Speaker 1 (00:00):
M hm.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Hm hm.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
H and I want a picture got over three thousand life,
which I was like, hey, not bad for this blood.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
None, no, no, it's not bad at all. Actually yet,
if you if you feel ever so applied to share
with the Eyes of Here members on YouTube. Here we go.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
There's my movie picture.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
Yeah. I was at a see angle. You know it's
it's hanging down. It's like this, it's a good angle.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
I'm looking pretty thick in the air, which is you know,
it's always a good thing because I'm kind of thick.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Ah.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
But uh, no filter needed on that one. The sunglasses
really came in handy. I cover the dark circles, the bags, everything.
But it was a good vacation. I had a good time,
ate some good food. It was with family, you know,
hung out. I loved it, needed it. Kids had a

(01:27):
good time. It was great. Husband got to see old friends,
we saw we saw guys that were in our wedding
party that we never get to see.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
It was just a lot of fun and I like it.
The ride was hillacious, though, I will tell you that
being in that car get out after eight hours the
first day, Riga Mortis can't even walk.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Yeah, was he talking about this one too.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
The girls. Yeah, the girls are out to play.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
There you go, good time, you join the sun.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
I was enjoying the warm weather. It was hot as hell.
They had a lazy river where we were, so I
kind of just grabbed the tube, just floated into a
fit any It was great.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Nice, just dodge all just dodge all the pepee and
all the particles and stuff of the lazy river.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Very clean, extremely cole.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
I can't go anywhere near those things.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
I love them, Oh my god, oh my god.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
I can't go near them.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Two hours I think I floated around that thing and
just got the sun and it's fun. It's a good time.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
And you know, me kind of kind of be particular
about some of the things I do. But I cannot
go anywhere near any of those places. Do you see
me with the family goes to them. I'm off on
the side.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
I'm just watching well to be I mean, I don't
want to say exactly where we were. But it wasn't
a water park. It's not a water park, but they
happened to have three different huge pools and then so
slides for the kids and a lazy river. But it's
not technically a water park.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Right, So it's not like a see a lot of
those now where they had those, Yeah, they.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Added them to the facility that we were at, right,
But it just it's gorgeous there, and it just we
had such a great time, and it's nice to see
family that you can't see often. You know. It's good
for my husband to get back home and see everybody,
and it's nice for my kids to see her grandparents.

(03:31):
And it was just it was a fun trip, wholesome,
fun trip. Had a good yeah, and.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Almost did it running in the TNA pay per view.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
I was three hours away.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Man for me, I know everybody thinks just because you're
in the state means you're right next door to wherever
the thing is.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Are you just Illinois? I got one text from one
of the guys, are you illinoy or Chicago? It's like, uh, Illinois,
Chicago is in Illinois, but I am not in Chicago.
I had to make that very clear. So yeah, could
it wasn't wasn't in the cards for me that day.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
So funny stuff.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Yeah, But now I'm back and I am ready to
rock and roll. There. So many things are going on
this week right now, and we're going to get into them.
We're gonna debate them. We're a great probably debate them
because you are just ridiculous with your comments here. But
what what do you want to start with? The we

(04:33):
have like four or five stories break.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
Breaking news, the singer. Yeah, let's play the stinger.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Ready, you should have it ready, Bro, you're right, let's
go bro. Oh my god, the worst.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Yeah, like breaking news, this one I won't sorry I.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Wrote, and one of the one we can't Oh my gosh.
And I was like, what are you talking about? And
then Hi, Rede, do you have the story or do
you want me to pull it up?

Speaker 3 (05:09):
I do have the story. Let me pull it up.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Okay. So two called Scorpio Apparently uh was in an
some kind of altercation. He works as a security guard
at a gas station or rest stop.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Or loves Low's Loves Travel Stop in Kansas City, Missouri.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Loves Travel Stop sounds like a gas station slash.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
It sounds like one of those gas stations that has
the cages on the outside.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
Well you know, no shame in working sounds like.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
The cages.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Well who knows. But apparently I read TMZ today and
he says this was in self defense because he's a
security guard, and uh, apparently a man was lighting up
a cigarette inside the store. Now the man denies that
he lit that cigarette. But they started, I guess having words.

(06:14):
I guess the man doesn't know who Charlie really is,
as just called Scorpio he's badass. But they got in
I guess a little bit of a scuffle and he
pulled a knife. Scorp and started stabbing the guy in
self defense. So it I guess because the guy tried.

(06:38):
He says the guy tried to grab him and just
pulled his knife and started stabbing him.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
The guy was bleeding from his head, chests, buttocks. Scorpio
stabbed him in the ass.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Holy how many times was he stabbed? I mean he
was shanked, as they say, shanked. Not a funny matter.
I don't mean to make light of this, but this
is this is crazy, Like I never would have dreamed
that he would just pull a knife and start stabbing someone.

(07:19):
So anyway, the guy saying that scorp is the aggressor.
Scorp is saying it was self defense. He's facing two
felony charges, one count of first degree assault and one
count of armed criminal action. So he bonded out pled
not guilty, and next month he'll have his hearing, I'll

(07:40):
have his day cork to see. But holy crap, had
his heavy stuff? Man, what's your take on this? Do
you know?

