We will be announcing a winner right here on the channel,

(01:04):
so make sure to turn on notifications so you don't
miss your chance to claim this epic prize. All right, ericson,
who is your number one wide receiver to buy?

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Well, it's always Tetroll McMillan. He's always the number one
wide receiver buy. But he's not making the official list
because I figure i'll give you guys a break, and
you guys all know he's a buye. So the official
buye for the show is Rashie Rice for the Kansas
City Chiefs. We're one week away from him returning to
the Chiefs starting lineup. He had a six game suspension,
so there's one more game that he's going to miss
and he will return for the Chiefs starting in week seven.

(01:39):
And I just think that this is kind of the
last opportunity you'll get to try to acquire Rashie Rice. Now,
what will his role exactly be when he returned to
this offense that looks a lot different than it did
at the beginning. Of last year when Roshie Rice was
basically a fantasy wide receiver one. So I'm trying to
acknowledge that Xavier Worthy wasn't a thing as a rookie
that at that time markis Bryant was hurt take was

(02:00):
not even on the roster for the Chiefs. So the
ovinse looks a little bit different than it did during
Roshie Rice's stretch. But if Rice can hit the ground
running at least when he gets a couple games under
his belt, you could see him being a top ten
scorer out the wide receiver position for the rest of
the season. If he just steps in is the leading
target earner for the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs offense

(02:22):
still isn't perfect. Yes, getting exaber Worthy back I think
helped a lot, and they've shown dramatic improvements. But maybe
Rice is really the final piece of the puzzle that
really gets this passing game going even more to that
next level. And I think rice His price is going
to range all over the place because I think that
a lot of managers and fantasy gamers are trying to

(02:42):
figure out where should his value be. And I'm really
more on the bullish side of trying to buy into
Rashie Rice. So I think that especially if Rice is
on a roster that has a losing record, again, he's
not going to help you this week. So if a
manager has Rice and they need wins right now, I
think that this is an opportunity for a team with
a winning record to acquire Rice maybe a little bit cheaper,

(03:04):
with an idea of this guy can be a difference maker,
a league winner down the stretch in the second half
of the season when it matters most less so right
now when he's coming back from an injury and they
do want to get him, you know, get games under
his belt. So I think Rice is a really polarizing
player just in general. You know, he was a polarizing
player during draft season and then he got suspended and
then his draft stock basically tanked. But now that he's

(03:26):
going to be returning in just one week, I think
that I would rather be more aggressive on trying to
get someone like Rice on my team for that second
half surge potentially.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Yeah, I wanted to kind of dig down on this.
So when you like, are you are you planting your
flag on like I think Rashi Rice will be this
really high ceiling like league winner. Or are you just
saying it's a it's a risk worth taking, it's a
bet worth making at this point, or do you really believe,
like like when we are sitting here a week from now,

(03:57):
where are you going to be ranking Rashi Rice rest is.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Yeah, that's a really good question. I think that I'm
probably more on the process play behind it. I think
that he's a good bet to make, and I think
this is a transaction that nine times out of ten,
maybe nine times out of ten, but in retrospective, I
think that you're going to be happy that you attempted
to go after Rice because we all know in fantasy
that it really comes down to a couple of players,

(04:21):
right that make the difference. And I think Rashie Rice
at least showed last year that he can be a
difference making fantasy wide receiver, and I think that's worth
going after based on he was a second round pick
before the suspension all that nonsense happened. He was a
second round pick in redraft, and I don't think that
you're going to have to pay. If we did a

(04:41):
redraft today, I don't think he would be going in
the second round, and even knowing that he's going to
be coming back in one week, So I think you're
getting a little bit of a discount with him, and
I think that the upside with him is just so
tremendous that you packaged a couple of guys that are
higher floor players. I think that that's a deal I
would try to make to get Rashie Rice on my
raw or just because I think that even if it's
not Week seven where he hits the ground running, we've

(05:03):
seen guys come back. I mean Stevon Diggs, right, a
much older receiver coming off torn ACL The first couple
weeks of the season, it was kind of eh, he
looks like an older guy. And then week four comes
around and he just looks like a completely different player.
Oh man, he is like fully back and ready to go. Yes,
I just want Rice on my roster, going back to
what we talked about in the Running Back Show, acquiring
good players. I know Roshie Rice is a good player,

(05:26):
and I know that he, if he is fully healthy,
can be the number one receiver on this Chiefs offense
and be someone that could be a top ten guy
rest of season. So I want those guys on my team.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
Rashie Rice or Brian Thomas Junior rest of season.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Oh, man, I think I think I'd probably go with
Rashie Rice, just because I've seen it with the Holmes
and him connect and be that type of super productive player,
Whereas with Brian Thomas Junior and Trevor Lawrence, I don't
know if it's there necessarily. Brian Thomas Jor has been

