Speaker 1 (00:00):
Rabes thinks he's still the player.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Coach just blows the whistle and just starts screaming to everyone,
get out of here.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
We're able join the fight to break it up? What Rabes?

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Could you imagine Bill doing that? Welcome to Dudes On Dudes.
I'm Join Edelman and I'm Rob Gronkowsk, and.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
This is the show where your favorite dudes talk about
their favorite dudes.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
We're talking July m paid a visit the Patriots training camp,
the NFL season predictions, and the NFL preseason is kicking
off right around the corner. Then we wrap it up
with the Chillis Dude of the Week, presented by Course Life.
Let's Go.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Dudes On Dude is a production of iHeartRadio, Jules.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
What's going on with your neck? What happened right there?

Speaker 1 (00:44):
What is that? Like?

Speaker 2 (00:46):
What's that called? That?

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Little?

Speaker 2 (00:47):
It's not a band aid? Decision? Mark that's coming up?
What happened?

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (00:52):
The bandage? What?

Speaker 1 (00:53):
What's what's going on? What's going on? I had tell
every I had a disc replacement surgery on my C
sixty seven vertebrae. So since like since I've been playing,
I had I had my shoulder redone right into my
going into my final year. Remember when I had the

(01:14):
ac joint. They fixed that and I started getting pain
in the back of my my shoulder or back of
my shoulder. From there on, I always had kind of
a little ache. And uh, it's going off. For like
five years, I've been bitching and complaining about my shoulder.
I keep on thinking, Ah, it's just because this goddamn
shoulder reconstruction surgery. Finally go see Neil latrosh out in LA.

(01:38):
He's the shoulder guy, and he goes, this ain't your shoulder,
it's your fucking neck. So going I'm like, what do
you mean it's my neck? He goes, well, you know
there's a bunch of nerves that hit up on your neck.
They could shoot signals down to your tricep, your hand,
which I was starting to get my hand numb. My
tricep was starting to tingle. And I wentley finally saw him,
got an MRI and they're like, yeah, you have a

(01:59):
full degenerator disk space whatever we need to get you.
How's your pain And I'm like, I'm in kind of pain,
but not a lot of pain. Anytime I drive or
I sit and do nothing that's kind of when I
feel it. When I'm active, it kind of warms up.
So I went on protozone and it. You know, they
put me on a steroid, which is like an oral steroid.

(02:21):
You take like six pills and five four three two
one to try to get the inflammation down. We do that.
It feels better, and I go and do that goddamn
movie A movie in Atlanta.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
A movie, a movie, not that movie, but a movie,
a movie, a movie.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
And I was there. I took a flight to Atlanta,
and Atlanta's a sneaky far flight from California. It's sneaky far.
It's a sneaky four hour It's not like, you know,
I thought we were going to Texas or something. You
get two and a half, you're there. I sleep weird
on the way back, and I wake up and like
my neck is like on fire or shoulder blade and

(03:01):
is on fire. And so go get a fucking epidural,
go to Europe, and then all of a sudden, my
tricep turns off, and like I'm like, oh shit. So
I go and see you know, uh, doctor Bay, he's
the next specialist out here. And he basically says, yeah,
we got to get this thing operate on asap, because

(03:22):
the longer that nerves off your disc probably is you know,
it's on a motor nerve. The longer that's off, the
longer it's going to be to get it back. And
so I find out literally Friday that I about this,
and they're like, we got to get you in like asap.
I get the surgery yesterday Tuesday, and UH feel pretty great.

(03:42):
I'm pain free. I just can't twist my neck. But
you know, here in the nuthouse, we podcast hurt. Okay.
You know I played with broken feet, broken broken arms,
torn root meniscus. I can fucking I can talk with
a bad net.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Jules, You're a tough sob. I've seen you play through
so many injuries while you played out on the football field,
and now I see you podcasting through an injury as well.
You're a beast on the field off the field. That's
why you'll always be a legend. People got to understand
going through that pain as well and dealing with it
on a daily basis, and you never let it stop you,

(04:22):
just like you didn't let it stop you out on
the football field. And that's what made you such a
great football player. You got to fight through adversity in
order to be a great football player. You're never going
to be one hundred percent in a game, you know
while you're playing. But you gotta find ways to fight through.
You gotta find ways to dig deep and to be
able to pull out and come through for your teammates.

(04:44):
And you're here doing that today, Julian, you just had
surgery twenty four hours ago and you're still here. You're
still showing up, You're still spinning knowledge. And also I
just want to say, welcome to the disc Degeneration Gamel
Degeneration Disc Generation disc Degeneration. Yes, I've had yes, because

(05:08):
we're representing our disc right there. Oh my god, degeneration disc.
I've had three back surgeries in my career. Uh, you
had a disc replacement spine.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Any spine you gotta spine is If you're any spine injury,
you could be in degeneration DISC.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
There's a lot of people in the Degeneration disc club
as well. I know a lot of guys. Uh, and
it's a special club.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Now. I'm glad we Jack is definitely in degeneration. I
think he's like literally pulled up by by. Jack might
be the founder. Jack is the founder of the Degeneration disc. Also,
I gotta, I got, I gotta, I gotta let everyone
know I set a record.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
What was the record?

Speaker 1 (05:51):
I set a record for the fastest dip out of surgery.
I took a dip as soon as I woke up.
I looked at the nurse. I was like, can I
make the record for the fastest tip out of surgery?
She and she goes, what, No, you can't. How fast
was it? Well? Then I looked at Ryde and said,
give me my dip. He's like here, I think it

(06:15):
was probably I don't know. You know, you're still kind
of weary. I don't know the time ride? What was?
How much time was it? He's shaking his head. After
five minutes, five minutes after anesthesia wore off. And then
how long did you keep the dip in for? I
kept it in probably like eight hours? Eight hours? Yeah,

(06:35):
after so good it was in. Forgot it was in.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
But you might be the first one to ever pull
that off.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
I think I'm telling you broke record. But whatever, we're good,
so let's get into it. But speaking of it, they
baned fucking smelling smelling salts, which I could I don't know.
That sucks.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
It's stupid, kind of stupid. I mean, what was the reasoning.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Well, because they say because if you have a concussion,
it can wake you out of the concussion or something.
It's something to do with head stuff, which you know,
like it is what they put in front of your
nose when you're knocked out to wake you up. So
you know, I don't know. I feel bad for the
boys because we used to do it every I mean

(07:22):
remember Tom would what would Tom do? Before every game?

