All right, let's turn this over to the boys here

(02:03):
and we're gonna go through some running backs, some wide receivers,
couple tight ends, a couple qbs. Gentlemen, I hope you
have your words ready. We're gonna start at the running
back position, and we're gonna start with Ashton Genty of
the Las Vegas Raiders. Pat give me the prediction on
Ashton Gent's season in three words or less.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
All right, I know this is supposed to be like
a prediction. Joe I couldn't come up with like a
three word prediction for him. So my three words for
Ashton Genty are otherworldly contact balance, and I think that
sort of implies a prediction of a very excellent rookie
season for Ashton Genty, Like his contact balance is special,
just like once, I don't want to use the word

(02:42):
generational because that word gets overused. But his contact balance
is like you have to hit this dude with a
sledgehammer to get him off his feet. And I just
I think Genty is gonna be terrific from the get go.
I have no beef with anyone who wanted to take
him late in the first round of fantasy drafts.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
This year, So I'm really excited about him, all right,
Ashton Genty is certainly very exciting, and Ericson was puzzled. He
thought otherworldly was two words. It's not. We're able to
get through there. It's one word, Ericson, Or maybe you
can put a little hyphen in there if you want, Ericson,
Ashton Genty give me the outlook in three words.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Mine has a hyphen.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
So twenty twenty six Top Live because that's what is
going to happen after we see Ashton Gey play his
rookie year. He will be a top five consensus pick
in twenty twenty six fantasy football drafts because he's going
to be awesome.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Question for you, Erickson, So if he's going to be
a top five, who were the guys ahead of him
let's say top four.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
Let's see, wouldn't you surprise me if another running back
we're talking about could end up being in the top
five when we talk about next year, But it's probably
still Bijon is probably in there still, I think I
don't think that Saquan's going to be in there.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
Okay Pat wants to answer, Yes, Pat, you're writing they're
raising your.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
Hand, Bijeon, Chase Jefferson, Drake London.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Drake London. Okay, it's funny because that then why is
CMC going ahead of Ashon Genty? And I guess.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Because he's not He's not all.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
It's on another year after getting older, he's gonna probably
score like who scores more points a Week one like
we've done Week one rankings. Do you have Genty ranked
ahead of CMC. I don't because CMC is healthy for
a Week one, but.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
I will win next year admittedly there so just I
wanted to put that out there for all those truths
of the CMC were taking shots at me on the
last YOW I did with Pat just saying this this
is it.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
I've I've gent ranked ahead of CMC and draft rankings stuff.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Yes, well, because one spot stage Pat. That's it's all right,
Andrew Erics. So let's move on to the next running
back on our list. In three words or less, describe
the season ahead for Devon h Chan was.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Too healthy because I think that really is.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
That's what projected last year when to oh it was healthy,
he was the highest scored running back in points per game,
and when he was not well, you didn't want to
start him in.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Your fantasy lineup.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
So I think it all really comes down to the
Dolphins and the health of their starting quarterback because that's
what ultimately is going to be the driver of this offense.
And yes, h And I think has a lot of upside,
like we saw when things work his way, But if
he's banged up with the calf injury, if this lingers
or terms of do an achilles thing or something like
along those lines, then you know he's a really I

(05:28):
think he's the ultimate boomer Bus pick. And it'll be
interesting to see how things kind of shake out for
a Dolphins team that I think a lot of us
can see where things get off the rails with them.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
All Right, Papitzmores, Devon Han to you three words or less,
what do you have upside?

Speaker 3 (05:45):
With risk, and Ericson also just said boom or bust
that would have been a three, Like, I don't know
if he's going to bust if we get a healthy
season from Devon h And I don't think there's much
bust potential. Alois is a smaller guy, so I do
think there's a little more or baked in injury risk
than there might be for some other players. I don't
like the Miami offensive line, and what if they do

(06:09):
endeavor to not have such a compact, compressed passing game, Like,
what if they start trying to go deep again. I mean,
it's great that John new Smith was traded, and that
probably means like devaniy Chan is going to get a
huge percentage all of the shorter targets in the passing game.
But what if it's not entirely a short passing game
this year like it was last year after Tuoa came

(06:30):
back from the concussion.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Yeah, that's a good point too. Also, Oli Gordon working
around too. Saw Raheem Moster a couple of years ago.
Get a crap ton of touchdowns and here's room for
two rbs in this system. We've seen it before, so
I'm curious if we can see it again, and I
probably spend way too much fab on Oli Gordon in
a league with Derek Brown today. We'll see if I
outbid him or not. We'll find out in just a

(06:54):
couple hours from now. I'll give everybody the update on
the social media. All right, let's get to the next
running back on our list. Pat his name Omari and Hampton. Certainly,
as Derek would say, a lot of range of outcomes
here this year with Hampton, but the talent is undeniable.
Give me his season in three words or less.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
Hits ground running.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
I like that.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
Love this guy. NFL body goes right into a Jim
Harbaugh Greg Roman system. It was just terrific in college.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
He's big.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
He is going to fit the NFL game really well.
Also really nimble, quick feet catches passes. But someone on
the Athletic Football podcast just mentioned this, and I found
this pretty enlightening. Is that you know Drake May left
North Carolina two years ago well after last year was

(07:42):
not their last fall and Omari and Hampton still led
the acc in rushing and like didn't miss a beat
when Drake May miss like left and normally like that
quarterback drop off is going to affect the running back
to not at all. For Hampton, he was the same
monster he was in twenty twenty three. Just carry that over.
I think he's gonna be great from the start.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Yeah, I hope so too. I've got some shares myself
and a good thing he left for Bill Belichick got
there too. It seems like that's probably also a good move.
Andrew ericson A Maury and Hampton in three words or less?
What do you have? Oh?

