Gazette and the news is pipe fin hot on this
beautiful day.
Speaker 4 (00:34):
Obviously, we need to start with the breaking, breaking, breaking,
breaking news, breaking, breaking, breaking, breaking, breaking. Do you want
to do the honors? You do the honors. You're the
pregnant lady, you do the honors.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
Lauren Graham and Alexis Liddell are reuniting at the Emmys
as presenters, so we are going to see them on
our TVs this weekend.
Speaker 4 (01:00):
I'm yeah. First of all, what day are the Emmys? Sunday?
Speaker 1 (01:03):
Sunday? Sunday? Oh my god, we must tune in. We must.
Speaker 4 (01:07):
First of all, I'm going to now, I don't want
to be that person because award shows are not my
favorite thing anymore. Back in my younger years, I used
to be so into them. Let's have an Emmy party,
let's have an Oscars party, Let's do this, let's do this.
I'm not as sold on to award shows. That being said,
totally totally will tune in for this let me go
(01:29):
through a few of my other favorite presenters, if you
will indulch me. Okay, Jason Bateman, let me talk about
Jason Bateman for a second. I just bought tickets to
see SmartLess at the Hollywood Bowl. The fact that there
is a podcast happening. Do you want to go with me?
By the way?
Speaker 1 (01:46):
Podcast supporting other podcasts? When is this correct?
Speaker 4 (01:50):
November fifteenth? How do you think you'll feel on November fifteenth?
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Is it in La?
Speaker 4 (01:54):
The Danielle.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
Hes in the Hollywood Bowl? Yeah, that is La. I'm
just surprised you're gonna be down here for just that reason.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
Well, I'll make another reason, but like, are you a
lot out by November fifteenth? I feel like that you
might be.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
As long as everything is kosher.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
Right cool, and I'm not in a diaper anymore, I'll
be there.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
First of all, obviously Kristen Bell because nobody wants this
is coming, and she's nominated like a thousand times, Kaffee Baits,
Alexis Bludell, Sterling, k Brown, my favorite from Paradise, Jennifer Coolidge,
Stephen Colbert, Eric Dane bless him. Like that was the
one that I was like, oh, I goes Tina Fake,
Walton Goggins my favorite that I've been telling everybody for years.
(02:46):
Justin Hartley Rischka hard today. Sorry if this is boring,
but like Christopher Maloney, who's on top of my one
of my hotless Leanne Morgan, very funny.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
And don't forget the host. Nate Bergatsky, which is.
Speaker 4 (03:01):
Nate Bargatsy is one of my favorite comedians. I feel
like I discovered him a couple of years ago, like
during you.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
Have always been on the name.
Speaker 4 (03:08):
I know because I somehow discovered him I don't know,
on TikTok or something. And then he did this hilarious
special during COVID, like one of those like outdoor things,
just trying to make a TV show like outdoors of
people sitting five miles apart. He is so funny, Like
I hope he crushes the Emmys. I don't know, because
I think it's hard. Those shows are hard, so I'm
(03:30):
gonna give him some grace. But I also hate that
saying give home some grace, but like, I'll give you
some grace whatever. It's such a can.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
We talk about who has already won an Emmy this year?
Speaker 4 (03:42):
Sean had to see from the hit which I Oh
my god, Sean, I'm sorry. I feel like we helped.
I feel like we helped because we booked him on.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
I know, I know, I know, but no, this is
tied back to Gilmore Girls, Think Hard.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
Someone already won an Emmy from Gilmore.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
Creative Emmy Award, Melissa McCarthy. It was a show for
outstanding Choreography.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
Oh my god, good for them, Good for them because.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
I good for them. Good for them.
Speaker 4 (04:19):
Yeah, that show. I could not get five minutes into it.
Did Jackie ever finish it? Jackie? Did you ever get
to the end?
Speaker 1 (04:26):
I literally have not you tru so I got to
the end. I haven't finished the last episode.
Speaker 4 (04:36):
That show was not good. But okay, anyway, he's hilarious.
Yay at all, Yay Gilmore Girls. Okay, I'm assuming it's
something to do the twenty fifth anniversary. I don't think
there's something going to surprise us with, like do more
Gilmore Girls. But whatever.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
There I mean, no shortage of just companies, and I
know it's because it's a twenty fifth anniversary.
