Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome in everybody to Fantasy Pros. This is the Fantasy
Football Podcast. It is me Joey p Joe Pisapia, and
it's time once again for another mock draft. This time
it's PPR style one QB, two running backs, three wide
receivers of flex and we're gonna have a defense today
because Bogman's here. And not just Bogman, oh no, it's
also the Welsh and Debro Derek Brown, the King of Bros. Here.

(00:23):
We're gonna bring you this full point PPR mock draft.
That's right, everybody, We're having good times here. We're gonna
have more fun today than the Oklahoma City Thunder did
celebrating an NBA championship. I can guarantee you more fun
will be had on this show. Did you see that
they didn't know how to open up the champagne. They
didn't know what the hell they were doing. We know
how to open up a bottle of champagne. It's not

(00:44):
our first beer in this room. I can tell you
that much.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
They're not used to winning things in Oklahoma show. I mean,
I think you know that.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
It also it also was literally I believe Jalen Williams
first be right. He was interviewed. He said he never drank.
The team wanted to win the championship because he agreed
to drink a beer and that's why they won. What great,
what great confidence they had in it. And I was
literally his first beer.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
I can tell you. I mean, maybe we should do
a whole like maybe for the fest this year we'll
have a couple of cocktails and do a lot.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
I've never had one before. This will be my first, so.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Yes, yeah, I'll take you.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
It's okay, say stick to your strings.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Boys.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
We're seeing punk over here. We're saying punk.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Straight at Well. Look, we are going to be using
the draft simulator obviously here, brought to you by the
mock draft lobby over fancypros dot com slash draft Wizard.
That's the place to be. The multi user draft software
there allows you to practice quick, fun mock drafts just
like this one. We're gonna do against CPU opponents the bots.
But the bots are really good. And also they've got

(01:51):
the draft intel tool too, which is if you're a
premium user, you can figure out how to upload very
easily your history of your drafts me in your real
leagues and then it will create bots for your mock
drafts based upon the tendencies of your opponents in your
home league, which is pretty spectacular. That's the kind of
stuff we're dealing with here, Fantasy pros. That's why you

(02:12):
should download the Draft Wizard. That's why you should sink
your leagues for free, and that's why you should do
all of your mock drafting here with us. And today
I'm gonna be in the one spot because again, it's
just easier for me to be at one or twelve
because I gotta do ad reads and all kinds of stuff.
I'll get into the five or six spot eventually, I'll
figure that out. But the boys have found their draft
spots as well. Today we have got Welsh at the five,

(02:35):
We've got Debro at ten, and Scott Bogman in between
at one oh eight. So there you go. So full PPR.
This was gonna be pretty easy for me. I'm gonna
start with my boy, Jamar Chase. I'm very excited to
have Jamar here, and of course excited to have T
Higgins back too, because the more help Joe Burrow has
a better chance he has to break that five thousand
yard mark, which is where he was very close to

(02:56):
a last season, so b Jean Robinson goes to ceedee
Lamb go those three saquon at one O four though, Welsh,
it's up to you and Justin Jefferson still on that board.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
Yikes, what I didn't expect that. I gotta be honest
with you. I picked this spot because I was like, well,
I'm gonna take Jamiir Gibbs, this would be super cute,
or maybe you know, Barkley falls because everybody here hates Barkley.
One of those would work out for me. I didn't
think Justin Jefferson would be available for me, so I'm
gonna have to pivot off of that. As he is
the overall number three wide receiver. Two is listed right

(03:29):
here on the Fantasy Pros Draft simulator board, which is
nice and handy. I'm gonna pivot off of it. I
thought this was gonna be Jamior Gibbs, guys, but you
know what, I'm gonna jump right out. I was about
to say there's something about a gift horse show, and
I was gonna dodge it to death, don't you. We're
gonna just take just the idea.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
The Welshisms have been abound on The Baseball Show. If
you haven't seen that, go watch Fantasy Bros. MLB. Yike,
one horse Mouth is worth two in the no, don't
say it, but anyway, So yeah, incredible there. Justin Jefferson.
I don't know about you, guys, but I feel fine
about JJ McCarthy and Justin Jefferson. I'm bullish even I'm
looking at him. I think he's plus seven hundred bogs

(04:08):
for him to lead the league in receiving this year.
My god's a pretty good wager. Like, I'll take that
one with JJ.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
They made Sam Donald look good. He's never looked good anyway,
look good in Minnesota. So yeah, I think you'll be fine.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
I agree, And we just for the record, we don't
hate Barkley. We just are afraid of the four hundred carries,
as the data has told us to be afraid of
the four hundred carries. Data doesn't like.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
Silly Joe you are. You are so silly that you
say you don't hate It is hate central. You guys
are the hater's ball.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
The two of you that are probably I don't hate him.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Numbers decide my season, is what I'm saying. I'm taking.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
Well, you got a lot of hate for hating on
CMC last year it turned out well.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Yeah, I was gonna say, boy, the boo birds were
out and uh boy started a Week one. Looked pretty
good there. I don't think it's gonna be that kind
of a problem. But look, the data tells you four
hundred carries the next year. Most guys don't finish as
an RB one, so it's tough to draft him with
a top three to four pick. Pukaakua goes at seven,
after Jamior Gibbs at six. Then Malik Neighbors to you,

(05:13):
Scott Bogman. So look another situation too, where you're doing
with Russell Wilson now a quarterback, but Malik Neighbors obviously
the talent was on full display in that rookie year.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Yeah, and you're just gonna have improved quarterback play no
matter who is back there for the Giants this season.
So just a target monster by far the best offensive
weapon on that team. He's just going to be peppered
again with better quarterback play. So we could get a
nice little boost here.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
There you go. So Malik goes at eight. Team nine
selects Nico Collins, then de Bro Derek Brown. You went
wide receiver as well. We're gonna get to your two picks.
I'm on Rossain Brown was the first one. Then Team
eleven on the turn took Brian Thomas and Ashton genty
and then it came back around to you and you
had double dipter toes in the wide receiver pool and
he came away with Drake London. So finally, after all
this Drake London love all these years, could this be

(06:01):
the year where it completely goes off? I'mn ross certainly
a great value at one ten. Let's talk about both
those guys. De bro.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
I mean, aman Ra is just locked in, like regardless
of however we want to talk about him. He's a
locked in wide receiver one. So the safety plus the upside.
And then honestly, the top of my cue was Brian
Thomas Junior CMC in the National genty and he got
obliterated at the turn. So getting Drake London again, I
think he has dark horse wide receiver one overall upside
of Michael Pennicks can be who we think he can be.

(06:30):
So getting both these guys in a league where we're playing,
we're starting three wide receivers on top of this, I
feel really good about the running backs that are available
rounds three through five, So we'll see how plays out here.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
After Drake London, Jackson Smith and Jigbug goes at two
A four to a five Devon e Cham to Bogman.
So bos let's talk about eight Cham obviously last year
some fantastic numbers in a PPR league two especially, you
love him with all the receptions, He's getting a lot
of questions though about is this the year where the
Dolphins just completely fall apart and you know, coach McDaniel
ends up a kind of out of the job in Miami,

(07:07):
And if so, that could be a tough year for
everybody in this offense. But h two of five still
feels like too good to pass up.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Yeah, I mean, seventy catches last year in the PPR League.
I mean, even if they do, you know, Tua gets
hurt or whatever, I like Zach Wilson as a backup there.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
Now.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
I also obviously am a fan of quinn Ewers as
a third string, so I think that the QB play
will be fine there even if Tua does get hurt.
And I don't think the offense is going to change
a lot. Echan is a guy that can carry the workload.
He did it in Texas, A and M. He doesn't
have to to be productive in fantasy. But all those touches,

(07:43):
plus you know, even bad quarterback play here is going
to be okay. I think a Chan is a safe pick.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
All right, safe pick here for Scott Bogman. Let's go
with the next couple of picks off the board, brock Bauers,
then Lad McConkie Welsh, you took my dude, Derek Henry
yard yards. I don't care if it's PPR touchdowns or touchdowns.
I would not let Derek Henry slide anymore if I
was you either.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
H Yeah, well I also got sniped, so there was
definitely a part of me that was I've got Dereck
Henry high. I completely agree with you. He has a
very big incentive. If you guys don't know, two thousand
yards gets him a role in an Adam Sandler movie.
And if that isn't incentive enough to draft the guy,
I don't know what is. But I wanted Lad macconkiy
or brock Bowers more than anything. Bogman passed both for

