Speaker 1 (00:01):
When many of us were young, we used to fantasize
about the day when we would finally be an adult,
when we live on our own, spend our money on
exactly what we want, and eat pizza bagels for breakfast, lunch,
and dinner, no one to tell us what to do
or how to do it.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
And then one day we're there, only this time wishing
someone had given us a guidebook for what to do
and how to do it.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Well.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Welcome to grown Up Stuff How to Adult, a new
podcast from iHeartRadio. Hey there, I'm Mollie. I enjoy eating
enormous bowls of pasta, watching Jurassic Park, and playing with
adorable puppies. I am a hopeless millennial who is stumbling
blindly through life, all while learning how to be a
more responsible adult and better human.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
And I'm Matt, and I have a confession to make.
The tax guy my friends think I use is actually
my dad, so clearly faking it, has not been making it,
and it's high time I actually figure out how to
be an adult.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Matt, It's okay, because I've got great news for you. Together,
as the hosts of this helpful little podcast, we'll discover
everything grown Ups should know even if they don't. In
each episode, we'll talk about a different facet of adult
life and to help us understand what we should be
doing and how we'll invite experts. In wedding stuff, is

(01:23):
it ever appropriate to wear an all white outfit to
a wedding?

Speaker 2 (01:27):
If it hasn't been an instruction, I would not do it.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Money things, there's misunderstanding of how important time is in
the accumulation of wealth. Cleaning tips things like light switches
or handles pick up bacteria.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
That's how you can spread things like coldes and flu,
and so much more. Helping us break it all down
to the simplest forms so that we can finally begin
to tackle our mature years.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Mollie, eighty percent of the time I have no idea
what I'm doing.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
And the other twenty percent, who the hell knows where
to start. So we're going to ask the questions, find
the answers, and help you and ourselves through adulthood together.