Speaker 3 (07:49):
Not funky? I've been around scorp a couple of times.
That's not funky. That's not funky. He was taken away
in a flash. I could just see with him, you know,
he there definitely has to be more to the story
for him to be pushed, I guess to that limit,
and definitely to pull a knife. There's there's absolutely got

(08:09):
to be some footage in this place that needs to
be revealed to see why a knife would have been
pulled by, you know, somebody protecting the store. But you know,
from my times around him, he's always been super chill.
So I just I can't imagine it going any bit
more than one to one hundred for him to have

(08:30):
to brandish a knife.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Yeah, Like I was trying to from the article, I
was trying to replay it in my head, like from
what I read, trying to get a visual of what happened.
And it's like, if the guy just shoved him, why
the hell would he pull like a knife from a
shove or a push or something like that. The guy,

(08:53):
like you said, there has to be more that they're
not reporting, Yeah, for him to actually go to another
you know what I mean and start stabbing somebody. So
this is a crazy story, and I'm sure more will
come out, And like you said, maybe there were you know,
cameras in the store that caught this that they have
to submit as evidence to show exactly what happened. But

(09:16):
holy crap, heavy.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
Stuff, And I like, this guy was trying to smoke inside.
He's trying, he's breaking the rule of the store. So scored, and.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
So Scorp did the right thing in telling him, like
that's not cool. But what caused him to be so
violent towards this man? Something had to happen because, like
you said, I know Scorp. I shared a locker room
with him for years and he's been nothing but nice
and a gentleman. And he's very soft spoken. He's not

(09:48):
a loud mouth. At least he wasn't around me like
I'd never heard him, you know, cause a scene or
a ruckus or whatever. So just a weird situation, weird
and hopefully it comes to you know, the maybe it'll
come to the footage and we'll see exactly what happened,

(10:12):
and maybe there's more to it that we know that
we don't know rather, and that will come to light.
So sad, sad day for Scorp.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
Yeah. Absolutely, And it's funny, you know, thinking about him
fairly recently. I never would have thought he'd be in
this kind of position, you know, having to defend himself
with a knife in a convenience store.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
I just saw him. Security just sall him like a
month or two ago, and he was great. He looked great,
everything was I think I saw him. When was it
maybe Russell Con weekend?

Speaker 3 (10:50):
Probably? Yeah, I think yeah, I think that was the.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
Last time I saw him. And I talked to him,
gave him hug and exchange pleasantries, and he was fine.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
He's always smiling, laughing, you know, he's like he just
doesn't seem like the guy's shaking people.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
You know, it's weird. It's just a bad situation. So
hopefully something will come that shows I'm rooting for Scorp.
I mean, hopefully something shows that that guy he's a
great dancer.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
I'm doing I'm doing I'm doing this sy.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
I know I'm saying he's got the moves.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
You know, that is one of my favorite ECW moments
is Scorpio's departure from ECW where he turns heel on
the crowd and he says he's not leaving, and he
starts beating all the jobbers and then Taz has to
come out and finally run him down and then kick
him out. That is one of my favorite ECW ones.

(11:48):
That's November to Remember ninety six. That's one of my
favorite segments in ECW history. Wow, because it's so great
because they're giving him the ovation. He's going around, he's
slapping hands around the entire ring side. Joey gives him
this huge send off, and then he turns heel on
the crowd. They start booming him, and then he starts
challenging the locker room. All these jobbers start coming out.

(12:08):
It's great. I love that.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Well he beat up a job or at the convenience he.

Speaker 3 (12:16):
Did I then I'm thinking he jumped to the top
of the you know, the convenience store shelf. He's doing
the tumbleweed. You know, he's doing the four fifty.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
I don't know. Again, we're not making light of it.
It's a very serious situation. But I hope that he
is rectified. I really do. I hope that there's footage
that shows that this guy was in the wrong and
not to score because I really like him. You know,

(12:44):
I can't condone bad behavior. But we don't know the
whole story. So we will continue to watch this as
a new news develops.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
As always, you know what we find out.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
That was the breaking news. But we have a lot
of other things to talk about. You've been chopping at
the bit to discuss this this next segment.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
I absolutely have.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
You are adamantly against me on this one, and I
think we have two different takes on it, and I
want you to give me yours. But we're talking about
the Wyatt family and the and the new gimmick, not
to well, the kind of revamped gimmick. I would say
it's not very new, but refreshed. Maybe that a tribute act, Yeah,

(13:34):
you could call it that, that debuted last week. These
guys what a picture though, Look at that picture.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
It's a great picture. I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
I mean, like such a great picture, Uncle Howdie. And uh,
there's what was it called the six six?

Speaker 3 (13:54):
Whyatt six?

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Wyatt six? I can't why can't I get that in
my head? There are currently five of the first thing
that I thought of the sixth member would be Bray Wyatt,
like you, you had said to me, same thing in
his memory. But then again, I would love for them
to bring back Alexa Bliss. Now do you think they
would have two women in the group.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
Well, there's a connection between Alexa Bliss and Nicky Cross,
who's here in the middle, So that could be a
crossover if it was to go that far in storyline.
So yeah, makes sense because she's connected to both Nicky
Cross and the Wyatt storyline. So yes, but that is
tough to have two female members of the group like that,

(14:39):
So that much you do you know? You do not,
you do not.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
But I would love to see Alexa Bliss come back
in a dark character. That would be great. Of course,
you know when she returned, she's going to get a
monster pop because she's been off television for I don't
even know how long with her pregnancy and now taking
care of her baby. But what are your thoughts about
this group?

Speaker 3 (15:04):
Because do you want to run down the members? It's
uncle Halio is bo Dallas.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
Which is which he has returned, correct, because he's been
like hanging out for a very long time there.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
So yeah, Bo Dallas was a great character and kind
of cut off at the at the knees. Yeah, cast
off as kind of a joke. After a while, it
was super over in NXT. When NXT first launched, Eric
Rowan brought back great signing. I think Eric Rowan's a
great big man. But he's the rambling rabbit. Okay, so

(15:37):
that's the rabbit guy. Dexter Loomis who was in TNA
for a while doing the Dexter like character. Uh, he's
Mercy the Buzzard.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
Nikki Cross is Abby the Witch, which is sister Abigail,
and Joe Gacy is Huscus the pig Boy.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
Okay, okay, yes, very scary figures, especially when you look
at them illuminated in the dark. Very eerie. So I
think horror fans are digging this gimmick a lot, because
that's that's what I'm reading online, Like they're really digging
the gimmick, but you not so much. And i'd like
to you want me to go first or do you

(16:19):
want to?

