Speaker 1 (00:00):
Why is it four point five? That's not correct? Where
do I get that from? See? Sorry, sorry inject you're
on state sustained. Okay, but anyway, I.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
Cannot be using the case.
Speaker 1 (00:14):
Run out of the case, dismiss it. So I'm still
saying the charges make our total numbers. It is not.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
Welcome to games with names. I'm Julian Edelman. They are
Jack and Kyler, and we all are on a mission
to find the greatest game of all time. And on
today's episode, we're celebrating our one hundredth game with a
very very special rescoring extravaganza, and we are talking the
(00:49):
state of our scoring system.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
Your scoring is not off of the integrity of the score.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
I'd like to take the fifth.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
Well, each state our case, which game is too high
or too low?
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Without this game, there's no Katelely Clark.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
Okay, let's rescore this.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
And then we wrap it up with our second quasi
annual Gamey Awards for the Chill Zone, presented by Cores Lights.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
Red carpet has been rolled out. Who's taken home the awards?
Speaker 1 (01:18):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
You gotta thank Gota the Hollywood for nuttyheads. You gotta
stick around to the end.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
Let's go, Let's go Games and names A production of iHeartRadio.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
Summer twenty twenty five the Nuthouse Studio, Area eleven, California.
After one hundred games, we've still got a lot of
work to do. This is the grab again.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
This is already off the rails. You got something there there.
Don't come out in the wash, all right, boys, Before
we get into the nitty gritty, before we get into
the rescoring, before the gloves come off, we got to
give a little bit of thanks, reflect a little bit.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
We got into one hundred games. That is incredible.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
It's come a long way from Canal Street in the
heart of New York City, all the way to undisclosed
locations on the West Coast and everywhere in between.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
Area eleven eleven.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
I used to always love when any wrestler, when needy wrestler,
or build himselves from parts unknown. Anyway, on any journey,
it's good to take a little moment reflect and give thanks.
So first I will pose this question to the boys.
What was your favorite moment on our journey so far?
Speaker 3 (02:48):
Favorite moment? It's pretty freaking cool. It was pretty cool
having Danny DeVito here.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
Dude, I was unbelieving that. I mean like he.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
Didn't even know the game or anything, but it didn't matter.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
It didn't matter hair.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
He just was so cool holding court. It was cool
to have a front row seat to that. That was incredible.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
Also like being we're in l A having Jeanie Buss here. Yeah,
that's pretty fucking big time.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
Only only next step is getting Lebron, who's right up
the street. Hey, Lebron, come on, not not might just
have to go with a Jeter gift.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
Jack, you've been.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
Dropping Jeter gifts? Are your favorite moments of the journey?
I think de Vito was. I mean, the the aura
of that's like when you you when you were in
the room with a star, you could just feel its white.
Put it into words, but you could feel it. That
was up there for me.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
Uh, I got us.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
The live show was pretty darn epic. Live show is
pretty darn cool that we sold out a historic theater
on stage together. We pulled it off. We'd lady done
anything like that before. Twice in one night. I mean,
that was that was pretty darn neat I was. I
was really grateful to be a part of that with
you boys.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
I still about that another point with the data Vito,
which I think Danvy was so fucking cool and he
came in and told the stories. He was better than advertised,
just awesome. Kind of a real ten point episode for us.
But I think from a pull the curtain behind a
little bit, that was a show that we had to
be nimble to produce, right, like in the nature of
(04:17):
having to like move the cameras around to make it
work and move the camera, but then also like you
and me on the fly when it became very apparent
that this episode wasn't going to be our normal episode
and just have to throw out what we had prepared
and just get the best stuff out of him and
have the best stories and maintain a good conversation. I
think it was a good example of like me being
proud of how our team was able to operate and
(04:39):
be flexible and to make a good, great show when
he came on agreed, Okay, yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
Reminded me back when was that game one of the
Baltimore games.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
We went in with the game plan, scrapped it, which
is straight fundamentals of what we knew from the core
of our he played, got a good team and we
leaned on it fundamentals.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
We thought it was a different Dame.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
Now we could run one play. We could run Jordan
one play, or Lynn Swan Jordan or Ali okay, one play.
It could beat anything.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
What was Jordan?
Speaker 1 (05:18):
Right? Ali left execute. It's hard to appreciate it because
it was in the back half of like a week
in Boston and then the live show. But going to
bon Jovi's house in the Hamptons so cool. And he
was another guy as advertised, sweetheart delightful. It was great
for the show as super hospitable in a statistical category.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
I think that is the only show we've ever done
from a guest house, right, the only guest to welcome us.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
In their home.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
Yeah right, Yeah, that's pretty cool. He opened the door
for the boys. We said, hey, let's talk some ball.
We were living on a prayer, now living on a prayer.
Oh man, I like it out there. I'm to be
a Hampton's guy.
Speaker 3 (06:00):
After that, it was the coastal Eastern summer. Coastal towns
to me, are all really similar. It's just the people
are different, that's true. Like as far as looks, Cape,
Hampton's look just like the Cape, which just looked like
block Island, which all look like all the coastlines of
North Massachusetts. They all look very similar. I mean you
(06:22):
get a little more rocky in certain areas, but it's
the people in each what differentiates.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
It's also to think about those islands and stuff because
they're so vastly different. To get to Kantucket or but
as the crow flies are all very close, Hampton's, the
Block islands in Nantucket, it's not that far away.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
They were like when we went I went to Westerly
or is that where we went on Connecticut last summer?
Speaker 1 (06:45):
A couple of like it's on Connecticut, Rhode Island.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
Oh yeah, like beautiful, But I mean they all have
that same kind of feel, just the people are different
in each one. I like the overall of those vibes though, yeah,
I mean coastal grasses and the that are flowing off
the sand grass sand ranges pretty and and you always
(07:12):
get a warmer water in the East Coast even if
you're north because that southern jet stream.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
Thanks to John bon Jovi for letting us come over.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
And then one more for me just because it wasn't
that far like the Stanley Cup.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
That was pretty cool and cool, that was pretty cool trophies,
trophies so far and many more were trying to get
next Vince. We can get Vince, we can get vans Lombo.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
What's the World Cup trophy? Calm.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
I think here's the World Cup trophy, the World Series trophy.
We haven't had that.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
No, that's a cool trophy. It seems kind of big.
Also seems kind of dangerous.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
Poke sketch.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
I always feel like they can poke you do we
want to get into any coaching points? You want to
save those? Maybe kind of tighten.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
Her up, get tighter. Cut the fat, yeah, I.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
Think so streamline that bad boy.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
I think we need to be like, you know, one
of those chefs over at Harry's hofbro on El Camino
in Redwood City. You're taking off, you're cutting that. You
know you're cutting. What do you want? You want astromy
little rose bef. You want to open face turkey sandwich.
You cut that, bad boy, You cut that fat rad off,
cut it off, buddy.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
I also think something we could do, and this is
a Jack's point a lot is let's go game seeking
more right. We've got a lot of talent seeking recently,
but let's go like find some like these are quintessential
games with name, let's do that game and then fill
in some talent that would do those game game hunting, baby, Yeah,
big game hunting.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
I like that.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
Now do we the rest of the scoring?
Speaker 1 (08:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (08:39):
As of late, how do you guys think we've been
in the last fifty scoring wise?
Speaker 1 (08:44):
Last fifty better than the first fifty? That's for damn sure.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
I think we didn't we? Yes, big improvement.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
Yes, the more data points by having us all score
has helped even stuff out a little bit, for sure.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
Agreed. I think we're we're honing in our system where
we're seeing we're all seeing the game. Well, I think
we're I think we're still honing it in, but we're good.
I think we're getting there.
Speaker 1 (09:07):
I will I will say I think we've veered off
a little bit in the last couple Like if we
look back, and that's what we're gonna be doing today,
going back through our total list, there's some anomalies that
we need to think about. How do they get there
and how can we prevent that from happening again.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
Yeah, sometimes I still want a guest, it's a customer.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
Now, this is what I want to talk about. It's
become very apparent recently. Your scoring is not off of
the integrity of the score, but it's off of deviation
from what the guest does. So if the guest says
it's a seven, you are only ever thinking how far
off from seven can I go? As opposed to what
is the actual game? I can either confirm nor can
(09:53):
I deny. But going forward, I'd like to take the fifth.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
Being a hospitable You don't want a guilty.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
You don't want to at all.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
No, I got a score?
