Azzi and Ashanti are back with a full debrief of life on and off the court. Ashanti kicks things off with the story of meeting Stephen Curry at a Unanimous Media celebration, while Azzi admits to dusting off her skates for the first time since middle school (and surviving without a fall). From there, the two break down team shenanigans — including a viral themed dress-up night, Twitch streams, and UConn football games. With Media Day officially in the books, Azzi shares what the marathon photo-and-video gauntlet looks like behind the scenes, why this year’s hit different, and how she did her own makeup for the first time. The conversation also touches on Coach Geno’s appearance on the pod, recruiting stories (including a legendary CD games mishap), and their reactions to all the women's basketball drama — from JuJu shutting it down for the year to the Liberty’s surprise coaching shakeup. Finally, Azzi gets put to the test in Who the Fudd?!* — a chaotic guessing game that proves she might not know her Derek Jeter’s from her Halle Berry’s.

Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hey, everyone, welcome back to another episode of fut Around
and find Out. I'm here with my girl a shanty
a shanty.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
What have you been up to? I've been up to
a lot of enjoying life.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
I actually had an opportunity to meet your mentor and friend,
Stephen Curry, so Unanimous had like a celebration because you know,
he has his book that came out and other like
awesome things that were happening here in New York, and
so I was able to meet him at I think
it's called Zero Bond the places. It's super nice and
exclusive and luxurious. But yeah, I got to meet him,

(00:37):
which was super dope. And he's exactly how you describe him,
like incredible but so kind and sweet and normal at
the same time, even though he's like.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
One of the best basketball players to ever live.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
So that was definitely wild and I was really glad
to be able to meet him and the Unanimous team.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
How about you? What you've been up to?

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Wait, that's so cool. That sounds like such a time
it was. I've also just been enjoying life. I just
went ice skating for probably the first time since like
middle school, and I was better than I thought i'd be.
I looked probably really unathletic, but I didn't fall and
I got better, So it was a win.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
First of all, you didn't fall, and that honestly is
a win in itself. You didn't fall because I following
that ice is no joke. I used to actually teach
ice skating lessons to like middle school kids. Really, so
you're good, I wouldn't say that good, but good enough
to teach little kids who don't know any better.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
And so okay, so good enough. But I'm not like,
I'm not that great. I'm not doing no.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
True surprises me. I feel like tall people. I just
wouldn't like, imagine a tall personal good at ice skating.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
It's because imagine falling. You see, that's a long way down. Yeah,
but I'm more of a roller skater. I definitely do
roller skating. Ice skating is a little bit scarier with
the like blade the ice.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
But I talked to little kids and that was fun,
very cool.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
I wanna need a lesson. Listen anytime, girly, it's about
to be cold anyways. So what has your team been
up to.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
The husue hanging out, enjoying life workouts. We're starting up
practices this week, So official practices we usually start a
little bit later than other people. We take our off
days at the beginning. Oh man, I'm really excited, though,
I'm super excited to get into the grind of things,
really start things up. But like I said, we've been
enjoying each other's company, enjoying workouts.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
It's been good. That's good. Listen, y'all.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
I gotta get ready because it's a long season, so
it's really important to build up that camaraderie. I saw
on social media everybody on your team dressed up like
a stud.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
I wanted a stut buzz and you guys, what were
you guys doing.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
I don't even know how that started. I think it's
just you're in the locker room and I were like,
let's have a theme tonight. We were gonna go out
to dinner, and then we planted. We made the resme
reservations too late, and there's fifteen of us. We couldn't
get I don't even remember what we ended up doing,
just hanging out, but we're like, let's dress up, let's
do something, and so we all dressed up. We all
went into Yanna and Kk's closets and dressed up and

(03:15):
hung out. It was a lot of fun, but it
was definitely funny to see some people dressed up.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
No, yeah, I was very entertained, and the switch up
is crazy. Girl, you could wear whatever.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
I looked pretty good.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
I agree. I agree. You could listen whatever you into.
You could do it. I also saw Kalise has been
streaming on Twitch. What's actually funny is I texted her.
I was like, girl, you let me know if you
need some backup.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
She gets a jacked on there. Yes, how's that been?

Speaker 1 (03:55):
So?

