Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome in everybody to Fantasy Pros. This is the Fantasy
Football Podcast. It is me Joey P joe Pisapia, and
we are back with another mock draft EPR style. In
this time it's doomsday. That's right. We're gonna go back
to back to back to back in terms of where
we're drafting today. So we are going four in a
row and that is with my three best friends here,
(00:22):
the Welsh Scott Bogman and the Athletics own Jake Sealley
joining us today for this PPR mock draft again. This
is gonna be a good time. We're gonna be using
our draft simulator, which is Draft Wizard. If you haven't
used Draft Wizard, what the hell are you doing with
your time again? Go out there, use the multi user
draft software, use the draft simulator mock till you drop
(00:43):
mock out with your cell phone out, and that way
you can go ahead and get ahead of all of
your competition. Sink your leagus for free over Fantasy Pros.
Download the app, download Draft Wizard and get mocking today. Gentlemen,
this should be a good time here. We've got a
fun set up. None of us are the one pick people.
Were complaining, why is Joe the one pick? I was
(01:04):
just the twelve pick the other day, But that's not
good enough for you people. So we just randomly got
in here and now we're going to go ahead and
make this work. So I'm picking at the four, Welsh
is picking at the five, Jake is picking at the six,
and Scott Bogman is picking at the seventh spot here
today as I'm sure this is gonna make my job
much harder. But That's part of the fun, isn't it,
because I've got to do reads and all the other
(01:25):
fun things. Jake Sealley, what's new at the Athletic. I
haven't seen you in a couple of days.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
I haven't seen you in a while. I'm just upset
we can't get this collection together for flex this weekend.
Because that's why I know we need we need to
make it happen. For these these two jokers, it was
share some New York gelato for a change. They see, Joe,
you have you haven't shared gelato with them yet. See,
that's the thing, is like the three best friends have
to do anyway the Athletic lsh have I shared gelato
with you?
Speaker 3 (01:49):
We've had some desserts though we had we did the
buffet and Vegas. We've had some some delicacies have been consumed.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
Yeah, Rob Bogman, I'll be happy to share Jelata with
you if you like, during the show, after the show.
Cover works for you, guys.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
So the Athletic is nice timing, Just to throw it
out real quick. Our draft kit is finally coming out
this week. We want to be last in the gate
this year. We want to be different. Well they always
say if you're not first, your last.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
That's what I've been told anyway. All right, So the
draft is underway. We've got one QB, three wide receivers,
two running backs, we've got a tight end and yes,
flex draft is this weekend, so I will be there.
Derek Brown's coming over my house. Is gonna be a
good time. We will be going to New York City
to see Jake Seely hanging out. Maybe little de Bro
who knows my making appearance there. He is fresh off
of last year's draft. Because Derek Brown's a flight got canceled,
(02:37):
so we had to bring that, yeah with us at
his place. Yeah, that's right. So Jamar Chase goes one
Bijon goes to Ceedee Lamb goes three. I took Justin
Jefferson four in this PPR mock because I believe in
JJ McCarthy, even if it's a slow September, So what
the kid will be fine. Kevin O'Connell's a genius. I'm
good with Justin Jefferson at the four spot. We'll roll
(02:58):
with that Welsh You're up at one oh five. Where
are you going here in this PPR madness.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
That's a little bit tougher, not gonna lie a tiny
bit tougher just because the big wide receivers are done
running backs.
Speaker 4 (03:10):
Interesting situation.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
I'm actually gonna go and I usually I'm not going
to follow this. I'm gonna go the tippy top of
where the draft assistant and the draft wizard here is
telling me to do with Jamiir Gibbs. And simply because
Jamiir Gibbs in a full PPR with all those receptions
and all of that offensive run he's going to have.
We know he was one of the top backs at
the final end of the season here. I love Jamiir
Gibbs in this situation. Over Barkley kind of wanted to
(03:33):
go running back in the middle here because of the
wide outs, but I did think very hard on a
wide receiver. But I'm going to lock up Jamiir Gibbs
here as I expect some running backs to go between
my next pick.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
All right, Bob's what do you think that new offense
is going to look like? Here? With Ben Johnson gone?
What do you think they see some more wrinkles about,
maybe even more Jamiir Gibbs If that's possible in twenty
twenty five, that certainly would even boost his fantasy value further.
Does he have a shot at being number one overall
with that news?
Speaker 5 (03:59):
Yeah, of course I think he for sut does? I
mean he was close last year anyway? Right? And I
think in Detroit, you know, yes, things are going to change,
but it's kind of the if it ain't bron to
fix it, right, So I don't think you're going to
see wild drastic change. Maybe some personnel change, but as
far as play calling goes, I think we'll get.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
And clearly Detroit is back because Eminem dropped to Detroit.
What line and the great classic Happy Gilmore too, So
Detroit Lions back because of that awesome hit.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
Boy oh boy.
Speaker 6 (04:30):
Well, you know what's really good is when you're miserable.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
I just thought he was trying to do a Mark
Wahlberg impression the entire time. Yeah, hey, Alligata, say hi
to your mom as you chew up my arm.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
Nice mock drafts helod you mother for me. Well, she
was not as big of a fan of Happy Gilmore Too.
I thought it was fun, and Bagman, who also enjoys
his life, also thought it was fun.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
Jake ze Lely, I thought it was fun. It was
like a six or seven. It was just a good
laugh for two as the first half was better than
the second half, so it balances out to like a
six or seven.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
The biggest debate since politics whether you liked or didn't
like Happy Gilmore Too.
Speaker 4 (05:10):
It was fine, No you three.
Speaker 6 (05:11):
It wasn't the best thing ever, but Welsh hates it.
Speaker 4 (05:15):
I love Jamier Gibbs, though. Remember Detroit's back.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
Let's oh my god, let's get to Jake Seally's first
pick here. He took his dog's namesake sa kuon Barkley.
So look, Jake. Obviously there's value there at one oh six,
for sure, but there's also risk. Right, four hundred and
thirty six carries that's a lot of carries history in
the last twenty five years has its eye on those
running backs, and none of them have had good seasons
(05:40):
the next year. Almost none of them. Have you been
finishes in RB one, let alone RB one overall. So
this is tough here because we always go into these
situations where oh, Sean Alexander's League MVP, and Eddie George
and Edwin James, and again the list goes on and
on and on Arian Foster, where we go up, They're
gonna be the best running back in football next year,
no one. Everything's is going to go wrong. So how
much risk is there with Saquan as opposed to maybe
(06:01):
going with the Moliku neighbors or Poka Nakua and avoiding
that risk altogether in the first round.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
So I'm looking at the draft right now where I'm
at two o seven, and I've actually rolled back my
pick if I could. I was seeing how the.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
Draft might filling. Jake, you can do that on the
draft simulator that if you don't like it. You can't
do it right on the album, Yeah, but you can
do it. Other people can do it. You just can't
right now, and I would love to.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
So I'm gonna answer your question and add the other
part to it is I was debating going wide receiver there.
The difference is is I have Saquon Barkley and Tier
one and running backs, and I was alady to tier
two of my wide receivers, and I thought about actually
neither of the wide receivers you mentioned. I was thinking
about going a mom around Saint Brown, especially in a
full point PPR. I think people are giving him too
much hate for last year and he was still a
top seven wide receiver. The guy was number one or
(06:42):
two or two or three two years ago. If you
go between them, Yeah, Detroit, what alligator? What take my arm? Anyway?
But like, I'm not that concerned about Barkley with the workload.
This goes to like that if nobody is concerned about
Derrick Henry and I know he's another freak of nature
body size, but like Derrick Henry's coming off how many
(07:04):
touches for how many years in a row, and everybody's like, oh,
one year, Saquon Barkley, I'm out, Like I just I
don't get.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
It, all right, you know, you realijake, You could have
taken them on Rossaint Brown, right, you had that choice.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
High out That's what I was saying. I was saying
I was considering wide receiver. I was going with my
tier one running back because I still had one left,
and that being Saquon Barkley. Seeing what the running backs
that were still on the board in round two, I
would have, if I could hindsight go back take Saint
Brown and then taking a running back that was there,
like Bucky Irving or Chase Brown.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
Joe, put the hand sanitizer down and focus on the show.
Speaker 6 (07:36):
Please pulling a lot of good lines out of that
bad t.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
Yeah, right, the same.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
Thing, Bro, I was thinking the same bans. Uh. Here's
the fun thing too.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
After Saquon Barkley, Elite Neighbors goes to Scott Bogman. So, Bob,
let's talk about your one oh seven pick here of
Malik Neighbors.
Speaker 7 (07:56):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
As we are in PPR PPR baby pp all of
this and this.
Speaker 5 (08:00):
Dude had so many targets last year with horrific quarterback play.
How many targets is he going to have this season
with improved I'm not gonna say good improved quarterback play
from what Russell Wilson and Jackson Dart, I think it's
could be substantial, So, uh, I was gonna take Barkley,
and I was actually kind of surprised that Jake took
(08:20):
Barkley too.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
It so was Jake.
Speaker 6 (08:23):
Malik Neighbors is a great backup price here.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
Yeah, Jake was also very surprise he took Barkley, Davon
h and it went away Pukaku at one on nine,
Christian McCaffrey won ten, Ashton Genty at eleven.
Speaker 7 (08:33):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
And then i'man Rossaint Brown, Bright Thomas at the turn
as a sexy turn there for team twelve. Derreck Henry
goes uh two O two, then Nico Collins, Drake London,
Jackson Smith and Jig but and then brock Bauer is
the big man at tight end at two oh six
to Scott Bogman. Let's talk about that, uh Gino Smith
already falling in love with his new tight end here
brock Bowers.
