Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome in everybody to Fantasy Pros. This is out of
Bounds and this is me Joey p Joepi's it be
a fresh from vacation, refreshed ready for the big week
ahead of us with my two best friends, the Welsh
and the Scott Bogman, and it's all of you hanging
out with us here on our twitch Twitch dot tv
slash Fantasy Pros. That's the place to be. We're gonna
be here for out of Bounds this Monday, today and
then next Monday recapping the NFL Draft. So today we
(00:23):
thought we'd have a little bit of fun before things
get super serious, because the NFL Draft is a very
serious thing. And when I think about serious things, the
first person that comes to mind is clearly you, Scott Bodman.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
Yeah, some very serious person. Take everything serious. Yes, not
everything in the world to joke, that's for sure.
Speaker 3 (00:41):
I always take a man serious. With an unbuttoned collared
shirt with a graphic T shirt under two it's the
most serious of serious as well.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
The most adult too. Yeah, yeah, exactly, very grown up.
Speaker 1 (00:53):
Yes, that's what he wears to all formal events nowadays.
But we're gonna have some fun today with.
Speaker 4 (00:58):
My best shorts, my most jorts.
Speaker 1 (01:02):
Well that is that is kind of timely though John
Cena now w W champion again.
Speaker 4 (01:07):
That being said, he is also organ like me, how
white is he? Did he he is?
Speaker 1 (01:12):
He has not seem quite I'm.
Speaker 4 (01:14):
Just in what's the Vampire movie? Interview with the vampire Like.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
I was just gonna say Powder, but you know that
wasn't him in Powder. I forget who that was. Well,
you think that now that Sena is champion again, it
could be the summer of Sena, we maybe get some
jorts coming back in the style.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
I don't think so he's playing the villain. He's the heel.
I actually got to I was explaining heel and face
to my kid just the other day with WrestleMania going on.
But no, he's full heel. So I don't think people
are gonna jump. He's not a very good heel either, too,
Like I don't understand it. I'm too far a move
from wrestling that like zero impact in the world when
he became I know, he was never a bad guy
(01:50):
and then he became a bad guy. But he's like
really bad at it and it doesn't go over like
any other villains. So no, I think jeorts are not
going to go in because it's summer of scenes.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Isn't shirtless with georts of Florida tuxedo?
Speaker 4 (02:03):
Isn't that what it's called?
Speaker 3 (02:06):
I believe, So I think, ye, well, yeah, the beater
a little beater and that's that's the that's the form
of Florida.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
You know, it's a shame because the jorts are actually
kind of comfortable. I like the feel of I remember.
Speaker 4 (02:19):
I still have for real, I don't see.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
George were a real thing back Like I think when
I was in middle school is when the jorts were
like a thing. They are super comfortable, super you know, practical,
and then you know you're like, well these aren't really
a good look and they go out of fashion. But
I don't know, maybe John Seene, if anybody, could bring
them back. But you're kind of right. The scena heel
turn is a little kind of I don't know, I'd
(02:42):
not say forced. I think it's fun at times, but
at the same force, I think everyone's not good. Everyone's
just trying to love the fact that it's different. And
speaking of that, that's why everyone loves us because we're
different too, so we're gonna go ahead and jump into
some fantasy predictions here, just have some fun. And obviously
it feels like cam is a lock here. All three
of us believe he's going to go to the Titans.
(03:04):
That seems like a foregone conclusion. So Welsh, when it
comes down to cam Ward at this stage, it does
feel like the foregone conclusion. So I'm just gonna pivot
from the prediction to the question, which is is Kim
Ward the franchise quarterback that the Titans are going to
build on and become a franchise that gets back into
the playoffs.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
The first one is yes. The second one is probably not.
I don't. I mean, we know the maturation period for
a lot of these teams with young quarterbacks, and you
want to have the core pieces around it. So I
think that would be the question is like, do the
Titans have the core pieces around I don't think so, don't.
I think it's probably not this draft away. It's probably
(03:45):
a couple drafts away. You hope there's not going to
be the crazy long transitional We're also we're putting a
big question in, but yes, he will be the franchise
quarterback that they are going to build around. Maybe this
draft they're going to make some other big shots and
maybe one thing you love to do when a team
gets like a franchise quarterback, because you love for them
to pair with like a really great franchise type wide receiver.
(04:06):
I'd love to see them go heavy on that. But
I think this is probably going to take a year
or two, so I don't see a playoff in the
very near future.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
Well with it taking a couple of years here, Bobs,
do you think maybe let's say they're drafting at the
top again the next year, right, I think that's probably
a likely scenario for the Titans. I don't expect them
to be a ten win team all of a sudden.
How far away are they from being competitive again with
that roster that they currently have.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
I think the defense is the big thing here. I
think you can change the offense significantly this year by
adding cam Ward and I think you know, if you
use that second round pick for a wide out, it'll
help a lot as well. But Calvin Ridley was good,
he needs a real quarterback. Chicka Congo is good. He
needs a real quarterback. They've spent a lot of money
on the offensive line and draft picks it's the defense
(04:52):
they traded for Snead. He got hurt and then was miserable.
They have no pass rush right now, and they let
Harold Landrew walk like they need they need defensive help.
