and a half here, multiple reasons. Looking at the end,
Josh Hart and Mitchell Robinson are both out for this game.
Those are two of the better defenders for the New
York Knicks, especially Josh Hart out on the perimeter. With
the Knicks team, who I believe what I've seen in
preseasons that they're still gonna struggle guarding out on the perimeter.

Right here. They hear Mike Brown in his news press
conferences and all that he talks about preaching transition defense
and getting out in transition. The team wants to play fast,
so I think the pace is going to be picked
up in this game. But I just don't think this
is the personnel, nor is it late enough in the
season where Mike Brown's really got this team gonna have
(04:35):
them all the way locked in. On the defensive side
of ball here, I think there's gonna be some lapses.
I don't think transition defense is one hundred percent going
to be there. This Cabs team is fine running with pace,
just like how the Mike Brown wants to play with pace.
I think that out of the half court, the Cabs
are gonna be able to pick on Brunston and Cat
defensively and score the basketball one fourteen and a half.

They got over this in two of the four last season.
I think think that this Cavs team offensively still should
be a problem, and I think they're still going to
have their moments that could be a big down of
a Mitchell game in here as well. I just don't
think defensively that this is exactly where the Knicks want
to be to start the season, and I will try.
I will bet on the Calves to exploit that. So

team total over one fourteen and a half here, Calves
very very good to this team total. Last season they
went over this seventy one of the time. All right, now,

some of the lines exactly where they should be setting
them at. Let's start with Joel Embiid here. I'm gonna

half points in this game. I mean, I'm sorry, twenty
four and a half points. That is, to score twenty

five points. It is jumping up to twenty five and
a half here, but I got it here at twenty
four and a half. I like him go over this line.
Joe Embiid flies over this line all the time when
it's just health. It's always been a matter of health
with Joe Embiid. Is Joel and b Professor Glass healthy
to play? Okay? Check yes? If check yes, take the
prop now. Second part, is he going to finish the game?

If he finishes the game, okay, cool? Check that more
than likely he swors over this prop. Joel Embiid is
a very very good big and if you've been following
me from the NBA Gamblin podcast, I've talked about it
in years years years years years for a long time,
since I've been doing it all the way back since
twenty twenty. Is that, hey, I believe you start your

centers against the Celtics. The Celtics and the interior post
have not been the best defending team. That is the
one area where you could say, hey man, this is
a place where if you are a good super emphasis
on good, good, great, legendary, all that above, if you
are one of those type of post centers, you have

good days against the Celtics. You can get them rebounding basketball,
you can have them scoring the basketball. I think that
this is a very good opportunity where Joel Embiid is
going to be able to constantly get to his spot
when he's battling Nemus or Sam Houser or whoever. Honestly

the big is for the Celtics right now, I think
that Joe e Biid is going to be He's got
the size to shoot over them, like he's got the strength.
I think he's going to constantly get to his spot
and be able to just knock down his shots. So
I like Joel e Biid. He's been over this in
six of his last eight games against the Celtics, so
I like him to go over twenty four and a

half points here, and for the second play, it's going
to be Jalen Brown to go over twenty four and
a half points as well, because as everybody knows, no
Jason Tata, no Tatum in this go round, however, So
it's gonna be the Jalen Brown show. And when Jalen
Brown plays without Jason Tatum, he feels a little bit

more free. He understands the pressure that's on him this
season to kind of carry this team and not let
this be a dead season. And I really think that
Jalen Brown is going for a scoring title. And when
I look at it, Paul George is out for this game.
Who's guarding Jalen Brown? Like, who's seriously Like, when you
think about the who's guarding Jalen Brown, who's gonna stop

Jayleen Brown from getting to his spot, getting his shot,
getting to the rim, the shooting on the outside from three? Like,
I think that this is a Jaylen Brown carries game.
So I like the stars in this Sixers in Celtics game.
Jalen Brown's been over fifty percent shooting in three of
the last four games against the seventy six Ers team,
he feels comfortable hitting a shot. Now, the volume is
(10:06):
gonna go up with Notatum, and I expect for him
to be able to have a really big game here.
I think twenty five and a half here is conservative,
and honestly, I think Jalen Brown is gonna be closer
to thirty points per game for majority of the season.
So those are the plays that I have for you too.
