Speaker 1 (00:00):
First Date follow Up powered by the Advocates Injury Attorneys
online at Advocates Law dot com.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Ryan is on the phone today for our first Day
follow up and he's getting ghosted by Christine. So in
a few minutes we're gonna call her and see if
she'll tell us why she's ghosting him and maybe get
him another date. But first, Ryan, how long has it
been since you heard from Christine.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
It's been it's been a few minutes. I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 4 (00:23):
I'm getting a little I'm excited that we can reconnect,
but I'm a little bit concerned why she hasn't gotten
back to May.

Speaker 5 (00:31):
Okay, that's fair. But when you say, like it's been
a few minutes.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
Like a week, like I would say within a week.

Speaker 5 (00:37):
Yeah, let's talk about the date and see if we
can figure out why.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Well, this is a confusing part. Okay. So, like we
went to this acalian through a defensive room.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
Okay, we're doing this park and it was like so
awesome to there was like boots everywhere, like Monzareilla first,
Mozilla everything writing.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Yeah, and we both geeked out early.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
She's into food like I am, and we were just
I mean, we ended up in this little sort of
tiny family down sort of run like deli. Okay, and
it's so good, like insane Italian combo sandwich like life
singing sandwich.

Speaker 6 (01:14):
Okay really, and so after stuff in our faces, made
up this little dive bar and it was just like
old jukebox sticky fors darts that never go straight.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
And somehow she just destroyed me at dark totally just
wiped the floor to me.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Not even competitive, but.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
It was fun, you know, yeah, and yeah, and then
she stayed over.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Oh okay, So that sounds like the date went well.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
Oh phenomenal. I mean, laughing, talking, vibing and look, I'm
not gonna lie. Did we hook up?

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Yes, and everything. Everything was just great.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
So then what went wrong?

Speaker 4 (01:57):
Well, you know, listen, okay, I I don't know exactly,
and I know, you know, dates can be fun, it's
still going to wear, but with her, it's just felt
so different. You know, she's really chill, nobia senergy and
look like I didn't feel like I was trying to
impress or anything like that.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
We just you know, we just clicked.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
You know that's great. Yeah, well uh huh yeah, yeah.

Speaker 7 (02:24):
Well Well here's the thing okay, so I think I
think she stole my punch cards. Your punch card, Yeah, okay, So,
because we're both into food and stuff like that, I
showed her, like Dellie's.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Punch cards from these it's like a restaurant.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
It's like twenty sandwiches, get you a free sandwich every
week for six months if you're finished an under three months.
And look, it's a stupid flex but she was impressed.
She was like checking it out the whole time, you know,
like I mean, she was hanging out. So it's funny,
like it was kind of like a ronic joke. But
then the next morning, the card's just gone, Okay, it
just vanished and she left before I woke up, and an,

(03:04):
I think she took it.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
Like pocketed it. And I know she's ghosting me because
she doesn't want to face that. And like, who killed
a punch card. It's not even money, it's sandwiches. It's weird.

Speaker 5 (03:13):
But you did use it to impress her though, So like,
clearly you guys both appreciate the sandwich punch.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Yeah, could you have just dropped it though? Are you
sure she stole it?

Speaker 3 (03:25):
It was?

Speaker 4 (03:26):
I am telling you, I know where it is if
she had it last it's it's gone.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
I've checked everywhere, okay, and I worked hard for that.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
You know.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
So so do you want another day or you just
want your punch card back?

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Both? I'll take her for it, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Ryan is on the phone today for our first date
follow up and he's getting ghosted by Christine. So we're
about to call her and see if she'll tell us
why she's ghosting him and maybe get him a second date.
But first, Ryan, why don't you recap your date again
real quick?

Speaker 3 (03:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (03:56):
So Christina and I went out and we hit like
this super cool food festival, ate a bunch of food,
had a great time, and then we ended up going
back to my place hooking up. But when she left
in the morning, I noticed that my punch card for
this great restaurant is like gone, and I think that
she took it.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Okay, so we're going to fight. Well, So our mission
here is to find out why you're getting ghosted, maybe
get you a second date, and also get your punch
card back. Yes, okay, here, we are you ready?

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Okay? Hello him, I speak to Christine.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Please?

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Is this she?

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Hey Christine? How are you? This is a radio show.
It's called The Jewbil Show.

Speaker 5 (04:55):
Hi Christine, I'm Nina.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Hi I'm Victoria and my name is Jebel. How are you.
I'm good, How are you great? Thanks for asking? Have
you ever listened to the show before?

Speaker 6 (05:07):
No?

