ant man is with me. We're sitting here and we're

It is as Christians, it's hard to know where the
line in the sand is between being in the world
and not of the world. And as a Christian artist,
you know, I dress kind of like the world. I
kind of look like the world. My music can kind
of sound like the world. So where's the line of
the sand drawn? And I'm convicted personally that a line
that I can draw is that I will not receive
a trophy for something that is from Jesus and for Jesus.

And I was wrestling with this last year. I even
said that on stage at the Double Wards. I said,
I'm still struggling with the concept of this word, but
all glory to Jesus, every name will fade away, including mine,
except for one name. But I feel a conviction to
go even a step further and say, I don't know
if I even want to step on the stage.

I don't know if I want to step in the room.

And so I have decided to take a stance of
non participation. I will not be attending the doves or
the Grammys. I hope to me an example to the
youth that the trophy is our salvation. The trophy is
that my name is listed in the Book of Life
and I get to have eternal life. What good is
a piece of metal going to do compared to that?

Okay, so we've we've talked about it. Hey did you
see that, But we haven't had a discussion about thoughts
on that video.

What's your immediate thought? Well, watch it together? Okay, a
couple couple of things. Let me just let me address
the last thing that he said, just because it's important.
The treasure would not be our salvation or that our
names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life. The
treasure would be Christ.

Yes, the treasure hidden in the field that a man
found and covered up, then in his joy goes and
sells all that he hasn't buys that field. He is
the treasure.

we exalt. And so for us, Frank probably knows that
he just made that video off the cuff, but I
wanted to. I just wanted to give glory where to

and I do believe that he knows that it's okay.
Second thought saying sorry I had to say that. Second
thought is that I believe he's right on this, and
I think the Lord has sanctified him in that specific way.
I think that he's feeling a conviction and and he is.
He is taking the the leap of faith, a step

toward in obedience, towards acting on that conviction that the
Holy Spirit has given him. To sit out this season.
He might I had come back one season and go
to a special awards event later. So I don't want
to speak to the future. But right now the Lord
has crushed him in that and I know that feeling

the Lord has crushed me in many things, and the
Lord crushed me so much so that I didn't go
to I didn't participate in anything. I left everything that
maybe the path that Forrest is on, it could, it
might be, but it only starts with something like this
long story short. What he said is it feels to

those who are being saved, it is the power of God.

if you're not a Christian, all you really take from
this is this Jesus. Thing's cool. Let's be like him
and give to the poor, you know, let's like get
on a stage and make our name big and his

Jelly Rell is not a Christian and forced, frank is
that that? I mean? That's it. There's really not one.
One is flowing from one spot in their in their
responses and their their ideas, and one is flowing through another.

And it's for for Jelly. I've you know, I know
Jelly personally, and I once was where he was all
of all of all Christians were once where jelly rell is,
and so the the you know, first Corinthian says that
that the word of the cross is folly to those
who are perishing.

So specifically the gospel, the idea that our our Savior,
our King, our redeemer, our rescuer is hanging on a
halfnked on, beat up skin, hanging off, blood pouring out,
and he's dying. That's ridiculous, that's just silly. That's folly,

like the translate comes from the apostle Paul. But to
those who are being saved, it is the power of God.

So others hear it and go. Our Savior, our suffering Savior,
died in place of my sin so that I could
become the righteousness of God through that substitution. He rises
on the third day showing that this sacrifice was worthy
and that it was finished and done, and then he

calls all people to repent and look to him as
the risen King, you know, the Lord of lords. Once again,
if you're not a Christian, all you really take from
this is this Jesus. Thing's cool. Let's be like him
and give to the poor, you know, let's like get
on a stage and make our name big and his
let's make Heaven crowded, as some people say, and Forrest

Frank's going, Ugh, I need to as John the Baptist said,
I need to decrease so that he could increase, right, right,
And those two things just don't those two ideas don't
work together so that they're having a discussion. The reason
I laughed is because it's like we said in the

response from someone who professes to be a believer to.

Attitude, which is very easy to do back to the
person who had the attitude towards you.

Yeah, it's it in my life. It works one hundred
percent of the time to make my soul settle. And
Jesus says in Luke, to do good to those who
hate you. Love your enemies, and do good to those

who hate you. And Luke six, why does he say that?
Does he say that because it's some like legalistic way
to make us more christ like? Or does does following
that commandment benefit us in any way? Oh? Try it.

If you're a Christian and you're trusting in Christ for
your salvation, try loving your enemy and doing good to
those who hate you. And see how you go to
sleep that night. You sleep like a baby. Now, try
to resist and try to push back and say no,
you don't like. Imagine Forrest Frank saying, hey, jelly roll,

you know, why don't you? Why don't you try to
read your Bible every once in a while? Huh want you? Hey,
jelly roll, how about you go to church every once
in a while and then start talking. Hey, jelly roll,
maybe if you even knew anything about the Gospel, you
would know that I'm a Christian and you're not.

You know, like, well, think about the same exact same
response in different words and attitude.

He said. He didn't say rebuke what he said. I'm

used that I'm willing to be corrected in any way.
So I appreciate you reaching out. And I always need
to be looking inward at the sin that could be,
the pride that could be welling up in me. I
need to be As a Christian, we're constantly eradicating sin.
We're constantly weeding that garden because we're sinners, and the

weeds grow. And so when someone, even a non Christian,
says something, we need to immediately look inward and go,
is that my pride wanting to slash out?

Lord forgive me, Lord helped me to be more like
Christ in this instance. And when that's your prayer, then
you do what Christ says. And Luke six and love
your enemies, do good to those who hate you, and
you sleep like a baby.
