Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome in everybody to Fantasy Pros. This is the Fantasy
Football Podcast. It is me Joey p Joe Pi Zapia,
and we are days away from the NFL Draft, that's right,
and we're gonna be here live talking Thursday, Round one,
rounds two, and three Friday night. So make sure you
subscribe to the YouTube channel. We're trying to get to
three hundred thousand by the end of the year and
we can do it with your help. Again, subscribe ring

(00:22):
that bell to Lick Goes Dings so you don't miss
a moment of any of our Dynasty Football Draft coverage,
all of it. It's gonna be here on the YouTube
channel and again live. Make us your second screen experience,
or as I keep saying, your first screen experience, because
we're breaking it down fantasy style the way you actually
care about it. So today we're gonna do a two
round mock draft and we're gonna be making some trades

(00:43):
in there, so be patient because some of the trades
happened early and something happen a little later. So I
don't want to put spoilers on there, but I'm just
saying you're gonna have to be on your toes in
this draft, and of course to help us do it.
Debro Derek Brown, the King of Bros, My Patty Cakes,
Pat Fitz Morris, and one of our favorite guests here
of all time. I'm just so happy he made time
for us because he's such a busy man about town

(01:04):
these days. It's Brett Coleman, the man behind the film room,
great YouTube channel, excellent dude, Brett Coleman. I'm so happy
you're here. And I know your barbers out of town,
so you had to wear the hat on the show.
So you're really, you know, taking one for the team today.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Yeah, I hope you guys know how much I love you.
The Masters is on right now, and I'm.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
All the excitement of watching guys and Khakis stroll around.
I was gonna say Pat's definitely got it up by
the side screen right now. So let's just jump right
into it before we lose Pat completely. Let's start with
Debro at the top. The Tennessee Titans are on the clock. Debro,
where do you go?

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Come on, man, I'm not gonna blabor this point too much.
We know the pick, we know where they're going. It's
cam Ward quarterback out of Miami. I mean, there's no
way they walk into Week one with Will Levis center center.
So it's just you know, cam Ward and the draft
starts at two boys.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
All right, So we like to have every guest give
their two cents on cam Ward because we get differing opinions. So,
Bret Coleman, cam Ward might not be the prospect that
maybe some teams were looking for, But in your opinion,
is he good enough to go in this draft as
the number one overall player.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
I definitely think he's good enough to justify the pick.
Will he ever be an alien on par with the
other guys in the AFC Lamar, Burrow, Allen obviously Mahomes.
I don't think he'll ever reach that level. But at
the same time, if the Titans can build a good
enough roster around him like what they had in the
late twenty tens, I mean, they went on a run

(02:33):
with Ryan Tannehill like you can go on a run
with Campboard. So I think the pressure is really on
for them to maximize the next four years of cheap,
solid quarterback play. And then if they can do that
and they can build a good enough roster around a
cheap quarterback before they have to give him, I don't know,
five hundred million dollars or whatever it's going to be
in twenty thirty. I think they can make this work.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Yeah, we like to call that the Pat Fitzmorris contract
around here. All right, get to the second pick. Here,
the Cleveland Browns are up, Brett, you are officially on
the clock.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
It's Travis Hunter. You're the best player in the draft. Like,
let's let's be honest about it. I don't think there's
any other player you can really justify, like even Abdul Carter.
I don't really think you can justify taking Abdull Carter
over a true unicorn like Travis Hunter, who I think

(03:25):
is both an elite receiver prospect and an elite corner prospect.
Is he going to play both to the next level?
Probably not, just because it's one thing to play a
whole bunch of snaps at the college level, but when
you add six regular season games on top of that,
or five regular season games on top of that at
the NFL level, plus four playoff games, like, you can't

(03:45):
ask somebody to play two ways for twenty two games
a year. So I would say Travis Hunter receiver first
in Cleveland because I think they're stronger at dB right
now than receiver, which at least for fantasy, is great
for us. But he's the best player. You can't take
anybody else.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Clearly, you're heavily influenced by the signing of Joe Flacco
to the Cleveland brown so I can only assume as
they're starting quarterback week one, Pat fitz Morris already is
too busy to make a pick. He has traded the
third overall pick from the New York Giants to San
Francisco because clearly somebody's on the green right now. So Pat,
I'll let you go ahead and continue. Pat hasn't said
a word. Basically, Pat, do you have anything to say

(04:23):
about this trade here that you made while you continuously
bet on the masters?

Speaker 2 (04:27):
I do, Joe.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
The Giants are sending the number three overall pick to
the San Francisco forty nine ers in exchange for the
number eleven overall pick, the number seventy five overall pick,
San Francisco's first round pick in twenty twenty six and
San Francisco's fourth round pick in twenty twenty six. It's
just for the Giants, the best player on the board
really isn't a player the Giants need. They have Brian Burns,

(04:51):
they have Kate on Thibadeau. They don't really need another edge.
So they're going to move down eight spots, pick up
a third rounder in the draft, and feather their nest
next year's draft with an extra first.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
All right, So Brett, you get to feather your desk
with this pick for the forty nine ers because you're
the one that moved up. So who is the selection
that they have moved this capital for Abdul Carter?

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Again, it can't be anybody other than Abdul Carter. And
the Niners need Abdol Carter more than I think most
people think they do. Yes, they have Nick Bosa, but
if you look at the rest of their starting defensive line,
especially the ones they're gonna be on the field on
third down, it's Jordan Elliot, Evan Anderson and Yichu gross Matos.
They need Abdul Carter, and not only that, but getting

(05:32):
contract control on Carter for the next five years while
you're gonna have these massive cap hits for Bosa. It
kind of helps even the scales a little bit for
their spending at the edge position. You get one of
the better duos in the NFL on paper, And I
think when the Niners are great, it's when they have

(05:52):
an identity that revolves around them being great in the trenches.
That has really fallen off over the last couple of years,
especially on the defensive the ball. They have to rebuild it.
They have to get Abdul Carter. I'm willing to spend
the money to do it.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
All right, So Abdul Carter, which makes me upset because
my Patriots and a lot of these mocks. He's landed
there and I'm very happy. So New England at four, Derek,
do they just settle for the offensive lineman here?

