Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, everybody, Welcome into the Fantasy Pros Football Podcast. I'm
Ryan Warmley Joy and as I am every Friday morning
by Derek Brown and by Pat fitz Morris. We're talking
our key questions for the week three.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
It's late here. Quick reminder for everybody that all of our.
Speaker 1 (00:14):
Twenty twenty five consensus rankings and tears can be found
at fantasypros dot com slash rankings.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
Debro, how are you doing on this Friday morning?
Speaker 3 (00:22):
Do good, buddy. I'm happily energized. Man, the primer's out
and I can happily report that. In many years it's
you know, the weekly battle with the primer feels insurmountable.
But we get there and I'm feeling fresh and spry.
Two weeks in, Man, I'm here for it.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
Three week won't last, but that's but that's good for now.
Speaker 3 (00:41):
Yeah, week week ten, let's have the same conversation.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
Yeah, fits, how are you doing? I know you're trying
to get out here and go golfing.
Speaker 4 (00:49):
That's right, unseasonably warm weather in Chicago. So yeah, I'm
gonna sneak in a little nine holes at the course
next door. So the writing is to bed for the week.
I'm sure I'm gonna spending a lot of time on
Discord later today answering questions. I got to make those
injury updates. But yeah, I love having the writing done
for the week, and I am ready for weeks three.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
I won't be golfing, but it is unseasonably warm here
in Colorado too. It's like sixty right now, but by
the time we get to the afternoon, it's going to
be in the mid eighties, which feels weird from mid September.
But it is very sunny here, so that makes some
degree of sense. Yeah, I know Devro is really feeling
the empathy for us.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
Still cooking in Texas.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
Come talk to me with my mid nineties and high nineties. Yeah,
let's have a conversation.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
I could not have less interest in me.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
Let's jump into this late here, because we're still in
the time of year when we have every team playing
no bye weeks, so a lot to get through. We'll
start with game number one, Falcons at Panthers, and I
kind of struggle to put together a question for this
because I think generally we kind of have an idea
of where.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
The ball is going in for both of these teams.
For the most part.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
So I went to ask you just about two players
in general, who has a higher positional finish this week?
Tet Roe McMillan at wide receiver or Kyle Pitts at
tight end. Obviously we think McMillan is the better player,
but you know there's more wide receivers that you're competing with,
So I think this could end up being like a
number that is that are you know, close to each
other their respective finishes. So fits, I'll start with you,
Kyle Pits at tight end or Ted McMillan at wide receiver,
(02:21):
who finishes higher.
Speaker 4 (02:22):
I'll say Kyle Pitts because I think he has better
odds of a top ten finish than Teta Roan McMillan does.
Not that I'm down on McMillan. I have him ranked
wide receiver sixteen this week. He's been as good as
advertised eleven catches for one hundred and sixty eight yards
so far, but his matchup against the Falcons, Like, the
Falcons have a sneaky good pass defense, and I know
(02:43):
we're not used to saying that, Like Atlanta never has
a pass rush, but last week they sacked JJ McCarthy
six times. They quietly rank number two in DVOA and
pass defense, behind only the Green Bay Packers. So Pits,
on the other hand, real nice matchup. Panthers gave up
the most fantasy points to tight ends last season. They
(03:04):
gave up sixty five yards in a touchdown to the
Brenton Strange Hunter long combination in Week one, and Trey
McBride had six catches for ninety eight yards against him
last week. Pitts already as eleven catches as many as
Tetoha McMillan, so it hasn't done as much with them,
but I do think he's a top ten tight end
this week.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
What do you think, Debra, I mean, even before you
get into Tedro McMillan, do you also have Kyle Pitts
as a top ten tight end?
Speaker 3 (03:28):
I do. I'm a tight end ten. I think he's
an incredibly strong play. And this isn't just like talking
about the tight end position, but Pitts was an easy
answer here for me too. I think the other thing
like that I've been not shocked, but very happily surprised by,
is that Kyle Pitts has been a full time player
in the Atlanta offense. Considering what we saw last year
to close the season. You're talking about a fifty percent
(03:49):
snapshare player and him playing a full time role. He's
been extremely involved. The coverage matchup is also like fits
also like laid out that Caroline has been bad versus
tight ends, but the coverage matchup is fantastic for Pitts.
Like you want to start cal Pits and I talked
about this in the primer last week and this week.
Versus single high teams, Carolina Panthers are running single high
(04:11):
at fifty six point five percent of the defensive snaps
versus single high this year, and these numbers go back
to even last year. This is where Pitts eats man
like this year. He has a twenty eight point six
percent target share one point nine yards per route run
on a twenty five percent first read share versus single high. Yeah,
Kyle Pitts, week, saddle up, let's go.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
What do you expect?
Speaker 1 (04:29):
Adam McMillan debro Fit said he had him wide receiver sixteen.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Does that's not about right to you?
Speaker 3 (04:34):
Yeah, I've got him at wide receiver sixteen, I think,
and fits laid it out perfectly. The only thing I'll
add with the projection of Tedroo McMillan. I don't think
Aj Terrell plays this week. He's dealing with a believe
a hamstring injury, so that definitively does bump up Tedoro
McMillan for me this week.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
If Terrell is out, I think you guys are probably
making the right pick here in Pits, especially, like I said,
with their's fewer tight ends to be peting with for
a positional finish. But I kind of like, I just
have liked so much what I've seen out of McMillan
so far, Like obviously coming off this one hundred yard game,
like once he starts catching touchdowns, I'm kind of just
like ready for him to explode. And I don't know
that it'll be this week or anything, but I as
(05:15):
high as I was coming into the season, I feel
like I'm even higher on McMillan.
Speaker 3 (05:19):
I just I think, honestly, there's more meat on the
bone for Ted, Like his raw numbers look good, but
if you look at his market share stuff, like he's
not getting like a twenty eight percent target share. The
fact that Bryce Junk's passing so much is helping pad
some of the stats. I think they should be featuring
it even more in this passing offense even than they're doing.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Yeah, I agree with that.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
Let's go to game number two, Packers at Brown's. I
think we have a pretty good guess as to how
this game is gonna go for the Browns offense against
you know the way this Packer's defenses looked so far,
So let's focus on the other side. Cleveland has actually
played good defense this year. They totally shut down the
running game in Baltimore. Obviously, the Bengals usually start slow,
but the defense did the Bengals in Week one as
(06:01):
well when Joe Burrow was still healthy. So well, the
Cleveland's had a really good defense this year. The Packers'
offense maybe not on the same level as their defense.
It's been a well oiled machine so far. We now
have some injury question marks there that weren't there when
I created this question a couple of days ago. Earlier
in the week, Fitz, I'll start with you, just as
the Packers fan, you know, what do you expect out
of the battle, specifically of the Packers offense against the
(06:22):
Cleveland defense, especially now that there's this Tucker Craft injury.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
So before I answer this real quick story. My daughter,
the oldest of our two children, was born on a
Sunday morning, and on the day she was born, the
Packers played the Browns in Cleveland. It was Brett Favre
versus Trent Dilfer and lo and behold Trent dil for one.
He threw for three hundred and thirty six yards and
three touchdowns. Brown's tight end Steve Heyden had one hundred
(06:49):
and four yards and two touchdowns. Brown's won twenty six
twenty four. It was the first of their six wins
that season. The Packers went on and to have their
worst season since the nineteen eighties. They were four and twelve.
I didn't watch minute of that Packers lost to the Browns.
I was in a hospital room, and it's probably the
only Packer game I've completely missed since I was in college.
