Speaker 1 (00:04):
Hello everybody, Welcome in to the Fantasy Pros Dynasty Football Podcast.
I'm Ryan Warmly joined by Pat Fitzmorris. It is our
monthly Discord Stages check in. We call it the Trade Block.
We are talking about the latest updates to the Trade
Value Chart, which you can find at Fantasypros dot com
where you can just go ahead and google Dynasty Trade
Value Chart and Fantasy Pros will go through some of
(00:26):
those updates, and then in the second half of the
show we will take your questions you the listeners, so
anybody here on Discord can put those in the chat.
They can raise their hand. It'll be about roughly thirty
minutes or so. The whole show is going to be
an hour or so. The back thirty minutes or so
is when you should be able to expect us to
pull you up and start talking to you and answering
your questions live fits Does that all sound good?
Speaker 2 (00:47):
That does sound good? Worm great to be doing a
show with you. We have not been together for a while.
You've been doing some traveling. I took a little golfication
with some guys from the company so nice to.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
I was gonna say, it feels like it has been
a minute.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Actually, you know, I was back east. I went to Baltimore.
I hit up an Orioles game with my family. We
were there for my grandfather passed away a few months ago,
and we did a celebration of life. We waited for
the spring because baseball was super important him. So we
actually got a box at Camden Yards, which I had
never done before, so having a suite there with like
thirty plus members of the family. It was my nephew's
(01:20):
first baseball game. We ate some crabs, we played some games.
It was a really fun time and and a fun
way to really remember him. And he's the type of
person who would have like rolled his eyes at us
making a big fuss, but we were all happy to
do it, and it was It was very fun to
get to see everybody and go to, you know, the
Oriols game and experience it in the way I hadn't before.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
So that was that was fun. How was the golf trip.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
It was good down in Myrtle Beach, and yeah, it was.
It was nice. So it was like, we've had a
really cold spring in the Midwest, so you know, now
it's warmed up this week. But that gave us a
little early taste, and you know, it's always good to
get together with some of the guys from the company.
And you know, I most we played terrible golf, except
my one brief shunning moment of confidence came in the
(02:05):
one match we were playing for money, so you know,
you save some money with everybody. Really, yeah, it seemed
that way, but yeah, then I quickly went back to
being being garbage after that.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
So I am horrific at golf, but I always have fun.
I always say I'm there for a little bit of
sun and a lot.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
Of bit of beer.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
Is why I golfed, and it's it's usually a good time.
So all right, let's dive into the updates to the
Dynasty Trade valued chart. We'll go through a position by
position as we usually do, and fits. This is particularly
exciting because this is the first one of these, you know,
iterations of this show post draft.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
We finally have landing spots.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
We've answered tons of questions over the previous months from
folks about you know, if so and so goes here,
how much higher do they move? You know, you know,
Gent's number one, no matter what, But where could Mary
Hampton go? How much higher could he get? In the
right lanth spot, we can finally talk about these guys.
He's been a couple weeks since the draft for anybody
who's looking for Dynasty content in general, but for us
on this show on Discord, it's our first one since
(03:06):
the draft, so that is particularly exciting.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
Well start, I.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Think with the quarterbacks we were usually do and there
really wasn't a whole lot of movement here. The biggest thing,
and you know, let us be the latest podcast to
talk about Shidoor Sanders. He's clearly the biggest follower, just
given what we kind of expected to see out of
his draft capital and.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
What we did see.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
He's now on our trade value chart all the way
down at QB thirty one. I know you are a
big Shdoor Sanders fan. Do you think that might actually
beat if he is the player that you think he
is and maybe he fell for whatever, you know, the
circus surrounding him stuff was. If he gets a chance
to start in Cleveland, that's going to look pretty low.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
It is, for sure, Wor. And the nice thing is,
you know that the Browns are going to audition both
Shador and Dylan Gabriel this year. They absolutely have to.
They have to know where they stand a quarterback going
into twenty twenty six, which looks to be a quarterback
rich draft, So they've got to get that sorted out.
(04:09):
You know, they have to know whether they can possibly
eat chart a course forward with one of the rookies
in this year's draft. So yeah, I'm still pretty high
on him. Obviously, there were concerns about the circus coming
along with Shador and like having Dione Sanders as his dad,
who has expressed interest in eventually becoming an NFL head coach,
(04:34):
and what organization wants to bring in a guy who
might be, you know, bucking to coach his son at
some point and at you know, great, I know, great
headaches for whatever the current regime is. So I do
get it. I didn't really think that was going to
happen the way it did. I thought some team would
(04:54):
suck it up and take him, but it didn't happen.
But still, I mean, I think he's a good quarterback
and you know, like he does a lot of the
things we want quarterbacks to do in the NFL, work
through progressions, throw with anticipation, be accurate, not throw balls
in the danger. And I don't know, I'm still high on
(05:16):
the player, but obviously we had to dock him after
the precipitous slide. Yeah, in the drug.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
But let me ask you this.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
Let's say he was drafted with their first pick in
the second round, or even let's say the situation is
what it is, but next month they come out and say,
you know what, we botched it. He should have gone
way higher. This is our starting quarterback. Where would he
rank for you amongst dynasty quarterbacks in that scenario? If
the Browns make it clear he is their starter at
the very least going into Week one.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Right around where Jackson Dart is. Yeah, I still think
he's a better player than Jackson Dart, but after where
they went in the draft, I have to rank Dart higher.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
Yeah, Dart rises a little bit in the chart, but
he's essentially in the same spot he was. It's very
minor upgrade that we have with him officially getting that
first round capitol.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
I actually thought he might go up more.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
I'm not sure who he should have gone ahead of,
so maybe I'd take it back and saying I thought
he would have gone up more. But it wasn't a
sure thing that he was going to be a first
round picks to the fact that he is I would
have thought in super flex would maybe give him a
little stronger standing. The other rookie, of course, is Tyler Shuck,
who now with Derek Carr's announcement, which again came after
the draft, he is now inside our top thirty two
(06:25):
on the Dynasty Trade Value chart.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
He is QB thirty two.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
But he is going to give the opportunity to be
their starter, which is going to be valuable in.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
A super flex.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
It is going to be valuable in a super flex
at least if he demonstrates some competence. And you know,
that's right in line with where I have him at,
Like I still have Matthew Stafford ranked higher, just on
the basis of expecting one or two more good seasons
from Matthew Stafford, not knowing if we'll ever get even
one good season out of Tyler Shuck. But the quarterbacks
(06:56):
in the Saints QB room right now are Tyler Shuck,
Spencer Rattler, and Jake Hayner. And out of those guys,
I mean, I think Chuck has probably got the leg
up because Rattler was what a fifth, Hayter was a
fourth Chuck was in early second.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
I liked Rattler.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
If they hadn't taken Chuck, I would have been really
not excited but intrigued to see what would happen with
him in that QB competition. But obviously you can't be
too enthusiastic about it now. Before we move off quarterbacks,
just obviously we had to hit on the rookies, who
are all, given the nature of this class, ranked a
little bit lower. Looking at the top, I was just
(07:33):
kind of skimming through. Again, not a ton of big changes,
So I don't want to spend too much time on this,
but I'm just curious as we sit here, we've now
seen what these teams have done in the draft. We
have a sense of what supporting casts are going to be.
The top six are pretty clear. I mean, you can
obviously discuss the order, but in some order. Daniels, Alan Jackson, Burrow,
Mahomes Hurts. I think it's going to be most people's
(07:55):
top six in some order. Who is QB Assuming you
have the same top six, so correct me if you don't,
But assuming you have the same top six, who is
your QB seven?
Speaker 3 (08:05):
Because you look at the next names.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
Herbert Stroud may love Caleb I mean, has a lot
of stuff around him. I could see a scenario where
any of those guys are looking. I could see those
guys being ranked in any order. As of right now,
it's Drake May for me.
Speaker 2 (08:19):
I just thought he was really impressive as a rookie,
considering the grim circumstances he was in with a terrible
offensive line and not a lot of pass catching weaponry.
He is going to run aggressively, and I think that
was almost sort of disguised last year, like he didn't
run quite as much as I thought he would, But man,
he is going to be He's going to put points
(08:41):
on the board for fantasy managers with his running. And
I think there's a lot of passing upside too, especially
now that they have brought in Stefan Diggs and drafted
Kyle Williams and made some additions to the offensive line.
So I'm expecting a step forward for Drake May in
year two, and I think year one was actually pretty
I am.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
Right there with you.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
I mean, I really like all these guys, Like actually
have our work league that we're in that I won
last year, not to brak our work Dynasty League.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
I have Stroud May and Herbert are my three quarterbacks.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
So that kind of group that Trio and then Jordan
Love right after them, and our rankings that seven to
ten range, I think is really fascinating. Obviously, I'm pretty
happy with that with that group with I'm very in
on Drake May. I think I think you might be
the only person of the company who likes Drake May
as much as I do in terms of our dynasty value.
(09:32):
Here also, just in scanning just quickly, I want to say,
like Trevor Lawrence at fifteen.
Speaker 4 (09:36):
I.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
Maybe I'm the fool, but I'm buying in one last time.
I mean, I'm not going to give him another year
after this, but I would be looking to buy Trevor
Lawrence if he's being valuating those teens range.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
Yeah, I've got him at sixteen and you know, right
behind Michael Panix, Kyler Murray and brock Party and I
could actually make a case for putting him ahead of
any of those guys.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
I don't think he's going to be sixteenth next year.
I think he's either going to be like, Okay, this
is never happening. We're dropping him like maybe lower into
the twenties, or he does put it all together with
the new coaching staff. They added Travis Hunter and he's
up inside that top twelve. I don't expect him to
be in the mid teens, but I don't I'm not
one hundred percent sure which direction it'll go. I'm just
(10:20):
buying in on it being a positive direction.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
There has to be a step forward this year, no question.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
Yeah, let's look at the running backs here. Obviously, Ashton
Genty was already very highly valued. To what degree did
the landing spot of Vegas change his value in your
estimation when putting together the trade value chart?
Speaker 2 (10:38):
Yeah, so his value increased by two points and I
think that's reasonable. Like they had a vacancy for a
heavy duty running back, there is not anyone who is
going to like push for significant playing time other than
the occasional breather for Ashton Genty. Even though the Raiders
offensive line did not fare all that well in the
(10:59):
run blocking metrics last year, I think there were thirtieth
and adjusted lineyards and I think thirty second in PFF's
run blocking ratings. But I don't think it's a terrible
offensive line as far as personnel, and I love that
Chip Kelly is the play caller. You know chip Kelly
has had balanced offenses. I think there was the idea
(11:20):
that he was pass heavy. It's not really the case.
But what we like about him is that he operates
his offenses at a breakneck pace. There is not a
lot of time in between offensive snaps and a chip
Kelly offense, and that like, that's great at the margins.
It means more plays per game, more touch opportunities for
(11:40):
your players in a chip Kelly offense. So great landing spot.