Speaker 1 (10:02):
Or should we have you score ahead of time?
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Ahead of time?
Speaker 1 (10:07):
And then you can you can listen to the game
and the thing and change and.
Speaker 3 (10:12):
Then you know, I got executive, I can change, so
it can be like hey, Jeels, what's your score?
Speaker 2 (10:16):
And more like Jewels, you score, order executive, sign it
into sign.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
It you score seven point one? Do you stand by that?
And then you can change. Now the real question is
would you actually do that?
Speaker 2 (10:29):
Don't know, but I think we need to do it before.
Speaker 1 (10:32):
Okay, so all three of us do it before. Let's
try to do it beforehand.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
Because I was just gonna say with with you and me,
do we do we still want to score it beforehand?
Speaker 1 (10:39):
I like scoring it beforehand? What is your why is
that again? Just streamline? Streamline?
Speaker 2 (10:44):
Okay, I feel that and we and also you don't
get to the pressure of yeah, yeah, we haven't really
gotten bullied lately, which is good. Who's our biggest bully
Steve Smith? Steve Smith was mostly just because I was
scared of him. Cubes didn't bully us, but I think
we were. We got a little bit steamrolled.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
That was also our second new format show, that's true.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
Plus there was a shark in the tank.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
I mean we were trying to pitch fifty different things.
What's crazy? Since since since he was on that couch
sold the MAVs leaving Shark Tank.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
Damn Is that good or bad?
Speaker 1 (11:22):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
Usually I think we give a bump.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
Maybe that is a bump. Maybe that is a bump.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
Maybe it's a bump into reality for him there there,
It is time to grow up, dude, Time to grow
up and get a life. Get hot, none of this
through and pitches.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
I'm going to miss him on Shark Tank. I love him.
He's the man.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
We should get him back in here sometime. Him in
Dirty Dirk, mister Wonderful.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
He's a Boston guy.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
Yeah, I know, Yeah, oh I know, but he's a Canadian.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
My guy was giving me a tutorial on social media.
Like when I met.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
Him him him, was he wearing a jacket and playing guitar?
Speaker 3 (12:01):
No, but he the other way. I was sitting here
talking to me about social media. He had no clue that,
Like I was a pioneer. I'll just give social media
for pro athletes. Are you a pioneer of social media
for Were we not?
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Did they do a case study one? I don't think so.
Were we not a freaking pioneer in this thing?
Speaker 1 (12:17):
I think you were one of, if not the first,
content creating athletes.
Speaker 3 (12:21):
So like, regardless, I was the first in my goddamn
locker room, which was the most popular, not the most popular,
but one of the biggest locker rooms for the last
twenty years.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Say catch up, mister wonderful.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
But I had to, Yes, sarahm Yau is you know
he's one of those guys that he wants to.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
Yeah, he wants to.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
Yeah, he's got the all right ahead. Oh so you
use the at sign and it'll go to people. Oh
what a hashtag?
Speaker 1 (12:50):
What does tiktac to mean? What is it? Hashtag? You
mean a number sign.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
That that's a Sepia filter. What No, it was cool though?
Speaker 1 (13:03):
What's he always on?
Speaker 2 (13:03):
Struk thing?
Speaker 1 (13:04):
He's always asking for some uh not equity?
Speaker 2 (13:07):
What's it?
Speaker 1 (13:07):
Royalty? He always wants the royal to the deal? Baby,
come on, man, I hate that. Yeah, so take away
from this. Let's try to have you score ahead of time. Okay,
we can work there.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
Yeah, you know what my thought was, what if we
all leave the name blank? Because so often the name changes.
The name could be blank, you know what I mean?
So often I want to go back and change the
name if we name it, if you want to, they
come up with cool names.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
Yeah, guess see if you guys want to do that,
by all means okay for me personally, because I think
I score the name differently from you guys. I generally
don't care about whatever pun they fucking come up with.
I care more about like how much that game matters?
Speaker 2 (13:43):
Right?
Speaker 3 (13:44):
But I do think that, like I'm getting you the
my kid gives me the side. I said, Dad, look
over here and then look at me.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
Did you how was Andre last night?
Speaker 2 (13:53):
And I mean we watched Andrea this seal lot.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
It was good.
Speaker 2 (13:58):
It was good.
Speaker 1 (13:59):
I mean someone drowned, well the kid Jesus, the little.
Speaker 3 (14:05):
Girl almost drowned, but Andre came out and saved it.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
Oh good, Oh I remember that, remember that?
Speaker 3 (14:10):
But I mean it was we watched it on YouTube,
which it was definitely like like fully bootlegged it nice,
so like you you can barely see the water and
stuff like.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
Well that was just movies in nineteen ninety two, its
four four right man, all right, so jewels scores ahead
of time and maybe you if you want to leave.
Although something you do with every show here here, let's
do this every show like it's like the first time
you've ever said your score. I always had to be
like Jack, say your score.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
Oh okay, I'll get I'll do it.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
I'll do it four times every episode.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
I'm usually doing so much other like last little tweaks
to yeah, and I'm updating the last little thing. I
know it's a lot of moving parts area, but I
gotta I'll smell the coffee on that segment.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
The coffee. Should that be a new segment, it should be.
I like that.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
Cultures the best sputt of waking up is phoses in
your cup. I like that. That's a good I like
that as a segment.
Speaker 1 (15:13):
It might be a dude segment. We just take smelling
salts beforehand? Would you start taking smelling sauce before shows?
Speaker 2 (15:20):
I've never done it before. You haven't? No, awesome? Did
you do it before every game or just sometimes you
should do before every lift?
Speaker 3 (15:28):
Really, James Devlin would have a box of smelling salts.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
Sounds like there's always a smelling salt guy. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
And what we do we put Tom pregame. He would not.
Speaker 3 (15:41):
He would do like five of them, put them in
a Gatorade cup and then like smell it and he's
like Tom used to put him in the Gatorade cups.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
Hit this. Yeah, we should in our little like toiletree
like set if we have in the bathroom, we have
some selling salts for the guests.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
We need to pure pressure our guests more. I think
imagine like a social media video of we have a
cup full of smelling salts five in the bottom and
we're passing around and we get to dating. DeVito's like,
do you have to do it?
Speaker 1 (16:08):
Now? We've all done it? Got it?
Speaker 2 (16:11):
Got it? I think we need smelling salts.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
We do.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
That's like Lea is the brand. There's there's the standard.
I think there's I don't I only know the one brand.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
My men's league hockey team had it. My men's league hockey. Yeah,
we didn't do that. And I love it Darling and
shout out Darley and go lizards. She like worked for
like the power lines, and she would like they would
have them, so she would like, yeah, Lineman, so she
would give us. That's a dangerous profession, that's real. And
then when like any sort of weather gets sucked, like
(16:41):
they work like during the.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
Fires and stuff, like those guys got to there. They're
in the middle of the fire doing the line. Ship
that sh it's serious. Yeah, you can get electrocuted anyway.
She had a bunch of smelling salts. I think the
Lineman shout out to wichital big dogs and the people
that are putting up the lines.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
Yea, giving us power.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
And what they do during like any sort of weather,
like they're working NonStop for days on it.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
When it's the worst weather, that's when they have to work.
Speaker 1 (17:07):
They go out. Yeah, and they all travel too because
it's crazy. Yeah Lineman. Heck yeah, both for power.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
And there's got to be a Mark Wahlberg Lineman movie coming.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
Out it's still it's in development.
Speaker 3 (17:18):
I could see that or you know what I mean,
I could see him like he likes playing the working
man guy.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
It seems like a movie if any chase mine.
Speaker 1 (17:24):
What's like, what's the inciting incident here? Like, what's okay?
Speaker 2 (17:27):
So well?
Speaker 3 (17:28):
We could worst do it off the fire world and
character could be there's gonna be a movie off this fire.
The l a fire and three two years and we
can we can doll up like cause I'm pretty sure
you know they can make a fireman and you.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
Know any of the water. What was the name of
the movie in Entourage line Jumpers Smoke Jumpers, Smoke Jumpers.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
That was with didn't what's his name, Miles Teller do
like a fire like an outdoor fireman. Yeah, And then
there was it was with Angeline Najolee and Taylor Sheridan
did a smoke Jumpers esque movie a couple of years ago.
Speaker 1 (18:06):
See, I'm telling you, we got to get one of those.
