Speaker 1 (00:01):
Oh Ry and Welcome into the Fantasy Pros Fantasy Football Podcast.
It is the Week fourteen reaction episode. The sequel Nobody
asked for by Mageddon Too is now mostly behind us.
I'm your host, Seth Wilcock, and I hope everyone was
able to punch their tickets to the Fantasy football playoffs.
As always, I am joined by the best sports medical
(00:23):
professional on the Internet, orthopedic surgeon and the founder of
sports met Analytics, Harvard trained Stanford icon, the doctor Deepak Chona.
Happy Sunday night, Doc, Thanks for joining us. How are
you today?
Speaker 2 (00:36):
I'm doing great, man.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
There's no pressure when the Texans don't play, so I'm
just out here and enjoy the ride with you.
Speaker 1 (00:41):
Well, I'm glad to hear it. You were busy as always.
We'll talk some injuries with you in he just a
little bit. We're also joined by our fantasy sports and
sports betting weapon here at Fantasy Pros and betting pro,
Scott Bogman. What's going on to night, Bogs?
Speaker 4 (00:54):
I mean, how about Jordan Addison, how about Zach Sharvina.
How about some of these guys pushing you into the playoffs?
Big performances for sure, Josh Allen with five touchdowns. We
had some huge ones. We also had some of the
antillary guys completely not show up yes during by Mageddon,
which was annoying. But we will break it all down here.
(01:14):
Excited to do it. Steelers win again, set wins, let's go.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
Over that win total for sure, another winning season for
Mike Tomlin. We've got a loaded program for you all tonight,
injury recap with Deepak as noted, and then we'll break
down all the ten games from today. Big shout out
to everyone who watches or listens to this episode each
and every single week. Unreal to see how many people
have been rocking and rolling with us as we head
down the stretch of the season. If you are here
(01:42):
on YouTube, please give this video a thumbs up if
you enjoy this type of content. Plus subscribe to the
channel if you are new. It is the easiest way
to support what we're doing here. And let's go ahead, boys,
Let's jump into the injuries. Maybe no bigger one than
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving, who exited with
a back injury. The Oregon product has been looking like
a potential league winner in the past few weeks, but
(02:04):
only saw five touches today before aggravating a back injury.
What do we know so far?
Speaker 3 (02:09):
Deepak, Yeah, he came into this game very very questionable
and only practiced in limited fashion once, so we already
knew he was dealing with what was probably a hip
pointer and a back muscle strain. They kind of go
along together. So the fact that he reaggravated this early
suggests they're going to have to give him a little
bit of time. I suspect he's going to miss the
(02:29):
first couple of practices this week, and we're kind of
going to be looking at the same type of process.
A little bit more likely that he is held out
now that he's had a reaggravation, but really to be
determined based on his practice status.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
And if he is back in there as early as
next week or potentially in week number sixteen. What is
the re injury risk on something like this man.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
Yeah, the re injury risk is relatively high, especially because
he already has had a re injury, So it just
kind of keeps adding on. The main thing with this
is usually running backs when they play through these see
less touches, So just something to keep in mind if
you're really banking on.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
Him, Boggs. If there is no Bucky Irving active next week,
where do you rank for Shad White? And also, is
Sean Tucker worth a look if you do roster Bucky.
Speaker 4 (03:16):
I don't really think Sean Tucker is going to be
too much worth a look. I mean he will, he
would have been much more, you know, for this week
for by mcgeddon, he would have looking good. But yeah,
Tampa Bay, they've got the Chargers next week. It's a
tough matchup anyway. I kind of don't think Bucky is
gonna go. So I think it's gonna be with Shad
White season, and you know, pretty easy to just go
(03:38):
to him. He carried the full workload last year. He
knows what to do. He did it in this game.
So I think it's just an easy one to win.
If Bucky doesn't go.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
Probably like a low end RB one next week. Not
looking at the matches.
Speaker 4 (03:50):
Yeah, yeah, matchup is bad, so look probably more of
an RB two.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Okay, sweet okay. Sticking with the running back position here,
Carolina Panthers rookie running back John Brooks. He suffered a
non contact leg injury, DPAK, What do you think happened
to the rookie who just recently returned from a to
ACL that he suffered last year in Austin.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
Yeah, the biggest concern here is that it's the same
sort of direction and mechanism for an ACL retear, So
with that kind of plus or minus meniscus. Now, the
other possibility here is that when players come back from
an injury, and especially younger players, even sort of slight
sensation that maybe off could be enough to sort of
(04:32):
give them a pause and make them just go down
and call it. Now, with that being said, the mechanism
does fit for an ACL return. That's my highest suspicion.
But hoping we're wrong here, we're gonna probably see a
little bit more detail after an EMAI tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
Okay, all right, Well, Tea's and P's out to Jonathan
Brook's been a tough start to his NFL career, Bogs.
If this is a torn ACL, what does this do
for Brooks' dynasty value and as a result, Chuba Hubbard,
who's just given a new contract as well the last
couple weeks.
Speaker 4 (05:02):
Yeah, Tanks Brooks unfortunately, you know, because this old scouting
saying his availability is the best ability and this guy
missed most of this year, and if this is a
tear this late in the season and in December, it's going
to miss a big chunk of next year. It would
seem hopefully this isn't as bad. Hopefully this is a
little bit of a panicky after all that rehab and
(05:23):
all that stuff, as Deepak kind of alluded to there,
But we're gonna find out pretty quick. So hopefully Brooks
is okay, like you said, Teas and P's.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
Absolutely going to the Saints. New Orleans quarterback Derek Carr,
he exited with an arm and head injury. Injuries have
been piling up in New Orleans all year long. Do
we have any idea what happened to Car here? Deepak?
Speaker 3 (05:45):
Yeah, when he landed, he both hit his head and
landed directly on his hand. So starting with the head,
the likelihood that he ends up in concussion protocol, I
would say is a sort of non zero. It sounds
like they still hadn't made a determination on that as
of our.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
Latest press conference.
Speaker 3 (06:04):
But with that being said, and maybe irrelevant because his hand,
if they're saying suspecting a fracture, usually they see that
on the X ray right after so they probably would
shut him down for the rest of the season.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
If that's the.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
Case, would this linger into next year or could he
get back to throwing in a couple months here you
think Deepak.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
I think he could get back to throwing.
Speaker 3 (06:24):
I think you're probably looking at probably around the four
month timeline. But that would be if this was his
throwing hand. This is his left hand, so that actually
works a little bit in his favor that I would
expect him to be able to get pretty much back
to full strength after a whole off season.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
Boggs, If Carr is sidelined for the rest of season,
can you start anyone other than Alvin Kamara in this offense?
We have been getting production from guys like mvs. Juwan
Johnson had a nice game today as well.
Speaker 4 (06:51):
It's just Kamara, honestly, like Calarfield seen this. He went out,
We saw Hayner, we saw Rattler. They just don't have
much to offer. It'll be Hainar right now. It looks
like so just not good for the Saints' health as
a team as a whole, But it's kind of this
is what it's been coming down to for them. It's
(07:11):
been a war of attrition and they are losing.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
Yeah, hopefully they can maybe have rebuilt after this season.
You know, I want to be opposed to them, you know,
maybe trading back even and getting some like Jalen Milroe
in the draft. Maybe if they want to get a
more typical pocket passer Drew lar Well, we'll talk about that.
I'm sure much more in the offseason, but difficult to
trust the Saints moving forward outside of Alvin Kamara. Looking
(07:34):
at some more injuries this week, Depak, we have an
O'Connor who left with a leg injury. I've been seeing
a lot of mixed reporting on the former boiler Maker.
What's your initial diagnosis of the injury here?
Speaker 2 (07:45):
Yeah, you know, it's it's a little unclear.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
The he fell on directly on the knee, and that's
kind of a PCL mechanism in terms of the most
common thing we see. But he was put in an
air cast, which is a little atypical. So I will
kind of be waiting on reports in this The early
comments suggest it's not looking great, so I suspect he's
going to be probably out for the rest of the year.
(08:08):
Given their status as a team.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
Bugs would Desmond Ridder starting change your weekly ranking of
either Brock Bauers or Jacobe Myers.
Speaker 4 (08:18):
Yeah, it would lower both of them. Ritter has been awful.
