Speaker 1 (00:00):
M hm h m hm hm hm.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
There this is between and the spring creation and we
are looking to eyes up here with creating and the
Iheartrat or whoever you could podcast. As always, I am
enjoying cimaccount, Dad, Dad, that's so much. On this Memorial Day,
we are filming a Memorial Day.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
We're Happy Memorial Day to me.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
You say same to you. See I got my red,
white and blue, I do.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
That's what reminded me. I sold the scars and I
was like, hey, it's Memorial.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Day, stars and bars. Happy Memorial Day. Yes, the heartburn
is overtaking me somewhat today after a nice barbecue at
the Chad Star's household yesterday, your invite was lost in
the mail.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
It's always lost in the mail. That's fine. What did
you eat? You know?
Speaker 3 (01:19):
Heart burgers and dogs were on the menu. But it
wasn't the burgers and dogs. It was this pink lemonade
vodka concoction. Oh my god, I had a couple of them.
But it was this barstool vodka. It was. It was sugary,
(01:40):
and I think that's what was really sugary, this pink
lemonade one.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
Oh oh, I see, Okay, it.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
Was I think that was the death blow of the
and the cause of the heartburn.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
Okay, yeah, not loving.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
It right now, but it's okay. And also had my screwdrivers,
and was that it I had I bought a MIC's
hard lemonade tall Boy Seltzer thing, but I didn't have that.
So maybe maybe later, but I can't guarantee that today.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
Look at you boozing it up.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
I'm trying to put out the fire.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
You went it for such a long stretch without alcohol
and a.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
Good group yesterday. It was a good group yesterday, So
had I understand?
Speaker 1 (02:23):
Okay, Yeah, we didn't do much here. We've all been sick,
so we've just been kind of like hanging out, laying low.
Speaker 4 (02:31):
And I'll tell you, though, I've been in the gym
last four days in a row, even though I feel
like do do, I've been pushing myself because I'm telling you,
it's so frustrating again when you're like, you know, trying
to watch what you eat and then you get on
the scale and the scale doesn't move or it goes up,
and it's like what is happening?
Speaker 1 (02:52):
You know? And I have to say I thought I
was in menopause, but no, it.
Speaker 4 (02:58):
Flow came, oh after two and a half months, and
I'm so pissed off because you know, we talked about this,
you have to wait a full year. And I was
two and a half months and I'm like, I got this,
this is it.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
I'm good. And then boom, she put her bags down.
She was like, bitch, I'm back, and I.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
Was like, oh, now, man, Flow comes to visit as
the worst time of the month.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
I was so upset.
Speaker 4 (03:24):
I was like, man, when does this happen? My mom
always said around fifty two. Well, guess what, I'm fifty three,
It's not happened. So I was upset. But anyway, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
Just trying to get in the gym and maintain the weight. Man,
it's hard, so hard. But you know, I got my proteins.
Today we're cooking up some nice steaks for this evening.
Speaker 4 (03:52):
Yeah, so it'll be good meal. And I got that
movie Nonah, have you heard about that?
Speaker 3 (03:59):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (04:00):
Why are you making a face? I can't wait to
watch it.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
I may have made fun of a certain person in
my house for saying they wanted to see that.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
Does Liz want to see it?
Speaker 3 (04:11):
She does? And I said that over and watch it.
I said, I was like, I go, what happened to you?
You went from some of the things we used to
watch to Nona.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
I can't wait to watch. And my husband said, I'll
watch it with me, so listen.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
If you're Italian, you'll relate to it, is what I
was told, So I want to watch it.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
I saw the trailer and I wanted to bury. As
much as I liked that kind of culture, I wanted
to bury my head in the sand for her saying
I wanted to see it.
Speaker 4 (04:38):
You know, sometimes you are such a jerk. I can't
take you anyway. I might watch that if I'm feeling frisky.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
Later, big, I mean Nona, Nona.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
I didn't call my grandma Nona, though I called her grandma.
I didn't have an Italian name for her. But she
was She was right off the boat man, right off
the boat.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
So did she did she speak English?
Speaker 1 (05:08):
Broken?
Speaker 3 (05:09):
Broken?
Speaker 1 (05:10):
Yeah? Bro?
Speaker 4 (05:11):
She came over, became a citizen, did it the right way,
you know, worked all of her life. And I was
only seven when she passed away, so I don't remember
too much, but I remember broken English.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
And she always would put her hands like this. She
would put two fists out and she would say pick
a hand, not allah Taz and R mind you. She'd
say pick a hand, and I would tap a hand
and there would always be candy, but you would put
the candy in both hands in case I picked the
wrong hand. So I always got a piece of candy
from her. So she was adorable.
Speaker 3 (05:42):
Magic.
Speaker 4 (05:43):
Yeah, the little things that you I don't remember much,
but the little things that I remember are good ones.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
So I think this movie will be cute, So I
want to watch it. Don't judge me.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
I won't, all right, I won't. I just won't partake.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Okay, Well I didn't invite you to come watch the
movie it's being played.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
It might okay, Well you could tell Liz it's it's uh,
it's on there and ready to roll for her.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
So and then her and I'll we'll go over notes
as we as we watch it. That's the one I
want to watch. It's cute anyway.
