Speaker 3 (00:32):
Hey everyone, it is the Queen which your training, and
you're listening.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
To the eyes up here with Dream the iHeart Network or
where this podcast.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
As always, I am joined by my coast dad. Dad,
you should just call me a zombie today.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
I can't even keep my eyes open right now. I
am so freaking tired.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Instead of the Queen of extreme, you're the Queen of
the undead.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
I am I him literally sitting here fighting sleep.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
It is so good. I did not sleep a wing
last night.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
I was extremely warm because I'm going it's got to
be menopause.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
I still didn't get my mental cycles. So I'm like,
we gotta go a year.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Calendar tick three months for.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Anyone who gives a crap, So listen. I'm getting hot
flashes throughout the day that it feels like somebody is
setting me on fire and they come out of the
they come out of the whoosh, like a rush of
heat just goes through my whole body.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
And that was me all last night.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
And because we had friends over, we had our friends
Sebastian and Kate over last night. We had a great time,
wonderful food, nice drink, great conversation. But I indulged a
little too much, as one does on these things, at
these things rather, and I'm paying for it now.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
So I didn't sleep then. Thank god my Eagles pulled
through today.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
I know you're not a football guy, but good lord,
this game I had odjited. The whole first half I
was dying. We played like shit, and it was more
so I think the coach's false than the players.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
But the second half we were on fire. And the
last play of the game.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
We were up by one and uh, the Rams.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
Had was it the who did we play? Today? I
can't even remember? Was it the Rams? Who don't we play?

Speaker 1 (02:43):
You got the jersey? Not me?

Speaker 3 (02:45):
So, oh my god, I'm drawing. Let's just see how
tired I am. It. Yeah, it was a Ram. I'm sorry.
It was the Rams.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
We won thirty three to twenty six, but it was
twenty seven to twenty six. We were up by one
point and they went for field goal and the whole
time I'm standing in front of the TV and I'm
putting the maloics on the kicker, And if you don't
know what that means, it's an Italian thing where you
give the devil horns and.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
You're jinxing them. So I'm putting the malloics on the
kicker and I am praying for a block. Block it.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Just block it or miss it, one or the other.
They block it and then we get it.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
We and we run it in for a touchdown.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
We went thirty three twenty six with three seconds left
on the clock.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
It was amazing.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
I thought we were gonna lose by two points. So
I am so happy that the Eagles pulled it off.
It was I was sick to my stomach jar get
those games, you know, when the Mets play. I was like,
we're gonna lose. I'm staying in front of the TV.
I'm so pissed off.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
And I was happy. And then I let out.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Such a scream and all my windows were and my
neighbors probably thought I was getting beat to death. It
was such an awesome victory. So I'm so pray and
that's why I had.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
To wear my jersey with my Eagles and my queen.
Where am I at this one? This one? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (04:08):
They so so Listen. The Mets had a giant lead
in the early part of the season that has given
them the ability to hang on to now the final
playoff spot in the National League. But now every game

(04:33):
for the rest of the season is now a nail bier,
and they're playing the like worst teams in the East Division.
And now you're like, oh my god, if they lose,
like they could miss the playoffs because they still they've
had like the third or fourth worst record in baseball
since the All Star break. But I mean, that's that's sports.

(04:54):
They started hot, they got very cold, and that's the
way it is. So yeah, nail biers of Fortunately I
prefer them to be in October, not down the stretch
against last place teams, not playing for anything. That'll be
bagging groceries for the most part, you know, in December.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
So yeah, I mean, I gotta get the Rams. Looked
good in the beginning. They they were running the ball,
they were they looked great, and I was pissed. I
was like, we're gonna lose, but we pulled it off
at the end.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
So I was a happy camper today. Just tired.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
You know, had two glasses of wine yesterday and I
haven't had wine, like I haven't drank in a really
long time. And when I say that, it's probably been
like a month and a half since I had a drink.
So that's that's a nice.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
It's a good little stretch.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Yeah, and so that kind of kind of hit me
a little bit. And then the food.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
I mean we had lasagnia, we had stuffed meat balls,
we had the crusty bread to dip in the gravy.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
We had salad, we had dessert. I mean, we had
so much food. It was so good. We had our dervs.
I mean, I just I hate too much.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
So here we are, here, we are, here, we are.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
But I did get to watch Russell Palooza, and I
still don't know why it's called Russell pala.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
That's a great question, I mean all, especially for this
debut on ESPN, why they didn't go I mean, look, hell,
it's great that it's Russell Paloza because that's at least
they're honoring something in their history database that they own.
But I mean it's so weird that they wouldn't pull
out some random old ww F pay per view name,

(06:39):
and now they pull out an ECW event. So I
mean it's cool, but it's weird still. I I'm there
with you.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
Yeah, I was sending there pondering like, is there a
significance when Indianapolis.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
Like, what, why is it Russell Paluza?

