Speaker 1 (00:02):
Welcome to ghost therapy, where it's not just about connecting
with deceased loved ones, it's about learning through them and
their new perspective. Hi, guys, welcome to ghost Therapy. I'm
Paula Prosa. Thank you so much for being here. Guess
what this is the last episode of the season. Yes,
(00:26):
number twenty five, and we are so happy you joined us.
We are so happy you gave us a chance. And
I don't know, it's been such a learning experience. I
had never done a podcast, and you know, a company
approached me and said, you know, I've had a reading
with you, and you know, I like it a.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
Lot, would you want to do a podcast? I'm like, okay,
And we had.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
What I did is that I gave everybody in the
companies that are together I Heart Radio and Sono, and
I said, okay, let me do a reading for you guys,
so you know, I'm legit, you know, and let's see
what happens. So I gave everybody a reading, you know,
the producers and everybody, and they all came together and
(01:13):
they said, I really felt like it was a therapy,
and everybody started saying, oh my god, me too. I
really felt that and a lot of people had already
told me in the past that they always feel like
they're coming back from therapy when they're coming back from
the show, I mean from my reading. And so they
decided to go with ghost Therapy. I think it was
(01:35):
very adequate.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
I love the name. They asked me, you know, do
you like it. I'm like, I love it.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
I think it really comes together and it really talks
about what the show is in two words. And so
we got started and it has been such a ride.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
It has been.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
The thing is that being in front of a microphone
instead of being in front of you on FaceTime. You know,
it really is different. I feel pressure, even if you
don't believe it. I feel pressure to do it right.
And you know, I still get those butterflies, which is
wonderful because if you don't get butterflies and you're doing
(02:15):
the wrong thing, you know. And we had so many experiences.
For example, well, the first one we did it was crazy.
His name was Curly, and he had a pact with
his grandmother that if he died or she died, they
would flick the lights at one point in their lives.
(02:36):
So we're doing the reading and then suddenly everything disconnects
from from the studio and on his side, he was
recording too, and he's like, oh my god, the lights
are flickering.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
M h whoa my My lights in my living room
just flickered.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Oh oh no, Ola, Lola.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
Hill, You're gonna love this. This is really funny. So
I hi everyone too. I don't know if you want
to record or whatever, but my signal for my grandma
is flickering lights, and my lights just started flickering, and
then the internet went out.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
Oh my god, that's that is that's that is what happens.
So yeah, that that's what happened to Curly And that
(04:03):
was amazing. That wasn't scary. That was just the Grandma
coming through like she promised. It was amazing. There was
also this wonderful, wonderful artist named Cheeky's Rivera and it
was such a trip because when somebody is so so famous,
(04:24):
a lot of things are in the press already, and
what I have to do. My challenge is, you know,
tell her things that nobody else knows. And it's a
big challenge because you know everything. And so I was
able to give her a reading where I told her
about something that happened that nobody else knew about it.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
Take a listen, this.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
Is gonna say weird. Maybe you know what I'm talking about.
But she's showing me a lot of bees. But she's
smiling almost like smirking or smiling. Were you like stung
by a bee or something and it's an inside joke
or something. But I'm like a lot of bees.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
Yes, you know, it's so crazy. I love bees. I
love bees like you think of a butterfly, and it
represents my mom and bees are something that I feel
that I identify with very much. And not only that,
but on her birthday I had a party for It
(05:41):
was my party before I got married, and it was
on her birthday, July second, and for the first time
in my life, a bee stung me that day and.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
I don't know why, but I was like, is it
my mom? Is she here?
