last thing I had in front of me was all

Would not say arguing. Say, we had a team discussion.

We had a disagreement, and then you know, you brought
some light into the situation and I said, ah, I'll
give it another go, which I've done probably forty two
times the last six years.

I wanted to quit seventeen thousand times. But here I
am Chad.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
So Chad's the baby face. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
I'm not trying to heal anybody. I'm just trying to
do it's best for the queen. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Well, I just wanted to establish on the baby face
right now.

Yeah, well, yeah, that's not gonna last very long because today,
well how are you did I?

Did I miss anything in your life.

So so it was good that I took a break because.

crazy a couple of weeks. But I mean, you know,
look summertime. You know, weather's been insane with rain. But
you know I've been having a good time. Then Loving
Life can't complain.

I think it's great.

This happen in this chair three weeks and it's not
very comfortable. I remember it differently. No, I am happy

gonna we're a little late to the party, but I
thought it would be interesting if we went over Evolution.
And for those of you who don't know, Evolution is
the women's pay per view that they had. When was
the first one twenty was it fifteen or eighteen?

Speaker 3 (04:41):
It was twenty eighteen eighteen.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
So they've waited almost what was it, seven years, just
about to have another one, which you know, first of all,
they're still gunn ho on women's wrestling.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Why not give them a pay per view every year?

Speaker 1 (05:00):
And you're going to disagree with me, I know that
because you've had some problems watching this in these matches over.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
The course of three hours.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
But I feel like the women work just as hard
as the men, and if they're going to showcase them,
why not give them a pay per view every single year?
Why wait seven more years to do it?

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Well, I do agree with that. I agree with the
feeling that came off of the twenty eighteen pay per
view and the buzz that came off of it that
they completely completely lost the momentum that they had and
there was definitely sour grapes. So waiting that amount of
time was definitely way too long, right, I mean again,

(05:43):
we'll get into it, but you know, I can maybe
see why they waited as long as they did. Okay, well,
just one person's opinion. I am definitely in the minority,
but that twenty eighteen show was heralded in some ways
as revolutionary, but also sand bags being a very bad

pay per view. So that's another reason why I did
go away, you know. And it's get into it, but
you know, I have I have feelings.

Okay.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
The reason why I think it should be a yearly
thing is I feel like every girl got to showcase
their talent on this show. It seems like they used everybody.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
In that locker room, you know.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Yes, I liked the fact that even you know, in
a battle royal girls were able to come out and
do something.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
And that's nice because you know, as.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
A performer and a female so to speak, it's a
man's world. Number one and number two, you're fighting for
TV position, for a spot on television, and not all
of these girls get to be on TV or in
a main storyline every week. When a raw or SmackDown show,

so to you know, have a pay per view like this,
they seem to have utilized all these girls, and you know,
most of them, if not all of them, got positive
reactions when they came out the curtain. And I even
let you know, they put up graphics for everybody in
the Battle Royal. It was a little rushed because I

knew for time, you know, they had to get certain
people out there and stuff. But at least they got
to showcase everybody. And that's what's nice about it, because
you might not see some of those girls.

Again for a while.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
Right, Yeah, it's sheer numbers. I'm sorry, it's sheer numbers.
They just they got the numbers. And versus the twenty
eighteen show where it was just a bevy of legends
in the matches, this was actually their rough sir.

Yeah, a lot of them, right, a lot of that
XT girls.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
You know, we're on the show Raw SmackDown.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
I enjoyed the pay per view and we're going to
go over the matches.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
You not so much. The comments that I read were mixed.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
A lot of people praised the show, said it was
a great show from beginning to end.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Other people, you.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Know this one batch, this, this one batch that blah
blah blah, and you get that, you get that armchair
critic every time there's a pay per view or a
show on, you know, the person who's never taken a
bump in their life, saying how shitty somebody performs and
stuff which gets under my nerves. But as a fan,
I understand. I understand. You know, everybody's got an opinion.

I get it. But for the most part, I thought
the show was well done. I like the packages.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
I liked y w W E, without a doubt has
has the best packages in the business.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
We got to see Stephanie muc Mahn, which was nice.

You know, she came out, did some commentary before the

Look at her, she looks great.

You have grossly mislabeled her. I'm sorry I did. That
is not how she was announced. Oh he was announced
as a trailblazer.

Well, you know, and on this women's pay per view
as she should be announced.

Without her, the twenty eighteen show would not have happened.

Well as long as they didn't say the Queen of
extreme stuff. Man, I'm okay, But whatever else they want
to call her.

