Speaker 1 (00:00):
I Am all in again. Oh it's you. Gilmore Girls
Gazette with Amy Sugarman and Danielle Romo, an iHeart Radio podcast,

(00:24):
We take you back to February fifteenth, twenty eleven. The
day is that President Barack Obama presented the Presidential Medal
of Freedom to Maya Angelouz. Let's go with It with
Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandley was number one of the
box office to day Bruno Mars the Lazy Song was released,
and the day of Amazing Andy on Parenthoo on NBC.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Oh my gosh, Mark Amazing introduction. Let's talk about Amazing
Andy for a second. Michael Michael Emerson. Yes, for those
of you watching along that were like, oh do I
know that guy? Well, you know from Lost from Lost,
you also know him because his wife. And first of all,

(01:05):
I love that he's married to Carrie Preston. So he's
married to Carrie Preston, who many people know as Elsbeth.
And what I love is that they are they play
I should say, the quirkiest characters. And I'm so curious
if in real life they are that quirky because they
always play all.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Right, what makes it? An actor? Quirky. Is it just
their physical appearance or are they actual quirky people.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
I think I don't. I think they can just play
quirky people because when you look at them, like on
a red carpet, they don't look quirky at all. They
just look really cute. They're darling, like he's really cute,
and she's so cute. Do you know who she is?
Carrie Preston. She's like red hair.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
I think of Kelly Preston when you say that, so
I must not know who cares.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
She's Elsbeth, which she was on. It was that Julianna
margu Ley's show that then became a spin off and
then this is the spin off from The Good Wife.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
The Good Wife. Okay, I'm looking at pictures of her now.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
She was on an episode of Sex in the City
back in the day too. Am I making up that
she got her SAG card from Sex and the City?
I might have made that up. Somebody got their SAG
card from Sex in the City, but I can't recall.
Never mind, I'm giving bad facts.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
She played Ben Linus's wife un lost. Oh that's cute.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Yeah, yeah, and he also after Loss, did another show,
Yes with that cute guy.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
He was similarly in that show Person of Interest. Person
of Interest, Yes, I remember was that.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
God don't it's not Henry Cavill Superman, but it sounds
like that, the guy from Person of Interest. He also,
Oh gosh, I'll give you the name Jim Cavesil.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
I was so oh yeah he was. Wasn't he a
superman or something? He was a superhero.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Henry He Jim Cavisil was famous because I think he
did like a big movie, like a religious movie or something.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Oh, that's right, Yes, he's on that side of Hollywood.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Yeah, we've we've really gone sideways on this though. Ye indeed, say,
I'm going to bring us right back immediately. Did you
do the synopsis?

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Oh? I did not do the synopsis things.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Do that then I can go right now.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
I think structure is so important. Something to give you
the episode. It's season two. It's episode sixteen. Amazing Andy.
It is Wonderful World of Bugs. Christina and Adam Throwback's
a birthday party hosted by Amazing Andy, a man who
lives with Aspergers. Crosby and Jasmine deal with an issue
that could change the fate of their relationship. Drew and
Seth continued to strengthen their bond. Meanwhile, Julia and Joel

(03:42):
work on adding to the family.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Okay, two things that I want to know. You can
pick which goes first? Do we go first with Ooh Crosby? Ooh, Crosby.
You're making some some decisions here. He really need to
be discussed.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Should we go into Adam and the Christina Braverman's bad
parenting again?

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Why don't we end with the bad parenting because that's
kind of a you know, bringing it home.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Yeah, because it's like, guys, think I won't say it,
wait till the end. Let's talk about Crosby. Okay, is
there any argument to be made we were on a break?

Speaker 1 (04:19):
I don't think so this because it's not. There's been
no break established here. It's just kind of a cooling
off period.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Yeah, it's it's rough.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
They're still engaged.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Here's the thing, though, I'm feeling the chemistry with Minka
Kelly and Crosby. What's Kna Kelly's character's name, Gabby? Gabby.
She's great. I love her, right, I love her? You know,
the way she is with Max and the way she
was with amazing Andy, and also how much Crosby sort

(04:53):
of was impressed by her, and you really feel their connection.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
But oops, sepsies, big oopsies, And in the whole episode
you spend hoping he doesn't do what he does at
the end, which is to kiss get computer.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
When they were at the bar, sure, and they.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Did a little bit more than correct, but.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
They didn't kiss, and it was the not kiss that
I enjoyed. And look, I'm not a Crosby Jasmine like shipper.
Is that how the kids say it?

