Join up today. Fantasypros dot Com slash Chat. Oh hi,
Ericson didn't let you talk for like twelve minutes. What's up, buddy?

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Oh? Nothing, I don't worry. I was paying attention. I
wasn't going through my filing cabinet. I almost got my
hands stuck in there. But I'm ready to go. Well,
because the NFL season is as recording is one week
away or one week from betting Jalen Hurts anytime touchdowns.
I can't wait.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Man.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
I last night started, I'm starting my INDs season pro
When I say that, by the way, already my ind
season process as a content person, and that's a completely
different thing. So like locked in my week one rankings.
You and I we do a ton of shows during
the week. We do a couple that are going to
be together. So I was putting together our rank show.
Erickson's going to be a part of the big rank

(02:15):
show with FITZI and myself this season, but we also
do a prop show. I started, and I have like
a multi legged process where what I do is before
any lines are out, I kind of have like a
rudimentary like, here are guys that I want to monitor
what their lines look like. So I started to do that,
and then I realized some books have already got lines up.

(02:36):
So I started looking around, putting the notes up, doing
some of my research, and I'm just going to tell
you I have already locked in more than a week ahead,
my very first week one prop bet, and I'm pretty
dang excited about it because I think it's going to
go up. I've got a line of other ones. So
that's a little hat tip to next week. Ericson and

(02:56):
I in Piece of Pa will be on betting pros
on the Prop show, and I think we're going to
be tracking bets this year. We're just doing a lot
of fun stuff with it. I'm pretty stoked about it.
You and I have a blast. And after the show
we're going to have to talk about a little you
know who as we're going to squad You know, we're
gonna squad ride that certain player, right, I.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Mean, he's not the player that you have already locked
in the.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
No, no, no, I have to talk to you about it.
There's a certain player that you and I agreed about
six months ago that we were going to squad ride
and we might ladder it and his name might be wat.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Right.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Yeah, Hey, my Ryan was Schweywin Schwaddle. We'll have a
squad right, So go and check that out here. But
I know that's not all about that. But we are
prep We're ready for you guys more than ever. So
let's get to the show. Let's get to what you
guys have got. Hopefully we're gonna bring up some audience
in here you're gonna hear from We've got a chat
going on and hopefully it'll keep filling up. So first
up on the line, is did I click it correctly?

(03:52):
Our boy father man, Father Man's always got some fantasy questions.
What's up?

Speaker 3 (03:56):
What's going on?

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Well, we're doing pretty good, dude. How are you doing?

Speaker 3 (04:01):
Hell, I'm just driving down the roads.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
You guys ready to smash the I got. I just
got people all over me. Someone was asking a Survivor
question and I was just like begles and it's like, well,
their defense is so bad. Brown's Week one. I'm all
Bengals just whooping on the Browns Week one. Are you
ready for that? Father man?

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Oh yeah, I've already got that one on the on
the pick a bet, on the Survivor League, and also
of the VP show.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Either man, I'm ready to win some money this year.
Let's do it.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Let's do it. Let's say some more ladders. All right,
what do you got for us on the show?

Speaker 3 (04:31):
U just the kind of a beety question. Uh, I've
got a top picking a twelve team.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
Superplix raft and uh I got the second overall, I
just want to get you guys thoughts. I'm probably not
gonna do it, But what do y'all thought on like
taking like chase it too instead of one of the
quarterbacks man, I don't like the Wadians up sometimes, but
sometimes it HiT's okay, I'm just hereious you do.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
It, I don't do it. I'm I'm pretty strict. Top
five picks, I'm taking one of those quarterbacks. But when
it comes to pick six, I'm all about. That has
been my strategy and super flex across the board. If
I get to pick six, I'm taking the top position
players and then I'm waiting the quarterback until the third round.
But if you're if you're gifted the opportunity of Allen
or Lamar, I believe you should take it. What do
you think, Erickson?

Speaker 2 (05:14):
Yeah, I think that just going with the quarterback. I'm curious.
Did you say that it was full PPR half PPR.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
It's a full BPR, two receivers, two legs.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Okay, yeah, I guess the case can be stronger for
some of the skill position players in full PPR versus half.
But just I mean Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, they play
each other Week one, they're both gonna score like thirty
five Fantasy points. Like they're just so locked and loaded
the dual threat, and they both have like because they're

(05:45):
not so reliant on top tier wide receiver weapons because
those teams rely kind of more on depth. You know,
if someone misses time, you're not even like concerned about
Oh no, Like it's like if Josh Allen doesn't have
Josh Palmer for a week or two, what's gonna happen.
There's like nothing changes. You're just like whatever, like score
thirty fantasy points no matter what. Whereas like if Joe
Burrow loses like Chase or something like that, well then

(06:06):
you're like, oh, like this is is kind of concerning.
So yeah, I think those two guys are just too
good at the top to.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
To go simply tear you good. What was question number two?

Speaker 3 (06:19):
I never did I get it. I'm not gonna do
it anyway, but I've just never heard the argument. Really,
I talked about it, and now I'm just curious that. Uh.
I mean, I've got to take John Moffett a few times.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
I tried it both ways, and I just didn't like
what I ended up a quarterback or even running back
at that at that.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Point, you know, I mean, yeah, no, I'm with you.
That's why I'm just pretty strict and firmed to it.
So last night I do this league Ericsona familiar. I
probably talked about it last year. The Pentathlon League.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
Is this the one that goes through multiple sports?

Speaker 1 (06:48):
No, so that I do do that. It's a three
sport league. This is uh, my friend, I know, I'm hey, listen,
I live that fantasy life. I tried to do a
little bit of all of it different. Derek Van Riper
from the Athletic Fits He's in this, by the way,
no big deal. Me and Bogman share a team winners
last year. Number one. It's five events. Yeah, it's a flex.

(07:09):
There's an auction super flex league. There's a best Ball
you do weekly pick them survivor and a DFS contest
and each one can pay out how he finish and
then you accumulate overall points. So again, me and Bogman
smashing winners last year. But last night we did our
auction draft because we're already in our best ball. We

(07:31):
went studs and scrubs you know where we and it's
super flex two tight end, three wide receiver with a flex.
We opened the draft with Jamar Chase and we got
him at forty two bucks with you know, Y'allhoo's dollars,
saying he's around sixty something. We had three other players
go for more money than him, and then we were

(07:52):
able to tap Josh Allen for like thirty six dollars.
We tapped a little Christian mccaffre reaction because I forced it,
and then we got a Mark Andrews. So we went
like the Studs and scrubs, but Josh Allen and Jamar
Chase in a you know, super flex to tight end.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
H M, I mean, and Christian McCaffrey. I mean, you
got and Christian McCaffrey.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
We got ten dollars.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
Mark andrew be the number one at their prospective positions.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
And wide receiver two was Courtland Sutton, and then we
got for under ten bucks, Ricky Pirosol and Jacoby Myers.
So beautiful. I'm just I'm just touting here. I mean,
you guys don't want to come on here and you know,
promote your teams. I'm going to I'm going to come
on here, and you know what, my you want to
know what my absolute favorite moment of that auction was,
because I'm not a big auction guy because I hate
the time, but would you like to know what it was?