So they have Carter Bradley on the practice squad right now.
I guess so, you know, the Pride of South Alabama.
I guess we'll see. But yeah, it's it's bad. You know,
we're getting late in the season. There's not even thirty
two viable NFL quarterbacks in the NFL, right so to
(08:41):
get so many of these backups in and the late
really tanks the value some of these players. You know,
I do think Bowers is somewhat QB proof. I think
Myers is your best option there. But they are going
to take hits in my rankings and most likely everyone's
rankings because Ritter has just been not a good quarterback.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
Yeah, talk about a team that also needs to rebuild
and go after the quarterback in the draft. Just as
a and O'Connor was getting it together, he might be
out for the rest of the season. Depak is telling
us he's and ps up to him as well. George
Pickens inactive with a hamstring injury for the Steelers. Reports
indicated that he tweaked it in practice on Friday, Depak.
Should we expect him back next week in Philadelphia or
(09:24):
is this maybe a wait and see and maybe he's
active Week sixteen against the Baltimore Ravens.
Speaker 3 (09:29):
So I would lean towards him playing this coming week,
And the reason for that is he did sustain.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
The hamstring injury late this week.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
It's very common for people to sit out that coming
game because the reinjury risk is pretty high, especially for
a wide receiver with this injury.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
Now, the other sort of aspect.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
To it is that we know it's mild, because otherwise
they wouldn't have even tested him today, And quotes from
everybody else on the team seemed to think that he
was going to play going into this, So I suspect
he's going to be out there. The reinjury risk is
elevated somewhere around fifteen percent, but the production dip is
pretty low, So I would expect a pretty good pickings
(10:08):
probably this week.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
Okay, Bogs. If he's out there next week, wheels up
on pickens.
Speaker 4 (10:13):
Yeah, And I think if you're the Steelers and he
gets this injury right before you play the Browns, who
have three wins, they did beat you last time, right,
But you have this gauntlet of Philly, Baltimore, Kansas City
all in ten days here. So it's just a brutal
schedule for Pittsburgh coming up. They're going to play on
(10:34):
this Sunday, and then they're going to play on a Saturday,
and then on Christmas Day on Wednesday. So it's whatever
it is. Ten eleven days. One of the hardest parts
of the schedule that I've ever seen for a team.
So I think this is just a let's not play him.
We may not need him to beat Cleveland, Let's hold
him out for these three.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
Games before we let you go. Deepak. We saw will
levis struggle today. Was that related at all to the
shoulder injury he suffered towards the end of the first
half today.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
I do think so, and his comments kind of more
or less confirmed into my eyes. He landed directly on
the right on the tip of his right shoulder. That's
how you injure your ac joint, and he had actually
done that back several weeks ago, and he missed some
time as well during that, so this was probably reinjured.
He did take an injection at halftime and was able
(11:23):
to play through. Now, these sometimes swell up, they sometimes
get worse. I wouldn't say a shoe in for next week,
although most commonly players do play.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
With an injection.
Speaker 3 (11:34):
The one kind of variable here is that if you've
noticed on a lot of his throws he was kind
of pushing the ball rather than truly following through, and
that following through and going across your body is where
you feel that ac joint. So I would say he's
maybe not quite himself, but I think he is probably
going to try to play Boggs.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
Do you downgrade either Calvin Ridley or Nick Westbrook? Akine
next week against the Bengals with either a a banged
up Will Levis or Mason Rudolph who just a year
ago I remember, I'll send it for many brothers and
join a cold bush light seeing him tear up the
Bengals with either of those quarterbacks, either an unhealthy Will
Levis or Mason Rudolph, who's just you know, mid where
(12:16):
you downgrading these guys.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
I can't downgrade these guys too much. Going up against Cincy.
We've seen since he just play some horrific defense recently.
We'll see if they can improve against you know, a
banged up in week Cowboys offense on Monday Night. But yeah,
I mean, I think if Will Levis is good enough
to go, or if it's Mason Rudolph, there's that's a
coin flip difference. This is not going from car to
(12:40):
Hainer or from even Aidan O'Connell to Desmond Ritter. You
know what I mean. This is a sure lateral move
one way or the other. So I'm not going to
downgrade those guys specifically in a good matchup next week.
Speaker 1 (12:51):
Okay, before we before we say goodbye to your deepak.
We just saw Isaac Grendo just moments ago leave the
game early. I know, I know this just happened, but
what's your reporting on it?
Speaker 3 (13:02):
Yeah, so they called him questionable with a foot injury. Now,
the fact that they that he didn't come back, I'm
not sure how much we can read into because they
were leading comfortably and it was late. The good thing here,
potentially is that they didn't rule him out. And if
they took him to the locker room, usually you get
X rays, so it suggests there's not a fracture there.
(13:23):
Probably we'll get an MRI and get a little bit
more info, but this one's going to be very much
kind of played by practice reports as we go on.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
Okay, Bogs, if you're in your fantasy football playoffs, if
you have Grendo, if you had McCaffrey or Jordan Mason,
is it Patrick Taylor season? Are we spending the rest
of our fab on him?
Speaker 4 (13:42):
I mean, it's definitely Patrick Taylor season. And also they
just picked up a Banacanda your boy from pitt so
maybe there's a little something there as well. But I mean,
I would just like to ask whoever put a hex
on Niners running backs? Can we get the Can it
be over now? Does it have to the whole season?
I mean, let's just stop it here. It's week fourteen,
(14:03):
We're coming into the playoffs. No more broken San Francisco rbs,
please please Yeah. I just burned out one of my
fabs to get Grindo, so hopefully he can play next week.
Fingers crossed, we'll see.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
It was so crazy in all my leagues, just seeing
everyone throw out all the fab they had for Grindo
this past even talking about it.
Speaker 4 (14:24):
He's this was his second start since college. He started
one game in college and then this game. He doesn't
have a lot of starts under his belt at all so,
uh yeah, I mean we're down. We're down to the
bottom of the barrel in San Francisco right now, one
hundred percent.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
But that's why we follow guys like Deepak to keep
us up to date every single week. Doctor, Thank you
so much for joining us. Best of luck to you
the rest of the way here, and good luck to
you in the start of your fancy football playoffs as well.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
Deepak, thank you. I will see how soon.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
All right, I'm seeing all the reactions in the chat.
We got imds saying Beginner's luck his first fantasy season ever.
Congratulations to you, man, I hope you're having a great season,
and a lot of people asking can I drop Kyle Pitts?
Am I giving up on this player? Disaster for me?
This week? It was a tough one out there, bog.
How did you do in your lease? Did you do
any good?
Speaker 4 (15:15):
I did not have a great week, which is I've
been having a great season. So most of my teams
are in the playoffs, which is, you know, just a
blessing here. But this week was not very good for me.
I had a couple spots. I have Jordan Addison in
three spots. I'm actually gonna lose one of them Madison,
(15:36):
which is a total no. But unless Patrick mahomes host
for like five hundred yards tonight, I am probably dead
in the water in that one. So yeah, look at
this point in the year, if you're saying can I
give up, but you can give up on anybody. We
got three weeks left. It is win and survive. It
is there's no excuses. So everyone can get cut, everyone
can be gone if they're hurt, if you're not starting them,
(16:00):
you know, whatever you need to do to give yourself
options and to give yourself keep yourself alive. This is
no loyalty season right now. This is the playoffs. We
are moving forward and we are doing what has to
be done, even if we have to hold our nose
to do it.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
And sometimes the best movie you can make is dropping
a player that maybe your opponent would like, like a
Kyle Pitts, and they see the name and then it's
a landmine. Right Yeah.
Speaker 4 (16:25):
Fox the River just said that drop Deebo as a
waiver wire landmine. You make somebody else spend their money
and pick them up and then they start them. Yeah.
I don't think that's a bad idea at all. In
some scenarios, God Debo just whatever magic is gone. Whoever
is hexting the Niners running backs also has the same
(16:46):
voodoo doll for Deebo right now. It is not good
for him.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
One hundred percent. This is tough week for me too.
There's a couple of super flex leagues where I'm starting
Mac Jones is my only quarterback's all minor on by
But we'll get back, you know. Week fourteen was a
tough one for everyone.