Speaker 3 (16:19):
I want you to go first.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
I want to So everyone knows. I don't really follow WWE.
I see clips and stuff on Twitter and on ig
and and that's how I get my news. I watched
this segment, the whole segment, okay, number one. It gave

(16:41):
me chills because of Bray and because of his memory
and his legacy with the company. To see them go
through the curtain and have the whole arena illuminate it
with phones for the fireflies and that just it's such
a endearing gesture that goes back to Bray Wyatt. And

(17:07):
that gave me chills because, you know, we talked about this.
Everybody loved him. Everybody loved him. We watched the doc
about him and all the beautiful sentiments that were said
about him, in the way that his brother and his
parents reacted and his sister. So that visual, to me

(17:31):
was beautiful. It was a beautiful moment. And that was
the first thing that I thought of. Then I watched,
you know, them going into each room and seeing like
the bodies that were laying on the floor. Now I thought,

(17:52):
oh God, his name is escaping me. The kid that
just resigned, Chad, the child sorry, Chad Gabil. Yeah. When
I saw him, I said to myself, is that a
gunshot wound to the head like that looked like he
was dead. Yeah, which we all know they're not gonna
kill him off. I mean, come on, that to me

(18:15):
was a little over the top. I feel like they
could have did something just a little bit. But the
carnage and you not knowing because it was so dark
and so creepy, and you not knowing who did what
to whom, and bodies just everywhere, to me, I just
thought that was so awesome. Look like the visual again movie.

(18:38):
It reminded me of a horror movie. Right, And it's
out of the wrestling bubble, and I was thrown again,
It's entertainment, right, WWE World Wrestling Entertainment. This to me
was such an elaborate scene and so cool. Unlike anything

(18:59):
else that is going on in wrestling. It stood out
and I'm like, I want to see more of this.
I want to see where this goes me. Not being
a fan, I've always said I need something to capture
my attention. This did. This captured my attention. Now I
will say I'm not going to sit and watch three

(19:20):
hours of raw, but I am going to go on
socials and pull footage and keep up that way because
I want to see what happens next. Right, But the characters,
the way they look the creepiness one hundred percent. I
thought it was so cool. Now, what I will say

(19:41):
is what happens when these characters enter the ring and
the lights come on and it's guys in mask and
paint and makeup. Does it lose the effect of the
creepiness and of the destruction. And we'd all know the wrestlers, right,

(20:01):
and there's going to be a time when they have
to wrestle and these vignettes will just be on the side,
and here they are, they're going to start working. I
personally would just like to see them not be in
the ring and just do these vignettes for a very
long time and make the build up worth it.

Speaker 3 (20:22):
Right.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
I don't want to see them thrown into a ring
in one or two weeks because it's going to lose
the luster. I want to see the darkness. I want
to see the illumination. I want to see destruction and
not know where it's coming from. So my thought is,
does it lose its luster when the lights come on? Yes,

(20:47):
they have to, okay, but there are ways to figure
out how to keep the momentum going. And if they
don't rush the segment, I think they can do some
pretty cool stuff with this group, but they can't rush it.
They have to keep building and building and building to
a crescendo where then people want to see them work

(21:08):
in the ring, because right now I don't want to
see Bo Dallas Russell or any of that crew in
the light. I want to see them in the dark.
Right If that makes any sense to anybody.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
Does makes perfect? Yes?

Speaker 1 (21:24):
So what is your is that your negative sort of
lose luster?

Speaker 3 (21:30):
They blew five weeks of reveals in one night. Five weeks,
so they did all these slow burns of these little
teases of the little blue blend of screen, ope scan
the QR code, get the little we're coming or this
person there. You know, they did some little mysterious quote

(21:51):
you know, uh darknesses in the light or some weird
thing that they would have the QR code scan that
you didn't. They would say, they gave you so much
in five minutes that it was like what else can
I digest here? Then it was the pan and the music,
the oh my god, it was, Oh it was it

(22:16):
was listen. A plus four cinematography, camera work, special effects, makeup, uh,
projection set up, I mean A plus from every standpoint
except for the fact that I was watching WWE. Every

(22:37):
part of that except for WWE. Now, the Uncle Howdy
reveal was perfect, perfect. That was the only one we
needed was Uncle Howdy. The rest of the group did
not need to have that reveal killing people. They killed
people with Those people in the backstage are dead. They're dead. No, no, no, no, no, oh.

Speaker 1 (23:01):
Dead.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
Excuse me. If you go on social media, people shared
Chad Gable's dead graphics. That's a joke.

Speaker 4 (23:07):
Now.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
Did you know that Chad Gable being dead is a
joke off? Oh no, no, no, But but the fan
base thinks it's funny to say that a wrestler is dead.
Did you know that that's acceptable? Now we can make
fun of wrestlers being dead. It's funny. Now it's not.
It's not like, Oh, it's lighthearted, and we could just
make fun of it. Updated his Wikipedia to say he
was dead, put up graphics to say he was dead.

(23:28):
Oh no, no, it's it's funny. And all those people
laying over each other, Oh they're dead. No, WW needs
a whole new production crew. Uh there, everybody's dead. They
wasted five weeks of reveals with these people being in
each little spot of the backstage area by going this
person's here, and then this person's here, and then this

(23:49):
person's sitting on the box, and then this person's got
his little mallet. What do you do? Did he crush
people's heads with the mallet? Then again, Chad Gable has
got a little shot on the side of him that
did he get blown away with a blast? Why is he?
Is he there? He was in the segment three segments
before with a whole group that was imploding. Is that

(24:10):
storyline now gone? And he's a part of this Wyatt
storyline exactly? But here's why I'm out. Watch it from
the watch it from the live perspective. People who are
there live and you watch them have to set the
whole thing up live. It's you're you're out. It's so
it's so manufactured and it's only a TV product. This

(24:33):
thing cannot be done. Like you're saying, from an in
ring perspective, it's there's so much that has to get
dressed up that it's the mystique is not going to
be able to be anything but a television product. They
they basically you have you watch this right from the
head on, like person filming a camera. They have to
dress it so fast, and then once they did the

(24:55):
whole thing, looking at the camera and they go, we're
here right, go out. Oh, they just don't walk away.
They just walked away.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
What do you want them to rest the sky?

