Speaker 1 (00:02):
Welcome to Good Game with Sarah Spain, your one stop
shop for the biggest stories in women's sports. Every day,
I'm going to bring you the stories, steaks, stars and
stats to keep up with your favorite women's teams.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Leagues, and athletes.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
I'll be joined by experts, analysts, and some funny friends
to break down the latest news, talk about the games
you can't miss, and debate the issues of the day.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
We'll also feature interviews with the people.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Of the moment, whether they're athletes, coaches, reporters, or celebrity fans. Now,
if you're new to women's sports, welcome, can't wait to
show you around. If you've been around, let's make things
nice and comfy for our new friends.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Huh, it's a party, after all.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Where else but women's sports can we get a bottomless
mimosa brunch with our game tickets or prosecco on tap?

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Shout out the Washington Mystics and Lewis FC.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Where else but women's sports do we see a player
passing her ex wife on the WNBA's all time leading
score list and then watch her new fiance teammate MVP
candidate talk about it afterward on Sports Center?

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Shout out to Wanna Bonner and Alyssa Thomas. The T,
the T is so good.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Wow. We want good game to be just like women's sports,
the best of the competition, teamwork, achievement, rivalry, excitement, and
pageantry that we love about all sports, minus the toxic
masculinity and the drunken brawls. Because when I walk into
a high level women's game or event like an NWSL
or PWHL game, a party at WNBA All Star weekend,

(01:37):
I look around and think, all right, fine, maybe a
couple assholes snuck in here, but I bet I'd like
to hang out with almost everybody in this place.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
These are my people. This is the good place.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Good game is where we go to celebrate, debate, dissect,
spotlight and highlight them.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Now, just in case you're.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Getting a little worried this is all too nice, I
promise we're not going to be cheerleaders. We're going to
talk our shit when we need to because we know
sometimes players or leagues or media folks aren't gonna get
it right. We'll get into it because if you've ever
been an athlete, you know that not everything feels like
a good game. We're gonna make sure to embrace those
moments too. You know, good game, good game for few,

(02:15):
good game. We've all been there. You're not gonna want
to miss anything, So hit subscribe and watch this feed.