Speaker 2 (07:25):
You put a couple of the smelling sauce. He break
them in half and then put them in a cop
so that it makes it more concentrated. And he sniffed the.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Cop and cup. Boom, you just passed around spot. It's
like everyone hitting the joint. Hey man, hit it. Let's go.
We're about to go to war. Let's go. Bam bam
bam bam bam. Man. That sucks, man, I remember, I
mean James devlin Us like he used to bring a
box of smelling salts in the weight room and before
every time he would go up, he would hit a
small assault just to get hammered. Not hammered, but it

(07:54):
just gives you a little crazy.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
How strict are they gonnaform or the band guys?

Speaker 1 (08:02):
Are guys gonna be You can grab.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Them in your pocket. You can walk into the bathroom,
you know, pretend you're taking a number two and just
be sniffing smelling salts.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
Oi, do they have a test to know if you're
on a smelling salt?

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Yeah, there's no it.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Is there gonna be like a spotter? We have a
head spotter. Now there's a fucking smelling set.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Is it gonna be like a COVID spotter if you
weren't wearing your mask inside the building, that he was
gonna come find you and tell you to put the
mask back on. So is that kind of gonna be
the same thing? Someone just looking around spotting to see
if there's any salts, anyone has them in their pocket,
anyone sniffing them in the bathroom, And if he finds
you a cup, bam, you're in trouble. Right on the spot.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
It's gonna be a full like prison. Guys are gonna
be sitting around like you think the fellows aren't gonna
be smelling those salts. Are gonna be like passing them
off and like like a little handshakes and just.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
It's understandable, like the reasoning behind it, because the NFL
does preach, you know, let's lower the concussion rates and
make player safety a high priority. So I understand what
they're doing. But it's freaking smelling salts. You got me,
it's smelling salts. How about maybe if you had a
concussion in the last you know, three weeks, or you

(09:13):
just got one, then smelling salts are banned from you.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
They gotta find they get like, if.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
You're totally healthy, smelling salts should be totally acceptable.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
I don't see. I don't know this scientific backing behind
why we probably shouldn't use it. It probably is like
killing your brain cells immediately when you're sniffing it.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
It can't be good for you. I mean, I literally
just want true sniffs. You know, every other day is
not bad moderation.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
I mean I only found out because you know, I'm
in post op watching inside training camp and fucking Kittle
and they're they're at the Niners and Kittle goes on
he's not even in an interview. He comes up. He's
like they're being in the smelling salts, which I was like, man,
that's crazy that's gonna suck because like I don't know,
it's I mean, there's gonna be something now, don't The

(10:02):
rappers now have like the little vix pop smells. Guys
gonna be vixen. You know, the little vic sniff the sniffs.
Have you seen those?

Speaker 2 (10:10):
I've never seen those. One.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
Guys now have like little chapsticks that smell like that
smell like vic vix and they smell it. Those those
are like super popular right now. So guys just gonna
go to that.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
What's in there? Menthol and camphor? Yeah right, yeah, mm hmm.
It's a menthol that that gets you going.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
Maybe everyone just maybe this is a big Maybe that's
a big play for vix vapor Rub. Maybe the NFL
has a fucking deal with vix vapor Rub and they're like,
you can't use this, you have to use this.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Possibly, possibly the NFL always has tricks up their sleeves.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
We gotta see what Kittle does, because I can't see
Kittle just going cold turkey, no, no, no freaking smelling salts, Like,
I what do you for a game zero?

Speaker 2 (11:03):
I was never really a big smelling salt guy. I
would do him because, like like you said, Tom would
be handing, you know.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
Passing the pressure.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
But like it never not like not you know, affected
me in a in a negative way. So I didn't
care give me that and I just sniff. It's not
it's not like it just like I sniffed in and
I was like running around like like a monkey with
no who's that Colombian? Yeah, Pablascobar and his crew. It

(11:31):
wasn't like that, Like I sniff and I'd be like,
all right, like some cobwebs maybe fell off, you know,
uh maybe a little bit clear right there, But it
doesn't like wake me up like that.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
That It was just to do. My daughter does a
little soccer move called the maradonia. She does a little spin.
She goes, Dad, look at my maradonia. Ah, they hurt
my neck. The FDA noted potential negative effects from ammonia
inhalence use. What is is that AI's AI's also have

(12:07):
the potential to mask certain neurological signs and symptoms, including
potential signs of concussions. That's what it is. Well that sucks.
I went to Pat's camp.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
How is that, Jules? What was that?

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Like?

Speaker 2 (12:25):
What's what?

Speaker 1 (12:25):
How?

Speaker 2 (12:26):
What's the feel between? Because you went to Pats camp
obviously when you were retired, coach Balichick was still a coach.
You went to Pats camp when head coach Drawn Mayo
was there as well, which was last year, and now
you're at Patriots camp with head coach Mike Rabel leading
the way. What was the feel this year compared to

(12:46):
those other two head coaches and how did they look?
More importantly, how did they look as well?

Speaker 1 (12:54):
I thought they looked pretty good. I went and watched
O line coach Doug Monroe had the boys working.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
I feel like Doug Monroe is like kind of a
steal for Dog Maroon.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
Doug Maroon. I knew you were saying it right, Doug Moon.
I'm gonna say it wrong, Doug Moron. I'm on painkillers, okay, yes, yes, okay,
I'm on painkillers literally whatever. But I like Doug Moroon.
Josh Josh looks like he has the offense going. It
seems like there's a lot more cohesiveness. Uh this year.
They look energized. I think Drake looked really good. I mean,

(13:31):
he he looked, he didn't look like he just he
was making it look like easy, you know what I mean,
which that's a sign of him looking good. His operational
like getting the play in, getting the personnel groups in
getting the play called identifying the defense, get you know,

(13:51):
getting the cadence off, changing protection, knowing where our sighted
like he had all that stuff. Looked very good. The
Henderson kid out of the backfield looked very good. U
second round pick, second round pick out of Ohio State,
had a couple of big plays. Looks smart, looks hungry.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
Uh they does he remind you of as a running
back James White a little bit.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
He's he's taller, he's a little taller, but he can
do a lot of that stuff. He can do that stuff.
He's taller than you know, a sweet Feet or a Verene.
Verene was kind of a little taller and k Falk
was a little you know, he's five. I feel like
he was taller what's his height? A little lankier too, maybe,

(14:34):
but he was really good. You know, the energy of
practice was good.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
What was the vibe?