Speaker 3 (25:07):
I mean, I don't know, you booked yourself into a corner?

Speaker 1 (25:10):
What?

Speaker 3 (25:11):
I don't know. Why were they in front of the
television in the arena then, why wasn't that done backstage?
Why should we see them? We shouldn't see them. They
should not be around. They're freaky, mysterious ghost people who
murdered people. Backstage. We shouldn't see them in the arena.
They shouldn't be around. They kill people. They shouldn't be going, Hi,

(25:33):
we're the arena, cheer for us, show us fireflies.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
Maybe they should have plants in the audience that they
just go and wreck.

Speaker 3 (25:41):
Yeah, maybe because they kill people, murderers.

Speaker 1 (25:45):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (25:46):
This is ridiculous that they did too much, much, too
too much and revealing each one of those people. So
so the mystique is gone.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
Okay, so maybe what you're let me see if if
I can give you scenario that you get behind. So
maybe they just brought out Uncle Howdy, right, they brought
they bring out Bo Dallas by himself, and before they
bring him out, they shoot the backstage segment, but they
don't reveal the other members yet. They just show carnage

(26:17):
and each week one member comes out behind Uncle Haldy
to the point where all of the family comes after
like four or five weeks.

Speaker 3 (26:27):
Yes, that's what you wouldn't It would have been perfect.
That would have been such a great reveal. And again,
you know watching if you're watching it live, you're having
to watch this all on the screen in the arena.
But now you had to watch them dress the set
with the little outline of the door, right, you had
to watch him put that out right. Then you had

(26:48):
to watch Nickki Cross crawl yeah through the door.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
Okay, So Nicky Cross was the first one that came out.
So I think the way I would do it is
I would reveal all the members and then Uncle Hale last,
bring him out last, because you know he's gonna get
the biggest pop. Right, So they had Nikky Cross crawling first.
She was the first one on the screen. Should have
stopped the first, Yes, should have stopped it with her,

(27:15):
She's the first reveal. Then bring out the buzzard or
bring out the whoever they are, and then have Bo
Dallas come out last to complete the family. I think
that would have been the best because everybody's waiting on.
Everybody knows it's it's Bo, right, so if he came

(27:36):
out last, I think that would have been a winner.
I understand what you're saying, but I still enjoyed it
because it again.

Speaker 3 (27:47):
Well done.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
I did. It took me out of thinking I'm watching
a wrestling show to thinking I'm watching a horror movie.
I'm watching It's not wrestling, it's entertainment. It just took
me away from the wrestling bubble and brought me into
a different world. And that's what WWE wants. They've said

(28:10):
it a million times. We're you know, we're not just
a wrestling product. We're an entertainment company. Well, they're entertaining me.

Speaker 3 (28:18):
Then they apparently invaded the Pat McAfee show.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
I heard, but I didn't see.

Speaker 3 (28:24):
It was just a clip at the during an interview.
They shut the lights off, did the little spooky sound too.
He's apparently dead. I guess here's another thing, though, here's
another reason why I'm out and you're gonna have this.
You can have a completely other take on this probably did.
This just might be my old school mind of you know,

(28:44):
being stuck as an old fan and you know, kfe
being what it is, and you can be completely on
the other side of this this surface right, hang on,
let me this surface right after raw? And I think
this is a complete mystique killer. This guy took a

(29:05):
picture with them at what a Burger? Right after raw.
Now don't you think these guys should say no pictures?

Speaker 1 (29:16):
Hmm?

Speaker 3 (29:17):
Okay, this as a group after all that crap, take
say no pictures. You can be that's not.

Speaker 1 (29:25):
Well. This is a touchy situation here because number one,
you want to be good to the fans. I get it.
I think the majority of the fans are smart enough
to know that they're not really the characters that they play,
especially in a cartoons type of what. Okay, so they're
out eating so I I understand this, But for the

(29:47):
gimmick because it just happened, this isn't good, you know
what I mean? Because they're all revealed and now it's
all over socials anyway who they are. But you know,
you put a picture up with the creepy five of
them and then this this picture gets up next to her,
It's like, oh, they're just wrestlers playing the role, but

(30:11):
we all know that. But it does take away some
of the aura that it had. But what are you
gonna do? Listen, it's real life. People have to go
eat and people are good to their fans, So saying
no is kind of half Yeah, saying no is kind
of a dick move. But on the other hand, it's like, look,

(30:31):
how look how sweet and lovable they all look in
that picture.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
They look, but I'm thinking they do they look? And
you went up to, uh, you know.

Speaker 1 (30:41):
Right now, if I wrestle you last night, if I
wrestled you last night, right after we take a picture
of us standing together in the locker room, that was great.
Thanks so much. That's how socials are these days. There
is no k K is dead. We all know that.
Old timers try to keep it alive. It's dead, you know,

(31:03):
as much as you might try. What are you gonna do?
Those days are over?

Speaker 3 (31:09):
So my thought is I liked how they did it.
I think presentation everything a plus, But they completely blew
their wad way too early, and there's no place else
to go with it. Everything else is gonna be corny
and I'm sure they'll do some magical crazy stuff and
you know whatever. But Okay, they just murdered twenty five people,

(31:31):
and to me, there should be a warrant out for
Uncle Howdie's arrest. In WWE storyline world, the Big boss
Man has a son that should be coming to arrest
the Wyatt family, you know what I mean, Like, it's
so ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (31:45):
I'm gonna log on next week to do this podcast
and you're gonna be sitting there with a bullet hole
in your head.

