Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello everybody, Welcome into the Fantasy Pros Football Podcast. I'm
Ryan Warmley, join on this Tuesday morning by Andrew Erickson
and by Chris welsh Fellows. We are talking wide receivers
here as we head into week twelve. This is our
buyes and sales show. It can be by lows, it
can be by highs, it could be cellos, it can
be sell highs. We recognize that a lot of the
(00:21):
trade deadlines have passed at this point. There's still some
letter this week, so we wanted to give kind of
one last version of the show before we switch to
our predictions episodes, which is what the show will become
in the back half of the year. We're gonna skip
next week. We'll still be doing other shows we can
Thanksgiving as Fantasy Pros.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
We will not have this show on the feed.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
The three of us will be back the week after
Thanksgiving to start doing some weekly predictions rather than talking trades.
But you can consider this if your trade deadline has passed.
Just players that we like going forward and players that
maybe we are fading for the rest of the season.
Let's start off with our wide receivers to buy.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
Well you got now you were going to do Thanksgiving,
by the way, and I was gonna say, buy mac
and chee, hold mashed potatoes. Sell stuffing. Controversy selling stuffing.
I think I'm gonna sell stuffing. I think stuffing is
a little bit overrated at this point.
Speaker 4 (01:10):
No, I love stuff I mean the most overrated thing
is is the turkey.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Yeah, so I think that's wrong.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
Hold on, people just say that because it's like true, No, no,
it's not.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
Turkey's great. Turkey.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
You get a nice piece of turkey, you lather or
some some gravy on that thing.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
It's great.
Speaker 5 (01:28):
Like I so you so well warm, you to sit down,
big slab of turkey gravy, and that's it.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
It's all you eat.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
No I eat other sides, it's all. It's all good.
But the turkey is also really good. It's I this
this like talking point that people have had in recent
years of the turkey is the worst part of the
Thanksgiving meal where it's overrated. I think that's so false,
Like it's the star of the show and the main
character people always think is overrated, and turkey is the
main character of Thanksgiving and it's great. But I also
(01:57):
really love stuffing and mashed potatoes and great.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
I think mashed potatoes are the main character, by the way,
I just I would throw that out there. I think
it's the hidden main.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
I'm very out on, like cranberry sauce, cranberry, very out
on that. I'm not a big like pecan pie person
or like really pie in general.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
I tend to opt for other desserts.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
But yeah, like turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
Vested worm is by the way, we hit a nerve
like you hit. We hit the point that was I didn't.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
Have breakfast this morning, so I'm actually really hungry. So
it's got it in the back of my head anyway. Yeah,
it's about to go buy a turk, all right, Well,
the wide receiver to buy.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
We're always buying the mashed potatoes, and we are buying
always Lad McConkey just want to get him back. I
think Glad has This is the third one. I put
him on this list midway through the year, before the
bye week. I think ericson you might have had Laden
last week or the week before, we have had lad
on here and it continues to prove the point. And
here's the reason, well reason one I put him on
(02:57):
here because I couldn't put Jwan Jennings again. I put
last week and again he ends up being a mid
wide receiver two to wide receiver one. Just hit that
point home. But over the weekend when we were doing
the live streams, people were still asking Lad questions that
don't feel like Lad price questions. Ladd into the late
(03:18):
twenties of wide receivers.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
He just he's sticking.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
There no matter what he does. And at the end
of the day, that's why I think he's such a
great buy is because his performance is not changing any
of the perceived value. And right now he's got accorded
Fantasy pros seventh best of wide receivers as far as
strength of schedule goes, which is phenomenal. He is the
number one target there. In Week eleven thirty one percent
(03:43):
first read percentage. He accounted for forty one percent of
the team's yards. He's the dude. Quentin Johnston gets a
little bit involved.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
JK.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
Dobbins ended up having a great game when I was
trying to sell him, but he has been stalled out
a little bit.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
Lad.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
McConkey to me is a solid wide receiver two and
his cost is about a whole tier out. We had this,
We talked about this on the RB Show. Just gonna
throw this out here. You can go and trade Ceede
Lamb to get out from Ceedee Lamb and get a
guy like Lad maybe plus I think you do that.
