Speaker 1 (00:01):
What is going on? Everybody?

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Welcome to the wrap up on Sunday Evening with Fantasy Pros.
I'm your host, Scott Bogman. I'm joined by Tara er Roberts. Tara,
what is going on? I know you're trying to line
everything up because you got Dynasty seasons on the line.
The Packers are in like the last three minutes of
this game as well. Are you are you with us?

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Are you here somewhat?

Speaker 3 (00:24):
I think I just watched a catch. I don't know
if it's for okay.

Speaker 4 (00:29):
It's like fourthd out like I'm here, I'm here, No,
I'm but I really am like here.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Man, it has been a crazy day. I've got I
got James cooked in a couple of leagues. I'm sure
that happened to you as well, Tara. I had him
in one spot so that was nice. But lots of
massive performances today, lots of injuries today. It is a
wild one. So you guys know this is how it's
gonna go. We're gonna go over injuries. First, No Deepak today,

(00:57):
he could not make it today, so we don't have him.
So it's just gonna be Tarry and I kind of
guessing we will talk about the top five storylines of
the day. We'll go over who you are panicking about,
and then answer your questions at the end as well.
So let's just go ahead and dive in and talk
about some of these injuries.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Tara, it was not a fun Sunday at all.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Obviously, we had Patrick Mahomes the biggest name to go down,
but we also had Rome not show up today.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
I learned that about two minutes.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Before kickoff that I saw that Woody Marks got hurt,
Christian Watson got hurt, DeVante Adams got hurt. We saw
Pooka go down at the end, Devin Neil with the hamstring.
I mean, there's eleven hundred guys. It feels like got
hurt today. So let's just start with Patrick Mahomes. Gardner
Minshew is the next man up if this is an

(01:49):
ACL injury, right yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Yeah, and it looks like it is. And unfortunately that
is bad news.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
Now. Granted, you know when backup quarterbacks come in sometimes
it's not always is a good indication. Like we had
Marcus Mario to come in the week before in relief
of Jane Daniels when he got, you know, reinjured.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
There looked objectively awful right.

Speaker 4 (02:08):
Came in and had a fine fantasy game this week.
So maybe there's upside ahead, upside ish to keep the
broat the boat somewhat steady there for our fantasy guys
in terms of who we're using, which at this point
is really just it is just Rashi Rice and Travis
Kelcey occasionally at Kareem Hunt there. But yeah, unfortunately, I

(02:30):
think we're going to be without him remainder of the
year there, and it just kind of puts us in
a position where we're looking ahead to next year with
our with our Chiefs players.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Oh man, and you know this late in the season.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
If it is a bad acl injury and multiple ligaments,
that could affect going into next year as well. So
just bad news for the Chiefs all the way around here. Now,
a couple of these other ones, Romadune say, I would
think he would be back to play since he was
so close to playing this week. Wood he going down though,
we saw Chawar Jordan take over there, Christian Watson obviously,

(03:04):
Jayden Reid is back, DeVante Adams and Pooka go down.
I mean, I think we'll see a lot of running
in Parkinson and Whittington, I guess too too at well
with the Rams as well, Devin Neil kind of would
break into a big mess of running backs between Audric
Estime and Taysom Hill and the Evan Hole the rest

(03:27):
of the crew there. So just a bunch of ugly ones.
Which one concerns you the most? Out of all of
these here, I think.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
The one that concerns me the most is, uh, Devin Neil.
Oddly enough, that's crazy, but we'd become very comfortable with him,
especially in PPR. We were looking at him, It's like, Okay,
you know, we're seeing the promise. This is you know
what we thought in the off season in terms of
when we were looking at him and thinking, okay, maybe
this is somebody who could you know, be potential relief

(03:57):
there for Alvin Kamara have.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
A little role.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
He's done well and just as you're getting comfortable with him,
now all of a sudden we have to potentially turn
to Adric Estimate.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
I don't feel so comfortable with this backfield now.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
There was nothing that indicated that there's any direction that
you want to go with this backfield if Devin Neil
is not there, So maybe we have Alvin Khmara return.
I don't think I was assuming that he would be
shut down for the year there as well, So unfortunately,
I think the Saints just becomes past catchers at this
point and we maybe have to abandon the backfield. The
others concerned me less because there are clear direct pivots there,

(04:30):
like Jawar Jordan looked good.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
He really did.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
Yeah, in the volume, they looked like they trusted him.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
That's interesting. I'm gonna put him in my little weaver
Wire video.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
And because there's some potential upside if Marx is out
and Nick Chubb as well, so that one is also
pretty interesting.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Just some some tough injuries in Championship week. I mean, uh,
you know, some of them helped me, a lot of
them hurt me. My opponent had wood he Marx in
one league, so that helped me. But obviously I had
Rome and I got a donut from him because I
learned too late. Christian Watson heard as well. I was
kind of depending on him. So lots of injuries here,