Speaker 3 (31:50):
Oh, they're gonna be They're gonna come in. The Wyatt
six are gonna come and grab you.

Speaker 1 (31:55):
Get no. I like my idea. I think they you know,
as much as I loved I saw, I think they
should have stopped it with the sister Abigail crawling and
just let it be her. And then each week she
crawls out and somebody else pops up behind her to
where it's, you know, four or five weeks down the line,
then go Dallas appears. I think that got a monster.

Speaker 3 (32:16):
Are they each taking out one person and it's like
those people become the ones that go against that group you.

Speaker 1 (32:23):
Know as well? Yeah, yeah, theies kind.

Speaker 3 (32:27):
Of exactly and that's how long you could have built that.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
Up, right. I think you and I should be bookers.

Speaker 3 (32:33):
Give us the book, you know it would have been.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
I am excited to see what happens though, because the product, again,
production wise, this was freaking awesome looking. But I don't
want them killing people. Hurting them, Yes, killing them. Bullet
holes in the head. And I don't know what that was,
but that was a It was gruesome. It looked like

(32:58):
a murders.

Speaker 3 (32:59):
It really Gable should be on TV for the next
Seek and Watch.

Speaker 1 (33:03):
He'll be wrestling.

Speaker 3 (33:04):
Yeah, he'll be on like it's a little band aid
on his head. And now think about this. You've heard
me saying I've been seeing the praises of the Bloodline storyline,
and I still put it over what I saw on
Monday from what I saw Friday because it just was

(33:24):
too much, too soon.

Speaker 1 (33:26):
Okay, well you heard it here. Guys.

Speaker 3 (33:30):
Please, I want you, if you want, I want to
hear everything you have to say, whether you hate it
what I said or you love with France, I want
to hear it.

Speaker 1 (33:40):
Drop up, because we're not as different as you think
we are. We did agree, We came to an agreement
in the middle. I think we both agree on the way.
It was a little rushed, but I just just the
overall gimmick I love. I will say that I am
a fan and I am excited to see what they

(34:01):
do next, because how do you top something like that?
You know, like you said, it was rushed, it was
too much at one time. How do you top it?
What do you do? So I'm excited to see where
they go with it.

Speaker 3 (34:17):
I'll tell you another guy that you're excited for, and
that is Joe Hendry.

Speaker 1 (34:24):
I am. You know, we talked about Jordan Grace with
the TNA ww n X team crossover, and now Joe
did it, and I was happy to see. When I
go on my socials, he was following me on both
ig and Twitter, so I followed him right back because
I don't know, I get a little bit of the

(34:46):
mark in me. I get a kick out of when
the younger kids follow me, the younger guys, and I
don't know how old Yo is, but he looks like
a young guy to me. But I like when they
follow me because it makes me feel important still in
the business. But interesting fact, Wwe put out a tweet
like five days ago and say his name, and he

(35:08):
appears Joe Henry is here for the Battle Royal. I
watched his segment and the place went nuts. And according
to what I read, his debut is now WWE's most
viewed X post of the year.

Speaker 3 (35:27):
That's crazy.

Speaker 1 (35:29):
I'm telling you. He got seventeen million views on X
or Twitter, whatever you want to call it, fifteen thousand reposts,
three point eight thousand quotes, one hundred and four thousand likes,
and eight point two thousand bookmarks for that. For the

(35:50):
WWE's tweet about him. When he came out, the place
went nuts. So this crow us over thing, it has
legs to it. It's it's good business, man. Have you
seen it?

Speaker 3 (36:08):
I did. I watched that. I watched the clip on
on X.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
Yeah, good stuff. It's like what else? Who else is
going to come over? Frankie Kazarian made an appearance.

Speaker 3 (36:18):
Which was cool too. That's that's a long time coming
for him because he only had a cup of coffee.
Sure in WWE under the Events era.

Speaker 1 (36:27):
I'm telling you this is good for the wrestling business.
Good stuff, and I'm here for it. I love this
kind of stuff, you know.

Speaker 3 (36:36):
Again, It's booking, though was criticized who's booking Henry because
he was immediately eliminated. Okay, but again, people come on,
they're not going to put over the talents.

Speaker 1 (36:47):
Still cool to see somebody from another again it goes
to the forbidden door, you know, somebody from another promotion
crossing over working for the competition. I love that because
you never know what's going to happen next and and
and it's giving TNA such a rub, which I love

(37:08):
too because a TNA, I'm telling you, they're e c
ub they're the little engine that could now and they're
starting to make their Even though they've been on TV forever,
they're still not to where ww E or AW is,
you know, production wise, building wise, talent wise. They're there
because they their talent is awesome and they put on

(37:30):
great shows, but they're just not drawing. And and again
they're working in smaller buildings, so you know they're doing
they're doing well for what they're working with. But man,
I I can see them going to the next level,
and I love it.

Speaker 3 (37:49):
They always had the core fan bit, Yeah, for sure,
always had a core group. I mean I back in
the day, you know when you work their shows in
the beginning that they had a core group even when
they first started, but a few years in, even in
the Northeast, they had a good group of fans. They

(38:09):
just they have the ability to pick the right arenas
or or venues or whatever you want to call them.
That's the smart part of TNA's business model.