Speaker 4 (06:23):
Anyway, we had an idea for this show that I
had an idea.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
I'm gonna I'm gonna say it's me hopefully. If if
this doesn't go well, it was Chad's idea.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
I'll take the credit.
Speaker 4 (06:35):
Well it's my idea, so you know, YouTube. I answer
all the comments that's me. People say, this isn't her, Yes,
it is, it's me.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
Why wouldn't it be me?
Speaker 4 (06:50):
People leave some suggestions sometimes and and one of our
watchers listeners, he wanted to know where the the like
the origin of the Queen of Extreme.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
Moniker came from, how it started, How I got it? Uh?
And you know, talk a backstory.
Speaker 4 (07:11):
I guess from the like the beginning of my career
up until I don't want to say the end because.
Speaker 1 (07:18):
I'd like to feel I feel like it might not
be over yet. But you know, uh, my prime is over.
I'll say that, but I'm still raring to go. But
I could talk about it. But there's something funny that
I saw that I thought we could do. First. Oh
(07:39):
my god, I have a crackling in my ear? What
is that? Am I getting vertigo?
Speaker 4 (07:44):
What the hell? Sorry, it's very distracting. So I saw something.
I saw an article when I think it was like
Facebook or something, and I was included in the article.
And that's why I went and I looked to you know,
is it a burial?
Speaker 1 (08:03):
Is it a fluff? Peed? Like, what are they writing
about me? And at the end of the article, you
were able to tap on AI stuff, and when I
tapped on it, it was completely wrong, and I was like,
what the hell? So I thought it would be funny
if we brought it up and we put my my
(08:27):
name whatever, and we see what chat thinks of me,
Like what is it accurate? How do they get this information?
Speaker 4 (08:39):
Like how do they pull up the facts? Because I'm
telling you this the one thing. Everything it's I wish
I took a screenshop because it was the most ridiculous
write up.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
Nothing was true, and I was just like, Wow.
Speaker 4 (08:53):
Anybody who doesn't know me and taps that must think
that I'm like the coolest personal life. I was aw
Women's champ, I was all these things, and I'm like, yeah,
I never even worked for that promotion, so I don't.
I don't know how they get their info, but I
thought it'd be funny to see what they wrote.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
Okay, all right, well we can do that. Well I've
got the old chat ept loaded and I wrote in
the chat box, who is ECW's Francine.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
Well you can start with that one and then we
could add on or build up or whatever.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
But this chat stuff is just taking over.
Speaker 4 (09:31):
I mean, I use this to generate the baby pictures
and for the shorts that I did, and the one
picture that I'm dying to use, I was using a
free model, being cheap and I run out of tokens
and now.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
I have to wait the next video.
Speaker 4 (09:53):
But the picture is hilarious, so I can't wait to
use that one.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
But this is what I used to generate my baby photos, so.
Speaker 3 (10:01):
Which is great because somebody was trying to show me
one yesterday at this barbecue from a movie and I
was like, oh, yeah, well look at this, and I
was able to pull yours out from our channel. So
it just goes to show how eyes up hears on
the cutting edge.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
Yes, we are.
Speaker 3 (10:18):
Baby video technology, which to be fair, wasn't a big
fan of prior to our usage of it, but you
know I've adapted.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
You have to warm up to it.
Speaker 4 (10:30):
My favorite I'm gonna give them a plug even though
they don't need it. My favorite baby videos, right y'all.
THEO Vaughn and Joe Rogan. THEO Vonn's face as a
baby is him as a baby. It is unbelievably accurate.
And Joe Rogan's just this big, chubby, bald baby and
(10:51):
they're so cute, So I'm obsessed. I watch everything with them.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
I love them. You can shake your head all you
the cutest thing.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
The only thing is they're just weird. You know they're No,
they're not weird, they're weird. They're weird, weird, they're weird.
The one you're talking about Terry Funk and you're talking
about getting slapped, and it's a baby talking about getting slapped,
it's weird. Well, and like the one, the previous one
where it's you know that one picture of you where
you you know, you're what you're wearing. I know what
(11:24):
you're wearing, and then the baby's wearing what you're wearing.
It's weird, you know.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
I love it. Oh wait till you see the next
one I do. That's hilarious because the outfit that she
has on, it's ridiculously and she's eyeliner on.
Speaker 3 (11:41):
I will be patiently waiting. This is this is where
I gotta tip. I told you, I tipped my cap
to you. You beat me as I was trying to
face swap and they're telling me. The one video I
read was like face swap, do this and that and
blah blah blah, and then you beat me.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
To it.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
I was two days into working on it.
Speaker 4 (11:57):
No, I googled it ten minutes and I found it again.
Speaker 3 (12:03):
That tip my cap. All right, so here we go.
