NBA basketball here, p tencha leap. We don't know, we'll see,
could be a sweep by the Aces four to oh
and the first ever best seven w n B A
Finals or the Phoenis Mercury kind of survive another game.
I have some thoughts. You might be disappeared at pointing

(01:03):
to hear the thoughts, But I have some thoughts, and
we'll talk about them in a second. But first I
have to talk to you about hard rock bet. This

have a chance at one hundred and fifty dollars in
bonus bets as long as your five dollar bet hits.
That's it. That's all I gotta do. Hit a five
dollar bet and you'll have a chance at one hundred
and fifty dollars in bets. Also Game four tonight and
NBA is on the horizon. They have NBA futures that

(01:47):
you can lock into college football games. We're going through
a stretch where it's going to be a football game
college or NFL on for like the next forty days.
So go log in, tap in, and go get down
on all the action with hard rock.

one hundred gambler in Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, in New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
All right, so here we go, Game four of the
WNBA Finals. The aces are laying two on the road.
Let me see if that line moved on mean last time,
my shit, it was two. So my thoughts here are one.
I'm tired of losing money in these finals. And granted,

(02:49):
I have the Aces to win the championship, so like
everything i'm losing, I'm gonna get back when the Aces
win a chick, if the Aces win the championship. But
it's very frustrating that I keep finding myself on the
wrong side of these things. So if you need a fade,
this is probably the fade. I don't know why these

(03:09):
finals are the one that's tripping me up game by game,
but I just can't get it. I can't get it right,
and so you know I'm gonna be honest with it,
and you all know you see it. You see it,
and so I have scaled back. I only have one
bet that I'm placing in this game for you right now,
other than the two that I gave you yesterday. I

(03:29):
only have one more bet to add because I'm not
putting a whole bunch of more stock into this series
and I just can't seem to get my angles right.
And so of course the first big thing is that
I am on the sleep. I teased it last time.
I'm on the sweep I think the Aces are going
to end things. I just don't understand what other moves

(03:49):
that Natibbots has that he's going to be able to
pull here, because you have not satu sobly because of
the concussion. Then you add that he's been out coached
by Becking Hammond almost every single step along the way here.
Even in a seventeen point comeback in the fourth quarter,
he still got out coached by Beckingham in the end
to win the game. And so I think this is
going to be one of those series where Natips is

(04:12):
going to look back and realize, you know, there's a
couple of times that he probably could have ended some runnings.
It's a couple of times that he probably could have
called a time out and gotten a really good shot
for his team and felt better about how this ended.
But no way anybody's feeling good about them being down
three games to none now, and now they're down Satsu Sabli,
who was effectively one of their best players not only

(04:33):
all year, but especially during this series. And so with
all of that being said, I don't think the Phoenix
Mercury are gonna quit. I really don't what I saw
in that comeback in game three is that back against
the wall. You're down. You have no other reason to fight.
You're at home, and you gave it all you had

(04:54):
and you're down by seventeen points in the fourth quarter.
You had no other reason to fight. And then Satu
Sabli down, who's been effectively giving your team a spark
the entire time. You had no other reason to fight.
But Kleia Copper comes in the game and has eleven
straight points. The Mercury continue this run, they tie the
game up, they have a chance to win the game,
and it just it just doesn't fall for them. And

(05:17):
so with that, I said, Okay, how do I bet
the Murky? Because I can't take the Mercury outright, or
I can't take the Mercury on the spirit, So how
do I bet the Mercury. I'm gonna take At give
me at over thirty four and a half points, rebounds
and assists. She got over this in the last game
at home.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Here.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
I think she's gonna do it here because if anyt
is gonna do anything, she is going to make sure
whoa a little bit of a technical difficulty, there's there,
we go get my light back on. But yes, if
At is gonna do anything here is going to be
the fact of hey, I'm going down swinging, no sau

(05:58):
sobly in this game. It opens up the pain in
the area a little bit more. I expect to see
her slash and get to the rim. I know she's
kicking herself because that last possession where she had a
step on Megan Gustason and did not take advantage and
was able to finish the shot get and give the
team the lead. I think she's kicking herself about that.

(06:18):
She's kicking herself about the two miss free throws in
game one as well. Like I think this is all
coming to a head, and if at is going down,
she's going down swinging. She had a great game. She
was able to be very physical and rebound in that
last games not here, so it's going to open up
some rebounds for her, especially if they elect to still
limit Natasha max minutes. You also have the shooting that

(06:42):
possibly could open up. We'll see what Natibbotts opens in
his bag of tricks here because he could go deeper
into the bench, add some more three point shooters out there,
more options for et to kick the ball to assist
opportunities there. We know how good she is to assist.
But I think this is possibly also the twenty point
game for At finally, the one where she just has twenty.
She's very efficient. She's getting to the room, and she's

(07:05):
hitting the free throws, and she's just doing everything she
can to try to extend this one more game. So
I think At has a big game. With that being said,
probably a good fade for you guys, because I'm not
being good in these finals game my game, I will
admit that. Other than that, let's just go ahead and
call it that because that's the only thing I have

(07:27):
for you today. At over thirty four and a half
pet r A. I'm sorry. I just can't keep putting
in stock in the finals and losing. It's just not
my night. Sometimes it's just not your night, and it
just feels like it's just not my night. But hopefully
this turns around, and if this turns around and it
actually does get to be a game five, I I

(07:47):
feel like I'll be very confident in what I'm doing
in game five. So we'll see, We'll see what happens.
I'm a really unerscore unscoming. She gave me a follow
up on x AT betting Pros on x say and
TikTok At Betting Pros NFL and Scrimming YouTube dot Com
slash Betting Pros. And with that that does it have
nothing else? Say nothing else? Do you know the way
of any of the podcasts just getting into like this
week our boy. H m hm

The Burden

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
