Speaker 1 (00:01):
The volume.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
Hey everyone, let's make sure you guys can hear me
first pair with us as brand new process, our first
live rewatch. So it's gonna we're working through it together.
First of all, it's good to see you guys all again.
I'm really excited to do this. I was talking with
Jackson this morning. I have not rewatched this game in years,
(00:37):
and we were kind of joking, We're like, oh, should
we like do a bunch of prep should we rewatch it?
Jackson was like watching the video and he made it
a few minutes in and you know, as a basketball fan,
you just want to like keep watching it, but he
shut it down. We're gonna go into this with fresh eyes.
I really really want to like reapproach this game with
a clean perspective. We're gonna obviously, we're not gonna watch
the entirety of the game. We're gonna focus on the
(00:59):
first chunk of the game, the first like till the
first TV time out, like the first six minutes or so,
and then we're gonna skip ahead to the second half
and we'll watch the entirety of the second half. The
reason why we wanted to show the beginning is just
it's such class. Well, Jackson, why don't you tell everybody
what the first six minutes is?
Speaker 3 (01:16):
Like? Yeah, so I rewatched the first six minutes of
this game, and it is so intense and it's so loud,
I kind of forgot what the Oracle Arena experience is like.
Speaker 4 (01:28):
It is.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
It is an absolute chaos factory in there. It is,
it is, it's and it's definitely Game seven VOD. Everyone
is tight, there's a lot of misjump shots. It feels
like a Game seven and the truest of ways.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
Yeah, there's a level of intensity that you get to
and we've seen a few of them over the years.
Obviously we felt it even at the beginning of the
thunder Pacers Game seven back in June before Tyrese got hurt.
But like, there's very much like a who's gonna be
confident and play like their brand of basketball type of
energy in the arena, and like, obviously we get an
(02:02):
insane performance out of Draymond in this one. Jackson was
saying at the end of the first half, he had
like twenty two six and five with two steals. Outrageous,
just like crazy, crazy performance from him that like kind
of sets the tone for the night and but and similarly,
like you get like a Jr. Smith flurry in there
that we're gonna see, like you just see different little
(02:22):
contributions along the way, and then ultimately it grinds down
to a halt. And in that fourth quarter, we know
the final score was like eighteen to thirteen in the quarter,
which is like textbook like super slow pace like that
eighteen points was actually a ninety offensive rating from the
Caves in the fourth quarter, which isn't as bad as
it looks, but it just is more to show you
(02:42):
the pace, like it just grinds to a halt in
those final few possessions. But I'm really excited to get into.
One of the things we're gonna do too, is we're
gonna keep the audio for like the arena and the
announcers and stuff a little bit higher for this first
six minutes because I just want to help you guys
kind of remember and feel the energy in the arena.
(03:03):
And then obviously when we go to the second half,
we'll cut it down lower and we'll focus more on
the basketball chess match that's taking place.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
But now we're gonna get to.
Speaker 4 (03:12):
The game here.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
We're gonna start off with the first uh, sort of
the the intro from Mike Breen and co. The first
he want to the first quarter, so you guys can
get a real sense of uh.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
The aura, the aura, the NBA Finals, Aura, Finals, Aura.
We're gonna do all right.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
Fun fact I was living in Charlotte, North Carolina when
this game happened.
Speaker 4 (03:32):
Damn other side of the.
Speaker 5 (03:36):
Alive and roaring. That's what you get set for Game seven.
Speaker 6 (03:39):
There's the starting lineups and the change festus, the ziling
Andrew Bogat out with a knee injury.
Speaker 5 (03:45):
Andre Gazala will come off the bench for.
Speaker 6 (03:48):
Azili, his first start with the entire postseason.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
He started the fourth quarter targets during.
Speaker 6 (03:54):
The regular season. He has been a terrific backup center.
Did I the starting role?
Speaker 4 (04:03):
J Jacob not endorsem. I called Jacob this definitely. He
is the real deal. Call Jacob and money, Call Jacob Finals.
A little bit of everything.
Speaker 6 (04:20):
Some great team plays, unbelievable individual performance with suspensions, sun ejection, off.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
Court, drama on our defense, chat on the first game.
Speaker 4 (04:30):
Let's see if that happens tonight. J R. Smith's misses the.
Speaker 5 (04:34):

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Defensive money against like there's just like every single rebound,
every single ball screen, everything, everything feels like the most

For most of the.
Speaker 6 (05:12):
Game.
Speaker 7 (05:13):
Sure the intensity, show the moment, sure the sense of urgency,
but don't get out of character. The same things that
put you in the position will put your in position to.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Be a chance.
Speaker 6 (05:23):
Blake Chompson drives green fakes, green ups to his healing
who missens from point black range because didn't bring that
vertical space to the drives on buns left handed banks.
Speaker 5 (05:35):
It in.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
Two quality looks to start the game.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
Switch on the ball screen, Christian's trying to funnel him
into the hell.
Speaker 6 (05:48):
Way off the mark tops against the rebound for the
Cleveland Cavaliers.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Little fresh there against It's a classic, just two guys
go with steps.
Speaker 7 (06:03):
A little split action and lack of communication from Thompson
and James allowed.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
To because Kevin Love in the post. But look at
Elie's kind of stunting that day.
Speaker 6 (06:15):
Play Thompson on him shot clock at Sex Love Team
finds j R.
Speaker 5 (06:21):
Smith launches a three point.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
I always talking about how like that kickout pass, if
it's off target, it buys time for the rotation. But
that's what that pressure double. That pressure makes the kickout
pass much and.
Speaker 5 (06:32):
He styled on the entry passes.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
Third attempt to get.
Speaker 5 (06:40):
Trician. Thompson says he didn't call switch.
Speaker 4 (06:42):
This is a big, too big pick.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
As far as you can see, there's so many of
those steps good war where you guys get open and
then you see the defenders yelling at each other. No
one's guarding the inbounded hitchings. He he went two or
four game.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
He had a very rough excooting a series.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
Obviously they hit a couple of shots.
Speaker 8 (07:01):
From the field, inexcusably, inexplicably.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
They were not matched up.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
Switch James on the pull up and he just wants
to go out. Got a decent local step back midee.
This place is deafening, already deafening, already.
Speaker 6 (07:19):
Green up top again, Barnes green for three.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
They were open and he looks much smother than the
basketball and he doesn't know.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
Yeah, he added the backpack pitch after.
Speaker 5 (07:37):
On the drive to beat.
Speaker 3 (07:41):
It's so nice to watch play count and move like this,
which is oh man, another bricks from step like and
no fault to play that.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
He just does not move like, No he does Steph Curry.
He was so laud beautiful kickout pass.
Speaker 5 (08:01):
Hold on Warriors ball.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
Kevin rebounded really well directly to watch that.
Speaker 5 (08:08):
Yeah, as good as it gets.
Speaker 4 (08:11):
Said, you talk about it. We heard quickly really really
aggressivebout people. We heard this film Superpowers as a player that.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Drive Jane versus currye don't drive to pass.
Speaker 5 (08:24):
Slip.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
Oh my gosh. Fastest is the lack of.
Speaker 5 (08:31):
Series.
Speaker 4 (08:34):
Kevin Love goes to the zealing missus loves tip Kevin,
Oh you got it back effort from Kevin Love.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
They're probably up like fourteen to four.
Speaker 6 (08:48):
Below had the concussion missed, the game came off the
bench and on the return from the concussion is Barnes drives.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
That was worst, Comprrison to cut off and goes.
Speaker 6 (09:02):
At Traymont Green the pass and tender for Topson.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
No one ran the floor coach talking and no one
ran the floor of the.
Speaker 5 (09:12):
In the back.
Speaker 7 (09:13):
Everyone's probably super finished as opposed to going in looking
to kick out and make a play.
Speaker 8 (09:17):
But Green did an outstanding job of leveling him off
and making it him go away from the basket.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
From back to the his retreat ribbles are so nasty
as Kyrie.
Speaker 4 (09:40):
That's to.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
Last, how he lifted his right shoulder the ball to
just kind of coming.
Speaker 4 (09:50):
Here's here's the first media time out. Let's go. I'm
gonna try to get this game not on on NBA
dot com, not YouTube, so we can vote any future ads.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
But uh, Jason, was your taking the first sort of
six minute, first first stretch of that of game seven.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
Here you could see the overall tightness again like you
mentioned the jump shots. Like I think in like one
of the things that I've been along a big believer.
I've one of the games I called out for this
years ago was Goshi. Which game was it? I think
it was like it was right before r J. Barrett.
