Join Lance and Michael on the road to Sin City for a smooth and fun ride presented by Hyundai!

In between car games, Lance opens up about his life on the road back in his *NSYNC days, including who was the messiest and smelliest (yes, he goes there), doing the show "Hot Ones" with the guys, and what life on the road would look like now if they went back on tour.

Speaker 1 (00:04):
This is Frosted Tips with Lance Bass, an iHeartRadio podcast. Hello,
my little peanuts, it's me your host, Lance Bass. This
is frosted Tips of me Lance Bass. Imagine that and
my wonderful co host and happened to be husband, Michael Turchin.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Well, hello, happened to be husband.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
You can call him Turkey.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
You can call me that too. Gob gobble gobble babe.
All right.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
We are at the iHeart Theater, which I've never been
to by I know. This is awesome.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
It's like a legit theater.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
It is beautiful. The sound system is crank it it's booming.
We are loading up the car. We are driving to Vegas.
It has been a long time since I've driven to Vegas.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
I'll tell you how long. It's been.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Hell long.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
It has been I think like twelve years.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
How do you know that?

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Because we drove to Vegas like a when we first
started dating, and that was the last time you drove there.
Is that the.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Trip where I asked you to be my boyfriend?

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (00:56):
It is also I know, yeah, Okay, we have to
tell this story.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
I was going. It was my friend Zach's friends. I'd
never even there what it was Sarah's birthday. No, it
wasn't her birthday. It was that's the first friend ross
from Chicago. Sarah happened to be there too. She was
invited and uh yeah, so we were. I was with
Zach driving to Vegas and then we're like, oh, I
was dating Lance was very a couple months at that point,

(01:23):
and Zach was like, oh, Lance got us like some
passes to some show whatever, but they're in his mailbox.
So I'm like, we're gonna stop by his house first
and then drive. So I was like okay, So he
went to his place. I like crept up in the house.
I was still like awkward to like, he's going.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
To meet my roommates.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Yeah, met before, but I was not comfortable like around
them yet. I still felt like awkward going up to
the house. I had a lot of anxiety at that
time because in general, you still and I still do. Anyway,
where was I what was I thinking? Hey, So then
we got the tickets. IM about to then go back
into the car and then you just like jump out
of the bush in front of your house. It's like surprise.
It was the first coming too, because you were supposed

(01:59):
to be in New York.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Yes, right, God, I was so romantic back in the day.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
You were back in the day, all right, So that
was the wow.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
So we officially became boyfriends on the last time we
drove to Vegas twelve years ago. Wow, look at this
full circle and now we're following the Pod Meets World
cast and my ex girlfriend full circle. Is this awkward
for you?

Speaker 2 (02:23):
It's very awkward. It's very uncomfortable.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Okay, Actually, because I see her over there, I'm get it.
In their car, this is going to be.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
I'm gonna cut some of her hair. She's not looking
in the back of it, those flowy locks. She's gonna go. Well.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
I mean, I did live in Vegas, That's why I
would always drive there. But I swore I would never
drive again after the eight hour traffic that I would
hit sometimes on a Sunday afternoon, no more. But I'm
doing it. This time. We're not going to hit traffic.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
No.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
But this time, at least we have a bunch of
fun stops on the way, which I'm excited to go to,
which I've.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Wanted to do a lot of these, because me back
in the day, I would you know, maybe two stops.
But we're going to see the tallest in the world.
I mean, come on, we can say we saw it.
The seven what is the seven Sacred Mountains whatever? Seven
seven magic mountains, seven magic mountains. You they could be
sacred to you, which I thought was a theme park,

(03:12):
but it's not.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
No, that's a different Magic rocks and they're beautiful, the
beautiful colored painted rocks.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Yeah, yeah, which it begs to you know, ask how
do they keep them so freshly.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
With paint?