(08:39):
Ericson Yes, okay, thank you, thank you for the setup.
Fitzie went hard on quarterbacks. He paid up big for Lamar,
and he paid up big for Jayden Daniels, and then
we were going for quarterback number two. We put Purty up,
and fitz decided to price enforce and we stuck him

(09:00):
with Purty. It's my favorite moment of the whole draft.
His third quarterback ended up spending way too much for
a third quarterback. We stuck him for like fifteen sixteen
bucks for Brock Purty. I forgot why I love auctions.
And it's moments like that where people should not price
him force and then you stick them. God, it made
me happy, so happy.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
Yeah, but Rock Purty is the quarterback of your team.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
I don't care. I stuck someone else. I stuck somebody else.
I made them lose money when.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
He throws touchdowns and it'll benefit fits.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
On his bench. No, it won't. It'll be on his bench.
It was his third quarterback. He'll never play Purtty except
for two weeks the whole season.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
And guys get hurt sometimes.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
We got Cortland Sutton for cheaper. We got Ricky Piersall
and Mark Andrews I think combined for cheaper than the
third quarterback. I'm just saying, like that little vindictiveness, like
that is a really nice thing about auction leagues or
you know whatever you end up calling them. Uh make Tanda. Sorry,
I just wanted to like gloat and talk about auction
for a second, and that we got you.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
This is flex. This is flex your roster season right now.
One week before the season starts with all of our
teams and then it's a heft week one, we look
be like, oh my god, what have I done?

Speaker 1 (10:10):
Oh I'm gonna be like what a dumbati at I am?
We got an injury quarterback. If we only had Brock Purty,
oh my got you know, a hundred percent. But like
right now, I can have Laio.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
Right now, everybody has a plus draft grade. Once team's elite,
you're gonna win it all. And we'll see if that
sticks after week one.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
Yes, sir mcdonda, what's up, dude?

Speaker 5 (10:28):
How's it going?

Speaker 2 (10:28):
Guys?

Speaker 1 (10:29):
Pretty good?

Speaker 3 (10:29):
Man?

Speaker 1 (10:30):
What you got?

Speaker 6 (10:31):
First and foremost ericson, I'm riding your Jordan Mason leading
league in rushing.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
So let's go.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
We have fun.

Speaker 7 (10:40):
Uh.

Speaker 6 (10:40):
And then so week one we have three flexes in
our league. There, so my third flex I'm debating between
Keon Coleman, Jaden Cocher or uh, this is three.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
There's this is for one flex spot.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
You're deciding between one flex spot.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
My other flex spots are occupied. Okay, so ke On Coleman, Cocher,
and who's the Luther Burdon. It's a pretty firm Coleman.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
You're not starting Burden. I think I think it's between
Coleman and Cocker. Honestly. I think it's like, honestly if
he's kind of close, but I think that I would
probably just go towards the game total with the Ravens
and Bill. I mean that game could be thirty points
on each side. I think on Coleman's got more touchdown
equity than probably Jalen Coker does. Even though Jim Coker

(11:26):
is also going to be a starter, would you.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
Move him up to there's a lot of push. They
confirmed he's going to be the slot receiver. It's fun.
Feeling's gone, but you still got Tete Row, you still
got Lagett. I've seen a lot of people like you know,
doing the like where have you got Cocher? It's too
low and it's like is it so? Where do you
have him?

Speaker 2 (11:42):
The classing bit. I love.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
It's my favorite bit. Wherever he is, he's too low
and it's like, okay.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
I got him wide receiver sixty.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
I mean yeah, they're about the same, but he's like right.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
In my essential like my wide receiver sleeper tier where
he's like, hey, your receiver with your last pick, and
in that tier is like Tillman, Josh Palmer or Sean Bateman.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
Yeah, that's so funny. I have him next to Tilman.
That's funny. It's so funny you said that because I
put him like right with Tilman, So.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
I'm with you. That's like that same tier of But
like again, he went from basically being like someone that
you're not you wouldn't really even consider in like most
again in deeper leagues, he was already gained drafted, but
now like fifteenth round you need a wide receiver. I
actually don't mind the idea of like if you draft
Tetro McMillan earlier on and you can get Cocher kind
of like as a wide receiver. Again, it's not like

(12:29):
an exact like running back handcuff, but McMillan has been
doing with like this hamshing injury a little bit. So
you know, for some reason he's unavailable to start Week
one or something like that happens, well, then Coker would
probably be a pretty strong start. So mc ton to
just keep paying attention to the injury reports for the Panthers.
If for some reason McMillan can't go, I think Coker
then kind of becomes an auto start, honestly, if he's
gonna be the wide receiver one against the Jaguars.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
Yeah one, yeah, but Coleman, it's a pretty easy answer for.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
At least here. Yeah, yeah, Coleman for week one.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
Yes, Jorge the Lefty premium member of the Fantasy Pros
discord access to everything. This shows access to everybody as
long as you have like a free Fantasy Pros account.
But jorgees not blocked out of anything. And Jorges on
the line, what's.

Speaker 5 (13:10):
Up, dude, Hey guys, I appreciate the access. My first
time playing Fantasy this league this year, and I've got
three leagues, so oh like ever so ever, yeah, one
league kind of went all in just what I do,
so that's cool. The drafts tonight, both snake both half
PPR and I'm drafting under one twelve for both at

(13:32):
the turn kind of what's available, like then thinking wide
receiver running back, but at the turn, I really only
have maybe like Taylor Bucky and Chase Brown, maybe Kyen
as well. Kind of curious like what you guys would
suggest in terms of the right running back in that situation.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
Because wait, wait, wait, because this is redraft. Correct, Because
like you're saying, you don't expect gent or a Chan
or anybody to be available.

Speaker 5 (13:55):
This is this is redraft. So I'm expecting like late
in the round, maybe they see Henry Chant and McCaffrey gone.
So it's really going to be like up to Taylor,
Bucky and Chase. I know Chase has been going up
to ECR, but is that worth doing the pick at
the one and twelve between the three of them?

Speaker 1 (14:10):
Are you out on a Chan?

Speaker 5 (14:12):
I'm I think I'm out on a Chan. I need
the injury risk there. Unless you think that it's worth
taking the risk.

Speaker 8 (14:18):
I do.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
And it's because you said it's PPR. A Chan for
all intentsive purposes, looks.

Speaker 5 (14:22):
Like he's good to GOPR.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
Oh half PPR. Okay, Well, it doesn't really change anything
for me. For me, it's a lot of the times
it's about positional stuff, like I don't get too hyper focused.
It's I'm sorry about the players. I don't get too
hyper focused on like I gotta have this or this.
Like if I'm staring at a great value at running
back and then there's this collection of you know, Drake
London's and Brian Thomas's and whatever, it's like, cool, I'll

(14:45):
take that running back and that guy. If a bunch
of those running backs go and you are left with
a Bucky in them, but then you're staring at you know,
three of again, Brian Thomas, Drake London, Like, I'm gonna
take those white outs for sure. So it's really about
positional stuff. But I think the big key here is
if those main running backs you mentioned are not there,
I'm still kind of an A Chan guy, I think

(15:07):
in those formats. So like if I got London and
a Chan, I'm really kind of game for it. But Ericson,
you're better suited. What do you think about this turn,
this turn strategy he should implement.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
I think that half PPR. I think I might just
give the light slight lean to Jonathan Taylor. I just
think that he is one of the guys that's of
the names you listed, and he's probably the best bet
to like see three hundred carries. Like, I get that
his receiving ceiling isn't necessarily super high, but this is
over Jones. Sorry say that again.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
This is over Bucky Jonathan Taylor over Butler.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
Yeah, okay, I mean I just think that he could
see like three I mean, like, how many running backs
have we seen? Our coaches give him thirty carries in
a game of this tier? Yeah, McCaffrey's well, but he's
a tier above.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
It, right, Oh yeah, yeah, yeah to your point, sure.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
That's what I mean. Like, there's no other team that
would just basically give everything to their that specific player
than Jonathan Terror and the Colts. So I think in
half PBR, I think that he is pretty safe. I'm
also not out on a chan Again, I think if
especially full PBR, I'd probably consider taking them over JT
just because of the upside that we saw last year
when Tua was healthy. And look, we know who the