Back to, just the video package quickly, wonderfully, wonderfully done
with a little girl playing with the wrestling figure very video,
Katie Perry song I have never heard of, so well awesome,
that was a great video, sure, and then into yeah,
into Stephanie McMahon. But one thing to overlook here was

the sponsor was Mabeling and that was huge because you
do not see ma before three weeks ago, when was
Mabelne sponsoring anything with the WWE. So from a Fifth
Avenue point of view, that's such a big score that

that can't be overlooked. From a Matt excuse me, Madison
Avenue point of view, you can't overlook the fact that
they scored a sponsor like Mabelene, uh for a show
like this, So that that was a huge one. That
that was plastered right there on the announced desk. So
that was impressed.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Yeah, and I would bet my life that none of
those girls use in real life.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
But but we got to see video packages of them.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
Using maybe they're born with it, well.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
You know, maybe there using it. Now.

I couldn't tell you the last time I used something
from Mabelene to be honest with you, nothing wrong with
the product at all. I mean it's a huge drug
store brand, but those girls are.

Bougie wait a second. You don't think they got Mabeleine
swag bags.

I don't know.

Maybe they did, but I'm saying like before Mabeling became
a sponsor, I guarantee you I could go into that
locker room and look in their makeup bags.

Come on, They're not on a drug store budget that way.

I think I would have popped more if she was
in the Battle Royal, to be honest with you, I
would have liked to have seen her come out and
clean house and then face off against night Jacks or something.

Okay, so we're going to get into this show, and
we are going to start off with the opening match,
which I thought was good placement. Becky Lynch, Bailly and
Lyra Lyra, Yeah, who I love.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
I love her and I've said that before on this show.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
I think she is so talented, has such a good
look to her. I love the the dramatic with the
the wings wings.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
Yeah, some Irish like meaning to the wings.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
I don't know what the meaning is, but it's it's
so different and I just love it. But Becky defended
defeated them, both of them for the IC title, and
I thought it was a really really good opening match.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
I really did. Uh. Two of these three made a
list that I made for this show.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
They made the list.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
There's a list I made a list for this show.
Two of these three are on it. Well, I'll reveal
the name of the list later.

Okay, Well, can you tell us if you like the
match or didn't like the.

Matter I wrote down for this match?

Bad? Are thumbs down? Becky sucks?

You're nuts.

I think Becky Lynz is terrible. I think I think
her facials are absolute garbage. I think that she is
so overplaying like the tough chick thing. It takes you
completely out of the match. Bailey is amazing, has a babyface,
and I love her in that role. Becky is so

over the top trying to be like a tough chick.
It takes you out of everything that she does. So
I put thumbs down Becky sucks wow wow.

And I thought the opposite. I thought this was a
great opening match. I loved the back and forth between
all the girls. I thought it was great. I was very,
very entertained by everything.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
Oh yeah, love Lyra and Bailey in the math thought
they were great.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
The only thing I'll say about Becky I think she's
channeling her husband a little with her attire when she
came out reminded me of like over the.

Top, like the way Seth has been dressing.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
I think she's taking a little a page from his
wardrobe a little bit.

Speaker 3 (15:11):
Not a bad thing, agree, But I will tell you
she's copying the miss it's the Misses look from about
five years ago. Interesting, well, Miz had that same look
at one point.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
I like the black kind of leathery or whatever materials
she's wearing. All three girls are fit. There's no denying it.
They all looked fantastic. Love the way Becky's hair looked.
I thought she looked beautiful. I just enjoyed the match
in general. I thought it was great back and forth.
Some of the spots they did were fantastic. I didn't

mind the finish, and I'm a fan of all three
of them. You know, watching you're saying Becky's facials, Like
I noticed what she does a lot.

Is she after she.

Either goes for a pin or something doesn't go away,
she kind of like talks to herself and like smack
and like licks her hand and smacks her face.

It's, yeah, kind of like a crazy.

Little thing that she and I've noticed it. She's been
doing this for like forever, so it's kind of like
I feel like she's kind of trying to talk herself
into like Okay, that didn't work, Let's keep going blah
blah blah. So I feel like that's the kind of
character she's trying to portray. I don't know the facials
that is that what you're talking about. When she sits

there and she does.

This and again they trying to look mean, the grimaces.
It looks like she's just constipated. It's just not well.
I think she's feeling it.

I think she's doing a good job. People love her.

Which again is on my knock list. Everybody gets a
pop and her music is way too upbeat if she's
trying to be a heel.

