It's like, you know, clapping the ticket, but like that's
you get this like warm feeling. It's absolutely everyone's going
to participate.

We host the Envision Latino Film and Music Festival in Miami,
put primervice the Latinos in Hollywood. What I thought about
the lack of you know, Latino representation in Hollywood. What
do we got to do to keep growing this? And
I see this here? How how does it feel to

be you have Cuban heritage? Your mom's from Cuba, they
got my way and you were born here in the States.
So to be Cuban American just like myself and to
be able to give opportunities or how much did that
play in in choosing Gloria for this role?

Speaker 5 (03:04):
A lot, A lot. Yeah, you know, it's important to
me to tell all the stories right, and to tell
stories from from the places that we come from and
who we are. And so that made a lot of
sense because I knew this character. I know, I know
the Cuban grandma and I even tapped. I don't know
if you guys know Jenny Lorenzo, Jenny Cubanela. I tapped

Jenny and I was like, hey, Jenny, I need some
help because we've become friends over the years. I'm like,
I need some help. I'm writing this role. It's keepan Grandma.
I want Gloria to play it.