(16:15):
handcuff is. It's Allie Gordon, right, Jen writes hurt Alexander
Madison's on in your reserve. So if you draft eight chant,
just make sure you draft Alli Gordon. Later on, in
your draft, and you should be good even if a
Chan missus Week one. It says that he's gonna be okay,
but just kind of with that precautionary addition. So that's
kind of how I would probably play it.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
Yeah, we're not like Hora. I mean, list Ericson smarter
than me, finished better than the ranks, so listen to him.
But like a Chan, Bucky, those are my order before
JT and I would I'd be fine go I like
a Chan and apparing with one of those wide receivers.
I think you got some really good choices. Was there
a second question on your other draft?

Speaker 5 (16:50):
Yeah? There was, and so the other to both drafts
are have PPR, but one is a six point passing
TD and the other is a four point passing TD
in the six point Does it make sense then to
go for a Burrough Jalen Hurts Daniels at the three
four turn? Or should I just punch the position entirely
and just try to pick up another wide receiver or

(17:10):
we're running back instead?

Speaker 1 (17:12):
If Lamar is there, you know what to do? What
do you think Ericson? Are you gonna prioritize quarterback a
little bit more?

Speaker 2 (17:17):
In that format, Yeah, I think I would. I've just
been way more open to the elite quarterback this year
than I think probably ever honestly, And it's because I
look at how strong those quarterbacks project, of the elite
passers between Lamar, Allen Hurts and Jayden Daniels, and then
I look at the receivers and running backs in that range,

(17:37):
and I just I feel like I could poke so
many holes in those guys that I'm like, why take
the risk when I don't feel super confident or as
confident as I can just lock in a guy who's
going to finish top three at his position if he
stays healthy, like that's it, Like that's how those guys fail,
as if they get hurt and okay, well I have
to go to the waiver wire. Oh I have to
play Jordan Love or j Stroud off like you're fine, Oh,

(18:00):
you'll be okay. So I'm way more open, especially when
it's six points for passing touchdown, Like it's just it's
really hard to lose weekly matchups when you have a
guy scoring forty points in your lineup every single week
between these elite quarterbacks. So that's the way I've been
playing it, and It's definitely different from what I've traditionally done,
which is always kind of been like late round, late round,
late round, just looking at how many points those guys

(18:22):
actually score. I've been really kind of changing my tune.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
I have not shied away from the elite quarterbacks. When
given the opportunity, I'd say, like, if I really hated
the positional players, it's like, not my guys, Like I
don't love the wide receivers, don't love the running backs
and Burrows sitting on the board, Smash, Shade Daniels, smash
if not. I'd also say in that format, though, like
if there's some really great positional drops, we had a
draft where like AJ Brown is like dropping a bunch,

(18:48):
and if you just get some of those weird drops,
I still don't hate the idea. But I do this
much more strictly. Where people say late round quarterback, I
do stat quarterback late and it's like give me Dak
and give me Kleb, or give me Dak and Purdy,
you know, give me fields and Dak, Like give me
two guys in the seventh or eighth round. Dak has
in that format with a lot of passing touchdowns. I

(19:09):
think is actually this even like a tiny bit better,
So you could do something like that if there's great
positional players, but don't be afraid to stack one of
those quarterbacks, or not stack, but take one of those
quarterbacks at three four that have like really high volumes. Great,
great question, and or hey, congrats, I love that you're
like first time ever and you went all in with
three and hopefully Fantasy Pros got you set up and
hopefully and if you haven't already, or hey, all these

but Jorge is already a winner, So thanks brother, Go
and check it out Fantasypros dot com slash Assistant for
your last minute drafts. The Ronan Ronan is in could
be multiple Ronans by the way. This could be the
Ninja Turtle Ronan, or this could also be the ron

(21:00):
In that was Hawkeye, so I don't know which, and
it could be none of them too. It could be
some anime thing, but I just wanted to point out
all the potential runins that are out there.

Speaker 5 (21:07):
What's up, dude, the man we killed multitudes in terms
of the Romans.

Speaker 1 (21:12):
That's right.

Speaker 8 (21:13):
So I've got two I'm in two leagues at point
at PPR. But the one question I have is one
of them does not hold the tight end position. We
have three flexes or two flexes, three wide receivers and
two running backs, and I was curious, is there any
value in picking up tight ends for the flex spots
at any point in the in the drafting process this

(21:35):
year or just.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
What's the form? I'm sorry, did you say half or full?

Speaker 2 (21:39):
Or it's half?

Speaker 1 (21:41):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (21:41):
Half? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (21:42):
I think you A really good way to do it
is kind of like line up how your league's format
points per game. I've done a couple of these, the
flex leagues, Jake Sealey's industry leagues. We don't have a
quote tight end position. We have like flex and then
we have what's called a wide receiver tight end flex.
So you can put either in there, and you ended
up seeing like Bowers and McBride and Kittle, or well,

(22:04):
Bowers and McBride specifically kind of go around where they
go and tight ends and then like maybe Kittle and
then things started to slow down. But in that deeper format,
I was forced to take like Jake Ferguson still on
the lower end. So I'm saying all of this to say, like, yes,
tight ends are valuable, but I think after like the
top two or three, they start to drop a few

(22:24):
rounds and then you're starting to compare their value versus
like the upside of wide receivers ericson. What do you
think about that?

Speaker 2 (22:31):
I think for me, you have to approach the certain
tight ends with the idea of touchdown outside because in
half PPR, because Titans are not going to separate themselves
by you know, seeing twelve targets a game, there's only
a handful of guys that even get that type of volumes.
So how do you get tight ends that actually producing

(22:52):
your lineup? As flex plays? They have to score touchdowns.
So that's what I'm looking for when I'm looking at
tight ends, like on my flex so whether that's he's
attached to my quarterback so that you can kind of
double dip, and that's how I'm approaching it. Where they
basically have to be in high powered offenses, Like that's
the only kind of tight end that I'm interested in.

