Speaker 1 (00:00):
M hm hm h m.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Hey everyone, it is keen with spring Trains and you're
listening to eyes.
Speaker 3 (00:36):
Up here with springs from the Iheartwork or the podcasts
all the times I'm to die.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
We're here early on a Sunday morning, Yeah, right, and
early right.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
I had a crisis in my house today before I
ask you how you're doing?
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Well? How are you doing? Are you doing?
Speaker 4 (00:57):
I'm doing good? And you like my pup a Enemy
tribute there, I did.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
You're a little offbeat.
Speaker 4 (01:04):
I know, well that's because of delay in the recording,
but I was trying to do a little bit of
the Hey, I.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Just thought you had no rhythm and you weren't following the.
Speaker 4 (01:13):
No, no, no, it's the that's the lag in the recording.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
Was it okay? Listen to listen to this?
Speaker 5 (01:22):
You know?
Speaker 2 (01:23):
iPads are real big in my house. We all have one.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
My son actually had a backup for a while or two.
He is really into listening to music right, and he
has his own Spotify account, and he has his own
playlist of the songs that he likes, and he just
sits there and he listens to his music with his
headphones on and he's in another world. And for some
(01:48):
reason today he had his headphones on and it was lagging,
and uh no, I'm sorry, this was yesterday. It started glitching.
The page started glitch and it wasn't working. And he's
got a bit of a short temper.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
So you know, you get a couple of boom, but
what's going on?
Speaker 3 (02:07):
And I was like, calm down and just you know,
maybe it's the internet or whatever, just calm down. He
gets his headphones where the jack goes in the hole
and breaks it and so the little.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
Piece is inside, is inside and it's stuck.
Speaker 4 (02:24):
Oh boy.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
So now he comes to me and he goes, oh,
and I'm like, what did you do?
Speaker 3 (02:30):
He's like, I raged and I broke my headphones and
now look and he shows me and I'm just like, oh, Bud,
you know, how do you get this out? So now
I'm looking all at all these videos how to get
this little piece out? And it's a I guess it's
a newer iPad or whatever, and the hole is like
real small, and they're telling me to stick a straw
(02:50):
in there, but the straw is too big, and like
all these different.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
Options and so nothing.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
Yeah, you're supposed to stick a straw and it's supposed
to be real lug that it'll pull it out.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
But I didn't have a straw that was small enough
to like a coffee.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
Yeah, that might be too small. But so I'm like frantic.
Now I'm like, okay, how do I get this thing out?
Because it thinks that your headphones are plugged in? The
volume doesn't work.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
Now right, yep?
Speaker 2 (03:20):
He can't even.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
Use it without headphones on because there's no sound.
Speaker 4 (03:26):
How about a vacuum?
Speaker 2 (03:28):
How about? My patience was this thin? And I was
just like trying everything. So my husband goes to the store.
They said, get bamboo sticks, so it bots these bamboo
I mean, we were trying like everything.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
Then I was like, okay, we'll use I have the
wireless earpod things, you know. I try to hook it
up to the Bluetooth that wasn't working. Then I had
the kind that actually go into the charger the earbuds
that didn't take for some reason. So it was the
last twenty four hours was a big yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
So he's like, hew, am I supposed to jam to
my music?
Speaker 3 (04:06):
I was like, you have to listen to it without headphones,
you know, But now we have to buy them a
new iPad because you can't use that on the plane.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
I mean, I got a pencil.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
I put crazy glue on the eraser and tried to
adhere it to the little tiny part that was sticking out,
and it wouldn't pull it. I mean I I tried everything.
I was trying. Well, my daughter's iPad didn't work. And
you know what revived it?
Speaker 4 (04:36):
What?
Speaker 2 (04:37):
Ice? What putting ice? Yep, put I looked it up.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
You put ice, wrapped it in a towel and you
had to put it on and leave it sit on
the top of the iPad and when it was done,
it was back to one hundred percent.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
It was crazy. Her battery was draining. Look it up.
I mean that's where I saw it, and now it
works fine. Crazy.
Speaker 4 (05:00):
That's the weirdest thing I've ever heard.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
I know, I didn't expect any and I didn't expect
it to work, but it did, so I was really
proud of myself.
