Speaker 1 (00:00):

are you ready? Thirteenth highest rank? I'm gonna say it
on every dang show that I do this week, thirteenth
(00:45):
highest Ranks. We were both positive in the props. Week
one was pretty fun. But the real test starts now.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Yes, the real test is now, will I'd be wrong
about the Jets two weeks in a row because now
like I'm all, I'm like all back on board, So
we'll see how that plays out. I'm just very much
trying to figure out who is this year's Saints like
a team that just came out of the gates on
fire last year and then it just totally went off
(01:16):
the rails.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
Now.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
I think the Miami Dolphins kind of seemed like the
popular team for that, but they didn't start the season
out like the Saints started the season out good and
then they fell off. The Dolphins look like they're just
kind of continuing to nose dive as typical of what
you expect from my Miami Dolphin. They live in the water,
they dive a lot. So yeah, man, I'm ready to
chop it up here.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
All right, Well, let's chop it up with our people.

just like we got going. All right, let's just jump
right into the show.
Speaker 4 (02:32):
Here.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
First, up our boy Tenser Chinser's back in the house.
Who is going to be kicking us off. He was
first in the room too, but in here before Ericson.
So what's up, dude, Just me and hang out with Ericson.
Speaker 5 (02:45):
Right right, I got three equipments for you guys and
a fourteen team.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
Uh oh hot, hot hot hot. Oh no, we lost you?
Oh no your internet? Oh chins are your three questions?
Is your internet fixed or not? All right, we're gonna
kick you. We raise your hand once you're back into
the world. Uh, skim milk, skim milk in the house,
what's up?
Speaker 3 (03:11):
That's guys, give me the importition. I don't like skim milk,
but it's fine.
Speaker 6 (03:15):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
I don't hate skim milk.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Although when you try skim milk and then have regular
milk or any tip of milk that has fat in it,
you're you look at skim milk and think this is
just water.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
I'm sure actually probably am not. I'm not a big
milk guy, so I think like skim milk was probably
just fine. So that's okay, no judgment, no judgment here.
Speaker 7 (03:35):
All right, let's get into football. I guess. So it's
a kicker question. Uh, looks or little So I kind
of put looks first on based on like what the
app was recommending and a little like kind of crazy
listen do too bad either, But what do you guys think?
Speaker 3 (03:55):
Nuts for lots? That's what I would do. Go nuts
for a lot.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Because I'm playing in a dome. He's playing in a dome.
That's what I care about the most. I'm not anytime
cares playing outside in any capacity. I would rather look
the other way. And what's the products are going to
score points.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
So yeah, nuts for less.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
Thank you?
Speaker 1 (04:13):
That was it you literally okay, I mean that was
incredible he came on. That was like having like a
boss too. Did you hear him? Absolutely? Show us off, Like, okay,
stop talking about non football stuff. Let's talk football now.
Shoot us off and then ask a kicker question, biggest
Mike drop anyone's ever done on here. You bullied me
around and then you asked a kicker question. Okay, that
(04:35):
was crazy. Mctunda. Mctunda's in the house. You can bully
me too.
Speaker 8 (04:39):
No, no, we els, You're fine this time. Two questions
real quick. I've lost party, of course. So I'm looking
to stream either McCarthy, Pennix or Drake May. Who do
you got this week?
Speaker 1 (04:54):
Oh Drake May? Bye, wide margin for me. I'm very
very much pro team Drake May. It was just talking
about this with Bogman. Justin Fields is seven on the
consensus ranks this week. That's where I've gotten May. I'm
gonna say this is going to be the game. I
hate the Dolphins one more weekend with Diggs. I just
love everything about this setup here. So I am Drake
(05:14):
May on this one big time. Ericson, Yep, Drake may
for me too, Let's do it. What's the other question?
Speaker 8 (05:21):
The other question is in a.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
Full PPR league?
Speaker 8 (05:24):
There I got offered Marvin Harrison Junior for Trevion Henderson.
Would you take.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
Him your Travion for Marvin? And what like half PPR
are full full PPR. You didn't even seem like you
needed to know the format, ericson, you just love it.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
I think that Marvin Harrison is probably the least talked
about by candidate after Week one, and I think it's
because we saw all these massive breakouts or some of
these other second year guys. Key On Coleman over one
hundred yards, Pierceill had a massive game. But Marvin Harrison
looked significantly better than he did last year in Week one,
and Kyler missed him on a that could have been
like a ninety five yard touchdown. Now, those are gonna
(06:03):
happen when Kyle is your quarterback. Unmoginally those are the lumps.
But he's got Carolina this week. I mean, the Cardinals
have really good schedule. So I like buying Marvin Harrison
Junior because there's just not a lot of hype around
a guy that I think might be taking that sickond
year leap.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
Yeah, I've got Marvin higher this week too. I think
his consensus is fourteen. I've got him at eleven. I
completely agree. He looked good. He just looked he looked
like a different He didn't look he looked lost last
year a little bit early on. Connection seems to be better.
He feels confident. He's obviously got the skill set. That's
just like it's a great trade, that's a great total.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
They put a lot on his plate as a rookie,
I mean, be kind of dropping him from day one. Ok,
you have to be this like prototypical X wide receiver.
So I get that he did not match expectations, but
with expectations adjusted this year, and I think the overall
consensus with him was kind of like Lukewarms, like not
so sure, like maybe he can do it. But I
would be sending out offers for Marvin Harrison year because
(07:00):
I think they'd be surprised how easy it might be
to acquire him even after like a good game, like
he wasn't bad at week one at all.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
Good transition too. On the first question, we didn't start
the show with this, but obviously the news came out
today kind of confirming because it had been floating around
for a day or two that like, hey, pretty's questionable
this week, maybe he can miss multiple weeks, Da da da,
And then it's like, nope, he's out two to five weeks.
He's got a bad case turf toe two looks like
the low end. It's not great. So Mac Jones is
(07:30):
going to be in at quarterback, which I might sound
positive about, like as a Niner fan and stuff. I'm
a pretty self hating person too, but even I'm not like,
like terrified of Mac Jones. Like Mac made Brian Thomas
look better last year than Trevor Lawrence is doing, so
I don't think that's like the worst thing in the world,
but we do have to give a long, hard look
(07:52):
at the options around him. I'm just curious your take
on with affirming that Mac is the quarterback. And it
looks like John Jennings probably is going to play. Really
this just like a Ricky Piersall thing. Christian McCaffrey looks
like he's just absolutely locked in. He's going to get
so much run. I think Brian Robinson's kind of a
cheap option this week. What are you doing with Ricky
Pirosaw with Mac Jones as the quarterback man.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
Yeah, I know.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
We talked about Pearsol on the Ranking Show and I
was the low man on him and talked about having
him to move him up. He's just kind of in
this like weird range. I think that in the ECR
he's up to twenty four, Like he's up. He's up
pretty substantially. So I am a little bit lower than that.
I guess I just have just some reservations with him,
just based on just all the new that's happening, right, Okay,
you have a great new quarterback. Okay, like that again,
(08:39):
putting aside what Mac Jones did with Brian Thomas Junior
last year that was also the end of the season.
Like we don't know, like what the connection is between
Mac Jones and Ricky Peersol, Like all off season it
was rock purty in Ricky pearsall connection Like this is great,
Like this is what we're excited about.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
And we saw in Week one.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
Okay, Piersoll's breaking out, but we also have Piersoll kind
of like disappear for a little bit in the four
Niners game, where like he came out, had some production
early on and then kills out of the game, so
you're like, okay, like where's pearsall? And then it wasn't
until later on in the game that he started making
some more plays. So I think that he just brings
an extra layer of more boom or bust to this matchup.
