Last week with the AFC predictions. This week we're going
to do the NFC predictions. This was one of my

favorite episodes that we did last week, THEFC predictions, because
it's just fun to predict and then see if you
were right or wrong. But you know, by the end
of the year, and if you were right, you brag
about it. If you were wrong, you don't even bring
it up to anybody ever. I just think it's totally
awesome situation.

So let's get into it.

We are gonna run through each division and we will
say what we are most excited for him give a
hot take as well. We hot takes, hot takes, Hot takes.
People love how to hot take guy. Yeah, I'm I'm
about clicks and hot takes get clicked, So I'm a
hot take guy. Julian's not. He wants to, you know,
for real. And and who's gonna win it? Who's gonna
win the division as well? Uh So let's start off

with the NFC East. You got the Giants, Eagles, Dallas Cowboys,
Washington Commanders a strong division last year, the Cowboys disappointed.
But what are we most excited for?

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Dulan.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
I'm most excited to see Jaden Daniels in year two,
Like he had statistically the greatest rookie quarterback season in
the history of the game, took his team to the
NFC championship team to have four wins the year before,
and how is he gonna like, how is he gonna
top that?

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Because we saw CJ.

Speaker 4 (06:56):
Stroud kind of not necessarily take a step back, but
it wasn't as a productive his year as CJ. Stroudsbrook year.
We're gonna fall into that trap with Jayden Daniels. He
just got Terry McLaurin back, so that that makes me excited.
But I'm really excited to see the progression of Jadeen
Daniels with Cliff Kingsbury under Dan Quinn in the Capitol.

Mm hmm.

Speaker 5 (07:20):
I'm excited for Brian Daball to have a bounce back here.
They won three and fourteen last year for the New
York Giants. Dave All was my coach for three years
in New England. We won a Super Bowl. I'm a
big fan of his. So if he has a bounce
back yere, I will see that twinkle in his smile again.
I'll see that sparkle in his eyes again, and I'll
be very excited for him. Not necessarily for the Giants

because they beat the Patriots twice in Super Bowl. I'll
be excited for Brian Dable.

tough division and Giants are I don't know.

I think the Giants are sleeping. Giants are going to
be slept on. They have, like they have probably arguably
one of the best defensive lines in the game.

Speaker 5 (08:18):
My hot take. Oh man, it's hard because you kind
of in this division, you kind of see what you're
gonna get, you know, it's hard to kind of pick
a surprise here. Oh, hot take.

One of the quarterbacks will be traded on the New
York Giants roster. They got too many.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
I think didn't just want happen or no, didn't what's
his name, just get traded, you pick it. Yeah, that's
that's They're in the same situation. They got they got Dirk,
they got Jameis Winston, and they got the veto.

Speaker 5 (08:50):
I mean one of like I just got cut. Oh
he got caught, all right, they're going to go three.
They can't go three, not three. You can't go three vets.
So I think Jamis Winston may be traded throughout the
season if another player goes down.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
I like that. I like that. Who's gonna win it, Rob.

Speaker 5 (09:06):
I'm gonna go with the Philadelphia Eagles. They're two established.
They got, you know, a core that is just too unstoppable,
their defensive offensive line. You know, that's where you win
games is with the lion and they're just so established
on both sides there. So just the Eagles are gonna repeat.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
Yeah, I think the Eagles are gonna win it, but
I don't think it's gonna be easy for them. I
think the the departure of the of Kellen Moore. I mean,
how many offensive coordinators has Jalen Hurgs had?

Speaker 1 (09:35):
Like four?

Speaker 5 (09:36):
And it's not stopping them, I know.

Speaker 4 (09:38):
And they're but you know they're returning. I heard you
say in one of your interviews twenty one of twenty
two stars.

Speaker 5 (09:43):
Oh no, they had twenty one or twenty two starters
in the Super Bowl last year. They were healthy. Yeah,
like that's that's one of the main reasons to win
a Super Bowl. And whatever they're doing is working with
the training staff how we grow these players on the field.

Speaker 1 (09:57):

Speaker 5 (09:59):
Go NFC South. You got the Tampa Bay Bucks, Carolina Panthers.
This is one of the weakest divisions in football. You
got the New Orleans Saints, you got the Atlanta Falcons. Julis,
what are you most excited for on this one?

Speaker 1 (10:11):
I'm most excited. Well, I'm not excited for the Saints,
that's for sure.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
I'm excited for Baker. I'm excited for the Bucks. You know,
like they've kind of established something. Even when Tom and
you left the organization. You guys left like an imprint.
They kept it going and they're keeping it going. Can
they keep it going I think they're going to, but
I'm excited to see how that goes. They added a receiver,

Speaker 5 (10:42):
The first round pick. I don't know his name. We'll
just call him first round pick. We're not supposed to
know his name until he makes place, all right, we
first rounded a first round pick receiver.

I think Godwin just got taken off the pup list.

They got Evans, they got players. I'm a little curious
about Tunsul, but we'll see.

Speaker 5 (11:02):
I'm excited for Pennix Junior at the hell, you know,
for the Atlanta Falcons. Let's see what he can do
a lefty. He beat out a veteran player, and Kirk
Cousins so excited to see what he can do and
if he can get Atlanta over that hump of just
being very average. And yeah, we'll see if that can happen.
I mean, this is the vision to you know, do

it in you know, as a first year starter. So

Hot take? Her hot take is Kirk kirk Cousins plays starts.

The Atlanta Falcons at some point this season, is it
because of injury?

to be for the Falcons?

My hot take is New Orleans Saints are just gonna
be a quarterback mess the whole entire season.

