Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome in everybody to Fantasy Pros. This is the Fantasy
Football Podcast. It is me Joey p joe Pisapia, and
we've got Night two. That's right, Rounds two, rounds three
of the NFL Draft coming at you right now. Of course,
we were live on our YouTube channel, so in case
you missed it, here are the audio best of with
all the picks that you need to know heading into
your fantasy drafts, your dynasty drafts, your startups, your rookie drafts,
(00:23):
and your redrafts because rookies are more important than ever.
Of course, the entire team was with us last night
over at Fantasy Pros on the YouTube channel. You can
go back and watch YouTube dot com slash Fantasy Pros,
and while you're there, subscribe to the channel. We're trying
to get to three hundred thousand this year and we
could do it with your help. So if you don't
have time for all that, make time for this podcast
right now, because it's time for the best of Night two,
(00:46):
which is round two and round three of the twenty
twenty five NFL Draft. The Texans are up next. They
need offensive line help, they need wide receiver help, they
need tons of help here, but they took the guy
that I wanted for the Patriots, the wide receiver Jayden Higgins,
off the board. So Debro is giddy with this selection here,
Owen Daniels making this selection too. Look at Owen Daniels.
(01:08):
I was always just before the show, I was saying,
what's Owen Daniels up to these days? I was just wondering.
Jayden Higgins, one of my favorite wide receivers. I love
this landing spot. Derek Brown, you don't know about what
else there is after Nico Collins right now, and I
think this is a very savvy move. I think he's
a good compliment to Nico Collins. This is exciting to
(01:29):
me from a fantasy perspective.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
Your thoughts, Debro, this is a wonderful, wonderful pick, putting
him and Nico on the outside. Now you let Christian
Kirk play full time slot. I mean, dude, I love
this pick so much because Kirk, we don't know if
he can stay healthy for a full season, even at
this point. And Jayden Higgins, I've said it before, man
like again setting him up in this spot with the
(01:51):
draft capital being a top fifty wide receiver and the
team saying it very loudly.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
We believe in him.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
One of the things I was hoping for Jadenhiggins with
the landing spot and after Christian Kirk departs after this year.
Probably is what we're thinking here. Jadan Higgins could be
a power slot next year, like we're talking about. You
can move him inside, move him outside. You have Nico
to stretch the field, Higgins would be gobbling up targets underneath.
It's a fantastic fit for the two of these guys, and.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
A big ups for C. J. Stroud.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
We needed weapons if this O line pans out and
can actually block bounce back season for Stroud in coming.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
Trade here right now. The Seahawks are now on the
clock at thirty five. We'll get you the details of
that deal in just a moment. So they did just
bring in Darnold. Could they be looking for a quarter
but I don't know. Maybe there's something they like. We'll
find out in a second. They need wide receiver help,
Maybe they Higgins receaver move. Maybe they're starting to panic
about this, especially with the Patriots up next. I hate
the way this is going for the Patriots. My favorite
(02:48):
one's gone. And if Seattle jumps in takes another wide receiver.
I'm going to be very upset here, Russell. Let's get
your take on Jayden and Higgins before we get the
Seahawks pick. Third team AP All Americans, second Team All
Big twelve, right tenth in the FBS with eighty seven receptions.
He had eleven hundred and eighty three yards thirteen point
six per and of course nine receiving touchdowns last year.
(03:09):
So Jayden Higgins, what kind of fittasy for the Houston Texans?
Speaker 4 (03:13):
I agree with Debro.
Speaker 5 (03:14):
I mean, this allows you versatility inside outside, He's gonna
pairwell with Nico Collins. You brought in Christian Kirk. I
really like this pairing, and it's a weapon for CJ. Stroud, right, Like,
you don't know what Tank Dell's going to be coming
back from an injury, if he even comes back from
the injury. But watching Higgins on tape, you see a
guy that's effective with his hands. He can beat press,
(03:34):
he's got enough speed the fifty to fifty balls are there,
and he tracks the ball really well on the outside.
Speaker 4 (03:40):
So I'm a big fan of this pick.
Speaker 5 (03:43):
There was some buzz that maybe he could go in
the first round. The Lions were potentially a team that
will linked to him a little bit through the process.
So I think this is a fine fit right here
with a thirty fourth pick, and obviously we'll see what
Seattle does. That would be really something if they take
like a Jaylen Milroll right before Cleveland at thirty.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
O oh god, if they do. The Cleveland Browns fans
like any even though Jalen Milroe is not a slam dunk,
He's not even.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
Close to medicine you deserve at Cleveland.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
But that would be that would be the worst. And
you know what, being the low key of fantasy that
I am, I'm here for it. I kind of want
to see it now. I mean, now you said it.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
I just want to see the pain.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
I feel like the Jayden Higgins selection where he went
is confirmation of process for yourself and me specifically, because
all through draft season, we did a ton of mocks,
we watched a ton of film. You watched him more
than almost anybody, And yeah, I think it's one of
those things where you look at it and go, we
really love this kid, and we're right on the evaluation
(04:40):
that he went this soon here and went over some
other guys that arguably, and other people's boards are you know,
higher up right and old. You have a burden. So
really interesting situation here. The pick is in for the
Cleveland Browns boys. It's a running back. It's Quinn Shine
jud which I love saying that. So they needed a
(05:03):
running back, Russ. They got a running back. One hundred
and ninety four teens, one thousand yards on the ground,
one hundred and sixty one receiving yards, sixteen touchdowns for Judkins.
So the Nick Chubb era is done in Cleveland. Now
we've moved on. We've got our running back. So all right,
so let's talk about it, Russ.
Speaker 4 (05:22):
Well, I mean they get in front of Las Vegas.
Speaker 5 (05:25):
I mean they've they've had this pick and they take
it in front of Chip Kelly and his offense in
Las Vegas, who's obviously very familiar with Henderson and Judkins.
During his time last season with Ohio State, there's been
a lot of speculation of them having a running back.
I know they took Ashton genty so that doesn't really matter.
But with Judkins, this is a guy that reminds me
so much of Isaiah Pacheco with how he runs. I mean,
(05:46):
he's not as vicious with running on lava like Pachecko does.
But he's patient, he's got good vision, he can press
and has the burst to get through the hole and
through the second level. Consistently runs hard with that choppy
feet like I said, So the sub four or five
speed is there. He can catch passes, he can pick
up some blocks. The techniqu's got to go a little better.
But this is a great fit for a guy that
(06:08):
I think could be a true number one for them
and Deebro.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
They're gonna have to run the football here, I mean, yeah, yeah, look,
I know, great good. Sorry, well, I'm just saying I know.
He loves to throw the football. He's forty years old, though.
You gotta learn to run the football again. So let's
talk about the redraft value of Judkins, because I think
it's gonna be more immediate third team Big All ten Conference.
He led the team, by the way, with one thousand
(06:33):
sixty rushing yards. That was the leading of that team
as well. So what do you think of the Judkins
fit here in Cleveland from a fantasy perspective, especially in redraft?
Like where would you put him? Hop take in your
mind right now? Is he a top fifteen guy, top
twenty guy.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
He's somewhere in RB two land. He's probably gonna go
in third or fourth round to redraft, and I talked
about this like this is one of the reasons why
I didn't think Cleveland was going to go with Trebon
Henderson because they want a guy they can get volume
two and they I mean considering with both.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
To these pigs.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
They sidestep quarterback, so it's Joe Flacco's sisson and they
You're gonna need to give some volume.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
You don't want to.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
Ramp it up with Joe Flacco throwing it forty five
fifty times a game. And that's what you're gonna be
able to do with Judkins. I am not the biggest
Judkins fan. I've made that clear throughout the entire draft process.
But the one thing that you know about Judkins is
you can lead him with a volume he can't handle
and be a workhorse. I think it's just gonna be
really dirty, nasty, eighteen to twenty something carries and behind
(07:29):
that offensive line, I mean they're loading up a defense.
It's gonna be a lot of seventeen to fourteen type
of wins. Hopefully, if you're a Browns fan.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
Oh my god, they're taking a running Oh why oh
beyond Henderson?
Speaker 3 (07:43):
No, okay, why do.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
We continue to spend more capital at the running back position?
Speaker 2 (07:51):
I'm sorry, Joey. Mike Rabel says, no, we're not passing.
We're just gonna run it fifty times every week.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
So I will not.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Be I I rescind that I will not be buying
a Patriots jersey. I'm sorry. And Russ, you traded four
or you traded Drake may away.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
You should feel better.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
About that now because he's still only throwing two Stefan
Diggs and Hunter Henry Joe I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (08:16):
It's all I could say is I'm I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Every year Night two just hurts you. Hurts you, you know,
every year they do something stupid when they.
Speaker 3 (08:27):
Have just your fandom.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
To solve your fandom and find another team because I
don't know why, because the Patriots are gonna be Look,
I'm a Mets fan.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
The Patriots have been my only joy since I was
eight years old, for God's sake. Okay, so I'm not
giving up.
Speaker 3 (08:41):
Something suffering it. No, but it's weird.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Why can't I have both my teams be good at
the same time, like the Mets are good again now
and the Patriots have been absolutely abysmal the last couple
of years. I'm just frustrated because they continuously do the
same thing where they look at this board and they
make weird decisions. Now, look, Remandre, I mean, I think
that's telling you he's toast, right. I think that's the
biggest takeaway for this pick, right Russell, which I'm okay with.
(09:05):
I'm fine with. So what does Strayvon Henderson look like
for the New England Patriots.
Speaker 5 (09:10):
Well, I think this is a very good pass catcher
right away, right, he can make defenders miss after securing
the pass, he drops his pad level through contact. There's
enough speed ran forty times in four point four to
three seconds. He's only two hundred and two pounds though,
so is there any concern for the full three down
level of being able to withstand contact at a consistent
basis in the NFL? Obviously, we'll see he's got some
(09:32):
injury history at broken foot rib injury in twenty twenty
two and twenty twenty three. But there's a lot of
lateral quickness and enough burst and speed to turn the
corner and get up field. So I like this simply because,
as to your point, I think that means kind of
the end of Stevenson. But again, you need a pass
catcher somewhere. Well, maybe this is their idea out of
the back.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Well, look, the pass catching running back format in the
Patriots offense historically is a good one to have, right
So I like Trayvon Henderson. I think he's a good player.
It's just not what I wanted specifically. But I also
feel like they're telling us that their expectations are that
Stefon Diggs is going to be their one. Their expectations
are Stefan Diggs is going to be healthy and close
(10:13):
to the start of the season. Debro, I don't know
if I'm buying that. Look Hunter, Henry Will Campbell, Trayvon Henderson,
Drake may like this is kind of what you're looking
at right now. It's putting a lot of pressure on
Digs to be healthy and good, Debro. That's my only problem.
That's my biggest problem with this pick. It's not that
they took Henderson, because I do think it's time to
look ahead. I like Caleb a little bit more personally.
(10:35):
I just like that kind of style running back. I
like the big boys who are going to run some
people over. But where in terms of the digs information.
I think that's the big takeaway here is the expectation
is he is a number one wide receiver sooner than later?
And is that something we can buy into.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
We could buy into it only because I do think
that Stefan Diggs, considering where he's at in his career,
I think he's not just like a ninety percent perimeter guy.
I think the Houston model worked last year and I
think New England's going to use that with Josh McDaniels.
I think you're going to see Stephan Diggs play primarily
slot wide receiver this year. But my big worry is that, like, okay,
(11:14):
we're we're we got to tackle maybe a guard, but
we got the tackle, and you drafted a running back
right now, Like I love Traveon Henderson, Like don't, don't,
let's not get this twisted.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
He's the RB three for me in this class. I
love Travon Henderson. That makes me feel even better that
he's the r RB three.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
Yeah, but but is that where they needed to go
to surround their young quarterback?
Speaker 1 (11:37):
Like well, okay, it doesn't supports him and it does
give him an outlet and Josh McDaniels offense. I feel like,
now I'm disappointed in myself because now I'm like trying
to talk myself in.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
I feel like you're coping now and.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
I don't want to do that. I'm not gonna do that.
Your Coke still think it's the wrong path. I don't
hate the player. Let's put some pressure on the Bears
for a change. And by the way, Andrew Rickson clearly
is where I am. Jevon Baker season, Yeah, he doesn't
like it either.