Speaker 4 (05:06):
Just products, products, products, products.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
On products on products.
Speaker 4 (05:10):
I still want that tote bag, the toe bag with
all the festivals. But what I mean me and just
please this Christmas, We're gonna have the best gift ideas
of all time. Twenty five year anniversary gift.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
So caught in on is doing? They have like two
shirts but the bomber jacket.
Speaker 4 (05:26):
Wait, can you show me a picture? I'm not seeing this?
Can someone buy this for me? Immediately? Right away? Right away?
Speaker 1 (05:31):
With literally wear I need me realize, how.
Speaker 4 (05:34):
Do I see a picture? I didn't I miss this?
But do I see this?
Speaker 1 (05:38):
Em and Jackie one of them will send it to you?
Speaker 4 (05:41):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (05:41):
It is? It is? How much is it available? Eighty
nine ninety nine?
Speaker 4 (05:46):
What? That's not even very expensive? How do I buy this?
Speaker 3 (05:49):
So?
Speaker 4 (05:49):
I texted me, well, is there good T shirts? I'm
really needing some T shirts? Okay, hold on?
Speaker 3 (05:54):
The T shirts are cute, but they aren't like they
aren't like.
Speaker 4 (05:58):
Oh my gosh, I think it's a sweater. What I
want is someone to buy me that because I'll wear
it for the Christmas event.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
That is real cute?
Speaker 4 (06:07):
Can you buy that? And what else? Is there? Is
there anything?
Speaker 1 (06:10):
Two shirts? The shirts are just are kind of basic.
I'm not gonna take that sweater.
Speaker 4 (06:15):
Can someone buy me that sweater? In a medium and
I will wear that for the Christmas. Yeah, it's super
ful because if it's hot, I'm fine. If it's cold,
it's fine. Right, it's a good color, all right. What else?
Speaker 1 (06:26):
So okay, So that is you know, an item.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
But then if you live in La, there is a
weekend in stars Hollow at the Grove What presented by
Warner Brothers October fourth through fifth.
Speaker 4 (06:43):
I'm not in La, obviously you're going right, Well, no,
you won't be able.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
To do they will be brush we go, Who can go?
Speaker 4 (06:52):
Who can go? Tara? Tara can go?
Speaker 1 (06:54):
Tara is going.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
This is gonna be one of those things where Tara
needs to do the breaking news with Suzanne where the
podcasts right away from the car.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
So this is what.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
This is the description of the event. Step into the
charm of stars Hollow for a weekend filled with nostalgia, laughter,
and plunge dot.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
Coffee I don't know.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
Join us for a two day immersive fan experience that
brings the beloved world of Gilmour Girls to life.
Speaker 1 (07:20):
It's presented by Warner Brothers. So you know it's gonna
be It's gonna be legit.
Speaker 4 (07:25):
Bring the credit card and Tar needs to go. I'm
trying to see if I could get back, but I
don't think I can. But maybe.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
But epic, I mean, this is iconic.
Speaker 4 (07:34):
I mean, way to go, Warner Brothers. You are not
disappointing me at all with the twenty fifth year. You
are right, and I tip my hat to you. We
are working hard on the Christmas event we should have.
Scott will announce it. But we will have all the
details on that coming very soon.
Speaker 1 (07:50):
Yeah, whoa, I know.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
Okay, So it's just I mean going back to just
viral moments. Have you seen like I'm sure you have,
but if you just scroll at Instagram every once in
a while, you'll come across a scene from Gilmore Girls
where they lay over a Taylor Swift song.
Speaker 4 (08:11):
Yep, it's everywhere on my TikTok right now. It's so
much on my TikTok. I think we started it by
bringing that up. The other day.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
There's a scene, the scene in you know the Movies
or specials, Netflix, whatever you want to call it, where
you know, Rory and Logan essentially have their last kiss
and you know, say love it but more moving on,
and they put Taylor Swift song Last Kiss over it
and I mel tid. I couldn't even handle, like, why
(08:46):
was Taylor Swift? Why did Taylor Swift not drop these
albums during the Gilmore Girls era? Because I needed them
over these scenes? It is oh my god. It just
brings a whole different level. If you haven't it, will
post it on our Instagram because everyone deserves to see it.