Speaker 4 (17:00):
But I started Ray Davis over ty Johnson in the league.
So and Tye scores a touchdown, you know, just the
way the way she goes sometimes.
Speaker 1 (17:08):
Absolutely, Let's start the game recaps in Miami where the
Dolphins they beat the Jets thirty two to twenty six
in overtime. Miami did drive down the field on the
first drive of overtime to win the game. Eighteen total
penalties on the game, no turnovers.
Speaker 5 (17:23):
Though.
Speaker 1 (17:24):
I got a lot of questions this week in my
DMS about Raylen Allen, but ultimately it was Isaiah Davis
who scored fifteen point seven PPR points. Alan though didn't
leave you hang in twelve point one bog, What did
you make of this breeze? Hall Less Jets backfield.
Speaker 4 (17:38):
They split it right down the middle, man, I mean
it was really right down the middle. Was eleven carries
for Allen, ten for Davis. It was four catches for Allen,
three for Davis. The snaps were split thirty seven to
thirty six. Alan ran twenty two routes, Davis ran twenty.
So it was literally split right down the middle between
(17:59):
these guys. Isaiah Davis was the guy to end up
in the end zone. And this was you know, I
had a lot of crow eating on Braylen Allen to
start the year. I was not the biggest Braylen Allen guy.
I thought he's a little bit too slow to exist
in the NFL. I thought Isaiah Davis was better than him.
Now it's looking like Isaiah Davis is making a name
for himself, pulling himself even he played with Breees banged
(18:20):
up last week and has you know, scored in back
to back games now.
Speaker 1 (18:25):
So I always had another one too. He dropped, he
dropped that reception that he had in the end zone.
Speaker 4 (18:29):
Yeah, he's a good back. Went to a small school,
so we kind of got overlooked a little bit decent combine,
but both these guys are going going to get mixed
in should Brees miss again. Hopefully he doesn't because that
is at Jacksonville. That is a very very good matchup
for the Jets next week, and then they have the
(18:49):
Raiders and then they're at Buffalo for their playoff schedule.
But hopefully Breeze is back. But I think Isaiah Davis
is a guy if you're in a deep league. He
got injuries. Obviously, no Bi mcgeddon anymore, thank god, But
if you're down to the nitty gritty, he's a guy
that could get you a touchdown and sometimes that's the
difference in a week.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
Probably like a high end RB three, you think if
there is no Britise Hall for both of these guys
probably ranked somewhere between twenty five and thirties, that probably where.
Speaker 4 (19:14):
You'd have them. I think probably a little bit lower
than that still, because we do I mean, we get
all thirty two next week, so we're gonna get sure
no six teams back, six rbs back, so I think
he'll probably be closer to a low end RB three,
But in the neighborhood he's definitely on the radar, that's
for sure.
Speaker 1 (19:30):
We also saw some huge games for Garrett Wilson Davonte
Adams against a pretty decent Miami secondary. Garrett Wilson ten targets,
seven receptions, one hundred and fourteen yards, Davante Adams eleven targets,
nine receptions, one hundred and nine yards and a touchdown.
Can we expect something similar next week against Jacksonville and
then the Rams and the Bills.
Speaker 4 (19:51):
Better late than never, I guess, So yeah, we'll take it.
I mean, as long as Aaron Rodgers doesn't quit and
go rogue, which you know I kind of feel. I mean,
he's even said I want to play the whole year
and all that, so we're gonna take him at his
word for now. So yeah, I mean that's a great
matchup against Jacksonville next week. So both these guys looking
good and like I said, better late than never. We
(20:13):
finally have had it with both these guys. And I
think that's DeVante's first hundred yard game as a member
of the Jets too, So I was kind of like,
I don't know who's going to be good here because
it's been one or the other. So I put them
next to each other. So I guess it worked out.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
Yes it did, Yes, it did, and I think like
they're pretty much auto starts next week again against Jacksonville.
Speaker 4 (20:33):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, you need to get him in your
lineup most likely.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
So on the Dolphins side of things, we finally saw
Tyreek and Jalen Wattle both go off in the same game.
Feels like the first time in a long time. Tyreek
hill fourteen targets, ten receptions, one hundred and fifteen yards,
and a score. Wattle saw twelve targets of his own,
nine receptions and one hundred yards. Fantasy Pro Strength of
Schedule tool gives them a top ten easiest rest of
(20:58):
season schedule four wide receivers? Is this finally the breakout
we've been waiting for for these Miami wide receivers that hey,
if you drafted them at ADP, tough, tough season.
Speaker 4 (21:09):
The theme of this show is better late than ever,
or this game at least, I guess it is better
late than ever. So yeah, we'll take it. I was,
you know, I was a little bit worried about this
risk and the rest of the season for Tyreek Earlier
ten for one fifteen in a touchdown shows you he
is just not slowing down. And we'd even seen the
memes right of Tyreek Hill. More children than touchdowns this
(21:30):
season and all that. So luckily he's at least pulled
even with this score. So but yeah, I mean, it's
nice to see these guys working together. Eight Chan went
out for a little bit, a little scary, came back.
We didn't even need to talk about him on the
injury report because he had I mean, so sixty of
seventy two snaps running back Quente Yeah now most yeah
(21:52):
he is. He is a lead back there with no
moster by a wide margin. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
Jalen Wright still got a little bit of work to
do as well. He seems to somewhat just getting the
mix of some bad situations out there drop passes, not
always great in pass blocking as well. So still a
little bit of work to do for the rookie of Tennessee.
I like Miami rest of season, I you know, Houston,
San Francisco, Cleveland, None of those matchups necessarily scare me
away bogging. I also have a two to one ticket
(22:19):
that I took a couple weeks back on Miami to
make the playoffs. Not feeling great about that, but for
feeling good about.
Speaker 4 (22:24):
These options, I think rest of the way yeah, I mean,
I think these should be close games for them, even
at Cleveland. You know that late in the season. We
know Miami's track record playing in cold weather not outstanding,
so not great for them there. But I you know,
Houston is probably their toughest matchup. The Niners are so
banged up. I question whether they can keep up with
(22:46):
them on offense. But they look great today, So I
was kind of worried about the health of that Niners offense,
and Purdy and Grendo really shut me up. So hopefully
Grendo's back for them and they can keep it rolling.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
Moving to Minneapolis, it wasn't the revenge game Kirk Cousins won,
and by any means, the Vikings win this one, forty
two to twenty one against the Falcons. Sam Darnold five touchdowns,
three hundred and forty seven yards passing that led to
thirty nine point three fantasy points for Jordan Addison thirty
two point seven for Jay Jettis Boggs. Who impressed you
(23:19):
most in Minnesota today?
Speaker 4 (23:21):
I mean, I tell you what you impressed me a
couple weeks ago, because you pointed out the correlation of
Hawkinson being back with Addison going nuts, and that is
exactly what has been happening. It continues to happen, and
Jordan Addison is in his breakout right now. I mean,
you know, I've said it of ad nauseum, so I'm
sure people roll their eyes. This dude got Kenny Pickett
(23:42):
drafted it in the first round. Jordan Addison did so
outstanding wide receiver. He's got Jefferson on the other side,
and it all added up to a beatdown by the Vikings.
I thought per Cousin's revenge game narrative. I mean, even
Jerry Judy got the revenge game narrative going on. Yeah,
so I thought maybe we'd see a little magic for that.
(24:03):
But he's just been too careless with the football recently.
Two more picks here after a bunch last week. He
just has not looked good. I mean, you know, once
they are officially dropped, might see Michael Pennix get a
little bit of a run. So we'll see what happens there.
But yeah, great game from Donald and his five touchdowns,
and everyone's kind of counted him out because you know
(24:26):
it had been oh after four weeks. He turns into
a pumpkin and he definitely slowed down from the beginning
of the season, but he's starting to pick it back up,
and it's just trusting your guys. Just throw the ball up.