Speaker 1 (38:21):
And and that goes back to what I said about
ae W. They're picking these huge venues and not filling them.
And it's just like, man, you know, you can pick
a four or five thousand seed arena and it would
blow the roof off the house. You know what I'm saying. Now,

(38:41):
the pay per views are from what I've seen for AW,
the pay per views are packed. Not a seat in
the building that was empty. But I know for TV
they were having some trouble, uh filling the buildings. Now.
I don't know what they're doing these days, uh, but
you know the pictures floating around with the empty sides
and and all that kind of stuff. TNA is doing

(39:02):
it right. You know, you work in smaller buildings, you
fill it to capacity and you put on a hell
of a show, and that's the way you grow. So
I love I love the crossover. I love that they're
giving talent opportunities to be seen by you know, other
fans that might not know who Joe Hendry is because

(39:23):
they don't watch TNA. Apparently they all do because he
got a great response. But you know what I'm saying
it it opened you up to a new market and
new fans and that's so exciting, so very happy for them,
and I hope it continues.

Speaker 3 (39:39):
It's not a good thing going. He does the thing
with the theme songs and uh yeah.

Speaker 1 (39:43):
I'd love to see that. That's so funny.

Speaker 3 (39:45):
Interesting. So he did from years ago. I mean, he's clever.
He did one with a big show's theme. Okay, Big Joe,
but it was the recreation of the whole video of
Big Weird. Now it scan like it was just his
face and then it scanned into his face and then
it was literally the recreation of like the helicopter going

(40:07):
past his face. It's Big Joe.

Speaker 1 (40:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (40:11):
It was great, very well done.

Speaker 1 (40:13):
Out of the box. I love that kind of stuff,
very creative. So hats off to them, and uh again,
I just hope it continues because it's it's good for
the business as a whole, you know. And I saw
people was it Bubba again. I'm putting Bubba over big time.
But he put a tweet out there that said, what

(40:34):
kind of wrestling fan are you if you're just you know,
being negative about I'm the don't quote me because I'm
not one of verbatim on this, but are you really
a wrestling fan if if you're shitting on a promotion
or shitting on people and like just love the business?

Speaker 3 (40:55):
He said that with us. He actually said that on airwork.

Speaker 1 (40:57):
Here, but I just read it like, yes, I saw
that you.

Speaker 3 (41:01):
Too, but that I mean to go back, but it
was right to plug our episode with Bubba, our first
iHeart episode. He literally said that quote with.

Speaker 1 (41:09):
Yes, it's true, like you know, just support. Why do
you have to always bring the negative out? Just support?
I mean, you know, if you're a broadcaster like we are,
you have to like nitpick a little bit, but overall,
you know, I think I'm positive for the most part,
and I just want everybody to succeed because you know, again,

(41:33):
I have a lot of friends in this business and
trying to feed their families, and if the business is thriving,
then the boys are thriving, and that's what you want
to see. So I don't know, just my two cents
on it.

Speaker 3 (41:46):
No, I I agree to an extent. You know, there's
I mean, you when you find something you just don't like,
you obviously you know you can say it. But the
people online just it's they go way too far. It
goes beyond having a conversation with your buddy and voicing
your displeasure for a booking angle as you're having a
couple of drinks. I mean, the online people are just

(42:06):
obsessive and it's out of control. But uh, I mean,
you know, it's it's the way of the beast. Now,
that's the unfortunate parts.

Speaker 1 (42:13):
But be a human being.

Speaker 3 (42:15):
Yeah, it's that's pretty much it, really, you know, But
how about going from somebody that everyone likes to somebody
that people don't really like? Right now?

Speaker 1 (42:26):
Well, okay, so you're talking about Goldberg, uh Golberg. So
I you know, we we started a little bit on
the WCW Who Killed WCW, And we did a whole
show about the first episode and you kind of tapped out,
and I get it. It's it's fine. I started watching
episode two and it was basically Goldberg versus the WCW

(42:50):
locker Room is the take that I got watching it,
and pretty much. It was just the boys saying, here
was a guy who just came in, didn't pay his dues,
didn't give a shit if he hurt people or not,
and thought it was real and was acting like he
was on the football field when he was doing like

(43:12):
his spears and his jackhammer and all this stuff. He
was legit hurting people. And they were kind of saying
that he did not get the business, and you know,
being pushed to the moon so early on and not
paying a single due. A lot of the guys had
a bad taste in their mouth about him, and they

(43:34):
interviewed several of the boys, and then they interviewed Goldberg,
who basically says, I don't give a shit what anyone thinks,
and was very proud of himself and what he accomplished
in the business. So were you a fan of Goldberg?

Speaker 3 (43:49):
Not really? Okay, no, not my style. I was in
Madison Square Garden at Monday night Raw the night Goldberg
debuted on Nitro, and we actually had Nitro in the
skybox at Madison Square Garden and we were watching it saying,
who is this Steve Austin ripoff? Because of the black
trunks and the shaved head and the Go team and

(44:09):
go this guy is a Steve Austin ripoff.

Speaker 1 (44:12):
Watched excuse me one second. That came from Kevin Sullivan.

Speaker 3 (44:17):
Oh he said that.

Speaker 1 (44:18):
Yeah, he said that, and he said, uh, he I
think it was who was? It wasn't Tyson. He was
looking at a boxer and I don't know if it
was Tyson. I can't remember in the interview, but he
says black trunks.

Speaker 3 (44:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (44:35):
He said that's what I wanted for Goldberg, to just
be a normal guy.

Speaker 3 (44:39):
Yeah. And we watched it and said, this is Austin
on WCW. But we watched the matter like wow, he
killed the guy. And I just never got into it.
Just that wasn't the kind of guy I liked. So,
I mean, obviously I was an nWo fan in WCW,
so he wasn't going to be a guy I got behind,
but never got into. Goldberg just was even in WWE

(44:59):
just ever my cup of tea?

Speaker 1 (45:01):
Okay, well I wasn't the locker rooms cup of tea either,
because they all kind of shit on him.

Speaker 3 (45:08):
So the nWo did not like Goldberg.

Speaker 1 (45:13):
I guess not, but they were like, you know what.