(08:27):
Davon ah Chan, and I wanted both of those guys,
so I was really disappointed, specifically Lad, I wanted to pair,
but Derek Henry's a touchdown monster, so I'm that was like,
literally the only other guy I was hoping one of
Bowers or Lad was gonna fall to me. I'm very high.
I got Lad at ten in my ranks this year,
so at wide receiver, so I would have loved to
have had him to pair with Justin Jefferson. But yeah, touchdowns,

(08:50):
equity yards, Dereck Henry's the guy all right.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
After Dereck Henry, Tree McBride goes a two a nine,
the t he gets a two ten Garrett Wilson at
two eleven, and then I I'm gonna roll the dice here.
I don't love it, but it's hard to pass on
a guy that was going possibly number one overall last year,
and it makes it back to me at two twelve.
So we'll see what happens with Tyreek Hill. We'll give
it one more go and hope for the best here.
But again just more just price enforcing than anything. I

(09:15):
don't think Tyreek is gonna be what he was a
couple of years ago, but I don't know if he's
a second round or third round pick basically, which is
where I got him here. So possibly the one oh
one and the one o two on the same team
at a PPR. Yeah, I'll take that gamble there. You're
not first, your last, so I'll take Tyreek Hill there
to twelve, and then Terry McLaurin at three oh one.
So I've got three wide receiver ones now to start

(09:37):
my team. I'll find some qbs. I hated passing on
the mar but in the half PPR I wouldn't have
I would have gone Lamar Jackson there, Chase Brown goes
at three zho two than Josh Jacobs, Rushie Rice, Bucky
Irving goes to the Welsh, So Welsh getting your running
back room here together. That looks pretty good here. Derek
Henry Bucky Irving is the two coming off a great year.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
I'm ecstatic about Bucky Irving. I did not think Bucky
was gonna fall back based on just how high he
was on the board. We know, you know, I mean,
volume is obviously going to be king at the end
of the day. But you know, twenty five carry performance
in week thirteen got him RB number one overall. He
finished inside the top twenty last season, and I believe
this is as I'm looking at it. Yeah, this is

(10:15):
full PPR. He finished inside the top twenty in all
of his final five appearances, and I believe it's seven
of his last eight. We're also top twenty with a
handful of top tens. As a matter of fact, there
were four of them. And he's just a monster, He's
a gamer. They need to focus the offense around him.
I freaking love getting him in the third round here

(10:35):
is my second RB with Dereck Henry. But I do
have to be mindful of wide receivers, and you know,
you went heavy wide out, so you're going to focus
on running backs. I still think there's some really great
core wide receivers out there, and it kind of this
allows me to this to be done with getting Justin Jefferson.
Jefferson allows me a little bit more leeway to, you know,
go rounds two and three with those rbs. So I'm

(10:56):
lik in the construction so far, but the next couple
of rounds are going to determine it.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
All back to back QB values here three zero six
and three oh seven Lamark Jackson and then Josh Allen,
Scott Bogman. You went tight end here, George Kittle goes
to you. Certainly a season last year where George Kittle
over one thousand yards, eleven hundred actually eight touchdowns for him,
seventy eight receptions, and you know, again the cornerstone guy
you can really rely on in an offense that has

(11:20):
a lot of question marks going into twenty twenty.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
Five, Yeah, I passed up brock Bauers, like Welsh mentioned,
and I was thinking, Okay, maybe I get Trey McBride
to fall back to me in the next round, if not,
maybe Kittle around after. So I went with Kittle here.
I just really like getting a premium QB or tight end.
The top two qbs went right before I picked as
well there, so yeah, to me, it was just kind

(11:43):
of easy, let's get a premiere tight end. I want
one of my top three guys, and then I don't
have to worry about that position at all all Right.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
So after George Kittle, DeVante Adams goes right before Debro,
who has to settle for Mike Evans. So answer this
for me, Debro, because Evans was Evans and Adams were
guys I was contemplating all the way. So either way,
it's a win for you that they lasted as long
as they did in this full PPR. But would you
have taken Adams over Evans if he was still there?

Speaker 4 (12:08):
It's a toss up. I do have Adams ranked right
ahead of Mike Evans. I have them at wide receiver
ten and eleven right now. I was smarting, actually, and
anybody watching this on YouTube could have seen my reaction
when Bogman took freaking George Kittle.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
And snipe me.

Speaker 4 (12:21):
That was the top of Mike cue. So I was
immensely ticked off with that. But dude, I mean, this
is just taken what the board gives you. I mean,
I wasn't anticipating drafting a really wide receiver heavy early team,
but just playing the board here, does everybody think that
Mike Evans is retiring?

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Like?

Speaker 4 (12:38):
Why is he available this late? For a player that
has been a wide receiver ten in Fantasy points per
game in three of the last four years. His separation
metrics have not fallen off. And everybody that talks about,
oh the injuries, dude played fourteen games last year. What
do you like, what are we talking about? Why is
he going so late?

Speaker 1 (12:56):
Well?

Speaker 3 (12:56):
Look at the I mean also they put a focus on,
they brought Chris Win back, they drafted another wide receiver,
they got McMillan. I think there's just a lot of
mouths in there as he's getting older that you wonder
it's the falling knife syndrome, which sometimes the whole Derrek
Henry argument with it becomes so stupid because he keeps
you know, he keeps producing. But I think you look
and you say, all of those weapons, and you wonder

(13:18):
that they move a little bit away from the pass heaviness,
and does Mike Evans, you know, he just barely got
that thousand yard marker, you know, does he take a
slight step back where he can be a top ten
wide receiver. I think that's where the question is whether
it's right or wrong. That's open for debate, of course,
But I think the question is is, like, look at
all these great weapons they're building around as Mike Evans
gets older.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
Wide receiver's very deep too, right like, And I think
that's part of the reason why Mike Evans falls. And
that's why you wanted Kittle, right, is because look, there's
this upper tier of tight ends. If you don't get one,
then it's kind of the rest of them, you know,
and that's that's what makes those guys worth a little
bit more.

Speaker 4 (13:53):
Yeah, and I want to kiddle because I'm a very
intentional like this year, I'm gonna be very heavy Tray McBride,
very heavy Care and some later guys that we'll talk about.
But so really I wanted the positional advantage of getting
Kittle at that onesie position. But Evans, man, like, I
don't think we're going to see a fall off with him.
I think he's still going to be Baker's red zone guy.
There's still going to be a pass happy offense. And

(14:15):
at the end of the day, we can talk about
all the skill sets of all the guys in that
wide receiver room, there's nobody that has Mike Evans skill
set and can be the red zone threat that he's been.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
No, that's fair. It's gonna give you that touchdown bonus.
That's what you're looking for when you go to Evans
and that Look, that's a big deal. You get those touchdowns, man,
those six points. That's a big impact on a weekly
fantasy league. Before we get to the fourth round and
fifth round finishes here, let's talk about the summertime because
it's hot as hell in New Jersey as ninety nine degrees,
and as soon as this is over, I'm going to
sit by the pool and maybe watch some baseball. Maybe

(14:47):
the Welsh and I will be texting as we do that.
The simplest way to enjoy more baseball action is to
download the Pick six app from DraftKings. It's very simple,
in fact, it's crazy simple. You just pick more or less. Hell,
even Debro can do that on the stats for two

Speaker 1 (15:57):
All right, let's take a look at this mock draft
here the board, because after Mike Evans wet, Jayden Daniels went,
I wonder if Debro thought that was gonna happen. Breece
Hall goes at four h two, and then Debro, you
start your running back room with Ken Walker the third.
So how do you feel about him being your number
one RB?