(05:09):
Bam Knight.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
I guess.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
So between Juar Jordan and Michael Carter, if you have
to pick up one, Tara, which one do you think
you'd set your priority on right now.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
I think I would lean as crazy it sounds, I
do think I would lean towards Juar Jordan, just because
it does seem like he would have the bulk of
the carries there. And the problem is with Michael Carter,
we don't know, because Arizona does not give details at
all in terms of anything, we don't know if a
Mario de Mercater was truly ready to go, or if
they just put him in there just to, you know, okay,

(05:42):
let's let's get you going, Let's get you some snaps, let's,
you know, get you loose here, and then we can
you know, fully release you next week. Because he had
been utilized a lot more than that, even in splitting
work with Bam Knight. So the lack of usage there,
I don't know if that was an indication of okay,
it's just going to be one hundred percent Michael Carter,
we're good to go, or more so that the injury
was just still kind of lingering there and he really

(06:04):
needed another week because it was more of a game
time decision. He was not clear on Friday. There was
no practice in full there, So I hesitate to really
solidify that Hey, this is Michael Carter's backfield moving forward,
and we're not going to have any funny business from Arizona.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
Yeah, I mean Arizona has been quite a mess here.
Let me ask you this now, Luther Burden banged up,
if Rome doesn't come back, is it just DJ Moore
to the moon? I mean they're playing your Packers, who
have been a pretty good defense. Obviously, Micah Parson's going
out if he's going to miss an extended period of time,
takes a lot out there. But he did score two

(06:40):
touchdowns today. He looked like Spider Man going up a
wall on that second one. That was crazy. So he
looked good today. But is he trustable even though he
really hasn't been for most of the scenes, specifically in
the back half here.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
You know, production doesn't repeat in every single match up there,
But it is concerning that he was shut down by
the Packers. Now perhaps things would open up and the
fact that they would have to if both players are
out force targets there, or perhaps we get that other
you know, Colson Lovelin boom game there.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
So there's other routes that they can go.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
They have two fine pass catching running backs as well,
and they can lean aggressively on the ground game, which
is probably the better route to go there against the
Packers anyways. So yeah, it could be DJ Moore to
the moon. You would have to play him just if
everybody is out there. It'll be interesting to see how
serious this injury is to Burden and what the exact
reaggravation was with a doonesay, this is another one we're

(07:33):
going to have to play by ear there and see
because when Luther Burden went out it was a blowout,
so we don't really know if it was you left
the game because there was absolutely no need there and
you could have returned.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
This was our division on the line.

Speaker 4 (07:45):
Or if this was just like, hey, this is serious,
you might be at risk next week.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
All right?

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Any more other injuries you want to talk about? Or
should we go to some storylines now.

Speaker 4 (07:55):
Just real quick, because there's one that you hit on
very importantly there, DeVante Adams hamstring injury. Kinnakua going down there,
Matt Stafford does tend to tilt towards the tight ends,
and Kobe Palkerson has been hot, so that one. I
think it is really legit in terms of what waiver
wire out there.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
Do you think he scored that?

Speaker 2 (08:12):
That did not look like a touchdown to me on
that replay, I thought he was about the six seven
inches short. So but they gave it to him. It
doesn't matter. It doesn't matter now they gave it to him,
So all right. We will be right back after this
to talk about some of the storylines from week fifteen.

(09:18):
All right, let's get to some storylines. Tara and I
want to start on a positive note. Let's put our
best foot forward here. Let's be positive to start here,
and let's talk about the guys that really sent us
to the next round of the playoffs here, and we're
gonna start with James Cook. He did cook twenty seven
for twenty two, four, one oh seven and two. Also
had a receiving touchdown. We had other big performances. Six

(09:41):
total touchdowns from Trevor Lawrence was awesome. He had three
of those touchdowns all three passes to Travis CTN, which
was crazy. We saw Trevion with the two monster runs
for touchdowns. Kyron had a couple scores Swift, Tracy Amanra, Nico,
DJ Moore, Trey McBride, Dallas Goddard, Dawson Knox, and I'm
probably missing a couple because of the late slate. All

(10:03):
these guys scored multiple touchdowns to get us in to
the next round here. So, like I said, James Cook
got me in one, eliminated in three, pushed me in
one and eliminated me in three. So that was the
biggest performer against me. Who who helped you and who
broke your heart here, Tara, I.

Speaker 4 (10:23):
Got help Dan hurt by Travion Henderson at the same time,
the painful one was Amana Saint Brown. Would you believe
that I faced Amarra and Jamison Stacks in multiple Oh yeah,
that's that's not fun. I mean, I'm still in there,
like it can still happen, like it's they're very close.
But I'm not a happy camper on that combination there.

(10:46):
But it was good to see Travion Henderson shine through.
You would think, like, I don't know how many times
we can watch Travon look like just an absolute superstar
and then look at the next game and can you
to have Ramondra Stevenson who he's not bad, but he's
not He's not Trivion.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
He's not Travion.

Speaker 4 (11:05):
That's right, So yes, but please Patriots, release release our
Trevion and let him let him cook.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
Please?

