you who country singer? He made a song that he
had big big plans. He's posted was a fiance to
his girlfriend and he told her about that he's writing

figures it out. The whole videos about him prosing It's
awesome night. I recommend you check it out. I will
not be doing any of that. And it doesn't surprise
me that downstairs before the show, we were having a
conversation about how much I hate country music. Should have
been there, Greg, should have been there. He got some big,
big plans. Doesn't ring about I'm out or no. I
just sleep last night. How did I sleep last night?
(02:25):
Very well? Right? And I woke up. I woke up energetic,
ready for the day. It was the least amount of
sleep that I had all week on. It's the latest
that we went to sleep. It makes no sense that
last night one o'clock, one o'clock. That's late. It's very late,
later than usual. I was like I was. I was
awake all night, waking up. I was dreaming of slack messages.
It was bad. Well, I don't know if I can
(02:46):
one up your there dreaming of slack messages, Greg. But
what I did do was I turned on the notifications
for every baseball team that puts out in article at
the Athletic so I can read every single thing that's
hapening throughout spring training. You talking about sec this guy's
I was reading some quotes about you, say Cacuchi, I
(03:09):
the bounce back Greg? Alright, what about my Clevinger? You
like him? It's talking about first from Sean Sports Grade
News Update. I'm Seonssomakia with your BFF Sports Grid News Update. Alright, guys,
Josh Norman will be released by the Washington Resiskins this
(03:34):
according to NFL Networks Mike Gara Folo. Norman has been
in Washington for the past four years. It will save
the Redskins twelve point five million in the salary capital
account for three million in debt money this upcoming season.
Also NFL News, the Broncos and Rams they're cutting scouting
(03:56):
combined attendance. They say that their use of scouts will
be better served watching film back in Denver and l A, respectively,
rather than going to the combine in Indianapolis this season.
R MLB News mL M VP Candidate or nl m
v P, Cody Bellinger says that Astro's Jose Altuve stole
(04:20):
the twenty seventeen a l m v P from Aaron Judge,
not a holding back. He says, I thought the apologies
were whatever. That's a quote from Bellinger. I thought owner
Jim Krame was weak. I thought Commissioner Manfred's punishment was weak,
giving them the players immunity. Those guys were cheating for
three years. I think what people don't realize is Altuve
(04:42):
stole an m v P from Judge in seventeen and quote, wow,
more information coming out here seen used Astro's player Tony
Kemp said that when he was called up in September,
he did not partake in the sign stealing. Think of
that for what you may, but he claims. Tony Camp
(05:04):
claims that he did not partake in the signs stealing.
Some news from soccer Manchester City to appeal a two
year band from the Champions League. This after violating f
f P violations. Uh, stay tuned on their The Premier
League Champions will be excluding from the Champions League for
(05:25):
the two campaigns. Stay tuned for that. Alright, that's your
BFF news update. Now back to Greg and Frank. So
there you go. You heard all the news updates. A
lot of stuff going around the NFL, of course, with
Josh Norman being released, the Scouts not going to colmine
because he says he useless. But as you mentioned before
(05:47):
we hit the update, Frank, it was time to talking
about Mike Clevinger and miss Hanniger as well. Both these
guys coming out with injuries over the last twenty four hours.
We'll start with Clevinger because that's the newest one. Clevinger essentially,
you know you read the y S report. Towards meniscus
is what I was trying to tell you, and it tornmonniscus.
I feel like in the NFL, when you see torminiskis,
you're like, all right, we survived this right like it
(06:09):
wasn't an m c L. It wasn't an a c L,
wasn't a pcl A. Towards miniscus, you're out like two
to four weeks in the NFL with torminiscus. But baseball, um,
they're not nearly as I don't know what's what's the
right word for this. They're not nearly as Your meniscus
is not nearly as important. I guess important is not
(06:31):
the right word. No, I don't rely as much on
your meniscus, but I don't know if that's not true.
I'm trying to say basically that baseball players are wissies
and football players are not. What was the word I
was looking for, wo seas? Yeah, yeah, what's seas is
the word? Yeah? Fair enough. So essentially what my clubent
is gonna to do it pens which need it is
if it is his left knee, so it's his landing knee,
(06:53):
which is better than the other day actually does the
push off me would be much worse. Is much more
torque on that name. You know, I think it's probably
bad for either. Lad. It's not gonna be good either.
I mean again it's it's bad but Tormans because I
don't think it's not like it's going to keep you
out for the year. But we're talking about Remember, I
keep seeing thrown around is four to six weeks, begin
(07:14):
to throw in four to six weeks. So he'll be
probably ready by May. That's the exact timeline I was
thinking as well, early to mid May. It sounds there's
a value there, my Clevinger. Here we go, Greg, fire
up the valueinger. Listen, you know what I mean. I
am not missed their um, I am not missed their
injury optimism. But you've got a guy as only when
it comes to Clevinger, he's never been able to stay
(07:37):
one season over a hundred and twenty six endings pitched.