(05:58):
trending in the right direction couple weeks. I don't know,
how do you feel about that? I'm I say Rice,
but I'm not. I'm not very sold on. I think
it's really close. Where are you Brian Thomas all the way?
Or you kind of.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
I'm definitely not either of them all the way. Okay,
they're back to back in ECR fantasypros dot Com slash rankings,
so and I think that's fair that they are very
close to each other. I definitely I think I might
prefer Thomas, but I would not, Like, there's not a

(06:31):
lot of conviction in me saying that, Like, I'm very
open to the idea that Rice is the correct answer here,
and like three weeks from now it might it might
be like, Wow, what an idiot. I can't believe he
considered Thomas over Rice, like like, there's a chance that
Rice comes back, and it's just very obvious in the
first half of his first game, like, oh yeah, like
this is this This guy was a league winner before

(06:52):
he got hurt last year, and now he's finally back
on the field. He's had all this time. Now rust
is a real thing. And also injuries, like you don't
always look the same coming back from them, And it's
been so long since the injury that I think everybody
is just assuming that he'll be totally fine. That may
be the case, right, there's not. It's not like we're
hearing reports that he's still working his way back injury

(07:13):
wise or anything like that. But you never know until
you're on the field and getting hit again. So that
is in the back of my mind with Rice, which
is why maybe I'm leaning more towards Thomas. The upside
is high for both. Right, we saw what Thomas did
at the end of last season, not with Trevor Lawrence,
but we saw what he did the end of last season.
We know what Rice can do when he's healthy and
getting usage. So like there is upside with both of these,
which is why I kind of go back like if

(07:34):
I so the guy on the other side of Rice
in the rankings. Again, if you know back to back
is a Flowers, I'd much rather ever see Rice than
Zay Flowers. That one is very easy for me because
I just think the ceiling is so much, like clearly,
so much higher for him. But with Thomas, you can
paint a picture for a high ceiling, and so that's
why I'm like a little bit. I find that one
to be difficult, which is why I asked you, because

(07:54):
I think you could go either way with it. Honestly.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
Yeah, No, that that one is. That one's that one's tight.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
I'll be curious to hear in the comments. I hope
everybody will drop in like who they prefer rest of
season as of right now, knowing that you're missing this
next week with Rice still but as of right now,
would you rather Brian Thomas Junior or she Rice rest
of the season? Definitely let us know. You've got another
big name here on your wide receivers to buy ericson.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Drake London wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons. Now, he's
coming off a bye week, so I don't think that
he is top of mine, but I just want to
remind people that he had a monster game in Week four,
doing a lot of his damage in the first half.
Six cats for nine to five yards in a touchdown
on seven first half targets, thirty eight percent target share,
forty percent target rate per oute run. This was the

(08:37):
exact box score in usage that I was expecting when
I was pumping up Drake London as a potential wide receiver.
One can at all draft season long with Michael Pennix
Junior as the Falcons quarterback. So another thing that I
looked at when looking at who were players to buy
after the first four weeks, first five weeks of the
twenty twenty four season, and some of those players were

(08:58):
receivers that were underwhelming a little bit, but there was
a possibility that they would see improved quarterback play throughout
the rest of the season. One of the top guys
that comes to mind, actually two of those players were
Terry McLaurin and Courtland Sidon, two guys that started out
last year really really bad, but they both had rookie
quarterbacks who took some time to kind of get more
games under their belt. Michael Penix Junior is not a

(09:20):
rookie quarterback. But he's not a veteran NFL quarterback where
he's played so many games at the NFL level. I mean,
this is his second year, but he only started a
handful of games as a rookie. So I still think
that Pennix is getting the NFL game under his belt.
And I just want to be buying into this Falcons offense.
They have one of the top schedules rest of season.
If you look at the fantay Spros Strength of Schedule tool,

(09:41):
Falcons for wide receivers have a top six rest of
season schedule. Donald Mooney's been banged up a little bit,
He's coming off the Bible. He should be okay. But
I just want to continue to buy into this Drake
London Michael Pennock's connection, I think is going to grow
outside of their bye week. And I think it's noteworthy
that the Falcons after Week three, when they got destroyed
by the Carolina Panthers, they fired their wide receiver coach.

(10:04):
They hired somebody else, and so far, so good when
it comes to that coaching transaction to get Drake London
the ball a little bit more so through four games,
Drake London is wide receiver eight and expect the fantasy
points per game. He's also PFF's tenth highest graded wide receiver,
so he's been efficient, He's seeing more targets, and I'm
optimistic about this Falcons passing game, kind of taking stride
with Pennix after the bye week. So buying Drake London

(10:26):
off the bye week, he's not top of mind, and
he's already got his buye week in the bank, so
he's a good bye for me.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
He is, i mean, obviously highly ranked, and he's coming
off of a game two weeks ago, so he's not
gonna be cheat. This is this is like I don't
know if by high is the correct term coming off
of a bye week, but it's not a buy low, right,
So do you like how high would you go? Who
are some of the names that you would like? Say, like,

(10:55):
I know this guy is really good and I'm still
willing to give him up. I'm gonna look at like
our flex rankings your he's most like Devon A Chan
is near him amongst the flex rankings. James Cook is
a few spots lower. It's mostly receivers around his area.
Ceedee Lamb, you know justin Jefferson obviously Jefferson has his

(11:15):
own by week this week Lamb dealing with the injury.
Garrett Wilson is on there. But those are the types
of names that are around Drake London and the rest
of the season rankings.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
Could you Chase plus Drake Wondon?