And we know, we know, Grandpa Pete Carroll's going to
want to run the ball. He always did in Seattle,
So yeah, good landing spot.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
It's kind of ironic hearing you call somebody grandpa.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
I'm glad leave it at that.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Carol is older than I am, worm not by much.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
But I was gonna say that gap is closer than
it is between you and me. Right, I think it
actually might be pretty similar. I won't put you on
blast with your actual age out there for everybody, but
they can guess they've seen the videos.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
I want to ask you.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
I asked you this with Bogman directly after the draft,
and I'm curious now that we've had some time to
really kind of sit with the landing spots. What percentage
chance would you give Action Genty for at any point
in his career being the consensus dynasty RB one, because
right now it is still.
Speaker 3 (12:33):
Be Jean Robinson Genty's third on our list.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
And I thought, and I will say, the number that
you guys put out when I asked you this question
immediately after the draft, I thought your number was a
little low.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
So I'm curious if you change it at all.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
You asked me what percentage?
Speaker 3 (12:47):
Yes, I don't know if you even remember what number
you guys said.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
Oh man, I'm curious.
Speaker 1 (12:51):
I find that what percentage chance he has ever RB
one in dynasty? Like consensus, everybody agrees on this.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
I mean, I'm going to say it's under fifty, but
not too far under fifty.
Speaker 4 (13:00):
Like.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
Okay, So that that, I think is a lot more fair.
The initial response from you and Bogman, if you remember
on our marathon recording day that Monday after the draft,
was more in the like thirty to thirty three percent range.
And I thought that was a touch low because because
I feel, I mean, obviously Bijon and Gibbs are great,
I can't really imagine anybody else that's in the league
(13:22):
right now, surpassing Genty. You know, stuff could change, right injuries, whatever,
but as of right now, it's really hard to imagine that.
And I kind of feel like there's a there's a
real scenario where Genty is clearly ahead of Gibbs a
year from now, and it just becomes kind of a
Bijon Genty race. And if Genty has a better year,
because like Bijeon has been good obviously, but maybe a
little disappointing from what that immense hype was when he
(13:45):
came into the league. I don't want to knock Beijon.
He obviously you'd be very happy to have him on
your dynasty roster, but you know, not that kind of
generational like Adrian Peterson level back. So if Genty does
what we think he will in year one and Bijon
has another like very good but maybe not like record
setting year, I think that percentage has to be at
least forty, and for me it's probably like fifty.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
You're right, there aren't that many candidates, and beyond the
veterans we mentioned, which is probably just the shortlist of
Bijon and Gibbs for the most part, like it would
probably have to be one of the other rookies from
this class, like if Trayvon Henderson just like blows us
away with how good he is, or RJ. Harvey or
(14:27):
Caleb Johnson OutKick expectations or Judkins or Hampton. So it
would probably have to be a scenario like that. But
I don't know, Like, I still love Bjeon Robinson and
I think we finally saw last year like this dude
is the truth. Like I mean, I think he's just fantastic,
and that is the bar that Genty is trying to
(14:47):
reach his rookie year.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
In no way, shape or form.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
Am I trying to disparage Bijeon to be really clear,
I know, I just I mean Genty. We talked about
Genty in the same way we talked about Bijon two
years ago coming into the league, yep, and he gets
to start fresh. He's a little younger, he doesn't have
the I don't even want to say stink, but he
doesn't have the like we've seen the ways this could
(15:10):
not be as elite yet, so there's still the kind
of that hope level with him of you know, being
the clear number one guy.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
So Jen t doesn't have to he doesn't have to
play for Arthur Smith.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
Yes, that is a massive well. One guy who was
playing for Arthur Smith is Caleb Johnson. I was surprised
to see Johnson's value change went down in our trade
value chart.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
On the one hand, I get.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
It that he was a third round pick, but on
the other hand, I mean, everybody's talking about what a
sublime fit this is. I think it was a Nate
Tice who said he's honey shrunk Derrick Henry. Now he's
playing for Arthur Smith, who has coached Derrick Henry to
great success.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
Like this is such a such a.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
Wonderful landing spot that I'm not saying I'm necessarily surprised
he's below like R. J. Harvey took a huge leap
ahead of him. That is very warranted, I think, But
I was surprised to see his value go down rather
than up with the landing spot.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
Yeah, And I think I want to say it was
JJ zach Reeson, who was a Steelers fan who had
like when he ran his Model two of the comps
he got for Caleb Johnson pre draft where Le'Veon Bell
and James Connor. So it does seem like the Steelers
have a type, and yeah, maybe the dip is related
to the third round draft capitol when I think we
(16:23):
were all expecting second round for him. And I do
think we have to beware here because Arthur Smith does
use multiple running backs and I think we know that
Jalen Warren was going to stay involved and maybe Kenny
Gainwell does too. It is a good spot, like an
early down thumper on the Steelers, like it just feels right.
(16:44):
So you know, I'm a little surprised that he did drop,
But we had him pretty high to begin with, probably
largely because of Deebro's rankings, and Deebro loves Caleb and
had him as his RB two.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
Pre draft, I traded from my receiver depth to get
the one ten in our work league with Jonathan who's
a guy behind the scenes who does great work for us.
And it was because I was desperately needed a running
back and I five running backs had already gone off
the board in the first nine picks, and I was like,
I have to go up. And I had the twelfth
(17:18):
pick and I desperately need one, and Caleb was the
last one left and I was really happy to get
him there at one ten. And as soon as I
drafted him, Debro started sending me messages like what's it
going to take to get Caleb Johnson?
Speaker 3 (17:28):
So we know how much he likes him. He loves
R J. Harvey two of course.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
Yeah, the Rookie is just to kind of share where
they fell. None of them took like crazy leaps outside
of like Harvey jumping up a ton, which I think
is pretty apparent to everybody why that happened. You know,
Maryon Hampton's our sixth highest value running back in this
Dynasty trade valued chart. Henderson tenth, Judkins eleventh, RJ. Harvey eighteenth,
Caleb Johnson nineteenth, the very clear top six. There was
(17:54):
there anybody as I scroll through, I mean a couple
of guys like obviously Najie Harris I think is a
big one who falls because of the rookie edition. There
were Mandre Stevenson falls a bit as well. Anybody stand
out to you that like we really should be knocking
down and maybe even a little bit further than they
did get knocked down because of a new addition to
the backfield that we saw.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
Yeah, I mean we have to knock Tyrone Tracy a
little bit. But I think the big one for him
is Travis Etn, Like his future is really uncertain. It's
this last year in Jacksonville, this new regime with their
new young general manager and Liam Cohen as the new
head coach, Like they have no loyalty to Travis Etn,
(18:33):
And they went out and picked bay Shall Tuton, like
they identified him as a guy who fits what they
want to do in the draft, and you know, put
some fairly significant draft capital into him, and you know
he's younger and probably has more juice than Travis Etn.
So whereas I think you could still see daylight for
(18:55):
Tank Bigsby as a complimentary back to bay Shall Tuton,
it is hard to see Travis Etn, especially coming off
a year in which, like Etn, was just bad by
pretty much any metric, Like he was he was underwater
in the yards above, rushing yards above expectation, like his
number was negative last year, like Tank Bigsby just dramatically
(19:18):
outperformed him last year, And like I just I don't
think this bodes well. The only thing that could result
in a win I guess for Travis Etn's dynasty value
is if the Jaguars just decided to deal him to
like the Cowboys or something like that, or the Bears,
(19:39):
some other team that needs might need another running back.
But even then, even then, I don't know how much
optimism there would be with ETN on the Cowboys, since
you know they also have Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders
and Jayden Blue.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
I thought that Javante might have gone up a bit
in these rankings because it's not.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
Like he's that old.
Speaker 1 (19:59):
Yeah, and another year removed from the injury, somebody that
you loved pre injury as a player, and they didn't
go out and get Jen didn't fall out of them.
They didn't take Hampton, they didn't ta. I mean, they
took Blue, who was a player we liked, but I
think we might like more for the opportunity than, as
you know, somebody that we were going to be really
(20:20):
excited to see the landing spot. Regardless, there's a real
runway here, And like I Miles Sanders is a nothing
burger right at this point. So like, if this offense
is any good at all, which I think it could
be with DAK and CD, and if Pickens's head is
even halfway screwed on, right, like, I think there might
be real scoring opportunities here for Javonte this year. I'm
(20:42):
not saying he needs to be a top twenty four
back or anything, but he's currently forty third, like behind Goya,
like Remandre and Najie Harris. Now with Hampton there, I
was a little surprised by that.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
Yeah, and it's possible the medical issues now being further
in the rear view mirror for him that like we
do see him looks something closer to what he was
pre injury early in his career, which would be awesome,
but we just haven't seen much juice since his return.
I guess that's the problem. So jury very much out.
(21:13):
But yeah, the Dallas running back situation is really interesting,
and I see that stun Black Raptor in the chat
is asking what do we think about Jayden Blue. It
was a great landing spot for him, but he is,
you know, like I tend to think he is going
to be their third down back. I just don't know
(21:33):
how much room there is for him to do more
because he super fast but also pretty small. I don't
think they want him carrying the mail fifteen to twenty
times a game. It's just a matter of how much
they can put on his plate, and I don't know.
I also heard and I don't know. I mean I
(21:53):
hesitate to repeat something like this because we don't know.
But like maybe there were some concern about just like
off the field or dedication or something like that, Like
maybe the intangibles were not the best with him. So
we'll see. It's gonna be really interesting. And I had
that's something we're gonna have to monitor in August for sure.
Speaker 1 (22:14):
We have a real grouping of rookies in this range,
the in the RB fifties range, Blue Sampson, Jordan, James Jarquez, Hunter,
Devin Neil, DJ Giddens, Trevor Etn, Woodie, Marx. These guys
are all within two points of value points on our
trade value charge, even right behind Marx, Burshard, Smith, Taj
(22:36):
Brooks are just another kind of value point behind. So
like to a degree, do you see that as like
personal preference, like you could if somebody liked a different
player than you preferred in that grouping, You can see it.
Do you see anybody separating themselves from that group? It
feels like that kind of range of the you know,
third like back half of the third round of rookie drafts,
(22:57):
early part of the fourth round of rookie drafts is
just some order all these guys.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
Yeah, that's that's exactly it. I mean, jark Ques Hunter
goes to a place where they've already got Kyrin Williams.
They drafted Blake Korum fairly.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
I was gonna ask you quickly, just because you mentioned
him first. I was surprised Hunter was behind Koram. I
almost thought there might we might see Okay, well, they
just took this guy within the third round.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
They must like him better.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
Yeah, I don't know how that's going to shake out,
And it's hard to figure out what the rams are
thinking with that. So, like, I mean, I like Koram
last year coming out, I thought in some ways, and
I know it was a week running back class, but
like he was maybe I thought, the best pure runner
in the class. We just didn't get to see enough
of him in his rookie year to really make any
(23:45):
further judgments about him. But like that's gonna be an
interesting training camp battle to watchworm And like Jordan James,
I mean, you can never really any decent running back
prospect on the forty nine Ers is interesting in a
Kyle Shanahan offense, where they always run the ball effectively.
And you know, Devin Neil, who was a later pick,
(24:07):
didn't get the draft capital we wanted. But man like
the Saints with Kendray Miller who can't stay healthy, and
like needing some sort of compliment to Alvin Kamara, like
the doors wide open for him to have an impact.