Speaker 1 (03:28):
I know, but they do it every day because I've
seen these pictures.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
You'll have mister and missus seven Rock Mountain Man and
whatever his name is.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Ask.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
One stop, which you've never been on, which we're not
doing today, is Calico ghost Town.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Which told me so many times. Yeah, it's a legit
ghost down but we're here there.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
And then also, uh, let's say Peggy sus Is that
we're going to Peggy sus.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
No, we're not going to Peggy, We're going to Jenny Rows.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
Jenny Rose.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Sus Is like the fifties died. This is the yeah,
this is the other one.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
Yea.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
It was the cover of Sheryl Crow's first album.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Yeah, that was on the back of it. Yeah. Yeah,
the big heart, says Jenny Rows the most importantly. Our
first up, we're going to the Cracker Barrel.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Oh my gosh, I forgot. We're going to the Cracker Barrel,
which I haven't been in years.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
I know.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
We're about to eat that is growing up in the South,
that's where you would go after church.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
That's we're going to go for like a good occasion.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
And I already breakfast. The only thing I've ever had
there that was lunch like was the mac and cheese
and country fried steak.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Okay, the only thing I had there that has been
lunch like has been two things. Either of the fried
catfish on Fridays they.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Have, Oh I love that, you know that's on Fridays, and.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
They had fried chicken. Yeah, it's fried catfish Friday. I
just remember that. Wow, that's weird. That's embarrassing.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
My favorite thing about it though, besides the uh, the
hash brown casserole and the apples and their buttermilk biscuits.
The general store because they always had Christmas stuff. It
is always and now there's gonna be Halloween stuff.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Inside of Cracker Barrel looks like inside of your my
dream parents' house during any holiday. Yeah, it is the
same kind of similar.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
I'm hearingativity out of this somehow, and.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
There was no negativity. That's all. You just taking that in.
I was saying that with love and joy and festiveness.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Those eyes. I mean, if y'all could see these eyes
right now, they're like, mmm, I would love my decorations. Yeah,
of course I do, so, yes, I will be getting
a lot of things, so just of course.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
I mean, look, there's alien jerky on the way.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Okay, we can get that.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
There's all kinds of just random stuff.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Ok Wait, and we'll get another bag, we'll check it in,
we'll make it work.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Okay. What else we got for you before we start
this show?

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Or also, once we get to Vegas, it's gonna be
the I Heeart.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Oh yeah, I Heeart Festival, which is gonna be so
I was here last year. You didn't get to go,
but it was so much fun, and it was right
before we started this show. Yeah, because I remember coming
here to think, oh, I'm going to go and be
able to like announce a show, but we didn't. We
were unable to because we started thinking January February. I
don't know. I can't believe it's only been a few
months for frosted tips. We've been doing this for three years.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
It's been January, so it was January January year.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
Okay, yeah, I mean that's just a few months to me.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
No, that's not.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
It's actually it's definitely not almost.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Well, that's still not it's not a few.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Ten's a few to me. No, it's a few.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
I guess this is our first argument of the road trip.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Oh lord, it's not even started yet. I'm going back
in the theater. I'm going back in the closet, all right, guys. Okay,
when we come back, we're going to continue our road
trip to Vegas for the iHeart Music Festival, and I'm
sure we're going to run into our pals Pod meets
World on the way because I do see them in
front of us, so hopefully they don't speed too much.
Actually I'm the speeder, so keep up eat our dust,

(06:51):
all right, and thanks Hyundai for making this happen. Yes,
we are driving in their tu song tis on.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
This is so nice.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
All the new cars are like they did something crazy.
Like the rebranding is a roof. I know, it's like
a convertible.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
I know.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
That's why next week I'm getting a home we're getting.
I know, I'm very excited.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
All right, all right, we'll be right back with our
continuing road trip to Vegas.

Speaker 4 (07:35):
Do do do? All right? So we have a hitchtiger
Jamie with us.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
Yes, we picked him up in Los Angeles.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Huh and uh we have now tapped him as the
interviewer so that now we can answer the hard hitting questions.

Speaker 4 (07:57):
And there's some hard hitting questions. They are pretty so, uh, ticker, Jamie,
let's do it. What are your thoughts on road trips?
I love a road trip. I usually live in Vegas,
so I.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
Have driven this many, many many times before. Obviously within sync.
We do a lot of road trips across country many times.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
But don't you know, Oh, I wouldn't mind the road
trips if I was in bed. Yeah, well yeah I wouldn't.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
But the Vegas trip, I mean, I think it's the
perfect way.