Speaker 4 (08:15):
No, First, I got to give my Belichick take. I
watched the first drive thinking, oh he's.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
Back, maybe they're up seven. Nothing good to go? I like,
goha do something for an hour or two? Come back?
Oh oh no? What happened?

Speaker 1 (08:27):
What was bigger the age gap in that score or
that were between him and his girlfriend? That's the only question.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
It was at one point. It was the same when
it was forty one to seven.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
Nikes, Andrew Erickson, Let's get back to a Mariy and
Hampton before we get ourselves in.

Speaker 4 (08:41):
Trouble, all right, twenty twenty six first rounder. Because I
think that, like Ashton genty, Hampton's gonna have a monster
rookie season. I think he's gonna be consensus round one pick. Look,
we don't know what to expect from Naja Harris this year.
I know that the beginning of the offseason seemed like
he was gonna be in the thorn in the side
of Hampton, but then he had the eye injury. Now
he's going to be available for Kual. We don't really

(09:02):
know what his role is going to be, and maybe
he does seeing expanded roles as he's in progresses. But
he's probably not gonna ban the team next year because
he's on a one year deal. And whatever you think
about what happens in twenty twenty five twenty twenty six,
it's going to be the Omarion Hampton Show in Los Angeles,
and it's going to be a first round pick type
of show that you want to sign up for.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
Okay, the next running back on our list, gentleman, and
I use that term loosely was number three overall in
Fantasy are be hood just two years ago. Last year,
disappointing injuries happened, of course, and now we're in the
last year of a contract for one Travis etn So.
Andrew Erickson described his season for me coming up in
three words or less.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
Good not great.

Speaker 4 (09:41):
I think that where he's going in drafts is the
reason why he is enticing of a fantasy pick, because
he's really really cheap and he looks like he's going
to be seeing a decent role in the Jaguars offensive.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
We think can be improved with Leam Cohen, with Trevor Lawrence.

Speaker 4 (09:56):
So yeah, I just don't know how long his leashes
as the starting running for the Jacksonville Jaguars, because I
think the tank Bigsby is capable in his own right
as an early down rusher, and I think base Shall
Tuton is really really explosive, and I think it's gonna
be hard for them to keep him off the field
because I think that the speed that he offers is
something that both Bigsby and Atn just don't have.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
That could be true if he's good and not great
at RB thirty two. I'm looking right now where he
got drafted. I'll settle for that. I'll take good, not
great as an RB two with the one hundredth player overall.
How about you, Paphitz Morris Travis Atien.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
Traded to Cowboys. That's just a prediction. If the Jaguars
don't really need him, they've got Tank Bigsby, who was
appreciably better in every running game metric last year. They've
got base shall Touton, and they've got Leaquin Allen, who
can be your passing down back. Dallas does need him.
They need some more electricity in their running game, you know,

(10:50):
unless you're a big Jayden Blue believer, which I'm really not,
so I think that's a logical deal. Send a Day
three pick to Jacksonville three.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
Jerry Jones is all those ones? Why not just give
one of those pat Jerry Jones, who knows what he
might be able to do with those ones?

Speaker 2 (11:07):
I could.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
I'll trade two first round picks, give me that Travis
at and that's why I won't. That's what I'm gonna
get me some Travis ATM for those two first round picks.
Get why he sounds like George W. Bush, But he does.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
He does.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
When I do that impersonation, that's what he sounds like.
All right, Maybe Andrew Ericson has some different ideas when
it comes to some of these other running backs here.
Let's get to the next guy on our list, Jacory
Krossky merrit Ericson. I actually know I'm gonna wait on
you in this one. I want to get Pat stake
on this one first, because I've heard a lot of
Bill hype in the last couple of weeks and I

(11:40):
need Pa fitz Morris to tell me the truth. Pat,
What do you have.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
Too much hype? I mean he he could be good
and still disappoint for where he's been drafted in something
like he's coming off the board seventh round.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
Now.

Speaker 3 (11:54):
I was in a draft where he went in the
fifth round a week ago.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
He's two running backs away from Travis ATM, which is
again I think, just a little nuts.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
So right, Yeah, I mean that's the thing it's gonna be.
They've got Austin Eckler, who's gonna on the passing downs
and the two minute offense. They've got Chris Rodriguez Junior,
who they've already said is going to handle the short
yardage work. So it's a three way backfield plus jayde
and Daniels who's gonna get you eight or nine hundred
rushing yards himself. I just I don't think there's I

(12:26):
think he's being drafted like at his potential ceiling.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
I'm glad you brought up Chris Rodriguez because especially in
half PPR leagues. I've picked him up in a lot
of spots, and I just feel like, you know that
that's an easy get me ten points, get out of
their kind of RB. He falls in the end zone, boom,
like I'm gonna have nine points probably that day. Like
it's just gonna work out somewhere in that vein potentially.
Andrew Rickson, I know you're probably on the other end
of the spectrum, So give me your three words on

(12:49):
Jacory krossky Merrit.

Speaker 4 (12:50):
They told us they've been telling us the entire offseason
from OTAs from the start. Who was the star OTAs
in the spring Chicory crossky Merrit, a seventh round rookie
running back. They told us when they were like Brian
Robinson throwing you away, like Woodie the toy story just gone.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
I don't want to play with you anymore.

Speaker 4 (13:09):
Trained to the forty nine ers for nothing, Like it's
so clear that they want there, they want him to
be the guy in the backfield. Now does it happen
in Week one? Are these other guys gonna have roles? Yes,
I think to some extent, and maybe it doesn't all
come to fruition for Week one but you know who's
gonna be the number one by low target after he's
in a three way committee week one quite crossky merit right,
Like that's the way you have to think about it.