I can't remember if it was when he was with
(10:23):
the Knicks or when he was with the Raptors, but
I remember watching him like shooting a bunch of corner
threes and stuff, and I remember sitting there thinking like
these games, these big game sevens, these big pivotal playoff games,
they're not about making shots as much as they are
about winning all these physical battles because there's a certain
amount of them they're going to go in. But like
there's a reason why all these games finished like eighty
(10:44):
nine to ninety three, you know, instead of one twelve
to one oh eight, And it's because a lot of
times it's about who makes the least amount of mistakes,
who has the fewest turnovers, who plays the most like
mistake free basketball, and wins all these like musical altercations
all over the floor, and it's just kind of interesting
to see how you see like the Kyrie and Lebron
(11:05):
are what one for four on jump shots here early
Steph and Clay have a couple of really bad misses. Yeah,
you have role players that are going to get some
open looks that may or may not go in, And
yeah Draymond made some, j R. Smith made some. But
it's just so much about playing mistake free basketball. And
at this point in the series too, like everyone knows
what they're doing, everyone knows what the other team is
(11:26):
trying to do. You're kind of giving up the same
things a possession of possession throughout the process. And yeah,
it's just like these series, man, these teams became so
familiar with each other over the course of these years.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
And the mistake free basketball thing is such an interesting
point because I completely agree watching this game, that's what
it feels like. And that's something that we on this show,
you on this show, and people in general have talked
about as more of a twenty twenty five basketball concept.
It was less less targeting back you know, ten years ago,
more about top end superstars less and where now it's
more about having a well rounded roster try to play
(12:01):
mistake free basketball. And that's definitely true, but it was
still true at the at least at the highest levels
of basketball at this point. Like maybe not in the
regular season, maybe not in the first couple of rounds
of the playoffs, but between these two teams, it is
just as much about who the weaklink is as who
the best player is.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
Absolutely. I mean, like, Golden State's playing better to start
this game, right, They're getting some really clean looks around
the rim, and like two of those misses from Festest
were really good contests, like where he got met up top,
So like you want to give credit to Cleveland's defense,
but like Festest getting a defensive rebound just ripped out
of his hands. That's a stop that turned into two
(12:36):
points for Cleveland because Festest didn't chin the basketball properly,
like which is a small fundamental thing, right, Or like
Harrison Barnes randomly forcing like a tough, contested, leaning floater
with team on the shot clock when he didn't beat
his man off the dribble, Like that's a force, right,
And like those are those things that like over the
(12:58):
course of a game that's this slows boring, are the
difference between winning and losing quite literally.
Speaker 4 (13:03):
Yeah, one hundred percent.
Speaker 3 (13:05):
Should we get into the second half, let's do it
all right, let's see here.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
Yeah, we'll cut the volume down a little bit lower, guys,
so that you can hear.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
Yeah, you guys can let us know in the chat
sort of if it's too loud too quiet, however, and
we can we can go from there.
Speaker 4 (13:17):
This is going to be on heavy dot com, so
hopefully we don't have.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
The random little local lawyer lawyer ad that was hilarious.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
Yeah, yeah, that's a shout out to Los Angeles Jacob
and Ronnie, but not I'm endorsed by this podcast.
Speaker 4 (13:33):
Where are we here? We have just started the.
Speaker 3 (13:37):
Third quarter here volume wise everyone, let us know if
this is appropriate.
Speaker 2 (13:43):

Must be twenty one plus and physically present in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana,
New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, or Virginia in a play. Terms
and conditions apply. Concerned about gambling in Florida, call one
eight eight eight admit it. In Indiana, if you or
someone you know has a gambling problem and wants help,
call one eight hundred and nine with it gambling problem
(15:35):
called one eight hundred gambler in Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, New Jersey, Ohio,
Tennessee or Virginia.
Speaker 3 (15:41):
And I agree a Gabe in the chat that stuff
looks a lot smaller just physically. He clearly he definitely
put on you know, as we all know, a lot.
It's visible the amount of muscle that he has now
compared to at this point in his career.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
I feel like that's one of the biggest lessons basketball
players events.
Speaker 5 (15:56):
I'm not going down respect Tristan Thompson played out.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
There's the present shooter shot from Draymond.
Speaker 6 (16:07):
In the early third there from well beyond the yark.
This is his first three pointer of the night.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
But I concur with what Mark said.
Speaker 4 (16:15):
In terms of any lag or anything. Guys, that has
nothing to do with us.
Speaker 3 (16:18):
That is just This is the ESPN's broadcast of the
game on YouTube. It's on playback, which is an official
partner of the NBA. This is not as good as
we part tops.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
It's better than the NBA.
Speaker 6 (16:29):
Se can Yeah, Tristan toopson his second field all It's
quickly back to.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
Tristan had like sneaky, decent touch on those little floaters
around there. And that's a tough shot. You see do
you see how he's squared up in mid air. That's
what all those right handed shooters do when they're run
into their right they always have to square up while
they after they jump, they have to generate extra offense.
That's what the Warriors have been doing all year long.
Drop covered shot over festus can test the This.
Speaker 5 (16:54):
Is Draymond Green this seventh three pounds.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
To transition hand off.
Speaker 5 (17:02):
To try to get away from Kevin Love stops pulling.
Speaker 2 (17:04):
I don't like his footwork was all jacked on that
shot too. That's a super impressive shot. That little mid
rage pull up on the face life.
Speaker 5 (17:11):
He had some quality looks.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
Yeah, everyone looks so different, looks so different.
Speaker 5 (17:16):
I love it so young, So step.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
Block there, Steph top locks. He prevents Jr From coming
off clean trying to target step again. Steph hedges Grey
j R. Smith slipped out of the hedge and that's
pretty tough. That's pretty well defended. I mean, that's about
as well as you can do a hedge and recover.
And I mean, honestly, Draymond keeled and switched off Harrison.
(17:43):
That's not a good shot to see.
Speaker 3 (17:45):
That's also I mean that is an example of a
different era of Steph Curry. You know, he was younger
and faster and whatnot at this time, but he was just.
Speaker 4 (17:52):
Not as good of an iceop player at this point.
Speaker 3 (17:56):
Against the other team starting center Tristan Thompson is a
good switch defender. Like now Steph Curry is just saying, everybody,
get out the way I'm gonna I'm gonna handle this time.
He's giving it up to Harrison Bars. Yeah, that needs
to be an attack switch for sure.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
Like look at the Celtics series and we're gonna cover
this game on Thursday, But in the Celtics series he
was constantly attacking bigs and switches at the end of
the series. Wow, so attacking staff there twice in a
row through the hedge and recover and then through the
post up you rotate out of it.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
You give up the three by Kyrie to help him
to get just enough space.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
On Tristan again with that jumper, good deflection there. The
Cams I think take a double digit lead in this
point if I remember correctly.
Speaker 4 (18:49):
Two point for Golden State three. But that's gone by here.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
Kyrie on festas that's trouble. They're gonna have to send
a double. Let's see.
Speaker 5 (19:00):
Urban drives.
Speaker 2 (19:01):
Nice moved. They didn't send the double. That was a
nasty little hesitation move on the drive there to get Steve.
So a lot of matchup attacking from the caves here, right,
So we've got attacking step through the hedge and recovery
and posed, and we've got Kyrie attacking Zie in the
little transition process.
Speaker 4 (19:18):
Defending.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
But who's he's too skilled for God's He's going.
Speaker 4 (19:21):
To get to the spot.
Speaker 3 (19:22):
And Kyrie is the one player where I'm like, oh,
he kind of looks and plays exactly.
Speaker 4 (19:26):
The same way. He has been the same player more
or less, you know, for he stayed there, like Lebron looks.
Speaker 3 (19:35):
Different plays different Steph looks different plays, different play looks different.
Speaker 4 (19:39):
You can really see it. On the defensive end, Kyrie
kind of just is Kyrie expect be in the game.
Speaker 3 (19:45):
Wow about the early deathfineus early becreen Well has been
a problem, that is for sure.
Speaker 4 (19:52):
He really has been a problem. No Bogi.
Speaker 2 (19:56):
Yeah, and that's the thing, Like he's definitely nowhere near
as good as Boken. You're gonna run in some similar
balls feed screen problems and switch problems with Bogus. Boget's
gonna have trouble with Kyrie and an Island too. But
as Eli, look where Boge's probably not gonna miss those
layups that Eze was missing, and.
Speaker 3 (20:13):
That's get slightly more ability for still.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
That might have been a fast.
Speaker 5 (20:23):
On one Smith.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
I remember that play that was Oh my god, what
is j R.
Speaker 4 (20:28):
Smith doing? The drive and finish? What a sensational full
j R. Smith experience in this third quarter whole.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
Is even going for the highlight lob in the game
seven last.
Speaker 7 (20:40):
Don't pull Lebron James false is eternal and then in
transition finished.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
There was always such an obvious level of discomfort. They
are picked from behind.
Speaker 5 (20:49):
My set the tops and tops and passed.
Speaker 4 (20:54):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
Mistakes, dude, mistakes are huge and.
Speaker 3 (20:56):
The impressive hustle from both teams getting back in the
transition stops like steph breaking up that j R l
you potent and that one that play it past attempt.
Both of those are ustle back defensive plays.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
Man, Yes they are, Yes they are.
Speaker 5 (21:11):
It's just great awareness from Curry.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
We saw highlights with are he telegraphed it so bad?
Speaker 4 (21:19):
Comes up with the attacks of Kevin Love.
Speaker 5 (21:23):
No messing around eliminates his ability to block the shots.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
Curry off a curl pets once again. In the you
can literally see him land with his body turned back
towards his left, towards this horrors table. Like, that's such
impressive footwork. The way he squares up.
Speaker 4 (21:40):
On the movie third Quarter Warriors, Third Quarter Warriors.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
The ability to work off of screams, goodlock and trail possession.
You kind of have to concede somebody super tough. I mean,
he's the best to ever do it.
