Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome in everybody to Fantasy Pros. This is the Fantasy
Football Podcast. It is me Joey p Joe Pi Zapia,
and today we're gonna take a look at some sleepers.
Don't tell anybody because the draft is in well basically
a couple hours from now just about. You can count
the hours, or you can count these sleepers. And I
can count on these two all my good friends, Jake
Sealey from the Athletic and of course Debro Derek Brown,

(00:23):
the King of Bros, hanging out with us today talking
about guys that might get drafted a little later but
still might make an impact depending on their landing spots
in the NFL draft. And speaking of the NFL Draft,
aren't you lucky because you live in a world where
we're gonna be live right here on the Fantasy Pros Channel,
Night one, Night two for the NFL Draft. That's right,
instant reactions from a fantasy perspective, because that's how you

(00:46):
watch the draft. You know it, we know it. Pat Fitzmore's,
Derek Brown. We are gonna have Scott Bagman, Andrew Erickson
and more so join us. Coverage starts Thursday, April twenty fourth,
that's right, seven thirty pm East. You're right here on
the Fantasy Bros. YouTube channel, So make sure you head
over to YouTube dot com slash Fantasy Pros or you
know how to use the apps, and just make sure

(01:07):
you subscribe to the channel. Make sure you ring the
bell to that goes ding and make us your second
screen experience for the NFL Draft. We're better yet your
first screen experience. Put Rich Eyesen and those guys in
the little screen. Put us on the big TV, right,
Jake Seely, Because if you're talking about sex appeal, you're
talking about Derek Brown. That's what I say.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
My you weren't coming to me on that one. You
said friends and then said Jake Seely, and I'm like, wait,
this is does that doesn't even sound right?

Speaker 1 (01:36):
It's not, it's not. And look you're you're outnumbered here.
It's two to one on the bald scale. So unless
you're gonna shave that pretty hair of yours, we're gonna
be the too handsome fellas.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
I had one had were hat the last three episodes too,
and I know it was that wasn't.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Derek episodes And just so happens, he doesn't wear one
when he's with you and me today, Isn't that curious?

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Feels like well timed or maybe poorly timed with mister
Seely like something.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
All right, let's get to some of these names that again,
if you're in these rookie drafts in the dynasty leagues,
you're gonna want to know these guys come round four,
round five when you're searching around, and we all know
your competitors aren't as good as you, so you're prepared.
So let's prepare people. Jake Sealey, give me the first
of your top five. Derek's got a top five list
to that you think can be sleepers depending on where

(02:21):
they land in the NFL draft, And people should be
circling and watching very carefully as the draft goes on.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Yeah, I'm gonna start with big play wide receiver just
to give you an idea. Twenty five point four yards
per reception last year and twenty one point nine for
his career, crazy speed. The only concern you might have
is it gets bumped off his routes even with his
size and needs some development. And that's Deonta Thornton or
Donta Thornton. I still want to say Donta from the foreman.

(02:48):
He's gonna trick me up forever. Dante Thornton call him that.
I actually I told you guys as for fun this
year I did smash up comps over the Athletic and
this one I was in trouble trying to find who
originally was like, you know what, he's a bigger, taller
Devree Henderson. And then I thought about Ashley Lale for
a callback there. So there you go, Devery Lilee, Devery

(03:11):
Litlee could be a wide receiver three slash four on
the right team, and for fantasy, of course, knowing that
and knowing those kind of players and the wrist that
comes a wide receiver five or six on the wrong team,
or even a behind the depth chart that doesn't have
a ton of passing, but that upside what you're playing for,
and you're playing for that big plays. Like I said,
I mean just those two numbers. To go back to it,
over twenty yards per reception for his career, a big

(03:34):
play waiting to happen at worst case. I'm not using
this as a comp to say, like the stylistic, but
like you know, Nate Washington for a few years there
where it was like you know as my wide receiver.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Four.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
I can live with the ups and downs because some
of those weeks he's gonna win them for you.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
We could key and peel up your name a little bit,
maybe something like Jacks maybe check the attendance role is
thekla here jack better?

Speaker 2 (04:00):
If I ever had a clone, it'd be Jack K
Jackie jack K for sure.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
All right, debro, let's get to number five on your
list of sleeper prospects.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
And silent j A that that doesn't work?