(09:16):
I don't think that Koliy McKinstry is like a terrible cornerback.
I think that he can match up like decent well
against some of the better wide receivers, So that concerns me.
And I do think that the forty nine Ers, like
you said, it's gonna be a lot of dicaffrey, like
how do you beat the Saints like you attack their
defensive line. I don't think the forty nine ers want
to win this game in a shootout because the more
(09:37):
dropbacks they take, the more I think that mac Jones
is going to get hurt because there's a reason why
brought Perdy's injury right now. It's because the offensive line
for the forty nine ers did not play well in
Week one, like Trent Williams looked a lot more like
a thirty seven year old left tackleh then the All
Pro Hall of Fame and if I'm wrong with any
of these forty nine ers takes Welsh, please like correct me,
but that was my main takeaway from like what I
(09:57):
saw from week one. I think that the upisode is
obviously fill there with Piersol because of the target volume
that he should see. But I think he does carry
another element of or additional risk just because of all
of the other kind of like circumstantial factors.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
Yeah, I had Piersol. I was one of the highest
rankers on him prior to the Purty thing. The thing
that I'm sitting on as the offensive line didn't look great.
I think they are going to want to control the clock.
They're going to run the crap out of the ball.
And we also don't one hundred percent know the connection
between Mac and Piersol. We knew it, it was, you know,
with Purdy. So I do have some bigger questions now
and a few more reservations. So he's kind of moved
(10:33):
down a little bit my ranks, but I do want
to point out there are two sets of ranks that
have him at eleven a wide receiver that are in
there currently in the updated ranks, So a lot going
out there. It's a little bit polarizing, but I think
it's McCaffrey, it's Brian Robinson is a cheap play, and
Pearsol has to move down a little bit. I don't
know about Jennings and mac Jones is probably still not
(10:56):
even like a super flex option regardless of it. So
that's a little bit down to the forty nine er situation.
If you're out there, ericson, do we still have you?
Your camera chopped out like crazy? So we have cameras
in here, by the way, now on these shows, are
you still alive with us?
Speaker 9 (11:08):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (11:09):
I am just giving you one second. I will coop
back all right, Yes, yes, I'm back, all right.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Back in action. No, it's okay, we're just chopping out.
I just want to make sure that Erickson was still
alive here, all right. We got a bunch more questions.
Speaker 3 (11:23):
Keeping up here.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
Yeah, yeah, So get these questions in all right.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
W W Collins, what's up? Come on down, bring a
fantasy question to us either way? Okay, how's everyone doing?
What's up?
Speaker 3 (11:38):
Dude?
Speaker 1 (11:39):
We're doing good man? What do you got?
Speaker 9 (11:40):
So I'm looking to trade for an RB so my
receivers I got justin Jefferson, London, mconkie, Golden, McMillan, and Ridley.
One like, who should I be looking at the trade for?
And there's a guy on my in my league that
has eight Chan, Cook, McCaffrey and Stevenson, So possibly trade
(12:02):
or receivers or bundled together.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
What were the white outs again? You got to repeat.
Speaker 9 (12:06):
Him justin Jefferson, Drake, London, Lad McConkie, Matthew Golden, Ted McMillan,
and Calvin Ridley.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
I love the idea of trading one of those white
outs from those running backs. You know who jumps out
to me is trading a tet for an a Chan
right now? Chen's kind of down with how bad the
Dolphins were. You've got three other great receivers. I think
tetuoha might have some better value than like a lad
right now. So I think I would try to float
a Tetoh for a Chan to improve my running backs.
(12:36):
What do you think about that, Erickson?
Speaker 2 (12:38):
I think that that's I like that that type of
approach I thought. I think I'm not sure one of
the other receivers you listed off. I don't think that
James cooks like a terrible buy either. If the bills
are gonna score thirty points a game, then he's gonna
be fine.
Speaker 1 (12:51):
But you'd have to move like a lad or because
he had just two good receivers. Would you move a
Tetaroa or a lad to get James Cook?
Speaker 2 (12:59):
I think no, maybe not a Lad McConkie. So yeah,
maybe Ted, I don't.
Speaker 3 (13:04):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
It's James Cook now highly about more value than a
Chan is after one week.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
I just think they might be similar.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
Yeah, yeah, I don't think the Dolphins offense will be
as bad as it was in Week one every single week.
But I think that if you're buying any type of
Dolphins like, you gotta be getting a deal like because
there there is that additional risk that again, if the
floor completely bottoms out on this team, obviously things can get.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
Really really bad.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
Although if they trade Terry Hill then in theory, you
just centralize the offense around a Chan and Jalen Waddle.
So look at it in a couple of different ways.
But I think just from a roster building perspective, that
makes sense. If you have a receiver rich to go
after a running back that's you know, a by Loo candidate.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
Our boy Chin is back. Let's see if Chinser is
in a stable internet space. Are you with us?
Speaker 5 (13:58):
Can you hear us stable internet space but an unstable headspace?
Speaker 1 (14:03):
Houston? We have ignition? All right? Well you had three questions.
Speaker 5 (14:06):
Three quick ones, So fourteen team half PPR? What do
you want the Ridley side or the Mace Jordan Mason
side of a trade?
Speaker 1 (14:15):
Are like? Positionally? Are you okay on both sides? Is
there one?
Speaker 3 (14:19):
Even in a vacuum? I would probably rather have Mason.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
I'm good with that. You are, Yeah, I'm good with that.
Speaker 5 (14:27):
Okay, keep going, endless pain, endless pain. I went out
and got Calvin Ridley and then I was having big,
big buyer's remorse. But either way, I think what we
think he is will be fine.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (14:37):
I cannot get anybody to trade me anything for Diebo.
I'd like a running back, like what for Diba? Like
what running backs would you be targeting for that range?
That's just a PPR twelve.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
Yeah, it's a little tough because you do it. You
slid in here, chins Er with a Thursday ish type
of thing, because like Week two is going to happen,
and it's it's whatever Thursday football has is going to
have some effect because if he if he goes out
and has a big game and it's two and he
gets volume, people are going to be positive about that.
So I don't know, ericson if you've got it, this
(15:06):
is this toes the line of our Thursday Night issue.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
Just let's just for all intensive purposes. Just like Deebo,
Samuel is a cell high after Week one, Like I
talked about him as a cell high, I think on
either one of the articles I wrote up, just because
he's an older player that has an injury history, who
you know, had a really strong Week one. So if
that continues, I would say running backs that you could
potentially target Marion Hampton maybe you know something, plus after
(15:34):
he didn't look great against the Kansas City Chiefs and
a tougher run.
Speaker 3 (15:37):
Defense gave him.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
But Henderson he would be another running back maybe actually
the target to be like a stash play. If you
don't need Deebo's production like immediately, we're probably someone like R. J.
Harvey as someone that hey, I want this guy on
my bench for upside later on because a lot of
these receivers like Debo and as another example that's I
(16:00):
mean like the Deebo ilk Keenan Allen, Right, guy you
drafted real literally late, that man, Like I want to
be starting this guy, well, maybe just flip him for
a running back that you can then start in a
couple weeks. They like their season long outlook, so that
way you're not feeling like you're wasting the weeks of
Debo when he's healthy or the weeks when Keenan Allen
is healthy and the starter. So that's some running backs
(16:20):
I would probably look for.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
I think you probably have to also look at like
a Charbone or Jordan Mason, because he already said no
one wants to trade for Devo, so there's clearly a
valuation issue you might be looking at like that group
as well.
Speaker 2 (16:33):
Or he could take a shot on Ken Walker too
and just roll the dice and see, like, Hey, if you.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
If you had an option Walker or Sharbona to acquire,
which one would you acquire For a guy like Devo?