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Like, I don't know, I don't I don't understand. I
don't know what it was. But anyway, I watched it.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
I'm gonna sprinkle in some Wressell Palooza trivia throughout this broadcast,
so I can tell you the last time ECW presented
any type of Wressel Palooza, it was not in Indianapolis.
It was in Saint Charles, Missouri. So right off the bat,
no connection.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
Oh okay, I don't know, it's just weird. Anyway, I
watched the pay per view.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
I thought it was a pretty good, pretty good pay
per view for what I saw. Again, you guys knew me.
I don't follow the weekly show. I usually just watch
pay per views and catch up with their packages. And
I enjoyed it.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
I thought it was really good. Two matches stood out
for me, the girls.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
I thought the girls match was the best A Sky
and as Stephanie how do you say earlier?

Speaker 3 (08:01):
His name car the car Her.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
I thought they were hands down. I thought they were
the best match on the card. The second match that
I liked was the mixed tag.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
I enjoyed A J and her husband.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Which Puck came out with a jacket that said AJ's husband,
which I popped was very cute.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
And Becky and Seth. Becky and Seth, I know you
don't like them.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
They played the hero roles to a t and I
thought it was very, very entertaining, and I enjoyed it
a lot.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
One thing, Yes, we will refer to her as MENI
Face McGee on these airwaves.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
You call her whatever you want. I'm gonna call her
Becky lynche.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
Meani Face McGee and her husband, Seth Rollins.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
I thought they did phenomenal. The ring attire that they
wore popped me. They had on the things that you
would see at a met gala.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
It was so over the top. It was awesome looking.
I enjoyed it. I thought it was great.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
The other three matches were okay. You know, Cody routines.
I would have liked to see Drew go over.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
I knew it wasn't gonna happen, but man for a
big guy, Drew McIntyre is so agile in that ring,
and he did he did this.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
One move where he just he floated over the top
rope and flipped on the Cody on the floor and
it was it was just like just a work of
art to see this big ass body just floating.

Speaker 3 (09:40):
In the air.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
I was captivated. So he's so good and I would
like to see him being pushed more, but again, you know,
it is what it is, and I knew Cody was
going to win. The one spot you were talking about
was during the USO match.

Speaker 3 (09:59):
Yeah, so this is one that the Bronze and the USOS.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
Yeah, this is one that was getting talked about a lot.
I mean, I guess you got to call it a botch,
but it's one that I mean, it was done so
like it was. It happened so quickly that it's almost
crazy you miss it. But in the match, Jay Usso

(10:23):
swings the chair at bron Breaker yea and clocks himself
and clocked himself pretty bad. He's yeah, he he cut
himself open.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
Yeah, so I didn't know what happened when I watched it.
I was watching it with my husband, and I noticed.
The first thing I noticed was there was blood all
over Braun's back. And then I then we rewound it
and I saw what, you know, what happened, And then
I saw all the blood on his chest first and

(10:57):
then his back, and I.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
Was just like whoa. So did he like, was there
any reports? I didn't look that up. Did he like
knock his mouth?

Speaker 2 (11:07):
Like?

Speaker 3 (11:08):
So?

Speaker 1 (11:09):
I think it caught him on the top of the head.
Here we'll play the.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
Clipper, okay, so, because we saw him bleeding, but I
didn't know where it was.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
I thought, the way it looks, I think it caught
him right at the the like the bridge of let's
watch it again here, all right, here we go. Here's yeah,
so right there at the top of his head.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
Oh yeah, I say it now, okay, damn. So there
were rumors they.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
Afterwards they were saying something like a concussion.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
Yeah, that's what I heard, concussion protocol. But so I
didn't know if that was storyline or not storyline. But
I mean, you get hit your you hit yourself like that,
with the force that cut you open, I could safely
assume they're gonna do some sort of concussion protocol.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
I didn't even notice that he that he got hit
in the in the head was so like you said,
it was so fast. And you know, when you're with
somebody else in a room watching, you're you're looking around,
you're talking to people.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
So I missed that. I just noticed all the blood
all over brawn.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
But the first match I didn't love it was brock
lesnar and John Cena. I didn't love it really, no, No,
I didn't really.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
No.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
How many times am I going to see brock lesnar
f five people to death?

Speaker 1 (12:32):
What he does?

Speaker 3 (12:32):
It's boring. The one thing I did like was when
John came out. He had like fifty kids with.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
I thought that was awesome. That was one of the
best entrances I think I've ever seen.

Speaker 3 (12:43):
It was really cute. They all had his shirt on.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
Those kids were so into that entrance.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
They loved it. Yeah, and they were all doing that
you can't see me and he he.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
Was the little ringleader, like he was like, all right,
let's go to this side, and let's go to the
side and let's stand here, and it was just.