Speaker 3 (06:15):
Yeah, we're just gonna go with the chalk pick. Doesn't
make it the wrong pick, Joey Will Campbell, zachbut Lsu.
I mean, I think the onus for the Patriots should
be one of two things.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
At the top.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
They've done a lot of revisions and overhaul on the
defensive side of the ball. It's either you're getting blocking
help for Drake May upfront or you get him a
pass catcher. And they're addressed in the offensive line here.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Well, hopefully we'll get one of those two. Brett back
to you for the fifth pick. As Pat continues to
watch the Masters, Jacksonville.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Is on the clock. Have you guys done Astron Genty
to the Jags yet? Because I really really think that
makes a lot of sense, and it's a scenario that
most people are not really exploring, right And if you're
looking at the Jags roster, like, Okay, yes they have
Etn as a starter, but is Travis Etn, who I

(07:06):
think has one year left on his deal, a good
enough football player to make you think, nah, we don't
need Ashton Genty. Like for me, if you're trading Etn,
you're probably getting a fourth round pick for him at best.
And to me, you don't pass on a player like
Ashton Gent because you already have a running back who
might be a fourth round pick at best if you're
trading them and Tank Bigsby, I think is a really

(07:27):
solid number two. But again, contract control only for the
next two years anyway, So I think running back is
a sneaky need now and in the future for Jacksonville,
and I might as well fill it with a blue
chip talent.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Will you think they would then trade Atn if they
made this pick, because that seems like I'm just I think,
so I just kind of free up that space. So
this is probably another one of these. Okay, now we're
into day two and day three. You see guys start
to move, and I think it's gonna be a lot
of trades actually throughout this draft. Let's get to the
Las Vegas Raiders at six. Pat, I know we're at
a commercial break, so you have time to make a pick.
Let's go. Raiders are up at six, and so are you.

(08:02):
Oh man.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
The Raiders had unopened boxes of Ashton genty jerseys in
their team shop and Brent just completely foiled our plans here.
So the Raiders are forced to make a pivot here
and they are gonna go with Shadduor Sanders quarterback of Colorado.
Gino Smith is the guy for twenty twenty five, but
Gino turns thirty five in October. The Raiders want to

(08:24):
get their quarterback of the future at some point, and
Brett kind of forced the issue and made them make
that move now. So they get Chaduur, a tough, cerebral,
highly accurate passer, and that's gonna be their their quarterback
beyond Gino going forward.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
All right, let's go to number seven. The New York
Jets are up, Debro, You're on the clock.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
I'm just gonna give them trench up. I mean, a
defensive minded head coach. You know, he's gonna go to
the trenches. He's gonna go to the defensive side of
the ball. Let's give him Mason Graham defensive tackle out
of Michigan, Baby.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
Kaind of getting tough on the trenches for the Jets.
Now we're gonna talk about the Carolina Panthers at eight.
We always tend to find defense going in this first
pick for them, Brent Or is that where you're going
as well?

Speaker 2 (09:03):
I am also going defensive tackle Walter Nolan. He's my
highest graded DT in this class, even over the Michigan kids.
I understand there was some concerns about him off the field,
but from what I've checked into, it's nothing really like
that crazy or that important. It's more so just young

(09:26):
kid being young kid. You get him into an NFL
environment around locker room leaders and kind of, you know,
let him develop into a pro and then he can
maximize his god given talent, which is better than every
other DT in this class. Like he came out as
a bona FIDE five star, like top player in the
entire nation when he was in high school. He's still

(09:46):
that level of talent. Now you get him into the
right environment, which I do think Carolina is, especially with
the culture that Canalis is built there. Like, I think
you can really really maximize one of the most talented
overall players at any position in this whole.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Okay, Next up the New Orleans Saints at nine, Pat
fitz Morris.

Speaker 4 (10:04):
Will Johnson cornerback Michigan. The Saints need to get better
at cornerback. Kool Aid mckinstree. He's a keeper, but then
it's Isaac Yiadam who was sort of an affordable free
agency stopgap Alante Taylor Hugo Amadi. New Orleans needs another
good cover man, and they get one here with Will Johnson.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
That puts the Bears up at ten.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
Debro Well Brett, I'm curious what you think about this one.
I'm going back to the tackle, baby, They're just flying
off the board. We're gonna go defensive tackle. Kenneth Grant
out of Michigan. I know that they made additions to
the defensive line. Grady Jarrett, what are we going to
get it out of him? At this point of his career,
Gervon Dexter has been solid, but not a difference maker.
I think the Bears still need to fortify the trenches here,

(10:45):
so Grant can do that for him.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
All right, let's take a quick break here, because the

Speaker 1 (12:02):
Now, since we had a trade earlier, we're going to
have to now bring Pat back in here. I hope
you don't select a Bryson d. Chambau for this selection
for the Giants. That would have been a really weird thing.
But now the Giants are picking at eleven, So Pat,
what do they do after that trade with San Fran?

Speaker 4 (12:16):
They take armand Membu Offensive Tackle Missouri An Infrastructure an
Infrastructure picks. Yeah, exactly. Membu's a stud and the Giants
are happy that he falls outside the top ten. It's
probably going to start off at right guard for the Giants,
but he might also be able to compete at right tackle.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
All right, sticking with Pat fitz Moors for the twelfth
pick here, it's a little awkward. You know, same division.
The Dallas Cowboys are up next. So where do the
Cowboys go at twelve?

Speaker 4 (12:44):
With Tetoroa McMillan wide receiver Arizona CD Lamb needs a
running mate. Ted McMillan is going to be the t
Higgins to Cede Lambs, j Mark Chase.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
Okay, the peanut butter to my jelly. Derek Brown. You're
up next to thirteen with the Miami Dolphins.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
I think this pick is Locke set with a tackle
considering Tron Armstead's retirement, so I'm going to give them
Kelvin Banks tackle out of Texas.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
Okay, let's do the fourteenth pick now for the Indianapolis Colts.
Brett Coleman, You're on the clock.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
If this is not Tyler Warren, I will be stunned
in the real draft. Like, this team desperately needs a
good tight end. I'm not going to say that Anthony
Richardson played particularly well last year, but at the same time,
there were plenty of huge plays that were left on
the table because tight ends just straight up didn't turn
around and look at the ball when it bounced off

(13:37):
the back of their heads. So just getting any competent
tight end play in Indie would go a long way
towards Anthony Richardson also taking that next step, which I
think for those of us that are heavily invested in
him in Dynasty, we would appreciate that a lot.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
I feel like when you say one of us you
might be seeing you, I'm just a small feeling I
have there. Ted McMillan first wide receiver off the board,
Is he the first wide receiver on your board? Just
out of curiosity on my no, I've got Golden at
wide receiver one.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
I think he's the most dude. Like, if you're just
looking at what projects to succeed in the NFL, I
think I think it's Matthew Golden here reminds me a
lot of Brandon Cooks, which is why I think he
could easily go at twelve. And then you know, after
Golden's it's pretty much a dead heat between Jayden Higgins
and t Back and they do different stuff, Like I

(14:23):
think they have different skill sets and you could argue
for either one of them. I think all of them
are going to be first round picks.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
I just love the fact that Golden is your number one.
Do you hear that? De bro? That's the guy.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
I love the man.

