Speaker 1 (00:00):
I am all in again, Less You Gilmore Girls Gazette
with Amy Sugarman and Danielle Romo, an iHeartRadio podcast. This
(00:24):
is His Parenthood, Season two, episode four, Date Night.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
I mean, I have to start with something major, but
I'll let you do this synopsis first, okay, because there's.
Speaker 3 (00:33):
Something in this that I was like, WHOA, I have
to talk.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
About this, Okay, let me give the synopsis really quick.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
Have to.
Speaker 1 (00:41):
So Christina schedules a day night with Adam to try
to rekindle the relationship, amiss the challenges of raising a
child with autism. Meanwhile, Sarah offers Drew unsolicited advice about love,
and Hattie runs for student council president, seeking her family
support for her campaign. Crosby also learns a valuable lesson
about fatherhood.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
So before I get to the major thing, I have
to talk about April Nardini, Hello Vanessa Morano that.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
I hello April.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
I forgot that April Vanessa was on Parenthood, So I
think it's a one and done, one episode only, but
great Gilmore connection and all say good ass always She's
always good and Laurlai really blew it. Although I was
(01:30):
on the same page as Lauralai. I felt like, for
sure that girl was flirting, but she allegedly.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
Wasn't, but I think she was.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
I think she was too totally.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
That was like weird.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
These kids are also in high school, you know that,
Like she got kissed and she was like, oh my god,
oh my god, oh my god. But then she's gonna
go home and tell all her friends.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
She was definitely flirting, or like, yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
Older, I was right, I was right. I agree.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
I don't remember the resolution of that. I don't remember
the resolution. I remember him getting a little mad at Loralai.
Was there was there any kind of resolution there or
did we just let it go?
Speaker 1 (02:11):
I just remember her talking about how didn't she talk
about how somebody rejected? Oh yes, like like essentially she
gave an analogy that somebody that I think Zeke told her,
Oh god, she's gonna bother me. What was the analogy?
Speaker 3 (02:27):
I know, That's why I'm like.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
It was like there's another one right there.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
Oh yeah, that was a good one. There's another bus
coming or something.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
Oh yeah, yeah, something like that where that.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
Was good words from Zeke through Sarah Braferman.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
All right, right now, the thing that shook me to
my core in this episode that I was like, I.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
Feel like I've seen all of Joel. Like there is a.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
Scene where Joel is in his underwear on the bed
and I was like, oh my god, like who, like
am I right? Like it was like, oh, not mad
about it, but it was wowsa.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
I was like, oh my god, what.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
My question for you is what's your hobby?
Speaker 3 (03:14):
First of all, I will tell you about my hobbies, but.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
It was so obvious that Joel should have done woodworking
from the jump. I'm like, I know with these kids
like forget magic and whatever else, he was rockets, like,
you have an actual hobby?
Speaker 3 (03:31):
What is my hobby?
Speaker 1 (03:32):
I feel like we're at the age where like our
work is our hobby.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Totally, and my hobby is sitting.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
I love sitting because I never get to do that
and I really really enjoy it.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
I do dance around my house.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
I'm very into the Jonas brothers right now, Like I
am really into the Jonas brothers.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
I'm not gonna I know, I know.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
I am in my Jonas brother's era. I am a
Joe Jonas person. Who is your Jonas brother of choice?
Speaker 1 (04:02):
Jo Jonahs one hundred percent, hands down, No, this is
not even a debate. It is Joe Jonas.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
I agree, I agree.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
Oh he is so dare I say sexy?
Speaker 3 (04:14):
He is?
Speaker 1 (04:14):
So, I know.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
And I am not into this tattoo he got on
his chest. I'm not into it.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
But I can look the other way or look right
at it and just accept it, even though I'm like, eh,
don't know, but yeah I am. I am Joe for sure.
Yeah yeah, And I'm not Doggy Nick or Kevin.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
But yeah, no Joe. It's Joe for me. Dog It's
Joe for me.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
So basically, you were you were set back at Joel's Oh.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
Yeah, sorry, I went down at Jonas brother's path and
then I wanted to talk more about hobbies.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
What is your hobby?
Speaker 1 (04:55):
I'm telling you, Like, I don't id with Joel. It's like,
what the he is my hobby? I like running. I
like walking the dog.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
Oh, I like walking, that's my hobby.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
Yeah, I mean I.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
Like organizing crap around my house because I never have time.