Speaker 5 (08:55):
Yeah, and I think, uh, you know, just like Malik Neighbors,
you're gonna see he potentially improved numbers from Rock Bowers
from the upgraded quarterback. It was Aid and O'Connell last season,
which was just a miserable combination. So obviously this whole
offense is going to change over ash and Genty is
going to be leading it. He's going to be the
(09:16):
main guy there. But I think Bowers is going to
lead in targets by a wide margin among tight ends
this season. And I'm not the biggest Geno guy, but
I love Geno being in Vegas to throw to my guy,
Brock Bowers, because he is a marked improvement over what
they had last.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
Jake Seey begins his Philadelphia Eagle stack here AJ Brown
at two o seven, So in for a penny, in
for a pound.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
I actually kind of like.
Speaker 1 (09:41):
This because if Barkley's out, well you got to throw
the football more so at least somebody else is going
to eat here. But AJ Brown here at two oh
seven certainly a value you can't pass up. You had
Lad McConkie there as well, he went next to Welsh.
So were you happy with this selection, Jake, that you
made or did you want to undo this one too?
Just curious?
Speaker 2 (09:58):
No, I think people are forgetting how good AJ Brown
has been. I just you know what, like last year
he points per game top ten wide receiver, and everybody's yeah,
I don't want a J Brown. He's too touchdown, big
play reliant and like, okay, really it's aj Brown, Like
he's fine, he's top ten every single year, went healthy.
Just because he played thirteen games last year. I get it.
Maybe I say all this, I'm just giving me all
(10:19):
the Eagles injury. I went to draft Jalen Hurst put
him on my team.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
Next. I'm gonna say you can right now, he's on
the board in four oh seven and you're on the clock,
So I'll let you contemplate that. Lad McConkie goes to
Welsh ato A, wait, Welsh, what'd you think here about
getting Lad mcconkee here. Certainly a breakout season last year
as a rookie, my favorite sleeper last season, certainly now
a second round pick. That's a pretty good leap from
(10:42):
year one to year two.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
I'm ecstatic about it. I'm super super high on lad McConkie.
To get him to fall into that mid round is
absolutely perfect for team construction because I'm also you know,
when you get into the full PPR there are some
slight changes.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
You know.
Speaker 3 (10:56):
We're just heavily focused obviously on receptions. Eighty two catches
on a hunt undred and twelve targets this past season
in sixteen games that was wide receiver thirteen in full PPR.
I think he's going to surpass that. I think he's
going to touch one hundred and you're talking about high
end wide receiver one upside. So to get him as
my number two to go with Jamiir Gibbs where I
get the running in receiving upside, loving the early construction,
(11:17):
and I was like, please take Aj Brown, Please take
Aj Brown, so I could get Lad mccaky. But I
was in a good situation where when it was coming
up to you guys, I had either McConkie, Brown or
McBride like I was going to be able to kind
of move in any of those directions. And Lad fell
in my lap and he was my easy pick.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
All right. I took Tyreek Hill right after, because again
I just think the hate has gone a little too
far on Tyreek Hill. Last year disappointing, sure, but when
you consider the disappointment is back to back seventeen hundred
yard seasons, this is something maybe above nine hundred and
fifty nine last year in six thouchdowns. I think so,
I think there is and I think there's something else
there potentially, So justin Jefferson, Tyreek Hill the same thing
(11:55):
I did last time, which is, if I'm going to
be somewhere and you give me Chasin Hill or Justin
Jefferson Hill, I'm gonna take that because Hill is my
number two. I just can't pass that up. Bucky Irving
get two ten, the Garrett Wilson at two eleven, Jonathan
Taylor are to twelve, followed by three oh one Josh Jacobs,
trade McBride, Alvin Kamara back to me and I went
wide receiver again, big wide receiver build Joey P. DeVante
(12:16):
Adams at three oh four. He's a number two in
this Rams offense this year, but if hukn Akum miss
his time, he becomes that one. And DeVante Adams just
look man. In the last five years, he is one
of the top guys, just consistently every year. I didn't
see any drop off. Really last year eighty five receptions,
eight touchdowns over a thousand yards for him, and now
he's playing with Matthew Stafford. Hopefully that back holds up.
He doesn't need that backy out of me. Next up
(12:38):
is t Higgins for the Welsh TUH three to five
along with Lad mcconkee.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
It's a pretty good start withch Meir Gibbs. What do
you think of this build so far?
Speaker 1 (12:46):
Welsh?
Speaker 3 (12:47):
Yeah, I wanted to get two wide receivers in those
first two, especially if you're going to make an investment
on the early running backs.
Speaker 4 (12:53):
And T Higgins was.
Speaker 3 (12:54):
Just another one of those guys who fell. I'm like, okay,
I'm gonna absolutely take that. Obviously, we know the highest
pass attempts in the NFL from Joe Burrow. We know
there's going to be a plethora of targets that are
going to be out there. And of his last five games,
or actually of his last four games, three of those
were top fifteen finishes with a number one overall, So
(13:16):
it's really it's a huge volume play, even as a
number two wide receiver. And to get him in the
third round, lock it up there with Lad mccacky.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
That's what she.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
This.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
Xander Schoffley, come on, those were great when we kept
trying to.
Speaker 4 (13:28):
Pull that was a classic original joke. They got too.
That's great.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
Oh my god. All right, let's get to the next

Speaker 1 (15:05):
So let's get back to the picks, gentlemen, and right
now on the draft board here after t Higgins, Jake
seely Terry McLaurin. I love this value here he's holding in.
I'm holding my breath that they're gonna get a deal
because they need Terry McLaurin. And I just think this
is just silly here at this point. So hopefully everything
gets done. I'm not worried about any phantom injuries or
(15:26):
any nonsense. I think it's all just employee. So I
love this start here for you. You got your big
time running back, you got your two wide receiver ones
very heavy NFC East Jake Sealy very heavy and.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
Oh yeah, I got go to FC East. Yeah, you
get to face the giants, but they might actually have
a pressure this year. This year, Look the Terry McLaurin thing.
Speaker 1 (15:43):
There's just value.
Speaker 2 (15:44):
It just comes down to everything you just said and
the fact that Deebo Samuel whatever he has left in
his tank, is just gonna do what they needed last year.
And that's somebody to step as the two because they
had a bunch of Jabbroni's out there as the two's
last year. They tried to make Luke McCaffrey. They brought
back what's his nuts at the end of the year,
what the heck is his name? The one they played
for Jamison Crowder. They were just trying things at that
(16:05):
number two option. And that Deebo is going to open
things up for Terry downfield more. And I think that
everybody's concerned about the touchdown efficiency from last year. I
don't see necessarily as big as a drop off because
of that. I think that Deebo just answers the question
of who's the two that can help Terry McLaurin repeat
last year, if not improve.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
Yeah, wow, that was a good poll there. I like
that you get enough of selections there with Jamison Crowder
being available there, Okay, let's get back here on the
board after we have this selection of Term McLaurin. Then
back to U Scott Bogman Chase Brown at three seven.
So Brown obviously another one too who folks are looking
(16:43):
for all getting and replace him, you know, maybe the
beginning of the year. Last year, Zach Moss was in
that rotation with him. But I feel like everyone keeps
making excuses Scott Bogman, and I feel like Chase Brown
just keeps falling. And I think that at three oh seven,
that's a pretty good value.
Speaker 5 (16:56):
Yeah, And that was really the point of taking him,
as I think, you know, after you guys kind of
drained the wide receiver value here, I was looking at
the board and who's best, and I think it was,
you know, the running backs, whether it was you know,
I don't care who you pick out of Chase Brown,
Kyrane Breesall, James Cook, any of those guys. But I
thought it was pretty clear take one of those guys.
(17:18):
I didn't have a running back yet or maybe reached
for a QB, and then three qbs went immediately after
I took Chase Brown.
Speaker 1 (17:26):
Yeah, runs are a pain in the ass. That happened
sometimes here out of program. Let's get the rest of
the picks here. As we get to the turn, we
have Kien Williams and Lamar Jackson at three Z nine
back to back with Josh Allen at three ten. Then
Mike Evans gets selected Jayden Daniels at three twelve, and
then four to one DJ Moore Jake. Some rumblings there
early that DJ Moore is getting, you know, rave reviews
(17:48):
from Ben Johnson. He reminds here a lot of armand raw.
Could we see a huge season here in twenty twenty
five from DJ Moore.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
I'm actually out on DJ Moore as a huge season.
I just think it's not the with DJ Moore. I
think it's everybody. There's talent across the entire landscape of
that team, where you and I talked about this almost
like a month ago. At this point, it's not that
I don't like DJ Moore, but I think of Donsday
is a threat. I think Burden is a threat, and
the reason why is because all of them can be
among around Saint Brown. I think two different levels. If
(18:17):
you had a pecking order, you'd probably say DJ Moore first,
but they can all play inside, they can all play
outside again to differing levels of execution. But I just
think it might be a wide receiver by committee when
we're not even including the fact that Colston Lovelin is
going to be involved, that passes to the backfield. I
just think that buy the cake, not the icing by
Caleb Williams, and then just take the cheapest of the
wide receivers for the Bears and then invest there.