Let Addison go make a play, Let Jefferson go make
a play, Hawkinson, they have such good options here that Yeah,
I mean Donald is in his bag right now. We
like it.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
Do you have to start Addison rest of season? Giving
this performance Chicago, Seattle, Green Bay? The matchups for him, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (24:54):
I don't know that he is an absolute must start,
but I'm gonna say it's hard to sit him when
he is on a like this, So like, if your
decision is Waddle or Addison, that one's tough, right, That's
kind of you're getting into coin flippy. But he's definitely
a wide receiver, two wide receiver, three borderline guy. Moving forward,
he has been outstanding recently.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
Not a game that Kirk Cousins I think was excited
about it all after what he did here, but it
was still big game for most of the Atlanta skilled players.
I want to specifically highlight Ray Ray McCloud though eight
of ninety eight on eleven targets. Earlier this week, I
talked about McLeod is my favorite waivers a week early
target and I think it's it's coming to fruition Boggs.
(25:38):
We knew him a few years ago back on the
Steelers as kind of a gadget player punt returner guy. Yeah,
but he's really turned into something. Do you think he
is worth a spot start if you need someone in
the fancy football playoffs? And with that being said, are
we cool with dumping Kyle Pitts Because I mean he's
getting out targeted by by Mooney, by Ray Ray now,
I mean it's just bad.
Speaker 4 (25:59):
Everything you thought you were getting from Kyle Pitts is
going to Ray Ray McCloud right now. So why even
bother with Kyle Pitts. There are plenty of tight ends
that will disappoint you, So I would at least try
a different one in a good matchup or something, then
keep sticking with Kyle kit. I started him in a
league because I'm stupid. It's sixteen man and there's just
(26:21):
no but I mean the backup backups, and I think
Nick Mannette was the best tight end on the wire
right So I'm like, I guess I'll roll Kyle Pitts.
But you know, unless you're in that situation, he can go.
He's doing nothing right now. It's tough to say. In Dynasty.
He is still super talented and all that, but at
this point you would think the Falcons aren't even using it.
(26:42):
He's not getting targets. Maybe they trade him in the offseason.
It is not working for Kyle Pitts. So yeah, he
can be cast as under for sure. Ray Ray is
a great option. I think if you're in a deeper league,
you know, again, all thirty two teams playing next week,
it's gonna be hard to say that, you know, he's
a must start, but he's definitely gonna be in the mix.
(27:04):
You're gonna look at matchups for him versus the guys
in your flex at your third wide receiver position, and
you know, a lot of eyebrows are getting peaked at
least right now, I guess is what we should say.
Speaker 1 (27:15):
Yeah, we got the Raiders the Giants in Washington for
Atlanta the rest of the way. I mean, that's a
great that's a great schedules match too. Yeah, so Ray Ray,
I would say firmly in that flex conversation, specifically in
twelve team or deeper leagues, and I just got to
say it like, I don't want to rag on the
guy too hard, but there's just a chance that we
all overvalued Kyle Pitts coming out of Florida. Man like
(27:37):
Brock Bauers has been the real deal this year. I
know Pitts had a one thousand yard season to start
his career, but I think we are just all too
high on pits, Like we can't keep making excuses like
the quarterback play is better. It's not great, but it's better.
The offensive play calling is better. And I mean, you're
looking what John new Smith did last year, and I
think a lot of people Arthur Smith a little bit
(27:57):
of an apology now considering what he's doing.
Speaker 4 (27:59):
My uh yeah, I mean so, I think what you're
what we're seeing here is a combination of a bunch
of things. Tight End is just one of the hardest
positions to come out of college and then successfully make
the transition to the NFL because you just have so
much more to learn. Now we do get specialized tight
ends like Isaiah Likely and Zach Ertz and these guys
(28:22):
that aren't doing you know, a ton of inline blocking.
They're more to be more there to be wide receivers,
and then you have David and Joku as all the
talent in the world, but that team's all run for
a team I want him to block. So you're seeing
a little bit of that from Kyle Pitts, of course,
But I think you're right. I think he was definitely overrated.
It was one really huge season at Florida, and I mean,
(28:44):
he was amazing, but it just has nothing has shown up.
So I'm definitely one of the lots of people that
thought Kyle Pitts is going to be very good and
he has been nothing.
Speaker 1 (28:53):
I did too, man, and last year I got out
of him in my big Dynasty League. I traded him
for a round pick and Travis Kelce in a win
now situation. I'm feeling pretty good about that. And you know,
I don't think you're gonna be able to get to
that type of return on him, but maybe there's still
there's still gonna be someone in every single dynasty league.
I would say, who's gonna still believe in the talent?
Speaker 4 (29:14):
So take a flyer, especially if he gets moved.
Speaker 1 (29:17):
Yeah, in Philly, the Birds, they get the w twenty
two to sixteen over the Caroline of Panthers, but the
Panthers continue to cover some big spreads, and Adam Feeling
continues to be a weapon. As it tracks now he
could finish as a wide receiver one in back to
back weeks. However, not the best rest of season schedule
for the Panthers on a scale of the one to five.
(29:39):
Let's call it a playoffs trusto meter. How much are
you trusting theelan moving forward because we did see similar
results last year with Bryce Young at quarterback.
Speaker 4 (29:47):
Yeah, I mean my initial thought was two and a half,
which does nothing for us. I'll say three. I'll say
three out of five we trust him because I think
what we can trust a little bit more. I'm not
fully on board, but is that Bryce Young is a
better quarterback than the first run that we saw, and
so he's at least you know, he's not gonna Desmond
(30:09):
Ridder this. He's not gonna be the guy he was
before that is just going to wreck this entire offense
and drag everybody down with him. So with that being said,
you know, matchups are nice and we still expect the
Panthers to be losing and playing comeback in most games.
So that's good game script for these wide receivers, including
Adam Thlen. So Welsh didn't couldn't convince me last week.
(30:32):
I think I have now been convinced on Adam Thielen.
It's just I just feel like, this late in his career,
every time you start to depend on him, he pulls
a hamstring or something. So interest But yeah, he's been great.
Bryce Young has been much improved. You know, it sucks
to lose Brooks, but Shuba's still been a very solid
piece and this offense is getting much much better. So yeah,
(30:53):
I think that I think you can count on Adam
thlen for the most part.
Speaker 1 (30:58):
Probably like a Widers three flex in your rankings, what
it's probably gonna shake out to.
Speaker 4 (31:03):
Okay, Yeah, I think that's exactly where he's gonna end
up being. And you know, a lot of targets, a
lot of catches. The guy's still making catches for sure. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
Logett also had eight targets, which was really nice to
see just two for thirty nine. I think he's still
a guy I have hope for for dynasty situations, but
for rest of season redraft, like, I think I'm okay
with cutting Lagat just because he doesn't have any standout
performances with extremely high upside and the floor just doesn't
seem to be there right now either.
Speaker 4 (31:29):
Yeah, And you know, it's just this is the nature
of the beast for a rookie, right Like, sometimes they
come in and shatter things, and sometimes it's a feeling
out process, a growing process. He switched quarterbacks with him
a couple of times here as well. He had dealing
in there. He didn't have dealing in there. Sanders has
been in and out of the lineup, so there's just
(31:51):
been a lot of moving pieces to Carolina, so Leet
just has not. You know, it seems like he's settling
in and then he's not. So eight targets is nice.
So I don't know that he's a definite cut in
a deeper league, but for the most part, and at
ten to twelve, there's probably someone on the wire that's
a little bit better.
Speaker 1 (32:07):
Anything on the Eagle side of note, for fancy football
purposes for you, Deavonta Smith. He found the end zone
in his return. Saquon did go over one hundred yards,
but overall, pretty disappointing day for all Eagles players outside
of Jalen Hurts.
Speaker 4 (32:19):
Yeah, they just didn't need to do a lot, honestly,
so it was just play defense and not choke away
this game, especially for what that dude was about three
million dollars on him. But I think the one thing
you can pull away from Philly is with Goddard being
out for a little bit. Cal Kata scored a touchdown.
A touchdown dependent guy, but at least he's getting looks
(32:40):
and targets.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
So rather play him than Pits.
Speaker 4 (32:43):
I would rather have him than Pits man. That's exactly
what I was gonna say. Maybe you had Taysom Hill
go down. You know, there's lots of there's lots of
other options, but cal Katerra is in one of the
healthiest offenses and gets end zone looks, so we like
to see that.
Speaker 1 (32:57):
Let's keep it moving. But before we do so, I

(33:42):
the least happy place on Earth, Let's head to MetLife
Stadium where the Saints beat the Giants fourteen to eleven.
