Speaker 1 (00:00):
First Date to follow up powered by the Advocates Injury
Attorneys online at advocatesla dot com. Bria is on the
phone today for a first day follow up and she's
getting ghosted by a guy named Jason. So in a
few minutes, we're gonna call him and see if he'll
tell us why he's ghosting her and maybe get her
another date. But first, Bria, how long is the vinceince
you heard from Jason?

Speaker 2 (00:21):
It's been at least god like a week, but he
hasn't responded to me. Okay, yeah, I reached out a
couple of days ago and yeah nothing.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
What did you say to him when you reached out?

Speaker 2 (00:36):
I just was like, hey, love your date. When I
go out again?

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Oh and then nothing?

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Yeah? So how is the date?

Speaker 3 (00:45):
I done?

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Went?

Speaker 4 (00:46):
Really well?

Speaker 5 (00:46):
You know, before the date, we talked for a while
on the apps, and I don't know, it's just kind
of like real conversations, really viby stuff, not just like
surface level.

Speaker 6 (01:00):
You know. We talked about how much I love cooking,
and he seemed just like he was into that, and
so then he came over for dinner so I could
make him dinner, and I know, I know it was
the first day.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
It was at my place, which was super scary and risky, but.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
He came over. Okay, both I like it.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Yeah, but I think I'm good at reading people, so
I think it's fine.

Speaker 6 (01:26):
You know, Okay, And so I made him a saffron
chicken herb rice and a cucumbri yogurt salad, and yeah,
he ate everything and poured a lot more wine, getting
like super romantic. And then we went to the couch
with the line and I don't know, I was trying

(01:50):
to figure out how to get to the next step,
you know. And I remember this guy friend I had
mentioned that if you want to tease a man, you
just blow.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
In the back of his neck. So I did.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Yeah, then you.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Jumped up and freaked out like I changed him.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Yeah, yeah, it might. It might shock me too. I
was just gonna say, jubile, is that a turn on?
If you just we were like I was eating and
you just randomly walked up behind me and kind of
blew on the back of my neck, and probably I
probably jumped.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Yeah, we weren't eating anymore, we but the wine did
get everywhere.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Were you guys like making out before you did it?
Or you just kind of just lean over and he
blew on his neck.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
I did kind of just lean over and blow about.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Okay, yeah, that was shocked.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
It's like you got to give people grace though, right
like right when you start to talk to somebody new,
you got to feel him out. So a little neck
blow hopefully wouldn't do it. But it is a little surprised.

Speaker 6 (02:48):
I said sorry, and I explained, like this is something
my friend told me to do, and he laughed it off,
but then immediately said he had to go.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Oh, like I don't know.

Speaker 6 (02:59):
I thought we had kimished, and he asked me a
lot of questions, which like people don't do, you know.
He asked me about my childhood and my favorite books,
and like I cannot remember the last time a man
asking a question.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Well that's good. On his way out, did you guys
kiss again to say goodbye? Or was he just like, oh, yeah,
I gotta go, and then he was just gone.

Speaker 6 (03:19):
He was just like I gotta go, and then he
was gone, and like it sucks. It sucks because I
don't just bring anyone to my space and I'll really
face with him, and like, I don't know, I know
that that was a weird choice. They didn't feel like
a deal breaker, you know. Yeah, there was one moment
out of the whole evening.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Right, Well, let's see if we can figure it out
for you. We'll play a song come back, and then
call him and see if he'll tell us why he's
ghosting you and maybe get you a second date. Okay, okay, great,
all right, we'll get your first day follow up next.
Right in the middle of your first day follow up
and if you're just joining us at Bria is on
the phone and she's getting ghosted by a dude named Jason.
So we're about to call him and see if he'll
tell us why he is ghosting her and maybe get

(03:58):
her a second date. But before we do that, why
don't you recap your date for us again? Real quick.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
We had a great time. He came to my place.

Speaker 6 (04:06):
I made him a nice dinner, and I just decided
to blow on his neck afterwards things going, and he did.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Not like that any Think maybe it was the neck
blowing that kind of creaked him out and that's why
he's ghosting you.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
Gotta be gotta be.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Well, are you ready to go cal him right now?

