In this episode of Hunting 4 Answers: On June 24, 2021, 27-year-old Rajah McQueen left her Cleveland, Ohio home—and was never seen again. Hours later, surveillance footage captured her silver 2018 Nissan Sentra back on the streets… but Rajah was gone, and the car had two fresh bullet holes, missing hubcaps and license plate, and was driven by someone else. For four years, her family continued to desperately search for answers. Investigators have named Stan Williams, Rajah’s boyfriend, as a person of interest, while reports suggest his brother Sloan Mitchell may also be involved (not officially confirmed). Authorities believe they’re closer than ever to solving this heartbreaking case and are asking the public for help. Anyone with information should contact Cleveland Police Detective Kevin Callahan at 216-623-7697, the FBI tip line at 216-583-5385. The case number is: 2021-197591.

Before we get into today's episode, we've got to celebrate
the Black Effect Podcast Network. It's turning five years old man.
Five years of powerful voices, unforgettable moments in a community
that keeps growing. This is the power of the platform.
Now let's get into it.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Hunting for Answers is a production of The Black Effect
Podcast Network and iHeartRadio. Welcome to Hunting for Answers, a
true crime podcast. I'm your host Hunter, and today we're
highlighting a case that began when a woman in Cleveland, Ohio,
vanished on June twenty fourth, twenty twenty one. She left

(00:36):
behind two sons, a family desperate for answers, and a
community grappling with the unimaginable. Her silver twenty eighteen Nissan
CenTra was last seen on surveillance cameras, but the mother herself,
has not been seen since. Four years later. Investigators have

(00:58):
named persons of interest, but her case remains unsolved. This
is the story of Raja McQueen. Raja Adriana McQueen was
born on March twenty first, nineteen ninety four. By twenty
twenty one, she was twenty seven. A devoted mother, a

(01:21):
music student at Rosedale Bible College and known for her
right personality. She talked to her family constantly, never going
long without checking in. Friends described her as caring, dedicated
to her children, and working hard to build for her future.

(01:41):
Raja is described as standing five six weighing about one
hundred and thirty three pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
She had such a bright future yet still ahead of her,
but come June twenty twenty one, her bright future would
take a tragic turn. June twenty fourth, twenty twenty one,

(02:05):
a Thursday morning in Cleveland, Raja left her home planning
to meet her boyfriend Stan Williams. At seven thirty am,
surveillance cameras caught her driving her silver Nissan Sendra near
East one hundred and thirty first and Harvard Avenue. This
would be the last time she would be seen alive.

(02:26):
What started as a simple meeting would quickly turn into
every parent's worst nightmare. Just hours later, at eleven thirty am,
Cleveland city cameras captured something chilling Raja's car driving through
the streets without her behind the wheel. The vehicle now

(02:49):
had two fresh bullet holes, one in the roof and
one in the rear passenger door. The hub caps and
license plate were missing, a dealer plate was visible in
the rear window, and an unknown person was driving. After this,
neither Raja nor her car would be seen again for

(03:13):
four years. Detectives followed leads, interviewed witnesses, and pursued tips,
but no arrests were made. Raja's family never gave up.
They organized searches, kept her story in the news, and
held on to hope. Every day brought the same questions,

(03:34):
where was Raja, did something happen to her? And if
she did meet a tragic fate, would there ever be justice.
In June twenty twenty five, four years later, Cleveland Police
detective Kevin Callahan an FBI special agent Andrew Burke, announced

(03:55):
a breakthrough. The case had turned into a death investigation.
Stan Williams, Raja's boyfriend at the time, was named as
a person of interest. Some reports also mentioned Sloane Mitchell,
Stan's brother, but this has not been officially confirmed. Surveillance

(04:15):
cameras captured Stan driving Raja's car that day, while an
unidentified third person may also have been involved. When questioned,
Stan claimed he dropped Raja off at a gas station
near Broadway in Union, but investigators were skeptical. Records show

(04:37):
he had multiple felony convictions, including drug trafficking and weapons offenses.
His brother Sloane, also had passed drug related convictions. These
details began to paint a grim picture for authorities. When
contacted by reporters, Stan's answers were troubling to some. He

(04:59):
claimed memory loss due to alcohol and said he didn't
know what happened to Raja's car, and he said that
the attention pointed to him was probably because he was
one of the last ones kicking it with her. His
words left more questions than answers. Investigators believe Raja's silver

(05:21):
CenTra may have changed hands or ended up at a
chop shop. Like Raja, the car has never been found.
FBI Special Agent Burke stated they have lots of evidence
about what happened and when, but still need that final
key piece to close the case. Authorities unfortunately believe that

(05:44):
Raja is no longer alive, noting that someone who was
in constant contact with family disappearing for four years is
a significant concern. The FBI and the crime stoppers of
Cuyahoga County are offering a reward of up to thirty
thousand dollars for any information surrounding Raja's mysterious disappearance and

(06:08):
her missing vehicle. Despite naming an official and unofficial persons
of interest, no charges have been filed. Investigators continue to
search for that crucial piece of evidence that will help
bring justice for Raja. Today, Raja McQueen would be thirty
one years old. Her family and advocates continue to seek justice,

(06:32):
holding on to hope that someone will come forward and
bring her story to a resolution. Loved ones have even
created a Facebook page called Fine Raja McQueen to keep
her story alive. It's garnered over four hundred members in counting.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of her loved

(06:54):
ones as they continue to navigate this difficult journey, and
I hope that they are able to receive the ads
that they deserve. Anyone with information about Roger's case should
contact the Cleveland Police Department or the FBI tipline. Contact
details can be found in the description box below. As

(07:15):
we close out this episode, share Roger's story. Spreading awareness