Speaker 3 (18:09):
I think Mark's loosely involved.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
I've heard, I heard he's attached.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
Let's go get Peter Berg.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
Now you heard it here.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
First thing, I.
Speaker 3 (18:17):
Think Peter Berg's I think he's directed it. I don't
know one of the two those who wish me dead?
Speaker 1 (18:23):
There it was. He feels like it of course, is
how do you not have him in a movie? Like,
it's very good.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
We got to get him on here.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
We got it. He's so cool.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
We gotta get bernhal on here. Man.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
He's a Commanders fan.
Speaker 2 (18:37):
Well, yeah, he's DC. He's from like Baltimore, DC area.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
I like that.
Speaker 3 (18:41):
He's an intense guy. Is I like he's like but
he's very like he's got like that self improvement.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
Yeah, he's every day getting a little better. Like his
little daughter.
Speaker 3 (18:53):
I remember him talking about his His daughter's like top
five jiu jitsu girl and she's like five seven years old.
He's like a bad like his kids are all studs.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
He just what's a show called The Real Ones? Shout
out the Real One?
Speaker 2 (19:06):
Real One's awesome. Yeah, you get some really cool interviews
on that.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
That was a fun I like that his like interviews
are all like it's not about like getting stars on,
it's all about like things that he's curious about that
he wants to learn st so he brings people on
to just learn more about what they're up to.
Speaker 3 (19:19):
He was really interested in my you know, I brought
his kids in because he was so interested between my
relationship with me and my father, because he did research
on it, you know, because he you know, he just
sees it cool. We gotta get him on games and
then good.
Speaker 2 (19:32):
I love him. He'd probably do some Baltimore. He likes DC.
Speaker 3 (19:35):
He's a Commanders fan. I think so, yeah, probably with
Joe Gibbs back.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
In the day. I just got a text from Lea,
who's next to me. She says, Slide thirty four has
everyone's individual top tens for scoring to rebring go back
into rescoring, and she says it's shocking All Caps. Should
we go look at our individual top tens before we
get into our shocking All Caps individual top tens? Jack
(20:01):
tell us about the new the highest scored games that
we did in this new fifty, this last latest fifty
we're bringing up in fifty and why we're calling a
quasi annual because we did a rescoring chef against so
for our first.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
Right, we just we just used this as our our
nice little road map, a nice round number.
Speaker 1 (20:17):
Night.
Speaker 2 (20:17):
I just got beat by uh Ray Bork's. Isn't that
crazy that we'll talk about that? That could be a
nice been a foreshadowing for what's to come. That's another
bullying we got. I got bullied and I didn't wanted
to let down the right.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
All right, that's a top I think that's a top
ten game. But that should that's a little bit too high.
That's a little bit too high.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
So what we were talking about here is Game seven
of the two thousand and one Stanley Cup Final abs
Versus Devils with Ray Bork and the Stanley Cup that
netted out at number four with a nine point two three.
The kind of the star of our last fifty if
you will, highest ranked.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
I don't blame you. Like the cup shiny, it's like
in your eye. Ray Borg's there. We were in Boston.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
I get why Phil's hair is flapping?
Speaker 1 (20:56):
Hair, isn't that you guys see him last night? He
looked good.
Speaker 3 (20:58):
Shout out Brad getting another one that was face killer baby.
Speaker 2 (21:02):
Speaking of hockey miracle on ice, we had Jim Craigh
in the nuthouse, pretty darn cool American hero sho number
five that got collecked in a nine point one six.
We'll speed around through the rest of these. They need
to veto Game seven of the World Series twenty sixteen.
Great from ten point one five. Great game maybe the
highest one of the highest stakes.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
The highest baseball game.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
Maybe, Yeah, it was.
Speaker 1 (21:24):
It feels weird because we didn't really talk about.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
It, right, you know, and I think I think breaking
the curse was so much of that.
Speaker 1 (21:31):
Yes, stinks from the Cubs is insane. Both also was
a great game Game seven. Both hadn't won. Both like
star powering a little bit low.
Speaker 2 (21:39):
And then you stay here in the nines. Uh, the
Snowbowl game aka the Tuck. We think that's a good
place for it is number seven at nine point oh three.
We did that with Scott Pioli. That was Raiders versus
pats Uh. I think that seems fair. That seems it's
pretty fair.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
A little to be a little high, but like that's
an iconic game that people remember for a big time
with that game. Yeah, cultural impact of that game is
fucking high as.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
Ship no big time. And then we we we had
another super Bowl within this that also cracked the top
ten with an eight point seven to four Super Bowl
eighteen Raiders versus Redskins with Howie Long. I mean, anytime
a super Bowl cracks the top ten, I can't really
argue with it. Yeah, and how he's awesome and it's
I too legendary organization big time. How many nines do
we have overall? Yeah, we look here, not very many
(22:27):
total nines. Seven six, seven, Yeah, so seven games have cracked.
That should be like an eight nine threshold. Yeah, no,
I'm with you.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
It's a high high to mid eight game.
Speaker 2 (22:39):
I think it's an a mid eight game.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
Yeah, it's fair because the game itself wasn't that great.
It also isn't the most iconic Raiders game, like Raiders super.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
Bowl four Nations a little high, too high, a little
bit of foreshadowing, and that was just yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
Yeah, it just happened to recency advice because steaks shouldn't
be that high. You can tie in geopolitical, fine, but
like it's a brand new tournament. It's also like an
All star.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
You know, the whole Trump Canada thing was going on,
so like everyone's fired up.
Speaker 1 (23:10):
Yeah, we all got hot on that. That's a little bit.
That's not just a little bit too it that's way
too high.
Speaker 2 (23:15):
That's way too high. Seven. That's a it's a high
seven game. I will say star power is very high,
very high. The gameplay is though the game wasn't that good.
We also we also conflated no one even knows about, we.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
Conflated the great game that led to this matchup to
give that a higher gameplay because the gameplay of that
game was fine.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
Yeah, it was right and awake of that. It was
a good game, but it.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
Wasn't like an iconic game.
Speaker 3 (23:39):
But what if this turns into being like one of
the biggest things ever and it's the first one.
Speaker 1 (23:44):
Well, then time would look favorably on it. And and
then the two hundred rescoring ex we have against that
we can rescore.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
It like betting ourselves on the back and with with
Mike Bennett way too high.
Speaker 1 (23:56):
Yeah, that was a great game, great fucking game play.
Speaker 3 (23:59):
Unless it's like coach NFC Championship of All Time, it
should not be over an eight two.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
No, the fact that that's at eleven spot is a
little crazy. That's a little too high now that you
mention it, Matty p. The twenty eleven AFC Championship game
that was the Billy Kundiff miss game thirteen.
Speaker 1 (24:18):
I mean that's too high.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
That's a little high, very high high. And then rounding
it out here with Our last high score of the
last fifty is Nikki coming in the number twenty spot
with an eight point four to seven. That was the
twenty twenty three AFC Division Round game Bill's versus Chiefs
aka the White Sweater Game. That was a great game,
really really good game.
Speaker 3 (24:37):
I think that that belongs that could be higher, maybe agreed,
because that was was that the thirteen seconds?
Speaker 2 (24:42):
It was no, that was no. No, it was a
good game a little bit of recently.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
It was a fine game. One. It's probably point two
too high. Yeah, I could see that being high sevens
low eights, star pro high.
Speaker 3 (24:56):
Yeah, because right now from now, but if Josh Allen
rattles off three Super Bowls next eight years, like then
you're like, oh, well, no, that that thing looks pretty good.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
We also, I think it probably had a high star
power because Taylor Swift was there.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
I mean that was pretty high. That was I mean,
that was at the hot That was high star power though,
And you're probably gonna have a lot of you know,
you got two of the faces of the league, three
of the faces freaking.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
Traversed any of those Bills Chiefs games just I mean
automatically at least like a seven to five or eight
kind of thing that's the new like Peyton, Yeah, Brady, Peyton, Tom.
Speaker 1 (25:33):
Yeah, it really is crazy to think.
Speaker 3 (25:35):
But then there's Joe, There's there's a there's a couple.
We don't know who the Peyton Brady is yet because
no one's declared.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
Who's gonna be.
Speaker 1 (25:45):
Who's the Ben Jackson sneak.