Speaker 4 (05:08):
Saw a video of a guy who was flipping burgers
while he was on the phone and he put his
phone down. I guess where he put his phone down
on the grill. On the grill phone, the phone went
up in flames. So we grabbed the phone with his
batula that he was slipping the burgers with and he
threw it and it landed. It landed on the little
(05:31):
couch that was on his deck. Guess what happened to
the couch?
Speaker 2 (05:37):
Is there a video that?
Speaker 4 (05:38):
Yeah, that's why I saw it. So okay, I'm guessing
that's one of the phones that you probably can't revive.
That's crazy, but the ice probably would have worked well
in that situation.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
Telling you, man, the ice revived it, But this little
thing is stuck.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
So now, man, we got to buy a new freaking iPad.
They cost so much money.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
I'm like, dude, you gotta wait till Christmas.
Speaker 4 (06:01):
I don't envy my iPad's. They've knocked on wood, they've
lasted a long time. The one that we have, there's
I feel like I'm doing like an old like mom joke.
My iPad is so old you can't even do one
of the you can't even download certain apps because they're
not compatible. That's how old my iPad is.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
Yeah. So, I mean, he's just he's beside himself over
not wearing his phones. But you know, we need headphones
on the airplane when we travel. And because I just
saw a video of a guy that refused to put
his earphones on and he was watching some video and
they were delayed seven hours or something.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
And I was just like, what the hell these people
are crazy?
Speaker 3 (06:46):
Put your damn earphones on. What's the big deal, you know,
disturbing everybody?
Speaker 4 (06:52):
But you mentioned earlier, I mentioned I wasn't feeling well off.
So we are one week between recordings and I have
been sick for one week.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Is it flu symptoms?
Speaker 4 (07:05):
I guess it's just cold, it's just super cold. But Tuesday, Wednesday,
in between our days of recording, I was just I
was knocked out. I was drained, and it settled into
my chest and I was just coughing, and you know,
it was super congestion. And I still, you know, nasally,
and I might have to mute myself to let out
(07:27):
a big cough. Still. But yeah, one full week of
this ship and it's all terrible.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
Coughs can last for months, unfortunately.
Speaker 4 (07:37):
So you know, as well as I couldn't love Friday,
I couldn't laugh because every time I laughed, I'm sounded
like old smoker catch my breath. So yeah, that sucks.
Not fun, not fun.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
Well, I hope you feel better lots of stuff have
occurred this week, with the biggest news in the wrestling
world to some people, maybe not to all, but to
some WWE announced WrestleMania for twenty twenty seven. It's anyone
(08:12):
in America's worst nightmare Saudi Arabia. So that means two
years of no rustle Kan for me, which is very sad.
But there was a press conference that I did not see,
but you said you have correct.
Speaker 4 (08:31):
Yeah, yeah, the press conference is what I saw being
circulated more than anything about the entire announcement. You know,
this had been speculated big time for the last gosh
had to be what months, that they were going to
(08:51):
do something here in Saudi Arabia, one of the big,
big shows and move it over there. But now it's confirmed,
and it's also on the heels of this ESPN streaming service,
which we can talk about that as well. Here on
the heels of this announcement some of the rumors with
the ESPN service that have been circulating too. But we'll
(09:13):
start with the press conference, and you want me to
play the clip, I can start that now.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
Let me just just say that they say this marks
the first time the event will take place outside of
North America.
Speaker 4 (09:27):
Yes, WrestleMania six and WrestleMania eighteen took place in Toronto.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
Okay, okay, yeah, let's let's just hear a couple of
words from Trips himself. Everybody looks very somber standing on
that stage.
Speaker 4 (09:43):
Oh, that was one of the things that stood out
like a sore thumb.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
Okay, let's see what he has to say here.
Speaker 5 (09:57):
January and today we announced something that takes this partnership.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
Let's turn it up so.
Speaker 5 (10:05):
On behalf of his excellency on, behalf of Nick con
WWE President, who was the driving force on this deal.
I would like to announce that, for the first time ever,
WrestleMania will be held outside side of the United States
and Canada in twenty twenty seven. We are proud to
(10:26):
announce that WrestleMania forty three will take place in Saudi
Arabia as part of Riodd's season.
Speaker 3 (10:39):
Liv Morgan looks very happy about the news.
Speaker 4 (10:43):
Okay, I think that's.
Speaker 5 (10:44):
All he says is history will undautally be made again.
