Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to Dudes on Dudes. I'm Julian Edelman, I'm Rob Gronkows,
and this is the show where your favorite dudes talk
about their favorite dudes. What are we talking about today?

Speaker 2 (00:09):
When trash talk crosses the line?

Speaker 1 (00:12):
Patriots receiver that brings the juice?

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Well, the Chiefs make the playoffs, and then we wrap
it up with Bronx Stradamis and the chillis Dude of
the Week presented in my course life.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Dudes on Dude is a production of iHeartRadio. Season is
flying by, It's already cream season. Let's get into it.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
All right.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
We got some dude news.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
A lot went down around the league this weekend, and
let's take a look at some of these headlines that
caught our eye. First headline that caught our eye here
as Cleveland players say, forty nine Ers wide receiver Jenny's
cross the line with on field comments. M Jules, that

(00:54):
anyone ever crossed the line with on field comments when
you were playing the game.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Yeah, I've been called a few things, but I always
like it didn't bug me. I didn't care. I thought
that's your in between the lines and anything goes. But
clearly this I mean Juwan Jennings got punching the nuts
last week. The defensive lineman from Cleveland this week says

(01:20):
he deserved to get punching the nuts for how he
talks on the field, so he must be talking reckless
out there. I just want to know, what do you
think he's saying? Is he what is he saying to
get guys saying that he deserves to get hit in
the nuts?

Speaker 3 (01:32):
I don't think it's what he's saying, which is part
of it, which is part of it.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
But here's the thing.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
I think he just talks on a continuous basis to
where he deserves to get hit and deserves to get
you know, punished back. There's comments all the time flying
on the football field. A guy can say something to
you that's reckless as hack, that never really bothers you.
But I would say in the NFL, is when guys
start retaling, retaliating to other guys making comments. Is when

(02:02):
they don't stop with the comments all game long and
they finally get under their skin. And I think that's
what's happening here with Jennings.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
But what's he saying. He's saying something about his family,
his girl, his wife, Like I want to know what
makes you cross the line to where it goes through
your head that, hey, that guy deserves to get punched
in the nuts.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
I've heard it all at family shit, you know, saying
something about your girlfriend. You know, I've heard it all,
saying something about your teammate that's on the field, like
everything's set in between the lines, you know, at least
once throughout the year. I just think it's that he
just kept insisting, you know, on talking shit throughout the

(02:45):
whole game.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
That's just my theory here.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
I mean, Miles Garrett. I can't speak for how he
was raised, but if you have nothing good to say,
don't say something to somebody. Garrett says. So he had
a lot to say that was demeaning and disparaging towards
some of our players.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
And I was just trying to separate everybody, and I
tried to go up and ask for what the problem was,
and then he started coming at me. And I mean
some guys just roll like that. I mean, hey, Joan
Jennings just had to be rolling on something if he
was just going off like this the whole entire game,

(03:26):
even on Miles Garrett. Because you respect Miles Garrett, to
the highest t of a as an NFL player of
what he's doing out on the field. If you're even
going after him when Miles got Garrett is just trying
to chill things out, then hey, Joan Jennings was just steaming,
you know. And sometimes you know, people have personal problems,

(03:47):
you know, going on in their lives. I'm not saying
what the situation is. I'm just coming up with ideas,
you know, even ideas, even things that happened in my
life where off the field problems you bring onto the
field and you let your anger go on the field,
because that's kind of what makes football so great is
that you can take off field problems and you can

(04:07):
just unleash it, you know, on the guys that you're
going against, and just try to smash them and get
all that anger out. Maybe that's a situation here that
he's dealing with.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
Who knows, it could be anything.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Niners are going into a bye. It'll be interesting to
see what the next team says. All right, let's jump
on to another one. Andy Reid, We're gonna try to
tickle your tonsils on every play in every game. I
don't know what that means.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
I would say that they're trying to throw kind of
like throw everything at you, everything that they got, you know,
from trick plays to smash mouth football. Whatever it takes
to win games. Is kind of like tickling your tonsil,
because you know when you're tickling someone like their feet
or anything, they get all goofy and then you can

(04:52):
make a move on them, you know. I think that's
the situation here. And just what a quote by Andy Reid.
I mean great, He's always coming up with some great
sayings out there. He's got great commercials as well with
those nuggets when he's double dipping it and everything. So
Andy Reid's just a jem whenever he throws something out
there like this.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
Kansas City's remaining schedule Houston on Sunday Night Football, the Chargers, Tennessee, Denver,
Christmas Day, and then Las Vegas. They gotta win probably
all five of those.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
Man, are they gonna make the playoffs?

Speaker 1 (05:27):
Julian Ah, It's hard to bet against him. It's hard
to bet against him. But look, we've seen a lot
of We've seen a lot of the firsts for this
team this year. We've never seen Patrick Mahomes lose three
in a row. They did that this year. I think
we've never seen a lot. It's hard for me to
take Patrick Mahomes back.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
They're gonna win at Tennessee, They're gonna win at Las Vegas.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
But can they win that Houston.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Are they gonna win Houston game?

Speaker 4 (05:55):
In the Denver game?