Speaker 3 (14:33):
I love the fact that he brought up Jaden Higgins.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
Baby.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
I know, but you'll learn to love Golden. I was
telling you about Golden back in November. I said, listen,
this is the kid I'm telling you right now. So
I love it when we have a guest on as
smart and handsome as Brett Coleman to make that sort
of assessment. All right, let's move on here, because Warren's
a guy that we've given out a couple of times
now to the cold. So at fifteen Atlanta Falcons, pat
we going to the edge again.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
We are.

Speaker 4 (14:56):
We're going with Mike Green the edge from Marshall.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Joe.

Speaker 4 (14:59):
I bet uncomfortable amount of money that the Falcons are
going to take a defensive linemen slash edge with their
first pick in the draft, and that's what they're going
to do here. The Falcons were thirty first in sacks
and twenty fifth in pressure rate last year. They need
a pass rusher. Green had seventeen sacks last year for Marshall.
He was terrific and mobile during Senior Bowl week, Mike
Green can give the Atlanta pass rush some steam.

Speaker 1 (15:21):
I'd just love to know what that number is that
makes Pad uncomfortable. Let's get to sixteen. Here the Arizona
ten dollars. Show tell seventeen fifty. Arizona is up next, Debro,
that's back to you.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
I don't did the Cardinals want to go to war
in twenty twenty five with the starting outside duo of
Max Melton and Sean Murphy bunting again, So I'm going
to give him a corner, give him Jday Baron cornerback
out of Texas.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
Okay, Bret, back to you for the Bengals at seventeen.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
Bengals is seventeen. If they don't take a guard, something
is very very wrong, especially when grays abel on the board.
So Gray's able come on down like they probably already
have it written in pen and they're just to the
football gods they get to submit it.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
Yeah, that would be a good selection for them for sure.
At eighteen the Seattle Seahawks Pat fitz Morris.

Speaker 4 (16:07):
They are also going interior line with Tyler Booker guard
from Alabama, a glaring need for Seattle on the interior
of the O line and they get the best pure
guard in the class. That's not a knock on Zabel.
I'm counting him as kind of a Swiss army knife.
You can play anywhere.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
Okay, Debro Tampa at nineteen.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
Todd Bowles is running this pick to the podium. Klaijah
Kansi has not worked out to this point all the
testing measurables. We are going to go Shamar Stewart edge
out of Texas A.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
And m okay. That puts the Denver Broncos up at
twenty and Brett Coleman that the pick is yours.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
The chalkiest of chock picks ever, Omarion Hampton give him
to me. I got to ask you, guys. Let's just
say Omarion goes to Denver and Gent goes to either
Jacksonville or the Raiders. How close do they go to
each other in Dynasty? Is it one and two automatically?

Speaker 1 (17:02):
Guynasty guru around these parts, what say you?

Speaker 4 (17:06):
I think it's one and two? But yeah, I mean
Hampton that is probably the dream landing spot for him
because of how much Sean Payton uses his running backs
in the passing game, and we've seen that Hampton can
be really productive as a pass catcher, Like he's not
just a big thumper of a back, like he's really
useful in the passing game too. So yeah, that would

(17:27):
be go ahead.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
Let me complicate it for you. Then, Oh, let's say
he gets to seven and the Jets say screw it?

Speaker 3 (17:37):
Are we assuming bris Saw is on the move?

Speaker 2 (17:39):
Is Bri staying no? No, let's say all of them
are there.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
Have you read something today where they were talking about
moving into some sort of weird committee system with all
those guys, which is gonna hurt haul deep.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
You're talking about looking at contracts and Breee, I think
has it's either one or two more year.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
I feel like he would manned out of there. Then
that's that's my feeling if that happened, But doesn't mean
you get your wish Debro. What happens when that situation
gets real money.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
If he goes, If Gent goes to the Jets and
Hampton's at the Broncos, you will probably see some dynasty
of rookie drafts where Hampton goes over Gent.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
What I'm saying and I'm not I wouldn't be doing it.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
I just want to be on record that I wouldn't
be doing that, but you will see.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
But in redraft I can happen on redraft. I would
think Hampton would become more valuable in that scenario for sure.
Probably just saying, but you know that's without a doubt.
All right, let's go to twenty one the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Pat fitz Morris, what do you have for us?

Speaker 4 (18:36):
Oh, this might upset Jackson Dart fan club president Derek Brown. Oh,
A lot of people think this could be where Dart goes.
But I don't know if the Steelers want to bet
on Dart as their QB of the future. And Pittsburgh
doesn't have a second round pick, so I think the
Steelers need to get some sort of immediate help with
this pick. So they're going to take Derek Harmon, the

(18:57):
defensive tackle from Oregon, a disruptive presence on the d
line who has some positional versatility they can play next to.
Keanu Benten is a three to four end and he's
gonna help make the Steelers front seven nasty.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
That makes the Pittsburgh Steelers Now officially this week's Chasing
Challenges segment brought to you by Microsoft. Just like the
athletes who push boundaries and redefine what's possible. Business decision
makers today are turning challenges into opportunities, and Microsoft meets
you where you are with tools and guidance to help
you make an impact with safe secure AI solutions which
I think Mike Tomlin could use a few of those,

(19:33):
and whatever challenge you're facing, Microsoft empowers you with the
expertise to say bring it on. In this segment, we're
gonna spotlight the challenges that lie ahead of the Pittsburgh
Steelers because what the hell are they doing right now
at the quarterback position? This is a complete s show.
You got Mason Rudolph now hanging out there. You're waiting
for Aaron Rodgers to come out of his latest darkness

(19:53):
or treat to see if he really likes you to
play for you. As of recording this, we don't know
what's going on here. And if they don't take Jackson dart,
at least take a moment just because they're gun shy.
Because the Kenny Pickett situation didn't work out. You threw
a dart at him, it didn't work out. Why don't
you throw a dart at Jackson instead? Because that kid
has a lot more upside, in my opinion, anyway to
possibly be your quarterback of the future. Otherwise, you continue

(20:15):
with this team, it might scrap together ten wins, make
the playoffs and lose, and eventually Mike Tomlin the last
couple of years in the playoffs starting to look a
little bit more like Marvin Lewis to me. So we
got to figure something out here real fast if we're
the Pittsburgh Steelers, and that, my friends, is the challenges
that are facing right now the Pittsburgh Steelers. So I
encourage everybody right now to use Microsoft's AI solutions to

(20:37):
empower you to take bold steps, new ideas to help
drive your business forward. With Microsoft is your trusted partner,
you can navigate with your journey with confidence, finding innovative
solutions and reaching new possibilities. Visit microsoft dot com slash
challengers to learn more. All right, let's move on here.
Thank god I could do that without Bogman in this room. Today,
the Chargers are up next to twenty two. Well, it's