Speaker 4 (05:56):
Because it was her birthday? So that is I don't know,
it's so crazy. I haven't shared ever.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
You're good now you had to.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
Maybe maybe that was her because she, like I said,
she was smirking.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
You know what. Those are the things that I love
about this job.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
When I can bring to, you know, bring up someone
that passed away together with somebody here on earth with
us with a story.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
It's so wonderful because they're like, oh my god, she
is legit.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
Because I know that a lot of people maybe you know,
don't believe or maybe are a little skeptic.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
It happens a lot. I don't, you know.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
I don't take it personally because maybe if I didn't
have this, I would be skeptic too, you know. And
so she she even said she was like, I was
very wary about it, and then suddenly I started telling
her things and she was like, oh my god.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
And when you do those, you know, those type of stories,
like for example, with him, I was able to sing
a little song that she said that her mom sang
to her, and it was mind blowing.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
Take a listen. She's singing a song. It's like sunshine,
or like you are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You
make me happy whence guys are great. Was that a
(07:40):
song that you got together? Oh my gosh.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
Yes, yeah, that was our song. She used to sing
it to me all the time.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
If you get a chance to go on to my
Twitter or Instagram Bedrosa Paola, you can see all these clips.
So you can see what the reaction is because you
hear it, but when you see it, it's it hits differently.
So check out that one with Kim You'll really like it.
(08:23):
So yeah, the people that work with me, you know,
they're like a little scared. I would love for you
to know a little bit about my background. I am
forty five years old and I have always been an
actress and a television host.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
I sang for maybe two.
Speaker 1 (08:43):
Minutes, but oh my god, no, it was a terrible experience.
It's so hard to make it in the music world,
so hard, and I wasn't you know, I didn't want
to do that type of work, so I kind of
shied away from music. But I have been living professionally
(09:03):
from this, from acting and hosting television shows for twenty years.
I've always been a medium. I've been a medium since
I was approximately six or seven years old. And just
imagine a girl of seven years old having all these
Like my parents thought I was having just like little
(09:28):
maybe visions or maybe nightmares. But imagine forty forty years ago,
there was no information about this. Maybe witches or something
like that, but not mediums. So you know, they were
very worried. The thing is that I was so scared.
(09:48):
Remember the movie sixth Sense when the little boy goes
running to her mom because he sees a lot of things.
I wouldn't see bad things. I would just see people.
But come on in the middle the night, it was
like what the hell? So I would run, run, run
to my mom, and my mom says, I was always
really really cold, and I was actually freezing or shaking.
(10:10):
But I was shaking because I was so scared. But they,
you know, I would tell them, but they thought it
was a nightmare. And you know, it went on for
a while. Then around my teens, they kind of left
me alone a little to have a normal life. And
then my first out of uh out of town job
(10:30):
was in Los Angeles and I went to do a
show there and I moved by myself, and I was
this time. It was the first time I was by myself,
and suddenly a lot of you know, ghosts appeared. And
these ghosts were seemed very familiar to me because because
I had seen them before when I was little. I'm like,
(10:51):
what do they want? Very specific ones and another type
of ones, and I was like, oh God, I got
so and I tried to get out of my room
and I burned my hand with the knob, which was
really like, there was nothing happening.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
I'm like, maybe there's a.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
Fire on the other side. I don't know, but no,
it was nothing. I got a towel, I opened it up.
I turned on the TV in the living room, and
then it would turn off, and I would turn it on,
it would turn off.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
So the whole time, probably from like maybe twelve to
five in the morning, I was outside on the steps
of my house.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
I couldn't go in. I was so scared. Oh yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
So we finally found a medium. A cousin of mine, Alessandra,
told my mom, she's like, maybe you know she's a
medium or psychic or she sees things. You know, my
husband knows somebody that's like that. Why don't we take
her to her to him? And they took me to
(11:54):
him and he changed my life basically because he told
me he was like, he did a reading for me.
So my uncle came down, my cousin he knew everything
about me. I was like, oh my god, what the hell?
And I cried a lot, and he said, look, this
is what being a medium is. And you are a medium,
(12:16):
and you are a psychic, and it's a very important responsibility.
Not everybody has it, but you have to develop it
because God gave you this and you have to take
advantage of it because he wants you to help people.
