Speaker 1 (00:01):
All right, and welcome into the Fantasy Pros NFL Draft Show.
Today we previewed the top ten wide receivers of the
twenty twenty five rookie class. I'm your host Seth Wilcock,
and today I'm joined by a man who's the play
caller of this particular program, coach Derek Brown.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Ak de bro, what's going on today?

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Pal?

Speaker 2 (00:21):
I didn't know that I inherit oc.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
I'm used to DC play calling duties, but I'm happy
to be here and I'll just turn the play calling
duties over to somebody that's even more skilled than myself
for this program.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Yeah, yeah, absolutely, man. We welcome back an absolute weapon
on the show today. Owner and COO of Fantasy Points,
co host of The First Read, Brett Whitefield, Brett Happy
Saint Patrick's day. Thanks for joining us today. Are you
feeling that irish spirited all?

Speaker 2 (00:48):
My friend?

Speaker 3 (00:48):
Of course I am. I'm irish. I've got the Irish blud,
you know. It's uh yeah, so it's a great day
we celebrate Saint Patrick. Stay in my house.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Okay, yeah, same here. I did my first car bomb
over the weekend. Oh yeah, not a fan. Honestly, wasn't
my best performance ever. Like just a little too thick,
a little too uh, a little too much going on.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Over there, Brett, Yeah, did you chip a tooth? I'm
I'm a shot glass hitting in the face. I was worried.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
I was.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
They told me right before I did, just like beat
me cautious, don't go too fast or that will happen.
So it seems like kind of a little bit of
a balanced delicacy there.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
I can't do car bombs, no, never, can't give me
all the Jamison you got, but not the car bombs.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Twenty years ago. You know they were right?

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Yeah, I feel you, guys.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
There.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
As noted today, we will be breaking down mock draft
databases top ten rated wide receivers and tell you everything
you need to know before investing fantasy draft capital into
these players. And with not knowing how Travis Hunter will
be deployed in the NFL, we excluded him from this list.

the top ten wide receivers. To get our consensus rookie rankings,
all you gotta do is head over to the Fantasy
Pros website. You can get our Dynasty Rookie rankings, the
lais Redraft rankings as well at fantasypros dot com Slash Rankings.
You're gonna get hooked up with our latest ECR for free. Again,
that's Fantasypros dot Com Slash Rankings. Gentlemen, Let's go ahead,

(02:30):
Let's dive into the wide receivers because if you pull
up that ECR at the top of almost every single
rankers rookie wide receivers is Arizona wide receiver Ted McMillan.
The twenty twenty four consensus All American has finished top
five in the nation in receiving yards and back to
back seasons now connecting with quarterback No Fafida for over
twenty seven hundred yards in that span. I think it

(02:52):
with his catch radius, his yards after the catchability, he
is one of the true alpha receivers.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
In this class. But not everyone agrees.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Specific you with tet playing in the Pac twelve and
twenty twenty three, the Big twelve and twenty twenty four brat,
are you in line with consensus that Tet is the
clear wide receiver one of this class?

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Yeah, I'm not only in line with it. I think
there's an ocean between him and number two.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Personally, yes, yes, yes, What are you seeing from TET
that makes him the clear wide receiver one?

Speaker 2 (03:20):
And like, where would he sit compared to last year's class?

Speaker 3 (03:23):
You think, yeah, so last year's class, he'd be right
kind of in the neighbors o'dun's bucket for me, Okay,
I think you can make an argument that both those
guys are better prospects than Tet for sure, but you
traditionally or historically, I should say, you know Drake London,
He's right. He scores very favorably to Drake London for me,
very similar profiles as well. I think what really stands

(03:43):
out for me and I just can't get enough of,
Like the NFL has gone away from the big X
type receiver, and I don't think it's necessarily because they
want to. I think there's not an abundance of skilled
players that are six foot four anymore. Those guys are
now playing edge and tight end and the positions. And
when you get a guy like Ted who is six'
four and has the movement skills and more, importantly the

(04:05):
change of direction skills that he has for the, size it's.
Ridiculous and that's like you see a top notch rout
runner and it's really rare to say that about a
guy that. Size that's WHY i like The Drake london.
Comp if you actually created a spectrum Between Drake london
And Mike evans and, like you, know two different play
styles but similar body, types he falls somewhere between those
guys as far as what he can do on the football.

(04:26):
Field there's a lot more to his game as. Well
he's the traditional, heightweight speed acrobat in the, air can
tested catch, guy but he can also separate at a
really high. Level SO i mean to, me that's why
he's far and away the best receiver in this.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Class De, bro where do you Think teed eventually ends
up in THE nfl? Draft and it sounds like you
potentially also have him as your clear wide receiver one
in this, class.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
Clear wide receiver one in a tier by. Himself people
can miss me with this Whole Matthew golden wide receiver,
one whoever else think your, flavor DON'T i don't really.
Care like he is a plug PLAY x alpha in THE.
Nfl he should be a top five to ten pick
in THE nfl. Draft AND i just think it's, funny,

(05:08):
man when we get all these narratives and people start
talking about the class and, stuff they get so hung
up and they're, like, oh but he's Like Drake, london
but he shouldn't be a top ten pick in THE nfl.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Draft it's, like which one is?

Speaker 4 (05:20):
It you think He's Drake london or you don't think
he's a top ten, pick because both of those things
are not. True, fine if you want to compare him
to T higgins And Courtland sutton and players like, that
THAT i get. That that's not WHERE i fall AND
i kind of question if that's where people are falling with.
Him Like tenoro McMillan moves in a different way than
other guys that are six.' five he should not be

(05:43):
able to move the way that, He Does and brett talked.
About this his immediate acceleration and his start stop ability
at that freaking size. Is special the WAY that i
think you Should view ted and honestly, man like is
he is a plug and play guy That can garner
a one hundred and. Thirty target it's from, day one
and that, to me that's a top ten pick IN the. Nfl,

(06:03):
draft like let's not get. It twisted And, with tet
if you see a guy that's freaking six' five and
can run a, crisp whip route let's tell you all you.
Need to know with, his, shortery agility dude like guys
that are that big. Don't do That they don't and
Players like T Higgins and courtland sutton. Can't do that they're.

(06:24):
Not the same they don't offer the Same. Ability As
yak and i'll take. IT one Further i think ted
is a very Comparable Player to drake london now. WHERE
they were i think that they Are Different is drake
London doesn't have tet's speed. And acceleration IMMEDIATELY that's why
i think that they are different players in The sense
that Teed offers more Yak Ability than drake london DOES.

(06:46):
In the nfl, and you know we could go for
days about, the analytical profile these battle tests that against
man coverage like, we're talking about because not every wide
receiver comes out of college facing a lot. Of man
coverage but you Look at where ted's and it's third
and tenth most man coverage targets of the. Last two
seasons he's top ten in yards per route run against
man coverage in that stretch. In both, seasons so yes

(07:09):
plug and play wide receiver one from day ONE.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
In, the nfl brett where would you take him in
a dynasty rookie? Draft superflex format is he Behind obviously
Probably ashton gent who's gonna be that consensus? One oh
one can you get up to? One oh two or
do you Still Prefer Cam warden shador sanders in that?

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Super flex format he for.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
Sure can get up to. ONE o two, I You
know i'm i'm a it's all landing, spot for me
right if he goes to, the right ocuation if He
Lands in new, england or Gosh? What's another raiders he Goes.
To the raiders How you Feel raiders is I'd Probably
prefer new england because there's, no, target Companies right but
raiders still it's pretty limited And we've seen geno have

(07:48):
have SUCCESS with, like i guess. Bigger Body receivers. But
i'm trying there's another spot that's really, intriguing To Me
and i'm I'm. Blanking, for, Carolina well yeah Carolina again
another oh you know what it was if we were
to believe that, THERE'S some naysayers i think he's going
to slide out to the top if we start to,
play into that and let's just, say we, uh we

(08:08):
agree he's going to. Start to fall like what about
A team Like Denver or green bay trading up? To,
GET him wow i think that's in the conversation of
we'll shoot you Put Him. With jordan love we're cooking with.
Absolute clear here so he for sure would be the
number two player for me. In that scenario what if
he were To, Go.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
To jacksonville brett if He goes to jacksonville and new
team and move.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Btj's it's, ceiling limiting though as A problem with btjj
is just he's, An OUTSTANDING player so i he probably
wouldn't be in the number two conversation for Me in that,
In That scenario mason Graham's.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
GOING to jacksonville i just GOTTA say That i have
i've mocked. It every time i've already put money. Down
on it like that's the hammer of the. Draft, FOR
me yeah I Think.

Speaker 4 (08:49):
He's travis hunter, but you know conversation. FOR another day
i know.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
We're, talking Wide receivers but I've Also mocked mason Graham to,
the jags mostly but the mess combine were. Sort of
weird they were kind of Off putting because michigan was
listing him as at three hundred, and fifteen pounds and
so when you watch his tape, and, you're like oh
that's the profile we're getting, at three. Fifteen that's ridiculous
but now like two ninety six with, some length turns that's.
A little frustrating I could see mason slipping just.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
A few, spots, but, okay yeah okay well something To
consider as i'm working on my mock draft. Two point
zero hopefully it will be out next week on. Fantasypros
dot com next up is one of the biggest risers
up draft boards over the. Past three Months Texas longhorn
matthew Golden transferred From houston to austin. This past year
he was Consistent playmaker for sarks offense, down the stretch

(09:38):
posting one hundred and sixty two YARDS In the sec
Championship game against georgia another one hundred and forty nine
Yards In the Peach Bowl. AGAINST arizona state i thought
he had elite speed when he got the ball, in
his hands specifically. On crossing routes it TRANSLATED To, the
nfl combine where we hit an absolute gainer forty two
to one on him to run the fastest forty, at
the position clocking in at four point. Two nine, seconds

(10:01):
de bro where do you stand on the former four
star recruit following that Impressive Performance At.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
Lucas oil stadium.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
He is my wide receiver five. Of this class people
could be. SURPRISED by That. I like, Golden i mean
i'm not going to double count the fact that you
know what he ran. AT the combine i think it. Was,
very impressive now was he faster in that TIME than
when i?