Speaker 4 (21:55):
Man, that's an all up Curry. He gives the Warriors
up looking.
Speaker 6 (22:01):
Step Story now with points and four rebounds, he's five
to ten from the field the Cavaliers over.
Speaker 4 (22:08):
Last time we got a super check question or empowershack question?
Speaker 2 (22:11):
Just positive real quick?
Speaker 4 (22:12):
Yeah for sure, Scoory Chris not gonna win.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
All right, let's get to this question. Let me see
where it is.
Speaker 4 (22:16):
Yeah, highlight it, let me go stage only.
Speaker 2 (22:20):
Okay, sub guys, thanks for living my trauma here. Question.
Had the Warriors won this game and Draymond won finals MVP,
would that have actually hurt Steph's legacy? Like we all
knew the stupid Finals MVP narrative that sicked him until
twenty twenty two. So as good as Draymond was, and
this is where it gets tricky, Like Draymond would have
helped win a pivotal game, but once again we're still
(22:40):
seeing all of the same advantage creation. Like we've seen
Steph generate extremely high quality looks in this game where
he didn't get credited for an assist. I mean we
got one in the first six minutes with that Draymond dunk.
Speaker 5 (22:51):
Right.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
Part of the reason why Draymond had thirty something points
in this game thirty five, I believe, is he's getting
basically left wide open by a lebron on who is
roaming off of him to help on all of these
screening actions off the ball. It's like Draymond getting Finals
MVP in twenty sixteen would have been exactly like on
Drake Guidala getting Finals MVP in twenty fifteen. It would
(23:13):
have been a lack of a fundamental understanding of how
basketball works. And so yeah, I think like you could
have seen some bad actors cling to that narrative. But
to me, if you win the title, step is still
clearly the engine driving everything. And deserving a Finals MVP,
and obviously at that point he would have been a
back to back champion with a legitimizing win against the
(23:36):
Cavs team that he beat that was injured the year before.
So like, but this is where it's always a game
of inches, right, This is the beautiful thing about the
world of sports. Like you just the entire era is
looked at differently, and in large part because of a
small stretch of basketball in that fourth quarter that literally
could have gone either way. You know, like if Lebron
doesn't block and Drake Guadala and Golden State ends up win,
(24:00):
or if Kyrie misses his shot and Steph hits something
and Golden State ends up winning, the entire situation looks different.
Kevin Durant probably doesn't even go to Golden State, right,
And like that's where it gets tricky. Is like you
could argue that there's a version of Steph's career where
he wins in twenty fifteen, in twenty sixteen, and then
again in twenty twenty two, only has three rings, but
is actually regarded more highly by the basketball masses because
(24:23):
of the degree of difficulty. It's always like it's just
so funny to look back. It's it's arguably one of
the big turning points. If it's not that it's Clay
game six, right, like they could have lost to you.
You get a couple of clay impossible shots. He had
an awkward footwork one from like thirty feet at the
top of the key if you guys remember where he
had his right foot back and he kind of just
(24:45):
flip of the wrist just shot it from thirty and
ripped the chord. And like that was a huge shot
in that game that if he misses, Oklahoma City wins
that series in six in all likelihood, right, And so
it like everything is hanging on these like tiny, tiny moments.
You look at the Pacers Thunder game four, like there's
a couple of crazy sequences, a couple of calls at
(25:06):
the end of that game could swing the series. Denver
game game five, in game four against Oklahoma City, you
have a couple of guys that misshots for Denver that
if they make them, it swings the series. And I
love that about the game of basketball, like we we
celebrate these winners, but it really is like this close
to going differently than it did.
Speaker 4 (25:27):
Thank you for the question. Eric, thank you for the question.
Speaker 2 (25:28):
Yes, thank you, Thank you Eric. Thanks for the super
chat as well.
Speaker 4 (25:31):
All right, here were you know, almost happening a third
quarter from.
Speaker 5 (25:35):
James Curry with some fine defensive plays.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
Little double team. That's a decent front of Yeah, STEP's
rotating well, but they so do you see Dramon went
to the corner as Steph was going to the corner,
and that's how Triton ended up wide open. Nice a
lot of it. That once again attaching Steph from the
post here.
Speaker 5 (26:06):
To Cory Draymond green.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
Past wow, wow due the big st Golden State are
a problem in this one.
Speaker 4 (26:16):
That was a.
Speaker 2 (26:18):
Hard does he go shoot too well? I thought Draymond
might have been straight up there. I'm not sure I
like that call.
Speaker 4 (26:24):
I see the ring still complaining.
Speaker 5 (26:28):
It's a beautiful look.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
You block it. Oh what a defensive play from Kyrie
getting up underneath them there you see that. Yeah. One
of my long stating beliefs too. Like I obviously Steph
was injured and that was affecting his lifted mobility, but
I think a big part of why he went down
the stretch of this game was just how often he
(26:51):
was getting attacked and how much that would down his
base on the defensive, like when you're battling fronting Lebron
in the post and then having to rotate out of
it just bears on, whereas on the other end of
the poor Lebron's basically operating as a robe. You know
what I mean.
Speaker 6 (27:06):
Yeah, James hits a pair one. We've already had thirteen
lead changes in this game. Final not have very many
close games, really none going down to the wire.
Speaker 2 (27:22):
Here comes Curry the other turnover on the pocket pass.
Speaker 5 (27:25):
There is a nice place drugs.
Speaker 2 (27:28):
Kyrie's ability to get to touch off the glass at
full speed is.
Speaker 4 (27:32):
So insane, unbelievable, such great. That is an insane transition.
Speaker 2 (27:39):
A little basketball nerdy thing. I loved the way Draymond
sprinted into that ball screen. It actually helps Steph turn
the corner on the bronze. When you sprint into the
ball screen, it generates a gap between you and the
screen defender, which will allow for more space for the
guy coming off the screen to work. Look at how
he could controls this with the spin.
Speaker 4 (27:58):
Ridiculous player exquisite in the open floor.
Speaker 6 (28:03):
Thirteen points for Kyrie Orban good switching there, j R.
Smith right, up on top of play. Thompson switch has
to put it up, just gets it off.
Speaker 5 (28:14):
The time and barely defense rim Kevin loved me with
his eleventh three.
Speaker 4 (28:20):
Yet the second hand, I'm Kyrie Irvan, I'm thinking attacked
Steph Curry. That's crazy.
Speaker 2 (28:24):
Ooh good defense, good defense from.
Speaker 4 (28:26):
Stuff's interesting that the Warriors made an early wine and.
Speaker 5 (28:28):
Attack day off.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
Yeah, you could tell Kerr was struggling with that a
e le problem all night long. In the chat, someone
said you could tell, like Boget standing out on re
on rewatch, like it really was huge. And again, like
I want to be clear, like it's more the offensive
end I think would have been attacked just as much.
But I think on the offensive end he just would
have been way more competent finishing and traffic.
Speaker 4 (28:54):
And it's a tough decision because you can.
Speaker 3 (28:58):
You could definitely make an argument for just more or
death lineup and more earlier Warriors, but Thompson is such
an animal and the offensive last years that if you
have Draymond battling him, it's Draymond was, you know, a
better rebounder, more athletic at this point in his career.
But it's still kind of an advantage Tristan Thompson on
the offensive blast.
Speaker 4 (29:17):
If you if you're doing that compared to Parajou or whoever, I.
Speaker 2 (29:22):
Think you're making a really good point. I think Tristan
Thompson kind of acted. It's not an antidote for the
death lineup, but less clear, but it is. Yeah, it's
another one of those heads and recovery sequence is there, just.
Speaker 3 (29:38):
Showing even though Tristan isn't like the tallest actual listed
player having the Lebron Kevin loved Tristan Thompson front court
is pretty.
Speaker 2 (29:48):
Large, pretty big, yeah, and very good rebounding for very good.
It's again, what do you see Barry jell sprint up
into that screen? It got Stephan Crane, he like sprinted
up into that screen. And so when Steph came off
the with nobody at the level I think it was.
The thing might have been Lebron looks like you kind
of rotated the way because this was bad defense.
Speaker 4 (30:06):
For good job by Draymond Green getting back.
Speaker 5 (30:08):
Into the pitcher. Tough to tell, but the Warriors have
the basketball.
Speaker 6 (30:13):
And then.
Speaker 3 (30:17):
This many vera man's it's just shocking catches fires, it's
shocking stuff.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
That was very well defended that little wide screen for
his play eounds for Lebron James p jacket screen shot
blocked but a foul Thompson.
Speaker 4 (30:35):
That crossover is so tight and free throws for Kyrie
what we've seen in the past and that classic Kyrie.
I kind of I get it and I respect it.
I kind of hate the.
Speaker 3 (30:46):
Like jump into you with the elbows forward thing, like
he is just elbow in Vera's neck and like that
isn't that is a fallon very It's like great basket
because he's very sliding.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
Yeah, yeah, it's what those things where. That's almost like
gamesmanship in its own sense. It's part of like the
foul drifting idea, where it's like he's probably taking a
different shot in a pickup game there, but he's making
the refmaking call. It making the ref make a call
and him flipping the screen there and getting off to
(31:20):
the other side with what got Bears out of position,
weird side little double drag.
Speaker 5 (31:28):
Curry.