You are making history a lot lately thanks to our
partners at the GA and riadd season. We just could
not be more excited for this opportunity. This is an
opportunity to show the world what I think most people
(11:04):
already know that WWE is a global brand that reaches
every corner of the world and excites fans from everywhere.
Thank you very much.
Speaker 4 (11:16):
Okay, So I mean, all right, let's look at who's
in attendancy. You've got Bianca bell Air, Charlotte Flair, Sean Michaels,
The Undertaker, Live Morgan, Stephanie Vukar, Logan Paul, and Seth Rollins.
So that's a that's a pretty big roster of talent.
(11:37):
But I mean again, body language being what it is,
that is wow, they.
Speaker 3 (11:42):
Are Yeah, a lot of them don't look through I mean,
Live Morgan was smiling and clapping, and I think she's
just happy to be back kind.
Speaker 4 (11:52):
Of yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
Because she's been out for a while. But I write
a lot of a lot.
Speaker 3 (11:59):
Of talent are not happy with this news. So it'll
be interesting to see, you know. I mean, we have
over a year before this happens, so it's interesting to
see who's booked, what angles are going on, you know,
if anybody will take like a political stance against it
(12:22):
or whatever, there's.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
Some time you know.
Speaker 4 (12:26):
Yeah, but I have a theory or two.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
Okay, well go on.
Speaker 4 (12:34):
They they have. They had the greatest Royal Rumble ever
a few years ago in Saudi Arabia, which was just
a Saudi Arabia version of the Royal Rumble. I could
see backlash causing two WrestleManias in one year because of
(12:54):
such a loss in domestic revenue with an event like
this going away. And also I could see, and it
hasn't happened yet, I could see there being a more
political backlash happening that hasn't happened, maybe because things going
on in the world, so this hasn't really hit the
radar yet, but I could definitely see this potentially being
(13:17):
a placeholder event and not necessarily being WrestleMania forty three.
I could see this being the first ever Saudi Arabia WrestleMania.
So that's kind of my big thought on the matter.
But like I said earlier about ESPN, I think ESPN
also plays a big part in this, because there's a
(13:41):
very hot rumor that ESPN is about to drop the
literal entire WWE archive onto that service that they're trying
to build up. So whether ESPN is a driving force
to make something special. So this riad season is such
a big deal Wrestlmantia forty three is, but it is
(14:02):
I think ESPN could be more of a factor in
the WWE going global like this for such a marquee event.
Speaker 3 (14:10):
So do you think, because it obviously is going to
be a two day event like it always is, to
get all the talent on there, we would think, because
that's how it's been in previous years, they're gonna have
a role, They're gonna have a SmackDown, They'll probably have
the Hall of Fame ceremony out there. Do you think
(14:32):
they're going to attract you know, sixty thousand plus people
for two nights, And if so, how many of those
people are going to be traveling internationally like they do
to the US.
Speaker 4 (14:46):
I don't think so. I think this is a one
night er. I don't think this is gonna be a
too night event. Yeah, I don't think this will be
a two night event. And I don't think that it's
gonna be the same travel destination. I don't think it's
going to be the same fan access event that they've
been doing in the States when they do the Saudi
Arabia shows. They still do like a lot of meet
and greets, and they still do those experience. I think
(15:08):
it'll be that kind of blown up, But I don't
think it's going to be what we see in the
States at all. Now. Granted, if you want to like
have your mind blown, go type in the Warner Brothers
experience in Saudi Arabia, and they have the greatest theme
park on planet Earth you've ever seen in your life
in Saudi Arabia. Oh, it's amazing. But so they can
(15:30):
do it up better than anybody. But I just don't
see I don't see the traveling. I don't see the
I don't see the domestic audience going they see.
Speaker 3 (15:40):
I think that WWE wants to utilize this for every
penny they can scrape, you know what I mean, Like
they want to make as much money as possible. So
I can see them doing a two day event, but
I can I just don't see people coming in from
Japan to the United States, Germany like we always get.
You know, it's like a melting pot in the States
(16:01):
when WrestleMania hits, there's fans.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
From all over the world. Are these people gonna Is
it easy to travel to Saudi Arabia? I don't even know. Yeah,
you know, so that might be a factor.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
And again what's going on in the world politically might
be a factor at that time. Like it's it's there's
a lot of questions that aren't answered yet that we
have to wait till it gets closer.