The reason I bring this up is that our daughter
(07:09):
just turned twenty yesterday. Yes, I'm a happy old day,
thank you. I'm an old man with the twenty year
old daughter. But I found it sort of interesting that
right after her twentieth birthday, the Packers are once again
playing in Cleveland. So will this game go better for
the Packers than the one in two thousand and five,
did man? I sure, hope. So I do think this
Green Bay defense is a little better than their two
(07:31):
thousand and five defense was. But can this Packers offense
move the ball and put up a lot of points
against a pretty good Browns defense? I think it might
be a struggle, honestly, Like Jordan Love is gonna be
without at least one of his pass catchers, possibly too,
like Jayden Reid Brook broke his clavigal last week, and
tight end Tucker Kraft sustained some sort of knee injury
(07:54):
in practice on Thursday. It's believed to be minor, but
it's not clear whether he's gonna play this week. So
the Green Bay passing game could be down a few weapons,
and Packers running back Josh Jacobs goes against a Cleveland
defense that's giving up two point one yards per carry
so far this season. So I think this could be
a pretty low scoring affair.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
De bro When you look at the Packers offense, do
you think that, hey, how do you think they're going
to do against this defense? And b do you think that, like,
let's assume, just for the sake of argument, that Craft
doesn't play or at the very least is limited. Do
you think that opens a door with Craft and read
possibly not there for Golden to kind of finally take
(08:34):
a step forward and get more of an opportunity.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
I don't see the Golden breakout game Like he's not
even a full time player. They're not utilizing him in
this offense. I do think that the Packers do. I'm
not going to say role in this one, but I
think we're kind of selling their passing offense a little
bit short. Like I think the fact that they've been
so run heavy, and if I'm Matt Lafleur and I'm
designing up the offensive game plan and how to attack
(08:57):
this defense, we need to lean into the pass and
we need to lean and put more on the shoulders
of Jordan Love, who guys, he's quietly playing amazing football.
Like amongst all quarterbacks, he's third, yards per attempt he's fourth,
and passer rating he's fifth in CPOE right now. The
fact that what's holding down all of his counting stats
is that he's twenty seven then dropbacks. This is the
(09:19):
game in the matchup to ratchet up the passing volume. Yes,
like not having Tucker Craft is not great, but they
still have Luke Muskgrave okay, and he's healthy right now
from all reports, so they can get production out of
the tight end position. But even though the wide receivers,
you still got don Tavian Wich, You've still got Romeo Dobbs,
you still have other guys on that depth chart that
are incredibly talented and could beat single high coverage, which
(09:42):
is what you need to do. So Cleveland, like their
run defense has been amazing, the pass defense quietly hasn't
been awesome. Like they've allowed the second most passing touchdowns
and the fourth highest pass rating. So while I I'm
worried about Josh s Jacobs, like can he get there
on volume and touchdowns? Absolutely sure. But if I'm the floor,
(10:02):
you lean into the passing game, dude, like you you
unleash shortan love, feed some more volume of this passing attack,
and I think you have the weapons to sit here
and have a really good game.
Speaker 4 (10:10):
And just to be clear, we don't know for a
fact as we record this a Tucker Craft is out,
They're gonna.
Speaker 3 (10:15):
Kind of assume he's not gonna play, like with this
getting announced, like you would think, yeah, Like they're being
extremely like Cloak and dagger like, oh, it's a it's
a tweak, it's his knee.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
We don't, I mean, it's not that bad.
Speaker 3 (10:26):
But no other kind of details, at least as you know,
recording this.
Speaker 4 (10:30):
As as we record this Friday morning, we just don't
have full clarity.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
Yeah, fits, I think the last time I looked the
line was eight and a half. Given your history with Packers,
Browns and daughter birthdays, would you take the Brown side
of that?
Speaker 4 (10:46):
H In the pool I'm in where I have to
pick every game against the spread, I've taken the Packers
just because I can't see the Browns offense really doing
anything this week.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
Yeah, I mean despite the injury stuff, and despite how
well the Browns defense is played. Yeah, it's just hard
to believe coming off of the first It's only the
first two weeks, but I mean, the Packers look like
the best team in football through the first two weeks.
The Browns maybe looks better than people had him, you know,
estimated to be this year, but they are still the Browns,
and the offense still is all bad.
Speaker 4 (11:16):
And when Flacco gets pressure, he commits turnovers.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
Yeah, I can't imagine the Browns short of getting a
lucky like short field that helps them. I can't imagine
them getting to double digit points in this year.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
You remember that we were living in that world of
the end of draft season where everybody's posting the last
sixteen games, splits of Joe Flacco and talking about he's
better than people realize and blah blah blah blah blah
blah blah.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
And there will be no Joe fla this podcast.
Speaker 4 (11:41):
I mean he.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
But because they only freaking passed the ball. It's volume, right,
It's ugly volume.
Speaker 1 (11:49):

Speaker 1 (13:37):
All right, guys, next game here, Texans at Jaguars. A
couple of disappointments on both teams so far this season.
For fantasy. Who is more likely to have a big
day to make up for that slow start? Nico Collins
or Brian Thomas Junior Debro Who are you picking?
Speaker 3 (13:51):
I'm going to take Nico, but I'm going to be
very transparent about this. I don't feel great about either
one of these guys, like did this. Jacksonville pass defense
is much better than people I think thought it was
going to be entering this season. CJ. Stroud has continued
to look pretty bad, and Brian Thomas Junior is probably
gonna see shadow coverage from Derek Stingley. So I don't
(14:12):
feel great about either one of these guys. I'll go
with Nico, but again, you're running them out there, but
my confidence level is not high for either one.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
Where do you have them ranked respectively?
Speaker 1 (14:24):
This week?
Speaker 3 (14:26):
I mean did? I still think like they're gonna get
a ton of volumes. So like I've got Nico as
a wide receiver one, I've got Brian Thomas Junior as
a top fifteen wide receiver, although I'm kind of I'm
probably gonna revisit the primer. I'm gonna write him up
and I'm probably gonna drop him in ranks a little bit,
like the vibes and Jacksonville are bad and Derek Stingley
is freaking awesome.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
Nico's wide receiver eight in the Expert Consensus rankings. Thomas
is still wide receiver eleven in the Expert Consensus rankings,
So they're both inside wide receiver one range fits who
do you like better.
Speaker 4 (14:56):
I also have Nico franked higher. I'm one behind ECR
both guys Unlike Debro. I think I might have BTJ
ranked too high. I'm worried about that Stingley matchup. I'm
less worried about Nico overall for the season, although I
am kind of terrified that that Houston offensive line just
short circuits everything they're trying to do with the passing game.
(15:18):
It's still really bad.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
I want to throw just some like starter hit decisions
your guys away with these names that I didn't prep
you for, So just kind of shooting from the hip here,
but just names that are close to them in ECR.
Would you rather start Debro, Nico Collins or Za Flowers?
Speaker 3 (15:33):
Say? Not even close?
Speaker 2 (15:35):
Same for you fits.
Speaker 4 (15:36):
No, I'm still starting Nico. It is close.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
I Brian to Oh, go ahead, how about Brian Thomas
Junior or DeVante Adams Fitz Adams?
Speaker 4 (15:44):
Oh? Sorry, that's okay. As of now, I've got BTJ
ranked higher, but that might change.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
Admittedly, the reason I didn't ask you Devro is because
I knew your answer was going to be Devanta Adams.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
I didn't need to ask you that one.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
Well, let me ask you this that Devro just cooking
on Thomas and we'll move on and like, because I
want to see kind of how far this potential drop
for you will go. So some of the names after
Adams in ECR, Mike Evans, Romadunza, Garrett Wilson, Lad McConkie, A. J. Brown,
are those all names you would consider over Brian Thomas
Junior or does he belong in that group?
Speaker 3 (16:15):
I think AJ Brown is the one that stands out
that people could be surprised about. But I we'll get
through it here in a little bit. I think AJ
Brown is going to have a really big day, so
I'll definitely take him. Him versus Mike Evans is all
is a very interesting conversation because Mike Evans might get
shadow coveraged from Sauce, So both these guys may be
(16:36):
going to see shadow coverage from two of the top
corners in the NFL. Although Baker seems like he does
not care and Buka is banged up, so it's pro
I'm still going to force the ball to him, so
but I still take Evans.
Speaker 1 (16:48):
I had a second question on this game, basically the
same question, but just for the quarterbacks instead of the receivers,
So who's more likely to have a big day?
Speaker 3 (16:55):
C J.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
Stroud or Trevor Lawrence Debro Trevor Lawrence.
Speaker 3 (16:58):
I mean, so this kind of goes back to CG.