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Yeah, I mean I was going to uh loop this
in that you know, Jamar Chase is your first wide
receiver to sell, so we can kind of do that now,
Like I assume you would give Chase to get London.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
Yes, yes, I would definitely give Chase to.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
I mean, I know you kind of laugh, Like Chase
is coming off of a great game, of course, and
I think there's a path to similar I mean, he's
not going to be wide receiver two every week like
without Joe Burrow, but there I think there will be
spike weeks even with Jake Browning. They're just going to
be fewer and further further between. Like, I don't think
this is the last time he has one hundred yards

(12:04):
in a touchdown in a game just because he's Jamar Chase.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
But this would you be so would you be shocked
if this is the best game he has all year?

Speaker 1 (12:14):
No, it would not shock exactly.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
So that's part of the reason.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
Well, actually, let me rephrase, he faces the Ravens to
us even with Jakes Browning, he's going to do better
than that in those games. Besides, and by the way,
that that's week thirteen a week fifteen, so like will
help you get into the playoffs, and in the Fantasy
playoffs with Jamar Chase, there's obviously just two games. There's
other harder games than there.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
I think that Jamar Chase, And this was a question
I got a lot this week, was do I sell
Jamar Chase? Do I sell Jamar Chase? And I said, no,
you can't sell him this week. You sell him. If
you're going to sell him, you sell him after he
faces the Lions. And that ended up working out right,
even though the the stats are a little bit garbage
time because the Bengals were down twenty eight to three

(12:56):
and the Lions kept losing key starters on d and
every time somebody went down and was like, oh, another
touchdown to Jamar Chase. So I think that the final
box score is the middle a little bit misleading. Again,
still counts counts all the same. Jamar Chase is a
monster if they get him the football. But I think
that this is your window if you want to try

(13:16):
to cash out on Jamar Chase and not deal with
the Jake Browning nonsense. Or I've heard rumors that they're
going to try to trade for Kirk Cousins or James Winston.
Winston would obviously be a ton of fun, but whoever
is the quarterback for the Bengals. This offensive line is
just terrible. That's one of the biggest thing, and especially
when they go on at the Packers this week. I
get the Packers secondary got roasted by Dak Prescott the
last time we saw them, but this Packers pass rush

(13:39):
is going to just make Jake Browning's life absolutely just
gonna be terrible for him, especially on the road with
Green Bay coming off a bye week, so that's bad news.
I think that Chase, when he's playing at home, probably
better games Week seventh or nine. He's gonna be at
home for a three game homestead, and then, like you mentioned,
the postseason, you have the Ravens at home, you have

(14:01):
the Dolphins, the some juicy matchups, so I think there
are going to be opportunities. Like you mentioned that Chase
is going to have some good games here and there,
but if you're trying to get wins right now, and
chances are if you have Jamar Chase and you draft
a number one overall, you probably need wins right now.
Like your team is probably not doing super great, you
probably got to move him right now. And that's not
to say that I think at a six and oh
team could use Jamar Chase just hey, I got him,

(14:23):
just in case I need him. Maybe Burrow does come back.
I think that's an interesting approach to it. I don't
think this is just like always Obviously a seller's obviously
a buy a by low type of player, especially coming
off a big game. But I think that in a vacuum,
I would rather be on the selling side of Jamorrow Chase.
Just we've seen the sample side with Jake Browning now
through a lot of different games, and I mean, yes,

(14:44):
Jamarc's is going to have spike weeks here and there,
but for the most part, it's been underwhelming and it's
definitely not as good as it is when Joe Burrow
is the quarterback. So if you were going to look
trying to sell him again, we tried to talk about
this last week, like give it one more week, he's
gonna have a good game against the lines. The good
game came, and now he's your opportunity TV see what
you can get in return. I think it's just worth
it to put him on the trade block to see
if you can get any nibbles.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
He's ranked really close to London in the rest of
the season rankings. So all those names I read before
when I'm talking about buying London, would you sell Chase
for all of those names?

Speaker 2 (15:16):
Read the names again. I mean it's probably it was.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
Guys like Devon A Chan, C D Lamb, Justin Jefferson,
Garrett Wilson, James Cook, Drake London obviously, Jackson Smith and Jigboa.
I think that's an easy one. Yeah, yeah, Saquon, who's
nothing great?