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Okay, oh ak ak that sounds hard. That's hood a
k c l A. That's very good.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Yeah, he sounds like.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Middle linebacker for Southern Mississippi State for sure. Nice doesn't
get to say how much he loves my pick? Can,
I mean, do you have any do you have any
thoughts on the share?

Speaker 3 (04:34):
I'll had a little bit of love to to aches
pick here. Uh dun'tin Thornton, man. I love watching his
tape and I love his game because I know exactly
what you're getting in the NFL, and everything Jake talked
about was absolutely correct. I mean, my com for him,
and I think it just stylistically what you expect on
a weekly, weekly basis, it's Marks Valdez scantling and no

(04:55):
he doesn't have frying panhands. But there are some drop
issues with Danta Thornton. But dude, it's speed speed, speed,
field stretching for days like straight line speed. Get him
to run, go routes, crossers, deep overs like we're gonna
get big plays, like I have said, through and through.
Send him to freaking Seattle and let Clint Kubiak try

(05:15):
to turn him into Rashid Shaheed two point zero and
we are off running man.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
All right, So good positive vibes Aaron Thornton. Maybe mvs
with better hands. I like that that might be easy
for the people to digest. Although the Ashley l Lee comp.
I know everyone's just running to the YouTube comments.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
I mean, Google, let's.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Get to the next guy on your list here, number five,
de bro walk us through.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
Dude, I gotta talk about TODJ. Brooks here. I love TODJ. Brooks,
and I hate the fact that TODs Brooks is coming
out in this class that's so deep at running back,
because if you would have come out last year, he
would have been a top three, top five guy in
that class. But looking at this running back class, he's
getting pushed down the board, and I you know, I
understand it, Like I mean, he's not exactly he's not
inside my top twelve running backs, but he's inside my

(06:00):
top sixteen as a guy that he reminds me. And
people are going to hear this comp and they're going
to think of the last two years and the disappointment.
They're not gonna remember his rookie season, which was awesome.
Todge Brooks reminds me so much of Damian Pierce bowling
ball back. Strong, underrated as a pass catcher, and he
can gobble up volume for days. I mean, dude, he

(06:22):
had twenty four or more carries in eighty two percent
of his games last year, and running behind a putrid
Texas Tech offensive line which is fifty second run blocking
grade hurt him because a lot of times he gets
the handoff, there's a guy in the backfield and there's
no hole to be found, so he's having to create
something out of nothing. So Todje Brooks, I think he's
an underrated player and he could break tackles. He could

(06:44):
be a three down running back if he were to
end up having a Damian Pierce James Robinson type of
rookie season, although he probably goes and say the fifth round,
so again, maybe a Tyler Algier type of rookie season.
I'm not gonna be surprised at all.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Man Well, Jake and Era where we go through so
many running backs of the season with the elongated season,
is brook somebody that you have your eye onto.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
I feel like I'm the lowest on Brooks, and I
think it's more because of last year. Like I agree
with debro Is, I almost feel like I lost my
appeal for Brooks this past year. I didn't like how
much he waited at times, like he almost had too
much patience, if that's a thing. And I worry that
like his passing game of allment is just so much

(07:26):
dump balls versus actually running routes. So it's not that
I don't like Brooks, it's just I don't see it
like I Actually, I'll give you Chase the lower end
of Chase Brown in a time share or Kamani Vidal
like I called him Chase caval Fadal. There you go.
I'm concerned that that's just he's gonna be stuck as
that third option. And maybe I'm wrong. This is one

(07:47):
where I like I'm definitely more of the negative than
the positive. Again, I'm not super negative on anybody, but
I feel like I'm the only person that's kind of like, Eh,
I think Brooks is kind of just a guy. I
seems like a lot more people that are smart that
respect fits Debro that are in on Brooks and I'm just.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
Not smart and respect. Wow, you sure, h Brown, there's.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
A lot of respect here.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
Yeah, let's get to number four on your list here,
Jake Seely, this is a guy here from South Carolina
known as the Rocket, so let's discuss him.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
And he was a rocket. That's kind of why I
have my eye on Raheem Sanders actually similar to Debro.
If this wasn't this year and this is also pre injury,
he'd probably thought of a lot higher, and we'll go
a lot higher in the draft. I think we're gonna
find out real quickly what the NFL thinks of him,
because if he goes on Day two, that means people
feel like the injuries in the past, they feel like