Speaker 5 (08:31):
Next question, So if you're going anywhere on a road trip,
where would you.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
Go if I were to go on a road trip. Okay,
so I now know my favorite road trip because we
just did it. We did do it. You start in
San Francisco and you drive the one oh one back
down to Los Angeles or even go to San Diego.

Speaker 4 (08:52):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
It was beautiful, so nice, and there's so many different
ways you can take it. But yeah, that's that's my favorite.
And I can't believe it took me this long to
be able.

Speaker 4 (09:02):
To do it.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
I know that was a great road trip.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
Yeah, yeah, I do agree with all the road trips
that taking help was my favorite. It was pretty like
each stretch wasn't too long and can if like the
most you do is like two a little plus hours
eat stretched, then it's a doable road trip.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
I used to drive from North Carolina every year to
my grandparents' house from Miami and it was like thirteen
fourteen hours.

Speaker 5 (09:27):
And it was just the worst trips cost Cali.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
Yeah, well, you know, now that we're older, it's more
of like what beaches and trails you can do and
spas you can stop as it.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
Was basically eating and going to spalls with the highlights.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
We didn't even have one dream. Well I guess we
had more like a martini.

Speaker 4 (09:49):
But it was definitely a yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
Yeah, it was more trip, yeah, minus all the food
we eate, but we we hiked.

Speaker 4 (09:57):
A lot through. When you're on this trip, you're choosing
a podcast. Okay, what podcast?

Speaker 3 (10:04):
I mean?

Speaker 4 (10:05):
Of course, pod meets World is one of my faves.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
Of course you do. Let's get over her and you're
married now with children.

Speaker 4 (10:14):
It's the one that got away, the one that got away.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Let's see of course, like everyone else, I love a
good murder mystery podcast.

Speaker 4 (10:23):
So I love Cereal. Let's see other ones.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
Oh and I love scripted podcasts scat.

Speaker 4 (10:33):
I like that those are now a thing.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
You mean, like bedtime stories that the English Side is.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
I mean, you can't be in bedtime Stories at the
English side and starting you know, Jason Alexander and all
some of the best.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
Comedians a tile.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
Let's go down memory.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
Lane a little bit.

Speaker 5 (10:50):
Let's go down to the sync tour bus day.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
Look, I love to be on on the tour bus.
I don't sleep better than when I'm on a bus.
It just rocks me to sleep. And the vibration and
the sound that is that's why I can't really go
to sleep quickly. Now I'm gonna still with no noise,
my brain won't shut off. But yeah, it was so

(11:15):
fun because you got to just kind of play in
between shows, and all of a sudden you leave Phoenix.

Speaker 4 (11:22):
And you're in Dallas.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
Now you're like okay, and then your friends get to
join you on the road and family. That was always
fun because, especially during the height of and SYNC, my
friends were in college, so they would jump on the
road with us a few dates and have the best
time ever. But I also had to share a bus
with Joey Fatton and that gets in it gets Ill Stinky.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
And his brother he's a videographer. I'd be like, no,
I mean, I'm sure you didn't have the option back then.
I need my own bus.

Speaker 4 (11:56):
Yeah. But the good thing is eventually when like we
made it, Yeah, we had a bus at a shower
on it.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
So it was nice because with an ENCYNCT show, you're
on the bus heading to the next show before the
band stops playing the last song, so.

Speaker 4 (12:12):
You're out of the venue.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
Oh well, so that you don't get caught in traffic
the fans aren't you know whatever. So you're I mean
you're ripping your MIC's off, you're taking your clothes off.
You get on the bus, you're just in a tank
top and underwear and just a towel, and you're soaked,
I mean soaked, so you can't take a shower right away,

(12:34):
because you're just gonna keep sweating, so you kind of
have to sit there in the filth for a good
thirty minutes as you eat your cold olive garden, and
then once you stop sweating, that's when you can take
a shower.

Speaker 3 (12:45):
Yeah that sounds great.