(20:58):
all true and he knows it all. Back to you
here for the twenty second pick for the Chargers.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
Speaking of head coaches, cutting back flips and things that
are crazy, I mean, Jim Harbaugh would not be able
to submit this pick fast enough. Man bringing one of
his own like second sons home Couston, Lovelin, tight End, Michigan.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
I'm on down, baby, Yeah, you're you're a future Charger.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
All right. There's a tough spot here, Brett, because you're
picking for Pathfts Morris as Packers at twenty three.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
Before I get to that, I just want to ask
a question on the Steelers to you guys. Am I
the only one that finds it super weird that Jalen
Milroe got invited to the NFL Draft when they only
invite eight to ten people and that's the only ones
that they think are actually going to go in the
first round? Am I the only one that's like, hold
on for a second, b oh man.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
If that happens, you.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
Guys talk about Jackson Dart, I'm like, I think it
might be Millroe. I'm just saying, listen, man.

Speaker 1 (21:52):
All I can say is subscribe to the YouTube channel
because Scott Bogen will be on with us for a
night one and if that happens, if Milroe is the.

Speaker 2 (22:00):
Guy, I'm going to be happy.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
I don't know if Bob. You think Bob will be
happy about it.

Speaker 3 (22:04):
Oh, he likes I think he'll be happy where I'm like,
I would be like, oh, Steelers, what are you doing?

Speaker 1 (22:09):
Maybe? No, Look, man, what do you think of Milroe
Brett as a prospect, Because I understand the athleticis when
I watch him play, I'd still see an athlete, not
a quarterback still and and you know.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
I think so. The thing is, if you're drafting Jalen Millroe,
you're drafting him for what you think he's gonna be
in twenty twenty seven, right, and the upside is absolutely enormous.
He's one of the most special runners with the football
I've ever seen. I think as a passer. It's not
that he's raw. He's just incredibly inconsistent. His ball placement

(22:40):
is all over the place. Like the character is incredible,
the traits are incredible. He's just not ready to play.
And if you're going to Pittsburgh, you kind of gotta
play unless they don't.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
Rod in the situation Brett where somebody can can tutor him,
because because we all know the track record of the
learning tree of Aaron Raw is so prolific. There's so
many branches and leaves from there that have been just
just wonderful shade for young quarterbacks to grow under.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
I think you're really more trusting Arthur Smith with the
development than you are, like being a good.

Speaker 3 (23:18):
Desmond Rider says what.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
I just again, if if I am in Milrose camp,
I want him. And let's just say he has to
go in the first round, like the NFL is holding
a gun to every single owner's said and say you
will take this kid in the top thirty two. If
I'm Milroe, the place I want to go is the
Rams because a doesn't have to play sure that knows

(23:41):
how to develop guys like that is the dream scenario.
I don't necessarily think Pittsburgh is a great fit for
him for a lot of reasons. Doesn't mean that Pittsburgh
can't take a rookie quarterback. But if Pittsburgh take a
rookie quarterback, I'm looking at like Kyle I m accord
on day two. More So, the.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
Ram scenario works a lot. That's that's you got the
great coach there, You've got Stafford. That's a place where
if Milro went then all of a sudden, actually I'd
be able to go, Okay, well, this is a couple
of years here, maybe two years for him to you know,
learn under Matthew Stafford. That's a good spot. Uh So
now we can disappoint the pat with agree bait Packer pick.
Go ahead, Brett.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
I don't think this would disappoint him because I think
Donovan Azraku is really really good. This is a team
that I think had an effective pass rush overall in
the aggregate if you're looking at like overall pressure numbers
and pass rush win rates as a team, like, they
were not terrible, even though Packers fans think they were.
The problem is they just didn't have like that one

(24:37):
alpha pass rusher that they could really count on to
take over a game, like they didn't have their own TJ. Watt.
So I think you bring in Donovan Azeraku and he
can be here like alpha edge rusher that I think
is is going to be more effective than most of
the ones they currently have. And I know Packers fans
are scarred by the LVN pick because they're like, oh, great,
another first round pass rusher. But Ezraku is a very

(24:59):
different profile than the ones that the Packers typically favor.
They like these big two hundred and seventy plus pound
heavy handed edge types as Raku's two fifty and his
flamethrower off the edge, So he's a different style than
what they normally get, and I think he would give
them something that they don't have, which is somebody who
can actually close out a drive on third down by themselves.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
All right, Pat, is a good argument. Minnesota is up next?
Pat at twenty four? That's you.

Speaker 4 (25:26):
Yeah, And just to piggyback on that, as Roku did
play for Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Halfley at Boston College.

Speaker 2 (25:32):
It is the fit, does.

Speaker 1 (25:34):
Erickson, You've connected all the strudents.

Speaker 3 (25:38):
Make it wrong?

Speaker 2 (25:39):
All right now?

Speaker 4 (25:39):
So now I have to make the pick for the
hated Minnesota Vikings, at least if you're a Packers fan.
But I'm going to do right by the Vikings and
find them an heir to Harrison Smith, who's I think
thirty six, and give them safety. Malachi Starks of Georgia
just really highly productive. It's I know, Starks isn't the
number one safety on everyone's born. It's kind of a

(26:00):
film versus testing thing maybe, but I personally think Starks
is the best safety in the draft.

Speaker 1 (26:08):
All right, debro Let's move on here. The Houston Texans
are up next to twenty five, It's typically been O line.
Is that where we're sticking today?

Speaker 3 (26:15):
Yeah, I'm going to line, and I think the signing
of Cam Robinson means that they don't have to rush
this guy that they're pushing the draft button on, but
he's going to be a big part of their future.
I'm going to give them offensive tackle Josh Simmons out
of Ohio State.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
Well, Brett, it just so happens you're on the clock
here at twenty six for the Rams, So think Brett
the Jalen pick here next.

Speaker 2 (26:35):
I've never been more happy to be sniped in my life. Yeah.
I love the Simmons pick to Houston. And I think
the Jahad Campbell pick to the Rams, which is what
I'm going to go with, is also very very sneaky.
I think most people don't expect Campbell to get here,
but in this scenario, which by the way, every pick
leading up to this has made sense, so it is
possible that Campbell gets to twenty six. But I think

(26:57):
the Rams would absolutely love that because a they need
an off ball linebacker and b they need an off
ball linebacker the complits and Campbell could do that. So Yeah,
bring me to Hot Campbell, you get five years of
contract control. The contract issue was the reason why they
didn't bring back Ernest Jones in the first place, even
though he also was a great, blitzing off ball linebacker.
So now you get that for the next five years,

(27:18):
you have an aggressive, defensive, defensive front in front of him.
And I think the theme of twenty twenty four would
continue to twenty twenty five, which is, do not get
into third.

