What happened to Aisha Amira Muhammad. Well, today we're exploring
the puzzling disappearance of the Philly woman who vanished on
November thirtieth, two thousand, along with her two year old
son Amaru. The chilling mystery unfolds near her residence in

the sixteen hundred block of North fifty sixth Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
This is the last place she was seen. But things
take an interesting turn just weeks later, a glimmer of
hope arose when little Amaru suddenly reappeared in the doorsteps

(01:00):
of Liberty Temple Church in New Jersey. He was neatly
dressed and appeared in good health, but he couldn't recall
the person who had dropped him off. He could only
remember his first name. It would still be several more
days until the little boy was finally identified. Soon after,

he was reunited with his mother's relatives. But it was
the frightening tale he reported to authorities of what happened
to his mother that was so shocking. Describing details of
her murder and even naming her killer. Amru shared with
police that his mother was dead, recanting statements like quote,

(01:46):
they were fighting, Mommy was bleeding. Mommy got hit with
the rock and a man punched my mommy in the
face and she was bleeding. I was fighting him and
Mommy was fighting him. The person amaru claims killed his
mother has not been publicly identified. Before Ayisha went missing,

(02:09):
she was juggling work at a beauty salon and studying
at Venus Beauty School. She was also living in a
boarding house run by her father's half brother, Charles Dawkins.
The two reportedly had a troubled relationship, and after Aisha vanished,
her room in his house was found completely cleared out.

(02:32):
The only things remaining were a dresser and a bed
with a bottom sheet. Dawkins told her family that she
had left his home willingly. According to reports, authorities questioned
Dawkins multiple times. It is said that he gave conflicting
accounts on multiple occasions. On January two thousand and one,

he was scheduled for a polygraph test, which he ended
up missing. At the time, he was on parole for
burglary and aggravated robbery when he suddenly stopped checking in
with his parole officer. But in July two thousand and one,
an outstanding warrant would eventually land him back in prison. Now,

let's paint a picture of what Ayisha looked like at
the time of her disappearance. She stood five feet eight
inches tall and weighed one hundred and thirty five pounds.
There's a gap between her two front teeth, as well
as a small scar on her abdomen. Ayisha was twenty
three years old when she vanished. Today she would be
