Speaker 1 (00:00):
First Date follow Up powered by the Advocates Injury Attorneys
online at advocateslad dot com.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Tray is on the phone today for a first day
follow up and he's getting ghosted by Aaron. So we're
gonna call her in a minute and see if we
can figure out why he's getting ghosted and maybe get
him another date if he still wants one.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
But first, Trey, how'd you meet erin?

Speaker 4 (00:18):
Hey?

Speaker 5 (00:19):
Uh, well, we were at a club. We were there separately.
We just actually literally bumped into each other. We're leaving
the dance floor to go to the bar, and we
just accidentally just like bumped into where I wasn't looking,
and I kind of walked into our a little bit,
but I apologized and made a little small talk. We
talked for a bit on our way to the bar,
and uh, you know, we're we're chatting, and yeah, we

(00:40):
decided to exchange numbers before we left the club and
you know, maybe maybe get together again.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
At some point, and you know, just you know what
we we seem to have like a little mutual attraction
right after that.

Speaker 6 (00:51):
It's what we all hope for when we go to club.

Speaker 7 (00:57):
Okay, yay, Yeah.

Speaker 5 (00:58):
So so I got a number, and then I texted
her a couple of times, and we actually talked on
the phone once and we decided.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
We're going to go out and just you know, grab.

Speaker 5 (01:07):
Something casual to eat and just you know, so we
were in like a club setting and just kind of like,
you know, actually try to get to know each other
so we could actually hear each other. And she recommended
this cool little place that we wound up going to
that was pretty close to both of us, and she
said she liked it, so like, yeah, okay, let's go there.
So so so I took her out there.

Speaker 7 (01:26):
So then what happened when you were there?

Speaker 4 (01:28):
Well, I mean she walked in and she's a show stopper.
She was gorgeous.

Speaker 5 (01:31):
I mean she was she was hot as hell when
we were at the club, you know, literally and figuratively,
it was it was pretty hot there, so you know,
we were dancing, we were sweating. It was kind of
just one of those big gross club nights. But she
was hot there too. But I mean, she was gorgeous
when she showed up at the at the at the restaurant,
So it was just it was nice to see her
in kind of like a real life setting. I guess, Okay,

(01:55):
we had a conversation and we were talking and everything
seemed great, and I knew that, you know, if I
fumbled the ball or anything, then you know, we could
always fall back on music as our conversational topic because
we have that in common. But it never even got
to that. Like we did, the conversation was natural and
it was easy, and it was just it was a
really really cool, cool conversation.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
We're having a great time.

Speaker 7 (02:19):
So what do you think could have gone wrong? I mean,
it sounds like it's been really.

Speaker 5 (02:23):
Great, So then I have no idea. Then, you know,
she gets up to excuse herself. No big deal, yeah,
of course, and she goes off to the ladies and
I'm just sitting there waiting and she comes back about
twenty minutes or so later, which not a big deal.
I didn't really think twice about it. She sits down

(02:43):
and she says, uh, sorry, and since time, we start
talking again and you know, trying to pick up, trying
to pick up after where that lag was. But then
it was just different, like she was. It was almost
like a different girl came back out. She sat down
and she was kind of like just vacant, like she's

(03:03):
you know, one word answers, nodding her head a little bit,
you know, And I'm trying to keep a light I'm
trying to joke around and not over pressure.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
I didn't know if I was coming off.

Speaker 5 (03:13):
Too desperate or too whatever, So I'm really trying to
keep it as light as i can. But she was
saying she was trying to force a smile here, but
you know, her shoulders were slumped in a little bit,
and she just looked like, I don't know, bored. Maybe
she was just waiting for the whole thing to wrap up.
I couldn't tell.

Speaker 7 (03:28):
So something happened in the bathroom.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
Something must have happened in the bathroom. I wasn't I
wasn't going to force anything. I really did like her.
I do like her, but I got you, I really
did like I didn't want to force anything.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
We decided to just wrap it up, and I offered
to walk her back to her car. She said, yeah, cool,
no problem.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
But yeah, we're walking back, and she's still just kind
of like, you know, head down, just kind.

Speaker 4 (03:50):
Of walking through.

Speaker 5 (03:51):
Get we get to her car, and I thanked her
for night, and she perked up a little bit, and
she said I really had a good time, which kind
of made me scratched my head a little bit. All right, well,
she had a good time, so I went in just
for a little kiss, but she kind of gave me
the swoop and kissed me on the cheek.

