been doing a lot of mock drafts here, Jacob Ufman.
It seems pretty easy to me where we're just gonna
go right ahead there for Jamar Chase. But perhaps that's
not what you're thinking here with the one pick. So
walk me through the top of the board in the
full PPR maybe even versus the half for sure.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
And anybody who has ever watched me over the last
eight years knows that I am all about massive amount
of running backs early. I want touches. However, I chose
the number one spot on purpose because I want to
do something different. If I have the number one, it
is Jamar Chase for me, and I'll kind of go
somewhat quote unquote hero wide receiver. At that point. I

love Beijon. I'm not on the whole Saquon Barkley is
going to regress so much that he's not worth it?
Is he gonna regress, absolutely, and he's not gonna have
probably the same year. Does that mean he's not gonna
be top five at the position still worth the pick?
Absolutely not. So I'm not worried about that kind of stuff.
But if I'm at the number one, I'm gonna have
a little bit of fun and I'm gonna go ahead

and take Jamar Chase.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
All right, So Chase off the board. You know it's funny.
The absolutely not, though I will say the Dad is
not on his side, and I've said that we've got
a fun short here too recently. We just did. So
if you're looking for you know, DeMarco, Murray, Eddie, George Jawn, Alexander,
Larry Johnson, Jamal Lewis twice, Corey Dillon, Edgrin, James Curtis, Martin,
Arian Foster. I'm on Green, I can go on, but
I'm gonna stop because again, we got a show to do.

But yeah, there's a lot of guys who had four
hundred plus carries worth the next year they didn't even
finish as an RB one, So that is terrifying. I mean,
and for me, you know, it was the first round selection.
It's just not where I want to go now. It
is up to me right now. With Chase off the board,
Bijeon goes to Jamiir goes next, which means, guess who
falls in my lap? Justin Jefferson. Yes, please, that's an
easy pick for me. I think JJ will have a

slow start in September, I do, but I think by
the time we turn the page to October first, it'll
be fine. And if he can get the points that
he got last year with Sam Darnold, I think we
can get JJ McCarthy there as well. Ceedee Lamb goes next,
Saquon Barkley to Team six, then Nico Collins goes after
that at one oh seven, then one o eight, Christian
McCaffrey right before you, Kyle, So, Kyle, if McCaffrey was

on the board, is he tempting to you or you
are a no McCaffrey guy.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
I'm not a no McCaffrey guy, but I'm a I
would rather have McCaffrey in the second round if possible,
but that's just not gonna happen this year, so I
don't find myself ever drafting him.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Yeah, I feel exactly the same way. I love the early,
early best balls where he's like, oh, he's kind of
at the turn or oh he's a fourteen overall. I'm like, Okay,
that's kind of where it makes sense for me. But
I think the same and it feels like Sealy. As
we get closer and closer here to draft season, you
see that ticking up from fourteenth overall to the turns
and now here you go one oh eight. Is that

what you've been seeing out there in the draft streets?

Speaker 4 (06:02):
I have, and I've actually been willing to. I made
a decision the other day to take Jefferson falling to
the six versus McCaffrey, and I sat there and thought
about it for a long time because, similar to Jake,
the other one argument with Saquon Barkley is I'm not
afraid if I have somebody like McCaffrey, who can be
the one on one period overall in fantasy. I'm going
to take that upside. Look, we lose first rounders all

(06:23):
the time. I still win our leagues. I know that
people are like, oh, you don't want to lose your
draft in the first round. But you saw it this
weekend Joe at the Flex Leagues. Barkley was the second
and third running back off the board in both drafts. Like,
I think there are people that are on your side,
but I think on the whole is you're gonna have
to make that decision with both of them on the whole.
To reference the Austin powers there prasing.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Uh So, Kyle, let's get to your pick here at
one on nine, you took Malik Neighbors. Lots of upside there.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
Oh, I actually I got automn picked because I got
the Christian McCaffrey.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Here's the thing. If we're if you're doing your own box,
you can actually roll out your picks. But because we're
doing this one this way using the mock draft lobby,
you can't. One of the many pluses here with the
draft simulator is that you can actually roll the picks
back and say I don't like that. I wouldn't do that.
So I'm sorry Kyle that you got all.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
But I'm the guy in the league that again shows
up either medicated or have been drinking too long forgets
where he's drafting. All that, I'll still take my Leak neighbors.
I was gonna go with my boy I'm in Ross
Saint Brown, but it's fine. I'll take Mylak neighbors as well.
The offense is going to be improved, and it's going
to be improved regardless if Russ is the starter all