Speaker 2 (15:33):
Not Saquon now because or I think no, I would
treat Chase for Saquon because he's playing the Giants twice
over the next three weeks. If he's ever gonna have
any good games, it's gonna I was. I was listing
Saquon as like, Oh, this guy is like a sell
His efficiency has been terrible this series, like a bottom
five PFF graded rusher, And then I look up, Oh,
he's playing the Giants. This week and he's playing the
Giants in two weeks.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
He is he he was estimated as it did not
they're playing on Thursday, so it was just an estimate.
But he was listed as a non participant in the
estimated Actice report on Monday of this week. For what
it's work, make sure you add will Shipley just think yeah,
so yeah. Drake London though, while we're selling Jamar Chase,
Drake London seems like a strong buy. You can use
the trade analyzer at fantasypros dot com, slash my Playbook,

(16:15):
or in the Fantasy Pros app to instantly evaluate how
any trade will affect your team for this week, the
rest of the season, or even in Dynasty. So we
already got to Jamar Chase here ericson give me your
second wide receiver to sell.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
I mentioned him, I think a couple of weeks ago.
I think after week three on the Trade Show with
the receivers and it's Keenan Allen wide received for the
Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers continue to lose offensive linemen
to injuries. I think that has hurt the offense significantly
over the last two weeks. If you look at those
have been Keenan Allen's worst games because he hasn't scored
any touchdowns. So now that's not to say that Keenan
Allen isn't involved in the red zone anymore. Like he

(16:48):
still had two red zone targets last week. He just
didn't score a lot of McConkie's the guy that end
up scoring the touchdown. But when I'm looking at players
that fall off after hot starts, usually they're older wide
receivers and it's because there's up and accounting guys behind them.
Quinn Johnson is fully here, like he's here to stay.
I don't envision his role changing much in lab of Conky.
We know has been disappointed to start the year. He

(17:10):
did catch touchdown this past week, and I think that
eventually he starts to get going just a little bit.
Maybe it comes at the expense of a Keenan Allen
type of injury, but that's been the case with Keenowan.
He's thirty three years old and he's never played. He
hasn't played a full season over the last three years,
so Keenan Allen has missed games. The offensive line is
a concern for me, and I still think that Alan

(17:32):
what he's done to start the year, seeing a ton
of targets, catching a lot of touchdowns to open the year.
I think that you can still get a lot for him.
And to talk about a guy that I rather have,
who is also another older receiver, but has had two
really good games the last two weeks for Allen, production
has fallen off just a little bit on Stefan Diggs,
so rest I'd rather have Digs than Keenan Allen. I
don't know if that's something that.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
I agree with that, but if I agree, I'd rather
have Digs than Allen.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
Yeah, that's a trade that I think you can probably
do too, because Keenan Allen still the last two weeks,
Yes it's been down, but it's mostly because he hasn't
scored any touchdowns. He still had nine targets last week
fifty eight yards, which we're both leaving the team. But
if I'm making a bet on one of these Chargers
receivers kind of falling off and maybe Lad McConkie kind
of getting back up to speed, I would probably bet
against Keenan Allen. She has an older receiver versus someone

(18:20):
like Quinn Johnson who's breaking out and Ladd who was
so good as a rookie. Obviously hasn't been that case
this year, but Keenan Allen to me would be a So.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
I agree with you on on the digs. Part of that,
I want to save my thoughts on Alan because I
have him included in one of our Biseller holds later
that I'm excited to see what you say. But I
did want to ask just because you mentioned like the
offensive line injury stuff, like are you knocking Justin Herbert
down your rest of the season rankings at all? He's
not in our quarterback segment, so we're not going to

(18:50):
talk about him, you know. Besides that, but like just
seeing the offensive line. I love Herbert looks like a
different player this year, Like he looks like an MVP.
But pointed the offensive line is bad enough, it just
doesn't matter. What are you doing with Herbert rest of season?

Speaker 2 (19:05):
Yeah, it sucks because he after we want to think
that we talked about you gotta buy Justin Herbert. This
is awesome and we're so excited for him, and then
the offensive line just crumbles. It just went to these
cluster injuries really hurt teams.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
Yeah, he was QB five in rest of season rankings.
A week ago. He's now QB ten, so his ranking
has created by the way.