He's already hurt you. You're all in. I just feel
like the value is gonna be so good. Greg. Look,
I can either confirm nor deny. I will have my
NFBC Twitter open tonight to see the draft boards that
are going off to find out where Mike Clevinger is
(07:57):
being drafted tonight while I'm out celebrating Valentine's Day? So
what do you? What do you do Valentine's Day? Man,
I'm recreating my first date. We're recreating our first date,
which is what local pizzeria? Nice, local pub stay classy Greg,
Pizza and beer? Love it? Yeah? I love it? Man.
I know you're probably going to some fancy restaurant or
(08:19):
cooking fancy steakhouse. Probably spent a lot of money on groceries,
though there's money somewhere in there. You haven't bought him yet.
What did you get her? Good gift? I don't get
her gift. No gifts? Right about our cards right there?
That's nice? Nice? Nothing like wait till the last sex second,
(08:39):
Greg was the rush. I'll give it to her tonight.
I bought mine weeks ago. I know it's crazy. I
don't know. I don't even know why. I don't know
why either, But yeah, I know we're we're cooking tonight.
It's what I really wanted to go. I'll show you
during the break. It takes eight hours to marinate, and
I actually don't have eight hours to marinate it. You're
gonna be in I don't know if you don't like,
you're not gonna the patients to cook this. Oh you're
(09:02):
gonna saw your fantastic Instagram post with lots of postules
that I actually literally liked, that I liked. Appreciate that
might be the first thing I liked on your Instagram.
Every All right, let's get back to my Clevinger because
obviously this is huge news. You know who's are validized
day plans man. You know, I was talking with the Constantine.
I share a few NNBC teams with him. We actually
(09:22):
just signed up for three more Draft Champions drafts. So yeah,
we have a problem clearly when it comes to uh money,
I might be contributing sooner or later, but uh, we're
we're gonna be sharing a few teams coming up soon,
and we're talking through you know, where do we think
Clevinger is gonna fall to? And initially I said he
probably drops to like the fourth or fifth round, and
(09:44):
then I got some pushback. He's like, no, that's too early. Yeah,
you're probably right. It's like six seven now we're talking
six seventh round. Probably makes the most sense for Mike Clevinger.
Who'd you rather have? My Clevinger? You Dovish? I still
that's not there yet, ye, because Darvish now is like
a fourth fifth rounder. All right, and we'll have h
(10:06):
we'll talk about it during a break somebody later on
the show. Who it is. I don't know if you
wanted to or not. Oh my Flora, huge darbish guy
this season. Really Yeah, he was ready to take him
at the three four turn and address crazy. Yeah. I
ask him about it. You would you rather have? I
think he goes in like that Burrios range. That's where
I think Clevinger drops. Given me the range, Okay, Barrios, Woodruff,
(10:31):
Trevor Bauer, that whole range. I think that'll that'll be
the range or Cleer Cleer, I'm not a cluber guy.
That's up. Queen Year. You said you were going to
be a no no I'm not club guy Carrasco or
my Clevinger. That's that's the range. Man, that's close past
Zach Wheeler. There are a lot of questions Carrasco, man, like, look,
(10:52):
you can nobody knows. I think you can try and
research as much as you want. When it comes to Carrasco,
like the guy had leukemia has right, so there's no
way of really knowing. Like it's just his life is
more important than fantasy baseball. That's basically what it comes back. Man,
he's back, He's all right. I look, I'm just saying,
like buying it bounce back to Carrasco or coming think
(11:16):
Carlos Karrasco, he's helthly. Yeah, I probably would too. But
that that's a good range. That is you know what
this is gonna do that worry about karma, Frank drafting
Carlos Krashco gives you karma. I drafted him in my
first draft. This is gonna push up the other starting
pitchers in the second and third round, like Bieber is
gonna move up, Snell, Strasburg, Sale, all the guys we
spoke about yesterday moving up absolutely right. When we came
(11:38):
back and touch on Mitch Haniger, We're to play a game. Well,
he loves you. He loves you not want to be

(12:20):
On Times Day Vision of the program before we wrap
up the conversation on clev The nay that I've heard
a lot of people thrown around today on hashtag Fantasy
Baseball Twitter is Adam Savala? What should we know about him?
Frankie Aaron Savali was great last year in the ten
starts that he had in the major leagues two three
four e r A one oh four, whip round seven,
(12:41):
case for nine, solid command, but the underlying numbers were
not great for him last year. Greg four six one
x fit four seven four Sierra he doesn't get a
ton of swinging miss I think that you know that
can actually go off a little bit this year in
terms of the strikeouts. Had A has a great minor
league track record. Seventy four career starts in the miners
three one two ear a one one oh whip three
(13:01):
seventeen ks and three d eighty one and a third
innings pitch. So not gonna get you a lot of strikeouts,
but good command gets groundballs. I like Aaron Sivali. I
don't know why people are just talking about him now.
He's kind of been a sleeper is the entire time.
The underlying numbers for him not great. But on the
surface ten starts that he made last year in the
majors were very good. As you mentioned this, underlying numbers
(13:21):
not great because he actually was like over four. It
was approaching five with two three four years yes before
actually and even in the minors you go back, those
underlying numbers aren't good. Right For the most part, he
has kind of gotten by with smoking mirrors a little bit,
which is how to scare me off of them. But
when he's done it for so long though, you know, right,
he's done it at every level of the man. He
(13:43):
did it in the major and the Cleveland Indians just
know how to get the most out of their starting pitchers.