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Like what you guys? She will streaming you guys just
come in and join her.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Yeah. I mean, I don't really even know what twitch
streaming is. I didn't know you could, Like I thought
you had to be playing.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
I don't know. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
But she'll be like, all right, guys, I'm going to stream,
and then we'll be like, all right, let's go bother
Calise on stream. Let's go see what Claise. Everything really
just boils down to bothering Kalise and rage baiting her.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
It was really easy. It's really entertaining.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
That too, that too, but yeah, it's just fun to
mess with her.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
Oh yeah, that was a good old time and we've
been loving that. So I saw you he went to
a football game. What was that like?

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Yeah, we went to the Yukon football game. They played
ball State, I believe, and it was actually a lot
of fun. It was the first game we went to
this season and they scored a touchdown. Someone caught a
one handed pass, so it was like, it was like
a pretty good game to go to.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
Yeah, and then they we got to walk in the
field and they recognize us.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
We got you know, waved everyone. But it was fun.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
It was it was a great game to go to
and they won, so good vibes all around.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
I love that.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Let's pivot, a Zy, this is your final media day
with the team.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
How you feeling good.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
I think everything this year is gonna be bittersweet, but
I don't enjoy media of any form, so as much
as I well, like I said, bittersweet, so excited that
I don't have to do another media day, but still sad.
I was like, oh, it is kind of sad. I'm
gonna miss this, but I'm glad it's over.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
For those who don't know what a media date looks
like for Yukon or even for like women's basketball, like
tell us, walk us through what media date looks like,
Like what do you have to do?

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Tell us the whole spiel.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
So this year was a little different where Gamble is
getting redone, they're like changing the seats and doing something else.
So usually we have it in there and it's like
we do it on on a weekend off day and
it's most of the day. But this year, like I said,
it was different, So we did our photos on one day.
So that's you know, with all the different the white background,

(06:06):
blue background, colorful background, interview like voice pickups for the
John Boutron during different parts of the season. All this
is just like a bunch of different station station stations,
even checklist you got to go through, and then I
think a couple of us also had to change uniform.
So it's it was still like a good amount of time,
a few hours that you're there. I got my hair

(06:26):
and makeup done that day. My girl Haley came up
and did my hair. Who else, but yeah, so I
got my hair makeup done because I had to make
sure I looked presentable for these pictures of my last one,
of course, But we were there for a few hours
and then A few days later, we came back and
we had to do our like the video stuff, so

(06:48):
like for the like the intro video, and again something
that you think like shouldn't take that long still takes.
I think we were there for like four hours doing it.
And I was like, you know what, I don't care
how I look. It's not pictures. It'll be like a video.
It would be on the on the screen, like you're
not going able to see it. Well, so I'm not
gonna get my hair and makeup done. So I did

(07:08):
my own makeup for it. Oh, I'm kind of excited
to see how it turns out, because in the mirror
it looked it looked decent. You're makeup I did with
enough time left so that if it looked bad, I
could just wipe it off and go with the bare face.
But I was like, it doesn't look bad. I think
it looks kind of good. My teammates are hiving me up.
They could have lied to my face, but I feel
like they would have told me if I looked ugly.

(07:30):
So hopefully when you guys see the intro video, let
me know your thoughts. Because I did my makeup.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Oh, I love that. I'm proud. That's right.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
I'm actually proud of myself too, me too. Look at
you doing things that you didn't expect.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
So, speaking of pictures, Media day pictures, you had been
gone off on social media bow bow bow, back to
back Fashion week flicks, and I'm right under the all
of them, like I said I would be. But the
listeners and fans have been hounding because you know what,
they're waiting for All Star.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
Weekend eventually, eventually, you know, I just have so many
things to post right now, mm hmm, you know, like
maybe in like a week. Not no, I'm not even
gonna sit here and lie to you guys. Maybe are
we still sticking to the end of the year, Vie, Yeah, yeah,

(08:29):
no yeah, Kelly, so yeah, I heard it.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
And it's just.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
Like I had so many things to post the last
two weeks, like there was no room to fit in
All Star pictures, like you know, so more time, the flow,
the flow, the flow.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Ye surprised.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Everyone will be shocked when I'll even shock myself when
I decided to post them.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
Okay, well, they're definitely waiting, so she said here first,
she will drop them for the end of the year.
Don't ask me, Just wait, if she doesn't drop them
by January first, we will bring.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
This back up. Okay, that's fair, all right.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
So the last pod, we got to interview your coach Gino.
Super exciting, fun, crazy, We learned a whole lot and
what he's expecting of you and just like you know,
how his brain works.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
How are you feeling after that podcast? Good? Definitely? How
are you really feeling?