Speaker 1 (18:40):
I like cake, ice cream, I like them both, but
you know what do I know diabetes? Let's get that's
their thing.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
I screaming cake and cake and I screaming. It's the
worst song ever. That ODO is terrible.
Speaker 6 (18:53):
Yeah, yeah, the the song, No, it sounded really deep.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
How it go?
Speaker 1 (18:57):
Yeah? I don't think I remember.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
You want to try that again?
Speaker 1 (19:00):
Please?
Speaker 2 (19:00):
Ice cream and cake and cake? Ice cream and cake,
scre acre your cake a scary Yeah? How much in
student loans did you pay to learn that song? Just
out of curiosity that I'm not none, because that's you know.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
Making the ice curtain. He was making the ice screaming
over to you after Mike Evans at three eleven. Then
Jayden Daniels are three twelve, DJ Moore four oh one,
and then round four starts George Kittle after DJ Moore,
Marvin Harrison, James Cook, Bryce Hall, Scott Bogman. DK Metcalf
your number two wide receiver, but the number one in Pittsburgh.
(19:36):
So what do you make of the situation of Sewers
wide receivering core right now? Because clearly it's DK Metcalf
at the top of that trough and then everybody else
behind him. So is that something that makes them just
too predictable potentially here in twenty twenty five.
Speaker 5 (19:51):
I mean, I think that's it could be a fair
argument that maybe they're too predictable. But I do think
that you know, Aaron Rodgers threw still like the fifth
most passes in the league last season.
Speaker 6 (20:02):
Like he's gonna want to throw the ball.
Speaker 5 (20:04):
He's going to change the plays into throws a lot.
They're going to work with him a little bit more
than I think we're giving him credit for, even though
you know the Steelers offense is built to run. Yes,
they're going to run the ball a lot, but I
think Rogers is going to throw a decent amount too,
and I think Metcalf is going to be by far
the leader in targets now catches. He's not going to
have a crazy number, I don't think. But I have
(20:27):
Malik Neighbors already, who was second in targets behind Chase
last year with bad quarterback plays. So I feel like
I've already got receptions, So I'll go ahead and take
DK and open another reception.
Speaker 6 (20:38):
Guy falls to me a little bit later.
Speaker 1 (20:40):
Fair enough after DK Metcalf. Ken Walker to Jake Seale
at four oh seven. So your second running back here. Look,
Walker flashes some great games, but also flashes on the
bench quite a bit with some injuries in those last
two years here since he come in the league. So Jake,
how do you balance that? I mean, obviously, as a
second running back, I think that's much more manageable. He
has never played a full season yet, just eleven games
(21:01):
last year, but fifteen in the previous two. But certainly
we'd like to see him get back to that thousand
yard rushing mark, which he did in his rookie season,
but he hasn't since, and that was in twenty twenty two.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
Yeah, I think the big thing with Keneth Walker is
I reversed course on this. I actually thought there would
be more of a split like sixty forty similar to
what we see with the Steelers. That Charbonnay would be
warm and Kenneth Walker would be Naj Harris obviously more
explosiveness after the catch and just in the open field.
But they're both finding their own right. And then I
talked to Michael Sean Duger of the Athletic and I said, hey,
(21:33):
you cover the Seahawks, you know better than me.
Speaker 1 (21:35):
What are you seeing? What are you hearing?
Speaker 2 (21:36):
Is it going to be timeshare? And he responded back
with kW nine is bell coow? And I said, all right, check,
I'm shifting course here. I'm going to project for a
sixty five seventy percent type of split. And then in
that case, Kenneth Walker was actually a screaming value at
that point in the draft because I have him as
a fringe RB one with that kind of workload. If
you're going to give that kind of workload, Yes, the
injuries are a concern at this point that keeps happening,
(21:58):
similar to Jonathan Taylor, but Jonathan Taylor is still going
as a second rounder, and nobody wants to take Kenneth
Walker there despite them both having similar injury histories. Over
the past three seasons.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
I was ready to take them right there. You took
them two picks before, and that's why we're doing this today,
to have some fun here back and forth. So after Walker,
Chewba Hubbard, another running back, another one of the guys
out of my cube onto Welsh's team at four eight.
So let's talk about this selection. He is your number
two Welsh behind Gibbs.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
Still volume receptions, that's what I want. I really like
what the Panthers did on the back half of the
especially Bryce Youllngan just like refinding himself tet being in
this offense, I think they've got a real real ability
for targets going deeper and it just all goes through
Chewba Hubbard. So chub Hubbard's kind of value here. I
don't care about Rico Dwell Again. Targeting guys that are
(22:45):
not only going to have volume, but are going to
be more of the primary players in the receiving game
is huge. Chub Hubbard's kind of a no brainer. I Also,
I'll tell you one thing I implemented there was I
was paying attention to you who was right behind me,
and you had filled out all your wide receiver spots
and knowing that there were also a multitude of picks
in between. I just felt like the best value was
a running back with still a queue of wide receivers
(23:07):
I like, and I one hundred percent got one of
my top two options coming back knowing that you weren't
going to have a big focus on running backs and
a few other teams as well. There's also some insights
on the draft Wizard that kind of throws out and
lets you know, like, hey, by the way, there's some
teams that have already got this covered or this is
a thing of need. They kind of were throwing out
tight end to me as they were, but Chub Hovert
was like a no brainer, probably the best value at
(23:29):
that point with the amount of receivers that were there.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
And one of those tools is draft Intel, which is
a tool that shows you how your league mates actually
draft to So if you have five years of real
data from your league, right've been playing a league with
the same folks for many years, you can sink your
leagues and then basically what draft Intel will do was
we'll tell you the tendencies of all of those folks.
You know, who likes a draft quarterback early, who likes
to go zero RB all that stuff, and then it'll
(23:53):
create bots that you could draft against. So you're not
just drafting against randoms. You're really drafting against bots that
are geared towards the way your draft and your league's
gonna go. And you can only find that a Fantasy pro.
So go check that out fantasypros dot com, slash Intel.
That is the way to take your drafting to the
next level. Those are the kind of tools that are
gonna make a difference because, look, this is all very
useful the expert consensus, but when you could really make
(24:14):
it league specific, and I mean league specific, not what
you're scoring, but with the actual people in your league,
that's where things really get to the next level. Those
are the cheat codes. Baby Omarion Hampton is my selection
at four oh nine. It's not the guy I wanted,
but it's the guy that I will settle for happily,
a young running back that I think is going to
emerge as the number one there over time. However, the
Najie Harris slow start to camp here with the little
(24:37):
fireworks incident makes me a little bit more Omar and
Hampton curious these days. So at four oh nine. I'm
happy to take him as my first running back. Here
Joe Burrow at four nine, excuse me, four to ten.
Then Jalen Hurts, Jalen Waddle. Then you have Davonta Smith
at five oh one, Calvin Ridley a five ht two,
Rushie Rice at five oh three. I won another wide receiver,
Cortland Sutton, who just got paid today. I keep telling
(24:58):
everybody like, this is the guy. Hey, stop trying to
make excuses, Stop trying to sell me on Veley and
Mims and a tight end that was hurt all last
year and Evan Ingram, like sure, maybe those guys will
help out. The guy is Courtland Sutton. One hundred and
thirty five targets last year, eighty one receptions, eight touchdowns.
I think that's pretty much a copy and paste season
with a little bit of room for more. Next up
is the Welsh. You took Zay Flowers at five.
Speaker 4 (25:20):
To five, one of my big targets.
Speaker 3 (25:22):
Like I said, I looked and I was looking at Flowers,
I was looking at Sutton, I was looking at Teoha.
Speaker 4 (25:27):
Those were the main guys. But Flowers is a wide receiver.
Speaker 1 (25:31):
Three.
Speaker 3 (25:31):
I mean, get out of here, absolutely, get out of
here with Lamar Jackson's ability to not only like you know,
avoid interceptions, but like the volume that he had, the
efficiency that he had last year.
Speaker 4 (25:43):
Say, Flowers is the guy.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
They're still going to get the ball to Mark Andrews
and you're gonna get isaa likely in there, but he
is the guy.
Speaker 4 (25:50):
He's the big play option as well.
Speaker 3 (25:52):
I would say some of his value may be held
down by the lack of touchdowns final six games of
the season not having touchdowns, But I love a volume
play here, and I think it's like tremendous upside from
a relative position value, as the Great Joe Piece of
Pia would say. As a wide receiver three, Zay Flowers
is absolutely at the tippy top of the list. So
if I was getting Sutton or him, that was really
(26:12):
my main target. Nick Millan is also what I'm super
happy with, but I got one of my main targets
and Flowers, so it really worked out.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
Yeah, and the RPV you're doing right now is exactly
hisself I'm doing too, So I have Jefferson my wide
receiver one. As a one, Tyreek Hill could easily be
the top three overall guy, top five overall guy he's
my wide receiver to that creasy advantage saying things Adams
as my three. He is more of a one A.
So that's a huge advantage on a weekly basis. So
even though I'm hurting and running back, I am, you know,
(26:38):
I'm gonna take some shots. Hopefully things work out, and
that's got the most turnover anyway, So we'll see if
I can make this risky running back room work. But
Cortland Sutton another guy who is you know, a guy
who finished last year right outside you know, the top
twelve at wide receiver fifteen. He is my four. So
I'm very happy with how this is going. Zay Flowers
then Xavier Worthy to Jake Seely, So, Jake, what do
(26:59):
you make of the situation here? As we kind of
await rushi Rice Doom, I feel like this is every
year now and it's getting a little old. But Xavier
Worthy certainly a guy that you know you saw some
flashes towards the end of last year and into the playoffs.