(23:12):
So someone that's really interesting in going back to flex.
I know I'm still in my flex but draft where
it's a slow draft and it's best ball, so we're
like in the seventeen to eighteenth round. But guys that
felt like you said, like Jake Ferguson Dalton Kinkaid, Right, yeah,
I see him catching, like catching a decent amount of
touchdowns if he just is like the red zone guy
for Josh Allen this year again, the James Cook touchdowns.
If he doesn't score nineteen touchdowns again, then someone's going

(23:35):
to catch them. And if it's Kinkaid, well, all he
has to do is catch a touchdown and that's going
to immediately probably help him produce in your lineup, because
you know, a Titan that catches four passes for forty yards,
like that's not doing anything like that's not going to
help you. So aim for the guys that are going
to catch a lot of touchdowns in these non tight
like where tight ends aren't required, because I think that's

(23:56):
basically how they can help separate against like some of
the receivers and running.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
Backs I just did a bold prediction show on in
this League show Bogs and I do, and one of
my bold predictions is Dalton Kincaid finishes as a top
six tight end this year. It's wild. You go over
to Fantasy Points, which I love everything that they do,
and you start to look at some of the underlying
stuff on Kinkid and it's like top ten design percentage,

(24:23):
top ten, God, what was it? Top ten? I think
target percentage top I mean he's top ten across the board.
I don't have the cheet in front of me and
they'll take forever to get there. But it was like
yards per route run, like, it's pretty wild. Some of
the ad ot like the stuff that he's got underlying
with some of that big underperformance, and then you take
out like the questionable like where the where the guys

(24:46):
I'm not doing the greatest sell here, go listen to
the episode, but a bunch of those interesting stats over
on Fantasy Points data that just like jumped out to
me about King Caid. You're just like, wow, if he
just sees a little bit more of a target share
the way they does it, I mean the design plays
the way that he would like at the tippy top
of some of the production that you saw from guys
like Kelsey and or not Kelsey, like Kittle and Mark

(25:06):
Andrews and them. So I think Kink is like a
really fun one that you threw in there. Let's go too, Okay,
I don't realize if I hit this right, Jay Spark,
Did I hit that right? Premium member on the discord,
What's up?

Speaker 3 (25:16):
Dude?

Speaker 1 (25:17):
You got on mute? There we go going on what's up?

Speaker 9 (25:21):
They have a week one starting RB. Question went Nico
and neighbors to start the draft, and my wife's usually
looking pretty stellar, but our big room not so great.
So my RB two, I'm looking at either Harvey or
or Mason. You guys have a preference there, Harvey.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
I think maybe Mason's a tiny bit safer. I suppose
this is a tough one because Ericson you're big on
uh on Mason rest of the way through a big
explosive plays by the way, I like Mason over Aaron
Jones at this point, but I don't know, man, I
think r J. Harvey is too explosive, even if he
loses some early carries. I just don't see how they're
going to keep him off the field. He's gonna catch

(26:03):
balls out of the backfield. But I say, Harvey, what
do you say, Ericson?

Speaker 2 (26:08):
Yeah, I mean you definitely drafted Harvey ahead of Jones
or excuse me, of Mason. So I'm just gonna probably
take the guy that I drafted first, and I think
that both guys will be in a timeshare in Week one.
But we just look at the matchups, well, I don't
even have to tell you necessarily, opponents, do you want
to play the running back for the team that's at
home favored by more than a touchdown? Or do you
want to take the team that's more of a pickup

(26:29):
game that's playing on the road in Chicago with a
quarterback making his first NFL.

Speaker 1 (26:34):
Start touchdown at home?

Speaker 2 (26:35):
Baby, yes exactly, which is why you want to Fay
take the Broncos, like that's my survivor pick Broncos. They're
going to kill the tight ends week one. Like like,
so I understand the values with guys like Tony Pollard
and Calvin Ridley. I think Week one is gonna be
rough for that entire Titans offense. Like like, I just
I think that if you don't get any of those
Titans players like a Pollard or a Ridley. You're gonna

(26:56):
be buying a loon on them in week two like that.
That's kind of my move when it comes the Titans.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
I dig it, I dig that one. Uh, let's go
to red Bird, red Beard, stupid Red be I not you,
red Beard. I'm stupid. It's like a cardinal thing.

Speaker 4 (27:11):
I was going to say.

Speaker 1 (27:12):
Damn, man, I know it's one of those days. Brother.
It's been a long, long season. We're prepping. I talk
a lot of the tru.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
Season or I mean you've been doing You've been doing
a double duty with baseball.

Speaker 1 (27:22):
Oh, I don't stop on baseball and football. I don't
have a break point. But also I'm working on trying
to talk a little bit slower so I'm more articulate.
And I turned you into a bird, but you are
the red of beards, And what do you got for us?

Speaker 10 (27:35):
All Right, I've got one league that still hasn't done
their rookie direct nice right, So it kind of worked out.
I thought I was picking up Quinn Sewan, but I
may not. Now I've got I know who I'm taking.
I've got the one O one, one O six one. Awight,
I know I'm taking genty.

Speaker 3 (27:52):
With the one O one.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
Where would y'all lean with.

Speaker 3 (27:55):
The one O six one awight?

Speaker 10 (27:57):
Because I got an offer for either the one O
six for onewaight of mclauren and Jordan Mason.

Speaker 1 (28:06):
I mean I would sell that one O eight for McLaurin. Yeah,
in Mississippi minute.

Speaker 2 (28:12):
One O eight could be is someone trying to trade
up for ja Corey Crosskey Merrit. I don't know at
the one way. I mean they could be. And it's
like if you could trade the Coury Cross and Maria
for Terry McLaurin and Jordan Mason, It's like, yeah, that's uh,
that's do you get.

Speaker 1 (28:28):
Both McLaurin and Mason or just you get to pick
one of them for the eight.

Speaker 2 (28:32):
He offered those two.

Speaker 7 (28:33):
He hasn't actually sent a deal, so I was going
to see if you'd do both, and I'd throw a
third in if I had to, because I have two thirds.

Speaker 1 (28:40):
Is also, I will singularly sell that eight for either
one of those players or both or whatever. So I
think that's a good job. I just I'm not trading
the sex.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
I wouldn't do for one and one. Terry mclaurran's older
and Jordan Mason is also like not like a super
young running back, so.

Speaker 7 (28:57):
The other receivers he has because I know y'all have
been big on Calvin Ridley because he's got Calvin Ridley
and Court and Sutton in that same kind of I.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
Guess, like, but it's still like they're still like there's
still receivers past their age APEX. Like that's my concern
about trading a first round pick for them.

Speaker 1 (29:16):
So then like you're concerned you're trading away like Tyler
Warren for one of these guys.

Speaker 2 (29:22):
Yeah, I mean if it's I don't think Warren's gonna
be there.

Speaker 7 (29:26):
Like where you thinking Buca is going one? You think
I can grab him at one oh six?

Speaker 2 (29:31):
Yeah, that's probably where he's going to be slotted in.
It depends on like because Travis Hunter is always like
a wild card because you never know where he's going
to go. But it's going to be some combination of
GENTI I mean, I don't know, Like it seems like
one way, it's probably gonna have somebody pretty valuable just
because like the running back values have kind of been
in flux and is like really counted pool.

Speaker 1 (29:49):
So let's do it real quick come on, so it's genty,
let's go gent tet A, Marion, Travion. Let's just call
that the four. So then if Travis is a wild card,
you're either getting a Hunter Orgbuka at six, the other
probably goes at five. So now going to eight, there's
the outside chance. So now Warren is it's either Warren

(30:10):
or Harvey is there. So now we are kind of
throwing out something. You are trading away either Warren or
Harvey or someone better by the way for Jordan Mason
and Terry McLaurin. So that does kind of change the
scope a little bit, especially if you can get RJ. Harvey.
So maybe back to Erickson's point, if you're getting both
of those pieces, that's kind of like a smash smash

(30:31):
ish by because it's really great depth. But know you're
in theory giving up one of those guys. Or if
someone is reaching for a Harvey or like Erickson says,
he's not going to be there. If Warren goes, then
all of a sudden, Agbuka or Travis Hunter falls to eight,
and that is actually pretty crazy.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
Yeah, I think i'd probably just I mean, if he
hasn't said the offer, you just make him, just send
him an offer when you're on the clock, like, there's
no need to rush it. I think that you should
keep the ball in your court. You can make the decision.
You decide, because then it's like depending on who's there,
like you might be able to ask for or like
let's say he's a Travis Hunter bull and he's like,
oh my god, like Travis Hunters like I'm going to
give you a future first, and the rest of those

(31:06):
guys like something like that. So I think, yeah, I think,
just based on the way that the rookies have kind
of moved a little bit, I think one of weight
still holds a lot of value versus other years. There's
gonna be probably a decently strong profile or player there
and worst case scenario, you just stick and pick best
cases you get more back. So yeah, I think you
just hold and see who's on the board.