Speaker 1 (09:24):
I was definitely nervous going into it and very uncomfortable
and awkward. I mean, he came in a really good mood,
so he made it fun. He was easy to talk to.
I had some good answers.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
He was coach.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Essentially, he was coach, so I do. I did feel
better after because it went a lot better than I
thought it would. Yeah, that's that's about it. I knew
you'd be nervous.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
I can't imagine having to interview your head coach that
you now have to continue to have practice with and
see and work with throughout the rest of the year.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
Let you know, I had you back.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
That's why I was there because imagine asking him, head coach,
what do you think about me?

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Hey? Coach? What you know?

Speaker 3 (10:01):
And I what do you expect? It's just a it's
an it's an interesting dynamic.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
So but you did great.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
Well. It was a good thing that we did it
before this season started, because I imagine if that was
planned and right after we had a bad practice or something,
oh my goodness, I would be terrified to talk to
him about absolutely anything.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
Remember this, Remember that he was listen, he was going
in any ways. He's funny.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
He's a funny guy, and he's he just says what's
on his mind, and he can he is honest.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
I love that about him, though.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
How did you feel about him calling you reliable, someone
that you know you can count on and you show
up as yourself every day.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
To me, that is one of the biggest compliments he
could give me, because I that's one of my goals
is that I'm someone that my teammates can rely on,
that they can count on me every day and practice
and games on the court off the court, like they
know what they're going to get from me if they
need something. I just I want to be someone that
they that is consistent. So for him to call me
reliable some one of that he thinks that everyone can

(11:04):
count on definitely means a lot. And we're going to
keep it that way. Even when I start taking risks,
We're going to keep it that way. I was just
gonna say, so, like, you know, he asked you to
take risk. Has has that shown up for you yet
in practice? Or is that something you're definitely planning on
getting too. I think it's shown up a little bit
in practice. But as we, like I said, are going

(11:26):
to start really ramping things up here and this next week,
I think it'll show up. Not not, I think I
know it will show up more so I am also
excited for that.

Speaker 3 (11:36):
Did anything coach shared about NIL change the way you
think about your own journey?

Speaker 2 (11:42):
I don't think so.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
I feel like I've always thought that I was super
grateful that and I all started my first year in college,
so when making my college decision, it didn't affect or
impact anything going into that. Like I chose Yukon because
of the coaches, because of the players, because of the
legacy in their program and what they built, and money
in NIL played no part in that, and I can't

(12:05):
imagine like that was hard enough. I can't imagine money
then playing a role in that decision as well. But
I also do agree with what he said that it
just like it changes things. I feel like you're not
picking places for the right reason. And you know, for
some people that's okay, but for me, like my morals,
If I chose a school for money like that, my

(12:26):
head is not in the right place and I'm not
making the main thing the main thing. So I'm very
grateful that I was not in that position.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
Well, well said, I agree.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
That's why the transfer portal looks crazy, because it's like,
is this your real home? Is this where you really fit?
Does this system work for you? Or you know, get
into the money. But I definitely understand because that money
can be life changing.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
You know. Yeah, for some people that your purity, absolutely
that's good for them, But for me that's not mine.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
So okay, you lucky you get both a happy home paid.
So Sue Byrd actually was trying to get Gino on
the pod on her own pod, but Gino ended up
going to ours first.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
How does it feel to know that he's made an
exception for you. I'm honored. I'm actually surprised, though, I
feel like he would go on Sue's pod. I also,
he loves to talk, so don't I don't see why
he would turn down going on a podcast, especially with
someone like Sue who's so easy to talk to, and
I know he loves her, but yeah, I mean, I'm

(13:32):
honored that he can't. First, I'm just honored that he
was agreed to be on our show, and then knowing
that he came on ours before her as kind of
just flows my mind.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
People's princess.