Speaker 1 (14:41):
Like the vibe they had a swagger I feel, you know,
and that comes because the quarterback he's going into his
second year and he knows what's going on.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
Henderson's five eleven.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
Faulk is five to eight. Yeah, he's five eleven, but
he's a tall five eleven, one of those five elevens
that's like really kind of six foot, but he's not.
So I mean, it was fun. The fans were out.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
What was what was the fan atmosphere like? Were they
all excited? Everyone up on their feet, Yeah, cheering whenever
a pass was completed, all that good stuff.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
It was. It was, you know, it was it was
getting there. It was getting there.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
Like they're excited about the team, but a lot of.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
The love Drake too. Excited. Drake's the guy they love. Drake.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
Drake is the guy where they're still Outaman Jerseys. Oh yeah,
they're still Eddie. That's what I'm talking about.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
Here's Gronky's That's what I'm talking about. We're still loved.
We loved you guys. We love you guys too. I
don't think there's there's a couple. There's a couple of Brady's.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
Just a couple. I bet not too many.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
Well, they don't want to hurt they they I think
it's a little sensitive for the new quarterback, like for
the fans, and I think they're trying to get around
the kid. And I don't know if they want the
kid to see that they're weren't twelve because they want
the kid to be the the new twelve. That makes sense.
But it was fun, you know, it was it was

(16:04):
cool to go to this year's compared to last year's
because now I could I saw the system there running
and you could I could do plus minus system in
my head for each guy instead of like last year
when they're running that they were running a completely different
offense West Coast, I didn't know what was going on.
So like for me this year, you know, just knowing
the offense and seeing how they they executed, I was like, man,

(16:28):
you know a lot of guys making plays. Pop Douglas
made a couple of plays six and nine. Baker and
Booty they made a couple of plays. They missed a
couple of plays too, But you know, they have potential
to be a competitive football team and that would be
a success. You know, you got to manage your expectations
when you had four wins last year.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
How is Josh McDaniel's doing. Is he's running the same
offense that he ran when we were there, running a.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
Lot of the same stuff but also using similar similar
But you know, you know how the offense would always
kind of change according to who was healthy and who
was playing. So like they're still trying to figure out
who's there guys, and what's what guy they can lean on.
And that's just you know, and at this point, what
what guy can do?

Speaker 2 (17:13):
What what situation that he thrives and what situation the
guy doesn't thrive in?

Speaker 1 (17:18):
What spot he's he thrives in what you know, our
best personal what you know they were they were the
personnel groups were were flying, So there's they're hitting a
lot of those. I don't want to get too much
in depth because I don't want to, uh, you know,
give anything away. But I thought they looked I thought
they looked like a professional football club, and that's what
you want to look like. You know. It was it

(17:39):
was no one was on the ground. It was a
smooth practice. Everyone's got excitement. Rabel. Rabel's got high energy.
He's he's around everywhere. He's he's in the offensive drills,
banging with dudes. It was fun. Saw the busting with
the boys. Guys they were cool because plus Bussell, they

(18:00):
were sick. They you know, they got they were doing
their show over there. Walk in to practice, Rabel's doing
busting with the boys before practice. I go, Rabes, what
would you have said if if the head coach was
doing a podcast before practice when you were playing, what
did he say? He ended that, He ended it right there.

(18:20):
He goes, Oh, I gotta go, guys, I gotta go.
I think I think I got up. I think I've
rabeled them. I think I've rabeled Jules put on the
spot busted someone's balls.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
It's a different era, though, Man, it's a different era now.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
You know. It felt it felt similar to ours, with
like a younger evolution of authority, which I think. You know,
I'm excited for him. I'm really excited for the Patriots
this year.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
Well, most importantly, how did the wide receiver room look
I didn't.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
I didn't get to I wasn't in the wide receiver room.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
I mean, like not the actual room. But how did
the wide receiver group look out at practice?

Speaker 1 (18:59):
Pop? Pop Douglas. He looks good. Diggs made some big plays.
He's he's he's looking good for what he's he seven
months that's what's crazy. Yeah, he's seven months out of
ACL surgery and.

Speaker 2 (19:11):
He's out there doing what he's doing now. That's impressive.
He looks very good for that. I feel like he's
gonna get better as a year ago goes on as well.
Like just to be seven months and already out there
making some plays, like you're just gonna keep amping it up.
I remember that the same thing with my ACL surgery.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
When I came back.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
I played about ten plays the first game, like fifteen
plays the second game. You know, I was getting my
feet wet, and then you know, like twenty plays a
third game, and then all of a sudden, it just
clicked and then I just started dominating and then played
every single play again from there on out. So you
gotta get your feet coming back from an ACL injury,
especially had a scale position.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
I think the hardest thing to get back when you
have the ACL is the endurance stringth Like you can
get and do your stuff like one out of ten
times when you used to you used to be able
to do like ten out of ten times, or you
could do like four out of ten. You just can't.
You die. But the longer load you have and the

(20:09):
more your body's building up, Like I say the same
thing when I came off mine. When when I came
off mine, like week eight is when I hit all right,
we're back, and you know that was like eighteen months
for me. So like he's already I feel a head
of schedule. He looked pretty good. He looked pretty good.
Matt Collins Mac Collins. He uh, he's gonna be a

(20:32):
good physical, dominance player out there, like one of the
strong receivers that they could do a lot of the
blocking with him. He could be a good red red
area target. He's big, he's physical. What about well Campbell?
Will Campbell?

Speaker 2 (20:44):
I watched him pick. Yeah, he looked good, but he
looked good. Big guy in personally, big guy. He's big guy, athletic.
How's that attitude?

Speaker 1 (20:55):
Mean?