(13:30):
And I think that the both things can be true
here where he is overhyped, but he can also be
a hit because where he was drafted in your draft
is could be totally different from someone else got him,
because it's all over the place, like I've always been,
like round eight, Like that's where I feel comfortable picking
him because I think that he can be a Fantasy
RB two And if you draft him and he finishes
a Fantasy RB two, and that's pretty good value for

(13:52):
where you drafted him, I mean, fifth round. I think
that's aggressive, but that doesn't kill you necessarily. I just
don't think he's going to be a bust per se.
He may not be a league winner depending on if
you drafted him in round five, but can he provide value?
And you look at some of the other running backs
that he reminds me of, Gamian Pierce, Isaiah Pacheco, James Robinson.
All those guys ended up being good values where they
ended up being drafted. So yeah, so all those guys

(14:16):
were hyped up and it's like, oh, the hypes too much,
types too much, and then they ended up being like
solid RB twos, which I think is in Gikry Krosskymerit's
range of outcomes firmly.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
Pat, Let's say Week one happens and the Giants pull
off an upset, that Giants defense is very good. Let's
say they stuff up the Washington run game altogether and
they just you know, let's let's say that game just
goes maybe differently than people might think it is. Week one.
Crazy things happen, but that Giants defense is very, very talented.
Would Jakoori krossky Merat be one of the most dropped
guys that we had, like a just a big old stinker.

(14:46):
Could you see that like week two like the most
dropped theirs ja Cory krossky Merrit. I could see that
as a scenario happening where people as much as the hype,
they overreact in week one two.

Speaker 3 (14:56):
Yep, yeah, not far fetched. I could I could see
that too.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
All right, let's get to another one of my favorite
things speaking of the Giants, Cam Scataboo Andrew Erickson, give
me your three words talking about his twenty twenty five
one fumble away.

Speaker 4 (15:11):
That's all camp Scatamo needs, just needs one fumble for
Tyron Tracy to get the keys to the Giants backfield,
because I think it's really that simple. I think that
he profiles more as a bell cow and a bruiser
running back, and I think they'd rather have Scatabo be
the lead guy, with Tyron Tracy being the complimentary piece
to Scatabo in the thunder and lightning type of dynamic.

(15:32):
But if Dave All wants to really turn to a
guy who could do it all, I think that it's
clear that that's probably Scataboo who could do that. So
right now, with Tarron Tracy, he's the guy, it's his backfield.
But we've seen Dave Ell sour on him before. Happened
last year where he took it over, fumbled and then
gave it back to Devin Singletary and it took a
while for him to get the job back. So yeah, Scatabo,

(15:53):
it's may not happen a week one. I think that
you should be patient.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
All right, Pat camp Scattabo three words or less?

Speaker 3 (16:00):
Does style translate? And uh yeah, that's a question. I
just don't know, like he is a sort of a
banger without great top line speed, and like that worked
really well at Arizona State. I don't know if it's
going to necessarily work as well in the NFL. I
don't know. I actually drafted quite a bit of him

(16:20):
in Dynasty rookie drafts like too, So I'm optimistic, but like,
I could also see scenario where he averages three point
four yards per carry this year and no one's excited
about him going into twenty twenty six.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
It's interesting toopat because isn't that kind of in the
Moo's whole career right in high school, Like, ah, he's
not gonna be that good that he is, and okay, well,
it's not going to translate to Division one college. And
then it does. He takes over a game against Texas,
you know, a team that said basically the entire squad
to the NFL last year. And that's the thing. It's like,
we keep saying, wow, does a translate doesn't translate? He
keeps translating it. So this is it. This is the

(16:55):
final boss. We'll see if you can get by it.
All right, let's take a break in the action to
tell you about stitch Fix because, so let's be honest,
is the time of year where you want to be
home on the weekends watching football. You don't want to
go out shopping, but you need some new shirts to
wear because look, frankly, there's date nights, there's the holidays
coming up, and you need some nice things. And it
sucks to buy things online sometimes because you end up
buying stuff and you end up buying two or three

(17:18):
fitting you right, and that's a problem. So stitch fix

(18:21):
all right, gentlemen, Let's get to the wide receivers and
turn the page here three words or less. Another giant,
Pat Fitzmore has talked to me about Molik neighbors.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
Nervous about tow and I had him in the off season. Yeah,
like I had him either words.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
I was expecting. You just caught me off guard there
with those.

Speaker 3 (18:41):
I had them wide receiver four or wide receiver five
in my early offseason rankings. Like he was just behind
that group of Jamar Chase Justin Jefferson, C. D. Lamb,
I've got him like now below Drake London, Nicocollins, Brian
Thomas Junior. Like I'm just I'm worried if the Giants
are three to ten, which they very well could be

(19:02):
because they've got a murderous early season schedule and not
a very good looking offense other than Malik Neighbors. Do
they maybe shut him down and preserve him if this
toe thing is an issue all year, just as you know,
just as you're hitting the fantasy playoffs. So he's kind
of scary for me. Like, I no questions about his ability.

(19:22):
I think he can make it work, whether it's Russell Wilson,
Jackson Dart, Jamis Winston, whoever. Like Neighbors, is that good.
But the toe thing, like any physical ailments that he's
going into the season with, that makes me a little
makes my palms a little sweaty.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
Just yeah, I can understand that, and the changing of
quarterbacks throughout the season, you just never know how that's
going to work. All right, Let's see if any body
parts are in Andrew Rickson's three words.

Speaker 4 (19:46):
No, no body parts for me when it comes to
bleak Neighbors. My three words are so much volume, because
that's really the bet On Leak neighbors. I think last
year he led the NFL in targets are think one
hundred and seventy targets, something absolutely bonkers, and why isn't
he going to see that type of volume again this year?

Speaker 2 (20:02):
But it's almost kind.