Speaker 4 (16:13):
Considering in a three wide receiver league. I'm starting, I'm
on us Saint Brown, Drake Lennon, and Mike Evans. I
feel wonderful about it to get an RB one from
last year at this spot of the draft, because, in
case everybody missed it, Kenneth Walker RB twelve and Fantasy
points per game. Feel wonderful about it.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
Feeling wonderful is Derek Brown? All right? After that selection
here of Ken Walker, James Cook goes and Bogman, you
took Alvin Kamara as your RB two, So look at
a PPR right now. My only concern is you got
two great running backs here in terms of catching the football,
which your only wide receivers, and mylakue neighbors any panic
setting in for you because a lot of wide receivers
continue to go in this fourth round.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
No, I think wide receiver is very deep. It is
an arms race. You do have to keep up with everybody,
but the added receptions I'm getting from a Hana Kamara
are going to keep me in the game. So I
am happy with the way I've constructed this team so far.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
After Kamara, DJ Moore goes at four h six, then
Marvin Harrison at four oh seven. The Welsh selects Courtland
Sutton at four oh eight. Welsh, I know you're on
the board, but real quick, give me your take on
Sutton here as your number two. Certainly the number one
though in Denver regardless.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
Yeah, I mean that's kind of the big thing that
I'm banking on. We had, you know, some really good
mid season returns. It was kind of a target fest.
I mean, my god, from week eight on one, two, three, four, five,
six games of nine or more targets. Lowest target output
with six targets from that week eight on as Bonix

(17:38):
was just you know, kind of refining himself. They have
they there was a rotational wide receivers, which I don't like,
but Sutton is the guy. So I'm kind of banking
on that next big step that Bonix is gonna take,
and it is. They really it didn't bring like a
boatload of guys that it's gonna take away. It's not
like the Bucks where there's like four or five receivers.
It's not at all. It is Courtland Sutton and everybody else.

(17:59):
Maybe a little bit of tight end action, but I'm
going with Courtland Sutton, and I'll just tell you right now,
the guy almost took over him. I'm about to pair
with him. Is a DK Metcalf's then with the DK
Metcalf with your Pittsburgh Steelers as a number one there
Aaron Rodgers should is gross and it's the final ride everybody.
It should be all to DK Metcalf. So I'm pretty

(18:20):
actually happy about him falling to pair with Justin Jefferson.
So I got Sutton and Metcalf to pair with Jefferson
and two stud stood running backs.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
I can't wait for the twelve part Hulu documentary series
about the last season of Aaron Rodgers. It's going to
be lit. I can't wait for it. So after Sutton
at four oh eight and then four h nine, Jalen
hurts Joe Burrow at four ten, so it's hoping maybe
I get one of those qbs. I did not. That's okay,
life goes on. I know who I'm in this draft
room with those, so we're gonna be fighting over a
couple qbs later Xavier Worthy of four eleven. Then I

(18:49):
decided to take my running backs Joe Mixon at four
to twelve and Chewba Hubbard. One of the guys we
continue to talk about on the show is being grossly undervalued, underappreciated.
Panthers are better than you realize, especially down the stretch.
Last year, eleven hundred and ninety five yards, ten touchdowns
for Chuba Hubbard, forty three receptions too. I think people
forget how many receptions he had last year. So I
expect Jube to be ready for week one and ready

(19:09):
to roll. And I like that running back room with
my three wide receiver ones. I like this team. Uh,
Chris o'lave goes next, Ze Flowers, then James and Williams
DK Metcalf to the Welsh as he already said Travis
Hunter at five oh six, then at five seven James Connor,
which brings up Bogman at five o eight, who went
wide receiver with a guy.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
In Philly, DeVante Smith. I love this. I was DK
Metcalf and Davonte Smith. I had Zave Flowers on that
list as well. Those were the guys that I wanted,
right So when Welsh took Dk Metcalf, I was like,
I don't know what's going to happen here, but getting
Davante here I think is great. He just has such
a high floor here. Like I said, I'm making up

(19:50):
four receptions with the running backs. I'm rostering. So I
really like the way this team is put together so far.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
All right, after DeVonta Smith and Chris got Goes at
five h nine. Nice value there. De Bro does not
care about who you sign at Denver. He ain't afraid
to know. JK. Dobbins instead, he's going RJ. Harvey instead,
Derek Brown, let's talk about it. I don't think you
and I have. Jake Seally and I discussed it at length,
but you and I haven't talked about the JK. Dobbins
impact here in this Denver backfield. Apparently you are unfazed

(20:20):
by this.

Speaker 4 (20:21):
I don't care if it's JK. Dobbins. If it's all
your estimate for me, that role alongside RJ. Harvey is unchanged.
Do we think there wasn't gonna be another running back
to take because I don't think RJ. Harvey is getting
three hundred carries this year. I put him in the
realm of like two twenty five, maybe in the two
thirty two forty range. I don't think he was ever
going to sniff three hundred carries. So there was always

(20:43):
going to be a running back that was going to
siphon off about one hundred one and twenty five carries.

Speaker 1 (20:47):
Now that's JK.

Speaker 4 (20:48):
Dobbins. It's not like we haven't seen Sean Payton support
multiple running backs. We all think the Denver offense is
going to be good.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
RJ.

Speaker 4 (20:55):
Harvey should be the pass catching running back out of
the backfield. Because I'm Goofen couldn't hold that role last year.
Estimate does not catch passes. And the last last I heard,
we're in a PPR league and this is a Sean pakybackfield.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
Baby. Last I heard last I were doing. Last I heard,
all right, So after Harvey goes Jalen Waddle and Addison
go at the turn at five eleven and six ZH two,
Tony Pollard at six z oh three. So again I get
this one. I actually had him on Mike Cue Tony Poward,
somebody coming off a year with again forty one receptions
less than Cuba Hubbard. Just want to say that out loud,

(21:28):
Just want to say it out loud for all the
haters on the Cuba. But still, Deebros, you're building out
this running back room here with your third guy, Tony
Pollard gives you a little bit of insurance too. I
think you know what you're getting here. And Tennessee certainly
has a quarterback upgrade this year.

Speaker 4 (21:41):
Yeah, I mean he's a rock solid RB two actually,
but considering how bad Tennessee's offense was, woefully underperformed his
volume because they were just terrible last year. The RB
fifteen and expected Fantasy points per game. Now you add
cam Ward, you add offensive line hopefully upgrades this year. Yeah,
Tony Poward, I honestly think he's going and way too
late for the upside and for the volume, and pairing

(22:02):
him with an upside shot with RJ. Harvey after the
wide receiver start that I had, I'm loving the team
all right, He's loving.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
It everybody after Tony Power goes, Travis Kelsey goes, Scott Bogman.
You took one of the guys I want. Ted McMillan
over there, goes or tamac as he prefers to be called.
I've heard he doesn't like the nickname Ted, So let's
get that clear. Carolina Panthers own in the new number
one there, I would assume too, Box.

Speaker 2 (22:24):
Yeah, I was debating between him and Hampton, who went
immediately after. So I just I waited to take some
wide receivers this guy and DeVante Smith does have a
high floor, but he also kind of has a cap
ceiling as well. Ag Brown is still there. Sequan obviously
gonna get a lot of touches, right, But McMillan offers
us all kinds of crazy upside. That's why I like
drafting him. The Panthers defense was historically bad. While it

(22:46):
should be much better this season is still going to
be bad comparatively, so they're gonna have to go point
for point. Bryce Young's gonna have to pass a lot.
McMillan is there to be the number one wide out,
so I think we're gonna have a very high floor,
kind of like name vers last season, where this guy
comes in and just peppered with targets constantly. So very
happy to get McMillan here.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
All right, let's get to Welsh's pick. Is end Between
McMillan and Welsh's pick. You had Omari and Hampton go
at six oh six, Evan Ingram at six oh seven.
A lot of us here in this room think it
could be a big season for him, maybe the number
two target now in that offense for the Denver Broncos,
especially considering bo Nix's proclivity to throw the ball short.
Chris Welsh, you are up next, and you went RB

(23:28):
with a guy who gets a ton of touchdowns in Detroit.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
Yeah, and I wanted Hampton and I wanted ten. Those
were the two that I was hyper focused on. Came out,
did Montgomery fell there's tons of touchdown equity. It's a
little risky because I already have one of those and
like Derrick Henry, but obviously if something happens to Gibbs,
we know what he becomes, and without Gibbs, we know
who he can be. So this is just creating a
little bit more RB depth. If I spent a second

(23:53):
and third round pick, I think I'm getting tremendous value
with a guy like David Montgomery, especially on that touchdown equity,
and I just need to make sure I'm making up
for it in different spots with this full PPR, because
I am collecting some running backs that are not heavy
in the receiving streets.