Speaker 2 (19:25):
Yeah, and I don't disagree with him moving down the
ranks just because it's just hard to overcome all of
these injuries. Now you don't have a run game anymore.
Hampton's out for the next couple of weeks. He placed
on injury preserve. There's a reason why the Chargers went
out and got Najee Harris and Omar and Hampton because
they were because they didn't like Hassan Hoskins and Kamani By.
Now those are the two starting running backs that are

(19:45):
left on their roster. So if they become one more one,
they become more one dimensional. Maybe that means oh more
passing attemps for Justin Herbert, leg just a Herbert Cook maybe,
or just means too many dropbacks, more mistakes behind a
bad offensive line. Yeah, that is concerning for me. And
I think that right now, if you made me pick
between Justin Herbert and some Drake may think I might

(20:07):
go with Drake May.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
I think it's may easy honestly at this point. Yeah,
I mean to me, I'd be more like Herbert or
like Dak Herbert or Caleb those are the names that
he's around, Like, I think Drake may is kind of
elevated above them in terms of fantasy at least. Yeah,
those would be the names of Baker Mayfield maybe like that. Yeah,
that's kind of the range Herbert's playing in right now.

(20:30):
And it might be the worst option of those just
because of the O line. Let's go to the quarterback
segment with kind of loop quarterbacks of tight ends together here.
So give me one buy at either position.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
Yeah, so it's going to be Drake May for me.
He's gonna be the buye for me. Just talked about
him a little bit over justin Herbert, and I think
that it's kind of funny that after this big win
against the Buffalo Bills, you're thinking, man, Drake May three
touchdowns there in the passing yard. Just this he's actually
been his boxer. Actually wasn't good. Like he actually did
not have any touchdowns because reminderous teams and of course

(21:01):
has to score the two rushing touchdowns after fumbling the ball.
I want to buy low on Drake May because the
on field he's checking off the I test of the
next superstar quarterback. That's the guy I want to buy
and if there are managers that are just looking at
the box score and he underwhelmed, then Drake Max. She
hurt me in a couple spots where I need a
big game from him, actually end up losing my matchup

(21:22):
because he didn't score enough points. It's okay, Drake May,
We'll get him next time. We're going to get him
next week, and I think that he is the quarterback
that you want to buy, especially with the Patriots schedule
rest of season one of the easiest schedules that you
have across the NFL.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
So by Drake May, I don't think I have the
cajones to do this, but I could be convinced. I
would rank Drake May higher than Lamar Jackson the rest
of season. Obviously, like strictly talking in your redraft league,
I would rather have Drake May as my fantasy quarterback
than Lamar Jackson for the rest of twenty twenty five. Again,
hamstring injuries are no joke. I don't know what they were,

(21:59):
and I felt Lamar so it's kind of slow even
before he got hurt. Honestly, I was talking texting about
it with a lot of my Ravens fan friends, like
does Lamar look slower to you. I mean, I'm very
worried about what Lamar will look like for fantasy if
and when he does. I mean, he will come back,
but like how ready he'll be when he comes back,
and how much he's gonna run, especially if it ends
up being a lost season for the franchise, Like I

(22:21):
would just rather have Drake. Honestly, I think I'd rather
have Drake Man than Jade Daniels in fantasy rest of
the season too. I mean, Jane Daniels has three games
this season right because he missed a couple. He has
not finished as a QB one this year. He's QB thirteen,
QB sixteen, QB seventeen Drake May And he said, you know,
two more chances to finish higher. But he's been a

(22:42):
top eight quarterback three times, so I like, I just
think the ceilings higher for May. I think the floor
might be higher for him then for Lamar and Daniels
strictly because of you know, knee brace and hamstring injury
and just that stuff can lower the floor. Like Josh
Allen and Jalen Hurts are the only two quarterbacks I
would rather have for the rest of twenty twenty five
in fantasy. The Drake May he would be my QB

(23:03):
three rest of season, genuinely, and.

Speaker 2 (23:05):
I think too if you are looking to make that
type of move, So getting off Lamar, getting off Jaden Daniels,
you probably don't have to even do it straight up.
You can probably do those quarterbacks with Drake May plus
something actually useful where I think that's a trade that
actually gets done. So not only are you getting the
in your opinion of the quarterback you like, more if
you don't agree with that, you could at least get

(23:26):
something else thrown into the deal, like some of the
other guys we've talked about as potential buys. And I
think that's a really short move to me. I know
I got Daniels in a league that he was my keeper,
So it was one of the those where I didn't
drat Drake May because I already had Jade Daniels. But
this week I'm going to be knocking out of the
door of the Drake May Man. You'd be like, hey, like,
let's make a dal off of you Daniel to give
you Drake May plus and we'll see what we'll see.

Speaker 1 (23:45):
To be clear, I'm not saying trade Lamar Jackson, Jayde
and Daniels just to get rid of him no matter what.
But I just think genuinely Drake May's ceiling is higher
for this season given the injury stuff. And I also
was expecting regression from Jade Daniels anyway to a degree.
I like, you know, I don't know how much the
knee race stuff is gonna affect inim this season. Lamar

(24:06):
is the one who injury wise, I'm it's more injury
related than I'm concerned.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
I'll say with with Daniels, I think that not having
Terry has probably hurt him a little bit too. Sure
Terry has one percent, and I mean, I don't know
when that's going to happen, and I just have this
bad feeling too, like when Terry McLaurin gets back to
one hundred percent, like we're gonna see Debo miss games,
so he's never gonna actually have like both guys on
the field at the same time, because like that's basically
Debo Samiels.