Your expectations for him in twenty twenty five, how good
can he be? Last year wide receiver thirty three?
Speaker 2 (27:19):
Well, why receiver thirty three? But what I was saying
before this possible suspension that all of a sudden popped
back up. A lot of people were talking twenty twenty six,
and I'm not one of those legal experts, but it
sounds like it's somewhere going to probably six to eight games.
But the point being before that is like, look at
the end of worthy season, the end of it. It
was the end of Rice's rookie season that everybody was
(27:39):
getting bananas and excited for. And I'm not saying Rice
didn't start like gangbusters last year, but he also started
before the fact that Worthy was really involved a lot,
and then Worthy had the end of the season with
no Rice. And I'm not saying I want to take
Rice over Worthy. I'm just saying I expected more of
a share between the two of them, And everybody's saying
that Rashi Rice was just gonna walk into one hundred
and thirty plus targets just because he was back and
(28:01):
questionably healthy. So I think Worthy with no Rashi Rice
has similar upside to do a lot of the similar things.
And actually think that if you were talking about both
of them being on the field, Rice would be more
of the intermediate option, with Worthy more of what we
used to see from Tyrek Hill again, not calling him
Tyrek Hill, I'm just saying that I think there's a
lot of upside for Worthy that was already there before,
and now even more so with the suspension to have
(28:23):
him here, he's not going to be there in three
to four weeks.
Speaker 1 (28:26):
Boggs, I love what you did with the next pick
five h seven Teed McMillan, because that's a guy I
think he's going to get a ton of volume there.
His receiving prop this year is ridiculous. Sorry, Like I've
already bet the over on it because it's just absurd.
You've seen these wide receivers come in the league and
drop thousand yard receiving seasons, and it feels like he
will be the main target for Bryce Young this year
and he is your wide receiver three.
Speaker 5 (28:46):
Yeah, And it makes me feel like I really threaded
the needle here because I went with Molik Neighbors with
all the targets right, and then I went with DK Metcalf,
who you know, he's more of a big play touchdown guy.
And then you know, I was thinking, well, look, if
Sutton doesn't fall back to me, maybe Flowers may be Worthy.
But I prefer tet because I feel like he's gonna
(29:07):
get just peppered with targets. With Carolina, we talked about
how bad that defense is still, and you know how
they just they're looking for number one and there should
be playing from behind a lot. And I think McMillan's
gonna be peppered with targets this season. So I thought
it really threaded the needle and I was happy that
I still got him. You know in this row of
(29:27):
sharks here, well, you.
Speaker 1 (29:29):
Know that they're all lined up together here. I'll, by
the way, I'm really piss at you because the next
round you took the guy that I wanted, and we're
gonna have words here. Chris o'lave five O way, then
Joe Mix and Sam Laporta, Jamison Williams getting a lot
of positive buzz in camp this year. DeAndre Swift at
five twelve, followed by R. J. Harvey at six oh one.
I guess Team twelve is the de Brobot, Patrick Mahomes
(29:49):
at six h two, James Connor, Travis Hunter, Jerry Judy,
and then at six oh six, the guy that I thought,
oh slam dunk, I'm definitely gonna get Trevon Henderson. No,
I'm not the Scott Bogman took him from me, and
I am pissed off. This is the big play guy,
this is the explosive guy. He doesn't have to be
the every down back for me. But this is a
guy that I'm targeting as one of my RB two's
(30:10):
for sure, and you must be happy to get him
here as yours.
Speaker 5 (30:13):
Yeah, a little bit of a risk, right, because Ramandre
is still there so for a rookie season, just a
touch of a risk. But a guy that is killer
in pass pro and killer as a pass receiver as well,
So getting him in a PPR league I think makes
a lot of sense here as my number two, and
hopefully I can back him up.
Speaker 6 (30:32):
With some you know, floor players in the next couple
of rounds.
Speaker 2 (30:35):
So he wasn't getting to you because I was pissed
that he took him.
Speaker 4 (30:39):
Also upset, so he was at the top of my cue.
Speaker 1 (30:42):
So we're all, Bogman, we all hate you, So I
hope you're enjoying that. David Montgomery went to Jake Sealley
next at six oh seven. Some people say, oh, a
touchdown aggression is not gonna have blah blah, blah, he's
not gonna score as many touchdowns, but I'm kind of
in the I believe it when I see a camp
at this point with him. I mean back to back
years of double digits. I think he could easily do
that again. And this is your third RB on this team, right,
(31:04):
Curious why go RB here when you had upside wide
receivers still out there like a Dudnesay, like Pickens and
Chris Godwin still on the board. Jake, I'm just curious
from a roster perspective, while you made that move.
Speaker 2 (31:15):
I'll go back to something at the top. And this
is why everybody should do the mock draft simulator. Look
at that. I'm even man of the people, just like
you guys. You I wanted to see what the rosters
construction would end up like that, just because I was
looking at Montgomery and only about one or two other
running backs. I was going to go Henderson if Bogs
let him go, just because that upside third option with
the risk of Kenneth Walker's health. And I'm with you
that David Montgomery might be getting too much hate at
(31:37):
this point to where he's a decent value. I don't
think I'll replicate last season. But at this point, I'll
look it at the cost between the two wide receiver
and running back, and I said, I'll take a running back.
Let's see what comes back around another one where I
probably would have gone wide receiver and come back around
it looks like the running backs are dropping again. This
is a mock. Eight of these teams aren't real people,
but they're pretty well simulated. I just I think it's
(31:58):
what you're saying there is like why did I do it?
Because I to try it out. I wanted to see
I would probably do something different next time around.
Speaker 6 (32:03):
Why they not be real? But it won't stop jac
from hating Why No, I hate teammates.
Speaker 2 (32:08):
He's like, I hate team eight for round seven when
we get to it, or actually round eight when you
get to it, round eight, eight oh five?
Speaker 1 (32:14):
All right, let's move on here. Next pick. Here was
another running back that I thought, Okay, if I can't
get Trevian Henderson, i'll get Caleb Johnson. No wrong, sorry,
because Welch too came at six, so eight.
Speaker 6 (32:25):
You get into the interesting part now.
Speaker 1 (32:26):
Now we're having fought round six of the draft.
Speaker 2 (32:29):
I was considering Caleb too.
Speaker 1 (32:31):
This is again, here's what I'm pisseding you guys. There
are both your third running backs. You guys are doing
too and I'm still looking at one. So this really
irritated MENA.
Speaker 3 (32:39):
That's the best thing on the planet, accomplished all the
value of running backs. Nope, I want to have a
core three guy. I thought about Montgomery because I have
because I have Gibbs. But I was locked into Trevion Henderson,
especially in this format. I think he's gonna get balls
out of the backfield as far in the air. And
Caleb Johnson, I just is like one of my top guys.
(33:00):
Travion I think has some higher upside play. But I
think Caleb can immediately just walk into that Naji Harris
role be a guy in the red zone.
Speaker 4 (33:08):
So to have a little bit of protection. I did
have a really big.
Speaker 3 (33:12):
Quandary though you mentioned George Pickens. I was like Pickens
or Caleb, Pickens or Caleb. I thought there was still
some value at wide receiver. I went with Caleb, but
I will tell you it just went like all the
guys I was hoping one would fall back, not a
single one fell back.
Speaker 1 (33:26):
So that was brtal ice cream a cake, no please, no, never,
Oh my God, Seriously, I have no idea what that was.
By the way, fun fact, I never knew this. I
told Walsh this this morning because we were talking about
leading off. I never noticed, and all the times I
saw Happy Gilmore that Chubbs was wearing all Lacoste stuff
with a little alligator on it his shirts.
Speaker 4 (33:48):
His sweater was his awesome son character in two.
Speaker 1 (33:50):
Also his son character two is terrible. But that's really
funny looking back on it, And I never noticed, have you, bobs?
Did you ever notice that that he was wearing stuff
with the alligator on it. Stee's got a million of
those shirts.
Speaker 6 (34:01):
I knew he had, like the yellow sweaters, yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
But they were all they were all little ones with
the allegator.
Speaker 5 (34:07):
But I didn't realize it was everything more No Jack Nicholas,
But I get that a lot, all right.
Speaker 2 (34:15):
After Caleb Johnson starts on that random lines.
Speaker 1 (34:19):
Just to make Welsh irritated, Yeah, I I pivoted completely.
Speaker 2 (34:25):
T J.
Speaker 1 (34:25):
Hawkinson. Yes, I've just justin Jefferson too, So that's fine.
I'm in for a penny, in for a pound, just
like Seally here with his Eagles. But again, if you're
gonna invest in good offenses. Invest in the ones that
you believe in and the players you believe in. And
I think Hawkinson is gonna benefit a great deal with
the rookie quarterback too. You see it time and time again,
rookie QB's come in and really lean on those tight ends.
So I think that's gonna be a good move for me. Uh.
(34:47):
And then after that selection, I'm gonna have to make
my pick right here. Uh, Jake, while I'm making my pick,
will you muse for me for a moment about the
Jacksonville Jaguars backfield, especially now that we are looking at
you know, Liam Cohne being there. How you see that
working out between the three guys Toutin and of course
Bigsby and ATM.