Speaker 3 (05:56):
The good thing going for them is that all three
of those tough games are at home, and the two
easy games are versus two worst teams in the league
on the road with Tennessee and Vegas. So I think
between Houston the Chargers game in Denver, if they pull
off two of those wins, they gotta win.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
They gotta win.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
You think if they go ten and seven, yeah, I
pretty much might have a little shot to make the playoffs,
but I would say they would have to win all
five is more on the path that they're gonna, you know,
have to go to get into the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
I'm not writing them off until I see their computers.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Until the analytics.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
City Chiefs are eliminated from the playoffs. I will not
write them off because they're a team right now. If
they get into the playoffs, there's still Super Bowl contenders.
You know, if they get in the Chiefs.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
Can get in in.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
And beat anyone at any given time, but also they
can lose to anyone at any given time as well.
And that's the problem that's going on with their season
this year.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
The one thing that scares me is offensive line. I
know they've had Trump, Trum Simmons, he's banged up. I
think Mahomes has been sacked three or more times in
every game since we eate. That's not good. Juwan Taylor,
he's been banged up. Tray Smith high and low ankle spring.
I mean, that's the one thing you gotta do to

(07:18):
beat the Chiefs. That's what it's been shown over the years,
is you got to get Patrick uncomfortable in that pocket.
We saw that in two Super Bowls.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
We've seen that every time.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
They lose that because they let Joe Tony walk to
the Chicago Bears.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
And what are the Chicago Bears doing right.

Speaker 4 (07:37):
Now or in first place?

Speaker 1 (07:40):
And what is Ben Johnson doing right now?

Speaker 3 (07:42):
Ben Johnson's taking his shirt off in the locker room
after a Black Friday win.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Why did he do that?

Speaker 3 (07:51):
Because it's Ben Johnson and he gets hyped and he
loved the discounts that we're all over the internet.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
I think it's because he's he's given out free wiener.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Yeah, he's carrying off freehueners. And because the Chicago Bears
are in first place in one on Black Friday verse
the Philadelphia Eagles, the Super Bowl champions from last year.
And let me tell you, Ben Johnson looks pretty rip jewels.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
Yeah he does. He looks pretty jacked, he does. Where's
his hair? Does he shaved that bad boy? Or is
he just hairless?

Speaker 2 (08:26):
No, he's got hair.

Speaker 4 (08:27):
There's a little mop up there.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Is there can't sit h Yeah, I mean he's he's
like a receiver. He looks like a receiver.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
You ever have a coach go shirtless?

Speaker 1 (08:38):
So I think I did. I think my my at
Kent State, Doug Martin, my head coach. I think he
took his shirt off once. He used to do some
crazy shit, like we play our rival team and he
dressed up in Akron full uniform and ran onto our
field and like tried to get jump in drills with us,
like to hype us up. He was a hype guy

(09:01):
like that. Shut up, Doug Martin. I think he's over
at Elon now coaching up offense. What about you, Robbie,
You've seen a coach take off their shirt.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
I never have, actually, and I would say, the craziest
thing I've seen a coach do. Let me think about it, man,
I never really been in a situation like that before
I got a question, so I would just say, just
take the gatorade over the head. That's the craziest thing

(09:32):
I've ever seen one of my head coaches do before.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
Yeah, that means you're winning a lot. But did you
ever at the facility Patriots? Did you ever go the
coaches locker room shortcut through the coaches locker room.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
I did one time, and I felt so out of
place doing it, and I was so happy that I
didn't get caught either, Like there was no coaches in
the locker room at the moment, and I was like,
this doesn't feel right going through the coaches locker room.
That make a little shortcut just to get to the
training room, So I would I did it once and
never did it again.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
Yeah, so we used to have, you know, we have
our locker room and then there's the training room, and
then there was like a short cut through the coaches
locker room to the meeting rooms. But you cant you'd
have to go the long way but sometimes I would
cut through that coach's locker room and I've seen you
know you It's it's weird when you see a coach naked.

(10:29):
It really is is have you seen him in the shower.
It's weird when you see a coach in the shower
naked or you walk through it's it's like, man.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
It's like it is I've been in the showers before
with a coach in like when it's a position coach
or like our offensive coinator or head coach, you're like, yeah,
this is a little awkward. Like if it's a like
an assistant assistant or or graduate assistant coach, that's kind
of like a young guy that's kind of like your boy.

(11:00):
You know, that is kind of normal. But like when
you get like a coach, old coach than you and
they got knowledge and you see him in the shower,
you're like, this, this is a little.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
Awkward, knowledging a lot of hair. Yeah, let's move on
to the next one.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
Yeah, let's get out of this subject. George w how
do we get down that road?

Speaker 1 (11:17):
Let's go Because the coach taking shirt off, I was
like it kind of was like I saw I remember
seeing eyes without his shirt on once in that locker room,
and I was like, oh man, I gotta go. We'll
be right back after this quick break. Justin Herbert broke
his hand in his non throwing hand, left hand. I
think a metacarpool. They call that the metacarpool. I broke

(11:38):
my third metacarpol once and I was out for two
weeks and played with it. But do you think he
could play with a broken non throwing hand.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
I think he could. I mean it's a non throwing hand.
And he broke it on the first series.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
On Monday.

Speaker 4 (12:00):
No, not a month.

Speaker 3 (12:01):
He broke down the first series last week, and he's
getting He got surgery on Monday, December first, but he
still played. He still played on Sunday and he was
still won. Fifteen for twenty for one hundred and fifty
one yards, two touchdowns and one interception. So I think
he'll be better because he was playing in the pain
so like at that moment. So I think once it

(12:22):
gets healed, or once they fix it and they cast
it up, maybe take a week off just to give
it a little bit more time. But after that, you know,
once it's you know, at least halfway healed. I think
he can go out there and still play and just
protect it more, you know, just have the knowledge and
the knowing power that it is broken, and don't be
running around with the ball and taking hits. Just go

(12:44):
down when you need to go down, and just be
out there to hand the ball off and make great throws.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
Still, well, we saw this one with Aaron. I mean,
that's tough. Like even when you get hit and you
have a broken left hand, then you brace the fall
with your right hand leaves you in jeopardy. You're hurting
that hand. You're definitely not gonna be able to go
under center because you got to have that left hand up,
and that ball hits that left hand when you're under

(13:08):
the center, you know what I mean. So like they're
gonna have to go exclusively in shotgun, which they did
in that game. But the fact that he broke it
in the first drive. I've breaken that hand and it's
pretty impressive. That's impressive to play the whole game with
a broken hand.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
And just the fact that he finished the game and
he possibly might play even after the surgery on Monday.
That's just dog behavior right there at Jules.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
You know what. And that goes to tell you you
can't judge a book by its cover because you know
all Herbie. You know, tall, handsome Oregon kid, tree lover,
celebrity girlfriend. Dude likes to rip off. He'll rip your
face off too, like I guess you know. He plays
with broken hands and shit.