(08:37):
he's the running back we remember from two years ago,
who was thought of as a potential first rounder at
one point six feet tall, pushing two hundred and twenty pounds,
great cuts, good speed when he was healthy and on
the right scheme, I said he could be Carlos Hide.
On the downside, if he's not the same guy, which
we haven't really seen him be. The pre injury version

(08:59):
is maybe he's only Marlon Mack so Carlos Smack, which
sounds like a rapper, is what I said. But like
I feel like if he can get back to ninety
ninety five percent and a team drafts him on day two,
which tells us that they think he can be I
think you're looking at somebody who could bring RB two
or three value. Now, if he doesn't go till day three,
this is probably they You're thinking maybe year two or

(09:19):
three of his career, and hopefully he gets that come
back around. But the biggest concern is just that if
he's ever going to get back to the Rocket Sanders,
we knew, uh de.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Bro, what are your thoughts on the rocket? Can he
get back to where he was?

Speaker 3 (09:32):
I I have hope for all these players. I don't
know if it happens for Raheem Sanders. I just I
look at his game and how it translates. He reminds
me so much as Emir White as a guy that
tested super super athletic, but when you turn on the film,
the hips are a little bit tight. He's a one
cut and downhill guy and he's got the size to

(09:52):
live in that world, but you just don't see enough
wiggle like he needs to go to like an outside
zone team or an inside zone team where he can
just literally get downhill, or even a gap scheme where
the point where it gets problematic for Rocket is when
you ask him to string multiple moves together and he can't.
He has a it's more build up speed. If you're
watching him.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
You know who I thought of, Tevin Coleman back with
Shanahan on the Falcons, like that kind.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
Of oh okay runway back.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Yeah that makes sense. I do like the disdain you
have for each other's selection so far for a show.
As we move on to number four on your list,
debro back to you and we're talking about another running back.
This one is a fighting blue hen.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
Oh yes, sir, small school guy. I love him. Man
uh Marcus Sharn's running back out of Delaware with these
small school guys. Everybody talks about the lack of competition.
You just turn on the film, it tells you all
you need to know. And I understand he comes from Delaware,
but tested really well and I'm not knocking him down
a peg because he subbed two hundred pounds. The NFL

(10:54):
has told us over the last few years that that
doesn't matter that much anymore. So I'm extremely high on Yarns,
like right now now, I mean, we're put him in
this sleeper episode because consensus is lower on him, but
he's my RB thirteen and ranks. Now. Draft capital could
knock him down because of the small school, because of
all those things, and a deep running back class. If
he goes round five, round six, then e but it

(11:16):
only takes one team. And I love the talent of
this guy. He reminds me so much. And I know
this is being a little bit hyperbolic considering what he's
done in the NFL and stuff, but if everybody, if
we all be kind of rewind and remind yourself of
a speedy, slasher back that can break tackles and is
really good in as a pass game weapon the player
that as a prospect, I really see a lot of

(11:38):
James Cook in his game, and you look at the analytics,
this guy is a true pass game weapon like eighteenth
and nineteenth and yards per route run over the last
two years. And that's amongst all FBS and FCS running
backs with at least twenty targets. And again same sample
of the running backs with at least one hundred carries
on both sides of the aisle for FBS and FCS

(12:01):
twenty second in yards of the contact per attempt. So
the small school numbers are playing up boys. The kid
can play, and he really showed out a good bit
inmobile at Senior Bowl, Jake.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
If you're looking for pass catching running backs, right, the
rumors are that the Patriots are searching for their next
version of that James White kind of guy. Could Yarns
be that?

Speaker 2 (12:21):
It's funny. I actually have Yarns a tear higher than
Todge Brooks, so I'm in on Yarns. I actually ran
out of comps to like, I was just thinking of
all these passing down backs, so I just called them
Bursty mcthird downer. There you go, like, that's just I
didn't even have a comp for him. It's just that's
I love Yarns because that's just I see that being
a timeshare piece.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
And yeah, it sounds like a fake idea. It sounds
like mcgloven, like something that's gonna go on a fake ID.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
Jake totally tried to buy some sort of like Jaegermeister
with that ID. Years old there, that.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
Is, you know, true story. I got carted when it
was thirty six, so just yesterday, Yeah, only a few
years ago.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
That's sweet, that's sweet, you're old.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
Oh cute.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
Everybody knows it all right. Before we get to number