Speaker 2 (25:48):
To soups, who's gonna be the Drew Brees that gets one,
a d that gets one, the Aaron Rodgers that gets
one whose defense might carry him to another one that.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
May not have and ever again yeah yeah, those deep
like it's just the game has changed big time.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
Let's go look at our quick little little top ten comparison.
Speaker 1 (26:09):
So this is the guests top ten. So this is
just based on how do we get one point ten
point twenty five? How did that happen?
Speaker 2 (26:16):
Did he give an eleven? I think eleven will allow it?
Speaker 1 (26:19):
Yea, because it's right that one's on me. So Scott,
I let that so nicely.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
I got, there's so nice to you let him slide
with a couple of things.
Speaker 1 (26:28):
I let that slide. I got real excited about it.
Speaker 2 (26:31):
So the guest top ten, this is just basically in
a vacuum.
Speaker 1 (26:34):
Just the guest score.
Speaker 2 (26:36):
The one Stanley Cup Game seven, Devil's Avalanche, like we
just said, got a ten point twenty five. Broke the
scale even higher than Mark Cuban. Ray went places no
one has gone before by giving an eleven number two.
Speaker 1 (26:49):
The broke the theoretical limits. He did.
Speaker 2 (26:51):
The limit does not exist. Super Blood wolf Moon game
is number two. Twenty eighteen AFC Championship game. Weird both
Ernie and Rob Riggle nine point nine. Uh. The four
Nastons face off. We talked about that a minute ago.
Canada USA nine point seven five. That was with Biz
Nasty two thousand and three AFC Championship game Colt Patriots
(27:14):
nine point seven to five. That was with ty Law correct. Yeah,
I believe. Then the seven Western Conference Playoffs Game six
MAVs Warriors, Baron Davis Aaron Davis ninety seven five bead
that we believe. Warriors twenty fourteen NFC Championship game. Michael Bennett,
Mary Seahawks. That's a nine point six threeay too, just
his score again, Just a reminder, these are just the
(27:35):
guest scorer. Sixers Celtics season opener twenty twenty three NBA
Season nine point six to three.
Speaker 1 (27:41):
Joe maz Hi Hi, Joe, we love you.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
Shout for Joe, but I'll die for Joe, so i'll
you can give it a thirty for all I care.
Twenty sixteen World Series Game seven, Cubs Indians. Again, that
was the Indvido nine point five, the snowball game OH
one Divisional round up Raiders. It's aka that took Roll
nine point five and then number ten to twenty eleven
NBA Finals Game six Mavericks heat Mark Cuban.
Speaker 1 (28:08):
So now we raged Mark Cuban, but we really should
be ragging on Ray.
Speaker 2 (28:11):
Now. How did Mark Cuban get a nine point five? Oh?
When he gave it all tens?
Speaker 1 (28:14):
Okay? You have one to nine?
Speaker 3 (28:15):
Okay, so those are those are just the Just look
at these scores. I feel like mine, this is pretty good.
Mine is probably the best.
Speaker 1 (28:24):
Rickle on Nice number one Jewels, followed by the Millennium Wave,
Lard Hamilton Hopple, Super eighteen Raider versus Redskins. I think
you got a little how we longed there? Super Blood
wolf Moon.
Speaker 3 (28:40):
Look at that's that's where it should be. Yeah, squad
to nine, but should be flirting with that nice hide
with Becky two belts. WrestleMania thirty five. I mean that's
fucking I got a daughter. Okay, this first time where
we got women fucking headlining goddamn Wrestlemanian, that's gotta be
up there.
Speaker 1 (28:56):
Then you got the Ray Walks Stanley Cup Final.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
Then yeah, but look at yeah that's an eight nine.
That didn't give a nine.
Speaker 1 (29:02):
That's a good spot for it.
Speaker 2 (29:03):
That's a good right spot. That's a fucking integrity type score.
Speaker 1 (29:06):
Then you got the Packers Seahawks game. You got a
little Michael Bennett there.
Speaker 2 (29:10):
Yeah, but now look where did you guys go with that?
Speaker 1 (29:12):
We'll get there in a second. Uh. Then you had
Cubs Danny, but look you have all these tied eight
point eight eight. I'm gonna do you see that though?
You see like my high high is where it should be.
H You've got a good internal, I got a good
fuck Yeah. Just wait till we look at Jack's.
Speaker 2 (29:29):
The highest of mine, like eight point or nine point
two eight, like that's realistic.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
Then then Liddell, Couture, Niners, Chiefs. No one really remembers
that it was fucking Garoppolo. I'm gonna give it a
eight point eight. That's a pretty good one. And then yeah,
I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna.
Speaker 1 (29:49):
Call out couture. You have that Super Bowl? You're being wildly?
Do you being?
Speaker 2 (29:53):
Johnny Humblow?
Speaker 1 (29:53):
Also three, We've got the Seahawks Super Bowl below the
twenty fourteen NFC Championship game.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
Wait I put mine below?
Speaker 1 (30:01):
Yeah, Like, where's twenty eight to three on this list?
Speaker 2 (30:03):
Johnny Humble over here?
Speaker 1 (30:05):
Maybe you know, I don't think it's that big of
a deal.
Speaker 2 (30:08):
Hey, they had us in the first half. Gotta believe
maybe by two hundred it'll get there.
Speaker 1 (30:12):
We'll be right back after this quick break. Okay, Jack,
what's do yours?
Speaker 2 (30:17):
So my top ten scores just me, of course, no
factoring in Kyler and Jeweles or the guest. Twenty eight
to three number one, hands down. You come back and
you visit me in episode five hundred, it'll still be
number one.
Speaker 1 (30:29):
Guarantee it.
Speaker 2 (30:30):
Nine point eight three, Michael or Malcolm Butler game excuse me,
h Seahawks Patriots number two for sure? Nine nine point
five eight. This is the Cubs Indians twenty sixteen World
Series game seven nine point five three, Right, I mean
I got, I got, dannied. How many nines are you given?
Speaker 1 (30:50):
Now?
Speaker 2 (30:50):
I did? He gave it to me. Mike's way, baby
a little baby no Jack.
Speaker 1 (30:56):
Jack statistically has the highest variation.
Speaker 2 (30:59):
Yeah all over the board.
Speaker 1 (31:01):
Schizophrenic scorer over here both Russian and French. Dge Hey, I'm.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
Everywhere, I am every I got, I got a passport
in every country. Dog the Wheelchair game is my number four.
Paul Pierce NBA Finals nine point twenty five Solid Snowball
game aka The Tuck Rule Game as an eight point
nine eight for me. Super Blood wolf Moon Game should
be higher. It's one of my favorite games of all time.
Should be higher. Okay, got an eight point nine to
(31:27):
five for me? That should be in the nines twenty
eleven AFC Championship game. I think I got Maddy p
fatigue at the end there he wore me down, he
said yeah, I said, I'll just I scored it a
little high, A little high at an eight point nine
to three. Still an awesome game. Miracle on ice eight
point eight eight should be higher.
Speaker 1 (31:45):
Number nine for me.
Speaker 2 (31:47):
Three NFC Division Run Panthers Rams the X Clown Game.
I love that game.
Speaker 1 (31:51):
Just for you, I really like that game.
Speaker 2 (31:53):
Not a Panthers guy, but I do remember that era
growing up in the Charlotte area and Steve and in
that walk off Tuddy. You don't see a walk off
Toddy in many games we've covered. Yeah, that gets an
eight point eight zero. Fine, I guess should be like
ten not nine. And THENO one Stanley Cup Final Devil's
Abs with Ray eight point that I think we all got.
(32:13):
We got a little little cut.
Speaker 1 (32:15):
But that like, while I think that game should be lower,
like it's a game seven Stanley Cup Finals. Yeah, I'm
not like an all time grade who never won it.
And the star power is super fucking high. Yes, game
of stakes, low stakes, real high star power, high hockey.
Cultural reverence is super fucking high in that.
Speaker 2 (32:30):
Game, big time. But yeah, I say everyone knows, like
you said, it doesn't have a name. I'm not mad
at these. I'm not mad at these.
Speaker 1 (32:36):
Yeah, that's not bad jack my I think the takeaway
from here often when guests come and they see like
six Patriots games up top, they assume this is Julian's bias.
They do, you're taking that heat. You barely have any Patriots.
You've got one fucking Patriots game. In your top ten,
and Jack's got one, not even a nine three, not
(33:01):
even that, Jack's got five Patriot game.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
I'm an unabashed Homer. I'm call me what you want.