Speaker 3 (12:58):
Really really cute.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
I just, you know, I think for what it was like,
I kind of knew that John.

Speaker 3 (13:07):
Would do the job, but I would have liked to.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
See more from him. I don't think that they gave
him enough during that match, and I guess they don't
have to, but it just left me kind of flat.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
Yes, it's the same, but this is what they did
before with Sena and Lesner. It was almost this exact
same formula where Lesnar kills him and then Seena comes
back and gets his revenge. But you know, I hate
to break it to this newer fan base and this
is not old man yelling at the cloud. I'm just
gonna preface it. Get off my loan John Cena, albeit,

(13:46):
and I am I'm gonna call myself a Scena mark
on this run. I'm loving everything he's done, albeit retiring
is leaving the business. Yeah, so losing is a part
of that on the way out. If Sina was just
gonna win every match, that would suck. So what he

(14:07):
did the job last night, and I'm sure at some
points is going to get a little bit of revenge
on Brock Lesner.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
I don't mind the loss. I just wanted to see
more from John in the match.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
No, they needed that. They did this before. It's almost
like they are doing John Cena's greatest hits, and I
know he's paying tribute to some of his former phones
and matches. This is I forget the Summer Slam. They
literally f five and German suplexed him all over the
ring and killed him, and then John Cena came back

(14:42):
and beat him.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
So.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
I don't care.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
I'm just telling you.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
I still say he could have jobbed, but he could
have did a little bit more.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
Oh with you.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
The kids were crying in the audience, the parents were
consoling everyone one.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
Oh, would you prefer this? The guy who booked it
with action figures and this epic Look this match.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
This guy knows how to work, he knows how to
write scripts, he knows what sells.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
Look at this, he's got a chair. Look at that.
Where did you get this from?

Speaker 1 (15:19):
I saw this earlier in the week. I saved this
so we can go back to it. This friggin clip
has one point two million views on Like. I don't
get I don't know if this this just shows you
the simpleton nature of the viewer.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
But this freaking thing, look at this, it's so stupid.
I just watched.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
Oh my gosh, this is ridiculous. But yeah, one point
two million views on X.

Speaker 3 (15:53):
I have to say, I I like.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
I like brock Lesnar's hair and that clipped than I
did at the paper Feld.

Speaker 3 (16:04):
His hair's out of control.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
Man, I love Lesnar either. Everything this guy does I
think is impactful. I think it makes him look like
the monster that he is in real life. Now, I
will also say this, the people who are still throwing
their comments out there about Brock even being there, they
need to pipe down. He's not going anywhere. You can

(16:28):
put up every sign you want in the crowd, you
can take the social media, you can do whatever the
hell you want. He's not going anywhere. He's a money maker.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
He like his hair.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
I think his hair's badass. I love it.

Speaker 3 (16:42):
You like the curls Shirley Temple curl.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
Yes, I think that's awesome. Now, this is also speaking
from one long haired individual to another telling me something.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
So he's not going anywhere, So everybody needs to pipe down.
Do you think Becky Lynch is gonna leave the company
anytime soon? No? So why are you allowed to say
what you say? But everybody else can have an opinion?

Speaker 1 (17:04):
Microphone, video camera.

Speaker 3 (17:09):
Everybody can do a microphone and a video camera.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
And that's the same. That's and that's the shame where
we're at right now in the world.

Speaker 3 (17:17):
Exactly exactly.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
That is a damn.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
I believe it.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
I am a voice, you.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
Are a voice.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
But no, but still all I can see, I mean,
I'm looking for the reviews of the match. I'm looking.
It was the picture. We know, we know what you did,
and this and that. It's like, guess what ESPN is
where you're watching this thing now? They want brock Lesnar,
they want the names. And as I watched Triple H
and the post show, saying, oh, all the people that

(17:50):
are trying to call me to come back, and everybody
wants to come home and blah blah blah blah blah.
They all want a piece of the pie, and ESPN
wants to give the pie a brock Lesner.

Speaker 2 (18:01):
Look, I am not denying that he is a force
to be reckoned with. He's huge, he's a monster. His
presence alone makes him worthy to be on that roster.
All I said was I wanted to see more from John.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
In that match.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
I just think he was just it was like a
squash to me. Even when he had offense, there was
barely a cell, which I guess he always does because
he's brock Lesnar.

Speaker 3 (18:30):
But I just wanted to.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
See a little I thought it, just a little more
would have made me happy.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
You can be very happy, just as happy as I
was when they showed they pulled an old clip out
of an old tool out of the ww playbook, crying,
finding the kids crying in the crowd. Right, Oh my god. Look, wow,
dad's laughing at him this one. This kid can't handle him.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
That was with the eye roll.

Speaker 1 (19:04):
Oh that was beautiful.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
They love John Cena. Now the whole time, I'm saying,
should he kept them heal?