But like, cooking is not my hobby. I don't do
that sometimes. Singing and singing it's my hobby.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
I guess. I mean, I don't know. I just I
love getting massages. That's a hobby, like you know what
I mean.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
It's like, yeah, yeah, that's not a hobby, though, I
don't think.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
I think a hobby is something you have to like,
I don't have hobby, but which.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
One, Like you have to like practice at it, you know, I.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
Don't Getting a massage is a hobby.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
That's like self care.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Yeah, oh, pickleball, I'm pickleball. I'm pretty good at it too.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
That's good.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
That's a hobby. Yeah, it can be a hobby. Yeah,
all right, Well back to Joel. Wow wow wow wow
wow wow.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
Okay, so uh yeah, I think we talked about that.
It's like he's got a hobby. It is woodworking in
carpentry and building.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
I feel like you probably were roped into this at
some point with one of your nieces. How stressful is
like bring in a family member day and have them
bragged about how cool they are, Like.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
I don't I don't think it's actually that stressful now.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
I have not had to do that since.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
My brother was in kindergarten and he shared me when
I was in sixth grade, Like, you know, you're sharing,
he's all my sharing today is my sister. I don't
actually think it's that stressful.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
But I don't think that. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
I don't know if they do that, Like maybe they
do career day. They don't remember bring your daughter to
work day. Is that still around or did that go
out when with COVID.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
I feel like I've heard from my nieces and nephews
that it's like show and tell day, like bring your
favorite stuffed animal or bring something. Right, I think that's
so stress full.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
No, my nieces love that pajama day, bring a stuffy day, they.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
Do all that.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
Yeah, I don't know, it feels like a lot of pressure.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
Oh pajama Day. They literally just like, well that's fine.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
But like where you have to like bring in something
from your home to talk to me the toffee.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
Day and they just bring in their stuffies. Stuffies are massive.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
I'm telling you, like, I do not remember this from
when I was a kid. I mean maybe one like
we're talking hundreds of stuffies. Cannot have enough stuffies. And
even like my niece in college has stuffies, like has
her like jelly cat on her bed and they all have.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
Stuff Did I send you a picture of a stuffy
that we had to bring home because we wanted at
the oc beer.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
You know, that's amazing, just like.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
I was living in my house. I just sent it
to you. It is strosity.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
Do you sleep with anything? Do you sleep with a
stuffy I don't know.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
I don't.
Speaker 3 (08:02):
I sleep with my blankies that I've had since I
was born.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
And I just had a moment of panic, like because
I ran out the house so fast that I'm like.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
Where's my blanky? And did I turn the alarm on?
Like literally?
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Okay, For example, I had to go straight from Tahoe
to a meeting and I had all my like, you know, luggage,
not a lot of luggage, but like luggage in the car.
But I would never be my blanky in the car
because so I literally had to go somewhere fancy I
don't want to name what it is with fancy people,
(08:36):
and my blanky was in my purse. Like I was like,
absolutely percent my blanky is in because like I'm not
leaving out the car. That's the first thing someone would steal.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Yeah, I mean maybe not the first thing.
Speaker 3 (08:48):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
What in the world, what in the actual you have
to okay.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
End of that, Monstraws.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
First of all, how did you win that? Second of all,
what did you do with it?
Speaker 2 (09:05):
It is Oh my gosh, you guys, Danielle won like
a six foot tall monkey or something.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
Oh, gorilla monkey.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
How did you win that?
Speaker 1 (09:17):
My husband wanted.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
Like what he hit the milk bottles or something.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
No, this was actually kind of a scandalous game where
they had like these like beer bottles laying down and
you there was like a fishing pole with a hook
on it and you have to get a beer bottle
and have it stand upright, It sounds way easier.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
You fit this thing in your car.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
It took up the whole entire trunk, the entire the
entire year, with seats down trunk.
Speaker 3 (09:44):
You mean like the back of the car.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
Yeah, yeah, the whole thing.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
Oh no, it's huge, and it lives in our Where
did you put this thing?
Speaker 1 (09:53):
It lives right now in our living room because it's
the only place that I can fit.
Speaker 3 (09:59):
Why not in the your office?
Speaker 1 (10:01):
My husband the whole way leaving those affair said can
I please just s ditch this? Can I please just
leave it here? And I said, that is rude to ourselves, So.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
You need to definitely give it to like a charity.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
The thing is I told I told my husband.
Speaker 3 (10:14):
Well, they accept it. I also don't let that it's
sitting on the ground.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
I know, just let it be there for a few
days and once he comes over, we're gonna drop it
off my good Will. And he was like, okay, fine,
my son is obsessed.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
Well obviously obviously because that thing is so huge.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
It's like his best friend.
Speaker 1 (10:34):
Now anytime he eats a granola bar or I have.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
To post a picture of this thing. Because people are
not like, I was not expecting this.
