Speaker 1 (00:04):
Welcome back, everybody.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
It's the Fantasy Pros Dynasty Fantasy Football Podcast. I'm your host,
Scott Bagman, joined as always by Pat fitz Morris. I'll
check us out on the Twitter Bogman Sports Fits Underscore FF.
Today we are answering listener questions listener Dynasty Fantasy Football questions,
and we've had a lot of moving and shaking in
the free agent market. Fitzie, what is like, if you
(00:27):
had to pick the move that you think is the
most interesting in terms of the value of a player,
what team signing or trade or whatever, which it can
be positive or negative. What was the biggest move that
you've made in your rankings of a player because of
their location.
Speaker 3 (00:47):
Oh, biggest move in the rankings, h for most interesting.
I was going to say it's DK Metcalf going to
and I guess that wasn't necessarily a signing became Metcalf
going the free agent Steelers. Yeah, I mean, what, like
that's just.
Speaker 4 (01:03):
It's weird.
Speaker 3 (01:03):
On one hand, I feel like they've got like these overlap, overlapping,
non complimentary skill sets, both these deep guys, although they're
not really I don't know. I mean, like DK isn't
necessarily a contested catch guy.
Speaker 4 (01:18):
He's a vertical guy.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
And just like he's good at, you know, kind of
like finding ways to get separation, and Pickens is the
contested catch guy. But I suppose that if you have
both of those guys operating on either side of the
field making it really opens up the middle for everyone
else and and theoretically helps the run game a lot,
but they don't have the quarterback in place. I just
(01:42):
kind of wonder what it does for the value of
those two. I can't see it as a good thing
for Pickens long term. Yeah, so lets you just wonder
if you're gonna be able to make both of those
guys happy, since they are two guys who don't always
handle it well if things sort of aren't going the
way that think they should be going.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
And who is throwing the football right right now?
Speaker 2 (02:04):
It's just big face Mace, you know, Mason Rudolph. I
guess I think a lot of people are assuming it's
going to be Aaron Rodgers. But as the time we're
recording this, no movement there yet. Jackson Dart getting a
lot of mocks to Pittsburgh. Now, God, I can't remember
who it was talking about.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
How he is.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
He's a vertical thrower and those are two vertical receivers,
so he would fit. But is that what Arthur Smith wants?
So lots of questions arounding DK. For me, the one
that affected I think the placement in my rankings the
most was Fields going to the Jets. Just a guaranteed
starting job for that guy. I think that's why he
(02:44):
didn't resign with Pittsburgh. It came out yesterday that they
made a major push to bring him back. It was
more money or close to the same money that the
Jets offered him. You would think the team context would
be pretty good in Pittsburgh as well, But he got
bench last year and I don't think he wanted to
do that again. So that is that, but him getting that,
(03:07):
you know, I had to move him up. I think
Anthony Richardson came down a little bit too with Daniel
Jones signing there, not that we didn't expect him to
have competition, but I don't know. I think Daniel Jones
fits in the type of offense you'd build around Richardson.
I think we'll work for Daniel Jones because he's such
a runner as well.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
So I really.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Think that is going to be a hotly contested battle,
so I lowered richardson a decent amount as well. Not
you know, he's still a QB two in Dynasty for me,
but uh not, you know, borderline at best. So lots
of moves. We'll get more into that next week. But
let's get to some questions here, mister Fitzie and father
(03:46):
Man is up first.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
What is going on? Father Man? How you doing? My friend?
Speaker 5 (03:52):
Hey, it was going on, Bogs. Missed you at the
out of bounds.
Speaker 6 (03:54):
I hope you got there.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
Okay, I did, I'm I'm alive. I'm here.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
We're doing this, so nightmare is over. But what he
got for us today?
Speaker 1 (04:03):
My friend, I.
Speaker 5 (04:05):
Got a question for you, dude. I'm in an IDP
league for Dynasty. I got a defensive back, a linebacker,
and an IDP player all together. As far as like
Ricky drafts go, how are you viewing Travis Hunter in
IDP league like that?
Speaker 2 (04:20):
So corners are usually not the greatest IDP guys anyway,
you know, if you're getting both sides, if you get
like the offensive scoring, like you should get the defensive
scoring for the offensive guys. You know, someone throws a
pick and you get a tackle, you should get those points.
So if you're getting that, obviously, Hunter is still going
to be very, very highly valued because he goes both ways.
(04:42):
But I think as a corner, if we're just looking
at his defensive you know stats, they're probably not gonna
be great because he's a shutdown corner. So teams quit
throwing to that side a lot of times and he's
not getting tackles. What you want is those guys that
are like, you know, getting a lot of playing time
but probably shouldn't be getting a lot of playing time.
Those are the corners that you want, because you know,
(05:05):
the ball is thrown in front of them, the guy
in front of them gets a catch, and then they
get a tackle and assist, you know, and they get
thrown out more so they get more opportunities for interceptions
as well.
Speaker 4 (05:15):
Yeah, I get both.
Speaker 5 (05:16):
I get both sides of the scoring.
Speaker 4 (05:17):
So that was that was mymi.
Speaker 5 (05:19):
That was the only reason why I.
Speaker 4 (05:19):
Was like, how high is too high? How those too low?
Speaker 5 (05:22):
You know what I'm saying, like, what what do you
think our average position was to able be to take him?
I don't even know where my spot's at yet.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
I think pretty high, I think in an IDP league
like that, he should probably go in the top five
or six players for sure.
Speaker 4 (05:36):
Okay, that's what I was saying.
Speaker 5 (05:37):
I just want to get somebody else's opinion on it, John,
I know you are too many guys you can ask
any questions about.
Speaker 4 (05:42):
Not a lot of people play it.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
So you got it, father man. I appreciate the question,
my friend. Is that all you got for us?
Speaker 5 (05:48):
Yes, sir, it's feel it for now.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
Thank you, my friend. Take it easy, go ahead, FITZI, I.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
Was gonna I was gonna ask you about like, are
you starting. I don't know about you, but I am
starting to feel more like there's more of a chance
now that Hunter winds up primarily as a wide receiver.
I was thinking, yeah, you know, because it seems like
maybe the two most likely possible landing spots would be
(06:14):
Cleveland and the Patriots and the Browns. GM Andrew Berry
has already said he sees Hunter primarily as a wide receiver,
not as a cornerback, which you know, just he's the
one guy who's come right out and said that because
he thinks it's Travis Hunter's ball skills they make him special,
(06:36):
and because of that, you know you make plays on
the ball one hundred plus times a year if you're
a wide receiver, whereas you know, as a cornerback, you're
maybe getting a chance at what a doesn't pass breakups.
The Patriots they've got Christian Gonzalez, they signed Carlton Davis,
so all of a sudden, cornerback is less of a
(06:58):
need for them. But they absolutely do not have a
top notch playmaker among their.
Speaker 4 (07:04):
Pass catchers right now.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
So yeah, I feel like if they took Hunter at
number four, it would make perfect sense for them to
use Hunter primarily as a wide receiver.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
Well, you and I we both said this, I believe
in the in the mock draft show that we did,
and we both agreed that if Travis Hunter was to
be a primary wide receiver, we would have him at
number one, correct, right, Like I would have him at one,
no question. I think the question is is where in
(07:36):
your draft would he go ahead of Omari and Hampton
for you at that point, Fitzie and I think that's
the question, right because Genti is still one, doesn't change
anything there, but Hampton has been pretty much locked in
at too. And then we have Tet at three, and
then it's a question of which wide receiver do you like?
Do you like one of the tight ends, another running back?
(07:58):
You know, a lot of this will depend on landing spot.
But what are your thoughts on that he'd be top
six for sure?
Speaker 3 (08:07):
But I think I would go with Hampton because my
fear would be that at some point a team might
flip the switch and actually make him a cornerback first,
and then all of a sudden, the bottom drops out
in his fantasy value.
Speaker 2 (08:19):
Okay, so you would still you still pump the brakes
because there's a potential for him to get flipped.