We got who is ECW's franc scene? Let's click the
old what does she do?
Speaker 1 (12:11):
So?
Speaker 3 (12:11):
It searches the web, so it takes from searches right,
it takes Pedia.
Speaker 4 (12:17):
Takes right right there, so.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
So right there, And I saw that one pop up too,
and it says it right. It says wiki right there, right,
it says wiki right there, but okay, right here, it
has forums and stuff. I've never seen that reference before.
And I'll be honest with you before we start going
(12:43):
through it. When I was doing it before we went
on the air, and I searched it, and I didn't
write in who it? I just wrote ECW's franc scene.
These things didn't pop up. It just generated facts. So
if you want, we can research it and see what
pops up, because I that that just shows how unpredictable
(13:08):
this stuff is. Every time you do it, you get
something different.
Speaker 4 (13:12):
Pro wrestling fandom, you know what that is. That's when
they make up weird store. Oh my god, that's when
they make a weird stories.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
Oh click that.
Speaker 4 (13:24):
Did you ever read I've had affairs with every single
man in professional wrestling. In these fandom they paired the
women up with like the men. Have you read this stuff?
Speaker 3 (13:38):
Uh like fan fiction?
Speaker 4 (13:40):
Yeah, they're like fantasy. Oh my, that's a whole nother
that might be. That might be a rabbit hole we
need to do.
Speaker 3 (13:49):
That could be. But just reading it briefly, this is
pretty accurate right here. Well, I'm not retired, okay, so
I think one thing retired American professional wrestling.
Speaker 4 (14:04):
I don't like wiki because the fans can put whatever
they want in it.
Speaker 1 (14:09):
I don't like that.
Speaker 4 (14:12):
So like it says I enrolled in the House of
Hardcore training school, No I didn't. It wasn't a House
of Hardcore. It was the e CW Wrestling Academy. There
you go, like, there's there's a bunch of discrepancies in this.
Speaker 3 (14:29):
Buts Montgomeryville. That's correct, right.
Speaker 1 (14:37):
I don't know if it was.
Speaker 4 (14:39):
It might have been Penny Pulsations. I don't know, I'm
not sure. But yeah, but the.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
Wiki stuff, I'm just like, because again, anybody can.
Speaker 4 (14:54):
Write on on the wiki page, and I've never written
anything on my wiki page.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
You know, Yeah, this is just people adding to it.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
After ECW's closure, Fancy made appearances of the wrestling promotions,
including Total NonStop Action Women's Extreme Wrestling. In two thousand
and five, she participated in ECW reunion events like Hardcore
Homecoming and WWE's ECW One Night Stand. She briefly joined
ww's ECW brand in two thousand and six, managing Balls
Mahoney and engaging in a feud with Ariel. Dissatisfied with
(15:29):
her role, she requested her release retired from professional wrestling
later that year.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
Mm hmm, all right, let's not read all this stuff.
Speaker 3 (15:41):
Your impact on professional wrestling, particularly in ECW, main significant,
as she played a pivotal role in many of the
promotion's memorable storylines and feuds.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
Yeah, okay, all right, so that's whatever. I want to know.
Speaker 4 (15:57):
What they say when you type in type, try and
type in like the origin of e c W. Francine
the Queen of Extreme or the Queen of extreme.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
You know what I mean? Where'd you go? Origin? You're
gone francing Queen of extreme character or.
Speaker 3 (16:35):
Okay, like that.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
I guess just try. You might put e CW in there, though, ECW.
Speaker 3 (16:48):
We should we say e c W fran scenes scenes.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
Why do you have to get off camera to do that?
Speaker 3 (16:56):
Because the keyboards behind the screen.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
It's awkward.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
Well, because I'm on a laptop and I have a
PC behind me that I'm working on.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
Oh, here's the wiki. Okay, this isn't working.
Speaker 3 (17:08):
Wait no, no, no, no, that's the top part. It's generating
right here.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
Oh okay, let's see what they say. They're stumped. They
don't know.
Speaker 3 (17:22):
Oh. Developed organically through her evolving role in ECW during
the mid nineteen nineties. If you'd like, I can add
a short section to the biography that explains the origin
and evolution of this character. Here's a proposed addition to
their early career and rise section. As Francine became more
involved in major storylines and became managing high profile talent,
(17:45):
her presence and influence with ECW grew known for her
willingness to take bumps, get physically involved in matches, and
exude charisma on screen. She earned the nickname Queen of Extreme.
This moniker underscored both her sent role in ECW's edgy,
boundary pushing brand of wrestling in her status is one
of the promotion's top female personalities. Interesting let's go down. Okay,
(18:12):
would you like me to add to this or ajust further? No,
we'd like to add that's it.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
That's interest. Well, okay, all.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
Right, guys, guys putting you over well, I.
Speaker 1 (18:37):
Mean you know he's not lying, all right, now, that's
just the Is that what came up? Because that's the wiki.
Speaker 3 (18:49):
I don't know why I would switched to. No, we
want to answer and chat instead. We want to see
it in this.