Speaker 4 (12:03):
Collins season.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
God, run the ball seventy times a games. Put some
shoes on, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
That's fine. You want to run the ball seventy times
a game and let Drake may make plays when he
has to and play defense. That sounds pretty good to me.
I'm okay with that. RCT got it though. It's Luther
Burden that's the selection here. So a doom'sday DJ or
I mean, but what this is telling me is that
(12:32):
Ben Johnson does not like what he sees. He came
in and said, I like the quarterback and I hate
everything else. So I'm gonna redo it all. So somebody
better come knocking. Hey, Patriots, go knock on the Bear's
door right now. Go get DJ Moore, Go get him.
That would be that would make Joey p very happy.
That's how you save my evening tonight. I'm counting on you, Patriots,
(12:54):
go get DJ Moore. So Luther Burden is the selection here, Russ,
giving you a minute to take this in, drink it in.
Here another one where now he is your third wide receiver,
like a talented kid, some questionable makeup issues there, terrific athlete.
It's funny because the comp they're throwing up on him
is DJ Moore. Well you already got DJ Moore, so
(13:16):
maybe he grows into the one you have already as
a horrible god. If I'm a Bears fan, I want
to bang my head against the wall right now.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
You should.
Speaker 5 (13:23):
Yeah, I mean, I'm not a Bears fan obviously, but
I look at it. I'm rooting for Luther Burden at
the next look.
Speaker 1 (13:30):
I love Isaac, friend of mine, friend of the show.
I'm gonna go scream into the voice. Sorryrupt you, but
that's just very magic.
Speaker 3 (13:37):
You're okay with Ryan Poles these days?
Speaker 5 (13:39):
Yeah, I mean, I'm just I'm rooting for Luthor Burden,
and now he's on the Bear, so I have to
root against him, and I don't want to see him
succeed at all type thing. But for Caleb William's sake,
I mean, you're gonna get a guy that can run
after the catch. You can do so much with that burst.
He can track the football relatively well out of the slot.
But to your point, you already have d But maybe
(14:00):
they're gonna think of moving DJ Moore. So I don't
I don't necessarily know what it's going to be, but
they needed to bring in some pass catchers with Roma
Dunsa and DJ Moore.
Speaker 4 (14:11):
They got Colston Loveland now and now Luther Burden.
Speaker 5 (14:13):
It's it's kind of head scratching, but at the same
time it's weapons.
Speaker 1 (14:16):
So Eric, I think DJ Moore felt like a round
pagan a square hole with the Bears last year. Uh,
And I think you could see him getting moved on
here sooner than later. I don't know if DJ Moore
sticks around this spot. I could even see a world
where they move DJ Moore just bring back Keenan Allen
on a one year deal. Anyway, just because that report
(14:37):
seemed very good, that would not shock me in the slightest.
So let's talk about this. Let's break it down from
a fantasy perspective. Now, clearly from a dynasty perspective, you
like the long term here, but Odonza's already there as well.
So Burden, Adunzay Caleb Williams break that all down for
me from a dynasty perspective. And does Burden have any
appeal for you the way it's structured right now and redraft.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
The way it's structured right now?
Speaker 2 (15:00):
No, no, and any dude, if any I'm telling you
right now, people are going to do their mental hurdles
and backflips. You are going to see it out on
X Luther Burden is going to be Ben Johnson's new
Amaras Saint Brown, And I'm going to tell you that
is the worst possible thing you could tweet right now.
He is not Amana Sam Brown, not even close to it.
(15:22):
The only similarity they have is that both of them
play out of the slot beginning end done. The only
way this makes any sense is if they they're they're
moving DJ Moore right now and they want to construct. Dude, Honestly,
I'm gonna throw this back to you to guys, who
gets traded first? DJ Moore Cole Kmet Can we take
(15:43):
odds on that one? Apparently Ben Johnson came in and
he said, well down, baby, It's.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
Like it's like it's like one of those shows on
HGTV where they go, you know, the bones are good,
and I just want to knock out this wall and
knock out it. Just make one big open, terrible termite,
twelve wide receivers and tight ends the throw to and
not enough offensive lineman and all that. All right? So
the next pick is in and it's a quarterback. Boys
and girls. Uh, it's the Saints and it's Tyler Shuck.
(16:14):
That's the pick, boys and girls, de bro all right,
So we had a baby vomit last night on the
Saints pick. Any dry heaving, you're feeling okay about this
one that you know, nothing disappoints like Night two of
the NFL Draft. I gotta say, it's really it's really something.
Speaker 3 (16:31):
I give up my fandom. I'm not a fan anymore.
I give up. I'm selling all the murder. I'm done.
I'm done. I'll be back in on it.
Speaker 4 (16:41):
What size line jers you want, dude, lion zoo?
Speaker 2 (16:44):
I mean I need a new fan base because I'm
done with the Saints. I'm done with Mickey Loomis. I'm
done with all this, Like.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
Deebro, like Kazoo just for you, I appreciate that.
Speaker 3 (16:54):
Man.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
Just just go ahead and just give me the funeral music,
because I'm done with it. I like Tyler Shuck as
a prospect. I did not like him as starting quarterback
second round pick. I was never like all that steam
picked up and some people were like, oh, he's the
QB one on some boards, and I'm like, well, apparently
your evil department is pretty bad if that's the case.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
But I like the kid and I think he can play.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
But I to take him over, dude, I'm not a
Millrow fan, and I would even take him over.
Speaker 3 (17:25):
I would take mill Row over him just for the developmental.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
Upside, Like like, Tyler Shuck is probably gonna be their
star starting quarterback this year, and I'm.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
No way he starts week one the way, we don't
even know if he's gonna play it right now. With this,
it's not gonna be Derek Carr. It's gonna be Rattler.
Probably that's what you're gonna get.
Speaker 3 (17:43):
I don't care because I give up my fandom.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
I'm done.
Speaker 3 (17:46):
I'm done.
Speaker 1 (17:46):
Well come back.
Speaker 3 (17:47):
I'll come back.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
Whenever they're done all this and Mickey Loomis is gone,
I'll come back. But until then, I'm done.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
What would you have done here? If you were the
New Orleans say, edge corner, offensive line? Where would you
have gone? Wide? Receiver is a huge question mark for
them coming into the season, But I understand if.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
I would have taken Donovan as Araku, I would have
taken an edge. Give yourself apparent to Cam Jordan, Carl
Granderson is solid but not a game changer. I mean,
if we're just gonna throw caution to the wind and
we're gonna build up the team and go get a
quarterback next year, which again everybody that was hoping, because
that's what I kept hearing the Saints are gonna go
for arch Manning next year, blah blah blah.
Speaker 3 (18:22):
Okay, do you think that's gonna happen?
Speaker 2 (18:24):
Now?
Speaker 3 (18:24):
They just spent a second round pick out a quarterback? Okay, Russ,
what do.
Speaker 1 (18:29):
You think is sadder? You like the sad Home Alone
song or on the kazoo, or you like the sad
Titanic song? Whenever Debro said, I play sad music on
the kazoo for him on the live stream.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
From sad or for more meal.
Speaker 5 (18:38):
I liked when you ripped out the Undertaker theme song there.
I thought that was pretty solid.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
Isn't that what you just played?
Speaker 1 (18:43):
No, it was the Titanic song.
Speaker 6 (18:44):
It was Oh.
Speaker 4 (18:44):
I thought you were doing the undertake either way.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
As the boat and that sounds more Star warsy and
if anything, honestly, as the boat is sinking on Derek
Brown's fandom, that's what that is. I feel. Oh goodness,
So what what? What should the Saints have done here?
In your opinion?
Speaker 5 (19:04):
Russ too, I mean I would have gone with Jalen
Milroe if it was me, I would have even probably
considered Shador just simply because of oh, yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
Sorry, I forgot Shador is still on the board, the
fact that they took yeah, I forgot, sorry, I I.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
There for a second.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
He went ahead of Milroe Black yeah, the fact that
Shador is still on the board in Shadordan is not
in New Orleans saying, and it's Tyler's shock again, Mickey.
Speaker 3 (19:31):
Limis, I'm done with you.
Speaker 6 (19:33):
Yeah bye.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
That's amazing to think of Shador's falling this far, like
you know this, this is quite an indictment. Like I
think his his dynasty value is going to be really
destroyed here. Because when this many NFL teams tell you that,
you know, night one tells you nobody loves him. Night
two you don't go early, it tells you nobody likes
you either. That's a problem. Mason Taylor is the pick
(19:57):
for the Jets. Fifty five catches five hundred and forty
six receiving yards. Mason Taylor, I don't call it pick yes,
but I think the Jet fan base, I'm I'm where
Russell was. You have a defensive mind, head coach, I
think again, this is I want some way he's swinging
(20:19):
a miss, but definitely it's like a weak ground ball
to short that maybe gets through the infield. I just
I don't know, man, there's some talent left on this
board and the defensive market and the Jets. I think,
could you've use some help de Bro break this pick
down for me here. I know the two tight ends
when the first round, we don't get that every year,
But man, oh man, is this really the best fit
(20:39):
here for the Jets?
Speaker 2 (20:41):
I mean, I think it's a really good fit to
be honest, man, I mean, this is this my and
my problem with Mason Taylor, this entire process is I
think the conversation around him has been like, oh, there's
a lot of upside and he I don't think there's
a lot of upside with Mason Taylor. But what I
think you're getting out of Mason Taylor is a three
down tight end. He could play every single down. He
can block, he can stretch the seam. I just don't
(21:04):
see the ceiling, the ultimate ceiling with Mason Taylor. And
that's kind of why I leaned. I think I thought
they were gonna go tight end. I leaned Elijah Royo
because I think this the athletic ceiling and which you
can do with him in the offense is better. But
I think with Mason Taylor for this pick, I mean,
I think it's a really solid pick.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
Man.
Speaker 2 (21:21):
They needed a guy that could play all three downs,
and they needed to get another pass catcher. Like, if
you want to give Justin Fields any kind of shot,
this is a really good start. You add the offensive line,
you get him a pass catcher and a guy that
I think that, considering his skill set, can step in
and be your starter from day one.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
It's just a question above side for me. But I
like the pick.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
The comp here from lent zerline is Dallas Goddard. Now
that's funny.
Speaker 3 (21:46):
Because that's high.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
Probably gonna say that's kind of high. But to the
point that you made I think of Dallas Goddard as
a tight end that was solid, not spectacular. I never
looked at Dallas Goddard and say, man, God, better than
that Russ Or where do you fall in this comp there,
Dallas gott He is that too lofty?
Speaker 7 (22:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (22:07):
I think I think so.
Speaker 5 (22:08):
I think Dallas is probably a little bit more productive.
I would have maybe gone with more so like a
Pat Friar youth right, like where you're maybe getting two
three catches a week here and there, and then there's
that big splash, but then the next week he's only
gonna get you one or two catches type of thing.
But I like the pick simply because it was a need.
So you're drafting for need, You're you're building pieces around
(22:31):
justin fields a little bit.
Speaker 4 (22:32):
That's important.
Speaker 5 (22:34):
But at the same time, I just I don't necessarily
know if his upside is as high as a player
like maybe a Harold Fannin or to Deebro's point, Elijah
Royal Russ.
Speaker 3 (22:44):
I'll give you my comp and see what you think. Man.
My comp for him was Jermaine Gresham.
Speaker 7 (22:49):
Oh okay, well, going a little bit in the way
back machine.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
But that's kind of how I see his career arc man,
like an sea skill set, like.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
Yeah, see the company just throw out here too? Is
zach Ertz? And I don't you know, no Arts is
better than him. I think Art is better. I think
Goddard is closer, you know, I think people don't better player.
How good zach Ertz was at his peak. Zuch Ertz
was pretty damn good at his peak.
Speaker 3 (23:14):
I think that's dismissive to Dallas Goddard, to be honest too.
Speaker 1 (23:17):
I mean maybe Dallas Goddard at back end of his career.