So yeah, there are a lot of really interesting rookies
and it would be very hard to confidently predict smash
(24:29):
hit success for any of them, but also really hard
to just dismiss any of them out of hand. I
think they all have a chance to develop into valuable
fantasy assets for dynasty.
Speaker 1 (24:40):
I wanted to get a little bit of all these
guys in my rookie drafts.
Speaker 3 (24:43):
I didn't really get any get in just the way
it worked out.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
But like I have some James, I have some Hunter,
I have some Marks, I have some Brishard Smith, I
have some Tas. Like I wanted to, there are guys
that I maybe liked a little bit better. I really
like James honestly, just the situation, Like if Christi mccaffery's hurt,
I think he's gonna be a real value. But I
want to diversify in that range is saying, you know
my approach.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
Yeah, I've got a few rookie drafts left in There
are a few you know, bingo spots I haven't filled yet,
and I really want to fill them.
Speaker 3 (25:14):
By now.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
Most of you have probably heard of Reality Sports Online,
the powerful fantasy sports platform where owners get to build
and manage their fantasy team like an NFL general manager.
Speaker 3 (25:23):
But the question is, have you tried it?
Speaker 1 (25:25):
It's time to go see what all the buzz in
the dynasty community is about. Free agency, multi year contracts
or rookie drafts, multi team trades, franchise tags, contract extensions,
first round rookie options, automated contract and salary cap functionality,
and much much more. I think it sounds complicated.
Speaker 3 (25:39):
It's not. The best thing about Reality.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
Sports online Fantasy front office is that it doesn't take
any more time than a standard league. It just requires
more strategy. Think you're among the fantasy elite, Well, this
is the platform to test your metal.
Speaker 3 (25:51):
Still not sure?
Speaker 1 (25:52):
You can test out your general manager skills for free
and a mock free agency auction. If you like what
you see, use promo code Fantasy Pros to receive a
ten percent discount.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
On your team league today.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
That's promo code Fantasy Pros to receive a ten percent
discount on your team or league today. Fantasy just got
real a reality sports online dot Com. All right, So
we went a little long in the running backs because
that was kind of the heart of this class. Receivers
are always very interesting with the rookies, though, so I
do just want to kind of take a look at
where these some of these guys sell in. You know,
Ted McMillan went in the rough range. We expected he's
(26:22):
gonna get a lot of targets Carolina, so he didn't
really move much. Travis Hunter, obviously the Jags trade up
for him. They're talking about him as an offense first player.
He is now wide receiver seventeen in this trade value chart.
He jumped up kind of fifteen value points. He's now
in the same range as Tet and t Higgins and
DeVante Smith and Romadunze are kind of the names sandwiching
(26:45):
him on either side.
Speaker 3 (26:47):
Where did you have him?
Speaker 1 (26:48):
Does that line up with you or is this moved
by kind of other rankers that go into this.
Speaker 2 (26:52):
Yeah, I've got him eighteenth, so it's it's pretty much
right in line I've got him one spot, one spot
for the No. Seventeen versus eighteen. I'm on board with it.
He's a really good prospect. Maybe he's got some superstar potential.
My only real fear with Travis Hunter is the playing
both waves thing, because if you give him a lot
(27:16):
of snaps or a significant amount of snaps on defense,
they're probably going to limit his offensive snaps a bit.
More like the top receivers, the jamar Cha, Cede Lamb,
Justin Jefferson types, those guys typically play like ninety to
ninety three percent of their team's offensive snaps. I think
that if they are giving Travis Hunter, like, you know,
(27:41):
somewhere between fifteen and twenty five defensive snaps a game,
they're not gonna let him play ninety to ninety three
percent of the offensive snaps. It might be more like
seventy five percent. And that you know, just kind of
like chops into his offensive production a little. It's gonna
like affect his target count. You know, you win and
lose Fantasy football at the margins, And that's something we
(28:04):
have to consider. Plus, there's always the possibility of a
rug pull down the road where he switches to mostly
defense and part time offense, in which case there's going
to be a huge value hit. So that's just something
looming over your head. But then you know the potential
prize with Travis Hunter being just this freakish athlete with
amazing ball skills, like he could make us look silly
(28:28):
with the ranking of wide receiver seventeen.
Speaker 1 (28:31):
Overall, I did not have the cojones to take him
in any of my rookie drafts. I just if I'm
picking in an area where you are able to get him,
which is going to be that like two to five
range in a.
Speaker 3 (28:44):
Super flex depending on the order that guys go.
Speaker 1 (28:47):
I was just not comfortable risking spending one of those
picks on a guy who gets hurt more often because
he's playing too many snaps or ultimately finds out he's
better on the defensive side, who isn't even wide receiver
one in the offense even if he is playing wide
receiver because of Brian Thomas Jr. This is this is
not me explaining my thought process as a way of
(29:08):
encouraging people to not draft him. This is just where
my head was at, and I was. I liked the
other players available enough, I liked him Maryon Hampton. I
liked Ted McMillan enough to say, let me take the
guy that I'm really confident in and not the guy
whose ceiling is as high as you know all but
like four receivers, but who is further from a sure
(29:28):
thing than any of those guys. So for me, I
don't really have any Travis Hunter, and maybe I will
feel fun like it could be weak two and I'm
sitting there like, boy did I blow it?
Speaker 3 (29:37):
But that's the way I approached it.
Speaker 2 (29:40):
I had the one oh five in my home Dynasty league.
I had both Tet and Hunter on the board.
Speaker 3 (29:46):
I took Tet, Yeah, I had.
Speaker 1 (29:49):
I had Ted higher, and especially because like if Ted
fell or went to a terrible landing spot or something,
then maybe I wouldn't.
Speaker 3 (29:57):
But like he's gonna get all the targets.
Speaker 1 (29:58):
Bryce Young looks better last y ye, Like I felt
good about Ted and I am nervous about Travis Hunter.
I did want to ask about another rookie though, and
Mecca Buka a guy that you and I both really
liked as a player.
Speaker 3 (30:10):
He went up in value. A lot of people view
this as like a.
Speaker 1 (30:13):
Long term good fit him with Baker Mayfield in this offense.
But short term, obviously there's Mike Evans, There's Chris Godwin
coming off of injury. There's Jalen McMillan from last year.
There's also a new play caller in town with Liam
cohen Gon.
Speaker 2 (30:29):
So I was.
Speaker 1 (30:30):
Surprised to see the value go up because I feel like,
I think a lot of times people look at a
guy who you want to take the long view with
and you say, Okay, this is a player that we
really liked, and we could see how in year two
or three the landing spot is going to look really nice.
You're one, though, he's kind of buried on the depth
chart after that first year. Even if it plays out
(30:51):
like that and it looks like the path is kind
of opening up for them to get more targets or
carries or whatever it is for that type of player,
I feel like that value hit is still there and
you could almost even just aim to buy low in
year two.
Speaker 3 (31:04):
Does a Buka fall into that category for you where you're.
Speaker 1 (31:07):
Like, listen to Mike Evans and let's say Chris Godwin
is back healthy, are eating up all the targets in
this offense, would you rather like not draft to Buka
in your rookie draft and just say I'm going to
make some Bilo trades for him next offseason, or do
you think the value hit won't beat that much because
people are just going to kind of stay strong and
dig their heels in and believe that by year two
this will look really good.
Speaker 2 (31:28):
Yeah, and maybe I could even see the possibility of
some year one impact, Like I just I think he's
a better player than Jalen McMillan. And you know, we
don't know that Chris Godwin's going to be the same.
Like last time we saw that dude, his foot was
dangling limply from the rest of his leg. You know,
(31:48):
that was a pretty substantial injury. And I think in
the case of like Buka, where I'm draft capital, Trump's
landing spot and I don't think it's a terrible landing spot.
Just the fact that he was a top twenty pick
when people weren't totally sure he was going to be
a first rounder, Like, I think that was a lot
of people felt validation for that, and I know I
(32:10):
kind of did it as a ranker, and I think
ericson Indiebro probably did as well.
Speaker 1 (32:15):
We can't hit every rookie receiver because it's just too
many of them. But the last one that I do
want to make sure I ask you about is Luther Burden,
because I think it was a surprise for a lot
of people to see me go to Chicago. They had
already drafted a pass catcher. I'll be at a tight
end in the first round. They of course already have
Roma Dunze and Dj Moore. There's a new head coaching town,
new play caller, and Ben Johnson. Burden to me, and
this is somebody who guys who were doing way too
(32:38):
early rookie drafts a year out as kind of just
a way of projecting the twenty twenty five class had
Burden in the top like three. Like this is somebody
who had a lot of hype coming into the season.
Speaker 3 (32:49):
We know the talent is there.
Speaker 1 (32:51):
It's a more specialized skill set, but really really talented.
Now goes to a very crowded room. Dj Moore maybe
on the way out. You know, there's a lot has
been made of like some of the clips of him
walking off the field during plays last year. How he
fits with Caleb Williams. We need to see Cale Williams
take a step forward to even feed this number of guys,
and of course, like I mentioned Ben Johnson of it
(33:13):
all being there too, who seems really excited about Burden,
like calling him a stud and that post draft press
conference and everything. So for you, what went into Burden?
Who is currently at wide receiver thirty seven. He's behind
guys like Golden Pickens, Tyreek Hill, He's ahead of guys
like Trey Harris, Jaden Higgins, DeVante Adams in the trade
value start well, went into that ranking for you?
Speaker 2 (33:34):
I understand the too many miles to feed narrative is
going to scare some people away from Luther Burden. I
totally get that. But the reason why I'm pretty excited
about him and why I actually have him ranked higher
then we have him on the trade chart where he
is wide receiver thirty seven, I've got him wide receiver
thirty four. A few things. First of all, if this
dude had been drafted after his sophomore year, he would
(33:57):
have been a top ten pick. You know, just like
the the monstrous breakout he had from the Zoo in
the SEC that far and away the toughest conference in
the country. You know, like it was a weird final
year for him. Brady Cook, the Missouri quarterback, played through
some injuries. Burden didn't play well. I mean I watched
(34:17):
a Texas A and M game where he had like
an eighty yard touchdown catch called back by a shaky penalty.
Just a lot of different things. But like he this
dude's got some talent. Like he is a freak with
the ball in his hands. Number two worm. I mean,
like he is the most ready made slot receiver the
(34:37):
Bears have on their roster right now. And oh, by
the way, Ben Johnson is coming from an offense where
he turned Amen Ross Saint Brown into like one of
the most valuable fantasy properties of anyone, you know, Just
like this immensely valuable player. And the fact that the
Bears went out and like paid high Day two draft
(34:58):
capital to get Luther, like this was a very specific
target for them. They wanted this guy, and so just
a lot of reasons to be excited about him, even
if you know there's probably not an outlook for one
hundred and twenty targets in year one.
Speaker 1 (35:15):
I did not get Burden in any of my rookie drafts,
and I wish I had. I didn't really have the
opportunity that. There was like one time where it was
between him and Igbuca and I was like, you know,
I gotta follow. I liked the player better and the
draft capital I went with to Agooka.