Speaker 2 (31:30):
Oh my gosh, this was definitely one of Curry's more
sloppy ball handling too. This was such an insane place.
So I don't know if they show the replay the
dribble that Kyrie lets go after he gets this steal
where he throws the ball out in front of him,
so much action on Yeah, look at the spin on
(31:51):
this first dribble. Kind of a bad angle. But he
throws a ridiculous dribble that like stops on a and
he catches up that.
Speaker 4 (32:01):
Is left handed, finished, left hand. This is a roll
high off the last that is ridiculous. That is out
of rage.
Speaker 5 (32:13):
Ten straight points.
Speaker 7 (32:14):
Mike Cleveland, I'm jealous that left handed shot in seventeen
parts the league.
Speaker 5 (32:20):
I'm jealous.
Speaker 4 (32:21):
I love that.
Speaker 2 (32:23):
It's like, hey, Mark Jackson, no one's had that left
handed finished thousand left Oh my gosh.
Speaker 5 (32:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (32:30):
So right when he gets the steel, I don't.
Speaker 2 (32:32):
Know if they'll show it again, but yeah, he literally
like throws this George dribble that he throws like fifteen
feet out in front of him and the ball like
goes straight and then straight off off the ground like
it's insane.
Speaker 5 (32:46):
To a frenzy.
Speaker 2 (32:48):
Wait, look, sports fans, really good pressure on that last
step forcing the deflections.
Speaker 6 (32:59):
You have one again. They're shooting thirty nine percent here.
This horn said strategy is that the personnel why the
soll screen switch scores really well drawn up.
Speaker 2 (33:09):
I'm out. Notice Harrison got inside position on the switch
and he was able to just slip out of it.
That's classic Warriors, and.
Speaker 4 (33:17):
That is like, that's me having Draymond game making tough
shots all season long.
Speaker 2 (33:21):
Like, here's your death line up rough, But you also
have to give credit to the Cleveland Kyrie on Steph.
Speaker 3 (33:28):
Ball screen, pab Slurry and Steve said far back, heyst.
Speaker 4 (33:32):
Immediately give me the the death line of Brath that
cars his first three pointer.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
Draymond is too far back on the ball screen. There
got to be up on Kyrie. Nice shot. Kristen is
air hugging Steph Carnes posted up on Kyrie. Nice late
double team, ooh got a foul call Crow.
Speaker 6 (33:55):
Disparity is pretty big. Sixteen attempts for Cleveland only four
for going in state.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
See watch how far back Draymond is. Good way to
set him up for the screen to get some space
raises up. Nots it in, but it shows you the difference.
Speaker 7 (34:12):
If Steph Curry is coming off of that, Draymond Green
defensively would be up because of pygent ability to get.
Speaker 5 (34:18):
To the paint.
Speaker 7 (34:18):
You gotta give him a little bit of room. Elevates
and makes the right place either a Zille or vera ja.
Speaker 8 (34:28):
This has been their best chance five smaller guys, and
now the question is can Love and Thompson stay on
the floor defensively.
Speaker 2 (34:40):
Toopson on urban to the wedge screen into the ball
screen again. Notice how Draymond's up this time. Draymond's up,
He's not letting him get that shot this time.
Speaker 5 (34:56):
So Tristan Thompson will shoot too, So you.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
Can see the chess match. Draylunds made the adjustment. He's
not going to concede that pull up three off of
the ball stream.
Speaker 8 (35:04):
Remember the struggles Tristan Thompson has gone through in the
finals from the free throw line.
Speaker 3 (35:10):
I see you in the chat loops tonight talking about
the free third differential. It's always going to be that
way for the Warriors team going against the Lebron James too.
Just from a style, from a stylistic, the Warriors just
don't play as much drive into the teeth of the
defense basketball and Lebron James every team he's on is
going to be high towards the top of the league
because this era, and not in any type of weird
(35:32):
conspiracy way like he just plays a lot more downhill
and the Warriors play a lot more just kind of
run around, you know. I said that positively, but it's
not gonna he throw just bared.
Speaker 4 (35:41):
He's gonna be that way for it. Here's the first
show lens in the.
Speaker 2 (35:45):
Second so we got just only only a couple of
minutes of death line up and because of the pull
up Kyrie three, it's still was a positive for three.
Speaker 4 (35:52):
Boy. Yeah, this was Livingston for Clay.
Speaker 5 (35:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (35:56):
One of the big things that's standing out to me
Jackson on this footage too, is Christan is doing an
insanely good job switching on the steps up.
Speaker 3 (36:03):
Christ Yeah, extremely underrated just across the board. You talked
about him right away off the touching his floaters. He's
he's switching out like he's getting offensive rebounds.
Speaker 2 (36:16):
How about Draymond doing the rip through. I think he
makes all these.
Speaker 6 (36:21):
Trying to go up as quickly as possible. Warriors get
the benefit of the doubt on that one and free
throws for Green That's.
Speaker 4 (36:29):
Why he shot that at the at the gate in
this third quarter.
Speaker 3 (36:32):
He was five for five in the first dude, Yeah,
I guess you gotta got free rate to do whatever
you want.
Speaker 4 (36:38):
A first case, having.
Speaker 8 (36:40):
A final ball pressure beyond the three, it looks dead
and that could have easily not been called as well.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
With a big little play from uh Draymond there that
rip through like three points in a money.
Speaker 6 (36:57):
Man Warriors Record's got twenty four, seven and six.
Speaker 5 (37:07):
And it's all three the league for Cleveland cut to four.
Speaker 2 (37:12):
Point game, little double drag. Ye, they're gonna attack, They're
gonna bring six to shoot. James Drives used that to
get downhill. I mean that was good defense.
Speaker 4 (37:32):
That was pretty good defense.
Speaker 5 (37:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (37:34):
And then and there's Tristan again though, cleaning up offensive last.
Speaker 2 (37:37):
Like yeah, especially yeah, when you're a smaller group like this,
Tristan's just gonnao on the offensive last. You stayed Andre's guy,
and Andre that shows just a little bit of hell
puts on a smaller guy, honestly did he was getting
double team by Barnes and he just keep it offensive. Glass, Dude,
Tristan is huge in this game.
Speaker 4 (37:57):
There coming back making free the bros Man hit.
Speaker 5 (38:02):
You had a throw.
Speaker 4 (38:04):
He is if you're not if you weren't a fan of.
Speaker 3 (38:06):
His, and I was personally rue for the Warriors in
this series. His gaming so ugly, like it's not asthetically
pleasing in any way whatsoever, but he.
Speaker 4 (38:14):
Is so impactful.
Speaker 2 (38:16):
Correct me if I'm wrong about this. But didn't Trincan
Thompson come out of college electee and they converted him
into a variety he's left hand. Yeah, they did it
to like fix this form.
Speaker 1 (38:25):
Yeah, such an influence.
Speaker 2 (38:27):
Richard Jefferson sighting coach Piland.
Speaker 4 (38:33):
Shot What a shot?
Speaker 2 (38:35):
What a pass by Livingston. That was a really nice
little short roll read from Livingston once again though like
Draymond Green gets a three there, Livingston gets the assists,
but Steph created that shot.
Speaker 4 (38:45):
Kind of a shot.
Speaker 3 (38:46):
That is such a different Raymond Green from where he
is now offensive a jump shooter. I mean, obviously he's
made five to three in this game to this point,
but still that is that is a confident shot.
Speaker 5 (38:59):
Drive the runner at the.
Speaker 2 (39:00):
Fall, that whole possession got blown up by not letting
himself get screen. They tried to run the that is
the crazy tickets because navigated like four step or Kyrie
irving screens there and in the process essentially forced Lebron
into another late possession ball screen where he finally got
(39:22):
the switch he wanted. But then he funbled it to
the backcourt and had to rush that floater, but liked
is just a problem. And he was so good defensively
on the perimeter.
Speaker 4 (39:37):
With the immediate impact.
Speaker 2 (39:40):
And then the runout rhythm.
Speaker 4 (39:44):
He does. That's a confident man. That's a confident man.
Speaker 2 (39:49):
That is a confident Ramon.
Speaker 5 (39:52):
Watching Dwayne James with the visit here to the game,
Russell Wilson.
Speaker 2 (39:59):
Being ready to go join him in Cleveland.
Speaker 3 (40:01):
Yeah, for real, God, what us here? That's what Wilson.
What a night last night for that dude, gevent board
did you see that?
Speaker 2 (40:07):
Did you see the final drive there? The red zone
possession just threw it out the back of the end
zone three starts. Was pretty ugly in there.
Speaker 6 (40:18):
There some brilliant individual performances and some great team efforts
to to play here of the third.
Speaker 8 (40:25):
And Mike, to me, it all switched on the foul
on Draymond Green behind.
Speaker 4 (40:30):
The three, big fat confusion.
Speaker 2 (40:33):
Switched Lebron posting living. I think he hits a little
right shoulder fade here if I remember correctly to that's tough.
Sean defended that one too, That's just a tough.
Speaker 4 (40:46):
He is almost on the ground shot you want.
Speaker 5 (40:49):
Lebron's James to take in that situation.
Speaker 2 (40:55):
Curry double team, little short roll nice kicked out Harrison's three,
got it, got it once again. Another shot that STEP's
not gonna get any credit for on the box score
of it, that he generated.