Speaker 1 (24:07):
Okay, continuing on here after David Montgomery, Aaron Jones, and
George Pickens, Patrick Mahomes, and I took Baker Mayfield at
six twelve because I don't feel like fighting over Justin
Field's next round with those rest of those lunatics that
are It's coming. It's coming. Stay tuned, everybody. That's kind
of a difficult spot here. It's to how much do
I believe in cam Ward with Calvin Ridley potentially Khalil

(24:28):
Shakir being that guy too, is my fourth wide receiver,
coming off a season with Josh Allen Ray had seventy
six receptions. Is there more there for him? Or do
I go with DeAndre Swift to inevitably? I mean, I
know it's a PPR league. This is kind of where
I want to trade out for more picks? Can I
just do that? Maybe that's the way I want to
go here. Instead, I'm going to go tight end. I
am confident in JJ McCarthy, and I'm confident that TJ.

(24:52):
Hockinson is going to have a big year with him
as well. Rookie quarterbacks tend to look for those tight ends.
Justin Jefferson is gonna be a huge part. I just
think JJ McCarthy's gonna hit the ground running. I'm really
just not super concerned. Maybe slow in September a little bit.
Is he kind of shakes off the dust of just
not playing. But in terms of the confidence level and
the actual play when he's on the field, I've got
a ton of it. I got a ton of faith

(25:14):
in the coach. I think it's gonna be a huge
year for the Vikings. Who I think I'm gonna win
that division. Yeah, I said it. They're gonna win that division.
We'll see if I'm right or wrong. I think when
the Lions lose not one but two coordinators and their
passing game coordinator in the same offseason, I think that's
a lot to replace and redo. All right, let's get
to some more of the picks here on the board.
After t J Howkinson, Juwan Jennings goes next, and Trevon Henderson,

(25:37):
Brandon Caleb Johnson to the Welsh here, So wow, good,
not one but two Steelers, Welsh, Are you sure you're
not drafting this team for Bogman.

Speaker 3 (25:45):
I'm just drafting this team for Bogman. But Caleb Johns
what about?

Speaker 2 (25:49):
To Bogman? What about?

Speaker 1 (25:51):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (25:51):
So, one thing I didn't say in the last thing
because I had picks in between me, was I also
did the David Montgomery pick, which is a little floor
maybe lacking some high and upside without an injury to
taking a really high ceiling running back. And that's where
Caleb Johnson is.

Speaker 6 (26:07):
I know.

Speaker 3 (26:08):
I want to say, deebra you were one of the
highest ranked on him. He looks fantastic. They're talking him
up like crazy, bog You're getting tweets about he can
catch the ball out of the backfield. He looks like
he can jump right into the Najie Harris volume, and
I think he can do a lot more with it.
So I created some safety in Montgomery if he ends
up being a flex. And I still think there's a
core of wide receivers that I like. By the way,

(26:31):
Juan Jennings went in front of me, and that was
going to be where I was going to go. That
was the wide receiver number four I wanted. I just
took a running back that I think has like high
RB two, maybe even RB one upside as my fourth.
I've created incredible depth so I can put a focus
on wide receivers here. So I just thought it was
too good to pass up.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
Frankly, I gotta say Travon Henderson, I thought my last
so longer too. I was contemplating him. I was like, man,
maybe he makes it on the way back to me
because you guys went so running back heavy. He has not,
and he's going to be flying up draft or it's
just like this, Brandon Yu get seven to four, as
I said, and Caleb Johnson to the Welsh team six
to Calvin Ridley roma Dunza next Scott Bogman, you too.
Quin Shawn Judkins of the Cleveland Browns certainly the new

(27:11):
man there under this Kevin Stefanski regime to be the
lead running back here. So I'll talk to me about
Judkins and what you think his twenty twenty five is
gonna look like.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
Yeah, you know, I've been talking about a lot of
deep players, and I've been bringing up Dylan Sampson a lot,
but I mean quin Shawn Judkins is the guy here.
He was taken before the reshaping. This entire offense. The
QB play is going to be rough this season. They're
going to hand the ball off so so much, I
feel like this season, and Judkins is already the best

(27:42):
running back on this team. We've seen him work, you know,
with another running back last season at Ohio State. We've
seen him have two hundred and eighty nine touches at
all miss, so he can kind of do everything. Not
great catching the ball, but I already have a Chanon
Kamara for that. So Judkins is an injury replacement of
flex play and maybe he scores a bunch of touchdowns.

(28:02):
I like getting him this late.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
Okay, after that selection of Judkins, brock Perty goes and
then Mark Andrews to Derek Brown Deebro, I love this pick, man,
I love it. He was what tight end five, I
think or four after the week eight, Just incredible amount
of touchdowns he scored once that you know, he had
the accident in the offseason in the summer, and I

(28:25):
don't think anybody really talked about it enough. And he
was terrible in the first couple weeks of the season,
and then he became a touchdown machine at the end.
Unfortunately not in the playoffs against the Bills. We'll give
him a pass on that one. He was moving backwards.
It was a tough catch. But I love this value
of Mark Andrews here. I think this is a steal Personally.
I think he's way too varied in rankings.

Speaker 4 (28:41):
Same I tweeted it out a few days ago. I
think Mark Andrews. If you're not going to pay up
for one of the elite guys, it's Evan Ingram or
it's Mark Andrews. For me, late, those are the guys
that have that top three, top five upside and for everybody.
I mean, all the points you mentioned are absolutely spot on.
Joe also coming off the tightrope procedure, We've seen multiple
players over many years start slow. That was a learning

(29:04):
point for me with Tony Pollard. I'm not going to
shy away from Mark Andrews this year. And yet, to
your point, weeks ten through eighteen, all of his numbers
pop back to the usual production we expect for Mark Andrews.
He was the tight end five. His target share bumped
from eleven point three to eighteen point one percent. I mean,
we're talking about a Baltimore offense. If they run fast,

(29:25):
they throw more like the touchdowns and the yardage comes back.
He's got top three upside. He's going way too late, man.

Speaker 1 (29:32):
Way too late. And I just don't know why. I mean,
anybody who paid attention to the second half of the season,
it's like, just because he was bad for six weeks,
he was as good as he was bad in the
latter part of the season. Khlu Skier goes at the
turn at seven eleven, then the Zaeipa checko at eight
O two, and then as predicted, Derek Brown selected Justin
Fields at eight O three. So deebro gohead the floorahrs.

Speaker 4 (29:52):
I like QB ones. I like getting a QB one
In the eighth round of a draft and Justin Fields
has never been lower than QB nine and fantasy points
per game when he's been a starter.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
Yeah, there's no arguing it. It might not always be pretty,
but it's fantasy points. DeAndre Swift, my god, So Swift
was out there when I was considering him or Henderson
at seven oh one and he lasts all the way
to eight o four. A's stunning there, Debro. Do you
think DeAndre Swift is a guy that even in PPR
leagues people should shy away from. I understand, like the
goal line doesn't always go his way, but Ben Johnson

(30:24):
is there, and you imagine this offense is going to
be improved. So why is Swift falling so much?

Speaker 4 (30:29):
There's a lot of good reasons to draft Swift and
believe it. I think a lot of it is is
the Ben Johnson hope and hype and stuff. I'm personally
avoiding him. If you were to take the Ben Johnson
piece out of it, doesn't he fit pretty much like
the dead zone back kind of framework. Inefficient guy we're
projecting volume. That's why people should like him. Like if

(30:49):
you take the other parts and pieces in the window
dressing away, he looks more like a dead zone back. Like,
if he falls this late in some drafts, maybe I'll
take a stab if I need another running back, but
I'm honestly avoiding in most spots.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
It's also pretty mid with Ben Johnson before Swift. I mean,
we've seen this dance before. It wasn't that good.

Speaker 1 (31:07):
No, it was not. All right, let's continue on with
the draft board here after fields, DeAndre Swift, then Michael
Pittman to you, Scott Bogman. Now, this is an offense
I have a hard time investing in this year. The
uncertainty of quarterback. The Richardson experiment is feeling like a failure.
This is kind of the fork in the road. Daniel
Jones is the other side of that fork, which looks
more like a spork.

Speaker 4 (31:25):
To me, all purpose tools are underrated.