Yep. Yeah, And who's gonna win it. I'm gonna go
with the Tampa Bay Bucks to established. They got too
many vets on the team that been there. They got
corp of players, they got a nucleus, and when you
have a nucleus, you're gonna be good every single year.
And they're gonna win the division and go to the playoffs.

You know, we love Jimmy neutron type guys, and they
if they have nucleus, I'm gonna go with your word
on that organization you played there.

I'm going Tampa Bay Bucks as well.

They do. They got nucleus in the front office, they
got nucleus on the field, Levante David on defense, Vita
Villa and on the defensive line, the safety the Winfield
junior played for the Buffalo Bills going up.

The nucleus is legit on defensive side and off inside
of the ball for Tampa. That's why they're gonna win.

Speaker 4 (12:51):
They're gonna win NFC North. This is the Green Bay Packers,
the Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, and those Chicago Bears. The
thing that you are most excited for, Roberto.

Speaker 5 (13:04):
I'm excited for this Ben Johnson guy.

Oh, that's exciting.

And he left, you know, a team in the same
division to go be the head coach for the Chicago Bears.

And he's an offensive genius, that's what they say. And
I'm not excited to see what type of head coach
he is. I'm just excited to see what he does
for the offense for the Chicago Bears and Caleb Williams.
So let's see if he's really really that Goodause Caleb
Williams thrives this year, then that means Ben Johnson's a
real deal.

I think what I'm most excited for, though, I'm excited
for those Detroit Lions. Man, We've been talking about the
Detroit Lions for like the last three years of being
one of the best teams.

You know, they had the one seed. Were they one
seed last year? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (13:50):
They were the one seed last year. You know, they'd
lose both of their offense and defensive coordinators to getting
head coaching jobs, Aaron Glenn and Ben jons and who
went over to Chicago. So how are they gonna deal
with that? We talk about nucleus guys. It seems like
their whole team's new Kuless guys. You know, they've drafted
a lot of their guys. They've brought guys in like
Jared Goff that have resparked their career. They have an

underdog mentality. Even though they won the one seed last year.
A lot of people aren't talking about them this year.

Yeah.

I mean they just had so many injuries. Like I said, defense,
but earlier, Philadelphia Eagles had twenty one of their twenty
two starters from beginning of the year. That's the main
reason why you win Super Bowl. I mean, what Lions
have fourteen starters out going into the playoffs. I are, yeah,
and you can't win no matter what. But just shows
how good they're coaching was that they still dominated throughout
the whole season. And my hot take is that Minnesota

is going to fall off this year. They fell off
in the playoffs last year, and that's just going to continue.
A quarterback that's just brand new. You can be high
on them, but he's brand new, never played a game
in the NFL. Just they're gonna fall off. They're gonna
win like seven games this year.

just it doesn't seem like they when they're when they're

really have consistent methodical long drives. I love Brandon Jacobs.

know I love Golden. They drafted Golden in the first round.
He's gonna be a really good receiver. But maybe they
take a step back to Green Bay Packers.

our hot takes on Detroit and Chicago will be going

Detroit Lions, they're too good. They got everyone coming back

Green Bay's gonna end up winning the division. My hot
take is they don't even make the fucking playoffs. I'm
going with the Troit Lions as well. I think they
have just too many good players and they have they
have experience on how to win now exactly. You know
NFC West Robbie, he's in this division.

Speaker 5 (16:34):
Yeah, we got the l A Rams, We got the
Seattle Seahawk, San Francisco forty nine ers big disappointment last year. Uh,
and then we got the aerosone Cardinals. Oh am, I
already throwing out hot takes by saying biggest disappointments. Oh, yes,
I am, because that's what we do here. We're hot takers.
What's our most exciting thing? Oh, the most exciting thing
I'm excited for in this division? Oh what we got?

I'm excited for to see what Devonte Adams can do
with Matthew Stafford. I mean, who doesn't love a connection.
That's what brings fans into the stadiums. And you got
one of the best receivers in the game, Devonte Adams
and the both Vets, and Matthew Stafford one of the
best quarterbacks in the game as well. I want to
see that connection and see what they can do.

Speaker 1 (17:19):
You know, hopefully Stafford's throwing You got that disc that
this thing's scary.

Speaker 5 (17:25):
Now, he should come hang out with us. You just
got some surgery on your disc in your neck. I
had three surgeries on my disc. He's a quarterback, though,

Honestly, I'm just most I'm most excited to see. I
think this is like the most even division, low key,
I think I think the Cardinals are going to be
better than what people think. Gannon has used his whole
draft to draft defensive guys. He's a really good defensive coach.
And Kyler Murray always has that sneaky he's ikey good.

Like you could say what you want to say about
Kyler Murray, but the guy. I mean, they went like
nine to OHO three years ago with Cliff Kingsbury.

They've had winning.

Football in in uh Arizona, and I just think I
like I like Gannon, I like the coach. I think
I'm excited to see what the Cardinals do this year
because I think this is a muddier division than what
people think San Francisco. They don't I don't know who's
gonna play receiver for them. They have a lot of

like question marks there. We don't know what their defense
is gonna do. They lost Green Lawn and Hufonga. I
know they brought in Sallas, but we'll see St. Seattle.
Like I've been hearing nothing but great things out of
their camp about Sam Donald and McDonald's gonna have that
defense rock and they got a lot of great players
they have in Sane Corners and then La You can
never turn your back on Sean McVay. But if Matthew

do you mean he does? He's doing well in training camp.

If you just need Jimmy G for a game or two,
that's fine, he can do that. But Matthew Stafford is

They didn't really do anything this offseason upgrade, They paid
Brock Party, they had to get rid of Deebo Samuels
because the salary cap was just getting so out of control.
So my hot take is that they you know, they
look good on paper, but they don't perform that Well,

coordinator when we were with New England.