Speaker 3 (08:25):
I see, yeah, a little bit, But I mean it
would be really hard if the Browns took him and
said they were going to play him at wide receiver,
It would be really hard for me to not want
to take him ahead of TETs at the very least
and rank him number one. My reservation has been that
I felt it was like a ninety percent chance that
(08:45):
he was going to be a cornerback first, which meant
Snapchare is probably you know, forty percent or lower on offense,
which does not equate to like startable fantasy value. But
if he goes to a team that says they're using
him as a wide receiver or primarily.
Speaker 4 (09:01):
I mean, the sky is the limit, it really is.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
Oh yeah, and then there is that fear that maybe
that changes at some point, But boy, I would be
pretty excited about the value.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
Can it?
Speaker 2 (09:14):
Can I just remind you how much you scoffed at
me for saying this about a month ago about you
and I were texting, I think, and you're like, that's
not happening because because I had said a couple of
teams are looking at as a primary wide receiver. You said,
I think it's just the Browns was basically your response
to me. But you know, maybe I took it a
(09:34):
little too personally, FITZI, but I thought you were scoffing
at me. But yeah, look, I mean you just it's
the same thing for Travis Hunter situation. I feel like
it's the same thing for an NFLGM reaching on anyone.
It just takes one team to reach and take someone
out of place or way ahead of whatever. It takes
(09:57):
a bunch of teams for a guy to drop right.
Everybody has to pass on. It just takes one team
to decide he's a wide receiver and now he's a
wide receiver, So yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
I think that.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
But I think if you get past New England at
that point, do you think most teams would see him
as a corner correct?
Speaker 4 (10:15):
Yeah, I thought he's probably not getting past New England.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
He shouldn't.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
He definitely shouldn't. So we'll see and maybe, you know,
New England's got a lot of issues, they might trade
out of that spot too, so we'll see what happens there.
But before we move on, let me tell you, guys
about Reality Sports Online. And by now most of you
have probably heard Reality Sports Online, the powerful fantasy sports
platform where owners get to build and manage their fantasy

have you tried it? It's time to go see what
all the buzz in the dynasty community is about. Free agency,
multi year contracts, a rookie draft, multi team trades, franchise tags,
contract extensions, first round rookie options, automated contract and salary

sounds complicated, it's not. The best thing about Reality Sports

Speaker 4 (11:39):
Here?
Speaker 2 (11:39):
We got three point thirty six Hochy? What's up, Hokey?
How we doing guys?
Speaker 1 (11:44):
How's it going good? What do you got for us?
My friend, I dropped my.
Speaker 7 (11:48):
Team in the chat. Guess I've seen it before. I
have a few specific questions. Okay, looking at my team,
kind of got my projective starters there in that alignment.
So Taylor and bron Thomas Junior feel pretty good with Nick,
So I'm optimistic on Eric Wilson. Hopefully the feels things
like you guys were talking about earlier plays out in
(12:08):
nicely and that'll work well. Metcalf is a question mark
for me. How do you feel about him as a
solid three or flex given the move, It's.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
A good question. I don't know, FITZI, I kind of think,
you know how, you know how.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
I'm not a big.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
Fan of Arthur Smith's offense, right so I've moved DK.
I didn't move him down a lot, but I moved
him down about five spots in my wide receiver rankings
because I don't think they're trading George Pickens. I know
a lot of people think they do. You know, that's
a lot of ego. And you know, since DK Metcalf
came into the league, he is a leader in PI
(12:47):
penalties from a wide receiver spot and George Pickens is two.
So I know a lot of people have this, you know,
this thought process that this locker room isn't gonna work.
But you know DK already gave up his number. I
think it can work. I think it's what they do
want it because these guys both run block well, but
(13:07):
it's not a high passing offense. We don't know who
the quarterback is going to be right now. I don't
know if there's a easy solution in sight for the
Steelers a quarterback either. And the way they build the
offensive line, I think they want to run a lot,
so I move DK down a little bit to like
a wide receiver three. So I think he's fine in
that flex spot that you have in Hoky, but I
(13:28):
did take a little off of his value. What do
you think about DK moving and did you move him
down or do you like the situation getting away from
jsn FITZI.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
I have him at wide receiver. I'm just yeah, wide
receiver twenty four. I see Boggs and so I'm still
pretty bullish. And I know, I think he's going to
be the number one receiver there. And I know we
don't know who the quarterback is going to be yet,
but I'm kind of feel like they are either going
(14:03):
to re sign Ross or sign Aaron Rodgers and draft
a quarterback.
Speaker 4 (14:09):
But like, I think they're going.
Speaker 3 (14:10):
To address the QB position in a somewhat satisfactory way.
And I do think DK is going to be the
lead receiver. Robert Mays, who hosts the Athletic Football Show
and who I've played in a fantasy football league with
here in Chicago, smart dude, Like he says he thinks
there's no question Dka is the alpha and not Pickens.
(14:35):
I'm still pretty optimistic about him, and you know, like,
I just feel like people are down on DK after
the sort of lackluster year last year. But this is
still a dude who in his worst season in the
NFL had nine hundred yards and has had three thousand
(14:56):
yard seasons and has been a pretty bankable commodity in fantasy.
Speaker 4 (15:01):
So I'm still pretty optimistic.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
Yeah, and I'm I'm still even lowering him. I'm still
higher than you on him. I have him at twenty five,
so I still think he's pretty good. Twenty four baby, Oh,
I think he's a twenty seven. Oh my bad? All right,
you got one spot better than me? Please, please hope
you go on?
Speaker 7 (15:22):
Yeah, yeah, that sounds pretty good. A couple more questions.
I don't want to take up take everybody body's time. Sure,
I'm seeing a lot of good press on UH or
maybe you know, positive thinking on what Pearsall may do
in his UH second year. And I'm seeing some good
things about Shihe too, which I picked up while he
was hurt last year and stashed him on I R.
In terms of those two guys at primary backups, does
(15:44):
that feel decent or it.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
Was Shahed and who I'm sorry Ricky Pearsol. Oh, yeah,
I'm I'm bullish on Pearsall Fitsie, I really am.
Speaker 7 (15:56):
I do you feel like that if Metcalf doesn't pan out,
Saul could be a could.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
Jump in, Really he can? I think?
Speaker 2 (16:04):
I mean there's a lot of opportunity in that offense,
specifically in Dynasty because of the future. You know, Ayuk
is coming off a huge injury. George Kittle's old right,
Christian McCaffrey is questionable, and he was a big part
of the passing offense as well. So I just think,
you know, for him and Jennings, we're just looking at
increased looks and targets. So are you with me on
(16:25):
Pierceaul FITZI.
Speaker 4 (16:27):
I am Boggs.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
I know it was only like a two game audition
at the end of last season, but those two games
were wildly impressive. Would not shock me at all if
piersa outproduced both Brandon Ayuk and Chewan Jennings this year.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
And what about Shaheed He's coming off an injury here,
I'm not sure if I'm so sold on Shaheed.
Speaker 4 (16:48):
Yeah, but like he.
Speaker 3 (16:49):
Was really good before the injury. I mean he's kind
of streaky, you know. I playing a couple of Best
Ball dynasty leagues. I think he's better in that format
than in a managed one where you have to settle
lineup because she Heeds certainly capable of those big plays
and like torn meniscus, I'm not too worried about the
long term effects of that as opposed to maybe ligament damage.
(17:11):
But you know, there's really nothing behind. The only thing
that would kind of rattle my confidence in Shehed would
be and you know, let me qualify that that's like
wide receiver for type confidence. But the only thing that
would scare me is if they took tests at number nine.
Speaker 4 (17:29):
It could very well happen.
Speaker 3 (17:30):
Like I just did a mock draft for Fantasy pros
that is going to be published like tomorrow, and I
did give that to the Saints.
Speaker 4 (17:40):
Okay, so that's a possibility.
Speaker 3 (17:41):
But you know, she Heeds, She's been really talented and
as far as like yards per route run and yards
per target, like, he's been phenomenal in those metrics. Yes,
dangerous that I mean good good that he's only like
your fifth guy. You're not really got to him, but
he could pleasantly surprise you.
Speaker 7 (18:02):
You know what you what you see there in the graphic.