I will not deny it. Guilty is charged Homer right here. Okay,
so this is me.
Speaker 1 (33:12):
Let's hear, let's hear number is and I'm Johnny nine.
All these are nine. Holy shit, Malcolm Butler game number one.
I stand by that. I have a take that I
don't think the twenty eight to three game is as
good as everyone says it because it's two. It's two
fucking blowouts tied together. Now, the stakes whatever, whatever, whatever.
But I think that the gameplay of Malcolm Butler is
(33:34):
better anyway. And so yeah, I'm happy to be wrong there,
but I do have a take on that. So that's
why this one's there. The two thousand four ALCS game
four Yankees versus Red Sox. I think that's an iconic
game we let slide all the way through.
Speaker 2 (33:48):
It's pretty it's pretty iconic. Now, it's not nine Championship,
but it's not the it's not the game seven.
Speaker 1 (33:54):
But like, yeah, sure, but it was down three.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
How much did Sam sing, which maybe did Sam sink
that score wise.
Speaker 1 (34:03):
Sam with that, I don't know, and that's before we
rescored that sense that's kind of one of those old ones.
But yeah, that's a game that's kind of fallen. Then
I have twenty to three game for my third. I
have the super Blood wolf Moon game as four. That's
more of a personal touch. It was a great game,
just because that was huge for you. Going to the
super Bowl that week, made sure we had a documentary
that was anything. So there was a lot on that
and went to there was a whole thing. Miracle on
(34:25):
ice five is a little bit low for me, but
m I mean, I can see why here.
Speaker 4 (34:31):
Did I where's my Women's World Cup? I didn't have
a higher? Oh, we're gonna get to that, and we
have to look at why that's so low. You have
that in like the bottom five. There might be some
sort of thing that we can maybe we.
Speaker 1 (34:44):
Can see evidence alerical. It must be a clerical thing
here because I scored it low. We'll look at that,
you scored it real low. We'll talk about that it
was early and it was old, but whatever. So then
we're doing the last fifty, not the first fifty. Well,
it's all up for grabs. We'repe with constitutional convention. It's
(35:06):
all up for grabs. Another game I think, I think
has dropped like crazy, pretty eighteen and one. Eighteen and
one is a game I know Patriots fans that didn't
work out for Patriots fans is pretty That's the fucking
everyone remembers that game. Yeah, that's an iconic ing star
power the whole thing. So I have that as my sixth.
Then I have the Women's World Cup match in a
(35:27):
nine to seventh. I've got the Rams Patriots for Super
Bowl thirty six for eight. Then the Statue of Liberty game,
which is the game that is a is a top
ten game. I think that's gotten fall into the wayside.
Agree more. And then I have the two thousand and
Stanley Cup game seven Devils. I buy that's I mean,
that's a solid score. Yeah, I'm happy with my lists.
(35:50):
I would tweak some stuff.
Speaker 2 (35:52):
I respect.
Speaker 1 (35:53):
My numbers may be a little bit high, for sure.
I'm a positive guy. People know that about me. That's right.
Maybe last path full so audio YouTube audience which just
watched this on YouTube because it's gonna be a lot
of graphs. Yeah, it's fun to.
Speaker 2 (36:07):
Watch on YouTube. Sorry, why did I go six foot five?
Speaker 1 (36:11):
That's a great question. Let's die.
Speaker 2 (36:12):
That's that's that's what gotta be, right.
Speaker 1 (36:15):
So we're gonna stay. Okay, so's just YouTube audience.
Speaker 2 (36:16):
There's no way.
Speaker 3 (36:17):
I sat next to Brandy chast staying given scores and
gave her was on zoom.
Speaker 1 (36:22):
No way, and we didn't score with guests. Then remember
you scored afterwards with you and Sam would come to
a consensus and then since then we we scored that.
So here's my stage.
Speaker 2 (36:33):
So yeah, I guess didn't even score back then, Yeah,
I guess didn't score. I thought we're doing second fifty.
This what is the case of this thing?
Speaker 1 (36:40):
Why you got something to hide?
Speaker 2 (36:42):
No, but the first fifty we said like that was
like dog shit scoring system. Then I thought we were
doing this was for the second fifty primarily primarily there's
some stuff that slipped through the cracks and it's getting retrout,
double indemnity, double jeopardy, so all that stuff.
Speaker 1 (36:57):
Like so this is lawyery right out.
Speaker 2 (37:00):
I don't know what they mean.
Speaker 1 (37:01):
Wig okay, uh my motion put my motion is to
rescore the nineteen ninety nine Women's World Cup Final USA China,
Right now it's currently ranked twelve of our overall things.
Is a watershed moment for women's soccer, and I think
women's sports as a whole in America is inspired in
generations of women American girls, and I think athletes across
(37:24):
the world. It added to the soccer boom in general
in the United States. And for some reason, Jules has
scored this game six point four to five. So let's go,
let's just look at the tape. Let's look at the tape.
Were we twelve? Women's World Cup? Four point five is
not the total score? Your total score is? Yeah? Why
(37:45):
is it four point five? That's not correct? Where do
I get that from? See? Sorry Jeels? Sorry sustain sustained? Okay,
but anyway, I can the case.
Speaker 2 (38:00):
Case dismiss it.
Speaker 1 (38:01):
So I'm still saying the charges making our total numbers,
I think it's not your child. Where those Yeah, morning, bro,
that was the best? Wasn't Montela one too?
Speaker 2 (38:16):
Montel Murray, Jerry Springer the best? Godricky Lake, imagine with
that stuff too for a while. Man, you know what,
you skip school, bit school and watch that ship.
Speaker 1 (38:29):
Anyway, So just look at our numbers real quick. I
think there's some anomalies here that I think we should
retake a book at. I think the big standout here
is that both Jules and Jack scored the cultural relevance
of this game real low, and by real low, seven
point eight and seven point seven, respectively. I think game
play was also low.
Speaker 2 (38:48):
For a name, what was the name?
Speaker 1 (38:50):
It doesn't really have a great name.
Speaker 2 (38:52):
That's probably it's a Britney chestaing game in the sports
broad game something like that.
Speaker 1 (38:55):
You know what I mean, you guys really would have
been sports sports bar game. You guys just of puns?
Is that just what it is?
Speaker 2 (39:02):
I don't know just now, but what's up on there?
The sports bargain?
Speaker 1 (39:05):
I'm saying you scored it low because it never cool?
Speaker 2 (39:07):
Oh oh oh, I gotcha.
Speaker 1 (39:09):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (39:10):
I don't know what I was thinking back then.
Speaker 1 (39:11):
I was, well, she didn't score, that's you and Sam's
aggregate score is what that was. It was the show's
score beforehand, all the all the pre the first twenty four,
we guess didn't score verse forty eight, No twenty four. Well,
then what is this column?
Speaker 2 (39:28):
So this column is then mixed A kid that happens,
So this column is then mixed Jewels and Sam.
Speaker 1 (39:34):
Yeah, this is this was the show's score before we
like really like dialed in.
Speaker 2 (39:39):
Yeah, I just got to re score this thing totally.
See Yeah, let's rescore.
Speaker 1 (39:42):
So okay, so motion motion to nineteen Woman's World Cup. Yay, yay, yay, yay. Okay,
theya'ys have it. Okay, let's rescore this fucker.
Speaker 2 (39:53):
Is that legal? Jarget, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (39:57):
Steaks nineteen ninety nine Women's World Up.
Speaker 3 (40:02):
Nine point three, nine point three, especially who they playing, China, China, China, geopolitical.
Speaker 1 (40:11):
Well, Jack, you did yours first.
Speaker 2 (40:12):
Oh I got I'm gonna stay with my nine point five.
Nine five is a good score, but within star power,
I'm gonna tie this in. I like back when we
used to do the layout of the game differently. In
Sam had to read the Chinese roster.
Speaker 1 (40:23):
Yeah, he's like, what the fuck?
Speaker 2 (40:25):
He's like, he's like because I was like, saym break
down the China team.
Speaker 1 (40:29):
So it was tough.
Speaker 2 (40:32):
It was tough, And then that was what I really
look at me.
Speaker 1 (40:36):
I really had this dream that we could get players
from both sides of every game, and I thought there
was gonna be a lot of good insight on that.
I stand by that still, but like, logistically, it's fucking
it's hard to get jewels in a room, never mind
like two other athletes.