Speaker 1 (31:26):
By the way I pulled up this stuff, I wanted
to do this to just not sound like the biggest
morn on the planet, my kincaid stuff. So pulling up Kinkaid, here,
here's your top four and air yards share it tight end.
Last year McBride, Bowers, Kelsey Kittle number five Dalton Kincaid
about a two percent off of where George Kittle was.

(31:47):
Target percentage about the same, just off of George Kittle,
higher than you know, Henry Hawkinson Laporta. However, you want
to end up throwing that out. Yards per risk reception
was high up there. Design Plays was top five, and
Designs First Reads he was I believe number five. He

(32:09):
was a percent less than a percent off from George Kittle.
So I'm throwing out is like you're talking about a
dude that's getting yak after reception at an elite level
air yard shares that are at an elite level. I mean,
he's doing a bunch of that stuff. That's a top
with the tippy top guy. So if he starts to
get the targets again, like that's what That's where I'm
laying out some of the Dalton Kincaid style.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
I mean, I agree with you. I think that Dalton
king Kaid is a good tight end option. My issue
with him is he goes in the range of Tucker Kraft,
Colston Lovelan, and Tyler Warren. I'm like, that's like, that's
why I haven't picked it nearly as much. But I
definitely agree with the bullish case for him and just
as like an overarching thought I've been thinking about with

(32:51):
the Bills, there are no Bills receivers that are going
inside the top one hundred picks. Despite Josh Allen being
the QB one. Someone's gonna hit, Someone's gonna hit like
they're like, there's no Like We're gonna look back and
be like, oh my god, why was this? Why was
Bill's ex receiver or they're tight end going so late
when Josh Allen was literally the QB one a year long?

(33:12):
Like like, so take you got to take shots on
Bill's players, Like again, maybe I know last year my
uh talking about getting tattoos, a certain things did not
pan out. I think it was like Broncos running backs
and like Packers wide receivers, it was really bad, had
to get the tattoo removal. But this year it would
be get a Bill's skill player not named James Cook

(33:33):
on your team and just see how things shake out.
Because someone is being vastly undervalued, especially with Khalil Shakira
missing basically all of training camp with a high ankle sprain.
Who's Josh Allen been throwing to Josh Palmer he's been
throwing to key On Coleman, Dolty king k like you
laid out. I mean, I am a Josh Palmer like
slappy like I need, I so badly want him to

(33:54):
hit in some way. I actually listed up my my
guys for this year well shod and I Josh Palmer
made the cut as my fifty year wide receiver breakout.

Speaker 3 (34:02):
So I like it.

Speaker 1 (34:03):
I like Banshee and the Chat too. That says, Hey, Ericson,
thanks for the Kincaid info. That was me okay, the
CAD info, even though I sound like an idiot, but yes,
thank you did say it louder and more succinctly and better,
and you're more well respected and I'm a stupid idiot,
so okay, But Kincaid, we are drafted. We're not drafting
me over Warren in Craft, by the way, but we

(34:23):
are just saying that there's a lot of potential upside.
So thank you Ericson for the awesome information. Let's go
to our boy perception and then the ques open. By
the way, we'll look at Chat unless more hands get raised.
But what's up perception?

Speaker 11 (34:39):
Hey guys, thanks for getting me on here. Absolutely don't
usually trade before week one. But I've got a trade
off for coming in from the McCaffrey owner. He wants
to get Brian Robinson for me as well as Josh Downs,
and he's offering Jamison Williams.

Speaker 3 (34:52):
This is league.

Speaker 1 (34:54):
Oh my god, I love that. Yeah, you hate doing
anything nice for him because he as McCaffrey and that's
like a benefit. But you're getting more such a good deal.

Speaker 11 (35:05):
So yeah, the only reason I'm hesitant with this, well,
I guess there's two reasons I would have to pick
between starting Jamison Williams and Wattle. So Williams maybe it
wouldn't even start for me depending on how Wattle does.
And the other reason is I feel like if McCaffrey
does get hurt, I'm gonna be able to get way
more than that for Brian Robinson.

Speaker 1 (35:24):
Yeah, I see what you're getting at, but like, if
he doesn't, you have dead weight. Jamison Williams is a
player that could jump guys like Wattle when you're dealing
with your Bie Weeks. It's just just too good. It's
too good of an asset to get to me.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
It's yes, there's probably a better time where you could
sell Brian Robinson, but maybe you don't know when that's
going to be. It's like trying to sell a stock
at the exact time that it's going to peak before
it dips.

Speaker 1 (35:52):
It's like crypto where they're like you got to be
in there for like thirty seconds when it all goes
and you have to get out and you got to
be on Salona and whatever, and that's selling.

Speaker 2 (35:59):
Brian Robinson, Yeah, it's to me, it's just it's so
hard to pinpoint that exact time when it's the perfect
time to sell, when someone is giving you a more
than has already given you a great offer to get out.
Now it's like sick, Like now you don't have to
worry about like you're out of the McAffrey business like whatever,
Like it's not your problem anymore. Now your problem is,
oh I got to start between Waddall and Jamison Williams.
To me, that's a good problem to have.

Speaker 1 (36:20):
Yeah, listen, Brian Robinson. Coin is not something for the
weak of heart. And if you are getting a cash
out option instead of trying to go to the moon,
I'm I'm going to cash out on a great buyout
instead of trying to moon it.

Speaker 2 (36:34):
And I want to be and I understand that Shanahan
came out and said that Brian Robinson's like the RB
two and he's the guy there, and I get that,
but we also saw Brian Robinson get basically abandoned by
his team because they thought that he was average. He's
not a special running back. So even if he is
the guy that gets their work for the first time,

(36:55):
that Ford Nyer's offensive line is still super fragile because
it's Trent Williams or bust and he's thirty seven years old.
And if he doesn't hit like Jordan Mason did last year, well,
they have two other guys that they might want to
go to. Grenda like he's super like the think with Grendo,
He's always hurt, but he offers one thing I think
that none of the other running backs behind McCaffrey do,
and Wells correct me if I'm wrong, But dude, he's

(37:16):
way more explosive than both Jordan James and Brian Robinson
is like, he has way more juice than those guys.

Speaker 1 (37:22):
I agree. I get pushback from Bogman a lot about
Jordan James, but like Grindo, open Field, like Girndo to me,
is the closest representation of like what Raheem Mostert was,
was it this team? And if you remember Raheem Moster,
it's like open field twenty four miles per or like
big I guess mad a glass made a glass exactly
living proof.

Speaker 2 (37:40):
It's like condo is so like That's why I get that, Like, yes,
Bryan Robinson Junior should be the handcuff that you draft,
but I don't think that he's going to have. If
McCaffrey goes down, it's going to be the Jordan Mason
runout from last year. I don't think it's going to
be exactly the same. It could start like that, but
I think that it's much more of a tougher bet

(38:02):
than it was last year because a lot of those
other players really weren't about grind. It was a rookie,
so they weren't going to necessarily lean on him significantly,
and they drafted Jordon James. Like Jordon James, I don't
think is like a bad running back. I think that
he's kind of like Brian Robinson where he's just like
kind of does everything okay. But Grendo offers something that
the other running backs don't, and that's Juice the pass
catcher out of the back obviously can only happen in

(38:24):
limited spurts because they think it's banged up. But it
wouldn't surprise me if he maybe has a little bit
more of a role alongside of Brian Robinson. If something
happens to McCaffrey.