Speaker 3 (16:44):
It would be Walker for me.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
Still, I mean, I mean, I want to see another
week of this, and again, I could come on here
and say something completely different next week, but I'm not
going to write off Walker just after one week where
he's missed, you know, the entire offseason where they've been
kind of keeping him in bubble wrap. And again he
as Fits pointed on the Ranking show, he still led
the Seahawks backfield touches, which you know, watching that game,
it did not seem like that at all.
Speaker 1 (17:07):
Well, because I don't think there the important situation. So
that's the other problem.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
Yeah, and he didn't see sharbon Hamiler carries, but he
did see the more of the targets like and that matters,
like three targets a jarviny zero. So I think maybe
Walker's not buried quite yet.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
What was the third question, Chinzer the.
Speaker 5 (17:25):
Miller question back to the fourteen half PPR George Pickens,
If I'm looking for running back, obviously it's not going
to be after like a four point week. It's gonna
be after maybe a boom or a couple. But what
same kind of range as is deebo there a little
bit higher tier.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
I mean he's higher tier that this is the this
is these are kind of theory questions. This is kind
of a tough one, Like he's coming off of a
bad week, he hasn't played yet. You have to wait
till he has a big explosive week. I think that
could be this week? It's is it better than Jordan Mason?
Is it the same?
Speaker 6 (17:55):
Like R? J?
Speaker 1 (17:55):
Hart? Maybe Travy I feel like an explosive Pickens week
and another downer Avian could maybe line up, but we
still might be selling it too high.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
I mean, got people don't want to travor receivers after
they bomb. They just don't do it, Like you gotta
wait till because then the prices fluctuate so much with them, right,
it's like one week of bad James and Williams, and
do I start James and Williams anymore?
Speaker 3 (18:17):
Does this guy? Is this guy?
Speaker 2 (18:19):
It's like no, Like you got it with these boomer
Bus receivers. You got to ride the highs and you
get to ride the lows. Like sometimes it's just not great,
but you're gonna feel much worse if you bench them
and they go off for thirty versus you start them
and they they they bust that week, because chances are
your opponent probably had a receiver the bus in their
lineup too.
Speaker 1 (18:37):
But if Pickens has like the theory we're talking about,
if he has like a good week this week, what
does that look like? And like is there a general
range of an RB. You think that is, like, because
I think Pickens floats to that like twenty to twenty
five range at wide out, So I think you're looking
at like a Javante or a David Montgomery or maybe
a Jalen Warren or something like that. Like are you do?
(18:58):
Because I don't think you can get into the breezes
and even the etns anymore. No matter what what is
your target.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
Range, it's definitely probably not a good market to be
trying to look for running because I feel like you're
gonna have to pay more to get a running make
you feel confident about their workload, or you're just gonna
have to roll the dice on. Well, maybe one of
these guys emerges. And again the one player that I
would want to talk about, but I can't because we're
there's a night player, and he would be He's another
(19:24):
guy that I think is in his range, just because
I think that there's a part of the market that's
just like still kind of hesitant, like I'm all the
way in, like like I'm ready to embrace it. So
I would be aggressive going after him. But we'll see
how that shakes out after his his Thursday night performance.
But yeah, I think you're really I think you got
(19:46):
a hold right now. I don't know if there's really
any obvious running back target in that kind of range.
And obviously you got away for picks to have a
good game too.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
You guys can sink your leagues instantly with my playbook

to the people. We got a nice queue here, Joseph
Premium member on Discord. Joseph's in the house.
Speaker 7 (20:47):
Hey, what up?
Speaker 6 (20:49):
What up?
Speaker 5 (20:49):
I got?
Speaker 10 (20:50):
I got two quick questions. I'll start off with one.
There's a perfect segue from Welsh.
Speaker 11 (20:56):
I got a trade, a trade offer, a trade suggestion,
trade suggestion from the Fantasy pros app and I was
curious see what you guys thought of it. So currently
I'm in a one quarterback league and I have both
knicks and fields.
Speaker 1 (21:16):
Where where that we on our fingers crossed, We're like,
please let this be a good offer that we're.
Speaker 10 (21:23):
So, I got Nixon fields. My running backs are Gibbs
and Chase Brown. Those are my starters. And so it
essentially said, offer up Nicks, bon Nicks and Jamier Gibbs
for Bucky Irving and js.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
N Well, yeah, I don't know how I was about
to say. I did not like Jamier Gibbs being involved
in that trade whatsoever. But then I do not care
about Bonnix in this situation at all. So he's a
nothing burger. I love the thought of getting even if
Buck he is ninety five percent of Gibbs and you
(22:01):
upgraded jays n I don't know the other person accepts that,
but they're gonna be very tempted to see Gibbs. You
know what, good job trade analyzer. That's a sneaky, sneaky
trade that I think will get that person's attention. I
don't hate it.
Speaker 10 (22:14):
Here's the thing though, like that, uh oh, would you
do it if they wanted fields.
Speaker 12 (22:19):
Instead of Nicks?
Speaker 1 (22:22):
Yes, I'm still I'm like I would say, I want
to send fields, I want to send Nicks more. But
I just don't really care about the quarterback in this situation,
just simply because you're getting that huge upgrade at wide receiver.
I'd also imagine not that this is great, but like
the wire, it's like Pannis out there. If Penis is
(22:43):
that this isn't super flex.
Speaker 5 (22:44):
Is it?
Speaker 3 (22:45):
No? No, it's one quarterback.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
I get the hell out of here. Yeah, like Panix
is out there and stuff. You're golden mac Jones. He's great, right,
I mean.
Speaker 10 (22:53):
Yeah, I got peerstyls. So I'm hoping Mike Jones is good.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
I'm yeah he's not, but yeah, go ahead, Errickson.
Speaker 2 (22:58):
No, I think that you have on all the points.
I think the quarterback is kind of doesn't really move
the needle. And yes, like right now, it seems like, oh,
I would never take Bonis over justin deals, but then
you could see, you know, Fields doesn't match what he
did last week. Bonix has a bounced back game against
the Colts and then we come on here and be like, oh, well,
like you probably want to get rid of Fields after
we took like seven sacks against the Buffalo.
Speaker 3 (23:19):
But like something like that happens.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
So yeah, let them make the quarterback decision, you know,
whoever they want, because you can't Again, having both those
guys doesn't really help you because then you're gonna to
figure out who to start every single week and you
might flip flop. So you know, one QB league, only
one of them. So uh yeah, make the move. And yeah,
I think this trade GE's done.
Speaker 1 (23:37):
So I mean, I hope it gets done. I I'm
not sure that they do it, but if they do it,
that'd be slick and that'd be a big win for
the trade suggestions. That's pretty sweet. Cam Kim's in the house.
What's so Cam? Hello?
Speaker 13 (23:52):
Hi, So I had a question on who I should
start this week. I have case Brown and Pollard as
my running backs and Javante as my flex but I
(24:13):
lost Kittle, so I picked up Fannin, and I'm curious
if I should start Tillman over any of the people
who I have.
Speaker 1 (24:23):
So you have Fannin as your tight end, So this
would yeah, Tillman essentially Tillman or Javonte Williams, right, yeah.
Speaker 13 (24:32):
Yeah, because I would put uh, probably switch Javante and
Pollard and then put in Tillman for my flex if
I was to do that.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
Okay, good question. Love the thing, by the way.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
And then she and then I think, I don't know,
I shouldn't specific specify that maybe there's some reservations with
having Tilman and Fannin in the same lineup.