Speaker 2 (40:50):
So I really pushed China.
Speaker 1 (40:52):
I was pushing to get the goalie.
Speaker 2 (40:54):
She was like, she had been an assistant coach at
Florida State. We found we we did some digging. We
found her maybe one day. Yeah, and I READID this.
Speaker 1 (41:01):
Was a coin flip. And whether she spoke English, yes, Yeah.
My star power stays well in Jack nine five stays
I'm gonna stay with my nine seven geopolitically, that's a
great score. Yeah, okay, so star power nine two. You
understand counterpoint one half of the team has the stars.
(41:22):
That's that's our nocentric of you that in China those
women are stars too.
Speaker 2 (41:27):
They could they could be stars China.
Speaker 1 (41:29):
We don't know.
Speaker 2 (41:30):
We don't know anything about China.
Speaker 1 (41:31):
I'll see that point.
Speaker 2 (41:32):
So they could, for all we know be the cats
me out of that place, and.
Speaker 3 (41:37):
They probably are. That's a good point. I appreciate that,
you know, I don't you think outside the box, bro.
I think on the other side, what's it a while?
Speaker 1 (41:47):
Jack? You have you have a seventh nine does tools ethnocentrism.
Speaker 2 (41:52):
We're scrapping this. We are bumping that to Inn nine
point one.
Speaker 1 (41:57):
Nine point one.
Speaker 2 (42:00):
Has a name. Yeah, it's a name. The group has
the nine Man.
Speaker 1 (42:05):
Michelle Akers, Julie Foudy, great girls, great Brandy chest Brady Chestain,
m yam.
Speaker 2 (42:13):
Mar In there because he married her keeper. She was amazing.
Speaker 1 (42:20):
The fact that we can name this team that easily,
twenty five years later speaks to the volume of star Park.
Speaker 2 (42:27):
Yeah, no googles with down off the dose game. There's
no Caitlyn Clark.
Speaker 1 (42:31):
That's true, it would certainly be different. I think, yeah,
I really do this.
Speaker 3 (42:36):
That's how big this was for sport and women. I
agree because like that when she took her shirt off,
people were like, oh my.
Speaker 1 (42:46):
God, what the fuck is going on? What are these
women doing?
Speaker 2 (42:50):
They think, like and now like that ship just now,
girls are swagging out.
Speaker 1 (42:54):
Literally.
Speaker 2 (42:55):
I think it's a sport.
Speaker 1 (42:56):
She's something that gets lost in the sun. It was
a natural celebration taking the shirt off. Is like a
lot of people tried to like sexualize it in a
weird way or like make it like a gender thing.
But what she was doing was the celebration that all
the guys were doing at that point always, which was
taking their shirt off, and she was just like, we
are a part of it, right, so cool. So I
had an eight point five. I'm gonna do. I'm gonna
(43:16):
bump that up to an eight point eight of our
Chinese roster. Nice. Nice, that's their lucky number. They like
the eights. You ever go to You ever go to
a casino and it's like lucky, like dragon and all.
Like the betting numbers are in eighty eighty eight. I
never knew.
Speaker 2 (43:31):
Look at number? Do you think about it?
Speaker 1 (43:32):
Do you ever go to the super eighty eight market
in Boston? No?
Speaker 2 (43:37):
I gotta learn back better, dude.
Speaker 1 (43:39):
I've been watching Point the Gronk shows up on every
once in a while Vegas Matt. He's awesome. He's like
this old guy who just yeah, yeah, yeah, the shirt.
I know him. Grink, sorry said Grenk is there. I
think it's a fan old thing, but he always rocks back.
It's super easy when you understand what it is, basically
higher or low. You just want to get the highest
(44:01):
to ten without going over. Yeah, okay, eight eight Okay,
So then Jules, gameplay eight point one.
Speaker 2 (44:08):
I never forgot the game.
Speaker 1 (44:09):
It is soccer, so inherently it's lower no zero zero
tie right the whole time.
Speaker 2 (44:15):
But it went to pks. It went to PK's. That's
exciting though the last minute. There was a lot of
opportunity at the Rose Bowl two.
Speaker 1 (44:22):
I'd say eight point two, eight point two, okay, Jack
scores and I'm an eight point two. I like that.
Speaker 2 (44:30):
I think nothing just inherently nothing, nothing game. You can't
get it in the nine, so I'm comfortable with eight.
Speaker 1 (44:36):
Yeah, I'm gonna I'm the PK is very dramatic. It is,
but it's also not the game.
Speaker 2 (44:42):
How about I bump it up real quick color to
an eight four if you don't mind, Yeah, thank you.
Speaker 1 (44:46):
Okay, I'm gonna have five. I'm gonna stay with my
nine point five. It's a little high. I don't understand soccer,
but I know it was intense. I know going to
PK's golden goals the last minute was great. I love it.
Speaker 2 (45:01):
Okay, cultural impact aka name aka name, I meant, we
all know it. I gotta go eight eight. I'll give
you one extra point.
Speaker 1 (45:13):
No to the Chinese folk there it is. It's not
to the Chinese. We don't want no war, we want peace,
we want peace. Are you trying to start war with China?
Speaker 3 (45:21):
I'm obviously floating their tires right here, floating their tires.
I'm putting little air in those bad boys.
Speaker 2 (45:29):
Tire pumper, tire pumper, shut up? Is I gotta I
gotta bump mine up from a seven to seven?
Speaker 1 (45:34):
That's a little low ero. So what do you want
to be?
Speaker 2 (45:39):
Everyone knows this game. You will remember Brandy Chastain did
name this game in honor of Julie Foudy, the Battle
of the Bitches.
Speaker 1 (45:47):
Battle of the Bitches, pretty good? A little you like those?
Speaker 2 (45:50):
I like those. I like a literation like Julie Foudy.
I'm gonna say eight point nine bumping one point two points.
Speaker 1 (46:01):
I had a nine point five, and you know I'm
gonna stand firm with my nine point five.
Speaker 2 (46:04):
After I said eight point nine, I was like a
little low bull.
Speaker 1 (46:06):
Keep it okay? So new score is an eight point
nine nine? What was it before? Before it was an
eight point seventy three, and now it's an eight point
nine nine.
Speaker 2 (46:13):
I like that.
Speaker 1 (46:14):
I like that. Okay, Jack, state your case.
Speaker 2 (46:17):
I'm presenting if the court will allow it to rank
higher emotion to boost the ranking of the double comeback
aka the twenty fourteen AFC Divisional Round game between the
Baltimore Ravens and the New England Patriots. How does the
court rule on this one? I would like I think
this deserves to be higher.
Speaker 1 (46:37):
State your evidence. What is the score?
Speaker 2 (46:40):
The current score is twenty two on our list. That
current ranking, I should say, is twenty two, which means
the score of this total an eight point four to
four total. Yes, I think this game should be at
minimum in the top fifteen. Eight point four to four
I don't think is a bad score, but the ranking
(47:01):
of twenty two seems glaringly low to me.
Speaker 1 (47:05):
What do you guys think?
Speaker 2 (47:06):
Will you open it for rescoring?
Speaker 1 (47:08):
Do you have any statistical evidence two different fourteen point
comebacks in a playoff game?
Speaker 2 (47:14):
Everyone talks about twenty eight to three. Yeah, that was crazy,
that was all time. It's just this game.
Speaker 1 (47:20):
Also, are the very specific games that are ahead of
it that are vastly let.
Speaker 2 (47:25):
Mean double check here, but this game also included one
of the most iconic plays from the Patriots dynasty, the pass.
Speaker 1 (47:32):
How many divisional games are in the top fifteen.
Speaker 2 (47:40):
Ahead of this game?
Speaker 1 (47:43):
There is? This game is twenty second. Here I think
this is it. There's twenty twenty three Whales versus Chiefs.
There is the eleven AFC Championship game, which I think
of another Ravens game shouldn't be as high is this game.
Then there's the game these are, that's all AFC champions
(48:06):
The one division round game ahead of it is the
white Sweater game? Is the white sweater game? I mean
snowball too, where's the snowball? The snowball? Snowball too? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (48:21):
Yeah, the snowball started the dynasty. I mean this picked
it back up, this divisional game. But I don't think
there's enough evidence for us to go in and rescore this.
I'm gonna go with an A all right, Dak. Also,
I might go with an A here too.