Speaker 2 (20:56):
I think that's his best thing? Nice guy but meant no,
he's like a.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
He's a country bumpkin dude that like like will die
for his quarterback. I mean he said it, you know
he his attitude for being like the fourth pick is insane.
Like that's what you want. That's that's a building block
of character that you want to go into your football team. Like,
he's just all about the team. He wants the team

(21:21):
to do well. He's willing to do anything for the
coaching staff for him to do his best job, Like,
that's what you feel. I don't know. I was only
there for one day, but that's what I felt when
I was watching him play. He takes in coaching, which
you know that's a big thing for a top five pick.
You know, a lot of these guys think they got
all the answers. You know, he's taken the coaching, him

(21:43):
and Doug Moron. I went and watched the lineman for
a while. They were doing some really good drills on
the pass offs because it was a padded practice, so
they have to take advantage of this day because there's
only eight padded practices for training camp or something like that.
It's crazy, but I I will say I didn't get
to watch the defense that much. I didn't get to

(22:04):
watch the defense as much as I wanted to. You know,
when you go to the practices, it's fucking like so
many politics and shit. You gotta go say hi to people.
I'm really there to try to watch the shit, and
you know, you got to talk to someone here, You
talk to someone there, and you know, all of a
sudden you're sitting there. You know, the fans are saying,
hell dog, edil nut, I'm here in edel Nut every
two seconds. That's everyone calls me a lot. It's hard

(22:27):
and I'm just trying to polize. I'm trying to analyze
Dom Well.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
For all your Patriot fans out there, I just want
to say, if you want an update how the Patriots
are looking, Julian just broke it down for the last
twenty minutes, all about the offense. Of course, he didn't
have enough time to break down the defense, even though
he would if he was there for two days. But
that was a great description from all the way from

(22:53):
Josh McDaniels.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
No turnover, may, no balls on the grind.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
Thank you Jewlish for that. Patriot fans, listen to Julian's
breakdown over the last twenty minutes. It's legit. If you
need an update of what's going on, tommyts it was good, Tommy,
it was.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
It was number one.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
Beat writer Jewels, Mike Reese Jewles. Who's Mike Rease? Mike Grease,
I love you. You're Mike reas big piece. But that
was Mike Reese Jewels right there. You gotta get on
his level. Mike Reaes, I love you. I didn't get
to say hi to Mike. He was too busy fucking
getting insider information. He's a big show.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
I saw, I saw a bunch of other people. It
was good, it was fun. They got joint practice this
week right now, right Versho Commanders. That'll be a good
measuring stick. That'll be some good good. Uh you know
what I heard? I heard though, I don't know if
they're I don't know.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
I can't what about this. I never really met Rabel before,
just super quick for like four seconds, having the event
actually that NFL Honors. It was at a Super Bowl.
I've I've heard, you know, a lot of great things
about him, but like, can you explain this because like
his personality, because yesterday, you know, and training camp, he

(24:09):
was bleeding from his face because he broke up a
fight and joint practices between the Patriots and the Commanders.
Whoever was fighting. He jumped in the pile to break
it up and got hit and his face started bleeding.
Like can you just gribe like what that means for
the Patriots organization and the team?

Speaker 1 (24:30):
I know, I really can't. I don't think I've seen that,
have you ever?

Speaker 2 (24:33):
Yeah, that's never been seen before. He's coach just blows
the whistle and just starts screaming at everyone, get out
of here, Get the fuck out of practice.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
You're done for today. Rabel joined the fight to break
it up. What rabes. Guys got juice, Guys got juice.
He's got balls. He got balls and juice and he
and he still looks the part.

Speaker 2 (24:53):
He's gonna he's gonna feel it one day though, he's
gonna try to break up a fight and he's gonna
mess with the wrong lineman and other teams. Well, didn't
he get by Will Campbell? That's why we drafted him,
get tossed. He's gonna feel it. He's gonna like he's
gonna pop a disk in the back or something. Words
mm hmmm, yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
He'll don't.

Speaker 2 (25:10):
Yeah, he'll join the Degeneration disc club. We want him.

Speaker 1 (25:14):
So how did the fight? What's the report? Scuffle? Scuffle?
How did it happen? Henderson got a scuffle with someone.

Speaker 3 (25:20):
There's no footage yet, but Rabel went in there, Will
Campbell went in and there pulled him out, and then
it was just seeing he here. He is banded up,
banded up, and you can see him on this other picture.
He's like got a rag that he's like whipping the
blood off his face. It's breaking news. Fucking Rabes loves that.
He loves it. He does having a little blood on
his face. This guy, he's down and dirty.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
Did you watch the first episode of Hard Knocks?

Speaker 2 (25:44):
I did not. I did not, but I heard about
it Buffalo Bills, my hometown.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
Josh Allen is pretty good. It's pretty you know what.
But anytime I watched a Hard Knocks, I'm I'm like
any of everyone else, I'm like, this team looks so good.
They're gonna they're gonna have a They're gonna win it all.
Josh Allen is a fucking savage.

Speaker 2 (26:04):
I read reports all online. On Twitter, slash Act said
it was kind of boring though, compared to.

Speaker 1 (26:08):
The Yeah, but I like it because I'm getting to
You're getting to see the end of the end of
the other team. Like, and this is a winning team.
This ain't some chicken shit team that you know just
got the first pick or this or that. This is
a team that has been very good for a long time.
Five divisions in a row, right, this is their fifth

(26:30):
division and champion in row last year. You know they
this has been a team and it's been cool to
get a little insight of I don't really. We don't
see a lot of Josh Allen, like the inside and
how he practices and how the team looks, and you know,
it was a lot of Josh Allen. But I was entertained.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
I mean Haley Steinfeld.

Speaker 1 (26:53):
Yeah, of course they had to bring her in. They
brought her in. They brought her in, just a little get.
They got her on the red carpet talking about her man.
She's like, yeah, he's at the helm She is at
the helmet and bills. She said, she's looking out for her.
They yeah, they do. They have to. They have to. No,
but uh, those old helmets look so fucking cool. They

(27:14):
wore the retro helmets in the stadium practice. I like McDermott.
Mc dermott, he's a remember didn't he have the Taliban
thing once? He I could tell where. You know, he
had a good heart, probably from trying to make that reference.
He's a very He's like, uh, he's one of those

(27:35):
guys that's always talking about mindset, like some Navy seal ship,
you know, that wrestler kind kind of guy. Mm hmm.
I like that guy. There wasn't a lot of him,
but I think he's gonna have a monster year number.