Speaker 3 (35:28):
I don't regret that.
Speaker 1 (35:29):
And then there was another one where it was I
need every position. The team is terrible. I didn't think
any of the six running backs for getting to me
at the top of the second round, and then r
J Harvey got there and I was like, well, I
gotta take RJ Harvey. That latest spot's too great. And
so I didn't end up with In the other leagues,
I didn't even really have a chance at Burden, But
I feel like that's one where I might feel some
(35:50):
real fomo about it.
Speaker 2 (35:51):
I'm a Green Bay Packers fan. I took him over
Matthew Golden in one rookie draft.
Speaker 1 (35:57):
I have him head of Golden. Golden to me is
out of Aguca Burden, and Golden Golden is the one
is the guy who might burn me most, but he
is of the guys going in that kind of consensus
top fifteen ish range in most rookie drafts. He's the
one I've been the most out on that like, would
I take him if he fell to me in like
the middle of the second sure, of course, but that
(36:17):
I have not really been pursuing at all and could
come back to by me. We'll see, But I like
Burden better, so I like that pick by you. Well's
look at the tight ends real quickly, and then we'll
dive into some of the questions that we're getting for
people in the chat, and if anybody wants to hop
up on the stages, we'll get you asking your question.
Speaker 3 (36:33):
Verbally as well.
Speaker 1 (36:34):
Obviously, this is very rookie focused episode because you know
we have these landing spots. Now, Colson Loveland does jump
ahead of Tyler Warren. I think that's I don't know
if that's like one consensus, but I think that is
like the majority consensus definitely agrees with that given the
landing spot. Obviously, Loveland is paired with Ben Johnson. We
saw what he did at Samuel Porta in your one.
(36:55):
He's paired with Kayla Williams, who has has some work
to do but is more proven certainly that Anthony Richardson.
Where Tyler Warren goes, and he just goes higher. He
goes a few spots ahead of him on actual draft days.
So I think you and I are definitely going to
be an agreement on Loveland ahead of Warren at this point.
Speaker 3 (37:11):
How wide of a gap do you see that? As?
Speaker 2 (37:13):
Though not a big one, we have it as a
one point value gap, and I think that's pretty close
to where I'd be. I'd maybe have it at two
or three points tops, And wouldn't the're four.
Speaker 1 (37:25):
And five in the rankings? Is that also where you
would have them with that gap?
Speaker 4 (37:28):
Is? Okay?
Speaker 2 (37:29):
I do have them at four and five myself, and
like it would not surprise me and all if Tyler
Warren did turn out to have the better career, but
Colston Loveland is two years younger and was drafted earlier.
Speaker 1 (37:41):
I would be really surprised to see Warren go ahead
of Loveland in a draft. It wouldn't my job wouldn't
be on the floor the way it would if like
gent didn't go first in a rookie draft or something.
But I would be surprised in any draft where it
played out that way. I just think there's too much
in Loveland's favor at this point, and I still like Warren.
(38:01):
I mean, we have them as a top five tight
end By the way, I've said this every time we've
done this, I still don't think the gap between Bowers
and everybody else is big enough. It's now Bowers's trade
values sixty nine and trade McBride is second at fifty eight,
Laporte is at fifty two, Loveland forty seven, Warren forty six.
Speaker 3 (38:19):
Just to give kind of a sense of the gap there.
I still don't think it's enough.
Speaker 2 (38:24):
You should probably do twenty five.
Speaker 1 (38:26):
Yeah, I really, I mean, like in a dynasty startup,
not even talking tight end premium, I mean I think
Bowers would go. And maybe I'm wrong, because we actually
have I've been so focused on rookies, and you and
I with Bogman are going to do some dynasty startup
stuff with listeners soon, some mocks, so that'll be really
fun to kind of see how it plays out. I
feel like even in not tight end premium, Bowers would
(38:49):
be set aside the quarterbacks, because like in super flex,
you know, people's mileers may have area on like how
willing they are to kind of wait at that position.
Set outside the quarterbacks. I don't think there's more than
six or seven names I would even remotely consider ahead
of Bowers like it's the elite elite receivers.
Speaker 3 (39:07):
And it's like genty.
Speaker 1 (39:09):
Although some people don't like taking a running back early
in those formats, Like I think Bowers is a steal
if you're getting him in like late second round in
a startup.
Speaker 3 (39:17):
I mean, where do you think he should be going.
Speaker 1 (39:19):
I'm not entirely sure what to expect when we start
kind of getting to those conversations.
Speaker 2 (39:23):
In a super Flex startup or do I think Power
should be going? Yeah, I have him in my overall
super Flex rankings, and I see that someone in the
chat just said he went fifth in a super Flex
startup non tight end premium. I have got him eighteenth overall.
Speaker 1 (39:41):
Mid second round, yeah, mid second I think anything late
second round is a steal. I think mid second round
is fair, and I think early second round is like justifiable.
In super Flex, I think I am not comfortable passing
a quarterback, so like he wouldn't be in If I'm
taking a guy who's not a quarterback in the first round,
it's going to be one of the big four let's
call it receivers of Chase, Jefferson, Lamb and neighbors. But
(40:04):
I I think you like I can see you making
the case for it and in tight end premium like
I don't know, take taking away forth like behind only
the three best quarterbacks.
Speaker 3 (40:15):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (40:16):
Anyways, I don't need people to People don't need me
to tell them brock Bars is good. I just always
laugh every time I see this. It's like the value
like like I've tried to get the gap even bigger
and it's never big enough. Dude, And I love Dray McBride, honestly,
I think the bride's a stud. But anything else in
the tight ends quickly? Any of the other rookies go
to landing spots that you thought warranted big moves?
Speaker 3 (40:36):
Obviously cool Comet.
Speaker 1 (40:37):
Drops a lot with Loveland going there, turns Ferguson gets
a nice landing spot with the Rams, you know, Harold Fannin,
you know behind in Djoko Now maybe long term a
good fit there. What do you think about some of
these other rookie landing spots quickly?
Speaker 2 (40:50):
Yeah, really good landing spot for Ferguson. We needed to
bump him up, so you know, I especially with the Rams,
I think they're going to use their tight ends, and
you know, he's a pretty athletic dude, And obviously we
had to really dock Cole Comet. With the arrival of
Coleston Loveland in Chicago, that kind of wiped out Comets
(41:11):
fantasy value. So yeah, that's about it. No huge movers
besides those guys.
Speaker 1 (41:18):

on the trade value chart section.
Speaker 3 (41:45):
Let's dive into some of these chats fits.
Speaker 1 (41:46):
We'll try to go a little quicker on them to
make sure we can get everybody. Then, of course we'll
bring some folks up on the stages. Let's burn through
some of these written down chats here quickly. Fits from Bunting,
how's it going, Bunting? He wants us to grade these trades.
First one, he's now stacked at rode receiver, still has Mayfield,
Williams and Stroud into one QB. Second one he loves
(42:06):
love sound. Okay, so let's look at this. First one
is uh, you receive the one oh four which is
Ted McMillan and a twenty twenty seven second, and you
send Brice Hall and Trevor Lawrence.
Speaker 3 (42:18):
What do you think about that one?
Speaker 2 (42:19):
That is one QB. I think that's one QB, right.
Speaker 3 (42:22):
I think that one is one QB.
Speaker 2 (42:25):
Yeah, Like, I mean, I just don't value quarterbacks very
highly in one QB and so obviously this has to
be one QB. It couldn't be super flex. Yeah, I
dig it, Like Trevor Lawrence very expendable. Any quarterback in
one QB pretty expendable unless it's the top guy like
you know, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Jayden Daniels and Brice Hall.
Speaker 3 (42:49):
I mean, I'm off of Breece Hall right now though.
Speaker 2 (42:51):
Yeah, they have said that like they want it to
be a committee, so like, I'm not. I still think
the long term outlook for Bruce Hall is pretty good,
but I'm a little worried about him for twenty twenty five, honestly,
So I like this move. I mean, I think that's
a really good asset.
Speaker 1 (43:08):
Next trade is receiving Nico Collins giving up Khalil Shakir
and Chris Olave.
Speaker 3 (43:13):
I love that one.
Speaker 2 (43:14):
I'll oh yeah right now, Yes, that's getting it is
getting the best guy in the deal, and who knows
if the lave is still in the league in two
years with his concussion issues. I mean, I like Chris
Olave a lot. I think he's really good, but man
like shakiir is. I like Shakier a lot too. I
just think he's got a pretty limited upside and it's
like mid range wide receiver three upside.
Speaker 1 (43:36):
Yeah, he's kind of to get a guy like that already,
to get a guy like Nico, you like that?
Speaker 2 (43:39):
Yeah? Right. I don't know if the other guy was
freaking out because the Texans added the tow Iowa State guys,
but like Nico is the alpha, there no question about it.
Speaker 1 (43:51):
Last one is receiving the two oh nine and the
two oh six, getting rid of the one ten, so
moving from the one ten going down eight spots, but
also picking up the two O nine with it. It
looks like he Bunting is saying that just trying to
load up on running backs in the second round because
all the first round running backs were kind of gone.
Speaker 2 (44:09):
You know, I get it. I mean you could maybe
get Toot in it, like two O six. Possibly. I
just I do worry that. I think there's kind of
a talent drop off after about sixteen or seventeen overall
in super flex, I'm not quite as high on this deal.
I think I'd rather have one ten than those two seconds.
Speaker 3 (44:31):
From needs more cow bell for a Kiren owner.
Speaker 1 (44:33):
Is it worth acquiring Korum for the two O five
lacking running back depth, don't think he'll get Skataboo there,
but likes the value at two of five. Thinking of
declining Korum, I don't think I would go for I
shouldn't say I don't think I would not go for
Korum with the two O five. I might give up
a later pick for him as a flyer. But the
fact that they went out and got Hunter, the fact
(44:56):
that Kyron like kind of shook off any attempts by
anybody elselast year to take over, like any of the workload.
I would just to get to a five and try
and get you know, maybe Skataboo, maybe two and something
like that.
Speaker 2 (45:10):
Totally agree with you. I just I don't know if
Korum right now is worth the two zero five considering
that Jarquez Hunter might be the RB two there, So yeah,
I I don't really like that deal either, cow Bell
and should we hit coy Bell's other question real quick?
Speaker 1 (45:29):
He says he's got two teams with Glaring he needs
at running back. Is it okay to pass on Hunter
or tet for tre Van Henderson or Quinn Shawn Judkins
the running backs for each team, one of them is
Chase Brown, Jalen Warren, Nick Chubb, Taiji Spears, so it's
basically Brown and maybe Warren and not really anything else.
And then team two is Kyrin, Kenneth Walker, Sharbon a
Isaiah Davis, and Damian Pierce.
Speaker 3 (45:48):
So so really no depth at either of those.
Speaker 1 (45:50):
And you know, one good starter for team one, and
you know two good starters is you know, assuming Walker
is healthy and you know everything this year.
Speaker 3 (45:57):
Diver really likes Walker this year, By the way, I
think it'd be reasonable.
Speaker 1 (46:02):
I'd be more on board with maybe passing on Hunter
given kind of what I said before about my nervousness
surrounding him. Tet I think is really good. I'm also
a little lower than on quin Shan than everybody else.