I've gotta I've got to cut, uh cut six of
those players. We've got to cut down to fourteen. So
in the in that vein to to wrap up here
real quick. You be kind of seeing Nicks is probably
the top guy. Richardson's the wild card. Of course, how's
he going? What's what's how's that gonna pan out? I'm
figuring in the structure. I got four qbs here, I'll
(18:23):
probably only keep three, maybe only two. What are your
thoughts if I keep three or keep two? Who who
should the who should the three and the two?
Speaker 4 (18:31):
B Oh?
Speaker 1 (18:33):
I don't know. If I can you trade before you cut?
Speaker 7 (18:37):
Yeah, we have an opportunity to trade as well.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
I would try to do that first because he's got
for those of you that can't see his roster, he
has Nicks, Prescott, Darnold, and Richardson. So those are pretty
good options here. Uh, which one are you cutting out
of this group?
Speaker 1 (18:52):
Fitsy? If you're cutting one.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
Man, I'm trying to trade Richardson. I think send. You know,
this looks like a tending team. I'm probably keeping Dak
around just for the production in the here and now,
and maybe cutting Donald. I know he had a really
nice year, and maybe he can sort of continue to
(19:17):
be a solid, okay type of starter in the NFL.
But I man, I just worry about Donald going to
a team with a bad offensive line. Although I suppose
the interior of the vikings O line wasn't great shakes
last year either, but I feel like the Seattle offensive
line is in worse shape. And whereas Gino like stands
(19:39):
in there and is totally unafraid to take a shot
by time to find open receivers like Arnold's. You know,
you know, Sam, Donald's the guy who sees ghosts, and
I just wonder if he's going to be able to
stand in there and deliver the way Gino did at
times in Seattle.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
I'm away short, Probably go ahead.
Speaker 7 (20:01):
I was just saying short, So keep probably planning to
keep Nixon Prescott and maybe try to deal Rogerson and
or Donald.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
Yes, if you could trade both, I would do it.
But if you're cutting one of those guys, I think
you have to keep Richardson for the ridiculous upside he
still has. And Donald. You know, Donald's very much a
product of the system in Minnesota last year. I think
he's much better than people gave him credit for but
(20:28):
you know you have Sharpona, you have Walker, you improve
that old line, you're gonna be handing that ball off
a lot, especially with all the trades of the wide receivers.
And yeah, Cup and JSN kind of a weird fit
together as well. So yeah, I think Donald would be
my odd man out of that group, no question.
Speaker 7 (20:45):
I'll let somebody else up taking one oh five. And
in our rookie draft, targeting running back, I'm a little
concerned about Brian Robinson as my number two. Feeling pretty
feeling pretty good a few weeks ago about maybe having
a shot at Hampton at that spot, but now it's
looking less likely. So what are your thoughts? How deep
should I go at running back at five before just
(21:08):
go best available?
Speaker 2 (21:11):
I think, to me, that's really gonna matter. Landing spot
for these guys is really gonna matter. But you're in
luck because your need is running back and you will
absolutely be able to fill it. In this draft. There's
gonna be tons of options at running back. It's a
very deep RB class. So I think if you're if
(21:32):
this is what you go in with you're looking for
a running back, I think take one at five.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
What do you think FITZI.
Speaker 4 (21:38):
Yep, fifty to fifty. Tray Henderson is there, Take him
if he's there.
Speaker 3 (21:42):
Otherwise, take whoever of Caleb Johnson or Quinn Shawn Judkins
lands in the best spot.
Speaker 7 (21:47):
Yeah, but I with my hokey colors, I'm hoping I
can land one of those guys at five and maybe.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
Yeah, yeah, yeah that, I mean, yeah, you can get it.
He's he's gonna be a guy that goes around you know,
RB ten in this class and you know, maybe well
as high as RB six or seven. But yeah, he's
gonna be a fantastic option.
Speaker 7 (22:12):
So yeah, right, guys, I appreciate to let somebody else
get up.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
You got it, Hoky, take it eas, my friend.

Speaker 1 (22:48):
All right, who is up next?
Speaker 4 (22:50):
Here?
Speaker 1 (22:50):
We have see Tourry. What's up Seed Tourry? How you doing?
Speaker 6 (22:55):
All right?
Speaker 8 (22:55):
So this is the team I've talked about here before.
It's year two of a super Flex twelve team. I
drafted a bunch of qbs in the startup, you know,
kind of tanked for a year two three start. So
everything's kind of gone exactly how I planned. I mean,
I only have picked two. I missed out on pick
one by one Chase Brown rushing yard, so that was unfortunate.
Speaker 4 (23:18):
But you know, I just traded so my quarterbacks.
Speaker 6 (23:22):
I have my Homes and May. I traded Jordan Love.
Speaker 8 (23:26):
For picks six, seven, fifty, Fab and Matthew Stafford. And
I traded Michael Pennix for pick nine, a twenty twenty
six first and a second and a third in the
future picks. So now I got you know, I have
Drake May and Patrick Mahomes and Matt Stafford. Yeah all right,
(23:49):
so we still have and I got the Sean Watson
there too. You know he makes a miracle comeback. But yeah,
me too. But yeah, so now I basically have all
these picks, Like how I planned, and you know, I'm
kind of like, look, not really sure what I should
do with Then I'm thinking I should probably take cam
Ward at number two because I'm missing out a junt.
Speaker 4 (24:09):
You know.
Speaker 8 (24:10):
I let it known in the in the chat that
I'm picking Ward, hoping that the guy who has picked one,
because he's very QB needy, gets scared him too taking Ward,
and then I could just take Gentie at two, but
I doubt that's gonna happen. He's got picked one in three,
so he could always get a quarterback at three if he.
Speaker 6 (24:24):
Doesn't, you know.
Speaker 8 (24:26):
So now I'm just like, Okay, I feel like Ward's
got to be the move, you know, try to you know,
just stack up on the qbs and then hopefully hit
a couple running backs and you know, some good wide receivers,
maybe a tight end. But I really just wanted to
see if you thought taking Ward at two was the
right move.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
Fifty what do you think?
Speaker 2 (24:43):
Because the running backs aren't exactly great in this on
this squad here we've got Yeah, all I have is
yeah Chan and then uh, who's it? It's Candra Rochean
Lloyd Gainwell. Got a nice boost for you here, especially
if they don't draft anyone.
Speaker 3 (25:00):
But I think, I mean, this is kind of a
rebuilding team, right, yeah, yeah, yeah, this is the only
thing is in a rebuilding team, Bogs. You know that
the running backs don't always hold their value as well as.
Speaker 4 (25:12):
Quarterbacks and wide receivers. That would be my concern.
Speaker 3 (25:16):
I think I would have a hard time passing on
Ward if he did indeed go number one to the Titans.
And at this point it's looking more and more likely
that he will. I think the DraftKings odds of them
taking cam Ward are currently minus eight hundred, so it's
it's looking like that's going.
Speaker 4 (25:33):
To be the way they go. And yeah, I mean
then then he's.
Speaker 3 (25:38):
Got the leverage to, you know, possibly trade a quarterback
for other pieces. You know, he's covered with three quarterbacks.
If Stafford just is one and done, I personally think
that is the way to go.
Speaker 4 (25:53):
As much as I love Hampton.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
Yeah, how many? How many picks do you have again?
In the first round?
Speaker 6 (26:01):
I have five? I have picked two, six, seven.
Speaker 8 (26:05):
Wait, Doug, wait, sorry I'm looking at the wrong on one. Yeah,
I definitely have five and it's picked two, six, seven,
nine and ten.
Speaker 6 (26:16):
Two.
Speaker 4 (26:17):
Yeah. Then to me, bogs. I mean I also pick.
Speaker 2 (26:22):
And there will be no other qbs, so yes, I
would go ahead and just take cam Ward. You're right, yeah,
with five picks uh in the first round, take Ward
and find running back at another position. And but I
do think I think you might be able to fix
this sooner than you think, especially with all those picks.
Speaker 4 (26:43):
So right, did you guys think.
Speaker 8 (26:45):
That was a good move for Love getting six and
seven in Stafford and I got fifty fat right now?
Speaker 4 (26:50):
That's yes, it's one hundred fab leagues.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
So I think that.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
But I have I only have Love at like QB twelve,
so I'm apparently a love hater.