year or Dark takes over at some point or what
ends up happening. So volume, volume, volume, with mylik neighbors,
I'll take that all day.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Still all right, you are on the clock, so I
won't talk to you anymore. I'm going to talk to
Jake Seely instead so that I don't want you to
get auto picked twice. But still, Molik, I'm on RA
pretty close there, in fact, so close. I'm on RA
goes at one ten, Pakua next, and then Jake Seely
you go with my boy Derrick Henry and Brian Thomas.
That it's a very Joey peakan to start to a team. Obviously,
You've been hanging out quite a bit with me, so

let's talk about that start. How you feel about those selections.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
A similar to Jake earlier also and very much on
I want to get one of my lead running backs
in the first two rounds if possible. I feel it's
much more attainable at the end of the first because
you can also get the elite wide receiver to match
with them, and it opens it up a lot of
times to reference that other draft where at Jefferson I
kind of went with the Hero wide receiver approach. I
have two running backs and I had Burrow in the

fourth in that league and that one which I haven't
done in a while, but I wanted to try it.
I think it lets you go either way, though, like
I could have had an Hero running back team still
getting Henry there, so I think it just opens up
the flexibility going forward. I'm probably on the turn in
the first always going to pair up running back and
wide receiver, unless there's just some crazy run that happens
in the first round.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
All right, Ashton Genty goes to two two. Devon Han next,
I think Kyle, you took Drake London question. Okay, all right,
good all right, we're back on. Look the terrific here.
Malik Neighbors drag London A great way to start real quick,
Just touch on Malik Neighbors with all the different quarterbacks
this year, if that is something that turns you off

(09:09):
to him as opposed to a Monroe, and then the
upside of Drake London with Pennix this season.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
I mean, I think people are going to be worried.
Like listen, I'm not as worried about Malik Neighbors because
I'm a huge Jackson Dark fan. So I think if
for whatever reason he ends up playing this year, I
think Thelie Neighbors is going to end up being just fine.
And I don't think the situation at quarterback can be
any worse than what we have seen recently for them either.

(09:34):
So I'm all in on eliek Neighbors. He's going to
be the number one target by a substantial amount. In
my opinion. Russ is going to throw the deep ball
a little bit better than what they've been used to
over the last couple of years, giving him some more
upside plays to go along with that volume. And as
far as Drake London goes, I have made an argument
at times with my wide receiver rankings to rank him

(09:54):
as wide receiver for absolutely love him this season. Based
on the small sample size that we had at the
very end of the season with Michael Pennix, Drake London
could absolutely eat. I'm buying all in on the Atlanta
Falcons this year and their offense for fantasy.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
Josh Jacobs goes next to two five than Aj Brown,
Brock Bowers, Jonathan Taylor then to me again the big
wide receiver bill, that's what I like to do, especially
in the PPR. We've got Lad McConkie to me a
two oh nine. You know, I think that the Justin
Herbert people forget last year, came into the season hurt.
He's a guy that broke the rookie passing record the
next year through for five thousand yards. I know it's

(10:30):
a different team, different regime, but at the same time,
I do think that there's a greater version here of
Justin Herbert in this Roman offense is going to throw
even more. Plus a Marion Hampton I think is gonna
help out a long ways. Also, So Lad McConkie very
steady last year. Bucky Irvin goes to two ten Tyreek
kill at two to eleven. I was considering Hill back
and forth. I thought, oh, maybe it'll make it back

(10:51):
to me. He did not, And of course, Jacob, staying
on brand, doubles up on RBS Chase Brown and Kyron Williams,
Kyron getting the bag in Chase Brown one less piece
around him. Now with all of a sudden, Zach Moss
kicked to the curb.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
Yeah, and Zach Moss sucks and that's why he's no
longer there. I mean, let's be completely honest. The dude
was not great at football.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
Who sucks more, Zach Morris or Zach Moss just curious?

Speaker 3 (11:12):
Oh Zach Moss for sure. I mean there's no way
mosscat that could handle that whole hairwave thing. He couldn't
pull that off. Absolutely not. But I love Chase Brown.
I love Chase Brown last year. He was one of
our must haves last year. And the offensive line isn't
great in Cincinnati, and I think we kind of know that,
but he really thrives on getting the ball in space
and getting to the outside, and he's so explosive. He

(11:32):
makes plays happening with bringing t Higgins back and having
Jamar Chase and Yoshi there, and you know, now we
got multiple tight ends to worry about in Cincinnati. The
boxes aren't gonna be stacked again. And I love Chase
Brown once again. As for Kyron Williams, I know a
lot of people, probably the majority of people, are off
the bandwagon of Kyron Williams this year, and I am not.
I love Kyra Williams very rarely in the third round

(11:54):
are you gonna find a running back that has twenty
touch potential on a weekly basis? I love touches. You
can't score Fantasy without touches. Give me the volume. Now
they've paid him, he's going to be there. I'm not
worried about you know, third day running backs in LA
right now. Maybe in the future. Kyron's still the guy,
and if I can have him as my RB two,
I'll take him.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
I could not agree with you more. I've taken Kyen
a lot on these mocks. So make that two for

is the guy. Now. Look, I hate the Saints offense, Kyle,
but I still like the value on Alvin Kamara, and
it looks like you do too.