Stroud has been struggling, Like right now, he's thirty four
qualifying quarterbacks, he's thirty third in CPOE, he's twenty seventh
and highly accurate throw rate, and he's twenty eighth in
catchuble target rate. Like so they're doing a lot of
bad things in Houston right now. Like I think Nick
(17:18):
Keyley is honestly a terrible oc Like playing Xavier Hutchinson
and Justin Watson over your two talented rookies is blasphemous.
It's ignorance. But even just talking about how he's playing
in the quarterback The other thing about Trevor Lawrence man
is this Houston pass defense is not playing up to
the standard. I think we all thought that we were
(17:39):
gonna see entering the season, Like their middle of the
pack and almost everything that I look at, they've allowed
the twelve highest pass rating in their pass rush hasn't
been good. And this is I mean, the Buccaneers were
trotting out like a ragtag makeshift offensive line that was
banged up injured and still Texans or twenty second in
pressure rate. I don't think anybody saw that coming. So
(17:59):
I think it's gonna be a better day for.
Speaker 2 (18:00):
T law Fitzy, do you like better at quarterbacks Stroud?
Speaker 4 (18:05):
Like, I still think that Texans are a tough matchup.
They will crank up that pressure rate deeper with Will
Anderson and Daniel Hunter, Like, I'm not worried about that,
and also like Stroud has been terrific against the Jaguars
early in his career. In four career starts against Jacksonville,
Stroud has averaged two hundred and ninety two point eight
passing yards with seven touchdowns and no interceptions. Like he
(18:28):
just he owns the Jaguars.
Speaker 1 (18:30):
Man, Let's go to Bengals at Vikings battle of the
backup quarterbacks? Which offense has a better day Minnesota under
Wentz or Cincinnati under Browning? Fits will start with you
on this.
Speaker 4 (18:42):
I'm gonna say Wentz so us Bank Stadium in Minneapolis
is just one of the hardest places to play in
the league for visitors, and the Vikings just laid a
complete egg at home last Sunday night, losing twenty two
to six to the Falcons. I doubt a team as
well coached as Minus Soda with Kevin O'Connell and Brian
Flores plays two really bad games in a row at home,
(19:06):
and I suspect they're going to be breathing fire this week.
Flora's is gonna dial up all sorts of blitzes against
Jake Browning. We know that, and Browning's a good backup,
but coming in cold and seeing that kind of pressure
in a loud stadium where the blitzers are flying from
unpredictable places, like, I think it's gonna be a tough
day for the Bengals.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
What do you think? Do you?
Speaker 3 (19:28):
Bro?
Speaker 2 (19:28):
You're based on your audible reaction, maybe you disagree.
Speaker 3 (19:31):
I just have a hard time believing in Carson Wentz,
like I believe in KOC and I believe in Minnesota.
But it's hard for me to get behind.
Speaker 1 (19:39):
I was gonna say, is Carson Wentz any worse than
pre Minnesota Sam Darnold, I mean, it's a joke of
a quarterback?
Speaker 3 (19:46):
Come on?
Speaker 4 (19:46):
Or how about JJ McCarthy the first three weeks?
Speaker 3 (19:48):
I know this is dude. I mean, let's have an
honest conversation that Minnesota offensive line is not playing well. Well,
they're getting Carson Wentz is gonna gonna play well behind
that offensive line. Derisi Darrisaw is back, Like yeah, it's better,
but yeah, all still gonna be without their center. Their
guards have played horribly, Like.
Speaker 4 (20:07):
Caveat All bets are off for me on the Vikings
offense being better if Darisad doesn't come back and they
don't have him to help block Trey Hendrickson.
Speaker 3 (20:15):
Yeah, Like I mean, like this this is kind of
for me. It's I don't have a lot of faith
in Carson Wentz. Like the last two starting opportunities we've
seen from him, Like, dude, he's had five point seven
yards per attempt, six point seven yards per attempt, he's
had highly accurate throw rates of thirty five percent and
sixteen percent. Like that's terrible. So I mean, like if
(20:37):
we want to put this all at the feet of
Kevin O'Connell saying hey, QB whisper whispers some nice things
in his ear, like sure, Like I'm I'm here for that,
but I'm gonna go browning for this, and like, look,
I'm not saying he's gonna have an amazing day against
Brian floor Is in that defense, Like I think, I
think it could be rough, but for Jake Brian and
there's some Jamis wins. Then here man, Like, we're gonna
get a lot of like passing volume. He's gonna have
(20:59):
a lot of like really head scratching plays, but he's
also gonna have a ton of volume. He's got two
of the best wide receivers in the NFL, and we
have seen I mean the last time we saw him
as a starter, dude, like he was a KBI seven
and Fantasy points per game. Like, So I'm gonna lean
on Jake Browning and the supporting cast. I think this
is a really interesting conversation in the sense of you
(21:19):
have two really good supporting casts questionable offensive lines. It
really comes down to who do you think supporting cast
plays up better? Like considering the quarterback play, I'm gonna
trust Cincinnati a little bit more than Carson Wentz. Well.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
The other piece of the puzzle is the defense which
fits hit on and I a backup in Minnesota against
Brian Flores, you know, worries because because remember the question
isn't like which quarterbacks, which offense has a better day.
Speaker 2 (21:48):
I was gonna. I think Jordan Mason will run, will.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
Run on on the Bengals, and so if Jordan Nyson
has a monster day is then they're gonna take the
ball out of the hands of Carson Wentz and we're
gonna try to agree.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
Yeah, I mean sure, Yeah, I mean I agree it
is in the question is which offense has a better day.
Speaker 4 (22:03):
No question. I think it's in Kevin O'Connell's best interest
to try to hide Carson Wentz as much as possible,
and I think that means like twenty plus carries for
Jordan Mason.
Speaker 1 (22:12):
Yeah, I'm it's less that I'm like really gung ho
about the Minnesota offense and this one and more than
like I am nervous about Browning in this particular scenario
where the game is being played the defensive coordinator is
going against that just worries me more.

All right, guys, Next game, Steelers at Patriots. The Steelers
have allowed thirty plus points in both games this season.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
Debro. Are they a defense to target when making lineup decisions?
Speaker 3 (23:15):
Yeah, I mean at this point, man, Like I just
I've had a hard time, like reconciling how much talent
they have on this side of the ball and how
horrible they have played. Like it's it's been kind of
shocking to see, Like I mean, Joey Porter being hurt
I think definitely plays into this. But the run defense
(23:35):
has been horrible that like you still have Jalen Ramsey
and Darius Slay. They look like they can't they can't
tackle anybody, they can't stop anything ready through the air,
they can't stop any rushing attack. Like, Yeah, this is
one of the defenses. Like, if you were to ask
me pre week one, what's the defense that I'm gonna
be scared to play, uh to raw or plug in
players against, in lineups against, I would have told you
(23:58):
the Steelers would have been like a top five name
on that list of like, oh, I'm frightened about this.
And after two weeks, I'm like, bro, just start everybody.
I guess like they've forgotten how to play defense, Like
is this the I mean, dude, I don't want to
say this is the beginning of the end of Mike Tomlin,
but I mean, come on, man, like for a hard
nosed coach and stuff like that, and like this defense
(24:18):
is playing as terribly as they are, it's.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
Tough to watch. What do you think fits?
Speaker 4 (24:24):
Steelers? Beat writer Mike Defabo pointed out this week that
the Steelers have the highest paid defense in the league
by almost twenty four million dollars, so fans in Pittsburgh
have not been getting their money's worth. So far. The
Steelers have given up the third most yards and the
fourth most points. But I don't think the Steelers are
a defense we're going to be picking on in fantasy,
(24:45):
Like they're banged up. Debro said at their best cornerback
Joey Porter Junior the hamstring injury. Alex high Smith, a
key linebacker, has a high ankle sprain. With no high Smith,
opponents can basically just run away from TJ. Watt and
then like you got my guy from my other guy
from Wisconsin, Nick Herbig on the other side. Her Big
is a banshee off the edge, but he's also kind
(25:06):
of undersize, so you can run at him a little bit.