I was a little worried about some of the tackle
breaking stuff with him in college, and I don't know
that the Browns landing spot is as amazing as the
(46:24):
initial reaction was. I just really worry about that offensive
quarterback isn't really resolved, Like you're basically going to be
getting the Nick Chubb treatment in terms of facing stacked boxes.
And if you're not as good as Nick Chubb, which
I like Quinchon enough, but I don't think he's as
good as Nick Chubb, then that kind of worries me.
So for me, if you're passing one of the receivers,
it's for Travion, But I think I would probably still
(46:47):
take Tet team one. I'd be more likely to just
take the running back because the need I think is
greater there.
Speaker 3 (46:51):
What do you think fits?
Speaker 2 (46:52):
Yeah, I mean I'm on board, Like, I'm okay with
taking Trey Henderson over either of the wide receivers. I
don't think I think I would take Quinn Shawn over
Tet like I just couldn't do it. But in my
home league. The reason I had Tet and Hunter available
to me was because the one O three took Traveon
Henderson and had Hunter been gone or excuse me, had
(47:17):
Tet been gone, and if I'd been faced with the
choice of Traveon Henderson or Travis Hunter, I would have
taken Traveon Henderson. So I don't hate it if you
feel like you need running back more than wide receiver.
I think Trey is going to be pretty special.
Speaker 1 (47:33):
Kay Lest says Damn Worm. I think that's when I
called you a grandpa.
Speaker 3 (47:37):
Stink.
Speaker 1 (47:38):
Stink says he had the one O four and one
O six, He traded the one oh four and then
got R. J. Harvey at one oh six. What do
we think his touch PERCENTE will be in that running
back group. He also says he's glad to be live
with his dog's pat and were Melo Anthony, I love THEE.
Speaker 3 (47:53):
It's a great name. What do you think about that move, though, Fitz?
Speaker 2 (47:57):
Yeah, I mean I do think there's still possibility Julia
McLoughlin and otterch Estimay are involved. I don't think the
touch share for any back exceeds fifty percent in Denver.
This year. But I do think that r. J. Harvey
is the favorite to have the most touches in the
Denver backfield. And this is like Sean Payton's running backs
(48:19):
are valuable because they catch a lot of passes. They're
always among the leaders in running back targets, and that
happens to be part of RJ. Harvey's skill set. He's
a good pick pass catcher. So I like the move
Harvey and one oh six is totally justifiable. I like it.
Speaker 1 (48:35):
Would you trade this isn't a super flex Marvin Harrison
Junior the one oh five and Stafford for Justin Herbert,
the one oh six and the two ten. So the
one o five the one oh six is like mostly negligible.
I think we think there might be a small tier
break there depending on the order of guys, but obviously
that's only one pick apart, so it's largely Marvin Harrison
Junior and Stafford for Herbert and the two ten. I
(48:58):
think I'd rather have the Marv side and the one
pick higher. But in a super flex, I do really
like Herbert.
Speaker 3 (49:04):
What do you think about that?
Speaker 2 (49:06):
It's close. It's a pretty well balanced deal, I would say,
and just looking at real Ben Money's roster. He's got
Jayden Daniels and then like Matthew Stafford is a second quarterback,
so I can understand why he wants to like nail
that down a little bit. And he would have one
of the best young QB stables in the league. So
(49:28):
there's definitely an opportunity cost to this deal giving up
Marvin Harrison, who you know, like, I think there's a
lot more than what he showed us in his rookie year,
and you know, and Matthew Stafford might have who knows,
maybe two good years left. But I'm okay with it.
(49:49):
I actually like the idea of having that super combo
at QB with Jade Daniels. Adjustment Herbert, I want.
Speaker 1 (49:57):
To make sure we have time to bring up some
folks on stages, So let's go. Let's go speed round
through the chat questions and then we'll start bringing folks
up and give them their time up on the air.
Speaker 3 (50:05):
So speed round here. Do we like Jayden Blue or
Jordan James Moore?
Speaker 2 (50:09):
I've got Jayden Blue ranked higher because of the opportunity.
Speaker 3 (50:14):
I do too, but I do really like James.
Speaker 1 (50:15):
A question from Hammi takes one QB League debating whether
if I should move Rome for AJ Brown he is
a contender.
Speaker 2 (50:23):
I mean, I've got AJ Brown ranked higher for just
Dynasty value in general, and if you're a contender, yeah,
I kind of think that's the move to make.
Speaker 1 (50:34):
As a contender, What late round rookie draft running back
are you targeting.
Speaker 2 (50:41):
As a contender?
Speaker 1 (50:42):
I mean, and I guess, like, how much does being
a contender change that equation for you? Are there guys
that you like better as win now versus you know?
Speaker 2 (50:52):
I mean, if I was a contender, and let's say
I had Jonathan Taylor, I might be motivated to get
DJ Giddens just for the handcuff I was a contender.
I don't really worry about handcuffing in Dynasty if I'm
not a contender, I don't even care about it that
much honestly, as a contender, but that might sway me.
Like if I had, you know, a top running back
(51:13):
and could get like a young backup to him, that
might sway me a little bit. That's kind of the
only thing that would really push me one way or
the other.
Speaker 1 (51:22):
Which wide receivers are in the range or with draft
picks for trading away Derrick Henry, Who would you be
looking for in return?
Speaker 2 (51:28):
All right? I mean, just looking at our trade value chart,
the Fantasy Pros Dynasty trade value chart, which you can
always call up as a tool, We've got a value
of forty eight for Derrick Henry. Commensurate wide receivers are
Jayden waddle is forty eight, DJ Morris forty eight, Ricky
Piersoll's forty seven. If you want to go younger and
then then just abolve our like Rashid Rice and Jordan
(51:51):
Addison at fifty two, Jerry Judy Tat McMillan, Chris Olave
forty six.
Speaker 1 (51:58):
What do you think about We talked a bit about
the Bears already, but do you think that Rome or
DJ Moore will be more likely to maybe lose out
on some targets after the additions of Burden and Loveland.
Speaker 2 (52:10):
Man, it's just hard to see it being a good
thing for Rome in twenty twenty five unless they were
to move DJ Moore. But I don't think they're going to,
so yeah, it's just I think it further delays Rome's
true arrival.
Speaker 3 (52:26):
Why do we like Luther over Trey Harris?
Speaker 2 (52:31):
I don't know. I mean, I just think Luther is
a better prospect. You know, I Deebro loves Trey Harris
so and Debro doesn't like Luther Burden a lot. So
if you asked him, he would say, there is no
good reason, but I think Luther Burden is better than
Trey Harris. Very different receivers. Trey Harris is big and physical.
Luther Burden is just like, you know, a maniac with
(52:53):
the ball in his hands. So we'll see. It's going
to be interesting to see how those guys wind up
comparing in terms of fantasy value. But they are very
different players.
Speaker 1 (53:03):
Can Some of the other comments are just about Bowers.
I still can't believe he went one oh five and
a nine. I didn't premium super flex startup.
Speaker 3 (53:09):
That is crazy. But I love the boldness.
Speaker 1 (53:12):
Rate this trade t Higgins, George Pickens and the one
O nine for Jamar Chase.
Speaker 2 (53:19):
Oh yeah, I like Jamar Chase and that Yeah agreed.
Speaker 1 (53:23):
Let's see, looking at acquiring Marvin Harrison Junior off the
block with draft capital, how much would be worth giving
up for him two five, three oh five two picks.
Speaker 3 (53:29):
In each round twenty six?
Speaker 1 (53:31):
It's one qbpp you are how much will you and
I actually talked a bit about get, you know, making
a trade for Marvin Harrison junior. He was on the
block in one of my leagues. What do you think
is a reasonable offer to make for him?
Speaker 2 (53:40):
Man, for Marvin Harrison, I think you would have to,
like I don't know if there might not be an
off in the arsenal with that little draft capital this year,
like the two O five and the the mid second.
Is this one QB thirty one seventeen forty eight. Yeah,
like both of those picks this year plus one of
(54:06):
the first next year. I mean that's your starting offer,
and I wouldn't be surprised if you've got to know
on that. Maybe if you sent both of the twenty
twenty six first, that would probably do it. That might
be too much, you know, it might be some sort
of happy medium, but I think you'd have to give
up two five three h five one of the twenty
twenty six first and maybe something on top of that.
Speaker 1 (54:28):
Let's start bringing up some of these folks who have
their hands raised. I know we're almost at the top
of the hour. I promise if your hand is raised,
we will bring you up. Will stay a little bit
longer to make sure, we get you guys at your
tur and let's start with ce Turry.
Speaker 5 (54:41):
Hey, guys, how you doing good?
Speaker 3 (54:43):
How are you not bad?
Speaker 2 (54:45):
Not bad? Uh?
Speaker 5 (54:46):
Finished my Big Dynasty drafts. So I want to do
a and made a pretty uh substantial trades.
Speaker 6 (54:52):
I just wanted to see you guys thought of it.
Speaker 3 (54:53):
Sure, throw it at us.
Speaker 4 (54:55):
No.
Speaker 5 (54:55):
I had a bunch of picks. At one oh two,
I went Kim Ward. At one six, I went Trevion
Henderson one seven, Quinshawn Judkins one nine at Mecha Buca
two two Loveland. I skipped one ten, one ten, Caleb
Johnson two to two Loveland, two ten, Twoton, three nine
Kyle Williams, and four to Isaac Tesla. And then after
(55:15):
the draft, I traded quinshn, Kyle Williams and a twenty
twenty seven second for Travis Hunter.
Speaker 2 (55:22):
So I was wondering what you guys saw of the trade.
Speaker 5 (55:25):
And then I threw my team in the chat and
I wanted to see if you, I know, it's like
not obviously like the best contender, or you said, if
you thought like, oh, maybe like a you know, outside
chance of competing for you know, maybe second or third
place this year.
Speaker 3 (55:40):
Yeah, Fitz, What do you think about that trade?
Speaker 2 (55:41):
First and foremost, I don't mind it, Like I I
think it was reasonable. You know, I kind of laid
out my issues with Travis Hunter, like there's a bit
of a range of outcomes. Like the the high end
outcome as he turns into like a top ten dynasty
wide receiver, totally plausible that that happens. The bad range
(56:03):
is that like he gets shifted to more defense or
like the playing two way things really kind of like
caps his value offensively just because he's losing snaps because
he's playing defense. So I'm good with it. I mean
there's a risk element to it. I think you're taking
a bit of a risk for it, but the potential
(56:23):
payoff is really lucrative. Otherwise, I really like your draft,
see Tury. I mean, like getting too in that late
was awesome, Like that that was the steal.
Speaker 5 (56:33):
Yeah, him and Kyle Williams. You know, I think we
did our draft like the Monday after the NFL Draft,
So I think I benefited of the sleeper ADP being
a little behind because where I got him and Kyle
Williams was a little ridiculous, but it worked out for me.
Speaker 1 (56:48):
I love everybody in the chat pointing out that you
basically just had all the picks in this draft.