Speaker 1 (48:35):
Wow. I agree that this is too low. I feel
like like the Hall of Fame. You're doing the Hall
of Fame thing, right? Is this worthy of being rescored? Yes?
Is it worthy of being a first ballot rescore? I
don't think so. I think that there are other ones
that need to be rescored if you want to.
Speaker 2 (48:53):
If we're if we're talking games here, everyone loves that
Malcolm Butler game number three on our list A nine
point three five I have without this game, there's no
numbers three on the list. Maybe there's no Malcolm Butler
just saying are.
Speaker 1 (49:08):
We going to start taking into like the butterfly effect,
just saying this game didn't happen. This game didn't happen,
and thus this game is important because it's the foundation
of another game that's too much though it's still a
divisional round game. Look at a little mister Modis over there.
Speaker 2 (49:26):
Thought I thought I thought I was in a home
of Patriots. I mean, this is the first.
Speaker 1 (49:32):
This is your first playoff game.
Speaker 3 (49:34):
No, this is the first playoff game for a team
that's got the first round by they've been sitting around
for two and a half weeks. How the steake's bigger
than a super Bowl?
Speaker 1 (49:45):
The nays have it all right, Sorry, we got good
case dismissed, So audience knows we did. With my Patriot fan,
we did more. We're gonna skip through this. I'm not
gonna I'm not gonna say my kids to the miracle
on ice. I believe the MI higher, so I'm not
gonna do that one. But know that maybe that's in
the next rescoring. I'm going to state my case is
(50:06):
my last state my case for the twenty eleven Stanley
Cup Final Game seven Bruins versus Canucks. Okay, here's my case.
The current rank of this game is sixty eighth. Wow.
My motion is to move rescore this game into rank
and higher. Here's my supporting evidence. It's a fucking Stanley
(50:29):
Cup Game final. Stanley Cup Final Game seven stakes. There's
not a lot of games that we've done with higher
stakes than this, at least on the playing surface. Bruins
first Stanley Cups is nineteen seventy two. Here's my statistical evidence.
The Cubs versus Indians that we did the game seven
World Series, the stakes is ranked nine point eight three. Now,
(50:53):
I also understand that that cups. The Cubs have one
hundred year drought, the Indians have a decades long drought.
But still, this is the same style of game a
Championship Game seven. It's all on the line. It's at
least as high as a as a Super Bowl. By
just purely and I purely just want to redo the
stakes of this game. We don't have to ope up
the whole thing, just redo the stakes of this game
(51:14):
right now. These are game slash matches that have a
higher stake numbers than this Stanley Cup Final Game seven.
There are four wrestling matches with higher stakes. There's a
wave with higher stakes. Death not life and death, fine,
but there's a wave. There are seven seven regular season
(51:35):
NFL games with higher stakes than this Game seven Stanley
Cup Final.
Speaker 3 (51:41):
Yeah, you got me for a rescore. I think it's
a rescore. Yay Jack, Just the stakes.
Speaker 1 (51:49):
I just say, let's just rescore the stake. Just rescore
the stakes. That's all I ask for here, Yay steaks.
I also vote, yeah, Okay, let's just what thing?
Speaker 2 (52:00):
Are we not going to just be like if it's
a Game seven or Super Bowl, it's a ten, you
know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (52:04):
Well, it should be at least a nine. I think
if a championship do or die go home both sides,
it should be at least to nine. It should be
ahead of wrestling.
Speaker 2 (52:13):
What are you talking about? You know how many hours
of writing goes into that. Yeah, and rehearsal.
Speaker 1 (52:17):
I've watched wrestling fifteen minutes. Fifteen minutes of wrestling goes
into ready these storylines.
Speaker 2 (52:22):
So we're gonna do the old Johnny Cochran here. If
there's a trophy on the line, it's at least a nine.
Speaker 3 (52:27):
Well, I mean you can have Jackie, you can have
your line and it's at least to nine.
Speaker 1 (52:34):
There it is. I'm with you. All I say is that,
like I'm not saying this needs to be the highest
stakes of all time, right, I understand hockey a different
to it.
Speaker 2 (52:43):
You said, yeah, Okay, okay, don't talk us out of it. Okay,
Jesus Christ guards, you're ready.
Speaker 1 (52:50):
To pull them blifflif Okay, So steaks, Jules has a
nine to three, Jack has a jack What do you
have for stakes?
Speaker 2 (53:00):
Seven point nine point nine?
Speaker 1 (53:01):
And then I have a nine point five? Okay, the stakes,
so let's redo the stakes and Chara, which was a steal.
The show's score was nine point three jewels nine point
three nine point three. Do you want to keep it? Yeah?
I have it as a nine point five. You know what,
I'm also going to keep that nine point five I
(53:21):
think is great for Game seven.
Speaker 2 (53:23):
Okay, I dig that.
Speaker 1 (53:24):
I'll go with a nine point one. Oh nine point one.
Speaker 2 (53:27):
Let's get him up in the night I do or die.
Game seven the Bruins hadn't won one in forty years
whatever it was forty one years.
Speaker 1 (53:35):
Okay, And I know I'm just saying just stakes alone,
but I'm gonna give Jack an opportunity if he wants.
I'll tell you, I don't mean this to be this Leake, Okay,
I don't care because Jack scores also our star Power
six gameplay seven.
Speaker 2 (53:47):
Fine, I mean name culture time winner in that game
right now, brad mer Shawn. I will say, when you
bring in the whole Riot game, you call it the
Riot game. You back to that in four is julo.
I will uh, I will admit that I don't know
what I was thinking. Do you feel comfortable doing this? Yeah,
I'll go with a. Uh, let's go eight point six
(54:08):
on this. Ooh, eight point six, I'll bump it up.
I think that's that's fair. That's a big I know
it's a big jump, but like that, that's a that's
a notable one. New score seven point six one. So
the Women's World Cup nineteen ninety nine moved into the
eighth spot, which is solid.
Speaker 1 (54:24):
Seems right, That feels right for that one.
Speaker 2 (54:25):
Seems fitting. And then the game seven, twenty eleven Stanley
Cup aka the Riot Game, if you will, moved into
the fifty eighth spot. So not a huge jump, but
we're making progress still too low, I think too low.
I'm I'm happy with the democratic process, agreed. I think
we can we can even open it up again. On
the next reasoning layer, it's too low. I do too
(54:46):
bro I said that earlier.
Speaker 3 (54:47):
I think layers are a load too Dyapple Diappo, day Apple,
day Apple, Day Apple, day Apple, and the wave smacks
like his wave right against a reef.
Speaker 2 (54:57):
When's what's your best way? The next one that was fun.
Speaker 3 (55:03):
That was really more of that though. It's good as
got everyone doing more of that. Maybe in a couple
of post games. We just started changing ship.
Speaker 1 (55:09):
Yeah, I like that. Changing laws.
Speaker 2 (55:11):
That's a fun post game.
Speaker 1 (55:12):
I like that as a chill zone segment of like
stating the case for changing some stuff. Yep, not having
to wait fifty games to do something. Yeah, good, well,
I love that.
Speaker 2 (55:21):
We'll be right back after this quick break.
Speaker 3 (55:24):
It's time for the chill Zone, brought to you by
corps like cors Light delivered straight.
Speaker 1 (55:29):
To your door.
Speaker 3 (55:29):
Oh God, Visitcoorslight dot com, slash gwn and celebrate responsibly.
Speaker 2 (55:34):
It's time.
Speaker 3 (55:35):
It's a foamer today for the second quasi Annual Games, All.
Speaker 1 (55:42):
The Stars are out where's the trophies? Yeah, all the
stars are out there in their best the flash bowls,
the Hollywood for and the Nuts.
Speaker 2 (55:50):
Hollywood Nuts voted, and the boys from Ernst and Young
have delivered the briefcases with the sealed results.
Speaker 1 (55:57):
The best picture is Moonlight, all right.
Speaker 2 (56:01):
The Danny DeVito Award for least talked About Game, and
the nominees are Nikki Glazer for the White Sweater Game,
Danny DeVito for the twenty sixteen World Series, and Bill
Burr for Monday Night Marino. He basically talked about my
(56:23):
nurse shoes the whole time. Guy, I'd never seen a
pair of white sneakers before coming. I've never seen some rebuks, buddy, Yeah,
get with it, Dud's co Bill, Sorry, I'm not wearing
some Doc Martins.