Speaker 1 (24:30):
But I want to be clear, like what I'm saying
is about loving Drake May. It's not about hating Jane Daniels.
I want to make exact.

Speaker 2 (24:37):
Clear that's that's the there we go the editors, that's
the that's the show.

Speaker 1 (24:40):
Yeah where j Yeah, all right, give me your cell here,
quarterback or tight end.

Speaker 2 (24:48):
Darren Waller, that's the guy I'm going to be selling
here because I've been down this road before with Darren Waller,
where when he's healthy, catch a touchdowns, everything's great, everything's fine.
I just don't think this will necessarily last all the year.
He missed almost all of the off season after coming
back out of retirement. I know he's looked god the

(25:09):
last couple weeks. He's got a lot of touchdowns. I
believe he has three touchdowns over the last two games.
And I think that if you picked him up and
you are a tight end needy, I think that he's
just worth holding on too. If you had an injury
at tight end, you had Brock Bowers. But in a situation,
I think a lot of people are in especially if
they follow the show throughout the off season. Well, you
picked up Darren Waller this week because you had Tucker

(25:29):
Craft on a bye week. What I want to do
now is flip Darren Waller because I know that he
has a potential a knack of getting banged up, especially
an older tight end like Darren Waller. I want to
flip him to the brock Bauers manager. That's what I
want to do, because he might be an extra piece
I have. I think you could get a decent return
for him because he's delivered so highly over the last

(25:52):
two weeks. But like I said, I've been down this
road before. It's never been about ability with Darren Waller.
It's about availability with Darren Waller, and I know he's
been okay the last two weeks. I would not bet
on him being around the Miami Dolphins a month from now.
I just that has not ever been the case with
Darren Waller, So I would take advantage. I would sell high,
especially if you have someone else on your roster, like

(26:13):
a Tucker Kraft. I know that's the situation I'm in
a lot of leagues where I have Tucker Craft on
a bye. We got picked up, Darren Waller started him
this past week, and I'm going to be going to
the brock Bauers manager. Brock Bowers. He's going to miss
a decent amount of time week to week according to
Pete Carroll. So that's the move I would make on
trying to sell high on Darren Waller.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
I'm going to mix up the order of our buyseller holds.
We usually end the tight end. I'm going to do
the tight end first and ask you if you I
want you to compare Darren Waller to these three. So
the buy seller hold which I want you to make
the picks with this trio, and then I'll kind of
oopen Waller, David and Joku, Travis kelcey TJ. Hockinson, and
buyseller hold in Djoku, Kelsey or Hockinson.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
So I want to sell Travis Kelce because Russia Rice
is going to be coming back and I think that's
going to hurt his production substantially. He's had opportunities to
really be the number one pass catcher for the Chiefs
with all the injuries they've had, and I think that
he's kind of just been underwhelming for the most part. Yes,
he's caught a couple of touchdowns here and there, but
I think that he's way past his prime. So I

(27:14):
would be trying to sell high after he scored on
Monday Night Football. Do you have any joke I think
has to be a I guess he would probably be
the buye for me, just because I just don't have
a lot of faith in Hockinson either. With you have
a new quarterback coming back. He did nothing with JJ McCarthy,
So I'm not optimistic about Hawkinson necessarily, but I guess

(27:34):
he would probably be the hold because you know, maybe
things change after their bye week, they get Hawkinson more
involved and Joku. I was pleased to see what he
did with Dylan Gabriel as the quarterback. I don't think
that's nothing that he has his best game when they
have a new quarterback under center. And something that I

(27:54):
always remember with in Joko is he's very, very streaky
with certain players. He'll go on streaks where he's just
like toasting guys being really really productive for five or
six weeks, and I feel like it's always accompanied by
a quarterback change where Ojoe Flacco steps in and Davin
Joku is the tight end one for four weeks, or
Jameis Winston steps in and then you see in Djoku
be a really productive tight end. So maybe Dylan Gabriel

(28:16):
is kind of the thing that unlocks and Joku. I
think that he's the most talented guy out of these
three tight ends that we talked about, and if he
ends up getting dealt. Maybe that's another reason why you'd
want and joke on your team if they decide to
go forward with Harold Fannon as their tight end. One.
I think in Djoku has probably the most upside of
these three from a talent perspective, and I just like
what I saw from him with Dylan Gabriel as the

(28:37):
Brown starting quarterback.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
Where would Waller fit into this group of three for you?

Speaker 2 (28:44):
I think he'd probably be I think probably last. I'm
just not optimistic that he's going to be around the
whole season. That's my main concern that he's going to
fizzle out. And again not even because he is not
productive when he's playing. He's a really older tight end
and he's always banged up. So that's my concern for Wallard.