Speaker 6 (27:03):
You know, you'd be surprised a lot of places. I looked.
Speaker 8 (27:05):
Everyone's really down on love after last year, So I
feel like it was it was a good move to
you know, I definitely wanted to keep May. I would
to move my homes if so wanted them, but you know,
no one really wants them.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
I think that's a good move because you're you're gonna
you know, love love verse May is like that's a
coin flip for you every single week because you're not
benching my homes, right, So love verse May is a
coin flip in who's your in your starting lineup? And
you are going to fill your lineup with two starters
and you have a backup quarterback in that deal. So
I love this deal for you. I think it's great. Thanks, Yes,
(27:39):
you got it?
Speaker 4 (27:40):
You bet?
Speaker 1 (27:40):
Well? What do you what do you think about that deal?
Speaker 4 (27:42):
Was?
Speaker 1 (27:42):
I am I too positive on that one? Fitsy?
Speaker 7 (27:46):
No.
Speaker 4 (27:46):
I think it's a fair exchange.
Speaker 3 (27:48):
I don't want to say it's a win for Sea Tury,
but I do think it's fair value.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
Okay, But Lackey, what's up? Blake? How we doing? You
are up next, my friend?
Speaker 9 (28:00):
Anyways, how are you doing today?
Speaker 1 (28:01):
I'm good, doing great man.
Speaker 9 (28:06):
So I am in the middle of a ten team
best Ball Dynasty super points. I dropped half my budget
on two key players. One is Jayden Daniels, one is
Trey mcbriden.
Speaker 1 (28:19):
I've been kind of.
Speaker 9 (28:19):
Filling in the rest, including five first round picks unto
the first ten.
Speaker 10 (28:25):
We have a huge tight end premium.
Speaker 9 (28:27):
Two point seventy five points. Does that push Warren and
Loveland up to a tier with GENTI? In your opinion?
Speaker 2 (28:35):
I think two point seventy five is crazy. Fits that
at least puts them at two and three behind him.
Speaker 3 (28:42):
Correct in super flex, does that put them ahead of
like Ward?
Speaker 2 (28:51):
I think it's ten man and it's best ball. Yeah,
it's not like you're setting your lineup every single week.
It's just the best score goes high.
Speaker 4 (29:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (29:02):
For quarterbacks, I have Daniels, I have JJ McCarthy, and
I picked up Darnald as my third. So I know
as a fact I'm not gonna take Ward over. Like
I have McBride on my team right now, we have
three flex spots. McBride out scored Chase.
Speaker 10 (29:16):
Last year and one hundred and twenty points.
Speaker 4 (29:17):
Good. He literally averaged.
Speaker 9 (29:19):
Seven points a week more than Chase, like he broke
sixty a couple times. David Nidjoku was tight end eleven
and healing played eleven games and he got out scored
by Jefferson by seven points. Like Pat Fryar move has
more utility than justin Jefferson.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
Is this run by uh the tight end? Gestappo? Did
George Kittle make this league?
Speaker 9 (29:38):
I have no idea, but like when I saw that
scoring format and all of a sudden, I was like,
I just got McBride for the price of Chase. I
was I was ecstatic, but everybody blew their looked like
their budget early and now it's like players like colek
Met Pat fire Move are going for five bucks a
pop and it's like they're gonna score three hundred and
fifty points.
Speaker 3 (29:58):
Crap, It's crazy that a two year yard tight end
catch it's as worth as much as a thirty yard
tight end catch in a wait, am I doing the
math right on that twenty yard team catch?
Speaker 9 (30:10):
Well, we're full point PPR, so every four catches for
zero yards is literally fourteen points. Trey McBride wrote sixty
a couple times last year in this format. So like,
I'm curious, Like, if the first guy takes genty, I
think I take Warren. But what I'm curious on is
he needs a quarterback because he doesn't have one. If
he takes Warn over genty because he doesn't have a
(30:32):
QB too, Do I take Warren over Ashton genty because
that's a potential possibility, especially since I have picks five, six, seven, and.
Speaker 6 (30:40):
Nine to go with it.
Speaker 3 (30:42):
Yeah, I would, Andy, you can make the case for it, man,
especially if Warren goes to like let's say he does
wind up. Well, I don't know there's some some of
the possibilities for tight ends are not that appealing the
Colts true Jets, Yes, but if one of those guys
ends up on the Chargers with Herbert, then I could
(31:06):
see hell, I could see if it's Loveland to the Chargers,
and we know that Jim Harbaugh is going to give
Loveland every opportunity to succeed.
Speaker 2 (31:18):
I just think you have to take the shot, right
FITZI like, because if Tyler Warren ends up like Trey McBride,
and you said McBride outscored Chase by how much sixty
points last year.
Speaker 4 (31:32):
A couple times?
Speaker 9 (31:34):
Yeah, Like, yeah, Chase had four, McBride has five hundred
and fifty five points.
Speaker 2 (31:38):
This is no longer about skill, you know what I mean?
This is this is about who is going to get
you the most points. And maybe Tyler Warren doesn't do it,
and you're not going to get another shot at aston genty,
but you have those other picks late, so fill in
your running backs with those picks.
Speaker 1 (31:55):
Tight end should go first, the top two should.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
I mean really you because tight end value is wobbly,
you know, in terms of are they going to make
it or are they not? They a lot of them
come with a high floor and a low or a
low floor.
Speaker 1 (32:12):
And a high ceiling. Right, So.
Speaker 2 (32:15):
Arroyo probably is still a first round pick in this
type of draft, right, depending on where he goes and
what tight ends are in front of him. So yeah,
Fannin is gonna be up there as well. We're lining
a first round pick, So I think number two with
these with the crazy tight end scoring, I think you've
(32:37):
got to go with warn it too.
Speaker 9 (32:41):
Would you take Warn over gent.
Speaker 3 (32:47):
If if one of them wins up with a good quarterback,
I would actually take him over Genty.
Speaker 4 (32:52):
It's just the format demands it.
Speaker 1 (32:54):
Yeah, I think so too. That's where I'm I'm I'm.
Speaker 9 (32:59):
Staying on my just to blow it on Evan Ingram
as my second tight end right now, Like I'm just
not doing anything else, Like I don't like that's what
we're like. I'm just passing on two dollars running backs.
Speaker 10 (33:09):
Don't even have a running back on my roster.
Speaker 2 (33:10):
Yeah, I gotta say, I don't like it. It's a
weird league, you know, but it's entertaining and that's why
we play the first first f and fantasy is fun
for me, So it's interesting it's not my favorite because
I just don't think it should be that much. You know,
Trey McBride is a great player, he's not great. He's
not better than Chase. In any there's no one that
(33:33):
would tell you Trey McBride's a better player than Tamar Chase.
Speaker 4 (33:36):
Right.
Speaker 2 (33:37):
So I think the scoring is weird, but you know,
it's fun and it's fun and weird and we'll take it.
But yeah, I think in that type of league, you
gotta go with Warren, So anything else.
Speaker 9 (33:50):
Blake, No, Now, we'll see all the rest of this
league I got. I'm just seeing what's gonna happen. This
is a slow auction draft. We started like a week
and a half ago, where I'm like player one hundred
and fifteen and we have twenty nine rosters.
Speaker 3 (34:03):
This is gonna be going off.
Speaker 6 (34:04):
For another month.
Speaker 2 (34:04):
Yeah, yeah, well you started it in time. You'll get
it done right before the regular season kicks off.
Speaker 4 (34:10):
Here, but right before the draft. Yeah, that's it. It's
the slow season. Good time for those things, Yeah it is.
Speaker 2 (34:15):
And come back and let us know how this roster
filled out. And I want to see tight end prices too.
That's crazy. So appreciate you plase you.
Speaker 9 (34:24):
Didn't realize, so we'll see. But all right, I'll keep
you guys post.
Speaker 10 (34:28):
Thank you, have a good day.
Speaker 4 (34:29):
Thank you easy man buck.
Speaker 2 (34:30):
See, let's see who is up here and now you
before we move, Yes.
Speaker 1 (34:39):
I do.
Speaker 2 (34:39):

All right, we said, who is up next?