I'd like Ladd is undervalued regardless of what he does.
(04:20):
He's a great buy through the finish of the season,
and even up until last week, people still didn't know
if they wanted to get him in the lineup, and
those to me are signs of a player that you
gotta go get.
Speaker 4 (04:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
Obviously, coming off of a strong game against the Bengals
six catches, one hundred and twenty three yards, I've been
really in on the Conky for most of the season
as a buye. So I am totally co signing that
with you ericson what do you think about Ladd and
kind of where you would rank him rest of season.
Speaker 5 (04:47):
I mean, he's got to be at leasted inside the
top twenty four, if not higher. I mean, I just
don't see any reason why you just don't.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
Find he is bide receiver twenty four for the record.
Speaker 5 (04:53):
And again, I don't think whatever you pay to get
laddim Conky again, we're gonna talk about some guys you
want to sell, but I don't think you're looking to
be like man I overpaid to get mcconne. I think
that he's just in a situation where I don't think
you can overpay. I mean, again, you can always overpay
for certain players, but if you get mcconka and your
team and he keeps producing, you're probably just not gonna
(05:15):
care what you gave up to get him, even if
that other guy is also producing in some capacity. You
just look at the schedule. Even this week Baltimore, Raven's great,
another great matchup for him. They're starting to throw the
ball a little bit more with Justin Herbert. Justin Herbert's quarterback.
It seemed just not in this Keenan Allen role where
he's seeing all the targets and if anything, is Justin
Herbert going to continue to throw the ball to Quintin Johnston.
(05:35):
But it seems like every pass is going to land
incomplete or be a touchdown. So I mean, Lad again,
this past game, he got hurt in the game and
he still came back and still at a monster performance.
So yeah, I think that Lad is a rookie. He's
breaking out. He's checking off all the boxes, and of
course my patriot's had a chance to draft him, and
he's nasty, and we have Jaylen Polkin's dead, so yeah,
(05:55):
that's great.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
Yeah, And when, by the way, when the books go
and open him up at four and a half, the
reception over, that's what they're gonna do. You're gonna slam
the reception over and it's gonna probably move to five
and a half and you're still gonna hit it FP free.
By the way, betting Pros, you take Lad, Ladd is
undervalued across the board. He'll probably be on that prop
show and he's on this show. Go and buy Lad
because it's just too good and I like it. You said,
(06:18):
it's probably whatever the cost is gonna be at the
end of the day, I think you're gonna be Okay.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
We agree, Ladd mcconkee seems like a strong buy. You
can use the trade analyzer at Fantasypros dot com, slash
my playbook, or on my Playbook app to instantly evaluate
how any trade will affect your team for this week,
the rest of the season, or even in Dynasty where
they usually have later trade deadlines. Anyway, so we like
Ladd McConkie quite a bit ericson who's your wide receiver
to buy George Pickens.
Speaker 5 (06:44):
That's the guy I want, because I think that he
is just absolutely set to light the fantasy world to
blaze the rest of the season. I think I was
really impressed with him last week because with George Pickens,
you know, we mean while els went back and forth
about oh, you gotta bet the receptions, Ah, you gotta
bet receiving yards, and again it didn't matter at the
end of the day. But I thought it was interesting
(07:04):
that Pickens really showed up even without that long downfield target,
like he was doing a lot of his damage underneath,
which is not really what he's traditionally been. But with
the Steelers offense again the ball against the Baltimore Ravens,
George Pickens was gaining a lot of receptions. He had
eight catches on twelve targets eighty nine yards. So he
got there on volume, which isn't usually the case with him.
Is usually a couple of big downfield plays. So the
(07:25):
way that he's now able to win downfield with volume
in so many different ways. The one thing that's been
missing from him just going fully nuclear has been the touchdowns.