Oh my god, I didn't know what to say. It
was just a lot to take in.
Speaker 3 (12:36):
You know.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
I was approximately twenty one or twenty two, so I
was pretty young. Yeah, I like twenty two. And so
I started reading some books and I started practicing with
a certain amount of people, people that wouldn't judge me,
people that would tell me the truth, you know, if
I was wrong about something, and yeah I was wrong
(12:59):
about one thing.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
I was right about one thing.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
You know. It was just practice and practice and practice,
and every time I got better and better and better.
So it really took me like maybe ten years to
kind of so that I could say that I'm a professional,
you know, maybe ten or twelve years. And it was
a hard road because I used to get really nervous.
(13:23):
But now it's like it's fun, you know, it's fun,
and it's so rewarding to get people connected to their
loved ones.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
And well that kind of tells you.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
It's a little telling if you're with somebody that's faking
it or that's real.
Speaker 2 (13:46):
Try to not talk a lot on your readings.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
That way, they don't use your words, turn them around
and give you, you know, supposedly give you information. And
it's really funny because a lot of people have gone
to you know, these we call them in Spanish ta
latanis basically people that say there's something and they're not
(14:10):
I don't know how to say it in English. And
always they tell you, listen, there's somebody that envies you
so much they actually put a curse on you. That's
why you're having problems. Uh duh. That's why you go
to a psychic because you're having problems. So right there,
you're like.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
Oh, how did you know I'm having problems?
Speaker 1 (14:33):
And they go and you know what, she's very close
to you. She's like a cousin or like a best friend.
And there I am like thinking and thinking, oh my god,
I must be this one might Yeah she must be
jealous of me. Yeah, she must be jealous. And I'm
like burning my brain out because I'm thinking, who would
(14:54):
be jealous of me?
Speaker 2 (14:55):
Of course nobody was jealous of me.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
The thing is that at the end they're like, if
you want to for you know, three hundred dollars more.
I can take away that spell that they put on you,
so everything will go great for you and a lot
of people.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
And if you're laughing right.
Speaker 1 (15:13):
Now, you're one of them fall into the trap, you know,
and they make you it's very it's very mean because
they make you think like if you don't pay them,
then they're gonna do something to you. You know that
they have the power to make it worse, to make
your problems worse. So you go and you get the
(15:35):
three hundred dollars and then two months later they call
you up and they're like, you haven't given me two
hundred dollars And they're like, but that wasn't the pact. Yeah,
but you know, so I can keep protecting you and
people will like I have seen things. There's this man
that gave a card to a psychic because he's like,
(15:56):
I don't have any more money. I'm just gonna give
you my card, just keep iteting me. Imagine all those
people how much money they make. I, on the other hand,
go to the exact opposite.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
I am a very.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
Let's say, low budget psychic. I've decided to do that
because I'm like three hundred dollars cheaper than any other psychic.
I really made a decision to not charge a lot
because I really really want to help and there's a
lot of people that need this and can't afford it.
(16:32):
Hell I can't afford it a psychic online. They're so expensive.
So you know, I decided to go that route, and
I'm very very happy I did because I know that
it's coming from the heart, and I know that whatever
I'm saying, you know, is true. And sometimes sometimes readings
(16:54):
go your way. Sometimes they don't go your way, and
that's okay too. And sometimes the energy, like there's a
lot of times that we just can't get through it.
It's like the microphone dies, you know, I can't hear
them correctly and right there. So I would be like,
oh my god, Okay, another day and that's it, and
(17:15):
I would be like very sad or like embarrassed. But
now I know that it's a lot It has to
do with energy. It has to do like maybe they
didn't want it to be contacted that day, because if
they're contacted on next Wednesday, they have a story to
tell or something happens, and usually that's what happens and
it's crazy. It's like, oh, no, wonder we couldn't get
(17:38):
through the other day. It's because this happened and we
needed to talk about it with my uncle or with
my grandfather. And then I know, I'm like, wow, it
is it is like it is how they wanted to go.