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Sure, so just do it right, Crosby, Like, if you
and Jasmine need a break, be on a break and
go date Minka Kelly, I get it, I get it well,
but you'd.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Have to call off the engagement, which is a major step.
But yes, of course he should not be kissing Gabby
while still engaged to Jasmine. But that's a big step.
We're dark. They oh they slept together, didn't say, oh jeez,
I forgot about that.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Bar Mark's virgin mine. No, okay, let's talk about this.
Jasmine's being a bit of a pill. Yees, she's right,
do you think?

Speaker 1 (06:02):
But yes, okay, okay, I don't think she's being right.
I think she needs to be She's putting up a
lot of walls here.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Oh, and he's trying and look, they can have an argument,
and I frankly think he had a valid criticism. The
wedding was being planned without him, all decisions were being
made without him, and he sort of said like, can
I please just put the bulls where the bulls go?
And that's how life is. You never like explode up
on the wedding thing or the you explode on the bulls, like.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
Right, but post explosion, it's got to be a moment
of you know what, I love you. I love you too,
I know And then and that's where you kind of
come together and realize, hey, there are bigger things.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Here and she's not doing it. She's like, wall, wall, wall.
You need to think about this. I need And she
also was like I need to think about this. Yeah,
I think there's an argument to be made. They're on
a break.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
I think that that's I think you would not see
that way. If you were Jasmine, you would not agree
with that.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
But if you were an outsider, which I am, yes
you are, you be an insider because an insider is
always going to not see it.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
Right. On a break, Mom is continuing to plan your wedding,
and you know she is sure you can?

Speaker 2 (07:20):
You sure could.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
I don't think.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
So you're not on a break. If you haven't, like
sent out the press release, you're on a break. If
the two people have discussed taking time apart, which I.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Think is you're casually dating, there is some gray area.
But once your knee hits the floor, I think that
there's got to be a press release.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
Okay, so they're not on a break. So Crosby is cheating.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
I would say she's cheating on Jasmine. Yes, wow, Yes,
Jasmine doesn't know what he's up to. I think although
you know, unpopular opinion.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
I get it. Crosby, like you and you and Mika
k de Lily had had the had some hot chemistry.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
I get it they did.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
I actually hate to say this. No, I don't. Minka
Kelly probably is better for Crosby. They seem to be
more of a fit.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Is he what's what's your take on young Crosby? Is
he a catch?

Speaker 2 (08:20):
No?

Speaker 1 (08:21):
And yeah, I don't. I don't know that he is.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
The catch is Joel, Like Joel's the catch, and that's
a great The catch is Joel of all the guys.
This is why I like Joel. He just kind of
gets it too, write like he's like the guy. First
of all, he's got this powerful wife and he's not
emasculated by her, but he's also stands up for like, hey,

(08:43):
I need to work. He just gets it right, and
he's they talk it out and they're not perfect, but
they communicate and he's a good dude. And I just
completely understand Joel. And I also really like Julia, and
I think Julia also really likes Joel.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
I agree. I was a little surprised at how is
graphic the word at the beginning of this episode because
this is prime time NBC, but this is not ten
o'clock shown in the bedroom when they were that too,
but also him just completely staring at her butt and
her cleavage and then just the hornyos.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
You can say, boops, it's okay, thank.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
You, okay, but it's a lot. It was a lot
for privable.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
And then to end in the bathroom. First of all,
Christina was hilarious. Do you want to use the bed?