Speaker 4 (18:58):
Because I went from the bester with the Pipulls. Then
it was like the head cheerleader because Jane was the
football guy and I was the cheerleader.
Speaker 1 (19:08):
And we were also j R. And Sue Ellen from
Dallas according to Paul Haman. And then the Queen of
Extreme which I love. Yeah. See this is just a.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
So they're editing it to include let's see.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
It's wiki. They're just going back to the wiki page.
Speaker 3 (19:28):
Okay, okay, here we go, the Queen of Extreme Moniker
Underscore brothers. Oh, it's all right, so that's what it
just said. Yeah, let me know if you'd expand this
section further or add more about her specific feuds or influence. No,
you want facts.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
I mean I just saw when I did it. Everything
was wrong.
Speaker 3 (19:54):
Let's go facts.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
Everything came up wrong.
Speaker 3 (20:00):
It might not have been CHAT that's.
Speaker 1 (20:01):
Why it was well, it was AI.
Speaker 3 (20:06):
They're all different though. You can build any kind of
AI like there's other kinds of AI databases. But let's
see what Let's see facts about Francine. Let's see what
that's gotta say.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (20:22):
Also, Google is a good search to just write is
Francine from E c W and then single pops up?
Speaker 3 (20:33):
Okay, I'll go right to that next uh.
Speaker 1 (20:38):
Here, there are some key facts okay, Okay. I like
that they use my maiden.
Speaker 3 (20:45):
Name known as the Queen of Extreme and ECW basic.
Speaker 4 (20:49):
Facts pin okay, okay, so we know my full name,
we know my ring name. They got my birthday correct, okay,
birthplace is Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
Correct approximately five to seven? What three? Absolutely not? H No,
I did not retire.
Speaker 3 (21:19):
You're retired in two thousand and six. Apparently no Okay
started as Miss Montgomeryville but rose to prominence in Night
tenty five managing Stevie Richards, nickname dubbed the Queen of
Extreme for her central role in ECW's chaotic hardcore style wrestlers.
(21:44):
Managed Stevie Richards, the Piples, everybody, Nan Douglas, Tommy Dreamer,
just incredible, right, Okay, all right, they got that.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
They didn't pull Chris or Bam bam.
Speaker 3 (22:01):
Nope, just those notable storylines you Buela McGillicuddy, Doll Murray
and later Ariel and w W E CW Revival HM
HM took part in extreme angles, often involving physical punishment
and table spots, uncommon for women in that era.
Speaker 1 (22:19):
I'm a trendsetter.
Speaker 3 (22:21):
Post E c W appearances t NA right, actually rights
brief appearances post.
Speaker 1 (22:30):
E c w W five if you count.
Speaker 3 (22:34):
My video participate in ECW's One Night Stay two thousand
and five. Yeah, we know what on WW hey, let's see,
but let's do the dissatisfaction with.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
Her role I said to see you later.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
We'll skip that one, okay, see if anything pops up afterwards. No,
we'll leave that one as is.
Speaker 4 (22:59):
So well, well, yeah, I mean it's just I think
I think the name fit the character. I like it
better than the head Cheerleader. Now, you know, I never
really was digging the head cheerleader moniker, but I got
(23:20):
where it came from. But like the Queen of extreme
I think fit me and it goes well with Francine.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
It kind of rhymes oh absolutely, yeah. No, it's very catchy.
Speaker 4 (23:32):
It's very catchy, and it's I think it's accurate, you know.
I think that, Like somebody asked me, do you think
you sold well when you performed? And I mean, you know,
I think I did. I think there were many times
when people thought I was legit dying.
Speaker 1 (23:53):
Legit hurt.
Speaker 4 (23:56):
So I think my willingness to I mean, I'm just
basically sitting here putting myself over. But honestly, I think
my willingness to just bump my ass off back then
when you didn't see many managers or valets taking those bumps.
Speaker 1 (24:12):
And I think I earned that name, So you know,
I enjoy using it. I'm glad I can use it.
Speaker 3 (24:24):
What about the first time you heard it and it
was said to you or pitched to you that this
is what it's going to be.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
I don't even remember how that came about. I don't
know if I was told ahead of time or if
they just.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
Did it when I was in the ring, like it
as an introduction, like just switched it up from the
head cheerleader to the Queen of Extreme.
Speaker 4 (24:44):
I don't remember, you know. I think they actually, I
think they tried it on different people first and it
just didn't fit. And then I got a chance to
use it and it fit, you know, So I don't know.
Speaker 1 (25:04):
I'm glad I got it. I'm glad it's stuck with me.
I like it.
Speaker 4 (25:07):
I like signing using it. I like the way it sounds,
and I earned it.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
Do you think others may have resented you as the
queen versus them not being the queen?
Speaker 1 (25:24):
Yes, and that's all.
Speaker 4 (25:30):
Yeah, probably, But then again, make your own destiny. You know,
things happen for a reason. Pieces of the puzzle fit
together the way they're supposed to, and this, to me
was a perfect fit.