Speaker 1 (14:32):
Jake Seely, Let's crown another sleeper here, number three on
your list.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Yeah, I'll bring up the comp I saw from people
on this one, and I don't think it's quite enough
for him. Like people kept saying Corderio Patterson, and I
think that's unfair because I think that limits his passing
game upside, which I think is receiving upside is even better,
is saving on Williams. I actually think that I kind
of thought like a taller Curtis Samuel like, and that's
why I called them Cordero Samuel. So I just think

(14:59):
that the Curtis Samuel production that we saw at like
his peak, obviously is what that savion could bring. Now,
of course there's questions that we see all this ability
he catches fifty to fifty balls with ease, great after
the catch, but his production really hasn't matched what we
see from him as a talent standpoint, So of course
as a concern with that, especially given his age. But
this is why these are sleeper options here. You know,

(15:21):
we love to see him a little bit more consistent
on his receptions. But the the athleticisms, the size, the
after the catchability, the reason that court Old Patterson comps
are being made a court of Samuel for me, I
think that's the upside where you can talk about a
wide receiver.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
Three.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
He could be drafted on Day three, might go on
Day two, but that could be fine on the right
team that wants to use him as such and use
him to get the ball in his hands. And again
that's what we're talking about with a lot of these players.
Find him on the right team. I think Savion Williams
could be an interesting after the draft pick.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
So Savion on a TCU guy. He played with Hoover
as his quarterback, and Hoover said a new TCU single
season record for passing yards thirty nine forty nine for him.
You see curiosity a debro out of Savion Williams because
obviously this was a TCU team that was not afraid
to throw the football.

Speaker 3 (16:07):
I mean, a guy that's a Swiss army knife. A
lot of what Jake outlined, dude, I want to see
him go to And I think two of the two
diagrams of how you use this player is where Deebo
Samuel used to be and where Deebo Samuel is now.
Send him to the forty nine ers or the Commanders
and ask him to be the Swiss army knife. Nothing more,
nothing less. Use him on screens, use him versus his

(16:28):
own and just ask him to be exactly who he is.
And then we're talking about oh wow, like we're excited
about Savion Williams because if you look back in history,
the Quardo Patterson model, the Leaviscus Channault model, Like the
NFL has told us, outside of maybe these two teams,
they don't know what the heck to do with this model,
But in those two offenses, with as much screens as

(16:50):
they run and then how they design things, I'd be
very excited for Savion.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
Yeah, Leaviscus Chanalt another guy too, like what could have
been maybe perhaps with more usage or the right usage.
Let's get to number three on your list, Derek Brown,
Who is it?

Speaker 2 (17:04):
It is?

Speaker 3 (17:04):
Brishard Smith running back out of SMU. And for everybody
that's coming into the rookie process and doesn't know the
entirety of his tail and his path to the draft,
Brichard Smith was a slot receiver at Miami for multitude
of seasons and then goes transfers to SMU final years,
moves to running back. Had no previous play at running back,

(17:24):
even at high school, and he crushed it. Guys in
his final year thirty fourth and breakaway percentage top twenty
four yards per route run and receiving grade as a player.
That my comp for him is job at best. If
everybody wants to again going back in the time machine,
a little bit true pass game weapon like Brishard Smith.
The wide receiver stuff shows up all over his tape.

(17:46):
You can line up in the slot out wide. He
could run a multitude of routes out of the backfield.
All we need is draft capital. Man, this guy is
lightning in a bottle. He ran a four to three
nine and it is real on his tape at the combine.
Just give me a round four draft capital people, please,
NFL give me that because he's my RB nine. I
love the talent. We just got to see a team
invest in him.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
This was a truck and field guy, wasn't he? The
Olympics of memory serves.