Speaker 1 (09:30):
That was hilarious.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
First of all, I love Christina in this because it
would be so Christina to.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Be like.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
Creeped out or grossed out or offended, but instead she
was just like totally in and that was something I'm
going to say. I really liked to see that in Christina.
And of course she went and told Adam. Obviously that just.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Made it funny banging in our bathroom. What it was
so good.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
This was a really good episode for me.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
I agree, very strong episodes.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Let's talk about John Corbett.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
Yes, let's go to Sex's greasy.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
He got less greasy real fast.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
Yes, less greasy, more likable. They're out for burgers to
getting records. And Zeke Zeke really I thought maybe even
crossing the line there shoving him down him.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
First of all, Zeke crossed the line. And John Corbett
hunching almost the baseball players. That was not cool. And
I did not appreciate Miles. His name's out of my head.
The actors, Miles Drew Drew, thank you that he thought
it was cool when the dad was pushing all the
baseball players around. I did not like that at all.

(10:46):
And then obviously we're supposed to assume that's why. Then
he went and punched the bully, which, look, I get
they shouldn't have. He was getting bullied.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
Yeah, that was Arnie was the bully's name.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
And then he hunches him and and what Seth is
way too happy about it. Yeah, Sarah's dealing with it
pretty the way a mom would.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
By the way, was the actor who plays Arnie the Bully?
Was he also at the beer drinking garage party last year?
Because he looked familiar to me.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
I was hung up on the vest because I'm like, wait,
what what? I can't see the vest and oh it's
the leather vest.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
Okay, because I kind of I kind of like a
side arc thinking to myself, what's happened between Drew and
Arnie that there were buds drinking beer last year and
now they're not talking and Arnie's a bully? Yeah, what's
going on?

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Drinking was not that long ago. I think moments ago.
It was minutes ago. Look, Seth is Seth like he's
not dead of the year, no, and suddenly here he is.
He's going to be gone in the blank, we know it.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
Threading the kids with the baseball.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
That was rough.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
That was like rough.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
I think a felony. I'm not going to lie like
I was. I do not think this is a good.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
You don't like me and I don't like you, so
let's just be civil to each other and the rest
of the time, let's just not talk. And then he
shoved him down in the car. Really not not much
provocation in my mind.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
No, no, there's way too much violence in the family,
Like I don't.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
So much sex and violence in this episode.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
So much sex in this episode.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
A lot.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
Oh, I know it was very What time was the
show on? Nine?

Speaker 1 (12:33):
I want to say nine.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
It wasn't a ten o'clocker.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
I don't think it was a ten o'clocker.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
I think it was a nine o'clocker. And that was
like a lot of butt and a lot of boobs
and zooming in on the butt and zooming in on
the boobs justifying her totally fine with it because it's
her husband. Yeah, well sure, and he loves her and
I love.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
Them, Yeah, I love them.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
Yeah, she's cool, Julia, she is, She's great. How about
when Jasmine makes that crack when he goes, well, I
guess I need a lawyer.

Speaker 1 (13:00):
Call your sold Oh yeah. And I like I like
little hints that the the the the the spouses, the
girlfriends aren't don't love everything revolving around the Braverman's I
like those little hints in there that that's not all
hunky dory.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
But I feel like Joel is the opposite of that
because he's also an you know, outsider, but he's just like,
you know what, I love her, so I'm going to
accept and I'm not going to make He doesn't make
those cracks as much. Right, Christina is like way too vocal,
and so is Jasmine. Actually the Braverman's it's like.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
I get it. I could see that being a tough
thing to get used to.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
You know what. I'm not of the mind that you
make those cracks. Well, you know, I don't care.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
For this crack your spouse and occasionally this crackers are
going to come out.

Speaker 2 (13:47):
I think there's a different way to do it.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
Maybe perhaps it's.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
A little ruffy. Uh. There was no Michael B. Jordan,
was there any hat? There was just Hattie at the
birthday party.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Really right, Yeah, that's about it.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
Let's talk about the bugs, okay, let's talk about the
bad hair, Let's talk about so many things.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
When Christina and Adam were not going to hire amazing Andy,
I was, Oh, that was stressful, shook to my core.
I was like, are you guys at being kidding me.
Your kid is so excited about this and other kids

(14:23):
like this, and the fact that everyone's coming to the
birthday party, like it would have been absolutely devastating if
they did not have Amazing Andy at the birthday party. Also,
the Christina adam Amazing Andy scenes are quite possibly the
greatest things ever. So funny like Michael Emerson about how

(14:47):
about are you happy sometimes?