Speaker 6 (35:15):
Here?
Speaker 1 (35:17):
Ligmatt?
Speaker 11 (35:18):
Hey, Yeah, so I just got some questions about my team.
I just dropped in the chat. I just got done
with this season doing like a rebuild slash soft rebuild
or maybe a retool, and made a lot of moves.
My team's completely different, and I got like eight picks
for this upcoming rookie draft. And as you can see
(35:39):
for my team, I have zero starting options for our
running back. So do you think it'd be wise to
maybe try a trade for a mid tier veteran, or
just try a trade up in the draft, or just
take as many shots as I can get on running back?
Speaker 1 (35:56):
What number picks?
Speaker 4 (35:57):
Where are you pick?
Speaker 11 (35:59):
Right now? I have the one O seven, and then
I got like the two O five, two O seven,
two oh nine, two eleven, the three oh one, three ten,
and three eleven.
Speaker 2 (36:09):
I would say you got to keep that early pick
and take a running back right fits.
Speaker 1 (36:14):
That's step one.
Speaker 3 (36:15):
Yeah, And I mean there is so much running back
depth in this rookie class. Just keep firing darts at
the running back position, I think because you're pretty well
covered with the pass catchers right now.
Speaker 4 (36:29):
I mean, that is a beautiful nucleus.
Speaker 3 (36:31):
Chase McConkey, Trey McBride, Chris Olave, Jordan Addison, and I
haven't even looked at the bench yet, like Coleman, Yeah, Tillman, Tillman,
lagat Coleman.
Speaker 4 (36:42):
Oh my goodness, So like your set there.
Speaker 1 (36:46):
This is what I would do.
Speaker 9 (36:47):
Though.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
You said, how many picks in the second round do
you have?
Speaker 11 (36:50):
I got one, two, three, four.
Speaker 6 (36:53):
I got four in the second mid to late.
Speaker 2 (36:55):
I would try to like take two of those second
round picks and maybe white one of your bench wide
receivers and move them for a VET. So that way
you know, you have your shot in the first round,
and then you have a VET who you can rely
on and the rest of this roster is really good.
You know, you really are looking for running backs. But
if but that still leaves you, if you trade those
(37:18):
two picks and a wide receiver, that still leaves you
with two more picks in the second round plus that
first correct so you can rebuild your whole running back room.
You can get your first round guy, your VET, and
then two more shots. So and maybe you know, you
take one of those as a running back and one
of them as you know, a wide receiver to replace
(37:38):
the guy that you traded. But yeah, I mean I
think that you I think that you could really do
well if you are able to flip.
Speaker 1 (37:46):
For a veteran as well.
Speaker 2 (37:47):
What do you what type of veteran areb do you
think you could get for like Keon Coleman in two
second round picks, FITZI, what would be a fair deal.
Speaker 3 (37:58):
Jean Coleman in two seconds. So that's like maybe a
Josh Jacobs.
Speaker 2 (38:06):
Okay, yeah, Josh Jacobs, would you do that for Tyrone Tracy.
Speaker 4 (38:12):
I almost think that's too much to give up for
Tyrone Tracy.
Speaker 2 (38:15):
Maybe maybe at one second and Kean Coleman for Tyrone
Tracy or a two and a three or something like that.
Speaker 4 (38:23):
You know, yeah, these are trying.
Speaker 1 (38:26):
These are the things that you should be trying to
piece together here.
Speaker 3 (38:29):
I think, Okay, Bogs, he could also just I mean
fire dart after dart after dart at running back and
do it that way because I mean, really, he has
no other needs with this team. He set a quarterback
because this looks like it's a one QB league. He's
set a wide receiveries set a tight end. I mean,
just fire away, machine gun those running backs in the draft.
(38:52):
And uh, this class is so good that he is
going with with pure volume.
Speaker 4 (38:58):
I think he's going to get some hits.
Speaker 1 (39:00):
I think so too.
Speaker 2 (39:01):
I just think that if you could get an established
guy and then like three to four other shots, I
think you might rebuild your whole room.
Speaker 1 (39:09):
You could.
Speaker 2 (39:10):
You might do it just through shots also, and then
they're all young that way too, with so many picks.
I would try to be consolidating a little bit, that's all.
If you know, if your league is stingy, there's stingy
and you can't get it done. You know, it just
doesn't work. But I would try to. I would try
to get a vet, like I said, and then you know,
(39:31):
use the rest of the picks, like FITZI said on
this running back room, because you don't have any other
big needs.
Speaker 6 (39:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (39:37):
Well another thing too. I was kind of tossing around
the idea, is I really like Omrion Hampton? And I
just was kicking around the idea. I tried straight up
and try to draft him because he's probably gonna be
a starter no matter where he goes. I was hoping
I could get like Hampton, Judkins or maybe Henderson. But
now I'm just looking at all those guys and I
(39:58):
just don't think I gonna fall to me now with
like how their combines went.
Speaker 4 (40:02):
Yeah, I mean you could do that, yeah, Like.
Speaker 11 (40:06):
Or is that just putting too much eggs in one basket?
Speaker 1 (40:08):
No, I don't think.
Speaker 3 (40:09):
So he's really good as long as you're not dealing
like for these picks, right, you know, as long as
it's just I don't.
Speaker 4 (40:18):
As long as it's a reasonable price to move up.
Speaker 3 (40:20):
I'm I think that's a solid option.
Speaker 2 (40:24):
Okay, exactly, Yeah, let us know, let us know how
it goes. That's uh, you know, I think you got
a chance to to remake this into a contender.
Speaker 1 (40:34):
And you said you rebuilt this team, this was a fixed.
Speaker 11 (40:37):
Up Yeah, yeah, yeah, this I this is my third
year in the Dynasty League, and I showed you guys.
I talked to you guys a year ago about with
my team, and it's changed completely a much and kept Chase.
Speaker 2 (40:54):
Kidding, just kidding, but yeah, I mean this because you
have I mean it's pretty Chase Hanky McBride, Addison, he's
got a lobby in there. He's kind of questionable. But
we told you the benchwide receiver, So really it's just
finding those running backs. So yeah, I think I think
you can do it. A bunch of different paths to
(41:14):
it as well. So a good luck on the rebuild
and let us know how it goes. We have who
is this?
Speaker 1 (41:20):
Joe? What's up?
Speaker 4 (41:21):
Joe?
Speaker 1 (41:22):
How are we doing? My friend?
Speaker 10 (41:24):
Hey, guys's just got a couple quick questions for you.
The first is I recently took over an orphan team
that is really a hard rebuild, and the best asset
on the team is by far Jalen Hurts the Super
Flex League twelve team Dart nine and never really had
(41:45):
to deal with the downchare before and trying to figure
out fair value, I've been stopping him around, gotten some
low balls, gotten some interesting offers, and one I've been
zeroing in on is Break May and the one ten.
Speaker 6 (41:58):
This year simply a third on top.
Speaker 10 (42:02):
Do you think that's approaching fair value to move off Hurts?
I currently don't have a first in this draft and
really could use some sort of tight ends, and I
think that's a good range for it at the one ten,
obviously not forcing anything, but just thinking Drake May one
ten possibly a future third.
Speaker 1 (42:21):
Your thoughts, what do you think, FITZI?
Speaker 3 (42:24):
I would love that return, Yes, yeah, especially with the third.
Speaker 4 (42:28):
I would you Drake May ranked?
Speaker 3 (42:32):
Yes, same, I would take I would take Drake May
in one ten for Hurts. I've Drake May ranked one
spot below behind Jalen Hurts in Dynasty.
Speaker 4 (42:41):
I think May's fantastic.
Speaker 2 (42:43):
Yeah, And FITZI is a little higher on me than
I am, but not by much. You know, I have
Hurts of five and May at eight. You know, I
have Mahomes and Nixon between, So yeah, I think that, Uh,
I think i'd pull the trigger on that because you're
getting a first round back, you're not taking a huge
is great or discount, and you're getting younger at quarterback too,
(43:04):
So yeah, yeah, especially if.
Speaker 10 (43:06):
Exact I won't taggle over the third too long.
Speaker 1 (43:10):
Yeah, yeah, done, Yeah, pull the trigger.