Speaker 3 (10:44):
It is intense. Where's Billy Baldwick?
Speaker 2 (10:57):
Like, I am fine with the new guy, but I
don't room does Billy Baldwin come back?
Speaker 3 (11:01):
Like That's what I'm having sort of a I can't recall.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
I can look it up, but I'm how many Google.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
How many episodes did Billy Baldwin do of parenthood? Because
maybe they like tried it and then they just didn't
feel like it was working.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
Or he was busy and has something else being a
Baldwin being Baldwin. I like the character that she's with
more than Billy too.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
I like him and that kiss was awesome.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
I have awesome So I love.
Speaker 3 (11:29):
How he reacted so awesomely to it.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
So he's in eight episodes he comes out.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
Okay, so Billy Baldwin's coming back. We've only had two.
Maybe there's gonna be like a love triangle. I can't recer.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
He's in the next episode. He's in the next six episodes.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
All right, all right, Billy Baldwin eight episode arc. Uh yeah,
I really like this guy. Hilarious when they went on
their date and then uh, you know, Christina and Adams
rolled into the same restaurant.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
I like this guy way more than I like uh,
the teacher, Trey guy the teacher. No, I like him
way more.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
Absolutely incorrect, could absolutely disagree respectfully, couldn't disagree more.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
Jason Ritder is amazing, Jason Ridder comes back.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
No, but I like this guy in this moment, you know,
more than I do in this moment. I like this
character alone.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
Yeah, I actually thought I don't want to ruin it,
but I actually was had a I definitely was like,
should Jason.
Speaker 3 (12:29):
Ridder be endgame?
Speaker 1 (12:31):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (12:32):
Yeah, I don't want to ruin it though I'm not
gonna say if he is or isen, but definitely I
had my times where I was like, Jason Rider should
be endgame?
Speaker 1 (12:41):
Oh okay, all right.
Speaker 3 (12:43):
Yep, yep, yep, yep.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
What else mean? Oh well, talk about cross happening.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
Here was this when he was drunk and there was
the Minka Kelly.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
Yeah, so look I got I got mixed feeling about this.
I got mixed feelings about it. So essentially what happened
is Crosby and Jasmine's mom, they're actually getting somewhat close
and they there's there's a bond forming there. They see
each other and she calls him one night and says, hey,
(13:19):
I need you to pick up Jabbar from school. And
this is like very last minute, and Crosby was at
a work event and he was drinking and he was drunk.
It was not his night to have jabbar, you know,
but the grandma very daytime.
Speaker 3 (13:35):
That was weird though, Like he was drinking at noon.
Speaker 1 (13:39):
Right, but he had it was like a celebration event, right,
so like yes.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
But it was a grassive shot taking from noon for.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
Me fair fair fair, fair, fair fair. But the moral
of the story is it was not his day to
have jabbar, or was supposed to be the grandma's day,
and the grandma asked for help. So Crosby without saying hey,
I can't right now, I'm like literally in the middle
of a party and I'm drunk, which he should have said.
He was like, of course I can, and calls the
(14:07):
Braverman house to see if one of them can drive
him to pick up Jabar. Mina Kelly answers the phone.
She's like, oh, I'll give you a ride. They show
up to Jabar's school, Jabbar's uncle's there because she.
Speaker 3 (14:21):
Was also weird a little.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
I mean, I love it, but a little weird, but like, yeah,
totally weird that Max's aid is answering their landline.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
I agree with that.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
That was the only way they could get the plot
to get Minka Kelly to go, but she is very
clear on boundaries and there's no way that she was answering.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
The phone and also leaving Max.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
He's not there, nanny, she's not the housekeeper.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
There's absolutely no chance that Minka Kelly was answering the landline.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
Yeah, no, that was really weird. And then anyways, long
story short, they show up and Crossbe runs into Jabbar's
uncle who was picking him up because he knew that
Cosby who was drunk, and they got into this like
spat outside the school and it was the one thing
that he said is if you really wanted to be
(15:12):
a daddy would know it's a twenty four to seven job.
Speaker 3 (15:14):
And I kind of agreed with him.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
I agree, I do agree, But sometimes moms and dad's
kind of let loose, gotta have a drink here and there.
Speaker 3 (15:23):
True, but at noon I get it.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
But he also wasn't supposed to have such a bar.
Speaker 3 (15:31):
That mad at any of it. I'm not mad at
any of it.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
Everyone's like kind of right.
Speaker 3 (15:35):
It was address everybody's right.
Speaker 2 (15:37):
And then also I think, you know, Joy Bryant's mom
can't think of her character was right to not tell
her and she was sort of like thought Joy Bryant
should come home, and then Joy Bryant came home.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
Yeah, Renee, it's kind of cool. I think she's like,
that's cool.