Speaker 2 (56:52):
No kidding, and like Cam Warrett is his third quarterback,
he's got Mahomes and Drake May Just like with all
those picks, clearly you did not have a lot of
roster depth going into this draft, and now you've got
some pretty solid depth and a pretty nice starting lineup.
So like, I don't know if you're going to contend
this year, but like I think your ETA for sure
(57:14):
is twenty twenty six.
Speaker 5 (57:16):
Yeah, I'm pretty happy with how it went. You know,
that Travis Hunter trade. I felt like I had to
pick up a wide receiver because you know, just the
way it fell. I got a lot of running backs,
none of the wide receivers really fell to me, and
I was really only had Addison and McMillan, so Jyle
McMillan and then obviously drafted a Google, but I was like,
(57:36):
I kind of need another stud wide receiver in here.
Speaker 2 (57:40):
Yeah, man, I know, I did it. It was fun,
nice haul.
Speaker 3 (57:43):
Yes, yeah, all right, thanks for hopping on c toy.
Speaker 6 (57:45):
Thanks guys.
Speaker 3 (57:47):
All right, let's bring up herbs and cheese.
Speaker 6 (57:50):
Hey, guys, how you doing We're good.
Speaker 3 (57:53):
How are you doing?
Speaker 6 (57:54):
Not too bad?
Speaker 7 (57:55):
I've got a question kind of about roster building. I
don't know if either of you guys have ever played
in our leagues moving to a quarter point per carry
on top of the normal PPR scoring wise, So I'm
kind of stuck in between trying to hoover up more
running backs for like my last flex spots or Bill
(58:17):
being wide receiver heavy in some of those. So this
offseason I traded for Jonathan Taylor, thinking the point quarter
point per carry might be more valuable to have some
of those workhorse type guys, so trade away Kittle and
Godwin to get him. So, I don't know if either
of you have familiarity with that formatter kind of lean
towards going towards work course running backs are more receivers
(58:41):
kind of as the last flex spots.
Speaker 2 (58:44):
Well, I mean I played in scott Fish Bowls, you know,
like that's a big industry charity league where Scott Fish
always had some interesting scoring systems and there have been
point per carry years in there. It definitely moves the
needle if you can still get points for running backs
catching passes. So yeah, I'm like, I mean, I think
(59:05):
it does invite you to prioritize running back, and that's
kind of the right move. So yeah, like it definitely
matters and gives a huge value bomb to running backs
even with just a quarter per point extra.
Speaker 1 (59:20):
I was in a dynasty startup just last summer where
we did a half point per carry for anybody, and
I undervalued the degree to which that would change running
back valuations. And like most weeks, like the running backs
who are really having their big weeks were just blowing
(59:40):
everybody else.
Speaker 3 (59:40):
Out of the water.
Speaker 1 (59:41):
Yeah, quarter isn't quite as strong as that, but I
do think it is definitely like excuse in that direction,
and I would kind of agree with your approach of
I want to be starting running backs in flex if
it's if it makes.
Speaker 6 (59:54):
Sense, okay, cool.
Speaker 7 (59:56):
Yeah, So I've got guys like Jonathan Taylor, can Walker
mix in Face Brown, So that's two people, so two
of those will be filling a flex spot and two starting.
So I wasn't sure whether to try to trade one
of those guys in a package to really update great receiver.
Kind of stick with those guys and then I've got
(01:00:16):
some good receivers so I should have a good team.
But was just trying to figure out how to prioritize
the team build for really content, So sounds like I'll
try to stick it out with those guys. One other
question on a possible trade that I kind of went
back and forth whether I would be willing to offer
it or not.
Speaker 6 (01:00:34):
But if I could trade Ken Walker and A. J.
Speaker 7 (01:00:37):
Brown to get McCaffrey and Grindo and CD Lamb, would
that be something that would be interested in getting the
handcuffed to McCaffrey kind of giving up a little bit.
Speaker 6 (01:00:48):
Of that, or would are y'all just out on McCaffrey.
Speaker 2 (01:00:53):
Well, I'm so in on CD Lamb. I mean I
think I actually like that deal. What do you think? Worm?
Speaker 3 (01:01:01):
Yeah, I would like that move more.
Speaker 1 (01:01:04):
I'm with fits more for the Lamb part than anything else, honestly,
Like like, would I give up Walker and Brown alone
for Lamb? Like, probably not, but to get Lamb as
like a centerpiece and then you're also like, you know,
buying in, like possibly buying low on McCaffrey and getting
the handcuff with him.
Speaker 3 (01:01:21):
I would like that move quite a bit.
Speaker 2 (01:01:23):
Yeah, And I would like I'd warned that. I don't
know if you've necessarily closed the back door with Grindo
just because like it could be Jordan James. I think
Jordan James was sort of a more polished NFL prospect
than Grenda was, although Grendo did look really impressive when
he got to play last year. But I mean it
does help when you're getting McCaffrey and you know to
(01:01:45):
have at least one foot in the door as far
as injury insurance. So but yeah, getting Lamb and you know,
AJ Brown's great too, but he's also the top wide
receiver on the run heaviest team in the league. So
I'm on board with that one. Herbs and cheese, Would you.
Speaker 7 (01:02:03):
Guys toss like kind of draft capital? Would y'all be
willing to give up to get that done? If he's
not just straight up for that offer, like a second
or more, just like a third kind of toss in range?
Speaker 6 (01:02:15):
Do you think would be fair value?
Speaker 2 (01:02:17):
Are you a contender this year?
Speaker 6 (01:02:19):
I'm a contender. Yeah, I think I have the best
roster in the league. Just look at on paper.
Speaker 2 (01:02:23):
Yeah, I would do a second, then then a second
since it's probably going to be a late one. Okay, awesome,
thanks guys, Thanks you batman.
Speaker 3 (01:02:33):
All right, we'll go to Hammy takes here. We'll try
to go quickly on these. Everybody, how's it going, guys, good?
How's it gone?
Speaker 2 (01:02:43):
I'm doing great.
Speaker 8 (01:02:44):
So just regarding to that roster that I send in
the chat, I did send the trade out to send
Rome for aj Brown. If that does not get done,
what other wide receiver targets are.
Speaker 6 (01:02:56):
You looking like?
Speaker 8 (01:02:58):
Obviously I'm going first a young guy like would Rashie
rise work or Garrett Wilson, because I don't know if
Rome could do it this year, I may have to
wait another year. And I'm like right now in prime
position position to contend. So just kind of getting some recommendations.
Speaker 3 (01:03:15):
I am higher than consensus on Garrett Wilson.
Speaker 1 (01:03:18):
I really like the idea of going after him after
there was so much hype last year and like it
wasn't I mean the Jets were a disaster, it wasn't
a total disaster for him. He's now paired with his
college quarterback. Like I know there are problems with justin fields,
but I I there's not a ton of target competition.
There's it's a guy played with before. I am really
(01:03:39):
in on Garrett Wilson as a great if you can,
you know, sort of buy low on him.
Speaker 3 (01:03:43):
I would do that.
Speaker 2 (01:03:45):
I totally agree with that. Yeah, I mean, if you're
trying to cash in Rome for immediate production, Like I'm
looking at guys I have ranked higher than him for Dynasty,
and most of them tend to tend to be like
young stars, and I don't think anyone is going up
like you know, for instance, Nico Collins or uh, yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:04:05):
Which I have you?
Speaker 2 (01:04:07):
Okay? Nice? Yeah, I mean, and then looking at guys
who I have value just below Rome for immediate it's possible,
Like I don't know if anyone really fits the bills
A Flowers, you know, who's also young and good, uh
Jalen Watt, Like yeah, it's kind of tricky. I mean,
(01:04:28):
it's it's worth trying for Garrett Wilson, but it might
be hard to do a one for one receiver deal
Guys with value commensurate to Romo Dunes who are like
more in the here and now, whereas Rome is probably
gonna have his best years a couple of years down
the road.
Speaker 6 (01:04:45):
I got you.
Speaker 8 (01:04:45):
And then for draft capital wise, like if it's like
either Gart, if it's Garrett Wilson, are you touching Like
a second or are you going for a first?
Speaker 1 (01:04:55):
Like?
Speaker 3 (01:04:55):
Which way are you going?
Speaker 2 (01:04:56):
Picks wise? I think too, Like if you were getting
Garrett Wilson in exchange for Romo, doonsay? I mean, I
don't think you should have to throw in much like
maybe a third next year. I wouldn't want to throw
in any more than that.
Speaker 1 (01:05:10):
I definitely would not throw in a first. I might
be willing to consider a second if it gets it done,
but I like, I wouldn't want to.
Speaker 3 (01:05:18):
I would try really hard to avoid that.
Speaker 1 (01:05:20):
I might do it to get over the top because
I'm that much of a believer Garrett Wilson.
Speaker 3 (01:05:24):
I definitely would not do it first.
Speaker 1 (01:05:25):
I think that I think you're no longer buying low
at that point, you're just buying And I wouldn't do that.
Speaker 2 (01:05:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (01:05:31):
And then one last thing regarding with this roster, I
have TJ. Hawkinson, David Nijoku. I did draft Elijah Royo,
and I'm kind of hoping for a stashnary that maybe
Arroyo breaks out. There is a man and I know,
like right now it's not the time to be buying
running backs, but there is a manager that's got Kenneth
(01:05:51):
Walker on the trade block, and I'm looking through his
team needs or his roster, and he's got a tight
end rim of Kate At and Mike Kasicki, Dalton Kinkaid.
And this is a Titan Premium league. So are you
trying to package a deal to send Nijoku to get
(01:06:11):
Kenneth Walker? And if so, like what draft capital would
you expect that I have to attach on my on
my end in order to secure Kenneth Walker. I have
Ashton Gentis Marbi one and so maybe an RB upgrade.
But just to kind of give this scenario, what would
you attach to Najoku?
Speaker 2 (01:06:31):
Maybe another I try a third, I try another third
like it. I don't think I could do a second,
just because, like I mean, man like Walker could be
great because they've got that Commina, the Kubiak Dennison combination
going to Seattle, like they're wherever those guys go, Like
(01:06:54):
their team runs the ball effectively. I just don't know if,
like you know, they also have Zach Scharbona, and they
drafted Damien Martinez even though it was a really late
draft pick, and both of those guys are pretty good too.
I'm just like not one hundred percent sure that Kenneth
Walker is like the man there. That's the only thing
(01:07:16):
that would hold me back. But I think najok Wun
a third in a tight end premium league for Walker
perfectly fair offer.
Speaker 1 (01:07:23):
I would offer the third. I would say yes to
a second on this. I think it might be higher
than fits on Walker for this year. I also and
this is maybe just me and like my experience, but
I feel like every year I'm like so desperate to
get more second round picks because there's so many guys
that like I can make the case for and that
I get really excited about. And then every year that
guy turns into like Terris Marshall junior, and like, I
(01:07:45):
just like it doesn't actually fan out the way I
kind of hope it will. So I am like first
round picks, I'm very reticent to move or second rounders
if I am like a rebuilder and expecting to be
picking pretty high. If I think I'm picking more in
the back half of the second round, I'm very will
Like I'm not just throwing away willy nilly, but if
it gets, if it gets a player that I really
(01:08:05):
believe in, I am I am very willing to move
those just historically what they end up being worth. But
that but that's kind of more like my philosophical approach,
not to say like fits is wrong or anything.