Speaker 3 (45:15):
But hang on, I'm sorry to interrupt. But Paul and
Nesh talked about and shoot interviews in the past. They
tried with Goldberg. They tried in the beginning to help
the guy out, Like Scott Hall said, he tried to
take him on the road with him and you know,
introduce him to certain people, yeah, and try to get him,
you know, maybe to go to their side a little bit.

(45:35):
But Goldberg just was a loner and just didn't want
anything to do with it and did his own thing,
but got people in his head that I guess fed
fed the beast, and that was the Goldberg beast, and
that's where he just went on his own path and
was like I'm the man, give me the money, and
I don't want anything to do with anybody.

Speaker 1 (45:52):
But you would think him starting at the power plant, right,
and kind of training there a little bit, not much,
but just enough to learn his two or three moves, right,
you would think someone would smarten them up and say, listen,
this is a work. We're not here to hurt people.
The boys were legit saying he was hurting people, and

(46:14):
like Nash was one of them, and he's like, come on, man,
you know, did he not get the memo like this
isn't real. This isn't football. You're not legitimately tackling people,
you know, So I don't know, like I've always been taught,
you protect the person that you're working with.

Speaker 3 (46:35):
Yeah, well, those guys at the power Plant, you know,
were out for blood. So I'm not surprised that I
don't get it really tight. They didn't tighten him up
because I mean, you had mister wonderful down there, you
had the Sarge Buddy Lee Parker, who was Goldberg's main
trainer down there, and what's his name, Jody Hamilton was

(46:56):
down there as well. These guys, you know, what do
they care about, you know, anything but stiff? So they
the power Plant was known for running guys off. But
the power Plant was known for running guys off because
they were way too hard on the training aspect. So
Goldberg maybe he was taught, Okay, be stiff and we're
fine with that. So when he got up there, he

(47:18):
just ran over people. Yeah, I mean that was the
whole thing. Did they talk about William regal on there
with him?

Speaker 1 (47:23):
I don't think I heard that. It could have, but
I didn't. I don't recall that. I just know if
somebody hurts you in the ring. When you go to
the back, that's the first thing you're gonna hear, or
you're gonna get the iggy in the ring like knock
it off, or you're gonna get a receipt, you know
what I mean. And I'm surprised somebody didn't just beat
the shit out of them. Okay, well they didn't talk,

(47:47):
they didn't talk about that fight.

Speaker 3 (47:49):
Yeah, and then it basically got him fired, got because
they thought that, you know, it was making him look
bad when he's supposed to just run him over and
Regal is like, screw that up, fighting back in no
way run over me.

Speaker 1 (48:02):
Oh so he did it as a shoot in the ring,
is what you're saying.

Speaker 3 (48:07):
Yeah, Yeah, I'm just I'm gonna go back at you.
And he didn't know what to do, so Ugal just
went back at him.

Speaker 1 (48:13):
See It's it's just I don't know, I feel like
people like that have no place in the business. Despite
what you're taught. If somebody tells you lighten up, you're
not there to hurt somebody. You're there to make each
other look good and to make money. And if I'm
jobbing to him, okay, I'll take your three moves but
you don't have to kill me to make it look good.

(48:37):
If I'm a good worker and I can sell for you,
why do you have to hurt me?

Speaker 2 (48:42):
Right?

Speaker 1 (48:43):
So, in that aspect, I don't have that much respect
for him. If he was told not to do it
but kept doing it, Like who does that? You know?

Speaker 3 (48:54):
I'm a Shane were Goldberger handful of times on a
couple of shows, and I don't think he really had
that heart of a time with them, But I don't
think it was easy either. But they've they had a
couple of TV matches from what I remember, but the
big one with Goldberg is Brett Hart. And I'll bring
up the quote Brett Hart obviously ended Brett Hart's career
with the kick at I think it was a starcade show.

(49:15):
They had a few that the two of them should
never have been in the ring together. It's clashing styles.
It just to me, it's not a match that I
would want to go out of my way to see
a brawler like Goldberg and a technical wrestler like Brett.
But Goldberg had the platform to finally respond, and this
was his quote if you want to read it.

Speaker 1 (49:35):
The Brett Hart thing saddens me as a human being
first and foremost. I would never wish ill will upon
any opponent or anyone like that, to have an accident
like that happen and end someone's career, especially someone who's
one of the best there ever was one hundred percent.
It sucks. I'm not asking anyone to understand it. I'm
just saying, just leave me alone, dude. It is what

(49:56):
it is. Come on, man, I love you, Brett. Don't
be such a prick that's all grow up.

Speaker 3 (50:02):
Wow, because he Brett kills him every interview.

Speaker 2 (50:05):
He just.

Speaker 1 (50:06):
Did he have to do those last two lines.

Speaker 3 (50:09):
Don't be such a pretty well. I mean, you know,
as much as I love Brett Hart, I will side
with Brett Hart every day of the week. Brett kills
him every chance he gets. He calls him, you know,
he calls him an idiot, says he sucks, says he
was the worst wrestler of all time in the ring,
sends he was unsafe. I mean, Brett kills him every
chance he gets it. This was Goldberg's response, and he
just went to call him.

Speaker 1 (50:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (50:31):
I mean, that's just that's his prerogative.

Speaker 1 (50:34):
Wow. I don't know. It's hard when you have everybody
shooting against you. Now, you could some could say, oh,
the locker room was jealous because he was being pushed
to the moon and they weren't. But you know what
they're saying is true. If if people are coming back

(50:57):
hurt and you can't separate real life from fantasy, you
know what I'm saying, Like, I don't want to get
in the ring with someone who's legitimately gonna hurt me.
I don't want to work with someone like that. And
that's not being a pussy. That is just you know,
looking out for your own well being, because you and

(51:19):
I both know that when you enter that ring, anything
could happen. People's career have ended, people have died in
the ring for stupid accidents, and you know, things that
have gone wrong, and people are paralyzed, and you know,
somebody working carelessly and just beating people up just for
the hell of it. Not cool. That's just my take.