Speaker 10 (43:14):
And then the second question, Yeah, it is for a
different this is my home league, much different situation, hoping
to contend. Really feel pretty solid at all the positions,
but running back. I dropped my roster in the chat earlier.
But I have the one O four and the one
O seven and then a bunch of thirds for.
Speaker 7 (43:33):
The one oh four.
Speaker 10 (43:34):
Obviously, if you know, this all depends on how things
play out, but I feel like that's the.
Speaker 4 (43:39):
End of the tier.
Speaker 10 (43:40):
Probably is one O four the one oh seven. I
have interest from a pretty running back loaded team on
that pick. He's already offered me Kenneth Walker and Sharbonnay
for that pick. He also has Chase Brown. Is that
something you'd be willing to move before we actually know
how the draft out or should I probably be patient
(44:04):
and see what we where the landing spots end up.
Speaker 4 (44:08):
So just and Walker for one oh seven.
Speaker 1 (44:12):
Yeah, do that one too.
Speaker 4 (44:16):
I think I would also take that one.
Speaker 1 (44:17):
Yes, yeah, these.
Speaker 10 (44:19):
Are going back to the Seattle conversation from earlier. Are
you concerned that their offense takes a step backwards with
them not really investing too much in the O line
and Darnold's coming in and maybe maybe seeing some ghosts.
Speaker 2 (44:32):
I think they're gonna invest those picks into the O line.
So I think I think the on line will because
the tackles are good. The interior is what's bad. So
I think they'll fix the interior. And then with trading
a bunch of wide receivers, I think you trade you know, uh,
cut you cut lock at, you trade Metcalf. I think
you signed cup cups good. But we know he's old,
(44:55):
uh and declining right in Seattle knows that it's not
a surprise them. So I think you're gonna run the
crap out of the ball if you're Seattle. And remember McDonald,
their head coach came from Baltimore, where you run and
play defense, right, that's their philosophy. So that was you know,
he's a defensive guy. But that was what they had
(45:17):
in Baltimore that worked so well. So I think that
that's what they're getting back to. I think that's why
they fired Grub is to get to the ground game.
Speaker 1 (45:25):
More so.
Speaker 2 (45:26):
If you have both those guys, you have Walker who
is undoubtedly one of the best running backs in the league,
but he's injury prone, and you have his backup who
proved himself last year, you know, you just have a
guaranteed running back spot for a pick at seven, which
right now is somewhat questionable.
Speaker 1 (45:45):
So I'm pulling the trigger on that one all day.
Speaker 6 (45:50):
Okay, great, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (45:53):
You got it, and let's get Let's get trades like
in Joe's league out more often. I think these are
very fair deals, and even Shade is slightly towards him.
Speaker 7 (46:03):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (46:04):
Let's see.
Speaker 2 (46:04):
We got one more person the Q on the callers.
It's Michael Scott. What is up, Michael Scott? How you
doing I'm doing well, How are you doing great?
Speaker 1 (46:14):
What do you got for us?
Speaker 6 (46:16):
Well?
Speaker 12 (46:16):
First off, I want to give a shout out to
Fits for talking me off a ledge the other day. Uh,
trading two first round picks this year and next year
for the one.
Speaker 6 (46:25):
On one this year.
Speaker 4 (46:27):
Oh okay, do you agree, Bogs?
Speaker 3 (46:29):
That would have been a little too much to get up,
go up and get Genty, So.
Speaker 6 (46:33):
It would have been the one O three and next
year's first.
Speaker 2 (46:37):
Two First is a lot. I mean, Genty's also very good,
but you know what this is? What does it for me?
I just I would want to know where he is first.
I think that's I would have to know. I might
be willing to do that trade after the draft, but
I can't do it before the draft.
Speaker 1 (46:55):
That's what I would say.
Speaker 3 (46:57):
You can put it one of three Bogs and get Hampton, right,
I love I love Gent, but like the gap between
Genty and Hampton is not worth giving up next year's first.
Speaker 4 (47:07):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (47:07):
Yeah, I think you're You're right, and I do think
landing spot matters for a lot of these guys. But
like I said, you know, what is the magical spot
that Gent lands in?
Speaker 1 (47:22):
Is it Denver?
Speaker 4 (47:23):
Right?
Speaker 1 (47:24):
Is it something different?
Speaker 7 (47:26):
You know?
Speaker 2 (47:26):
Who is really looking for running back and absolutely willing
because I don't know, If I don't know, Vegas is
the spot?
Speaker 1 (47:32):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (47:34):
So yeah, so yeah, so I think I think that
is absolutely correct.
Speaker 1 (47:39):
So shout out to fits as always.
Speaker 4 (47:42):
Fitzie, Thank you, Michael, thank you.
Speaker 6 (47:47):
Another question, just real quick.
Speaker 12 (47:48):
I posted my extremely handicapped team in the in the chat,
and I was just wondering in this in this league,
I have the one on one, but I feel with
where I'm sitting actually trying, can you direct me in
a direction with what bill they have and maybe what
sort of a return.
Speaker 1 (48:06):
At your beginning, this is a super flex.
Speaker 6 (48:09):
This is a ten team, one quarterback start.
Speaker 1 (48:12):
Ten ten team, one quarterback.
Speaker 12 (48:14):
All right, oh sorry, twelve team, sorry, twelve team.
Speaker 1 (48:18):
Twelve team, but still one quarterback, not super flex?
Speaker 6 (48:22):
Correct?
Speaker 4 (48:23):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (48:23):
You need a running back real bad, do you? But
the question is because I don't know that you have. Yeah,
you don't have two starters on this roster.
Speaker 6 (48:32):
At running No, No, I don't.
Speaker 2 (48:34):
Wide receiver is better, yeah, pickings of Wattle and Pearsaw
Palmer got a good spot as well. Outside of that,
you're kind of questionable. Tight end you have the old
man grow. Yeah, that's it grows. Yeah, I think with
running back being so bad and tight end being rough
(48:56):
and you, I mean, you know your wide receiver room.
Speaker 1 (48:58):
Is okay, but I wouldn't call it good. You don't
have like that premiere.
Speaker 6 (49:02):
No, No, it's.
Speaker 2 (49:03):
I think I'm okay, if you can get multiple first
I would move.
Speaker 3 (49:07):
Back, which teams in your draft have multiple firsts? And
do you know, like have off the top of your head,
like any certain tandems like this's the one oh five
also of the one o nine for instance?
Speaker 4 (49:19):
Does the one oh four of the one ten?
Speaker 6 (49:23):
I'm pretty sure in this league everyone has their own
draft pick in the first round.
Speaker 3 (49:29):
Okay, so yeah, that kind of handicaps here as far
as like do multiple would you just like the real
NFL the rare year where no one has more than
one first round pick?
Speaker 4 (49:40):
Right?
Speaker 9 (49:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (49:41):
Fifty when you trade for a first rounder this year
and a first rounder next year? And how high what's
or what's the what's the highest number you'd be willing
to get from this year's class plus a first next year,
not knowing what that's going to look like to trade
one oh one this year.
Speaker 4 (50:00):
In one QB. I would not want to go below
to do that.
Speaker 1 (50:08):
Yeah, that's what I ask.
Speaker 4 (50:11):
Or five.
Speaker 2 (50:12):
Yeah, Yeah, that's that's the same kind of thought process
I had, Michael, was you know, if you are trading
this for multiple I mean, you know it doesn't have
to be a pick.
Speaker 1 (50:25):
It you know, it absolutely doesn't have to be a pick.
Speaker 2 (50:27):
It could be a first round pick and a couple
of players off someone's roster.
Speaker 1 (50:30):
We can do it that way as well.
Speaker 2 (50:32):
So but I would to trade one oh one and genty,
who is very very good. I think I would need
a first round pick within the top five, as FITZI said,
and then two other guys that are going to start
on my roster, whatever that looks like, you know what
I mean. If it's a wide receiver, it's another running back,
(50:53):
If it's a tight end starter, I would want, you know,
still a pick in the top five and then two starters.
So that's how I would do it, whether that starter
as a first round pick for next year or someone
off their roster. You guys can work it out however
you want. But I want three pieces for one O one.