And Steelers have been letting a lot of big pass
plays go up the middle, especially, So Yeah, I mean,
the Pittsburgh D has some issues right now, but I
don't think it'll be this bad all year, So.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
You do think they'll they'll kind of figure.
Speaker 4 (25:23):
Outde Like, yeah, like, we're not going to be hope,
So we're not going to be licking our chops like
when we've got a running back going against the Steelers
like in Week ten. That's just not going to happen.
Speaker 1 (25:33):
Okay, I have a second question on this game. Really,
I mean, I feel like we just kind of have
to talk about Henderson. We all want Treveon to be
the man in this backfield, but Romandre Stevenson had a
much better Week two the very least, and obviously has
been getting like the usage. So Deebro, ask you first,
where are you ranking the two Patriots running backs this week? Again,
I'm kind of curious to see, like what the gap
(25:54):
is between them.
Speaker 3 (25:55):
Uh, Remandre is RB nineteen for me, and Trevion is
RB thirty six. Remandre owns the backfield, dude, Like he's
at sixty five percent of the snaps and back to
back games. I don't see that changing, Like, do you
think Mike Rabel is going to take the ball out
of his hands to put it into the rookies' hands
considering they've put up points. Remandre has quietly been extremely good,
(26:20):
Like amongst fifty qualifying backs, this dude is eighteenth and
explosive run rate and fourteenth in yards oft to contact
for attempt. So I don't think this is the breakout
Travion game. Maybe it is and he breaks like a
long run and stuff like that, but I don't think
the backfield is gonna like shift in his favor this week.
Speaker 1 (26:38):
So Fitzdebro is roughly in line with consensus on Traveon Henderson,
he is well ahead of consensus. On Ramandre Stevenson by
ten spots. He's Army twenty nine.
Speaker 3 (26:49):
He's rby nineteen at Fantasy points per game, So I'm
just putting respect on his name.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
So what do you think Fit's.
Speaker 4 (26:54):
Yeah, warm, you said we all want Traveon Henderson to
be the man in the backfield, and maybe my rankings
this week are sort of a product of that wishful thinking.
I've got Stevenson RB thirty and Henderson RB thirty one,
and I know the workload split suggests that the gap
should be bigger than that. You know, Stevenson has outsnapped
Henderson eighty five to forty four this season. Stevenson didn't
(27:16):
really do much in Week one, like twenty seven yards
from scrimmage, I think, but he had fifty four rushing
yards eighty eight receiving yards last week against the Dolphins.
Henderson still has that enticing big playability, but obviously the
odds of breaking off a big play shrinks with a
smaller snap count. And like, what's weird is that Henderson's
pass blocking has been an issue, even though he was
(27:39):
regarded as maybe the best pass blocker among all this
year's rookie running backs. But I guess what encourages me
with Henderson is that he's already got eight catches for
fifty four yards, Like he's getting usage in the passing game,
and for that reason, I think he's still playable this week,
if not completely bankable.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
All right, let's go to Rams at Eagles. You know,
for it being a game that's like a rematch of
a playoff matchup that was a really good game, you know,
last postseason. I feel like like this is kind of
a boring It's a boring game to think about in
terms of like start sit decisions, right, Like, I think
all of your line of decisions are largely pretty straightforward
on this, So I want to ask about the.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
Game from a betting angle.
Speaker 1 (28:23):
The spread is Eagles minus three and a half on
hard Rock bet, So I'm just curious which side you
guys like fits will start with you Eagles minus three
and a half. And then the same thing on the total,
which is forty four and a half. Are you going
over or under? And then lastly, if there are any
player props.
Speaker 4 (28:35):
You like, yeah, the line in total both seem really
spot on. So I'm not betting this game, but in
that pool where I have to pick every game. I
reluctantly took the Eagles to cover the three and a half.
Only thing I really like for player props, and I
actually don't know if I'm going to bet this, but
I was looking at Tyler Higbee under twenty two and
a half yards, like the Eagles are just good against
tight ends and Higbee just does not strike me as
(28:58):
any sort of, you know, integral part of the game
plan for the Rams.
Speaker 1 (29:03):
I won't hold you to it as an official bet,
but if you had to pick over under the total,
would you do you have a direction.
Speaker 4 (29:10):
I go over. I mean McVeigh knows what he's doing,
and I kind of think that the Eagles offense is
going to get untracked pretty soon.
Speaker 2 (29:18):
Here not an official bet recommendation from fits, but I'm
for to make recommendation.
Speaker 3 (29:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:24):
Yeah, So the same three questions to ud Bro Eagles
minus three and a half, is the spread totals forty
four and a half, and then any player props you.
Speaker 3 (29:32):
Like, I'm not touching the spread or the total if
I had to take one of them. I actually think
the Rams are alive to win this game, and I
would I would bet the over on the total. But yeah,
I mean, I think they're both really good lines and stuff.
The player prop I want to mention here, man like
AJ Brown over sixty one and a half receiving yards
(29:53):
at hard rock bet this is minus one fifteen. I
think AJ Brown is going to have an eruption game
here man. Like you look at the coverage matchup ton
of single high like he last year versus a single high,
this dude had a thirty six percent target chair at
three point nine yards per route run. I know that
the box scores haven't lined up. You look at some
of the deeper analytics, like week one, it was very
(30:14):
concerning dude. Week two, this guy was third amongst all
wide receivers with at least like ten routes. He's third
in separation and first in route win rate. So the
talent is still there. And them losing a Kello Witherspoon
last week was huge in this game. Like tell me,
AJ Brown is not gonna moss freaking Emmanuel Forbes this week,
(30:37):
like Forbes has not been good in the secondary. This
pushes Darius Williams into the starting lineup. I am confidently
going to be firing up AJ Brown and with some
teams em betting the over for his receivers.
Speaker 4 (30:48):
Think about if that's the matchup. Think about those two
body types. AJ Brown looks like he was chiseled out
of granted he's a manual Forbes, is like felt like
a pretzel?
Speaker 3 (30:57):
Yeah? Yeah, so ajb over seeding yards. Let's go.

Next game here jets at Buccaneers fits with no Justin
Fields in week three? How are we ranking Breise Hall
and Garrett Wilson.
Speaker 4 (31:40):
I'm treating them the same way I would if Justin
Fields were healthy, Like Tyrod Taylor isn't bad. He came
in Cole last weekquent seven of eleven for fifty six
yards in a touchdown. Taylor put up respectable numbers when
he had to make some starts for the Giants in
twenty twenty three. Like, I know Taylor's ECR like QB
(32:00):
twenty nine, I don't know man against a pass funnel
Buccaneers defense, Like, I think he could have a decent game.
So I've got Garret Wilson wide receiver fourteen, Breese Haaw
RB eighteen.
Speaker 2 (32:14):
What do you think, debro I.
Speaker 3 (32:17):
I'm with FITSI on this man, like I've got I've
got Bree a little bit lower, Like right now, I've
got him at RB twenty. The matchup is pretty bad.
Like tam Bay is still stopping the run at a
high rate. I mean, he's really gonna have to get
there in the past game utility, but he's owned more
this backfield. I'm not worried about Garrett Wilson at all, man,
like I FITZI talked about, Like, Tyrod has played better
(32:38):
and I think he's gonna play better than people are
gonna give him credit. I've got him at wide receiver twelve.
And the other thing about this Tampa Bay Buccaneers pass defense,
they they haven't been great, man like. They've allowed the
ninth most passing yards, seventh highest yards per attempt in
the ninth highest success rate per dropback. I think Tyrod's
gonna put up some good numbers here, and I think
Garrett's gonna be perfectly fine.
Speaker 1 (33:00):
Let's go to Colts at Titans. I'm really curious to
see what you guys say about this one. Indies offense
is one of the kind of fun early surprises of
the season. So on a scale of one to ten,
how confident are you in this continuing? Both asking the
question for week three and then asking the same question,
scale one to ten, how confident are you in this
continuing throughout the rest of the season, because we have
(33:20):
seen in the pass like the Saints are a good
example last year, you know, dropping forty points each of
the first two games obviously completely fell off a cliff.