He has two receiving touchdowns this season. That's it, But
everything else from his usage is off the charts and
yardage production. With Russell Wilson as his quarterback, he is
averaging a thirty percent target chair, nearly fifty percent of
(07:47):
the team's total air yards, ninety one receiving yards per
game wide receiver, one fantasy across the board, and just
two touchdowns. So if he starts scoring, man we're talking about.
George Pickins is the top five wide receiver rest of season.
And I'm just looking at some of his his props
over on prize picks for this week against the Cleveland Browns,
(08:07):
fifty eight and a half receiving yards is his number.
Fifty eight and a half. I thought that was disrespectful
for George Pickens, consider he's averaging ninety one yards per
game and the Browns just seemingly just give him a big,
massive place to take some hill and vs. It doesn't
matter who they're playing, there's given up a big chunk
plays downfield. So uh yes, George Pickens, I want to
buy him in the props market on my fantasy team
all the way down the rest of the season.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
He's wide receiver eleven in our rest of season rankings
and ECR any of these ten names ericson would you
make the case for Pickens ahead of Jamar Chase, Justin, Jefferson, A. J. Brown,
Aman Ross, Saint Brown, Puka Nakua, Nico Collins, Drake, London,
Cooper Cup, Molik, Neighbors, Tyree Kill.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
Those are the ten names ahead of him.
Speaker 4 (08:45):
Cooper Cup, I would take Pickens over Coop Cup.
Speaker 3 (08:47):
You wouldn't take him over London or Neighbors, Neighbors?
Speaker 4 (08:51):
Would? I think I'm in consideration too, Yeah, that would
be the other guy. London has just been really really consistent.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
Tyreek is the guy who went ahead of him. Would
you there of Tyreek or Pickens Pickens?
Speaker 4 (09:04):
Yeah? I think Tyreek probably would be a good yea
to sell for Pickens as well.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
Yeah, Shirt too? You look like a dolphin right now?
Speaker 2 (09:09):
Yeah? Well, why does he we're eleven?
Speaker 1 (09:13):
Is?
Speaker 2 (09:13):
Why does you're eleven? Too high? Too lower? Just right?
For Pickens?
Speaker 3 (09:16):
Hey, it's like just about I mean, I just labeled
like three other guys that I could go ahead. I
think right at the top ten marker is a solid place.
It's getting a huge target share. He's so goofy. I
wish in the prop market they would start letting us
like bet will George Pickens signal first down when he's
gotten only two yards in the first down is ten yards?
Like he just does weird stuff. Russ is just unfazed
(09:39):
by any of the weird things that Pickens walks off
the field the game's not done. He stretches his foot
like Pickens is just like kind of like a weird dude.
But he's a phenomenal ballplayer. He makes ridiculous plays. And
you know, going back to that Bet Erickson's talking about
the show that him and I do on Betting Pros
on Friday is the prop market. I made the case
for the and the questionable thing with him and why
(10:04):
you and piece of Pa like the yards is like,
well he makes these big plays. Well, he actually hit
the reception marker in the first half with almost no yards.
He had five receptions for twenty eight yards and then
he just went explosive. And that's kind of the change
that's ending up happening. He's not four catches for one
hundred and ten yards. He's the massive target guy that's
getting some of the short intermediate and the long plays.
(10:26):
He makes big explosive plays. If you have a guy
that's going to give him those targets and loves to
throw the ball deep down the field, he's going to eat.
And that's what's happened with George Pickens. So top ten
wide receiver rest of season completely by frankly Erickson got
to the sheet before me. Pickens was the first person
that came to mind, and like, if you could buy
someone rest of season, the question is just about, like
(10:48):
where is his market value to where you're buying him.
Don't love the idea of having to pay top ten
wide receiver for George Pickens, even though I value him
in that standpoint. So if you get any discount, it's
an absolute smash.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
Fact about George Pickens.