Speaker 3 (10:23):
Saw?

Speaker 4 (10:23):
On FILM yeah some i thought that he was, Gonna
BE fast, but i mean we can again quibble about how.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
FAST he, IS.

Speaker 4 (10:31):
I mean i just think his game is really easy
as far as how it TRANSLATES. To The nfl and i'm.
Gonna kick this I'm gonna ask brett. A question here
out of the, last few CLASSES you and i had
had a talk iMobile, about a GUY and when i describe,
All of this i'm hoping that you pick Up on
when i'm, Putting, down here brett but player that. Was
incredibly fast you didn't like him a ton because while

(10:54):
he is a, fantastic route runner not gonna break a,
lot of tackles not offering you A ton of yeah
act he came OUT.

Speaker 3 (11:01):
Of the, u oh god this is.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
My, comp form yeah THAT'S exactly who I see When I. Watch,
golden man like maybe he's a little bit Faster, than
a lave but they win. In similar ways it's all route.
Nuanced route running he's not. Gonna break. Tackles you know
we could question about size and his ability in the
red zone and. Things like that there are differences, to
their games BUT that's who i see A lot When I.

(11:23):
WATCH matthew, golden i mean do you, see Something, Different.

Speaker 3 (11:25):
BRI it no i see a Lot. Of chrysal. Lave
for sure that's not my current working. Comp for him
but as far as like the, vertical route tree his
salesmanship at the top, of his, routes the, feints the
fakes all that for Sure. Resembles chrisol lave i've Been Going.
With jordan addisons it's a. Good one too he's A
ball within he's a, great route runner Similar, to chrysal
lave but he's a ball winner. In the air and

(11:47):
that's the thing that really impressed Me Most, about matthew
golden which is funny because he's like five eleven, one
ninety dude he's an acrobat, in the. AIR ridiculous contortionistability
i Didn't, SEE like debro i didn't see four two
speed necessary, tape at least that's not. How HE plays
and i think that's. A good thy i actually think it's.
A good thing so people Are Gonna think i'm. I'm
dogging him like typically guys that, are that fast they

(12:08):
don't have the Route Nuance that. Matthew golden does he's,
a much, better you, know route runner very technical in.
What he does but his body control and the contortion
is to building. In the air that's what really stands
out like because now he can beat you a. Variety
of ways he can generate, a big separation or he
can just go be a ball winner, in the air
which is kind of the new mold wide RECEIVER. In
the nfl you Look At, Like Stefan, Diggs Justin, jefferson

(12:30):
jamar Chase They're All Aman. Ross saint brown they're all right,
around that size right, five to eleven six foot two
hundred pounds. Two oh five but they all win the
ball in the air and they're great in contested situations despite.
The SMALLER frame So i think golden kind of compares favorably.
To those guys maybe if we had a little bit better,
resume with him we'd be a little. Higher on, him
in GENERAL he's my i think he's my wide receiver four.

(12:51):
In THE class but i really, do LIKE him and
i think in, a weaker class he's a guy who
PROBABLY plays better nfl football than we saw him playing at. The,
COLLEGE level yeah.

Speaker 4 (13:00):
I agree wholeheartedly with THE the better nfl, PRODUCTION and
dude i just honestly think that's A That's a. QUINN yours,
conversation i mean we could talk about like the last
few years For all, the texas guys all, Their skill players,
like you know some, of these guys because of the
quarterback play that they're saddled, with in college can really
hurt like what they look like on paper from an

(13:21):
analytics and, a production standpoint because you just like Watch you.
Watch golden's tape we're Gonna Talk about isaiah bond later,
in this episode but both of them it's just.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
Like yours just.

Speaker 4 (13:32):
HEEING it man i mean you could see a lot of,
times Where yours Like golden and bond are running down the,
field wide open and, YOURS is like i ain't thrown
that ball forty yards down. Down the field, that's.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
Not happening bro it.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
Also doesn't help that the year before He, was WITH
houston who i don't know if you guys watch A lot,
of houston football but not the most entertaining brand of
offense by any means, that they, are you know a
very much, ground and pound win with defense. Type OF
program so i can understand why that would hurt, his
you know overall production profile coming. Out, of college brett
do you think he is a? First round pick, but
you know after, all this steam do you think he's

(14:06):
probably in maybe not even, top twenty five Top twenty.

Speaker 3 (14:08):
T he doesn't score that, way for me necessarily more of.
A high two but WE know the nfl overdraft speed and.
They overvalue it, HE'S gonna, like i think like Eighteen,
to the seahawks actually maybe Twelve. Of the cowboys people start,
having the, CONVERSATION ye yeah I agree with seahawks To
go with cup like they need some some. Vertical explosiveness

(14:29):
badly when You Talk about COOPER cup and jsn who
are both, good route runners but they're not guys are
gonna really. Stretch you out so at a certain point,
they you know someone will. Take the, BITE you. Know
i don't it's maybe, hard to predict but somebody will
for sure. TAKE the Bite i think seattle Is. A
floor brett i. AGREE with You.

Speaker 4 (14:47):
I think dallas the teams inside the top twenty that
make the most sense For me For, Golden, is Dallas
seattle and i'm Gonna. Throw out arizona they need somebody
to feel Too.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
Great fit yeah Him With with michael wilson and would.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
Just.

Speaker 3 (15:00):
Be awesome.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
Yep love it at, wide Receiver Three It's, missouri's luther
burden who was a lot of analysts wide receiver one
coming into the twenty twenty four. College, football Season however
with miszoo underperforming as A Whole quarterback brady cook in
and out, Of the lineup burden's production from a yardage
standpoint nearly cut in half, this past year even being
out gained By his, Counterpart, Theo weese Brett i've seen

(15:24):
burden mocked anywhere from as high as top ten to outside.
The first round where do you have the six foot
two hundred six pounds going and how do you think
his game translates to.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
The next level i'm.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
A little confused so THE first time i was, on
the show you did this TO me where i thought we,
were talking something. And we talked we didn't talk. ABOUT
metal bands i Thought, that's what hey you WERE talking
about nfl caliber. Wide Receiver prospects so i'm Just why
is luther burn? On the list. I'm just, confused.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
Oh no the internet's not gonna be, Happy.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
With you brett oh.

Speaker 4 (15:58):
They're really not gonna BE happy when i jump in.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
This, conversation either well.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
A little, sung in cheek. Little and cheek i'm not
At Low. On luthor BURTON he's an. NFL caliber prospect
i just don't. GET the hype i do think, the,
draft community though is wised up. A little, bit i've,
seen you know GUYS like and i don't pay a
ton of, attention To This but daniel jeremiah has not
been mocking him IN the First i believe brugler left
him out of the first In his last so the
guys at the top of the community are are kind

(16:23):
of coming around the Fact that maybe burden's not as
good of a prospect as we initially. Sold you on
but here's The. Deal with, burton for me man, his
production profile which is what everyone cites when they're talking
about twenty, twenty three production. It's completely fraudulent we have
not seen a player in recent memory have a production
profile that was so reliant on screens and slot fades

(16:47):
As We. Have luthor. BURDEN it's disgusting i charted every
single catch this guy had over. The last years he
didn't have a single reception on. An inbreaking route nothing
He does at missouri as a route runner TRANSLATES to
the nfl. Level at all everything he does is. After
the catch everything he does is. This vertical plane and
for those, that Don't know and i've given this spiel on,

(17:09):
my own show so if you've, ALREADY heard. Me i
apologize but at, the college level you have a basically
it's a market inefficiency where you have these extra wide
hashes and defense is pretty much primarily, play quarters coverage
and so offensive quarters have figured out we're gonna put
our best guy, in the slot and we're going to
allow him to go get a two wigo against a

(17:30):
safety with, his you know basically sitting on his heels
because he's. Scared to death you're about to rip a
poster or a corner. Route on him and That's exactly
what Missouri Did. With luthor burdon it's was one of
my complaints With Guys like Elijah Moore and Wandel robinson and,
tutu at well same production profile, as those guys and
that dolls aren't really working OUT. In, The nfl, right

(17:51):
So Yeah so luthor burdon all of his production screens,
and slot fades he doesn't know how. To run routes
yet he's a very good after the catch player and
that's where. He translates, best right now get Him In
a kyle, shanahan style offense, Maybe you know houston at
the end of the second round. SOMETHING like that i
feel really comfortable, with Him there maybe miami somewhere in
the second. OR third round i feel comfortable with him

(18:12):
there as a, first, round player though COMPLETELY absurd and
i just don't see. It, at all, well de.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
Bro it sounds like you're kind of in, the same
boat especially probably from a fantasy lens where at one
point this guy was being mocked in a lot of
rookie drafts, one oh four, one OH five and i
thought it was. An Egregious overpay and i'm out at
consensus even in the first round.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
Of rookie, drafts, i'm Out.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
Yeah did he's not a.