Speaker 1 (31:32):
All purpose is way more useful than Daniel.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
Jens pretty all purpose tool for Daniel Jones is a
pretty solid tool. And I have to admit that.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
I mean, where are the Colts right now in terms
of fantasy investment?

Speaker 2 (31:45):
For you're being really really good if they can just
have someone that can pass the ball. Look at the
weapons on this offense. It's Taylor, It's Pittman, it's downs,
it's pierced. They just added Warren uh onny Woods coming
back off, and like this team is very built out

(32:05):
through the skill position.

Speaker 3 (32:06):
If they're a quarterback away without any good viable quarterback.

Speaker 1 (32:11):
Well we think we draft for twenty twenty six here.

Speaker 3 (32:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (32:14):
Well, there's there's two things. Number One, Pittman is my
fourth wide receiver, so I don't have to start on
a week in, week out basis. So this is just
playing upside here with this selection. So but if if
some butts are candies and nuts, but if Richardson can
throw just to show just a little bit of skill

(32:36):
and get the ball out a little bit quicker into
better spots. Piman only had three touchdowns last year. The
floor is insanely high for him. He's a possession guy.
So you know, if some butts are candies and nuts.
But this is my fourth guy. This is a bench
player that I'm looking for upside with and the skill
is all there. It's just getting him the football. So
they can have somebody do that. And they have three

(32:57):
of the same guy. A dude that runs well and
doesn't pass well, so the offense doesn't change no matter
who's back there. So not a lot is going to
change for Pittman. He's already skilled. He just needs someone
to get him the ball.

Speaker 1 (33:08):

Josh goes right after Pittman. Ironically, then Jalen Warren, well,

(34:03):
she took my guy. I wanted Jacoby Myers. He's a
steal every single year. He's gonna catch eighty five balls,
and now he's got a much improved quarterback situation. I
love this pick at eight to eight.

Speaker 3 (34:12):
Yeah, again the construction of what I'm getting to do.
And this also led into the next pick because I
thought there were some high ceiling players that were floating
around and I was really hoping one would fall and
spoiler alert, one does that we'll talk about. But Jacoby
Myers is like the ultimate floor guy. Like you said,
he's going to catch eighty eighty five balls. There's no
DeVante Adams there. They've got to slang it. Obviously, brock

(34:33):
Bauers is going to get his. But this is a
full PPR. Jacoby Myers. I might be throwing him in
at my flex. I now have in this and this
is what I love, and this is the way I
want to construct. I've not drafted a quarterback and a
tight end, but in a flex, I have the options
weekly between David Montgomery, the upside of Caleb Johnson and
Jacoby Myers. That's what you want to build these. You

(34:53):
want not one person just stuck in there. I want
to have options if something happens. And I thought it
fell to me absolutely perfectly with Jacoby Myers. And like
I said, the next pick built on this strategy similar
to what I did with the running backs in Montgomery's
floor and touchdown equity to high upside Caleb Johnson. This
is what I did with Jacoby Myers into my next
player as well.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
Yeah, well, I hate the Myers pick. I'm very mad
at you, and I hate what Derek Brown just did
even more because that was.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
I'd like to slap the taste out of his proud.

Speaker 4 (35:21):
Yeah, to make sure I saw Scott's face whenever I picked.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
We'll get Harris at eight oh nine, when Brian Robinson
Cooper Cup at eight eleven, then Deebo Samuel goes to
me again at a twelve. I'm just I'm intrigued. I
want to see can he revitalize himself a little bit
with a chip on his shoulder or is he gonna
just eat a bag of chips instead and be terrible.
I don't know. We'll find out. But you know what,

(35:46):
as my fourth wide receiver, I'll take a look at
it and see again. That's why I like Deebo as
a flex guy, because the bonus if he is good
and they use him in the backfield too, and they
move him all around the field. Deebo's upside is a
wide receiver or more like, that's how good he could be.
I think his floor is somewhere around the three. If
he's my flex guy as my four, I'm good.

Speaker 2 (36:07):
Of course, Welsh's about to make a sacrifice.

Speaker 1 (36:09):
Good wearing your forty nine Ers hat and your forty
nine Ers shirt, and I got my forty nine his cap.
I got all my forty nine his stuff on me today?

Speaker 4 (36:16):
Is there?

Speaker 3 (36:16):
This was my debo helmet. Here's my agreed creation of
Deebo this season.

Speaker 2 (36:20):
Oh oh oh no.

Speaker 3 (36:23):
It was worthless.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
Whoops spipes. Then I selected Jayden Reid again as my
wide receiver.

Speaker 2 (36:29):
Five.

Speaker 1 (36:29):
I think a pretty good floor play for the bye weeks.
Last year was disappointing just for the Packers period. So
can he bounce back to be a top twenty five
wide receiver. I think he can. He's wide receiver twenty
nine last year twenty five the year before. I think
that's a pretty good value in the ninth round. I'll
take it. But of course that cost me a running
back that I wanted, not Tyrone Tracy in that backfield. Now,
now that's not the one. He went next, and Darnel Mooney,

(36:50):
then Christian Kirk and then the Homer Welsh took Ricky
Pearsoll here at nine oh five. So I was thinking
about Pearsol. I don't know, it's just too many other
but too many, too much competition for targets. That's where
I struggle over guys like Jayden Reid maybe and maybe even.

Speaker 3 (37:06):
Devola different but none we're available. So it was, but
Ricky Pearsall was the upside guy.

Speaker 1 (37:12):
So I'm just trying to say that's why I took
oh yeah, and Samuel over Pearsall. I like the town
of Pearsall. It's just there's Kittle, and there's McCaffrey, and
then there's Jennings, and then there's maybe Ayuk and like
just so by Pierreau.

Speaker 3 (37:24):
I don't disagree. I don't disagree with this because I
am firmly team Juwan Jennings. Everybody is like maybe Juwan
Jennings will one hundred percent outperform his ADP where we
have it right now. I guarantee it. That's not a question.
He's the number one on this team. Brendon ayuk is hurt.
Guy was talking about how oh people are talking about
trading me and he's stuck in bed and can't get

(37:46):
out and do anything. He's not coming back at the
beginning of the season, and when he does, even when
he does. Here's the other thing. Juwan Jennings was still
pretty's like favorite target when it was one of ayuker depot.
Jennings is the guy. So that's where it comes to
Pearsall because you're right, CHRISI. McCaffery is going to be
a force in the backfield. George Kittle gets monster targets,
but Pearsaw is that breakaway guy. I disagree a little

(38:08):
bit because I know Deebro's like a hardcore Ricky Pearsaw guy,
and maybe you think he's like the top wide receiver
to have in this offense. I think he will be
the explosive guy. But in a full PPR, Juwan Jennings
can get me seven eight catches a game. Pier Saw's
the guy that is gonna be volatile between two and five,
but he also might break those fifty yarders. He might

(38:29):
be the Terry McLaurin of this offense when all is
said and done, where I think Juwan Jennings is the
core piece I missed out on Jennings. I get high
upside again, Montgomery, Caleb Johnson, Jacoby Myers, and now Ricky Piersaw.
High upside is my fifth wide receiver. That's what I'm
playing for.

Speaker 1 (38:45):
Travis Aten goes next. I had to pass on him.
That was the biggest suggestion for me on Draft Wizard,
and I understand why I just can't get there with
Travis ATM not gonna do it this year. Tajay Spears
goes next, and then Scott Bodman's Alex key On Coleman.
So is year two the year for Keon Coleman box?

Speaker 2 (39:02):
I think so. I mean he was third last season
and yards per catch. He was fifth in YAK per
reception last season as well. So for Keon Coleman, to me,
it's just about getting him the ball a little bit more.
He had over five hundred yards on twenty nine catches,
so if we get him up to sixty catches, he

(39:22):
should be right around one thousand yards. I think he
can get in the end zone a little bit more
as well. We saw a ton of touchdowns go to
Alan and James Cook last season. We know touchdowns are finicky,
they can be spread out a little bit more, and
we know that McDermott is basically a hard ass on
every rookie. So I think this being Coleman's second season.
We also found out he had a chip bone in

(39:43):
his wrist for a couple of weeks after Week nine,
So I just think there's all kinds of upside with
Keon Coleman for this season.