Speaker 5 (11:01):
You know the Patriots drafted Taekwan Thor in two picks
for George picks.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
New Kansaity Chiefs wide receiver Taikwan Thorn.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
You saw your tweet, you you definitely have a you
have a board. You know that scene in Happy Gilmore
where Buscemi's just lipstick on and crossing off the names.
It's just all the wide receivers that the Patriots could
have had. It's just you.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
That's the worst.
Speaker 5 (11:22):
That's that's a more glaring list than the receivers I've
actually drafted. It's the guys that go right after their picks.
Speaker 4 (11:29):
It's even worse.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
It hurts.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
Growing up, basketball was never near the top of my
list of favorite sports. I always preferred baseball and then
football as I got older. But once I was in
college at Maryland, I completely fell in love with the
atmosphere at college basketball games.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
The energy, the passion, the noise, the chills.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
There's no fan experience in the world quite like a
high level college hoops game. I still remember storming the
court my final game as a student's senior year against TVA,
and now that I'm over a decade past my days
as a student, when I need basketball tickets, I turned
to Game Time. Game Time as this new feature called
game Time Picks, which filters out the fluff to show
you only incredible deals on great seats, makes getting tickets
(12:06):
to see your favorite teams play live even easier. The
list of my favorite features on the Game Time app
is too long to read everything, but here are some standouts.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
For me.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
Personally, I love the Game Time Picks, curation, obviously, especially
since I can use it for not just sports, but concerts, comedy, theater,
and more. I also love the all in pricing so
there are no surprise fees at checkout. Nothing in the
world more infuriating than thinking I know what I'm about
to spend on a purchase, then getting hit with that
surprise fee at the last second. That doesn't happen with
Game Time. Plus, I also appreciate the seat views to

What time is it?
Speaker 2 (12:54):
Game time?
Speaker 5 (12:57):
All right?
Speaker 2 (12:57):
Welsh? Who is your wide receiver to sell?
Speaker 3 (13:00):
I am moving off of the jets, specifically DeVante Adams.
And here's the big cell reason. This is a sinking ship.
This whole team is a complete sinking ship. The pack
in that I'm shocked has not quite I mean their
gameplay looks like it's been a they've packed it in,
But what's about to happen through the rest of the season.
(13:22):
They're going to pack this in. DeVante Adams had his
second best game essentially as a jet in this one
where he went for seventy two yards. Here are his
target shares over the last five weeks nine, six, eleven,
thirteen to seven. Well, that's pretty good. Here are his
fantasy finishes in half PPR over the last five weeks
(13:43):
with those massive targets fifty three, fifty eight where he
scored a touchdown, forty four and thirty three. Those are
two of the last five weeks he has been inside
the top thirty six. When this trade went down, I
was on team Garrett Wilson. Garrett Wilson was a dud
this week, but has been the better option you know,
(14:04):
throughout this Davante Adams trade. But I don't think DeVante
Adams is a play that I want even in the
top wide receiver two maybe three market. And coming back
to the conversations we had this weekend where people are
asking questions, Davante Adams weekly ranks still sits in the teams.
If somebody goes and they want to kind of reference,
(14:25):
you know, oh, okay, you know what what is the
week twelve ranking or week eleven rate, you know, last
week of the player Devanta Adams sits in that like
top eighteen range if you can sell him in the
teams I want out. The positive is the target shares,
for sure. The negative Garrett Wilson's there, They're Jets, They're
going to pack this thing completely in and even with
all those targets, he's doing nothing with him. Think he
(14:48):
was a twelve percent target share this weekend, even though
he was the best wide receiver for the Jets. It
was a twelve percent in week eleven amount on DeVante
Adams the rest of the season kind of in general
insid of like Breece Hall, I think this is just
going to be a rough go through the end of
this season. And DeVante Adams and Aaron Rodgers are both
the type of players that I think you're going to
(15:08):
really visually see them packing it in and uh and
getting out those last couple of weeks.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
Ericson, I don't know if you've looked, but where do
you think DeVante Adams is ranked in our RESCT of
season ECR.