Yeah, I'll take I'll take all the targets that he
likely gets with dump offs this year. In a PPR
league this late, especially since I went wide receiver wide
receiver to start, which I very rarely will ever do.
So definitely a little bit of a different strategy for
me today than I'm used to. Uh yeah, Alvin Kamara
at the end of the third round, here, give me
all of those.

Targets, Jacob who plays more at QB, Spencer Ratler or
Tyler Shuck this season?

Speaker 3 (14:34):
Is that me? Now I'm Jacob today?

Right, you're Jacob Jake? Seely's always Jake or just want
to make sure I've never I don't know if you
think Jake is full? Is your full name? Jacob?

Now there you go. Now I know going forward it's Zi. Yeah. Right,
If I had to guess, it's probably Shucked. But honestly,
they both are not.

Going to be great because I gotten very confident.

I mean, we saw Rattler for a little bit last
year and we're we impressed. No, and that's the whole
reason they did something in the draft. I'm not I'm
not buying anything in the passing offense. Alvin Kamara is
the only piece I will touch for the Saints. And
for the reason that Kyle said is I see a
ton of dump offs a lot of targets, some touchdown opportunities.
If the guy can go out there and score over

six touchdowns this year, it's a slam dunk.

All right. So let's get to Ceily's picks here after
you have Kamara, Jayden Daniels off the board, Terry McLaurin,
Ken Walker the third, and DeVante Adams to Ceily. So
Walker Adams, you've gone RB wide receiver, RB wide receiver.
I know you're a little ocd jke. Is that part
of what's happening here? Or you just really like the
values of Walker and Adams.

Speaker 4 (15:42):
Oh no, those were the values. Those were the players
I was going to take. But I did go RB
and the third just to do it, so you can
go with that. You know my feelings if Kenneth Walker,
if anybody's tuning in and it doesn't. This was somebody
that I thought would see more of a split with
Sharbonne until I talked to Michael Seawan Dugger of the
Athletic and he said, now, everything I'm seeing and hearing
from the team is that he's going to be a
bell cow as long as he's healthy. Despite how good

(16:03):
Sharbonney looked, that's the plans from that system and which
changes a lot. I know it's an injury risk, but
if you're talking about bell cow work for Walker, you're
talking about potentially in RB one and then Adam's that situation.
It was a toss up between Adams and Higgins. But
I know people are worried about staffers back right now.
But a bigger conversation you and I had this on
our last mock draft, is there's a world where if
we've reached the end of the season and Adams has

(16:24):
more Fantasy points than Puku Nakua health aside, just straight
up that he has more points, none of us would
be completely shocked, like it would be a surprise, but
we wouldn't be shocked.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
Yeah, I agree with you, man, all Right, So after
DeVante Adams, T Higgins goes George Kittle, goes Kyle back
on the clock Devanta Smith. Now, he was my third
wide receiver that I selected in the Flex League this
weekend where Jake Ceely and I will get to hanging
out and look, he's steady at h man, you kind
of know what you're getting with him. So your thoughts
on Smith at the four H four is your number three?

Speaker 2 (16:52):
Yeah, I'm taking him for the upside there. I've already
got elite neighbors and Drake London, who I think you're
going to see a ton of volume. I got Ellen Kamar,
who I think is going to see a ton of
volume in the passing game. So now at this point,
I want a little upside. I want some big playability.
There's gonna be some weeks where DeVante Smith lets you
down and you're just like, man, could this guy just
have caught maybe three balls this week and maybe a

(17:13):
bigger player or something like that. But I need a
little upside to go with this team, and I think
that he was the best bet there, So I go
with him to kind of help balance things out.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
For me, all right, trying to balance things out there.
Next pick here as we look through the board, going
through after DeVonta Smith, Mike Evans, Jalen Hurts, Teed McMillan
goes next, and then Ted McMillan, DJ Moore. I selected
Amari and Hampton here at four h nine, as we
did him and James Cook going back and forth. Cook
probably the safer play here, but I rolled the dice