Speaker 3 (27:26):
And eight against the La Rams, all right, Bred, I
think this is definitely plausible. By the way, with the
shoulder stuff coming out recently, I think he.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
Could fall here potentially, and I'll take it.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
Pat. That puts you back on the clock for the
Ravens at twenty seven.

Speaker 4 (27:41):
Yeah, the Ravens are all about catching the falling value,
and Mikel Williams is typically being mocked. Somewhere around the
middle of the first round. He falls to the Ravens
at twenty seven. The edge from Georgia just a high
upside pass rusher. Williams is sixty five, two hundred and
sixty seven pounds with a nearly eighty three inch wing
span and also some pretty remarkable strength, and he's only

(28:03):
twenty years old, one of the youngest players in the draft.
I think he doesn't turn twenty one until late June.

Speaker 1 (28:09):
Debro back up at twenty eight four of the Detroit
Lions whant to keep.

Speaker 3 (28:12):
The Georgia run going, Baby, give him Jalon Walker linebacker
out of Georgia again, Like, he's not gonna be a
fit for a lot of different teams. But I think
Detroit found out after this season, after the injury bug
bit them hard. They have to get more pass rush.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
All right. That brings up the Washington Commanders at twenty nine, Brett,
that pip belongs to you.

Speaker 2 (28:30):
Well, I talked about Matthew Golden earlier and he is
still somehow on the board. So give me yet another
weapon for Jayden Daniels. I think these two would make sweet,
sweet music together along with Terry And you know, is
it their top need?

Speaker 3 (28:44):
No?

Speaker 2 (28:45):
Is it fun? Yes? And that's what matters.

Speaker 1 (28:47):
Well, it's definitely fun. But I mean, do you think
if let's say it did come to this and Golden
was still on the board here, I mean, obviously you
made the pick, but they could use safety help. They
could use you know, defensive help period. With the fact
that they did make that move for Debo, do you
think they would still push for another wide receiver?

Speaker 2 (29:03):
Part of me, I do I like in especially a receiver.
When you're a team that's going to be playing a
lot of eleven personnel. Part of me wants to insulate
them from a potential worst case scenario beyond a Jayden
Daniel's injury, which is a Terry McLaurin injury. Because for
a team that runs eleven as much as they're probably
going to do again in twenty twenty five, if you're

(29:23):
walking out there with Noah Brown and then X year
old Deebo Samuel as your top two guys and you're
number three, like you're hoping for the best from from
Luke McCaffrey or kJ Osborne, Like, is that a receiving
corps that really puts the fear of God in you?
If Terry's gone? Not really, so I would love to
infuse more talent into that room.

Speaker 3 (29:45):
Debot also a free agent after this year, too, So true.

Speaker 2 (29:48):
Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 1 (29:49):
But I'm sure you know one or two people in
the YouTube comments are going to say, but they just
had do you both? Samuel? Also, I want to answer
that question now and put it out in either X
years old. Pat fitz Morris, you're up for the Buffalo
Bills at thirty.

Speaker 4 (30:01):
They're gonna take Nicki min Wore the safety from South Carolina.
Safety is kind of a need for the Bills. Emon
Worri posted a perfect ten relative athletics score four point
three to eight speed and a forty three inch vertical jump.
He gives the Bills secondary a booster shot of athleticism.
I have to ask Brett, Brett, who do you prefer,

(30:22):
Malachi Starks or Nicki Minwarri.

Speaker 2 (30:24):
I would say Starks out of those two, And to
be honest, the safety that I think is right next
to Starks, even more so than Emon Worry is Kevin
Winston Junior from Penn State. It was up to me, Okay,
what are you that?

Speaker 1 (30:36):
All right, let's go to thirty one here. Kansaity chiefs
debro Well Kansas City believes that they solved one of
their tackle issues with signing jaym On Moore.

Speaker 3 (30:46):
We'll see if that pans out or not. Juwan Taylor
has not been good for the last few seasons. They
need an upgrade at tackle spot.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
I'm gonna getther.

Speaker 3 (30:53):
Josh Connery offensive tackle out at workin Okay.

Speaker 1 (30:56):
Next up here in the final pick of the first round,
Apple to Brett for the Philadelphia Eagles at thirty two.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
I think corner is a sneaky need for the Eagles.
They did really well last year in terms of, you know,
building out the youth and their secondary with Quinyon and
Cooper Dejen, but with Darius Slay out of the building
now they still need another corner opposite Quinnyon. And I'm
just kind of continuing with this youth movement and building
the best secondary that costs no money in the entire league.

(31:23):
So bring me Trey Amos do an old dB from
Ole Miss.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
All right, that turns the page for us officially, now
to round two and we're going to start at thirty
three with the Cleveland Browns. Again, Derek Brown, you're on
the clock.

Speaker 3 (31:37):
Well, he did make it into the first round, so
I'm smarting based off of that. But look, Cleveland cannot
walk into Week one with Joe Flacco under center, or
at least give him some competition. I'm going to correct
some wrongs here, boys. Jackson dark quarterback from Ole Miss,
come on down.

Speaker 1 (31:53):
There, you go, Brett. The comp that I threw on
Jackson Dart was Jeff Garcia. And I know a lot
of people are too interest understanding that one. I'm just curious, well,
because it was a guy that kind of came out
of nowhere, a guy that is not afraid of contact
could run better than you realized, throws with his entire
body the way Garcia did, and that I put some
of the tape side by side and I even sent it,
made Derek Brown watch it and he had to eventually go, yeah,

(32:15):
you know, I see what you're talking about. Who is
your comp for Jackson Dart If you have one.

Speaker 2 (32:21):
Case Keenum that can run, okay, And I know that's
going to sound like an insult, but Case Keenum has
played for like fifteen years something like that, and he's
been around for a long time. He's started a bunch
of games. Yeah, I think he's been pretty I mean, god,
he just went on a miracle run with Minnesota not
too long ago. I guess it was like seven years
ago at this point. But still like Case Keenum at

(32:43):
his peak was a solid starting quarterback at the NFL.
And I think Jackson Dart is bigger, stronger, faster, play
style wise, I think he reminds me a lot of Keenum,
and so if he can be Case Keenum but potentially
with more juice as a runner, I think, yeah, like
that that could start in the NFL. But just like

(33:05):
Case Keenum, I think it's going to take him a
few years to get there because he's coming from a
Lane Kiffin system that is not remotely similar to what
he's going to be asked to do in the NFL.
So he has to go somewhere that I think he
can sit, and maybe that's Cleveland because they have Flacco.
I'm curious to get your guys' opinions on this.

Speaker 3 (33:24):
Well.