Speaker 1 (14:50):
Well, that was very moving.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Are you happy?

Speaker 1 (14:53):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (14:54):
Sometimes?

Speaker 1 (14:55):
Yeah, that was really an emotionaltal scene because he's gauging
Max's future.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Guess who cried? Guess who cried in this episode? Yeah,
there was definitely, And like, this is what's so interesting
looking back when I think of Parenthood, I remember crying
a lot. Ye, not this is us crying though, that
was too much for me. That's why I had to
quit This is Us. I was like, I absolutely cannot
have to take advil after a TV show.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
It's a lot.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
Yeah, this this show Parenthood, my peace, Sorry for your ears,
perfect amount of cry happy tears. But did you know
that crying is one of the best things you can do.
That's why it sort of sucks to be a boy,
because y'all can't cry like us. Girls can cry like

(15:43):
every day if we want to, no big deal. You
know it's actually right there, healthy for your nervous system,
Like ladies out there and the old menopause with your
dysregulated nervous system, just cry let it out. You will.
You'll you'll have that sort of puffy eyes headache thing.
But the next day you're like.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
Whoa, wow, it's like Los Angeles after it rains, just
blue skies.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
Christy, Oh my god. An amazing comparison. Amazing comparison. Now
I am supposed to be having some big storm today
here in San Francisco. The winds were nuts. I'm not
gonna lie, but the rain I was afraid I wasn't
gonna get my walk. Also, menopause, ladies, Literally you have
to go on a walk every day. You gotta get
out there. You gotta get in the air when the

(16:32):
sun's out.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
Are there. What are the benefits other than normal walking benefits?

Speaker 2 (16:36):
Oh, oh my god, again regulate. It's the nervous system,
the itamin D if the sun's out, the fresh air. Literally,
this is science. I don't know if it's really science,
but I'm gonna call it.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
Getting outside cry the whole time. You'll you'll check two
boxes off here go get her still a multitasker.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
A great idea. Not sure I would do it because
of the lookie lose, but like, I mean a parenthoodie
type tear would be fine.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
Wait, so there was no Michael B. Jordan.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
By the way, how funny was it when bug Guy
goes up and seems to be taking a shower?

Speaker 2 (17:12):
The best part was Max, He's taking our show. First
of all, everything about it was so amazing. I loved.
I loved amazing. And Andy, yeah great show. Yeah, Like I'm
not into bugs, but like Max loves bugs. Like first
of all the best such a subtle thing. The kid

(17:35):
that doesn't eat cheese and his brother He's like, I'm
his brother, he doesn't eat cheese. That the do you think?
It was almost not noticeable, right, The brother that was
there that was looking out for the younger brother, like,
I'm his brother, he doesn't eat cheese, Like, can you
make a special pizza? Like a little subtle thing that
I was like, I really liked that.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
This show excels with subtleties, doesn't it though? Really does?

Speaker 2 (18:00):
And the cupcakes the gluten free first of all, also
the test taste, test taste taste test of the gluten
free cake wasn't great.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
Right, that's gluten free. Oh, it's getting better.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
Actually, gluten free has come a long way since twenty eleven.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
I bet it has. Yeah, in fourteen.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
I think there are times when I wouldn't even know.

Speaker 1 (18:21):
I guarantee that's true.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
Sometimes I have a lot of food issues, like I
do not do well with most cheeses. I don't have milk,
I can't have ice cream. I'm not afraid.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
You know What's really helped me, by the way, and
I this to those of you who are lactose intolerant.
I am partially, so this has really helped me because
I think.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
All are partial cannot have ice cream.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
I'm a mix and like mozzarella, fine cheddar, No chance,
America is.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
So weird good goat, goat totally fine cheddar fine. Others.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
Oh, put it a chat Gypt. All the cheeses. I
can eat, all the cheeses I can't. It said, would
you like me to give you a list of all
the cheeses you can and can't eat? And I said,
I've waited my whole life for this.

Speaker 2 (19:03):
Wait, can you wait? Can you do that for me
right now?