Speaker 1 (56:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (56:34):
I mean this guy literally from where they manufacture the shoe.
Speaker 2 (56:38):
Come on, Bill, and the winner and the winner is
winner isoy. We'll have to send that one to Danny.
He couldn't be here to accept the award tonight, so
on his behalf, Julian will collect the award.
Speaker 1 (56:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (56:56):
We think jersey Mike's jersey Mike is Yeah, when he
puts on the little glasses.
Speaker 1 (57:08):
It's the oil.
Speaker 2 (57:10):
Moving forward for our next award, the second annual Ernie
Adams Award for Most Knowledgeable Celebrity Fans Most Knowledgeable.
Speaker 1 (57:20):
And the nominees are nomination.
Speaker 2 (57:22):
He Jackson Junior knew a lot about that wrestling ship.
Speaker 1 (57:26):
I will say his celebrity, his sports is NFL fandom.
A little bit on my radar, real little sad, a
little bit on my radar.
Speaker 3 (57:35):
You gotta think about it, trying to go against his dad,
his dad, Like, that's what kids do, like my kid,
like Lily likes the fucking Chiefs.
Speaker 1 (57:44):
Yeah, that's a problem. You gotta snuff that out now,
Like you.
Speaker 2 (57:47):
Know what I mean, These these kids that come from
other kids, other people that do other things, like they
sometimes like want you want to go against your dad?
Speaker 1 (57:56):
Yeah, so I don't, don't. I don't.
Speaker 3 (57:58):
Second thing in La come into the rams coming out here,
true was exciting. Can't get Madam will.
Speaker 1 (58:04):
Was a little too Dodger curious the other day too, well,
snuff that one out too.
Speaker 2 (58:09):
She was liking the Dodgers. But what did she do
at the game? She rocked that giant like real one, guys,
anytime they do it let's go Dodgers. Chance she goes,
Let's go Giants. She came around, she was rapping Dodgers
wearing the orange bright who else we got here?
Speaker 1 (58:23):
He also had?
Speaker 2 (58:24):
That was Oh Jackson Junior for the I Quit match,
John bon Jovie, You lie right?
Speaker 1 (58:32):
And now I didn't know he influenced.
Speaker 2 (58:34):
He really did.
Speaker 1 (58:34):
He induced mister Kraft to Bill Belichick.
Speaker 3 (58:37):
He basically was the good luck charm on the sideline,
was in team meetings and yeah, yeah, making teas for
the guys. Who else and Ed O'Neill for Super Bowl nine?
Speaker 2 (58:49):
Guy guy was basically steeler.
Speaker 1 (58:51):
He basically had a cup of coffee, cup of covin
the big time and the winner winner is John.
Speaker 2 (59:00):
Get here at JBJ JBJ. Obviously he was. He knew
stories that probably shouldn't have been said. Yeah he was
brackically on the team that year. Might have gotten a ring,
who knows.
Speaker 1 (59:14):
But now he's got a game. Me to go with it.
Speaker 2 (59:15):
What's our next award?
Speaker 1 (59:16):
Jack?
Speaker 2 (59:16):
The next award? The first annual don't mess with them award.
This is someone you don't want to cross. If they
give a low score, you don't want to question our
high score. You don't want to question it. These are
These are the protectors of the nuthouse, if you will,
if if somebody trouble comes up in this door. We
feel comfortable having them around, real comfy. And the nominees
(59:37):
are Howie Long how he?
Speaker 3 (59:39):
I mean, I feel comfortable anytime I'm around him. Cases
feel safe.
Speaker 2 (59:43):
He's case in the room. He knows everywhere the entrance.
Speaker 1 (59:46):
He ran a cul to sack, ran a cull a sack.
Speaker 3 (59:49):
Oh he knew the exit points. Oh yeah, he looked.
He We're in a cult de sack. Here he went.
First thing, he said, can I see the backyard? He
wanted to see where he could get out, just in
case there was some Shiit. Also the cargo long pant.
That's tactical, all right? Who else we got.
Speaker 2 (01:00:04):
Chuck Liddell, the iceman.
Speaker 1 (01:00:07):
You might not understand them, but you don't mess with him.
Speaker 2 (01:00:10):
That guy.
Speaker 3 (01:00:11):
I still can't believe people try to bow up to
him at a soccer game.
Speaker 2 (01:00:16):
You got another thing coming, brother. Anytime you see a
mohawk in a a fanny pack and some arms, you
gotta let it go. Ever, since I saw Johnny Drama
test him in that episode Entourage.
Speaker 1 (01:00:27):
Hangout, he was telling some great stories. And who else? Jack?
And last we have Charlotte Flair a k. The Queen,
the Queen. See what did.
Speaker 2 (01:00:42):
I gotta say? Charlotte rock loved having great she was
so cool. We gotta get her back some day. Charlotte
the Queen with her. That's a big win. Maybe it
was a stacked category you Jack, Oh, Charlotte, Yeah, no,
the guy the Hollywood fordn Nuts.
Speaker 1 (01:01:03):
I'm just reading the steel envelope. Yeah, it did seal
the envelope.
Speaker 2 (01:01:06):
Yeah, I have nothing to do. I have Ernst and
young brother. They come in, they're they're credited the.
Speaker 1 (01:01:14):
Tyler.
Speaker 2 (01:01:14):
How about the next one right now?
Speaker 1 (01:01:16):
That should be how long's it's the moonlight moment. It's
how long you mess with?
Speaker 2 (01:01:21):
How long?
Speaker 1 (01:01:23):
Anyway? We'll shoot whatever. It doesn't matter, all right, Hollie,
I didn't say this.
Speaker 2 (01:01:26):
The Mark Twain Storytelling Award, the nominees these are for
the the best storyteller, and the nominees are Matt Light.
We all remember his legendary appearance in the Nuthouse rich Ornberger,
another great storyteller, another great orator, if you will, and
Scott Poli back in Nuthouse East. He could have talked
(01:01:47):
all day. He was telling us every great Patriots story ever. Yeah,
there's a Teddy Teddy k also should.
Speaker 1 (01:01:55):
Have been a nomina, uh, Patricia.
Speaker 3 (01:01:58):
Basically the diamond or the best storytellers, the ones you
don't hear from. That's right, they got you are the
best goddamn talker.
Speaker 1 (01:02:04):
They got a vault in the next year. This should
become the Nico Kudavidis storytelling and then.
Speaker 3 (01:02:10):
Winter coach Coach late said it though in Dudes on
Dudes he goes no. I mean we kept him around
during a Super Bowl. Bill flew him out right, Yeah,
just to tell stories and to keep the morale up.
Next we have the Jeff Ross Award. We love Jeff
(01:02:33):
the Rosemaster General. The Jeff Ross Award for roasting Julian.
These are the guests that came in the nuthouse, didn't
pull any punches. They didn't care whose house they were in.
They were letting it fly. The nominees are Nikki Glazer.
She got a lot of her roasting out of the
way at the roast. She brought a little bit of
it to the nut office. Bill Burr we mentioned earlier,
Nurse his shoes and Stavros Alkius. We all remember he
(01:02:57):
came in here talking to his Ravens Baltimore. He was
he got on you for your condiment choices all that. Yeah, Ranch,
everyone knows Ranch is better than Tahini.
Speaker 2 (01:03:08):
To Zeke, same thing to Zeke. And the winner is Jacket.
Speaker 1 (01:03:13):
This is Nicky Glazer Bilber Bilber Bill. Of course Bill.
Speaker 2 (01:03:21):
We'll get him back when he comes in here next time.
We'll have our m O ready guy store moment.
Speaker 1 (01:03:27):
What is what is next?
Speaker 2 (01:03:29):
The next award is the Sam Morrel Memorial Award for
Best Future Guest. If you guys are fans of the show,
the category and the nominees have not changed since the
fiftieth three scoring episode. We're still out to these bad boys.
The nominees are the New England Patriots former head coach.
We all know who that is, former head coach of
(01:03:51):
the New England Patriots, like kr u NC head coach.
Speaker 1 (01:03:55):
Football.
Speaker 2 (01:03:56):
That is Sam Morrel himself, Sam and Tom Brady. Tom
Brady and the baby, the reigning champamp. Come on back, baby.
What's our next? What's our next award? And then our
next award is the Derek Jeter Gift Basket Award. This
(01:04:18):

type award. A lot of guests show up with a