Speaker 3 (13:43):
So I'm going to read some of the feedback we
got from the podcast with coach Gina is a.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
Good feedback and bad feedback.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
It's been honestly, really great. I've seen only good things.
So now forgive me because I won't be able to
read these names. But some of the comments were, this
was the best episode yet. I say this about every
episode that comes out. Thank you, Asy, But Around and
find Out is such a great project. Oh I got

(14:14):
four more. Agent Zenish said, holding space for supe Bird
to comment since he had denied her for years, laughing face.
Especially girl Languish Regime said, how much convincing did it
take to get Gino to do this?

Speaker 1 (14:32):
I don't know what convinced him. I really don't. I
don't know, but I'm thankful. It's so thankful.

Speaker 3 (14:38):
All right, last two, Asy is never beating the Gino's
favorite child allegations, I'm not the favorite. You definitely top ten.
That's a that's a wide top ten. I was, you know, hey,
I just listen. I just duty says. I listened, so
he can't get mad at me. Everybody else, if you're listening,

(14:59):
make sure you're listening to him, and you can also
be a favorite.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
Last one, The way Gino just left so randomly had
me cracking up. When I watched the pod back, I
literally cackled, like you can hear the headphones hit the
table where he was out.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
Can you.

Speaker 2 (15:15):
Actually I didn't watch it. I was too scared.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
I was.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
I didn't know how it was gonna turn out, so
I didn't watch it. I watched it and I listened
to it.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
He is a funny man, like just gone like all right,
y'all peace, I did it.

Speaker 2 (15:28):
He's on his own time. I respect it. Okay.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
So last piece about the Geno pod after recording, what's
the biggest thing you'll carry with you from this conversation
with him?

Speaker 1 (15:41):
M I think, I mean, I guess him calling me reliable.
It's not the first time he said it, but just
remembering that, keeping that in the back of my mind
when maybe things aren't going so well, just remembering like
everyone believes in me. But I really I just think
him being on the pod, it's.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
Gonna stick with me.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
I'm super grateful that he took the time because he
really didn't have to, and also that he came on
ours first. Just an extra little cherry on top.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
Thank you, coach.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
All Right, So it's almost that time for high school
players to start visiting your campus. Take us through what
it's like as someone who's hosting recruits, Like, what's the
first thing you do to make them feel comfortable at
your college?

Speaker 1 (16:32):
I think for me it's just talking to them, like
asking questions, getting to know them, trying to relate to
them a little bit. I feel like on my visits
that always made me more comfortable with being in a
conversation talking to them, them asking me them at least
faking like they were interested. And me when I was
in high school and I'd be like, Okay, like this
person's really nice. You're like I don't know about this girl,

(16:55):
but just yeah, showing that interest, making them feel included.
It's really easy, especially in a team like ours and
we're super close, it's easy to like feel left out
like we have. You have so many inside jokes and
stories to just kind of feel like you're on the outside.
So make them feel comfortable and bring them in nice.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
How do you balance showing them the fun part but
then also the seriousness that comes with being a student athlete.

Speaker 1 (17:17):
You see the seriousness when you watch our practices and
you watch us lift and get on court, and then
we do a lot of fun stuff with the recruits.
CD plans these super fun games and activities. Whether there's
a recruit or not. When we play CdSe games, we
get so like whether we are even in the mood
to play her games or not, it's everything super competitive.
It brings out like our in our child and people

(17:39):
just I mean not mine obviously, I'm very mature and respectable.
Everyone else starts arguing and fighting and it could be
a game of tik taktoe and people will argue over
people cheating, and so recruits definitely see like the real
side of us.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
What do your coaches expect when they pair you with
their recruit.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
I think they just expect us, like I said, to
make them feel comfortable, welcome, make sure you know we're
they're not just sitting there on their phone, like we're
including them in conversation, bringing them around, making sure that
they're hanging out and enjoying themselves, making sure they're having
a good time.

Speaker 3 (18:11):
Okay, do you remember the last time you had a
big impact on a recruise decision to come to Yukon.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
I don't think I have any stories I can really
share her.