Speaker 1 (19:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (19:09):
But I'm thinking you might be better at chat GBT.
I don't even have that. I don't even know.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
It's just a website. You can just go to it.
It's great.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
I'm just gonna have you do it. Can you can?

Speaker 1 (19:17):
You? Would you like it to be in a printable
form that you can keep in your wallet? Absolutely?

Speaker 2 (19:22):
Just text it to me. Here's what I want to know.
I'm good with goat and I'm good with cheddar, okay,
but sometimes the others not so much. What does that mean?

Speaker 1 (19:31):
Okay? All right? Asking for a friend because I don't
want it to confuse.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
You have to tell that, okay, thank you. Sorry, I
don't want to mess up some sort of algorithm you've
got going here.

Speaker 1 (19:41):
She can eat goat cheese. No, she can't eat goat cheese.

Speaker 2 (19:44):
No, Goat is great and shows cheddar.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
She can eat goat and cheddar.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
But others.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
Else you know is bad?

Speaker 2 (19:54):
Really bad? Cream?

Speaker 1 (19:58):
You guys whom milk is bad?

Speaker 2 (20:00):
Milk?

Speaker 1 (20:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (20:02):
Weirdly? What about I can't have short rips and I
don't know there's something.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
In it.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
I don't know. I mean, I'll eat pizza sometimes I don't.
It doesn't it's not great, doesn't make me feel great.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Okay, all right, then i'mnna stick with goat cheddar and
ice cream. What do you miss?

Speaker 2 (20:20):
Ice creams and no ice cream and milk and whipped cream? No?

Speaker 1 (20:27):
See what it says, what do you make of this?

Speaker 2 (20:28):
This is amazing? Guys, stay tuned for this. Into your seat.

Speaker 1 (20:32):
It says, that's a really interesting combo and actually tells
you quite a bit about what's going on physiologically. Goat
cheese lowering lactose than milk cheese, cheddar cheese is aged
ice cream high end lactose. Here's what it means. Her
issue probably isn't with all dairy. It's with lactose, not
casin or fat itself. She tolerates low lactose cheeses and

(20:53):
not high lactose dairy.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
Because I can't have yogurt.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
If you wanted, you could try lactose free ice cream.
See if that works, So that would seal the diagnosis.
If they oft fresh cheese is like ricata mozzarella cream cheese.
If those cream cheese is good, bad, Oh, there you go.
That's a lactose sensitivity right there. So it's lactose for sure.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
That's okay, great, because I ate cream cheese yesterday on
a tea sandwich. And it's not like I I don't
ice cream is an immediate issue, not even like sometimes
no ice cream is done, that's done.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
You get the cramping, real bad diarrhea. Well, I know
eventually it turns into that, but do you get the
really bad pain.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
I mean, it's pretty quick diarrhea. Okay, so I'm not
afraid of saying diaria diari.

Speaker 1 (21:40):
Normalize it, absolutely own it.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
Oh my god. By the way, have you watched Let's
talk about this really quick and we can move on
to the metopausmenate. Have you watched the Amanda knock story
on Hulu?

Speaker 1 (22:03):
I have not, but I've heard her on so many
of our podcasts, and I think she's great.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
She's great, and this shows great. The showing of the
toilet that they do. If you know, you know right now,
that's all I can say. If you know, you know,
if you're watching it, you're going to know that they
repeatedly show a toilet.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
That she had to use when she was in custody
or in Curscrea.

Speaker 2 (22:28):
It's a toilet in the apartment, not flushed. It's so
I've never seen that except I think there was one
other show where I saw that where I was like,
what's going on with this showing me these poopy toilets?
But whatever, Sorry, if you're having breakfast menopause minute, Uh,
I have a vibration in my down there.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
Area, like vibrating.