So I'm curious kind of what you guys think again,
both about this week's matchup and the long.
Speaker 2 (33:31):
Term outlook for the Colts offense. I'll start with you
fits on this one.
Speaker 4 (33:34):
So I'll give it a six for this week, but
for the full season, I'm only going to give it
a two. Like, the reason I'm cautiously optimistic about Jones
this week is that he has been getting great protection
from his offensive line, so that unit is really clicking
right now. He's had plenty of time to throw, and
he has only been sacked twice, even though the Colts
(33:56):
have faced a league high thirty seven blitzes this year.
So this is gonna be his first road game. Maybe
it's a little more challenging because of that, but the
Titans aren't, you know, a super imposing matchup long term, though,
I'm very skeptical of Daniel Jones. I mean, the guy
has forty seven interceptions and fifty fumbles in seventy two
(34:16):
career games, six point six yards per attempt for his career. Like,
he's capable of giving us a pleasantly surprising season like
he did in twenty twenty two. But it's not gonna
be this good all year.
Speaker 3 (34:29):
It's just not.
Speaker 4 (34:30):
I mean, like you said, three touchdown runs in two games.
Obviously he's not gonna run for twenty plus touchdowns this season.
Speaker 2 (34:37):
Yeah, I would think not.
Speaker 1 (34:40):
Daniel Jones is ranked as a QB one this week
in the expert consensus Rankingstebro, What do you think about
this matchup for the weekend?
Speaker 3 (34:46):
Then beyond I've got like a seven, maybe an eight
for this week just because I don't have any faith
in the Tennessee defense. You know, Devandre Sweat is banged up,
Lagerious Needs probably gonna miss this game. That definitely helps
Michael Pittman. I think Tyler Warren is gonna be fine.
So I think the Colts role in this one, but
the rest of the season yet, it's it is definitely
(35:10):
reasonable to be skeptical of this team. I mean, look
at the matchups. Daniel Jones is playing really good football,
but they're not asking him to do a lot outside
of like the system. You look at the upcoming matchups,
like they get the Rams, the Raiders, I mean, you
can have your way with the Raiders, but then they
get the Cardinals, the Chargers, Titans, Steelers, Falcons, Chiefs, Like
(35:31):
there's a lot of really good pass defenses in there.
So maybe Daniel Jones turns back into a pumpkin. So
probably like a five or four confidence rest of the season.
Maybe that's a little bit too generous. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (35:42):
What to say for rest of season?
Speaker 1 (35:44):
What's your interest debro in pass catchers on this team
not named Tyler Warren? Do you have a favorite that
stands out based on what you've seen the first couple
of weeks or are you just kind of avoiding.
Speaker 3 (35:55):
All of it because he's getting the target share and
he's gonna be used. Josh Downs isn't even a full
time player still in their offense now with Maybe that's injury,
maybe that's Tyler Warren. Maybe that's more, you know, two
tight end sets and what have you. But I think
Pittman and Ale Pierce has been a ghost. I mean,
he's honestly a bad archetype fit with Daniel Jlmes anyway.
(36:17):
So yeah, it's it's Pittman and Tyler Warren and JT
and the rest of them in.
Speaker 1 (36:23):
Pittman for you too, fits if you had the only
one besides Warren, only one? All right, let's let's go
to Raiders at Commanders. I put together this sheet a
little earlier this week, and it was still uncertain about
Jane Daniels, so I didn't really ask about that. It
does appear as of this morning that it's trending towards
him not playing. He's not on the practice field again
Friday morning, so you know, we would assume that he
(36:45):
is not in this game and it's Mariotta. But the
question I put together is on the Raiders side of things,
this is now two inefficient, unproductive outings from Ashton Genty.
I think we would mostly put the blame on the
guys around him in the offense for you know, not
blaming Genty himself as a player. But even if it's
not entirely his fault, I'm curious what your panic meter
level is if you drafted him inside the top fifteen
(37:07):
picks this season, just from what we have seen from
the offense around him.
Speaker 3 (37:10):
Debro, I'm not panicking just yet. It's been two games.
The offensive line has not played good at all. Like
they have the fifth lowest yards before contact per attempt,
like zero point four to nine. He's not even getting
a full yard in front of him of free space
before he has hit. He's getting hit a ton in
(37:31):
the backfield. I'm hoping the offensive line like can play better.
I mean, they're playing so bad right now. It's like, okay,
well for just hoping for just natural regression, they got
nowhere to go but up from here, so I think.
And the other thing is like you look at the matchups, like, yeah,
the Commanders this week, but the upcoming schedule does get
lighter where I think we could see better days. So
(37:53):
if anything, for genty, this is by low not panic.
They get the Bears, the Colts, and the Titans, all
three of those teams in the upcoming schedule. You can
run on all three of those teams. So we just
need Pete to stop like mixing in Dylan Lobby, Like
what are we doing here? Come on, Dylan Lobby is
a mere white, Like, no, just put more gent out there.
I get the pass pro stuff, like Rookie's going to
(38:13):
learn it, but can't learn it from sitting on the sideline.
Speaker 2 (38:17):
Fits what's your level on the panic meter?
Speaker 4 (38:19):
Just a three? And it's any panic I have is
entirely related to the offensive line, Like it is bad
that they're like dead last and adjusted line yards as
a run blocking metric, But it's only been two games.
In one of those games is against a pretty good
Chargers run defense, Like we're not at all unhappy about
the usage, even with those annoying Samir White and Dylan
(38:40):
Lobby touches like thirty carries and five catches so far
for Genty. I'll take that, so I don't think we
should be too worried.
Speaker 3 (38:50):
And James good. That's the other part about this, Like
if you're watching the games, he looks like you.
Speaker 2 (38:56):
It's not a reflection of him as a player.
Speaker 4 (38:58):
Not sure he makes Guys.
Speaker 1 (39:00):
I asked this debro on the Thursday Start Sit Show
and the guys were split. Who would you rather start
this week? Ashon Genty or Jordan Mason. Jake said Genty
and Fitz said Mason.
Speaker 3 (39:13):
Mason. It's the matchup and he's getting all the backfield
about ty Chandler, freaking cam Akers. It's Mason. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (39:21):
All right, Let's go to the late afternoon slate Eastern
time for Sunday, Broncos at Chargers. Two really good defenses
in this one. Pick one player on each offense that
you expect to outperform expectations this week fits you can
go first.
Speaker 4 (39:35):
I like Courtlin Courtland Sutton to bounce back from sort
of a quiet game last week four targets, just one catch,
six yards, but he was fine in Week one, nine
targets six for sixty one in a touchdown, So I
think he'll be fine again this week for the Chargers.
Actually got a I need help from my gig debro
since he's the matchup specialist here, Deebro, who do you
(39:56):
think Riley Moss is lined up against for most of
the game, because that's the matchup I want?
Speaker 3 (40:00):
Is it?
Speaker 4 (40:01):
Is it Keenan Allen?
Speaker 3 (40:02):
I think it's probably gonna be Keenan. Yeah, Keenan was
my pick here because I think certain is gonna get
is gonna fall a QJ looking at how the Chargers
of text single high and man coverage. So yeah, Keenan.
Keenan's my pick.
Speaker 2 (40:13):
Man is uh on the on the Broncos side though, Yeah,
I mean so.
Speaker 3 (40:20):
I'll flesh that out a little bit more Like Keenan,
I think he's gonna have a better game than people
are gonna give him. Like, first of all, like, can
we also say, like there's some disrespect in ECR and
stuff like this dude is the wide receiver twelve and
Fantasy points per game. I'm not saying that he should
be ranked as a wide receiver one, but in the
wide receiver three territory is kind of dismissive.
Speaker 4 (40:39):
He's got three more targets than the lad right now,
I know, and so.
Speaker 3 (40:44):
I mean like, and he's gonna keep getting the volume.
So I mean he's the guy if it's not QJ versus.