All they have are Simmons and Sweat. The linebackers need help,
the safeties need to help, the corners need help, and
they really need to put pressure. So it's gonna be
a couple of seasons before they're super competitive in my opinion,
(05:14):
unless like every draft pick hits.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
You almost need. You need the like Jade and Daniels
thing where everybody just like wants to instantly go play
for the guy too, because like that would be the
other thing that would be great for them is if
they could hit free agency with some defensive pieces. But
you need every and I don't know that cam Ward
is in that spot. Jade Daniels walked in, you had
a lot of offensive side of players that want it,
but you want him to instantly come in own the
team and everyone's like, wow, I want to go and
(05:38):
play for this upcoming organization. And I don't think that
doesn't feel the same. The cam Ward doesn't feel like
the Jade and Daniels situation. From last year at all.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
Shout out to father men here, happy to have us back.
We took a little hiatus again. This is kind of
a peak baseball season for some of us, peak NFL
draft season for others. So we're gonna do another show
next week without a bounds, and then well back in
the summertime when football really starts to heat up. Shador
Sanders that's the guy that may or may not go
next here. So when we're looking at the quarterbacks here,
(06:07):
prediction here for Bogman and myself or both that he
ends up with the New York Giants. Bogman, you have
him trading up now. I guess the question is is
the New York Giant quarterback room already full? And it
seems like a very harmonious place. Let's take a live
look at the New York Giants quarterback room right now. Look,
I can't blame the Giant fans for feeling that way,
(06:28):
but it makes me feel good. That is my favorite meme,
Scott Bogman. I don't know something about that.
Speaker 4 (06:33):
It just makes my and my favorite is something that
really happened.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
It was Schador being talked to by Dion, and Dion
said you're gonna have a sermon before every snap.
Speaker 4 (06:43):
In that quarterback room.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
It's Winston and Wilson in there, like, it is a
very interesting QB room, to say the least. I'm just
starting to think that Schador slips. And I know Pittsburgh
would love him. I know Tomlin loves him. But I
think for me, it's the Giants trading up back into
the second or back into the back of the first
(07:07):
to get Shador.
Speaker 4 (07:08):
If he starts to slip, that's.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
Oh, that's I was curious at what that fall. Yeah,
I was curious at what you make because all you
put on the sheet was trade up, and I was like,
so they're gonna just trade to two so no one
gets above them. So you're saying he slips and they're
coming back.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
Yeah, it seems like New Orleans either is going to
skip quarterback where they really like Jackson Dart. I can't
really read the smoke signals and tell what's true in
all of that stuff, so and I don't They may
not even pick him, But I think if you're the Giants,
you have two quarterbacks that are viable for this year.
The QB class is better next year, so just take
(07:43):
a dual Carter, like you just need to.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
You know, that's really interesting.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
I think you can't miss with this pick if you
take Carter. So just take him and you know, ride
with the quarterbacks this year if you can trade up
and get Shador if he falls, do that, or take
a risk on a Milrow or somebody else, somebody that
can sit and needs to sit.
Speaker 4 (08:04):
But I don't know.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
I'm just I feel like Chador is losing a little
bit of steam here. The closer we get.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
Now, Welsh, you think that Shaudor ends up with the
Cleveland Browns correct over it.
Speaker 3 (08:14):
Well, I'm doing something a little bit different here. I
think the clear play here is what you guys are
talking about the Giants, But mine is a little bit different.
It is not that the Browns will take him with
that pick. It's they're going to take Travis Hunter. Like
it almost looks like a foregone conclusion. They're going to
trade back up. So I'm going to say that with
(08:34):
the third pick, you're gonna end up getting Abdull Carter.
And what that's going to do is that's going to
destroy some plans to the Patriots, and let's have the
Patriots trade out get next year's first, this year's first,
in the second, a third, and probably more, And the
Browns do the pairing of Hunter and Shador Sanders in Cleveland.
(08:57):
They trade the franchise out to get both of those
guys to rework the franchise. They're both faces. Deon's happy
they're playing together. Who wants to play in Cleveland? This
is the thing that cures it. So they get to
play together, and the Browns sell the house on it
because the Patriots they end up getting the rug pulled
out from them because they want empdual Carter. So that's
gonna be my fun little side play to this. If
(09:18):
the obvious doesn't let me, let me.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
Get this track right here. So you're saying, we got
cam going at one, and then at two, Brown selecting
Hunter yep. Then the Giants not taking should or Sanders
here at three taking up door instead, and then and
then the Patriots sitting there going, well, we can get
our offensive tackle later. Let's load up on some of
more picks and we need some more That's interesting, I mean,
(09:41):
very Patriots thing.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
To do, exactly exactly right.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Remember when the Texans did that too, when they got
Stroud and then trade it back up to get Will
Anderson to have it, and.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Then we'll get remade the organization. We're bringing in the
your franchise quarterback and your franchise defensive player. Remade that
organization and put them in the playoffs the next year, and.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
Two players to do it. Franchise quarterback Bubby Watson. You
get an offensive and defensive player at a Hunter. They
sell out next year, probably sell the one, the two.
They sell their two this year. Maybe they have to
give a player, but you sell it to reface this organization,
and Abdul Carter at three might end up. And hell,
maybe Bogman's plan ends up working out here where maybe
(10:21):
it's just Shadur's kind of falling, and the Patriots say
we're taking Will Campbell, and then the Jags maybe get
their guy, and we'll talk about what the Raiders are doing.
And then all of a sudden it's seven or eight.
Maybe businesses open even more and it's a different way.