Speaker 1 (09:03):
It is incredible.
Speaker 3 (09:05):
But on that topic, if you have been seeing The
Summer I Turn pretty, Taylor Swift songs are basically over
every single scene, which is I mean, I don't even
have words.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
That's probably why it's so good.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
Wait, the real Taylor Swift song? So they used they
paid all that money?
Speaker 1 (09:23):
Oh yeah?
Speaker 4 (09:24):
Oh I just saw Mark Maren. I think Mark Maren
has like a documentary or something where he uses a
Taylor Swift song and someone asked him how much it was? God,
what did I see?
Speaker 2 (09:33):
That?
Speaker 4 (09:34):
Is it Mark Maren? I don't know who it was.
Somebody was asking how much and I think he gave
a nice answer. I don't remember what I'm in.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
Every scene is a Taylor Swift song.
Speaker 4 (09:45):
Maybe she loves the show, maybe.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
She has to.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
This leads me into my next story, which is Lauren
Graham was having dinner with Jenny Han, which if you
know who Jenny Han.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
Is, Oh, yes, I've heard. I didn't know this, but
I heard about.
Speaker 3 (10:10):
This creator, author, and showrunner of the Summer I Turned Pretty,
which I.
Speaker 4 (10:18):
Can't And somehow they're friends, right, I gotta start watching.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
They're friends, and not only are they friends, but they
need to like work together because whatever Jenny Hans's next
thing is, Lauren Graham must be involved.
Speaker 4 (10:31):
Well, is there more Summer I Turned Pretty? How can
Lauren Graham get it? What? It's a two season and done?
Speaker 3 (10:37):
No, this is the third season and we have two
more episodes and that's it.
Speaker 4 (10:41):
Why is it? But why is it done? I'm just curious.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
And the story's done well because it's modeled.
Speaker 4 (10:45):
Like Hunger Games or something. It's like Hunger Games.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
Yeah, it's modeled after Jenny Hans's book, So I got it.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
Yeah, it ends here. Whoa I know?
Speaker 4 (10:56):
Handmaid's Tale though, was on a book and it went
on and on and they started making up new stuff.
Speaker 1 (11:01):
Well, she said that this is the last season.
Speaker 3 (11:03):
Hopefully one day it comes back because it is my
favorite show on TV right now.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
Oh, but what else I mean? Oh?
Speaker 3 (11:14):
Speaking of viral they're the Instagram handle at how the
Helen posted, uh this, you know what team is chat
GBT on?
Speaker 1 (11:25):
And I don't know if you do chat GBT.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
I'm I feel like I should because I've had friends
that sometimes I.
Speaker 4 (11:31):
Just google something and I feel like something comes up
like AI.
Speaker 3 (11:34):
Now, no, chat GBT is like a app. I just
haven't used it yet, but I have friends that like.
But somebody, this person asked chat GBT which team they
were on, and what do you think they guessed? For
Gilmore Girls the boys.
Speaker 4 (11:52):
I'm giving a second, give me a moment, give me
a moment. Give Dean.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Please, es.
Speaker 3 (12:03):
Of course, And the reasoning was he grew for himself,
not just Rory, and in the end he became someone
who respected her, encouraged her dreams, and didn't hold her back.
But let's be real, maybe none of them were envy.
Speaker 4 (12:14):
Yeah. Look, and he was really thriving there. He was
thriving in the movies. He was really thriving in the movies.
And Logan was cheating on his fiance. So like, I guess,
I don't know why I said Dean. I think I
just said Dean because I just didn't want to say
Jess even though I knew it was.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
Jess And also.
Speaker 4 (12:31):
Like the in real life, if someone was like Jared Padileki,
Matt Zukri or Milo vent Emilia, I'm just like tapping out.
I'm just like I can't pick. I'm obviously Matt Zukri.
But I also would be like, this is challenging, Like
that's not any kind of clear cut anything.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
Yeah, no, it is very clear clut for me.
Speaker 4 (12:53):
Like if you were like Joey Chandler or Joey Chandler
or Ross, it's not hard for me. Well, actually it's hard.
I used to be Chandler, and I might be Joey,
Greg Peter or Bobby. Who are you picking if they're
like Greg Peter or Bob, I'm I kind of go Peter.