Speaker 1 (33:24):
I'm looking forward to the Film Room episode where you
break down Jeff Garcia and Jackson Dart.

Speaker 2 (33:28):
I mean I can get some early twenty all twenty two.

Speaker 1 (33:31):
Want I want to see it. I will be there,
said to be the link as Susan drops. I want
to watch it because I think you might see some
of the same things I'm seeing. Pat. I want to
get your take on Dart too, because we had didn't
give him ot in the first round. If it goes
to Cleveland here in the second, do you think this
is a spot where he can take his time? No,
pressure to start week one in the second round, right,
So do you think Dart would be in a spot

(33:52):
here Sefanski where he might actually be able to realize
case keenum.

Speaker 4 (33:56):
Plus, it would be good if he had time to learn,
because I don't think he was asked to read the
entire field under Lane Kiffin. And I've heard some people
suggest that, you know, were it not for Lane Kiffin's system,
Dart would not be regarded as a Day one or
even Day two prospect. So I do think like a

(34:18):
year of seasoning and sitting and watching and learning could
help him a lot.

Speaker 1 (34:21):
All right, let's put Brett back on the clock here
at thirty four for the New York Giants.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
I really like a Mecca Abuka. He is the type
of receiver that I think is going to play for
a long long time as a high end wide receiver two,
potentially low end wide receiver one in the league depending
on where he goes like that kind of like Zay
Flowers tier of player right where it's like, if you
needed to be a one, he could be a one.
But boy, if you pay him with Malik Neighbors, that's
a very very high end too. Now, Okay, the Giants.

(34:49):
I think still need long term answers at quarterback, but
whoever is there, you know, throwing to Malik and to
Abuka being protected by Membu being protected by Andrew Thomas,
Like we could make.

Speaker 1 (35:01):
That work with Russ Okay, very good, and don't worry.
I'm sure they'll have three or four wins next year
and they'll be right back in the quarterback. Tennessee Titans
are up at thirty five. I am salty today. I
don't know why it's Friday. Let's get the Tennessee Titans
at thirty five. Baffits morris Well.

Speaker 4 (35:18):
One of the options here was just taking off the table.
They would have been interested in a mechgg Buka for sure. Instead,
the Titans are going to take James Pierce the edge
from Tennessee. They do need a pass rusher to replace
Harold Landry. They look in state and find one in Knoxville.
And you know, as a potential first rounder, Pierce looks
like a pretty good value early in the second and

(35:39):
they're just gonna have to wait on wide receiver until
round three or beyond.

Speaker 1 (35:43):
I guess that puts up the Jacksonville Jaguars at thirty
six and Debro.

Speaker 3 (35:48):
Jacksonville is one more corner away from fielding a pretty
good starting trio, and I'm gonna give it to him.
Gonna give Maxwell Harriston cornerback out of Kentucky. Like you know,
Tyson Campbell's really good signing Jordan Lewis, I mean, and
we are one corner away from big improvements on the
past defense side.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
Okay, Bret, back to you for the rates at thirty seven.

Speaker 2 (36:07):
I'm also going corner. I'm gonna go Benjamin Morrison, which
you know he got injured early on in twenty twenty four,
but if you go back to twenty twenty three, this
had the This is a player that had the best
tape for a pure corner prospect out of anybody in
this class. I'm including Travis Hunter, I'm including Will Johnson.
When Ben Morrison is healthy, he is the best cover
corner in this class. Getting him at top round two,

(36:30):
I like that a lot.

Speaker 1 (36:31):
Pat You're back up for thirty eight for the Patriots.

Speaker 4 (36:34):
Yeah, they're gonna take Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden the third.
And if Burden had been able to come out after
a sophomore season, he probably would have been a top
ten pick the Patriots get him at thirty eight. Overall,
he can be a short area target for Drake May.
LB three is just electric in the open field. He
can turn those short completions into big games. I know

(36:54):
Debro hates Burden, but I think this is good value
for your Patriots here at thirty eight. Wait is it
thirty eight?

Speaker 2 (37:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (37:01):
Thirty eight overall, let's Brett. I'm curious because you know
Burden goes here, Jayden Higgins still on the board. Who
do you think is a better fit for the Patriots
and Drake May.

Speaker 2 (37:12):
I mean, it kind of depends on what you're trying
to get out of them, right, Like, if you want
a vertical threat, a ball winner outside, it's going to
be Jaden Higgins. I think if you want to generate
cheap completions and yack opportunities for Drake, you know, I
think loser Burden fits that kind of role. It just
depends on what you really really want and what kind
of what kind of system they want to run there.

(37:32):
But like you can make either of them work.

Speaker 1 (37:35):
Yeah, I think I would rather have Higgins personally, because
I think Drake May's mobility allows you a little bit
more time to get guys downfield a little bit, so
I honestly I'll settle for either because we don't have
any of it right now. Next up here the Chicago
Bears at thirty nine. Debro, you're back on the clock.

Speaker 3 (37:51):
Chicago went d tackle round one, and everybody's been mocking
gent to them, or some semblance of giving Chicago Bears
their ants and Ben Johnson their answer running back. I'm
going to give them the guy that is. I'm not
saying that he is Jamier Gibbs, but he is the
closest thing in this draft class to Jamiir. Gibbs is
being lightning in a bottle. I know people are going

(38:12):
to say, oh, but DeAndre Swift is their look. They
can still trade Swift away and ask Rochean to be
the early down thumper in this offense. I'm going to
give them Trevion Henderson running back out of Ohio State.

Speaker 1 (38:23):
Okay, so running back off the board here Trevion Henderson.
That puts the Saints up at forty for Brett Well.

Speaker 2 (38:30):
I just mentioned Jayden Higgins and I cannot abide by
him falling any further. And I know a lot of
people would look at New Orleans roster and say, like,
do they really need a receiver? Like they got Alave,
they got Cooks, they got Rashichi Heat. Brinda Cooks is
like the only receiver that's going to be on the
roster actor twenty twenty five, at least based on how
their current contracts are structured. So like, yeah, they kind

(38:52):
of have to future proof the position a little bit.
And if I can get a potential number one with
Jayden Higgins, I'm going to do that, especially at forty Now,
it's a.

Speaker 1 (38:58):
Great pick for sure, especially with the question marks arding
the health of that wide receiver corps for sure. All Right,
that brings the Bears back again at forty one. Path
fitz Morris, that's to you.

Speaker 4 (39:07):
The Bears select Azarier Thomas cornerback Florida State. The Bears
could maybe use an upgrade over Tyreek Stevenson at cornerback.
Thomas is a physical six to one cover guy who
could join Jalen Johnson and Kyler Gordon a form a
really good cornerback.