I enjoyed the match, so I would give the match
of thumbs up.

You gave the match of thumbs down.

But I liked it too. If it was the two
baby faces in there, right, could have been a completely
different match. I think Bailey Bailey is a cornerstone of
the company. I think that she should be putting a
different spot.

Okay, all right, duly noted second match we had the
w w A NXT women's title.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
It was j C. Jane and Jordan Grace. Yes, what
do you think about this one? Not?

Speaker 3 (17:31):

Speaker 1 (17:35):
I liked it. Didn't like it as much as the
first match. I really was into the first match. I
liked this one. I thought the girls worked really hard.
I what doesn't make sense to me? And I'm overthinking this.
I think just because I'm in the business and.

Any I feel like when a heel comes.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
Out with like an entourage, and you know they have
an entourage, you need to bring a second out there
with you as well to eve it up the playing field, you.

And did that, but backfired on her with what's turning?
Lake one row Yes, and I knew there was going
to be a heel turn. I called it from the
minute they walked out. I said, she's going to turn
on her at the end of the match, and that's
exactly what happened. So, you know, me not knowing how

that pairing came about, because again I don't follow the
weekly shows, I just saw that they were together and
I was like, okay, there's an alliance there. But I
knew instantaneously she was going to turn on her. I
knew it, and that's exactly what happened. So, you know,
not a clean wind that gives your in a little

bit of a little bit of a you know, comeback
story later.

On, because you know, it's not like she lost clean.

She didn't.

There was an entourage against her.

Didn't didn't love it, but I liked it. Nothing stood
out to me.

I would be like, oh wow, you know what I mean,
Like they did some cool moves, and I think that, uh,
j C has a cool look to her, a rock
star kind of looks. She has a cool look, you know.
And Jordan's just a powerhouse.

I mean, she's just strong af she's so so strong.
But it was it was decent.

Speaker 3 (19:47):
Yeah, it was decent. Here's what I wrote. And next
tea girls suck Blake Monroe's money. Oh everybody gets a pop.
That's what I also wrote.

Okay, well this is gonna be.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
This is probably gonna be what you wrote for everything.

Speaker 3 (20:03):
Jordan Grace should honestly be facing the men's division. And
that's not a knock at her. It's just that she's
so powerful. I think that the moves that she can
actually perform are better suited for more full bodied people, because, yes,
unless she's a heel, I think that her offense is

more believable facing men. I think that anytime she's faced
against like an average sized female, she should be killing
them in three seconds.

Speaker 2 (20:36):
Yeah, well that's not gonna happen.

Speaker 3 (20:37):
But I'm just saying, like that's the way I look
at it. And you know, now again, like so now
with Blake Monroe being the adversary, like the way they
portray Blake Monroe, even though I know she's had like
these insane hardcore matches with Tony Storm where they portray
her as this you know, dainty person with the you know,

the entrance and all the stuff. Should be a three
second match because she should crush her in four seconds.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
Yeah, but you know, it's wrestling, and that's not happened.

Speaker 3 (21:07):
But she's she should dominate the entire division. But I just,
you know, it's too much. It's a three person group.
It's just it's there are just three people put together common.
Its just it They're just three people. It just I
don't know, maybe I'm looking too much into that, but
I just did not see anything in this match that
to me made any sense whatsoever. That Jordan Grace's promos

are so robotic sounding that when she was going to
get the help from Blake Monroe, it was basically like
listening to speak and say, uh talking on the screen.
It was so bad.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
Do you do you think what's that?

Speaker 1 (21:45):
With all due respect, yeah, right, do you think that
they have Blake Monroe going after the belt or do
you think they're going to put her into a program
with Jordan's.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
I think that I think was well more likely she'd
be put with Jordan now.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
But because she gave JC that little glance, you know
before she put her finger in her mouth, like you know,
I helped you.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
Yeah, I think she's put with Jordan Grace now. But
I told you from the start, they any they put
the belt on her the second they can, because she
is money. She is their next big star. And that
was to me. The biggest steal that they could have
had from a w was Blake Monroe. Okay, they just
know what to do with her. That's the WWE machine.

I honestly, look, I could get killed for saying I
wish Vince McMahon could have had Blake Monroe. He would
have known what to do with her. And you could
take that for whatever you want. What I meant, people,
that's not what I mean. That's not what I mean.

Okay, moving on, moving on now, It'll be interesting to
see where they go with that.

And Blake is also added to my list.

Next match, we have the Judgment Day defeating the Kabooki Warriors,
who are adorable.

Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. Who is the team? I
didn't know. I need it in my life? And uh
is it? Czaria and soul.

Ruka Yesaria, they had a cool little thing in their
entrance where she did the monkey flip yes to jump over.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
Her, which I thought was isoway was Oh my god.
First of all, the isleway was very tight.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
I do like that because that is old school.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
I like that.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
No, I don't know that, not with the women, because
good point.

Speaker 2 (23:39):
It's you know, it's difficult.

Speaker 3 (23:41):
You would know, yes, I would know.

Speaker 2 (23:44):
We we had tight ioways, and we also had you know, not.

Speaker 1 (23:48):
Much room between the ring and and the crowd itself
and the barricades and stuff and the guard rails and
when you have women. I mean, thank god, these these
people that sat were respectable and didn't reach over and
grab the girls and stuff.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
But you never know.

That tight somebody could just like boo, grab a boob,
grab a butt, you know whatever.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
So it was good. I don't like that. I think
they should have had room to breathe.

But I mean if you push it out more, there
goes you know how many more ticket sales they're they're
trying to sell tickets.

Well, I don't like that tight.

I don't, I don't know. I just didn't like it.
It was too tight.

But I thought this was a very very fun match.
I first of all, I popped huge. The Kabookie Warriors
are so adorable. They came out and just doing their
thing and their little dance and and everything. And then
for the other three teams, they would show them and

they were they were rocking out to all of the
entrance music. They just kept dancing to everybody's music, which
I thought it was adorable. They are the I don't know,
they're they're like a well rounded team, but they look
so good together.

Speaker 3 (25:13):
Yeah, they make sense, they do, and I.

Speaker 2 (25:15):
Just I found it there.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
Again, this is from somebody who doesn't watch the weekly shows,
so I didn't see a lot of these, you know,
these teams put together.

Speaker 2 (25:24):
I just I wasn't in all of them.

Speaker 1 (25:27):
I thought they were great and I love them together,
so that that was fun. But I thought this whole
thing was fun. You know, the Alexa Bliss Charlotte Flair thing.
I could see down the line them turning on each other.
Of course it's gonna happen eventually, but I think it's cute.

Speaker 2 (25:44):
You know. There there was one spot where Charlotte actually
pulls Alexa Blissy out of the way and saves her
and they're in the corner and she's just hugging her
and it's a cute, little blossoming friendship.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
It's nice to see stories being like evolving during matches
and not just being that robotic I'll do this roop.
I'll no, they're telling a story and me not even watching,
I could follow it and I knew what was gonna
you know, what was going on and what's to come.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
So I did find this match very, very enjoyable to watch.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
You know, the the I think the NXT girls they're
not as experienced, but I think they played their part
well and.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
I thought it was good.

Yeah, when you have that.

Speaker 1 (26:34):
Many people in the ring, you know, everybody gets a
shot at doing something.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
So it was nice to just see.

Like eight girls go out there and work well together.
Because I didn't see any blunders. Really, I thought everybody
did well and I thought, you know, they were advancing storylines.

It was like like repeat, rintse, and repeat every single match.

this point in the show, I was like, this is like,

this was all basically I'll live moork and not.

camera angles on that looked like it hit her in

these matches. Now you don't know what to do anymore
because when you see something spectacular and it's done by

I just don't get what they're trying to accomplish anymore
with with wrestling. And this match is another one, like

instead of being like boom, now you're like, wow, yeah.

think they completely botched it recreating a Royal rumble finished

choice to win that Battle Royal. And Nikki Bella gets

a lull. Two phenomenal workers and again Ria Ripley. She's

going to be the face of of uh not only
the women's division, but I think of the company. I
think that you know, she's going to become like the
next Cody Rhodes. I could see it, Yeah, I see
it big time because the people are behind her.

One hundred percent. And she she has such a like
unique look to her, and it's just.

It's so different than you know, what's out there, and
she carries herself so well. And I'm just a big,
big fan, and I was really into this match.

I loved every minute of it. So it was a
great way to close the show. And again I didn't
mind Naomi winning.

I'd like to see more of maybe the three, maybe
a triple threat match, you know, give them a chance
to get that belt back. I think that would be
really good with the three women down the line.

But overall, I I you know, I I thought this
was a strong showing. I thought it was a strong
pay per view. I really did like you you just
stayed thumbs down, like to almost every match, while I
I enjoyed it, because sometimes watching these shows can be
a chore for me. I didn't find it to be
a chore. I was kind of I was into it.