Speaker 3 (15:54):
Yeah, down, Like the brother's not bad. He's a little.
Speaker 1 (15:58):
Bit like things seen everything and that. Yeah. Yeah, but
I think he's had to be right. He's kind of
had to be the dad figure for Jabbar for the
last few years and now that's kind of being taken away,
which is an interesting angle. But how do you feel
about Jasmine being home?
Speaker 3 (16:16):
Fine? I feel fine about it. I feel fine about it.
Should be home. I don't know why she was. I
mean I wondered to like do her career, but like
it was that was a lot.
Speaker 1 (16:27):
That was a lot. And also yeah, no, it was
a lot.
Speaker 3 (16:30):
Now they need to settle in that, like figuring out.
I mean, I don't know, Crosby needs a new place.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
Crosby, why did the apartment not work out?
Speaker 3 (16:41):
Like, I don't know, he just didn't pull the trigger.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
Can we revisit that, like get out of the boat, like,
come on, we're done with that, We're done with that.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
Yeah, I don't know on that, And I mean I
like the boat house, but yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
It's time to time to get it out of that thing.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, that storyline is probably my most
not favorite, do you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (17:09):
Yeah, it's frustrating. It's frush.
Speaker 3 (17:11):
I did enjoy, you know, Crosby and Manka Kelly.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
H yeah, they're definitely hooking up. They're definitely gonna I'm.
Speaker 3 (17:20):
Not saying that, but Minka Kelly likes a shot or two.
Remember when she.
Speaker 1 (17:24):
Was uh uh huh, she was slinging back some tequilo
shots at that restaurant.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
Uh yeah, so that might be why she's like, you know,
that might be why she's like, Okay, I'll go get
you and I'm not judging.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
Yeah, Adam and Christina date night. I mean Christina dressed
to the ninth.
Speaker 2 (17:46):
Yeah, totally terrible, terrible outfit, terrible hair, really not good.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
I like that Adam recognited when he was like, can
we just do this next Thursday? And she was and
he just was like, a and we're doing it this Thursday. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
That's what I like is she fully melted down and
I understood.
Speaker 3 (18:05):
And you know, I don't know why.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
Girl from Felicity told her that eighty percent of people
get divorced and it really stuck with her.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
But I get it. I get it, you know, I
get it when you're in a relationship with somebody and
you just want to connect and and you're like, no, no, no,
I want to I want to go on a date
night this week. We needed this, you know, like I
kind of get it. I get it.
Speaker 3 (18:30):
Yeah. I like the whole storyline. It was fine, it
was really good. They It's very realistic to me, very realistic.
His reaction of being like can we move it? Oh wait, no, nope, nope,
we'll go.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
Now why they ended up going to that restaurant when
she was dressed for the prom.
Speaker 1 (18:49):
Not sure, Well, they were supposed to go to a
different place, but I think something happened with the reservation.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
Yeah, I guess, but I guess we're supposed to just
not totally enough.
Speaker 1 (19:00):
Right, So they went to a different a different place anyways,
and run into Sarah and Mike, which felt very much
like when Joel and Julia went to that fancy restaurant
ran into Sydney's friend and her parents. Remember that.
Speaker 3 (19:19):
Oh my god, that was also good. Yeah, that was good.
This is a small town, small town.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
Small town. But yeah, I mean Hattie won her election
and they celebrate. I thought so cute that they like.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
She had her speech that then Amber didn't like, which
I agreed. Ambers whatever, Amber sage like, I fell asleep,
and then her mom helped her.
Speaker 3 (19:44):
Then Lauren Graham helped her. And then it sounds like
she just wong it. Is that the how you say
that wing did it? Wong it?
Speaker 1 (19:51):
Yeah? Because she says she wrote it like right before.
Speaker 3 (19:54):
Yeah, and then she won, she won, and then because
they had a.
Speaker 2 (19:59):
Yeah, and I like the Jackie felt the cake was
from Porthos.
Speaker 1 (20:03):
Oh yeah, that's right because it was in a.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
Yellow barrows in Berkeley, though there's no porthos in Berkeley.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
But still, that's okay.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
Yeah, maybe they went to the La Porthos.
Speaker 1 (20:15):
Drove down town La, picked up a cake, and went
right back up to Berkeley, all in the same night.
Speaker 3 (20:21):
Okay, all in the same five months. Guess what I'm wearing.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
I'm going to take a wild guess that they are black, stretchy, comfortable, breatheable.
Speaker 3 (20:42):
And do not hurt my stomach.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
I have to say leggings.