Speaker 4 (20:03):
Of a double edged sword where he's seeing so much
volume that it seems like he is getting a workload
type of they're trying to balance his workload, like you
see with running backs. He's missed a lot of the
off season because they're trying to maintenance his workload because
he's going to see so many targets every single week,
and can he sustain that for seventeen weeks? Kind of
like what Fitz said, the toe injury is something that

(20:25):
he's been dealing with, but just all the hits. If
he's accumulated the week after week after week, because it's
fifteen targets, fifteen targets, fifteen targets, does he last till
the Fantasy playoffs? And that does, you know, create some concerns?

Speaker 1 (20:38):
All right, certainly some concerns potentially from a league neighbors.
Let's talk about the concerns around Tyreek Hill Andrew Ericson
and three words or.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
Less red flags everywhere.

Speaker 4 (20:47):
I just I understand the argument for Tyry Kill, but
it's all about, well, what if he just turns back
to twenty twenty three.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
That's it.

Speaker 4 (20:54):
But guys don't get better as they get older, they
get worse.

Speaker 1 (20:58):
As I point, it's is right here with and he
is a delight. He is like wine.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
At professional football. I should have been more clear.

Speaker 1 (21:06):
At professional football, watch.

Speaker 4 (21:10):
Especially at the wide receiver position. It's not a gradual decline.
Guys are good, maybe they show a little de client
and then they just drop off and you're just like,
where where did this guy go?

Speaker 2 (21:19):
Michael Thomas remember that guy? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (21:21):
Hey, And I remember Amari Cooper just last year exactly,
it's great.

Speaker 2 (21:25):
It's a great Andre.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
Hopkins just last year.

Speaker 4 (21:28):
Sure it happens so and a lot of these guys,
they moved from team to team. So Tyreek Hill is
he going to get traded? And maybe that is a
good thing. I personally don't think it's a good thing.
And now the fact that Rice is coming back in there,
he's serving his suspension to start the year and not
in the middle of the season. Now, I feel like
the Chiefs really aren't play anymore for Tyree Co because oh,
we're going to get Rice back, we don't need to
trade for him. So I I just think that the

(21:49):
vibes are just so terrible. He wasn't voted as a
team captain for the first time since being in Miami. Now,
he expected that. He was totally expected that. But I
just if they lose Week one against the Colts, this
is just gonna be the beginning of a dumpster fire
in Miami with Tyreek Hill the flames.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
I'm here for it, all right, Tyreek Hill, Pafitz Morris
break it down.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
For us, recalibrate your expectations. And I'm pretty much with ericson,
like we we aren't getting the seventeen hundred yard seasons back,
and everyone has talked about that, like, you know, what,
what if that happens again? Like I don't even think
that's in the range of outcomes, Like I think a
nice bounce back would be, you know, twelve hundred yards
and nine touchdowns. I don't think we returned to the

(22:33):
huge epic season again. It's just I don't know. I
think people just I think the ADP has been right
with him. I think it weighs the risk of getting
Hill in like the late third, early fourth. That seems
right to me. I still think he can be good,
but like he's not gonna be great.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
So twelve hundred yards and nine touchdowns? Is that gonna
be more or less than what Garrett Wilson has this year?

Speaker 3 (22:57):
It's gonna be more than Garrett Wilson.

Speaker 1 (22:58):
Okay, because they're going based on back to back or
we're going back to back in draft. So I just
think that's kind of interesting.

Speaker 3 (23:03):
I mean, like that's the top end outcome though for
Tyreek Hill. That's not the median outcome.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
Okay, is that? But that would be the top end
outcome for Garrett Wilson, right, I.

Speaker 3 (23:12):
Mean, yeah, I've got Garrett Wilson ranked higher than Tyreek Hill, right,
but I think there's less.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
Risk probably, Yeah, But I just think they might be
closer than you really. To me, it was all about
the discount you're getting a Hill. I'm not Look, I'm
not looking for seventeen hundred, but to your expectation, twelve
and nine, Hey, that sounds pretty good. Is my third
wide receiver, and on a big wide receiver, it.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
Was even cheaper than Tyree Hill, Jenlel.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
Waddle Well or Ted Roll McMillan. I'd rather have exactly
either of those.

Speaker 2 (23:39):
Stay away from.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
Those dolphins as much as possible. How about we just
stay away from that. I mean, just course, way way
too much fab on, And I don't care. You're the
first or last of those expert leagues. And I have
three championships in that league in six years, and I
plan on getting back to the top of the mountain.
I don't care what kind of fab you I was

(24:00):
trying to throw. You think Dee bro would throw eighty
percent of his fab on Ali Gordon if he was
out there? Do you think he would do that this
week one? I don't know.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
I don't remember him being this like major Olli Gordon Bowl.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
I don't know. All I know is he kept asking
when's waivers? When waivers to Jake Seally, who runs that league,
And I'm just like, boy, oh boy, somebody's really anxious.
I better make sure I keep upping my bids just
to make sure that I don't let It's okay. If
Andy Barns gets him, it's okay. If Ratcliffe gets him,
it's not okay. If Derek gets him over me and
just I'm making a statement with my waiverbid. All right,

(24:31):
let's get to Zee.

Speaker 3 (24:32):
Wait, does this mean we're not going to talk about
three words for Darren Waller? I can't say no more music.

Speaker 2 (24:41):
Music.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
I don't know. I don't know. Pat, I think you're
wrong on that one. I think we could all use
one more Darren Waller banger. Just just drop that bad
boy right around week twelve when Mike McDaniel gets fired.
I think that's what.

Speaker 2 (24:53):
Well I was going to make it to week twelve.

Speaker 4 (24:54):
I mean, the guy got signed and was immediately put
on the pup and never practiced.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
Now, if only somebody was trying to save you guys
from Darren Waller a couple of years ago, some handsome
ball fellow. All right, let's get to Xavier Worthy. Here
our next selection here, Pat, walk me through Xavier Worthy
in three words.