Speaker 6 (41:08):
Much of the series. That's his second three pointer he's got.
Speaker 4 (41:12):
Yeah, Mike and the chats and probably Hb's last big shot.
It probably is. I mean he hit. I only only
had two three in this game. Another cuts to Thompson,
this is I think I.
Speaker 2 (41:25):
Think Tristan hits. It was a shot a little quick
late clock post out the Harrison Barnes lefty floater due
Tristan Pundon deserves.
Speaker 4 (41:34):
Like a mini m VP for this.
Speaker 5 (41:37):
Look at this what nearly falling down.
Speaker 2 (41:39):
That's really good defense. Tristan's chasing him around.
Speaker 4 (41:46):
To look at that.
Speaker 3 (41:47):
Yeah, he's like Della Vadova Curry right now, Curry the
runner is up.
Speaker 5 (41:55):
Almost. That's great defense by Christian Thompson.
Speaker 7 (41:59):
You want eight ten by Thompson able to defend him
without the basketball and then under control.
Speaker 2 (42:04):
A lot of Livingston attacking here trying to draw contact.
Speaker 5 (42:07):
Pulls up.
Speaker 2 (42:08):
You break that one. You got a good look there too.
Speaker 5 (42:11):
That was a weird career, but poor use of the
shot clock.
Speaker 8 (42:14):
They got it back with a four second differential, and
they shot it way.
Speaker 5 (42:18):
Too early inside finds.
Speaker 4 (42:20):
Room and.
Speaker 2 (42:24):
They with the hell of a run there in the
third quarter, a.
Speaker 6 (42:27):
Chance to get off for shot from half court.
Speaker 4 (42:29):
It's up.
Speaker 2 (42:31):
What a game. This is such a great game.
Speaker 4 (42:34):
Going on the fourth quarter.
Speaker 6 (42:36):
Game seven of the NBA Finals, a one point game.
Speaker 2 (42:39):
As we head to the fourth had a big one, big,
big Sean Livingston ship. Christen Thompson is like literally the
defensive MVP of this game for the work he's doing
on dead at a lot of Lebron attacking Livingston and
a lot of matchup attacking for the Wars. It aired
for the Cavs, you can tell it. That's the main
(43:00):
difference between the two approaches. Like the Warriors are kind
of playing off of classic Steph ball in terms of
him running off action the ball, screens, off ball screens,
and hitting slippers. But the Cavs it's just straight matchup
hunting every time down the wall.
Speaker 5 (43:15):
Trust each other.
Speaker 4 (43:16):
You know.
Speaker 5 (43:16):
We got a little away from that in the third quarter.
Speaker 4 (43:18):
Keep moving the ball and good stuff happens.
Speaker 5 (43:20):
I thought we got a little careless.
Speaker 1 (43:22):
Thank you so much, Mike an entire NBA.
Speaker 2 (43:25):
I would hate to have to do.
Speaker 5 (43:26):
An interview.
Speaker 4 (43:29):
And the w NBA CO just have to do it
while the game has happening.
Speaker 2 (43:32):
I know it's insane out there for Cleveland. There we go,
Kevin Love against little player screen.
Speaker 5 (43:39):
Five, the defense, James drives, gets in the paint, puts
it up.
Speaker 2 (43:43):
My shot, good footworks, you're keeping that left foot down.
Speaker 4 (43:47):
No steph Curry schiffeers, Yes, your flare screen.
Speaker 1 (43:51):
The ball came back to James and there.
Speaker 2 (43:53):
Was a huge I'm assuming that just means Lebron played
the entire second half.
Speaker 4 (43:55):
Got it and maybe he took a short rest.
Speaker 2 (43:59):
Lebron rolling the paint off and dream on.
Speaker 5 (44:01):
Here Barnes Green's.
Speaker 3 (44:04):
Interesting, well, rare Levy Levingston MIDI mess still know a
center for the Warriors haven't happen.
Speaker 2 (44:15):
If he goes back at Livingston, I haven't.
Speaker 4 (44:18):
Had a center for the Warriors.
Speaker 3 (44:20):
Came out, spars came out, not exactly the quote unquote
death line up, but have been all uh.
Speaker 2 (44:25):
Nonsender James's shot. Yeah, Kevin Love wanted no parts of
that post up and Dreamer, I believe.
Speaker 6 (44:33):
It's gonna be against he's upset the first team, foul replaying.
Speaker 2 (44:49):
Oh he's got Richard Jefson's arm hooked.
Speaker 3 (44:52):
It's like case you got a question, what things are
you seeing that are that are different from how the
game is played today?
Speaker 4 (44:58):
Back out?
Speaker 2 (44:58):
I mean, we're seeing a lot of two big looks
for Cleveland, but Kevin loves shooting ability obviously capitalizes them.
That the Warriors running a lot of modern five out
concepts that NBA teams are playing today, and the Cavs
are doing a lot of advanced I think both of
these teams are kind of ahead of their time, ahead
of their time in a lot of ways. They're like
ghost screens with Jare Smith slipping out a lot of
these modern actions. Yeah, it was a nice little left
(45:21):
shoulders hook. N love there. Notice the matchup though, because
he goes that Draymond I think later and it doesn't
get nearly.
Speaker 4 (45:26):
As closed too strong playing the first half all.
Speaker 2 (45:33):
So, yeah, you're right, double teams turn over double again.
You pressure enough in the double, it's pretty easier to
rotate out of it.
Speaker 5 (45:46):
Drives.
Speaker 2 (45:50):
We got him on the farm.
Speaker 3 (45:51):
Yeah, I think he would have gotten we would have
been in like a whistle conspiracy mode if that was,
if that was not called a foul after a couple
of the other ends, I think it's been pretty fair.
Speaker 2 (46:01):
But yeah, to me, there hasn't been anything like super
blatant Dale like he had arms lately.
Speaker 4 (46:09):
Yeah, yeah, kind of to be register. Yeah, I mean
that's that's that's the correct call.
Speaker 6 (46:15):
Good Eyes Levison, who was the hero of game one,
twenty points off the bench, and like we talked about,
one of the things that sparked the run was kind
of like at three throws right, good.
Speaker 1 (46:28):
Point very well from the free throw line today.
Speaker 4 (46:33):
Yeah, nine of ten for Golden State seventeen.
Speaker 2 (46:36):
That's got that competitor anxiety.
Speaker 3 (46:38):
Jason Clark and Jason Collinson then loses.
Speaker 5 (46:44):
That would be who wins and loses the championship.
Speaker 2 (46:47):
I Clark became a much more featured on the next
couple of years.
Speaker 3 (46:51):
Got got that absolutely still player, got absolutely stuffed by Lebron.
Speaker 2 (46:55):
Yeah, all right, Lebron on play here.
Speaker 4 (47:00):
The more he was saying, would rather switch this and
have to deal with Tirey coming off the screen six
to choof James Drives kicks it out.
Speaker 2 (47:10):
It's good defensive play.
Speaker 1 (47:14):
Two consecutive turnovers.
Speaker 2 (47:16):
So smart man, good slip. That's tough.
Speaker 4 (47:18):
That was a tough almost in though.
Speaker 2 (47:21):
So he's taking some funky football shots in this game. Yeah,
a little transition cross man, and there's.
Speaker 4 (47:29):
The double team double team.
Speaker 2 (47:32):
Go back play.
Speaker 5 (47:34):
Drives on Green, gets inside off.
Speaker 2 (47:36):
Balance, comes up big offensive. You can see Kyrie see
his shot coming off short immediately because he bailed out
of his landing quicker than everybody else. Fortunately he missed
just on that part of the front of the rim
that was gonna come right.
Speaker 4 (47:49):
He is outplayed step and the Chats almost had to
me the game out. In the number of the games
in the finals last year.
Speaker 2 (47:57):
From the Hospital Active three minutes seven to shoot in Cleveland.
One of those minutes by four from Shepherd, Green drives
nice little uh crossover. You're working gram on there. Lebron
is gonna you gotta do a better job. What the
hell Fred Van lead towards a clod Shepherd time. I
(48:20):
guess yeah, no kidding. They may have to be more
aggressive in a guard trade.
Speaker 6 (48:24):
Yeah's a couple of jabs, kicks it out corner love
per trade.
Speaker 2 (48:34):
The decent look once again like who always just made
Lebron work parder than Harrison Barnes play post up good
three quarter front from pireees for.
Speaker 4 (48:47):
Him, office spot, fake strides kicks it a m It's
starting for Harrison Barnes.
Speaker 3 (48:56):
Unfortunately, it is starting for Harrison Barnes having to.
Speaker 1 (49:00):
Shoot range jump shots cross.
Speaker 2 (49:03):
That was just nasty.
Speaker 3 (49:05):
That was nasty and that was a great defense to
stay as close as Clay did.
Speaker 4 (49:08):
Great. Yeah, God, that play looks so similar to the
to the block. Oh my god, that is crazy.
Speaker 2 (49:16):
The Kyrie myths that starts it to Wow, that is.
Speaker 4 (49:20):
That is crazy how that looks.
Speaker 2 (49:23):
James was putting the bond either help same. I don't
want to get it to uh the Fred van Vliet
stuff now because it's not the purpose of our show today.