Speaker 1 (38:33):
So perception also said, it frees up a roster spot
to go pick up Dylan Samson.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
Yes, absolutely, yeah, that's you gotta do it. You gotta
slam that trade.

Speaker 1 (38:41):
Super tough thing he asked too. He says, if the
trade goes through, do you start Waddle or Jamison Williams. Listen,
Ericson and I are on the wattle bus. I just
kind of think Jamison Williams is going to eat in
this first week as well. So this is a really
tough question.

Speaker 2 (38:58):
But like I just like, you know, whichever one you start,
you then bet the over on the other guy win
no matter what.

Speaker 1 (39:06):
Yeah, yeah, I don't know. I'm not I think like
right now it's Wattle for me. But it's super close
that you might.

Speaker 2 (39:13):
Have an injury, because again, if if Hill is hurt
or a Chan is out, then it's just like it
just makes starting Wattle so easy, just like you can't
ignore it if one of those guys is injured, just
the office is going to flow through.

Speaker 1 (39:26):
He's like, he's like I could, he said, I could
bench tet for those two. It's like, nah, I mean.

Speaker 2 (39:31):
Ted might be like that's the thing, guys, I know
you're asking week one questions, like we still have another
whole week of like injury reports, like guys might miss time,
and so I don't feel like you need to set
your lineup right now.

Speaker 1 (39:42):
All right, we don't have anything in the queue, so
just want to mind it. If you want to raise
your hand, you get front of the line access, especially
if you haven't already talked otherwise. We're gonna start hitting
the chat scroll. But we want to tell you guys
about the great offerings we've got on Twitch. Most of
you know by now we've been doing for about a
year a year ish or so, so Twitch dot Tv,
slash Fantasy Pros. There's some pretty cool stuff that's going on.

(40:06):
We have the Fantasy Pros Team Draft coming up on Tuesday.
That is the content team we are going to do
Brady Bunch style. It's going to be at two pm
Eastern on Tuesday, September second, where it is Ericson, me Debro.
I think there's like six of us are going to
be on screen. We're going up against each other. We're

(40:28):
drafting live on Twitch, and I had an idea. I
don't know what you think about this, Ericson, I feel
like we gotta have a little something online. I feel
like we should all like chip in like ten bucks,
and then the winner gets a belt for the content team.

Speaker 2 (40:39):
Right, Yes you like that? Yes, yes, okay. I think
that playing for something besides bragging rights is good and
it's good. It keeps people locked in.

Speaker 1 (40:49):
I think we will. We got to talk to our
dear friends over at Trophy Smack and see. If I
mean money, we'll speak for it. But I think that's
what we might do, So you want to come and
hang for that. Another thing. I'm just going to throw
this out here because it looks like it's set. I've
been teasing this, but we're gonna be doing some fun
We did actually a Madden stream last week, and it
looks like I'm gonna be doing a fun little series

(41:09):
where we are gonna be simming each week. We're gonna
do this live where we're gonna sim the week, look
at what it does, and obviously week to week compared
to real stuff. But we're gonna have this cool YouTube video.
The point is the live stream. We're gonna sim it,
We're gonna look at the results, and then we're gonna
play a couple of that week's matchups. We're gonna be
doing that on Twitch and this Tuesday, that's gonna be
at twelve pm Eastern, so we're gonna have like three

(41:31):
hours of streaming content for you. Plus we got a
bunch of other cool stuff. Seth Wilcock and Debro answer
your questions Wednesday at two pm Eastern. We've got Thursdays
and Fridays at five pm Eastern. It's all over on
Twitch dot tv Slash Fantasy Pros. If you want to
hang live. Some of the stuff is going to get
back to YouTube. The content draft will my Madden videos

(41:52):
are gonna get all produced up by our incredible team
for this idea that I've had and I hope you
guys will dig it, and I know a couple of
people have really liked that idea to watch live and
interact with it. I think it'll be a ton of
fun and we'll turn some cool stuff into it. All right,
let's get back. We are actually not going to the
chat scroll because legit just came in from the from

(42:12):
the rafters here, which you got legit you got on
mute though, from the turn, can you guys? Hearry, Yeah,
we got you good now awesome, thanks guys.

Speaker 7 (42:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 12 (42:20):
So I sent my team I just drafted last night
in the chat a little while ago. Let me see
what time that was for references at two oh six,
so it was a three keeper league. I was the
first pick, so I was at the turn and I
took guys like my quarterbacks are dak In Brock, and
I took Dak over guys like Baker and Kyler, and

(42:42):
then I also took Tyler Warren over guys like Nadjoku and.

Speaker 13 (42:47):
Guys in that kind of area. And I was kind
of saying that they're just my guys and I believe
in them. So I kind of wanted to get your
guys opinion on like how you kind of view your
guys and how you assess like do I go with
my guy or do I go with the guy who
I think is of value At the.

Speaker 1 (43:02):
Time, I think you're you're on it, Legit, you're doing
you're doing the right stuff. You should You should always
go with your guys because like, how pissed are you
going to be where you're like, well, you know, Baker's
are really good value. But I love Dak, and Dak
is like top five at quarterback, Like I do think
you want to pay attention to value when warranted. But
I don't think he did anything egregious legits team, by
the way, Perty and Dak, which I've literally said on here,

(43:24):
I love that stack running backs or Jacob's genty with R. J.
Harvey on the bench and sharbon Ay. Wideouts are Marvin Higgins,
You got Waddle and Jamison who we just talked about
as your flex. You got Keen. You have a bunch
of depth at wide receiver on your bench. You do
have valuc on the I L and Tyler Warren. No,
I think you if you've done your work or you know,

(43:44):
whatever you've if you've gone through like reading Erickson's articles
or whatever it is, even if you haven't done any
of it. By the way, it's your team, you should
be comfortable with it. I just don't think anything he
did was in an egregious territory where we're like whoa dude,
you know that's not even justifiable, even though it's your guy.
I think he did stuff that was fine. I have
Dak over Kyler. Baker's right in that same general vicinity

(44:07):
tight ends Warren over in Djoku all day. I think
you're doing it right. What do you think, Erickson?

Speaker 2 (44:13):
I think that in those ranges it's a little bit
easier to go after your guys, So I don't think
that that's egregious in any kind of the way that
you outlined. Welsh Like, I personally am not as high
as on Dak as others are. I think that also
has to do with him playing at the Eagles in
Week one, which I don't like.

Speaker 1 (44:30):
A yeah, I don't love that.

Speaker 2 (44:31):
Very I'm very much when I'm going the late round quarterback,
I don't want to have to stream guys right from
the jump like that is annoying to me. So I'm
lower on Dak. Dak also was not good last year.
It was good two years ago, but he was also
really bad last year, so he also doesn't run. So Dak'
saw a player that I would have reached for personally,

(44:52):
But in that tier I think over Baker, I think
it's still a little aggressive. I mean, Baker was really
good last year. I know that he's a fade and
a lot of people's listen, including mine, but that's because
of the price. If he was going in like the
Dak range, I would probably draft more of Baker Mayfield.
So the tight end thing I'm not going to argue against.
I think Tyler Warren has insane upside. I think in
Joku is a better projection, Like for week one. I mean,

(45:15):
if you look at Joku what he did last year
against the Bengals, this guy's gonna catch ten passes for
one hundred and fifty yards.