I think another name you can look at is Zach Plisack.
But his underlying numbers even worse. The strip was over five.
So Aaron Savali before this injury to sixty five in
the NFB C A d P. He's gonna move up
all that much like he had a spot in the
(14:04):
rotation regardless, and now it was like solidified right like
he could have been competing with Police Act. No, he
was gonna be the four in Police AC is gonna
be the five all along. That's why I don't understand
why people are just talking about him now. So who's
in that rotation right now? Carrasco, Carrasco, Biber is gonna
be opening day starter. Let's go, my man, Crash is
not going to I think Biber will be. I bet
you Carrasco is I think Biber Gentleman's let's do it.
(14:26):
Let's go. I'll take Biber there on opening day. And
then they have Savale three, Police Act four and Logan Allen,
John c. San Diego, John Cina Fan came over with
Frand mil Reis last year, he's the five starters. All right,
we'll see what happens there in Cleveland. Speaking of injuries
over the last twenty four hours, was catching up with
some news this morning and I read that Mike Mitch
Haggeger excuse me, Mitch Hanneger could miss the year this
(14:49):
season for the Seattle Marriers bad core injury. There. Yeah,
he had a micro dissect to me, such as a
small repair of his vertebrae and there's no time to
be back injury. Yeah, it's not great. And look, this
guy's dealt with a lot last year. Uh he had
he had like a testicular injury. Yeah, yeah, testicular torsion.
(15:09):
I think he fouled the ball off as he's kind
of good and he basically missed the rest of the season.
So he's had a really tough go at it the
past couple of years. The name to look at Greg
here is Kyle Lewis. Who's that? Kyle Lewis was one
of the top prospects for the Seattle Mariners last year.
I say much there there. He's still considered a prospect,
(15:29):
but he's a power hitter, which doesn't say much because
their system is not very good. Well, I ain't come on.
They're slowly building it back up. Jerry trains everybody, Yeah
he does, but actually do have a lot of prospects Kalenik,
who they got from the mess who are very excited
about uh. And this kid Julio Rodriguez in the outfield.
They're saying he might be the next Juan Soto. So
a lot of people excited about him. But those guys
(15:51):
will not be up this year. I highly doubt that
Kyle Lewis came up last season. Hit six home runs
in seventy five plate appearances. In his barrel rate greg
one three, very small sample size. You can absolutely mash
thirty eight percent strike out right, that's twenty eight He
strikes out a lot. Power is legit. They're saying Jake
(16:11):
Fraley is gonna start in right field for any of
you playing in the Draft Champions right now, deeper format.
But he did have nineteen on runs twenty two stolen
bases last year in the minors, saying he's going to
blee be on the strong side of a platoon in
right field for the Mariners. Have a little interest in
little old Jake Fraley Greg Nope, Greg's got nothing. Nope.
(16:34):
The matter is and Jake Fraley or Kyle Lewis for
that man Lewis man don't sleep just struck out again,
no surprise, there's Kyle loves all right? Anything else? MISSI?
How to get my Clevinger? Anything else on the news?
The day now A pretty much hit it. So it's
now time to play a game we like to call
(16:54):
he loves you, he loves You're not. Here's how this
game works, Frankie, I am going to give you some
stats about a player like those. You are going to
tell me if you love him or you love him not.
(17:17):
This is gonna be an interesting exercise because I'm sure
you're gonna ask you about players that deep down I
probably don't like. It's gonna be an interesting one. Let's go.
Let's I'm just gonna ask you about um some players
that I write down. All right, that's it, let's go. Um.
I had the hardest line drive percentage of baseball last year?
Am I supposed to guest to name? You don't just
(17:39):
like the guy? And then you're trying figure it out
after wor can you tell me what that line drive? Right?
What's no? I don't think that that's gonna help me
figure out who it is he this I would say,
I he had the hardest line drive percentage of baseball
last year's hardest. He's bad. It was three fifty pretty high,
Not really if you leave the league in line drive right?
All right? Fair enough? The home run a five A
(18:00):
ratio for this player eight point seven, not great. It's
hard hit percentage, so I'm sure you were wondering about
that with the lion drive percentage was thirty eight. Okay, yeah, okay,
you don't like this guy. I could say in your face,
what I told you, he's back to back. He has
had back to back season hitting over three hundred. You
(18:22):
have my attention, I have your attention. Batting average is
a scarce category. What if I told you he had
a career high and runs scored last year? He had
over a hundred of those runs a scarce category as well.
Also a scarce category is stolen basis. He stole a
career low basis last year. Mhm. He is thirty over
(18:47):
thirty years old? Do you want I'm not gonna dose
a DP? What do you tell me if you love him?
We love you? Not? Um? Did you mention what the
batting average was? What was it? You do? I'll give
you the batting average, the batting average for him. Let
we pull it back up. I have a guess on
(19:08):
whose player is. I think it was like three oh
three or two mm hmm most runs of his career.
Maybe it wasn't this person. Then? Uh? Do I love
this player? Do you love him? Do you love him not?