Speaker 1 (39:20):
Trio that puts the Jets up at forty two. And
Derek Brown well Sauce Gardner needs a running mate. I
know that the Jets signed Brandon Stevens I I have.

Speaker 3 (39:32):
That's hard math to consider him as the definitive starting
outside corner. Consider him what he's done over the last
few years. I'm going to give them another corner here.
Let's goom Darien Porter, who tested like a monster at
the combine cornerback out of Iowa.

Speaker 1 (39:46):
Stan San Francisco back at forty three for Brett.

Speaker 2 (39:50):
I'm going back to the d line well, because they
need it that badly. So we took Abdol Carter in
the first. After a trade up, We're taking Alfred Collins
here in the second. So we have a dominant defensive tackle,
you know, in between two dominant edges. That's our identity,
all right.

Speaker 1 (40:06):
Dallas Cowboys at forty four Pat fitz Morris.

Speaker 4 (40:09):
Dallas is gonna go offensive line with Donovan Jackson of
Ohio State right tackle and right guarter question marks for
the Cowboys. Jackson could potentially fill either position. He gives
the Cowboys a little bit of versatility on their own line.

Speaker 1 (40:22):
That brings up forty five and that's Indianapolis Colts and Debro.

Speaker 3 (40:27):
The Colts cornerback room still needs some help. I know
they brought in Sharvarius Ward. They still got Kenny Moore.
I have a hard time believing they're going to walk
into Week one with Jaylon Jones or Juju Brint's opposite
those guys. I'm going to give the Colts Sabon rebel
cornerback out of Eastern Carolina.

Speaker 1 (40:43):
Okay, another corner off the board, which brings us to
forty six and the ISA Falcons, Brett, that's yours.

Speaker 2 (40:48):
I am doubling down on edge for the Falcons. And
I know they took Mike Green in the first round.
In this mode, I don't care. They need more than
one guy, So we got Mike Green opposite of Braden
Swinson from LSU. We still got Leonard Floyd there. I
know Arnold Nebikidi is still there too. He hasn't really
turned into what they want. I'm just I'm tired of

(41:09):
this franchise going a decade or more without having a
competent pass rush. So I am just taking a shotgun
approach here so that they could finally finally rush the passer.

Speaker 1 (41:20):
Yeah, double dipping on the edge rushers here at forty seven.
The Arizona Cardinals Pat fitz Morris.

Speaker 4 (41:25):
They won an edge rusher too, so they're going to
take Landon Jackson from Arkansas. Debro gave the Cardinals John
Day Baron in the first round.

Speaker 2 (41:33):
I love that pick.

Speaker 4 (41:34):
Let's continue to crank up the pass rush and make
the passing game better with Jackson, who just a freak athlete.
He posted a relative athletic score of nine point eighty eight.
He's just a berserker off the edge.

Speaker 1 (41:46):
All right, Let's get to the in Miami Dolphins at
forty eight, Debro, they filed a.

Speaker 3 (41:51):
Huge need in round one. They have a huge need
if you look at their depth chart at detackle. Right now,
I'm going to fill that need here Tyler Williams, defensive
tackle out of Oioa State.

Speaker 1 (42:02):
All right, at forty nine the Cincinnati Bengals, we have
a trade alert here. The Houston Texans are moving up.
Cincinnati is giving up pick number forty nine and one
fifty three. Houston is giving fifty eight and eighty nine.
So Houston is now on the clock. Brett, what are
the Houston Texans moving up for?

Speaker 2 (42:21):
They are moving up for a guard because they desperately
need one. I am double dipping once again an offensive
line for the Texans because they put themselves into this
position where it had to be done, so I'm doing it,
and I'm willing to give up the extra pick to
make it happen. Jonah Sanavi sava e Nea. There we go.
I told myself I'd nail the pronunciation my draft day,
so we're almost there. He is both a left tackle

(42:43):
and a right tackle at Arizona, sometimes would play both
positions in the same game. I think he's also going
to be a dominant guard in the NFL. But he
can flex out to tackle if you absolutely need him to,
like if you take on injuries, he can do it,
which is why for me, he is this draft's version
of Elton Jenkins.

Speaker 1 (43:00):
That puts up Seattle at fifty Pa Fitz Morris.

Speaker 4 (43:04):
Seattle's gonna take elck Iomanner wide receiver of Stanford. Seattle
has Jackson Smith and jig Ben Cooper Cup, two guys
who have primarily been slot receivers. Let's give them a
big outside receiver. Iamaner needs some refinement, but he is
one of the most physical receivers in the draft.

Speaker 1 (43:21):
Also needing some refinement. Derek Brown, you are up at
fifty one the Denver Broncos.

Speaker 3 (43:26):
I love how you threw that together. Travis Hunter, by
the way, is very very happy that Iomnner is not
getting drafted in his conference, just saying, but I'm gonna
give Denver a big body, wide receiver that fills the
need for them. And I don't even know if I'm
the highest person on this show. On my dude, Trey
Harris wide receiver out of Old miss because I know Brett,

(43:48):
We've talked about him in text. Dude, Trey Harris is
a baller, right.

Speaker 2 (43:51):
I love Trey Harris like I think he's a starting
X receiver in the NFL. You can probably him day one.
I would adore this.

Speaker 1 (43:59):
Okay, good pick here, Denver having a good pick for
the offense. All right, let's go back to the Seattle
Seahawks for their second pick in the last three Brett,
you're on the clock.

Speaker 2 (44:08):
Fun little stat for you here. So there's one hundred
and thirty four teams in the FBS, and I believe
Indiana was one hundred and third in terms of number
of a gap runs faced on defense, and yet they
were fourth in all of the FBS in terms of
tackles for lost or no gain on a gap runs.
They also were the best in all the FBS in
terms of average depth of tackle in the A gap

(44:30):
by like a half a yard over number two, and
that's because they had CJ. West, a truly dominant force
at defensive tackle, one of the best nose shades in
this entire class. I think he's going to be a
second round pick, and I think he's a dream fit
for Seattle that desperately needs a nose tackle so they
don't have to keep playing Byron Murphy there.

Speaker 1 (44:49):
At fifty three the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Pat fitz.

Speaker 4 (44:52):
Morris, They're going to take Carson Schwessinger, linebacker UCLA. I
think that the Bucks have to come out of this
draft with a young off ball linebacker. Levonte david Is
thirty five. Anthony Walker Junior is going to be going
in news age thirty season, So Schwessinger adds a much
needed injection of youth into the Buccaneers linebacker corps.

Speaker 1 (45:13):
Okay, that brings up the Packers. At fifty four, Debro Europe.