But man, that's a team that was already super white
on ball handling losing their second best.
Speaker 4 (49:38):
Ball handler for a second shot.
Speaker 2 (49:40):
After his talking about Kevin Durant having a defensive an
offense is.
Speaker 4 (49:43):
The job, I was going to say a lot more
responsibility on Kevin Durant.
Speaker 2 (49:47):
All of a sudden, Yeah, I need to spend some
time just like thinking about what ox they have, because
you can now feel relatively short when they'll make a
trade for the part over to make a dollar.
Speaker 1 (49:57):
And so where is the offense it's gonna come.
Speaker 3 (50:01):
We're in pure death line up here, so I've not
seen the center since half the third quarter.
Speaker 2 (50:06):
Refused the screen there again, but then he's gives the
switch to Barns.
Speaker 4 (50:10):
Drives down a lane, would have finished.
Speaker 2 (50:13):
He just saw food when he saw Harrison secret.
Speaker 3 (50:15):
Yeah, but I love that generally has a strategy from Magada,
I really do. He infuriates me and a lot of
teams these days just give up switching to get too
easily because it's there and like more switched friendly concept.
Speaker 4 (50:28):
You don't have to switch, don't switch.
Speaker 2 (50:30):
That was classic game. That was such a ridiculous shot. Again,
that was the twenty seventh quarter album, A pullback dribble
against the guy who was defended him really well. But yeah,
that was what was weird in the scheme because I
Guadala refused to be screened by Kyrie and the step screen.
But then he conceded the switch to.
Speaker 3 (50:48):
Harrison Barnes and Lebron just went right at him his
step screen.
Speaker 2 (50:52):
I think this is where he starts going after here.
Speaker 6 (50:54):
Pretty soon the corner right side Smiths dribbles corner.
Speaker 2 (51:00):
Sure that was a good look for j R.
Speaker 9 (51:03):
Raid offensive possession, Yeah, tops of things, tops another another
like bro Bro made all of the most ridiculous shots.
Speaker 2 (51:17):
He took in this game.
Speaker 4 (51:18):
They called that.
Speaker 6 (51:19):
We're on the court calling time out and arguing with
Mike Callahan.
Speaker 5 (51:24):
That's Golden State.
Speaker 2 (51:26):
What's he arguing about here?
Speaker 4 (51:27):
I don't know. This game is intense.
Speaker 2 (51:34):
That's a mistake once again the break rhythm. Yeah, and
the break rhythm ends up costing him a point there.
But like he's hit some of the weird footwork shots,
I want to say, finally attacking on the switch.
Speaker 3 (51:49):
I think we're very close to entering nobody scores for
like three and a half straight minutes territory here.
Speaker 2 (51:55):
I think we get the Lebron on his Zee stretch
first and then and then we go to they do
bring back to.
Speaker 6 (52:01):
Sports fans stress and anxiety, elation and hope. For many
of them, they've witted over five decades worth of frustration
and disappointment.
Speaker 4 (52:11):
Yeah, Ron, it got just over six minutes to find
out goes back in the Maybe it's that for one.
I think he's one stops picks it back up.
Speaker 2 (52:25):
Jefferson Jefferson you're gonna see a lot of these like
Lake talk rescue, weird shots.
Speaker 4 (52:30):
It's just shy of a triple double. Right, here's the
fastest minutes you have. Here we go or Barns.
Speaker 6 (52:37):
Curry with Jefferson leaning on him. Curry drives, scoop layup,
missus great on him?
Speaker 4 (52:41):
Wow?
Speaker 2 (52:44):
Great? Finished with Gray morn where's by four? Things are teetering?
Speaker 4 (52:49):
Thirty? Brown says, give me Festus.
Speaker 5 (52:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (52:53):
Celi now guarding James and the Celi's back in the
most comical exaggerated ever.
Speaker 4 (53:01):
He was beyond.
Speaker 2 (53:03):
Checking with like for a guy who's been a mediocre
free throw shooter throughout his entire career, he stepped up
and knocked these down.
Speaker 7 (53:09):
They used four for five down the stretch of this game,
crashing the offensive bullets from the weak side.
Speaker 3 (53:15):
This is a good basketball I wonder if this is
the one decision making that I don't know the answer.
Speaker 5 (53:21):
We want big.
Speaker 4 (53:23):
It's just not working. I mean, you can't maybe you
can't do it for the whole time. You feel like
you gotta give yourself some rask.
Speaker 5 (53:30):
Three point three.
Speaker 2 (53:33):
It's pretty.
Speaker 5 (53:35):
Contact.
Speaker 4 (53:36):
Minute has not been for the defensive.
Speaker 7 (53:40):
But there's no reason to switch in that situation, you're
doing the Calves a favor by switching Zie onto onto Lebron.
Speaker 1 (53:48):
There's no reason to contest coming off your feet.
Speaker 2 (53:52):
James has not made a three today, so Elias Sper says,
if you were a Zillie, you let him take that
pull up, Well, you're about to find out what happens.
Speaker 1 (54:03):
Not to leave their feet when they're contesting out here.
Speaker 2 (54:08):
Remember on this next one, Draymond actually fights through the
first couple of screens. When he finally gets in, Let's see.
Speaker 5 (54:12):
I love Cleveland. You're going to switch that pick and roll.
Speaker 4 (54:14):
I'm coming back down and run at the same exact action.
Speaker 2 (54:17):
Let's see if you know you're right about that too.
Speaker 6 (54:18):
Mark Jackson's now six of seven.
Speaker 4 (54:22):
From the pre prodcasting. It holds out. I know people
sort of in.
Speaker 3 (54:25):
The moment were like, I don't know, Jeth Van Dunny
complains on everywhere. I think it holds up great, agree
and you know what Martin, Yeah, there's some weirdness.
Speaker 4 (54:36):
But like I think it holds generally.
Speaker 2 (54:38):
Three clutch it's great.
Speaker 4 (54:40):
Take.
Speaker 7 (54:40):
Jackson was talking about how to go let's pick and
roll with Steph Curry and the message comes they want
to switch the pick and roll thro.
Speaker 2 (54:48):
The behind the back of what's he doing? State free
Basketball Haven turnover for Golden State at.
Speaker 4 (54:55):
That is a bad he knows it, a bad decision.
Speaker 7 (54:58):
These are the plays that he's got to eliminate, especially
coolding out what is the dealing And that's his fourth turnover.
Speaker 2 (55:04):
Same exact action. Draymonde fights to the first one.
Speaker 4 (55:09):
If I remember again trying which again screen shoot, that's
the twitch James Cone to pull up three.
Speaker 2 (55:22):
That that arguably was more important than the blocks, turning
the four point deficiting to the two point lead. With
those two plays, that was really where you could tell
the entire feel of the game finished.
Speaker 4 (55:36):
I think this is where where we're getting. This is
the no buckets.
Speaker 2 (55:41):
Look at the shots that everyone gets and.
Speaker 1 (55:42):
Love coming back in as well.
Speaker 2 (55:45):
That is no knock the.
Speaker 5 (55:45):
Zeal, it's just bad.
Speaker 2 (55:48):
The second one, I think we'll bron missus a MIDI on.
Speaker 6 (55:53):
I remember James this time jos Adam pulls back too.
Speaker 2 (55:59):
Yeah he I don't hate it, but I feel like
you could have gotten the better. I would have just
taken the same three Trusty released to do the exact
same thing. Clean look for staff off of.
Speaker 5 (56:08):
Pin down and Mike.
Speaker 8 (56:11):
We're used to seeing that's great offense, a great screen
him wide open.
Speaker 1 (56:15):
We're used to seeing that one going down.
Speaker 4 (56:18):
Table throws it.
Speaker 5 (56:21):
Back up to James.
Speaker 4 (56:22):
I think since the Lebron.
Speaker 3 (56:24):
Smith seven to shoot, he gets step here, he doesn't
get a bucket.
Speaker 2 (56:28):
Huh, he gets a little short left shoulder hook. I
think their a little right shoulder fade away like a
terrible not a terrible shot.
Speaker 4 (56:35):
It's kind of a name shot.
Speaker 2 (56:37):
But he's gassed. Everyone's gas. Like Braun has missed a
couple of looks that are decent for him. Steps just
missed a great look for him. Everyone's gas. We've had
le Bron, if I remember, correctly misses a little left
shoulder hook later on to like. It's a classic example
of like, and it's like everyone's just tired.
Speaker 4 (56:56):
So when the pick and roll comes, is green switching
with game.
Speaker 3 (57:00):
Three forty to go best on best. Everyone's got their
best fight and now no more festus.
Speaker 5 (57:05):
James seven is tied with three and a half.
Speaker 2 (57:07):
Then go here on the morning, all the marbles.
Speaker 5 (57:14):
Crane back to Thompson.
Speaker 2 (57:19):
Shot Yeah, Jared, Steph didn't really Stephan can tell his gas.
He didn't even really go for the ball.
Speaker 5 (57:24):
Now Cleveland be.
Speaker 1 (57:25):
Better served to get into whatever they're getting into quicker.
Speaker 2 (57:28):
I think they've got to try to post up love
on Harrison.
Speaker 5 (57:31):
Here set the screen, getting Curry.
Speaker 2 (57:32):
In the action.