Speaker 3 (25:12):
This year, dentse Rashi's value And I'm kind of amazed
at how people have looked at Rashi Rice like he's
going to go back to when he plays, he's eventually
going to be just right back to where he was
as a rookie or the early part of last year,
like Xavier Worthy came on with a vengeance late last season.

(25:32):
His last eight games playoffs included fifty catches, so better
than one hundred catch pays for a full regular season.
Now he's not going to do that. And granted he
was running like fewer you know, deep posts and flies
and like fewer vertical routes and playing a little bit
more of the Rashi Rice roll, but like it was
not a one for one. He was not playing the

(25:53):
exact Rashier Rice roll. Worthy is just good. He's going
to earn more targets than like Marquez valdeesk Antling and
Justin Watson and Sky Moore and the guy's Rashi Rice
used to be playing with a wide receiver earned. So, like,
I don't know if Worthy is kind of a great
season himself, but like people have been overdrafting Rashi Rice,

(26:13):
even factoring in the suspension.

Speaker 1 (26:15):
Even this weekend too. You saw like his draft stock
draft drop excuse me, seven point nine spots. I thought
it should have been more than that. He was still
going in the top thirty six wide receivers. So for
a guy missing six games already and that's before an injury,
before something else, I'm just saying, like six weeks, that's
almost half, almost half of your fantasy football regular season.
That's a lot too rich for my blood. But what

(26:37):
about Andrew Rickson when it comes to Xavier Worthy?

Speaker 2 (26:40):
Second year breakout for Xavier Worthy? And I think of
that we're.

Speaker 4 (26:43):
Going to see it week one. I think that the
Chiefs have been bombarding us all off season with got
to bring back the dee ball, got to remack the
deep bat.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
You know, maybe who's going to play a role in that.
Maybe the guy they drafted in the first round last year, Xavier' Worthy.

Speaker 4 (26:55):
And I can get that the deep ball with Mahomes
last year didn't connect, it didn't click, But why can't
that get better in year two? And I think that
given the fact that Rice is going to miss the
first six weeks, do you ever Worthy is going to eat?
They're gonna give him every single opportunity that he should
get in this offense, especially down the field.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
So I think we're going to see fireworks.

Speaker 4 (27:14):
And it would not surprise me at all if the
first play the Chiefs run against the Chargers in Brazil
to get the fans going hard, play action bomb to
exabit war the eighty yard touchdown.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
All right, we shall see, hopefully that turf is good
enough that nobody slips and falls this time Andrew erics.
Then let's talk about another wide receiver, this one of
the new England Patriots, Stefon Diggs. Give me three words
on Stefan.

Speaker 4 (27:36):
Old acl injury. I think that Diggs is in a
situation where he was being drafted as a pretty good value.
I just don't think that he's going to offer any
difference making from a fantasy perspective this season. I think
that he's fine. I think he's a wide receiver three
at best. I just don't think that upside with him
unless he runs extremely hot on touchdowns, like if you

(27:57):
scored couples of touchdowns. But I don't think we're going
to see a lot of yards out to catch. I
think it's going to be. Hey, he's reliable, he's got
good hands, converts third downs. Maybe a better real life
receiver than actual one for fantasy football, because I just
don't imagine like Drake May is not. I don't think
they want Drake May to necessarily drop back and throw
forty five times a game. Patritevas is going to be good.
Drake May's going to use his legs. That takes away

(28:18):
passing attempts from the overall offense. And I still think
that there are other pieces here again Henderson, the running
backs in general, Hunter Henry I think is gonna be
a bigger factor in the red zone that most people
are given credit for. And maybe some of these other
young receivers. Tomario Douglas, I don't think is a zero.
I think got Williams is a lot of talent, and
he offers juice on the outside. The thing with Diggs
is the Page's offense needs juice and like that's not

(28:40):
what he can offer now at thirty one years old,
coming off an ACL injury. He's consistent, he's reliable, but
I don't think he has the juice to really be
a big difference maker in fantasy.

Speaker 1 (28:48):
How dare you pass over Kashawn Bhute? How dare you
Andrew Eric? All Right? Pawitzmore is give me a little
bit more hope for Stefon.

Speaker 3 (28:55):
Diggs May's best friend.

Speaker 1 (28:58):
Okay, I like that?

Speaker 3 (29:00):
Like yeah, I mean it was a clean ACL tearr.
Guys come back from that when they don't have other
ligament damage or meniscus damage. We have seen and if
all players like make pretty rapid returns and be kind
of back to what they were before the injury in
a lot of cases, and like, I think Diggs is
going to be the number one target earner by a

(29:22):
wide margin on this team. I think he's going to
be really good. And I know he is not the
same player he was when he got to Buffalo in
twenty twenty. But when he did get to Buffalo in
twenty twenty, it's hard to think back to that time,
but people still a lot of people still thought Josh
Allen was a Jabbroni at the time. And Josh Allen
set the world on fire in twenty twenty, and Stefan

(29:44):
Diggs led the league in catches and yardage that year.
I don't expect that sort of impact, but he is
going to help Drake may take the leap this year.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
Let's talk a little bit about a player that I've
been drafting a lot towards the end of draft season
who's coming in extreme value. Deebo Samuel now with the
Washington Commander as Patitzmore is give me three words on.

Speaker 3 (30:00):
Debo fits Cliff's style and that Cliff Kingsberry has gotten
a lot of Grief for his horizontal passing game, and
who fits a horizontal passing game better than a player
like Deebo Samuel with his catch and run ability. So
I think this is one of the best landing spots
Debout could have had after leaving San Francisco.

Speaker 1 (30:21):
If Deebo gets more carries in week one than Crosskey Merritt,
people are going to be jumping off rooftops, Pat jumping
off rooftops.