Speaker 1 (29:06):
Let's do the wide receiver trios here. First one a
Mecca Agbuka, DeVante Adams, AJ Brown. So these guys are
all ranked inside the top fifteen. I think it is
in the wide receiver rest is he sees the rankings.
Let me double check that, make sure I have it right. Yeah.
AJ Brown's fourteen, Devanta Adams is twelve, Abuka is ten.
But again, this is not a ranking this is buy,
sell or hold. So again, Abuka, Davante and Brown, what

(29:30):
are you doing a Mecca?

Speaker 2 (29:33):
Agbuca is got to be one of the most confusing
receivers to try to evaluate. I think you just have
to hold him because I get the arguments for selling
or buying Egbuka where you're selling him because well, Begams
is going to come back and he's not gonna be
able to sustain what he's been doing. I get that argument.
But I might just be so good that it doesn't matter,

(29:57):
which is why I can't justify trading him away, even
though I get the process behind the play. If that
makes sense worm, I so that. So that's the reason
I don't feel like I want to get rid of him.
So he would probably be the guy I would hold.

Speaker 1 (30:13):
Let me give you a note on Agbuka. Ryan Heath
from Fantasy Points tweeted this out earlier today, basically just
showing some of his metrics through five games compared to
some of the other like great, you know full rookie
seasons that we've seen. He leads all rookies in receiving
yards per game, and he's behind only Puka and yards
per route run. He has a higher target share than

(30:34):
Jamar Chase, similar overall volume, and a better first down
rate and Fantasy points per route run rate than Jamar Chase,
Aminad Saint Brown of Jalen Wadads. Those are just some
of the points that he highlighted. There's a whole chart.
You can look at all of them on his x
account Twitter account. But the point is that like it
is holding up with like. The names on this list
are like Pooka Chase, neighbors, you know, Lad McConkey, Like,

(30:57):
those are the names that some of the great rookie
seasons we've had in recent years that Agbuka is basically
like living up to.

Speaker 2 (31:05):
Yeah, those are the reason why I'm afraid to quote
unquote sell high on him, because he might just be
that good and it doesn't matter. And let's not pretend
like Gobwin Mike Evans. Yes, those guys are great players,
but they are a little bit older that get banged up.
Mike Gobbin's coming off an injury. Mike Evans has already
had his hamstring injury. So I also have a feeling
in the back of my mind that when Mike Evans
comes back, Chris Godwine gets reinjured and we never actually

(31:27):
end up seeing all three guys play at the same time,
so it actually doesn't matter. So just keep the guy
that's a rookie who's producing at a like an all
pro level. I think that's just like what I want
to do, So I'm going to keep Egbuka aj Brown.
I guess is technically the if you're going by like process,
he's the by low because you just always buy low
on the receiver after they face the Denver Broncos because
they always put up bad stat lines in those situations

(31:50):
and then they always do really well the next week.
I'll lad Jamar Chase last week. So from a process play,
maybe it's not a buy as in go tread for
AJ Brown because he can be a headache, but by
loo on his player props, taking the overs on things
like that, maybe that's like the buy in this situation.
And then DeVante Adams would probably be the cell high.

(32:10):
I think that after five weeks we've probably all forgotten
about Matthew stafford potential back injury. I think that's still
like possibility, like there's still a chance that that happens.
But now that we've seen five weeks of Rams football
and Matthew Stafford stay healthy. I don't think anyone is
nearly as concerned about that, and maybe we were over
blowing it. Maybe it never really was a concern, But

(32:31):
I feel very confident in saying that if Stafford were
to go down, Adams would be an impact of the most.
I think Pooka would be fine because he's got so
many schemed up touches. But Adams goes head to head
every single week against the defense as number one cornerback.
He's not getting as many favorable looks as Pooka Nakoua is.
So if one guy were to kind of fall out
a favor here, it would probably be Adams, and I

(32:51):
probably think that he could Probably you can probably get
the most. Well, you'll probably get maybe a little bit
more for a Muca, but I think you can get
a solid return for Devanta Adams, who is still the
number true receiver on his team.

Speaker 1 (33:02):
Buy sell or hold, Lad McConkey, Keenan, Allen, Quentin Johnston.