Speaker 4 (13:58):
Played with broken ribs as well before.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
Dude's tough. Dude is freaking tough.

Speaker 3 (14:03):
I like, I like.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
I hope they can get that offensive line going because
they got a tough rest of the way to go.
They got Philadelphia this week. I think, right, they got
Philly this week.

Speaker 4 (14:12):
It's gonna be a good game.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
Oh my god, they got They have a monster schedule.
Like I'm a little worried for them, especially with Justin
Herber being banged up going into this.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
Thing, Jules.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
They do have a tough schedule. They're a little bit
ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs. I believe whoever wins
the Chargers versus Chiefs game on Sunday, December fourteenth, that's
the team that's gonna get into the playoffs, you know,
as as the second seed, as a second seed in
that division with Denver winning it, and that's gonna be

(14:48):
the wildcared team that gets in. Chargers are ahead of
the Chiefs right now, but with this tough schedule, and
then that had to have game versus the Chiefs. That's
gonna be one of the biggest games of the year
in December.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
Man, it's undefeated always theatricals.

Speaker 3 (15:04):
Well, let's go back to that schedule, though.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
Let's go back to it.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
Let's see what the Chargers have lined up on their plate.
You knows, this is Thanksgiving leftovers, like and this is
a lot of leftovers that they got on their plate. Like,
this is like it ain't like this is like, you know,
fry turkey that's nice and moist. This is leftovers that's dry.
And they got to chop it up and it's all

(15:28):
bony soup. And they got the Eagles, that's the tab opponent.
They got the Cowboys, they got the Broncos, they got
the Chiefs, and then they got the Texans. It's the
hardest finish leftovers that you can possibly have after Thanksgiving.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
Those are mouldi leftovers, man, mold.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
These leftovers were left on the table and they got
to figure out a way how to you know, distinguish
it and eat it still.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
Well, that's some of the storylines of the league. Let's
toss it to this week's Dude Segment presented by Dude Wipes.
It's time for this week's Dude Segment presented by Dude.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
Wipes, and today we are going to be breaking down
a dude that has had an insane comeback season.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
Who could that be?

Speaker 3 (16:18):
Not me, Jules, because I'm not playing anymore. But I
did have an NFL comeback season. I was an NFL
Comeback Player of the Year and I won an sb
for Comeback Player of the Year as well, so I
had to bring back. I was speaking about this guy
that has had has amazing comeback season so far.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
It was six sixteen, fifteen.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
Two thousand, Yeah, it was when we won the Super
Bowl twenty fourteen season. It was the ACL knee Yeah,
ACL MCL tear, so I got stround. Both also got
knocked out on the play. It was when I went
up before a seam Deqwel Jackson beat him on up
little play action, caught the ball, boomed, the safety took
my knees right out, but blew out the knee because
it hit it right on right when I planted on

(16:59):
the ground, woke up, got knocked out, as well, but
you know, still caught the ball for a first down.
You know, I did what was best for the team,
and I sacrificed my knee and my mind, and and
you had Comeback Player of the Year, and then I
got Comeback Player of the Year because just like this
guy could potentially well, let's see who it is. Let's
see who we're talking about. Let's whip out the AI summary.

(17:20):
He might all right. Standing six feet tall and weighing
one hundred and ninety one pounds, this electric wide receiver
was drafted in the fifth round of the two thousand
fifteen NFL Draft. Since entering the NFL, he's gone on
to record six straight one thousand yard seasons from twenty
eighteen to twenty twenty three, earned four Pro Bowl selections,

(17:41):
and in twenty twenty he led the NFL in receptions
and receiving yards. Wow, he's an a listerer off the
field as well. Ay, I speaking facts A list regular regularly.
That's a tough word for me, right regularly. That concussion
that I got, that I to from that hit, but
I still made the comeback regularly. What is it regularly? Yeah, regularly,

(18:06):
there we go. It is what it is appearing at
fashion shows and high profile celebrity functions. Let's get on,
Stephon digs Ston dig Jules. What's the first thing you
think of when you hear the name Stefon Diggs? Oh?

Speaker 1 (18:31):
What is that?

Speaker 3 (18:32):
What's that? I don't know?

Speaker 1 (18:34):
That's a celebration.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
You did. Tell me what was the first thing you said?

Speaker 1 (18:37):
That's the first thing that I thought about.

Speaker 3 (18:38):
You showed me what you did, some crazy dance like
you close your nose and you started like waving like
there's a stinky fart in front of you. No, what
is that dance?

Speaker 1 (18:47):
The first thing that comes to mind is easy. My
guy is coming back, tough, tough football player, thirty one,
coming off the a CL and he's looking good. He
I mean, superhuman, damn near because I think he only
had like seven months off this ACL before he started
playing games.