Speaker 2 (16:23):
But I thought of something.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
If this all follows suit the way that they're saying,
and it all goes according to plan, what do you
think of someone like it would be a Tony Khan
with aaw because they are the number two promotion.
Speaker 2 (16:42):
Being that there's a.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
Lack of that wrestling hype that weekend with like the
wrestle kan joining in and all of the indie shows
doing what they do, would Tony Khan consider doing a
large show that weekend, like I don't know, like a
stadium show or just a big show like all in
(17:06):
or double or nothing or something like Like I'm not
saying it's that particular title that's going to be used,
but something big that like a wrestle Klan can latch
onto them.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
Because I don't see wrestle Klon I'm going to Saudi Arabia,
I don't. I just don't think it's feasible.
Speaker 3 (17:24):
You know what, I mean, could that be an alternative
for something that we've had consistently year after year, and
you know, because it is a major loss for the
wrestling community not having it in the States. I mean,
you know, I said it before, like a lot of
(17:45):
us get tons of work that weekend because of all
the fans coming in and everything that's going on. On
the flip side, is aaw big enough to generate those
people to come from other countries, from you know, wherever
to do a wrestle kan Would it be beneficial? Would
(18:07):
it be a draw? So you have two sides to
that theory. But it's something to think about because again
it is over a year away. Maybe something happens in
aw blows up and they're doing awesome, and it's something
to think about.
Speaker 4 (18:24):
I think that's a fantastic idea. And to be very
honest with you, I don't know if it would affect
his stake in ownership or stakeholding in WWETKO, but it
would behoove someone like Tony Kahan to get in business
(18:46):
then with Vince McMahon and figure out how to do
something like that to compete against WrestleMania.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
You just want Vince back in the mix.
Speaker 4 (18:56):
No, but I'm dead serious. I think that if anybody
knows how to compe against WrestleMania, it would be Vince McMahon,
and I think that that would be smart and you
get to do it behind the scenes and we'll never know,
but have it be Vince team up with Tony and
that's how you compete with wwees going to Saudi Arabia.
Speaker 2 (19:17):
But you know, you don't even have to compete with them.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
You don't have to go head to head with a
pay per view versus pay per view because we all
know everybody's going to be watching WrestleMania.
Speaker 4 (19:29):
I'm talking about the weekend. I'm talking about the weekend itself. No,
you want to have a big weekend, get somebody like
Vince Okay, who made WrestleMania what it is, but that
wrestle con around it. I mean, it'll just be good
in the States, and the people who come to the
States and know about it from international will come to it.
I just don't think Saudi Arabia, and again this is
not a political statement, is going to draw the people from,
(19:51):
like you said, the Japan's and the other countries that
would flock to, say Vegas or New York or Philly
or something like that. For the spectacle that is WrestleMania.
I also think, and again this is not going to
be a political take, but you know the fact that
(20:11):
you have the the superstars themselves that put so much
into their entrance and their attire and their their gear.
You now have to take that and put that into
consideration that now that has to be stifled because there
are certain rules that they have to adhere to for
(20:32):
an event in Riod. So only for the.
Speaker 3 (20:35):
Women, yeah, yeah, they have to They're not allowed to
show certain body parts. And I love WrestleMania for the clothes.
Speaker 2 (20:45):
It's it's like the Oscars for me.
Speaker 3 (20:47):
I like to see the gear and who's wearing what,
and because everybody gets that special gear for WrestleMania.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
So yeah, you're.
Speaker 4 (20:53):
Right, there's Tiffany Stratton. How about that? How you think that?
Would you think that would go over well during redd season?
I don't think so.
Speaker 3 (21:03):
I think they would say it's too much scam. But
she she looks fantastic. She looks like she's leaned out
a lot. She looks beautiful.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
You know, I gotta I gotta talk to her and
see what she's doing. So I need to do.
Speaker 4 (21:18):
She does have to watch. So she almost like killed
herself the other night on SmackDown doing a moon salt
landed very awkwardly. Yeah, it looked like it. It's a
move i'd take out of the arsenal. It was a
moon salt for the outcome.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
It's very pretty though, but.
Speaker 4 (21:35):
It was one for the outside, not on the inside.
Speaker 2 (21:39):
Listen, stuff happens.
Speaker 3 (21:40):
Just because one one thing goes wrong doesn't mean she
shouldn't do it again. Now she does it on repeat
and it keeps, you know, going wrong, then.