Speaker 2 (33:09):
The Chargers Trio, the Holy Trifecta.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
Remember this is not a ranking, it's buyseller hold. Who
are you buying? Who are you selling? Who are you holding?
You've already said, Keenan Allen's your cell I assume you're
gonna stick with that.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
Yes, I'm going to stick with selling Keenan Allen. Am
I ready to buy? Quentin Johnston is the main question here.
I I remember looking at the week five ECR rankings
seeing Quentin Johnson ahead of Jamar Chase, and I don't
know something to not settle with me When I saw

(33:41):
that type of ranking. Luckily chased it out Scorkin Johnson
last week, so all was right in the world. But
will that happen two weeks in a row. I'm not
so confident. So, man, this one is tough because I
think Lad really needs an injury to Allen to kind
of get back to his level. We saw it Ladd
be really productive with Johnston last year. Now, Johnson wasn't

(34:04):
playing nearly as well last year as it was this year,
but he still was playing better than his rookie year.
So we've seen Lad thrive at least when it's only
been Johnston. So I think right now, if all three
guys are out there, I think Johnson's probably the guy
you want to buy. So if you could flip Lad
for Johnston, I think that's probably the move I would make.
I just don't think his production is going to fall
off regardless of the other Chargers receivers, and then Ladd

(34:26):
would be the hold for me. I think he has
a lot of upside, but it depends on whether one
of these guys gets hurt. Otherwise he's a wide receiver. Three.
I mean last week was supposed to be a LAD week
and he scored a touchdown in the day that was
basically like it's one of those like Lad McCaughey scores
NUESH and you're like, yes, right, he had a breakout game,
not really.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
Like you should have had the punt return touchdown too.

Speaker 2 (34:50):
Yes, I know, of course that was just like assault
in the wound. Yeah, so you this guy got a break.

Speaker 1 (34:55):
I'm still buying. I'm buying Lad holding.

Speaker 2 (34:57):
Johnston trying to not be a prisoner. I don't know,
because I I guess I was not big on Quin Johnson,
so I'm trying to not be I'm trying to accept
that he is not as bad as I thought that
he once was, and he is a good receiver.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
But but I think you, like I think you're buying
Lad on the cheap, whereas like buying Quentin Johnson. I
know he's not coming off of his best game, Like
there are the Quentin Johnson manager is probably like really
excited that they got him late and he's been awesome
and they're gonna want a lot for him. So again,
it's not a ranking necessarily, but like I'd rather have Lad.

(35:34):
And also, like you said, he needs an injury like Keenan.
Allen is older, Like we're not hoping he gets hurt, obviously,
but like that's very much on the table that that
could happen too. So yeah, I'm I'm buying Lad and
holding Johnson and selling Alan.

Speaker 2 (35:47):
You may have convinced me, I'm again. I I just
was so long on Quinn Johns. I mean I was
popping out Kendre Lambert Smith to be to be a
guy in this offense, Like I had no I had
no hope for Johnson doing anything that obviously.

Speaker 1 (36:01):
I mean I didn't not either. So I can't hold
him because I don't have him anywhere. All right, last
one quarterback trio will go quickly here because we've gone
pretty long. Sam Darnald, C. J. Stroud, Jackson, Dart again,
Donald Stroud and Dart buy, sell and hold.

Speaker 2 (36:15):
I think you need to sell C. J. Stroud. This
may be his best game, So you think.

Speaker 1 (36:20):
That was a Ravens defense, not a Texans figuring it out.
Do you just want to sell the quarterback who's coming
off facing the Ravens every week?

Speaker 2 (36:29):
You probably do. That's probably the right process to make.
I looked at the raven or not the Ravens schedule,
the Texans schedule. They have the most difficult schedule rest
of season for quarterbacks for fantasy purposes. So if you
can give in someone that Stroud is back and they're
all back and everything's fixed, I think that's probably the
move to make. He's on a bye week, so it's
a tough move to make, but maybe in super flex

(36:50):
formats you can kind of maybe put Stroud together in
a package and probably move him. That's the move that
I would make. I think I would want to buy
Jackson Dart. I think just because he's a mobile quarterback,
like that's what I want to but invest into his
quarterbacks that run, especially someone like a rookie. It sucks
that it is on the league neighbors, which I think

(37:11):
is the reason why I don't think this is a
slam dunk of a buy, but I want to chase
the guys that run, so Jackson Dart kind of chacks
off the box there, and Sam Donald would be the
whole for me. I think he's just been really steady.
Him and Jasenter click on all cylinders. The offensive line
free Sattle has played a lot better, and he showed
against Tampa Bay that, hey, good matchups, he can deliver

(37:31):
strong performances. So I would hold on to Sam Donald,
who was again probably still available on like waiver wires.
So if he has good matchups, he's definitely a streamable
quarterback that you can use. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
I thought that was an interesting one because I felt
like Straut and Donald were both like reasonable cases to sell.
But I didn't know if you would want to buy
Dart just given like the link neighbors stuff. You know,
he limitated and practice support this week, Like it feels
like a weird buye, but the mobility is probably enough
to make him.

Speaker 2 (37:59):
Know, we see guys that have bad matchup all the time.
It just takes one forty yard rushing touchdown and then
they just save it. Maybe they say everything. It's like,
you can give me all the analysis you want about
fading justin fields one week and then he just rips
off one one touchdown and then none of it matters anymore.

Speaker 1 (38:13):
So all right, I'll go ahead and wrap things up there.