It's like the aggression one actually is not bad. Terrence
Ferguson reallys okay, So why do you think that's the
case here? Derek Brown hyper athletic guy, he can get
down the scene. I mean, I think the testing tells
you all you need to know. And I mean, like
(23:37):
I was, I thought he was really athletic. I didn't
know he was that athletic.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
So I mean, to be honest, Joey, I thought the
Rams were live. We got some news yesterday that they
were trying to trade up. They've been doing this the
last few years. They tried to trade up for brock Bowers,
they weren't able to do it. They tried to trade
up in the previous year. This was They've been trying
to do this for the last few years. So I
(24:03):
think the reason they traded back in the first round
is they got really like resounding info that they weren't
gonna be able to get up rather one of those
tight ends.
Speaker 3 (24:10):
So this selection makes a ton of sense.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
Now I'm surprised by the name of Terrence Ferguson, considering
Elijah Royo is on the board, but it's I mean.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
It's the same thing.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
It's athletic tight end that can get down the field
and can offer you something that Tyler Higbee can't. And
he's a free agent after this year, so they can
move on from him. So again the Rams are doing that.
The Rams are crushing it right now.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
Just you know, just trying to drink this all in here.
So Terrence Ferguson's the pick here Higbee, I think we
all know at the stage what Higbee is and what
he isn't.
Speaker 4 (24:41):
Yeah, so the.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
Question is from fancy perspective, Russ, is there anything to
like here with this? Because we kind of know how
things go here in this offense. It's very very clear
funnel and Puka is the very front of it. So
is there anything here left over by the time we
get to Ferguson.
Speaker 5 (24:57):
I think a little bit. Because Stafford has always had
a light for tight ends. I mean, he had Eric
Ebron early in his career. Take it for what it's worth.
I know that's very hit or miss. He had Brandon
Pettigrew to start his career, he had TJ. Hockinson, and
Tyler Higbee was good up until the knee injuries.
Speaker 4 (25:14):
So I think this is a fine fit it.
Speaker 5 (25:16):
To Degro's point, Ferguson is way more athletic than I
thought he was, or he thought he was as well.
But you know, the four six three times is fine.
He's plenty strong in the run game, but you don't
need him to do any of that. When we're talking fantasy.
He's gonna get out in the in the slot in
space and run vertical. So I'm fine with this fit
all day long, and the pro comp that I seen
most frequently with him was Jake Ferguson. So I kind
(25:40):
of like that, and I think, you know, there's limitations,
but at the same time, you're getting a quality tight
end when needed.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
I had Jared Wiley is where I went with dot Com.
Speaker 3 (25:51):
I'll go off the board.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
I mean, dude, I still think that I'm surprised right now,
considering where we're in the draft, that Elijah Royo is
still like out there like I thought walking out of
Mobile he was top forty, top fifty, is kind of player.
We're kind of sitting at that line, so they got
no offen. But Elijah Royo is built different, so I
won't be surprised if they go pass catcher here.
Speaker 3 (26:11):
All right, Well, that is the pick, Debro.
Speaker 8 (26:13):
It is a really Royo tight end out of Miami.
The guy that you know, when I was getting texts
and messages from you during that Senior Bowl week, you
could not stop talking about this guy. You're tweeting all
about him. You've been on. Royo really is your tight end? Three,
I feel like throughout the process here, So do you
like to pick for the Seahawks?
Speaker 3 (26:31):
Do you like to fit.
Speaker 8 (26:32):
And where do you think Arroyo will shake out in
your Dynasty rookie rankings for the tight end position.
Speaker 3 (26:37):
I mean he's he's gonna stay tight end three.
Speaker 9 (26:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (26:40):
I love this fit because Noahfense hasn't really done anything,
man like, he hasn't panned out. I know Seattle traded
for him hoping that you know, you have new life
in this with this team. But Mike McDonald's, like where
he's come from in Baltimore, has seen like what you
can do in the offensive side with an athletic tight
end at Arroyo, I mean, he's gonna offer so much
(27:00):
versatility and I know, like we we joke about it,
like look at Seattle's pass catchers and it's like slot
slot underneath, slot slot underneath. Arroyo is the guy that
could he I'm not saying he's a lidlifter, but he
can stretch the scene, dude, and he is. He changes
the math about how you're gonna have to defend this team.
Speaker 3 (27:18):
I really really like this selection.
Speaker 8 (27:21):
Russ, how do you like Arroyo slotting in here? Do
you think he'll be a three down tight end right away?
And would you take him over Mason Taylor, who just
went earlier here in round two.
Speaker 5 (27:30):
I don't think I would take him over Mason Taylor
just yet because there isn't really any competition for Mason
Taylor quite yet. But when you look at Elijah Royo,
as Debro said, no, no offense is there. And maybe
there's some concerns with the longevity with the Royo because
of the knee injuries that he had suffered in twenty
twenty two and twenty twenty three. Does that flare up
at all. He's got a clean bill of health right now,
(27:52):
so we're fine. I think eventually he can definitely become
that tight end that's starting caliber tight end for Sam
Darnold and the Seahawks offense. There's so much to like
with the way he catches the football away from his frame,
he can extend, he can run after the catches especially. Yeah,
so there's a lot to like with his skill set.
This is a fine fit with this selection, and.
Speaker 2 (28:11):
Just for everybody out there, I want to give a
small sorry Seth, a small little thing of context. I
think he could have tested, but I think he chose
not to not combine that talks about Okay, he was
still dealing with an injury. Did this podium session. He
basically said like if he was having a if it
was game day, he could have played. I think that
was a personal decision about him not testing, and and
(28:32):
I get it because after what he did in Mobile, he.
Speaker 3 (28:34):
Didn't need to.
Speaker 8 (28:36):
When we've seen Sam Darnold work with athletic tight ends.
It worked last year down the stretch with TJ Hawkinson
in Minnesota getting healthy. So hopefully we see continue success
with a Royo, And you know, I think it will
be really fun because it felt like he was kind
of under you know, under the radar for a lot
of the season, and then I remember, I think it
was that Georgia Tech game where they were chasing points,
(28:57):
they were down early, they needed a spark and they
went to a Royo. They found success with him. So
hopefully Sam dartled and the Sea Ausk can continue to
as well. The pick is in here at pick number
fifty five for the Los Angeles Charters.
Speaker 3 (29:09):
You can see Derek.
Speaker 8 (29:11):
Brown's just absolutely excitement here. This is his wide receiver
two in this class. The Charters add another spectacular threat
on the outside or the inside, however they want to play.
Trey Harris out of Ole miss another product of Le
Lane Kiffin System Debro take take.
Speaker 9 (29:28):
Your lap here, man.
Speaker 8 (29:29):
You thought he would get into day two firmly he's
in round two. What are your thoughts on the fit
with our guy Trey Harrison linking up with Justin Herbert
and company out there in the beautiful city of Los Angeles.
Speaker 2 (29:41):
I love love, love, love love this baby. This is
an awesome pick. You match Trey Harris with Jim Harbaugh
and company and this offense tied to Justin Herbert. People
were not putting enough respect on Trey Harris's name in
the process. They're gonna do it. You're gonna see the
compet in the dynasty circles. Now they're gonna say, I
(30:02):
wasn't that high on Trey Harris, but I mean all
the yards per run and the metrics, and now he's
tied to Justin Herbert. We're wheels up, baby, dude. I'm
here for it. I'm so freaking here for it. This
is a wonderful pick for the Los Angeles Chargers, both
with fit style and this guy is a dog like.
(30:23):
If anybody goes just search the receipts in Trey Harris's
quote at the combine, this guy wants to line up
opposite corners and snatch their souls. Tell me that doesn't
line up perfectly with Jim Harball. He is going to
love him. All of the videos you saw previously about
when Lad McConkey was selected and Justin Herbert and him
(30:44):
are gonna be thicke as thieves. Bro Justin Herbert and
Trey Harris are gonna be getting lunch, brunch, breakfast, dinner, snacks, dessert, everything, everything.
Speaker 8 (30:55):
Russ, how do you feel about this pick man? Obviously
coming over from conference? You say, transferring to Ole Miss
and the SEC in twenty twenty three, had a great
career at both programs, was really on pace to set
the SEC on fire. Had over one thousand yards this
past season for the Revs in just eight games played,
and not healthy in all eight of those games. So
(31:17):
do you like Trey Harris as much as my counterpart Debro?
And how do you like the fit with Jim Harbaugh
and company.
Speaker 5 (31:22):
I don't like him as much as Debro does, but
I still love this fit because I thought fit was
the most important thing for Trey Harrison his landing spot
at the next level, as it is for any player,
but specifically him. To maximize his skill set, he had
to go with a competent quarterback, a good quarterback, somebody
they can get him the football. But he also needed
(31:42):
somebody else playing alongside him that can create separation and
take away some defenders so he can win one on
one matchups over the middle of the field vertically, and
I think Harris is going to do that. I compared
him to Juju Smith Schuster, a more explosive version of
Juju six two to two five Juju six one two fifteen,
but they both ran the four five, four forty. So
(32:04):
I'm fine with this one hundred percent. You're getting him
at fifty five. It's a great landing spot. He pairs
so well with Lad McConkie.
Speaker 8 (32:12):
Would you prefer him over the other wide receivers that
have gone here in day two? Do you think Russ
in Dynasty rookie drafts?
Speaker 5 (32:20):
Yeah, I think I would, outside of maybe Jaden Higgins
simply just simply because I think Higgins might be, you know,
getting sixty seventy catches in year one.
Speaker 4 (32:32):
Possibly.
Speaker 8 (32:33):
Okay, Well, it's the Raiders on the clock at pick
number fifty eight, and the picks already in. We're moving
back at a rapid pace. It is Jack Besh out
of TCU for Derek. I know this is somewhere for
you early in the process you fell in love with. Yeah, Yeah,
Round two for your guy, Senior Bowl MVP, A guy
I have a ton of respect for. He went out
(32:54):
there and mobile just less than a month after losing
his brother in the tragic New Orleans Day New Year's
Day attack and put on a show down there for
the Senior Bowl for all the scouts there.
Speaker 7 (33:05):
Is that why you think he is the pick here?
Speaker 9 (33:07):
Is that?
Speaker 8 (33:07):
That plus the tape is what's earning best day? Round
two Draft capital dude.
Speaker 3 (33:13):
I think this is.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
A lot of different things rolled up into one. This
is the Raiders coming in and saying we have to
re establish a winning culture, and you bring Jack Besh in.
He is a tone setter, a locker room guy, just
a culture fit. This is one of the guys that
you can bring in. And I know we're talking about
a rookie here and I'm giving a lot of praise
by culture and walking in. He is a culture setting
(33:39):
type of pick. So this isn't just we need a
wide receiver. I think in multiple levels. Jack Besh is
a home run pick here because it's locker room, it's culture,
and I don't think we've seen the best football to
be played out of Jack Besh yet, as a player
that moved from tight end goes and plays slot wide receiver,
final you'r a tc moves to the perimeter. He showed
(34:01):
even more immobile than when I thought I thought he
had to his game even on the film, so there
are a lot of stylistic comparisons you can make to
his game. I think he's a better, more physical version
of Jacoby Myers, but a guy that could separate. You
can get some inside outside versatility with him, and he
(34:22):
is going to block his ass off in the run game.
Speaker 8 (34:27):
How do you feel about this one, Russ? I mean
everyone coming into this season. I've said it before, but
you could watch TCU games and play a drinking game
with how much the commentators mentioned Savian Williams, But really
Jack Besh is the one who transferred from LSU a
few years ago, comes out sixty two receptions over one
thousand yards and nine scores for him. Do you like
to fit in Las Vegas that, outside of Jacoby Myers
(34:49):
didn't have much at the wide receiver position unless you're
a Trede Tucker guy.
Speaker 6 (34:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (34:53):
I love the fit because he compliments Jacoby Myers and
Brock Bauers really well. Those guys can move laterally and vertically.
This guy's just gonna find space in against zone and
he's gonna get open. He works back to the quarterback.
That's what Gino Smith's gonna need from time to time.
But he makes catches at when he's contested, and he
doesn't drop the football. I mean, he breaks tackles. There's
(35:14):
so much to like. I think his better football is
in front of him. So I love this fit. And
then just real quick on the Lions, pick Tate Ratlice
all day long.
Speaker 4 (35:23):
Sign me up for it.
Speaker 5 (35:24):
That's the fectre over Graham Glasgow.
Speaker 9 (35:27):
Okay, h good call.
Speaker 3 (35:28):
He bro not to put you on the spot.
Speaker 8 (35:30):
But would you rather have Jack Besh or Luther Burden
for the Bears dynasty rookie draft super flex?