Speaker 2 (21:48):
Yes you need to cut it out. But who news,
She's awesome.
Speaker 4 (21:53):
You know, people keep going and this is one just
and I can just go on and out of out
today's modern wrestling fan and their their take on things
and how they express themselves. They're all going after Triple
H and they're all attacking Triple H for this move
of bringing WrestleMania to Saudi Arabia. He is just one
(22:17):
cog in the wheel. This is a business decision by
the overarching entity that does have a partnership with Saudi
Arabia and the whatever it is, the King of Whatever.
But for people to just go online and bast Triple
H is very stupid and very ignorant. So you have
to look at the entire business relationship that they have,
(22:38):
and he is the figurehead. He is the person we
see at the top. He is a part of that
brain trust, but he's not the one who's making the
final decisions. So people got to really chill with some
of the stuff that they're saying. I mean, he was
getting booed at the Triple A event on Friday night
saying you sold out, you know the announcement. Yeah, I
(22:59):
mean it's like, come, people need to relax. Well, it's
just a guy doing his job.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
Right, Yeah, and he's trying to make the company global.
You know, there was something I've read about them having
a permanent office now in Saudi Arabia, So this is
the start of more with that partnership. If you have
a permanent office somewhere, it's not like you're going to
do a one off, right, There's gonna be a lot
(23:26):
more stuff happening. So I don't know, I mean.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
We'll see. I'm just curious to see if it's.
Speaker 3 (23:34):
Going to be two nights and how big of a
stadium are they using.
Speaker 2 (23:38):
Is it going to be as big as in the US.
Are they gonna draw as much?
Speaker 3 (23:44):
Look at some of these faces though, It's just like, okay,
and why is Undertaker in this picture?
Speaker 4 (23:52):
I think just because of the legend factor. I mean,
they are very big on the stars of the past
that Saudi Ara is very they were known for. I
think the first event they wanted Yoko Zuna versus Undertaker
as the main event. You know, likes, yeah, they want
the legends.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
I was just wondering if he was going to be
a part of it somehow, Like are all these people
booked for?
Speaker 2 (24:18):
Is that why they're on the stage.
Speaker 4 (24:20):
Well, it goes to show you who they like as
the uh you know, the the faces, the faces of
the company. And that's a big deal for Stephanie Vuckard
to be up there.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
She looks like she just smelt something. Faul I mean.
Speaker 4 (24:35):
Her and Stephie boy there same thing.
Speaker 5 (24:39):
You know.
Speaker 4 (24:40):
He's the he's the one that he's very vocal about everything.
So yes, so anybody has a political stance or a
stance against what's going on, eventually we will hear what
he has to say, because he was always the one
who was very vocal about Hulk Hogan he was always
very vocal about see him Punk, and this is before
(25:02):
Punk came back. This is a guy who if he's
not happy about this, it will come out at some point.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
You know what, though I might disagree with that statement
because Punk wasn't in the company. You talk freely about it.
What was your other point, Paul Cogan wasn't really in
the company, talk freely about this is his bread and butter.
Him and his wife work there. You say one negative
thing that could, you know, tarnish any relationships. I think
(25:32):
he's going to keep his mouth shut on this one.
They have a world I just told you. They have
an office there, they have a working relationship. So you
don't you know, you ever really expression you don't shit
where you eat. It's so disgusting, that expression.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
But it's the truth.
Speaker 4 (25:47):
Yeah, it's the truth.
Speaker 3 (25:49):
If these guys, I mean, no matter how you feel
about something, if they were smart, they would all keep
their mouth shut because it could tamper with their position.
And Seth has a very good position in that company
right now, so you can read it on his face.
But if he was a smart man, he would keep
that under his cap.
Speaker 4 (26:12):
I'm laughing at two things in this picture or in
this post, one is Seawn Michael's looking in the direct
He's looking in the wrong direction, the camera straight up stoppy.
The second thing is too The first comment underneath is
by Vince Russell. He calls Triple h the King of Pops.
(26:33):
So he says, all hel the King of pops for
changing the world. Hail Hail, Hell. He's rubbing up against well, no,
he's ripping him because he calls him the king of pops.
He just says that everything he does is for a pop.
And then oh, I see, Oh okay, he even beat TKO,
who just wrote like the happy, like the cheering hands.