(17:41):
here with Amari and Hampton a little bit here again
the lack of clarity about Naji Harris. All I know
is that he's wearing an eyepatch and walking around a
track right now. That's basically all I know, and that
doesn't make me feel warm and fuzzy about selecting him.
So Cook, I look, there might be touchdown regression from him.
Of course, it's very likely they go to go from
eighteen to thirteen. I can still live with that. Either

(18:02):
one of those selections here pretty good. DK Metcalff goes
in between, so DK at four to ten, James Cook
at four eleven. Calvin Ridley then selected along with George Pickens. So, Jacob,
this has really falling pretty well for you. You took
your as you said, hero wide receiver. You got two
solid number one running backs in Brown and Williams, and
now Calvin Ridley and George Pickens at the four or
five turn.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
I'm so happy right now, like if I could stand up,
I mean, this is like I might have it. Please,
this is great.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
Please don't we don't want to get flagged on you.

Speaker 3 (18:31):
I trust me, I know all the rules. But no,
I think Calvin Ridley, when when you look at this
point volume right, I'm not scared about Tyler Lockett or
Calvin Ridley's going to see one hundred and twenty five
plus targets easy in that offense. And honestly, with what
we've seen from cam Ward so far, dude looking pretty
legit in camp. He's making all the throws that he
needs to. He's passing the eye test. Obviously a lot
of it is in shorts, and you can't take too

(18:52):
much that into account, but still I love the potential volume.
And then I'm going with George Pickens as many times
as I possibly can. If I can get George Pickens
in the fifth We've seen George Pickens with horrible offensive
play calling with Arthur Smith and horrible quarterback play for
years with guys like Kenny Pickett. If I can have
him with Dak Prescott a lot of defensive attention, looking
other places to with Ceedee Lamb or Jake Ferguson George Pickens,

(19:16):
I want to know what the upside is. Right, we
haven't seen the ceiling of George Pickens yet, and this
is a great opportunity in this Dallas offense to find him.

Speaker 1 (19:23):
He's still just twenty four years old, He's never played
with a quarterback as explosive as Dak can be at times.
Go ahead.

Speaker 4 (19:29):
I was gonna say, can we talk about because I
love his team too, especially with the Calvin Ridley one
hundred and twenty targets last year for sixty four one
thousand and four, with everybody talking about how terrible that
team was last year, It's like everything's gonna better for
Cam War this year. Everything's gonna be better for the offense.
The backfield is going to look better. And nobody brings
up Calvin Ridley as being better. I can't understand why
he's not getting more respect.

Speaker 3 (19:48):
I don't get it either. I mean it just fits.
I mean it just makes logical sense that his target
share could slightly increase and they could be more catchable targets.
I mean that's a recipe for success.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
I like War too, especially as the third quarterback, and
it's with upside in a super flex Arber I would
be really aggressively. He's a smart kid. He's really committed
to I really like everything comes out of his mouth.
He walks, the walkie talks the talk. I like both
those things. Rushie Rice at five h two, Courtland Sutton
at five oh three. I just missed him. I wanted him,
I just missed him. So I settled for another running

back here, r J. Harvey. Look, I had to spend
a whole weekend with Derek Brown. It must be rubbing
off of me because I drafted R J. Harvey here.
But look, two rookie running backs running the football in
this league is a young man's game. So I think
that JK. Dobbins was brought in just to shave the workload.
I don't think it's the takeover. I see him and
now with the potentially he's the joker in this offense.
As we're starting to hear, now, maybe it's not Evan Ingram,

(20:42):
Maybe it's actually r. J. Harvey. That's a horse of
a different color. Travon Henderson goes next at five oh five,
then Jalen Waddle, Chewba Hubbard, Chris o'lave, and then another
RB to Kyle Richardson.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
Who was it Kyle James Conner. I'll go with James
Connor there as my RB two. I like James Connor,
the age and potential injury concerns always pop up with him.
But just make sure you get Trey Benson later on
and you'll be all set there.

Xavier Worthy of five po ten. Then we have Jerry
Judy go next. After that, Jake Seely up for two picks.

he took Jamison Williams, a player we debated yesterday on

A lot of people say, oh, you know, different offense
here this year might be a little bit different here
for that young man. Some people think that could be worse,

going to see the Lions in the red zone enough
that David Montgomery is still going to have a shot

Draft those we're gonna get quarterbacks, deeper so they should

Believe dobbins is going to be more of a. THORN
i was actually surprised how far apart they have been
in drafts so, far and we've already heard That dobbins, says, look,

is IN rb one when he's. Healthy that's WHY i
would do the, swap BECAUSE i know we'd be shocked
if he plays fifteen games. Again but at that, point
like you have somebody who's putting UP rb one numbers

still have spears and pollering in case that shakes out
a different. Way so outside of, THAT i actually Thought
Mark andrews is a really nice value back at tight