Speaker 3 (19:08):
Yes, and that's why we're talking about him as a
comeback player, because yeah, he's had an unbelievable career, But
we're talking about him as a comeback player because the
last was it the last two seasons or was it
just last season? Only the last one? Only one season
he was with the Houston Texans, and he he was
having a pretty solid year, and he blew out his
ACL in week eight, October twenty seventh in that game

(19:31):
in twenty twenty deep. And then you do and then
you wait about a month or two before you even
get the surgery because you got to build up your
knee and the strength and leaning around it. The swelling
has to go down. Uh. And that's why we're talking
about him as comeback player this year because on a
normal basis, he's not a comeback player because he's he's
a he's a star player. So that's why we're talking

(19:52):
about it like that. And to come back the way
that he has come back at this age is what
is making this such a phenomenal store Like he's running
full speed out there. His quickness is still there. He
started week one, he was in training camp making plays.
He was kind of uncoverable, you know, in situations as well.
And that's what is so spectacular about what he's doing.

(20:14):
Because I've torn my ACL before, Duane, and it took
me about you know, week five six to even start
feeling right, and I got Comeback Player of the Year,
but it took me, you know, onto the Cincinnati game. Yeah,
it really did that. That whole you know thing with
Bill on the Cincinnati. Well that on the Cincinnati was

(20:35):
also let's let's get Gronk back on as well, and
it really happened like that. So it's just amazing what
he has been able to do at such at this
age with a new quarterback, young buck quarterback, new team,
and be performing at the level that he's performing at
right now for the New England Patriots.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
And you also, I also think he's just a swaggy dude.
I mean, you see him at the met Gala regularly.
I mean we we've we've seen the boat parties. These
guys got boat parties. He walks in fashion shows, cites
Alan Iverson for it. That's another cool guy. Like he's
just a cool guy. He's cool guys. He's a swag
dad and he just had a kid with Cardi. I mean,

(21:17):
you gotta if you have a rapper that's your girlfriend,
like one of the most famous rappers in.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
The world, you gotta be electric as shit. You gotta
be electric elect you gotta be like on at all times.
He's he's on, like you got you gotta be ready
to go, and he's ready to go. I feel like
at all times no matter the situations. I feel like
he's a guy that gets like four or five hours
of sleep maximum and just wakes up and like his
body's just twitching, and he can run full speed routes

(21:44):
and just and just be able to go.

Speaker 5 (21:46):
You know.

Speaker 1 (21:47):
I mean, he's probably got top three most famous girlfriend
of any Patriot probably. I mean, Giselle was damn famous.
Cardi B's for famous.

Speaker 3 (22:00):
Well, Gazelle was number one by far, and then I
think it's Cardi Cardi B. She's number two, So it's
not she's top too easy easy, top two easy. Yes, Camille,
I mean Camille's pretty famous.

Speaker 1 (22:15):
Yeah, Camille's up there.

Speaker 3 (22:16):
Camille's up there. Yeah, but I mean, you know, Cardi
B's number two still. I mean, I love Camille, but
I mean, yeah, that's that's like saying, you know that
Drake May is more famous than Tom Brady right now? Yeah,
it's I mean great, you know, great qualities, but just
not more famous than Brady.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
No, but you know, he I think he gets a
bad rap. Also, he had he had a bad rap
remember when uh he left Buffalo, like he you know,
I think him being motivated. I think the injuries helped
him in this situation to go on to a young

(22:56):
football team that needs a thriving leader and a leader
with that atitude. And he's changed that receiver room in
New England around tremendously. Like you see Booty making plays,
you see Pop making plays. You see all these guys
making plays, and he's the guy who's getting paid the
most so and he's making a lot of plays. He's
he's got a lot of production this year. He's averaging

(23:17):
like six seven catches a game. You know, he had
a revenge game Week five, first time facing his old
team as a Patriot, the Bills goes for ten one
forty six breakout game. I mean, he's he's shown a
lot of toughness this year, mental physical toughness, and an
attitude that I think that has helped the team.

Speaker 3 (23:40):
Yeah, big time has helped the team. And Vrabel, you know,
has that mental toughness as well. And then he brings
in the guy like like Diggs who has the mental
toughness and and they're bonding together with it like they're
not budding heads. It seems like like that hasn't been
the case at all. And if you combine those two,
like with a head of coach like that, and and
a star wide receiver who's a veteran who can show

(24:02):
and lead the way. I mean, that's a great combo.
That's a great formulation. Has been just helping Drake make
out tremendously, you know, to help his growth go and
to be a reliable receiver and you know, in the
slot position or wherever he is on the field.

Speaker 4 (24:17):
I mean that's.

Speaker 3 (24:18):
Huge, huge, huge push for a guy like Drake May
and Stefan Diggs. I mean, I would say the best
thing for his career recently was actually going to Houston
with the frustration in Buffalo, whatever was going on there.
When he went to Houston, Like, I feel like it
was kind of a learning lesson for him whatever went
down in Buffalo. And now he's bringing the best juice

(24:41):
he can catch you me and the best version of
digs to the New England Patriots, and the Patriots have
so far strike Gold bringing him in as a free
agent and paying him to be the guy that he
needs to be.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
It's crazy that he was a fifth round draft pick.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
Fifth rounder.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
Yeah, he's had some elite years. I mean, he he
led the league in receptions and yards. I mean, will
he go over a thousand. He's gonna go over a
thousand yards this year.

Speaker 3 (25:09):
I think, well, what's what's it going for right now?

Speaker 1 (25:12):
He's got six hundred and fifty nine yards with seven
games to go.

Speaker 3 (25:14):
Yes, So yes, he's gonna go over a thousand yards
this year. He's gonna have another thousand.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
And I think he's gonna get stronger. Like to your
point earlier, and when I tore my ico, I was
better at the end of the year than I was
at the beginning of the year, because you need to
get that endurance strength on that knee. You're you're getting stronger.
He's still recovering that fucking thing.