Speaker 3 (30:29):
We didn't even talk about him as another rash and
it's a five way back field. Joe.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
Yeah, I'm just saying it's not like Deebo is uncomfortable
back there. Andrew Erickson, give me a couple of words.
Spare me some time here when it comes to.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
Debo quintessential cell high.

Speaker 4 (30:43):
We've seen this before in Cliff Kingsbury's offense, where it
starts out really hot out of the gates, and then
in the second half the season you hit the cliff
cliff that we always talk about from a content perspective.

Speaker 2 (30:52):
That's great.

Speaker 4 (30:53):
Wow, and you give the idea that McLaurin has missed
so much of the training camp. Now they have him
back obviously after signing the extension, but we've seen this
before with guys that hold out, even Jamar Chase last
year after he held out to get his new contract.
He showed up Week one and he was not ready
to go, like he was out there running routes, but
he did not put up an impressive stat line. So
I expect McLaurin to struggle production wise to open the year,

(31:13):
and I think that's going to benefit Deebo significantly. But
once McLaurin gets a couple of games under his belt,
the Commander's offense kind of involves him a little bit more,
gets back to what they saw from last year. I
think you see Deebo's production also kind of decrease. So
I think that if you drafted him late, you take
advantage of him having a monster yards out to the
catch play in Week one against the New York Giants,
and you cash out for a lot of volume because

(31:35):
we've seen Deebo fall off significantly in the second half
of the season like last year, and he also has a
very long injury track record.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
Okay, some interesting words there to grow on. Let's get
to Matthew Golden and we'll finish out the wide receivers
Andrew Erickson.

Speaker 4 (31:48):
We'll start with you golden opportunity. All the Packers wide
receivers are hurt except for Matthew Golden. It's seemingly so.
He's a first round pick, and I get that the
numbers he put at Texas were not or they didn't
completely stand out, But I think that if you watched
him play and you just look at how reliable he was,
he always showed up in the biggest moments, Like that's

(32:08):
really what the Packers really needed the most. Not this
necessarily alpha target earner, which Matthew Golden is not, but
someone that was reliable, that could go up and make
a catch on third down, catch touchdown when you need
it to convert. So as his team looks to make
a Super Bowl run, I think Matthew Golden's going to
play a massive role in that as the Packers number
one wide receiver this season.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
All Right, the low hanging fruit with a golden opportunity.
Pfitzmor's are he coming around finally here at the end
to Matthew Golden.

Speaker 3 (32:35):
So my three words for Matthew Golden are stats versus film,
because I think he's a really interesting test case, a
guy who was a top fifteen overall prospect for some
of the respected draft analysts like Daniel Jeremiah, Dane Brugler,
mel Kiper Junior. But for the people who do like
prospect modeling, there were a lot of red flags because

(32:57):
his college production until the very end when he kind
of lit things on fire after Isaiah Bond was injured,
like hadn't been very good. He was definitely not anything
close to a first round prospect going into twenty twenty
four and came on really strong late. So it's gonna
be interesting to see whether the stats guys or the
film guys are right about Golden.

Speaker 1 (33:19):
All right, let's see who's right or wrong about the
quarterbacks here. Let's start with a big one here, Dak Prescott,
Pat give me three words or less on Dak twenty twenty.

Speaker 3 (33:28):
Five the NFC's Burrow. I like that he is the
Joe Burrow of the NFC. A very good pocket passer
with a terrific pair of wide receivers and a terrible
defense that is gonna thrust him into a lot of
shootouts like.

Speaker 1 (33:43):
It, no run game, bad defense. All he has to
do is stay healthy, right Andrew Rickson, what do you
have for Dak?

Speaker 2 (33:49):
Overrated?

Speaker 4 (33:50):
Over and rated, I should say for Dactors, that makes
three words for me. So I understand, like the comparison,
they're going to throw so much it's gonna be great.
Three of the yards are single week. This offensive line
is not that good. Like that's my big concern with
Dallas is that the offensive line is not the same
offensive line we've seen from Big Dan the past seasons
where Dak has been a top five fantasy quarterback. So

(34:11):
you look at all the weapons, they're all the receivers,
the pass catchers. Remember Kayleb Williams and all his pass
catchers and weapons last year, and what made that team
struggle was because the offensive line was a mess. So
that's my biggest concern with Dak Prescott. And yes, I
understand him as an appeal as one of these late
round or back end fantasy qb ones, but he doesn't
run anymore. So like that's why I can't wrap my

(34:32):
mind around him in comparing him to Joe Burrow. Joe
Burrow is the best pocket passer in the NFL right now,
so maybe a couple of years ago Dak was on
that same level, but again he missed half of the
season last year. He was not good last year either,
like all of his numbers are going he citing from
twenty twenty three, she does twenty four was not good
for him, and he was throwing a lot last year too,
So I just have concerns about the offensive line and

(34:52):
the fact that he doesn't offer any value as a rusher.

Speaker 1 (34:56):
All right, So those are the words on dak Let's
talk about k Williams Andrew ericson give me three words
on him.

Speaker 4 (35:03):
Post hype sleeper Caleb Williams. Ben Johnson is there to
help fix him out. They and crew the offensive line.
He still has good wide receivers and Titans to throw
the ball to, and there's depth here so if someone
gets hurt or banged up, you have guys that can
step up and step in two bigger roles. So I
think that even if Caleb Williams isn't a top five
quarterback in twenty twenty five, I think that he's going

(35:25):
to improve dramatically compared to his rookie season.

Speaker 1 (35:29):
Pat, what are your thoughts on Caleb Williams in year two?