But I kind of just think this Patriots version makes sense.
A dual Carter's gone, and they just say, you know what,
let's just get Let's do the Patriot way. Let's get
all the picks that we can. We like where this
(10:41):
is going and they ball out like that.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
If he falls past nine, it's going to be shadoor
watch for the rest of the first round.
Speaker 4 (10:48):
It's gonna be.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
Who trades up, who moves back to try to try
to come up and get him.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
I like it the intrigue here as we get closer
and closer to Draft night. And remember we're gonna be
live Draft night right here on the channel, So make
sure you suscribe to the Fantasy Pros YouTube ring the
Belts that goes Daning, drop your comments all that fun stuff.
That way, you never missed a single solitary moment of
any of the coverage here of the draft. Night one
and Night two will be on for both of those
bad boys, so make sure you're with us. Next quarterback
(11:14):
to talk about here, Jackson Dart. I could see Cleveland
not moving all their draft capital, go ahead taking Travis Hunter,
and then maybe taking Jackson Dart early in the second
round the very top if he slips into Night two, Welsh,
you have a different scenario here. Wh's your landing spot
for Jackson Dart.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
Yeah, I think Bagman's probably gonna lay out the most
likely scenario that's going on Your's is kind of interesting.
Your yours is like an offshoot of kind of where
I was going with this too, Like you've got to
care that in the second round. Yeah, exactly. It's not
a big capital move this one. I don't know if
Bog gonna like it or not, but I think the
Pittsburgh Steelers are probably gonna want to tackle that quarterback position.
(11:52):
Jackson Dart, I think is a hot name, and I'm
gonna say that this is not I've seen mock drafts
go from Jackson Dart going as high as nine overall
to the third round, and we're talking mock drafts that
have happened in the last like three days that are
still going on. I'm gonna say it's obviously still first
and I put trade down. I think there's probably an
opportunity that could trade up, but maybe Dart is just
(12:14):
pushed back a little bit. The Pittsburgh Steelers trade down,
they end up taking Dart. Maybe it's trade up, trade down,
but I'm gonna go with the Steelers getting their potential
franchise quarterback and maybe the only other quarterback that teams
really really like. Usually don't see crazy high investment in
the Pittsburgh Steelers. You know, commonly you would just be like,
what defensive lineman or offensive lineman of the Steelers is
gonna take in the first round. But this would be
(12:35):
the one because they put themselves in a situation where
you had these two guys last year. Now you're looking
they're gone, Mason rudolp like, you can't do that, like
you got They've got to build around that. They've got
to have a backup plan besides these crappy quarterbacks that
are around there. So I think Dart will be the
answer and they will take them in some capacity of
the first round.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
Boggs, what about Dart for you? Where's your potential landing
spot in your opinion?
Speaker 2 (12:59):
Yeah, I don't hate it for Pittsburgh. You got to
do something right, Like it's just Mason Rudolph right now.
We're assuming Aaron Rodgers is going to be there, but
they got to do something. So a quarterback is getting
drafted by PITTSBA even if Rogers.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
Did go there, by the way, they should still do
this move.
Speaker 4 (13:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
Yeah, well, I think they're going to take a defensive
lineman with that first pick, but we'll see. They have
to address it. It has to be addressed at some
point in the draft. No matter what I look at
New Orleans, I want them to trade back and you know,
pick up some more picks if they're going to take
Jackson Dart, if this is the guy that they like,
(13:34):
but they got to do something. Derek Carr is likely
not going to play at all this season, so now
it's you know, Jake Hayner and Spencer Rattler who auditioned
last year and we're miserable. You know, maybe an offseason
helps one of those guys, but you have to give
yourself options. They have no cap space for the next
(13:54):
few seasons, right Like, this is why Gilmore got this job.
Nobody else wanted it. It's a disastrous scenario there. You
have to have someone to throw the ball. They need
to take one early, so I think Jackson Dart at
nine or later makes sense for them.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
Father Man's question here one one and one O three
and super flex rookie draft need RB so obviously taking
genty but who do you take with the one O
three quarterbacks? Right now they have our deck and Hurts,
so pretty good situation there. So if you take genty
one at three Bogs, you're mister Dynasty, where would you
go with a third overall pick here? Knowing what these
quarterbacks are, would you just pivot to a Ted McMillan
(14:34):
or Matthew Golden or maybe another running back?
Speaker 2 (14:37):
I would take whoever falls between Kim Warden, Omari and Hampton.
That is my next pick for sure, specifically if Hampton
ends up in Denver or scenario where they need a
lead back right now today and they don't have a
good one. Yeah, I think Hampton is just almost as
can't miss as Genty, The violence, the burst at the line,
(14:58):
just a lot of fun to watch. A big fan
of Hampton, and I think cam Ward, you know, just
you think about the leash you get when you're the
number one overall pick, and even if you're a first
round quarterback, like we were going through this on the
Dynasty Show today, who are the first round quarterbacks that
are aren't in the league since twenty sixteen. It's like
Josh Rosen and Paxton Lynch. That's about it. Everybody else
(15:20):
is either at least a backup. And you know, Sam
Turnold's on his fifth spot and they got one hundred
million dollars, So I think that, you know, being the
first overall pick just gives you a long leash.
Speaker 4 (15:33):
And gives you a lot of value as well at quarterback.