Speaker 1 (39:50):
All right after Coleman, Verbondre Stevenson and then de Bro
you did it. It's ak cam scatabu at nine to ten.
I mean, if this was August, I would have done
it because it would have been high enough to still
win this. But he was too buried in the rankings,
and I really thought about it. I was right there
and I was like, no, just wait, I'm sure he
won't make it back to you because Bog's and Debro there,
and sure enough he did not, So scataboo do to you.
And then Javonte Williams zach Sarboney on the turn and

(40:13):
that you took my other favorite late pick, Trey Harris.
So two rookies, Scataboo and Harris debro Let's talk about
the impact those guys can make for their teams, and
especially in PPR. I think people underestimate how good catching
the ball out of the backfield Cam is.

Speaker 4 (40:25):
Oh. Absolutely, Man, Skataboo is my guy that I think
he's going to win the job there. I know Bogwin's
been on him as a prospect and stuff, and I'm there, man, Like,
I think there's nothing that the Giants showed us last
year that because everybody talks about Oak, it's probably gonna
be committee. What did New York show you last year
that made you believe that it's gonna be a committee?
It was Devin Singletary as the guy until it wasn't.

(40:48):
Then it was Tyrone Tracy and then he fumbled it
away and then he was the guy again. They want
one running back and I think that's going to be
Skataboo and then getting Trey Harris. Man, it's upside for days.
I mean, he's my wide receiver four so flex play,
he's not even hitting my lineup and I think that's
exactly what you need to be taking shots for on
your bench.

Speaker 1 (41:05):
Yeah, Trey Harris has all the upside there. I love
that pick all right, Rashad White at ten o four
than Tank Bigsby to Bogman at tenh five. So Bigsby
at ten o five or eighteen at nine oh six,
what's the better value?

Speaker 2 (41:15):
Bogs I think is the better value. Honestly, I just
at this point, you know, Biggsby led this team last season,
but we have a new coaching staff coming in here,
so I don't really know how it's going to work out.
I think if you want to say Tuton has the
leg up because this regime hands selected him, great. If
you want to say Bigsby has the upside because he

(41:36):
led this team last year, I think that's fair. And
if you think Travis CTN has the most skill, I
also think that's fair. He was the highest profile player
on this team coming in through the drafts. So I
don't really know how this is going to turn out.
But I know recency bias says Tank Bigsby led last year.
I kind of think he's going to again this season.
So I think it's biggsb has the early down roll

(41:59):
and figuring out who was behind him. That's how I
kind of see it playing out.

Speaker 1 (42:03):
All right, we got a few picks left here to go,
and the names are flying. So after Bogwin takes Bigsby, Rico, Daudell,
Austin Eckler, and then Welsh, you took your quarterback Kyler
Murray here at ten o eight.

Speaker 3 (42:14):
Yeah, that seems like a year ago that I took
Kyler Murray. He fell, He fell quite a bit. We
had so many quarterbacks in the same If you've over
check out rankings, you can see it's a really big tier,
which I kind of agree with. I early in the
draft kind of wanted to try to focus on Joe Burrow,
and once Burrow was gone, I just wanted to take
the best value. But we saw like Brock Purty go

(42:36):
in front of Kyler Murray, we saw Justin Fields go
in front of Brock, in front of Kyler Murray. So
so many fell that I just thought it was such
a great value because I hadn't gotten my quarterback or
tied in yet. There's tons of rushing equity in there
that it was kind of a no brainer. But I
am going to pair another quarterback in I think when
I take those later quarterbacks, I like to try to

(42:57):
put two together to create some monster just in case.
So that is what I'm gonna do with one of
my last bench spots as i'm picking right now. But
I just thought Kylie was just too good of a
value based on the quarterbacks left.

Speaker 1 (43:07):
No, it's certainly good value in the tenth round, Trey
Benson at ten oh nine, Jalen Right at ten ten,
then Luther Burden at ten eleven, and then there's usually
one or two jerks in your league that wants to
take those guys that are like the running backs. Man,
if there's a big injury to the guy in front
of them, wheels up. I'm both of those jerks in
this draft because I took Ray Davis and Isaac Garendo
because I could. And if one hits great, if both

(43:30):
hit awesome. If not, I'm looking at the way rewire
for more running backs. Big deal, So what who cares.
I've got a million wide receivers already, I've got my
fighting a fight about, and come on, let's go. But look,
I just love the way this has fallen out to me.
So I'll take Gray Davis. I'll take Corendo and I
will take my chances that they get some opportunities. In
twenty twenty five, John who Smith goes at eleven zho

(43:51):
two and then Djoku back to back tight ends, then
Rashid Shaheed followed by Basehell, Tuton to Chris Welsh, so
Welsh Tooton at eleven oh five, I at at nine
oh six or Bigsby at ten oh five. Who's the
best value in the backfield for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Speaker 3 (44:05):
I mean, I would think at this point the best
value based on that is probably Eten for falling like that.
But if you're playing upside, that's why I went with
Tuton Again, like I have core running backs, I have
a strong three cores that I think allowed me to
take some shots on huge, massive upside plays, whether it
is my return to my fantasy team or me hitting

(44:26):
into my league in the trade market. If if Tuton
or Caleb Johnson hits, I could end up moving to
David Montgomery or Hell, I could even move one of
the top guys. So I thought the upside was the
big play here for Tutin. But you know when they're
all going close, like I would probably rank at Eten,
then Tootin, and then Biggsby at the bottom.

Speaker 1 (44:42):
Okay, let's continue on after touton Marquise Brown and JK. Dobbins, Bogman,
you took another rookie year at Mecca Agbuka of the
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at wide receiver eleven O Waight. I
like this pick here too. I think Abuka is going
to get a lot more action than other people do.
What do you think?

Speaker 2 (44:56):
Yeah, I mean, I think he's already better than McMillan.
I don't think that's even a quite I also think
he's better than an injured Chris Godwin coming off the
crazy ankle injury that he had last season. So this
is a situation where, look, yeah it's crowded, it is
in Tampa, but it's very good for Baker, which is
why he's going so high that and also coming off

(45:18):
forty touchdowns. But also, it doesn't mean just because it's
kind of doesn't mean that egg Buka goes to the
back of the line because he's a rookie. I don't
think that's the way it's gonna work. I think, look,
we have McMillan here, we're bringing back Chris Godwin, and
we have Agbuca because we need to keep this room
well stocked and maintained. And whoever plays best is going
to get there. And I think eg Buka he's not

(45:40):
better than Evans, but he's already the second best wide
receiver on this team in my opinion.

Speaker 1 (45:45):
Okay, fair enough, Let's move on to the next couple
picks here Roshawn Johnson and then Debro. You took a
rookie wide receiver as well, Jaden Higgins. I always say
follow the money, and when comes to Higgins, he's the
first guy ever as a second round pick to get
a full guaranteed contract. To me, that is a very
big deal and that's something that I think people should
be paying close attention to. So Jadan Higgins, is he

(46:05):
ready to step in and be that number two guy
right away for the Texans?

Speaker 4 (46:08):
I think you definitely can.

Speaker 1 (46:09):
And if CJ.

Speaker 4 (46:10):
Stroud has a bounce back year, I mean, look, guys,
were we were drafting Stefan Diggs, Tank Dell, all of
these wide receivers very high last year. What's changed except
the fact that we're getting more value on them outside
of Nico Collins this year.

Speaker 1 (46:25):
If CJ.

Speaker 4 (46:25):
Stroud bounces back. He's carrying one, maybe two wide receivers
with him in the process outside of Nico.

Speaker 1 (46:31):
Okay, next pick after that for the turn Tucker Craft,
followed by Ferguson. So team eleven taking some shots at
tight end, and you took Jaden Blue when it returned
back to you at twelve oh three. This backfield is
kind of a mess for the Cowboys. I don't know
which direction you want to go, but it seems like
maybe taking a shot on the cheap is the way
to do it. And Blue might be that guy.

Speaker 2 (46:53):
Well this cab and Jayden Blue. You're trying to tell
me you're not a troll, Well, I mean, hey, we.

Speaker 4 (47:01):
Can have similar takes and like the same player as
bog when it's okay.

Speaker 1 (47:05):
Yeah, And then Welsh took Caleb Johnson and DK Meckett.
I mean, this is really like a support animal for Bogman.