Speaker 2 (11:14):
Who who is the least believable out of this group?
I guess maybe we should take out like Goddar and
Knocks because they're not going to score two scores every
single game. But like, is DJ Moore specifically if these
injuries to the wide receiver course Chicago, is that believable.
Is Tyrone Tracy scoring twice believable? I think maybe for
him it was because he just had way more than

(11:35):
we saw from from Devin Singletary this week.

Speaker 4 (11:39):
It's it's Tyrone Tracy because we have seen zero consistency
with the Giants going back to back in terms of saying, Okay,
Tracy was fantastic, let's run it back with that same usage.
Sometimes they'd like to get a little bit cute and
switch things up a little bit. We saw Tracy have
a fantastic game and then he came back and had
basically nothing. It was the Devin Singles' Show. So that

(12:02):
one is it's great to see it was a great matchup.
That one just makes me a little bit uncomfortable. You know,
he'll be right in there in RB two rankings, but
it's tough to raise him up to a certain level
even in a really good matchup because of the lack
of consistency from the Giants and who they dictate who
the carrieres will go to.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
Look at Seth hanging out with us. He's got the
day off and he's still hanging with us. Thank you, Seth.
What's going on, buddy? We got our big game tomorrow.
We're both Steelers fans, so that is tomorrow for us.
Let's talk about the dud Stara Quinn Shawn Judkins twelve
for twenty one. He had negative yards receiving Brees Hall.
We kind of suspected this, even though Brady Cook was
better than we expected. I feel like but not a

(12:40):
lot from Breece. Another bad week from gent who's just
I mean, the Raiders are. You cannot count on them anymore.
Manan Guy eleven carries for thirty three, only two targets
and no catches. Kream Hunt seeded work to Isaiah Pacheco
this week and maybe without Patrick Mahomes that is which,
by the way, they did confirm acl tear for Patrick

(13:02):
Mahomes I just saw. But Kareem Hunt six for twelve,
one catch for eight yards, didn't get in the end zone.
Stefan Diggs only three for twenty six. Lad McConkie down
to two for twenty. Brock Bowers did have six catches,
but only for twenty eight yards because Kenny Pickett sucks.
Mark Andrews couldn't get it done against Cincinnati, who's been
miserable against tight ends all year, and Hunter Henry with

(13:24):
only one catch. I guess from the New England guys,
maybe it was just a trevon day right and May
ran in two. So but the rest of these guys,
it's ugly. I mean, what's our trust level on Judkins
and bress Hall to start?

Speaker 4 (13:40):
Zero trust level on breas Hall, that's a super easy one.
Judkins is the one that was perplexing because I know
they were down, which does limit you in terms of
you know your upside on the ground right and you
know volume for carries. But at the same time we
had seen very successful usage in terms of checkdowns from
Shitar Sanders to both Judkins and Dylan Sampson, so I

(14:03):
was of the thought that okay, Dylan Sampson's going out
slide that work right on over there. We will have
no competition for Judkins, so it should be a solid
volume day on both ends in terms of on the
ground and receiving. And to get neither of them was
a little bit concerning there. So that one is the
most perplexing one. That was very strange in terms of
him being a real dud and what was also a

(14:24):
good matchup against the runs, So even if we were
playing from behind there, you should have been able to
take advantage of the situations.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
So that was an odd one.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
They do have Buffalo next week, who's run defense has
not been good, and then Pittsburgh, who's run defense. I mean,
they let James Cook run the same plate twenty nine
times and burst, but they are hit or miss. Genty's
just been bad. I don't even think we need to
talk about him. What about these receivers, Digs and mconkey.
What's your concern level there for these guys.

Speaker 3 (14:54):
McConkie.

Speaker 4 (14:55):
My concern level with mconkey is that, unfortunately, I think
this is it have, you know, difficult matchups and the
fact that Justin Herbert can't get the ball out unfortunately
because of and then we did see him do like
I don't know, it was a little bit better than
I expected there, but at the same time, he's struggling
to get the ball to receivers because of the offensive
line issues. But at the end of the day, he's

(15:16):
still a wide receiver one there. But Stefan Diggs, this
one is one that we really need a key in
on because he has struggled to be consistently successful. When
Kaishan Booty is healthy and the snaps leaned towards Kaishon
Booty and Matt Collins, and there's no consistency there for
Stefan did it Digs? It looks very similar to what
we saw in the beginning of the season when his

(15:38):
production was underwhelming and we were thinking, Okay, they're just
easing him back in because he's coming off with a
significant injury there. But I don't think this offense particularly
benefits him. So Stephan Diggs is the one that I
am concerned about because if there was a game for
him to have stepped up a little bit, there should
have theoretically been this one.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
You know what, I didn't even put him on here.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
But Joe Burrow also miserable day, Like I just I
don't think I'll put him on here because I was
doing this kind of you know during games and stuff,
and I just kept expecting him to all right. In
the second half, he's gonna be all right, and in
the fourth quarter he's gonna be fine. But they didn't
score a point. He looks depressed. No t Higgins Chase
had a huge game, but Brown didn't. P Ryan had

(16:19):
a bunch of rush attempts there as well. So what's
your overall expectations for the Bengals moving forward. Cincinnati has
at Miami and against the Cardinals, so two decent matchups here,
But Joe Burrow making us sad this week.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
That was one of the strangest games overall, right because
on the Baltimore end they won handedly, but who had
a good fantasy day there? It was the best that
we've got and it really wasn't all that So it.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
Was such a strange.