Speaker 3 (18:21):
Well, is there anyone that's on the team now that
you hosted when they were a recruit?

Speaker 1 (18:25):
MM?

Speaker 2 (18:26):
Who did I host? I don't.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
I don't remember if KK was mine, but I remember
Ice and I drove her, Well, I drove, but Ice
was with me. We drove her to Coach's house for
dinner and we drove her back that night. She had
a good time on her visits, so did Ash who.
I did have someone their third year, I had someone.
I don't remember which one of them it was, and

(18:51):
I mean both of them ended up coming, so they
seem to have had a good time. Now I can't remember,
I think I I don't didn't have anyone last the
year before, I definitely did. Wait, who was that? That
would have been Sarah Ali Morgan and a girl who
did not come. I might have had her. Honestly, the

(19:13):
girl didn't come. I don't remember I had one of them.
But those are pretty good odds three out of four.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
I mean, whoever's supposed to be there will be there
exactly and you just want a chip, So I feel
like you're doing a great job.

Speaker 2 (19:25):
I agree with that.

Speaker 3 (19:27):
So what's the first place you take her recruit to
eat on campus?

Speaker 1 (19:31):
Well, usually the meals are pretty planned out the coaches,
Like I said, CD is very on top of things.
But usually we have well we'll have a meal with them,
usually at coach's house, but most of the time when
it's like the on campus up it'll be in our
kitchen and worth our practice facility, so we'll be upstairs.

(19:52):
Our chefs are incredible. They have like a whole spread.
You can also order whatever you want. They'll make it.
So we'll sit up there with them and their family
hang out with them. So it's like chill. It's chill
in that environment.

Speaker 3 (20:03):
What you got chefs making whatever you want. That sounds
like I would have committed.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
Our chefs are the best. They really you can tell
that they love their job and they love us. I
love that. What's one only at Yukon experience one only
at Yukon experience would definitely be CD's games. I mean,
I never I didn't have official visits, so I don't
know what that looks like at other schools, but I

(20:31):
can just say there's absolutely no way that other schools
have games like the One and only. Christine Daily does
shout out to CD.

Speaker 3 (20:38):
She really be holding it down with their Cruisis seams,
from themed activities to meals.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
She does a great job. It's she does do a
great job. Okay.

Speaker 3 (20:47):
Is there any fun around to find out safe stories
about a funny or memorable moment when a recruit came
to visit.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
Okay, I have a moment from when I was being recruited.
I was there during Eliah Boston and Haley Jones official visit.
I forget who they were playing. I think there was
a game or something that was also going to and
so we played CD's games. My family, my mom and
dad were there and these games it was like these
like plastic I don't I don't really know what they were,

(21:19):
but it was like a plastic hurdle kind of in
a sense. And my dad is a big man, and
you had to like crawl through one of them and
then like go over something else and it was like
some sort of relay. My dad broke the plastic thing
and it just like popped in like the pieces everywhere,
And that's something that I still talk to CD about
to this day. Must have been bad luck because it's

(21:41):
neither Haley worldly committed so well. I mean, but like
you said, whoever you're meant to be there, you're meant
to be there.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
So exactly exactly.

Speaker 3 (21:52):
So what kind of questions do recruits ask you on
their visit?

Speaker 1 (21:56):
I think actually, I think the funniest one that people
ask are It'll be after a practice and they're like,
are all of your practices like that?

Speaker 2 (22:03):
Do you guys always like is it always that? Because
we don't.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
We don't really run for punishment unless like he is
if we're running like we did something really bad, but
when he gets mad, there's not like a get on
the baseline suicide or whatever. We run in our drills
and when we play everything is super fast paced and
everything's full core. Everyone goes as hard as they can
the whole time. So usually it's like the are they

(22:29):
always like that? Are they always that intents? Always at
fast paced? It'll be like like how do you like it?
Or the I feel like a lot of times the
parents will ask more questions to start with at least
and like how do.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
You like it?

Speaker 1 (22:41):
How do you like the coaches like do you guys
all get along? Like what's the living situation?

Speaker 2 (22:46):
Like?

Speaker 1 (22:46):
Like the parents always they come with questions where the
recruits they really start to warm up as the weekend
goes on.