Speaker 3 (45:17):
Pat. I'm trying to learn here, Okay, I'm being happy
about me avoiding D tackle. I'm trying to learn here, baby,
So I'm gonna give the Packers a D tackle here.
See how you feel about Darius Alexander, defensive tackle out
of Toledo, Patty Bullish bull love it.

Speaker 1 (45:34):
All right. That puts the Chargers up at fifty five.
Breck Coleman, back to you.

Speaker 2 (45:38):
This team really needs guard help going into this offseason,
and they happen to have one who's really good available
as Tate Ratledge from Georgia. He's going to be an
immediate plug and play.

Speaker 1 (45:48):
Player for them, all right. Next up, we have the
Buffalo Bills at fifty six. Back to you, Pat.

Speaker 4 (45:54):
They're gonna take Jacob Parrish, cornerback from Kansas State. They
took Nicki Minouri in the first round. They continue to
sprew up the secondary with Jacob Parrish, a top ten
prospect at cornerback.

Speaker 1 (46:04):
Okay, next up at fifty seven, Deebro, that pick belongs
to you. In the Carolina Panthers, I.

Speaker 3 (46:10):
Know Dave Knelis is talking a good game about Xavier
l Get being their wide receiver one of the future.

Speaker 2 (46:15):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (46:16):
Like last year when when Adam Thielen and Jalen Cocher
are out targeting him on a weekly basis. I like
Xavier Leget. I don't think that he's a future number
one wide receiver. But I am going to give them
a guy that I think could be their future wide
receiver one in that building. I'm going to give them
Jalen Noll, wide receiver out of Iowa State.

Speaker 1 (46:34):
All right. So from that earlier trade, the Cincinnati Bengals
are now picking at fifty eight Brett. What do they do?

Speaker 2 (46:40):
I'm gonna go with Omar Norman lot. This team really
needs pass rush help. He is one of the most
efficient interior pass rushers in the last decade in college football.
Like truly a freak of nature as far as rushing
the passer goes. I really can't let him fall any
further than this.

Speaker 1 (46:57):
Okay, So a lot off the board. That puts the
Jibs up at fifty nine now because Baltimore is making
a deal, So Pat, let's walk through the terms here.
Because the New York Giants are moving up to take
who and what are they giving up to Baltimore in
order to get there?

Speaker 4 (47:14):
Yes, the Giants are very busy in this draft, Joe.
They are going to send the So the Giants are
going to take pick fifty nine from the Ravens. They're
also going to get a fifth round pick in twenty
twenty six from the Ravens. The Ravens are going to
get the third and fourth rounders from the Giants, pick
sixty five and one oh five, and the Giants are

(47:36):
going to use this pick to select Jalen Milroe, quarterback Alabama.
He's been waiting in the green room forever, so we
have to we have to let Jalen Milroe off the
hook here. He's gonna get the luxury of sitting for
a year behind Russell Wilson and Jamis Winston.

Speaker 2 (47:51):
He can watch and learn.

Speaker 4 (47:52):
He can watch Jamis Winston and learn what not to
do and how to avoid interceptions. So yeah, yeah, he
is their quarterback of the future. They've got twenty twenty
five covered and no pressure at all on Milroe to
play this year.

Speaker 1 (48:07):
All right, That brings us up to sixty. The Detroit
Lions are up next, Debro, that pick is yours.

Speaker 3 (48:12):
They have a hole at guard they need to fill
with Kevin Zeitler.

Speaker 2 (48:15):
Gone.

Speaker 3 (48:15):
I don't know if the Lions want to walk into
Week one with Christian Mahogany as they're starting right guard.

Speaker 2 (48:20):
So I'm great.

Speaker 3 (48:21):
I am going to give them Marcus Bow offensive guard
at a Purdue Okay.

Speaker 1 (48:25):
Next up at sixty one the Washington Commanders and Brett.

Speaker 2 (48:29):
So right now, the starting edge duo for Washington is
Dorrance Armstrong and Dietrich Weiss, which I think is okay,
but they still need more there to add to the rotation.
So I'm going to go with J. T. Twuomolo Al
from Ohio State.

Speaker 1 (48:42):
Buffalo Bill's at sixty two, Pat fitz Morris.

Speaker 4 (48:45):
They're going to take Nick Scourton the edge from Texas
A and M. Some mocks have Scourton going in the
first round. The Bills get some value on an intriguing
edge guy late in the second.

Speaker 1 (48:56):
At sixty three debro In the Kansas City Chiefs.

Speaker 3 (48:59):
They have tried the Isaiah Pacheco's show, they have tried
Kareem Hunt. They've signed Elijah Mitchell. They're trying this committee
approach to the backfield. I don't think it's gonna work
in twenty twenty five. I'm going to give them a
guy they can lean on. Give twenty touches per week
two and with this team switching more to a run

(49:20):
first approach over the last few seasons, it's giving Caleb
Johnson running.

Speaker 1 (49:23):
Back out of Iowa, Brett, what do you think about
this pick here? If Caleb Johnson makes it all the
way there, certainly would help take a little bit of
pressure off Patrick Mahomes. Maybe a different version of the
Chiefs than we're used to seeing, but certainly one that
makes a lot of sense because this patchwork running back
by committee they've had the last couple of years really
hasn't worked, especially as they've gotten, you know, into some
of these postseason games.

Speaker 2 (49:45):
You know, he's a big back, but he's also a
big back that has like real speed, you know, after
he gets out of that one cut. I think he
is at most at home in a system that prioritizes
outside zone, which the Chiefs don't necessarily prioritize outside zone,
but when they're in Shatka, they do like to run
it quite a bit. I wish they did a little

(50:07):
bit more from under center because the angles are a
little bit more favorable. But that's a whole tangent I'll
go on later. I think Caleb Johnson is a fit
from that perspective, and I think he'd probably be the
best running back on the roster.

Speaker 1 (50:17):
All right. And finally, the Philadelphia Eagles to close out
round two, Brett, the pick belongs to you.

Speaker 2 (50:23):
So I mentioned this guy a little bit earlier, Kevin
Winston Junior. He is my second safety in this class.
I think he is a phenomenal player. A lot of
people were talking about him going into this season as
being a first rounder, and then he partially towards ACL
I believe in the second game of the season was
able to come back and run four or five flat
at his pro day like four months later. So freak athlete,

(50:47):
really big. He's like six two two fifteen. Reminds me
a lot of Derwin James, which makes sense because he
modeled his game after Derwin James. Also, by the way,
never missed a tackle in college football against the run
of the pass. Only had one mistackle and it was
on special teams. So if you want a guy who
can tackle, who's six two two fifteen, an explosive athlete,
and a captain Kevin Winston Junior.

Speaker 1 (51:09):
Well they're gonna need it with all those wide receivers
that the Commanders have. Now, that's for sure a great
draft here, gentlemen. But we love to hear from all