Speaker 1 (25:49):
And I like it. I like using it.
Speaker 3 (25:52):
As a fan watching. I mean, you know, again, we
identify the tenure that you had ninety four training to
night ninety four, two thousand and one. So when you
think of somebody and you, even if you compare it
to royalty, that's a very long tenure. So the Queen
of Extreme fits even when you put the whole tenure together.
(26:14):
So I mean, it was a fitting nickname for you.
But then you factor in the bumps and the physicality,
so it really was all encompassing. So it is the
perfect nickname for you if you could give yourself any
other nickname. Did you ever have anything else in mind
that you would have called yourself?
Speaker 1 (26:31):
M not really.
Speaker 4 (26:35):
I remember the Beast Master. I was just like, ugh,
I just hated the outfits. It was uncomfortable. It was like,
I'm a girly girl, so it didn't fit me coming
out like in those I don't know, like we got
to pick our own gear, obviously, and I did that
because I was paired with the Pipulls who always came
(26:57):
out in the PVC vinyl outfits. So what was I
gonna wear a pretty dress like? It didn't It didn't
make sense to me to dress that way. And I'll
never forget Mick Foley because I like sundresses and I
like girly stuff, and I would wear a sun dress
to the building and he pulled me aside one day
(27:19):
and he was just like, I like you better in
sun dresses than I do in that vinyl crap. And
I go, I know, but it doesn't match, Like it
wouldn't match what I'm.
Speaker 1 (27:30):
Trying to you know. I was trying to accomplish like this,
this team that looked good together and it was just
super uncomfortable and I just hate it every minute of it.
And then when I got with Shane, I was just like, oh,
now I can dress in these beautiful gowns and dresses
(27:53):
and just look like I want to look. I want
to look pretty, but I also want to be bad
as you know, yeah, badass in heels. And that's what
I tried to do. And that's me just taking Sherry
Martell and Nancy Sullivan woman and putting them together and
(28:14):
creating my own.
Speaker 4 (28:15):
Character, which I you know, that's that was my goal.
But then like the head cheerleader came about, and I
was just like, oh, because it's such a double entendre,
oh yeah, cheerleader. So I was like, okay, well, head cheerleader,
let me just do this little thing with the corner of.
Speaker 1 (28:33):
My mouth just to give it a sexual innuendo in
the in the ring and stuff, and that would always
get a little bit of a pop. And then I
just discovered that I was creating a horrorsh character that
everybody hated, but again, it was fun to play, you know.
Speaker 3 (28:52):
They hated, but eventually everybody was cheering for you towards
that end of the run where Shane was about to leave,
and you guys were babyfaces, right, but you were getting
huge pops because they knew what to expect with your entrance,
and you know, you do little teas or whatever you
were gonna do on the rope. You know, people were
(29:13):
going nuts for you, even though at the beginning they
were booing the shit out of you when you first,
you know, turned and everything you did they hate it,
but eventually you were like turning them. Did you try
to turn them back when you heard people cheering for you?
Speaker 1 (29:28):
Well?
Speaker 4 (29:28):
I did turn them back because after Shane left, I
had my brief run with Dreamer, which I was a babyface,
which I hated.
Speaker 1 (29:37):
I shouldn't say I hated it. It wasn't as fun
as being the heel.
Speaker 4 (29:41):
I prefer working heel over babyface, obviously, because when you're
a heel, I mean, you know, gloves are off, you
can do whatever you want and people don't like it.
You don't care because you want them to boo you anyway,
you know what I mean. I feel like working babyface.
You're just trying to approval from the crowd, and sometimes
(30:03):
a babyface can do something and they get crickets and
then it's like, oh, you know what I mean. But like,
as a heel, you can pull off more because you don't.
You don't have to be perfect. You want people to
hate you anyway. So if you mess up out there
and they don't know you're messing up, but if something
goes awry or something, it's like, okay, I'm a heel.
Speaker 1 (30:23):
I want you to boom me either way, you know.
But working with Dreamer, I.
Speaker 4 (30:28):
Became a babyface again. But then you know, that night
when he won the belt and I just gave him
that ball shot, it was right back to people hating
me again because I don't think people wanted to see
me with him. I think people in general liked me
as a heel more than a babyface, even though I
(30:48):
got pops and I got the crowd behind me because
I was still performing.
Speaker 1 (30:56):
I was more so giving.
Speaker 4 (30:58):
Moves rather than taking them at that point. But I
still feel like my best work was done as a heel.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
Yeah, I like you more as a heel. You just
it's me too. That scowl, you know, just the look
when you come through the curtain. You set the tone,
you know, even though Shane might be laughing at people
and jest, you know, your face was always still just
stern RBF all the way it was.
Speaker 1 (31:29):
I could still do that face if I want to nowadays.
But yeah, it was. It was a fun. Oh, it
was such a fun character to play because, you know,
to be honest, one hundred percent, completely honest. Coming up
in this business again, I didn't have a mentor that
(31:49):
was a female. I didn't have anybody to help me.