I guess I can't settle somewhere in the middle. Huh,
that's not how it works the game. I'm going to say,
(19:30):
I do not love him, you do not love him? Yes?
And my get Can I guess who this is? I'm
gonna guess that it's Michael Branley. He's not Michael Brantley.
Do you want the ADP? Sure A D is fifty four? Why? Yeah?
I don't know that. I don't know if that's playing
in our ears or not. I think it is John.
(19:50):
If you can stop it in our ears, please, all right?
Thank you, buddy? All right? So the ADP as all right,
A DP is fifty four, fifty four, fifty four for
this guy, that's over three hundred. Let the league line
drive percentage had a career high and run scored over
all hundred of those last year. It is not I
(20:14):
said it with so much. You're still out of this
player that you're out you can't draft them. Sure, this
player he is Witnery Field. Oh yeah, I'm out haply.
I'm so happy I said it now. So this is
the exercise that I was hoping that we were going
to get, was that you were going to tell me
all the stats. I was gonna tell you I was
out on a player and it was somebody I love.
So you just makes me look completely on witmen w um.
(20:38):
So he's going to give you a solid batting average.
I think team context is not very good. Obviously with
the Kansas City Royals, the stolen bases have been while
they're solid, they've been trending down as you mentioned. Um,
I just think players in that raining now only trending
down last year. He went up the year before, bases
last year back down. Yeah. Like he's just kind of mad,
you know, Like it gives a good batting air, he
(21:00):
gives you runs, but like, how many of those runs
is he gonna give you in a Kansas City Royals lineup,
even if he hits at the top of that I
really didn't do much in the power department as well.
There's just players going in that range that I'd rather have, right,
like starting pitchers in that range. Um outfield, there's too,
like a Tommy Fan, maybe a Ramoe Loriano, even a
dj Lo Mayhew that I mentioned. You said you're out. Yeah,
(21:21):
I'm I'm out on wit Maryfield alrppy. I got that
one right. So I like this game. This is good.
You love him not, which means it's time for our
next one. He loves you, he knows you're not. All right.
Let's continue on, Frank, here we go. His line drive
percentage was over twenty five percent. Last year, Greig was
(21:44):
deep diving the line drive rates. I had to find
a category to kind of focus on, and that's what
I did, all right. Line driver percentage was over his
walk percentage, it was over. He's bad of on the
year was three twelve is hard hit percentage and a
(22:04):
half percent last year it's pretty good. It was it's
home were in a five all right, nine brutal not
very good. Brutal is o b P last year three
it's pretty good. Is fly ball percentage comparatively to his
(22:26):
groundball percentage is within one percent. Okay, so if I
the deuce here, all right, it's between percent for both
for both, that's correct. Nice job. He's in his thirties,
much like what Maryfield was rank. Do you love him
(22:51):
or do you love him? Not? This isn't This isn't
really the profile type of player that I that I
usually tare, although it's not a bad profile. I mean
it kind of is. It's better for points leagues, like
that's what you're like. These players are better for points
leagues and formats. Um, I'm gonna go with no, I don't.
I don't love this player. You don't love this? All right,
(23:13):
We'll give you one more piece. Here is what have
I told you? His ADPO seven? I love this player.
I love this player. Let's go. He loves him, I
love him, you love him? Official he he loves some
ladies and gentlemen. Frank Staff loves Joey vatdo Oh god, well,
(23:35):
come on, great? Context is everything. I do not love that.
I believe you told me you do. I gave you
the stats. No, he does nothing else, man, what is
it gonna hit your fifteen home runs this year? So
this is why you do need context, because while those
numbers are good. They are a far cry from the
(23:55):
player that Joey Votto used to be, of course, so
it is a steep decline for Joey Votto. Even a
good ballpark, good lineup, he just continues to trend downwards.
I will have zero shares of Joey Botto this. We'll
hang out talk to Florida when we come back. We
love him, he loves us. Not want to be the

He's Frank on Greg Hey, listen, we wanted to you
(24:58):
this personal opportunity to clear the air. Of course, he's
coming on the sports Cared network after his sports Grid
suspension and later firing. It's Michael Flora, Michael, thank you
for taking the time. Thank thank you for having me.
Do you have any I think safe for yourself after
you cheating to the BFS. No, I did not think
(25:20):
you guys were we're gonna bring it to light. I thought,
you know, my secret was safe with you guys. But
I was Mike Fires. You're not my Fires, but you
were not my You didn't blow the whistle? Ah, who
would be the whistle? You guys blew the whistle on
me like I was comly merely threw you into the bus.
(25:41):
And and Frank was Mike Fires. That's what I meant. Yeah,
like he You guys ratted me out so that we
were teammates. Frank played the role of Mike Fires uh
and Jim Crane yesterday and the prob. I can't think
of two people I would rather be right now than
Mike Fires and Jim Crane. I'm sure. I'm sure you can't. Florida.
What's up, man? How are you doing? I'm good, guys,
how are you? We're doing awesome? We're we just played
(26:03):
a game called he Loves You? He loves you not?
Would you would you like to play? Before we get
into some stuff, first, of all this has greg grit
and all over it. But yes, I would love to play.