You agree with that, fitzim I being too bad?
Speaker 3 (51:13):
And one last alternative I'll throw out is if like
one O three or maybe one oh four is sitting
on a couple of second round picks and they wanted
to go up, I would maybe consider, like you know,
trading for one O three in the two seconds or
one o four in the two seconds for that one
oh one, and then you know you could just that
(51:34):
would with the volume, that would allow you to get
rid of some of the roster roster filler like the
juice checks and the you know, the Jonathan mingos and yeah,
lean off some of the get rid of some of
the flats on this roster.
Speaker 6 (51:52):
Yeah, the injury and buye we panic fillers that I
got there.
Speaker 1 (51:56):
The guys that was stuck at the end, right, yeah, hey, yeah,
so that's all right, thanks guys, you got it.
Speaker 2 (52:03):
Michael, appreciate your question, my friend, you betman. What do
we have in the chat here, FITZI, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (52:09):
Let's go through some of these.
Speaker 3 (52:11):
So our guy baunting shout out, baunting, what's going on? Hypothetical,
if Ashton Genty went to a below average situation, would
you consider moving another rookie running back ahead of him?
Speaker 4 (52:23):
I e.
Speaker 3 (52:24):
Genty to the Jets in Hampton to Dallas. So like,
if if Genty lands someplace where there's like another good back,
think of that, would that be enough for you.
Speaker 4 (52:35):
To put.
Speaker 2 (52:38):
Yeah, I mean that's right there. Yes, because I still too,
I still think Bryce Hall is so good. I think
it would be really stupid of the Jets to do it.
But we've seen the Jets do stupid things for years
and years, so it's not out of the realm of
possibility if in that specific situation. Yes, not too many
(53:00):
situations though, right, FITZI like, there are not a lot
of spots where Genty can go, and I think that
I would put Hampton ahead of him. I know you
have You probably have them closer than I do, but
I still think you probably still have it like that
as well, too, correct.
Speaker 3 (53:15):
Yeah, I mean it would. It would take something extreme.
It would take something like the mock draft that I
saw recently. And I'm not even going to say who
published this one to you know, protect the identity of
the stupid, but someone had Ashton Genty falling to the
Eagles at number thirty two?
Speaker 1 (53:32):
What all right?
Speaker 4 (53:34):
Right, Genty and Saquon Barkley here, they.
Speaker 2 (53:37):
Know, like there would have to be some off the
field thing for that to happen, right, Like.
Speaker 3 (53:44):
Right, it was just nonsensical, So it's not not even
worth giving it air.
Speaker 4 (53:48):
But yeah, it would.
Speaker 3 (53:49):
It would have to take some horrendous situation like that
for me to want to move Hampton pass Genty, even
though I love Hampton.
Speaker 1 (53:56):
Yeah, I think so too. Who's next?
Speaker 4 (54:00):
So no neuropathy, says Hey, appreciate you guys, Thanks buddy.
Twelve team PPR PPC, point per catch.
Speaker 1 (54:11):
Point carry, oh pill, point per.
Speaker 3 (54:13):
Carry super flex, I can send Nase and the two
seven for CMC. Feels like it might be leaving myself
too thin for much of a risk, for too much
of a risk.
Speaker 4 (54:25):
What do you think? Good move or bad move?
Speaker 3 (54:26):
I'm looking at his roster right now, it looks like
as far as contending this year, Burrow Chase got a
pretty good wide receiver core with Chase, Brian Thomas, A
Dune Say, Tucker Craft, Nase, James Connor, Tyrone Tracy. His
quarterbacks are Burrow, Trevor Lawrence, also as Kirk Cousins. So
(54:48):
it's a good team. I don't know if it's like
he's one of the favorites the championship right now. And
to me maybe that seems like a move you do
if you're right on the verge because point per carry,
I don't know that that necessarily helps McCaffrey more than
it helps Nase.
Speaker 4 (55:07):
No, you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (55:08):
Yeah, I got to be honest, I'm not doing this, but.
Speaker 4 (55:12):
Then again, two o seven's not a lot.
Speaker 3 (55:14):
But the thing is, I worry that, like, one more
major injury for CMC might be the end.
Speaker 4 (55:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (55:20):
Problem, that's my thing too, is like, and how do
we possibly trust anything that the Niners tell us about
CMC after what they did last year? Right, Like, I'm
not buying any of their stuff.
Speaker 3 (55:33):
So, yeah, so you've got CMC like this, this notoriously
injury prone running back versus Nause who's built like a
Sherman tank and never gets hurts. Like, I know, two
o seven isn't much, and maybe CMC could have one
more magical season.
Speaker 4 (55:55):
I don't know about that.
Speaker 3 (55:56):
I would go with your instinct snow neuropathy sounds like,
you know when you say you feel like it might
be leaving myself too thin for too much of a risk.
Speaker 4 (56:05):
I think we kind of agree.
Speaker 2 (56:06):
Yeah, I mean, it's one of those where you can
look foolish, right, I mean, the Chargers drafts another running
back and that running back is better than Nause by
the end of the year, you know what I mean?
Like that there's a world where that happens. But I
just I just think CMC is way too much of
a risk. Right now to be trading for. So I'm
(56:27):
not going to do it. That landing spot in LA
is great for Naji so with that old line and
the way they run their offense, so I just can't
do it.
Speaker 1 (56:35):
Who's next?
Speaker 3 (56:36):
A couple more, I'll hit this real quick. Joe Pope,
by the way, mentioned that Kuiper and Jeremiah and their
latest mocks both have they think at Travis Hunter's getting
drafted as a wide receiver. Thanks, sorry, I missed that.
Speaker 4 (56:48):
Joe Poe. Just one buck.
Speaker 3 (56:50):
What's Darnold's value in a sixteen team superflex QB two?
Speaker 2 (56:56):
I have him at QB twenty seven. I have Sam
Donald QB twenty eight. Were Sam Donald or Jackson dart FITZI.
Speaker 3 (57:10):
I've got Donald one spot higher, twenty seven versus twenty eight.
Speaker 1 (57:13):
I have them reversed.
Speaker 2 (57:14):
I have Darted twenty seven and Donald at twenty eight.
Speaker 1 (57:18):
So that's the line right there.
Speaker 4 (57:21):
Obviously, just one bock.
Speaker 3 (57:22):
The sixteen team format spikes the value of these these
QB three types. Yes, he's QB two slash QB three
types like you know, like even in a twelve team superflex,
guys like that would have value. Guys with assured starting
jobs to whom a team has made a multi year commitment.
(57:43):
So yeah, still pretty substantially valuable. And I would say,
like just to try to like some sort of number
to it, Like we've got his value in the trade
value charted forty seven, and I would move that up
a little bit because of the sixteen team element. So
I think he'd be worth the equivalent of like maybe,
(58:06):
like I know, bogs, who would you rather have in
that sort of format, Xavier Worthy or Sam Darnold Boo.
Speaker 2 (58:15):
I think I would close, Yeah, yeah, I think I
would rather have Worthy, but it would be pretty close.
Speaker 4 (58:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (58:22):
Yeah, So I think that's the kind of value we're
talking about, Like that the value of a good young
receiver like Worthy. Jordan Addison maybe might be in that
same grouping.
Speaker 1 (58:32):
Yeah, yeah, exactly. Well, yeah, I think you're right.
Speaker 2 (58:34):
And I do think that, you know, regardless of where
we put those guys to me, looking at my rankings,
that would there's definitely a tear break there between those
guys because the next guy I have is Matthew Stafford,
who we know, you know, how much longer is he
holding on? He'd like the last guy in the NFL
born in the eighties there and then it's like, you know,
(58:57):
Gino's old. Jalen Milrose a question. I mean, who else
Daniel Jones if he gets a starting job. Kirk Cousins
if he gets traded to Pittsburgh is also old like
that there, those two guys starting in Darnold, to me
are the absolute end of a tier. So I think, yeah,
I love that you pointed that out Fitsie, that they're
(59:20):
gonna be You was still high even though it's low
for quarterbacks.