Speaker 3 (35:33):
Ben fixes him? And Joey P I know you don't agree,
and I'm not guaranteeing Ben fixes him because We've talked
about this and how Caleb is a wild cult back
there and can he you know, do the quick drops
and get the ball out on time. There's some questions
about that, and he didn't really do that in the
preseason in some cases. But like I guess, I do

(35:56):
have faith in Ben Johnson to sort of tame Caleb's
worst instinks and get him to play on schedule.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
I hope, so I'd like to see it. I like
a feel good story as much as the next guy.
I don't think it's gonna happen. My three words would
be Tyson, bage and pivot. That's what I think we're
gonna Yeah, you watch, you watch like I just I
think it might get ugly at some point where and
frustrating at some point. I just think Caleb doesn't fit

(36:26):
the kind of system that I think he wants to run.
And I think it's gonna be very interesting and we're
gonna be in that cycle yet again, where you know
Bears are bad, They draft a quarterback, that quarterback doesn't excel,
coach gets fired, new coach comes in. They draft a
quarterback that team doesn't play well, They fired the coach.
New coach comes in, it's been going around for years. Yeah,

(36:46):
I you go back to Mitch Trubisky, you can go
through this, you go justin field SCALEB Williams. It's all
gonna just it's gonna the cycle just continues. It's the
circle life in Chicago. I think it's gonna be the
same way. JJ McCarthy. I have higher expectations for I
think the Vikings are gonna win this division. But what
does Pat Fitzmorris, the cheesehead, think of JJ McCarthy. That's
what I'm dying to know. In three words, are less.

Speaker 3 (37:05):
Pat thrives in ecosystem, Just as we had questions about
whether Sam Darnold's would be a successful starting quarterback, like
there are questions about whether McCarthy is going to be
a decent starter for Minnesota. Kevin O'Connell. Just the guys
one of the brightest offensive mines in the league, and

(37:27):
they have bolstered their offensive line, the middle of their
offensive line, and he's got Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison wants
his suspension ends, TJ. Howkinson, Adam Thielen, ample pass catching weaponry.
Everything's in place for JJ McCarthy to have a solid
first season as a starter.

Speaker 1 (37:44):
Okay, JJ McCarthy, those are good words from Pat Andrew.

Speaker 4 (37:47):
What do you have second half surge for JJ McCarthy.
I think that's going to take some time for him
to kind of get acclimated again. He has not played
a real NFL game yet, and this is basically his
rookie season, so the first time that he'll step onto
an NFL field in a real game that matters Monday
Night football at the Chicago Bears and the Vikings have
a very weird schedule where they're playing a primetime game

(38:10):
on the road his first game. They have two international
games in the first five weeks of the season, and
he's getting Addison back after a couple miss games due
to suspension. So I think after that bye week, which
I believe is Week six for the Minnesota Vikings, I
think post by week you start to see them put
a little bit more on JJ McCarthy. I think to
start the year, it's going to be let's lean on
the run game. We bolstered the interier offensive line. We've

(38:32):
got two great backs between Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason.
We can feed these guys. I just don't expect them
to put it all on him, especially with Addison out
and Justin Jefferson who's missed all of training camp with
his hamstring injury. Like, don't put so much pressure on
the kid right out of the gates when you don't
have to.

Speaker 1 (38:47):
All right, that'll do it for the quarterbacks. But let's
talk a little tight end before we get out of here,
and let's start with a well known one. Travis Kelcey
controversial here at this stage of his career. It certainly
has lost a step, But how much of a step
has he lost? In Andrew Rickson's mind, that's the question.
Give me Travis Kelcey's twenty twenty five in three words, Andrew.

Speaker 4 (39:07):
Don't blame me because I told you not to draft
Travis Kelcey. There are other tight ends that you should draft.

Speaker 2 (39:13):
I get.

Speaker 4 (39:13):
I don't necessarily hate the proponent of him being a
serviceable fantasy tight end this year. But when I see
him going in the range of Tyler Warren and Tucker Craft,
I'm just I'm not taking Travis Kelcey over those guys.
So that's the way I see it With Kelsey. I
think that he can be serviceable, and if he if
Mahomes has that touchdown, bounce back. Think that Kelsey can
benefit from that. But yeah, I am okay rafting Kelsey.

Speaker 1 (39:37):
Now I'm gonna ask because I know sometimes Andrew stumbles
into genius. You know that's a Taylor Swift song, right,
don't blame me? It is it?

Speaker 2 (39:46):
Is it real?

Speaker 1 (39:47):
Well, look, I live in a house of two teenage girls.
I'm telling you right now, my daughters will be the
first people to like yell at me. If I didn't
get this right, don't blame me. Twenty seventeen, I googled
just to be sure. Don't blame me. Love made me crazy.
If it didn't, you ain't doing it right, Taylor Swift.
So I thought you were just being really cheeky there,
and you slipped in a perfect like three words there.

(40:09):
But once again, Andrew ericson stumbling at a genius. I
knew that's what it was. I knew it was too
good to be true. All right, Pat Fitzmorris, let's get
the Travis Kelcey three words for you. Damn it, Andrew.
It's gonna give you so much credit.

Speaker 2 (40:20):
No course, I put it there because.

Speaker 1 (40:22):
It's yeah, yeah, yes, yeah, I know. But I look
at it him like wow, Andrew. Really he did the thing.
No he didn't.

Speaker 2 (40:29):
I looked at the show sheet first time. All off
seas out the right way.

Speaker 1 (40:34):
You know what you should do. You should film a
video now for Social with that song over it with
Travis Kelcey and see how it does. Just see see
what happens. Don't play me all right, I'm gonna keep
reading the lyrics for the song while Pat gives me
three words on Travis Kelcey.

Speaker 3 (40:49):
Not washed yet. Okay, we saw him still get target
and catch volume last year. He would have had one
hundred catches if he had played in the Chief's final
regular season game. But the efficiency kind of cratered. I
don't necessarily think the efficiency stays in the gutter like
I just I think the Chiefs offense is gonna be
a lot better this year, like they fixed the offensive line.