Speaker 4 (31:53):
I never thought I was as pretty as other girls,
built as well as other girls, you know, comparing myself
to others.
Speaker 1 (32:06):
I always I had low self esteem.
Speaker 4 (32:09):
So when I went out of that uh, when I
walked out the curtain and I became the character of Francine,
it was like I told myself, you have to think
that you are the greatest person that ever lived. That's
the mindset that I was in, and like, my shit
(32:30):
doesn't stink, no one can touch me. I'm better than
every single female and male that exists.
Speaker 1 (32:37):
And that was the kind of I guess that was
what I.
Speaker 4 (32:43):
Based my character on because in reality, I didn't feel
that way. So it was a total reach for me
to play that kind of role.
Speaker 3 (32:59):
That if that makes sense look perfect sense.
Speaker 1 (33:02):
And you know, I.
Speaker 4 (33:03):
Would try my best to fit the bill, and eventually
I became very comfortable in it. But I still didn't
think that, you know, I was the greatest thing out there.
I you know, when I would come back, I would
be like, was it okay? Like I would run the poll,
was that okay? Did I do okay?
Speaker 1 (33:20):
Blah blah blah, not thinking, you know, I was the
best thing out there. But while I'm in front of you, yeah,
no one could touch me. That was my attitude that
I had. So it goes.
Speaker 4 (33:33):
To show you, like I, that's such a stretch from
the person that I was. And I was not that
mean spirited, hurt people in the back.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
I'm trying to help people. If I saw somebody bleeding,
I would run and get you know, band aids or
tape or ice or whatever.
Speaker 4 (33:51):
Like I care about people. She didn't care about anybody
but herself, right, So it was a fun role to
play because it was so far from the person that
I was.
Speaker 3 (34:02):
Okay, great, that's a great answer. I went a little
I went ahead while you were talking, and I searched
something else. I searched. Did Francine ever win a belt
in ECW, just to see if I could throw them
off a little bit. They said, no, Francine never won
a championship belt in ECW. Okay, and they just said
the same thing as they did before. She was best
known as being a valet manager, often referred to as
(34:23):
Queen of extreme blah blah blah blah blah. So I
just said in wrestling, and it said in professional wrestling overall,
not just ECW, Francine has never and it went into
black bold held a championship belt in any major promotion. Yeah,
her career was primary, primarily focused on being a valet manager,
particularly during her time in ECW, And while she occasionally
(34:44):
got involved in matches, often mixed tags or cat fights,
she was never pushed as an inter ring competitor. Okay,
then I just wrote why right, So it said, great,
great question. Why didn't Francine win a bell in EASi.
Here's a breakdown of the key reasons. She was a
manager of Vala, not a wrestler. Francine's primary role with
(35:07):
that's a vale. It just regurgs to states the same
stuff over and over. ECW didn't have a women's division,
unlike WWE or WCW. ECW never had a dedicated women's championship.
There wasn't a bell for women to compete for, so
even if Francine had wrestled more, there was no title
available to win. Yes, her value was in her persona.
(35:29):
Francine was incredibly valuable to ECW as a character and
heat magnet. She was involved in dramatic turns, betrayals, and
intense rivalries. Her impact came from her micwork, storylines, and
physicality in moments like catfights or getting involved in matches,
not from actual championship wins. And finally, number four, that's
(35:50):
how ECW booked women. In ECW, women like Francine do,
Marie Beulah and others were rarely booked to win matches.
They were more involved in supporting or escalating the men's feuds.
Speaker 4 (36:03):
Very good, that's a great analogy, like a book report team.
Speaker 3 (36:08):
But I just I feel like I just did a
book report on you.
Speaker 1 (36:10):
Yeah, it's true.
Speaker 4 (36:12):
I mean, you know, when I started my training, I
went there thinking I was going to be a women's wrestler,
because when I watched Eastern Championship Wrestling in the beginning,
there was usually like a women like one woman's match
on there, and it was a short one, not even
five minutes long.
Speaker 1 (36:32):
It was boom, boom boom. They were gone out of here.
Speaker 4 (36:34):
And then I saw the managers. I was like, I
can do which I don't know why I thought I
could do this, but I was like, I could do
both of those.
Speaker 1 (36:43):
I could I could work, I can wrestle.
Speaker 4 (36:47):
And I could be a manager and blah blah blah.
So when I went there, I was going to train
to be I thought a wrestler, and I, you know,
in front of Todd, I wrestled and I threw up
and in the bathroom after I was done wrestling, and
I did all this stuff. And then I meet Paul
(37:09):
and he shot that right down. He's like, no, you're
not going to be a wrestler.
Speaker 1 (37:12):
And I was like what. He's like no, He's like,
there's no money in women's wrestling right now. He goes,
you're going to make all of your money and your
career as a manager. He goes, trust me, and he
was right because he didn't push the girls as female wrestlers.
Although we did wrestle on occasion, like you know, a
(37:33):
couple of singles matches. We had a bunch of tag matches.