Speaker 5 (57:38):
Five to shoot, James powers drives.
Speaker 4 (57:41):
Down to Lade.
Speaker 2 (57:42):
Oh, I forgot about that one. If I remember correctly,
I Gudala kind of grabs it from the arm.
Speaker 5 (57:47):
Raymond Gray kicks it out dollar for three.
Speaker 2 (57:53):
Yeah, so Curry. So that time, Lebron actually gets more
physically aggressive with Steph on the switch, gets all the
way to the rim. But there's kind of like I
actually thought there was a good no call because I
think the risk is close enough to the ball, But
like when Lebron beats him, you can see barely get
that's the top.
Speaker 4 (58:11):
I'm okay with that beating guard too.
Speaker 5 (58:14):
Clearly contact but.
Speaker 2 (58:16):
Unbelievable defensive play for.
Speaker 4 (58:19):
In history.
Speaker 2 (58:20):
But I would also argue that's a good look characters.
Speaker 6 (58:24):
As Lebron James with twenty six ten and eleven Green
is time a power move to the basket.
Speaker 2 (58:33):
But right there, yeah, it's a good it's a good
no call, but like he technically gets him on the wrist,
and that's why Lebron misses the layout. If Lebron just
goes to his left hand, go to.
Speaker 5 (58:47):
His left hand, Draymonds, that's one of those ones.
Speaker 2 (58:50):
I'm sure Lebron repeats himself.
Speaker 3 (58:51):
Up.
Speaker 2 (58:52):
Yeah, So here's the love post up. Notice Harrison Barnes
fights him further away from the basket. Look at how
much puffer that hook is like two feet in. That's
a hook he made, but he's two eight out. It's
a HOOKI miss it.
Speaker 4 (59:10):
It's very hungeren to guarding Chin guon the last playoffs.
Just push him out, push him out, push him out.
Speaker 2 (59:16):
It's enough to be playing exactly short Rolls kicks it
out Barns, Raymond good. Look, he's made six of them.
Speaker 4 (59:24):
Raylocky guy has made a lot of threes to that
get on that one.
Speaker 8 (59:28):
That's great rotation by the Cleveland Cavaliers. James closest to
the opposite corner.
Speaker 4 (59:34):
Love pulls the trick.
Speaker 2 (59:35):
Could call it by Mike. The box out from Lebron
on that rebound.
Speaker 8 (59:38):
Pich terrific defense and very good offense by the Warriors,
and good offense onc I think this is the block
taking a tough shot.
Speaker 4 (59:46):
But about Kyrie Irvan and Lebron James.
Speaker 5 (59:47):
The offense is running through me right now.
Speaker 2 (59:50):
Yeah, no ship Irving.
Speaker 5 (59:52):
Drives hop step, It's suche full good rotation.
Speaker 2 (59:55):
From gray Lawn where Lebron is like a dollar the curry.
Speaker 5 (59:58):
Back take a dollar. Oh my god, James blood Bron
James with the rejection.
Speaker 2 (01:00:05):
Such an insane play winded. Yeah, let's see it one
more time. He this is he He's up so fucking
high on this block. This is insane athletic play.
Speaker 3 (01:00:16):
He looks like he's moving in the fast forward on
the run up. By the way, if you just watch
him on that top side.
Speaker 4 (01:00:23):
Okay, but the rejection, ok.
Speaker 2 (01:00:29):
He's in the corner, taken by a god.
Speaker 4 (01:00:32):
Here's the zoom. Oh, oh my god, like James flo
Bron James with the rejection.
Speaker 3 (01:00:39):
Such an insane play, insane play, great call by Nike brand.
Speaker 2 (01:00:44):
I think this is where he smokes the left shoulder hook.
He gets a good look here and he just misses it.
But he's probably gassed from the most ridiculous athletic play
of his career.
Speaker 9 (01:00:56):
For to shoot James inside Jim short, there is a
lid on the basket and this is this is the brick.
Speaker 5 (01:01:08):
Curry drives on. I pulls back for three. Let'n't leave
it at the ram as Ivan comes yell away.
Speaker 2 (01:01:17):
Time to time out, and to Lebron's credit, he looks
at Tyler here and goes, I'm gassed. Give the ball
to Kyrie. Let's see what he's got.
Speaker 4 (01:01:26):
Look at him.
Speaker 2 (01:01:30):
Do you see the expression on his face right there?
He is gassed? But they've gone heavy through.
Speaker 5 (01:01:37):
Goodness, Oh my goodness.
Speaker 1 (01:01:40):
Great pass by Curry, running hard by.
Speaker 8 (01:01:45):
And superhuman defensive recovery by Lebron.
Speaker 2 (01:01:51):
James just an incredible good Jeff and Gundy call to
like you're I'm with you. I'm loving this, I'm loving this.
Old crew. Take Tyl. I'm sure we're biased because these
are the legend childhood in sermit Jefferson.
Speaker 3 (01:02:09):
Great observation by Josh defensively, that's a real challenge for
the Cavaliers.
Speaker 2 (01:02:15):
Mike says. If Steph, yeah, like Steph probably could have
gotten in the way, but I don't think anybody's slim bone.
Speaker 4 (01:02:19):
Him in there.
Speaker 2 (01:02:21):
Lebron goes to Steph here or to Kyrie, trying to
get me attack Steph in the switch and this is
tough shot.
Speaker 4 (01:02:28):
Like Irving and Curry puts it up.
Speaker 2 (01:02:34):
That's such a tough bucket man, ban on this play,
and I like, if you watch Lebron on Harrison Barnes,
did you think, okay, Steph gets Kevin Love on a
twitch here? Why not just iso ing? But Lebron's hawking
the lane? See Lebron watched Lebron again? Lebron's hawking the lane.
Speaker 6 (01:02:52):
So Curry fakes the three steps back crossover, waitna slide.
Speaker 2 (01:02:57):
His feet to really really nice defense and thecond romantic
won a spectacular job by Love.
Speaker 5 (01:03:03):
Irving on the drive goes inside.
Speaker 2 (01:03:05):
I remember thinking, what the hell is doing? Oh my god,
he almost turns it over.
Speaker 5 (01:03:13):
So Barnes files from there.
Speaker 8 (01:03:15):
But that's a bad fat that's a bad that on
three extra seconds and what was Kyrie Irving doing this?
Speaker 2 (01:03:24):
It's funny Jr.
Speaker 3 (01:03:25):
Talking to him being like, yo, can't like slowed down
of all the people between shot, real pressure and stuff
from James.
Speaker 2 (01:03:32):
Yeah, for a couple of years of the future, Cavaliers
have one good seal, good paths and go in the
back court in the last two minutes to get it.
He kind of goes quickly here.
Speaker 4 (01:03:40):
Again, they don't want to go early.
Speaker 5 (01:03:43):
Irving drives to James.
Speaker 2 (01:03:46):
This would this would have been the greatest highlight history
if Lebron would have finished that done, We're ten point
six because Draymond like straight up tries to take him out.
Speaker 5 (01:03:55):
Of the air on this plot.
Speaker 4 (01:03:56):
That's a good play by Draymond Green and.
Speaker 2 (01:03:58):
Lebron classic dramas and makes such a big deal of this.
Basically the greatest flavor Yeah, there's no doubt takes the
corny drama, my favorite's my favorite corner corny drama.
Speaker 5 (01:04:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:04:14):
The medical staff and almost the entire team for the Cavaliers,
the entire bench running down to see if he's okay.
Speaker 2 (01:04:21):
Yeah, the bike says he's going for a flavor one.
I think you're probably right. Part of it that is
the drama. It's the drama and the trying.
Speaker 4 (01:04:27):
To get Yeah, he maybe wanted to rest for the.
Speaker 2 (01:04:32):
Yeah, and Lebron Yeah, honestly.
Speaker 4 (01:04:36):
Chats on it. Let's see that once the chat is
on it.
Speaker 2 (01:04:41):
Anything to win the title. Look at this dunk would
have been so intake that, you know what's so funny.
Every time I would like go back and watch the
highlights of this game, I always just like into the
wish that dunk would have gone through because it's just
was such a crazy highlight injury is like, what the
(01:05:02):
hell was Kyrie on those last couple because that trouble
get it was like he was facing ball pressure just
tas scores it's going.
Speaker 1 (01:05:10):
You cannot have any more timeouts.
Speaker 4 (01:05:13):
That's a good playoff foul, and that is.
Speaker 2 (01:05:15):
You're not agree with you, And I think you make
a fair point in the chat mic that it might
be called the player one today, but it should not be.
That's not a flag with it. Three months. Got to
do what he has to do there to get him.
Speaker 4 (01:05:26):
There's ten seconds left in the NBA Finals game seconds.
You gotta be able.
Speaker 2 (01:05:29):
You can't.
Speaker 4 (01:05:29):
You're not allowed to have one thing like you gotta
you gotta make it, make two courage.
Speaker 5 (01:05:39):
Warriors have two timeouts remaining.
Speaker 4 (01:05:42):
Damn you had two time outs.
Speaker 10 (01:05:43):
Gas stays a three point game and Mike as a player,
I know the outcomes kind of stressed right now.
Speaker 2 (01:05:54):
You don't due worst case scenario, stress the hell out
of the moment and said I missed it.