Had the under in this game, wasn't sweating this one,
so yeah, it's feel pretty good about that for the Saints.
Bogman Alvin Kamara, we already kind of touched on this.
He got double digit points thanks to receiving where Kendra
Miller found the end zone on ten carries as well,
(34:03):
which was good to see. I don't know if you
saw the the memes going out there on Twitter about
him without Dennis Allen, but there's.
Speaker 4 (34:09):
I mean, I don't I didn't see any of them.
But all Dennis Allen wanted to do was talk smack
about Kendray Miller in every press conference. I don't know
what he's gonna be available. Yeah, is you still hurt?
We need guys that are gonna play all of that.
So now that the Witch is dead, this guy finally
got some carries here, so we like to see that.
Speaker 1 (34:28):
Yeah, it was I don't know if you saw the
new Deadpool and Wolverine bros chanting Kadam, it was his
character and he's like, I'm gonna make a name for
myself here now that there's no.
Speaker 4 (34:36):
There's no doubt the Wolverine say, I don't think you
make it out of this a lot, because that's been
Kendray Miller's history here.
Speaker 1 (34:41):
Yeah. God, but realistically, like Jawan Johnson found the end zone.
But we kind of touched on you're not starting anyone
by Alvin Kamara in this offense, especially without Derek Carr
probably going forward. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (34:52):
Yeah, I mean, look, if you know, all the pieces
were healthy for New Orleans and we had Taysom when
we had a lave and you know, everything was humming
like it was those first two weeks, but it was
you know, I hope you enjoyed your first two weeks
New Orleans because it's been very ugly outside of that. Now,
you know, you win this game against an even uglier team.
I looked at one point and I was like, Drew
(35:16):
Locke has not completed a pass.
Speaker 1 (35:17):
He was like the second he was like yeah, he
was like oh for eight zero for ten. Starting out
it was not good.
Speaker 4 (35:22):
It was unbelievably bad. And I was like, man, I thought, Molik,
Neighbors is gonna be QB proof. He ended up kind
of being QB proof, But good lord Drew Locke with
an unbelievably horrible start.
Speaker 1 (35:35):
Yeah, Neighbors. He did get double digit Fantasy points five
or seventy nine on ten targets, but he still hasn't
gone over sixteen Fantasy points this week four, hasn't found
the end zone since Week three. Tracy Tyrone Tracy, he
continues to be a weapon, though nineteen point three Fantasy
points for him one through five was go back to
the playoff confident meter where you putting neighbors in Tracy
(35:57):
rest of the season Baltimore, Atlanta, Indianapolis or their matchups.
So great schedule, but as you knowed Drew Locke twenty
one for forty nine today.
Speaker 4 (36:06):
Yeah it's still a four for those guys. I mean,
Tracy gets just all of the touches. Sixty five of
seventy eight snaps went to Tracy in this game, and
he had you know, twenty one touches and scored same
thing with Neighbors. Neighbors played seventy seven or seventy three
(36:26):
of seventy eight snaps, so all but five, he still
had ten targets, right, So they're both getting targets. They're
both they both should be playing from down for the
rest of the season. And Drew Locke is bad, but
once he gets going, he can get into a little
bit of a rhythm, and he did in this game,
so made it, you know, stomachable. I would say, you know,
(36:49):
from what it did start as. So yeah, I don't
like the team. I don't like the health of the offense,
but the players are just getting too much action.
Speaker 1 (36:57):
And if you enjoyed that game Saints versus Giants, you're
gonna love Jaguars versus Titans. Jacksonville potentially took themselves out
of position for that first overall pick, winning ten to six.
Brian Thomas Junior got his twelve targets, eight receptions eighty
six yards from mister mac Jones Travis etn. He also
got to double digit points, but that was because he
(37:18):
caught four receptions for fifty yards. He was out snapped
though by Tank Bigsby thirty one to twenty eight, out
carried eighteen to four. Expectations have been low for quite
some time, I would say, Bogman, people haven't been trusting
him for the majority of the season. But is it
Joe over for the Clemson product being the lead back
and even startable in fantasy rest of the season.
Speaker 4 (37:38):
Yeah, I think so because even with you know this
split backfield, as you mentioned, thirty one to Bigsby twenty
eight for eight TN, it was still Bigsby getting all
of the rushes right, eighteen carries for him for fifty
five yards and a score. Etn had four. He had
more targets, and he had fifty yards receiving. But you know,
it's just less bankable on a week to week basis.
(38:00):
You know, we think Bigsby is the goal line guy.
Etn is just he's used as the receiving back now
and it's just not a good role to have to
start moving forward. If you wanted him as a bye
week back, great, if you're in a super deep league,
he's still on the field at least, but I just
(38:20):
everything's going to Bigsby. Bigsby has to be the guy here.
The real thing is that you don't really want to
start anyone with Mac Jones as a quarterback for Jacksonville.
It has been rough there with him as a starter.
And you know, we had an ok game from Brian Thomas,
but nobody else did anything. Ingram four for thirty three,
Marker Washington, who had been on a nice hot streak
(38:41):
two for fifteen. So it's Brian Thomas, it's maybe Bigsby
even Evan Ingram is a tough start right now.
Speaker 2 (38:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (38:50):
Absolutely, And for the Titans, kind of a similar situation.
We talked about Will Levis and his injury earlier in
the program with Deepak, Calvin Ridley, Tony Poler. They got
double digit fancy points once again, but it feels like
it's only been them and the occasional NWI spot start
for a while now. I think that's probably the same
like rest of the season, Like if you want to
get frisky, you want to roll the dice start NWI,
(39:13):
And aside from that, it's Ridley and Pollard.
Speaker 4 (39:15):
Yeah, I like this schedule for the rest of the
year for Pollard, and Ridley right because it's Tennessee gets Cincinnati,
then they're at Indy and they're at Jacksonville. So nice
playoff schedule here for those guys. Nick Westbrook Aquina is
obviously touchdown dependent. Didn't get a touchdown this week, so
didn't help me and buy him again in the one week.
Speaker 1 (39:35):
He doesn't score, right, I touchdown that is when I.
Speaker 4 (39:38):
Really need him. But such his life in fantasy football,
so just the way it goes. But yeah, I do
like Ridley getting a bunch of targets. I do like Pollard,
you know. I thought this is going to be more
fifty to fifty and it was a little more even
forty to twenty four in snaps and spears ran more routes.
So he is back to being kind of the full
time receiving back here that he was before or the concussion.
(40:01):
But Pollard is too hot. They said they're gonna go
hot hand. Pollard is hot right now. I expect him
to continue to get the football.
Speaker 1 (40:07):
In Tampa Bay, the Buccaneers rolled twenty eight to thirteen
against the Raiders. Baker Mayfield continues his quarterback one season,
going for nineteen more fantasy points today. His pass catchers
all got at least to double digit fancy points. No
big games by any means, but Jalen McMillan might be
the real story here, Bogman. He led the team in
targets and found the end zone twice. Can we trust
(40:29):
the rookie out of Washington. It has been a slow
start to his career to say the least. And you know,
we saw Evans go down, we saw Chris God When
we were thinking McMillan would be the guy, he himself
got banged up. Was never really that person we thought
he was. I dropped him in a league this last
week finally, but bottom twelve strength of schedule rest of
the season, four wide receivers, So not the greatest matchups either.
(40:51):
Are you rolling al McMillan or is it more just
a good Week fourteen story we can rest our head on?
Speaker 4 (40:56):
Yeah, I mean I would like to see him put
something on tape going into next year, you know what
I mean? So I would like to see him get more.
He's played a bunch of snaps since coming back off
the injury, so he's out there. The opportunities are gonna
be there for him. So I do like that. I
don't mind having him on the bench. You know, if
if we're looking, but you can't start him off a
(41:18):
one good game with two scores, right like, Yeah, expecting
that is is madness, I feel like. So it's great
that he's out there. He's out there so much. This
can be a thing. McMillan can definitely be a thing.