Speaker 4 (16:51):
He caused the one hundred yards and that was it.
That was all the points that got was literally those
hundred yards. So that was a peculiar game overall, where
just nobody was producing from a fantasy perspective, with oddly enough,
the exception being Jamar Chase there, who absolutely dominated. I

(17:11):
worry about Cincinnati one because you know, you would think
that the defense being bad it means it forces volume
and whatnot. But if they're struggling, they're they're obviously they're
no longer in play all contention, they're in a bad
place and frustrated there. The only person that appears to
be in a good place is Jamar Chase, and he,
you know, said some comments after the game that he's

(17:31):
gonna you know, maybe he needs to be there for
Joe and lift him up there. So obviously there's some
struggles going on there in the locker room. So I'm
hoping for the best there, but we'll move Joe back
a little bit in rankings. Miami has been middle of
the road. They can be a good match up there.
And at the end of the day, there's still volumes,
so he's still in play. Chase Brown is still in play.

(17:54):
Jamar is always in play there. But outside of that,
you get you get a little bit concerned.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
Rock Bowers, I mean, obviously been a down year. He
had the injury early, and then he had Geno Smith
to deal with, and now he has Kenny Pickett to
deal with. He's been a hard start recently at Houston.
This week in Week sixteen not great. The Giants to
end it out is not bad, But what is your

(18:22):
trust level on Brock Bowers moving forward?

Speaker 4 (18:25):
I was hoping that the change to Kenny Pickett would
benefit Bowers because obviously Kenny Pickett is not going to
chuck it downfield a lot. You see a lot of
shorter passes there that would have theoretically maybe benefited gent
from a past perspective. And Bowers as well, but we
didn't really see it produced there. Yeah, we've got concerns Bowers.
At least we still got the targets there, but the

(18:47):
lack of productivity is an issue. He's still ultimately a
guy that we're rolling out as a top five tight
end on a weekly basis there unless some guys have
just unbelievably fantastic matchups. But it's a little irritating, especially
because we've got Houston coming up that will not be
a fun one for him. So basically you're waiting until
Championship week for the good old days.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
God all right, let's talk about a couple of other concerns.
Here are we back in on JCM Jacory Krosky, Mari
good old Bill here eighteen for ninety six and a
scory looked really good. Obviously, there was no Chris Rodriguez
in this game. McNichols was in there. He also had
nine carries but only one catching he lost to fumble.

(19:27):
Not very dependent. It seems like maybe we are focusing
back in on Bill. But do you think this is
like a Ramandre Stevenson situation where as soon as he
Rod comes in, it's back to a gross mess. They
got Philly and Dallas to end it out both games
at home, which should be nice for them. And Philly's Rundy,
you know, improved a little today, but it hasn't been

(19:47):
good over the last month. Dallas has been better after
their trades and stuff. What is your trust ability level
here for JCM moving forward?

Speaker 4 (19:56):
I'm adding him just because of the fact that that,
you know, while the matchups aren't fantastic, if Chris Rodriguez
is out, he's talented enough that he should produce. No,
we don't have any pass catching upsides, so he is
definitely touchdown dependent.

Speaker 3 (20:11):
But it was the same thing with Rodriguez. It's the
same exact thing.

Speaker 4 (20:14):
The only difference is is that if you trusted Chris
Rodriguez is somebody that you wanted to roster, you can
trust rkrey Krosky merrit a little bit more if Rodriguez
is out, just because that would at least focus in
the carries on him getting a decent amount of volume
there to justify him as an RB two start.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
So I think it's worth it to see. You know,
it was more of a game time decision.

Speaker 4 (20:35):
Perhaps this is something that lingers for Rodriguez if he
doesn't come back. If he comes back, it does make
it a probably a not an ideal situation to trust him.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
All right, let's talk about some quarterbacks moving forward here, Tara,
there was I just want to know how much are
we trusting these new slash bad offenses in these situations
with the quarterbacks. Obviously we have Brady Cook looked okay today,
not good, right, probably not an NFL level. Before a
backup he was okay, got ad Ni Mitchell a touchdown. Anyway,

(21:06):
they're at New Orleans and then they have New England
to end it. You already talked about Breese Hall and
how you don't really want to start him. Does that
trickle over to obviously there was no Mason Taylor this week,
but ad Ni Mitchell and any receiver with the Jets
as well, Like, what.

Speaker 1 (21:23):
Kind of level?

Speaker 2 (21:23):
How far down bad do you need to be to
start ad And I, I guess is my question.

Speaker 4 (21:29):
You gotta be you gotta be down bad because it's
a pure upside swing. It's a high ceiling and it's
a super low floor. He's a boombus player regardless of
who's at quarterback there. I think that's just the nature
of him as a player, and New Orleans is not.
They're no slouch.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
Okay, yeah, not a deep.