Speaker 4 (12:46):
Yeah it is. Yeah, it smells wonderful.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (12:52):
Yeah, you were hypothetically back on an en sync tour
was what items?

Speaker 3 (12:58):
What?

Speaker 4 (12:58):
Five essential items?

Speaker 1 (13:00):
Okay, yeah, okay, hypothetically, if I'm on the en Sync
tour bus, well one this time it would be mine.

Speaker 4 (13:08):
It's because I have a family now, so sorry, Joey,
you're off.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
Of course it's yours.

Speaker 6 (13:13):
But the essentials my kids gotta have the kids, well,
entertainment for the kids, so toys, whatever little plate.

Speaker 4 (13:25):
Room for them.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
You have to have your iPad, of course, because that's
how I'm gonna watch most of my movies. You have
to have amazing snacks. Of course, let's see.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
Nothing back in the day. What were you like? I
wish I had this. I wish.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
I mean a really good pillow because you sleep a lot,
so you're not gonna use the monk pillows.

Speaker 4 (13:54):
You gotta bring your own, real nice pillow.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
And and some really comfy shoes like house slippers, because
you're basically at a house.

Speaker 3 (14:05):
What about a nice candle? I want to make a
smell nice if something stinky.

Speaker 4 (14:09):
It's dangerous to have a lit candle.

Speaker 3 (14:11):
I know you like to live on the edge, I.

Speaker 4 (14:13):
Mean I do. What about you? What are your five essentials?

Speaker 3 (14:16):
When I tore? Well, when I tore as a whole
other story. I've always had my own.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Bus, usually playing my own plane, but I usually need
a butler on the bus, A bus butler, a bustler,
a bus that is what I used to call it when.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
I asked the tour.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
Yeah, that's mostly it, and he just doesn't gets everything
else I'd need, So it's kind of a one stop show.

Speaker 4 (14:42):
What snacks do you have to have on the road?

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Twigs and caviar, a little sweet, little salty. Okay, you
dip the twigs in the caviar and you at once.

Speaker 4 (14:52):
Okay, alright, So.

Speaker 5 (14:54):
When you were on that bus, who would be on
the bus with your Yeah?

Speaker 3 (15:02):
Who else would be on the bus?

Speaker 1 (15:03):
It depends on how long the stretches. If it's a
long stretch, we would all kind of ride a bus
together and have fun, maybe play drinking games. And there
was always a game. We would play a long stretch
to say, it's like a twelve eighteen hour drive and
overnight we would, you know, play a little drinking games
and you know, you stop. One of the most fun

(15:24):
things about being on the road is the truck stops.
Like you always stopped at all the truck stops, and
we always had a game.

Speaker 4 (15:31):
And the game was you had to pick the cheesiest
thing you could.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
Find at the bus stop, because there was just really
horrible looking toys, just the weirdest things. So everyone would
come back on the bus and show what they found it.
I don't always win because I could find the tackiest
thing ever. And then the other game we would play trucks.
We would put money into a fish bowl and the

(15:59):
last person to pee wins the money. So you're playing
drinking games. And I'd always win now one.

Speaker 4 (16:04):
Too because I had such a good bladder, and so yeah,
I would always be the last.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
Wow, humble brackbud. I mean, God gives you something, gave
him a good bladder.

Speaker 5 (16:16):
Now what bunk were you trying to get when you
get all these busters?

Speaker 1 (16:20):
It's a good question, Okay, So the bunk situation, well,
the first bus we ever had was a double decker,
so all the bunks.

Speaker 4 (16:27):
Were upstairs, but they were real teeny beds.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
Once we were able to spread out a little bit
and we kind of split up the buses, I always
got a bus that had like a king sized bed
in the back and I would always sleep there. So
my bedroom was in the back with a big old
king sized bed as everyone else had to.

Speaker 4 (16:44):
Sleep in a little oh.

Speaker 3 (16:47):
Yeah fan.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
But I also had to share during the day too,
because it turns into the little living room. See, everyone's
kind of on your bed the whole time until you
go to sleep, okay, And.

Speaker 5 (16:57):
Kind of tying into that, who would you consider the
and the cleanest?

