Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hey there everybody.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
It is Monday, December fifteenth, and we are continuing our
final week actually.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
Of the holiday gift guide.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
For folks still trying to check off your list, we
have gift number eleven for you, and this one is
so good. DJ has already purchased it for another person
on his list.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
Yeahanks, you've trying to steal it before we were able
to review it. So I actually know how much this costs.
I know how good it is. I know the ups,
the downs, the ends, and the house. This is a
wonderful product.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
Yes, we are talking about the U Green Magnetic portable charger.
Here is what the company says. This is how they
describe their product. If your phone always seems to die
at the worst possible time, this tiny charger is a
game changer. It snaps onto the back of your iPhone
like a magnet and gives it a quick power boost
without any cords. You can even charge a second device
(00:58):
at the same time. It's small enough to toss in
a pocket, and it has a fold out stand so
you can prop up your phone while it charges. Perfect
for watching videos or facetiming hands free, and the little
screen on the front makes cute faces to show you
how much battery is left, so you always know when
it needs a recharge. It also gives you the percentage correct,
(01:21):
which is really really cool, so you can see just
how much it's charged, and you can see how much
charge it's going to be able to give your phone.
And that's always a guessing game, so to actually get
the number is perfect.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
Yes, I agree with it. Some of them just have
like a bar, yes, a dot. It's the screen is
a game changing selling point for a kid. We just
it's pretty cute.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
Yes, it is totally cute, and we just traveled with
it and I used it and I can see, okay, cool,
it's got fifty five percent left, so I'll take twenty
five percent for me. I'll give you thirty for the other.
Like literally, you can divide it among folks. If everyone
needs to charge it, you can see, okay, well you
can take twenty percent. You'd never be able to do
that before with another charger.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
Yeah, you can negotiate how much each person gets. Maybe
somebody can buy a little energy off of you. Who knows.
But yes, this thing for that reason is this is
I'm trying to think if I could say it's the best.
It might be the best one I've used. It might
be the best one I've used. One of these charging.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
Bricks I agree to.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
And they also talked about how people want to know
it is smaller, which is nice in terms of bringing
it along with you, but in terms of its battery size,
it says that it can charge most phones one to
two times with one of its charges, so that's a
full recharge. That's pretty pretty cool. So what we think
about it. We love its look. I like the way
(02:41):
it looks.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
Don't you.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
It's sleek, the size is right. It is not too bulky,
but it's big enough to make you feel like it's
something sturdy. Love even the arm that folds. It's not
like a lot of those other standard arms that you
see that kind of come off the back. It kind
of almost like a basket a basket handle is what
it looks like. And it's steady. Everything's firm.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
Oh yeah, this thing is I love this And the
magnet feature it really does stick like it works very
very well.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
And then through my case it was still holding up.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
Oh wow.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
I didn't know that, and I didn't realize while it
was charging that because I used to have one of
those phone cases that had a stand on it, and
I loved it until it broke off.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
Yeah, that's the one I'm talking about that.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
Is totally broke off.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
But anyway, I didn't realize that this charger has a
stand on it that is so perfect.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
How many times do your kids you've seen them.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
I don't do it as much, but our kids do
it watching a show, whether they're in the car, on
a plane, whatever, and they have it on one of
those stands that's perfect while it's charging and in it's lightweight.
I just thought we were like check, check and check,
all right, and guess what.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
The Amazon reviews are pretty much in.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Line with this, So if you are looking, I think
this is a great gift, and so do the folks
who have bought it. So eighty eight percent of the
Amazon review are either five or four stars. Seventy four
percent five stars, fourteen percent four stars. And I do
have some of the reviews just so you don't take
our word for it, because there are a lot of
chargers out there, a.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
Lot of ones to choose from. Here is one review.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
I bought the U Green you know, mag Safe portable
charger as a gift, and the person I gave it
to absolutely loves it. They use it daily and can't
stop raving about how convenient and reliable it is. The
magnetic attachment is super strong, so it stays securely on
their phone while charging, even if they're moving around. It's compact, lightweight,
(04:35):
easy to carry, which makes it perfect for on the
go use. So basically exactly what we just said, And okay,
so I do. I did find one critical review. It
was hard to find. Can you guess what they were
upset about?
Speaker 3 (04:50):
That it didn't come in a variety of colors.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
That's funny, but no, that's not it.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
Maybe it was too much weight, totu bulky for.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Some people, so no, they The complaint was that it
didn't charge quickly enough. If you have patients, this charger
is for you. I would never recommend it to anyone.
It's not worth it for the price. There are cheaper
ones that do a better job. It said slow to charge.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
Did you experience phone or charge the brick itself?
Speaker 1 (05:21):
It charged the phone?