Speaker 3 (25:35):
Yes, And it's probably you know, when you get on
it seven eight months into it. Every yes, you're out there,
and even if you're looking like you're in stride and
playing great, your knee is gonna swell up on you
no matter what. That's just how it is from months
seven to ten. It swells up on you, and it
it feels weak kind of sometimes after practice or a
game of being on it, and it only gets strong,

(25:57):
gets stronger throughout the year, and you only get better,
You only trust in your body more as the year
goes on. So he's gonna go over a thousand. He's
going over He's gonna start producing more and more, just
like he has been.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
He's been really good in the system for Drake, like
safety blanket wise, They've been using him in a lot
of spots. They put him in, you know, the three spot,
they'll put him in the slot, they'll put him outside
at X you know. So she's shown his versatility. I'm
sure he likes playing with coach McDaniels, who's been probably
a good addition for that whole offense. But man, he's

(26:32):
it's cool having like a cool guy in New England,
you know what I mean, Dayton Cardi B. You know,
like all the off the not just dating, just had
a kid, just had a kid, Cardi B. But like also,
you know, he's a cool It's just it's that's like
cool to have that.

Speaker 3 (26:51):
I feel, especially in the NFL world. I mean as
an NFL player, it's like, what's the other profession.

Speaker 4 (26:56):
You want to do.

Speaker 3 (26:57):
It's not like oh, NBA player or golf where it's like, yo,
I want to be a rapper or singer like that.
That's how you view it as like when you're playing
in the NFL and like he's dating one of the
you know, most famously known rappers, women rappers of all
time and Cardi B. You know, so like that's cool,
Like that's swaggy in ways, like it's it's cool feeling

(27:19):
to have a teammate like that in the locker room.
I bet you you know, guys play ball better when
they see CARDI be like, should I listen to all
her songs? I got a ball, I got a ball.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
You know he's got He's definitely got some street credit
in the locker room for sure. How many guys you
think are going up to him saying, hey, Cardi B,
gutty girls, goutty girlfriends. For me, there's probably a lot
of guys.

Speaker 3 (27:40):
Uh, I mean yeah, they want to be especially the
young bucks young bucks. Yeah, young box young bucks. Are yo.
Let me let me get some scraps. Let me get
some Cardi B scraps. Oh is that too much?

Speaker 6 (27:58):
No?

Speaker 3 (27:58):
I mean leftover leftovers, leftovers. I mean that's what everyone
said to me back and the day. Oh, I yo,
like my friends, Oh, let me just get some leftovers. Rob,
I'm like, what does that even mean? They you said
it to me? I never said that I'd be like leftover.
It's like for Thanksgiving.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
Kind of it's kind of like Thanksgiving, but uh, Stefan
Diggs likes, he likes Josh McDaniels.

Speaker 3 (28:26):
Have you have you ever met Diggs Joels?

Speaker 1 (28:29):
I have, Yeah, I met him recently training camp. In
training camp, we talked over the offense a little bit.

Speaker 3 (28:33):
It was cool.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
Seemed hungry for information, you know. He he seemed to
be in a good spot mentally. He seemed to be
excited to go to work. That was like the cool
ship that I came that I that crossed me when
I met him. He did throw the ball to me.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
I forgot he did. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
I was walking out doing Fox Show. Yeah, and I
was like on air and he like threw the ball
to me, and.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
I did you catch it? Got it? Got it? You
caught it? Caught it? Oh, your hands are still reliable.

Speaker 4 (29:03):
Shoulder.

Speaker 3 (29:03):
I'm looking at that pinky finger right now on your
right arm, and it looks kind of damage and bent.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
And it's the shoulders, like, oh your shoulder. I left
shoulder really because that's catching is the shoulder strength, you
know what if you think about it.

Speaker 3 (29:17):
That's that it shoulder strength.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
I feel I think it shoulder.

Speaker 3 (29:20):
Oh okay, say that hand and shoulder, it's all it's
all connected.

Speaker 1 (29:24):
Well, I think that is when you when you when
you when you pull your arms out, you have to
lock that in. Yeah, you know what I mean. And
when those are weak, it's always like you can always
tell who has a bum shoulder on. Sometimes how guys
catch balls if they go like this, it's because they
don't want to put their weak shoulder if it's hurt
on top.

Speaker 3 (29:43):
You know, I don't know, catching clinic by jewels, no
coming to you, catching clinic one on one by the
add le nut and and you know on top of
the acl coming back. He's also been playing with a
broken finger the last few weeks. I mean, you got
to have a different mentality to be a white receiver.
I mean, yeah, you know, as a lineman, broken finger,
you just cast it up, but like you got to

(30:05):
use that finger. And him going out there with the
broken finger and still making all the catches and plays.
I mean that that's mental toughness right there. And that's
what Vrabel talked about. You know, they gotta be a
mental tough team. And uh, but now but here we go.
But now we got some facts what Drake May said

(30:25):
on Diggs playing You know through his injuries that Steph's
probably dramatic. Every time he gets hit, he lies on
the ground and acts like he just got hit by
an eighteen wheeler or something. And you gotta love that.
That that's the connection that you want to see between
a quarterback and wide receiver where you can just throw digs,
get it digs Yeah, at other players on your team.

(30:49):
It kind of builds that connection and chemistry even more.

Speaker 1 (30:53):
Who are the most dramatic guys in our locker room?