He can be a guy that wins you money down
the stretch if you find yourself in a spot where
you need to play him. I just don't think I'm
I'm not gonna bump him up a crazy amount. I'm
(41:41):
gonna put him where a lot of these guys who
get a bunch of you know, justin Watson's you know,
these guys get a bunch of snaps, but they're mainly
blocking or they're mainly out there, you know, taking a
defender away so Mike Evans can make the catch, so
Rashad White and Bucky can make catches underneath, you know
what I mean. That has been his role for most
of the year. He was open in this game. So
(42:03):
he got two scores. Nice to see. I hope we're
building on something here, but definitely nowhere near you know,
a four sure asset on our team.
Speaker 1 (42:14):
Yeah, I think you're in a deeper league. I could
see you Adam McMillan. He is available in ninety one
percent of ESPN leagues, So I don't think you should
be missing out on using our Waiver Assistant tool at
fanasypros dot com slash my Playbook to just weigh the
options with McMillan. Should I add him? Should I not?
Is he going to be a difference maker in my
(42:34):
lineup moving forward? That's what this tool tells you, so
make sure you're checking out again. That's our Waiver Assistant
tool at fancypros dot com slash my Playbook or on
the Fantasy Football My Playbook app. You can instantly view
suggestions on who you should add, who you should drop.
You'll kind of see, hey, is McMillan really worth it
here or is he just someone whos gonna ride my
pine rest the way? That assistant tool will really help you,
(42:55):
So make sure you guys are checking it out for
the Raiders in this matchup. I did want to talk
about Sincere McCormick. He outsnapped a mirror a Doula and he.
Speaker 4 (43:04):
Started a mirror of Doula in two spots, say of
too many sixteen man leagues. So he got one carry
for one yard or whatever.
Speaker 5 (43:12):
It was.
Speaker 4 (43:13):
Yeah, very upsetting.
Speaker 1 (43:14):
Ten point nine points for McCormick. Here, what do you
make of this? Because we already touched on Rock Bowers
and moving down Jacobe Myers in our rankings. If you
know Connell is going to be out long term, do
you like Sincere McCormick, is he a guy we can
throw in because I don't even know if we can,
because Zamir White, Alexander Madison, they might return. Like it
(43:36):
just feels really messy.
Speaker 4 (43:38):
Yeah, Sincere McCormick to me, is a jag, you know
what I mean. He's a guy that you hand the
ball to. He's gonna go get you. You need three yards,
he'll go get your three yards. You need a yard,
he'll get you three yards. You need six yards, he'll
get you three yards, you know what I mean? Like,
I feel like that's he's not a game breaker. He's
not a guy that is going to, you know, do
(44:00):
a ton, But if you give him fifteen carries, he's
going to wear you down. Stamina is the name of
his game. This is what he did at UTSA right,
So a good player, but for the NFL. He's kind
of a feeling now, so I'd expect if Zamir was back,
he would get a little bit more. You know, Amir
Abdula has been a special teams guy for a long time.
(44:21):
That's kind of how he's kept his you know, helmet
for so long in his career, going so long, you know,
And it seems like Antonio Peers is making decisions at
random recently. So you know, I don't understand why McCormick
had so much more. He was fine in this game,
which is good, but I just don't think I'm going
(44:45):
to bank on that on a week to week basis,
especially if some of those other guys come back.
Speaker 1 (44:49):
Agreed. We got Matt Scientists in the chat saying, Seth,
he gave me some advice a few weeks back and
said if it helped you, to thank you, and if not,
you didn't recommend that person. I think that was a
Demarc Robinson. I actually recommended it, if I'm reminded. So
he's saying he did lose, but if he wins this
speak you're in the playoffs. Appreciate you, my mad scientist,
Thanks for not coming from my head on that. And
(45:09):
remember I honest, say anything, Bogs. I don't say anything
that week.
Speaker 4 (45:13):
No, No, of course not. I don't know. I didn't.
I wasn't there. I deny, deny.
Speaker 1 (45:17):
Let's talk about something we did see this week. Bogman
in the Burg. The Steelers win as favorites, being the
Browns twenty seven to fourteen. We talked about in the
absence of George Pickens kind of nerve this whole lures offense,
just two hundred and sixty seven yards of total offense.
We saw how important him stretching the field really can be.
Will you be starting any Pittsburgh players if GP happens
(45:39):
to not go next week against Philly? We know what
Jalen Carter and those boys upfront are doing stuffing the
run most weeks. We are expecting Pickings to be back
as of now. Is kind of what Deepak was telling us.
But just to you know, worst case scenario, he isn't.
Are you kind of out on this entire Pittsburgh offense
or you think you still roll nause out?
Speaker 4 (45:56):
It's it's tough, I mean nause you know, if you
were touchdown dependent and hope he gets one. I mean,
Warren is the better runner. But Warren cannot take a
workload like Nause can, so that's kind of you know,
in this game they were split. It was Warren with
thirty four snaps, he had nine carries and two catches,
so eleven touches, and Nause he only had twenty seven
(46:19):
snaps and he had eighteen carries, you know what I mean.
So ye, Nause is definitely the battering ram and he
will get his carries, but you're gonna hope, you know,
somebody slips and he carries a big one. His vision
also isn't great. We know that from watching him for
so long, seth You know, sometimes he picks the right
route and lane and sometimes he doesn't. So he's gonna
(46:42):
give you one hundred percent on every carry. That's why
we love Nause. But yeah, it's gonna be tough to
start anybody, but Pickens, I mean, Pat Fryarmuth has been
more involved. He he's kind of learning Russ kind of
you know, to get open when Russ starts to move around,
and Russ has been looking for him and those, so
he's becoming just a little bit more dependable. Like I
had started him over Kyle Pitts, Yeah, even over you know,
(47:06):
even against the Eagles here. But yeah, not a lot
to get excited in the matchup against Philly next week.
It's and it's a tough run for the Steelers. It's Philly, Baltimore,
Kansas City. It's a tough run.
Speaker 1 (47:16):
Baltimore would be a great matchup hopefully though for some
of these weapons. If we can get the likes of
Pickings back, I think that'll be a fun one. So
excited for that. Anything else from this game for you.
Jamis Winston continues to play Jameis Winston football Baby twenty
four for forty one, two hundred and twelve yards, two touchdowns,
two interceptions.
Speaker 4 (47:36):
I mean Keanu Benton getting a pick. I did not
have that on my Bengo card.
Speaker 1 (47:40):
Oh yeah, this is not a Pittsburgh Steelers podcast.
Speaker 4 (47:44):
I love that.
Speaker 1 (47:45):
I love That's a great tick up for us outa
Wisconsin a few years back.
Speaker 4 (47:48):
And he's a lot of fun. I'll tell you what
with Cleveland, you know, getting back to it and not
turning it into a Steelers podcast. We did see Jerome
Ford just get a ton of snaps again forty and
twenty three outs, Chubb twenty six and twelve and Chubb
keeps getting his eleven to fifteen carries for not many yards,
so we saw Ford involved a little bit more. They
(48:11):
got Kansas City next week. That's a tough matchup for
any running back. So Ford is becoming way less dependable.
Jerry Judy is becoming way more dependable. Got free and
scored a touchdown early, which I thought Jamis was passing
the line, but apparently he wasn't. They didn't even look
at it. Eli Moore is becoming more kind of dependent
(48:31):
as well. And in jok thirteen targets, they are slinging
the ball with Winston and they're going to be playing
from down in most of these games as well. Not
a good team only three wins on the season, so yeah,
I think Winston has at least brought a lot of
these pieces back Judy and and Joku specifically, but I
just don't think. I don't think Nick Chubb has it anymore,
(48:54):
so I think it's going to be a tough call
to start him in any scenario.
Speaker 1 (48:57):
Are Judy and Nijoku mustar's rest ce seventeen Fantasy points
today for both of them. Najok, who, as you allude to,
thirteen targets after seeing seventeen on Monday Night Football last week.
He has thirty targets in two weeks.
Speaker 4 (49:09):
Bogman, Yeah, I mean, and I think they said after
last week's game it was like fourteen percent of his
career yards with Jamis Winston as his quarterback through four
or five games or whatever it is. So yeah, Jerry
Judy and Winston have a connection. So he's definitely a
must start in DJOKU. Yeah, I mean, with if he's
(49:31):
gonna keep getting thirteen targets, he'son must start for sure.