Speaker 2 (22:52):
It's like twitching or it's not. It doesn't do it
all the time. It's almost like a heart palpitation down
there like spasm. Yeah, it's hormones or like stress or something.
It's like not my stomach, but it's lower than my stomach.
It's not like, don't get like dirty about it. It's
not vague. I think this is when TikTok comes in

(23:13):
handy because Google doesn't always like if you google, like,
why is there sort of a twitching in my uterus? Like,
but if you TikTok it somebody's had it. Well sure,
but if you check found a few ladies really had it,
and then it crossed off the worry list. That was
the beauty of TikTok for me. When I found three
other ladies that were like correct, I was like correct,

(23:34):
I'll head out on my walk. So anyway, that was
the symptom of the day. Interesting when listen I'm really
getting serious about Listen. If you want to moving it forward.

Speaker 1 (23:43):
I assume it's happening in twenty six.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
It's like happening the minute Danielle's back.

Speaker 1 (23:47):
Fantastic.

Speaker 2 (23:49):
I haven't told our boss yet about it. Well, actually
that's a lie. Actually I did tell him about it.
I just didn't tell him who the hosts were. I
was really vague. I was like, I have this great
idea for a show. It's called Listen If you want to,
it's going to be really, really good. I can't wait
to tell you about it. I wasn't like hosted by
Amy and Danielle and who's the solarboardy? But whatever, we're

(24:10):
doing this show.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
Hey, why not count me in if you're interested.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
I'm there appear on Listen if you want to. Also,
I will be watching All Is Fair on Hulu because
I woke up this morning to the headline of it
has a zero percent on Rotten Tomatoes. Immediately I have
to watch it.

Speaker 1 (24:29):
Perhaps the worst TV drama of all time.

Speaker 2 (24:32):
Oh, Jackie has watched it. Jackie. We will be talking
about it in the gazette like next week because I
need a minute to watch it. These zero percent made
me immediately feel like cats Remember Cats, Yes, you know
the Taylor Swift James corden Katz and everyone's like, it's awful,
click click immediate. I had to watch it is quite bad.

(24:52):
I couldn't even get it. It was not I understand
what was happening.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
I'm kind of psyched because that's going to draw eyeballs.
People are don't want to watch the worst.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
The best thing that ever happened to him was the
Zero Percent, because I saw him my Hulu last night
and I was like, oh, there it is, and I
went to what did I watch last night? Oh, I'm
watching Hijack Season two. I got it ahead of time.
I already finished season one.

Speaker 1 (25:17):
That's fantastic. Is it good?

Speaker 2 (25:19):
I just started.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
It doesn't come out for a while, Like everywhere this
guy goes people hijack stuff.

Speaker 2 (25:26):
That was my concern about it, Like this guy is
going to be on another plane. It's I don't think
I'm allowed to say yet, but they it's not a plant.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
Oh exciting way to go.

Speaker 2 (25:38):
Interest. By the way, I didn't know I loved Interest
so nice, awesome, Oh my gosh, was sexiest man alive.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
He was a few years ago.

Speaker 2 (25:45):
Yeah, yeah, I think I saw I think I saw that.
Wait there was some Oh, of course Chicago Med.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
Yeah, I don't watch any of the Chicago shows.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
Do you watch any Med shows?

Speaker 1 (25:55):
No? Do you watch like or Dog or No Grat?
And then my wife and I've talked about starting the Pitch,
but we haven't seen it yet.

Speaker 2 (26:02):
Oh oh oh okay. First of all, the pit is again.
Sorry about the peas. The pit is amazing. Gosh, I
really can't How does one learn to not do that?

Speaker 1 (26:12):
I think you get a hit it from an angle
on the microphone, or get a little fuzzy ball on time.

Speaker 2 (26:16):
You need one of those thingies. Yeah, the pit is
Oh my god, I'm harming people's ears. The Pit is amazing.
But Chicago Med, Chicago, I can't even talk Chicago Med.
Love it so much more.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
Than the Pit, which won the Emmy for Best Drama. Uh,
how about the Pulse.

Speaker 2 (26:38):
Could not get into it. I think I maybe gave
it a try. The Pit is great, but it's different
from Chicago Med.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
Yeah right er.

Speaker 2 (26:45):
Did you watch Er back in the day?

Speaker 1 (26:46):
Yeah, sure, back in the day.