Speaker 3 (19:13):
Should have kept them heal? I hate I hate baby faith.

Speaker 2 (19:16):
With the passion, but I just wanted to see more.
I wanted to see more from him during this match.
So this was my least favorite. I'm sorry, Wow, this
is the one I was interested in the most.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
That's why you and I are like oil and water.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
You know, I actually lie because I think the next
match was this the women's match? The second match? No okay,
oh yeah yeah now this next match, this to me,
should have been on the pre show. I know, this
was the where the jay Uso spot? Was they the
tag match? I mean good, it's this is just to me,

(19:54):
it's lost on this card. I know you gotta have
everything like in a row. This is this there should
have been the first match on the show. I just
don't know how you follow up seeing a lessner with
this match.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
I was fine with it because I wasn't thrilled with
the first match. They wanted a hot You always want
a hot opener, right, I always want a hot opener.
But for me, I just I want it more from it.
So I kind of felt like I was jypped.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
You know.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
I don't know, And it's not because I want John
Cena to go over. I get it.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
I know how the business works. I just wanted to
see just a little bit more from him during this match,
and I just felt like it was just all Lesner.

Speaker 3 (20:41):
And we get it. He's a monster, He's a beast.
He's like larger than life. I understand that.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
But you know, sometimes little Spike Dugley would go in
and the big monster would sell.

Speaker 3 (20:53):
For him on occasion.

Speaker 2 (20:58):
On occasion, doesn't it won't kill the gimmick to just,
you know, be a little vulnerable once in a while.

Speaker 3 (21:04):
That's all I'm saying. I can feel you, you know.
But you know, overall, I thought it was good.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
One of the biggest things for me was Stephanie.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
McMahon, Oh boy, yes, I mean.

Speaker 2 (21:25):
They're announcing and do they do it this early usually
for like the following year.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
I have never, so this is we're in September. I
want to say the earliest I've ever seen it announced,
could possibly be November, you know, maybe like maybe Survivor
series time was when they've done it as the earliest.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
Well for those who don't know what the hell we're
talking about. Stephen Nick McMahon is the first inductee into
the twenty twenty six WWE Hall of Fame. See of
twenty twenty six Undertaker came out and just basically just
put her over and.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
Her facial I mean was like what me? What? And
I said, is she gonna cry? Like what is she
going to? Because she had this weird smile on her face.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
Like she always smile on her face. She always does.

Speaker 2 (22:28):
And I there was a post says the Undertaker announced
Stephanie McMahon's induction into the twenty twenty six ww Hall
of Fame, And some of the comments just made me laugh.

Speaker 3 (22:40):
Hold on. Some of them were very positive.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
You know, did he apologize to her for kidnapping her
twenty six years ago?

Speaker 1 (22:50):
Saw that a few times?

Speaker 2 (22:52):
What else was there there was? Let's see, oh there
was no offense to Stephanie. But how does she make
it to the Hall of Fame? Before Jim Cornett and
The Midnight Express.

Speaker 3 (23:06):
Relax, he's very mad. This one says she deserves it.
She deserves it.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
Triple H inducting his whole family into the Hall of Fame.
Smiley face? Why are they announcing these Hall of Fame inductees?
In September, she got into the Hall of Fame before
her father. People are asking do you think her father
will be there? Do you think her father will induct her?

Speaker 1 (23:37):
He will be there?

Speaker 3 (23:38):
Do you think he will be there? Okay?

Speaker 1 (23:40):
One hundred?

Speaker 2 (23:42):
This This one says your crew is so embarrassing. Stephanie
had that look on her face, like, what the hell
is going on here? More nepotism? It was funnier when
he tried to sacrifice her. I don't know, just some
of these things were making me there. Stephanie's facial expression

(24:03):
is so devilish.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
I got the clip right here if you want to
watch the clip.

Speaker 3 (24:09):
This segment was super cringe.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
I mean that I lean on that one. I think
it was cringe, But I mean, you know, what are
you gonna do here? All right, we'll pick it up
right here, I said, are you ready.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
Ready for?

Speaker 2 (24:29):
What?

Speaker 3 (24:30):
Does she even know?

Speaker 4 (24:31):
Because it is my esteemed honor to be able to
induce you as the first member in the class of twenty.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
W same, Are you serious? Take her? Take her serious?

Speaker 2 (25:01):
Me?

Speaker 3 (25:01):
What can you do? That stuff?

Speaker 1 (25:06):
What millionaires? Millionaires posturing millionaires? Another day, money.

Speaker 3 (25:20):
Rubbing against money in this cliff.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
It's so great, But this is the door to open.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
Do you think she knew? Do you guys, do.

Speaker 2 (25:32):
You think she was stunned by the news from Taker?
Do you think that she knew that Taker was even
going to come out?