Speaker 2 (27:46):
Ten, who's gonna be the unsung hero of Hard Knocks
for Buffalo.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
But I don't think we've gotten that far yet. We
haven't had any of the younger guys that they haven't
given you that storyline where like the young guy on
the fence about to make the team.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
Episode like three war could be this one.

Speaker 1 (28:01):
They could build it this next one, you know, where
they follow like the undrafted rookie and his girlfriend to
Minnie golf, and like they golf and he's just sitting
there talking about his job of what he probably will
go do if he doesn't make the team, and she's
over there like, don't worry, you're gonna make the team, baby,
And then they go back and coach says, give me

(28:21):
your playbook, and and head coach wants to see you.
And then you know, he goes and does that second
job or he makes a team, and or he makes
a team and then he's the guy. And then the
girl starts crying. I knew, I knew you're gonna make this.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
I believe it since college days.

Speaker 1 (28:41):
Oh don't marry me. It was it was cool. It
was cool. I thought, what what? Oh? Is White still
on a team? Is that is trdave is White?

Speaker 2 (28:56):
Right? I think that was the guy I elbow dropped.
Oh that is yeah, you elbow draft. That's why you're
bringing him up right now.

Speaker 1 (29:02):
No, he was their first round pick in seventeen, so
we used to have to play him a few times.
He's he's on the team. Their their young corner that
they drafted in the first round got banged up. So
you saw that, LCL I heard, I think, uh, but
it was cool to see. You know, Tredavious White was
a first round pick for them ten years ago, damn

(29:22):
near nine years ago. Now they got a first round corner,
and it was cool to see his relationship with the
young corner trying to help him. That was cool.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
I saw a lot about Dion Dawkins drifting. Oh yeah,
what's the about Dion Dawkins.

Speaker 1 (29:37):
Yeah, he's he's got a drift club in Buffalo that
like on his off days, which doesn't seem that relaxing,
Like he's like fully like engaged.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
For seeing Like did he go to the University of Georgia?
Did he he had to a temple? Oh, Temple, mac Daddy.
I think I knew that too. We've we've hung out
a couple of times.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
But he but the crazy thing is he's he's drifting
and he's fucking really good at drifting. He Tokyo drift style.
But he's got his like two year old kid in
there with the helmet, like he's taking his little three
little kids getting them there, like daddy, can we go
drifting with you? And he's like yeah, I get in
and he's like drifting with his little kids. I've immediately
wanted to go and drift with my kid afterwards, it

(30:21):
was dude, look at him. That's him. He's fucking good.

Speaker 2 (30:24):
So that's that's at an actual like race.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
And he's doing it one handed and ship yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
I like, it's not like they're just out on No,
it wasn't like this.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
This is him. He got it cool. I like that.
But his kids in there with them. He's like two
year old he's and the little kids like going good time.
Look look, look, look he's a beast. That's some good
ass fucking dad kid time though, that's a fun.

Speaker 2 (30:52):
That's that's some conditioning little a little man.

Speaker 1 (30:56):
He's like, damn, that was about there to.

Speaker 2 (30:57):
Be able to go that fast and turn that fast
you get like yeah, and like it actually brings your
conditioning to a whole other level if you can handle that. Oh,
he's definitely got you know why he's such a beast.
But it was that was a fun scene. That was like,
if you think about it, that was a sixth scene.
That was a fun That was a fun hard knocks. Honestly,
I'm a sucker for the hard knocks. I love watching

(31:18):
football slow motion and getting an inside look at at
fucking teams. But this is this is a cool one
because you're getting to look at the bills. And then
they showed the new the new stadium.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
Showing Josh Allen. Josh he's got like his pencil, he's
like basically designing it and ship He's like, yeah, I
like this or not? I don't like this? Where's hot to cold?
To we're gonna be? I mean, it was a fun
experience to watch. Yeah, they were talking about the sauna.
He goes, is a sauna gonna be hot enough?

Speaker 2 (31:46):
Joels Joe's you're spoiling it for me. Yeah, I still
got to watch it, but I don't even have to
watch it. No, you're telling me every single time. But
he talks about the sauna keep it going though I
like it.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
And you know for a fact that just like we
in NFL SNA rooms, guys are putting are cranking these
things up to like to eighty they're putting all this
water on it more like.

Speaker 2 (32:10):
Eighties.

Speaker 1 (32:11):
But regardless they have We had the two, We had
the two machines and ours an extra big, right, But
because of what all the guys do to get it
pumping so hot, you go through the machines at like
like we had a new machine every year because you're
not supposed to put water like guys are putting like
little ice cubes on them and it drips on it
because you're you're you're manipulating the heater to think it's cold,

(32:33):
but so it pumps out more heat so it overworks
the thing. But guys are in there, you know what
I mean. So it was funny to hear him talk
about is the sauna going to be hot enough? Because
we used to complain, remember sona aint getting hot because
we probably blew the engine. So it's it's funny how
everyone has the same kind of bitchings. What was the
most amount of guys that you ever had a son

(32:56):
a session with a good one.

Speaker 2 (33:01):
No, it's a four real question. I mean you we
would stuff everyone in and like if there's standing room
and there was like only room for one more person,
you would somehow figure it out to get that one
more person in the sauna room.

Speaker 1 (33:14):
Yeah, and we would probably I would say, I've been
in there with like nine guys, ten guys.

Speaker 2 (33:19):
Probably may to fit eight comfortably. Yeah, you get nine
or ten in there uncomfortably. And you know who the
you know the gatekeeper is. Who's the gatekeeper that was
always in there getting it warm?

Speaker 1 (33:33):
Brandon Bolden, Brandon Bolden, Brandon Bolden gatekeeper. You always see him,
sauna master. You know these fellas is not ready yet.
Don't come in. It's not ready yet. He would stop us.
I gotta get it hot way though. He doing his
little tricks and two feet of ice, two feet of
ice top of the engine. Yeah, he would get ice.

(33:54):
He would he would sit there and he'd get little
balls of ice, and he'd make balls of ice and
he'd just put him on there per so a drip
at a certain rate, and then he would fucking spray
the walls down with hell of water so it gets
a humid. And then he would get the town. He'd
whip it over his head for a hell along. He's
I went up, I get this ship and that's a hot.