Speaker 3 (18:09):
Oh, I have to go back in the way back
machine at the right now made.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
My mind could be you know, go google that while
we get ready for Jake's next guy here, because his
brother is already established in the NFL, and certainly his
younger brother has a fair amount of talent. So let's
talk about the littler ATN.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
Yeah, and I do like Smith, by the way, so
we were agreement on that one. I like Trevor et
In more than most. This is one kind of the
opposite end of TODJ. Brooks is I feel like Trevor
ETN and it's going to take the right team if
he's drafting on day three. I never said this goodbye,
but I think that Trevor Antien on the right team.
I kind of said that Kenneth Gainwell or Devin Singletary

(18:50):
mish Matt, So Devin Gainwell is that you know, it's
not overly exciting, like, oh my god, I gotta get
Devin Singletary in all my teams. But like when he's
still he's kind of like that just above average player,
And that almost sounds like a slight It almost sounds
like I'm coming after my own player here. But like
I like his cuts, I like his speed, I like
how he weaves through traffic. He doesn't have the best size,

(19:12):
he's not an exceptional pass catcher. He's just kind of
like he's better than replacement by a decent enough margin
that if he's on a team that gives him forty
percent of the work. Hell, maybe even a lead like
Singletary had for a while, where sixty percent of the
work on the right team, he could have value in fantasy.
Of course, like I said, he ends up a third
option on a team, then this completely goes out the window.

(19:33):
But I just have some hope that people saw that
Etn can be that guy.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
So was I correct about Java Best?

Speaker 3 (19:40):
You were? Joey you were apparently was one hundred meters
champion broke like ten point two. He was actually competing
in the twenty sixteen Summer Olympics.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
I remember, I remember.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
I'll give you.

Speaker 3 (19:55):
Congress sometimes.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
One of my longest friends in high school coaches track
and field and on the same team. He coached two
Olympians who have won gold medals, by the way, but
the third person on one of his teams one year
was Ashton genty running track and field the same team
as well.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
Yeah, yeah, hey, I got a bunch of kids that
I coach. Now, it's funny how many of them, like
the young football kids, are just running track as part
of their stuff now, like it's like part of their routine.
They run track, they play flag in the spring, they
play tackle in the wind in the fall, and it's
just like part of this you know East Coast swing
that you do keeps him going. Going back to at
n though for a second, here de bro he is

(20:33):
five nine two h five or at least listed as such.
He is a smaller back, and he concerns with him
in terms of durability at the NFL level.

Speaker 3 (20:40):
No, not for me. I mean I think that Jake
hit the nail on the head here. I like Etan
the way that he runs and stuff. I look at
him as a player. He reminds me of some of
the similar, very different players, but similar thoughts of what
I thought about Cody Schrader coming out last year as
a player, that coaches are going to love him, like
in the Bill, and because they know what they're going

(21:03):
to get out of him in the sense that good vision,
he's maximizing every single run and you see the acumen
play up. Man. He's not the most like physically skilled
and gifted guy, but every carry he gets, if there's
five yards blocked, he's probably getting six or seven. So
while it might not look like the highlight reel and
all these different things, could he walk into a situation

(21:25):
there's a few injuries and him he gets a cup
of coffee as a starter. My calm for him, and
again similar thoughts to Jake was Kenneth Dixon.

Speaker 1 (21:34):
Okay, there you go, so some comps there for those guys.
Let's get to number two on your list and let's
just stay in Florida. It'll be easier on our miles.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
Dude, I got to talk about a guy that I
haven't heard talked about a lot this process. And this
isn't just bringing up players that are deeper in rankings
just to bring them up. But Elijah Badger has not
been discussed nearly enough. And now we've brought him up
on the NFL Draft Show, but in the consensus, and
I want to put respect on his name. If I'm
including Travis Hunter in my rankings, Elijah Badger's my wide

(22:03):
receiver ten in this class. And if you if you
look at his game, there's reasons for it. Guys like
not only did he go to the Combine he tested well,
but you look at how his college career unfolded. He
goes to Arizona State in twenty twenty two, twenty twenty three.
He's an underneath weapon and he's really stinking good at it.
Like in twenty twenty two, third amongst all wide receivers

(22:25):
and miss tackles force twenty twenty three, thirteenth in yak
per reception seventh and miss tackles force. Then he transfers
to Florida, and Florida says, you're really good at all
that stuff, but we're not going to play you in
that role. You're going to be our field stretcher. So
good luck with that. And he goes out and he
excels in it. In twenty twenty four fourteenth in yards

(22:46):
per route run ninth and receiving greade against man coverage
fourteenth in yards per run against man coverage. So he
checks a ton of analytical boxes. He's played multiple roles
in college and succeeded at them. He tested well. I mean,
the only thing on his profile that's concerning is in
twenty twenty three he had a back injury. But for me,

(23:08):
people are like, are the medicals going to check out?
He already had proof of concept, like he played the
twenty twenty four season and he was healthy, so the
back injury is not even a concern. I know that
he's getting mocked in a lot of places where round five,
round six, round seven, UDFA, all that kind of stuff.
I think NFL circles are going to be higher on
this kid than we are in the general media consensus.