Speaker 3 (59:22):
So yeah, yeah, we got about three more when it
tried to speed through these, all right, no neuropathy against
second question, I sent away aj Brown and got back
Nausey Parsaul and the two oh seven. Did I get
enough back for Brown? I'm gonna say, yeah, I think
that's fair value. If if not a good deal, I
(59:45):
kind of like it.
Speaker 1 (59:45):
Agreed.
Speaker 2 (59:46):
I think it's exactly fair. I think that like works
out for both sides, So I like.
Speaker 3 (59:51):
That, totally totally agree, good good deal for both. Powerfold
says Powerfold ninety eight ten teams, super Flex, Point, tight End,
Premium Start ten traded Stroud, Davante Williams and Brandon ayuk
Or one O three one oh four and two oh
five already have one oh one, two oh one, rio one,
(01:00:14):
et cetera. Thinking about trading the one oh three or
one oh four for Odons or a wide receiver in
that range.
Speaker 1 (01:00:24):
Thoughts, Yeah, I think I would you trade one oh
four for Odons.
Speaker 4 (01:00:31):
One O three or one oh four.
Speaker 2 (01:00:32):
I don't think I do one O three because this
is super flex. It's genty Ward and Hampton, so I
want one of those guys right tight end premium, I
don't know half point. Also, it's not like our other
crazy league we're talking about, so it doesn't push warn
up there. So I think i'd trade four for Odons.
Would you take oduonsa over tet pretty close?
Speaker 4 (01:00:52):
Yeah? Pretty close.
Speaker 3 (01:00:54):
I do think I've got Odoons ranked ahead of Tetes.
Speaker 4 (01:00:59):
So I would definitely.
Speaker 3 (01:01:02):
I think I would do it for one O four
and one O three is closer, like I wouldn't hate
it in a super flex now, I'm probably not doing
one O three, but I would do it for one
O four same. I know that's like a weird distinction.
Speaker 4 (01:01:17):
I take one O three.
Speaker 2 (01:01:19):
I think what we just say, it's gent Ward Hampton
and then the other guys. So yeah, I'm I'm perc
with you, FITZI all right.
Speaker 4 (01:01:29):
And uh let's see if we have I.
Speaker 3 (01:01:31):
Believe one more here, Cammy, Yeah, Hammi, Hey, guys, would
you trade JJ McCarthy, Ben Sinnett, McCarthy and sinnate the
one O nine and Isaiah likely the twelve team super flex?
I have Lamar, Dak and Nix as my qbs. JJ
McCarthy is my QB four is one O nine and
(01:01:55):
likely enough JJ McCarthy bogs. Basically, you know, we're thinking
Sinate probably doesn't have a huge amount of value.
Speaker 2 (01:02:06):
Yeah, I think I would. And this is a it's
a team context thing, you know what I mean. You
just you just don't need McCarthy because you have Lamar, Dak,
and Nicks. You have Lamar who's like in his prime,
you have Nick who's young. You have Dak who is
your veteran. So you have three options. Uh, so you
don't really need McCarthy. I don't do you. Would you
(01:02:28):
would you hold on to McCarthy to try to get
a better deal fits or would you take this deal?
Speaker 4 (01:02:34):
I think I'd try to hold out for a better deal.
Speaker 1 (01:02:36):
Yeah, that was kind of like that. If this is
the best thing.
Speaker 2 (01:02:41):
Yeah, I mean I maybe I would pull the trigger,
but I would try to hold out for a better deal.
Speaker 3 (01:02:46):
Yeah, I think it's not quite enough, Hammy. Honestly, one
O nine is just Yeah, there's gonna be some good
players down at one O nine, but unfortunately, like I
don't know, if you're you're moving around with the tight
ends you're getting likely and that might be where some
tight end value is with Tyler Warren or Carlston Loveland.
Speaker 1 (01:03:07):
Perhaps.
Speaker 3 (01:03:08):
Yeah, I just one O nine is kind of a
weird spot because they're a number of interesting players there,
but no one who really, I think you're is just
going to be like the definitive, Yes, this is the guy.
Speaker 4 (01:03:20):
I'm glad I traded JJ McCarthy to get this.
Speaker 3 (01:03:23):
I just think you can get more in that deal
for a guy who the Vikings are committing to it
looks like as their long term starter and are surrounding
with incredible talent. Now not only do they have those receivers,
but they brought in all these offensive linemen. They've totally
fortified the middle of the old line. No more Gret
Garrett Bradbury to push around anymore. Evan O'Connell calling the
(01:03:47):
plays like. I know Derek Brown loves JJ McCarthy. I'm
not quite as over the moon for him as debro is,
but man, it does look like McCarthy is being set
up pretty nicely here, and I don't think that's.
Speaker 4 (01:04:02):
Quite enough of he return on that hammy.
Speaker 1 (01:04:05):
Yeah, same.
Speaker 2 (01:04:06):
I think again, if this is the best deal because
McCarthy is four and barried, like you're going to get
a starter at nine most likely, I can see the
appeal of it, But I do think you can do better,
and I think just McCarthy has so much upside that
I would want to keep him. So yeah, I think
a different deal.
Speaker 3 (01:04:27):
Yes, sir, you want to sneak in one more from
our guy, herbs and cheese, let's go.
Speaker 4 (01:04:30):
He's stuck around all.
Speaker 3 (01:04:31):
This time, all right, Herbs and cheese traded away Darnold
and the two to three or a twenty twenty six
first and the three to five decent return. Have McCarthy
and Stafford on my bench still. So herbs and cheese.
Is this Are we talking one QB or super flex?
I guess it depends.
Speaker 4 (01:04:52):
I like it a lot. If it's one QB, I'm.
Speaker 1 (01:04:55):
Going to assume it super flex.
Speaker 4 (01:04:58):
Yeah, superflex ten team, the ten team that slightly devalues
the quarterbacks as opposed to a twelve team. Donald and
the two oh three twenty twenty six first.
Speaker 2 (01:05:12):
I it just really depends on where that first is,
you know what I mean? Because so I'm getting a
top five pick, I like it. If if it's you know,
like we just talked about nine, ten, eleven, I guess
nine or ten expecting the team to be bad, then
I like this trade.
Speaker 4 (01:05:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:05:29):
Then I then I don't mind it as much as
if you're nowhere near contention this year, because clearly you're
kicking the can down the road a little bit. You're
selling off Donald now for that twenty twenty six first,
and you're downgrading yourself in this year's draft.
Speaker 4 (01:05:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:05:43):
I mean I think it's perfectly fine, pretty fairy building team.
Speaker 1 (01:05:47):
Pretty fair.
Speaker 2 (01:05:47):
Yeah, exactly, And that is it for us, Fitsy before
we go, what do you have coming up this week?
Speaker 3 (01:05:55):
Well, I've got I guess a mock NFL draft two
point zero come out in the next day or two.
So check that out, Bogs. I give the Steelers Jackson
dart Or just speak preview.
Speaker 2 (01:06:07):
Yeah, that's I mean, I don't want Mason Rudolph at
the Helm the whole year. So if we're not getting
Aaron Rodgers or Russell Wilson will then I'll I'll take
Jackson Dart all day.
Speaker 3 (01:06:20):
So are you cool with Dart even if you do
get like re signed Ross.
Speaker 2 (01:06:25):
Yes, because I don't like, I have zero percent trust
in Mason Rudolph. And I know a lot of Steelers
fans like him. I'm not one of them.
Speaker 4 (01:06:33):
So and we know that that's the problem.
Speaker 3 (01:06:36):
And you know the Steelers are never gonna suck, right,
So they're not going to be well positioned for QB
next year either, right, I think Yeah, if Dart falls
to them at number twenty one, I think you just
take it.
Speaker 2 (01:06:46):
Gotta pull the trigger. But the biggest thing for the
Steelers is re signed TJ.
Speaker 1 (01:06:50):
Watt. That's my big thing.
Speaker 2 (01:06:53):
I'm recording a mock draft with Debro and ericson on Friday.
I think that comes out next week ear least, so
check that out. That's what I got coming up over
on the Pros. So that is it for us today
on the Fantasy Pros Dynasty Fantasy Football Podcast.
Speaker 1 (01:07:09):
We will see you guys next time. Take it easy, everybody.