Speaker 4 (21:45):
Tedor Roald McMillan didn't have the most fantastic day. They're
an adequate defense. They're right in the middle there. So
I fear you can turn to a d Mitchell if
you need that high upside swing.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
You're the underdog.

Speaker 4 (21:57):
You need to take a chance that it's going to
be one of those twenty point performances from him.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
But at the end of the day, it's not trustworthy.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
What about Gardner Minshew.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
I'll just rattle off these last two really, because you
said we're not trusting Pickett at all, right, so uh,
But Gardner Minshew at Tennessee not bad, but then at
home against Denver's not good. In Championship week and then
all Mayn Rivers looked, okay, the'se got San Francisco and
then Jacksonville. Are you trusting Not not really the quarterbacks

(22:29):
because of course we don't want to start Minshew with
Rivers if we don't have to. But the guys around them,
the Rashi Rice, the Travis Kelce's uh. And then for
Rivers it's Pittman and Downs and Warren and Taylor and
all those guys like the offensive the offensive viability with
these quarterbacks at the helm between Minshew and Rivers, Uh
are you are you buying into the pieces around them still?

(22:50):
How much are you lowering them?

Speaker 1 (22:52):
If so?

Speaker 4 (22:53):
For Minshew, I am buying into Rashi Rice giving them
match up tennessee, right, you gotta buy into it and
buying to Rice and Travis Kelce. I don't trust the
run game, but that's that's absent of Garner Minshew.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
That doesn't really matter with Rivers. Yeah, let's go.

Speaker 4 (23:13):
It looked fun, Okay, I don't know about the only
person that I do continue to be worried about is
Alec Pierce. So I'm not surprised we got that Josh
Down's touchdown. I mean, theoretically it makes sense that it
should be worn Pittman downs. That are the ones that
would be the more trustworthy options over Alec Pearce and

(23:33):
the deep ball there. So, so yeah, I'm kind of
in San Francisco is not a bad matchup. He can
handle them. Then you got Jacksonville pass rushers. You know
it's strong, but we'll see. And then obviously you got
to trust Jonathan Taylor. You got to keep plugging forward
there and finally at least we get a good matchup
against San Francisco.

Speaker 2 (23:48):
So yeah, on that one, Yeah, we'll see hopefully fingers cross. Yeah,
Jacksonville has been real good against the Runs, so that's
kind of a dicey matchup Championship week.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
But what are you gonna do? Ben Sjonthan Taylor. So
that's my thing.

Speaker 2 (24:00):
It's like, you can't look yourself in the face if
you bench Jonathan Taylor for anybody really, you know, Kenneth
Walker whatever is to say somebody right, and he goes
off and that guy doesn't like I just can't live
with myself if that's the case.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
So I'm absolutely with you.

Speaker 2 (24:16):
I want to ask you finally before we talk about
panic meter and answer some questions here. But some of
these situations, Videll was still over Hampton in snaps we
had we were back to Rico over Hubbard, and we
had a nice bounce back week from Ricky Pearsall. So
let's start with the Chargers running back situation here. Tara,

(24:38):
you know, I'm glad I'm asking you this instead of
having to answer it. But Videll forty two sixty six
Snaps he had twelve carries in a catch. Hampton had
twenty four snaps only with seven routes run, but he
had three more carries. Fifteen of his twenty four snaps
he ran on and had to catch as well, So
more snaps to Videll, but more or touches to Hampton slightly.

(25:02):
How do you think this is just going to be
a gross kind of fifty to fifty moving forward? The
Chargers have at Dallas and then at home against Houston.

Speaker 4 (25:12):
I do, and I think they're still going to lean
on the run game, so you do at least have
that reprieve that they're going to push forward on that.
But it makes sense that it's a committee. That's what
we saw when Naji Harris was healthy. It was Naji
Harris and Marin Hampton, both of them being used and
neither one of them having a toll ton of upsides.
So ultimately we might just be seeing exactly what the

(25:32):
Chargers wanted to do in the first place there.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
And this was I didn't I put this on the
sheet before I got the stats. I'm looking, sorry like
an old man at my phone. Sixteen for forty nine
for Dowdle in a score one for five on the
catches for him. We're down to eight for twenty nine
for Cuba one catch for nine yards. And you know,
the previous week they had the bye week lass week
with the previous game it they had gone back to Cuba,

(25:55):
and I felt like that made sense because they gave
Cuba the money. He's a team captain and they want
him to be the guy, it seems. But right back
to Rico this week. So your trust ability on the
Carolina running back situation here moving forward? They have Tampa
Bay and then Seattle too tough run defenses.

Speaker 4 (26:14):
Yeah, it's weird because Tuba had become the more productive back.

Speaker 3 (26:19):
I still think it's committee. I still think it's hot hand.

Speaker 4 (26:22):
I guess they felt that Rico was hotter in the moment,
So it's a committee. You got to give the edge
slightly towards Rico, But I don't think you can put
either one of these guys confidently in the top fifteen,
maybe even not even the top twenty, to be quite
frank you just kind of look at it as a
low end RB two option.