Speaker 4 (15:22):
Wide Receiver twenty four.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
Very close that I already told you Lad McConkie's wide
receiver twenty four.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
You should have remembered.
Speaker 3 (15:30):
That came on to you.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
Wow, thank you for that.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
DeVante Adams is wide receiver twenty five. He has one
behind Conky and rest of the season, so not even
you know, a wide receiver two in our consensus rankings here.
Speaker 5 (15:45):
I think it's I mean, it's fair. The thing with
Adams and the reason why I'm holding a light out
for some of these Jets players is, I mean they're.
Speaker 4 (15:53):
Packing Who else are they packing in for?
Speaker 5 (15:54):
They've already fired everybody, Right, so when the Jets play
the Jaguars.
Speaker 4 (16:00):
In week fifteen, is a great man?
Speaker 5 (16:01):
I mean like that that see, That's the thing. They
played the Jaguars week fifteen and the Rams in week sixteen, right, Like,
I mean, at this point, is Roger's gonna be like, well,
I'm just not gonna like play like he's gonna play.
It's not, He's just gonna again. It's it's really hard
to get an idea of, you know, the mindset of
this Jets team. Obviously, it's been a horrible season. They're
not gonna make the playoffs. They're not going to win
(16:22):
the Super Bowl all these things, But are we just
going to see this team just like are they going
to crumble? I mean last year, I mean Breist Hall
was one of the best players you had and that
team was also.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
An A S show.
Speaker 5 (16:34):
So I guess for me, it's are we overvaluing the
doom of the Jets? Where now you canet Devanta Adams
for I'll give you. I don't know, I have Lad Cooper,
I think I can get.
Speaker 4 (16:45):
I know lads ranked a head so yeah.
Speaker 3 (16:48):
Yeah, but I but on a weekly basis, he's not.
I don't think there's been a single week this season
where Devanta Adams has been active that Lad McConkie has
ranked over on the weekly consensus. So the rest of
season ranks is telling a little bit of a different
story than what the week to week rank is, and
it's a great matchup. That's kind of my point. I
want out from Adams now, and I would love to
(17:09):
get someone like Lad. I always say this like positional
positional type of trades are really weird and sometimes don't work,
But like DeVante Adams, I think more people are paying
attention to that weekly rank, and I would rather have
lad come back to what we've been saying over this show.
In the last show, Tyrone Tracy. Could I go get
a running back like Tyrone Tracy who's in the twenties
(17:31):
for a guy like Adams. I want out for Adams
and it's secondary to a guy that gets massive. Target
should be something that we get really excited about. He's
done absolutely nothing with him by the way. I think
he had Oh you know what it was. It was
twelve percent air yard share is what it was, not
the target share. He doesn't move the ball deep. That's
Garrett Wilson's job. There's just nothing there. He's becoming the
Wandel Robinson on just you know the other New York
(17:54):
team want Yeah.
Speaker 4 (17:56):
Are you trading Adams Againt Cedric Tellman.
Speaker 3 (18:00):
I think that's kind of lateral. But maybe my problem
with the Tilman one is I argue against Tilman because
everyone's like Tilman is the greatest wide receiver ever. It's okay,
but they given seven targets per those three wide receivers,
and Judy busted out this week, so he is the
wrong one. I'd rather have Juwan Jennings shocker for some
people than Adams dressed the season.
Speaker 4 (18:21):
That's good. That's a good one.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
I'd rather have Tillman that Adam's honestly all right, erics
if he's your wide receiver to.
Speaker 5 (18:27):
Sell leak neighbors New York Giants wide receiver. I just
don't want Tommy Cutletz.
Speaker 4 (18:33):
I just don't.
Speaker 5 (18:34):
I think they better off starting Drew Locke, to be
totally honest, because the thing that I'm concerned about is
with neighbors. We know the quarterback play's gonna be bad,
so he needs volume, right, And I thought, hey, you're
taking Daniel Jones out of the lineup. He's a mobile quarterback.