Speaker 4 (47:11):
After this, just trolling Bogman has been our only goal
of the entire time.

Speaker 2 (47:16):
Abbott made sure it's okay for me now, so all right.

Speaker 1 (47:19):
That's good, all right, Well, let's talk about Jaydon Blue
in this Dallas backfield though, de Bro because it is
kind of a mess and very uncertain, and that means
there's potential for value.

Speaker 4 (47:28):
Oh, absolutely ambiguous backfield for days. If Javonte Williams truly
is cooked, then this could be Blues backfield. And I mean,
just how I built this team. It's all rookies on
my bench. So I'm taking upset swings for days because
a lot of these bench guys like if they don't
pan out, if Blue's not the guy means my RB
five man, if I'm cutting in by week four, week five, whatever, all.

Speaker 1 (47:50):
Right, after Blue, you have Dalton Kincaid, Braylan Allen, then
I'm sering Bright Allen to Bogman. So Bog's uh Jets backfield.
You know, we have some people say, well, they're gonna
be using all these guys. Some people don't believe that.
What do you believe when it comes to Braylen Allen
and the Jets too, with Breese Hall and the backfield
they have right now in terms of usage.

Speaker 2 (48:09):
I believe I really wanted Jaden Blue who But I
think I just they've they've indicated they're gonna make it
a you know, a bigger break this year. Maybe that
it's possible. I still think Priese Hall is the man here,
but Braylan Allen is definitely better than I thought he
was going to be. I thought he might be a

(48:29):
little too clunkable, too slow make it in the NFL,
but he proved last year he's not. So he's definitely
going to be involved and they're going to run the
ball a lot, and as we've seen, the running back
next to a running quarterback usually has a pretty strong year.
And I think if Priescee Hall does have some injury issues,
snapping up a guy like Braylan Allen this late in
the draft is a good value.

Speaker 1 (48:51):
All right. So after Allen Keenan Allen goes next. Then
Blake krum Welsh, you took Jared goff at your backup
QB we're talking about. So what made you go QB
here instead of piling on some more wide receivers. Why'd
you go QB this early? Again?

Speaker 3 (49:03):
Well, I feel really really comfortable. I mean, fourth wide
receiver was Jacoby Myer's huge up side with great startability,
and pearsalid wide receiver five because and I have when
we get to it, I have a clear mistake that
I've done through this draft that I just hate and
it's always something like this, but I didn't. I didn't
want to be too far back on quarterback. And I think, yes,

(49:25):
there's some really good waiver wire options. I mean, Herbert's
out there, Drake May's out there, but I just wanted
to pair two really really big stud high potential in
golf and Murray that I can battle between and not
worry about other people drafting. We had a lot of
backup tight ends being drafted in this for some reason
that I don't think there's probably enough on the quarterback range,
so I just don't have to fight it. Didn't love

(49:46):
any of the other A lot of the upside stuff
was out, So that's why I went with the two
quarterback play. If that's what I'm going to do if
I draft these quarterbacks late, I'm going to try to
take two high end guys and not be like Arjo
Carler Burray and then I'll just play the waiver wire
for my other one. No nothing, So I want to
take like two high end back of the end of
QB one high.

Speaker 1 (50:05):
QB two range. Yeah, I think you're sal a lot
of people like double up on tight end late and
just kind of punt on the position. Take shots. I
think it's gonna be a very popular strategy. Tyler Aljier
goes at twelve oh nine that Marshawn Lloyd the Eagles defense.
I took Cedric Tillman. I was a fan of his
in college, fan of his coming into the NFL. He
got a little taste. There, got Joe Flacco, who has
no inhibitions about throwing the ball downfield. So we're probably

(50:27):
fine with that, and I'm okay with it. I'm at
peace with it. So I think Cedric Tillman could be
a nice value here in the twelfth round. Then I
took the best defense because there's a bunch of guys
that I like for this last pick, so I'd rather
get the best defense. That's my logic there. And I
do think the Broncos are that certainly the best secondary.
That's for damn sure. Julia McLoughlin goes next in Dallas,
god Or Kyle Williams Welsh. You took the Steelers defense

(50:47):
just to continue to pour lemon juice and the cuts
of Scott Bogman here death by a thousand cuts, Breton Strange,
then the San Francisco forty nine Ers. Bog You took
Caleb Williams there with your selection there, real quick, that's
your one quarterback you've taken here. Why Caleb over a
guy like maybe Drake may And with his rushing equity
and some other guys that were still on the board.

Speaker 2 (51:06):
I mean, it doesn't really matter. I picked the guy
with the highest upside here because there's so many good
ones that are gonna be available on the wire. So
just give me the guy with the highest upside.

Speaker 1 (51:16):
Fair enough, all right, Debro, Let's get to your pick here.
After Prescott goes, JJ McCarthy to you, Derek, he is
your secondary QB. That makes a lot of sense. Adam
Thielen goes in the Ravens defense. You took the Dolphins defense,
real quick, Debro. McCarthy upside here with Justin Fields. That
seems like a pretty good QB pairing to me.

Speaker 4 (51:34):
Yeah, man, Sam Darnold, Yes, that Sam Donald weeks one
through seventeen was QB eight and fantasy points per game.
McCarthy's a better quarterback than he is. I think he's
gonna aut produce that this year. I've got him as
a QB one, getting him this laid and pairing him
with the upside of Justin Fields and for the defense man,
I just went absolute streaming. I know the Dolphins defense

(51:54):
has a lot of questions. I think their front's gonna
be okay. They play the Colts Week one, so whether
it's Richard cent or Daniel John, somebody's throwing some picks
and taking sacks.

Speaker 1 (52:02):
There you go the rest of these picks in the
last round, after the Dolphins defense, chiefs Defense Commanders defense
to Bogman, Kareem Hunt the New York Jets. Then Welsh
took Tyler Warren. There the big rookie tight end with
big upside Houston Texans Lions Justice Hill. And then for
my last pick here, look, you know still Rashaan Bateman
was out there. But there's a guy that had ninety

(52:23):
receptions last year, and I don't think people realize that
in the PPR leagues ninety three receptions at one hundred
and forty targets. And I think Wandell Robinson's gonna have
a lot more opportunity this year because I think the
quarterback play is going to be just a tad better
for the Giants, not great, but certainly better. And a
PPR leagues, it's all about getting those touchdown those points there.
Excuse me, four are receptions there? Real quick, Welsh before

(52:44):
the time expires here on the draft, Tyler Warren, are
you happy with how that went when you waited at
the end and Warren is your one and only tight end.

Speaker 3 (52:52):
No, I'm not. That's the mistake. I did the thing
that you don't want to do. We're throughout the draft.
I'm like, all right, we're going to go here, gonna
get here, We're gonna wait, We're gonna go here. And
it never worked out. The tight ends kept going it,
you know. For I thought about Kittle at the beginning.
Then I had kind of moved to committing to Ingram.

Speaker 1 (53:08):
Nope.

Speaker 3 (53:09):
Then it was John who I really wanted, John who
went like three picks before me. Then I just kind
of kept going down maybe Tucker Nope, God no, it
just it kept happening like that, and it sucks when
that happens. I will say, though, I got Tyler Warren high.
I've got him as a top twelve tight end. I
think with all the chaos at quarterback, and you talked
about all the options they have, your safety option Tyler

(53:30):
Warren being a playmaking, low end tight end That's why
Josh Downs is so exciting, and I think it can
make Tyler Warren exciting. But I'm not happy with how
that ended up going for sure.

Speaker 1 (53:39):
Well, you should be happy because you won the draft, kid,
Oh my number one?

Speaker 3 (53:44):
When I won?

Speaker 4 (53:45):
You won?

Speaker 3 (53:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (53:51):
Wait?

Speaker 3 (53:51):
So wait when I won, I finished higher than Bogman.

Speaker 1 (53:54):
You finish higher than Bogman?

Speaker 3 (53:56):
Was that higher than Derek?