Speaker 1 (25:42):
What I'm guessing is that she probably knew there was
a segment coming up with the Undertaker and that they
were Yes, she knew, she absolutely knew.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
Was she ready? Chad? Is the question?

Speaker 1 (25:55):
Are you ready? I bet you? Okay, let's play Devil's
Advocate on this is what she didn't know. She knew
she was going in. Maybe she didn't know they were
announcing it at Russell Paluza, her favorite ECW. Now listen,
she is the former owner of ECW.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
The fake ECW, not ThEC This is.

Speaker 1 (26:19):
The former co leader of the Alliance. We're talking.

Speaker 3 (26:23):
This is exhausting.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
I'm sorry. I had mentioned somebody do you think she knew?
And they were like, no, Look, at Look at her face.
She's about to cry. I was like, she's an actress,
you don't think you're belief and then they had it.

Speaker 3 (26:42):
Look at her face.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
She's being sacrificed in this picture by a very mean undertaker,
Paul Bearer.

Speaker 3 (26:50):
This is great, good times, good memory, Steph. You knew
she was going to get in eventually.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
I mean again, it's it's who you know, It's who
the office wants in there.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
What's the second part of who you know? Line who
you know and who you was, who.

Speaker 3 (27:12):
You're sleeping with. Maybe I don't know.

Speaker 1 (27:14):
I thought it was who you know, who you below?

Speaker 3 (27:17):
Oh god, well that.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
To now listen. Let me let me just say my piece.
I think Stephanie McMahon was a tremendous talent.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
I really do. I I have nothing.

Speaker 2 (27:29):
I never met her because when I worked there, she
was on maternity leave, so I never crossed the pants
with her. But I always admired her work. I thought
she cut a great promo. She's still not my favorite McMahon.
She will always be my number one.

Speaker 3 (27:45):
Let's just get that out of the way.

Speaker 2 (27:48):
But I mean, she deserves this as much as any
other person does that's been in the you know, Hall
of Fame already, She's contributed just because she's a McMahon.
If they said, Okay, Linda.

Speaker 3 (28:01):
McMahon's going, I'll be like, all right, wait a minute,
Like what did Linda do? Really? You know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (28:07):
But Stephanie was an on air talent for years and
also contributed behind the scenes, so I don't really have a.

Speaker 3 (28:15):
Problem with this. I just like the way they did.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
Like I saw a split screen and it was it
was the segment we just saw, and it was Triple
H reacting to her.

Speaker 3 (28:27):
Being put in, and He's just sitting there like smiling.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
And I'm thinking, oh yeah, and then like everybody around
him starts clapping, and then he starts clapping, and I'm
thinking to myself, they didn't have a pow wow before this,
you know, Like I think she knew, but maybe it's
like a husband's love gesture, and maybe he was just

(28:52):
doing something nice. I don't know, surprising her with this
make her feel good? You know, I think she knew.

Speaker 3 (29:00):
It's just me. Are you crying a single tear? I am?

Speaker 1 (29:03):
How funny is it? When I worked at WWE, that's
when Stephanie was around the production office, because she was
on maternity leave, so she would pop around the production office,
because she did stop and by to get her lunch
at the deli that was around the corner from the studio.
And that's the only time I never met her, but

(29:25):
I saw her, never met her physically shake her hand,
but I saw her with my own two eyes in person,
because she was on maternity leave and not on the road.
How funny is that. But listen, all these things we
talk about, the Hall of Fame, it opens the door
for one man to be back in the arena. And

(29:49):
I'm telling you he'll be there. Yeah, he'll whether or
not now, Okay, whether or not now he's in the crowd.

Speaker 2 (30:01):
I mean, time will tell you. Look, it's a long
ways away. A lot had happened. He could be in jail,
for all we know.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
He could be He could be via.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
Satellite from a prison in Connecticut or wherever. I don't
know where he would be held because we got two
court cases going on. So we got the car wreck
and we got the Janelle Grant thing. So who knows
where Vince is gonna be in a less than a
year's time, you know, But they did run a very

(30:33):
nice package at the beginning of Wressell Paloza about the
ESPN partnership and stuff that, you know, the highlighted like
different people in sports and everything comes back to wrestling,
and Triple H did like a little speech and they
showed clips of Vents but from back in the day,

(30:56):
and somebody had made a comment online that they had
hadn't been using Vincent clips. So this is like the
first time we've actually seen him on a WWE program
since everything went down, So, I, you know, coincidence maybe,
I don't know. I just don't think that he will

(31:19):
ever hold a position above Triple H and Stephanie and
you know, before anytime in the near future wherever.

Speaker 3 (31:35):
Again, whether they bring him back is even I mean,
could you see.

Speaker 2 (31:40):
That bringing him back as a consultant and going back
to the Vince error instead of all the forward steps
that they've taken now, I don't see any of that happening.