Speaker 2 (34:14):
It's crazy, Sna Stasha Sash. Always after practice too, always
not ever before practice, always after after.

Speaker 1 (34:24):
We'll be right back after this quick break was back
in Boston, Rob And how was that? It was amazing?
Went to uh I went. I went to Dorchester for
a burger someplace on the Something Hill commune. Well, let's
hear about that burger now it was Something Hill. But
everywhere I was going, people you know what they were
talking about burger time. There was a little burger time.

(34:47):
But you know what they're talking about?

Speaker 2 (34:48):
What's that?

Speaker 1 (34:49):
They said? He hany tickets to the live show? Oh,
live show?

Speaker 2 (34:55):
What did you say?

Speaker 1 (34:56):
I think we got like half bp PD going BPPD
Boston Police Department. You know, I got a couple guys
in the inn and there. You know. They said, there's
gonna be a showing of the cops in the live show,
which will be fun. Everyone was talking about. Everyone's like
excited about it.

Speaker 2 (35:14):
Everyone is excited about it. Live show is coming up
August twenty eighth. Just a few seats left up for grab, sales,
so get your tickets at ticketmaster dot com. We got giveaways,
we got historic guests locked in, and I'm not even
sure who the guests are yet, but that's okay. I
want to be surprised as well. Possibly a wheel may

(35:35):
be involved, and a lot of other surprises as well.
So mark your calendars eight pm, August twenty eighth at
the MGM Music Hall in Boston, and hit us up
with any ideas that you guys got for the live
show as well, because those ideas may come to real life.
So we'll see you guys there.

Speaker 1 (35:55):
It's gonna be amazing. It's gonna be awesome.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
It will be We already did a live show with
games with names and that show was excellent, and now
this one's gonna be. We need burgers. We need burgers
at the live show. There's no burgers at the live show.
Julian's not showing up and I back them as well,
So we need burgers at the live show, So expect burgers.

Speaker 1 (36:13):
Everyone. Wait a minute, something just hit me?

Speaker 2 (36:17):
Oh I hit you, Jules, your pain pills well from
the surgery. The lucky guy, A lucky guy.

Speaker 1 (36:23):
Let me tell you, I was scrolling. I was scrolling
on a scrolling read it, I think and I found
squirrels in the Los Angeles area have become carnivorous. Has
anyone seen that else? Has anyone else seen that?

Speaker 3 (36:38):
So from the fires, they've all got like their turf
has been smaller. They've all come into the city. There's
like squirrel orgies outside my outside my balcony almost every day.

Speaker 1 (36:49):
Yeah, the squirrels are eating animals. Now that's sick fucking nuts.

Speaker 2 (36:56):
I mean, squirrels are fast, squirrels are strong. And they
say that kinniv or diet makes you both of those.

Speaker 1 (37:04):
Maybe they're gonna be faster and stronger.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
M h squirrels. All right, everyone, we have a new
call to action. We're doing something really, really cool. This
is a new segment this season and it's sponsored by
T Mobile. And if you're a football player that makes
a sick play, high school, college, pop Warner, it doesn't matter,
send the video our way and we will pick the

(37:26):
coolest and craziest plays and air them here on Dudes
on Dudes and determine what kind of dudes you are.
So post your highlights and tag at Dudes on Dudes
using the hashtag hashtag Friday night. Dudes, let's go send
in your best clip, your best highlight film, and we
want to rate it, we want to review it. It

(37:48):
won't just be entertaining for us, it will be entertaining
for everyone. So we appreciate all you guys that participate
and hurry up send it in so you guys can
be the first.

Speaker 1 (37:57):
Also, I mean, we want to do it. This is
this is kind of like we used to have in
the Bay Area Sports Focus. You guys, did you guys
have like a local high school highlight thing? And we
were featured on it once after we won a championship.
It was so cool. Did you ever have one of those? No,
not really, you didn't have like a local like a

(38:18):
local like we had like all Bay Area they would
show highlights of the high school football and like Channel
thirty six.

Speaker 2 (38:25):
I mean the local news would show a little bit
of the highlights of like the big Friday night game,
but it would be for like thirty seconds.

Speaker 1 (38:31):
We had a thirty minute show just for all of
this high school sports.

Speaker 2 (38:34):
Well, Jules, I was playing high school football in Buffalo,
New York. We had twenty four people in this. I
thought you had I thought you were a council. Pittsburgh
was my senior year. That was a whole different ball game.
There was for they loved that people per game in
the there was highlight shows and everything in New Station
just present the games.

Speaker 1 (38:53):
Pa fucking loved that for Friday nights.

Speaker 2 (38:55):
Oh, Western Pennsylvania football is like a whole nother, whole
nother deal. It's like Florida. We're based in California. It's
like Texas. We're basically we're based only sports focused.

Speaker 1 (39:04):
Now, we're basically let's get in the chills to the
week brought to you by our favorite beer, Coors Light.
Cors Light delivered straight to your door. Visit Coorslight dot com,
slash dudes and celebrate responsibly. Got to crack a beer
right there, Robie, crack the.

Speaker 2 (39:16):
Beer youels Hey, Please please, I know your stiff right
now because of that next surgery, so just please stay still.
I'll thank you that beer. And I just want to
thank you very much for breaking down the Patriots offense.
You know, from the one day that you were at
training camp for I thought it looked the fans will
appreciate that, and your breakdown was legit, man.

Speaker 1 (39:33):
I mean, I would love to see. You know they
have Hunter Henry. He's going to be a good, good
target for solid, very solid.

Speaker 2 (39:39):
He's the most reliable target that they have and we'll
be again this year. He's a safety blanket for Drake May.
And it's always good to have a young stud at
the quarterback position to have a safety blanket that he
can trust. And that's a veteran and now that's what
Hunter Henry. So we're going to crack this beer.

Speaker 1 (39:55):
Cheers the Blue Mountains.

Speaker 2 (39:58):
To the Blue Mountains, cold the Rockies, and this is
the time of year field with hope, speculation and wonder.
That's right, it's time for a training camp edition of
crystal Balls. Let's look into our crystal balls for some answers.
Jewels and I can tell you this Jewels has all
the answers already about Patriots training camp. But this isn't

(40:18):
just Patriots training camp we're doing. We're gonna do all
ighting camps and crystal balls will be rolling, they will
be shaken. Let's get into it. Thank you, cors Light
crystal balls. All right, the first crystal ball? Where's the
crystal ball? Do we not have the crystal ball here?