(26:54):
I love that. Vince Russo is comment above TKO whatever.
Speaker 3 (26:58):
Okay, And they're gonna do whatever they can to make
that money. So this will be the test. Will they
make Will they profit from this? Well, you know which
which I'm sure it will be a profit, But how much.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
We've yet to find out.
Speaker 4 (27:16):
Yeah, we don't know.
Speaker 3 (27:17):
So interesting, Okay, we're gonna We're gonna follow that story
as as it happens.
Speaker 4 (27:22):
This is a developing story.
Speaker 3 (27:24):
This next story makes me sad because this man has
been through so much.
Speaker 4 (27:28):
Jerry Lawler, Yeah, suffered.
Speaker 3 (27:30):
Another stroke, and like we weren't we just talking about
him not long ago? And I said I had seen
him and he looked, Yes.
Speaker 4 (27:38):
We brought him up probably two or three weeks ago,
that he's the one that posted the photo from Vince
mric Man's eightieth birthday party, and we went and looked
up his age and we said he was seventy six
or seventy seven, and then he looks great. He's still
he's back out doing conventions every weekend. He's out signing somewhere.
Speaker 2 (27:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (27:57):
No, and then look, somebody is trying to get Jerry
Lawler on that other side.
Speaker 3 (28:04):
And he's got nine lives because this happened during Friday.
Speaker 2 (28:09):
He was at home in Florida.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
He's seventy five years old, and.
Speaker 2 (28:14):
Yeah, he suffered a stroke.
Speaker 3 (28:16):
And we have a little excerpt from he was on
was it Channel five news?
Speaker 4 (28:23):
He was on the it's called the Action Action five,
Action News five and that's down there, and.
Speaker 2 (28:30):
Play that clip of Jerry Lawler.
Speaker 4 (28:32):
Yep, here we go. That's to say it's going to
be the Action five report.
Speaker 2 (28:36):
So kay.
Speaker 6 (28:40):
Awe Hall of Famer and Memphis native Jerry the King
Lawler for the first time since suffering another stroke. We've
learned Lowler had the stroke last Friday at a home
in Florida. He's back home in Memphis recovering. It's his
third stroke in the last seven years.
Speaker 4 (28:56):
Lawler had a.
Speaker 6 (28:56):
Stroke in twenty eighteen and twenty twenty three. Described the
morning he realized what happened. Well, that's the first time
I noticed that was when I woke up this morning.
Speaker 3 (29:11):
I knew.
Speaker 7 (29:11):
I knew something was.
Speaker 4 (29:12):
Bad wrong with that at that time.
Speaker 1 (29:15):
But I didn't.
Speaker 4 (29:16):
I didn't. I didn't feel it happening when it was happened.
Speaker 2 (29:20):
It just happened while it was asleep.
Speaker 5 (29:22):
And when I.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
Woke up, I do.
Speaker 3 (29:26):
I had to cause somebody that I could get there
and help you out with the situation.
Speaker 6 (29:34):
At Glad that he's recovering, all of his planned events
for the next month have been canceled.
Speaker 4 (29:40):
M oh Man, poor guy, that's so sad.
Speaker 2 (29:44):
I love Jerry Lawler.
Speaker 3 (29:46):
I'll say this all the time. He was so nice
to me anytime I've encountered him. He was such a
gentleman and so nice. You could hear it in his voice,
you know what I mean. You can hear that something's
wrong in his voice. So man, that makes me upset
delicious Yeah, yeah, which God forbid, like, thank god he
(30:09):
woke up.
Speaker 4 (30:10):
Yeah, that's scary because that's you know, you don't you
don't feel it, then it's uh, it's not gonna be good.
Speaker 3 (30:18):
Yeah, that makes me super sad. Well, hopefully speedy recovery
for Jerry Lawler. I hope to see him somewhere soon.
But gosh, three strokes. What they say seven years.
Speaker 4 (30:32):
Three strokes in seven years?
Speaker 2 (30:34):
Not good?
Speaker 4 (30:35):
I mean, not to mention the fact that he had
the heart attack on air, that's right, No excuse me,
still sifting in there in the body, had the heart
attack on air, almost died on television. I mean literally,
is like he's just he's Death's strongest opponent. He will
(30:56):
not die.
Speaker 3 (30:56):
Well, we're wishing Jerry Lawler the best. Another story coming
out of WWE this week, Andrade released.