Speaker 3 (15:35):
I kind of like the sneakiness of this, though, I
just wanted to just quickly say, is like knowing that
I guess you have to put Shador on cam Ward's
level if if you're there taking gent at one, knowing
that one of those quarterbacks is going to be back
is really slick because if you if yeah, yeah, because
if you go Ward at one, there's no guarantee that
(15:57):
gent Genty's probably going to be too. So I really
like that, But obviously that's got to be in your
evaluation of thinking that Shador is in the same general
space as well.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
Hate Shadoor with my league neighbors in New York. If
that's where it ends up being, you know, I don't
think it's the worst scenario, but we'll see Milroe another guy.
I think the Rams will be a fun landing spot
for him personally. You know, work with Sean McVay, learned
under Matthew Stafford one of our mocks that was actually
recently where he ended up, and I thought, you know what,
that looks like a good smart bet for the future.
Maybe see what you can do when you have time,
(16:28):
energy in the right environment to grow a quarterback like that. Well,
should you have a landing spot for Jalen Milroe in mind?
Speaker 3 (16:33):
Yeah, I'm gonna go with New Orleans. We like we
were talking about before in this scenario that I'm putting
out here in New Orleans didn't get to have any
like crazy early investment on a quarterback. But I know
Milroe is moving back up, so this is going to
be where they're going to go to tackle the quarterback
instead of spending a huge high investment in Dart not
being able to under my scenario, be able to get
(16:54):
to be able to get Dart because the Pittsburgh Steelers,
So Milroe. I'm gonna have go into the Saints tell about.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
Milroe for you.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
How about the Raiders in the second round or maybe
trade back into the first get that extra year of eligibility. Yes,
they traded for Gino. I understand all that.
Speaker 4 (17:10):
I get it.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
Pete Carroll is working on a short window. But you
have to have somebody else. Aiban O'Connell's proven he can't
do it. There's nobody else on the roster that's very
good and I think Milroe's a guy that needs time.
If he has time to sit behind a guy like
Geno Smith for a season and a half two seasons,
I think he would be ready to rip and roar
(17:31):
as a starter. So I want a scenario like that
for him because I love the upside. I think if
he's in New Orleans, he's thrust into playing time a
little bit too early. Doesn't mean that the Saints won't
do it. They might be the reason why he was
invited to the first round, so we'll see.
Speaker 4 (17:48):
Steeles might be two, so we shall see.
Speaker 1 (17:51):
I didn't get invited, which is rude. And obviously, if
you're a big NFL fan, thank you. I appreciate that.

Speaker 1 (19:16):
All right, so let's get after some of these landing
spots potentially for the running backs and the wide receivers Genty.
All three of us have Las Vegas Bogman real quick,
I mean, we all love Genty. This feels like a
really good fit. What would his redraft value be in
terms of where you would rank him if indeed Vegas
(19:37):
is the spot.
Speaker 4 (19:37):
First round pick.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
I mean, I've been calling him Minnie Marshawn since the beginning,
So it'd make a lot of sense for Pete Carroll
to take him and just structure the entire offense around him.
He's a heavy workload guy, tons of carries in college,
just incredible contact, bounce it. Dude, will not get tackled.
He's like a pinball. It's insane. So can run past
(20:00):
and over guys. Just unbelievable talent, and he would reshape
the entire face of the Raiders offense immediately.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
Welsh all three of us for Omar and Hampton selected
the Denver Broncos, So not too much variants there either.
Your thoughts on his redraft value because they certainly need
a running back. It certainly makes a lot of sense.
It makes a decent value. Box was talking about Hampton
earlier when he was answering the question there. It feels
like that would also propel him to what maybe a
(20:32):
second round pick already potentially in redrafts if Amurian Hampton
does indeed end up with the Broncos.
Speaker 3 (20:38):
I mean, you're saying like second overall in fantasy, like
in I'm saying draft.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
No, I'm saying in redraft's second round, like late second round.
Speaker 3 (20:46):
Oh yeah, yah, that's what I meant.
Speaker 1 (20:46):
I said he's gonna be the guy.
Speaker 3 (20:48):
Yeah yea, and kind of in quicktly said that, I
meant like second round, like, oh yeah, I think that's
a little too high, especially on a Denver Broncos running back.
We got to see what the commitment is going to
look like. Great yards after contact. They absolutely need it.
They're gonna need especially with how they like to run,
when the quarterback position and the wide receivers to set
(21:09):
up proper like play action establishing a run. He seems
like the perfect bag back. I'm not sure I would
call him a second round in fantasy, but I think
it's I don't know, maybe it's gonna line up more
like third, fourth. Maybe he's gonna get high trajectory like
a Bucky Irving is going to just kind of fly up,
but he's gonna this is like a slam dunk situation
for him to be there.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
Certainly does look like that. Let's get to another big
running back here on the board, Caleb Johnson. I think
the Bears with one of those two picks of the
second round could be a contender there. Welsh, your pick
is the Dallas Cowboys. Let's talk about that, and God
knows they could use some running back help there.
Speaker 6 (21:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (21:43):
I mean I think we all are kind of looking
at like these running backs and if I remember correctly
or if I'm looking correctly, yeah, we all have picked
a running back to go to the Dallas Cowboys. We
know they're gonna need. Yeah, They're gonna need a guy,
and I think this is the guy. I think a
high er ish investment if it's like second round, like
this makes a ton of sense for him. Huge year
(22:04):
last year in twenty one touchdowns over fifteen hundred yards.