Speaker 2 (35:07):
I see it as just take him at cost right now,
because they're all worthwhile costs. Like it could be Bigsby,
who looked better than Etn last year. Could be Etn, who's,
by the way, been on passing downs in two minute
drills and was just two years ago top five running
back in fantasy. And yes, that was very first half
of the season heavy. But I think the answer there
is like I want one of those two and just
take whichever one's going cheaper between the two because I
(35:28):
had Tooton concerns before this. You guys know this, Like
I really thought that he might be a timeshare piece
at best as a rookie. I do think he can
be like Tyrone Tracy was last year, but that's when
a lot of things fell into Tyrone Tracy's lap is
and like you know, Devin Singletary was toast if Etn
and Bigsby looked like trash. Sure, let's talk Tooton, but
I just don't think it will be at this point.
I think we're gonna see that they're looking for an answer.
(35:50):
But let's also remember that it wasn't like he completely
went to Bucky Irving last year. It was most of
the season that he still had Rashad White involved. So
I think people are maybe a little too optimistic thinking
they're going to get a Bucky Irving with the Jaguars
when it could just be, hey, a very nice low
level RB two and be happy with that because at
cost for Bigsby or Etn, you're getting hell value back
(36:11):
on both of them if either one of them are
after TJ.
Speaker 1 (36:14):
Hawkins and Chris Godwin goes. I was back and forth
on that one. If I had to do it again,
I probably would have taken Godwin though, but too many reads,
too much going on, Khalil Shakir, No excuses, no excuses.
I'm still going to win this draft. Jacoby Myers ends
the sixth round, beginning the seventh round Baker Mayfield at
seven oh one. Then George Pickens Roma dunze I selected
Tony Poward is my RB two at seven oh four.
Speaker 2 (36:33):
I feel pretty decent about that.
Speaker 1 (36:34):
Again, Taji spears, I do find myself in recent mock drafts,
and I just did one with our Discord folks right
before coming on here, and I find myself starting to
draft a lot more, Taji spears. So we'll see how
that goes for me. But look, thousand yards rushing last year,
thousand yards rushing in twenty twenty three, one thousand yard
rushing season in twenty twenty two. So for all the
Tony Pollard haters out there, suck it like, I mean,
(36:55):
what are we doing here? Why are we keep hating
on Tony Pollard? So I'll take that value. Then he
had back to back tight ends. Look at this, Travis
Kelsey to the Welsh and Evan Ingram to Jake Seely
a class.
Speaker 2 (37:06):
I only did that for you, Joe. Anybody knows so
I could say.
Speaker 1 (37:10):
Evan Ingram, oh my god. So for those of you
who don't know, believe it or not after listening to
the show, Jake Seely not a being indulger of the
you know, the the alcoholic beverages or the fun things
that one might on occasion.
Speaker 4 (37:25):
Smoke was just not a big fun guy.
Speaker 2 (37:28):
He's not a big guy.
Speaker 1 (37:28):
It's not big on fun.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
I was seam punks before seeing punk, was seeing punk.
Speaker 1 (37:31):
That's right, straight edge. But one but what Jake's superpower
is as hilarious is when he is overtired. That is
the equivalent of Jake on a substance, and it is
the funniest thing ever. And one time we were doing
a radio show together and he just kept screaming Evan
Ingram and no one understood what the contact was and
he just kept laughing, and we were all really concerned
that somebody put something in his hit, his mineral water
(37:54):
or something was going on there.
Speaker 6 (37:55):
It was his mineral.
Speaker 1 (37:58):
Can I get a hint? I like that hint, which
is a little bit of grapefruit flavor, just a little bit,
not too much, not too much. I don't want to
throw Jake's equilibrium off. But let's get to the first
tight end selected here, because the first one here was
Travis Kelsey. So Kelsey at the edge of the career here, Well,
shwhy go Kelsey over? Let's say all the touchdowns of
(38:18):
Mark Andrews last year or the upside potentially of Evan
Ingram with the Broncos.
Speaker 3 (38:22):
Yeah, I mean he is not as good of a
tight end as he is an astute actor as that
great waiter role.
Speaker 1 (38:29):
Is that why you took him just because he was
in the movie b oh, I got to get.
Speaker 4 (38:33):
Him some more work here.
Speaker 3 (38:34):
A phenomenal acting job he did, having honey smeared all
over him.
Speaker 4 (38:38):
That was really great. But more than anything else, is
that that's.
Speaker 2 (38:42):
What we're there for. Draft Reggie Bush next. If I could, I.
Speaker 4 (38:46):
Didn't even know he was in it eotball eight minutes ago.
Speaker 1 (38:49):
But it's the.
Speaker 3 (38:50):
Catches, Like in a half PPR format, I actually would
have gone Ingram over him. But he still finished tight
end five with having three total touchdowns and being a
shell of himself. He is going to we want to
talk about getting peppered with targets. He's going to get
peppered with targets this year. Now, the quality of the
catches are in question. I would say him coming off
(39:11):
of like the lowest touchdown total of his career. I
think outside of his rookie season, there's a positive regression
touchdown element to this, as long as he can, you know,
stay healthy and maybe lay off a couple of those
awesome acting jobs.
Speaker 4 (39:21):
But like all those catches in full PPR, that's the
difference to jump him up.
Speaker 3 (39:26):
I was really considering another wide receiver at that point,
but I thought it was too good to pass up
because we just know he's gonna have ninety plus catches.
Speaker 6 (39:33):
You said, it's simply too good, simply.
Speaker 1 (39:35):
Too good, all right, Evan Ingram. Everybody keeps making the
easy equation. Hey, you know bo Nicks at low a dot,
Let's go get Evan Ingram. There another target for him
that can be that lower intermediate target. So are you
buying that narrative not just because it's a funny pick
because of our history together with Evan Ingram where you
just scream it intermittently for no reason. But Evan Ingram
(39:57):
here potentially coming off a down year because of injury. However,
the year before that, nine hundred and sixty three yards
four touchdowns, he was tight end to that season.
Speaker 2 (40:06):
Well, he's going to be the joker. So yeah, everybody's
super excited about this. This is one where I'm with you.
I like, I don't want to say ninety percent of
it was just to make the joke with the relevance
between you and me going back to the days. But
I would not normally take Ingram there. Maybe I just
did take a chance the PPR he is, But I
think this is gonna be another one some of them.
My argument about the Bears, but even more so is
(40:26):
it's Curtland Sutton and then everybody like they're talking up Villy,
they're talking up Pat Bryant as a rookie, they're talking
about oh so Troy Flanklin's got connection again that bo
Nicks had to be back in college, and then r J.
Harvey at the back. I think this could be. Yeah,
he could be the joker, but that doesn't mean the
joker that he had with Jimmy Graham. This isn't going
to be one hundred and forty targets, which if you
go to Evan Ingram, he really needs about one hundred
(40:48):
and ten one hundred and twenty just to get that
top ten ballot.
Speaker 6 (40:51):
Joker.
Speaker 2 (40:52):
Yes, this is the litto the second No. No, I
was gonna say, I was gonna say the Second Joker movie.
But yeah, that's a good one too. The letter that
basically the musical. But it's worth a chance. What if
he is what if he does get one hundred and
ten hundred and twenty targets, then it's fine in the
seventh round, but I'd probably still wait to the end
rounds to take like a Lovelin or a flyer on
Breton Stranger or something like that.
Speaker 4 (41:11):
Would you have taken Kelsey if if I had taken anything?
Speaker 2 (41:14):
Actually? Yes, actually I Kelsey? Ready to go?
Speaker 1 (41:17):
Okay, good, there you go. Next pick. Here you have
after the two tight ends. Isaiah Pachecko at seven oh
seven to Scott Bogmans of bogs Let's discuss this one here,
Isaiah Pachecko. Again, you're going very running back heavy. Now.
Is this just the pivot because of all the wide
receivers I've taken, or just to make a statement here
about your approach even at a PPR.
Speaker 5 (41:38):
League, No, I mean this is you know, I have
my three starting wide receivers and a starting tight end
at this point, so I waited the longest to get
my second starting running back, which was Traveon Henderson. As
I mentioned last time, you know, the variants could be
enormous for him, specifically to start this season. So I
just went with Isaiah Pacheco here because I think he's
(41:59):
completely underrated, and I thought there were a grip of
wide receivers I wanted to come back to me that
all got drafted before my next pick, so I ended
up going with another RB. But the whole point to
taking Pachecko was I think he is being overlooked a
little bit, and this is the depth I like at
running back right here is this range because I think
there's a lot of good ones left, which makes me
(42:20):
more willing to take that tight end risk earlier in
the draft like I did with Brock Powers.
Speaker 1 (42:26):
Yeah, I'm starting to warm up to the idea of
Brock Bowers, especially in some of the super flex leagues too,
where that value gets pushed a little bit and sometimes
you're like, oh, you know, late second, early third, all
of a sudden, maybe I can make that work a
little bit differently looking at the rest of the picks.
Here after Bogman's selection of Pachecko, we have Mark Andrews,
Jordan Addison, Juan Jennings, Aaron Jones, and then Stefan Diggs
(42:48):
looks really good so far in training camp seven to
twelve fall by Ricky Piersoll at eight oh one, then
Josh Downs, Michael Pittman, Deebo, Samuel Justin Fields and then
Scott Bogman went running back again six. You know this
isn't a standard league, Bogs just want to make sure.
Speaker 5 (43:03):
Yeah, I understand. Well, see the problem here was between
Pachecko and the Brian Robinson pick. You know, there were
ten guys that went between there, and I had Addison, Jennings, Diggs,
and Piercell all ready to go.
Speaker 6 (43:19):
Even Deebo was.