Speaker 1 (24:54):
Oh yeah, that's probably part.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
But that is two Brown's receiver again. I mean, it's
kind of crazy. You look at the Browns box score
and you had, I think, like six guys be like
pretty decent for fantasy just because Flacco was dealing. It
was against the Bengals. Again, He's facing the Ravens this week,
so maybe a little bit of a different story. And
I don't think that we should just copy and paste
(25:17):
what the Bills offense did against the Ravens to like, oh,
this is the Ravens is just a terrible defense, Like, well,
everyone's gonna look pretty bad against Josh Allen.
Speaker 1 (25:24):
I've been hearing a lot of that this week, by
the way, and I'm like, I'm not so sure I'm
ready to say that the Browns are gonna slice and that,
you know what I'm saying, Like, I'm not ready to
do that either.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
Yeah, So I think that you could probably just roll
with the running backs. I think that they're just so
much safer from a projection floor. And this isn't where
you're making a stretch out for one of these committee
guys where it's like, well, Jordan Mason or Cedric Tillman.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
It's like no, like Jamonte is like locked and loaded.
Speaker 2 (25:49):
Like again, Giants not the best matchup of the world,
but Commanders had no problem running the football over them.
I think Dallas is the better team. They're playing at home.
So I would just roll with the running backs, throw
Fan in the tight end spot, and uh, you know,
Telling score last week, Telling doesn't score. Yeah, it's kind
of like a lackluster game. So that's how I would
approach it.
Speaker 1 (26:08):
Yeah, it's a great question, Cam too. I'm glad that
you brought it up because it brings up the fan
and stuff. Yeah, end of the day, I think you
get way more upside with putting like a Javante out there.
There's touchdown equity, not much for Tillman. For me, I
love Fannin. I'm totally opening myself up to being hurt
because I like, I looked at Fannin, I'm just like,
oh my God, Like he's slot receiver, blah blah blah.
(26:31):
And then it's like they're gonna have he's two targets
this week and I'll be disappointed. But I'm like all
I'm all in. I think he is a big playmaker
for this team, So I like having him at tight end.
I like the construction of what you've done, and I
personally wouldn't mess with it. I keep Javante in there.
Speaker 2 (26:45):
Yeah, And I think to what I would preach to
those that picked up Fanning, because I think that was
a smart move to make. I think that his long
term return might be better than what happens in week two. Like,
even if week two is now as good as week one,
don't tilt and be I have to drop this. I'm
just saying, like Fit's been a good points on the
ranking show where Titands destroy the Bengals like like like
(27:07):
every single every single week happened last year, happened in
week one. So if that's not the case against the
Ultimore Ravens, who have one of the best safeties in
the NFL and Kyle Hamilton, Like, I mean, the Ravens
aren't dumb, like they know who who they featured at
tight end. You think that you're gonna see Hamilton on
fan It like, that's not a good matchup for a
rookie tight end. So that's something that I would kind
of keeps it back in my mind, but don't drop
him because I think that and joke, who's gonna get
(27:29):
moved at some point.
Speaker 1 (27:30):
Yeah, I'd also say like that that assumption of like
having like really good cover, like and that coverage is
going to go to Joku first. I'm not sure that
after one week fan And has locked himself up into
like defenses targeting him and taking him out of the game.
Now they're taking in Djoku out of the game, and
that's what makes Fannin so interesting and he gets to
be if that defense is better by the way, he
(27:51):
gets to be like a shorter term option. You know if,
especially if they're spreading out Tilman more of a spread
out option, Judy's going deeper. Fanin is the guy that's
going to be hanging around short side him and Samson
should eat this week. So I like it. I like
I like that a lot. Uh Afro Pikachu. It's an
A plus name. You need the avatar, though, I'm a
little disappointed if you have a name like Afro Pikachu
(28:13):
not having like an absolute.
Speaker 2 (28:15):
Just well like what I'm assuming the avatar would be.
It would be the Pikachu meme where he's like out
and like he's staring out into the like into the abyss,
but then he has an Afro.
Speaker 1 (28:24):
Yeah, I love all that. Let's get to chat cheept quick.
What's up Afro?
Speaker 12 (28:28):
Not much question on starting running backs? If you could run,
where would you rank, like starting these four quarterbacks and
or running backs in your list of I've got in
multiple leagues, I've got charbon A, Harvey, Sampson.
Speaker 2 (28:44):
Sorry is this for Week two or for a rest
of season? Sorry, I just want to clarify week two specifically.
Speaker 10 (28:50):
Okay, thank you, charbon A, Sdarbone, Samson, Harvey, and.
Speaker 1 (28:59):
I'm chanting last that I have he must not be important, okay,
oh Jalen Warren, Oh okay, the most important? Okay, you
just left off like the the dinner here. Okay. So
for running backs, I'm gonna give you ECR and then
we'll get ericson, and then we'll get yours, our mind.
Eric's ericson the ECR is Jalen Warren, Sharboney, Samson, Harvey.
(29:25):
I'm gonna just tell you, actually, right, that's my exact
rank as well. I've got I got Harvey at the
bitty bottom. I'm I'm in on Samson this week, but
Warren number one, charbon Ay number two.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
I have Samson a little bit higher. I'm a little
bit lower on Warren. I mean he wasn't even the
lead ball carrier for Steelers.
Speaker 1 (29:45):
It was Kenneth Gangwell, are you saying you have Samson
is the highest of everybody here.
Speaker 2 (29:50):
Second behind Sharbone. But I really don't feel confident about
either Seahawks running back this week, where you're just kind
of banking I think on a touchdown potentially obviously Rebenue
scored last week, and I don't think the Steelers run
defense is going to play as bad as it was
against the Jets. I think when you have a mobile quarterback,
it changes things dramatically, and Sam Darnold's not a mobile guy.
(30:10):
Steels are also playing at home and not on the road,
so I think that does make a difference in terms
of how good their run defense is going to be
against a different scheme from Seattle. So I think Samson
to your point, I think, in full PPR, that's the
guy I want to roll out, just like I mean,
if this guy's going to catch eight passes every single
week because Joe Flaccos dropping them back to the throw
forty five times like his just I just feel so
(30:31):
confident about his role. Like Sharpa, Nam'm like, okay, fifty
to fifty with ken Walker, is he going to see
more or less than he did last week? I'm not
so sure. I think Samson for me, and it's a
full PPR, that's who I would feel confident with. Warren
I think is probably fine. It's like a floor play,
so I don't disagree with you there. And then Harvey's
definitely the hardest one to click because he's his role
doesn't project me well and you're just banking on he
(30:53):
has to hit a long explosive play, which that's just
not a good bet to make. Oh, every week he'll
just hit He'll just hit another fifth ya rush, Like
that's just hard to bank on. So I guess we
agree on Sharbonage and I guess I just I would
do Samson over.
Speaker 1 (31:07):
I think they're all the same tier though, Like if
if you decide, I mean, Derekson's the better ranker than me,
side with him on that. I think Samson is super
interesting this week. I do not expect Judkins, who was
in a practice and there's all the create I don't
expect him to play. And Samson has proven to be
an easy target monster, especially in a full PPR format.
I'm fine with him being at the top. I think
it's just Charbona's touchdown equity is interesting. The Jets kind
(31:31):
of shredded as far as running on the Pittsburgh Steelers,
so I think they might try to do a little
bit more of that, and Sharbonay can be involved. I
just think they're all a tier except Harvey. I had
this long discussion with Bogman where it was kind of
like he's kind of defending Harvey, and I'm like, we're
fine to defend Harvey for the rest of the season.