All right, Sean, you know what that means. It's time
for another He loves he loves you, he loves you.
Not I'm gonna give you stats about a player, Florio Frank.
(26:25):
All you gotta do is tell me if you love
him or you love him not? Have you Valentine's Day?
Let's do it. Here we go. His line drive percentage
was twenty six percent last year. He's babbitt was three sustainable.
Maybe he's k percentage last year sixteen and a half percent.
(26:50):
It's pretty good, all right. It's hard hit percentage. Now
you're looking wonder about that thirty nine and a half percent. Alright,
not bad, not bad bad. Well, we're in a five
all issue nine point six. Lul lulo. He had a
career high in home runs, runs scored and RBI last year.
(27:14):
All right. Those runs scored was over a hundred last
year of category. Man, I think I know who this is.
Don't why I tried that before, Mike, I failed both
of them. That I have two guests in mine. Let
me just let me just finish my stats and then
you can you can tell me if you love him,
And then I think, let me know who you think
(27:35):
you love or don't love. Sorry, um, he played a
career high one hundred and fifty three games last year. Sorry,
a full season for this player. He's in his twenties. Mike,
do you love him or do you love him not?
I think I think this is a high end player. Yes,
(27:57):
I I like those stats. First of all, the hard
hit rate it's very it's solid. That the line drive
rate very solid. And the home run of fly ball right,
that to me was the biggest stat that you said,
that screened regression like and if he has a career
high in home runs with that LoVa home run of
fly ball rate, I think that more power could be
in line. But I guess I'll wait till after Frank
(28:17):
says what he thinks. But I do want to guess
before you reveal the place. But but you right, but
you're in you love, he said, I liked those stats, like,
I didn't hear I love not an answer. It's either
you love him or you love him not. Yeah, he
doesn't say like me love. Yeah, I had to pick.
I lean more towards love or you don't loves me?
(28:42):
He loves me, all right? Is that what you tell
Nicolett at night? Mike? Is that what you say? I
like you? You say I love you exactly all right?
He loves him. I love this player. You love him? Greg?
I love this player. You love him? Mike, Just give
you a little heads up. Last segment, I said I
love the player. It turned out to be Joey Vada.
But he loves him. Okay, I don't love Joe. Mike Flora,
(29:06):
you said, do you think you know who it is?
I had two guesses, but then the in the twenties
later led it to one. Is this Alex Bregman? It
is not Alex Fregman. Do you love this player? When
I tell you his a DP is one fifty six,
I love him even more? Love you love or pluck go?
(29:28):
All right, that's not bad. I had Polo on the
main event draft last year. There you go. I could
get behind that a back end starting shortstop or a
middle endfielder. If you grab someone early in your draft,
you gonna hit the top one of the better lineups
in baseball, maybe the best line up in baseball with
the Minnesota Twins. You're gonna give you a good batting
average doesn't really give you much on the base paths.
I think we always kind of thought he was gonna
(29:48):
take that step to be like a fifteen steals kind
of guy. Probably not gonna happen, but twenty home runs
ish good batting average A lot of believe Frankie, You're
always a person that tells me for your middle midfield
he want speed. You always tell me that. I mean,
you don't have to necessarily pencil yourself instead. I would
like to get speed from my middle infield spot. But
if you don't, then you gotta make up for somewhere
(30:09):
else outfield position. Maybe unless you're in a head to
head league and he just punt steals. Yeah, and this
is he's a great points league player as well. Labor
Tourism planco. I like Hory Polanco, Mikey, you know Horrey Polanco. Yeah,
I've actually drafted him in a draft Champions this uh
this season. I think he's one of these players, Like
he had his best season to date so far, and
(30:30):
a lot of the projections are kind of expecting him
to come back down to earth a little bit. But
I don't necessarily believe that, Like projections have him projected
right now all of them between ninety and nine one runs.
He scored a hundred and seven last year, and if
he's leading off for the Twins, I think he can,
you know, get a hundred plus runs again this year.
I'm okay taking him. I just I do feel the
(30:50):
same way as you, Frank. I typically prefer to get
speed some stolen bases from my middle endfield options, so
he doesn't provide that. But again, where he's going, you know,
as a back end, you could get him if you
wait until like you know, a round rounds ten or
eleven in in the d c's I. Uh, that's where
I believe we got him, and I'm fine with that.
So you're talking about leading off the Twins, Mic, what
(31:13):
about my guy Max Kepler? Well, if even if, all right,
even if they rotate or whatever they do, at the
top of that lineup, that lineup is going to score
a ton of runs this year. I think Polanco is
safe in the runs category. You know Max Kepler, Uh,
he is not a guy that I'm like, all right,
(31:36):
like going into drafts like I need to get Max Kepler,
but he has I haven't actually haven't drafted him anywhere
yet either. But he is a player that multiple times
I've I've considered, I just haven't yet pulled the trigger.
So I guess you could say no. But it's not
like an adamant no. Let me throw this back at you.