Speaker 3 (26:39):
You lean towards Rico. If you have to go towards Cuba,
that's okay.

Speaker 4 (26:44):
But just realize that obviously we don't have the best
matchups in the world coming up.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
We prefer flex for these guys if we have to
start them. Ricky Piersaw at the Colts against Chicago. Nice
game here for the Niners. He had six targets, five catches,
eighty four yards. Are we finally back in now that
most people are eliminated? Who drafted Ricky Pearsaw? But he's
on the wire, probably in a decent amount of spots

(27:10):
because so many people got fed up. So what's your
trust level on Pearsaw moving forward? Is it just, hey,
we got this good game, wheels up now we're good?
Or is it all right, we got the good game,
but let's pump the brakes on the hype train here.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
Yeah, Ricky Pearsol going off on my Dynasty bench. Thank you, buddy.
I checked, just FYI I checked.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
He is sixty nine percent rostered in Yahoo Lake, So
surprisingly amount of people held on I'm sort of shocked
on that one.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
Probably people that got bounced.

Speaker 4 (27:40):
Yeah yeah, I thought you know that more people would
have been would have moved on here. This is you know,
maybe it just took him a while to feel more
comfortable here. But obviously this was a really good matchup,
but we have good matchups moving forward here, So yeah,
Pearsaw is apparently back on the table here.

Speaker 3 (27:57):
Everyone did well.

Speaker 4 (27:58):
This was a really good, well rounded fantasy game from
all of the pass catchers there.

Speaker 2 (28:03):
All right, let's get to the panic meter. Everybody in
the chat here. If you want to ask us your
panic meter questions, go ahead and throw them in the

In Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
All right, Tara, panic meter. I feel like we've done
a little bit of the panic meter in the storyline here.
But let's see what the comments have to say. Let's start.
I was doing fine until I had a mon Ra
playing against me. That's a funny comment right there, because
I feel like I was doing bad until I had

(30:04):
a Manra. But then I still I think I'm gonna
end up losing in that one. But let's just go
with Let's start with Rashi Rice, right, Rashi Rice with
Gardner Minshew. We mentioned the match up here for Kansas City.
It's at Tennessee Great versus Denver in the championship. Yikes,
So what are your thoughts on Rashi Rice moving forward here?

(30:27):
Who keeps getting stuck by these safeties too?

Speaker 3 (30:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (30:33):
When it comes to Denver, they are so okay, We're good,
We're full go. We're starting to again Tennessee, no questions
about that. Denver is the only question mark we have
in terms of what to expect. Denver I think is
a team that you can at least throw on as
long as you're not.

Speaker 3 (30:49):
One of the deep ball dependent guys here.

Speaker 1 (30:52):
So I think from that, don't throw it to Christian Watson.

Speaker 4 (30:55):
Yeah, yeah, I think from that perspective, we can still
get a little bit of volume underneath for Rashi.

Speaker 3 (31:02):
So or panic meter is at like a like a six,
more like a five. We're like, okay, but it is Rashi.
We're still we're still pushing forward.

Speaker 2 (31:09):
Here, starting him without too much stomach pain, I guess
is what you're saying here. Let's see this one is
from a Vulcan nerd panic meter for Drake London. I
don't need him, but I could use him if I
advanced to play the number two seed next week.

Speaker 1 (31:25):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (31:26):
So Drake London obviously missed a couple weeks in a row,
didn't play. The game was on Thursday, so there's a
little bit of a benefit here. Atlanta is at Arizona
and then home against the Rams the next two weeks.
Is it just look, if Drake London is up, we're
playing him. Is that how you go about it? Or
is it more of a it's we're in the playoffs.

(31:47):
If you have another option, I might start the other
guy over Drake. Which way are you lean in here, Tara?

Speaker 4 (31:53):
Because they're not competing for literally anything. If they play him,
then I would have to assume that he is one
hundred percent healthy and good to go. I just don't
feel confident that they're going to end up playing him. So, yeah,
if you've got him and you're you know, obviously holding on,
you're going to give it a week here see if
he does play.

Speaker 3 (32:08):
But I don't have a lot of confidence that we're
getting him back.

Speaker 2 (32:11):
All right, BTJ from our friend Indie stylist here, can
I trust him?

Speaker 1 (32:18):
Now? This is a good question.

Speaker 2 (32:19):
BTJ scored, But Jacoby Myers looks like the number one.
There obviously three touchdowns to Travis Etn as well. Brent
Strange wasn't involved a lot this week. Parker Washington just
came back. So your trust ability on Brian Thomas Junior.
Is this also like hey, week fifteen he finally found
the magic that he had last year?

Speaker 1 (32:41):
Or is this say, hey, you got in the end zone.
I don't care.

Speaker 2 (32:43):
It's Jacobe Meyer's time in Jacksonville.