Harvey might be one of the best trade targets out
(31:51):
there right now because of the low usage and stuff
like that for the future, but for a week two
I'm not. I'll be okay with myself. I'll leap well
at night if Harvey goes off and I benched him
and my logic was, hey, let's see him prove it,
especially if I had someone like Samson or I have
other options, I'll be okay with that because I really,
truthfully like he has to prove it. You can never
(32:13):
start a guy like Caleb Johnson because he's not getting
any snaps like like Omarian's fine, he got all the usage.
Jent doesn't count here, Amarion's fine. Travion's in the middle
where Travion's his upside versus what he did is justifiable
to get him out there. They talked about wanting to
get him more. They're not with Harvey. They use forty
seven different players, Like I don't trust that he's out there.
(32:35):
So that's why I don't think he belongs in the
tier of those guys for this week. We could change
it next week if all of a sudden, they you know,
they start using him and he gets you know, fifteen touches. Okay,
different ballgame, completely different Okay.
Speaker 2 (32:47):
I would I think as we talked about that, I
think I just really want to get Samson in my lineup.
Speaker 5 (32:53):
Like.
Speaker 2 (32:54):
Oh, also, Trel Furman brought this up on the betting prochure.
You know whose birthday it is on Sunday? Dylan Samson?
Is it Dylan sam He's turning He's turning twenty one.
That's how young this guy is. This guy's gonna be stud.
Speaker 1 (33:06):
I want to talk to Samson on.
Speaker 3 (33:09):
His birthday and then he can go get beers with
Joe Flaka. Will be great.
Speaker 1 (33:13):
Oh, it's gonna be a great night. One hundred percent.
Joe Flacco Flacco could it could be its dad? So
is Joe flat like forty three?
Speaker 3 (33:21):
Take my son out after the game.
Speaker 1 (33:24):
I had kids late, Like I have a thirteen year old,
so it's like I'm getting into that space. I'm like
about Flacco's age, but I could have I could have
like a kid that old. All right, Uh, I want
to say token, but this is t Ko, Tko, what's up?
Speaker 14 (33:39):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (33:39):
This is the panda meme person.
Speaker 14 (33:43):
How's it going, guys?
Speaker 1 (33:44):
We're doing goodd how you doing super good?
Speaker 14 (33:48):
I need to know if I am crazy or not
before starting a Mecca Aguca over Tyreek Kale and T
Higgins what And also it is like an outlook for
Tyree show for the rest of the season.
Speaker 1 (34:03):
So Tyreek, I don't let you do all this. But
Tyreek gaining even in the discussion of these two for me.
Speaker 3 (34:10):
No, I don't think.
Speaker 2 (34:11):
I mean Tyreek, He's got so many stuff going on
right now, like that doesn't even do on the field.
Speaker 3 (34:17):
So there's just so much baggage with him.
Speaker 1 (34:21):
Why deceiver twenty seven and ECR Tyreek Hill is the
other two A Mecca is twenty one and Higgins is fifteen.
Just for context, but go ahead.
Speaker 2 (34:31):
I wouldn't sart him over to Higgins. I think that
we see the Bengals go burt this week at home.
They're playing the Jaguars. They always play bad against the Browns.
Jam two catches for Jamar Chase Week one. This is
the classic Jamar Chase stat line. It's like week one,
two catches, Week two, two hundred yards Like this is
the classic Jamar Chase, like box score when you go
(34:52):
through the game walks. He just goes absolutely nuclear, and
I think that Higgins can be along for that ride.
So again, agbuka Off app excellent in his debut, but
still only had six targets, so just keep that in mind.
I think that Higgins can see double digit targets in
his game, especially if the if the Brown excuse me,
the Bengals can't run the football.
Speaker 3 (35:12):
They just lost one of their offensive guards.
Speaker 2 (35:13):
Chase Brown was really inefficient last week average two yards
per carry, so they mased to decide, Hey, let's acts
the run game. Let's just throw the ball fifty times.
Let's beat the Jaguars. So I wouldn't start over to Higgins,
but over kyry Kill, yes, they.
Speaker 1 (35:27):
Might do that even if they can run, just to
get the passing game efficient. It's interesting you brought this
up because I'm one of the highest on a Mecca
this week, but you just can't over to Higgins like
like you happen to bring up a player that it's
like they're playing the Jacksonville Jaguars, Like I think they're
going to establish the game. Higgins is gonna eat, Chase
is gonna eat, They're gonna go. But I will say this,
(35:51):
I assume and I've talked to multiple people who kind
of agree Stingley is gonna just lock up on Mike Evans.
There's an argument that you could say that in May,
maybe Mecca is the young, more athletic field stretcher that
maybe they would want to move. Do you think they
ever want to give Mike Evans an opportunity? I don't
think so. And if he does, if you take Mike
Evans out of the game, a Mecca's a number one
in Tampa Bay. He proved to be clutched last week. Yes,
(36:13):
it's only six targets, but that was a rookie in
his first game. I think you warrant and justify more
targets against Houston. Their offense has been kind of putrid.
Is going to give more opportunities. I have a Mecca
at seventeen this week. I am dramatically high. I'm one
of the higher on him. But you just so happen
to pair it with a player that I have above
in t Higgins.
Speaker 2 (36:31):
Yeah, and I think that's why we like to bring
guys up as they include as they start to get
better and improve, especially young players like rookies. But at
the same time, you know, we draft the T Higgins
in the second and third round. Ye, and he's coming
off a bad game. But none of the Bengals were
good last week. But we all know what this offense
can do when it's operating at full capacity, and just
(36:53):
historically speaking, they never do that against the Browns. They
just don't. So he's got to take the week one
lumps like that sucks. But just was I was saying
this on the Betting show. You know the thing for
Men and Black where you just raise your mind, that's
you have to do with the Bengals players from week
one deep it never happened. Okay, Week two Jags wheels up.
Speaker 1 (37:12):
Guys, Well, nobody talks about Men and Black. It's just
it's a franchise that just died. Did you ever hear
in that famous this would have been maybe the greatest
movie of all time, that famous leak at Sony. Do
you ever hear about this like a hacker release, Like
all of the movies that they were going to do,
and it was all of Sony's lineup, blah blah blah.
There were a couple like real movies that were in it.
(37:32):
What was in it though, in Sony's thing was that
they were going to do a crossover movie between twenty
one Jump Street and Men in Black. That would have
been the greatest movie of all time. Like I grew
up with Men in Black. I would have killed for
that movie.
Speaker 3 (37:47):
Yeah, I think that. I think I watched a YouTube
video about that, like the.
Speaker 2 (37:51):
Behind the scenes, like why it never was released and
my men need to refresh and I need to come
back to you with my book report.
Speaker 1 (37:57):
Well yeah, not even released. It was just it was
it was a topic all that, and then it just
because of the hack or whatever, then they never moved
forward it and it's just like, I mean, please give
me that. That's all that I wanted in the world.
But Man and Black, excuse that, do not excuse our
Twitch channel go over and check us out Twitch dot Tv.

is up? What's up?
Speaker 7 (39:16):
That's good?
Speaker 1 (39:17):
We're going it's good man. How you doing good?
Speaker 2 (39:20):
Good?
Speaker 15 (39:20):
I got two questions, both in the standard standard league.
I need to start one of my flex Would you
go Davonte Williams, t matt A Buca or Calvin Railey?
Speaker 1 (39:34):
What do you think? Ericson? That's standard? And only one?
Speaker 5 (39:37):
Right?
Speaker 14 (39:38):
Yeah?
Speaker 12 (39:38):
Only one?
Speaker 1 (39:39):
Was that your only question or did you have another.
Speaker 15 (39:41):
Question too, my other one, same league at quarterback? Would
you go justin fields or Baker Mayfield?
Speaker 1 (39:49):
Okay, cool, all right, we'll come.