Speaker 2 (31:07):
And he's done.
Speaker 3 (31:11):
And I read that he was like m I A
for like a month. He wasn't at any of the
shows or anything, and and now he's gone, and not much.
They just quietly moved him to the ww alumni section,
(31:34):
which they tend to do.
Speaker 2 (31:36):
They tend to just transfer people over there with no explanation.
Speaker 3 (31:40):
He was part of a tag team program with Ray Phoenix,
and it just he just kind of disappeared. So no
one knows if it was a mutual agreement. No one
knows if he had asked for his release. They said
it wasn't related to budget cuts. So I'm wondering, now,
(32:02):
this is just just the theory, just something I thought of.
Speaker 2 (32:07):
Could it be that working with your ex wife gives
you an ulcer? Is it not?
Speaker 3 (32:15):
Is it not pleasant? Did he not want to be
there anymore? You know, I'm not saying that's the reason,
but is that a factor.
Speaker 4 (32:25):
I mean, it's probably not the best working environment.
Speaker 2 (32:28):
No, it's got to be awkward unless you're on good terms.
Speaker 3 (32:32):
And again, I don't know what their dynamic is between
the two of them. But just the conspiracy theory, like
maybe that was part of the reason why he wanted
to leave or did he want to leave?
Speaker 2 (32:46):
Was he forced out? I'm sure more will come, but yeah.
Speaker 3 (32:52):
He's bouncing back and forth. He's like a ping pong ball. WW.
Speaker 4 (32:58):
You'd think he'd be perfect for that relationship they have
right now with Triple A. You know, he like the
ideal guy who can you know, serve some some time
on Ross SmackDown whatever, but also these Triple A events
that they're broadcasting every month. He'd be a guy who'd
be perfect on there. But no, you know, again, I
don't even realize these guys are gone because there's so
(33:20):
many people on the roster. But he was in the
group that was in the Triple A press conference that
was hovered around the broadcast area when they announced the
the purchase of Triple A, and i'd that feel like
that was the last time I saw him because I
haven't seen him in a match, yeah, you know, outside
(33:41):
of just him popping up in a royal rumble. I mean,
you know, listen, I mean you'd be the one i'd
ask because of your locker room time. But in your
experience when people are in their in the locker room
with their ex is it easy to navigate or is
it always something that's gonna be coming up unless you're
(34:02):
professional just can put your head down. I mean, I'm
sure that that it's always got to be bothering you.
Speaker 2 (34:07):
Right, It's I've I've been there, and it's awkward. If
you don't have a good relationship with the person, it
can be awkward. But on the flip side.
Speaker 3 (34:20):
You have to be professional, and you know, if it's
just you know, passing somebody in a hallway and not
trying to wring their neck, it's doable. You know. They
weren't doing any angles together or anything like that, so
it's not like they had to work together. I remember
(34:40):
I had to hug my ex in the ring during
and it was just so it was it was very
awkward at the time. You know, Now we're fine. Now
I can hug him and say hello, and you know,
but in the beginning it's difficult. So again I'm not
(35:02):
saying that was the reason that he left, but you know,
is that one of the factors, because there's not a
lot of information out there, so who knows.
Speaker 2 (35:11):
Maybe he was. He just wasn't happy.
Speaker 3 (35:15):
That's the biggest reason people leave, right they're not happy,
they're not happy with the direction of the character.
Speaker 2 (35:22):
Maybe that's what happened with Andronnie. We don't know so.
Speaker 4 (35:26):
Many guys on the roster, that's the problem. And a
guy like this who's super talented, was super over when
they originally had Hi an NXT just gets lost in
a shuffle and it's a shame.
Speaker 2 (35:36):
So he'll walk into TNA.
Speaker 4 (35:39):
I think that would probably be the best place for him.
But again, now in TNA, where's he gonna fall. There's
too many guys in TNA, and and my opinion, TNA
is not strong enough to push the right guys. They're
they're pushing that their their show is so unbalanced that
a guy like him would get lost in a shuffle
and he'd be on a pre show because I mean,
(36:01):
they've got such like a good array of talent that
they don't they push the wrong people, and the some
of the best talent you either don't have on the
show or they're on the pre show. So okay, it's weird.
Speaker 2 (36:12):
Yeah, well, I'm sure he'll pop up somewhere, so just
very vague the details on why he's not there, so
it'll come out. Everything comes out in the wash eventually.