Speaker 4 (32:46):
Yeah, sadly, if we were rounding out this against like, hey,
we're rounding this out against Arizona and the Giants, so
I would say, yes, we are at a trust level
with him on a scale where tens to the highest.
We are trusting it at an eighth there. But unfortunately
we've got Denver in Indy. Indy he had eleven Fantasy points.
Was okay, like just but you know, nothing special Denver.

(33:09):
Obviously we don't have to explain it there. We're trusting
him as a flex option. I do believe that I'm
with you that I think Jacobe is the is taken
over as the alpha there.

Speaker 3 (33:19):
But BTJ looks more like himself.

Speaker 4 (33:22):
This is a much better version and more confident version
because a lot of that was on him in terms
of his difficulties that he was having earlier.

Speaker 3 (33:30):
In the season there.

Speaker 4 (33:31):
So I think we're seeing a better version of him
to close out the season, a flex option, low in
flex option version that we can trust ish rest of
the season.

Speaker 2 (33:40):
Trust Ish, Yes, very convincing. All right, let's let's talk
about some of these questions because I feel like we're
gonna get more questions and panic meters here, so join
us in that. But before we get to your questions
or remind you guys about the Fantasy pros Discord community,
you can chat with other fans access to exclusive amas

(34:01):

ericson Thursdays at two eastern. You can come and get
your questions answered and be on the show at fantasypros

(34:22):
dot com slash chat. All right, everybody hit us with
your hard hitting questions for the final two weeks of
the fantasy season, unless you're a psycho and you go
all the way to week eighteen, which we do not recommend.
But Tarah, let's dive in on some of these questions here.
The first one just got on. Sorry if you guys
answered this, we did not yet Morris. Let's see, is

(34:45):
it time to pivot off of Tyler Warren heading into
the semi semis and finally Championship week Now the Colts, obviously,
Philip Rivers was okay today the Colts, Like we said
before San Francisco, this week, Jacksonville, the following your thoughts
on Tyler Warren and his trust ability moving.

Speaker 4 (35:02):
Forward, I'm good with the matchup. I would still start
him against San Francisco. I will be starting him, So
this is a endorsement here. I will be starting him
next week against San Francisco. I'm surprised that he didn't
have a better game here. This should have been inefitted
him and it was a good matchup. Seattle has struggl
against tight end, so this one was a little surprising
for me. But I would still roll him out against

(35:24):
San Francisco.

Speaker 2 (35:25):
All right, let's go to cal Jansen. Do I have
to start Burrow for the rest of the season? Am
I crazy? Cincinnati at Miami and then against Arizona to
end it out here?

Speaker 4 (35:38):
It depends on who you have, and if we get
T Higgins back, that would be nice to get T
Higgins back. Though I'm not going to give this was
one blip. Joe Burrow is quite the He is quite
the athlete there, and I do think that he can
bounce back from this one. This one was rough, very rough,
but Miami is an okay matchup. There should not be

(36:00):
any weather. It's at Miami, so there should not be
weather concerns or anything, so he can get to a bright, sunny,
happy place there and hopefully be able to bounce back.

Speaker 3 (36:09):
With t Higgins as well.

Speaker 4 (36:10):
It just depends on who else you have because we
have a lot of solid streaming options, like you know,
perhaps you have a Jacoby Prissette. Jacoby has proven like
you can go back to Jacoby matchup. Matchup does not
defend there, So yeah, there's there's options. It depends on
who you would start over him.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
Yeah, yeah, that's a good point, Like I would start
somebody in a pretty decent matchup here, but if the
if it's not a good matchup, I am starting Joe
Burrow right, So that is It's a tough one because
this week was so terrible. But I totally understand or
you're saying, Joe Burrow just needs a little sunshine. He
just needs to go to Miami feel a little bit better.

Speaker 3 (36:46):
I need to.

Speaker 2 (36:49):
Yes, it's about vacation time for us. The season is
winding down here. How about this one is from me
the me g father thoughts on on tech rest of
the season Lost Adams assume he's not playing next week.
I think that's a pretty good assumption for an old
man with a hamstring injury right before the playoffs here,
But what are your thoughts on Teta roa moving forward.

(37:12):
Carolina has Tampa Bay and then Seattle to end it.

Speaker 3 (37:16):
I'm good. Obviously, Seattle is a concerning matchup.

Speaker 4 (37:19):
Overall, Tampa Bay should be a good matchup for him.
We have we had no we have not had a
Tampa Bay matchup with them, but New Orleans this look.
I wasn't expecting much out of them against New Orleans. Again,
this was not a matchup where he did fantastic the
time before. They're an adequate defense in terms of defending receivers,
So erase this one from your mind and start him

(37:42):
against Tampa eighteen.

Speaker 2 (37:44):
J Mok asked Derrick Henry panic meter He did have
one hundred yards today, just didn't get in the end zone.
Rashina Lee had that big burst run. But they were
using Keaton Mitchell a little bit more in this game
as well. I feel like that might have been game script.
But I didn't see every second of that game, so
I don't know how much Mitchell was used early. But

(38:05):
what are your overall thoughts on Derrick Henry? Here? Are
you panicking about him? Baltimore ends with New England and
Green Bay, so a couple of tough defenses here.