Speaker 5 (43:20):
Kind of in the back of my mind on that list,
and they all went in front of me. So to me,
it was between Brian Robinson and you know some rookies
that I like that went and uh, some vets, but
Brian Robinson was just clearly the best player left to me,
so I had to go ahead and take him because
he was.
Speaker 2 (43:39):
Are you kidding me?
Speaker 6 (43:41):
God?
Speaker 4 (43:41):
I know same here. I just went, ah, Bogman's such
a a guy.
Speaker 1 (43:47):
You like the pick or you don't like the pick.
Speaker 2 (43:49):
We both just got.
Speaker 4 (43:51):
Yeah, we're far behind in the draft.
Speaker 2 (43:54):
But we both just got Joe. You've liked Joe snipe
me on two running backs in a row, and then
freak Bogs just took the wide receivers.
Speaker 1 (44:01):
Ready to like the same, spoil out everyone, let's run
through these things. I didn't say their name and Jake
Seally at eight oh seven, Matthew Golden is the selection.
Go ahead, talk about Matthew Golden here and I'll go
make my pick.
Speaker 2 (44:13):
Yeah, fun, I don't even want to anymore. Matthew Golden
off to look the collection of wide receivers for the Packers.
There's been talk about whether or not they're going to
pass more this year and get back to what they
like to do. Even if they don't, we're really looking
for Golden to step in and be what they hope
Christian Watson could be, and that's healthy but also a
big play threat and their number one. Do I think
he's a true number one? No, but I do. I
(44:34):
think he has the best upside. Be the one and
then push Reed and Dobbs to the two. Slash three
and the rest there.
Speaker 1 (44:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (44:40):
Absolutely, and a PPR probably not as interesting in a
non PPR as Golden could be, because I think Golden
could push top thirty even top twenty five in a
non point PPR or non PPR. But I think Golden
should be immediately they're amber one option. I think he
has potentially hit thousand yards and six seven touchdowns as
a rookie.
Speaker 1 (45:00):
She took the well whatever's left of Cooper Cup? It
ate a wait, a little surprising there. Let's talk about
that certainly. I mean the injuries alone concerning but again,
new situation battle offensive line here, potentially Sam Donald playing quarterback,
why the Cooper Cup pick here?
Speaker 4 (45:16):
Receptions?
Speaker 3 (45:16):
Again, if this is half PPR, my interest is probably
a tiny bit lower. But I think Cooper Cup provides
a floor. I don't see Donald as a negative. I
would also see, you know, maybe some overall port defense
or even offense is just going to be have them
slanging the ball a whole bunch. So I mean, Cooper
Cup is probably not going to be obviously a big
deep threat guy, but he's still going to get his targets.
(45:38):
So I don't think it's this huge ceiling play here,
but this is wide receiver four for me. And you'll
also see the play I do with the next pick
as well, that this is kind of a bi week
floor player.
Speaker 4 (45:49):
If things work on.
Speaker 3 (45:50):
The positive, he has some health, he's revived, Donald gets
them ramping up. Maybe I have a couple more points
on the upside, but I think there's a relative floor.
He's catching four or five games unless he's completely broken
and they got themselves a lemon. I really think it's
a wide receiver for Cooper. Cup isn't like the worst
place to be. But I was also caught in that
previous range. I wanted, like Addison, there's a bunch of guys.
(46:11):
I wanted that we had this huge wide receiver run.
Speaker 4 (46:13):
So I had to play a little bit of a
pivotvot all.
Speaker 1 (46:16):
Right, Travis Aten goes to me at eighth nine, then
Jalen Warren, Taji Spears goes next. I was hoping he
would make it back to me so I could command
the Titans backfield. But more on that in just a second.
Speaker 2 (46:26):
And Mega Buka goes to the end of the eighth
round nine oh one, Jaden Reed, JK.
Speaker 1 (46:30):
Dobbins, Naji Harris. I took cam skataboo, which is the
equivalent of one of my fingers here in the middle
to Scott Bogman. Here, Brandon, Iuka, that's what you get.
Take a Trevon Henderson for me earlier finger. Uh, it's
it's one of these five. I'm not gonna tell you
which one. Like the ring finger, the ring ring ring,
nothing like a good ring finger. So Brandon a Yuku
(46:51):
goes next to Chris Welsh because Welsh just can't not
take a forty nine or here right Welsh? I mean,
come on, let's go. What could go wrong? A guy
coming off the ACL injury here?
Speaker 4 (47:00):
Sure, wide receiver five? What could go round? Again? I'm
playing upside here man.
Speaker 3 (47:04):
Like I definitely got killed with Kyle Williams, Like that
was the play I wanted to piece with all of this,
and it's like, oh, you got your great upside play.
But I don't need Ayuk for the first six weeks
if I don't want to. I mean, obviously I'm still
mad at you for choking me out, but oh yeah,
but checking this out if I have a decent Cooper
Cup for the first part of the season. And then
(47:25):
he breaks and Brandon Ayyuk is fixed. By that time,
I might be able to piece together a wide receiver
two between floor and upside on both of these players.
So that's the number one theoretical in that offense. Win
healthy and I don't even to think about him for
a long time for my bye week. So it's a
wide receiver five ideal. It's just like it would look
so much better with a guy like Kyle Williams with it.
But that's why I paired kind of Cup and Ayuk
(47:45):
to become one player that is not currently starting.
Speaker 1 (47:47):
On my roster, Jake, why is everyone? I mean, I
like Kyle willins a talent for sure, no doubt about that.
But if history teaches us anything, it's that slot wide
receiver in the Patriots offense is the one you want
for fantasy, and that's probably Demerio Douglas. Isn't that the
odd people should be targeting late?
Speaker 2 (48:01):
I think there's no upside with the Merrow Douglas because
you're not even talking ten to ten yards per reception. Well,
he's gonna he's Wandel Robinson. He's gonna need one hundred
and seventy targets and one hundred and ten receptions. Like
but this is my pp. I'm just saying I want
to go back to some more no, and I don't
think it's going to be him. And I think that
saying that the slot receiver in the Patriots offense is like, oh,
(48:22):
kind of the chicken in the egg. It's like, yeah, well,
two things is that's a different offense from back then.
And I know we have the return, but I don't
know necessarily he's going to run back the exact same
offense just because Rabel's back there and just because McDaniels
is back there. It's also the weapons that are on
the field. You know, we go back to how many
years we were talking about the Eagles, like, oh, they
never use a bell count until they had an option
to be a bell count. I know again Doug Peterson,
(48:43):
different regime, but I'm just bringing up the point Andy
Reid with his running backs, talent matters. You shift it
sometimes because of talent. If you're going down this depth chart,
you just said it. You like Kyle Williams. He has
the most upside. If I'm wrong and I have to
drop him week two, I don't care because now we're
talking my third option on the bench here. If it's
the Miro Douglas. I missed out on Demara Douglas. I'm
not going to care that I missed out on a
(49:03):
wide receiver for that's not going to break and win
my league for me.
Speaker 1 (49:07):
All Right, Darnol Mooney goes to you at nine oh six,
would you like to share?
Speaker 2 (49:10):
You pause? Because I was talking that whole thing. That's
why I messed up with a Darnel Mooney pick is
because I'm in the middle of trying to make a
pick and talk to you at the same time.
Speaker 1 (49:16):
Listen, listen, Pal, I'm recapping picks, making picks. I'm selling
people on.
Speaker 2 (49:21):
And buy you pause your pick like seventeen times.
Speaker 1 (49:28):
All right, why don't you talk?
Speaker 2 (49:30):
You can roll it back up, Jake.
Speaker 1 (49:33):
Jake's having no no, Jake's having a panic attack. I
wanted to talk about Darnal Moody and then very we'll.
Speaker 2 (49:39):
Move on to also, to be fair, Jake Grass for
a thirty seconds, it was and that's all it takes
to get some burn for me. Can you can you?
I'll make my pick, the start it back up, and
then I'll talk Darnal Moody while you guys get ready.
You can get the crash out is is this what
crash out?
Speaker 7 (49:59):
This is what?
Speaker 1 (50:00):
Go ahead and say it, Evan Ingram, say it.
Speaker 6 (50:03):
Say it ice cream and cake Ingram, Ingram.
Speaker 1 (50:11):
Look at it. Look at if he can't even contain himself.
Speaker 4 (50:14):
It's okay the crash.
Speaker 2 (50:15):
I would have actually taken shit heat and not Darnal
Mooney there but similar player, similar upside and just yeah wrong.
Speaker 1 (50:20):
I think he didn't better taken Darnel Mooney. So maybe yeah,
you should say you're welcome, Joe key On, Coleman to you,
Scott Bogman, Ken you or two be more kind to
key On.
Speaker 6 (50:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (50:32):
Look, he doesn't need that much more to get way better.
He had all those catches on or all those yards on,
like thirteen catches. All he has to do is get
up to seventy catches and he'll be amazing. So I
just think that there's ample opportunity for someone else to
lead the bills and receiving yards and I would not
be shore.
Speaker 2 (50:51):
I wonder why the draft was just pause.
Speaker 1 (50:52):
Who's on the clock.
Speaker 2 (50:54):
I have to recap all these picks.
Speaker 6 (50:56):
It's still happening. This panic attack is no right.
Speaker 1 (51:00):
Quich On Judkins, Rashaan White, Markui's Brown plus if I picked,
the draft will end and then nobody will be able
to talk about it.
Speaker 3 (51:06):
How don't you guys go settle this on the seven
whole MAXI course, guys, it's just not the stars.
