Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hey, it's Alec Baldwin. The new season of my podcast
Here's the Thing is returning January twenty eighth on iHeartRadio.
This past season, I spoke with more artists, policymakers, and
performers like writer and actor dan Ackroyd.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
I love writing more than anything. You're left alone. You know,
you do three hours in the morning, you write three
hours in the afternoon, go pick up a kid from
school and write at night, and after nine hours you
come out with seven pages and then you're moving on.
It's just your own devices, the air around you and
your mind and a blank screen or a blank piece
of paper.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
And the sex pistols. Steve Jones, I.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
Was pretty simple. I just wanted to do what most
teenagers want to do is get laid, have a laugh,
and get drunk. I'm not taking away what we concocted.
You know, it's four guys. You just got together. It
just happened to be the four guys. It was just
magic for two years.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
And actor and comedian Jack mcbray.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
The most important aspect is the collaboration with people that
I like, I trust are talented. That has been the
most amazing gift to me about this crazy business that
we've chosen. Meeting these people who have such diverse talents,
and you're able to create something together that is so
special to me, and that is very meaningful to me.

(01:21):
I like working with other people, and I want to
keep creating things that people enjoy, enjoy with comfort, laugh at,
can have kids watch. I like all of that.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