Speaker 1 (45:20):
And it's gonna be a no doubt. Like, dude, I
was staring at all his props there just so I'm
just you look at him and you're just like, okay.

Speaker 2 (45:29):
All of my like and Joko was going outside the
top one hundred like forever. And I think that it's
probably not gonna last for him because they have Heiler
Fannin and Joe Flacco. We've seen this kind of story before.
It's Jameis Winston esque where he like lights it up
for a couple of games and we get like super
confident and like, oh the Browns passing game. We should
have been all over this and then it obviously like
flames out. But I think in jok who is just

(45:50):
going to start the season on fire. But Tyler Warren
I think is the better long term bet throughout the
year because I mean he could be the number one
receiver for the Colts all season. Law, So that's while
weigh in that, I would say that going with your
gut earlier in drafts is where you can get into
some trouble where you're reaching on a projected breakout player
versus a locked and loaded stud. And the example that

(46:13):
I use in this has happened very early in my
drafting career. I remember I was really high on uh
this second year running back Zach Stacey for the Rams,
and I almost drafted him over to Marco Murray when
he rushed for like two thousand yards, but I didn't
because I took the value because of DeMarco Murray fell. So, like,
those are the things that stick in my mind of

(46:33):
when you're picking at the beginning, trust your rankings don't
necessarily reach on the breakout players until we get a
little bit farther into the draft. So that's kind of
like I.

Speaker 1 (46:42):
Think that's kind of what.

Speaker 3 (46:43):
Yeah, we did.

Speaker 1 (46:44):
I think that's where. Okay, real quick, you give me
a line for a joker. Have you looked at any
of this stuff for this week? Okay, you give me
your er.

Speaker 2 (46:52):
I don't want to look. I don't want to look
unless I'm investing in it into that time, because then
I'm going to look and not like make do anything
and then look back and to be like, oh that
all moved, And I'm like getting out of a hate
myself because I like let all these values slip through
my mind.

Speaker 1 (47:04):
So okay, I not, Well, we're doing this one. You
give me you're in djoku line against the Bengals in
week one, rough estimate, and then I'm going to tell
you what it is.

Speaker 2 (47:16):
I say it's around like, no, I want what you think.

Speaker 1 (47:19):
I don't want you to guess what the line is.
I want like, what what is your like?

Speaker 3 (47:22):
This is what? In jokes?

Speaker 2 (47:23):
Dot the line up?

Speaker 3 (47:24):
No? What what do you what?

Speaker 12 (47:25):
Like?

Speaker 1 (47:25):
What do you think? How do you think he's gonna perform?

Speaker 3 (47:27):
Like?

Speaker 1 (47:27):
What are his numbers?

Speaker 2 (47:28):
After I just told you? I mean, he could go
over one hundred yards and I wouldn't be surprised. I mean,
the line is like gonna be one hundred yards. I
mean the line's probably like what like forty five and
a half or like fifty.

Speaker 1 (47:38):
Yeah, it's forty six point five exactly.

Speaker 2 (47:40):
I'd slam me over and and he's.

Speaker 1 (47:43):
Four point five receptions at minus one eleven his receiving
air prop at forty six point five. Give me a
first quarter maybe one catch. I'm just throwing that out there, like,
get it, get in on it. All right, Let's go
take a look at what's going down in the chat.
Let me see if I can get back up there.

Speaker 2 (48:01):
Chat.

Speaker 1 (48:02):
All right, let's see bubba up Hello Jins. What around
would you start taking IDP players in a twenty sixth
round IDP PPI league? Good lord brother, Uh? Probably I
do a keeper I do a sixteen team IDP keeper league,
and I think like the sixth or seventh I usually

(48:22):
do a redraft one that has some IDP players. I
want to say, like, if you want the elite guys,
you got to you gotta dial in around the seventh
or eighth. But I'm okay checking in ninth or tenth
or something like that on the middle tier linebackers. Any
different for.

Speaker 2 (48:34):
You, for IDP. I'm not sure I feel qualified enough
to answer.

Speaker 1 (48:39):
Yeah, I'm not really qualified. You used to say that
for Bogman, but just I do play in a couple
of leagues. It's usually around six seven. If someone's like, oh,
I gotta have the top linebacker, I think eight nine,
ten somewhere in there is a good point because you've
gotten the majority of your starters to check in. But
that's where I'm at, all right, Uh, BofA would like
to trade for Tracey?

Speaker 5 (49:00):
See?

Speaker 3 (49:01):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (49:01):
Who would you be okay with trading him from my roster?
Let's see, that's not great. This is tough to say. Giddens, Bryant,
and Mitchell. He's in a position let me just all
do it like this. Most of his players are not worthwhile.
The only player that stands out is trading Crosskey Merit

(49:22):
for Tracy. Everything else you're not getting him. So would
you trade Bill for Tracy? Who do you want this season?

Speaker 2 (49:31):
That's an interesting one because they're kind of similar profiles.
Both Day three rookie or one of them was rookie
last year, but both Day three picks. Tracy looks like
he has the runway. What we're concerned about him? Holding
on to the job with Cam Scataboo. Man, that one
is tough. But I don't know what do you have

(49:52):
a lean either way, because I don't think like Tracy's
like bad. I mean I was originally down him because
I thought he was going to lose a job, but
Scattabo got hurt. I guess I still am concerned that
Skataboo does take on a large role as the season progresses. Yeah,
so I think maybe, but it would only be like
it would have to be because I feel good about
running back to Marie's starting, because like Tracy has value

(50:14):
right now, Like he's going to start in week one
for the Giant.

Speaker 1 (50:17):
And he has to start this guy, this is his
number two running back and the problem he has number two.

Speaker 2 (50:22):
I would just keep Tracy because like there are are scenarios.

Speaker 1 (50:24):
No, No, he has merit. He could trade Merit for Tracy.

Speaker 2 (50:27):
Oh then yeah, I mean, if you need an RB
two right now, I think that's fair to do.

Speaker 1 (50:33):
Yeah, he wants. I think he wants to trade a
wide receiver. You just you have two good players, you're
too healthy, Like say Flowers is on his bench, but
you're not gonna trade Flowers for him. So I would
actually go for a higher running back and maybe move
a guy like Tracy because of just the depth of
your wide receiver. But he's got really poor running back depy.

Speaker 2 (50:51):
I would say, instead of looking at it, I really
think that the Crosskey Merrit thing, you should try to
use him as like a piece to move up kind
of like what you said. So maybe what you should
do is try to trade, like you know it's work,
but like maybe Pickens and cross Ky Merrit to get
up to like Jonathan Taylor or McMillan and cross Ky

(51:11):
Merrit to get up to Jonathan Taylor because you already
have DJ Giddens as that run back, and then you
can slot in Zay Flowers because he's on your bench.
So I mean, I wouldn't say like Drake London for
Jonathan Taylor, but i'd maybe try to do that type
of combination.

Speaker 1 (51:28):
Yeah, all right, let's attempt we'll do a little lightning
round since we're in the final minutes here of it
A bunch of stuff. This is Bunting sixteen team. It's
a keeper league essentially Kittle waddle for Kelsey Nico. But
want to point out it's a standard league. There's some
other factors in it, But would you offer Kittle and
Waddle to get Kelsey and Nico? And Wattle looks like

(51:52):
he could maybe keep Nico for like one year. There's
complicated stuff link keepers and stuff like that, but just
as an overall with standard league playing for more touchdowns,
Kittle Wattle or Kelsey Nico.