Speaker 3 (31:58):
Reason. I don't know, Mac listen.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
I am a Vince McMahon character fan. He was one
of the best heels ever. We've talked about this several times,
like when he.

Speaker 3 (32:10):
Did that stupid strut, you knew something was going down.

Speaker 2 (32:14):
I loved watching him. I'm not a fan of you know,
the person. But again, I can separate those two, right,
I've said that a million times. You can't take away
the fact that he was a tremendous talent. I'll stand
by that until I die. But I don't think he

(32:36):
will ever come back in any position of power.

Speaker 3 (32:39):
I really don't.

Speaker 2 (32:40):
So we'll see if he inducts, or will see if
he's just there, or we'll see if they doesn't. You know,
they might not even ever mention him again, who knows.
But it was weird to see him in the package.

Speaker 1 (32:54):
So would you say that stood out the most of
the whole entire Recipalooza event was to Stephanie Hall of
Fame announcement because again, I mean, the aj Lee CM
punk entrance has been getting a ton of play, you know,
and she looked great in the ring. From what I saw,
she looked, you know, like she had skipped the beat.

(33:18):
But does that kind of secondary announcement overlook what was
done in the ring Saturday night?

Speaker 2 (33:26):
Yeah, I think it was more for me, like it
was more of a shock because, like you said, they
don't do the announcements this early. Usually they wait a little,
you know, till a little later in the year, So
it was kind of odd that they just pulled this
out and was like, hey, Stephanie's going in the Hall
of Fame, Like I didn't expect it. So everything else, Like,

(33:50):
you knew aj was coming. You probably knew she was
going to go over, you knew what was going to
happen in the brock Lesnar John Cena match. You knew
Cody was going to retain the title. I didn't know
Stephanie was going to be in the twenty twenty six
Class of twenty twenty six.

Speaker 3 (34:06):
Hall of Fame, you know what I mean? Like that
was a shock to me.

Speaker 1 (34:11):
Okay, now I have a point of a counterpoint. What
that is? Remember what I said like three weeks ago.
Should they have saved aj for the show and not
had her come out on anything before?

Speaker 3 (34:26):
Yeah, we talked about that already.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
But after watching the show now and seeing that the
biggest shock of the night was an announcement about somebody
going into the Hall of Fame, why not just hold
aj Lee off until that and hopefully draw people to
buy this ESPN package. I don't get that.

Speaker 2 (34:44):
I don't know, I mean, couldn't we have learned about
Stephanie on raw.

Speaker 1 (34:48):
Yeah, we have to learn about her.

Speaker 3 (34:50):
At Russell Bulouse. I don't know. It was just it
was It wasn't shocking, like oh my god.

Speaker 2 (34:58):
It was just like, oh wow, why why are they
doing this now on this night, this early in the year.
That's the way I took it. But I'm not hating
on steph either. I think she deserves it, and I
am a Stephanie Mingham fan. I just think she knew
about it ahead of time. And I don't know why
they did it the way they did it, you know,

(35:22):
So I don't know. I think I also think Triple
eighth should have told her and not Undertaker.

Speaker 1 (35:28):
No, that would have been I think that would have
gone over a lot worse.

Speaker 3 (35:32):
I think it would have been cute.

Speaker 1 (35:33):
I think it would have gone.

Speaker 3 (35:35):
Shu, you're could be in the class of twenty twenty six.

Speaker 1 (35:40):
Yeah, I think that would have been shit on so dramatically.
Let me give you this little piece of Wressell Palooza
trivia while we're still.

Speaker 3 (35:49):
Here another remember a damn thing.

Speaker 1 (35:52):
No, no, no, I'm not asking you a trivia question yet.
This is just a little piece of Oh, okay, okay,
did you know no I did. The last Wressell Palooza
pay per view to be broadcast on an actual pay
per view was Wressell Palooza nineteen ninety eight. That was

(36:16):
the only Wressell Palooza ever to be broadcast on a
pay per view.

Speaker 3 (36:22):
Oh, so the other ones were for like the video
or correct?

Speaker 1 (36:27):
Yeah, including the last one, which I'm going to ask
you about as a trivia question before we go off
the air. Now, do you realize that you know, they'd
share facts all the time on television and during the matches.
Why didn't you get the credit for being in the
main event of the last Wressell Palooza pay per view?
Why didn't they say shout out to the Queen of
Extreme Francine for being in the main event of the

(36:50):
last Wressell Palooza pay per view.

Speaker 2 (36:52):
Well, they would have to credit everybody that was in
the last match, wouldn't they.

Speaker 1 (36:56):
Yeah, but during the women's match, welcome with us shouting
out some of the great in wrestling history. How about
you get a shout out the Queen of fran scene.

Speaker 3 (37:04):
How about you keep dreaming.