Speaker 3 (17:03):
Can we just guess?

Speaker 4 (17:04):
Yeah, I guess guess who you think the cleanest and
the dirtiest.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
I feel like the cleanest it would have been maybe
j C. And I feel like the dirtiest was probably
Joey or Chris.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
Maybe maybe a tie Joe and Chris and j C.
And Justin might be a little tied too, because they're
both really and you're just right, you're just golding right.

Speaker 4 (17:25):
In the middle, You're just right.

Speaker 5 (17:27):
Yeah, little dirty, little sweet like a sour patch.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
Yeah, a little sweet, little sour.

Speaker 4 (17:33):
Any issues with getting cars sick?

Speaker 1 (17:36):
No, I don't get carsick at all. Yeah, like I don't.
I just don't get motion sickness. But this one here,
it does. I do the older I get.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
I know the justice.

Speaker 4 (17:47):
You can't ride roller coaster.

Speaker 3 (17:48):
That's so hard for me. Now, Michael asked Lance anything if.
Then Lance asked Michael anything, Okay, I don't.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
I'm a question for you. Yeah, I'm gonna go back
forth hypothetically. Yes, infencing tours again? Yeah, you've never been
on tour. No, what's the thing that's going it scares
you the most about tour?

Speaker 3 (18:13):
What scares me the most? I don't think any there.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
Are things you've heard about the road. You're like, oh,
I've heard that.

Speaker 3 (18:21):
I don't know. I think I've heard it gets wild
and crazy, and I don't. I don't. I don't conform
to those beliefs. No, I'm just kidding. No, it does.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
Nothing's scared. I mean, I think it's exciting. I don't
know what would be scary. But what a pgr you
would lose on that? Oh the p oh with peeing? Yeah,
I would have to pee a lot and.

Speaker 4 (18:41):
There's no number two on the bus. That is a rule.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
Well, I'm a rules are meant for breaking.

Speaker 2 (18:51):
I'd only go if it was like an emergency and
a medical emergency, and I'd poop my pants.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
And what are your real thoughts on our kids growing
up on the road.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
It depends how old they are. Yeah, it depends on
what they are for little?

Speaker 4 (19:03):
Sure?

Speaker 3 (19:04):
Fine, if they're like in school, then you know, I
don't want to disrupt there.

Speaker 4 (19:10):
So cool, you're not up for homeschooling on the bus.

Speaker 3 (19:14):
Again, if they're really little?

Speaker 4 (19:15):
Sure, Now, let's say they're eight years old. No, no
homeschooling because we could put them to work.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
Oh god, no, no, we cannot do that.

Speaker 4 (19:23):
They'd be good.

Speaker 3 (19:24):
Crew nould teach them a lot of child labor laws.

Speaker 4 (19:26):
They'd have to ride the crew bus.

Speaker 3 (19:27):
No.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
The only thing I guess would be stressful is having
kids on the tour bus.

Speaker 3 (19:34):
Yeah, that would be stressful. They'd have so much fun,
I know they would, But.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
They'd be riding the little bicycles everywhere thinking they own
the place with little passes.

Speaker 3 (19:44):
Okay, it'd be pretty cute.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
Yeah, okay, no, but I'm pretty Actually, no, I'm not
scared from the thing.

Speaker 3 (19:51):
It's a question I aswer you, how was your whole
hot Ones experience? But you just saw it in New
York after the VMA's still filling the hot Ones.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
It's so funny.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
If you saw the instant group text for the next
forty eight hours, it was just it's gold, gold, gold,
lots of pictures, lots of great comments. But yeah, I
mean it's It was definitely a strange first TV show
to do after twenty three years. Well, I guess we
did Ellen, But yeah, I was like, Okay, this is

(20:24):
an odd one to choose as our first show.

Speaker 3 (20:28):
No, it's a good one. I'd always said has been
the beginning. It's perfect.

Speaker 4 (20:31):
It was so because I never watched the show. I know.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
I was trying to tell you, convince you it was
a huge show, and you're like, nope, we're going on
a random show. We're eating pots off. This is Enn six,
Like it is a massive show. Lands he didn't want
to hear it. Well, I just never listened.