Speaker 4 (37:38):
The only girl that he really would push as a
wrestler from time to time was Jazz, and she would
end up, you know, working with the guys more so, right,
But she was she was.
Speaker 1 (37:49):
A manager too. She was more known as a manager
than a wrestler in ECW. We all were.
Speaker 4 (37:57):
But that's the way Paul saw it. And again, this
was you know, the nineties. It's not what it is now.
It's not the type of fanfare that the women get
these days. That wasn't around back then. You know, it
was out there, but they just weren't being pushed the
way they they are being pushed today.
Speaker 1 (38:18):
Right, So that's why I went in that direction, and
I'm glad I did. I feel like, I think I've
had a very successful career in the role that I chose,
and you know.
Speaker 4 (38:33):
Still getting booked to do things in the year twenty
twenty five at fifty three years old.
Speaker 1 (38:39):
That's it's not bad.
Speaker 4 (38:44):
If I had a bad career, I don't think people
would be booking me anymore.
Speaker 1 (38:49):
You know.
Speaker 4 (38:50):
Oh, absolutely, people still want to see Sane and I
and ECW as a whole. And I am very, very
blessed that I've had the career that I've had, and
I'm still able to work and do certain things.
Speaker 1 (39:03):
And you know, I'm proud of what we did.
Speaker 4 (39:08):
Again, I think ECW was groundbreaking and I think it
was something special and no one can take that away
from me.
Speaker 1 (39:17):
And I'm proud to be an ECW original.
Speaker 3 (39:19):
I really am should be. We did something very special.
But before we wrap that up, I have to just
tell you I added one more question. This I just
wrote in cat fights, question mark no boy, so they
said yes. In the context of pro wrestling, especially in
the nineties and early two thousands, a cat fight referred
(39:39):
to a stage physical altercation between female performers, often managers
or valets, meant more for entertainment and shock value than
actually for wrestling competition, and ECW specifically, the term cat
fight was used frequently, especially by Joey Styles, who would
yell cat fight, cat fight when ever two women started fighting.
(40:02):
These fights were typically short, chaotic brawls, involving hair polling, slaps,
rolling around, and sometimes suggestive physicality.
Speaker 1 (40:11):
Suggested.
Speaker 3 (40:12):
They were often part of storyline rivalries between vallets like
Francine Beulah, Jazzmin Saint Clair, etc. Example, one of the
most famous ECW catfights was Francine versus Beulah, two of
ECW's top valleys who had an ongoing rivalry during the
mid nineties. Their clashes were extremely popular with the ECW audience,
(40:33):
often ending in chaos. Today, the term cat fight is
considered outdated and sexist, as it trivializes women's roles and
focuses on the spectacle over skill. Modern wrestling promotions, especially
WWEAW and others, now true women as serious athletes and
give them more meaningful in ring opportunities with real titles,
(40:54):
main events, and longer matches. But in ECW's heyday, cat
fights were staple of the over the top, adult oriented entertainment.
The brand was all for, and Francy was often at
the center of them. All right, good for you.
Speaker 1 (41:08):
I am the leader in the cat fight category. I suppose. Yeah,
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (41:19):
I don't think a cat fight is degrading in any way.
In fact, I welcome the women of today to do them.
I wish there was more managers out there. I wish
there were more cat fights to be had. I think
it adds an extra element to the men's matches. I
don't think it takes away from anything. I just think
it's fun. I love when people are ringside and you
(41:42):
never know what they're going to do, and there's a
lack of that in today's day and age. I don't
think it diminishes the role of a woman. I don't
think it degrades women at all.
Speaker 1 (41:52):
If you look at fights that are had with.
Speaker 4 (41:56):
Drunken women in bars, the first thing they do is
they launch at each other, go for the hair, and
take each.
Speaker 1 (42:05):
Other down and start rolling around. It's a real thing.
So I don't know what this chat GPT is talking about,
but I I feel like it was a fun, integral
part of the matches back then, and I think they
should bring it back.
Speaker 3 (42:24):
I mean, Phonsie was involved in some, Todd Gordon was
involved in some.
Speaker 1 (42:28):
It wasn't just the male cat fights. There are definitely
male cat fights out there, and they added a different
element or a different layer to the match and the storyline.
I loved them, and I know the fans loved them.
Speaker 3 (42:43):
So.
Speaker 1 (42:44):
I don't know. I thought it was good.
Speaker 4 (42:46):
But to get off me a minute, I watched that
movie Queen of the Ring.
Speaker 1 (42:51):
Have you seen that?
Speaker 3 (42:52):
I have not. I do want to see it. I
haven't watched it yet.
Speaker 4 (42:54):
Okay, my only critique. This is something that I have
I'm not seen anywhere, and it bothers me to death.
Speaker 1 (43:05):
Of course, they're going to use the same actors and
actresses throughout the movie, but it's like she has a
son in the movie and he's a baby, and then
like later on, he's in his twenties, but they're still
all the same age, like nobody aged in the picture.