Speaker 5 (01:05:59):
You gotta stay up up and knocked his free throw down.
Speaker 2 (01:06:01):
If you Lebron James, Warriors will no doubt full time
out miss or make here from James radst do it
too double handed fist.
Speaker 4 (01:06:19):
Cleveland does have a fast stop.
Speaker 6 (01:06:21):
James now with twenty seven points, eleven rebounds and eleven assists.
Speaker 2 (01:06:26):
He even looks younger.
Speaker 5 (01:06:27):
Dude.
Speaker 2 (01:06:28):
It's crazy.
Speaker 4 (01:06:28):
He likes a lie on it.
Speaker 2 (01:06:29):
It's crazy to think about like he's like thirty one
at this point in time. If I remember correctly, thirty three,
thirty one, thirty one.
Speaker 7 (01:06:38):
They get exactly like they want everybody out of my way.
Speaker 4 (01:06:41):
It's time to day.
Speaker 2 (01:06:41):
He's the guy who's thirty one right now, like he's
he's basically like Andrew Wiggins a bit.
Speaker 4 (01:06:49):
Yeah, it doesn't feel it felt old at the time.
It doesn't feel that old man get it done. Players
are definitely extending their careers longer.
Speaker 6 (01:06:57):
Now we're twenty six and back in Cleveland. These fans
realize they're ten point six seconds away now from a championship.
Speaker 5 (01:07:08):
Do you use your foul right here?
Speaker 4 (01:07:10):
That is I would say yes, I'd be Jeff.
Speaker 2 (01:07:15):
Like, think of what Giannis is right now. That's how.
Speaker 4 (01:07:18):
That feels about it a great point of late.
Speaker 5 (01:07:21):
I take the foul on this possession, forcing them to
take it out again.
Speaker 4 (01:07:26):
It's crazy that he even kind of level Jesus, I know,
looking the.
Speaker 2 (01:07:31):
Level of half court polish even goes up a level crazy.
Speaker 5 (01:07:33):
Fake tie it up, throws it in the green, and
a foul on the entry pass. That's the foul to give.
Speaker 6 (01:07:39):
And now they'll take it out of bounds with six
point five remaining, and you got to make sure you're
in nobody's area to allow them to knock down a
three and you get contact.
Speaker 5 (01:07:48):
I lost a playoff game on a phantom four point
play to Jeff Van Gundy a dollar to inbounds Shepherd.
Speaker 2 (01:08:00):
Of this game I lost to Jeff once on. I
remember in the moment, like not believing it as it
was going down because it was such a hotly contested game,
and then suddenly it was over and you had a winner.
Speaker 5 (01:08:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:08:16):
It's just over all of a sudden Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:08:19):
Oh man.
Speaker 4 (01:08:19):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (01:08:21):
So what were the major takeaways, Jackson?
Speaker 4 (01:08:23):
My major takeaways are.
Speaker 3 (01:08:26):
Both the all the things that everybody talks about, ring Trill,
the drought at the end of the fourth quarter for
both teams Wild, and then the festest is Zilee sub
back in. I mean, I'm sure every person on the court,
every coach probably has at least one thing that they're like, oh,
I would have done one thing, that one thing differently.
Maybe it's that Lebron if he goes left handed lay
up for him.
Speaker 4 (01:08:46):
If they had, you know, they win.
Speaker 3 (01:08:47):
So it's fine, But I think the fastest e Zilee
sub is pretty tough.
Speaker 4 (01:08:52):
Is pretty tough.
Speaker 3 (01:08:53):
It was it was obvious in the earlier parts of
the game that the center rotation for the Warriors was
just getting a brutally picked on, brutally picked on.
Speaker 4 (01:09:02):
And then I also think.
Speaker 3 (01:09:06):
The Warriors left the game with the timeout, and I
wonder some of those possessions, maybe the Steph Curry on
Kevin Love possession, maybe when there's like eight seconds left
and because he tries to shake him, he doesn't get
and then he gives dumps it off. Yeah, at that
point there is I want to say, six seconds on
the shot clock something in that ballpark. Draymond ends up
giving it back with like four seconds left after that
dump off. I'm probably it's easy to say now, but
(01:09:27):
I wonder if Steve is like, maybe that's a time out,
get a really nice ato.
Speaker 4 (01:09:32):
We don't even need it.
Speaker 3 (01:09:33):
Very obvious stuff is like gunning for the three when
you don't necessarily need one in that moment. That's probably
the moment if you're Steve Kurv that you're like shoot
time out there or the fests zilely sub but the blocks.
Speaker 2 (01:09:43):
Were there for a rest, like everyone's gassed.
Speaker 3 (01:09:46):
Yeah, but the block and the shot still are are
as unbelievable in the rewatch as they are as it was.
Speaker 4 (01:09:53):
In the moment.
Speaker 2 (01:09:54):
Yeah, you know, that was one of the big things
that stood out to me too, specifically with the Kyrie shot.
You know, it's it's very much like a shot you
know Kyrie can make, like it wasn't anything exceptional, but
it just is crazy to see in that moment in
a game where everyone's like skill stuff was just broke,
Kyrie breaks out like a tough bucket off the bounce
(01:10:17):
like that. And similar with the Lebron thing, like we
saw so many Lebron chase downs over the years that
were just like regular season highlights, but to see him
break it out in such a big spot like that.
Tristan Thompson's defense that whole game, just switching on to
Steph and defending him well on an island, but also
defending and well off ball flying around. I'd love to
(01:10:38):
call out about the bigs. I think that was a
big one for me in retrospect, is like, you know,
if if Steve just rides the death line up longer,
they will have other problems. Like you said, they're gonna
have some problems with Tristan Thompson on the offensive glass.
You're gonna have fatigue problems at that.
Speaker 4 (01:10:55):
Hope we lost you Jay Oh back now you're needed,
but you're needed, Yeah, you're needed.
Speaker 2 (01:11:07):
You have like fatigue problems that could happen in that
sort of situation too, So it's not like it's always
like kind of feels a little Monday morning quarterback. He
always to like to go back. And I'm with you.
I think I think it's if you ask Steve, he
got him, you know, a couple of glasses of wine
in him, and you were like, hey, dude, like what
would you do differently in that game? I guarantee you
the first thing he'd say is he'd say, I wrote
(01:11:28):
a Zi Lee and Veraj out too much. Yeah, And
like that's the thing, Like even the Boget thing, Like
I think Boget's just a better player, so he's going
to be more useful, but it's very clear, like Steph
Curry is an incredible basketball players, the best player on
the team, and he was the target on defense often.
So like I think, I think like Cleveland was clearly
much more of a matchup attack type of setup, whereas
(01:11:51):
the Warriors actually stayed closer to their like they didn't
just spam Steph high ballscreen. So like it wasn't like
like We're gonna watch twenty twenty two war your Celtics
and I'll be really curious to see on rewatch how
much a pick and roll they ran in that game,
because in later versions of the team they will default
to Steph pick and roll more. But to your point,
(01:12:11):
Steph wasn't the same type of like on ball player
at this point in his career that he was in
like twenty twenty one, where he became a dude who
was just frying every league off the ballance, you know
what I mean. And he did, by the way, go
to a one on one against Thompson there down the
stretch and actually hit him with a little pullbacks of
one hit a three. But yeah, those are the big
ones Thompson's defense. I loved your call outs about the
(01:12:34):
highlights that the block and the shot are still just
all time great. At the tip highlights, it really could
have gone either way. There's so many what ifs about
that situation, like a couple of bad turnovers down the
stretch for Golden State, you know, the Lebron's little left
handed layup like we talked about, or there, they're the
(01:12:55):
like a mist call here, missed call there that could
have gone a different way. Like it's just another game
that that on rewatch, it seemed like it had a
million pivot points that could have sent it in either direct.
But yeah, guys, this is a ton of fun. Thursday
at two pm Pacific Standard time, we are going to
do the same thing with Celtics Warriors Game four from
(01:13:16):
twenty twenty two. I'm very much looking forward to that.
We hope to see you guys. Then, my initial take
on the Fred van Vliet thing is pretty simple. They're
a team that desperately needs ball handling, and so they're
going to need a ball handler. But I'll I'm going
to spend some time just kind of thinking about it
and looking around the league and seeing something that makes
sense and seeing if there's a team out there that
(01:13:36):
I think makes a good trade partner for Houston, and
we'll do some sort of you know, instant reaction type
of deal potentially once we have a little bit more
information on what's going on. But like long and short
of it is this, Houston is a team that we
view as a top tier contender, but their main weakness
is that they're super light on ball handling, and you
losing Fred van Vliet is just a gigantic blow in
(01:13:59):
that department. But yeah, we'll be back on I recorded
a couple of videos with Jackson this morning. We got
a video tomorrow about the Johnathan Kaminga situation as well
as some mailbag stuff. We have a video on the
Clippers that's coming out on Wednesday, and then obviously we'll
see you guys on Thursday at two pm Pacific Standard
time for the stream. I appreciate you guys, thanks so
much for coming to hang out.
Speaker 4 (01:14:18):
It's good to be back.
Speaker 2 (01:14:19):
It's gonna be a really fun season. We're less than
a month away from the start. I'm very excited to
cover it with you guys, and we will see you
next time.