(23:30):
I will be surprised if he gets his name called
in round three or round four. The NFL draft.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
Jake was interesting. As Deebro's talking, I'm watching some of
the highlights of Badger too, and exactly what Derek said.
He was the field stretcher guy there in Florida. So
for a guy that some people projecting late rounds maybe UDFA,
do you think the Badger is actually maybe a sneakier
guy in the NFL scout profile.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
So I thought having him inside my top thirty was sneaky.
So actually, yeah, he definitely said hole my beer on
that one. I hope Debro is right on this one.
I do have some concerns. I think he can kind
of like lose track of himself on the field, both
running into coverage and at bounds on time, he pushes
the boundary on himself. That's what my concerns were, and

(24:19):
then body catches too often. But like kind of all
the good that Debro said is the good and this
is how you know how drunk I was at this
point of my mashups, I went with Christian Whittington with
extra hs because of how he spells his name, So
I have like five h's in his name, just because
after everybody in there, yeah there is, it's actually c

(24:43):
H R H and then w H I H. So
Christian Christian Kirk slash Jordan Winnington, I think he's in between.
It sounds like Debro's more on the pot, like the
high end of Christian Kirk, which I could see happening,
like Christian Kirk went on the field is productive. Christian
Kirk has a thousand yards. Jordan Winnington has hit yet,
but I kind of see those and I could see

(25:03):
him being a witting ten and never hitting. I could
see him being a Kirk. So I'm kind of more
in the middle. This is what I would be rooting for,
though I'm be rooting that Debros right and I'm wrong
on this one. I would love to see it.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
Well, we're usually just hoping the debo's wrong, but on
this kind of situation, we want to be right doubt
as much as possible you can. All Right, Before we
get to the number one guy on each of Jake's
and Debro's lists. Don't forget if you're trying to get

(25:53):
all right, this is what you've been waiting for. The
number one sleeper in the NFL draft for Fantasy Jake
Seey take it away. What's his name?

Speaker 2 (26:01):
What's his name? His name is Jack Besh. I actually
think that he is one of the best receivers in
the draft at route running. I think he has some
of the best hands in the draft. I think he's
immediately ready to step into the NFL and be a
big slot. But I don't think that he's only limited
to that. Some people, I agree, can think he can
play outside as well. The funny thing is because of

(26:23):
also who he is, what's the easy comp that people
are making, because you know what people do when they
see it Adam. Then I actually went further back. Unfortunately,
the first player I thought of is in the same bucket.
Like as much as I just made that joke, the
first player I thought of was actually Jordy Nelson. So
like I'm going to say, so, I'll give you another
Kja Osborn's a little bit different too, So there you go.

(26:46):
He's Kay Jordi Thelen How about that? I think that
was on that skit too. It was with Aron Well.

Speaker 1 (26:56):
Perfect example though, Ja, because Adam Thielen was an undrafted guy,
right people, you.

Speaker 2 (27:02):
Know Besch will be drafted, will be drafted.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
So if you're talking about landing spot for a player
of his skill set, is there a team that you
had in mind or maybe two years saying okay, they
can get the most out of this player.

Speaker 2 (27:13):
Oh you have the best. I just saw Deebro's eyes
light up.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
Are you? I have to say one?

Speaker 2 (27:20):
If I was gonna say I had a couple that
I'm kind of like, yeah, it could work, But I
just let deebro go because he's one specifically, but who's
the specific I've.

Speaker 3 (27:30):
Got two really good landing spots. It's either Jacksonville or Chicago. Dude,
he's got such a dog in him. He is going
to be a clubhouse guy and would be awesome. He'd
fit perfectly for both of those teams.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
It's off the screen here by Brian Thomas. Football Jersey
here or football. Sorry I don't know. I say Jersey,
but my football is right behind me. I told you
I I love and hate that at the same time,
just because I want Brian Thomas to get one hundred
and fifty targets. So that's what I said. I don't
want to see Chicago happen. I'm actually I'm not with
you on that one like that, just because selfishly, I

(28:02):
don't think they need him for what dunes they could
do this year. So I kind of I was thinking.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
Honestly, like honest, somebody to get on the.