I think this would be that kind of I don't
know what you want to call it, workhorse, but like
great inside rotational running back that they can get out
there and start to lean on, which they've been missing
even in the stupid years of them bringing back the
corpse of Ezekiel Elliott to play along, like, this is
(22:24):
the guy that they can get that offense around, because
it's like in the receiving side. I think they're comfortable.
You can always build in more offensive line. They got
the tight end, they got the quarterback. Caleb Johnson is
the guy all right.
Speaker 1 (22:35):
Now, Bogman, you didn't pick Caleb to go to the Cowboys.
We'll get to your Cowboys running back in a second.
Where did you pick Caleb to land?
Speaker 4 (22:41):
I put him in Cincinnati.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
Now, look, the Bengals could use every single selection on defense,
which shouldn't would probably boost their team more than anything,
but they got to have another running back. I love
Chase Brown. He's he had a ton of carries to Illinois.
He can be a three down back. I don't think
he lasts in the NFL out of his size being
a three down back. So you bring a guy that
(23:03):
can play on first and second down, like Caleb Johnson,
but still have Chase Brown as the main back. I mean,
Zach Moss just is not gonna last. He's the backup.
Samashally p Ryan is way past his prime. He's the
third and they have nobody else of significance behind him.
They need a back from this class somewhere. I think
Caleb fits there pretty well.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
All right, my Dallas cowboy running back is Traveon Henderson. Bogman,
who is your landing spot for Travion?
Speaker 2 (23:29):
I you know, I did a seven round mock with
our guy c K seven seven.
Speaker 4 (23:35):
We did the full seventh.
Speaker 1 (23:36):
The answer to earlier question, why are you so white?
Speaker 4 (23:39):
This is why?
Speaker 1 (23:40):
This is why. Because you're doing seven round marks, you
should be outside taking a walk.
Speaker 3 (23:45):
In problem touch some grass son.
Speaker 4 (23:47):
I know, probably right, but.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
K kind of lobbied for Traveon Henderson behind Jonathan Taylor
in Indy. It just makes so much sense. They have
nobody behind him right now. He has gotten hurt in
his career. Trevion Henderson is a guy that's been banged
up at Ohio State. Probably not a guy that needs
to take every single carry for a team. I think
a fifteen touch limitter would be pretty good for him.
(24:13):
And if you're behind Jonathan Taylor, that's where you're gonna be,
and you can come in against a worn down defense
late in the game and with his speed really break
it open. So I hate the landing spot for fantasy.
But I do see its viability in terms of, you know,
just being able to come in and improve this team immediately.
(24:34):
And with the quarterback situation, you want another running back.
JT cannot go down and you have nobody behind him.
Speaker 1 (24:41):
Okay, Welsh, how about Trevon Henderson for you?
Speaker 3 (24:44):
Yeah, just quickly, I'm going to Houston. I was trying
to ship a running back to Houston. I think he
makes a ton of sense. You've got Joe Mixon. I
think they're I think they're done with some of the
experiments behind at this point. I mean, I know, like
if you look at depth charts, you got a goombuale.
But I don't think Damian Pierce is too long for this.
I think he makes a ton of sense for them
to back up Joe Mixon and be a future back.
(25:05):
So Trevion to Houston.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
All right? Well you and I both have quinch On
Judkins to the Kansas City Chiefs, which I think, speaking
of being done, I think the Chiefs are done with
bringing in older running backs like Kareem Hunt and trying
to hope that every year somehow Isaya Pacheco stays healthy,
because that seems to be a real issue. So Judkins
to me is a good fit. Why is he a
good fit for you? There?
Speaker 3 (25:28):
Yeah, No, I think I think you laid it out perfect.
I think that you know, they're continuing to build up
this offense. I've actually seen multiple mocks where Jenkins has
gone into this spot. It's a little bit lead of
an investment and they like to They've kind of shown
they like playing more rotations. Now they did bring back
Hunt and you've got Pacheco, but like this is that
good third future play they like to play out these guys.
(25:49):
I think this one makes a ton of sense.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
All right, Judkins for you, Scott Bop and where should
he be?
Speaker 2 (25:55):
Baltimore? Because one of these running backs is going to fall.
The Ravens just it and take the best player on
the board every year. This is why they're always good.
And this is going to be one of those cases
where we don't need Judkins. We have Dereck Henry, but
he's still on the board. He's the best player. We
take him and it works out. I mean, this is
just it couldn't be more of a Baltimore Ravens pick.
Speaker 1 (26:17):
Yeah, and maybe one more good year out of Henry.
Then you move on with that Cam' scatabo last guy
to talk about. I look for round three New Orleans
for Scataboo. I think that makes sense. Bogman, What makes
sense for you for Big Cam Dallas?
Speaker 2 (26:31):
Put him in Dallas. They don't have a running back.
They signed Miles Sanders and Javonte Williams. They're both washed.
I mean, give Cam Scataboo in the third round to
the Cowboys. I think he'd immediately become the starter and
I would absolutely love it.
Speaker 1 (26:48):
I'm a fan of that. I like that. I think
you give him a little bit of edge too, which
is I think that team's a little soft, to be
honest with you, Welsh Cam, where did it go?
Speaker 3 (26:58):
We're gonna go to the Pittsburgh Steelers. It's all gonna
come up, Bogman. Bogman has just been screaming all season.