Because the two staples of the Denver defense are single
high coverage and man coverage. You're gonna get both of
those at least forty five percent of the day. If
it's not the ball's not going to QJ versus both
of the coverage structures, it's going to Keenan Allen. He
is the number two option in the passing attack against
(41:05):
single high am man coverage. People could be surprised by that,
but it's a fact. So I think Keenan Allen's gonna
have a really strong day. The other guy on the
other side I'm gonna pick here is Troy Franklin. And
I'm willing to say here that could we get the
rug poll from Sean Payton where we've seen this before,
We've lived this this reality before where we thought Troy
Franklin was a full time player. We lived in that
(41:26):
reality last year Week six through seven he played sixty
five and fifty percent of the snaps and then for
the rest of the season he didn't sniff higher than
a forty six percent snap rate for the rest of
the season. So could we get the rug pole. Fine,
that could happen, But we also need to talk about
this year is a little bit different for Troy Franklin
and that out the gate. He played fifty nine percent
(41:46):
of the snaps in Week one, eighty two percent of
the snaps in Week two. You look at the coverage
structure for the Bolts, too high heavy, and so far
this year Troy Franklin has eaten too high alive, Like
he's got a twenty two per target chair and a
thirty percent first reach here. I actually think this could
be a down game for Cortland Sutton in another good
game for Troy Franklin. But it's it's tough because we
(42:11):
just don't know if the usage is gonna like maintain
with Sean Payton because only got two games here fits.
Speaker 1 (42:16):
We talked about Franklin a little bit on the Thursday show,
but for those who missed it, what do you think
about him this week?
Speaker 4 (42:20):
Yeah, I mean I think he's a playable, like flex
level option. I mean, so far, the snaps and the
targets have been there. But like Deebro said, you always
worry about the rug pull and that you know, all
of a sudden, Sean Payton decides to play Pat Bryant
eighty percent of the snaps this week.
Speaker 1 (42:35):
Yeah, Yeah, let's go to Saints at Seahawks. Ken Walker
I had fewer carries than Zach Sharboney for the second
straight week, but unlike in week one, in week two,
he way outperformed Sharbonay. Predict what the backfield workload will
look like for both players here in week three, Debro, I.
Speaker 3 (42:53):
Mean, as of recording this right now, I don't even
know if Sharbonay plays. He's dealing with a foot injury.
He didn't practice on Wednesday or Thursday. So this could
be ken Walker wheels up like he could get the
sixty percent snap right Like, I think they're they're gonna
work in another running back here. I don't think it's
gonna be kN Walker eighty or ninety percent of the snaps.
(43:15):
I think Seattle is being very deliberate about how they're
ramping him up, how they're using him. But dude, we've
gotten Ken Walker that I thought we were gonna get
Kim Walker this year in the sense that like right now,
amongst thirty five qualifying backs. He is top fifteen in
yard such contact, PRETMP, explosive run rateness, tacklos force. He's
(43:36):
actually top seven and two of those metrics. So this
could be just a monster game for kN Walker.
Speaker 1 (43:45):
So I when I put I told you I put
together this sheet a little earlier in the week at
the time the are they playing too one Fantasy pros
how to hire odds for Charbonnay that has gone down
with the new information of you know, not practicing, you know,
throughout the week, that's down to a fifteen percent chance
to place. That's a good, good correction by you that
it probably won't be him on the field. We don't
know percent for sure as of recording this, but it
(44:06):
certainly has gone further in that direction of him not
playing this week. So I'll kind of pivot the question
for you, fits, assuming charbon is not on there, what
kind of game are you expecting out of Walker?
Speaker 4 (44:16):
A good one. Yeah, he has looked fantastic boy, the
second half of that game against the Steelers. I mean,
he just looked absolutely electric. So right now I have
Kenneth Walker ranked sixteenth, and that's with the expectation that
charbon Ay plays if man, if he's I think I'll
(44:38):
probably move him up to twelve if charbon A is out. Yeah,
Like I mean, I've got Josh Jacobs at ten, and
I had Devon a Chan at eleven and he's already played,
So I would probably slot in Walker right behind a
Chan ahead of Chase Brown.
Speaker 3 (44:56):
I'm moving him up right now, just assuming charbon is
going to be out. I have him at RB thirteen
right now.
Speaker 2 (45:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (45:02):
If if Charbona is one hundred percent out, I'm like
looking at you know, the expert consensus rankings, which is
funny because would definitely have him ahead of people Chase.
Speaker 4 (45:10):
People did not want to play Kenneth Walker after week one,
and now he's like going to be ranked as an
RB one potentially.
Speaker 3 (45:16):
So if you went and traded for him after people
freaked out week one, congrats.
Speaker 4 (45:20):
Just like I don't think people should be freaked out
about Sharboney after the bad game in week two. Like,
when he comes back, it's still going to be like
a fifty five forty five split in this backfield.
Speaker 3 (45:31):
Yeah, he's still going to stay involved. I think ken
Walker could take over the snap lead, but yeah, Sharbone
is probably still gonna have a role.
Speaker 2 (45:38):
I think Walker needs to be inside the top ten
if Charbona is out. Honestly, that's uh.
Speaker 1 (45:43):
I would expect a huge game out of him in
that scenario. All right, let's go to the next game here,
Cowboys at Bears. Rama Dunsday had by far the best
game of his young career last week? Was that the
breakout we've been waiting for fits and is it something
that we can expect to continue against a bad Dallas defense?
Speaker 4 (46:01):
Like I wouldn't be surprised if it continued. Like the
setup is great this week, a high Vegas total forty
nine and a half. Last I checked no Deron Bland
for the Cowboys, their best cornerback, and the Bears secondary
secondary is really injury riddled too, So you know, the
Bears are probably gonna have to throw to keep up
(46:21):
in this game. We're gonna see points in Chicago on Sunday.
I'm pretty convinced to that. But right now, Romo Dunsay
is out targeting DJ Moore by about a two to
one margin. Like it's possible o'donsays more targets than DJ
Moore this year, but I don't think it's going to
be by a two to one margin all season. That's
the reason I'm hesitating a little bit on o'doonsay. And
(46:41):
I've got him ranked pretty far below consensus. I've got
him ranked, you know, as a pretty much unquestioned starter.
But I just I think everyone wants to make Romo
Dunesay a made man right now, and I'm not quite
there yet.
Speaker 3 (47:01):
You're not saying it's Joe Peshie, are you? He walks
into the office.
Speaker 4 (47:06):
Like no, by the way, speaking speaking of that, so
it was just the anniverse, Like the thirty fifth anniversar
Fell release, it was just reading something really interesting about
the casting, uh, For the role of Tommy. The two
actors originally considered were John Malkovich and William Peterson Joe Pesci.
(47:28):
Joe Pesci was penciled in as Pauli the Paul Sorvino role,
but then when when Malkovich and Peterson turned down the role,
Peschi begged Martin Scorsese to play Tommy, and Scorsese relented
and let him, Wow, I know, can you because you
just can't imagine anyone other than Joe Peschie.
Speaker 3 (47:49):
But Tommy, Yeah, I love.
Speaker 1 (47:51):
Those like sliding doors moments where it's like it wasn't
supposed to be this way, and then it does, and
now it's like, how could did you ever, you know,
look for anybody else besides this person that ended up
in the role.
Speaker 2 (48:00):
It's too perfect?
Speaker 3 (48:01):
So you said made man. That's exactly where my head went.
I was like, uh.
Speaker 1 (48:07):
On on Rome so fits when we talked yesterday, I
was surprised you had him down at wide receiver twenty
six in your rankings for the week. He's a wide receiver.
I think it's fourteen in ECR. Yeah, it's wide receiver
fourteen in ECR. So that's like well below consensus. It
looks like you've moved him up a little up to
wide receiver twenty two, but you are still well below consent.
Speaker 4 (48:26):
Yes, and that's it. I mean agree, it's a great
spot for him, but I just I don't know if
we can count on him to like be the huge
alpha target earner every week, because like DJ Moore is good,
and I know the chemistry with DJ Moore and Caleb
Williams has been off since last year and like the
(48:47):
body language was bad for DJO, Like something is not
right there, but DJ Moore is still really good. Like
would it shock anyone if he had a better day
than Romo Doomsday this week, So.