He has a lot of rushing attemps. Okay, now he's
turned into passing attempts. Well, tell me Defto is exact
same thing. Like, he's a guy that likes to use
his legs and that's what he does, he scrambles. So
(18:55):
I don't think that this is an upgrade in any way,
shape or for I think it's a clear downgrade. I
don't think they're they're benching Danigel because the injury guarantee,
not because they think that Tommy DeVito is better than
Daniel Jones.
Speaker 4 (19:05):
He's not better than Danie Jones.
Speaker 3 (19:06):
You also see why Drew Locke is not playing because
of his contract incentives he has.
Speaker 4 (19:10):
So that they're not playing the best quarterback for their team.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
For everybody, real quick, I'll do it quickly. Locke has
incentives a quarter of a million dollars if he plays
forty to fifty sixty and seventy percent of snaps each,
he has passing incentives, and that was a quarter of
a million for each one of those ninety two point
five pass rating, quarter million, sixty five percent completion rating,
quarter of a million, eighty eight passing rating with fifteen
(19:35):
touchdowns and two thousand yards quarter of a million each,
and then there are two half a million that he
couldn't hit. That's roughly two million dollars in incentives. That
is another reason why DeVito is most likely the quarterback
and not Drew Locke.
Speaker 1 (19:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (19:48):
So, and looking back at what cotlet, yeah cutlet, what
Divito did last year. You know, look at the wide
receiver finishes with the Giants when he was starting those games,
the best ones were seventeen is half PPR seventeen, twelve, thirteen, sixteen,
So in seven games, those four were the best. So
he had basically best case scenario was a top fifteen
finished but not inside the top ten. So no Giants
(20:10):
receiver ever finished the top ten with Tommy DeVito as
their quarterback, and that was only in half the games.
The other half the games it was finishes around thirty two,
forty fifty two, twenty three, thirty four, thirty six, seventy nine.
So I think Neighbors is going to be end up
being a wide receiver two low and wide receiver two
rest of season with Tommy DeVito as his quarterback.
Speaker 4 (20:30):
So I just I think can get way more for that.
Speaker 5 (20:32):
I don't think that he's in the wide receiver two
range and rest of the season rankings. His hot start
is still kind of carrying him, even though he hasn't
nearly been as productive once he came back from the
concussion because Darius Slayton has been more involved, Wandelle Robinson
has been more involved. And again, the Giants aren't trying
to win games, right, they don't care. They're just trying
to get to the end of the season. Brian Davie's
trying to salvage his job so he doesn't lose it
(20:53):
and then they can draft a quarterback next year. So
I think that the Neighbors for Pickens deal that makes
so much sense to that type of flip. Yeah, I
just don't want parts of this Giants offense, or excuse me,
the Giants passing game, like Tyron Tracy as a bye.
But I don't like Molik Neighbors, peciallycause he's probably gonna
be overvalued.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (21:11):
Well we already kind of mentioned that Neighbors is in
the top ten right now in our rest of season
ECR among swide receivers.
Speaker 2 (21:16):
That feels like it's a bit rich.
Speaker 1 (21:18):
I mean, if we're knocking down Ceed Lamb for Cooper Rush, like,
why would we not knock down Malik Neighbors a significant
amount for Tommy Cutlet's so where do you have Neighbors?
Speaker 2 (21:27):
And what do you think about him as a cell?
Speaker 3 (21:29):
Yeah? No, I agree with this, Like there's this other thing.
It's just a mystery, like what will de Vido be
with this offense? You almost saw this, not to completely
compare it, but when you go back to that Cowboy
Monday night football game, what did you see? And it's
like a classic backup quarterback thing that happened? What did
you see? Cooper Rush? Do go to these like second
and third string wide receivers that he had worked with. So,
(21:50):
you know, do we know like Isdvito gonna be maybe
a little bit more prone to want to hit Darius Slayton.