Because a lot of people think, Okay, I want to
hear the answers to the questions that I want, and
(17:58):
it's not what you want to hear, it's what you
need to hear, and that changes the dynamic.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
A lot.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
A lot of people come with like twenty questions, and
I said, I always tell them, you know, wait a
little minute, like fifteen minutes twenty minutes into the session
before you ask the questions. That that way you can
see that I'm legitimate and that you're actually talking to
the person you want to talk to based on what
I'm saying. And they're like, okay, so I start talking.
(18:27):
I start talking. At the end, I'm like, oh my god,
I forgot you had some questions. They're like, nope, you
answered them all. And that's because you know they're they're.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
Always with us.
Speaker 1 (18:39):
These they're not ghosts, you know, whatever forms of energy
past ones. They're always with us, so you don't think
they're in the back looking at the questions that we
wrote down and answering answering them.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
That's the way it works.
Speaker 1 (18:56):
We always think people talk about dimensions, they talk about heaven,
they talk you know, you want to believe what you
want to believe, that's fine.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
But they're here with us.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
They don't have a body to prove it, but they're
always here, and you can prove it by asking them
like what did I do yesterday?
Speaker 2 (19:14):
Or what did I do ten years ago?
Speaker 1 (19:16):
And the answer the answer because they're up to date
with everything that has to do with you.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
So always ask, always ask.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
You know something that would trigger that would you would
know exactly that that's the person that you want to
talk to. And that's how you know that you're with
somebody legitimate. So be careful out there. There's a lot
of people like that. But you know, most of all,
(19:45):
what I'm very thankful for is that you gave us
a chance and hopefully you believed a little bit more
about this thing that's called mediumship, which you know, not
a lot of people have, but right now we are
awakening and a lot of people now have all these
(20:07):
abilities that they're like, oh my gosh, what's happening to me?
Just you know, if you're out there and you know
you see things or you know, go to a psychic,
Go to a psychic, go to a medium, and let
them know what's happening to you, and let them ask
them to tell you what's next. You know, it could
(20:28):
be to read a book to get you started on mediumship.
It could be to practice, it could be a lot
of things. I give webinars about once every two months
to all those people that you know, they're like, I
see things, something, things happen, I dream things, but I
(20:49):
don't know what to do. So I kind of, you know,
give them a little one, two, three of what to
do some steps and it's crazy because they're all so
good at it. So, you know, I hope that this
serves you as an awakening if you're listening to it,
because we are born with this and God gave us
(21:12):
this gift for something, and it's to help to help
other people and to inspire. So get out there and
learn your craft that way you can help other people
that need it.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
I'm so glad. I'm so glad I was in this project.
Speaker 1 (21:28):
Hopefully we come back for a second season and we
can do more things with different people. I would love
to hear some stories if you can hit me up
at my Instagram at Pedrosa Paola with a Z.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
And give me.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
Don't give me your stories because the less I know
the better, But if you have, like a really unique story,
please hit me up so we can start getting together
all those stories for next for next season.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
And let me know.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
If you like listening to influencers, to famous people. What
is it that you like. I would love, love, love
love to know. Don't forget to hit us up. You
know in Spotify, iHeartRadio app wherever you get your podcast,
please write a review for us. I would really appreciate it.
(22:21):
That would help us to get a second season. Tell
me what you want to see, what you don't want
to see, what you actually what you want to hear.
The reason I said see is because I would love
for this to go the next level and we can
see the readings because it just hits differently, and just.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
Let us know.
Speaker 1 (22:42):
And if you like it, give us some stars, give
us some reviews. That would help us so so much.
And if you didn't like it, then just don't say
anything I'm kidding, No no, no, please please let us
know where there's room to grow. And we are definitely
reading everything good as smooch.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
Best toes, but well, tim are ultim are program. Bye
mhm