Speaker 4 (20:46):
You know, you don't know what's going to happen on
a show like that.

Speaker 2 (20:49):
Of course you do lots of embarrassment, but you've got
to not worry about the embarrassment part. The second start
worry about embarrassing yourself. That's when you become staged. Okay,
cares that your only people like you more if you
embarrass yourself. No one likes a button up. I'm scared
to make a mistake and start.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
My favorite thing was Joey thinking he was so tough
that he was eating pretty much the whole wing on
every hot sauce.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
And he was going through it.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
He was probably just hungry.

Speaker 1 (21:22):
I've never seen someone sweat like that. Him and Chris
were just pouring, pouring sweat.

Speaker 4 (21:28):
Yeah, I'm telling it.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
It was that number seven though, whatever something bomb who
it was, I mean it was. It's weird because the
rest they all kind of burnt in the throat, it
were the lips, but this one you didn't feel it
at all in the throat.

Speaker 4 (21:45):
You only felt it at the tip of your tongue.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
Well, that's usually where your your spicy taste buds are,
in the front of your tongue.

Speaker 4 (21:53):
Well, it lasted for a while.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
That's why I never ate something trying something super spicy.
I try not to let it hit the tip of
my tongue.

Speaker 4 (22:01):
That's Taylor Swiss and promise.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
I'm Taylor, Okay, Taylor.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
I One of my favorite or my favorite job in
the world, if it was legal, is to go around
just take people's licenses away, like nope, pull over, come here.

Speaker 4 (22:18):
Give me a license. You can't drive anymore. You're done,
Like you're done.

Speaker 3 (22:22):
Yes, this is true. He's he stated this many times.

Speaker 4 (22:26):
Like there's just some bad drivers.

Speaker 2 (22:28):
And there's just self There are lands will let you
know about it.

Speaker 1 (22:31):
They're just selfish. They don't give a left thong, meaning
like just what are you doing. There was a guy
yesterday on my Hall and Drive and he came into
my lane on the phone.

Speaker 4 (22:42):
O, Mall and drive, Like what are you doing? That's
just selfishness. That's someone who says to give get that
all out bade Yeah, sorry, sorry, who are we.

Speaker 3 (22:54):
Talking about again? Went on a tangent of drivers the
last one stroke trip to Vegas. Yeah, speaking of.

Speaker 4 (23:04):
Be there at some point me something you guys would
just love to do in Vegas.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
I love the shows in Vegas. I normally this is weird.
I don't normally let go into concerts because I always
think concerts are too long and it's like a whole
just to get to the arena or stadiums. Always such
reductions an effort. It's always more excited for me. I'm
more excited going than i'm there. I'm like, well, this
could have been thirty minutes less and now or less
like half the songs.

Speaker 3 (23:28):
I'm like, I'm gonna go to the bathroom.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
I don't know these songs, but in Vegas they're all
ninety minutes, and they all sing their most famous songs.

Speaker 4 (23:35):
And you don't have to it's all there.

Speaker 3 (23:37):
You just walk across the street, see the show, and
then you're movies.

Speaker 4 (23:41):
Give me a ninety minute movie. Yes, that's all we need.

Speaker 3 (23:44):
Yes, we don't need some block three minute hour block
bus blockbuster. Loving here.

Speaker 4 (23:49):
Living here in my twenties was different from coming now
in my forties. Well, but now I love it with
the I mean it's the best shows.

Speaker 3 (23:58):
Yeah, the residents.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
I mean, every major chef has their their restaurants here.
We saw Lady Gaga and her Jazz show, O Lady
Gaga's jash Show.

Speaker 4 (24:11):
I was a little disappointed. I didn't get pop tickets,
so I went to the jazz and I'm like, okay, yeah,
we all went oh yeah, And I thought, you know
when you're there.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
Like half the people were definitely you know, older people,
and I'm like, okay, this would be nice just relaxing.

Speaker 4 (24:26):
Oh no, it was a perfect concert. It was so
great the way she just played this character and she
was funny and just everything she's.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
Saying was incredible. Yeah, I was sorry, one of my
favorites I've ever seen, but me and Selene dia On too.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
Selene was amazing when we just saw Kelly Clarkson ago
and she was so good.