Speaker 4 (36:25):
I mean, you see, like MLW still I don't know
how is in existence, right, and they're still trying to
get weekly TV. No no, But like it's just like
I'll say, how, I don't know. I know they've got
the money for it, Okay, I'm not saying that, but
I don't know how because they've got such a small
niche like fan base but they're still limping to get
(36:48):
a television contract somewhere. And I just saw it this
morning before we recorded. MJF is now starting to appear
on MLWTV to help them like with secure the TV contracts,
and I think I don't know if they were and
now they're not, and then they're trying to get it again.
(37:10):
But hell if I knew what channel they were on.
And I used to enjoy the MLW product and like
a very small small dose, but I mean, you know,
I saw Baron Corbyn is there right now, and he's
like one of their top guys. But MJF is appearing
on MLWTV and that's.
Speaker 2 (37:30):
Where he that's where he was before he signed.
Speaker 4 (37:33):
Yeah, that's I mean, that's it makes sense. But he's
the top guy of AW. It's like, wow, what a
what a you know, a transition h move for him
to to help them out. But with T and A WWE,
I mean there's just there's so many guys AW, of course,
so many guys on these rosters. It's like what the hell, Yeah,
(37:55):
can't book Like, you can't can't book something that somebody's
gonna want to watch? Nobody wants to watch Andrade they
can't find him.
Speaker 2 (38:04):
Well, you gotta follow on the socials.
Speaker 4 (38:06):
You got to follow him, you know, you're right, you
gotta follow him and wait for him to say I
will be on blank and that's.
Speaker 2 (38:14):
Where you go watch him. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (38:17):
Well again, he'll end up somewhere, I'm sure, but uh,
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (38:26):
Lots of stories going around.
Speaker 4 (38:28):
Uh. Back to what I was saying earlier too, with
the ESPN wwe H connection. They are talking about how
ESPN is going to take over the entire library, to
include the vaults, to include the YouTube channels, every TV
show and that you could see. Let's just use ECW
(38:52):
for an example. Every ECW event and television show dropped
onto that ESPN platform like one dump boom right there.
Speaker 2 (39:02):
Do I get a royalty check from ESPN?
Speaker 4 (39:05):
Well, that would be the I would say, all the
extremists that would have to get together and it would
be that original royalty argument. Back, but they're talking about
how ESPN is just gonna come in and they're gonna
go for it, and they're gonna go and they're gonna
just go for the gusto and put everything out there
(39:26):
in a way we've never seen before.
Speaker 2 (39:28):
So do I have to pay for ESPN Plus for this.
Speaker 4 (39:31):
So what you have to do is you have to
pay for this new giant ESPN service is thirty dollars
services that was Are they officially calling it ESPN Plus?
Speaker 2 (39:41):
I saw ESPN Plus somewhere, but I was say.
Speaker 4 (39:44):
Yes, N Plus was what it was. I don't know
if that's what it's still. But all I know is
that you log into Disney Plus and it says ESPN
is now a separate bundle. And I had mentioned last
week I know somebody who had said she you trying
to make something work with her bundles. But you log
(40:04):
into Disney Plus and it says, if you want ESPN,
it is a separate, separate entity.
Speaker 3 (40:12):
What is the relationship between Netflix and ESPN because Raw
on Mondays?
Speaker 2 (40:17):
Does that affect Raw in any way?
Speaker 4 (40:21):
I don't know. I don't think it will because I
think the only way I think it would is if
it had the archives. So I think once the archive.
Speaker 2 (40:33):
Is over then it goes over to the ESPN archive.
Speaker 4 (40:37):
Possibly, but also too you know they're saying that, you know,
Netflix gets to keep them on there. You can go
on Netflix and watch Raw.
Speaker 2 (40:46):
That's what I'm saying. Like this is this is getting
a little confusing.
Speaker 4 (40:49):
Yeah, and if you know you're a video uh you know,
if you're somebody who's up on your archives, you got
to keep a certain amount of money a loted per
month to want your WWE available to you. The only
thing I think would be very dumb is if they
were to put a premium tab on the WWE Vault
on YouTube, because to me, that is the best YouTube
(41:13):
channel Next hours ever created in the history of wrestling.
I mean, it is unbelievable the stuff that they pull out.
Speaker 3 (41:21):