Speaker 2 (39:50):
Back to that and then yeah, fields and a standard
You know, I love just for standard leagues almost just
looking at who just has the higher odds to score
a touchdown and I feel like that's like processed. I mean,
that's what's really scoring the majority of your points, right,
Agbuka has to score a touchdown if he's probably going
to I mean to meet Javonte and Agbuka. I think again,
(40:13):
if this wasn't just standard to project be easily Agbuca.
Speaker 3 (40:17):
So I don't know, mean you were the high he's a.
Speaker 1 (40:21):
Bucks fan too, yeah, kind of does the defensive.
Speaker 3 (40:23):
Line for the Sorry, yeah, what were you going to say?
Speaker 1 (40:27):
I was a defensive line for the Giants has me
a little bit worried. It doesn't mean that they're not
going to move the ball and then he can just
John Tay Williams can pound one in. I think if
you're looking like logically from a touchstandpoint, the touchdown equity.
I think that someone asked earlier, like do we think
Dak's are going to bounce back this week. Yes, I
think the Cowboys are going to bounce back. If they're
going to score points, they could put themselves in situations
(40:48):
where Javonte could not have a big day but have
touchdown equity, and that's really what he needs. But all
of that said, I think a Mecca is going to eat.
I think Evans is going to be locked down, and
I kind of think there's more opportunity for touchdowns again,
so I'm really torn. It is those two players as
I like, Okay, I want to say Egbuka, but I
(41:11):
think my head is saying Javante Williams because I think
the Cowboys are going to bounce back and opportunity is
going to come up for touchdowns. So I'm gonna I'm
going to make no.
Speaker 2 (41:23):
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. It's like, I think
we got to go with Egg Buka. And it's funny
because both guys are coming off games and to score
two touchdowns, right, So so just regression analysis alone, you think, okay,
well they're probably not going to score multile touchdowns again.
That being said, if you have Baker Mayfield your bucks Van,
(41:43):
just just play Buka. I think it's suposed to have
where it's like play the guy's sensation.
Speaker 1 (41:48):
And by the way, we're telling him to go egg Buka,
and then we're like, but don't start Baker Mayfield, start
justin fields.
Speaker 3 (41:53):
Oh you're hedging a little bit here as well.
Speaker 1 (41:54):
Yeah, you are hedging up.
Speaker 2 (41:55):
So that way, when Baker Mayfield throws more touchdowns, you're
not totally hating yourself.
Speaker 1 (42:00):
That's a good point. You're at least getting it from mcbuka.
That's and then when.
Speaker 2 (42:04):
Baker Mayfield like is taking sack after sack against the
Texans off defensive line, you're also not hating here.
Speaker 3 (42:09):
So because you started justin fields.
Speaker 1 (42:11):
Yeah, that's a good one. Courty, Cordy's in the house.
What do you got for us? Courty?
Speaker 3 (42:16):
Hey, guys, how's it going.
Speaker 1 (42:17):
We're doing good, dude, how you doing doing well?
Speaker 4 (42:20):
It's actually my first time getting in on the discord. No,
that's super excited.
Speaker 1 (42:24):
Oh yeah, man, I appreciate you coming down.
Speaker 6 (42:26):
Yeah, of course.
Speaker 4 (42:29):
So in one of my leagues, I mean three, but one,
I feel like I have a pretty good chance of
going all the way in. I've got some pretty good
receiver debt. So I'm sitting with Drake London, Lad McConkie
Malik Neighbors, and then on my bench, I've got Ted McMillan,
Rashi Rice, and Chris Godwin. So yeah, pretty stacked, and
(42:53):
my RB depth is decent. I've got Jamiir and Omarin
Hapton as my starters, and then I've got Zach sharbon A, JK.
Dobb and Jay Warren, Jabon two William so okay. On
the bench, my starters are solid, but I'm lacking critically
at QB and tight end.
Speaker 6 (43:11):
Tight end maybe not so much.
Speaker 4 (43:13):
I've got Tucker and for my QB I've got Drake May.
So trade wise, that's kind of where I'm coming in at.
What do you guys think I should kind of move towards.
Speaker 1 (43:24):
I'm not sure I'm really looking at doing anything. If
I'm being honest with you, I love May this week
you're I think what you're alluding to is your big
advantage is like how steady your wide receivers are. But
here's your problem. You have two wide receivers that are
not going to play for multiple weeks. Because what would
I easily tell you, go see if you can move
Teta Roa and see if you can move Tetroha to
get a really awesome quarterback. The problem is is you
(43:45):
don't have Godwin for like a month, and you're not
going to have receiet Rice for over a month, so
he is your big major depth. I kind of hate
coming off of that. I personally think I am looking
to just roll with me because it's a good matchup
this week, and see how my team plays out the
next couple of weeks, and then as the bye weeks
start to come in, see if you could take advantage
of stuff. You're gonna appreciate your depth a lot more
(44:08):
from your position players instead of just moving them once
you get into those deeper weeks. But I'm not sure
May is the worst thing. I'd be curious what else
is out on the wire. But what do you think, Erickson,
Are you trying to make any big moves to move
off of a position player to upgrade your quarterback.
Speaker 2 (44:23):
Oh, May's fan to be fine. It was one week,
it was in the rain. He also wasn't absolutely like turt.
He wasn't like he put up sub ten Fantasy points.
Speaker 1 (44:32):
It was a decision making. Now, Like I know you
watched the whole game. I watched some of it. I
didn't think he particularly looked like a world changing quarterback
in that, but there were a lot of other factors.
First game, like you said, weather and stuff.
Speaker 2 (44:44):
Yeah, whether it's a it's a new offense for him.
You know, this is the first time he's had Josh
McDaniels as his offensive play caller, first time playing with
Stefon Diggs. Remember Digs didn't play at all in the
preseason game. So if dig starts to get more acclimated,
I think that you're going to see him build. And
he got one Kashan Boudi had of our one hundred
receiving yards. He was like, yeah, it's like this was
(45:05):
could he be our year three breakout? Like, so, I
think that it's the up and up, and they're playing
the Dolphins this week, so if it's gonna happen, this
is a good matchup for him. And I think two
of all the quarterbacks that ran this week, you know,
Drake may was one of them that really didn't, which
I think really stands out like an outlier based on
what we saw him do last year as a scrambler.
So I think he's gonna use the likes a little
(45:26):
bit more in this matchup against the Dolphins, and I
think that you're going to be fine. And I'm not
worried about Tucker Kruk, like, if anything, the fact that
none of these package receivers are stepping up and they're
all hurt, like in dealing with injuries, like he's gonna eat,
so just be patient, just give it one more week.
Speaker 3 (45:40):
I think they'll be fine.
Speaker 1 (45:41):
The only thing I pushed back on with the May
stuff is the selling one of the massive selling points
of I'm not the biggest Drake May guy. One of
the massive selling points of Drake May this offseason was
about like, well, look what he does if they start
designing plays like he can run? Sure, but like look
at what everybody else us with design run plays, and
(46:01):
what if we get it from him? We still didn't
see it. I think I saw one design run play,
So I push back in that, like, yes, he can
do more with his legs, but they didn't show us
anything that that offense wants to start doing justin Field's
like stuff with him, even though it seems like he
can do it. So that's why I'm a little bit like,
you know, I've never thought he was gonna be a
top five quarterback. I think he can be like a
(46:21):
ten to twelve or something, but they're still just upside.
Just chill, hang out, enjoy this week. You got an
incredible roster. Let the quarterbacks kind of come to you.
Don't force it right now, especially like when you get
she Rice back. World's your oyster dude, Like you got
Tataro be your wide receiver five with Godwin as a six,
Like that's when you do some damage when you get
(46:41):
close to the playoffs. But I'd say, just just roll
it out, baby, roll it out? All right? Um oops,
our boy? Who tf is Welsh? That's me? But that's
not you. Come on down, hey, can you hear me?