Speaker 3 (35:35):
Who are you taking on the clock Besh Besh ten times,
Russ Besh Besh Besh.
Speaker 4 (35:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (35:40):
I think Besh as well because there's just more opportunities
for him to see football and see the field.
Speaker 2 (35:44):
Myers is gone after this year too, he could be
the wide receiver one on this team, or at least
like competing with Rock Powers for the team leading targets
next year.
Speaker 8 (35:53):
Do you have a comp for Jack besh Russ. I've
heard a bunch of different ones. Sometimes there's some lazy
comps out there for this guy.
Speaker 3 (35:59):
A hard player, man.
Speaker 8 (36:00):
Yeah, you do you have one that that you've put
out there?
Speaker 4 (36:03):
I don't.
Speaker 5 (36:04):
I mean, I think the one that I saw early
in the draft process that I kind of like was
Jordy Nelson. Okay, but that's really rich because it's just one.
He's a little bit longer, and I mean, Jordy Nelson
was really good, So like that's setting a really high
bar for him. But I don't really do a lot
of pro comps consistently. It's got to be more about feel.
Speaker 3 (36:27):
For me.
Speaker 2 (36:28):
Mine isn't perfect, but I think underrated tenacity can beat zone,
can beat press. Like not the most like physically wowing player.
The closest I got, dude, and I'm owning this it's
not perfect was Juwan Jennings.
Speaker 9 (36:45):
Mmmm.
Speaker 4 (36:45):
Okay, I could see that.
Speaker 3 (36:48):
It's not perfect, dude.
Speaker 2 (36:49):
He is a He is one of the few players
like him, Jalen Royals, a few other guys that were
almost impossible to comp I'm like, nobody really fits.
Speaker 8 (36:57):
Man at pick number sixty is a running back. It
is not Caleb Johnson, is not Camp Scataboo. It is RJ.
Speaker 3 (37:04):
Harvey out of UCF, Derek, Baby, let's go.
Speaker 8 (37:11):
This was another guy running backs coming out of a
program like this in UCF, where you know, it wasn't
that long ago that they were kind of an after
thought in the G five, right, they come in, they
come into a new conference and have proven themselves quite
a bit here, and a big part of that was
(37:32):
r J.
Speaker 3 (37:32):
Harvey.
Speaker 8 (37:32):
They put up a fight a couple of years ago
against Bama, got Jalen Milroe bench and RJ. Harvey though,
just continued to be that guy, that workhorse running back
for UCF and those nights.
Speaker 3 (37:43):
How do you like that?
Speaker 8 (37:44):
The fit here in Denver, Derek, you gotta be dude, Joyce.
Speaker 3 (37:47):
So freaking lit right now? The chargers, My dudes are
finding homes. Baby, I love it.
Speaker 1 (37:54):
RJ.
Speaker 3 (37:54):
Harvey.
Speaker 2 (37:55):
I'm gonna ask you this before I go on a
ramt here, Seth, are you gonna hear a lot of
people talking about him? Being aged twenty four now that
he's with the Denver Broncos and Dynasty were you.
Speaker 3 (38:04):
Know that was my thing that're gonna say.
Speaker 2 (38:06):
Oh, we don't care now that he's twenty four, baby,
because it's us second round draft capital tied to one
of the most explosive running backs in this entire freaking class. Dude,
he can pass for he can catch passes out of
the backfield. He is going to break all big plays.
I am so freaking lit for this dude.
Speaker 1 (38:29):
RJ.
Speaker 3 (38:29):
Harvey is a fantastic fit for Denver.
Speaker 2 (38:33):
He is going to smash Russ.
Speaker 8 (38:36):
How do you feel about this profile for Harvey because
obviously he had to be high up on Denver's board
to jump some these other running backs that we've been
talking about and for them to be comfortable not going
Omari and Hampton in the first and just kind of hey,
we're gonna wait it out here. We're gonna grab rg Harvey,
not in the third round, not in the fourth round,
but in the second round.
Speaker 3 (38:54):
Pig number sixty overall for Harvey.
Speaker 5 (38:56):
Well, we know Sean Payton's got a sweet spot for
pass catching running back and RJ. Harvey averaged over thirteen
yards per reception in twenty twenty four. He's dangerous in space.
He's got that four to four speed, a little bit
undersized at five eight two h five, but he doesn't
run like it. So he's going to compliment aardrich Estami
very well in that offense. I think he could obviously
(39:18):
be the lead back.
Speaker 6 (39:19):
I like the.
Speaker 5 (39:20):
Patience that he plays with and that the cutting ability,
I think is what separates him compared to any running
back they have in that room.
Speaker 4 (39:28):
So this is a great fit.
Speaker 5 (39:30):
It seems like it might be a little rich to some,
but at the end of the day, when it's producing
and he's doing what he needs to be doing, I
love it.
Speaker 2 (39:37):
My RB five of this class, this is a perfect
perfect fit. Man, Like I don't. I didn't think he
was gonna get second round draft capital. That's why I'm
just I'm cutting backflips right now.
Speaker 7 (39:47):
Man, this is awesome.
Speaker 8 (39:49):
If you had to put a number on the over
under touches per game, Derek, what do you think that RJ.
Harvey is walking in with in his rookie season.
Speaker 3 (39:57):
Fifteen to eighteen? Some of that about three or four
of those?
Speaker 2 (40:01):
Hold on, hold up four of those, like three or
four of those are gonna be probably receptions out of
the backfield. So you're looking at twelve to fourteen carries,
so they're gonna limit. Like Estima is gonna be part
of this. He's gonna take some of like that other
the grinder back kind of stuff. And I wouldn't even
roll out Denver taking a back like way later. Yeah,
kind of pair with that like an o Ali Gordon
(40:22):
or somebody like that that maybe if Estimate is not
up to it to take over like some of the
other volume concerns here. But let's let's not look, let's
not sit here and get a twisted r J. Harvey
is gonna get the money touches, dude.
Speaker 5 (40:35):
I will say this is what everybody thought Camani Videll
was gonna be for the charters last year. Harvey is
going to be that type of production. I know Vadell
went in the sixth round, but this is this guy's gonna,
I think, just take over the back that.
Speaker 2 (40:49):
He's gonna crush and that's how I'm gonna crush, like
in this offense. Yeah, oh man, I'm so excited.
Speaker 8 (40:58):
Well obviously, I just man, he can handle volume. I mean,
he's been top three to twelve and back to back
years in rushing attempts and also has a little bit
of juice and wiggle too. Number one in the conferences
past year in yards per attempt at six point eight
yards per carry.
Speaker 6 (41:12):
So RJ.
Speaker 8 (41:13):
Harvey he's gonna be someone we'reing me looking at, probably
in both redraft and dynasy leagues at this point, Derek, like,
would you be probably shooting? Like, I know this is
probably off the cuss, but are you thinking like top
eight rounds redraft draft capital for RJ.
Speaker 3 (41:25):
Harvey right now?
Speaker 2 (41:27):
Dude, he's gonna go in the third or fourth round.
How is he not going in the No, don't be
honest with me. How is he not gonna go in
the third or fourth round? There is no competition for
him in Denver. He is a central part of the offense.
Second round draft capital, Like, I'm not This is not
me being hyperbolic. This is everything lines up. So people
(41:47):
are gonna have to twist themselves in pretzels to delete
old bet takes about his age and about him being
too small and all that kind of crap, And they're
gonna come correct this time and tell me how he's not.
Speaker 3 (42:00):
Like, I'll throw this back to y'all.
Speaker 1 (42:02):
Tell me how he's not a third or fourth round
pick in redraft this year.
Speaker 3 (42:07):
I mean, usually we do see those.
Speaker 8 (42:09):
We usually do see these rookie running backs get steamed
up to like at least a top forty eight, top
fifty six picks. So you're saying probably in that top
thirty six range. That might be a little rich for me,
But I mean in the situation, I mean, everyone remembers
Rolls Royce and everyone naming their team that a few
years ago, when Royce Freeman was kind of in this
very very same position on a worst Denver Broncos team,
(42:31):
I would say, I.
Speaker 3 (42:32):
Got a really good one for you.
Speaker 6 (42:33):
Boys.
Speaker 2 (42:34):
You're on the clock right now. Who are you taking?
You take an RJ. Harvey, You're taking a mari On Hampton.
Oh And I know, I know there's a difference in
draft capital, but I mean, seriously, who are you taking?
And the pause here and the silence around this means
that that is a real dilemma, and that is a
(42:55):
real decision.
Speaker 8 (42:57):
It's it's tough because Hampton has that competition. Nause Hairris
sitting there right ross.
Speaker 5 (43:01):
Yeah, that's what's holding me up back is like, there's
a lot of mouths to feed, I feel like in
LA and I just don't know if I trust Jim
Harbaugh to give the football to Hampton twenty plus times
a game, where Harvey, like Debro said, might see it
fifteen to twenty times a game.
Speaker 4 (43:18):
So yeah, past game usage too, Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 2 (43:21):
I mean Don Holman's not high on using the running
backs in the passing.
Speaker 3 (43:25):
Game, right, m Sean Payton? What is Oh? That's right,
he does like to give targets. Oh.
Speaker 4 (43:31):
Interesting, I think you're a Broncos fan though.
Speaker 7 (43:35):
That's the jersey, dude, that's the jersey.
Speaker 2 (43:37):
I might be because I'm sure as helling out a
Saints fan anymore.
Speaker 3 (43:40):
Let's ride, Let's ride, baby.
Speaker 7 (43:43):
Let's talk some Dynasty takeaways from Round two while we're
waiting for the pick from the Browns here. I mean
a lot of players that we have talked about in
the previous months. You know, on the Dynasty feed fits
you have been a fan of R. J. Harvey, who
gets second round draft capital going to the Broncos. We
know Deebro loves Trey Harris and that fit on the
Chargers seems pretty excellent. Jack Besh getting second around capital fits.
(44:06):
Is there one name that like, if I limited you
to just one, it's your favorite landing spot so far
for Dynasty.
Speaker 5 (44:14):
R J.
Speaker 6 (44:14):
Harvey was really a good one. I like that one
for him. And you know, I'm not going to go
to the extent that deebro did where he is going
to be debating o'mary and Hampton versus R J. Harvey.
I just thank Hampton's a much better prospect. But I
do like the landing spot a lot for Harvey. And
you know, he was a guy I was certainly going
(44:35):
to be interested in, but maybe less interested if the
landing spot did not give him an opportunity for a
big role. He will have an opportunity for a huge
role I think in Denver.
Speaker 7 (44:45):
Is this enough bogman for Harvey to be a first
round pick in rookie drafts at the back end of
the first round.
Speaker 9 (44:50):
It could be, I want to see where some of
these other running backs land first, but yeah, I mean
the value of him going to Denver, specifically if they
don't take another running back from this class, which I
don't think is out of the question completely here, But
I mean it's such a good landing spot. RPOs with
bone Nicks is basically kJ Jefferson that can throw right
(45:12):
like so bone Nicks running RPOs with R J. Harvey
is dangerous in that backfield. I think that's an excellent
landing spot for him.
Speaker 7 (45:21):
Browns are obviously the team on the clock right now
quin Shawn Judkins going ahead of Traveon Henderson. I think
you can visualize the fit in Cleveland pretty well for Judkins.
Is that a pick where he went and the running
backs he went before? Where he maybe moves up ahead
of Henderson in rookie drafts for you fits.
Speaker 6 (45:42):
I had to move in one spot ahead of Henderson,
and I'm not totally sold on that, and I might
flip flop in the coming days, But as of now,
I mean, doesn't it look like he's going to have
a Nick Chubb roll in the Cleveland offense?
Speaker 7 (45:54):
Feels like it?
Speaker 9 (45:55):
Yeah, how could they not run the ball a million times?
I mean it's Joe Flacco throwing the ball at his
advanced stage for Kenny Pickett. It's not good. So you know,
defense still has a little work to do here in
the draft. So yeah, I mean, let's run the ball
a bunch. I think Judkins is going to have a
heavy workload. Drome Ford's back there still, Nick Chubb, you know,
(46:16):
we'll see, but I think this is a really good
landing spot for Judkins as well. I fits I'm with you.
I really kind of do like Henderson in New England though,
because it gives him a little juice and he's not
a guy that has to carry the ball a million times.