Speaker 1 (40:40):
All right?

Speaker 2 (40:40):
The crystal ball is just a made up crystal ball.
We'll pretend to shake you right now.

Speaker 1 (40:44):
All right, here we go.

Speaker 2 (40:46):
The first one. The crystal ball asks the Minnesota Vikings
will win more than eight and a half games this season.
What is the crystal ball in Julian's brain? Say, twenty
four hours after next surgery. This is an easy one.

(41:06):
This is a given. Like, how are you thinking right now?
You're just watching Kevin O'Connell on the NFL network. You've
played with Kevin O'Connell. You know this guy is witty,
he can talk, he can stand in front of a
crowd and motivate you.

Speaker 1 (41:19):
Jeels, Nah, they're gonna go over.

Speaker 2 (41:21):
They're going over. I'm going over as well. Why do
you even think about that?

Speaker 1 (41:24):
Because it's it's one of those ones where like they
have a rookie quarterback that we have no clue how's
he gonna do? Justin Jefferson, I know, but Addison, we all.
I know. Sam Donald had the great year that Sam
Donald had last year, but Sam Donald was also in
like a six year of football, I mean, and he
had some quality starts. We're going to JJ McCarthy. You know,

(41:47):
I'm sorry to say. You watch him in height. In college,
he didn't throw the football that much. Now he's got
dynamic playmakers. Addison's gonna be suspended for the first three.
They only got justin Jefferson. They have a really good defense,
they have a really good offensive line. But like we're
just gonna assume that the kid's gonna come in and
win a lot of games like that. This is early

(42:08):
his rookie year.

Speaker 2 (42:10):
It's kind of like a rookie plus year because any want.

Speaker 1 (42:14):
That red shirt.

Speaker 2 (42:14):
He has had a red shirt year, so usually you
can come in and be pretty legit after your red
shirt year. I mean, let's go to a different sport.
Look at Ben Simmons. He sat out he red shirt
and then he became Rookie of the Year and absolutely
dominated his rookie year. But I hope he doesn't read
Ben Simmons. Yeah, but maybe for.

Speaker 1 (42:31):
I hope that he doesn't.

Speaker 2 (42:33):
I was just giving an example of player you hope
professional sports red shirtings Ben Simmons.

Speaker 1 (42:39):
It would be a probably wouldn't be good. Well, I
mean it's the Minnesota Vikings though, so it's not like
you're maybe it would because Ben Simmons is good at
distributing the football or the ball, but he can't shoot
playing defense.

Speaker 2 (42:52):
Yeah, that means J J. McCarthy will have to go
over to the defense. Then let's get back to the
Let's get back to the crystal ball, all right, the
next Christmas over over eight and a half games. There's
no doubt about that. Kevini, no doubt, very solid head coach.
I never met him, Julians played with him, but I've
only heard great things.

Speaker 1 (43:09):
And guy knows football. Sean McVay, Yes, he knows how
to motivate his team.

Speaker 2 (43:15):
All right, here we go. They have great players, great
great players. They ain't gonna win the championship. I mean,
division's too tough. They're not gonna go to the super Bowl,
but they're gonna be very very solid football team again.
All right, here we go. Myke Parsons will play under
a new contract with the Dallas Cowboys in two thy
twenty five. Julian, we kind of talked about this subject

(43:38):
to the other week on Dudes on Dudes. I kind
of like what you said, and it's going in that direction,
is that there's always these games played with the Dallas
Cowboys players. And then in the end, Jerry Jones finally
comes through and gives them the contract that the player
wants and it's the biggest story. It makes headlines again,
and the Dallas Cowboys are America's team. The publicity is

(43:59):
there that as a marketing scheme you were talking about.
What do you think, Jules, No.

Speaker 1 (44:04):
No, wow? I think he's I did. I don't know.
I think Mike has pissed.

Speaker 2 (44:08):
Yeah, he is.

Speaker 1 (44:09):
He seems pretty pissed about this whole thing. Uh. It's
like he says he doesn't want to play for him
m hmm. But I watch him.

Speaker 2 (44:19):
That's just a gimmick.

Speaker 1 (44:20):
I know, because I watched him at practice and he's
like helping out the younger guy. He's not practicing, but
he's helping out the younger guys. So he acts like
he wants to be there. But that could be just
the dude he wants. I'm gonna go. Know. I think
something crazy is gonna happen.

Speaker 2 (44:32):
M hm. I mean if that, if something does you know,
happen that's crazy like that, they're gonna get a lot
of compensation for him if they.

Speaker 1 (44:40):
Ended up trade. If they end up could that be
good for their team?

Speaker 2 (44:42):
I think he stays. I think he's going to be
playing under a new contract. They just paid Ferguson too,
they did, but you know that that was what Ferguson deserved.
And if he get like twelve, yeah, like twelve. But
that's not going to affect the Parsons deal at all.
The Parsons deal is going to be like around forty
million dollars, a twelve million dollar deal, I know.

Speaker 1 (45:00):
But they already have a sixty with DAK, they have
a thirty two with CD now they have a twelve. Like,
how much money is there.

Speaker 2 (45:07):
It's gonna be tough. The salary cap just never runs out.
I like, it just never will.

Speaker 1 (45:11):
No, it did with with our team for some reason,
at least that's what we were told by coach. We
didn't have salary cap. But I swear to god, it's
so hard to combat that. When you look at the
Philadelphia Eagles, everyone's highest paid guy, and you look at
this team, everyone's highest paid guy. It's fucking crazy. What
I don't understand the salary cap.

Speaker 2 (45:29):
Yeah, I do a little bit. You just keep pushing
it into the future and the salary cap raises, so
then you can, you know, manage the money and then
push more money into the future. The salary cap raises,
but the salary cap has to like stop raising. Eventually,
there has to be a cap unless if we keep
expanding overseas well, then they'll just keep on going up
and up and up. But one day it's going to
have the plateau that's going to be hard for a

(45:51):
lot of teams. And though that's the year that you
did not want to be in free agency. Yeah, all right,
let's get back to the crystal ball subject number three.
Crystal ball all asked Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles
Chargers will win the AFC West for the first time
since two thousand and nine. No, I like where they're at.