We got you you guys hear the plans? Just flying
over me? Jesus.
Speaker 6 (47:01):
I didn't.
Speaker 3 (47:04):
Go ahead.
Speaker 1 (47:04):
Sorry, I didn't just mean to distract us with a plane.
I just I had like the seven thousand planes fly
over me. It sounded like. So I was like, oh
my gosh, all right, what's your fantasy question?
Speaker 6 (47:13):
So I got two? First question I had kittle, I'm
in a chopped league, desperate at tight end now because
obviously you know it's a week to week thing. Don't
want to get a chopped Chalker, Craft, Hunter, Henry Brinton,
Strange or like the three best. I don't like starting
Thursday night players, but I'm also a diehard Packers fan.
(47:35):
What would you guys do?
Speaker 1 (47:37):
This is a dreaded uh towing the line of our
no Thursday questions, but it would have been craft.
Speaker 6 (47:44):
I mean, I know, I know it's treading the line.
Speaker 5 (47:47):
Uh.
Speaker 6 (47:48):
Secondly, I just pulled off what I believed to be
maybe the greatest trade ever. I just wanted to ask
you guys. So my starting running backs are Chase Brown.
I also got Javonte Or. I got a Jamior Gibbs.
I had Javante, but I traded him, and then I
got it'sy and and Jordan Mason as other running backs.
(48:09):
I traded Javonte Williams to my brother in law who
only had a starting running back, and I was able
to get a Courtland Sutton in return. I think that's
pretty decent, considering that he was desperate and needed a
running back.
Speaker 1 (48:22):
It's definitely not the greatest trade of all time, but
it's definitely a trade a brother and brother in law.
A brother would do to a brother in law hundred percent.
You absolutely won that You're not a great family member,
but you have a great fantasy team.
Speaker 6 (48:34):
Now.
Speaker 2 (48:35):
The greatest trade of all time, in my opinion, myself
and one of my co managers did a couple.
Speaker 1 (48:41):
Oh it's you shocker, let's hear it.
Speaker 2 (48:43):
Okay, no, no, because I have never heard anyone else
do something like this, and this is one hundred percent transparency.
So this was during the heyday of James White in
full PPR. Guy was a monster, but due to his role,
it was sometimes volatile. So I don't remember exactly what
we got back for James White, but we were able
to change trade James White for a piece, and then
(49:06):
he got cut from that roster. We picked him up again,
and then we traded him again for another piece.
Speaker 1 (49:12):
So you don't even know what the pieces are. This
is not the greatest trade of all time.
Speaker 2 (49:16):
This is just maybe the last time you trade the
same player twice for profit, both times in the same league.
Speaker 1 (49:22):
I can appreciate the logic of it, but you you're
not even telling us what the profit is.
Speaker 3 (49:28):
I mean, what's the You got to get something.
Speaker 2 (49:30):
Good, right, I mean I turned garbage into something into
energy fair. I mean he was cut from the team
and then we traded him again.
Speaker 1 (49:41):
I mean to be fair. Yeah, like those machines in
the ocean, they pick up the garbage to turn it. Yeah,
I mean I.
Speaker 3 (49:46):
Try to go back.
Speaker 2 (49:47):
I can try to go back and see what we
actually like, what the actual transaction was.
Speaker 1 (49:51):
My problem is is you sold this as the greatest
trade of all time. The logic of what you did
was great, but you didn't have a name, don't even
traded for.
Speaker 2 (49:58):
Maybe because I was just so I was just so
taken aback by the fact that we traded James White
twice and he was cut and then traded again for
a piece.
Speaker 3 (50:08):
It's a hip.
Speaker 1 (50:08):
I mean you you pulled off one of the greatest
heists of all time.
Speaker 3 (50:11):
Yes, it's like, so what did you get?
Speaker 1 (50:13):
Like, I don't know, I have no idea, but we
did it twice to somebody like fool me once, Shame
on you. Like that's crazy, It's absolutely crazy.
Speaker 2 (50:19):
I will show up next week with the exact details
because I think I'm pretty sure it's pretty good. I'm
pretty sure it's pretty good. If it was bad, I
probably wouldn't have brought it up at all. It would
probably been a raised for my mind's Like, yeah, we
traded James White for what was that guy's name running
back for.
Speaker 3 (50:34):
The Browns, Isaiah Crowell. It wasn't that. It wasn't that
type of deal it might.
Speaker 1 (50:39):
Have been, though it could have been. You don't remember
any of it, so we're gonna find out. All right,
we got Mighty in the house. What's up, Mighty?
Speaker 16 (50:45):
Hey? Can you hear me?
Speaker 1 (50:46):
We got you?
Speaker 14 (50:47):
All right?
Speaker 16 (50:48):
So I have two quick questions for the same league.
It's a single quarterback PPR with a tight end premium okay,
and start two in a flex. So it looks like
ACR has Dak Prescott pretty pretty far above Michael Pennox
this week. And I know Dak physically looked good. I
(51:08):
watched the whole game, but his fantasy output was awful. Yeah, am,
I are we really trusting Dak to bounce back this week?
Speaker 1 (51:18):
I am. I've got him pretty high. I will say, though,
that's interesting you brought up Penix because Pennix is the
one quarterback I had highlighted with Bogman saying like I
just am dying to try to get him higher. Like,
looks like London's going to go, Mooney's going to be back.
I think there's a lot of interesting stuff about Pennix.
I wouldn't be shocked if they're not super far off,
probably just like the Giant I saw. I like Dak
(51:39):
against the Giants. The defensive line is interesting with the Giants,
but I think they're going to shred the secondary. That's
me though. What do you think ericson Dak well over Penix?
Speaker 2 (51:48):
I think so. I mean you look at some of
the implied team totals. Dallas is eleventh this week and
Atlanta is twenty fifth. I mean they're playing on the road, right,
I mean, it's still Brian flora Is like, this defense
is not one that's Are they on the road or
are they playing at home?
Speaker 3 (52:03):
Falcons?
Speaker 1 (52:05):
Falcons? Are I just went away from it all they are.
Speaker 16 (52:10):
They're playing at Minnesota, thank you, thank.
Speaker 2 (52:13):
You mighty yeah, So on the road, Bryan, I gain
thankings have a couple of injuries.
Speaker 3 (52:19):
But I think that Dak is just also so good.
Speaker 1 (52:23):
Yeah, and Dakh the given if you care about this
stuff at all, the fifth best PFF rating for a
quarterback this week. As far as defensive matchup wide receiver coverage,
the Giants were nineteen of thirty two, so sub fifty percent.
Of the league. Running back coverage sub fifty percent of
the league, and really we only care about the wide
receiver coverage in this and the past pass rush is
(52:44):
pretty decent. But I really like Dak. Dak has rated
really well on PFF. So we're both team Dak here.
Speaker 16 (52:51):
Okay, Yeah, the Dak Pickens stack sank me.
Speaker 1 (52:56):
Last week, so Pickens also Pickens in this week? What
was was your second question?
Speaker 16 (53:02):
So against this tight end premium league, I have Brock
Bowers right now in my tight end spot, and it
looks like Godard's going to need to ride the bench
because he doesn't look like he's going to be playing
since he's not practicing yet. So I am going to
be starting Bill for Thursday night. I know, no, no
(53:23):
Thursday night questions?
Speaker 1 (53:24):
Yeah, good starts yeah.
Speaker 3 (53:30):
And then.
Speaker 16 (53:32):
So my my, it's actually start three flex. I have
got key On, Coleman, Ricky, piersall my flex and then
I'm looking at like Ken Walker or Pickens.