I think him and Stevenson can work pretty well back there.
But I do think I think by the end of
(46:37):
the year, Henderson is your lead back for the Pats.
And I know Stevenson is signed until twenty twenty nine
and all of that, but I don't care. I think
Henderson's a much better back.
Speaker 7 (46:48):
Every conversation we've had about the Patriots this whole off
season is being a bit about how they need to
fix the line. Henderson elite pass protector like that makes
a lot of sense from that regard, let alone the
explosiveness that he very true.
Speaker 6 (47:01):
The funny thing is both guys might have more work
per game as rookies than they had their final season
in college.
Speaker 9 (47:09):
Yes, whoa Harold Fannin to the Browns?
Speaker 7 (47:14):
Oh wow?
Speaker 9 (47:17):
Interesting?
Speaker 7 (47:18):
All right, you're at your streams either. You saw that
on Twitter, or you're a couple of picks ahead of
me on the street.
Speaker 9 (47:24):
I think I'm just a.
Speaker 6 (47:27):
Look at those numbers, man, look at those numbers. He
was the offense.
Speaker 7 (47:33):
Huge production. Is putting it mildly on the scouting report.
I mean, so with this landing spot, Bogman, where is
sea fall in kind of the rookie tin and packing.
Obviously a lot of guys went in the second round.
You know, very early on in the process, you know,
people thought about Fannin is maybe even a little like
closer to those top two than to the rest of
(47:53):
the pack. That clearly is not the case now after
going through the process. But where does he fall for
you in Cleveland?
Speaker 9 (48:00):
I guess my question about that landing spot is what
does he play? Because you still have in Djoku right
at tight end, at your traditional tight end, Judy plays
a lot in the slot. I guess maybe you move
Judy back out and he's your big slot. I mean,
he's gonna have a lot of he should have a
lot of targets. The passers aren't that great. This is
(48:22):
a run first team with Stefanski there. It's not my
favorite landing spot, but I mean they need pass catchers,
so it fits for that. I don't know how much
I love this though fits.
Speaker 7 (48:34):
I know that there's gonna be a whole lot of
rankings moving, you know, in the coming weeks and months
for you, But as of right now, to shooting from
the hip, Fannon feels like rookie tight end.
Speaker 6 (48:43):
What to you, I've got him rookie tight end five
behind Loveland, who is past Warren?
Speaker 3 (48:49):
For me?
Speaker 6 (48:51):
Warren is number two, Mason Taylor's three, Elijah Arroyo is
number four, and Fannon is five. I know Terrence Ferguson
went ahead of fannin I just like Fan and more,
even though it's not an ideal landing spot. And uh,
I don't know if they're gonna play a lot of
twelve personnel. They haven't. They haven't drafted a receiver yet,
have they the Browns, so they're still a little light there.
Speaker 7 (49:12):
No, they they traded away the best receiver in the draft.
Speaker 6 (49:16):
Right right, So yeah, maybe maybe they run a lot
of twelve with the uh with the Browns. But Flacco
does love him some tight ends, so.
Speaker 7 (49:26):
Oh he does.
Speaker 6 (49:27):
Yeah, I'm not totally discouraged by this landing spot, but
it's not the best possible place for him to.
Speaker 7 (49:35):
Go fits what has been going through your mind like
shoot or specific because we have had conversations again on
the Dynasty feed where you have had liked sheet or
better than can't Ward for large chunks of the process,
and it became clear that word is gonna be the
first pick.
Speaker 6 (49:50):
A while ago.
Speaker 7 (49:52):
But to see shoo Or fall this much, given that
I know you really liked him, what's been going through
your minds.
Speaker 6 (49:57):
Just that there's a lot of baggage. Not only do
people maybe not love the personality of Shadoor Sanders, but
the I think Dianna is an albatross farm and just
you know, like if you're the brass for the team
that takes Shaduur, knowing that you maybe have to like
play Kate dian dian Or He's going to be firing
(50:19):
on you through the media. It's just an uncomfortable situation
for Shador's transition in the NFL, and it's making for
an awkward situation for me with my rankings because I
firmly believe that Shaduur Sanders is a better player than
Jackson Dart. I don't care what the draft capital says.
I think Shadour is a better quarterback, and no one's
(50:40):
going to change my mind on that. But how far
does Shadur have to fall before I'm forced to put
Jackson Dart ahead of him in my rankings.
Speaker 7 (50:47):
I think we've already reached that point, Like, irrespective of
your evaluation, you can't take a quarterback who's in the
round three or later.
Speaker 3 (50:58):
Possibly.
Speaker 7 (50:58):
I mean, we'll see if he even goes. While we're
talking compared to the guy who went in the first round.
Speaker 6 (51:04):
What if the Steelers get him in round three? Worm
that I still want him more than Tart.
Speaker 7 (51:09):
I feel like if the Steelers take him in round three,
like they've already passed up on him in round one,
I just feel like they are telling us that they
don't think he's a starting quarterback. If you don't go
in the first round, the NFL is telling us that
they don't think you have that upside, right.
Speaker 6 (51:29):
I guess. Or they're just saying they don't want to
deal with a headache.
Speaker 7 (51:32):
I mean, I mean, I could be wrong, but that's
how I view it. Like with quarterback, like for example,
and I know Mayor is going to be excited because I
like Spencer Rattler when he came out, and then when
he went in the fifth round, it was okay, Like
you could see the case for him getting an opportunity
in New Orleans if Derek Carr is really bad. But
the fact that he and you're not saying fifth round, right,
you're saying third round, which I know is different, but
(51:54):
I just see it's like if it's first round or not,
especially when you're talking about comparing him to a quarterback
who did get first round draft capital. If you were saying,
like how far does you have to fall to rank
schidor behind Tyler Shook, that's different to me because they
are both not first round guys. Bobbin, what do you
think about this?
Speaker 9 (52:10):
I mean, I still think it does matter where Shadoor
lands because if he goes to if Vegas trades back in,
or if he goes to Pittsburgh, I do think he
has a better shot at starting quicker than you know,
if Buffalo takes more, you know who else, Dallas maybe
takes him. He's sitting for a while.
Speaker 7 (52:32):
Do you think he's gonna go in this round? Do
you like he's not think he's gonna be still? I mean,
I would have to think he would but I mean
at this point, who knows.
Speaker 9 (52:40):
Yeah, I think someone would trade back into the end
of the third. I think it's easy to move up there.
So I think that he goes today because somebody trades
back in. If he doesn't go to Pittsburgh at that pick,
I would still rather have a running back, but they
got to get a they got to get a quarterback
at some point. It's Mason Rudolphin Skyler Thompson on the
roster right now, so but I still prefer Milroe. Kyle
(53:03):
Williams just went to the Patriots ahead of Jalen Knowle.
Jalen that surprised me. I really like nol I I
was gonna ask you guys about that one.
Speaker 6 (53:12):
Uh.
Speaker 9 (53:12):
I mean I like the fit in New England because
who in Isaac Tesla to the Lions?
Speaker 7 (53:18):
Lions straight up here?
Speaker 6 (53:19):
Yeah, I definitely for Tesla. That is fascinating.
Speaker 9 (53:25):
That is that. Wow. I love Tesla. I cannot believe.
And when the third ahead of Jalen Knowle, big physical
wide receiver, I do wonder what his role is going
to be. Obviously they have a lot of talent in Detroit,
so he's not gonna have to start immediately or anything.
But have we.
Speaker 7 (53:45):
Even taken Tesla in our like rookie, I don't we
have a saying his name.
Speaker 6 (53:51):
The funny thing is, Bogs, you're shouting out uh Tesla
and and you've never been, to my knowledge of big
Alec Pearce fan and I feel like Tesla's of a
and Alec Pierce clone.
Speaker 9 (54:01):
Hey, look, Alec Pierce proved me wrong last year. He
beat out my guy Ad and I Mitchell for that
job and he was awesome. You need the right type
of quarterback that can throw the deep ball. GoF can
throw deep ball. So I kind of like this landing spot.
I think they gave up two thirds.
Speaker 8 (54:18):
Wow.
Speaker 9 (54:19):
Wow, they must really like him. That is surprising.
Speaker 7 (54:23):
That is a that is really aggressive. I mean the
Lions have done this before where they make a very
surprising move and it ends up looking pretty okay. I
don't want the surprise of that to move past Kyle Williams.
How do we see him fitting because there's certainly an
opportunity to catch passes in New England fits.
Speaker 6 (54:38):
Yes, there is, And you know, like I am surprised
that he went ahead of Jalen Nol considering I think
Kyle Williams is somewhat overaged, isn't he almost like twenty three?
But really smooth mover quick, kind of a smaller short
area receiver, like not big guy, but man like. He
(55:01):
is really quick and good at getting open and uh
pretty dangerous after the catch too. So I understand the appeal.
Speaker 9 (55:10):
I just.
Speaker 6 (55:11):
I don't know, maybe if the Patriots pair him with
a larger receiver later on in eye a manner or
a who else bogs of the bigger savvy An Williams
isn't really uh even well type. Felton's a little skinny,
but yeah.
Speaker 9 (55:29):
Pat Bryan or big those are guys. Jalen Royals is
long Royals.
Speaker 7 (55:34):
Uh.
Speaker 9 (55:34):
So I think I like this pick for them because
it gives them juice. They need speed more than anything.
I feel like they had no speed in the Brady era.
It was always the slow white guys across the middle
that the Steelers could never cover.
Speaker 7 (55:47):
You know, Wes Wells Anderson. Of course, Henderson and.
Speaker 9 (55:50):
Kyle Williams just bring a little juice to this offense.
I feel like that's why they took Kyle Williams. They
just want this speed here.
Speaker 7 (55:58):
Personally, I feel like if Theians are going to trade
up for receiver. It should have been type Felton.
Speaker 9 (56:03):
But that's wow. I'm super surprised. Yet.
Speaker 6 (56:06):
Let me ask you guys this, Now that Williams and
Tesla have gotten this sort of draft capital, how do
you feel about them? Visa v maybe some other rookie
receiver prospects you like who haven't been drafted yet, like Boggs.
How about with you and Isaiah Bond. Do those guys
now jump Isaiah Bond for you or.
Speaker 9 (56:26):
Not quite yet? I want to see how far down
Isaiah Bond falls. He may fall too far because of
this allegation right before the draft, but you, I mean,
you could also be in jail at some point, so
he's a dicey pick right now. I still think the
talent is there, so I think Bond is one of
the few I probably wouldn't but I mean, I don't know, Like,
(56:50):
tell me about Tesla versus Pat Bryant, FITZI. I kind
of like Pat Bryant more the motors there, but he's
definitely not as athletic as Tesla.
Speaker 6 (56:59):
I got I gotta keep. I gotta put these guys over.
Pat Bryant Now, I am is the one for me
since I'm kind of an I am in or fan,
But right right now, I'm if I am in Or
slides to day three, I probably have to slide them below.
Definitely Kyle Williams and maybe Tesla too.
Speaker 7 (57:18):
Where does Shook fall for you guys in a super
flex rookie draft?
Speaker 9 (57:21):
At this point, I still don't like him that much.
I thought that was a weird pick by the Saints.
He's an older prospect, He's hurt all the time in college,
and I mean I was trying to do this earlier.
Give me, give me the number of starts for these
quarterbacks in New Orleans this year? Fits he like between Shook,
Rattler and Hainer. Who gets how many starts?
Speaker 6 (57:45):
Well, we can't assume the card doesn't play at all.
Speaker 9 (57:50):
I would I don't think. I don't think he's gonna
be on this team by week one.
Speaker 6 (57:55):
Wow, man, if it's split up that way, I'm probably
betting Shuck to make the most start. He is older,
They're not gonna They're not gonna develop him for a
long time.
Speaker 9 (58:09):
I think car Yeah, he's twenty five, isn't he. I
think Carr doesn't want to play for the Saints anymore.
I think that's the deal. So I think this injury.
I think he had an injury and he's gonna be like,
I just have my surgery. Now it's gonna have to
play for you guys. And uh so I don't think
he plays at all. So I think it's gonna be
shook for most rattler to start, Like, what does Ratley
(58:30):
get five or six before they pulled the rug out
from under him.
Speaker 6 (58:33):
We have a Texas guy, Bogs.