Speaker 4 (18:36):
First round prospect he should not go in the first round.
Of Rookie Drafts, luther burden brett where do you have?
Him ranked that i've got him at? Wide, RECEIVER seven
yeah i.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
Have, Him Eight yeah.

Speaker 4 (18:46):
Like i've toyed with like pushing him a, little bit
lower like an. EIGHT or NINE i just i Am
not a burden stand and for all the reasons, that
you mentioned and people talk about the production profile and
how he, dipped like that that doesn't matter to. ME
at all i just want to throw, that OUT there
like i don't. Care about that that doesn't. Matter To
me like i'm looking at the archetype. Of the player
and we talked about this before we turn the mics

(19:07):
on and. Everything, like that please when You Talk, about
Luther Burden, get Zay Flowers get dj moore, out you
mouth these are. Not comparable players these are not. The
same guy they don't win in. The same ways they don't.
Have comparable games just because you're talking about an athletic
guy after the catch Does Not. Making luther burden just
because you're talking about another guy of, a similar build

(19:29):
they are not. The same archetype they played. ON The
outside dj moore played on the. Outside in college both
of them. WERE Route runners dj moore was a little
bit more raw ENTER. In the nfl but still they're.
Not Comparable, players luther burden like For everything that, brett
talked about he runs out. Of the slot they got Him,
free on like there's so. Many different ways, and for
me when you look at guys GOING, into the nfl

(19:52):
give me the, GUYS that were i can just ask
you to go play traditional wide receiver like. THOSE guys
were i can put you, ON the boundary i can
p you out there and just go. Route dudes up.
That's not burden burden is gonna have to go somewhere
where you're gonna it's. Gonna be gimmicky you're gonna have
to get, in free releases whether that's, motion rub routes,
the formation bunches things like that like that kind of

(20:14):
stuff is going to have to happen to HIM. In
the nfl that's all he freaking. Saw.

Speaker 3 (20:18):
In college dude that's. A great point so like For
me when i'm, doing my evaluations one of the things
that really elevates guy's scores for me.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
Is.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
Positional, versatility right yeah we talked about A guy, like
ted McMillan who he PROFILES as, an ex, receiver a
throwback but you can also play HIM as. A z
receiver you can also move him in the slot as
that big. Power Slot Guy, with luther burden he's basically
a slot only type and that limitation automatically takes him
out of the first round, conversation for me unless he
was so special at that that it was a, can't

(20:48):
miss situation and it's just. NOT for me i also
have TWO crazy stats i want to throw, at you.
Guys oh place over the, Last Two seasons luthor burden
only has three hundred and thirty three receiving yards when
lined up outside bottom in my, top twenty guys and
then fifty five receptions where the depth of target was deeper.
Than five yards, For comparison's sake teed McMillan one hundred

(21:09):
And Thirty. NINE jaden higgins i GOT another guy, i
really like one hundred And Twenty nine matthew golden even
had more and he only played One, Year AT texas,
like i, Mean it's ridiculous like his profile, is so
fraudulent and it's really interesting to See Because like Scott Barrett,
at fantasy points he's a he has a really. Really
good model. It's super predictive scott has this inate ability

(21:31):
to not watch a single play of tape on any
guy and he can still be pretty directionally accurate on.
All of them and His, model hates burden like just.
Completely crushes it so the Film tells me burden's. Not
very good the top guy DOING models, that i know
prospect models also says. IT'S not good i think it's
safe to say that he's probably.

Speaker 4 (21:49):
NOT very good i agree with everything He, laid out
brett and The last thing i'm gonna throw Out, there
For burden because i've heard, this TALKED about and i
don't want to be very very, clear about this and
this goes back to like how we evaluate prospects and
just the, context Of players because i've heard this is
The pushback for burden when people talk about. His route
running to say you have really good movement skills does

(22:12):
not mean that you will be or that you are
a very. Good route runner these are very different. Conversations,
to have sure and just because you have really good
movement skills does not mean that you will emphatically turn
into a. Good route runner those are very different, things
to say very different. Things To say so i'm not

(22:34):
going To make the i'm not going to make the
mental leaps or perform the mental, gymnastics, to say oh
because this guy IS athletic or i, Really like him
i'm just going to say that he will become a.
Good route runner you are absolutely and one unequivocably talking
out a turn when, people, say that like you will
not catch.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
Me SAYING that and i think the Funny thing about
burden Too is watching. MASZOO this year I REMEMBER that
TEXAS a, and m, game you Know speaking to brett's
point about a low eight ot he finally caught like,
a long, bomb you know a seam right down the
right side, of the field and then it. Got called
back missouri ends up. Getting blown out this game. Wasn't even,
close they, were you know supposed to. WIN that one

(23:13):
i lost a lot of, money THAT day And i,
remember i'm like that's The first time I've Ever seen
luther burden catch a long bomb and it. Got called, back,
SO yeah yeah i think that kind of just goes
to show that maybe isn't that type of player that
we're looking for when it comes to a dynasty or
redraft perspective. In fancy football before we. Keep it moving
if you want a chance to win A Signs To

(23:34):
Von diggs Texans Jersey or free curtsey Our friends over pristine.

Acclaim Your prize ohio state's a Wide receiver a mecca

(23:58):
abukas at wide receiver. Four for us this is a
very shifty slot wide receiver can also line up as
the flanker in two. Wide receiver sets he can beat
you both. Short and deep the, six foot one two
hundred and two pounder posted over twenty eight hundred yards,
in his career ranks twenty fifth all Time In career
big ten receptions with two hundred and five, great run

(24:19):
blocker great teammate, by all accounts could get him Drafted.
Early come april but the only issue is that he
never led the team. In receiving yards playing with some
all time Greats Like, Marm Harrison, JUNIOR, Jeremiah Smith, Jsn Chris,
olave garrett wilson the list goes on and. On and
on de bro A Lot like justin jefferson when he
was COMING. Out at lsu Can you forgive abuca for

(24:42):
never being the true Alpha?

Speaker 2 (24:44):
For, the, buckeyes Yeah dude because.

Speaker 4 (24:46):
BOOKA'S good man i don't get really caught up in
a lot, Of THAT stuff, like i understand, like you
know earning market share of targets and, THINGS like that
a lot of that gets really muddied whenever you play
with a lot of other freaking. Studs in, college you
know we could we want to dice that up and.
THINGS like that i think some of that also comes
back to like offensive design, and you know again different

(25:07):
in a much more nuanced conversation for. A different day But,
WITH it buka i think contextually the type of player,
that he is it's really easy for me take whoever
you love as far, as route running and maybe they're,
an okay athlete not a SPECIAL Athlete Like, Jsn Keenan.
Allen robert woods this is the architect of player we're
talking About. With a buka, it's route running it's just freaking,

(25:30):
getting open man and he gets open, for days man really.
Deep release package you can put him. IN the slot
i think he. Can play outside he's probably not gonna
be an outside like primary PLAYER, in the nfl like
probably like sixty percent at least. In the slot maybe
a little bit higher being on team fit and. Stuff like,
that but again this is a guy that's going to get.
Open for days he's probably not going to give you

(25:52):
A ton in yak and. Tackle BREAKING ability now i
know in saying, all of that he was TOP sixteen
in yak and two of his final. THREE collegiate seasons
i do think that another point of context is the
ankle injury that he had in. Twenty twenty three he needed.
Tight lit procedure, so For me When, I'M watching igbuca
i watched a lot of twenty TWENTY two and i
watched the late season twenty. TWENTY four tape i kind

(26:15):
of threw the early twenty twenty four tape kind of,
in the trash just coming back from tightrope and knowing
a lot of guys don't come.

Speaker 3 (26:21):
Back and hit.

Speaker 4 (26:21):
The ground running we've seen THAT in the nfl enough
that YOU know where i Didn't feel like i'm getting
the Best version or i'm really seeing, his SKILL set, but,
i mean yeah that's that's THE way that i Look,
At at buka and like ANOTHER reason why i kind
of push Back on like i'm not telling you that
this class is full of elite, wide RECEIVER prospects but
i think it's better than people, give IT credit because

(26:43):
I think a buka is going to go in the
second ROUND of. THE nfl, draft i think depending, on
the situation we're talking about a player that, you're gonna
earmark if not, this upcoming season but in the next
like two, to three seasons he's going to, be a
consistent like very strong wide receiver TWO for an nfl
offense and earning like somewhere in the neighboro one hundred
and twenty targets, and for me that's a player we should. Be.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
Excited about brett where do you stand on a mecca
and do you think you can maybe get into that?

Speaker 2 (27:07):
First round conversation?

Speaker 3 (27:09):
COULD he sure i think some of the freegent and
trade moves that have happened have maybe OUTMINATED that because
i think one of the better same spots For, him
was pittsburgh.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
Perhaps AGREED that's where, i was Mocking or The rams.

Speaker 4 (27:21):
Or houston all of him, address wide receiver so he
crushes him in. The first round.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
Rams could definitely still be in the mix because they
do you can, see it slot although they're paying too
to out well ten million, dollars this year which. Is
really yeah so Here here's where i'm at. On a
mecca so he profiles for me as like a power slot.
TYPE wide receiver i know he only weighed like two
hundred pounds. OF the combine i think he was light
because he was going to try. To run fast he
ended up not doing a lot of, testing, In GENERAL

(27:45):
right but i do think. He Plays heavier ohio state
traditionally listed him at, about TWO fifteen so i think
he is that more, power slot profile and you see
it in the. Way he plays. He's super tough the.
Guy exudes toughness he is a, good route runner but
it's mostly. DISMANTLING zone coverages i wouldn't say he's a man.
Beater at all the way he runs with. Like significant

(28:06):
tempo he is A really. High iq player he kind
of just has a great feel for when to, push
crossing routes when to. Set him down he's also fantastic,
after the catch and the toughness really comes out, after
the catch where, he will fight scratch and claw. For
every inch he's. A chain mover my working com for
him Right Now, is rushie rice WHERE it's Like i

(28:27):
think rashie, profiled very similarly where he played a lot
on the, outside in college but his best work was done.
In The slot kansas city obviously agreed with. Me on
that He Goes to kainsas city as this just uber
dynamic zone crusher who you get the. Ball In space
he's he's getting a ton of yards after. CATCH breaking
tackles I see a mecca profiling very favorably to that ROLE.