Speaker 2 (01:08:17):
Gotcha.
Speaker 8 (01:08:18):
Okay, well that's all I have for this roster, sell.
I appreciate you guys, Thank you so much on.
Speaker 3 (01:08:24):
Thanks Amy, and we are I know we're going late everybody.
I apologize to that.
Speaker 1 (01:08:28):
I like I said, we will get to the hands
that are raised here, so we'll try to go quickly
through these. But thanks everybody for sticking around and being
patient with us. We've got stun on.
Speaker 3 (01:08:37):
Yeah, what's up, guys? Oh much, thanks for hopping on.
Speaker 9 (01:08:42):
Alrighty, So I am trying to secure AJ Brown just
I know he's an older wide receiver, but he has
the potential to hit hit top five. And so what
do you guys think about offering Hollywood Brown a twenty
twenty six first, a twenty twenty six second to get
AJ Brown and a twenty twenty seven first, Because I
(01:09:03):
know the twenty twenty seven draft class is looking pretty
good having Ryan Williams and Jeremiah Smith.
Speaker 2 (01:09:11):
I don't think you're in the ballpark.
Speaker 3 (01:09:13):
Honestly, you would be getting Brown and the twenty seven first.
He said, right, yes, yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (01:09:19):
Mean if you could do that, then that's like a
definite yes for me. But I would guess that's not
enough unless the other owner like is really trying to
get out of AJ Brown for some reason, like if
they're aware of kind of that twenty seven class.
Speaker 3 (01:09:32):
I don't think that gets it done.
Speaker 2 (01:09:34):
I was just gonna say, I don't think you're in
the ballpark, honestly, because right now, like I would rather
have a twenty twenty seven first than a twenty twenty
six first. I know that sounds counterintuitive, but like I
want Jeremiah Smith and Ryan Williams lottery tickets. Those guys
are our special prospects, and I don't know if they're
like right now no one in the twenty twenty six
(01:09:55):
draft class, Like we can say for sure as a
special prospect, we know they're gonna be a lead two
of them in twenty twenty seven. So and then like
the fact that you're also getting like a really good
player right now in AJ Brown, and like, yeah, that
just like a couple of picks in twenty twenty six
would not do it for me.
Speaker 9 (01:10:13):
So would you consider swapping Hollywood Brown for Roma Dunza,
So offering the twenty twenty six first, twenty twenty six
second and Roma Dunza in order to get that twenty
twenty seven first in aj Brown.
Speaker 2 (01:10:27):
Oh, so odoonsa to the two twenty twenty six sixth.
Speaker 3 (01:10:33):
Yeah, yeah, I mean I would. I would.
Speaker 2 (01:10:35):
Yeah. Oh.
Speaker 1 (01:10:36):
I don't know if it like definitely gets to dine,
but like I would definitely be willing.
Speaker 2 (01:10:39):
To do that. Yeah, I mean, and it's a more
fair offer. And I like the side for you, for sure.
I think that's a more reasonable offer to take to
him the other person, for sure.
Speaker 9 (01:10:50):
Alrighty, thank you.
Speaker 2 (01:10:52):
You bet.
Speaker 3 (01:10:52):
Thanks wrapping on.
Speaker 1 (01:10:54):
All right, we've got three more left here. Let's bring
on hokey. I assume to talk about bachel too.
Speaker 3 (01:11:00):
Hey you guys, how going hooky?
Speaker 10 (01:11:03):
Yeah, I'm actually gonna talk about Mettalica first. Okay, you
see on uh on social media. I'm gonna chirple a little.
Speaker 11 (01:11:11):
I was there. It was awesome.
Speaker 2 (01:11:13):
Nice.
Speaker 10 (01:11:14):
A couple of things real quick. I've got a couple
of trades. I can't seem to get any of any
of the other owners of trade with me. We've got
other owners. That's that they're fleecing people left and right,
and I want to throw these out to you and
see if I'm see if I'm not being realistic.
Speaker 11 (01:11:26):
So I've got Jordan Mason.
Speaker 10 (01:11:27):
I'm trying to deal into the Aaron Jones owner and
looking at the trade value charts, I settled on the
owner has the two O eight, which from the trade
value chart seems fair. What are you what are your
thoughts on that? Is that it's the two o eight
asking too much for Mason for the Aaron Jones owner.
Speaker 2 (01:11:44):
Two O eight and this year's yeah craft, no super flex,
no one QB one QB.
Speaker 3 (01:11:54):
Yeah, Like, I mean, I don't think that's asking too much.
Speaker 10 (01:11:57):
Didn't feel like it was looking at the uh looking
at the trade back charge, but uh, he hasn't even reponded.
It's been out there for like two weeks, so he
could just be he's not paying attention.
Speaker 3 (01:12:05):
I think that's that's reasonable for sure.
Speaker 2 (01:12:09):
It's like it's not an it's not an unfair offer.
I think ultimately push came to shove. I think I'd
rather have the two O eight, But I don't think
it's like insulting or anything. It's not an offer. I
would just sit there and ignore.
Speaker 10 (01:12:21):
So I was targeting him because he because he because
because he owned Jones. I mean, is the three eight
am I should I hold on the Mason threeh eight
too low?
Speaker 2 (01:12:33):
I think it is too long.
Speaker 3 (01:12:34):
I wouldn't. I wouldn't do it for the three o eight.
Speaker 11 (01:12:37):
Okay, all right, fair enough. I'm also trying to deal Donald.
Speaker 10 (01:12:40):
I've got Nix, Richardson and Prescott, so I need to
get rid of at least one quarterback.
Speaker 11 (01:12:45):
And I'm we have an owner. He gives where one QB.
Speaker 10 (01:12:47):
But he's only got Adam Pallin and that's it. Uh
So I offered him Donald for a second round pick.
He rejected it. He came back and offered me a sixth,
and I'm like, I'll just I'll just drop him to
the way wire for that. So then I went back
and said, okay, how about a third this year and
third next year, which, again based on the trade value chart,
looks fair. What are your thoughts asking that for Donald
(01:13:10):
for a guy in a one QB league? That crazy?
Speaker 2 (01:13:14):
Honestly, I wouldn't even I don't think i'd give you
a third for him in a one QB league. Yeah,
it's it's just the economy of one QB dynasty, Hoky,
those guys just the quarterbacks who are not needle movers,
like really like top ten quarterbacks. There's just not a
lot of value there in one QB. So I'd like,
(01:13:35):
I mean, if you, if you could get a fourth,
I would be happy with that, like a single a
single fourth.
Speaker 1 (01:13:41):
I mean I would say, like, like maybe maybe offer
one third just to see. But I wouldn't be shocked
if he says no to it. But I don't think
it's an insulting offer since he doesn't have another quarterback.
Speaker 3 (01:13:53):
But I would be prepared for the rejection.
Speaker 11 (01:13:56):
Yeah, and uh, if he rejects my baby, I'll go.
I'll go with the fourth.
Speaker 10 (01:14:00):
I mean, I'm probably gonna end up when we do
our cut down with one of the draft, I'm gona
end updropping him anyway, So probably most likely, so if
I can get anything for him, all right, to more
real quick, I know you guys are trying to wrap
up back to what you're expecting.
Speaker 4 (01:14:12):
Worm toot.
Speaker 11 (01:14:13):
I've got I've got the number.
Speaker 10 (01:14:15):
I've got the number five pick, and I'm hoping to
have a shot to land him at two O five
and the one QB reasonable ants.
Speaker 1 (01:14:24):
So in my rookie drafts like that. Has he has
been available there, I think in all but one. But
all it takes is one person to say, like, you know, oh,
I'm picking right before a Hoky fan and need to
try and go get a.
Speaker 10 (01:14:40):
And unfortunately that the owner in my league who managed
to police everyone just traded for the pick right before
me in the second round.
Speaker 11 (01:14:47):
So for as anybody that will do it, he will.
But anyway, final question. You guys are talking.
Speaker 10 (01:14:54):
About Rgie Harvey earlier, and I'm kind of kind of
high on him because a lot of the reasons you
guys talked about. But I know the split risk at
the one oh five, I mean, I'm trying to target
running back.
Speaker 11 (01:15:04):
Would it make any sense?
Speaker 10 (01:15:05):
Would I'd be nusts and maybe try to trade down
till later in the first and maybe get Harvey.
Speaker 11 (01:15:10):
Man, I'm thinking at the five, I've probably got.
Speaker 10 (01:15:12):
A good shot to get hendersoner Dunkins or maybe even
tent Fall to me, depending on how it goes, is
it worth passing all one of those guys you might
pick up one of the draft pick later.
Speaker 3 (01:15:22):
Yeah, I think it depends on what the other pick is.
Speaker 1 (01:15:23):
I mean, I would obviously like have Harvey ranks behind
those options that will be available at five. But I
don't know that the gap is that wide, Like I
know debro here at Fantasy pros is like Colt could
over the moon about RJ. Harvey and would be all
over something like that. I'm curious fits what you think.
But yeah, I mean I think if you're getting a
good enough piece on top of that, I am not
(01:15:44):
opposed to that at all.
Speaker 2 (01:15:46):
Yeah, I mean.
Speaker 3 (01:15:48):
It's got to be a good piece. I wouldn't do
it for like just any old throw in.
Speaker 2 (01:15:52):
Right, that's kind of it. Like I'm trying to think
of how far you would want to go down without
running the risk having him slip through your fingers. Yeah,
like I wouldn't want to go gosh, like even at eight,
I don't know if he lasts to one O eight
that that's the hard part.
Speaker 10 (01:16:12):
So really, I'm probably not gonna I'm probably not gonna
be getting.
Speaker 11 (01:16:15):
A lot only moving down three spots anyway. I think
I'll probably just sit tight and see what falls to me.
And I mean, I need I need running back.
Speaker 10 (01:16:22):
But at this point, after listening to some of the
discussion on here, I think I'm going best player available. Yeah,
and if I end up getting tent, maybe I can
maybe I can deal link with the running back I want.
Speaker 2 (01:16:31):
So yeah, yeah, I mean that makes sense to me.
Speaker 11 (01:16:35):
Yeah, I gots I appreciate it. Let's get let's get on.
Speaker 3 (01:16:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:16:38):
Thanks, O.
Speaker 3 (01:16:40):
All right, we've got two left. Then we'll get out
of here. Here's awesome.
Speaker 11 (01:16:44):
Dev Oh you guys, can you hear me?
Speaker 3 (01:16:47):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (01:16:48):
What's up? Okay?
Speaker 4 (01:16:49):
Awesome. Well, I just got invited to my first Dynasty
league and they started drafting right away, so I was
in massive research mode. It's a super flex league, so
I'm familiar with those I posted a quick screenshot of
my team. I think I'm a contender. Yeah, I have
(01:17:10):
Lamar and Stevenson, I'm not too happy about. I've got
Derrek Henry, Jamar, Chase Neighbors, Brian Thomas, Mark Andrews, and
Kenneth Walker, David Montgomery and Jason Herbert as my starting lineup.