Speaker 3 (20:46):
That's why I can't wear hard pants anymore.
Speaker 2 (20:48):
But I can wear my ton of leggings like they
are fantastic. And I'm going to a work meeting right
now and I feel cute. Yes, I'm wearing sneakers, but
I wore like my stylish sneakers, not like my Hoka sneakers,
and they.
Speaker 3 (21:03):
Look totally good with my tonal leggings.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
I feel good. I feel cute. I did a like
a tank top on top with a denim shirt over sleeves,
rolled up. Hair's it's about halfway done, not gonna lie
about halfway done the hair.
Speaker 1 (21:18):
And that's fine. You can have half done hair because
you're at least the bottom half of your body looks cute.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
Yeah, this is super true, super true.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
And they're just they're they're cool, like they are stylish,
and I feel great.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
I'm not gonna lie. I feel great.
Speaker 2 (21:35):
I don't want to be a braggy girl, but my
Tonal leggings are rocking.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
We don't talk about things that we don't love, and
this is one of those things. If you love black leggings,
who does not. These are one of the most comfortable
pairs of leggings you will ever grown.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
And I will say I've been washing them and they're
staying like looking good, because I do get kind of
bummed out when I.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
Feel like said and they lose their yes.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
But that is not the case. I'm totally happy.
Speaker 2 (22:12):
I feel like they look as new as when I
first popped them on.
Speaker 1 (22:17):
So if you guys want to try your own pair
of ton of leggings, we got a little gift for you.

Speaker 2 (22:37):

like the free shipping is just absolutely crucial and I
couldn't be happier about it exactly.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
So go check it out and.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
Let us know, like I want to know. If you
don't think, let us know, let us know. Good episode.
Not a ten out of ten for me.
Speaker 1 (22:59):
Yeah, this would be made lowis at nine to one.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
But I'm gonna give it a eight point nine, like
just below a nine for me.
Speaker 3 (23:08):
Good episode though, good episode.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
Good episode, as always had some giggles.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
Always love the giggles. I'd say the kiss was probably
like the highlight for me.
Speaker 3 (23:20):
I was like, way to go.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
Lauren Graham, I agree. She was just so giddy in
this episode, Like even when he I think he says
something on the lines of like do you want to
go out? And she was like yes, yes, yes, yes,
it was It's cute. I like them.
Speaker 3 (23:37):
Yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna say I love the show.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
Yeah, me too.
Speaker 2 (23:41):
I'm looking for a couple of new shows too. I
don't know what I'm I'm kind of like, what am
I gonna watch? I'm watching doc. I think I told
you that he did good. I highly recommend it. It
is actually quite good. Scott Wolfe is so not a
nice person in it though, which I'm shocked by.
Speaker 3 (23:58):
Scott wolf never is like the bad guy and he's
kind of the bad. He's like not good, he's good.
Scott Wolf's in my top list too, of like cuties.
Speaker 1 (24:11):
You know, it's worried about TV this year, and you
would know this way more than I do, because you're
kind of the expert here. But I feel like fall
TV used to always premiere in September and like all
the shows I want to watch are coming in October.
Speaker 3 (24:25):
Yeah, they that started happening a few years ago.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
I actually think originally that happened because of one of
those strikes type of things and just back the start,
and then I think that they kind of just went
with it, like it used to be very early September
all the new shows right now, Yeah, I know, they
pushed it back, and then streaming has made everything very
confusing because there's you know, new shows all of the
(24:50):
all the time. I mean, it used to be in
my like growing up, September new shows may they ended,
and then you're out of luck.
Speaker 3 (24:59):
In the summer, there was nothing new.
Speaker 1 (25:01):
Yeah, you would maybe get like one show.
Speaker 2 (25:04):
That's how nine o two and Oh blew up because
they did summer episodes and all the like kids at
home freaked out and nine o two went from being
like a mediocre at.
Speaker 3 (25:14):
Best to like a top rated show.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
Yeah, so.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
History of television. So it's a bold thing, you know.
I don't know. Doc is good. Excited for more parenthood.
Speaker 1 (25:30):
I'm watching the summer I turn pretty right now. That's good.
Speaker 3 (25:33):
Yeah, not a new I don't know. Maybe I'll give
it a go. I still want to do like Virgin River.
There's so many.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
Shows I gotta do, still, so many shows, so little time.
Speaker 2 (25:42):
But it's so true and we don't even have a hobby,
and yet we still can't fit.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
It all in.
Speaker 1 (25:49):
But in the meantime, I guess we'll.
Speaker 4 (25:50):
Say Braverman's out. See you next week, my modesta, everybody
(26:22):
off forget.