(28:47):
In the nfl i'm not saying he can't play on.
THE outside either i do think he has limitations with
his vertical route tree from the outside where IT'S like
the roi on him being an outside wide receiver pales
a harrison to what you're going to get with him.
In the slot, so it's like there's just not a reason.
To do. It to me you mentioned two, wide, receivers
that yeah sure he. Can play it he can stay
on the field for two. Wide receiver. Sets that's fine

(29:09):
maybe some, are reduced alignments Kind of how cooper cup
WAS used in la last year where he did get
a lot of reps, on the outside but there were from.
THOSE reduced Alignments i think egbuga can do all. Of,
Those things also i'd BE remiss if i didn't talk
about the. Guy's catch radius he's a quarterback's, best friend
there especially for who does most of his damage in
the middle of the field where it's. Congested and dangerous

(29:30):
he's not going to. Let you down the ball, comes
his way he is getting. Hands on it he makes
absolute crazy adjustments, just like that like a bullet thrown seven.
Yards behind him somehow he's getting his. Hands on it doesn't. Make,
any sense yeah for A quarterback like, I think of,
like you know A Guy like bryce young could use
somebody like that In His. Replace, Adam thielen yes and

(29:54):
the problem is is they have so they they have
so many guys that don't have any juice. As it,
is it's like we please get someone with. Some freaking,
athleticism yeah, PLEASE but yeah i mean a young quarterback's.
Best friend verses you just rely on this guy to
haul and pass after, pass after pass and in, the
right system he could be a really. HIGH volume guy i, Agree.

Speaker 4 (30:14):
WITH you brett i think, Like Top forty like i'll
stare at all these teams at the top of, the,
second round like Send, him to cleveland Send, them to
Tennessee sen, the jacks still Send Him the new england
any one of.

Speaker 3 (30:24):
Those, four Teams, yes go chicago And we Know. Ben,
love icago yep that'd be a great. Spot. For him
yep agreed.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
Until Proven otherwise like i'm just gonna keep taking. Swings
On these brian hartline developed wide Receivers in, THE ohio
state i mean.

Speaker 4 (30:39):
Professional wide receivers.

Speaker 1 (30:40):
No one deserved that job as offensive Coordinator More. Than,
BRIAN hartline like i was so happy that, he, got
promoted man because he has been just, doing you know
the lord's work out there developing a wide receiver prospect after.
Wide receiver, Prospect so yeah i'm gonna keep taking MY.

Speaker 3 (30:54):
Shots on buca the only thing annoying about heartline is
the next guy is Always the best. I've ever coached
we know that's not true, AT least.

Speaker 1 (31:02):
Well, I, mean dudes, britt come on he's, right about,
It You, know jeremiah smith that might be the best
fide receiver.

Speaker 4 (31:09):
Prospect ever ever, oh come on oh the Wide Receiver
you meg trump.

Speaker 1 (31:15):
Two years book mark this two, Years, from now brett
we'll be back Here Breaking down jeremiah smith potentially going
first overall because that guy's. An absolute, weapon, next up
though is one of my flag plant prospects in. This
draft class stanford wide Receiver Lk. A o mannor playing
in one of the worst offenses, in the country the
twenty one year old posted back to back seasons of

(31:36):
sixty two plus receptions.

Speaker 2 (31:38):
And six touchdowns his.

Speaker 1 (31:39):
Claim to fame includes that twenty twenty Three Matchup against Travis,
hunter of colorado where he went, for thirteen receptions two or,
ninety four, yards three touchdowns and an overtime thriller Win.
For the cardinal he also posted a nine point six
seven relative athletic SCORE At the nfl combine after running
a four point four to four second forty yard dash

(32:00):
at six foot two hundred. And, SIX pounds brett i
know we talked earlier in the process and you were
all the way in.

Speaker 2 (32:06):
On the twenty.

Speaker 1 (32:07):
One year old do you feel the same after the
impressive Showing.

Speaker 3 (32:11):
Out, in indieapolis, no you know him testing as an
elite athlete really. Pissed me, Off, I'M out NO i
just i love that this this thing tends TO happen
when i. Do wid Receivers it's like i'm early on
a guy, and then, yeah you know test bettering people.
Think and, Whatever so yeah, Elick is. Dude he's awesome
we could we'll go through, his SKILL set but i

(32:32):
THINK the thing i love about him the most is
the culture fit. That he is like he is like
everyone Loves The way pukin nakua plays. Hair on fire this.
My last Play that's how elec plays. Every single snap
and he did it on. A bad team imagine this
guy's on a winning playing winning FOOTBALL. In the nfl
the level of effort he's going. To give you one
of my favorite plays he had was as a run

(32:53):
blocker where he literally bounced a corner. Out the club i'm.
Talking twenty yards he bench pressed this dude and then
threw him out of bounds like just you're out, of
the play, Like you're done you're not. ALLOWED back in
i love it every play he plays with. That free
ferocity so but from a, skill, set standpoint man big rocked.
Up muscular frame you see the work he puts in

(33:15):
with his body that gives that always gives me like
a high level of confidence that this guy's going to
do yeah, not you know like it sets the. Floor
pretty high the expectations of him being a hard. Worker
are there you hear what people. Say about him. He's
incredibly intelligent, he you know he checks all those. Hard
work boxes but he's like HE'S a traditional x type
receiver that can also be your power slot if. You

(33:35):
need To but at stanford he was basically pint, to
the boundary asked to run. THE vertical plane i think
he is the deepest resume in the class, by a.
Lot beating press, for whatever reason teams tried to compress
him and it didn't work out too well for, them
Any Time, Including Travis hunter travis hunter got absolutely body
in twenty TWENTY, three AGAINST elc a U minor who
i think had one hundred and seventy plus yards and

(33:56):
three touchdowns. In that game so he was the one
player in college Football That beat travis hunter several times in. The, same,
game so. Yeah he's awesome he's, a route winner he's.
A ball, winner you know does he have room to
grow as?

Speaker 4 (34:08):
A route?

Speaker 3 (34:08):
Winner for sure we didn't see him run like a
lot of dig, routes for example, or you know not
even a lot. OF slant routes a lot of it.
Was purely vertical he gets a lot OF free what
i call free yards because he's so good at. His
release package he can play in the DB's blind spot
and then his ability to slam the brakes and stop
on a. Dime a great so you get a lot
of like HITCHES where the dB. Goos flying by he's

(34:29):
a lot of like. Throw by techniques he's built. IN
Free yards dk metcalf gets a lot of similar, yards
that way where it's like the vertical stuff is so
threatening the way he attacks the outside shoulder that you're
forced to give him the underneath and he's going to
rack up a lot of free YARDS. In, the nfl
deebro where are You?

Speaker 4 (34:46):
AT ON eleck i I don't like elick As much
AS brett Because i know brett's over the, Moon FOR
him but i, really. LIKE him Man i think eleck's
a very, Good player man like you want to, TALK about.
AGAIN i agree i think that he doesn't get enough
credit for the route running that he has and his
ability man like. VARIED release package I love how brett talked, about,
it because dude it, was a lot a ton. Of

(35:08):
downfield stuff like we're talking about a player that over
the last two years, fourteen point two fourteen point. One
a dot so when you look at how some of
these guys are deployed in college and it affects not
only does quarterback play, fall INTO this because i think
that we can have a very long conversation about quarterback
play and ball placement influencing contested catch rates as WELL

(35:32):
as just yak and. Things like, that like so when
you're used down the field like THAT and your aot, is,
so high yeah you're not gonna probably have a great
profile IN terms of yak because a, lot of times
unless the quarterback is leading you perfectly hit. YOU in
stride a lot of those balls are not gonna be
where you're taking it, to the house or it's twenty

(35:53):
more yards on top of like. A deep target so
again giving some of the analytics. More CONTEXT here But
i like, elick a, LOT man, LIKE i think i
don't think he's a Very dynamic, like YAK threat. BUT
i do I agree with brett as far as the physicality,
can break tackles especially when guys come, at him high
like he's just throwing dudes. Off of him but you

(36:13):
see that a lot with the. Taller wide receivers if
guys go for the, legs and stuff maybe you can.
Get HIM down But i think elick the big things
FOR me is i think he's a much better route
runner than people give. HIM credit for i understand that
he has an eight point seven or higher drop rate
of the. LAST two years i think he's got solid,
Hands man like i'm not that. Worried About, That but
brett i'm curious about what do you think about his

(36:34):
drop rate over the, last TWO years Because i think
i'm not that worried ABOUT it because i, think the
technique as far AS from what i can tell on
film looks, solid to me and you see this guy
make so many special plays outside, of his frame whether it's,
with body control but also like you got to not
only have, the body control but you got to have

(36:54):
the hands to sit here and come down with some of.
These freaking catches and if, YOU'RE doing. That i can't
i'm willing to throw the drop rate out, the.