Speaker 4 (24:46):
We think deserves to have their own residency.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
Who deserves to have a residency Probably a lot of
you know, who deserves a residency is Pink.

Speaker 3 (24:54):
I was about to say Pink too.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
I would go see Pink because she would put on
a show like she's not gonna sit there and like
I'm gonna make.

Speaker 3 (25:02):
A lot of you would need to like take over
one of those sort dislay ones and stuff like that.

Speaker 4 (25:08):
I really want to perform in the new sphere.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
Any favorite restaurants specifically, I mean the favorite restaurants.

Speaker 4 (25:17):
There's ever changing, but I love, I still love What's
is it?

Speaker 1 (25:23):
Bobby Flays mets Mezza meets Mezzo?

Speaker 4 (25:28):
Is it the Grill?

Speaker 3 (25:29):
Maybe? Sure? All right. We love that place.

Speaker 4 (25:32):
I love uh.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
I mean there's Carbone now in Vegas. Good Sinatras was
really nice, Vendor Vender, pump peris we we I mean
there's so many restaurants. Literally all the Gordon Ramsey restaurants
are so good. They're also good. Every stuff has a restaurant.
I mean we come for food and shows and drinking booze.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Lance, you've definitely been here over the years.
What is one of the weirdest things you've ever seen
in Vegas?

Speaker 4 (26:02):
One of the weirdest things I've ever seen in Vegas.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
Oh, I mean I've had lots of weird experiences, like
one I'll never forget.

Speaker 2 (26:18):
It was.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
New Year's Turning nineteen ninety nine, and of course, you know,
the big song was Prince's nineteen ninety nine. You know,
it's like everyone been waiting years for it to be
nineteen ninet nine so that this song could come back.

Speaker 4 (26:32):
And uh so we're in Vegas.

Speaker 1 (26:34):
I was I think I was like, yeah, I was
like twenty years old because I wasn't even of age,
and Justin was even younger than that. But Prince invited
us to a show and we're like, oh, my god,
this is great. And it wasn't even it wasn't even performing.
It was just he was doing a New Year's Eve
party and I'm like, well, we're going to that because
obviously he's gonna perform nineteen ninety nine, and I mean,

(26:54):
that's that's.

Speaker 4 (26:55):
Where you want to be when it turns nineteen nine
nine with Prince.

Speaker 1 (26:58):
So we go and you know, we're sitting at a
table and having a good time, and it keeps going
and going, like, well, when is he going to go
on stage? He never performed. I'm like, oh, man, so
we wouldn't. He didn't perform nineteen toy none classic Prince.
And he's sitting there, you know, at a table, and
we're like, okay, well you know we're gonna we're going
to say hi to him.

Speaker 4 (27:17):
So he summons us, summons us.

Speaker 1 (27:20):
It's like I would like I would like to meet
the boys, and uh so we went over there to
his table, but then we realized there was like a line,
like a receiving line, like a meet and greyes and
we're like, I think we're good. So we left and
we're like, well, we have an hour before midnight. We
got to find somewhere so we went to Luxe or
at Raw and again Justin and I are underage, but

(27:42):
James Vanderbeek is with us, and like all the like
just most random people, uh, and so like yeah, because
Fergy was on tour with us Wild Orchid and so
we're going into Raw and James hands, you know, me
is licensed to get in, and then I handed the
license you know to Justin, you know, to get in,
and the dorman finally gets adjusted.

Speaker 4 (28:03):
He's like, yeah, Dawson's already in here, so this ain't happened.

Speaker 1 (28:07):
They were like, so they kicked us all out and
we had to ring in the new year on the
streets just outside lux Or.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
But did you have fun?

Speaker 4 (28:17):
We had a blast.

Speaker 3 (28:20):
Its memorable. Let's have a story.

Speaker 4 (28:23):

Speaker 5 (32:32):
You guys didn't pick me up as a chick.

Speaker 3 (32:34):
Any celebrity to pop.

