Speaker 1 (00:00):
First day to follow up powered by the Advocates Injury
Attorneys online at Advocateslaw dot com. Danny is on the
phone today for a first date follow up, and he's
getting ghosted by a woman named Pria. So in a
few minutes we're gonna call her and see if she'll
tell us why she's ghosting him and maybe get him
a second date. But first, Danny, how long has it
been since you heard from Priya?
Speaker 2 (00:21):
Oh? I haven't heard from her for more about.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
A week now, Okay, So have you hit her up?
Speaker 2 (00:27):
I've tried to and I haven't heard anything back.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
Well, how did you end up leaving the date at
the end? Did you feel like you guys were going
to see each other again?
Speaker 3 (00:36):
I mean I thought so, Like we had a good
time when I left, she was laughing. I thought we
had chemistry. But something must have missed.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
Up, I guess.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
Okay, we'll tell us about the date.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
Well, we went to a paint and sip class, you
know the wine easeles instructor wears a beret.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
That kind of thing.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Yeah, I mean we just we had a really good
time because like, okay, I I love her laugh, like
she has a very contagious laugh. Every time she giggles,
you just kind of want to keep it going now.
So that was so like fun to just find ways
to make her laugh.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
That entire night. And I will admit, while.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
I was there, you know, at the at the class,
I drank a little too much wine. I dip my
paintbrush in the glass and started painting with the with
the wine, and I was like, oh, this is hilarious.
Speaker 4 (01:37):
But like some of the other people there got gave
me some dirty looks. I worry if maybe it was
like awkward or something and.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
You wasted wine. You started painting with your wine? Noted that.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Yeah no, so you try to.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
Play it off like like you were joking around or
yeah no, I like I'm joking around because you were
hammered and you couldn't tell the wine from your paint.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
Well yeah, well, plus, I mean, come on, like, what's
wrong with a guy turning.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Wine into art?
Speaker 1 (02:18):
How did she react to that?
Speaker 2 (02:20):
I mean, well, she laughed, she cleaned your lass with mine.
I thought we had like a fun little moment.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
Okay, So okay, what else happened on the day.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
Well, I mean that was that was pretty much all
there in the like it was just that class.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
But we got along just fine. And I don't know
what's up.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
Since after the class. Did y'all just both like leave,
you went your separate ways, you walked left, you and right,
or did y'all like talk for a little bit, you
go on a walk.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
I mean, we talked like a little bit at the end,
but we mostly just parted ways there. But it did
end very very sincerely, like I no real reason to
think she wouldn't get Jimmy, all.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
Right, So that's the only thing you can think of then,
that seemed like a great time.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
That is the only thing I can think of.
Speaker 5 (03:12):
I mean, let's not downplay it at that moment, not
to make you feel worse about it, but that's kind
of a big thing, dipping your paintbrush and wine.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Yeah, ok fair, but it is the only thing.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
Okay, okay, okay, all right, we'll see if we can
figure it out for you. Then we'll play a song,
come back, call her and see if she'll tell us
why she's ghosting you and maybe get you a second date. Okay,
all right, we'll get your first date follow up next
right in the middle of your first date follow up,
and if you're just joining us. Danny is on the
phone and he's getting ghosted by a woman named Priya.
(03:45):
So we're about to call her and see if she'll
tell us why she's ghosting him and maybe get him
a second date. But first, Danny, why don't you break
down your date again for us real quick?
Speaker 3 (03:55):
Okay, Pria and I had mostly a really good time.
We went to a paint and ship class had wine.
At one point I accidentally drank like because I drank
too much wine, get my brush into the wine, but
I played it off. I started painting with it. I
got some dirty looks from the other people there, and
I think maybe that was a little too awkward for her,
(04:16):
So I'm worried that might be the case.
Speaker 2 (04:18):
Okay, I just want to see you. What's up?
Speaker 1 (04:19):
All right? Well, are you ready for us to call her?
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Let's ye here we go.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Hello, Hi, man, speak to Priya please.
Speaker 6 (04:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
This is Kria.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
Hey Pria, how are you? This is a radio show.
It's called the Jubil Show.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
Hi.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
I'm Nina. Hi, I'm Victoria, and my name is Jubil.
What's up?
Speaker 6 (04:46):
Hello?
Speaker 2 (04:47):
Everyone?
Speaker 1 (04:49):
Have you ever listened to the show before?
Speaker 6 (04:52):
I think maybe once or twice?
Speaker 2 (04:54):
Which passing.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
All right, I think maybe once or twice is exactly
what we're looking for when it to people, So don't
check it out more than that. Okay, But we do
do a segment on the show and it's called the
first Date follow Up. That's where if you go out
on a date with somebody and you end up ghosting them,
that person can email us to get you on the
phone and ask why you're ghosting. And we got an
email about you from somebody.
Speaker 6 (05:17):
Wait, okay, yes, I have heard your show before. Who
could that be?
Speaker 1 (05:23):
Well, that's what we're asking for you do you know?
Speaker 6 (05:28):
Is it Jona Say or.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
It's not Jonathan? No, you got another option? Good for
you girl, No Jonathan or Andre you got another third option?
How many people are you ghosting?
Speaker 6 (05:48):
Danny? Yes?