Speaker 1 (37:06):
Saving the franchise's life in Wressell Palooza in ninety eight,
How about that.

Speaker 2 (37:10):
I'm telling you, man, they're missing the boat that they're
they're dropping the ball by not putting us over.

Speaker 3 (37:17):
I don't get it. I don't know they what do
they have to put us over for? They don't care.

Speaker 1 (37:23):
They love wrestling history.

Speaker 3 (37:25):
They couldn't care that wrestling history when it's theirs. They
don't care about us.

Speaker 5 (37:30):
Come on, Hey didn't even put over the fact that
Russell Palooza was from ECW, So why would they Why
would they reference e c.

Speaker 2 (37:39):
W talent during the show when they didn't even tell
us where the name came from.

Speaker 1 (37:44):
So they did not do that on television, But if
you follow the WWE Vault on YouTube, you would have
been able to watch Rob Van Dam versus Saboo from
Wressell Palloza eight. That was the only e c W
match they put up from wrest.

Speaker 3 (38:05):
Come on, now, seriously, they're not going to put over
the name. They're not going to put over the talent.

Speaker 1 (38:13):
Why they listen? I know they listen to us. So
I'm just telling you. I tried to convince.

Speaker 3 (38:21):
Can you hear it? Wait? Did I turn it up?

Speaker 1 (38:25):
There? You turn up your dial?

Speaker 3 (38:28):
Yeah? No, it's it's it is what it is.

Speaker 1 (38:31):
What can you do?

Speaker 3 (38:32):
I hate that expression. What does that mean? It is
what it is?

Speaker 1 (38:37):
Why do I say that that is a weird any
have anything else to cover on the pay per view before?

Speaker 2 (38:42):
Overall, I did enjoy it, uh, Like I said, my
favorite match was the women's match for the vacant Belt,
which Sephanie got.

Speaker 1 (38:53):
Well, that was my favorite.

Speaker 3 (38:54):
And my least favorite match was Brock versus John. She
does have a big plump. But I must say that.

Speaker 1 (39:05):
I saw this earlier today because I just laughed at
it because I mean, like, what are you going to
do with that?

Speaker 5 (39:10):
Well self, and if you watch this thing, you're going
to be mad because it's Babyface versus Babyface And at
the end they they hug, they kiss, they shake hands,
they bow, they get on their knees and all this
good stuff.

Speaker 3 (39:24):
So you don't like that, you don't like.

Speaker 1 (39:26):
That, I don't. I don't like that. I will I
want to check out for everybody. I do want to
check out the match in fol though, because yeah, I
heard it. I heard very good things. Of course, I've
had the the the listeners reach out and tell me
I'm sleeping on EO Sky.

Speaker 2 (39:42):
You know, Sky's fantastic and she does a lot during
this match she worked that both of the girls did.
There's nothing I can take away except for the fact
that they both worked really, really hard. And I know
the office is really high on Stephanie and the fans,
but EO got such a great reaction to and and

(40:04):
she had a couple high risk maneuvers that I was
gasping at.

Speaker 3 (40:09):
So you really need to watch it.

Speaker 1 (40:10):
Yeah, I will check it out. I will.

Speaker 3 (40:13):
The whole card was was the ladies, so kudos to them.

Speaker 1 (40:16):
Good yes, good work. All right, here's your trivia question. Okay,
I'm gonna give you some hints so I can tap
into the memory a little bit more.

Speaker 3 (40:24):
Don't give me hints yet, just really, we'll.

Speaker 1 (40:25):
Give me the facts. Okay. Wrestle Palooza two thousand Okay
was the fourth Wrestle Palooza produced by e CW. However,
it was broadcast over two episodes of ECW Television. Okay,
the April twenty first ECW on TNN and the April

(40:47):
twenty third Hardcore TV.

Speaker 3 (40:50):
Okay, Okay, you.

Speaker 1 (40:55):
Were involved in a tag team match on this show. Okay,
in the corner of a tag team. I will tell
you the show. You were on You were on ECW
on TNN the April twenty first show. Of course I was.

Speaker 3 (41:11):
It was the premium show.

Speaker 1 (41:13):
Okay, Like what was the match and who were the participants?

Speaker 3 (41:22):
So it was the year two thousand?

Speaker 1 (41:25):
It was April twenty first, two thousand, April twenty first.

Speaker 3 (41:33):
Two thousand? I, oh my god?

Speaker 1 (41:42):
Was it.

Speaker 3 (41:44):
PJ and Rhino?

Speaker 1 (41:47):
Give me what you think the match is?

Speaker 3 (41:49):
I can't even remember.

Speaker 1 (41:51):
Was it two sides?

Speaker 2 (41:52):
So the.

Speaker 1 (41:54):
Who you're with and the opponents?

Speaker 3 (41:56):
Am I with PJ and Rhino against? Oh?