Speaker 3 (28:11):
He would be a great Patriots seventeen. I was that dude.

Speaker 2 (28:16):
I was gonna get my team, but he like just
stopped throwing out teams.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
Alright.

Speaker 5 (28:19):
I was gonna say, I was gonna say Patriots honestly,
because and I was going to make the joke, I
mean the Patriots and it's like the boom, your Patriots
have him, Joe, that's what you go.

Speaker 1 (28:31):
I was just going to recreate the dynasty here, hind
right over. IFS could be that guy, look all the
things you're talking about. When you look at the highlights,
it does pop off, There's no doubt about it. I
think the feeling comp is a good one, but I
think size wise he is a little bit closer to
Jordy Nelson. I could be wrong, just like looking at
him physically.

Speaker 2 (28:47):
I like Jordy Nelson's downfield more to best than I
do like what people will limit with feeling, and I
think feeling was just an easy crutch comparison people made.

Speaker 1 (28:55):
Yeah, that Jordy Nelson might be a little bit better there.
All right, let's get to your number one guy. And
this is actually one we've given out on some of
the three round mock drafts that we've done here in
the channel. If you haven't seen any of those, go
watch them on the YouTube channel. They're very entertaining and
educational and clearly we're gonna get every single pick correct,
so we always do every single pick on all those
mock draft shows are always correct. So give us the

(29:15):
guy that you think is a deep SLEEPERD that really
could make a fantasy impact in twenty twenty five.

Speaker 3 (29:20):
I think his name gets brought up some as we've
talked about. We've had him sneak into some third round mocks,
but I don't think his name is discussed nearly enough.
And he's my RB six of this class. People need
to put more respect on his name, and that's DJ Giddens.
He is so much fun to watch, tested really well
at the combine. He gets into the second level of

(29:41):
a defense and he does ridiculous things like can absolutely
put his foot in the ground and teleport two to
three yards to the left or right, and he creates yards.
It's I mean, you're just looking at the overall skill
set of DJ Giddens. He goes in round three, round four,
I mean plug and play three down back last year
six then breakaway percentage top twenty two in both elusive

(30:03):
rating and content yards out to contact per attempt. I
love his skill set overall, guys, I just don't think
he's discussed in the same light as all these other
guys and people talking about Quinn, Shawn Judkins, R J.
Harvey is getting a lot of love. You don't see
enough talk about DJ Giddens, And I think because of that,
I have to bring him up here as a sleeper,
because he's just not discussed in the same light or

(30:24):
consistently enough as all the other top five, top six,
top ten running backs in this class.

Speaker 1 (30:30):
Well, it's tough because it is a better running back class,
something we weren't used to last year. Right, last year
it was not the running back class this year, there's
so many names. Do you think that Giddons is just
more than anything Jake maybe potentially just a victim of
the group that he's with that he doesn't get this
much attention.

Speaker 2 (30:44):
I definitely think that's the case for a lot of them.
Actually have some comparisons to the ETN situation for me,
and not completely stylistically, just in the fact that I
see them more of like get a lot of yards,
get what they're supposed to do a little extra. But
he's never going to be that home run guy in
my opinion, which isn't a bad thing, Like not every
running back has to be that, and I don't see that.

(31:05):
I think that that's the one area he's lacking just
because of the game breaking speed, lacking a little bit
of my opinion, But again we're like nitpicking. What is
a class where a lot of these guys are going
to be up a tier two earlier before, like just
because of what they're in. So this one, I actually
didn't smash up. I just said David Montgomery. But we've
seen David Montgomery be a borderline RB one RB two

(31:27):
consistently on the right team and a time share, and
that's where I like it.

Speaker 3 (31:31):
I do.

Speaker 2 (31:32):
I don't have quite as high, but I'm not that
far behind Debro on this one. But on the wrong
team and a timeshare in a David Montgomery role, he'll
fall to an RB four, So he's going to need
the right team that trusts him to be a consistent
time share, even like what Jalen Warren has been.

Speaker 1 (31:46):
Yeah, landing spot means a whole lot for these guys.
But these are important names to know and to monitor
as you're watching the NFL Draft, and of course we
know you're gonna watch it here with us on Fantasy
pro SUS grabbed you the YouTube channel Join us seven
thirty Eastern Draft Night, myself, Derek Brown, Andrew Ers's gonna