Speaker 3 (37:01):
Damn, window dude yeah pretty much all of his drops
are concentration drops where it's like he's running before he.
Catches the football if the end point on any given play,
is THE catch he i don't think he dropped a
SINGLE pass, like, i mean honestly like whether it's an
end zone fifty to fifty ball or a, back older
ball like if the end result of the if the
play ends with the point, of the catch he doesn't

(37:22):
have to. Worry about running. HE'S been fine i think
there's players with far worse hands in this, Class for
sure and it's pretty much. Always, just, HIM like honestly
i think three of his drops last year around screens
or just, like oh shoot mess, that one, up You
know like. Jamison button. Style you know it's.

Speaker 1 (37:38):
Also it Doesn't Help that ashton daniels is one of the.
MOST inaccurate quarterbacks i mean to talk about. Some tough
tape that's some tough tape that guy.

Speaker 2 (37:45):
Put.

Speaker 1 (37:46):
Out there brett is he still a first round? PICK
for you i know when we talked to you Prior To,
the senior bowl you had maybe as a back half
of the first Round guy someone. Gonnabe sneak in do
you think from, a betting perspective we should Maybe be
betting elec to go in the first round or maybe
he hit his un when.

Speaker 2 (38:00):
That, gets released.

Speaker 3 (38:01):
Yeah that's a good idea. Of the under i'm guessing
that'll come in, around like. Fifty, you know okay so
he doesn't score technically as a first round, player FOR
me but i think he's like twenty fifth. ON my
board i only have what twenty or twenty one, first
round grade, so you know, by my math he should
go in, the first round even though it's, you know,
back you know back. Ten or, So You know green

(38:22):
bay at twenty three would be just an absolute night.
Spot for him they need to go to. RECEIVER in
general i think that's the thing that's kind of plagued
them the last two years is they've been playing the
moneyball approach. At wide, receiver you know four or five
six man rotations even, when everyone's healthy and it just.
Doesn't really work quarterbacks. Don't like that. They need continuity they,
need That, CONSISTENT reliable hey i know the exact depth

(38:44):
you run on that route at we. Have THAT connection
so i think that'd be a great. SPOT for Him
i think houston To go With kirk and collins would Be.
A great yeah but so there are landing spots at
the end OF the first i think. That makes sense
i'm not, necessarily PREDICTING that but i do think if
he were to go in the first so it would
be one.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
Of those teams at, wide receiver Six It's. Old Miss,
rebel trey harris the, fifth Year SENIOR dominated conference usa
early in His career With. Louis and atteck he then
was the Perfect Fit for, lane kiffin's offense finishing FIFTH
in the sec and receiving yards in twenty twenty three with,
nearly one thousand then second in, twenty twenty four going

(39:20):
over one thousand yards in just. Eight games played. This
Past season debro hairs certainly isn't the fastest wide. Receiver
this class he clocked in just around a four point
five to four. Second forty time but he's as good
as it gets to me when it comes to. Possession
wide receiver where do you? Have him ranked roughly six
weeks AWAY From.

Speaker 4 (39:38):
THE nfl draft i know this is THE guy that
i earmarked on this Show sheet THAT brett and i
are going to have the. BIGGEST division on i already, know.
WHAT'S coming Dude I, love TREY harris and I know that.
Brett Does not trey harris is my wide receiver two.

Speaker 3 (39:50):
In.

Speaker 4 (39:50):
THIS class oooh I Really. LIKE trey Harrison i know brett,
doesn't like him but we're going to. GET into it
i you look at. THE analytical profile i, mean. IT'S fantastic,
DUDE i mean o last two years he's been first
and ninth and yards. Per route run you look at
man coverage first and eighteenth in yards per route. Run
against it he. Can break tackles he was also TOP
twenty in yak per. RECEPTION last year i think he's

(40:11):
got a well, rounded. SKILL set dude i think he's a.
GOOD route Runner i know brett is going to disagree with,
me ON that But I. Like trey harris MAN like
although i don't think that. HE'S a burner i even
wrote this up in my PROFILE before. THE nfl combine
i thought he had four. OR five speed i think
he has enough route nuance and build up, speed, to
where fine we're not going to ask him, to go

(40:32):
out go down there and win on nine routes, every
single time ESPECIALLY in the nfl against four, To three
corners but can you get him on, a deep over
can you get him on posts?

Speaker 5 (40:40):
And?

Speaker 4 (40:40):
Things LIKE yes so i think that he uses. HIS
size well i think that he's strong at the catch
point sixty percent or higher contested catch rates on contested
targets in two of his. Last Four seasons trey harris
is one of my. Flag plant Players so now i'm
very Enamored to hear brett. TEAR him down.

Speaker 3 (41:01):
I, know.

Speaker 4 (41:01):
WHAT'S coming dude i know we sit on the opposite sides.
Of the aisle we've handheld for the most. Of THE
show but i knew.

Speaker 2 (41:07):
It was coming, Put him up, put, him up.

Speaker 3 (41:09):
Babies, All right well i'll start with THE fact that
i think he's very limited in his. ROUTE running potential
i think he's very tight. In the hips he's a
tendency to run everything super duper high and can't really
sink his. Hips and explode you combine that with the
fact that he doesn't have a lot of salesmanship in
his routes and a lot of what he was asked
To Do at old miss. Was purely linear, IT'S like deep.

(41:31):
I mean deeper you mentioned the deep overs, In the posts,
Like that's it that's all we got, in the. Toolbox
is Sure So. He's, dianie, brown great COOL we could
i guess we work, with that late late third round
pick and he's gonna sign after his rookie contract, for
one year. Five. Million somewhere great That's about where I'm At.
With trey, harris so yeah the production profile is cool

(41:52):
when you look at your arrow run and, stuff like
that but It's the the lanekiffen offense with one of
the most accurate quarterbacks, in college football if not the
most accurate quarterback in college foot who probably throws those
two routes we mentioned better than any quarterback over the.
Last five, YEARS so, yeah i mean there's a lot
of things working in his favor to kind of boost,
That production profile, but for me it's just the lack

(42:12):
of TRANSLATABILITY at. The nfl level he's not good. After
the catch you mentioned his. CONTESTED catch up i think
he's bad in. Contestic catch situations he lets DB's play.
Into his body he kind of tracks the, ball really
funny so it's not always a clean approach and attack.
At the football he's a little late. IN his jumps
i think you look at some some routes that don't.
Have direct breaks he's very drifty on. Like shallow crossers

(42:35):
he drifts all. Over the place you, Know speed outs
he's drifting all. Over the place he can't run a
stick concept to. SAVE his life i got a lot
Of Issues with tray harris if he didn't already. Figure this,
OUT but no.

Speaker 4 (42:45):
I knew it i knew, it, was coming Dude and
that's it's one OF the guys i knew we were
gonna sit on Opposite sides of.

Speaker 3 (42:50):
And. THAT'S good yeah I Actually, think jordan, watkins his
teammate is a better might be a better. PROSPECT than
Him I think jordan watkins might have a more translatable
skill SET. In THE nfl And I know trey harris
was a better, producer and aggregate but when you Look
at when Harris missed games watkins was every bit As.
Productive AS harris so, I don't know, i don't Know
he's a he's a tough. SELL for me i THINK

(43:10):
right now, i have, HIM you know i got him
with a mid to late, third round, GRADE so like i.
Still like him so it PROBABLY sounds like, i, hate
Him right but i'm just comparing Him to. TO debro's
hype i, don't like him, But you know i'm in
the late third round grade is still pretty good FOR
me and, I you know i think if you want
to improve, your wide receiver If You, need diami brown

(43:30):
just go draft him. In the third so where where do?

Speaker 4 (43:33):
You have? Him right, There right now brett and that
wide receiver like eleven, to thirteen range?

Speaker 3 (43:37):
SOMEWHERE in there? I, have him yeah how did? You
know that have?

Speaker 1 (43:40):
Him?

Speaker 3 (43:41):
Wide receiver third.

Speaker 4 (43:41):
Because that's That's about where i'm at with with, Third
round grades like that's that's THE tier where i have
all my.

Speaker 3 (43:45):
Third, ROUND guys, yeah, i think uh. Let's, see here
yeah he scores right Around, Like Ty, felton Trey Harris
and jordan watkins all are like right.

Speaker 1 (43:54):
In A me so i think the great thing about
discourse on These players is it creates opportunity for you
to either find value down the board in your dynasty
drafts Or just say i'm out on. This guy here i'm,
Gonna gonna wait i'm. Gonna hit pause i'm gonna let
him be. Someone else's Problem. That's probably brett if you're
in any Dynasty, leagues with brett he's gonna let him.

(44:15):
Go past you, but YOU know and i think the
other thing that's great about discourse is you don't want
to give, into Group THINK right like i think too
many times in the, fantasy football community we all give.
Into group think and it's great to see the pros
and the cons of A Prospect Like trait harris debro
laying out a lot of The pros and brett kind
of throwing out more. Of those cons so, appreciate. That analysis,
gentlemen by now most of you have probably Already Heard Of,

(44:38):
reality sports online the powerful fantasy sports platform where owners
get to build and manage their fancy TEAM like an.
Nfl general manager but the question is have you? Tried
it yet it's time to go see what all the
buzz in the dynasty. Community is, about free agency. MULTI
year contracts, a rookie draft, multi team, trades franchise, tags

(44:59):
contract extensions first, round rookie options automated contract and, salary
cap functionality and. Much much more think, It sounds complicated.
It's really not and the Best Thing About Reality Sports
Online fantasy front office is that it doesn't take any
more time than. A standard league it just. Requires more
strategy think you're among, The, fantasy elite well this is

(45:20):
the platform to. Test your metal? Still not sure you
CAN test your gm skills for free in a mock,
free agency auction and if you'll like, what you see
use The Promo code fantasy pros to receive a ten
percent discount on your team. Or, league today again That's
Promo code fantasy pros to receive a ten percent discount
on your team. Or league today fantasy. Just Got real

(45:41):
at reality Sports. Online dot Com at, wide receiver seven
it's the, six foot four two Hundred Fourteen pounder jaden
Higgins Out, of iowa state working With Quarterback. Rock o
beck higgins finished Fourth In the big twelve in receiving
yards in back, to back seasons totally nearly twenty two
hundred yards. In that span he also has had a sensational.