Speaker 8 (04:08):
Help and.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
No problem, not gonna push it. So I say, Okay,
we'll get home safe and if you want just to,
you know, text me to let me to let me
know that you get home.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
She did, she actually did. She texted me when she
got home.

Speaker 5 (04:21):
She said, made it home safe, and she said thanks.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
Again for a great night. Really appreciate it.

Speaker 5 (04:26):
And she said I'm super beat going to bed, but
I'll text you tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
And that was. That was a week ago. I didn't
hear back.

Speaker 7 (04:35):
All right, sweet, well play detective and find out what
happened in the bathroom.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
Let's do it.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
We'll play a song come back, and then call her
and see if we can figure out why you're getting
ghosted and maybe get you another date with your first
day follow up next.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Okay, awesome, thanks, all right, pleas on come back. You're
your first day followup?

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Right it for this first date follow up powered by
the Advocates Injury attorneys online at advocatesla dot com.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Right in the middle of your first date follow up
if you're just joining, Trey is on the phone.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
He's getting ghosted by Aaron.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
So we're going to see if we can figure it
out and call her in a second and find out
why he's getting ghosted and maybe get him another date.
But before we do that, Trey, why don't you refresh
everybody's memory on your date with Aaron?

Speaker 4 (05:13):
Well, I met Aaron out at a club.

Speaker 5 (05:15):
It seemed like we had some sparks, maybe a little connection,
so we decided to exchange numbers and meet up for dinner.
We met it for dinner and we had a fantastic,
amazing conversation in till she went up to go to
the bathroom and she came back out of the bathroom
like a different girl. So after that, it was just
kind of the energy was totally gone. The whole evening deflated,

(05:38):
and I don't know what happened. And I've tried reaching
out to her a couple of times, but I haven't
really heard much backgroum.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Her ready to call her? Yeah, all right, here we go,
Here we go. Hello, may speak to Aaron?

Speaker 8 (06:01):
Please this is Aaron.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
Hey, Aaron, how are you? My name is Jewbell and
a host a radio show. It's called The Jewbel Show.

Speaker 7 (06:08):
My name is Nina. Hi mis Vitoria, Hi Arian?

Speaker 3 (06:11):
How are you hi?

Speaker 8 (06:12):
I'm I'm fine? Thanks? What's going on?

Speaker 2 (06:16):
We do a segment of the show called the First
Date follow Up. That's where if you go on a
date and ghost somebody, they can email us to get
you on the phone and ask why they're getting ghosted.
And you are currently ghosting.

Speaker 8 (06:27):
Somebody, Oh my gosh, are you serious?

Speaker 6 (06:31):
Well, I mean you would know for sure. Are you
ghosting somebody?

Speaker 8 (06:36):
Is this about Trey?

Speaker 3 (06:38):
Yes, it is about Trey.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Trey emailed us and he said he really liked your date,
but now you're not calling him back and doesn't know why.

Speaker 8 (06:44):
He went to a radio station to find out why
I'm not texting him back.

Speaker 7 (06:49):
Can you really blame me?

Speaker 6 (06:51):
It's the worst when you don't know why somebody's not
calling you back, you know, no.

Speaker 8 (06:55):
No, no, no, no no. I totally agree. I can't believe
he went to all this. Oh my gosh, I feel
so guilty.

Speaker 7 (07:01):
Guys, he really likes you.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
Yeah, I really.

Speaker 8 (07:04):
Liked him too. I really like him I I really
like him. It's the date was great. We have so
much in common. Gosh, he is really really good looking.
Just to get that out of the way. It's like
nothing to do with him. You can tell he's one
of those guys who's like really raised to like treat women. Right.

(07:27):
I loved our date.

Speaker 7 (07:29):
Why aren't you talking to him?

Speaker 8 (07:31):
No? This is so embarrassing. So I didn't tell Trey
ahead of time. But I suffer from these really severe
chronic migraines and they come on really really fast, and
so one came on while we were on our date,

(07:52):
and I was like, I felt miserable. I could barely
keep my eyes open, and so I like escaped to
the bathroom and I was in there for like twenty minutes.
Like I was like, this guy's gonna think I'm like
nuts or doing drugs or something. And so I was
trying really really hard to keep together and to like

(08:13):
not say anything. But I was so dizzy and nauseous
that like I threw up while I was in there.
I just felt terrible.