He's getting yelled at everywhere he goes about how high
he is on Cam Scataboo. Not just to work it
for Bogman, but also you got rid of Naji Harris.
You could probably use a bruising back. What is scam
Cam Skataboo I just ins or Scam Catabory, whichever version.
(27:20):
But what is he? He's a bruising back who they
can put through the tackles. Jalen Warren, you don't want
to give the full load to I think this is
a match made in heaven for everything. For Bogman, I
do wonder though, I know we want to keep going.
But like with that lower year rank, if he went
to Pittsburgh knowing he's not the everyday guy Boggs or
would you keep him as high as you have him?
Speaker 2 (27:38):
No, I'd keep him as high as I have him
because that's who is going to be the quarterback. They're
going to run the ball eight million times Troy Fatan,
who their first round tackle is back this year after
missing all of last year. Like, they're going to run
the ball a ton. The offensive line has been rebuilt
and they're going to depend on the defense. So I
would love him in Pittsburgh.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
Getting trolled by our own producer CALLI in the chat.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
Unbelieved But by the way, who were still waiting for
me to go live when Aaron Rodgers signs with the
Pittsburgh Steelers, Right.
Speaker 1 (28:06):
Yeah, hasn't happened yet. Hasn't happened yet? That was God
feels like years ago at this point, Sketu, it would
be really interesting in Pittsburgh that crowd would love him.
First of all, He's like if a Pamanning Brother Sandwich
were a person. I feel like he is the perfect
fit there. I just don't think it's gonna happen, but
I'm here for it if it does. The wide receiver
class also pretty good here Tech McMillan. For me, I
(28:28):
think the Inanapolis Colts will go out there and get
other wide receiver. I think trying to give the quarterback,
whoever it might be, throughout the year, maybe ridgards and
maybe not the best possible opportunity to be successful. Bogman
for you, where's Tech McMillan.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
Land Dallas Cowboys gotta have somebody opposite of Ceedee Lamb
to you just give them something else, And I think
in this scenario, I'd be giving them Scataboo and Tep. McMillan, Well,
let's just remake this whole offense here with Ceedee Lamb
and give him somebody to play off of, because it's
CD first, second, and third right now, and then Ferguson
(29:04):
and then one of the dumb running backs. So it's
just a broken offense right now, there are weapons in
this class to fix it.
Speaker 1 (29:11):
Welsh Teed McMillan landing spot.
Speaker 3 (29:13):
I'm gonna throw them over to Jacksonville. I haven't seen
this one be a popular one. But how about get
more Obviously Brian Thomas is a monster, but you get
rid of Kirk, you want more offensive weapons if you're
gonna try round three of building in Trevor Lawrence to
be like the guy and the thing. Maybe this is
like a you know, a Herbert thing. Remember Herbert was
up and kind of came back down and then all
of a sudden we have life again. Maybe this is
(29:33):
a incredible wide receiver core of Tet and Brian Thomas
and it just takes the league by storm. I love
the investment in this. Obviously they've got probably a bunch
of needs, but I think this is a situation where
you could play best available do all.
Speaker 1 (29:49):
Matthew Golden is actually the other wide receiver I think
is going to land in Dallas opposite Ceede Lamb. So
that's my landing spot. Keep the boy from Texas in Texas, Welsh,
how about Matthew Golden for you? He is my favorite
wide receiver in this class. Person.
Speaker 3 (30:03):
Okay, I'm gonna go with the Chargers. Obviously there's been
a little bit of turnover there. Josh Palmer's there, Quinton Johnson,
you can't you can't completely count on Obviously Lad has
been great. But another situation of let's build in that
wide receiver corps. They need depth. And this isn't even
a death situation. This is just how about have Golden
and Maconkey all day long? So I love this for Herbert.
Speaker 4 (30:24):
Bogs Let's go with the Rams.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
Let's give them a true slot option now that they
traded Cooper Cup or now that they got rid of
Cooper Cup. I think you know you have DeVante, you
have Pooka on the outside. Their current slot is two
two at well, Nah, Let's give them Matthew Golden to
make just this offense. Another shot with Matthew Stafford before
he goes, I think would be I just think this
(30:49):
would complete their offense and it would be the missing
piece that they need.
Speaker 4 (30:52):
They need some speed.
Speaker 1 (30:53):
Yeah, I love it. Any of those landing spots good
for his fantasy value. And me, gag Buka Bogman, where
does he land?
Speaker 4 (30:59):
I got I'm in Tennessee.
Speaker 2 (31:00):
Let's pair him with cam Ward just you know, one
of the most underrated prospects in this class because he
doesn't have he doesn't have anything that is absolutely amazing.
Speed is great, though he runs crisp routes. His hands
are solid. Like I just, I think he's a very
very good option. Let's make him a quick, very good option.
(31:22):
He would be this year's Brian Thomas right like not
everybody was in on Brian Thomas last year. He was
amazing with Jacksonville. I think if he goes to Tennessee's
pair with cam Ward, that's exactly what he would be.
Speaker 1 (31:34):
Wels At Buka for you.
Speaker 3 (31:37):
I'm going to send him to Dallas. If Bogs was
talking about the need in Dallas good straight line speed, guy,
you know you don't need to have a heavy, heavy
investment with Ceedee Lamb. So I like Ibuka in Dallas.