Speaker 1 (53:41):
Oh I'm Pickens here?
Speaker 3 (53:43):
Wait? Wait is Piercel already starting?
Speaker 1 (53:45):
Then Pierce's already starting in my wide receiver slot.
Speaker 16 (53:48):
I've got Digs in amnra, I've got Kamara and Bill
in my running back slots, and then I've got a
key On Coleman, Ricky Pearsall ken Walker.
Speaker 1 (54:01):
What he's doing in his head is does he want
to start ken Walker over Keon Coleman. I think here
because there's no tight end premium. Is that what you're doing?
Erickson like in that flex because the question is ken
Walker or Pickens In the last flex spot, I think
you're getting a cone your face. You're getting confused. But
like you could also if you want, in this scenario,
(54:22):
you could say I like ken Walker enough that I
want to kick Keon Coleman out of the list. Don't
you dare kick pearsall We're not kicking pearsall out.
Speaker 2 (54:28):
No no, no, no no no no, So I can't, Okay,
I just I just think that Keon Coleman might not
be that great.
Speaker 3 (54:35):
I think he's going to get the sauce this week from.
Speaker 1 (54:38):
Ken Walker is also pretty not good.
Speaker 3 (54:40):
No, no, that's what I mean.
Speaker 2 (54:42):
But if I'm going to pick a do I want
someone attached to the Bills offense or don't want someone
attached to the Seahawks. I think I'll just take my
chances with Keon Coleman, like he can win fifty ball,
So yeah.
Speaker 1 (54:52):
Okay, so picking, So are you good with Pickens over Walker?
Speaker 3 (54:56):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (54:57):
Okay, good questions, Mikey. I appreciate that stuff. And also
we couldn't figure out the game that there's so much
going on. As soon as someone's like, wait, who's the
home team, I'm like, oh my god, I've looked at
every other thing. It's not in my brain anymore. I
don't have it.
Speaker 2 (55:09):
So thank you for that, wait till the international game
started to who's who's the home team?
Speaker 3 (55:15):
Well, this game's in.
Speaker 1 (55:16):
Ireland, so yeah, exactly, all right, we got I don't
know if we're going to be able to get to
the chat today. Let's get our last couple in here.
We've got Sammy. Sammy's in the house.
Speaker 17 (55:27):
Hey guys, two quick questions half point PPR. I know
we felt good about debo on Thursday night? Right, gone
with or should I have gone with Ted and Evans?
Speaker 1 (55:48):
We definitely should have gone with TEDAROA would have been
my play over that.
Speaker 17 (55:54):
My my my bad. Second one is, second question is
Nick May or Dak Prescott?
Speaker 11 (56:06):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (56:06):
Those are both my boys?
Speaker 5 (56:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (56:08):
I got Where do you have Drake May this week?
Speaker 3 (56:11):
Ten?
Speaker 1 (56:12):
You get him in ten. Okay, I got him at seven.
Speaker 3 (56:13):
I think it's here is pretty high.
Speaker 2 (56:16):
Like I mean, considering what happened last week, I was
expecting it to be more of a downgrade. But ECR
is like pretty high on him. It's like, you know,
sometimes I big brain myself. We're like I need to
be so different from ECR. But at the same time,
it's like, oh, these are expert consensus. Like it's okay
to sometimes to agree with e c R. Because we
might be all we all just might be right.
Speaker 1 (56:36):
This might be super big brained every month, but he's
super start Stun the black rafter. What's up? Stun?
Speaker 7 (56:42):
Guys?
Speaker 6 (56:43):
We are just so back this season.
Speaker 1 (56:44):
We are back. We are very back. What do you got?
Speaker 3 (56:47):
We are back?
Speaker 7 (56:49):
All right?
Speaker 18 (56:50):
So I have two quick questions. The first one is,
I'm so this is a one QB full p p
R two flex lead Okay, And so my RB depth
is Christian McCaffrey, DeAndre Swift, Aaron Jones, and Jordan Mason.
I have Lamar at quarterback, Drake May is my backup.
(57:13):
Would you trade Lamar away for Chase Brown in order
to gain RB depth and put Drake May up at QB?
Speaker 1 (57:21):
So wait a minute, you can trade Lamar to get Joe. Wait,
you don't want it, Waia Holand you're not gonna treade
jam Lamar Jackson to get Jamar Chase.
Speaker 3 (57:28):
No, he said Chase Brown, right, Chase Brown?
Speaker 1 (57:31):
Yes, idiot, I'm dumb. Okay, so you still don't want
to do that, though, Dude, I hate the depth. I mean,
I like Jordan Mason, but he has Johndrew Swift as
a second.
Speaker 3 (57:44):
I don't want to trade higher.
Speaker 2 (57:46):
I would shoot higher than Chase Brown if I'm training
Lamar Jackson after what he just did, I want, I
want like Ash and Gent.
Speaker 1 (57:52):
I thought I was taking crazy pills. I'm like, what
are you saying no to Jamar Chase? My brain just
did not process.
Speaker 3 (57:58):
Wasn't Jamar Chase.
Speaker 1 (58:00):
That's a good point, though, is trying to shoot a
little bit higher with Lamar because it looked like we're
right back into just elite Lamar. I don't think it's
insane to go ask for I don't know if you
have a chan over Chase Brown. I mean it's pretty close.
Speaker 2 (58:13):
You don't think genty would get genty average two yards
to carry?
Speaker 1 (58:15):
Yeah, I think you can get gent. I think I
think I guess the thing we should probably focus on is, like,
you could do that trade. I'm down to do that trade.
So if you like a trade, I'm sorry for a
high end running back if you want to keep pursuing it,
but maybe shoot your sites a little bit higher before
you go, because you know Lamar is going to help
cover your running stats a little bit as well, so
(58:36):
make sure you're getting the tippy top. And I do
think it's a little weird though that, Like Chase Brown
was a darling of everybody so much this offseason. Oh
my god, he's going to be a second round pick.
And then like after week one and when he got
what nineteen carries and but he was inefficient, Everyone's like, yeah,
I don't know, he might not be super great. Like
that seems like a little too quick of a turn
to me.
Speaker 2 (58:57):
I would agree, but he's I mean, and he was
a first round pick or early second round pick, so
he was still going ahead of Chase Brown.
Speaker 1 (59:04):
Oh I'm not arguing getting genty. I'm just like I'm
talking like trading Lamar to get him. I think that
would have He was going before Lamar in every draft,
and now like after one week we don't want to
trade a quarterback to get a second round running back pick.
I think that's that seems a little reaction every point
with the good volume.
Speaker 3 (59:23):
So that's a good point.
Speaker 2 (59:25):
And yeah, the the Bengals Browns matchup, we talked about
it earlier where we shouldn't, you know, feed into that
too much because the Bengals always struggle against the Browns.
And something I talked about on one of the betting
shows that we did the Bengals games after they play
the Browns the last two seasons, all overs, every single
(59:45):
one because their offense stalls against the Cleveland Browns. People
get down on the Bengals the next week and then
they smith.
Speaker 1 (59:52):
Yeah, well friends, that is this episode. You guys don't know.
We don't talk about it. We got a couple of
people in the cube, Well guess what. We have a
little after party show that we do. What do we
call it? It was the two point conversion?
Speaker 2 (01:00:04):
Yep, what do you do after you score a touchdown
but you want more than just an extra point?
Speaker 1 (01:00:08):
Yeah, it's a two point?
Speaker 3 (01:00:09):
So are you?
Speaker 2 (01:00:10):
Are you the Browns or Falcons or forty nine ers
and your kickers? So you just decide where's going to.
Speaker 1 (01:00:15):