(46:04):
Pre draft process he was one of deepro's biggest Winners Following.
The senior bowl also kind of touchdown in That Game
from Olie. Gordon in indy he then goes out runs
a four point four to seven second, forty yard dash
finishing with a nine point eighty five relative athletics score
that's third. Among, wide receivers brett what are you looking
at when It? Comes to higgins could he potentially be

(46:25):
a day two?

Speaker 3 (46:26):
Lock for you he's a brown two.

Speaker 4 (46:28):
Lock for, me, round, two baby oh, round two lock
top of.

Speaker 3 (46:31):
The, Round two Yeah higgins is he's. Kind, of nasty. Yeah,
freaking out actually just A little got barrett, This, Last
night like higgins was the SECOND wide receiver i watched.
IN the Process I watched, technic VILLIN first Then, i
watched higgins and so COMING, OUT of tet, i was,
LIKE all Right. I like higgins there's a. Lot to
LIKE and then i kind of watched. The other guys all,

(46:52):
Of a sudden i'm one hundred and seventy PROSPECTS deep
and i kind of forgot About How good. Jaydon higgins
IS so yesterday, I was like i think my kids
WERE napping and i was WRITING some profile, i was like,
You know what i'm just gonna. Watch THEM tape so
I Put on JADEN higgins and, i was like, oh
my god. THIS guy's insane i forgot how. Good HE
was so i, mean he SCORES is like i shouldn't forget,
he's you know he scores as a he's a high.

(47:14):
Second round gear he's like a top forty player to
me in this. Class yep wow crazy, to me though
is what a disgusting rout runner. This MAN is and,
i really like like the thing that stands out the
most is, his get off his acceleration and burst and
so he, attacks DB's fervently like with that linear explosive

(47:34):
this to the point where they are forced to address
that vertical phase and they have to, get in phase
and that gives him access to a bunch, of other
stuff a bunch, of other breaks and he's super like
his route breaks are super. CRISPY and abrupt i read
somewhere like one of. THE top guys i don't want to,
say his name but they wrote up that he can't
sink and. EXPLODE his hips i want to ask what freaking? Tape, They're, watching,

(47:58):
YEAH like honestly I mean it's i think he's one
of the best route runners, in the class and he
just so happens to, Be six' four so you're probably, about,
to ask me well why don't have a first? Round
Grade on him right so there's there are, A COUPLE
red flags like i don't think he's great getting. OFF
press right now i think you do see a. Developing
skill set there we saw him improve at, mobile a
little bit but it's still really laggy and. Hesitation driven

(48:19):
PRESS releases and so i think for him to PROFILE,
as a true x he's going to have to get better
getting off press to BE. Successful in the nfl, but
the route, running the ball, skills the catch, radius the
overall athleticism it screams like high level wide receiver ONE.
Potential in the nfl and then you add to the
mix the fact that he when they did use him

(48:41):
in the slot as like, a power slot Type He,
looked Like Michael thomas, like new orleans throat just gonna
crust you on, slants and crossing routes and he will
dominate you. Your zone coverage too he's got a really.
Good feel, for that so like this guy profiles. REALLY
well For me i think he's actually a really HIGH
floor ceiling which i haven't heard a. LOT of people
say i think they kind of think he's more, of a,

(49:02):
you know high. RISK high reward guy. I think the
opposite i think, he's a high. Floor high ceiling guy
it's like very little risk with this guy and then
then a big payoff if. You hit on him where's?
He in Your.

Speaker 2 (49:12):
Ranking Ste Bro.

Speaker 4 (49:14):
Uh jaden, Higgins Wide. RECEIVER six matthew Golden I. Freaking, Love. Jaden,
Higgins yes brett actually higgins was one of THE first
guys when i got Into the process. That i'll WATCH
too brett And i remember texting brett and we had,
not spoken about him and we Both Came down with
michael Thomas for, Him, because i'm like bro you put

(49:34):
this guy in a power SLOT, roll in the Nfl A.
Dude like, sean payton come on, Please draft this Dude,
send him to denver make, him A power slot like
i want to see it so freaking bad because he
ACTUALLY tested better than i thought he, Would at the
combine LIKE it's not that i thought he, Was fast,

(49:55):
as hacking like yeah like we need to put some
more respect. On this guy's skills like four two fourteen
with a nine point eighty seven raz running a four
to four, Jumping thirty nine inches he's got a ninety.
Second percentile broad jump Like.

Speaker 2 (50:09):
This, is ALL like again why?

Speaker 4 (50:12):
I push back that like people say this wide receiver,
class Is not, Good, and i'm like okay have you
heard The Good word about jadenon higgins, Because, apparently, you
haven't like dude send Him To the freaking tennessee titans
at the top.

Speaker 3 (50:25):
Of the second round.

Speaker 4 (50:26):
Send him to any one of these teams that, Needs,
ANOTHER wide receiver like i, want, it so bad dude,
Because he tested well he's. Crushed the entire process, he
goes to mobile he proves again the concept of his
route running and his. Ability, To, GET off man like
i think THE biggest thing that i Can Bring up, with,
jayden HIGGINS is yes do i want to see him

(50:46):
in a power?

Speaker 3 (50:47):
Slot?

Speaker 5 (50:47):
Do?

Speaker 3 (50:47):
A role yes?

Speaker 4 (50:48):
Absolutely can he win because the big thing where you get,
to high volume guys it's can you? Win on crossing
routes can you win on ins? And outs and hitches
higgins could, do, All of that dude so like he.
Could gobble up volume the BIGGEST thing, that Like i
guess and i'm curious where. You, sit on this brett
is his vertical route tree, AND threatening vertically like i

(51:12):
don't see as much consistency with him running nines or
anything deep as far as the same type of nuance
and route running like where he can just crush you in.
The short and intermediate BUT some of that i think
is he wasn't asked to do that A ton because
again i don't, want to slam him but two of
These wide RECEIVERS that brett and i are Extremely High,

(51:34):
ON from iowa state i am not. High ON rock
obect so i think a lot of this is more
of a function and a fallout of the quarterback play
and the team designing an offense that fit the quarterback, strengths,
more than saying okay the wide receivers than. What THEY
do well so i have some more questions about his ability.

(51:55):
As A, vertical receiver but brett where do?

Speaker 3 (51:57):
YOU sit with that i think. He's perfectly fine there,
here's what you mentioned the quarterback play, that was an
issue but you also got to look at the. Way
DEFENSES played him and i started my kind of monologue,
about him by saying the way. He attacks you vertically
the way he puts, pressure on defensive backs they are
forced to engage with it and what and so when
we talk about the way he dominates on slants and

(52:19):
ins and outs, and stuff like that he gets access
to all those routes so easily because of that vertical
drive phase where he is pushing DB's backwards to where
they they have no choice but to like either full
on turn and run or they're in such a deep.
BACKPEDAL they can't react i actually put this in his
in my. Right, up on him basically he forces defensive

(52:39):
backs to go from playing anticipatory. Coverage to reactionary coverage
and that's the biggest key to GENERATING. Separation in the
nfl if you can make a defensive back react to you,
rather than Anticipate you you've. Got you've. Killed them they're
dead So and. That's what higgins does.

Speaker 1 (52:57):
Next Up is TCU's jack besh and i've got to
give credit, where Credit. Is due de bro you've been
All over the former hornfrog. Throughout this entire process he
even featured him in our first. Show of the offseason
brett was on For That one. Our senior bowl preview.

Speaker 2 (53:11):
He went out dominated.

Speaker 1 (53:12):
That week in practice Was Then NAMED the senior bowl
mvp after catching six receptions for sixty eight yards and
the game winning. Touchdown in that game this came just
a month after he lost his Brother In The Tragic
New Orleans day new year's day attack also had a
pretty good combine posted a nine point four or. Five,
RELATIVE athletics score still i feel like the overall dynasty

(53:34):
communities EXTREMELY divided on the tcu prospect after he had
just one season of true elite collegiate production where he,
had sixty two receptions over a thousand yards. Receiving And,
NINE touchdowns dee bro i don't care about the one
year of production. IN today's college football i don't. Think
you do either when It comes, TO this louisiana native.

Speaker 4 (53:53):
I DO not know and i want to give First
shout Out. To Lafay at louisiana jack besch grew up
about within An hour from, Where i'm from originally.

Speaker 2 (54:01):
So we had A.