Not to say that that's gonna happen, but I just
don't think we have the guarantee. What was the thing
we loved about Malake Neighbors. Hey, it's fifteen targets every
single game, and the least the mass volume is going
to do something nice. We just don't know that that's
going to happen. And if Devido's as bad as Rush
they're not, they're gonna have less offensive opportunities in general
(22:13):
for some of those big deep passes. So I don't know.
I don't think it feels great with Malik Neighbors. I
don't think he's going to be nothing, but he might
go the way of like a CD Lamb at this point,
especially if Slayton does get more involved than Wandell has
taking that and frankly we're buying Tyrone Tracy, you know,
they might he might not feel comfortable with second reads
and just dump offs to Tyrone Tracy, which makes him
(22:34):
a little bit more valuable. I love this might be
the best one if we're really looking at like because
we've had like guys like, hey, I don't want this
guy rest of season and I don't trust this Malak
Neighbors might be the sharpest of all of these because
he still has high value rest of season rank wide
receiver one, and you could sell off of it and
probably get you know, more realistically like two players you
(22:58):
could not saying you could do that, but like get
the theme Lad McConkie and Tyrone Tracy from Alik Neighbors.
I think there are some leagues out there that something
like that could happen. Not guaranteeing it, but if you
can consolidate, I think you can put yourself on a
much better spot. So shout out to Ericson for the
sharp play on the trades of trading away Milli Neighbors.
Speaker 1 (23:19):
By seller hold wide Receivers. We'll start with Khalil Shakir,
Lad McConkie, Juwan Jennings again, Shakir mkonkie Jennings. These guys
are back to back to back in ECR Welsh.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
Who are you buying? Who are you selling? Who are
you hold?
Speaker 3 (23:32):
Well, We're gonna sell Shakir because we don't need no
Khalil Shakir here because you got my two other besties.
We are going to buy Juwan Jennings and hold Lad
McConkie here. I had Juwan Jennings last week. The Juwan
Jennings whisper eleven targets X receiver the number one. I
think there's an argument the Juwan Jennings over Deebo Samuel
(23:54):
rest of season. Juwan Jennings is the truth for the
forty nine ers. He plays that high inside. They'd love
They don't really throw the ball deep on the outsides.
They love to bring Jennings on the inside. They're very
comfortable with him there. He's gonna get seven to eight
targets per game, and he's just still not fully trust
people still ranking him in the thirties last week after
(24:14):
the big performance. Now maybe two weeks he's gonna move up,
but I've just held that he's a wide receiver too.
So I'm buying because I think Jennings and Lad McConkie's
value is actually relatively similar. Maybe Jennings is slightly higher,
but I'm gonna go I'm stupid Homer. Anyways, I'll go
with Juan Jennings. As the bye lad as the hold
because we love him, Khalil Shakir because those other two
(24:35):
are just too good.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
Ericson Shakir Mkonkie Jennings.
Speaker 5 (24:39):
Yeah, I think mccauky's the bye still because I think
that is a rookie who's a clear alpha in his
passing game. That's just the guy I want probably the most.
And he's a rookie and he's breaking out in the
second half, so that's exactly what we want.
Speaker 4 (24:50):
Jennings Yeah, I mean he has to be. You can't
get rid of Why would you get rid of him?
You can't.
Speaker 5 (24:55):
You can't get rid of Juwan Jennings. You have him
and be happy with Juwan Jennings. I was kind of
thinking of out, well if I could get more for Jennings,
but then I was starting to you know, I thought
about more about it, and he's like, no, like, this
is this is this is not the time to just
try to, you know, get every ounce of ev out
of this trade.
Speaker 4 (25:12):
It's no. You want the best guy.
Speaker 5 (25:13):
You want the guy with the most upside any given week,
and that is Juwan Jennings by far. And we've seen
it already this year where I think he has doesn't
have a wide receiver one overall finish this season. So
although Shakir has a really high floor every single week
because he's just so consistent, well, a lot of the
Bills receivers have been hurt and a lot of them
have missed time. So what happens when those guys come back?