Speaker 1 (31:49):
So we all have a different running back and all
have a different wide receiver going to Dallas. I can't
wait to see how that unfolds. On Thursday and Friday,
Luther Burden drafts a little bit. Excuse me, my pick
for a book almost forgot. I think he lands with
the Patriots round two. I think they get their wide
receiver there early on. I think that's how it runs
for them. Luther Burden, I'm picking to go to New Orleans. Welsh,
(32:12):
you agree.
Speaker 3 (32:12):
With me, Yeah, I think this is a good spot.
They're gonna need weapons. I kind of played around with
maybe some different options of what they could do, but offensively,
they're going to be looking at quarterback. I think the
quarterback wide receiver pairing is going to be important. I
just didn't ship Jackson dart or Tet there, so we're
going a little bit further down. But I think this
is a good spot for Burden with a little bit
(32:34):
more value. They're getting a little bit value at quarterback
end wide receiver, so they can have a higher investment
Bee defensively early on. So Burden to New Orleans.
Speaker 1 (32:42):
I'm with you now speaking of value, Bogs, you have
him going to Jacksonville, where Welsh at the early pick
of Ted McMillan. You have the later pick maybe round
two here with Burden. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (32:52):
I think that there's a good chance that Burden falls.
There's a little bit of work ethic issues with him,
but if you just throw on the twenty twenty three
tape man, this guy is incredible five star recruit, highest
recruit ever to go to Missouri. Just an incredible athlete
would help on kick and punk returns immediately, and you
(33:13):
can use him outside. You can use him inside and
outside of Brian Thomas. Now it's Parker Washington, who I like,
but he was a six round pick. They signed Diami Brown.
I don't know how much I love Diami Brown. So
I think there's just multiple pass sims starting in Jacksonville.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
Last, but not least necessarily, Jaden Higgins, who I really like.
I think Seattle would benefit a great deal. Cooper Cup
is dust. They need somebody else there besides JSN. I
think Higgins would be a really nice value pick for them. Boggs,
where's Jaden Higgins land in your opinion?
Speaker 2 (33:40):
Let's put him in LA with the Chargers. I mean,
you have lad Munconkie in the slot. Let's give them
a nice big wide receiver and outside presence. It's what
they tried to do by signing back Mike Williams. We
know Mike Williams just never plays games. So I think
that Jaden Higgins on the outside would help justin Herbert
a lot. And he's a guy you just put it
(34:01):
up to him. He can go get it and Herbert
will put it on you.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
Yeah, Welsh, where could we be putting Jayden Higgins in
your mind?
Speaker 3 (34:09):
New Orleans, New England? New England would be the spot.
Drake May needs more weapons, a good possession receiver, throwing
out lots of different guys. You've got to build around him,
and I think this would be one of those plays
in a solid possession receiver.
Speaker 1 (34:21):
I would love him in New England. I'll absolutely take him.
I think it's a huge value there too. Give me
a googa, Gimi Higgins, give me somebody please. We need
somebody to play wide receiver for the New England Patriots. Last,
we have the tight ends. Tyler Warren. A lot of
rumors about him to the Jets, so I'm gonna stick
with that Jets rumor. Bogman, you agree with me?
Speaker 2 (34:37):
Yes, yeah, I mean the Jets need a lot. I
just think getting a playmaker is enormous for them. I
think Tyler Warren is going to be the best available
when they come up, So I would go with Tyler
Warren all right.
Speaker 1 (34:49):
Tyler Warren, Welsh, where does he lands?
Speaker 3 (34:51):
It's just such a high investment on a tight end
and not to say it's not deserved. I wonder if
there's going to be just too many pieces there that
would help the team as a hole for them to
make that investment. But I'm gonna go with the Colts.
I think Anthony Richardson needs all the pieces he can
around him. Obviously, this is a good receiving and blocking
tight end, so there's some protection in there. There's some
(35:12):
extra just overall coverage of short yard passes so he
doesn't have to throw it seventy yards deep. Just having
another one of those guys an all around great tight
end for a quarterback is kind of a key. A
lot of the great quarterbacks out there have got great
tight ends built around them. Brock Perty has made great
by George Kittle, Obviously, Patrick Mahomes and Kelsey build around it.
Get your franchise tight end. I'm gonna have him go
(35:33):
to the Colts.
Speaker 1 (35:34):
Get your franchise tight end here. Now, you said Tyler
Warren to the Jets was a little early for you,
but you've given them Colston Loveland instead Welsh.
Speaker 3 (35:43):
Yeah, I'm gonna go love them. That's where they're going
to find. They're gonna get that tight end that they need.
Everyone shipping a tight end there, they'll just go with
the second tight end.
Speaker 1 (35:51):
All right, bogmin for you, Colston Loveland, where's he land?
Speaker 4 (35:54):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (35:54):
I like your pick here, Joe, And it's hard not
to see him there obviously, but I picked You can.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
Say what it is.
Speaker 2 (36:02):
It's the charge Chargers back with Harball. I think it
makes a lot of sense. But I have Houston. Houston
needs another weapon. Tank Dell is not going to play
this season. You have Nico Collins and you really don't
have much outside of that. It's mechi uh, there's not
a ton So I think just give CJ. Stroud a weapon.
If Lovelan starts to tumble past that Chargers pick, I
(36:24):
think Houston is a very good spot for him.