Speaker 3 (05:23):
Oh no, I didn't. I mean we were actually using
it on a train and on a plane, so maybe
we had a little more patience and didn't. It wasn't
a big deal. But no, oh no, we use these
things plenty, and I didn't I would have noticed that. Man,
this has taken a while.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
And then the funny thing is, uh, it is interesting
what people complain about.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
Another person who gave a negative review.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
Said that they were upset it didn't fully charge her
air her iPad. And that's surprising to me that, like
I would imagine that would take a lot more juice.
And so she was upset that this phone charger wasn't
charging her iPad fully.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
Oh no, no, she made a mistake. She bought a
phone charger. She meant to get an electrical outlet, is
what she needs. What are you doing? Okay? That's It is.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
Funny sometimes when you think it's unfair, because I'm thinking,
if I'm a company and I'm getting one star from somebody,
and I'm like, but you're using the product in a
way that it wasn't intended to be used for. So
that was another one who was upset. And the other
one was that it came damaged. I mean every now
and then, obviously that happens with just packaging, et cetera.
So to the point where everyone has been raving about this,
(06:32):
I think this is a very safe, safe bet if
you're looking for a gadget to give someone, and I
feel like anybody right, any age, anyone who was a phone. Basically,
this would be a good gift.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
For This is going to be a hit with kids
because of it's something about that little screen. It's great
to have that monitor on there that you can keep up.
It has a digital display showing how much juice you have.
But it makes faces when it's fully charged. It makes
a little smiley face. When it's medium charge is just
a serious face. And then it gets a little low,
it makes a sad fit like. Just something about that
(07:06):
is cute. To the point if any kid in that
lane of that first phone from ten to I don't know, sixteen,
they see they're just as a gadget and a gimmick,
they're gonna love it. This is going to be a hit.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
Does Sabine know that she's getting it for Christmas?
Speaker 2 (07:22):
Yet?
Speaker 3 (07:22):
She doesn't know yet.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
And when she came over, we had a pile of
gifts on our desk that ihearted sent to us for
us to try out. She made a beeline for that.
In particular, she knew exactly what to look for. It's
just if you want to get inside the mind of
a twelve thirteen year old, it's good to know. I
think a lot of people I struggle with that age,
like what do I get?
Speaker 1 (07:40):
What do I get those kids?
Speaker 2 (07:41):
So to see her just know immediately what she wanted,
what she gravitated towards. And they were like, there were
makeup products, there were other things there.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
She went crazy. She did not want to let us
use it. She wanted to take it on spot.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
All right, when we come back, we're going to tell
you where you can get it, how much it's going
to set you back, and we will preview.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
Tomorrow's gift number twelve. Welcome back everyone.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
We are on our eleventh gift and our holiday gift
guid We are talking about the U Green Magnetic portable charger.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
And it was a huge hit in this house.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
It's a huge hit on all the Amazon reviews, and
we are highly recommending this is a great gift for
just about anybody on your list who owns the phone.
They're just really cool, who doesn't need an extra charge
and this is a fun way to charge your phone.
So you can buy this on Amazon. Not shocked because
I read all the Amazon reviews and.
Speaker 1 (08:46):
The retail price.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
Look, normally it's fifty five ninety nine, it's twenty five
percent off right now today, I just checked it on Amazon,
so it's forty one to ninety nine.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
What do you think of that price point?
Speaker 3 (08:56):
That's what I paid for it.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
You got twenty five percent off to and you thought,
I mean that's a good deal for that.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
Oh, I it's rare that you get to use the product.
Then by it, I actually knew it was a good
I knew I was getting exactly what I wanted. And
I had somebody in the house, and I know exactly
what she wants, and it's.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
This thing that's perfect. So yes, we're excited.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
In fact, now I'm concerned because it's a bean. Opens
that up and then the girls are gonna be like, wait,
we didn't get a phone charger?
Speaker 3 (09:24):
Is that what we're doing now?
Speaker 1 (09:25):
I was just thinking maybe I have to go on
and get more. So, yes, that forty one ninety nine.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
On Amazon, all right, tomorrow, we are very I'm very excited.
In fact, I can't wait to try this gift out.
I haven't yet. And it's not just for women. This
is for anyone who has skin.
Speaker 3 (09:40):
But this everybody who has skin, Yeah, everybody.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
Humans, humans, probably maybe skin that would you'd like to
see get a little firmer, a little tighter, glow, a
little brighter. This one apparently has won twenty seven Beauty Awards,
and we are going to highlight this gift for anyone
who has skin on your gift list.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
You know what, you all, You're fooling the people. This
is not for everybody. This product is my hand. It
is not Who's it for a certain segment of the populace.