He said he wasn't a guy that he isn't a
type of guy that you go into the draft You're like,
I need to get this guy. Who are those guys
(31:58):
this year? You go into the draft and you need
to get this guy? So right now? A lot of
them like hitters wise, the two biggest ones I would
say are probably and I've drafted them in maybe all
of my drifts so far this year. It's uh, Andrew
McCutchen and Justin Upton. I love those two. I actually
sent Franka one of my latest DC drafts and those
(32:19):
are my outfield four h three and four I believe,
and I'm fine with that. I think Andrew McCutcheon is
a guy who can give you, you know, plus Homer's.
I think he's another guy who's gonna score a ton
of runs. He's projected to lead off for the Phillies.
Leadoff hitters last year averaged over a hundred and ten runs.
The Phillies leadoff spot last year produced a hundred and
nine runs, so I think you're gonna get a little
(32:41):
bit of speed home runs runs. I think he's safe average.
And for Justin Upton, I think last year was just
a lost season. He wasn't healthy coming into the year,
never really stayed healthy. And to me, that knee injury,
it looks like it's behind him. That lineup is vastly improved.
I think it's a little bit underrated that lineup. And
I just those two guys right now are great. If
(33:02):
you wait on outfield, you can get them as back
end outfielders. I think they're going way later than they should.
All right, Mike, So now we're going to go to
Greg Sussman's camera right now and show you his reaction.
That's not Greg Sussman's camera. Can we can we go
to this? Can we go to Greg Susman is gone?
(33:23):
He was so piste off by you saying just enough.
And Andrew McCutcheon, he got up and left. He just
left the show. Is that you know how Greig is
hidding me? He doesn't like to have fun. It's fun.
I'm playing a game. It's more fun than justin up. Everything,
everything is more fun than Justin often and Andrew mc cutchen.
(33:44):
Are you crazy? We had Andrew Cutchon on our g
d T team last year and then what happened? Frank Well,
he has suffered an unfortunate injury at a c L
in a in a rundown that is not gonna happen.
All the time you're asking you draft eight already up,
thirty thirty plus year old outfielder. He wants some speed
(34:04):
out of just tours a c L. You gonna want
any speed out of him? What do you want? Eight
stole eight? You're gonna get that. You want Andrew cutting
into to sixty, hit close to runs, and if he
leads off for the Phillies, Greg, He's gonna score ninety
plus runs. Thirty three years old. I'm out. I am
so out. I saw you. We can't be best friends.
(34:26):
I saw you like my two favorite players of all time.
I saw you tweeting about Justin Upton. Yea a knee injury.
He'll come back and be fine. No, hold on a second.
I don't know if you saw the reports, but he's
in the best shape of this. Do you know how
many years in a row justin best shape of it?
In the best shape of his life. He had a
busted knee last year and was sitting on his couch
(34:47):
eating Freedo's. There's no way he was. Look, Greg, all
I'll say is Justin Upton before last year and you're right.
I tweeted it out is three year average to thirty
two homers, been runs. Everybody does that RBI everybody does
and stolen basis. But you know what does everyone do
it at? That's what you have to ask yourself, Greg
(35:10):
us Upton, you get it a great value thirty two
years old, the thirty three in August. I don't want to.
I don't want Justin. I hate Justin Upton so much.
There's no your points leak Florial, How could you like
Justin Upton? So no, Well, Justin Upton is is strictly
a RHADO guy because I'm taking head, said guy. But
I'm telling you, man, my approach this year like and
(35:32):
this team that I'm drafting right now, it's coming out
that way exactly, and I love it. High young, exciting,
high upside pictures. That's what I'm chasing the guys with
the high strike at right, You guys know the pictures
I like and these value under appreciated older hitters Edwin
and carnasci own Justin Turner, these two outfielders. It fits man,
j Ris Davis. Let's go Greg, Justin Turner. Yes, that's
(35:55):
a good one. All right, Well, I want to hear
those pictures. We'll do that next week, hopefully. Mike need
to come back and join us Florida for you the time, man,
No problem, Thanks for having me, all right, welcome back.

gost Gohast, I'll take you all the way. It's a
six pm Eastern time right, you're on sports grade. Frank,
we're knowing baseball for the week. Let's move on to
(36:59):
the end. Yeah, that's we can stop. Actually next week
when it comes to baseball, it's a return, oh Frank
Stamville's whiteboard series where he will go pick by pick.
We's not try to see how how it all breaks down.
You know what pick you want and the type of
guys you can get there. Right now, I'm super interested
in this, and I know a lot of you are
as well. We will start I leave with that on
Monday with the number one overall pick because there's some
questions about who's going to have number one pick, So
(37:21):
we'll do that on Monday. Something that I did want
to bring up to you, why don't we just talk
it on talk it out on the air, is should
we do it like split screen? Do one side for
rohdo one side for head to head? You can do that,
but that makes sense, it might it might change yours.
Split board. I that's what we did for the football
split screen with like you writing it down and then
(37:42):
like my reaction to the pick. Well, we can do
that as well, but I was thinking we do from
two different formats, will do it from like a head
to head points perspective, from a Rhodo perspective. Fantastic, that's great.