Speaker 2 (30:55):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (30:56):
I would say Martellus Bennett. Maybe I would say Ninko, Yeah, oh, Ninko, Nino,
will Marty b at beginning of practices, Oh remember like yeah,
individual dreamt. Yeah, I think he's out for the year. Yeah,
playing in the game, goes into the locker room, goes
get some treatment. I'm like, this guy's a genius. I
gotta take some notes. Like that's how you get off
practice that day?

Speaker 2 (31:17):
Oh my.

Speaker 3 (31:18):
Josh mcdanels says like Josh McDaniel's at first always fell
for it, and then like week eight he's like, all right,
just just go you don't want to be out here,
just go get some treatment. But then with ball in
the game, Yeah, there go nink always solido.

Speaker 4 (31:31):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (31:32):
I remember one time that his life is dramatic.

Speaker 1 (31:34):
He took too much, i know, explode at his eye
and this was like his eye was twitching and he looks.

Speaker 6 (31:41):
He's like, I think I'm having a stroke. I'm think
you're having a stroke. I'm like, bro, you ain't Bruskie,
you have no stroke. And he's like, do I'm having
a stroke. And there's another time. There's another time he
came off the field. My acos got Jim, it's got,
it's got.

Speaker 1 (31:59):
Jim looks he has no it's there, it's there, and
he goes, no, I swear try one more time. He's like, no, Niko,
you're good. He goes, oh, I thought it was gone.

Speaker 6 (32:07):
Man.

Speaker 1 (32:07):
It just reminded me last time. That guy was like
web MD all the time, on web MD all the time,
looking at shit like, man, I can't get into some
of the stories. I can't.

Speaker 3 (32:19):
Yeah, I know you can't.

Speaker 1 (32:21):
You can't.

Speaker 3 (32:21):
I know what you're talking about. You remember know the
web ones. Oh my, he's dramatic. He's more dramatic than dramatic.

Speaker 1 (32:29):
All right, let's get on to what kind of dude
Stefan Diggs is in the locker room?

Speaker 3 (32:36):
All right?

Speaker 1 (32:37):
Is he a stud? Is he a freak? Is he
a dog? Is he a whiz? Or is he a
dude's dude?

Speaker 3 (32:46):
I mean, I mean Joels, Come on now, I think
this one's pretty easy. He brings, you know, some stugly
factors to the because of his athleticism and his quickness
and his football. I Q, you got to be a
smart football player in order, you know, to be able
to ball and have you know, the lead the league
in receptions in yards. We know our guys a freak
off the field. Yeah, freak off the field, no doubt

(33:07):
about that. Hey, no doubt. You gotta be a freak
if you're dating kytie B. I mean you listen to
her songs. Damn Like we're allowed to say that because
her songs, Oh they make you freaky. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (33:20):
I think it's easy.

Speaker 3 (33:21):
It is easy. I mean, we're gonna stamp it right now.
One two three, dog.

Speaker 1 (33:26):
Because the segment is presented by Dude Wipes. What was
Stefan Diggs?

Speaker 3 (33:34):
Well, his cleanest moment is also kind of his most
doggly moment as well. They kind of go together and
I'm gonna say it's the Minnieapolis miracle when they're facing
the Saints in the playoffs, Like what was it like,
no time left on the clock, and uh, who threw
it up to him? Kirk Cousins.

Speaker 1 (33:51):
Kirk Cousins, but Chase Keenum.

Speaker 3 (33:54):
But where was Kirk Cousins? Was he injured that year?
I thought he was on Minneapolis this hurt? Or was
he was he still on the.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
No, he was still on Washington, Washington.

Speaker 3 (34:04):
Wow, this is a throwback because this was twenty eighteen,
so this was the twenty eighteen NFC Division Round And
he made that clean catch. He jumped off in the air,
high pointed, he came down nice and clean, like the
dude wipes, landed on his feet and then just cleanly
ran right into the end zone to what was it
the final seconds?

Speaker 2 (34:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (34:25):
Did the run?

Speaker 1 (34:26):
Was it walk off?

Speaker 3 (34:26):
Was it a walk off?

Speaker 1 (34:27):
It was walk off?

Speaker 3 (34:28):
It was a walk off. He turned a twenty seven
reception catch into a sixty one yard TD and it
was all. It was the first walk off touchdown in
playoff history as well. Minnesota won twenty nine the twenty
four that game.

Speaker 1 (34:44):
Now I remember watching I think we were what time
was this, but.

Speaker 3 (34:49):
You it was twenty eighteen. We were in won the
Super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (34:53):
Yeah, we were in the playoffs, and I remember, you
know sometimes before games in the playoffs, you go in
the equipment room and then they.

Speaker 3 (35:01):
Got a peak on what's going on with the games.

Speaker 1 (35:03):
I think I remember seeing this, Yes, when I went
in to go get my like socks or something, because
sometimes you always see the guys in there see what
other games are doing. And they walked off with this.
I was like, holy shit, Yes.

Speaker 3 (35:16):
I mean that was a clean moment in his career.
I would say the cleanest moment, that the most moment
that defying Stefan Diggs is playing career is definitely the
Minneapolis Miracle. But like, you got to be a dog
to be able to pull that off, too, Like the way,
like the way he kept his balance he went up
high point, his legs were almost cut off, you know,

(35:38):
cut off from underneath when he was up in the air,
they kind of were, but he stumble bummed it like
you just said, put his hand down, kind of retained
himself and then ran into the end zone nice and cleanly.
So this dude's a dog. And then on top of it,
just had a baby with Cardi b and like the baby,
Thursday Night Football Game was born, and he's tossing footballs

(35:58):
to cheerleaders. You got gotta be a dog. You gotta
gotta be a dog to do that. Love Stefan, love
it Electric Electric, I can as can be.