Speaker 2 (52:03):
Where is this traded Kittle Wattle for Nico and Kelsey Standard?
So it's really about touchdowns.

Speaker 1 (52:13):
I like Kelsey Nico there.

Speaker 2 (52:15):
Yeah, I think I'm there too, because it's like I'm
just like thinking about the quarterbacks, like, all right, for
more touchdowns?

Speaker 3 (52:20):
C J.

Speaker 2 (52:21):
Stroud and Mahomes or Tua? And who was the other guy?
Who was the other piece?

Speaker 1 (52:28):
It was Nico and Kelsey, Kittle Wattle.

Speaker 2 (52:31):
Oh yeah perty in Tua? Yeah? Who would throw more
touchdown from the quarterback? Probably take the Mahomes and the
Stroud side, So I'll take the Kelsey Nico side.

Speaker 1 (52:40):
A lot of stuff in the chat you guys rock today.
By the way, shout out to Bansheevin. She was just
like giving me love because I was I was being
a baby about baseball, saying enjoyed my baseball all inside.
I appreciate you. My friend. Our boy Bunting was also flexing.
He had the one one. Oh my god, look at this.
He got Jamar Chase, second round, Rake London, third Rock, fourth,

(53:01):
Ken Walker, fifth, Travion Calvin and the sixth tet in
the seventh, the Lava and the eighth. Get out of here, dude,
get this, get this not safe for work draft board
off of my timeline here. That's ridiculous, dude. All right,
let me try to get a couple of other questions.
Tracy or Pollard, this is twelve team two flex three
wide receiver. Oh, I guess it's in that same trade market. Uh,

(53:25):
hollared over Tracy. Yeah yet pretty easy lightning round Marvin
Harrison Junior and a twenty twenty six second round pick
for Nico full PPR dynasty. Yeah, I do it absolutely,
second round pick two. I think that's uh. I think
that's a beaut to miss here. So we had a
whole lot of conversation just throwing Oh okay, here's one.

(53:46):
If HN missus week one, do you start Ali or
RJ Harvey and standards standard scoring. Hn doesn't look like
he's in a miss, but if he, if he.

Speaker 2 (53:53):
Did, probably.

Speaker 1 (53:57):
Over Harvey.

Speaker 2 (53:59):
I mean, who else is there? They don't want all
Gordon I play one hundred percent of the snaps.

Speaker 1 (54:02):
Yeh sure, they don't have anybody else?

Speaker 2 (54:04):
No, Chan, there's no right, like I don't know. I
don't know who else is on the roster.

Speaker 1 (54:08):
I can check, but no, No, I mean I should
have rephrased it like I said the question. You answered it.
You did good lightning around full PPR Josh Palmer.

Speaker 2 (54:16):
Or Cocher in what like to start to drafts? I started,
We're getting week one question, So I'm not exactly sure.

Speaker 1 (54:23):
I think this is to start question week one. Probably Cocher, Yeah,
Cocher for me, I'm not I'm not convinced Palmer is
more than the fourth.

Speaker 2 (54:31):
I want to see Palmer week one. I think that's
I mean, I think you should. Everyone should have some
like reservations about new quarterbacks, new receivers in their first
games playing together. Like it doesn't just happen from like
day one necessarily, so it's okay to wait and see.
Like it's not the worst thing in the world if
a guy in your bench does well, because it means hey, hip,
probably he might do well.

Speaker 1 (54:52):
Again, very very true, All right, that that is going
to do it. My friends. We appreciate you guys your
pick up things. Join us next week where we are
going to be talking all week one, not Thursday Night Football,
but it will be on Thursday Football Day, two pm
Eastern right here on the Discord. Be a part of
the show. Let's just blow it out. Let's get a
bunch of people in here. I love my regulars, but

(55:14):
let's get a bunch of people in You can be live.
And by the way, the little thing is, you do
get this like a day before and we are also
we've decided Erics and I, we're going to set aside
some time after the show five or ten minutes where
we will answer Thursday night question so we can get
people to not ask them during the show because it
airs on Friday, but we're going to spend some extra
time with you guys. We always call it the show
after the show where we talk bets.

Speaker 2 (55:36):
And we hang.

Speaker 1 (55:36):
So come be a part of it. We got a
lot of cool stuff on discord. Ericson's here, Fitzi's here,
Debro's here. We got an entirely awesome community with podcasts
like this, So go to Fantasypros dot com slash Chat
also the Twitch be there on Tuesday. Everything over here.
We elson videos coming on YouTube, but it's off it's
Labor Day. But get off of Labor Day and join us.

(55:58):
For week one, madd and sim we're going to take
a look at the stats, the lines, and then the
following week we're going to compare how Madden did versus it.
We're gonna do that every single week, and then Bagwin
and I are going to play a couple of the
games live with people, and we'll also be answering questions.
It's going to be a close to two hour a
little under two hours because right after at two pm Eastern,

(56:18):
we're going to be doing a live content draft with
all of the content people you know at Fantasy Pros.
We're all going to be on. It's gonna be crazy.
Hopefully we're going to get a good thing like we
talked about with the belt, So just spend some time
with us, and if you can't make it live, it'll
get back on the YouTube as well. And man, that's
just the tip of the iceberg. You know, all the
tools we've gotten you here. Hopefully you guys are set.

(56:39):
Content is going to go nuts next week we are
in in season mode on Fantasy Pros and Betting Pros.
So Ericson, I know you're ready. You've you've been building
up for this. You're probably the most ready of any
single person, if people want to know behind the scenes,
like Ericson is a machine. It is also why you're
like literally my favorite person to do podcasts with. And
I'm excited we get to do so many this coming, this,

(56:59):
coming again.

Speaker 2 (57:01):
Yeah, man, I'm super hyped. I have not gone to
the gym this week because I've just been so locked in.
It also helped that I did hurt my back last week,
so I didn't really have a chance to go to
the gym. But the back is feeling better. I'm feeling
re energized and locked and loaded. Welsh, what time did
you say? The content draft is a two pm Eastern
on Tuesday? Two pm? Okay, I gotta make sure I

(57:23):
mark that in my calendar so I don't auto draft.

Speaker 1 (57:26):
And make sure twelve pm Eastern so you are able
to check out the Madden stream.

Speaker 2 (57:31):
Yeah. Got a heckle the guys as they're drafting or
as they're playing the Madden and I will say, you
left this some low hanging fruit here again talking about
the after the extra point two point conversion. Man's that's
the show. Oh my god, that's so after the extra
point we're going for two where you're gonna get all
your Thursday night questions answered.

Speaker 1 (57:51):
That's so good. We should literally only do two minutes too,
so everybody freaks out that even be better. I love that,
all right, So yeah, that's what we're gonna do. So
it's show their show out. After the show, we're here
for you and you guys produce it. So thanks everybody
that hopped in and talked with us, so hopefully you
guys enjoyed it on the podcast. We'd love to see you.
Make sure you're subscribed and all this stuff, and let's
get going. Good look on your draft that you got

(58:12):
this weekend of whatever's left, and let's hit it hard
next week for the start of this fantasy football season.
For the great Andrew Ericson. I'm Chris Wells. You guys
have a fantastic one. We'll talk to you next time