You also can do fifth easy leagues, sealth team, like, yeah,
it's just do twelve team is easier. Yeah, but already
people play in twelve team leagues. And now I feel
like you don't think that any more because you're, you know,
a fantasy baseball snob. Now is that true? I don't
(38:04):
think so. I When you give me a DPS, it's
always liked leagues, my mind automatically does translate Sam now
a fantasy baseball snob. This kid, those are the drafts
I'm always doing. Wait a minute, those are the drafts
I'm always don't even make the announcement yet on the air,
speaking as the fantasy baseball snavel over that about dreams
coming true, Yeah we had. I'm surprised we didn't do
(38:24):
it yesterday. We didn't do it yesterday. We forget I
think we had a lot going on esterment. This guy,
the boyhood dream has come true. I wish on I
gave you Vin mctmann SoundBite for that, because it's true.
Because since Frank Snamfele was a little college freshman all
(38:45):
he's ever wanted was the joint Tout Wars, to be
the expert in tot Wars alongside the greatest fantasy baseball
lines ever. I feel like you're mocking me. He would
go to the bar. He would sit there with his
water because he couldn't drink a beer, and he would
watch guys like Scott Angle standing to their computers like this,
(39:08):
He's the king. Don't disrespect the king. They would stand
at their computers. They would fight over what they said
when they didn't, they would fight over the machine not
working properly. To be fair, Nando Dafino did not have
a computer. He was inebriated. He doesn't show. And Frank
(39:30):
went there living the dream. He wanted to be a
baseball expert. He wanted to play in Tow Warris and
in Frank Snaffle's joining tot Wars, the boyhood dream has
come true. Greg, you are correct. The Tow Wars head
to head points twelve team auction, Sunday, March fifteen, two
(39:53):
pm Eastern Time. Absolutely stacked group here, Greg. I'm going
up against ian Con and that's crazy. I'm auctioning against
ian Con twice in a four day span. Well, I
could help you. You're actually right, I know, I know
he's a big shoyo tony guy, right. I just always
assume he's gonna Getyo town. Do you want me to
just like trying to figure out what he's dealing? Yeah, absolutely,
(40:13):
definitely do that. You know wils is joining the league
for the first time. Our buddy Nick Pollock. I saw
that Dan Straffords in the league as well. Strafford is
not in the league. He wasn't. He wasn't at last year.
He isn't a different one that I saw it. So
that Barns in this one, Andrea lat in this one,
Alex Chamberlain, clay Link. Clay Link is a great player
(40:36):
as well. I mean there's a lot of great players.
Ariel Cohen, he does the a TC projections on fan Grass.
So the reason I bring this up for Frank and
the boyhood dream coming true because he tweeted this. I
don't want to get too sappy, but this has long
been one of my aspirations as a college student. I
would head the tow wars to watch the likes of
Nano Da Fino, Scott, the King Angle and l Melki,
(40:58):
or take part in auctions. I got a lot of
likes on that tweet. I look forward to doing the
same about the Batic game with this exquisite group. Get
off for Frenk Staffle everybody. You know, Greg, what are
what are your dreams? What are your dreams? Huh my dreams?
Coach you every day when I get up a crossing baby,
there you go, Yeah, what a what a suck up? Absolutely,
(41:21):
you have hosted game shows here on the network, so
that's got to be pretty close when I when I
hosted the game show in Front of the World on
the NBA Twitch channel, that's the peak of my career.
When I does the real game show. We're talking now. Look, man,
you've already you have got the company to pay for
the game of game show Mike. What's better than that?
(41:43):
You know what, Mike costs a lot of time when
we bought it, When I got it, I mean even
like it. Actually a very excited Greg, as you should
you should be. It's what you wanted to do for
a long time. I'm really happy for you because you
even wanting this, says I've known you. It's always you
always upset the Florida get it in and you didn't
(42:04):
and I wasn't always upset. I was happy for him.
It's not a crossing. I was happy. I don't think yes,
I was a right now, now, who do I root for?
Michael Florio and Craig Mish drafting back to back your
coach on one cheating on's my former co host cheating
a cheating I gotta go with my current cost right,
I don't know what the hell that uh kind of
(42:27):
mish with the current coast. I have to go with
my current coach. You go to that draft and be
like Yo Florio and the view style was knocked over
your mic. There. It's a drafted whole format, Greg, So
it's all online. That's fun. I'll try my best, like
whenever I see Mike on on the clock, when I'll
continuously text him NonStop, where is this? What? Where is that?
(42:49):
Words at the store? Hotel? When? When is that? It's
uh the draft that I'm doing. It's that entire weekend.
But Sunday, March two, Sunday, oh man, So that Greg,
that weekend is absolutely stacks. Thursday we had the g
d D. The reason I asked was, I know Friday
is the tout Wars dinner. Saturday, you get a dinner.
Now this guy gets a dinner, and next year they'll
(43:11):
be putting my face on the money after I win
the change. Oh, you gotta do what What do they
serve you? I have? I don't know whatever's on the menu.
I guess they always have a bunch of different things,
different burgers. And it's like, you're gonna wear like a
tux to this at Folies, Greg, you've been to it.
It's in a bar restaurant. I don't have to. I
can't look like elants look at this guy. Yeah, maybe
I can wear a basketball shorts in a a suit jacket.