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Oh cool? Okay, so a little bit about us. We
do a segment called it's called the First Aid follow Up.
That's where if you go out on a date with
somebody and then you end up ghosting them, that person
can email us to get you on the phone and
ask about why you're ghosting them. Do you have a
few minutes to talk to us because we got an
email about you from somebody?

Speaker 8 (05:26):
Oh god, I guess, so.

Speaker 5 (05:32):
Are you ghosting somebody?

Speaker 9 (05:35):
I guess there's somebody that comes to mind, but I
haven't responded.

Speaker 5 (05:41):
Okay, so this is like an intentional ghosting or you
just like I'll get back to him later.

Speaker 8 (05:48):
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (05:48):
I just I guess I just didn't know what to say,
and then, you know, like time got away from me
kind of.

Speaker 10 (05:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (05:55):
Okay, well, who are you talking about. Let's make sure
it's the same person.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
His name is Ryan, Yes, Christine, that's who emailed us.
Ryan emailed us. He told us about your date. He
said it was awesome and he really liked you, but
he's wondering why you're not getting back to him. Can
you tell us.

Speaker 9 (06:15):
A little sort of embarrassing And I don't usually kiss
and tell, but.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
I guess I was just in bed.

Speaker 9 (06:23):
He was kind of like, I don't even know how
to say this nicely.

Speaker 11 (06:28):
He was mid, are you kidding me, Christine?

Speaker 2 (06:38):
That's Ryan. He's on the phone and wants to talk
to you.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
I wasn't excting that.

Speaker 8 (06:46):
Yeah, awkward, but yeah, I mean.

Speaker 9 (06:49):
I would say mid, and you're not. You're really okay.
I'm sorry, You're not awful. It's just like there was
a lot of talking and you were like giving me
play by place like it was like or something, and
at one point you it was just a lot of
verbal At one point you whispered time to stack the

(07:09):
layers like that right.

Speaker 8 (07:11):
In my ear, Listen, I was being placeful.

Speaker 12 (07:17):
I was being playful and original. I was being playful.
Christine's back. The layers is like romantic. It's a metaphor
for depth and flavor. Me.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
Come on, I mean, okay, I thought you had potential.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
It was like you're sweet.

Speaker 9 (07:31):
The day was really fun and I was open, you know,
I was open at that point, just seeing where things
could go. But I just I don't know if it's
gonna work out, to be honest.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
Yeah right, I know what this is. I know what
it is. Christine.

Speaker 4 (07:45):
You know it didn't work out because you're a liar
and you sold my punch card. Okay, and I'm not
gonna let you ruin my bedroom rerapid talk about this
potential bull Listen. He was the last one to see
my punch card and now it's gone.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
That just own it.

Speaker 11 (07:59):
Oh my god, I did not take your stupid punch part.

Speaker 9 (08:03):
Like, why would I risk my integrity for a sandwich
punch part?

Speaker 4 (08:06):
It's not the holy Grail.

Speaker 6 (08:08):
It's just.

Speaker 12 (08:10):
Because you admired it. And why were you handling it
all night? You asked questions about it, you held it,
then it was gone. Where else would it go?

Speaker 9 (08:17):
Yeah? I admired it like a museum piece, not like
I was planning a heis I mean, have you looked
between your couch chushions?

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Yeah? I looked at it.

Speaker 8 (08:31):
I find your self awareness in there too, because it
seems to be missing as well.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
Oh that's really really good. That's really good, as good
as the sandwich.

Speaker 4 (08:40):
You're probably gonna steal once you take that punch card and.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
Cash it in. I already know the deal, man.

Speaker 8 (08:45):
I don't know your punch part. It's probably in your
house somewhere.

Speaker 9 (08:49):
Your house was kind of a mess.

Speaker 8 (08:50):
You have one towel.

Speaker 4 (08:51):
God, yeah, your morals are a mess. If you're stealing
on a date and you think that's okay to not okay.
And I'm telling you, if I had I wish, I
wish I had a camera, I would I should have
set up a camera.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
You would be so red handed right now.

Speaker 10 (09:04):
You can know what second Layers was. If you had
a camera, Christine, I might know the answer to this.
I'm gonna ask, though, would you like a second date
with Ryan? We will pay for it?

Speaker 8 (09:17):
No bad, Yeah, say whatever you want.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
Sef.

Speaker 4 (09:30):
We both know you like my sandwich card, and you know,
and you're gonna just you know what, I hope that's.

Speaker 8 (09:38):
Like under your.

Speaker 9 (09:38):
Stack of nail and you're gonna be so embarrassed.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Oh yeah, I'm really embarrassed. Trust me. I looked everywhere.
I know my sandwich card.

Speaker 9 (09:45):
Okay, good bye Sandwich King.