Speaker 2 (48:57):
It should it wouldn't.
Speaker 1 (48:58):
It wouldn't like shoot, my job wouldn't be on the
floor if that happened. I will just say, and obviously,
deebra I, I want to hear what you have to think.
I feel like for me, I'm just like I loved
Romadun's day of the prospect. Like he's young, so I'm
expecting to take a step forward this year. It's a
great matchup just in terms of like it's going to
be high scoring and it's against a poor defense. So
(49:20):
I'm just like, I don't want to overthink. I'm not
saying that he needs to be as high as wide
des Yere fourteen. I do think that's like maybe a
little high, but like I do think you should be
inside the top twenty, Like coming off the game he
just had against a bad defense as a good player,
I just like I want to buy in that this
is real, and I would rather I would rather buy
in that it's real and be you know, sadly mistaken
(49:41):
than you know, skeptical and miss out on another big week.
Speaker 2 (49:44):
I guess is my approach to it deeper? What do
you think so?
Speaker 3 (49:47):
I have Rome slightly below consensus at wide receiver eighteen.
I still do have him as a top twenty four guy.
I will just for full transparency. Boys. When I opened
up the better pros app this week, the first two
bets I made were the overs for DJ Moore at
hard rock bet. I bet over four and a half
receptions minus one ten. Right now you can still get
(50:09):
and over fifty four and a half half receiving yards
at minus one fifteen. I think this is going to
be a huge day for Djmore. If you look at
the coverage stuff for DJ Moore, this screams Djmore week
man like. Overall, he's had only a sixteen percent target
chair and a nineteen percent first reach year. Not good.
(50:29):
You look at what Dallas does and with ebra Flu's
call on defensive plays, sixty four percent of the defensive
snaps have been again with too high coverage Djmore this
year against too high twenty seven percent target share, three
point three yards per route run, and his first read
share has skyrocketed to thirty six percent. I think he's
(50:52):
gonna crush this week, dude, Like I've got DJ Moore
as the top twenty four wide receiver. I bet his overs.
I'm going to like I just if you can. If
you can ladder bet him. Please do this week and
enjoy it because, like FITS talked about, this game environment,
one of the few totals that we have outside of
this in like Detroit Baltimore, that's going to be over
fifty points. And both of these defenses are banged up.
(51:14):
They're giving up production. We just saw what Russell Wilson did.
I'm not the biggest believer in Caleb Williams, but good lord,
this is such a good spot. This is going to
be a firework filled game, and I'm all in for
DJ Moore.
Speaker 1 (51:28):
DJ Moore is wide receiver twenty nine in ECR, so
bump him up deeprist, bump him up in the ranks.
Speaker 3 (51:34):
Please.
Speaker 1 (51:36):
Last game in the late slate on Sunday Cardinals at
forty nine ers. Ricky Piersall and Juwan Jennings are both
ranked as back end wide receiver threes this week in
the expert consensus rankings. Fits, who do you expect to
have a bigger Week three?
Speaker 4 (51:48):
I'll say Piersaw just because Jennings is dealing with an
ankle injury, but I generally do like pier saw a
little more and we'll probably have him ranked higher most weeks.
Speaker 3 (52:00):
If Jennings is a full go and he's he can
operate like normal, I'm going to take Jennings here. Just
I thought it was not like overly concerning, but like
with Jennings first game back, like he reassumed basically the
role he had last year, like the dude at a
twenty three percent target chair and a thirty percent first
read chare Like the way that it looks like they're
using Pearsaw is kind of like in this mishmash, kind
(52:23):
of like brand and Iyukish type of role where they
like want to use him down the field and stuff,
so like taking health out of it and Saint Jennings
it can go and be like his normal self, which
I know is it's a lot of ifs there. I'll
take Jennings, but if he's banged up, then I'll go Piarsol.
But I think all things in a vacuum, I'll take Jennings.
Speaker 1 (52:44):
In this same game, Marvin Harrison Junior is ranked several
spots higher than both Jennings and Pearsaw in ECR. Does
that feel right to you that there's a wide gap there.
I mean, it's it's so far been another inconsistent start
to a season four Harrison debro. Do you think there
should be a wide gap between Harrison's ranking and Jennings
and pear Sauce.
Speaker 3 (53:04):
I just I don't know why, Like what hopium copium?
Or is everybody continuing to guzzle with Marvin Harrison Junior? Like,
I just I can't get there, man, Like it's Kyler,
it's this offense. It's the other part about this, like
we are getting more of the horizontal breaking routes from Marvin.
Like it's not doing much, man Like, if anything, like
we've seen, Trey McBride is the clear alpha wide receiver
(53:26):
one in that offense. Like I feel like we're just
still living all off of like everybody's just huffing all
the hope fumes for for Marvin Heerson Junior.
Speaker 4 (53:34):
The only thing I'll say in Harrison's defense is that
it's been low passing volume for the Cardinals right now
because they've led in like eighty percent of their first
two games. They had that win over the Saints where
they just kind of kept the Saints at arm length
arm's length in Week one, and then they had the
big lead over the Panthers in week two where they
were just trying feudally to kill Clock and couldn't do
(53:55):
it and kept giving the Panthers the ball back. So
Bryce Young wound up throwing like fifty five acids or whatever.
But it's just so Yeah, thirty eight pass attempts right
now for Kyler. So with more passing volume, maybe things
start to look a little bit better.
Speaker 3 (54:09):
I mean, I I don't disagree with you, fits, but
like you're about it. If I take the name out
of it, take Marv's name out of it, tell me
if these numbers scream must start wide receivers like wide
receiver two. So far this player has an eighteen point
five percent target chare one point six yards per route
run and a twenty two percent first reach year.
Speaker 4 (54:29):
You're right, I mean fundamentally at.
Speaker 3 (54:31):
Wide receiver three type of like numbers, not wide receiver two.
Speaker 4 (54:35):
Fundamentally, nothing really different so far with Marvin ha Yeah,
that is alarming.
Speaker 3 (54:40):
It's it's just it's not great, man, Like when your
top two options like Michael Wilson's not doing any of
his offense, Say Jones ain't doing anything, Like why can't
he earn more volume.
Speaker 1 (54:52):
Chiefs at Giants is Sunday Night Football's matchup. The Chiefs
offense Debro's kind of broken. Will they get right against Giants?
Speaker 3 (55:01):
I mean specify, get right? Are they going to look
better because of the defense? Okay? Sure? Are they going
to look like they're a good offense and they live
up to everything that people want the Chiefs to be? No? Like,
so I think they could look better, but that's quant
I mean you got to quantify with who they're playing.
(55:21):
I just I don't know what what happens better for
the Chiefs, Like Xavier Worthy is probably not a full
time snap player, like Hollywood is still Hollywood Taekwan, we
know who he is, Like sure, maybe he can beat
one of these corners like deep down the field because
of a speed, but like we do any better? Checho
and and Kareem Hunt, who get three yards in a
(55:42):
cloud of nothing? Like there's just where's the explosive element?
Speaker 1 (55:46):
Like what?
Speaker 3 (55:48):
I don't know? Man, Like I I find myself more.
This is not a get right game for case. This
is maybe a look better game, but get right. I
don't know when that happens.
Speaker 1 (56:01):
On hard Rock Bet it's Chiefs minus six. I kind
of like Giants plus the money.
Speaker 3 (56:07):
I don't know. I think the Giants alive to win
this game, and maybe I.
Speaker 2 (56:10):
Think they are too.
Speaker 1 (56:11):
I mean we've seen like when the Chiefs offense is,
you know, running hot and doing well, that the one
of the keys to stopping them when they are, you know,
playing at a high level is being able to rush
the passer.
Speaker 2 (56:24):
And like that's the one thing you would expect the
Giants to be able to do.
Speaker 3 (56:29):
What is their offense doing well right now? Though?
Speaker 4 (56:31):
Like Patrick that's it, yeah, like that he's running for
his life.
Speaker 3 (56:36):
He is the rushing offense. They can't run the ball
outside of Patrick Mahomes. They can't pass the ball consistently,
whether it's short or deep, Like, like, what are the
Chiefs actually doing consistently well on offense? Like that's somebody's
got to tie me.