Speaker 7 (58:35):
I was waiting for you to stop your you know,
talking and my gammering.
Speaker 9 (58:41):
Yeah, he of course another Texas guy goes uh again.
This is why I like Scataboo so much. I watched
him run over all these guys that are all pros
now so Vernon brought in another good run stuffing defensive tackle.
This is exactly what they need. Oh that's a good
pick for Buffalo too. We got some good defensive linemen
(59:02):
falling into the third round here. Yeah. I just I
don't know about shook. I just I thought it was
a weird pick. And I think, if you're the Saints
and you're miserable again this year, and you have a
bad record, which we kind of expect at this point, right,
You're gonna be in the Leonora's cellars and Nussmeyer and
if Arch comes out, you might be in that as well.
(59:25):
And you took Shook in the second round.
Speaker 7 (59:28):
I was, by the way, I just want to take

Rookie Draft Simulator to dominate your rookie draft today at
fantasypros dot com Slash Simulator. I want to go to
some that happen on day one fits. Amarion Hampton has
been somebody that you have really liked this entire process.
He goes to the Chargers. Obviously the long term fit
(01:00:11):
when you just think of Greg Roman and Jim Harbaugh
and the backfield long term seems really nice for your one.
There is Nagie Harris, and there is a concern in
my opinion about the interior offensive line in Los Angeles. So,
when you are evaluating o'mary and Hampton now that we
know the landing spot fits, is he still like that
clear cut fourth player off the board in a super
(01:00:31):
flex rookie draft for you? Or are you thinking about
him a little differently with the landing spot.
Speaker 6 (01:00:37):
No, I still really like him, and I would consider
him as high as too if I needed running back help.
I'm not necessarily taking cam mord ahead of him, and
I think it's a pretty interesting debate between o'mary and
Hampton and tedor Roll McMillan. So yeah, I'm not worried
about the inside of the line, like they've got. Their
(01:00:58):
tackles are great. You know, I don't think it's a
I don't view their offensive line as a negative for
the overall overall fantasy profile of Omarian Hampton, and I
think it's going to be probably a sixty to forty
split with Hampton and Naji. Does that sound right to
you guys.
Speaker 9 (01:01:20):
For a little bit? But Nase sucks. I'll say what
you don't want to say, uh, FITZI like Nase is fine.
He can run straight forward. The best part about Nase
is that he has staying power he is. He is
not tired in the third quarter, He's not tired in
the fourth quarter. He has stamina. So when your defense
(01:01:40):
is sucking win in the third and fourth quarter, he's
still running like he was in the first, which is great.
But if he's running in the back of offensive lineman
like he has been wont to do on occasion, he
just has no vision. He's almost Trent richardson two point zero.
So I just think Hampton is such a better back
that it's not going to be long until that sixty
(01:02:01):
forty starts going to seventy thirty and then Na she's
just not getting anything. I think it kind of stinks
to Naji's long term value too, because if he loses
carries to the rookie this season, who is signing him
next year to play any snaps that matter? Right? So yeah,
I think I'm getting out of the nause business right
(01:02:22):
now if I can't.
Speaker 7 (01:02:24):
Yeah, Bryan to Denver.
Speaker 9 (01:02:27):
Wow, I like this fit for Denver. They I think
they need a slot too, but I guess they like
Marvin Mims there. But another like a first down machine
motor motor motor, motor motor for Pat Bryant. He and
he is a great run blocker. That's a good fit
for the Denver offense. Very good fit.
Speaker 6 (01:02:47):
Yeah, I'm just I'm shocked considering that they do need
a slot guy to take him ahead of Noel.
Speaker 7 (01:02:54):
Would you guys say, in general this has been a
positive draft or landing spots and guys that we're excited
about in Dynasty drafts, or in general, has it been
more negative than positive? I mean, I feel like it's
largely been positive, but there have been a few, like
you know, guy like Noel falling and maybe losing some
(01:03:16):
value or a couple you know, like I think a
lot of people would have preferred Henderson to Chicago rather
than New England. In general, though, Boggs, would you say
it's been more positive or negative for Dynasty managers?
Speaker 9 (01:03:29):
I think it hasn't been as positive as we wanted
it to be. Looking at all the potential landing spots
right for these guys, and oh man, this fits too
perfect here, this fits too perfect here, and that didn't happen,
Like I hate that Chicago keeps taking skill position. What
are you doing? Like, uh, you take Luther Burden and
Coolson Lovelin like you're burying some of these guys, or
(01:03:51):
you're bearing Rome, who was amazing.
Speaker 7 (01:03:53):
I love it for real life and for Kleb, but.
Speaker 9 (01:03:56):
Yeah, Taylor amazing.
Speaker 7 (01:03:57):
Fantasy for those guys, I don't I don't know how,
like even just taking like in redraft, I don't know
how you can confidently draft any of them. I mean,
it's just going to be such a question mark where
the targets are gonna go.
Speaker 9 (01:04:10):
Yeah, So I don't know. I think I think a
lot of these picks are fine, but I would say
it's pretty even like McMillan going to Carolina has been
that's I love that fit because they have no defense.
They're gonna have to beat everybody point for point. He's
gonna catch eight catches in the fourth quarter of every game.
Speaker 7 (01:04:28):
Another McMillan that we liked last year, A big loser
of Uka going to Tampa.
Speaker 9 (01:04:34):
Yeah, because it ain't Eggbuka and it ain't Godwin or Evans,
so it has to be McMillan just pushed off to
the side.
Speaker 6 (01:04:42):
Yeah, who is going to play the slot there? Like,
who's going to be the primary slot receivers at Godwin
because they sort of tried Godwin outside a couple of
years ago, and it didn't really he wasn't Chris Godwin.
Speaker 9 (01:04:56):
I think it's still going to be Chris Godwin. But
did they take Agguca because Godwin isn't recovering fast enough? Right?
Speaker 5 (01:05:02):
Like?
Speaker 9 (01:05:03):
I don't think that's the case when you take a
guy in the first round may have added to why
they like him. So how healthy is Chris Godwin? I
think that's a decent first point, but I do I
think ed Buka has just so much juice that he
can play anywhere. He's pushed more to the slot, you
know over the last three years that he was eighty
one point something percent in the slot last year, but
(01:05:27):
he can play outside if needed, and he can take
the top off the defense. By the way, thank you, Sethy.
I appreciate that our boy, Seth Wolcock says Bogwin's ran
about nause He deserves the sports Emmy.
Speaker 6 (01:05:38):
Thank you're you're thanking him and you're not thanking Borg
cow in our audience for saying that we got a
handsome this upgrade with the three of us.
Speaker 9 (01:05:48):
Over oh Borg, thank you and Randy shouting out, I
TL love appreciate you guys, thank you. Who is this
from the Niners?
Speaker 1 (01:05:58):
Here.
Speaker 6 (01:06:00):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (01:06:00):
I wasn't going to acknowledge any comments from Seth because
he mispronounced my name when handing it off to me
for this.
Speaker 9 (01:06:06):
Oh, he just frenched it up a little bit for you,
a warm Elly.
Speaker 7 (01:06:10):
He did. He did apologize, so I'll let him off
the hook. Uh. People always think I'm Italian and they're like,
we're Melly, We're Melley Norwegian.
Speaker 9 (01:06:20):
How about Jalen Nole back with Jayden Higgins in Houston?
I think that wouldn't be a bad pick. Are they
giving Mechi another shot? I guess would be a question there.
Speaker 6 (01:06:31):
Yeah, Worm, I believe we have a super chat.
Speaker 7 (01:06:33):
I know I was about I was waiting for Bagman
to stop talking like sorright? Uh we got chat from Wesley.
Speaker 6 (01:06:41):
Uh.
Speaker 7 (01:06:41):
Where did you all put Sanders surprise or not? I mean,
definitely surprise so far fits. Where did you have him
going heading into the draft?
Speaker 6 (01:06:55):
I didn't, So I didn't mock Shadur in the first round.
I kind of thought he would fall out of it
and yeah, but like I didn't really have him pegged
for a team. I figured the most likely possibilities, I
guess were Steelers or you know, I had heard the
Saints didn't like him, So Steelers, maybe Browns, maybe Giants.
Speaker 9 (01:07:19):
Yeah, I mean Vegas also, I thought Vegas would be
a good spot for him. I think Vegas would be
perfect for him.
Speaker 6 (01:07:27):
The Texans gotten old, didn't they get.
Speaker 9 (01:07:32):
That's what I just said, I was taking guy.
Speaker 7 (01:07:37):
Yeah, yeah, I mean Stroud.
Speaker 9 (01:07:41):
Yeah, Stroud is getting him some weapons today. Higgins and
Nol that's they made rock Obeck look good and make C. J. Stroud.
Speaker 6 (01:07:51):
Yeah. I guess, uh, I guess I'm I can release
John MATCHI in the one dynasty league where I'm holding
onto him.
Speaker 7 (01:07:58):
Do you guys have a preference between to an obviously
draft capital stronger for Higgins, but they're on the same team,
different types of players. Will you be more interested in
one over the other in rookie drafts?
Speaker 6 (01:08:09):
Well, I don't know, Bogs. The Texans already have a
power forward wide receiver. He's pretty good. Yeah, that's that's
my concern. You know, if if.
Speaker 9 (01:08:22):
You think Christian Kirk so, I mean, I don't what
is Kirk have left? Who knows? But they traded for him,
so they still must like him. By the way, the
Colts could take a running back here. They need somebody behind.
What if the Texans give up for Kirk. I don't
think it was anything I can't remember.
Speaker 7 (01:08:42):
Yeah, I mean like because of this, like I can't
imagine he's going to be ahead of any of the
I always say guys obviously or Nico on the depth chart.
Speaker 6 (01:08:53):
Wow, there it is.
Speaker 7 (01:08:55):
That is again, Yeah, passing up on the quarterback once again.
We know we know Bogman would have been happy with
either Shood or or preferably Jalen Milroe. For Bogman doesn't
get any of them, but he does get Caleb Johnson
to Pittsburgh seems like a pretty good fit for fantasy
purposes fits.
Speaker 6 (01:09:14):
I think, so he kind of goes into the nausey
role and you've got the thunder and lightning with Warren
and now with Caleb Johnson. So yeah, I think it's
they're complimentary backs, and we know the Steelers are going
to want to do business on the ground, So I
think this is a really good landing spot. And you know,
I'm sure some people who were Caleb Johnson enthusiasts were
(01:09:37):
a little nervous that he slipt this far, but like,
I don't think it should hurt his dynasty. Stock that much. Yeah,
that he went to you know, a good team, a
good home in round three as opposed to going somewhere
around two. I'm not worried about it.
Speaker 7 (01:09:51):
Russell, where did you have Caleb Johnson amongst running backs?
Because obviously we know liked Brow was very high on him.
Other folks maybe had him more in like the RB
five range. Guys out there might have even been a
little bit lower. Where was he for you at this position?
Speaker 5 (01:10:04):
RB two for me forty fourth overall player. I was
really impressed with his game. I talked about a little
bit earlier, just the decisiveness, the patience. I thought he
had really good burst through the hole and in the
open field. So I like this fit in this offense
because of Arthur Smith and wanting to run the ball.
And to Pat's point, I think he really compliments Jalen
(01:10:26):
Warren really well. So I think that this this just
goes hand in hand with who the Pittsburgh Steelers are.
This is a really good back and I can see
him being the lead back down the.
Speaker 10 (01:10:36):
Road for sure.
Speaker 7 (01:10:37):
Yeah, Bogman excited, getting his bits happy.
Speaker 6 (01:10:40):
He is happy.
Speaker 5 (01:10:41):
I'm not going to spoil it for you, I know,
I just saw it fits.
Speaker 10 (01:10:46):
We were just talking about.
Speaker 6 (01:10:47):
It, Savvy On Williams.
Speaker 3 (01:10:49):
I'm not.
Speaker 5 (01:10:51):
Goodness, Well, if there's a right spot, this is the
spot I think interesting.
Speaker 6 (01:10:59):
I mean, he is a a unique weapon. I don't
hate the landing spot for I mean, I don't like
the pick for the Packers really, but I don't hate
the landing spot for save On Williams. As far as
fantasy potential, yeah, you know this is he's going to
a coach that knows what to do with him. But
(01:11:19):
I know friend of the show Matt Waldman thinks maybe
Savvion's destiny was to be a running back yere than
a wide receiver. How do you feel about that, Russell?