Speaker 1 (36:26):
All right, let's talk about the winners and losers of
the draft. A little prediction time here of who's going
to be the big winners when we come away from
the draft. Look, with three picks in the first two rounds,
I think the Bears are in a position here with
a new head coach where they could really come out
here if they do things right. Maybe a little bit
more offensive line help, maybe a running back, maybe just
a VPA. The Bears are not far away in a division.
(36:49):
I think that's a little bit more open than people
might realize. So I think Chicago is in the position
at least to be a big winner. Welsh Who could
be a big winner when we look back next week
on the draft.
Speaker 3 (37:00):
Well, I'm going to say, based on what I'm kind
of predicting or I'm projecting and having kind of fun
with that, not only would they take Travis Hunter, but
they trade back up and get a Shador. I think
it would be the Cleveland Browns. Now, you could look
and say, if they were to trade that type of investment,
their draft is probably only going to be that if
they were, you know, because to do it, you're gonna
have to trade tons of future You're gonna have to
trade the third, second, and third this year. So what
(37:22):
else would you have? But at the end of the day,
Travis Hunter and a Shador would be a big win.
I'm gonna say the Cleveland Browns are gonna finally get
a big win that they've been needing for a long
long time.
Speaker 1 (37:33):
Bog Who's the big winner of the draft in your mind?
Speaker 2 (37:36):
I mean, just the Carolina Panthers roster is so horrific,
Like just by adding eight new guys, I think.
Speaker 4 (37:42):
You improved so much too.
Speaker 1 (37:44):
Players.
Speaker 2 (37:44):
I think it just needs to be ninety five percent,
maybe one hundred percent on the defensive side as well.
Historically bad defense, most rushing yards allowed in NFL history,
no pass rush, can't stop the run. Obviously, they need
so much help. If they just spend all the picks
on defense, they get way way better.
Speaker 1 (38:02):
All right, let's talk about the losers. For me, the
loser is gonna be the Miami Dolphins because they're completely
dysfunctional and I know all they have to do is
take offensive lineman in this shrapt But I don't even
think it's gonna matter. I think somehow they're gonna find
a way to screw that up to I just think
they are in a bad way and going down quickly,
and I think that coach will be gone to by
mid season. Bogman, who could potentially be the biggest loser?
(38:23):
You got three candidates, I feel, I.
Speaker 2 (38:25):
Mean, are we going It's so hard to say who
the biggest loser is. You don't know who any of
these teams are going to pick. I'll just go by
track record. Cleveland, the Jets, and the Steelers, Like I mean,
I know the Steelers usually find some gems, but if
someone put out.
Speaker 4 (38:42):
I can't remember who it was, I apologize.
Speaker 2 (38:43):
But there was some site that had a sweet out
that said, you know the teams with the least amount
of all pros over the last twenty years, and the
Steelers were second to last, right but right next to
Washington with Dan Snyder and that whole mess.
Speaker 3 (39:00):
Who's the most who's the most mentally ill wide receiver
in this class? Because that'll be the guy that goes
to the Steelers, So give me the give me that guy.
Speaker 4 (39:08):
I have no idea who that is anymore, but it was.
Speaker 2 (39:13):
I just with the track record of the Browns and
the Jets and the way the Steelers have been picking recently,
these teams all don't have a good track record, so
I'll say any of.
Speaker 1 (39:24):
Them, all right, Welsh, you want to take a shot
of the Jets?
Speaker 3 (39:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (39:27):
Jets?
Speaker 1 (39:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (39:28):
I think that the Jets are going to find a
way to screw it out. They seem kind of screwy here,
and they might be in a position like you guys
just said, there might be this great player and they're
they're going to trade out they're going to go in
a direction. Just won't be surprised when the jet everyone
looks and they go, oh my god, this is what
the Jets are going to do. And then it's like
Dante Whittner. You know, it'll be like one of those
situations that we're like, what that's that's.
Speaker 1 (39:49):
What you' with? Yeah, it's just you know, not so great.
Why take Warren Sap when you can take Kyle Brady.
Speaker 4 (39:54):
Jerry Jones is still lurking around there too.
Speaker 1 (39:57):
We have to Yeah, then that's true. We ever got
out the cowboy boy? Well, what a perfect transition about

In this segment, we're going to spotlight the challenges that
face gms in the NFL since nineteen eighty nineteen eighty,
forty five years ago, only five number one NFL overall
(40:38):
picks have made it to the Hall of Fame. It
was Peyton Manning in twenty twenty one, Orlando Pace in
ninety seven, Troy Aikman in eighty nine, Bruce Smith in
nineteen eighty five for the Bills, and John Elway, who
was drafted by the Colts never played a game for
them in nineteen eighty three. That's it. That's an eleven
percent hit rate. Why do gms in the NFL, with
with an entire board so frequently imagine and getting the
(41:00):
number one overall pick and having all these picks to
choose from, all of this talent, all these players, and
then organizations constantly just whiffing after year after year, over
and over again. It's kind of stunning, But maybe it shouldn't,
because that's why those organizations are picking so high in
the draft in the first place. If they were good
organizations that made good decisions, they wouldn't have the number
(41:22):
one overall pick. But you would think even just a
blind squirrel would find a nut or a Hall of
Famer a little bit more frequently than eleven percent of
the time, but we'll see what happens this Thursday. Will
cam Ward be a Hall of Famer? Tough to say.
My guess is no, but we'll just add them to
the list. And that's this week's Chasing Challenger segment. Remember