Speaker 6 (04:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Okay, here we go. Hello, Hi, man, speak to Jason. Please, Hey, Jason,

(04:53):
how are you? This is a radio show. It's called
the Jebil Show. Hi Jason, I'm Nina. Hi, I'm Victoria
and my name is Jubell. How are you?

Speaker 4 (05:00):
WHOA? Okay?

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Hi?

Speaker 1 (05:01):
How are you feeling good? Have you listened to the
show before?

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (05:07):
I think they know what this is about. Is it
about Bria?

Speaker 1 (05:12):
Yes? It is the first follow up. Yep, you went
out with Bria and you're Ghostinger. So she emailed us
to see if you will tell us why you're Ghostinger?
Do you mind talking about it?

Speaker 4 (05:24):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Wow?

Speaker 4 (05:26):
All right? Well what the dinner was incredible, like easily
top five meals I've ever had, there's no doubt. But
there was no dessert, she said.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
She tried to, you know, have a little like.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
So my grandma raised me and she always said real
woman sends her man off with something sweet. And that
night I kept waiting about maybe it was like chilling
in the fridge.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Or like you're talking about food. Oh yeah, you're not.
You actually mean dessert?

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Yeah, literally, like desert. And it's not just like you know, dessert,
it's like this principle of like completing the meal, you know,
like she nailed the Sibery, but there was no sweet.
It wasn't balanced, and I just kept like waiting for
the meal to end, and it like never did.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
Okay, that's why your ghostinger is because the food was good,
but it did not include a sweet treat at the end.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
Yeah, it was just weird. Like I was just like
I didn't want to ask, but I just kept waiting
and it was just like my palette was all confused,
and it was like, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
Dude, you have dessert every night? Is that something that
you do?

Speaker 4 (06:43):
I mean, not if I'm just like, you know, eating
on the go, but like for a meal, you know, okay,
part of like a real I don't know. It's like
it's not polite. It's not polite to like not serve
the dilrt you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Okay, all right, well, thank you for being honest with us.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
No, that's that's how I felt about it.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
And Jason Bria is on the phone listening and wants
to talk to you.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
Okay, you've got to be kidding me. You got to
be kidding me. Not polite, you know what you know?
Else it's not blighte ghosting someone.

Speaker 4 (07:17):
Oh my god, are you serious right now?

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Also, what is this nineteen fifty two?

Speaker 6 (07:22):
I'm so sorry that I didn't bring out a warm
pie to tuck you in, and like.

Speaker 4 (07:27):
It's not about You've got to be kidding about like thoughtfulness,
you know, like I don't know, I mean, it's not
nineteen fifty two, but my grandma who had to take
care of people.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Oh okay, oh oh good good.

Speaker 6 (07:40):
So it's done to me like you don't want a girlfriend,
you want a grandma with benefits.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Right, Oh that just sounds weird.

Speaker 5 (07:48):
I don't like that.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
Try to seduce me with a ghost breeze to the
jugular Like, that's not care, that's confusion. Ghost.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Okay, I was trying to be something sweet and you
should have like been an adult and said something. You
go to me over a cake.

Speaker 4 (08:06):
It's not the cake. It's just like my grandma's principles,
you know, Like that's like, yeah, it's the fact you
don't get the cake, you know.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
I'm so sorry.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
I'm not your grandma.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
I'm sorry I'm not your grandma.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
I am too, honestly, if you really thought you were cool,
but I'm not getting grandma vibes. It's just like, it's
too bad.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
You're looking for a grandma. You're looking for grandma characteristics
in your woman.

Speaker 4 (08:37):
I mean in a certain way.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
I guess.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
Yeah, you know you got to tick that box as well.

Speaker 6 (08:43):
You know this is ridiculous, And yeah, I'm sure you
can go to a nursing room bingo night to sign
the woman.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
Jason, would you like a second date with Bria? We'll
pay for it.

Speaker 4 (08:58):
I am in a past notice are like no direction?

Speaker 6 (09:04):
Great, you and your grandma can go bake cookies and
I asleep over together.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
How dare you?

Speaker 4 (09:11):
My grandma's a beautiful woman. Seriously, how dare you?

Speaker 1 (09:17):
She must be so proud.

Speaker 4 (09:20):
She's an amazing woman. She's beautiful and honestly, she bed
you didn't get a chance to meet her because you
could learned a lot from her. Bria Jules first

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