Speaker 1 (36:08):
And that was the dude segment presented by Dude Wipes.
Dude Wipes Best Clean pants Down. He's been a great
addition to the Patriots receiver room. He's came back from injury,
been a leader in the locker room. Hasn't gone crazy
the last few weeks stat wise, but he's had some

(36:31):
very timely situational catches. Had to catch on fourth down
versus the Giants on Monday Night Football. And he'll he'll
be big down the stretch. We'll be right back after
this quick break. Let's get into the chillis Dude of
the Week presented by our favorite beer, cors leg A

(36:51):
cors Light delivered straight to your door. Visit Corslight dot com,
Slash dudes and celebrate responsibly.

Speaker 5 (37:00):
Oh Joels, cheers to you chorus Like Colors the Rockies,
I'm about to take a sip and be feeling good
a little tipsy, and you know what time it is.
It's top for Chilse Dude of the Week, and it's
time for another edition of Grostradamis. Grosadamis is when mister

(37:23):
Rob Gronkowski himself becomes just so smart you think he's
like Einstein out there. So let's get to it.

Speaker 1 (37:33):
Einstein with crystal balls, all right, Gronksidamus. He was almost
exactly right on with AJ Brown's statline last week, almost
exactly right on. Besides the Bears winning, he nearly predicted
the exact Black Friday score for that game. Gronksidamus also

(37:57):
predicted Tucker Craft's breakout game. Unfortunately he didn't did stick around.
He is the all knowing, the great, the powerful gronkster
domistra Domis, Oh, gronkster Domis. What do you foresee in

(38:22):
this week's matchup between the Detroit Lions and the Dallas Cowboys.

Speaker 3 (38:30):
This one's a really tough one, but not for Gronkshadamis,
because Gronksterdamis is just so scientifically knowledgeable that he will
possibly get this one right once again, just like his
other stat Lions that he got right, especially the Black
Friday AJ Brown stat line. That was very impressive by
Gronksha Damis. But Damis thinks the Dallas Cowboys are hot

(38:50):
right now. They're one of the hottest teams.

Speaker 4 (38:52):
In the NFL.

Speaker 3 (38:53):
Yes, their record doesn't say that, but that's because they
lost a lot of games at the beginning of the season.

Speaker 4 (38:57):
Well, they got a.

Speaker 3 (38:58):
Powerful offense and the Troit Lions they're flimsy right now.
They're frustrated. Jared Goff in the pocket he's been getting,
you know, flustered because they've been getting in his face.
And he's a pocket quarterback. He doesn't know how to scramble,
and Dak Prescott does know how to scramble. So I'm
going with the Dallas Cowboys to stay hot against the

(39:21):
Detroit Lion.

Speaker 1 (39:25):
Wow, the Gronksa Damis takes the Cowboys over the Lions.
Cowboys did just beat the Super Bowl matchup of last year. Oh,
gronks to Damas. How will the matchup between Shador Sanders
and Cam Ward go this weekend in the Tennessee Titans

(39:46):
Cleveland Browns game.

Speaker 3 (39:47):
Oh, you're throwing Gronkstra Damis. I'm one of the hottest
headlines of the whole last year of two young rookies
going into this season with one of the young rookies
is the number one pick who is way more under
the radar compared to the guy that went what was
it fifth round or sixth round to the Cleveland Browns
this year. One of those rounds, Gronkstra Domas, you know,

(40:09):
stops paying attention after the fourth round, So that's why
he doesn't know if he was the fifth or sixth
round because to Gronksha Damis, you got to be a
top four round guy in order to get paid attention to.
But now with this game going down, I think it's
two terrible teams that are playing here, as Gronksha Damas

(40:30):
has just made that very knowledgeable to all the fans
out there, and cam Ward is gonna be kind of
the same stat line that he's been all season. This
is going to be a huge breakout game for Shador Sanders,
but it's not gonna mean much in the future because
it's going versus Tennessee Titans, the worst team in football.

(40:51):
You know, Miles Garrett needs to break that sack record
and can't do it I versus a better team to
go against in the Tennessee Titans, So cam Ward is
gonna be a little frustrated because of Miles Garrett going
for that sack record and the Tennessee Titans aren't gonna
know how to handle. But Shadora Sanders going versus Tennessee Titans,
this is where he's gonna strive. I don't think he's
gonna be this great, you know, throughout the whole year.

(41:14):
I think he's gonna take advantage of terrible teams in
terrible situations. So Chador is gonna have, you know, a
pretty solid game because of just who they're going against.

Speaker 1 (41:24):
How many touchdowns he thrown he's gonna.

Speaker 3 (41:26):
Throw to this game just two, he ain't gonna have three,
he ain't gonna have four. It's gonna be to some
mistakes as well.

Speaker 1 (41:33):
All right, Well, staying on that game, gronkster damas well,
Miles Garrett break the all time sack record this season,
and if so, how many sacks will we have against
Tennessee and cam Ward who's been tacked sacked the most
well ground.

Speaker 3 (41:51):
Shadamis works better when he is a little tipsy. So
let me drink a little bit of my course light
right now, and then it gets the brain flowing. The
calculations start to produce of the brain chemistry.

Speaker 4 (42:03):
And there we go.

Speaker 3 (42:06):
Gronha damas he's been hitting the head, never versus Miles Gary.
So if I was hitting the head versus Miles Gary.

Speaker 4 (42:12):
I won't be able to give these takes.

Speaker 3 (42:13):
Groncia Damous would not be uh, you know, as smart
as as he is right now because.

Speaker 4 (42:18):
Of Miles Garrett.