(41:11):
I think Kelsey's gonna get a big volume spike early
in the year with Rashi Rice suspended. I just think
things are gonna be good. He wants to be in
the best shape of his life, Joe, he's a year
away from getting married. Ericson, didn't you want to look
like you were in the best shape of your life?
For wedding pictures and everything when you got married. So
like you know, he's gonna be working out like a madman,
ready for the season, ready for ready for the wedding

(41:34):
to take right.

Speaker 1 (41:34):
So again, wedding shape. Andrew knows all about the wedding shape.

Speaker 4 (41:37):
Yeah, well, I will say that looking like you're in
shape by actually versus being in shape are two different things.
You can look aesthetically like, yeah, you look at your fit,
and then when you actually do something athletic, you're like, no,
I'm not fit actually at all.

Speaker 2 (41:48):
It's all fake.

Speaker 1 (41:49):
Also married a girl named Taylor. Just saying just a
lot of a lot of parallels, a lot of things
happening here, a lot of things coming together here on
the show. This is what the swift zoo. They connect
all these different things. Right. Well, it was thirteen days
since Pa Fitzmorris's last podcast and if you look back
and he was thirteen times higher than Andrew Erickson was
on this player. It's gonna be like that. People are
gonna go down the rabbit hole. We can only hope

(42:10):
maybe this show will get half as many views as
the New Heights podcasted on that We'll say it's from
the reputation album though, just so you know, Andrew reputation album.
Let's get to two more tight ends here. Tyler Warren
a guy we all have a lot of. I think
cautious optimism are on excuse me in twenty twenty five.
So Pat, what are your three words for Tyler Warren.

Speaker 3 (42:30):
Kittle the sequel? I mean, he is another George Kittle
like he is an absolute Tasmanian devil after the catch.
I cannot wait to watch Tyler Warren play football this Sunday.

Speaker 1 (42:41):
Me too. He was fun to watch on Saturdays last year.
So all right, Andrew Erickson, give me three words on
Tyler Warren.

Speaker 2 (42:48):
Alpha tight end one.

Speaker 4 (42:50):
I think that the we're gonna watch one half of
the Colts offense and realize that he should have been
a top five ranked tight end all draft season.

Speaker 1 (42:59):
I agree, I think.

Speaker 4 (43:00):
I think that's all the Dolphins are so like they
talk about the Dolphins. This is like one of the
I think, was it you right? You called him soft?
Now you call the Bill soft? I think too, But
the Bills are soft too. Yes, I did call the Bills.

Speaker 2 (43:11):
But the Dolphins.

Speaker 4 (43:12):
I remember they had that joint practice the Lions and
reporters were saying, this was the most one sided joint
practice I've ever seen in my entire Like the Lions
just destroyed the Miami Dolphins. So yeah, I could definitely
see that happening in a week going for Tyler Warren.

Speaker 1 (43:27):
Yeah, Tyler Warren I think is a beast man. But
we also thought Kyle Pitts was going to be a
beast back in the day. So let's end on this
one because I thought this would be entertaining Kyle Pitts
Andrew ericson twenty twenty five and three words, let's.

Speaker 4 (43:39):
Go trade me please. I think that's what he needs.
I think that he needs to get.

Speaker 1 (43:45):
Off the change of scener.

Speaker 4 (43:46):
That's what he needs. I think that he still has
the talent. I just don't think it's happening in Atlanta.

Speaker 1 (43:51):
Okay, Pafitz Morris, what do you think about Kyle Pitts.
Here we go, let's end the show in the high
note question mark.

Speaker 3 (43:57):
Hot Waiver pick up? Are you ready to talk about
bitting on Kyle Pitts Our Waiver show next month? And
Derek Brown Show.

Speaker 1 (44:05):
Yes, it's also a Taylor Swift song. Are you ready
for it? Says everything there.

Speaker 3 (44:11):
Hot waiver pickup is a Taylor Swift song.

Speaker 1 (44:14):
Yes, well, yes it should be. It might be. I mean,
by the time she's done, she's very prolific. So I
give you all the brads and chads and the comments
getting really mad that we've measured this time. Just relaxed, guys,
it's fine, it's fine. We're having some fun here. The
season hasn't started yet. But Pat, I mean, there's a
there's a world where you can see it happening. It's
not like he's a bereft of talent. You know, he

(44:34):
came in a league thousand yards right out of the
game as a rookie.

Speaker 4 (44:38):
Is this hot waiver wire pickup like Isaiah likely hot
wiver wire pickup for weeks?

Speaker 3 (44:43):
This question, what do you think justified? This will be
more justified. Look, I mean, I know now you can't,
like you know, you just stumble into tight ends who
finished overall t e one rookie tight ends like they're
all over the place. But at the time, Kyle Pitts
was the first tight end rookie tight end have a

(45:03):
thousand yard season in sixty years when he came into
the league. He's still a plus plus athlete at the
position and like it is a skinny target tree in
Atlanta with basically Drake London, Darnell Mooney, Kyle Pitts. Like
things are in place. I know there's been, you know,
some semi plausible excuses for why he hasn't popped the

(45:24):
last couple of years, Injuries, unfamiliar infamiliarity with the Zach
Robinson offense last year. I think things click for him
this year. And like Michael Pennix, he made three wide
receivers at Washington like draft worthy, and we've seen that,
Like you know, none of them have really lived up
to expectations except maybe Jalen McMillan last year and a

(45:46):
small window of opportunity, like he's solid. Michael Pennix was
a king maker in Washington, like I think he can
do that for Kyle Pitts this year.

Speaker 1 (45:56):
I hope. So I have him in a dynasty league
where I also have Travis Kelsey, so I'd love to
pass the baton at tight end to Kyle Pitts. Finally,
I feel good about it, but we'll see how that is.
Give me your favorite three words or less on any