Speaker 1 (32:35):
Into the car, Oh, I mean, I'm always gonna pick
someone like Jennifer Aniston.

Speaker 4 (32:41):
I think she would just be fun.

Speaker 3 (32:43):
You'd want Jennifer Aniston of all people to get in
the car. Why not?

Speaker 2 (32:47):
Would of all the celebrities in the world, Jennifer Aniston?

Speaker 4 (32:51):
I think she'd be fun of road trip with.

Speaker 3 (32:53):
I would say, who would be fun? I feel like
Adel would be fun. I think she had banter. She'd
be funny sing along.

Speaker 4 (33:01):
You have a good bomta, good buonta, good bonta.

Speaker 3 (33:03):
Good bonta.

Speaker 4 (33:04):
Yes, that would be great.

Speaker 3 (33:05):
That would be fun.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
Right, Oh Turkey, I'm sorry, Yeah, thank you. You're apologizing
to me for everyone to hear the.

Speaker 1 (33:20):
First We do have to apologize because, uh, we got lost,
but we did not know we were lost.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
Well we did because we were following you and we
were in we were following and I listen, yeah, but
you didn't check first. You just where your GPS was
taking you.

Speaker 1 (33:33):
By the way, Daniel Fischer was in charge. So if
you're gonna yell at someone, yell at MyD.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
No, I'm yelling at you. Okay, yelling at you. No.

Speaker 1 (33:43):
You called us on the speaker. I'm like, yeah, we
missed that one exit.

Speaker 2 (33:46):
We turned was like, you missed four excesses, and because
we were in the securities car, we had to follow
you and the security refused to veer from you. So
we're like, god damn it. The first exit, then the second,
then the third, then a fourth, and then finally the
security is like, no, I gotta follow him.

Speaker 7 (34:00):
And I was like, you turn off this exit right now.
I don't care where he's going figure it out. We
literally thought you were crazy. I'm like, we missed one
exit and we're looking at the GPS and it's taking
us right to Green Valley Ranch. So I'm like, all right, like, okay,
ignore him, we're just city.

Speaker 1 (34:15):
We're gabbing. Well, first off, I didn't know Green Valley
Ranch was an area like a whole neighbor like huge area.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
The directions were given to you. It ahead a time.

Speaker 1 (34:25):
Look, we put it in our GPS. It took us
to a random house in the middle of the Green
Valley Ranch neighborhood. Sure did not the casino, uh huh.
But you know what, it made for a good story.
And we were just gapping away catching up. We were
not We were not necking. Okay, we weren't necking at all.

Speaker 2 (34:45):
I was just trying to catch you in a lie.

Speaker 1 (34:49):
So yeah, we apologize. You were right, we were on
the wrong way. But here we are at the casino.

Speaker 2 (34:54):
We're finally here.

Speaker 1 (34:55):
I don't want to keep saying casino.

Speaker 2 (34:56):
I know who like what it was.

Speaker 1 (34:58):
I feel like I know someone in my life. This
always says casina. So I always say casina. Okay, I
think it's a very Mississippi thing.

Speaker 2 (35:04):
No, it's a you think. I don't think anyone else
Mississippi says.

Speaker 1 (35:07):
Yeah, I think they say casina.

Speaker 2 (35:08):
Okay, I'll go with that.

Speaker 1 (35:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:10):
Yeah, so here we are.

Speaker 1 (35:11):
I'm excited. You know, that was a long drive, but
it was very comfortable in my Hyundai.

Speaker 2 (35:15):
You know what it was. First of all, the car
was amazing. It drove so so smoothly, I know, like
real so because we stopped so many times, it did
not feel like it was a twenty eight hour ago
like a journey to the moon.

Speaker 1 (35:27):
Usually, I'm just one hundred miles an hour. Let's get there,
three and a half hours in there. Yeah, this was
actually very enjoyable.

Speaker 2 (35:32):
Every time we stopped, like every segment only felt like
half an hour honestly, even though it was months longer.

Speaker 1 (35:37):
Yeah, let's do it again.

Speaker 2 (35:38):
Okay, Okay, another ten years, no, next week, Okay, see
you then.

Speaker 1 (35:42):