I don't know want that choice. What about Slater Zach
(13:16):
Morris or I wanted to call him?
Speaker 1 (13:19):
I couldn't tell you.
Speaker 4 (13:20):
It's not what's screech ah. That's tough between for me
Slater and Zach Morris. Wow mm hmm, it's all hard.
Let me think of one that's not hard. They're all
these are all not clear cut for me. Uncle Jesse,
Danny Tanner, Uncle Joey obviously, John Samos.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
H those are hard, those are hard, those are kind
of hard. I would go with good old John Stamos too, though.
I hate to be this person that pivots to just.
Speaker 4 (13:55):
Fine, do it, do it?
Speaker 1 (13:56):
I got all a bad story?
Speaker 4 (13:59):
Oh no, do we I know what it is? I
did not. I saw the headline. I know that something
happened with Sebastian Bach. But then I was like, I
don't know that. I want to read this or watch this.
Do you want to tell me what happened? Or should
we just like.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
He just looks Sebastian Bach has been good to us. Yeah,
I love Sebastian, were awesome every time we've worked with.
Speaker 4 (14:22):
You do something bad? Do you do something bad? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (14:24):
He flips it on a fan who wanted a hug.
But TMD has the video and all the information. I
maybe he was having a bad day because again he
has been so kind because he's so huggy, and he's
so huggy.
Speaker 4 (14:38):
Yeah, he got mad at the fan that wanted the hug.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
Yeah, I mean.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
I started testing somebody out like it was Yeah, it
wasn't good.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
It wasn't good.
Speaker 4 (14:56):
I know, like Oopsie's I'm sorry. I don't.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
I have not seen if he has done a statement.
This was just three days ago.
Speaker 3 (15:05):
So Sepastian, I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt.
Maybe you had a really bad day. You have been
nothing but nice to us.
Speaker 4 (15:12):
Hugs are hard, like I don't know. Maybe I don't know.
So he just got real mad, did he swear?
Speaker 1 (15:17):
Yeah, he started cussing the lady out in the craft.
Speaker 4 (15:21):
Oh no, no.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
I know, I know, I know.
Speaker 4 (15:25):
If you don't want to give hugs, it's hard to
be famous, That's what I'll say, because hugs are if
you're famous, people love hugs.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
He just like your face being hard isa for me.
Speaker 4 (15:37):
This is why I think about Listen, if you want
to what if we become so famous and fame would
be hard for me? I'm not gonna lie. Fame would
be hard.
Speaker 1 (15:44):
Podcasting is way different.
Speaker 3 (15:46):
It is. Wait, we can still go to the grocery
store and people don't know who our face.
Speaker 4 (15:49):
Is, like, you're no good. But I listen. If you
want to become a tee, well, I guess we wouldn't
be on it.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
We would have actors, So yeah, absolutely not.
Speaker 3 (15:57):
We'll have our true because fame is hard, like famous,
that's what's gonna.
Speaker 4 (16:02):
Be hard when I start dating Joe Jonas, Like, it's
gonna be hard because I'm gonna be like, oh, everywhere
we go there's a camera, Joe, this is tough. And
then like I'll be like, oh, I don't know if
we should go out, and then they're gonna have the
whole like she's so much older than him, thaying oh,
maybe it's not a great idea. I love it.
Speaker 3 (16:22):
Joe Jonas's new girlfriend, Amy Sugarman, what you need to
know about her?
Speaker 4 (16:26):
Top ten and all the comments will be like she's
way too old. She's too old.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
So it's like I'm.
Speaker 4 (16:32):
Opening myself up, all right. I don't want to tell
Joe now that it's not going to work out. Oh boy.
Oh by the way, you know, when you think you've
discovered something, you're like, I am team Joe, and then
you realize the entire world is also team Joe.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (16:50):
Like I've had that many times, Like Walton Goggins. I
was like, I discovered Walton Goggins and now the entire
world I know.
Speaker 3 (16:57):
But I'll give you Walton Goggins because you were ahead
of your time on that.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
Joe Jonas.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
Amy called me last week, you guys, literally last week.
And she goes, Damn, I had a revelation today and
I was like, oh, dudell, tell me, tell me, tell me.