The bench is a little weaker. I got caller Williams,
Bryce Young and then a bunch of guys. So you
(01:17:32):
can look at the screenshot. What I'm wondering is this.
So for my draft so far, I drafted Trevion Henderson
and Trey Harris. I'm drafting ninth out of a ten
man league, and I'm wondering, just based on my team strength,
should I be focusing on another running back, another wide receiver.
(01:17:55):
And there is a possibility to trade for Chase Brown,
and I'm trying to see if I can make that happened.
I'm a little all over the place. This is my
first go around with this, and so I forgive me
if I'm a little fuzzy here. No.
Speaker 1 (01:18:09):
Well, first of all, everybody's first dynasty has to come,
you know, at some point.
Speaker 2 (01:18:12):
It's all.
Speaker 3 (01:18:13):
Everybody had their first some point.
Speaker 1 (01:18:14):
It's second of all, congrats on stepping into the world
of dynasty. I think you'll love it. I I quite
quite enjoyed dynasty. So it's super fun to be kind
of in your first one. And it's fun to get
to learn the ropes. Honestly, while you're doing it for
the first time.
Speaker 4 (01:18:27):
It's ready at times.
Speaker 2 (01:18:29):
Yeah, it really is, isn't it. Worm. This team is
right up your alley. I mean, he's got Lamar Jackson,
Derrick Henry, Mark Andrews, and then oh, by the way,
Jamar Chase Malik, Neighbors, Brian Thomas Kenneth Walker, like Justin
Herbert is his second QB. This team is absolutely a contender. Yeah,
I mean, like he's got Caleb. You don't really need
(01:18:52):
to hit quarterback at all. I'm you said I was.
Speaker 4 (01:18:56):
Looking at Quinn Edwards, so I can I can ignore
him's draft.
Speaker 2 (01:18:59):
Yeah, yeah, don't don't bother with there are no no
late round quarterbacks worth it. You know your your wide
receivers are so good. You said you got Henderson and
Trey Harris. You've also got McMillan Pittman, so like plenty
of depth here.
Speaker 1 (01:19:14):
What I would with is just I would just take
some swings at running back because like Henry is obviously older,
so like you're pretty much already contender now, I would
say so, like I would start thinking about just it's
nice to have some youth kind of in the pipeline,
Like I know some of the guys you listed in
the chat, like Tutin' Hunter, Like I'd be all over
(01:19:34):
it if one of those guys is available, you know, Ferguson,
I would maybe be interested into just you know, Andrews.
You never know when it goes for the older tight ends.
Speaker 4 (01:19:42):
But so the scoring in this League. From my understanding,
as again, I'm still catching up, it seems to skew
a little heavier towards the wide receivers, so I wonder
if that should it Just mefresh, I have been hearing
some like Tutin might be a good dart throw, so
I'm a little excited on him. You know, two days ago,
I didn't know he existed, So what do I know.
Speaker 3 (01:20:04):
I do like Tuton a lot.
Speaker 2 (01:20:06):
Yes, I would kim if you could get him for
sure like he is. I mean, I think he's worthy
of a second round pick for sure. And the strength
of this rookie draft classes at running back, and you
are not under the gun at any other position.
Speaker 1 (01:20:23):
Really, I do really like Jalen Nole too, who you
wrote down in the chat, like getting him later on
in the draft if he's available, Like I think that's
a totally fine back, Like Tuten is the number one
guy for sure of of the options you listed for me, Well, yeah,
I have.
Speaker 4 (01:20:36):
I have three nine and three ten, so I am
the last two picks and I'm on now it's twenty
four hour clock, so I'm I get to decide the
last two. So what I'm also thinking is I'm trying
to make a trade happen for Chase Brown. So basic
on what I sent was I sent McCormick and Stevenson
for Chase Brown. But I'm thinking I would add the
(01:20:59):
tenth pick of this here as well. Would that be
a fair trade or is that still too low? Or
am I overvaluing Chase Brown. I don't know what I'm doing.
Speaker 1 (01:21:08):
I think it's is going to say that's not enough
for it's really like Chase Brown.
Speaker 2 (01:21:13):
Yeah, so given what I have, I'm sorry, no, go ahead.
Speaker 4 (01:21:18):
I was gonna say, given the players I have, then
what would be because I think Chase Brown would be
a damn good addition to my roster? What should I
look for to trade for? Because I think he would
want the tenth pick, But what else would I offer
to make it value fair?
Speaker 2 (01:21:34):
I mean, does this person have a good team or
are they like kind of they're rebuilding okay.
Speaker 4 (01:21:40):
And they're the one who traded me, Jamar Chase.
Speaker 2 (01:21:44):
So you're twenty twenty six first, I think would be
a start that and I you'd probably have to throw
in something else trying to see where we have Chase
Chase valued here? Maybe like a.
Speaker 4 (01:22:06):
Twenty with a with a pick.
Speaker 2 (01:22:11):
Yeah, there's no real appeal there just because they're not young,
like you need to give him like a young player.
It'd be like, I don't know, what do you think
about a twenty twenty six first and like Jalen McMillan.
Speaker 3 (01:22:25):
I think that'd be fine.
Speaker 1 (01:22:26):
And if they're if they're looking to rebuild anyway, they
should be getting rid of their you know, a running
back like Chase Brown, who you're always gonna kind of
worry in the back of your mind at the Bengals
are going to draft somebody early one year, Like, I
think he's a great target for you right now, to
be clear, but I think somebody who's rebuilding, like they
should be motivated to move him. So getting a first
(01:22:47):
rounder for next year, I think it's like a pretty
enticing piece. Like maybe if instead of McMillan, they'd prefer
the three ten, Like I'm okay with that, But if
I were you, I would I would draft Touton and
then try and pair a twenty twenty six first with
the mother smaller piece to get Brown too, and then
just kind of sit back and enjoy the wins.
Speaker 2 (01:23:10):
Yeah, and if like a twenty twenty six first, and
either the three ten or Jalen McMillan. And like, heck,
even if you want to throw in both Jalen McMillan
and the three ten, Yeah, that might be a little
too much. But I'd say, for sure offer your twenty
twenty six first and give him a choice of the
three ten or Jalen McMillan.
Speaker 4 (01:23:31):
Okay, and then throughout the year, I would probably make
other trades to get some picks for twenty twenty six
and the beyond is that how this works?
Speaker 3 (01:23:38):
Yeah, but your team you can if you want to
make moves and stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:23:41):
But your team is so good that you know you
can go a year without a first round pick because
you have a bunch of great young players already.
Speaker 2 (01:23:50):
Yeah, focus in the here and now, because this is
definitely a team that could win the championship in twenty
twenty five.
Speaker 4 (01:23:57):
Okay, So, and and just to be clear, we're liking
tooting as my options right now to pick up that.
Speaker 3 (01:24:04):
Would be my pick for sure.
Speaker 2 (01:24:06):
Would be two me too, me too?
Speaker 4 (01:24:08):
Awesome? All right, thanks so much. I know we're running late.
I definitely appreciate the help.
Speaker 3 (01:24:12):
Definitely, Yeah, I'd be lucky in your first year.
Speaker 4 (01:24:15):
Thanks a lot, guys.
Speaker 1 (01:24:17):
We've got our last one here. Then we will get
out of here. Thanks to everybody for sticking around as
long as they did. We're gonna be deaz beds. Thanks
for your patience here, man, what's going on?
Speaker 3 (01:24:27):
Thanks for staying on soy, guys.
Speaker 2 (01:24:28):
I appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (01:24:29):
Of course, it's my fault.
Speaker 1 (01:24:30):
We're running along, so I'm not going to punish the
listeners by not getting to their questions.
Speaker 12 (01:24:34):
Just a little bit longer.
Speaker 2 (01:24:36):
Then let's dive in.
Speaker 12 (01:24:38):
Then I just posted my team in the chat twelve
team super Flex PPR. I made a lot of moves
last year to get second place, thus having a very
little bench to work with now, and I'm looking a
little concerned about that. I have a pillar at each
position with Burrow, Jefferson, Bowers, and Gibbs. But I'm kind
(01:25:01):
of thinking that I want to trade Burrow or justin Jefferson,
and I kind of wanted to see if I'm just
crazy and you know, downgrading one of them to add
an extra piece.
Speaker 3 (01:25:11):
It's what do you think?
Speaker 2 (01:25:12):
Yeah, I mean it kind of depends. I understand what
you mean. I kind of round out your depth a
little bit, and like I I get it. It would
definitely like I need to know the specifics, I guess,
but I do in principle, I totally understand what you're
talking about bedavs. Like, yeah, you you know, since you
(01:25:34):
do have some just rock stars in your starting lineup,
like if you could get you know, a good combination
of players for one of those studs. Just the one
thing I would bear in mind is that, you know,
sometimes you can layer a trade and someone can give
you a bunch of like perfectly average starters, and it's
(01:25:56):
still like doesn't just piling as that's on of the deal,
sure doesn't make work. Yeah, Like, really, what you're looking
at is like value over average. That's where Gibbs and
justin Jefferson that's why they're so valuable because like they
are ridiculously more valuable than the average starting fantasy player.
(01:26:18):
So just make sure like the value over average of
the multiple players you're getting in return is commensurate with
like Jefferson or Gibbs or whichever rockstar you decide to
give up.
Speaker 12 (01:26:31):
Right, well, to get a little little less conceptual like
with something like you know JJF for like Tom and
Brian Thomas and like a treveon Henderson or like a
Burrow downgrading to like Drake May plus Bucky Irving kind
of thing.
Speaker 1 (01:26:49):
Like, yeah, I like both those suggestions you threw out.
Speaker 2 (01:26:54):
Yeah, and if you could get either of those, like
you know, I don't know if like the the break
May guy would give up Break and Bucky for Burrow,
but the other one like Jefferson for like Thomas and Henderson,
that's pretty plausible, Okay.
Speaker 3 (01:27:12):
I think that is.
Speaker 1 (01:27:13):
That is a type of package you need for me
to be willing to do this, Like I can't.
Speaker 12 (01:27:17):
I got to replace them, you know, with something that's
gonna be equitable. I guess matter if I throw one
more out to you Jefferson for a j and Chase Brown,
maybe I have to sprinkle a little something on top.
But you know, I don't, I know, we would have
to fix the word at this point.
Speaker 2 (01:27:38):
You'd probably have to sweeten the pot a little.
Speaker 12 (01:27:41):
Yeah, I mean, just anything to get rid of and Andre.
At this point, it's like my last year's Bucky Irving
or not Bucky Rashad White.
Speaker 2 (01:27:49):
He's gonna be hold then. Well, I guess that's it.
Speaker 1 (01:27:54):
Man.
Speaker 12 (01:27:55):
I appreciate you boys, and thanks for doing this. We
all really appreciate it, that's for sure.
Speaker 1 (01:28:01):

This is rookie draft season.
Speaker 1 (01:28:40):
This is the most important couple of weeks for a
lot of dynasty managers at least.
Speaker 2 (01:28:45):
Absolutely glad we got to do it. We hadn't done
a show together for a while, worm And you know,
like you said, after the NFL Draft, we had a