(51:44):
I protect each other.

Speaker 3 (51:47):
Yeah, I guess just what? Never a Goldberg fan, So yeah,
I it's never interested me. You know the one when
he beat Hogan and Scott Hall on the one night
to win the title. Everybody knew he was gonna win
the belt. I did watch that show and it had interest,
but I was rooting for Scott Hall and because I
one of those guys, I just did not want to

(52:08):
see him as the champ.

Speaker 1 (52:09):
He just came off as a little arrogant, like you
don't like it's screw you. I don't care. He didn't care.
I don't know. It's not his fault. He was pushed
to the moon. He looked like a million bucks, you know,
and he was over. You can't take that away from him.
The part that I don't like is, you know, when

(52:30):
people are saying he was legitimately hurting people in the ring,
I don't respect that. And they let him continue to
do that week after week.

Speaker 3 (52:40):
You know. Yeah. Bobby Heenen says in one of his
old shoot interviews that that was the reason he said
WCW died is because whoever decided to beat Bill Goldberg
was the worst decision they could have made. Because one reason,
and this is, I think this is very interesting. Goldberg's
Jewish and Jewish entertainers are a very rare thing to

(53:01):
come by, and how could be more marketable than a
Jewish guy like Goldberg? And I think he's right, but
throw him into the argument of who killed WCW. And
I have to piggyback off that and say, who cares?

Speaker 1 (53:14):
You don't care?

Speaker 3 (53:15):
Who cares? I love Bobby Heenen. That interview was twenty
two years old. Wow, I'm so done with WCW. It's funny.

Speaker 1 (53:23):
Well, and then let's get really over really quickly. A
big rumor going around the internet these days is Shane McMahon,
who is my favorite McMahon of all time. I have
to put that over. There are talks that he reached
out to Talent in AEW about working for them. Now,

(53:45):
how legit is this story? Do we even know? Jim Ross?
Put it over?

Speaker 3 (53:50):
Yeah, there's a quote floating around. Okay, it's a quote
from Conrad Thompson, right. It says there's a friend of ours.
I shouldn't say their name, but he and out of
his way to text me and say, hey, that's not
as crazy as you think. I know for sure that
Shane McMahon has reached out to wrestlers on the AW
roster to at least hypothetically discussed the idea. Well, now

(54:14):
you could speculate who that friend is.

Speaker 1 (54:17):
Yeah, I don't know who that friend is. Who do
you think it is.

Speaker 3 (54:20):
I can speculate that that friend might have a red
face similar to mine, and he might love you. Bruce Prichard,
who else is going to say a friend of theirs
that he shouldn't say their name?

Speaker 1 (54:34):
But but does Bruce have any ties with a He
doesn't have any ties.

Speaker 3 (54:38):
With any W has ties with Shane McMahon.

Speaker 1 (54:42):
Yeah, but SHEE McMahon reached out to people in ae
W directly.

Speaker 3 (54:50):
I thought this was meaning that they talked talking to
somebody that talked to Shane McMahon.

Speaker 1 (54:54):
I took it as Shane reached out to talent. What
I read was he reached out to talent that worked
for ae W about them.

Speaker 3 (55:02):
I took it as that it was Shane talking to
somebody that talked to Shane that reached out to the.

Speaker 1 (55:07):
Well, maybe we're both correct, but anyway, this is mind
blowing because if that were to happen, this would be
such a snack in the face to the McMahon family.
I feel, even though Vince has nothing to do with
it anymore. You think of a McMahon and you think
of WWE for life. You would never think of a

(55:28):
McMahon crossing over and appearing on somebody else's TV. At
least I wouldn't. I would never think that, although if
it happened, I would pop like a little schoolgirl, not
gonna lie. That would be the biggest thing to happen
in years. In my opinion.

Speaker 3 (55:48):
That would supersede Punk going back to w Please that
it makes yeah, I think honestly, no, you know what
that could supersede how about Brett going back to WWE.

Speaker 1 (56:00):
No, this is bigger than anyone any talent.

Speaker 3 (56:04):
What's anything?

Speaker 1 (56:05):
Because he's a McMahon.

Speaker 3 (56:07):
All right, how about this better than vincick Man being
out of WWEH.

Speaker 1 (56:13):
Yeah, because Vince McMahon scandals. We knew his one foot
without the door. I mean he can't really, they can't
show he can't show face and work for that company
with all that's going on. So having a McMahon cross
over to the competition who is AEW whether they want
to admit it or not, that's their biggest competition right now.

(56:35):
Having she McMahon work for a w would be monumental
in my opinion. I would love to see it. And
people are saying, well, he's not going to do it
because you know of his injuries in the past. He
doesn't have to wrestle. He could just go over there,
cut a promo. He can manage someone. He could be like,

(56:58):
you know, the general manager of the company. There are
so many things he could do. He could do commentary.
Just his presence on somebody else's TV would blow the
internet up and I would I would have to watch that,
would I think? Make me watch because I would have
to see it live.

Speaker 3 (57:19):
They may break six hundred thousand viewers if shame.

Speaker 1 (57:22):
I think they would break a million viewers.

Speaker 3 (57:25):
Oh, because they're ratings.

Speaker 1 (57:28):
Well, let's not shoot on them. And that's going to
be the one that we will come after you with
a venge. I'm going to make them listen to this
whole segment, you know. But how cool would that be
to see Shane? I would watch man, I'm here for it.

(57:51):
I would love to see that. But yeah, and and
nothing else has come of it yet, so that's a
developing story as well, so we'll see what happens. But uh, well,
chocked full of goodness. This episode was lots to discuss,
lots of YouTube clips.

Speaker 3 (58:10):