Speaker 5 (01:11:30):
I don't know if consistently aligning out of the backfield
at six foot four is a wise choice, you know,
to give him carries consistently, But I definitely think you
can sprinkle it in and I think going to Matt
Lafleur is the perfect spot to be sprinkled in like that,
so he can be used in a variety of ways.
They love to come out in that pony personnel with
(01:11:50):
the two running backs. You can put him in the
backfield with Josh Jacobs, or Marshawn Lloyd and the versatility
is going to go a long way. But at six',
FOUR i, mean if there was any question of them
not having maybe a TRUE x, receiver this might be your.
Guy and it allows you to Move Christian watson around
a little.
Speaker 6 (01:12:07):
Bit, yeah he is a freak. ATHLETE i mean just
watching him with the ball in his, HAND i mean
he will hurdle, guys he will stiff arm guys to
the ground like he is a fun.
Speaker 10 (01:12:17):
Watch, yeah and the burst is legit.
Speaker 7 (01:12:19):
Too so let me ask you this. Fits who are
the receivers that you cannot draft in fantasy this year
out Of Green bay? Now because there's just so many,
Names like obviously they can't all, contribute and we're the
guys at the bottom of the.
Speaker 6 (01:12:31):
LIST i feel, like other than Maybe jaden red they
are all double digit round draft. Picks because this is
going to be a true, COMMITTEE i don't know if
there's going to.
Speaker 7 (01:12:41):
Be do you think in the double digit rounds as
a first.
Speaker 6 (01:12:45):
Round, receiver, YEAH i Think Jaden reid is the only
one with a better than fifty to fifty shot to
get eight hundred receiving.
Speaker 5 (01:12:51):
Yards, Okay, YEAH i feel Like romeo is kind of
on the way. Out that's kind of what this feels,
like you know WHAT i, Mean like maybe that might
be a guy they try to move.
Speaker 6 (01:13:01):
T Bro i'm, Sorry, fitz it is a bad draft
For Green. BAY i do not dispute that at.
Speaker 7 (01:13:09):
All what a year for having a bad. Draft you
get to host and all this excitement and, man.
Speaker 6 (01:13:18):
YEAH i, Know i'm not quite sure what they're. Doing
they're just declining to add on. Defense so and then.
Speaker 10 (01:13:24):
A corner goes right After.
Speaker 7 (01:13:27):
Yeah Cayleb ran though to The, jags.
Speaker 6 (01:13:30):
We got all. Interesting, WOW.
Speaker 1 (01:13:36):
I love.
Speaker 7 (01:13:36):
It mike McDonald obviously not a different side of the,
ball but Coaching baltimore With lamar so you know he
understands the value of a quarterback who has superpower level
a running. Ability we Know bogman is a big fan of.
Him obviously he can take some necessary time to develop
With darnold, THERE i don't know how many years they
(01:13:59):
would have that be the. SETUP i, mean The Green
bay obviously very willing to have guys that for multiple.
Years usually you see other teams maybe only want to
max out of one of those years that they're kind
of thrown. Away but clearly.
Speaker 6 (01:14:12):
Talented, yeah and, uh like we don't know if If
donald has staying. Power let's be honest about.
Speaker 7 (01:14:19):
THAT i think we do, know and it's that he.
Speaker 6 (01:14:21):
Doesn't, YEAH i mean like. That things kind of crumbled
a little bit down the stretch For donald with The
vikings last, year and it was like the, uh the
carriage kind of turned into a pumpkin on us late
in the. Year so wouldn't be surprised if this apprenticeship
didn't last all that long Before milroe actually saw some playing. Time,
(01:14:45):
yes how do you think about?
Speaker 5 (01:14:46):
THIS i love, it, MAN i think this is the
ideal landing spot for. Him it was evident last year
that The lions Broke Sam donald in The Minnesota, vikings
WHICH i think we can all agree was great to.
See But Jalen milroe can come in and sit Behind
darnald In. Seattle but, furthermore you can package him day
one if you need. To in the red, zone short.
(01:15:08):
Yardage he's a weapon with the football in his, hands,
Man so you don't need to go out there and
throw the football thirty forty times a. Game he can
run the football, five, six seven times for, you maybe
even a little bit more if, needed and pairing that
up With Kenneth WALKER i think would be. Great but
again he needs, time ball, placement throwing with more, touch
(01:15:30):
all of that needs to.
Speaker 10 (01:15:31):
Happen AND i Think milroe.
Speaker 5 (01:15:32):
Can sit for a, year maybe, two and once you
kind of figure out maybe overpaid a little bit For Sam.
DARNALD i get, it the going rate for. Quarterbacks but
this is. Fine this buys you some time For. MILROE
i love.
Speaker 9 (01:15:45):
It.
Speaker 6 (01:15:45):
Yeah can we highlight The bogman comment worm Finally? Milroe, no, no,
no the Other. Yeah so the reference of course To Matt,
flynn WHO i think he earned big money From. Seattle
AM i Mistaken? Russell wasn't that based on a huge
game against your lions in a final regular season regular
(01:16:07):
season finale Towns, yeah almost like five hundred yards and
goes To seattle and never starts the game because they
Draft Russell wilson and fell in love with him right. Away,
yeah that would be interesting that if that pattern held
true In seattle yet again With darnold never starting a.
GAME i don't think that's gonna happen this time. AROUND
(01:16:29):
i don't Think Jalen milroe is quite as refined As
Russell wilson was coming out Of. Wisconsin but, yeah this
is an interesting pick for, sure AND i think it
is going TO i don't, know kindle a little bit
of interest In milroe in dynasty rookie, drafts, worm don't
you think do you think he's a second rounder maybe
(01:16:49):
a late second rounder in a super flex.
Speaker 7 (01:16:51):
League, well you just said when we were talking about
a guy for The, rams like if you know you're
getting the red shirt year kind of moves him. Down.
Speaker 6 (01:17:00):
Man the running ability though now is pretty.
Speaker 7 (01:17:03):
ATTRACTIVE i think he will go in the back half
of the second. ROUND i got they're all in a super.
Flex there will BE qb needy teams who will see the.
Upside they'll say he got day two, capital which is
better you, know you, know than it would have been
if the day, three, right so you can you, know
try and justify, it and then obviously the legs justify, themselves.
Right so What mayor is saying is that because we've
(01:17:26):
Also Dylan gabriel is the.
Speaker 6 (01:17:28):
Pick oh my, GOODNESS i have not seen.
Speaker 7 (01:17:31):
It like officially confirmed by him us all these but
oh my, gosh.
Speaker 5 (01:17:37):
They traded For Kenny pickett and then they just Drafted Kenny.
Speaker 7 (01:17:40):
Pickett he says it's, True mary saying it. Is Dylan gabriel.
Speaker 6 (01:17:45):
Add Dylan gabriel to the.
Speaker 7 (01:17:47):
Mix Oh, Like i'm, Like i'm trying, to you, know
tweet from our main account while doing, this you know
a little, bit AND i just like keep being, LIKE
i gotta come up with another shooto or, Meme LIKE.
Speaker 3 (01:17:58):
I can't believe this.
Speaker 7 (01:18:00):
Fall oh my, gosh you.
Speaker 6 (01:18:02):
KNOW i, MEAN i want to Give russell's opinion on this,
first BUT i will say About Dylan gabriel like we
have seen and as my inclination is to be, dismissive
like he's just too. TINY i don't know if he
has the arm to do. It but we have seen
Like Rock party be mister irrelevant after starting a lot
(01:18:24):
of games in college and Bo, nix who a lot
of people dumped, on who had started a lot of
games against major conference. Competition And Dylan gabriel has started
a lot of games against major conference. Competition is there
any chance That Dylan gabriel surprises us in the way
(01:18:45):
That Rock party.
Speaker 5 (01:18:46):
Did it's certainly, possible, RIGHT i, mean it's all about
fit for these. Guys So gabriel goes to a place
With Kevin. Stefanski this might end up working out for,
him especially if he's able to get continue to layer
throws the way that he did At, oregon and if
he can work within some rhythm and sustain that rhythm
and timing With Jerry judy And david And juco and
(01:19:09):
they got you, Know Harold, fannin they Drafted quinn Shown.
Judkins there's some pieces there for him to be. Okay you,
KNOW i think the biggest question mark is just how
much time are you giving a guy that's a little
bit of an older, player, Right he's been. Around he
went To, OKLAHOMA, ucf Obviously, oregon so he's been. Around
how much time are you giving? Him are you just
(01:19:29):
giving him the one year With Joe flacco and Maybe
Kenny pickett and how you're sprinkling that all.
Speaker 10 (01:19:33):
In But i'm.
Speaker 5 (01:19:36):
Fine with the pick because it is a third round
pick and they needed a. Quarterback it's just a crazy
that they're not Going shador at this. Point but as
we've talked, About shador just must have bombed these interviews
and that this might just be a big you know
what to his dad and the.
Speaker 6 (01:19:51):
ENTOURAGE i will go Ahead, FITZ i was just gonna,
SAY i will say. That you, know WHEN i Watched
Dylan gabriel in that first game Against Ohio state last, Fall,
like if you squinted, hard you could see AN nfl
quarterback And Dylan gabriel in that. Game but then you,
know maybe not so much in the Second Ohio state, game.
Speaker 10 (01:20:13):
Because he can sling.
Speaker 5 (01:20:14):
It. Man he when you, know when he has the
time and he's able to step up and do some,
things he can really really sling.
Speaker 10 (01:20:19):
IT i, mean, sorry when we were.
Speaker 6 (01:20:23):
Saying, earlier, WELL i.
Speaker 7 (01:20:24):
WAS i was just gonna, ask LIKE i didn't think
this is really the. QUESTION i was going to need
to ask how many quarterbacks are going to get drafted Before?
Shador like will there be? Any Will kyle McCord get
drafted Before? Shador like how far is this thing going to?
Speaker 6 (01:20:40):
Go, YEAH i don't. Know And holy Col in the chat,
says watch the, Game sanders is not that, Good LIKE
i was obsessed With colorado for the last two. YEARS
i watched a lot Of. SHADOR i think he's. Good
Like that's the, thing especially the WAY nfl teams talk
about the importance of like quarterbacks being able to be,
(01:21:02):
processors LIKE i think She doer is the best processor
in this, class like better than Cam. Ward, yeah and
that's what surprises, me that people would keep passing on
him when, he's, like you, know actually that good at
doing something that is considered such a valuable skill in THE.
Speaker 5 (01:21:18):
Nfl, YEAH i, AGREE i. AGREE i, mean it's just
this is so late for him to just be. AVAILABLE
i JUST i get. It, okay not in the first,
ROUND i get. It not even into the top fifty, picks, fine,
Whatever but at this stage in the, GAME i feel,
like you got to you gotta attempt to get the,
guy you, Know SO i.
Speaker 10 (01:21:39):
DON'T i don't know what people are waiting.
Speaker 6 (01:21:40):
FOR i, felt oh no to The vikings for. Him
Now i'm obligated to hate.
Speaker 10 (01:21:47):
Him that's HOW i feel About Luther. Burden.
Speaker 7 (01:21:50):
Wow NOT i love, felt and everybody. KNOWS i haven't hidden,
that and not just Because i'm A. HOMER i also
just think he's a.
Speaker 6 (01:21:59):
Good so how many targets do you think he gets
for The vikings Where i'm, One, WELL i.
Speaker 7 (01:22:06):
Don't know why you're going with the lower end of your.
Speaker 6 (01:22:09):
Projection, yeah you can just shove Justin jefferson And Jordan addison,
aside no.
Speaker 7 (01:22:13):
Problem people are saying he might be a better receiver
Than Justin. Jefferson i'm not saying.
Speaker 6 (01:22:17):
IT i like the. Pick he is a really for
a skinny. Player he plays surprisingly tough and uh, like
not afraid of contact at.
Speaker 7 (01:22:30):
All i'm surprised The vikings would go with a receiver
in the third, round given that they only have four
picks and obviously already have two really good. Receivers BUT
i think end of third round is a very appropriate
place For, felton AND i think he actually does compliment
the other guys, Nicely LIKE i love the idea of
three receiver sets With, Jefferson addison And.