Maybe that hurts Shakira's bottom line and he hasn't shown
(25:35):
this insane upside like a Jennings. So again going back to, hey,
who is in my opponent's lineup this week? Who am
I more afraid of? I'm afraid of Juwan Jennings because
we've just seen him go off if from Monster Games,
where Shakir, yeah, you feel good about plugging in your
lineup every single week, but Jennings is that shot that
hey he puts up thirty because we see these four
nine ers players just go off these random spike weeks,
(25:57):
and more recently it's been Juwan Jennings kind of having
these Monster Games and he's just brock Perty's guy. So
I think it's close between shakieren Jennings. But yeah, I
just want to I think Jennings is the upside play,
And what do we say upside wins championships.
Speaker 1 (26:11):
Another trio here, Brian Thomas Junior, Josh Downs, Courtland Sutton, Ericson,
Biseller Hold Thomas, Downs, Sutton.
Speaker 4 (26:19):
I think Downs is probably the cell high.
Speaker 5 (26:22):
The Colts have a really bad schedule rest of the season,
and it's still Anthony Richardson as quarterback. So I know
it worked out this week, but what happens next week
when Downs isn't catching the touchdownor isn't catching the overthrown
pass from Anthony Richardson? So that concerns me where his
value can bought him out very very quickly, especially because
he doesn't lead his team in routes. I know he's
a target machine, and I think he's a really great player,
(26:43):
but there are scenarios where he can bought him out
very quickly if Richardson has a bad game, where I
think Sutton is kind of the low key buy just
Broncos have one of the best schedules rest of seasons.
Sutton has been super consistent ever since that New Orleans
Saints game where he got zero targets. Boenix is playing
really really well soon. I think it's the low key
by just giving the favorable schedule rest of the way.
(27:04):
I think Brian Thomas Junior kind of stuck with him
because nobody wants Jaguars players. Trevor Lawrence is hurt, He's
also dealing with an injury. But even in this past
game where they were counted out, he's still got there
right against the Detroit Lions and they're getting absolutely destroyed.
He still end up getting eighty plus receiving yards.
Speaker 4 (27:21):
Should have had more.
Speaker 5 (27:22):
So Brian Thomas, long as he's healthy again. I think
there are worst flex plays that you could throw out there,
because hey, Brian Thomas is a really talented guy. So
and I just don't think you're gonna get anywhere near
the amount of value you'd want for Brian Thomas Junior.
So I'll hold the light onw for Thomas because I
think Trevor Lawrence will come back, probably gonna move on
from Doug Peterson, so maybe we see some flesh of
life from the Jacksonville offense because he's kind of the
only person left besides Evan Ingram catching dump off passes.
(27:44):
So I will hold Brian Thomas Junior. I will sell
Josh Downs and buy Courtland Sutton. Well.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
I'm shocked because I thought this one was a really
like unique one. That's a good one you put together,
Worm and I think it go a lot of different directions.
We are lockstep, we are one hundred percent with each other.
I think Brian Thomas is the clear hold here form.
Really you broke everything down. I don't even know if
like you're selling high on Josh Downs more than like
the trust least I suppose Anthony Richardson with Josh Downs,
(28:13):
Brian Thomas still is such an incredible separator and Lawrence
coming back you feel more positive about and Sutton, like
because bo Nix has been incredible, Like the only negative
would be bon Nix is getting so many guys involved,
But Sutton is the one. So I think you said
it really well. You buy Sutton, you sell Downs, and
you hold Brian Thomas and hope that the future is
(28:35):
brighter for him.
Speaker 1 (28:36):
All Right, we'll wrap up there since you guys are
in agreement. Thank everybody for tuning in. Best of luck
this week. If you still have trades to make, hopefully
you can get those to go through before your deadlines
in your leagues. For Welsh Ed and Ericson, I'm ryan
warmly thank you everybody for tuning in.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
And we'll see again in two weeks.
Speaker 1 (28:53):
For this show, as you start looking at some predictions
every day.
Speaker 4 (28:56):
The turkey, the turkey go right, go right.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
For the sides, the mask demonstrably false.