Speaker 4 (38:15):
Panic would be more like at A four. It's on
the lower end there, because it's not a problem with him.

Speaker 3 (38:19):
He looked fine.

Speaker 4 (38:19):
This was just that weird game where it didn't make
logical sense. If someone gets one hundred yards, you would
expect a certain level of production and from a fantasy perspective,
and it was literally just those hundred yards.

Speaker 3 (38:30):
It was strange, very strange.

Speaker 2 (38:33):
Iron Mike has already moved on, so he's asking questions
for next week, Week sixteen, Are you starting Pierce Burden
or Mitchell? I think it's pretty easy Burden there.

Speaker 3 (38:42):
Huh, yeah, I can't see.

Speaker 1 (38:44):
He got banned up though.

Speaker 3 (38:45):
Watch that ankle injury there. If not, then if not,
then you might have to turn to might have to
turn to Pierce.

Speaker 1 (38:53):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I yeah, I know.

Speaker 2 (38:56):
Would it be Pierce over adn't I?

Speaker 3 (38:59):
I think so? Just because I trust him.

Speaker 4 (39:02):
It's about at that point, it's less about the quarterback
and more about which player do I trust on a
week to week basis to put up And it's and
it's Pierced that I trust.

Speaker 2 (39:11):
Yeah, And the Jets are on the road at New Orleans,
who just did a good job against McMillan as you
mentioned before, so good call. Out there, Vulcan Nerds said,
Hi was annoyed that the Ravens only targeted their tight
ends three times. Yeah, I don't get that at all.
Like this is a.

Speaker 3 (39:28):
Team the strangest game.

Speaker 1 (39:31):
So weird.

Speaker 2 (39:32):
We but I feel like every analyst on this channel
has hit you over the head with the Cincinnati is
so bad against the tight ends because they're giving up
I think I believe it was twenty three point six
half PPR points per game and somewhere in the twenties
twenty one point six, three point six, and the next
size was like fifteen point nine giving up points to

(39:52):
tight ends per game.

Speaker 1 (39:54):
So it was by them by a lot.

Speaker 2 (39:56):
So I got Lawrence, what's my move for the rest
of the season going into two week finals with the
number one seed next week? Luckily they only have party.
So are we rolling? Are we confident with Trevor Lawrence
at Denver and then at the Colts to end the season.

Speaker 4 (40:16):
If a quarterback is cooking, he's cooking, I lean into it. Yeah,
I would still start him.

Speaker 3 (40:22):
I would still start him.

Speaker 2 (40:24):
I think so too. Indy Stiles hendo over genty next week.
I think next week, next year, maybe the next year.
Out of It shouldn't be this way, because I do
think Genty is an amazing back. But man, the Raiders
got some rebuilding to do. They got a fixed quarterback,
they got a fix offensive line. They trade to Kobe
Myers and need wide receivers. I feel like they have

(40:45):
three pieces on offense to keep an eight to replace.
It's Jackson Powers Johnson, it is Ashton Genty, it is
Rock Bowers, and then a mess I guess Colton Miller.

Speaker 1 (40:56):
But that is gross.

Speaker 2 (40:57):
So please don't refer to Rivers as an old man,
as a person who's older than Adams.

Speaker 1 (41:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (41:05):
Look, I am older than everyone but one player in
the NFL, thank god, Philip Rivers came back.

Speaker 1 (41:12):
I'm younger than Philip Rivers, so.

Speaker 4 (41:16):
I am guilty of often calling yeah, he's old, and
I'm like, oh, I'm older.

Speaker 1 (41:21):
Yeah, yeah, that's the thing, right.

Speaker 2 (41:22):
Like Welsh and I were looking at it because we're
both forty two, so we're like, no, I think he
said no, I think Aaron Rodgers is older, and I
was like, Aaron Rodgers is eighty three as well, but
he is December. So we're older than everybody in the
NFL except for Philip Rivers.

Speaker 1 (41:43):
Now that he's back.

Speaker 2 (41:44):
I think that's all the questions that we have from everybody.
Thank you everybody. Tara, get out, give out your Twitter
and all your social media and let everybody know what
you're going to be doing this week and where they
can find all your great work.

Speaker 4 (41:59):

is right there on the screen. And I've got you know,
I do live shows for Fantasy Pros on the Instagram
and YouTube channels. You can also check out my YouTube
channel as well for Waiver Wire stuff and all that
good stuff. So and we're still we're staying strong. One
more week, people, one more week until the championship, so
hang in there, still positive.

Speaker 1 (42:18):
That's that's it. That's it.

Speaker 2 (42:19):
You can follow me at Bogman Sports on all the
stuff and yeah, I'll be here. I'll be here tomorrow
with Welsh and Joe on Out of Bounds. Welsh, Joe
and I are doing a lot of stuff at Betting
Pro Seth and I are also over at Betting Pros

all of our work. But that is going to be

(42:40):
it for us. Take it easy, everybody, and good luck
in your playoff matchups. I mean two more weeks left,
so getting down to the end. Go win that money.