Speaker 6 (01:22:51):
Felton, yeah it's. INTERESTING i mean we were we were
sort of on the fence about whether he was going
to be A day two Or day three, pick and
he really.
Speaker 7 (01:22:58):
Was probably does hurt his rookie fantasy value because there's
no path to being anything higher than the third OR
i mean with the tight end like fourth target in the. Offense,
yeah with a first year you, know on the field
quarterback this.
Speaker 3 (01:23:14):
Year BUT.
Speaker 7 (01:23:16):
I like to fit in real, LIFE.
Speaker 10 (01:23:20):
I agree it's a good.
Speaker 5 (01:23:21):
FIT i think you can move all those guys around,
too you, Know, Jefferson, Felton, addison you can move anybody
on that play outside.
Speaker 10 (01:23:28):
Inside a lot of good from.
Speaker 7 (01:23:30):
Them, yeah everybody who is still sticking, around thank. You
we're going to do a few minutes, here probably about
ten is ish minutes of some winners and losers from
day two and then we'll get out of. Here so
stream is not ending just. Yet we got a little
more coming your guys's way before we wrap things. Up
what a fun final, pick, Though Tye, FELTON i love
that we got To, UH i got to be hosted
(01:23:52):
that awesome quickly before we get to winners and. Losers Besides,
shadur is there anybody that you, think, like, oh somebody's
gonna get his dealing round four Like skataboo hasn't gotten.
Yet anybody else fits that you are eyeing early round
four that you think a team is going to get
a good value.
Speaker 6 (01:24:08):
On, YEAH i mean scatabo is just he is the
one that pops to. MIND i am A Taj brooks
fan just because like of his. Versatility but there's Some
Dylan samson LIKE i. Love, YEAH i mean someone is
going to get a really good back with him, LIKE
i think he could be a potential, star and there
(01:24:29):
are so many good backs left that, Again day four
is not a death sentence for these guys as far
as their dynasty.
Speaker 7 (01:24:36):
Value i'd actually be pretty on board with The ravens
Taking samson as a you, know be a year early
in a good running back class before needing. One If,
henry you, know finally takes a step down in a
year or, TWO i think he's. Good LIKE Dj, Giddens
deebro's thrown out, There Devin, Neil Jalen royals touton, like
(01:24:56):
there's a lot of good players who can who can
and help In fantasy in the right situation this upcoming.
Season all, Right so let's do some of our winners
and losers, here, guys and this will be specific To day.
Two so if you want to kind of hit on
a little bit Of day one, stuff that's, fine but
generally we're kind of focusing on rounds two and. Three
let's start on the positive side of. Things RUSSELL. A
(01:25:20):
starr with, you who is your number one winner Of day?
Speaker 5 (01:25:23):
TWO i gotta go with just What houston. Did Jalen
nole seventy ninth. OVERALL i mean he was my thirty
second overall, player my wide receiver For they got his
Teammate Jaden, higgins they Got Jalen, Nole they revamped their passing.
ATTACK i, mean there was a lot of question marks
Around Tank. Dell they needed compliments To. Nicocollins AND i
(01:25:46):
know they're you, know they're trying to piece everything together
the best that they can with what they. Got but you,
know to Get Jalen, NOLE i think at pick seventy,
nine just what a. Steal AND i think he's going
to be a plug and play slot receiver for. Them, man,
fits what would you say is your biggest.
Speaker 6 (01:26:02):
Winner i'm looking at That Tray harris pick AND i
was not The Trey harris fan That Derek brown, was
but like that is an undeniably terrific landing spot for.
HIM i think as the complimentary receiver To ladd McConkie
and you, know getting to work With Justin. Herbert SO
(01:26:24):
i Thought Trey harris was a big winner Of day.
Speaker 7 (01:26:27):
Two that's a good. ONE I i IF i had
stat down and tried to kind of line out where
my ideal landing spot is for not just a receiver
On day, two But Trey harris, Specifically chargers would have
been really high on the.
Speaker 6 (01:26:42):
List, yeah, ACTUALLY i GOTTA i gotta make him runner
up To sorry R. J, Harvey like that landing spot
was unbelievable being the potentially primary running back and A
Sean payton backfield and how how valuable that can, Be
like he might be the Biggest day two winner from
a fantasy.
Speaker 7 (01:27:02):
Perspective do you Think harvey will end up being like a?
WORKHORSE i, mean we Saw Sean payton trade up to
Take Marvin mims and then not use, Him so it
wouldn't be totally unheard of for him to take a
guy high and then not use him in a way
that fantasy managers. Want we've seen, him you, know be
very comfortable going with a committee. Approach so what's your confidence?
(01:27:23):
LEVEL i guess is What i'm asking fits That harvey
will be something close to a.
Speaker 6 (01:27:28):
Workhorse i'm not like slammed on confident in. IT i,
mean we know he kind of Likes julia, McLoughlin and
apparently we've heard, Him we've heard it said that he
wants to Use odrick estimate. More i'm not SURE i
entirely believe, that so maybe it is kind of a true,
(01:27:50):
committee BUT i don't. KNOW i just think he's the
most talented guy in that. Backfield do you have a
second winner you want to throw Out?
Speaker 5 (01:27:57):
RUSS i would have gone With harvey as, well but
just throw another name out. There Kyle williams going to The,
PATRIOTS i think is a really good fit at sixty,
nine that sixty ninth overall. PICK i, mean he's got
that big. Playability he averaged over seventeen yards per. Reception
he's got the deep, speed he can play inside. Outside
(01:28:17):
we don't really know what's to Find diggs is going
to be when he comes, Back but whether he's good or,
NOT i guess that doesn't really. MATTER i Think williams
Compliments diggs really. Well and this is about building Around Drake. May,
Right so they got the offensive, Tackle they've they've Added
Jared wilson as we saw to kind of close out,
tonight and then they get a guy Like Kyle williams
in the middle of all of. It so really intrigued
(01:28:38):
to see what he does With Drake.
Speaker 7 (01:28:41):
May how about some losers. Fits i'll start with you.
Speaker 6 (01:28:45):
HERE i hated The Luther burden landing spot with The.
Bears it just doesn't seem like there's a path for
him unless The bears were TO i don't, know maybe
deal Away Dj, moore who seemed like he was disgruntled
for much of the twenty twenty four. Season but you,
KNOW i JUST i was excited about for maybe going
(01:29:08):
somewhere like The titans or The browns where they had
a vacancy for maybe a short area receiver who could add.
Something even The. Patriots The bears just don't seem like
a place where he can.
Speaker 7 (01:29:22):
Thrive it feels like you could say there are handful
of quarterbacks that were, winners Like Caleb williams OBVIOUSLY. Cj
stroud is another. One are there are there any quarterbacks
you would say are losers fits just in the sense of,
like is there anybody who their team didn't do enough
(01:29:45):
or they took a guy you don't, like thinking they're
helping their quarterback and that you would classify as a. Loser.
Speaker 6 (01:29:51):
YEAH i Mean debro talked about this on the pre,
show like what are The cowboys? Doing why are they
not Giving Dak prescott more? Weapons AND i know they
did draft a terrific offensive lineman for him in the first,
round which you know does him a favor in a different.
Way but, man you got to get this guy some.
Weapons It's Cede lamb and there is not much else
to The dallas. Offense like he's the one playmaker in that,
(01:30:13):
offense and they are just continuing to sit on their
hands at running, back Especially.
Speaker 7 (01:30:20):
Russ who's your top.
Speaker 5 (01:30:22):
Loser you, Know i'm gonna go With New orleans Taking
Tyler shuck just simply because you know the injury history with.
HIM i, mean he's had back to, back you, know
broken collarbone. Injuries he's had a dislocated, shoulder broken, leg
a lot of things that he's got to come back.
From and we all know. That you know the, story
and it all went really well At. Louisville he threw
(01:30:44):
with a lot of good, touch playoff, structure different arm,
angles relatively good, mobility ran the four six three time
in the. Forty but you're gonna probably be moving on
From Derek, cart seems, like so you're getting rid of
an injury prone quarterback to take the risk on another
injury prone. QUARTERBACK i just feels like almost like ONE
(01:31:04):
a ONE b type of, thing and AND i just
like there's times like you watch The louisville tape And
Tyler schuck will make some really asinine throwaways where he's
just throwing it up in the air and not like
taking the. Sacks SO i just if he can't stay,
HEALTHY i don't know what's going to, happen you. KNOW
i Know Kellen moore is A i don't want to
SAY qb, guru but it's just IT'S i don't. Know
(01:31:26):
it seems like a lot at pick, forty especially When
shador was on the, board and Even Jalen. MILROE i
JUST i felt like there was other dynamic players at the.
Speaker 7 (01:31:33):
Position sounds like number one loser so far is. Fits
number two loser Is. Debro how their teams have drafted so?
Far is there an overall class that's your favorite so?
Speaker 9 (01:31:45):
Far of?
Speaker 5 (01:31:45):
US i MEAN i would be biased IF i said The,
lions of. COURSE i MEAN i do like what they've,
done you, know starting the. TRENCHES i, know the big
move up Friaac tesla seems like a, lot but you,
KNOW i like what they've. DONE i really like What
tennessee has. Done to be completely honest with, you they
went out and got their. Quarterback you, know obviously we'll
(01:32:08):
see what happens with Cam. Ward can he be the?
Guy And i've said, that you, know kind of on
this show and other shows throughout the portion of the,
Day like they admitted that they made a mistake With
Will levis and some teams they keep, going you, know
another two three years and not admitting they made a.
Mistake they, did and they and they swung for the
fences here with Cam. Ward BUT i Like, Oladijo Kevin.
(01:32:30):
Winston they're kind of revamping the defense a little, bit
and they got quite a few picks to.
Speaker 10 (01:32:34):
Tomorrow to maybe add to the offense as. Well SO
i like what they've done a little.
Speaker 7 (01:32:38):
Bit fits any kind of favorite. Classes it doesn't really
feel like Unless i'm forgetting somebody obvious that there's one
team that's kind of like running away with the draft
grades that are incoming Right, LIKE i DON'T i don't
know that anybody stands apart from the, pack unless maybe
you disagree More.
Speaker 6 (01:32:53):
Baltimore, YEAH i was gonna, say it's your Stupid. Ravens
they like stay put at number, two twenty seven and
get just like the best safety in the draft And
Malachi starks and just like this fantastic football, player and
then you, Know Mike green falls and falls and. Falls
(01:33:13):
this is a dude who had seventeen sacks For marshall
last season and then just was a beast at the senior,
ball like absolute first round, talent and a lot of
people had him mocked to the middle of the first
round and The ravens are able to get him outside
the top. FIFTY i, mean what pick was that where
(01:33:34):
they Got Mike green fifty? Nine, yeah that's just. Absurd
and then they fill a need at guard like in
the third. Round so great draft for The. Ravens, again what's? New?
Speaker 7 (01:33:45):
Fits i'm sorry You mike actually cut out for that whole.
Thing do you mind repeating all those kinds of? Really,
YEAH i know that's a phone and The chargers have
had a draft THAT i, Like i'm trying to think
of some, others but, yeah we'll see how the rest.
Speaker 3 (01:33:59):
Goes To.
Speaker 7 (01:33:59):
Marble the last thing we'll do before we get out of,
HERE i want an. OFFICIAL i know we've talked about
it a, lot but give me an. Official she'd Wear sanders'
prediction round end team that we see On day. Three
you and you can predict undrafted if you want.
Speaker 9 (01:34:12):
To.
Speaker 7 (01:34:13):
Fits what's your official she do or a.
Speaker 6 (01:34:14):
Prediction i'll Say raiders near the, top around four.
Speaker 7 (01:34:19):
Raiders so he will not have to wait too long
on day. Three according to, You, russell what do you Think.
Speaker 5 (01:34:25):
I'm gonna Say steelers that pick one twenty? THREE i,
MEAN i Just saints aren't taking. Them The raiders have
had plenty of chances of taking. THEM i JUST i don't.
Know i'm gonna Go steelers at one twenty, three.
Speaker 7 (01:34:39):
All, Right so possibly The, steelers possibly The. RAIDERS i
don't even. Know i'll say The browns somehow do, it
but just to mix it up from you. Guys but

up and, saying, right all, RIGHT i want to let