That's what irked me. I'm like, why isn't she twenty
(43:27):
years older? Like what is happening? She looked exactly the
same as when the son was a baby. That's what
irked me. But the story was good. I enjoyed the movie.
Speaker 3 (43:39):
It was Mildred Burke. Is that who is?
Speaker 1 (43:41):
Yes? Yes, it was Mildred Burke and May Young and
that era and how they were carny and that carnivals
and escalated into the NWA And it was a good watch.
And I didn't enjoy it. But I just didn't like
how like time lapsed and everybody was still just the
(44:05):
same age except for the baby.
Speaker 3 (44:06):
Yeah, that's ridiculous.
Speaker 1 (44:08):
Yeah, I was just like, eh, but I'll tell you why.
Speaker 4 (44:11):
I saw a video of the lead being trained by
Charlotte Flair, and the one role of the woman June
that was played by Camille.
Speaker 1 (44:24):
It was supposed to be Charlotte, and Vince pulled her,
is what I read.
Speaker 4 (44:28):
Yeah, so, And the reason that I read is because
it was too small of a production.
Speaker 3 (44:35):
Well, we heard about stories like that in the past,
Rocky and hul Cogan. So that sucks.
Speaker 4 (44:42):
I don't know, but they showed. I saw like backstage
stuff of Charlotte training her and the good stuff. I
would have loved to see Charlotte in that role. But
Camille did great. I thought everybody did great. The acting
was good, story was good.
Speaker 1 (44:59):
Just the laps bothered me. But otherwise, give it a look.
Give it a look.
Speaker 3 (45:04):
I definitely will. I will check that out.
Speaker 1 (45:06):
It was cute. You have anything going on?
Speaker 3 (45:10):
No? Ready for summer of ees up here?
Speaker 1 (45:14):
Right? Me too?
Speaker 4 (45:15):
Well, before we get into that, I want to plug
one appearance that I'm doing if I, if I may,
my first time going to this event. It is river
City Wrestling con Shane and I will be there and
there it is thank you, June seventh and eighth. This
threw me off. It's a Saturday and a Sunday. It's
(45:38):
usually a Friday and a Saturday.
Speaker 1 (45:40):
So when we were booking the tickets, I had the
wrong dates for my flight to fix everything. But yeah,
June seventh and eighth World Golf Village in Saint Augustine, Florida.
I'm told this is a huge convention. Yeah, so I'm
very excited to be there. So we'll be there for
both days with more entertainment. Banby She's a doll. I
(46:04):
love her, and that's my next appearance. And what is
this bullshit with WrestleMania next year? You have to say
it happening?
Speaker 4 (46:16):
So upset because we were already booked for New Orleans
and now the word is it might.
Speaker 1 (46:23):
Be back in Vegas. Who wants to do that?
Speaker 3 (46:28):
Not me.
Speaker 1 (46:30):
I don't want to go back.
Speaker 3 (46:31):
And we were just there. Yeah, that's uh, that was
so weird, all that stuff that happened last week.
Speaker 1 (46:38):
I'm so upset.
Speaker 4 (46:39):
We need to I wanted to stay in the States,
and I wanted to be anywhere but Vegas.
Speaker 1 (46:45):
Anywhere but Vegas. You could put me in a back
load at Newark, New Jersey. I don't care, said, I
don't want to go to Vegas. Like we were just there.
Don't do it again. Please, I'm begging you. WWA, don't
go to Saudi Arabia, don't go to London, and don't
go to Las Vegas.
Speaker 3 (47:05):
Well, you got your choice of the three. I think
I'd go for Vegas.
Speaker 1 (47:08):
Oh no, we were just in Vegas.
Speaker 3 (47:11):
But are you going to London? Are you going to Saudi?
Speaker 1 (47:15):
I don't think anybody's going to London or Saudi Arabia.
Speaker 4 (47:19):
Stay in the States and pick Lake, Indianapolis or something,
or Minnesota wasn't Minnesota was supposed to get WrestleMania forty.
Let's go there so we could do wrestle Con.
Speaker 3 (47:32):
Come to Washington, how about it.
Speaker 1 (47:34):
I don't care.
Speaker 3 (47:35):
Anywhere Washington would be good. They got a lot of
space for the car.
Speaker 4 (47:39):
Anywhere, stadium anywhere, but outside of the country and anywhere
but Las Vegas.
Speaker 1 (47:46):
Please, I'm began.
Speaker 4 (47:49):
I know the higher ups listen to my show, thought
about it. But anyway, river City Wrestling Con, that's my
next appearance. Let's talk about real quickly YouTube trying something
different on the horizon. The Chadster had an idea and

Speaker 3 (48:18):

talk about all things wrestling and Disney and the world
and whatever you guys want to talk about. But we're
gonna do We haven't done it live in a really
long time. No, So we're going live Wednesday, June eleven.

(48:40):
I hope.
Speaker 3 (48:41):
So if I'll be looking at the camera like Garth
and Wayne's World, oh.