Speaker 4 (54:02):
Wonderful time at inmobile to sit Here and talk. About
louisiana and stuff that, was. A GOOD time man but
i also want to. GIVE some flowers here i was
not alone in my And my Love of Jack besh
MAN like brett and i talked about him a ton,
in Text before then and brett was really really high,
On him before mobile So shout out. To brett, as,
well but like dude like it's in my ride Up,

(54:23):
On fantasypros dot com like the first Sentence in that is,
jackbesh is a dog and THAT that is what i
feel like we need to contextualize, around his skill set around.
His his tone set he is a guy that would
ever team and just before we get, into his skill
set any, team that drafts him he is going to.
Be a culture fit he is going to be. A
locker room guy he is going to. Be a tone

(54:44):
setter he is going to help. In all those departments
this guy plays his ass, off every freaking snap one hundred.
And twenty five percent whether, it is run blocking whether,
it is route. Running it doesn't matter like you'll see
guys not, saying TAKE snaps off and i don't, knock
them for this but, when the not going they're not
the first, read and to play you might see they're
going at half speed. And stuff like That That. Is,

(55:05):
not jack besh dude he. Is a freaking dog so looking, at, His,
SKILL set Though Man i think jack besh is a player.
That we talked about we've already mentioned this. ONCE in
this SHOW i think his nfl career is going to
look immensely better than anything he did in college from
the sense of he is, still molding his game he

(55:26):
is still finding different levels to his game for a
player that again just going back and talking about WHERE
he started at lsu as. A freaking tight end so his,
first season in college like just, for everybody out there
he wasn't. Even a, Wide receiver he's cutweight. He's switched
multiple positions He, Has inside outside again brett talked about
this earlier inside outside. Versatility to his game he's, played

(55:50):
in the slot he's. Played on the perimeter he can,
win IN both aspects and i don't think his analytical
profile is going to highlight just how good of a wide. Receiver,
That he is like i'm not putting him, into the
same ilk but you could do a lot of the
Same things that The Rams. Do with puka nakua, put
him in tight, put him in line ask him to

(56:10):
chip run routes a lot of The same, Ways Where
puka wins jack besh wins two in the sense if it's.
Not only route running? Can he separate early? Can he
separate late he's also extremely strong, at the catch point
man like his hands. Are like vice scripts, in twenty
twenty four he had fifty wide receivers at. Least Twenty
contested targets jack besh fourth best. And contested catch rate

(56:33):
SO a player that i don't think that anybody's going
to walk away wild by his analytical profile or has testing.
OR any of that i think he is a much
better player in any team, THAT if he falls i
think he go in the SECOND round. OF the nfl
draft i think he's probably going to more likely go.
In the third round but any team that drafts him, in,

(56:53):
the third round dude you are getting a steal off
this player and what he CAN be. At. The nfl
level right do you Have A?

Speaker 1 (57:00):
Comp?

Speaker 2 (57:00):
For, jack besh.

Speaker 3 (57:02):
Uh Yes If you If George kittle and cooper. Cup
had A baby.

Speaker 4 (57:10):
The Closest i. COULD come brett was i felt like
he's A Better. Version of Juwan jennings but maybe i'm
off with that.

Speaker 3 (57:16):
Far more, athletic, version, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (57:18):
Yeah yeah yeah juan's not near the. Athlete that he
is that's.

Speaker 3 (57:21):
NOT that's, NOT terrible i mean i think The Easy
comp is cooper cup just because they do a. LOT
of similar things i, hate Doing It though Because Cooper
cup and jack. Besh. Happened, Because WHITE yeah yeah and
i think there might be some some some white, guy, fatigue,
with THIS right like because i think he's way better than.
THE third round prospect I think he's like i've mocked
him in the. First, ROUND several, times oh I.

Speaker 4 (57:40):
Agree but we're i do think HE Goes, to, The,
nfl draft though brett do you think he like gets?
INTO the SECOND round i just i don't, know, IF
it happens.

Speaker 3 (57:47):
Dude i think so lad McConkie went what's third pick
of the. Second, ROUND last year yeah i, think they're.
Comparable Players comparable prospects so i'm mcconaki a little More
vertical juice while besh has more, of, the intangible strength.
Hands CATCH point, prowess but i mean. You nail, it
both you know. Versatile inside out guys but the Level

(58:10):
of compete that besh, is going to bring. THE culture
tone set i think teams have learned from Passing on
guys Like I'm on Ros Saint brown and. PUKIN nakua
real culture i think teams have learned that. That's just a,
mistake don't do That And passing on jack besh. Would, be,
a mistake okay.

(58:58):
we've got two wide receivers, left to Break Down Starting
with Iowa states jalen nol noel totaled over two thousand
receiving yards Fifteen Touchdowns for the side clones over. The
past two seasons he's also finished Top Six in the
big twelve four receptions. In three straight seasons he Was
Also Named The Big twelve special Teams player of the
year in twenty twenty four averaged over fifteen yards per.

(59:20):
Return on punt returns nol was one of our biggest
winners or the Biggest Winner from the senior bowl and
ALSO had a sensational nfl combine posted a sub Four,
four forty times brett Where do you rank noel and
where do you think his skill set BEST fits?

Speaker 3 (59:36):
At the nfl level nolan was. My, wide receiver, three.

Speaker 2 (59:40):
Yes oh Wow Wow. You love iowa state he's my.

Speaker 3 (59:44):
Wide receiver four apparently but Oh Must be the Trey Kemberling.
Influence at fantasy points You know he's, In, ohio state
guy okay. All of our media, He's. A, Marketing genius,
scott yeah, So anyways but man. Nol is just FANTASTIC and.
YOU know i was i had a first Round Grade
On a monroe saint brown when, he Was coming out
and noel like A, clone of A monroe except that

(01:00:08):
noel might be a significantly Better, athlete than a monroe
which is kind of, scary to think about but to
do a. Lot of, Similar things for me nol is
just like he's got. The inside out. Versatility we've beat
that that's a dead. Horse at this point so, but
he's an explosive snappy route runner like that. Is where
he wins he has some hilarious reps on tape where

(01:00:29):
he sends, Cornerbacks into another dimension Like It's like watching
allen iverson in the two thousands hit a crossover where
it's like the defenders Now over there and i'm shooting, a, Wide,
Open jumper right like noel has reps. Like that on
tape there's some things too his route running that he,
needs to clean, up like detail wise but the. OBVIOUSLY
the potentials there i like the fact that. HE'S only

(01:00:50):
five ten i kind of like because it just helps
him lean into that snappiness. As a route runner his
feet are, always under his hips which is the number
one thing for being, a snappy runs runner because he
doesn't have to move very, far, To change directions right
it's like it's it's he constantly has access. To CHANGE
a direction so. I think that's awesome the fact that
there's he doesn't have anything lacking, in his, physical profile,

(01:01:13):
like yeah extreme agility, extreme change of direction extreme ability to.
Stop on a dime and then, he's vertically you know
the linear. Juice of the explosive it's just, it's all
mouthwatering man. It's, like it's ridiculous yeah there's really not.
Anything he. Can't do he's got you would think a,
guy that's five ten one ninety or whatever he. Would
struggle beating press well. That's not true either. He's awesome

(01:01:34):
against press he's got like a couple different, Go to
press releases like he's. GOT a heavy Crossover I mentioned.
The allen iverson move he's got a split. Release that's
just devastating he. Attacks leverage incredibly well he's, also a.
FOOTBALL VACUUM you know i i think his drop. Rate
was just okay but like when you look at. The

(01:01:55):
reps on tape we ALREADY. Mentioned his bad qb there's
so much many balls thrown off target in his whereabouts
where it's like in, a different zip code and. SOMEHOW
he finds it i don't understand again how a guy
that's five. To ten does this it, shows you his
explosiveness but the ability to make, those last second adjustments it's.
So it's so great and then, on top of that

(01:02:17):
you're gonna get some some added. Value out of him and,
as a return guy like he's a. Really good hearing
guy he didn't get to do a lot of it,
in twenty twenty four but in twenty three he had
some think he had a seventy. Two yard kick return
he's just a. Phenomenal player all around there really isn't. Anything.

Speaker 1 (01:02:31):
He can't do Debro we've touched on nol and how
he con potentially be The biggest value, in dynasty rookie
DRAFTS so much that i was doing a mock draft
with a couple of.

Speaker 2 (01:02:40):
People from the industry maybe. Two three weeks ago.

Speaker 1 (01:02:42):
Sleeper did not even have him listed as a player
in there in their.

Speaker 2 (01:02:47):
App yets like that that just shows like nobody's.

Speaker 1 (01:02:50):
Talking about, this guy And meanwhile you and brett potentially
both have him as a top five wide.

Speaker 2 (01:02:55):
RECEIVER, in this class.

Speaker 4 (01:02:56):
Yep he's been my wide receiver four. Remains. MY wide
receiver Four I. Freaking love jalen Nole We talked about
Jalen Ole before the senior bowl. AND since that point
i loved him back then and he has gone out
and he has crushed every single. Part of the process
he has absolutely just put just emphatic. Check marks, TO
everything and Yeah i mean in dynasty, Rookie drifts right

(01:03:18):
now i've got Him As my in superflex i've got
him as. My twelfth overall player He Is. RIGHT behind
power warren. I Love this kid like brad talked to Evoke,
the Name, Of amara saying brown i've used that name
On this show For jalenole before and.

Speaker 3 (01:03:31):
I'll, use it again dude That's The.

Speaker 4 (01:03:33):
Ceiling for jalen nole like my original Comp For, Him was,
khalil shakir but dude he's Way More. Athletic than khalils
shakir we TALKED about it and i, just on a
dude but a Nine point seven rats he jumped forty
one and a half freaking Inches in the vert he
jumped over eleven Feet in the broad he goes out
and me runs a. Four to, three nine his, shuttle

(01:03:54):
his three cone everything is. Above the eightieth percentile. This
dude is awesome you could put. Him on the outside
you could put, Him On The inside like i'm i'm
not Telling you all on jalenol running seventy eighty percent
of his. Routes on the perimeter but? Can you run
again we. Talked about positional versatility can he play on
the outside and win versus his. Own win versus. Press

(01:04:16):
yes he can, he's got the athleticism he's, got the
release package he's, got the route running and he plays with.
Her contact extremely well so, he's, gonna offer you yak
he can get down. TOWN like he's got i didn't
need to see him go to the combine to know that.
He was freaking fast the question is just, how fast
he was because on film he has got pull away.