So yeah, they're gonna keep slinging it. This is Winston's game,
and you know, you live by the sword, you die
by the sword. That's just how it goes. You know,
they beat Pittsburgh in the first game because Winston was
connecting on those and not having terrible picks, and then
they lost the game against Denver because of the picks.
(49:52):
They lost this game because of the turnovers as well.
So this is what Winston is.
Speaker 1 (49:58):
Let's move to Arizona where the Seahawks that get the win.
They're starting to separate themselves in the division. Thirty to
eighteen against the Cardinals. Really good day for Zach Sharbonay
in the place of ken Walker. Twenty two carries one
hundred and thirty four yards, two touchdowns, also seven for
fifty nine through the air. I mean, this is what
we kind of thought Sharp could be in the NFL, right,
(50:19):
Bog's coming out of UCLA highly touted prospect Day two
draft capital but just went and you know, it was
always kind of behind ken Walker. So I think Sharbonay's
proving he's a must start down the stretch. If Walker
continues to miss time.
Speaker 4 (50:32):
Yeah, yeah, I mean, if Walker miss his time, you
were starting Sharps. I mean, he is a great running back.
And I was just so disappointed that he got drafted
by Seattle because Ken Walker is one of the best
running backs in the league in my opinion. Now, he's
had a lot of injury issues, so yeah, it was
smart for them to get a guy like Sharps to
(50:52):
back him up. But yeah, I mean this was Hey, look,
Sharp is up. Let's give him all the touches. Twenty
nine touches for this dude, and he scores twice against
a Cardinals evens that had been pretty good as of recently.
So to see him run downhill was a ton of fun.
And you know, I think Walker's back next week, So
(51:13):
are we gonna see maybe more of a split because
Charbonnay had such a good game.
Speaker 1 (51:16):
We thought that before though, right, and.
Speaker 4 (51:18):
It doesn't happen. Walker's so good. So yeah, it's just tough.
And I know either are people complaining about Metcalf. Metcalf
has been a disappointment for sure. I kind of put
that more on Gino. I don't really like Gino, but
you know, it is what it is. JSN is getting
everything right now. So yeah, I mean, Seattle looking pretty solid,
(51:40):
but Metcalf is becoming touchdown to Pennant, which is a bummer.
Speaker 1 (51:44):
Yeah, so you can cut Tyler Locke if you had him.
He was blanked again today.
Speaker 4 (51:48):
You shouldn't have him anymore. Yeah, you should have been
gone a while ago.
Speaker 1 (51:50):
Yeah, DK, like where you think you're gonna be ranking
Dk rest of the season because JSN, as you alluded to,
he goes five for eighty two and one. He's been
low end wide receiver one all season long. I think
he'll stay in that weekly ranking mix for that top
twelve discussion. But is DK Moore a top twenty four
guy now?
Speaker 4 (52:09):
Yeah? Low end wide receiver two probably becoming more touchdown
dependent and big play dependent. So the schedule for Seattle
coming up is Green Bay, Minnesota, Chicago, so lukewarm on
that schedule. So yeah, I mean Metcalf is becoming big
play dependent. So there's some guys You're gonna have some
(52:31):
some questions like would rather start Ridley against Jacksonville? Would
you rather start DK Metcalf. I'm sure that's gonna be
the decision for some people. So it's we're we're getting
to that time where I'm just you know, our loyalty
is gone. Oh yeah, we're only starting the guys who
we think are gonna get us there. And Metcalf has
(52:51):
been somewhat disappointing here.
Speaker 1 (52:54):
Looking at Arizona Kyler Murray. Okay, game for him twenty
five or thirty eight, two and fifty nine, two tuddies,
two interceptions, didn't run as much as we would have liked.
Big game for James Connor on the ground ninety rushing yards,
and then he also adds four for thirty two and
one through the air, So good to see it bounce
back from him. Trey McBride continues to be peppered with
targets fourteen targets seven for seventy is allergic to the
(53:17):
end zone still and mar four for forty nine. I
know we're probably starting Connor rest the way we're starting
Trey McBride for sure. Are we starting Kyler, and we're
starting Marvin Harrison junior rest of season Bob me in Arizona.
They'll be up against New England next week and then
Carolina and then the Rams.
Speaker 4 (53:34):
It's a good schedule, So I do I like the
schedule against some of these weaker teams, especially you know,
New England and Carolina. I don't have a ton to
play for. Uh So, yeah, I do think that we're
still starting Marv in a lot of scenarios here, But
I completely I completely understand if you just don't want
(53:55):
to mess with Marv. I get it, you know. But
still got eight targets, so he's still seeing a lot
of targets. He's still one of the first looks. It's
just it's been a disappointing year again, such as the
roller coaster with rookies in the NFL. Right, they're not
all puku nakua, you know what I mean. They're not
all going to work out one hundred percent every single time.
(54:17):
So it's been a disappointing year. If he was drafted
in the fourth round, it's been a great year for him,
but being a top ten pick and not producing like
one is just disappointing. So definitely not worth what we
paid for him this year. But it's tough to bench him.
You know, you have to be in one of those
spots where you have really good options, and you know,
(54:38):
if you have really good options in bench him.
Speaker 1 (54:40):
But Jerry, Judy or Marv rest the way.
Speaker 4 (54:43):
I think I want Judy going with Winston right now.
So yeah, Jordan Addison, m probably Addison. Yeah, I mean
these are you know, these probably should be easier decisions
for me. I just I know what Marv has in
the bank. He just has not been pulling it out
at the ENF level yet.
Speaker 1 (55:01):
Two more games to round us out, starting in Los
Angeles where the Rams beat the Bills in a high
scoring affair forty four to forty two. Josh Allen Six
total touchdowns for our guy, who I think he locked
up the MVP this week regardless of the result. Three
touchdowns through the air, three hundred and forty two yards passing,
ten carries, eighty two rushing yards, three rushing touchdown, bad
(55:24):
game for James Cook because of that only six for
twenty on the ground got two receptions for nine yards.
Khalil Shakira showed up five for one oh six and one.
Great to see that Amari Cooper back in the mix,
which I believe. I believe it was Welsh who called
a big Amari Cooper week coming six for ninety five
on fourteen targets.
Speaker 4 (55:44):
MATC.
Speaker 1 (55:44):
Collins got into the act as well. How do we
sort out this buffalo offense as a whole? Rest of
the way, we know James Cook probably an automatic start.
I think Khalil shaker has been there for a while.
I guess it's more about Amari in these fringe guys.
Speaker 4 (55:58):
Yeah, now that Omari has kind of a rapport going here,
he's healthy. They're not playing in the snow. Its wheels up.
I mean a MARII Cooper is still one of the
better ones.
Speaker 1 (56:07):
Even with Keon Coleman potentially returning.
Speaker 4 (56:09):
Soon, even with keonkle I love Keon Coleman, but I
don't care. Amari Cooper is the guy fourteen targets in
this game, and you're gonna start James Cook again. They're
not gonna get down as quickly as they did against
most other teams. Uh, you know the rest of the
way here. So they completely abandoned the run. I mean
they threw the ball thirty seven times and they ran
(56:31):
it seventeen times, so they didn't have the ball a
lot to start, and then they just completely abandoned the run.
So Cooper is up, Shaki is up. Obviously you're still
rolling Cook, You're still starting Josh Allen. I mean, he's amazing.
Six touchdowns is unbelievable.
Speaker 1 (56:48):
So, I mean I have to see how many fantasy
points that? What is that? Is that a good That's
gonna be fifty?
Speaker 4 (56:53):
Right?
Speaker 1 (56:54):
Did he hit fifty?
Speaker 4 (56:55):
I think so? Three rushing in three passing and three
hundred yards he had to and eighty two yards rush. Yeah,
dude have gone over fifty.
Speaker 1 (57:01):
So my goodness, yeah, my goodness.
Speaker 4 (57:04):
Just an unbelievable game for him. So yeah, I mean,
I'm not worried about James Cook with a bad matchup,
and to me and MARII, Cooper is almost a must start.
Speaker 1 (57:13):
Fifty one point nine fantasy points for Josh Allen, my goodness.
Hopefully everyone had him is winning this. What I want
you to do is DM Boggs and I on Twitter
if you're somehow losing with Josh Allen in your life,
I just want to see what other mistakes were made.