(43:32):
I know what knows what the basketball shows round the
table man, I mean no, he has picked up his
like the course of the show had showed everyone I
had a shape like basketball shorts and basketball kicks and
a blazer, and I support it is important anyway, Frank
tout Wars got to shoot some movie. I would have
been there to support you, but unfortunately have plans, so
(43:53):
we're not broadcasting NFBC that weekend. That that Sunday, I
can't that. So I got the g d D auction
with you Thursday Friday. I don't have a draft Saturday.
I have the main event at twelve pm, right, and
then there's this how Wars drafts going on all throughout
that day. And then Sunday, I have the main event
at ten am and then I have the auction after that.
So dude, my weekend is stacked. That's a crazy week
(44:15):
That weekend, crazy weekend. Rank it also Saturday. Congratulations, we
got five minutes left. Let's give out some predictions here
on the NBA. All right, Friday night, we got its
team uh, Team World take on the Team USA. The
what's some line movement? It's opened up at four and
a half. It's up to six. USA favored by six.
(44:36):
Right now, I like the World, don't you? I'm with you?
I mean Luca plays on that team, right yeah, he's
like this, probably cares more about the All Star Game
than he does the Rising Stars Challenge. Let's look through
some of these rosters right now. The World also has
DeAndre Ayton. Seems good. They have r J Barrett Rate Nickla,
Shy Guild is Alexander he loves gil Big. Fans of
(44:59):
s Ruy hotch Amra love that we have nikel Alexander Walker,
Josh Okogie, Brandon Clark. I love. Brandon Clark dropped twenty
seven points the other day, Big Brandon Clark, Moe Wagner,
Nicolo Mellie. All right, maybe USA has a pretty shot here.
USA stacked too, Zion Tyler, Hero, Trey Young, PJ Washington,
(45:21):
Miles Bridges, John Moran, Jaren Jackson, can none, Vonte Graham,
Colins Sexton or Pascal seems good? What are they six
points better? I mean, I don't got to follow the money.
Huh yeah, I think you gott follow the money. The
total in this game, dude, it was at two earlier
to it was at two earlier. Today it's at three
o nine. It's moved eleven points. So the reason why
(45:46):
I remember that is because both of the lines for
the All Star Game and the Rising Stars Game were
exactly the same two ninety and a half. Interesting, and
they've both been moving the All Star Games up to
and a half. And the team Lebron, I haven't Ron
Lebron wiped the floor with the honest in the draft
wipe the floor. Lebron is not losing on a Kobe day.
(46:08):
He's not losing, gonna at least at least five. Yeah,
you're probably right about that. All right, let's go to
All Star Saturday Night. No, I mean this is where
the real fun is that no odds on the slam
Dunk contest over the Vanduel sports books. So we'll start
with these skills challenge. Here's skills challenge earlier in the night.
The favorite to win this one it's Brooklyn net guard
Spencer Dinwittye at plus three eighty, followed by Jason Tatum
(46:30):
at plus four thirty. Frank, who is your favorite? Bet here?
I actually already put a bet in on this, and
to no surprise, it's gotta be my guy. Bam outa bid.
It's fine, He's not your He's definitely my guy. What
Sam has been my guy? He has been our guy?
Fair enough? All right, He's not just your guy. He's
not just my guy, he's our guy both. But here's
(46:51):
what you have to look at, right when it comes
to the skills challenge, you have to find someone who
is young looking to prove themselves. They're hungry when you
get these two for Star kind of guys in here,
like Jayson Tatum wanted last year, I don't think he's
really gonna care much. He wants to defend this crowd.
Chris Middleton. He's like, all right, you know whatever, I'm
just here. I'm an all star, Like whatever is not
(47:12):
gonna care about this. I haven't been on the right winner,
Zygil's Alexander's not gonna care about this either. You haven't
been on the winner, Frank. The ones that I would
bet on are the two long shots. The odds have
changed since we made this graphic, and I'm out of
Bio and your boy the Dominator. The mont odds have
changed since we've been on this. People have been on
Simonus is right now with the Vandal or not venus
of bonus. Rather, they've been on Patrick Beverly. Beverly's odds
(47:36):
are now plus seven fifty at the Vandal Sports Books.
Simonus is now plus nine hundred. The only issue first
for Bam might be hitting the three is the only
thing that gives me pause a bonus. All right, so
we got three points to three point contest. Now the
favorite is Joe how Is plus three Young plus three ninety.
But those are not the answers. The answers is a
(47:58):
guys whose odds dropping right now? You see right there
plus four fifty for sixty. It's now the plus five
hundred with a future winners on the three point shoot
out that he's Dovis Burton's and I actually placed the
wager on Davis Burton's as well, So I'm with you here, Greg.
I'm guessing my bet did not move the line seem
like either direction at plus five hundred. I do like
(48:20):
Davis Burton's and Trey Young Trey Young. Here's why, Greg,
with that mountain dew shot which counts for more. You
know that Trey Young has unlimited range. That's going to
matter in this contest. Trey Young, Remember I said it
the mountain dew shot. Buddy heals Man guy as well,
and I think Sean and Alex downstairs. Pharrell is up next,
and I'll see you on Monday. We hope. I want