Speaker 3 (42:19):
But thankfully he never went versus Miles Garrett before in
his career. But uh, he will break the sack record.
The record is twenty two and a half, so he
only needs three and a half more sacks. He's got
games versus Tennessee. I think he picks up one more
versus Tennessee at Chicago. One, Yeah, one or two, one
or two. You know, he's not going to break the record.

Speaker 1 (42:40):
It's credible he had I think he might get the
record this weekend. I know sacked a lot.

Speaker 4 (42:46):
Yeah he has been.

Speaker 3 (42:47):
Actually yeah, I don't think he breaks it though, because
because the Tennessee Titans do know about Miles Garrett in
this record and how dominant he's been, so they got
at least devise a game plan where they chip them
like every time, or just put two on them. That's
why I'm saying they're gonna give him so much attention
that he only gets one or two sacks this game Chicago.
He's going to have another good game versum because the

(43:10):
Chicago Bears. Yeah, because it's gonna kind of Miles Gary
is going to frustrate them so much because of just
how good of a player he is. The Bears are
going to be, oh, we got the formula and no
one could sack us like they did last year. Miles
Garret is gonna show them wrong. He's gonna get one
or two versum, and then I think he beats it
against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Speaker 4 (43:28):
You got Buffalo.

Speaker 3 (43:29):
You know they got their left tackles out, so may
get another one there. But I think it truly goes
down versus the Pittsburgh Steelers, a division rival game. That
could be a better situation for Miles.

Speaker 1 (43:42):
Garrett, and that would be in sixteen games.

Speaker 3 (43:44):
Yeah, and it would be in sixteen games, and he's
going versus rival TJ.

Speaker 2 (43:48):
Whtt.

Speaker 4 (43:48):
Who oh who's better?

Speaker 2 (43:50):
T J.

Speaker 4 (43:50):
Watt?

Speaker 3 (43:50):
Miles Gearre who deserves a war, who deserves Defensive Player
of the Year, who deserves to be All Pro?

Speaker 4 (43:55):
Between those two always.

Speaker 1 (43:56):
Well Tjah Yeah holder with Mike.

Speaker 4 (44:01):
Yeah, yes, so he's he is.

Speaker 3 (44:03):
So he wants to beat it against him who holds
the record with Michael Strahan. Miles Garrett breaks it versus
Pittsburgh Steelers in sixteen games on the sixteenth.

Speaker 1 (44:12):
Game, Edel Dumas thinks maybe he gets it this week.

Speaker 3 (44:15):
Broedle Domas, get out of here. There's only one dominion
out there.

Speaker 1 (44:20):
There's only one, only one dumbas, only one dumbus, only
one dumbus. All right, gronkster dumbas, last one.

Speaker 3 (44:27):
Let's hear it. Bring it on, Roch Domis. Chemistry is
flowing right.

Speaker 1 (44:31):
Now, Gronkster Dumbis will steal toe Joe lead the Cincinnati
Bengals to a miraculous playoff earth steel Toe Joe.

Speaker 4 (44:45):
Steel toe Joe.

Speaker 3 (44:46):
I really like that, uh that name steel Tell Joe,
I mean steel te Joe should probably try out for
the New York Giants, and he would have a better
kicking toe than that that the kicker for the Giants
right now.

Speaker 1 (44:57):
You know we played with Coup right, yeah? I remember
he was on our team. No, I wasn't think he
was on our practice squad. I don't know maybe you weren't.

Speaker 4 (45:05):
There that I wasn't there that year, but he was on.

Speaker 1 (45:08):
Our practice squad. He was funny as hell. He's a
funny guy.

Speaker 2 (45:10):
He is.

Speaker 4 (45:11):
I mean that was a funny kick. Yeah, I mean,
I gotta agree with you. Was the kid is funny?

Speaker 3 (45:16):
But still tell Joe would have had a better chance
at kicking that ball.

Speaker 1 (45:20):
On Monday Night, watch two Disney movies, but the Diddy
Diddy Willard grind Remember remember the garbage kicker toe kicking
field goal kicking? Uh movie? Remember that? Guys? No one
remember the Tony Danza movie where he was a garbage
man that had a steel toe that kicked field goals.

Speaker 3 (45:39):
No, I don't I remember that.

Speaker 4 (45:42):
But does it?

Speaker 1 (45:42):
Do they get in?

Speaker 4 (45:43):
Gronchter Damas says, no chance.

Speaker 3 (45:45):
Cincinnati Bengals aren't getting what's their record right now?

Speaker 4 (45:49):
Anyways?

Speaker 2 (45:49):
What are they?

Speaker 1 (45:50):
Four and nine, four and eight, four eight.

Speaker 3 (45:53):
Four and eight, They got Buffalo, Baltimore, Miami, Arizona, Cleveland left.

Speaker 4 (46:00):
I don't I don't think they get in.

Speaker 3 (46:02):
No, now, they don't get it. I would say very
slight chance, like a half percent chance. I don't think
they pull it off now.

Speaker 1 (46:10):
But would gronkster Domins do to change that team for
next year.

Speaker 4 (46:13):
Oh, Domas with.

Speaker 3 (46:16):
Uh, get it, get it an offensive lineman, you know,
to protect Joe Burrow like to the max, a star
studded offensive linement that is uh and bring in a
couple guys on the secondary as well. Yeah, I like
it and it's set that can make big plays, a
couple of interceptions to put the offense in great situations

(46:38):
to go out there and just put points up, even
more points up on the board.

Speaker 1 (46:43):
Well, I can't wait to see when Gronks and Dramas
is right. And that was the chill is due to
the week thanks to our favorite beer, cors like It
cores Light delivered straight to your door. Visit Corslight dot com.
Slash dudes and celebrate responsibly.

Speaker 3 (46:57):
Yes, Groner Domas to celebrate response. That would be the