Speaker 1 (56:49):
I like Giants plus six a lot, I mean, even
even if not even setting aside, like oh, the Giants
have a good pass rush and that's something that's frustrated
Mahomes in the past. I'm like, I just don't see
taking the Chiefs minus six against anybody right now. I
don't know what they're doing that makes you think they're
gonna blow a team out, even a team that we
don't think is good in the Giants, but who is
coming off at really I scoring games.
Speaker 4 (57:10):
And warm I thought, like I thought their offensive line
was going to be better, but like I guess Josh
Simmons has not yet solved the left tackle problem for them.
And like the running game, Man, if the Kansas City
running game can't get it done against the Giants, who
ranked dead last in DVOA against the run and gave
(57:30):
up more than eight yards per carry to Jacory krossky
Merit in Week one and gave up ninety seven yards
and a touchdown tot Javonte Williams last week, like if
Isaiah Pitcheck on Kareem Hunt can't do anything against this
run defense, like that's a terrible sign. And like hopefully
the passing game looks a little bit better with Xavier
Worthy at least giving them some snaps this week, we think,
(57:52):
But man, like I'm kind of skeptical.
Speaker 1 (57:56):
Devra, would you rather bet Giants plus six or plus
two forty on the money line on hard rock?
Speaker 2 (58:01):
Bet?
Speaker 3 (58:01):
I'll take Giants money line. Maybe I'm crazy, but I'll
take the money line.
Speaker 2 (58:05):
I don't think you're crazy, dude.
Speaker 3 (58:07):
One last thing about the Chiefs, please, Andy Reid give
some more snaps to Boshard Smith, Like, but Checko ain't
got it, Kareem Hunt, I ain't got it. You need
you need something of an explosive element, like maybe Burschard
Smith isn't that dude, but you've got to find out
because you know both these other guys, aren't it. Man.
Speaker 1 (58:25):
The the only reason I don't like like that, I'd
rather bet take them, you know, the plus points for
the Giants rather than the money line is because it's
really hard to imagine the Chiefs being zero and three,
and so.
Speaker 3 (58:38):
I do feel like they look terrible right now.
Speaker 1 (58:40):
But it's I mean, just think about the Chiefs, like
and they just still Mahomes and Andy Reid like, and
it is it is a bad team they're facing, Like
I it's just hard to imagine. But I don't think
this is gonna be a blowout, Like I think this
is gonna be a close game. I think six points
is too many, it's too much. We'll see what happens.
Let's go to Monday Night Football, a much more exciting
game than Sunday Night Football. This week Lions at Ravens.
(59:01):
These two teams combined for ninety three points scored in
Week two. They are the first and third highest scoring
teams on the season, respectively. Hard Rock Bett has the
total at fifty two and a half, which is the
highest of the week.
Speaker 2 (59:13):
Is it going over or under?
Speaker 1 (59:15):
And then also, you guys know, I like to ask
in these games where it's like bonanza, lots of offense
are really excited scoring right and left. Pick one player
to fade, and obviously a player who you would could
be considering starting, not just like the fourth string tight
end or something, but one player to fade in this game.
Speaker 2 (59:30):
And also, is it going over or under? Fifty two
and a half? Debra, what do you got?
Speaker 3 (59:34):
I'll take the over only because the Lions offense looks
like they're back, like the Ravens still seem like they're
struggling a little bit. I don't know if Nate Wiggins
plays this game, so that's going to impact Baltimore. Their
pass rush hasn't been amazing to this point, so I
think you can put up points, and quietly, I think
the Lions could run the ball on the Ravens. Just
(59:56):
looking at the matchups here, so I'll take the over
all the and the total is sky high, and I'll
just I'll grab the low hanging fruit. Here it's Mark Andrews.
Man like, I don't understand why Baltimore is not utilized him,
but they're not. And the Lions have defended titands pretty well.
Like they've given up the eleventh fewest Fantasy points per
game to tight ends. So if I'm fading one of
(01:00:17):
the Baltimore Ravens this week, it's Mark Andrews. But I
think there's been a lot of scoring.
Speaker 4 (01:00:22):
In this game.
Speaker 1 (01:00:23):
I think this game is going to be played in
the sixties. Like, I don't care that it's a high total.
I think it's easily in over.
Speaker 3 (01:00:30):
Can't push back easily.
Speaker 2 (01:00:33):
It's what do you think?
Speaker 4 (01:00:33):
Yeah, I'm not betting it, but I'll say it goes over.
We get the track, meete we deserve. And if I
have to fade anyone, maybe I'll gently fade Derrick Henry.
And I think I've cursed Derek Henry worm. I'm sorry,
but like, I've never had Derrick Henry in any league.
I drafted him in one league, but it's a league
where we draft the day before the first Sunday of
(01:00:53):
the NFL season. There have been two games played already,
so we don't start our season until Week two. And
of course, Derrick Henry had that spectacular Week one game
against the Bills, and I didn't get any of that,
and I get him for his dud game against the
Cleveland Browns last week. I'm wlorready as another dud game
against a really good Detroit defense, Detroit run defense this week.
(01:01:15):
So you know, for your sake, Worm, let's let's hope
that I am not cursing Derrick Henry by investing in him.
Speaker 1 (01:01:24):
I only asked you guys about the total. But what
do you think about you know, the game itself. It's
Lions plus four and a half. Do you like the
Ravens side or the Lions?
Speaker 2 (01:01:31):
Either of you.
Speaker 4 (01:01:32):
I don't bet against the Ravens at home, at home.
Speaker 2 (01:01:35):
In prime time.
Speaker 1 (01:01:36):
Lamar is like pretty yeah, I mean there were there
were in the all black uniforms too.
Speaker 2 (01:01:41):
That's worth another point.
Speaker 3 (01:01:42):
It's the regular season, right, Yes, it's it's the regular season. Okay,
That's that's all I need to say here, That's all
I need to say.
Speaker 4 (01:01:50):
A little subtle shade there.
Speaker 3 (01:01:52):
I just I'm just asking you. I'm just fancy. I
just asking a question. Okay, just asking a question.
Speaker 1 (01:01:58):
Okay, Lamar in the postseason in the last you know,
five years, like, what are you gonna I can fight
you on it's yeah, you're holding games when he was
with Greg Roman and was twenty two years old against time.
Speaker 2 (01:02:13):
He has been totally fine in the playoffs.
Speaker 3 (01:02:15):
Last in the playoffs and the year before.
Speaker 4 (01:02:17):
Yeah, he's saying, to get your shine box, worm.
Speaker 1 (01:02:21):
He has been totally fine in the playoffs the last
two years. He lost to the Chiefs and the Bills.
Those are great teams. It's not like you know early
on in his career. Yeah, they lost to the succeeded Titans,
but he was just twenty one years old.
Speaker 3 (01:02:31):
I ask good questions, Worm.
Speaker 2 (01:02:32):
Just it's unfair pointed questions.
Speaker 1 (01:02:35):
I would say, I'll make Hey, this is I will
make right, Like that's what I will make next week's
regardless of what happens this week, I will make next
week's key question in the Ravens game. Just a deep
dive on my setup for the question will be a
deep dive on why the playoff narrative is bogus for Lamar.
Speaker 3 (01:02:53):
We're gonna have thirty minutes on the Ravens and then
we got thirty minutes for the other fifteen games.
Speaker 2 (01:02:57):
Exactly cool. I will have things out there really excited
for that one.
Speaker 1 (01:03:01):
I mean, that's gonna be super fun game Monday, and
I feel it's kind of a less exciting week.
Speaker 2 (01:03:06):
I don't know if you guys feel the same.
Speaker 1 (01:03:07):
There's like not a lot of matchups that I'm overly
pumped about, so it's kind of fun. See, I'm kind
of iffy on this slate, but I think obviously it
ends really well with Lions. Ravens is going to be
a super fun one. So we'll wrap things up there
for Debro and Fits.
Speaker 2 (01:03:22):
I'm Ryan Warmlan.
Speaker 1 (01:03:23):