Speaker 2 (51:12):
Do You wouldn't watch that. You wouldn't watched something like that, obviously,
not to that extreme. You wouldn't watch something like that.
Speaker 1 (51:19):
I would. I would probably watch it, Yes, you would,
although I'm already annoyed at this.
Speaker 2 (51:23):
Savanna Banana, shut the hell up and enjoy life, Welsh.
Speaker 6 (51:26):
I know I would.
Speaker 1 (51:26):
I just said what Javonte Williams, Tyrone Tracy at the
turn tenth round Tracy Trey, Harris, Zach Sharbonet, Austin Eckler,
Ramandre Stevenson, Bogman selects bow Nicks. You got your QB
here another QB. Caleb Williams goes that Jordan Mason Christian
Kirk to me after Christian Kirk, David and Jocobaseal Tuton
(51:47):
Luther Byrd and John hus Smith eleven oh two. Jayden
Higgins pissed off about that was trying to pair Higgins
and Kirk. That did not work out for me. Jake
Ferguson and I took TENK Biggsby, because again I'm trying
to control at least one backfield because I couldn't get
Spears and Pollard, so instead I'm gonna have Atn and Bigsby.
So I'm sure Tooting'll end up being the guy. Isaac
Garndro goes next to the Welsh. So Welsh you took
(52:09):
Jordan Mason ISAA Garndo two rbs back to back. How
do you feel about fortifying that backfield?
Speaker 3 (52:15):
I love that, I mean probably, I think I think
he's Jordan Mason might still be number one in the
consensus sleeper ranks over on Fantasy pros. It's not even
like a sleeper at this point, but just a lot
of people assume on the back half of the year
he's gonna be able to take that over. Grendo is
my RB five. That is just purely a play to
laugh at the Christian McCaffrey owner. If it doesn't work out,
and if Grenda, if mccalfick goes down, Grendo becomes a
(52:37):
top ten RB. So I think it is well worth
the risk. I've created myself enough depth upside Caleb doesn't
work out, Mason Might's exactly how I want to put
this stuff together, especially when I'm doing running backs.
Speaker 1 (52:49):
Okay, next up after that, seely you took Jerome Ford,
so we're going to recap that when we go through here.
Wandel Robinson, you made fun of him. Bogwan said, hey,
stop that, and then he got mad at you, and
his next picking to Kyler Williams to s fight you.
So after Wondol Robinson, Quintin Johnson, Colston Loveland, Ray Davis,
Roshawn Johnson. Then at the turn, Tucker Craft starting the
(53:11):
twelve round, Jaden Blue, Rico dowd El, Cedric Tillman, Trey Benson,
Jalen Wright, Kyle Williams, so Bogman building out those wide receivers,
Wan Dale, and Williams. Then back to Sealy continuing to
take his shots at RB Tyler Aljere approving guy there.
Obviously in that Atlanta backfield, something should happen to Bijon
Rashan Bateman to Welsh, who knows how many games will play,
that's the fun of having ra Shat Bateman on your team.
(53:32):
Kyler Murray to me at twelve oh nine, I want
to take another quarterback, but Welsh did not let that happen.
More to come on that. Nick Chubb flying up the
draft boards nowadays with the mix and news, we'll see
if that's the correct answer. Brayln Allen Blake, Koram and
then Dylan Samson starts the thirteenth round, Marvin Mims, DeAndre Hopkins.
I took Adam Thield, then Brock Purty, Joshua Palmer, Palmer
(53:52):
getting a lot of buzz. Jake, are you is this
one of these classic camp things that we go ooh,
this is buzz, this is good, and then completely let
down the season or do you think this Palmer buzz
early on is for real?
Speaker 2 (54:05):
You can have them both. They don't have to be
mutually exclusive. Because he's a thirteenth rounder. Hell take him
in the eleventh rounder. If he's the number two or
the number one option on this team, Shakier number one
probably in targets, but he could be the number one,
that being Palmer the number one in value like we've
seen Joshua Palmer do it before. So do I think
Palmer is a classic number one wide receiver in the NFL?
Speaker 5 (54:24):
No?
Speaker 2 (54:24):
But can he be the best option for the Bills? Absolutely?
Speaker 1 (54:27):
Eleventh again?
Speaker 2 (54:28):
Two rounds earlier, eleventh round if you're wrong again, you're
cutting him a week two. Cool, it was a eleventh
round pick. Who cares if he's a top thirty wide receiver.
Speaker 1 (54:36):
Boom.
Speaker 2 (54:36):
You just have a potential for somebody to win your league.
Speaker 1 (54:39):
JJ McCarthy goes to Bogman here and here's the home stretch. Tyler, Warren,
Dalton Kinkaid, Dallas god At, Romeo Dobbs. Kyle Pitts Kareem
Hunt begins the final round after.
Speaker 2 (54:49):
Can I pause you right there? Right there is no
I just want to pause you right there? Is why
I wouldn't even take Ingram, because Warren, Kinkaid, Goddard, who's
never not been a tight end one in points per
game in pits, are all in round thirteen, and you
want to take a seventh on Ingram. That's why I
just want to do it.
Speaker 1 (55:04):
You have too many Eagles already. What are you doing?
Speaker 2 (55:06):
The Goddard jobs.
Speaker 1 (55:08):
Kyle Pitts Kareem Hunt after Kareem Haunt, Jared Goff, Marshall
and Lloyd just as Hill Drake May. I was hoping
he would make it to me and old Dak Prescott,
but yeah, that didn't happen either. Pat Bryant, So, Boggs,
you took JJ McCarthy here, second QB for you behind
bo Nicks. Why the second QB? Are you really not
believing in Bonis or just you want exposure?
Speaker 5 (55:29):
It's just in case McCarthy is awesome because I love
any quarterback going into Kevin O'Connell's system. Any quarterback that
has Jefferson, Addison Hawkinson, Aaron Jones to throw to, and
the play calling of Kevin O'Connell, I just think this
system is great. I want to roster JJ McCarthy this
year because I think he's gonna have an enormous season.
(55:50):
I took a look at the options around. I wasn't
really impressed, so I went with the backup quarterback, which
is rare for me.
Speaker 6 (55:56):
I usually don't do that.
Speaker 1 (55:57):
Pat Bryant goes to Boggs with his last pick. Then
for Shard Smith picked to Ceily Dak Prescott Welsh, damn you.
Then I ended up taking Justin Herbert as my second
QB behind Kyler, Murray, C J Stroud, Raheem Moster, zach Ertz.
I got a B plus. Well, let's see where everybody
else lands. The Welsh at the top of the board
number one in our hearts. So the guy who has
(56:18):
no heart, who doesn't love comedy or anything joyful, it's
no wonder he's at the top of this. Team twelve
at number two, Team nine at number three, Joe pi'sap
at number four, Scott Boggin number five, Jake Seely dead
last ye, Jake Seely. This is what happens when you
drink and draft.
Speaker 2 (56:35):
See what happens when you get now and this is
this is the adjustment, and you guys know this is
the adjustment and people need to update their ranks because
you tell me Barkley, Walker Montgomery from my first three,
Brown McLaurin worthy for my first three with Golden the
Mooney and it fell throw ingram in there, kill Williams
tons of value that you'ren Ford. That's a ton. That's
a hell of a value. At that point, with the
(56:56):
Judkins situation, I think you just look at this team
and like, sure you want to call it last place?
This would not finish last place.
Speaker 1 (57:03):
That seems like something we call in the business rationalization, folks, rationalization.
So Seely, who did like your draft? Since obviously Draft
Wizard did.
Speaker 2 (57:12):
Not myself, I don't know well, obviously, look at.
Speaker 1 (57:17):
The expert opinions, Jared Oh, here three big names that
Jacob Gibbs, Pierre Camus, and Andy Barrens.
Speaker 2 (57:25):
So there you go, those are three good people.
Speaker 4 (57:27):
Guess who.
Speaker 3 (57:31):
Joe Joe Pizza po the second biggest hater of that draft.
Speaker 1 (57:37):
You gotta love that good good that serves you right Seely, well,
it's because you took Barkley. I think that's I think
I am. I'm lower on bar That's why it is. Well,
let's take a look at your team though, and in all, honestly,
let's be fair here. It's not a last place team.
But obviously, and Jake's right, Jake's also taking shots on
players he believes in, and the same thing to Derek does.
And you should pay attention to this. Like grades are
(57:58):
cool and fun, but you should get the players you
want first and foremost. Caleb Williams as your starting QB,
Siquon Barkley, Ken Walker, A J. Brown, Ter McLaurin, zavi'er Worthy,
Evan Ingram, David Montgomery is the flex, the Evan Graham.
Then you had Matthew Golden, Darnel Mooney, Jerome Ford, Tyler, Elsier,
Josh Palmer and Burchard Smith. I think this is like
(58:20):
a middle of the road team. I'll be honest with you, Jake.
I don't think it's a last place team. I think
it's a solid team. I think this is like a
six out of the twelve somewhere in that.
Speaker 2 (58:28):
Yeah, because you hate it's.
Speaker 4 (58:30):
A happy Gilmore two team.
Speaker 6 (58:32):
Let me ask you, do you normally pair nine?
Speaker 2 (58:36):
I have no problem with it. I'm like, this is
the this is the thing is you know? I don't
care who cares about finishing third? Like that's the thing.
Like my bench is the same thing. I don't care
of having a wide receiver five or RB four my bench.