Speaker 2 (41:59):
My god, I don't know Jerry Lynn, Uh, Jerry Lynn
and shit, I'm wrong. I don't remember. Jerry Lynn wouldn't
be Samman? Who was?

Speaker 1 (42:16):
Who was it?

Speaker 3 (42:17):
I don't now. I don't even remember what the what
this is?

Speaker 1 (42:20):
All right?

Speaker 3 (42:21):
Of course?

Speaker 1 (42:21):
Here are your results? My Babyface on the e CW
on TNN and April forty first, two thousand. What did
I do in a match for the e CW Tag
Team Championship and Tommy? In a whopping four minutes and
six seconds, the Impact Players defeated the team of Raven

(42:46):
and Mikey Whipwreck with the yes I have no idea,
no yeah, and the Impact Players were the champions. What,
so we're gonna have to go back and watch it.

Speaker 3 (43:09):
Is this when I was with Scottie and I dressed
like him?

Speaker 1 (43:13):
I don't know, So that's what we're gonna have to
either check this out because the main event of this
show is Dreamer, Samon and new Jack versus the Network,
and you are not in the listed as being in
the corner of Dreamer, Samon and Newjack.

Speaker 2 (43:31):
I must have been managing Raven at the time. Then
Mikey Whipbreck but nothing against Mikey. But I don't even
remember this.

Speaker 1 (43:39):
Yep, the Impact Players defeated Raven and Mikey Whipbreck in
four minutes and six seconds. Wow, in a tag team championship.

Speaker 2 (43:48):
You know, there are things in my brain that are
there forever. And then there's that that I don't even
remember being a part of. Where were we said that?

Speaker 1 (44:00):
This was that Saint Charles, Saint Charles Missouri in the
family arenas what it's called Missouri?

Speaker 2 (44:07):
I know it well, I don't remember that for anything,
So I'm going to need proof show me or it
didn't happen.

Speaker 1 (44:19):
And then then the Russell Palooza prior to two thousand
and was ninety eight, which was a huge success for
you guys, is a huge show.

Speaker 3 (44:27):
What did I do on that one?

Speaker 1 (44:29):
That's that's the Al Snow Shane main event.

Speaker 3 (44:33):
Oh that's oh yeah, that was That was a doozy
of a night we went. We went over that one
another episode.

Speaker 1 (44:39):
Yep, yep, we have a whole episode about that where
we watch it with Jimmy Wang Yang.

Speaker 3 (44:43):
I mean that is a That is the one from Atlanta, Georgia. Correct, correct, Yes,
And that is the one that I wear.

Speaker 2 (44:53):
One of my greatest outfits that I've ever found in
the history of Francine's werder. It was the one with
the cutouts all over the boobs. Oh, I love that
outfit so much.

Speaker 1 (45:05):
Wressell Paloos in ninety seven. Shane Douglas in the first
match defeats Chris Chetty and then later in the night
loses to Taz Lizer.

Speaker 3 (45:15):
Shane, you think that loser.

Speaker 1 (45:17):
That's Wrussell Palooz in ninety seven. That was at the Arena.
Wressell Palooza in nineteen ninety five. Let's see what we
got we have? Are you at this one? I don't
think No, you were not on Russell Palooza nineteen ninety five.
So this Wressell plus in ninety five. The date is

(45:38):
August fifth, ninety five. Oh yeah, I should have been
on it, Raven it says Ravens has Raven Stevie in
the Dudleys. I might have been Dreamer Cactus in the
pit Bulls, but it does not have been listed with
the Pippoles.

Speaker 3 (45:55):
I might have still been in the crowd for Stevie.

Speaker 1 (45:58):
All right, So there you go, Decory Palooza.

Speaker 3 (46:03):
Interesting, very interesting.

Speaker 2 (46:06):
Well, if anybody out there news why WWE used Russell
Palooza for this paper view, drop me a comment and
let me know, because I have no clue why they
did that.

Speaker 3 (46:16):
What's next?

Speaker 1 (46:17):
Heat wave, cyber slam coming anyway?

Speaker 3 (46:21):
Seinfeldt, Come on.

Speaker 1 (46:24):
Paradise.

Speaker 3 (46:27):
I'm telling you what was the massacre on thirty fourth.

Speaker 1 (46:33):
The South Philly jam?

Speaker 3 (46:35):
Oh god?

Speaker 2 (46:36):
Remember that that's an old one, oh man, so funny. Anyway,
if you haven't seen uh Wressell pala go see it.

Speaker 3 (46:43):
It's a fun two and a half hours. It's not bad.
It's not it's not as bad as everybody say. For
that clip alone, you should.

Speaker 1 (46:53):
Just hey, show out of this world.

Speaker 3 (46:56):
It's really good. That's nice enough juicy. Yeah, it was good.
I liked it. So that's that.

Speaker 2 (47:05):