Speaker 1 (05:50):
Third time as a charm? Yeah, Danny emailed us about you.
He said he really liked you and can't figure out
why you're not getting back to him. Would you mind
telling us?
Speaker 2 (05:59):
Oh god, h this is kind of awkward. Sure, you know.
Speaker 6 (06:04):
I'm in the arts industry, and I was really appreciative
that he took me out to one of those like
stiff and paint things. I had never been to one.
So I was really excited. He was a really funny guy.
He was really sweet, he was warm, you know, really personable,
(06:24):
you know, but things took a turn a little bit.
I think he had a little too much to drink.
I'm not much of a drinker in the first place,
you know, so I slipped on my wine, as they say,
but he was just throwing it back and it got
real Salvador Dolly Picasso s you know, the experimental evening
(06:50):
with his personality, so it was a little bit of
a pass for me.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
What happened.
Speaker 6 (06:57):
It was a little strange because he accidentally gifted his
brush in the wine I was asking for, like a
new class.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
He thought it would be funny to.
Speaker 6 (07:07):
Start again going Salvador Dolly with it and you on
that line up that canvas, and that was like, you know, okay.
Speaker 5 (07:15):
I tried to play that off and laugh and you know,
it was a good way to handle like an oopsie.
But it was a freaking Australian accent that took over.
Oh yeah, what thanks Steve Irwin, you know, rest in peace.
Speaker 6 (07:32):
He was narrating the evening. I could understand if maybe
his Australian accent was like really good.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
But it was not.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
You know, it wasn't good.
Speaker 6 (07:41):
And every single brushstroke was another sentence to the Australian accent.
It's like, all right, do it for one paragraph, but
don't that's a whole book.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
So he was just annoying you with his bank Australian accent.
Was he doing that to be funnier? Did he seem
like he was nervous?
Speaker 6 (07:59):
I don't know. I assume the alcohol content.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
That's a good point.
Speaker 6 (08:06):
Yeah, I don't know, like soft intro to role play.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
Okay, well, thank you for telling us why you're ghosting him.
Appreciate that is your chance to go with the Australian guy. Damn.
I'm also let you know he's actually on the phone
listening and wants to talk to you.
Speaker 6 (08:26):
Oh awesome, look at that. How you doing, Danny?
Speaker 2 (08:32):
Or you say a good eight?
Speaker 1 (08:36):
It's on that that.
Speaker 6 (08:37):
Actually, no, you shouldn't, Danny, Well, go on, I think
that's the that's ridiculous thing to go someone over. There's
been weirder like that evening. You know, I'm so sorry,
but the image of you doing that, he says, feared
into my brain. I'm so sorry. It's that imagine I'm
(09:02):
sitting there, everything's normal, and then all of a sudden
you start painting with wine, and then and no.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
Splash of right, I said, drunk.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
I'm sorry, I didn't know Bluie came out Louie. You know,
it puts a little splash of passion across the horizon.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
Is that the name of your Australian guy?
Speaker 2 (09:30):
I mean, look, I don't know any Australian people. It's
the easiest one to go with. I didn't realize how
drunk I was. But sometimes when I get really drunk.
Speaker 3 (09:39):
That he comes out.
Speaker 1 (09:44):
Ego.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
Well, I mean it's nice to have someone I can
kind of fall back into.
Speaker 6 (09:50):
Okay, no, we need blue to go back inside.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
I think it makes things fun. What's wrong with bringing
some Bob.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
Ross energy with, you know, an accent.
Speaker 6 (10:04):
I'm sorry, Danny, but it wasn't funny. It was it
was really annoying, you know, once or twice. Okay, that's
cute going into bluey territory. Now now I'm fifteen years
old watching Nickelodeon. It was not.
Speaker 3 (10:16):
Sexy, but it was funny, all right, Like it was funny.
I think maybe you should open your heart to entertainment.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
A little more. Maybe, I mean I was killing it.
Speaker 3 (10:27):
I thought, you know, everybody was laughing. The teacher took notice.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
I thought it was a good time. Everybody seemed to
enjoy it.
Speaker 6 (10:36):
They were laughing at you. Not it was to all that.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
Oh no, I think there's no such thing as bad publicity.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
I want to recognize the muse allic matters.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
Prio. Would you like another date with Danny? Will pay
for it.
Speaker 6 (10:54):
No, I am not ready for another performance art meltdown.
Speaker 3 (10:59):
Wait wait no, no, no, wait, wait, okay, okay, hear
me out, hear me out.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
I don't know I went overboard.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
I had, I had the running commentary everything.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
It's a bit much. That was kind of a disaster. Okay,
I'll hear you.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
I can't promise you that I'll be uh, you know, perfect,
but I can't tell yeah, I won't terrorize everyone else there.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
Come on, just one more chance, like a normal human.
I swear I can do that.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
What do you think one more chance?
Speaker 6 (11:28):
Oh my god, I'm afraid that I'm not just dodging
a bullet, but I'm like dodging paint splatter. And that
sounds even scarier to me. But you know, Danny, you
are so dramatic but fine. One more, try again, Yes
I will, but this is the last chance.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
Okay, yes, yes, Croakey. I'm excited you will.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
First date, follow up