(46:13):
They just don't have the talent yet. Lad McConkie. Love
them as a player, Love him as a wide receiver.
Love coach Jim uh one of.

Speaker 1 (46:24):
The running back. North Carolina running back that's gonna be good.
Naji Harris, who's gonna be all right too.

Speaker 2 (46:32):
Tough of a conference of Raiders. According to Tom that
they're going to have a team this year when we
were talking to him, which is probably true. The Denver Broncos,
I mean with bo Knicks and Champagyton, I mean, they're
gonna be solid. It's gonna be a tough conference. I
just don't see that. The Chiefs and the Chiefs. Obviously,
I didn't even have to bring up the Chiefs because

(46:52):
everyone knows it's the Chiefs.

Speaker 1 (46:53):
Like, I think the Chiefs are gonna better this year,
Like people are sleeping on them, like they just fucking died.
I know where she ain't gonna be there for like
the first four or whatever. But that dude's a bad man.
I think I think he's gonna be like a dynamic
football player. They're gonna have Worthy, they're gonna have Hollywood back,
They're gonna have health at the receiver position, which they

(47:14):
didn't have all last year, and they still managed to
go fucking win fourteen games.

Speaker 2 (47:19):
People are steeping out about the Chiefs. The crystal Ball
is asking about the Los Angeles charge.

Speaker 1 (47:24):
No, they were asking about the AFC fucking West and
it runs through the gun games.

Speaker 2 (47:27):
The crystal Ball asks, oh, yeah, that's what the christ
They said, Yeah, that's what the crystal Ball just told me.
All right, Well, hey, that's the crystal Ball and Jules's head.
So we're both going with no though, onto the next
subject with the crystal Ball. So Doris Sanders will start
a regular season game for the Cleveland Browns. He's he's
starting a preseason game. We're talking a regular season game now,

(47:50):
Oh so listle ball just got a little jumpie. Wow,
Well he's starting this game, and like that's preseason though regardless,
it's still an opportunity.

Speaker 1 (48:00):
If he goes lights it up, he's gonna earn more
opportunity next week. Okay, that's what people now. Everyone, Gabriel's
got a hamstring, Kenny Pickett's hurt, and Flacco's kind of
like their safety blanket who they want to start. Right,
But say Shador goes out here, plays his whole fucking
game and fucking has three touchdowns, lights it up. You
have no choice but to give the kid more opportunity

(48:22):
the next time. Like he could luck into this thing,
So I'm gonna go he might. Yes, he's gonna start
a regular season game this year. Yes, I agree, it's yes,
he's even if they don't want him to. Look, Gabriel
is a small guy. You got a hamstring. How can
we can't You can't be a small guy and have
a hamstring.

Speaker 2 (48:39):
How do we even have a hamstring injury as a
quarterbounty two years old a quarterback.

Speaker 1 (48:43):
How we have a hamstring at twenty two? It makes
no sense, like we gotta get that fixed. So you
don't have that Joey Flacco's getting I don't. I don't
want him to not I want Flacco to play. But
you know, there's always a time in that whole scenario
that we've seen for like the last four years, where
the team gets kind of staale with Joe and then
they always flip back to a different guy. They've done

(49:05):
it like three times in the last three years and
three different teams.

Speaker 2 (49:07):
So I'm going with yes, I think Shador Sanders starts
a regular season game for the Cleveland Browns. He's too determined,
he's too plus to not you know, and plus opportunity
and plus.

Speaker 1 (49:19):
Listen to this.

Speaker 2 (49:20):
Let's hear that's plus like medium plus. Now this is
like medium there. This is a medium rare plus stake,
all right. So you were just medium rare with the take.
Now you're gonna add that plus. Let's hear at Jules.

Speaker 1 (49:31):
So Cleveland Browns have two first round picks next year. Okay,
see what Cleveland Browns have a pretty decent team sept
you know, the little old. The quarterback room's real young old.
We're everywhere over there. Who's in? I hear next year?
Next year? That quarterback draft supposed to be fucking really good.

(49:54):
So what if they somehow just start schador the whole
year and just say fuck it and go gear up for.

Speaker 2 (50:00):
Arch Archie Man, that's a plus take right there. That
is a medium I mean plus. That's so then maybe
he's definitely gonna start take right there, because what if
it's a well done plus take right there? Actually, Jules,
I don't know, you're reaching? Are you reaching?

Speaker 1 (50:19):
I don't know what if they go and try to
they're not tanking, I mean I was.

Speaker 2 (50:25):
Once they're not. Once you evaluate where we don't anymore,
that's no, that's a possibility, once they evaluate where the
season is going about halfway three.

Speaker 1 (50:34):
Quarters, that's what I mean. So he's gonna start.

Speaker 2 (50:36):
So, yes, but if they're dominating, then no, they're not
gonna tank or anything.

Speaker 1 (50:40):
Cleveland Brown's dominating. Could you just say that? Yeah, I
don't know what I was.

Speaker 2 (50:46):
Crystal Ball is getting tired, Okay, I mean that's a
that's a tough division too.

Speaker 1 (50:50):
You got the Ravens, you got a fucking Bengals team
that's pissed off, that hasn't won in fucking September since
god knows when Joey Burrows.

Speaker 2 (50:57):
Put it this way, the Bengals are playing their starters
in preseas in this year because they they finally want
to start fast. I would say the reason why they
didn't make the playoffs last year was because of that
lost Week one versus the New England Patriots, when they
had no business losing that game. So they got to
figure out how to start fast. And you know, you
got to change it up. Play them in the preseason,

(51:17):
play them, not just a court, a full game. You
gotta be able to do that.

Speaker 1 (51:22):
The thing is they Joey Burrow has been banged up
in all the training camps that they haven't like like
last year, he had the risk. They didn't know how
it was going to go. So I understand they couldn't
play them, but they got to play everyone else. They
gotta start fast. I like that they're changing it up,
but you know, that's a tough division. We didn't even
talk about Ravens Browns Bengals, and we didn't even talk

(51:44):
about the Stillers and they got Aaron and that's gonna
be fun to watch. That's gonna be a fun conference.
Fucking I'm excited for football season.

Speaker 2 (51:51):
I'm excited.

Speaker 1 (51:51):
I need to chill out.

Speaker 2 (51:52):