Speaker 7 (08:21):
Yeah, I know those are wrath Aaron, wouldn't he understand that?

Speaker 5 (08:26):
It?

Speaker 8 (08:26):
Probably? I probably I probably should have just said something
like he was being so sweet though I didn't want
to like ruin it by being like, well, I have
this like massive issue and it's gonna get in the
way of us being able to have a conversation. It's
like I've had a lot of really nice nights and

(08:47):
like awesome times in the past that these have just ruined.
I was so embarrassed because like he was really nice
about it. He seemed like he like took the hint
that I wasn't doing right. He like asked if I
was okay. It was. It was just like it was
a weird situation for a first date, you know. I
just feel like I ruined the night, you know, and

(09:09):
I didn't want to have to deal with the fallout
from that and hear him stay that I ruined it.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
Thank you for being honest with us. Aaron Trey is
actually on the phone right now listening and wants to
talk to you.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
By the way, I should should have told you.

Speaker 8 (09:21):
That, Oh my gosh, Yes.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
Yeah, oh my god.

Speaker 5 (09:26):
I'm surprised that you just didn't feel like you could
tell me that.

Speaker 4 (09:29):
I know we were just having a first date, but
like I.

Speaker 5 (09:33):
Don't know that that's kind of like a little red
flag for me that you just didn't even want to
just mention.

Speaker 8 (09:38):
That you're going through that you think that's a red flag? Like,
why is that a red flag?

Speaker 4 (09:43):
I mean, just just be upfront about it. Just just
come forward with it. Just be honest.

Speaker 5 (09:47):
Hey, look, oh my god, I'm feeling I'm feeling my
head's gonna explode, I feel sick something. Just let me
know that you're not just like off shooting up somewhere.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Ow.

Speaker 8 (09:59):
I mean, I mean, I'm sorry. I didn't want to
lay something super vulnerable and like a little gross out
on a first day.

Speaker 4 (10:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (10:07):
On the on the other hand, I do appreciate that
we didn't get that kiss, so so thank you for
saving me from that one.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
What wait, I mean yeah, if you're sick or not
feeling well or give me COVID or something like that,
then then thank goodness.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
Wait, I don't think that's what from the migro is from.

Speaker 7 (10:27):
Do you know what migraines are?

Speaker 6 (10:28):
Erin, why don't you just explain for everybody who's not
fully aware of what migraines are.

Speaker 8 (10:33):
Yeah, it's nothing to do with like being sick or
having a cold. It's just like a headache, that's so
bad that like I can't deal with light and I
get super nauseous, and yeah, like I threw up. Of
course I didn't want to kiss you good night. I
would have been so gross.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
That's true that.

Speaker 7 (10:53):
You should be saying thank.

Speaker 5 (10:54):
You that that actually, yes, thank you in all seriousness,
thank you for not kissing me up?

Speaker 4 (11:00):
You throw if Bakim, I liked it a lot.

Speaker 5 (11:03):
I still do like you, just just the way you
handle things, so like, you know, if there is a
going forward, is that just you know what to expect
going going ahead.

Speaker 8 (11:12):
Look, I really like you too, and could probably have
been a little bit more upfront, Like I can't promise
that I'm just going to like tell you all of
my deepest, darkest secrets within like a couple of days
of knowing you, but I could try to tell you
a little bit more what's going on.

Speaker 5 (11:31):
I guess, yeah, I don't need to know all the
deep dark ones right off the bat, but just you know,
if something like that happens, here's the reason why.

Speaker 4 (11:38):
That's that would have been enough for me. That totally
would have been enough to me.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
Well, would you like to go out with Trey on
another date? Aaron we'll pay for it.

Speaker 8 (11:46):
Oh wow, I mean yeah? Yeah, like I like you.
And now that this is out in the air, let's
bee maybe maybe next time it could be different.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
Sweet. Yeah, no, I'd be happy to. We can do
whatever you want however you're comfortable.

Speaker 5 (12:03):
And if it winds up that you need to go
throw up again, would you please tell me that time
so that I don't go in for that case again.

Speaker 8 (12:14):
Yeah? Yeah, that is that is definitely your problems.

Speaker 3 (12:16):
I can make puke free. Second date. Congratulations.

Speaker 8 (12:20):
Yes. Jubile's first date