Speaker 1 (53:57):
Everybody were higher than Derek and just higher than mere
scoreboard rboard. So number two is team eleven, followed by
me at number three, Debro by one point. You missed
it better than you one point. That's that's honestly, the
only consolation of not winning this draft is beating you

(54:18):
by a single point. That's just gotta be. I want
to recount, recount Bogman number seven there building that dynasty
team out that seems gonna be really good in a
couple of years. But seriously, whatever the quarterback the quarterback way. Uh,
let's see sleeper alert for me, Cedric Tillman number three
wide receiver and consensus sleeper rankings. There you go, which

(54:39):
you can find a fantasypros dot Com. Uh said, I
reached on Ray Davis. Yeah, whatever, that's fine, Look, I
don't have a lot of RB depth. I don't care.
It's a PPR league. I've got my two rbs. You know,
stuff happens there. I'm hitting the waiver wire. That's just
how I'm gonna go. I'm just not going to invest
too heavily there. Let's take a look though, at the strengths.
Let's take a look at the expert opinions. Uh mine,

(55:00):
of course. Joe pi'zepia gave me an a plus, so
you gotta love that. Derek Brown gave me a C
so de bro you and Ericson both gave me sees.
You can suck it, you know why because I finished
a point better than you. So even despite your bad grade,
I'm still there. Well, since you're the king of the
draft who liked and hated your draft just out of curiosity.

Speaker 3 (55:19):
Yeah, I definitely am the king of the draft, y'all
bow down before me. My number one was Jorge B. Edwards,
who loved mine the most. Tara Roberts, Tara this year,
would you look at this number three? Scott Bagman, Scott,
I think I specifically loved my DK metcalf pick and

(55:40):
maybe even that Caleb Johnson one, even though he didn't
decide to say it. He said Jacobe Myers and Ricky
pier Saw hates, Rudy Gamble did not like it. Dave Klung,
Ryan Weiss hated me the most, hated Justin Jefferson and
Derek Henry Apparently those are big hates. But Jorge B.
Edwards the biggest love and Ryan Weiss the biggest hater.
And I did have some interesting steals. Just want to

(56:03):
throw out number one RB steel and the consensus steal
or sleeper rankings is too, so he was the number
one sleeper rb uh and they loved both quarterbacks and
Tyler Warren. So me waiting on the quarterbacks and the
tight ends ended up being like a big boon to
my value because those were my three biggest steals.

Speaker 2 (56:22):
Do you guys hear the difference in his voice now
that he's number one?

Speaker 1 (56:28):
Always, Well, she hates everything. Until he doesn't, everything's the worse.
This is all doom and gloom. To get more of.

Speaker 4 (56:36):
That if you're not first or second, you know, Yeah, look,
this team is very good.

Speaker 1 (56:40):
Golf a QB here actually took Golf as the starting quarterback,
so we didn't even want you to take Kyler Murray
where you do it?

Speaker 3 (56:46):
I know I moved him above right, but that's probably it.

Speaker 1 (56:49):
Like once you pass on quarterback, you might as well
just keep passing. I guess Bucky Irving, Derrick Henry pretty
good there. Justin Jefferson Courtland, Suton, DK Metcalf also pretty
good there. Look you got Tyler Warren, I mean, most
coveted tight end rookie probably, And you can always play
the waiver wire. I for it that doesn't work out.
You got David Montgomerys or flex the Steelers defense Myers,
Jacoby Myers, that is, Caleb Johnson, Kyler Murray, Ricky piersol Beasehall,

(57:11):
Tutan Welsh. This is a pretty great roster. I think
this is the number one roster.

Speaker 3 (57:15):
I'm not bad for a baseball guy there too.

Speaker 1 (57:17):
Baseball guy, go get that pick six on DraftKings, go
use that. Let's take a look at the other drafts here.
Let's start our way from the bottom and work up
Scott Bogman. Let's go with you, Caleb Williams, Devon, Alvin Kamara,
Malik Neighbors, DeVante Smith, Tedoro McMillan. Then you had George Kittle,
and then Quin Shawn Judkins commander's defense, followed by Pittman, Bigsby, Agbuka,

(57:40):
key On, Coleman, Braylan Allen. Here a lot of youth
here on this. I think the one thing you've probably
got heard on Boggs, and be honest, it's probably the
fact you had Molik Neighbors at number one and then
the other wide receivers. Look, DeVante Smith is solid. McMillan,
I think it's gonna be really good, but I think
maybe not as much quote unquote star power at wide receiver.
I think that's probably where the roster got dinged. What
do you think?

Speaker 2 (58:01):
Yeah, I think you're probably right on that, but I
have so many receptions between a Chan and Kamara kind
of right, yeah in my opinion.

Speaker 1 (58:09):
And two possibly awful offenses.

Speaker 2 (58:11):
But go ahead, and my preference is to take a
top tier tight end, right. It's to get that tight
end because there's less tight ends available on the wire
than a quarterback on the wire. So I got my
top tight end in George Kittle, And you know I
waited on quarterback, but as I mentioned, I took the
guy with the most upside. There's all kinds of guys
on the wire should he not work out? So I

(58:32):
don't know. This is It's funny that this is a
third mock I've done here. I've been first on the
other two and seventh on this one, and I feel
like this is the roster that I like the most
out of all of them. I didn't like picking on
the ends either, and picking in the middle felt better
for me here this time.

Speaker 1 (58:49):
Remember when you were first on because I was it.

Speaker 2 (58:53):
Which was one of the ones I was on because
I was first in both of them.

Speaker 1 (58:56):
Yeah, I think I was first in the last one,
which felt good.

Speaker 3 (59:00):
Know what I like about this shoe? The likes on
his team, Scott Bogman, Pat fitz Morris, uh, and then
you have some other great people. But here's the best part.
The hates. There's two great hates. The guy Michael Tomlin.
It's just hilarious. I just want to point out, obviously,
but the second biggest, Joe hates this team. You hated

(59:22):
this team more than almost anybody.

Speaker 2 (59:23):
And being led by the witness here is not great persecuted,
but the right everywhere you got my players hates my team.
He's the host.

Speaker 1 (59:33):
I don't hate your team. I don't hate your team. Actually,
I think it's a very dangerous team, but also dangerous
where there's also downside. So I think maybe that's so
probably why I hate it a little bit more. Derek Brown,
I only imagine Scott Bogman loved your team because it's
justin Fields, Ken Walker, Harvey, i'man Ross, Aint Brown, Drake London,
Mike Evans, Mark Andrews, Tony Pollard, the Dolphins defense, Camscataboo

(59:54):
on the bench, uh JJ McCarthy, Trey Horrise, Jayden Higgins
and Jayden Blue. I think this is a really good
roster here. I think the grade was a little unfair
to think that I'm a little bit better. I think
that's it.

Speaker 4 (01:00:09):
I really like this team. I thought it was a
balanced build. I thought I got a lot of volume
at running back and upside and steadiness a wide receiver.

Speaker 1 (01:00:16):
I gave my finish. There's no shame in that, Bro.

Speaker 3 (01:00:19):
You like your team so much. You were the highest
vote on. I mean, look, if we're gonna run.

Speaker 4 (01:00:26):
Exactly, you gotta follow your process or you know, don't
waste it's.

Speaker 1 (01:00:29):
Got Bogan like your team. That's what I'm Bogman was
not even in the top. I don't know I I
started drafting all the players and still Bogman hates my team.

Speaker 3 (01:00:39):
There wasn't in the middle of Bogman's distant cousin, Jeff
Bogus did not like it the most.

Speaker 5 (01:00:44):
But there was no my team.

Speaker 1 (01:00:47):
He gave me a sixty one. It's just tough scene
out to saying, all right, uh, here's my roster. I'll
let you boys pick it apart. It was good enough
for number three on the board. Baker Mayfield. It was
the top five QB last year. Just saying Joe mix It,
Chewba Hubbard, Jamar Chase, Tyreek Hill, Terry McClure and TJ
Hawkins and Deebo, Samuel Denver Broncos defense. Then read Tillman,

(01:01:07):
Garndo Davis and Juandelle Debro. What's your take on this
roster here?

Speaker 4 (01:01:13):
I think you got a lot of volume. I just
I have some questions, like about only because like Deebo
and Jane red Late, like with you need your top
three wide receivers, which you spent up for them. You
need them all to be steady and hit. And I
worry about Tyreek being in that mix. But me too,
I don't hate the team. I think it's solid. Me too,

(01:01:33):
I worry about Tyreek Hill. Also, are you worried about
Tyreek Hill? Drop your comments below and subscribe to the