She goes, I am team Joe Jonas, and I said, honey,
sit down, where have you been for the last twenty years?
It's always been Joe. It's always been I've.
Speaker 4 (17:23):
Never watched any of these documentaries. I didn't even know
there were documentaries. It's because TikTok just does that like
that kwan clips over and over and over and over
from vacation eyes or whatever. Do you know that I'm
talking out? No, oh, you know the other one that
TikTok is just like and Joe Jonas is milking it.
(17:43):
Let me tell you there is this lyric in a
Joonas Jonas brother song. I don't know the song, but
it says something like I'm about to get naked or
something like that. And let me tell you, I've never
known anyone to milk it as hard as Joejonas and
me being completely all for it. In the concert, he
does these little moves every time that muck and I'm like,
(18:06):
you know what, you are milking it? And I am
president of your fan club Jo Jones because it is
real good. And then he's got the other one where
I guess they call it a growl. He does this
growl thing, and I think this is what TikTok does.
It knows. I watched one a couple of times and
now I've gotten four hundred.
Speaker 1 (18:25):
It's called an algorithm.
Speaker 4 (18:26):
Well I don't know if I like it or not,
but I cannot escape Jonas content. Like I'm like, a's
getting nothing but Jonas content.
Speaker 3 (18:34):
Right, Well, I mean okay, So somehow before popping out
a baby, I was able to go to the Jonah's
Brother's concert this past weekend, and I totally are you went.
I went because it was at my husband's place of work.
Speaker 4 (18:47):
Oh my god, I need a reap you did you
see that? I'm about to get naked and move.
Speaker 3 (18:54):
Joe has been a babe from day I've always been
a Joe girly always. However, however, Kevin looks real for.
Speaker 4 (19:04):
Every That's what Tanya Rad told me, that it's really Kevin.
Here's the thing, I've met the Joke Brother's no less
than one hundred times, Like I completely know them, right,
So it's a little weird that all of a sudden,
I'm like, oh, why do I suddenly think Joe is cute?
Like it came out of nowhere? Nowhere?
Speaker 1 (19:22):
Yeah, no, I get that.
Speaker 4 (19:23):
How did that happen? Isn't those jeans in the tank top?
Speaker 3 (19:28):
I mean, just you're gonna see them. Amy's going to it.
I'm seeing it like brother concert in like two weeks
or something. Just call me after that and we can
we can.
Speaker 4 (19:37):
Do you think I'm gonna switch to Kevin or do
you think I'm gonna still be Joe?
Speaker 3 (19:40):
No, You're still gonna be Joe. You are still gonna
be Joe. However, you're gonna have any appreciation for Kevin?
Speaker 1 (19:46):
You really a.
Speaker 4 (19:48):
First of all, I've always been team Kevin. I love
them all. Those guys are the by the way, we joke.
But also those guys are the greatest dudes on the planet.
Like they all three are like the greatest dudes. They
are so great, They are so nice, they are so
hard working, they are so awesome. But I think I'm
tim j.
Speaker 3 (20:07):
Just I really hate to be this person because I
for it out of anyone on this meeting. Zoom right now,
you can talk about the Jones brothers for hours.
Speaker 1 (20:18):
But Amy, we have a very war meeting. We need
to go do that.
Speaker 3 (20:21):
We were three minutes late to and I cannot end
this episode without saying Scott Patterson Happy birthday.
Speaker 4 (20:30):
Oh my gosh, are you kidding me? Please say we
send a gift?
Speaker 1 (20:34):
We are well.
Speaker 3 (20:35):
Okay, So it's birthdays on Thursday, September eleventh, so yes,
we do have something getting delivered to his house that day.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
However, everyone listening, if you've made it this far, go
wish Scott happy birthday.
Speaker 4 (20:47):
Please let's go to our Instagram and do a special post.
And also, guys, we need to do our tribute to
Scott Patterson. We should have people leave messages first birthday
that we can play for them on the podcast.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
We love We love you, Scott. You're our fearless leader.
Speaker 3 (21:04):
You are the best leader, and you're such a joy
to be around.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
Happy birthday. We love you beyond.
Speaker 4 (21:11):
Truly, truly, truly, truly, not enough words to express it
clearly enough.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
Well, I hate to be this person to cut us off,
but that's the news.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