Speaker 3 (22:54):
No, yeah, I mean if they're gonna send their babies
somewhere right for four years, potentially they want to know
the real you know, oh, yes it looks nice, Yes
we win, but are people happy here?

Speaker 2 (23:05):
What is living?

Speaker 1 (23:06):
Like?

Speaker 2 (23:06):
Is practice always like this? You know, whatever's best for
their kid?

Speaker 1 (23:09):
Yeah, And my parents were the same way. And I
was definitely a quieter I mean I'm still kind of quiet,
but a quieter more shy kids. So I was nervous
to ask the kinds of questions. So that's why I
feel like now it's important for me when we have
recruits to kind of initiate that conversation because when I

(23:31):
was a recruit, I knew I never would have been like, hey,
what do you think about this?

Speaker 2 (23:35):
Do you like doing that?

Speaker 1 (23:36):
I would have been too nervous to have that conversation,
so I try to initiate that. Now.

Speaker 3 (23:41):
That's great, and I also shout out to the parents
they were holding down. If I don't want to ask,
I've been looking at my mom life. Please please help me.
So we're gonna pivot. The w NBA Finals is hot
right now. How are you feeling about that?

Speaker 2 (23:58):
There have been some.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
Really good games in these series, so it's been a
lot of fun to watch. As a big Nofiza fan,
I was really upset to see her get hurt. That
kind of broke my heart. Butther than that, I feel
like the games have just been fun to watch because
I feel like you can't there's so many good teams
now that you can't really predict who's gonna win.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
So I agree.

Speaker 3 (24:20):
All the games have been super tight lately, like really close,
exciting to watch.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
So, I mean, who knows. I know one thing.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
It won't be a back to back because my Liberty
are out. So we're gonna have a new champion this
year and it's going to be It's gonna be fun
and I can't wait for it.

Speaker 1 (24:39):
Yeah, it's gonna be good.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
So now it's time for what the fud of the
week as you guys know, what's the fud of the
week is something that happened this week.

Speaker 2 (24:54):
I made us say what the fuck? So asy, what
do you have? What the fud of the week?

Speaker 1 (25:03):
My with the fud of the week is Juju announcing
that she's out for the season. Like for me, that
wasn't of what the food, but what the fud is
more so people other people's reaction. I feel like there
was a lot of people who are shocked and surprised
that she's gonna be out, which I don't know where
that confusion would come in unless you're someone who has
no idea what it's like to have a major injury

(25:26):
to your ACL and come back from that. That's not
something you can just rush and come back playing full
force from in six months. So I think she made
the right decision because I mean, it's hard to come
back mid season, but to really be able to dedicate
this time to herself and her rehab, it's going to
be really important. So I think that was a really

(25:46):
smart decision for her.

Speaker 3 (25:47):
Absolutely, and well wishes did you do? You know both
of us when we tore our acls, so we completely
understand the work and my body and soul that has
to be locked in to come back, so we wish
a speedy and full recovery to her. My, what the
fun of the week is Sandy getting let go from

(26:08):
the New York Liberty.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
That was crazy when that news hit. I was shocked.

Speaker 3 (26:14):
Yeah, I mean so I've heard both. Like some people
are like, oh, you know, they understood, maybe because they're
coaching stuff.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
I'm like, she just won a championship.

Speaker 3 (26:24):
Yeah, it's hard around here if you win a championship
and then the next year we make it to the playoffs.
But you know, we didn't get passed i think the
first round. But still I think that's that's really hard.
The coaching is hard enough, and so it's really rough
out here. And I definitely was surprised to hear that
she was let go. So that's definitely not what the

(26:47):
fun of the week. Okay, so we're gonna get into
some fun and games. So we have a new game
that we're trying out. It's called Who the Fun. So
in this game, there are if you are listening, I'm
gonna give you guys hints. I'm gonna describe the person
and then I'll eventually tell you after we give Asy
a chance to guess.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
If you're watching, the pictures will pop up for you.

Speaker 3 (27:08):
We're playing this game because we're not sure Asy's gonna
be able to guess who these people are.

Speaker 2 (27:14):
You guys have no faith in me. I have little favor.
It's okay, here we go.

Speaker 3 (27:20):