(01:04:37):
Speed from freaking corners. You see it religiously they ran
him down the seam and he is. Running away from
dudes you team that, with the play strength, he Can
break tackles and, brett talked about it the body control
that this guy has AND his ability because i don't
care that. He's five to ten would you jump forty?

(01:04:57):
One and a, half you are jump but you were
getting into the same range as six' one sixty two
receivers with only decent. Or maybe not great verts so
he plays bigger than his size and it shows, up
EVERYWHERE on his film because i. Mean we talked about
it he can play above the rim because he has
to correct just so Many Bad targets from rock o

(01:05:21):
beck where he's making these plays outside of his frame
that other receivers that are not as athletic as he
is that don't have the ability with, the jumps that
he does. They wouldn't be making dude so Again We talked.
About these iowa state guys both of these guys are
being underrated if you would air dropped them into a
system where like they had. Better quarterback play in college

(01:05:43):
like both These guys Go to freaking old miss people
are talking about them as FIRST Round.

Speaker 3 (01:05:47):
Talent.

Speaker 4 (01:05:47):
In the nfl draft.

Speaker 1 (01:05:49):
Wow, I'LL tell you One Thing i am fading iowa
state this upcoming year.

Speaker 2 (01:05:54):
In all betting.

Speaker 1 (01:05:55):
Season long i'm taking their under, on, THE wind total
because like i just don't think people'll give enough. Credit
TO these, wide receivers because i mean even at my
Co Host Over On the, Betting Pros, college football show.
Terrell ferman loved The guy He. Is a rocko beck
stan i'm pretty sure he's got a jersey. In the
closet for him but these wide receivers, really did, help
make him you, know have a great season Get All
The way. The big twelve, championship game but moving forward

(01:06:18):
we'll Round out the Program With. Texas wide receiver isaiah
bond After, Starting his career In tuscaloosa bond transferred to.
Texas in twenty twenty four battled injury almost the entire
season did lead to some regression. In both receptions and
yards he went on and on and on about how
He Was going to break xavier, worthies forty yard dash
record had the background on his phone just to post

(01:06:41):
a four point. THREE to nine second time I don't
want to, say.

Speaker 2 (01:06:44):
I told you so but.

Speaker 1 (01:06:45):
I legitimately told you so IF YOU follow, me on
x i said any money you bet on this guy
to run the fastest forty? Your Lighting money on fire
deepro does him having that time and weighing in at just,
one hundred and eighty pounds does that hurt Your?

Speaker 2 (01:06:58):
Projections at all for bond or?

Speaker 1 (01:06:59):
Do you?

Speaker 2 (01:06:59):
LIKE this guy not.

Speaker 4 (01:07:01):
REALLY i mean it doesn't i figured he was going
to come IN around that size that i mean five,
ten one, Eighty that's fine man like, AND again with
the speed i know that we all were all trashing
him because, the other thing is like don't go out
there and run your mouth that you're going to break
all these things and then, go that fall MULTIPLE times? You, know, What,
i mean like yeah bond you would have been a
Lot better to. Take the jalen nol route don't say

(01:07:23):
anything and then just go crush the combine instead of
run your mouth. And, then you fall short man don't
don't create expectations for things that maybe you're. Not, going
to back up now, Getting into His skill set I'D
like BOND more. Than i, thought i would but again
we're still talking about a wide Receiver that right now
have i've got, him in my tier four the, Bottom

(01:07:44):
of my tier four like he's bouncing anywhere, between like
wide receiver eleven the. Wide, Receiver thirteen fourteen ish okay
i'm in that range like a third fourth. ROUND ish
grade on him i mean the speed shows up on,
the film. Man like effortless effortless speed he doesn't lose
a lot of speed changing directions for a. Player, that
the route RUN like the QUESTION THAT i have for

(01:08:07):
nfl gms is why in the hell are you going
to go Spin The capital to draft luther burden When
You can just get isaiah bond. Around maybe two rounds
later like they're not. That, different of a player now
there are some differences as far as short area, quickness
and stuff, like that some movement stuff but like as
far as speed and what they're gonna be ASKED to,
Do IN the nfl level like i. Don't see a

(01:08:29):
ton there we could also have the conversation About the
same things with quin yours And The, Analytical profile for isaiah.
Bond but it's just, speed it's put this, guy get
him into, space use him on screens use, him out
of the slot use. Him on ins out's crossers just
let him run away. From guys in that type like
if You Were, to tell me isaiah Bond like, stick

(01:08:51):
him in washington Man Let him go be like I'm
not saying that he's he's doing a lot Of The,
same thing as deebo. Samuel But like use him cliff
kingsbury loves. The archetype of wide Receiver We saw It With,
Rondell moore and andy isabella like put him in the
short area and just Give Like. Easy, gains for jane
daniels like BUT that's, the kind of i GUESS archetype
of Wide. Receiver i see from, Bond, WHAT.

Speaker 3 (01:09:13):
Do, You think brett i mean. DEREK pretty MUCH nailed
It i actually i, like bond quite, a bit but
the consensus like early on he was like, What a
round one favorite like there's.

Speaker 2 (01:09:25):
That that was where.

Speaker 3 (01:09:27):
IT was in on that i think there's definitely a ROLE.
For him in the nfl and perhaps one of my
favorite things about his skill set. Is HE just changes
math and i think anytime you can get a guy
who affects, defenses without touching the ball that's like. A.
Win for, the offense right, and so by the way
he's way, FASTER than four three nine i don't, know
based on the tape the way he set up the

(01:09:48):
fact that he's going. TO break the forty times I
bought into, it because i was like. The dude, is
freaking fast he is Really He, plays faster Than matthew golden.
Like IN matthew fort nine so i think sometimes forty
dash forty YARD dash. Time lies the gps TIME he
had the fastert. Gps time in the class so he's
beastly smile.

Speaker 4 (01:10:05):
For hours to at the at the combine and what do?
HE hit like Twenty four, i think.

Speaker 3 (01:10:09):
Breast in fact have you heard? About? The simulcams. Conspiracy
theories no pretty. Crazy there's people out. THERE you can find,
them i won't say names but they they've actually done
the work on re ENGINEERING The simulcam footage and. Nfl
networks played his simulcam they Started The video later than matthew.

(01:10:30):
Golden and the other players they were comparing him to
just to make me. Look like it's synced up so
there's a conspiracy that he actually did run. Faster than, four,
THREE nine oh wow.

Speaker 4 (01:10:39):
Dude i, mean is his film. SPEED he's faster than,
that i agree with You like it just he when
you turn on the film and a guy. Just jumps
off the page as far, as how, fast, He's moving
it's ridiculous. Dude like he is, fast.

Speaker 3 (01:10:53):
There's reps were there like the corner's given him ten
to twelve yards a Cushion and he's passed Them inloy's
of a, nine and you're, Just like that's completely crazy.
Like it's just destroys cushions so there's a lot of, concerns,
to his tape too though like, he's not good, against
Press like really bad like georgia aft. Him up like
he was he couldn't get. Off the line of. Scrimmage
it was pretty crazy not not.

Speaker 4 (01:11:14):
A ball winner.

Speaker 3 (01:11:15):
At.

Speaker 4 (01:11:15):
THE catch point either yeah i mean that that just.
Goes back to play.

Speaker 3 (01:11:18):
STRENGTH not. A physical player i think my MY concern
Too Is like i liked jermaine, burton a lot last year, a,
Very Similar archetype player right and burton might be, dealing
with some you know maybe some some mental illness types
stuff or off field whatever, That's that's dragging him down
but like to, See him, Flop, so Fast i'm like
oh is bond going to do? The SAME thing to

(01:11:39):
me because I really like some. Of, bond's, reps former, teammates,
Yeah true former teammates right but there's a lot to like.
About his game for sure and going back, to the
math changer point the league's already playing a lot more
too high than than they ever have, or at least
in memory and he's going to. Force him to do
that you not want to leave him isoed up against
a covered three. OR or, man coverage defender i. Mean

(01:12:02):
HE will destroy them so i think that's a valid
point if you're if you're a team that, likes To Run.
The ball like New England we talked about. NEW england,
needing some juice i, mean this, Is a guy you
know freeble's gonna. Want to run the football the best
way to run the football is to force defenses, into some,
weird you KNOW coverage schemes, and so i take it
take that. SAFETY out, of, the box.

Speaker 4 (01:12:21):
I mean dude Send Him, send him to san, Francisco
Get him into space let shanahan do.

Speaker 3 (01:12:27):
Some fun things with you. And that can't be overstated.
HIS yak ability is crazy I like it better than
burdens just because it's it's, jmo, esk where it's like
yeah he's not gonna juke you, out in the open
field but you just won't get hands ON a PERIOD
because so i.

Speaker 4 (01:12:41):
Don't i don't want To go to the same like there.
Are a lot of differences, i'm gonna bring this up but, Curious.
What your thoughts are brett very, Different players, in some
Aspects But dude like put isaiah bond in the in
The exavier worthy role that casey rolled him, Out in
the second, half like just motion, him get him into
space FEED him underneath targets like i COULD, see that?

Speaker 3 (01:13:02):
In? The nfl?