Speaker 4 (57:28):
Yeah, you started a mir Abdullah and all these other guys.
No points, Kyle Pitts in there.
Speaker 1 (57:35):
Ray Davis, Yeah right right, looking at the rams here,
not a ton to note, I don't think, really, Bogman,
we had Kyen Williams find the end zone twice again.
That was really nice to see. Twenty nine carries eighty
seven yards and those two scores pooka back in on
the action twelve for one, sixty two and one Cooper
Cup five for ninety two and one as well. I mean,
(57:55):
I think it's pretty much been these three guys and
really nobody else from this team for quite some time.
And I think that's the rest of the way, right.
Speaker 4 (58:02):
Yeah, I mean I like the broadcast. Oh, Blake Korum
trying to come in here and give Kyron Williams a
little bit of a breather. Thirty one touches for Kyra
in this one, twenty nine carries in two receptions. I mean,
the dude is a workhorse. He's just unbelievable. And korm
At eight carries for thirty four yards. But Pooka, Pooka
(58:22):
made some plays in this game where you just you're like,
how does he do this? He's like laying on He's
almost on his back, horizontal with the field, makes the
catch and then just lands on his back. Doesn't knock
the wind out of him. He doesn't care. He's so young.
I mean, it just doesn't matter to him. Twelve for
one sixty two and he ran one in just incredible
(58:44):
weeks here. So yeah, I mean the Rams offense is healthy.
They just put up forty four on the bills, so
they're doing just fine.
Speaker 1 (58:51):
Yeah, they're in the mix as well. It's going to
be a tight race out there in the NFC West.
I'm super intrigued to see if the Rams can get
back in the mix or is the Seahawks division to lose.
It'll be fun and I think rest of the way,
you gotta feel good about the Rams, San Francisco, the Jets, Arizona.
No one that's scaring me, I think from a defensive perspective.
So wheels up on all your Rams rest of season,
(59:14):

round it out here in San Francisco where the forty
nine ers. They were feisty in this one. They got
it done thirty eight to thirteen against the Chicago Bears.
Caleb Williams still found two touchdowns. Didn't have a ton
of yards in this one, one hundred and thirty four
yards on just twenty three attempts. Swift, bad day for him,
(01:00:21):
I would say overall, he let managers down. Keenan Allen
kind of flowed back to hit his you know old
ways as well. Roma Doomsay found the end zone twice.
Like what are we doing here with Chicago rest of
the season, Like, let's go back to the playoff trust Demeter,
DJ Moore, Rome, Keenan Swift, Caleb. Give me a rating
for these guys.
Speaker 4 (01:00:40):
On all of them, two on all on just on
on the Bears overall, I think I would have to
play two. I mean, we've seen a big shift down
on DeAndre Swift. Ever since Brown took over as AOC,
right like that has been it's been way more passing
for the Bears than it has been. Continued again today,
(01:01:02):
I think it was twenty four pass attempts. I guess
that would be if you count all the sacks, twenty
eight pass attempts because four more for four more sacks
for Caleb Williams, who was already leading the league by
nine in sacks taken, so or eight or nine, So
just a ton here he holds onto the ball too long.
Jon Jay Swift another fourteen for thirty eight just a
(01:01:24):
bad game. Yeah, I mean O Donsay scored twice. That's awesome.
When was the last time Adnsday scored before this game?
Do you remember? I'm looking at.
Speaker 1 (01:01:35):
It the week Keenan Allen was out what was.
Speaker 4 (01:01:38):
It September twenty second at Indianapolis. That was his last touchdown.
So hey, he had one hundred yard game in there.
He's had six for sixty five, but every other game
has been under fifty yards for him, So I mean,
we're not depending on Romadunsday at this point. DJ Moore
got eight more targets. Keenan Allen had five targets. But
I just these guys are not very trustable in this offense.
(01:02:01):
The Bears are still a mess, specifically the old line
and Caleb holding the ball too long. So yeah, it's
just it's hard to trust them and say I'm definitely
starting my Bears over whoever's on your bench.
Speaker 1 (01:02:14):
Yeah, yeah, I'm kind of at that point. I've been
playing Keenan the last two weeks just because I've been
strapped with some of these these injuries and the buys,
and then I went back to him today over Dave
Nadjoku and it Chillie burned me so I'd rather roll
out of you know, a second tight end in some
leagues and then I have to trust them. So it's
it's been. It's been a tough go, but we know
the upside still there, right like we saw last week
(01:02:35):
against the Lions.
Speaker 4 (01:02:36):
Yeah, I mean the offense can bow up and you know,
be awesome. Caleb Williams still has it in him to
be good. It's just, you know, it is a coin
flip as to whether it is going to work or not.
It does. It seems to not make a ton of sense.
You would think it'd work better in this game then
on short rests against the Lions on the road. So
(01:02:58):
and it didn't. So I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:03:00):
I was saying we were gonna get the dead cat
bounce here too, and the Bears were gonna show up
and at least maybe covered the spread here against San Fran.
They did not at all. San Fran rolled in this
one with thirty eight points. George Kittle six for one
point fifty one on six targets. He's been one of
the best values all season long, especially at a tight
end position that has been struggling. Juwan Jennings seven for
ninety and two touchdowns, egg on my face. Had a
(01:03:23):
lot of people ask me this week Jennings versus other people.
Keenan Allen is one of them. I rolled Keenan, So
I apologize about that one, folks, But how do we
feel like? Obviously you're starting kittle rest the way, he's
a five out of five on the Trusto Meter. Where's
Jennings after this big game? And where's Deebo Samuel? More importantly,
two for twenty two through the air, did see five
(01:03:43):
carries four thirteen yards. Might see more action in the backfield,
but he has not been effective carrying the ball at
all this season.
Speaker 4 (01:03:50):
Yeah, I'm done with Deebo. I've had enough. Would you
cut him?
Speaker 1 (01:03:53):
Lamb mind him?
Speaker 4 (01:03:54):
Yep? I would landmine him. I think he's done. I
would there We've mentioned a bunch I'd rather Ray Ray.
I mean that there are a bunch of other guys
that we that I would rather have right now than
Deebo Samuel. And you know, I don't know what it is.
I don't know if it's the contract extension. I don't
know if he's been playing with an injury the whole year.
I don't care. It ain't working right. Yeah, you can't
(01:04:15):
find a role in this game with all of the
running backs down, and you know, I just I don't understand.
You know, Jennings still awesome, Kittle back at it now
that they're not in the snow, Grindo huge, Christian McCaffrey,
like day deebo is doing nothing right now for you.
So yeah, I am just I've had enough of debo.
(01:04:37):
Maybe I'm doing it too early. I know there's still
a lot of talent there. He's not getting separation, he's
not getting burst yards, he's not doing anything. So I'm done.
I think everybody else is okay. Like, if Grenda's good
to play, let's go with Grenda. If not, I think
Patrick Taylor could be your Waiver Wire pickup of the
week here because it just you know, it's behind the
(01:04:57):
old line. In the passing game, it's you know, not
hard to run when you have a big path to
run through. So I think that you know, you can
plug in a jag and roll with the Niners offensive line,
so especially if Trent Williams comes back. So yeah, I
think the rest of the Niners offense is okay. I
was worried about the health of it. I think this
(01:05:17):
shut me up and proved me wrong that I, you know,
should not have had as much worry about this offense.
But yeah, Debo is another story all to himself. I
am done.
Speaker 1 (01:05:29):
Rams, Miami Detroit for San Francisco rest season, so very
appealing schedule. I know Miami's defense has been kind of
tough on paper.
Speaker 4 (01:05:36):
But we were saw today.
Speaker 1 (01:05:38):
Yeah, that's what I was about to say. And the
Rams same type of situation there. They were leaky and
Detroit's also been leaky as of late with all their
injuries mounting up. So yeah, I think it's wheels up
on Jennings and Kittle and whoever's in that backfield rest
of the way, and Boggs has given us the green
light to go ahead and land mine Devo. Samuel never
thought the day would come.
Speaker 4 (01:05:58):
Yeah, I think it's about time. I think he's done.
Speaker 1 (01:06:00):
We got Tony in the chat saying I'm hyped. I
gotta buy and now I can rest my players four