I want top twenty five upside of my bench. I
want potential first place team. I don't care if I'm third.
I don't care if I'm fourth. I don't care if
I'm eleventh, because I'm going for first place.
Speaker 1 (58:59):
Do you do seem to care a little bit of
your twelfth today to say a little bit, just a
little bit?
Speaker 2 (59:03):
No, Actually, I know that I'm not. Just by the
fact that you hate it.
Speaker 1 (59:08):
I'm breaking your boss. All right, Let's get to Bogman's draft.
Next up here, bo Nick's Chase Brown, Traveon Henderson, Malik Neighbors,
Ted McMillan, DK Metcalf, Brock Bowers. Then you have isaiaha
check O, Brian Robbinson, JJ McCarthy, key On Coleman, Kyle Williams,
Wandell Robinson, Pat Bryant, a little Dynasty e here, which,
of course I wouldn't expect anything less from Scott Bogen
(59:29):
from the Dynasty podcast here around the Fantasy Pros. Make
sure you subscribe where we get your podcasts, bogs. Do
you think that youth might be a challenge here with
this team and this kind of construction?
Speaker 5 (59:40):
No, see, I like good players, some of them are young. Uh,
that doesn't bother me at all. No, Like, I don't
really understand the like I know I have some young
guys I have teed.
Speaker 1 (59:53):
Well, well, let's let's be fair. Bo Nick's second year player,
Trevon Henderson, rookie, Laiku Nighbor, scond year player, Tech McMillan,
first year player, Brock Bauer second year player. Uh, that's
not even the question I want to ask him. Kyle
Williams rookie Waite it goes on and Pat Bryant first
year player. So it's like seventy five percent of your
roster as a first or second year player. Box.
Speaker 5 (01:00:12):
Yeah, but but it doesn't matter because we know Ted
McMillan is a volume guy already hasn't played one down here.
My young risks are Henderson. Really, that's it. Where I
took the rest of these guys. Kyle Williams, who cares
pap right, it took him the very last round. You
know I took those guys.
Speaker 2 (01:00:29):
So let me ask you, Box, because you asked me
a question so to loop in, and as part of
my answer that Joe cut off is that if I
had if I had more risk at wide receiver, I
wouldn't have gone Barkley, and like I balanced it out,
Like I think I'm pretty damn good at wide receiver.
But that's why I want to ask you. Would you
change anything going back knowing that Keon Coleman is your
(01:00:51):
fourth and especially in a PPR, as if something goes
wrong at wide receiver for you.
Speaker 5 (01:00:55):
No, because I think I'm I'm boosted by having Brock
Bowers as my tight end. I think getting one of
those top three tight ends means that it's either gonna
be weird at flex or weird at third wide receiver.
I think I avoided most of that here, but not
all of it.
Speaker 6 (01:01:10):
I do think.
Speaker 5 (01:01:11):
You know, anytime you take a quarterback or a tight
end high, you're gonna have you know, you're losing a
little juice somewhere else. Yeah, but I'm willing to do that,
especially in a PPR.
Speaker 6 (01:01:20):
By getting brock.
Speaker 4 (01:01:21):
An' tey me take a quarterback, You're gonna have a
bad time.
Speaker 1 (01:01:23):
I'm a bad time. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:01:25):
I gotta say we else. Your quarterbacks were killer.
Speaker 1 (01:01:28):
At the end.
Speaker 6 (01:01:28):
I thought you did it perfect.
Speaker 4 (01:01:29):
You know what, almost shocked about it.
Speaker 3 (01:01:30):
I know, just got to take this back, but I
just want to say I'm shocked, Bogs that you are
not one of your biggest loves of this draft. You
did not grade your own draft. You usually love your
draft with the specific things you do. You did not
grade out as a top five lover of this draft.
Speaker 6 (01:01:44):
I needed to take more rookies than I would have
liked it.
Speaker 1 (01:01:46):
I don't know. It's funny because Jake was saying about
the stability of a wide receivers. I love aj Ronald McLaurin,
but I don't know about stability when it comes it
is respectfully, Jake respectfully, Xavier Worthy, Golden Darna, Moody Palmer.
Those are all guys that, like I think, have their place.
But I mean, basically, there's two guys at the top
you can count. That's wrong with I think is a question.
Speaker 4 (01:02:03):
I kind of love worthy. I kind of love Well,
here's the thing.
Speaker 1 (01:02:06):
If Rushie Rice doesn't get suspended, I don't know how
much he's going to pop.
Speaker 2 (01:02:10):
There's no question.
Speaker 6 (01:02:11):
If it's not this year, he is this year, and
he's coming off a major injury.
Speaker 2 (01:02:16):
The biggest I think that's the biggest thing.
Speaker 6 (01:02:19):
At the end of last season.
Speaker 2 (01:02:20):
That's what I brought up when I took him. But
I think the biggest thing about thee off last year
no Rice, is I think that what you just said,
Joe is like it's happening this year is I think
people are discounting the fact that we might be looking
at a Zeke situation where all of a sudden it's oh, suspended,
but it's weeks five through twelve or something like that,
and then that's killer fair enough, fair enough, all right,
let's go to my team and then we'll get to
(01:02:42):
the winner.
Speaker 1 (01:02:42):
Here at the Welsh Kyler Murray Omarion Hampton, Tony Pollard,
and then a wide receiver corps of Justin Jefferson, Tyree Kill,
Davonte Adams. I don't know if you guys have heard
of those guys. They're pretty good a football t J Hawkinson,
Cortland Sutton at the flex in a PPR league. Because
this is what we're doing here. Justin Herbert is my
second QB. Then Cam Scattaboo, Travis at and Christian Kirk Adam,
(01:03:03):
theal and Tank Pigsby. Go ahead, Jake, you can lay
into this team here. I'll give you no no, no,
I answer you.
Speaker 2 (01:03:08):
I just said basically similar to mine of like hindsight
being twenty twenty if you knew and looking at this
board and how it fell and then when that you
wanted Henderson, are you still like an even a Harvey
Connor or Swift? Would you throw someton back, go for
the running back and come back because you still could
have got a Shakir pickings and dunes Like again, just
a hindsight question, like would you change it going back?
Speaker 1 (01:03:28):
Yeah? The one what if that I had is actually
the what if I mentioned on the show. It's just
funny because it's on the breakdown here on Fantasy pros
in the back end, what if you drafted Chris Godwin
instead and I waited on tight end and Hawkins And
that was the one regard I had, and Draft Wizard
agreed with me that, yeah, that was the one thing
you did that was stupid.
Speaker 2 (01:03:46):
So I actually was considering when I took Montgomery. I
wanted Godwin, but I thought Godwin would make it back
into the seventh with everybody being afraid of him.
Speaker 1 (01:03:53):
Yeah, I was taking that risk too, you know, with
the injury. But look, you want to play or you
gotta get a player. That's what you gotta do.
Speaker 4 (01:03:58):
You know, one interesting thing that happened, Joe.
Speaker 3 (01:04:00):
You always nobody's ever happy, but you hear some criticisms
sometimes people like when they're in the draft Draft Wizard
and they're like, oh, man, I do the heavy wide
receiver team and it doesn't score super Well, that's the
complete opposite here. You didn't exactly like punt running back
or anything like that, but you have probably one of
the weakest running back corps of going Hampton and especially
Pollard as your number two with a heavy wide receiver,
(01:04:21):
and you scored out better than both of these guys
who have because.
Speaker 1 (01:04:24):
I took Gatambou and atn and I think it's controlling
the backfield, so like I have the Jacksonville backfield, it's Gataboo.
I think is upside there. And but look the court
at the strength of his team is Jefferson Hill and
Adams like that. I'm living and dying off that. And
you know what, those are the guys that I'm willing
to invest in.
Speaker 8 (01:04:40):
To do that.
Speaker 1 (01:04:40):
All right, Welsh's team here, the greatest team ever assembled
to courting draft Wizard Brock Purty a quarterback, Jamiir Gibbs,
Chewbah Hobbard, Lad McConkie, T Higgins, A Flowers, Travis Kelce,
Caleb Johnson, Dak Prescott, Cooper Cup, Brandon Iuke, Jordan Mason,
Isaac Grendo, Rashan Bateman. Break it down for us, Welsh, it.
Speaker 4 (01:04:57):
Was a beautiful thing. I got the depth that I wanted.
Speaker 3 (01:05:00):
The starters Bogman mentioned I paired out and I've said
this and I've held true to this. If I don't
get one of those higher end quarterbacks, I love just
finding a good pairing at the end. Usually it's something
like a Caleb Williams and a Party or a May
and a Prescott. This situation ended up just being Prescott
and Purty. And I mean, you know we know where Prescott,
when he's healthy and right, can be a top five quarterback.
So I got both of those with no no battling issues.
(01:05:22):
I've got depth at running back. I like my wide
receiver corps. I've got some upside on the bench. You
could argue between Cup and Ayuke and injury stuff. Maybe
I kind of made myself a little suscept and Bateman
you could. I think that's the only real true argument
you can throw in is like the wide receiver depth
maybe is a question. But it loved Dak Prescott. It
said Dak Prescott was the number one quarterback in the
(01:05:44):
consensus sleeper rankings. It said both of my quarterbacks which
I took in like the last rounds pretty much were
both steals and values. It did give me if I
had drafted Chris Godwin apparently he's the guy of the
day at six' eight instead of a and drafted a
running back, later which that was The Caleb johnson, Situation
i'd have scored even higher THAN i already.