Speaker 2 (26:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
First of all, I always do an eer rewatch, but
I get through season one and then I don't do
it again that Georgia. And first of all, I know
I never even got to the John Stay most years,
the George Clooney years, like George Clooney is doug Ross
to me. I think that's the reason I love George
Clooney is from Three Things, One Fine Day, which I

(27:11):
talked about earlier this week. Sorry for the repetitiveness. Oceans.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
Yeah, what about out of Sight with Jennifer Lopez. No,
never saw it, loved him in that. I'm looking forward
to j Kelly. That's a great trailer.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
I didn't watch it yet. I will.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
It's on Netflix.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
Guys. This is what you're gonna get with Listen if
you want. If you're literally going to be overwhelmed and
need a notepad to say to yourself the suggestion, suggestion, suggestion,
And it's going to be like TV, it's gonna be books.
It could even be music. Olivia Dean, Where's she come from?
Either Olivia Dean? I know, because I love that song.

(27:49):
I love all the you know things. Also, I think
I might even say products. I might even go this
is a product and I don't use like skincare, so
I'm talking like the fair face massage or type project.

Speaker 1 (28:02):
Yeah. You know some people are talking in a podcast
they say, sorry, we digress. This show is all digression.
That's it. The whole thing is just a digression.

Speaker 2 (28:09):
Shout out to our one fan who said she loves that,
and I am holding tight with that one fan knowing
one lady said if you love to just hear people
shoot the bleep, this is the show for you. I've
held on to it like, yeah, she's my fairy goddmother.
I was like, lady, I'm assuming it's a lady. We

(28:32):
don't have any men live the new Mark lady bless you. Yeah,
because if you love to shoot this, this is the place. Yes,
this is the place. If you're out on your walk
and you're like I don't have a friend to walk
with today, listen, if you listen, if you want to.

Speaker 1 (28:50):
Perfect, let's bring it home the show and the episode
ended with Sath and Sarah in the garden and Amber
observing from afar.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
Okay, that was a whole thing that I just realized
I forgot about because I literally thought it ended with
amazing Andy, but then it went to Seth and Sarah
and then Amber walked out. There was a moment what
happened there.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
I'm not sure much.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
I don't feel like the words or wasn't it just
like music?

Speaker 1 (29:18):
I think it was just mus I don't think it was.
And Sarah talked, and then I think maybe Amber went
up and said love your mom or something. It was
almost like Amber is looking for permission from Sarah to
be okay with this guy, because she's not going to
be until she sees her mom being okay with this guy.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
You definitely get why Sarah liked Seth, Yeah, for sure.
How about in the school you and your husband. She's
not my husband. They were at one time married, right,
I think so. I think so. I think we're supposed
to assume. So I get it. I get it. Sarah
Seth needs to be a good dude, which I don't
know that Seth.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
I can't remember how this all happens.

Speaker 2 (29:58):
I remember there's hiccups the way. Are you a just
jumping ahead? Forgive us Jason Ritter, Ray Romano, let's just
talk about it later, just in your mind. Did you
have a.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
Favorite, a favorite of the two? Gosh, because I honestly
forgot that they were on until recently. I was reminded
that Ray Romano was.

Speaker 2 (30:18):
On there and save it for five years from now.

Speaker 1 (30:20):
It's fine. Yeah, we might have to save it five
years from now, but I remember being fond of both
and I liked that Ray had kind of issues but
it was getting through them. Yeah, thank you.

Speaker 2 (30:26):
Yeah, I think he's a autistic.

Speaker 1 (30:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
I love Jason Ritterer. This was where I really my
love for Jason Ritter. Yes, the only thing I love
more than Jason Ridder on the show is Jason Ritter
and his wife's love for one another.

Speaker 1 (30:39):
Well that's sweet.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
Like, make it work, Melanie and Jason Ridder, because I
can't take it if you don't.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
Next week's episode of Parenthood, the title kind of gives
it away, but I'm going to go.

Speaker 2 (30:52):
It's like, hey, Minka Kelly.

Speaker 1 (30:56):
Season two, episodes seventeen, do not sleep with your items
a stick, nephew's therapist sound advice. Sounds like it's gonna even.

Speaker 2 (31:05):
Talk about that part of it, but we will next week.

Speaker 1 (31:08):
What do you mean that part of it? Because we did.

Speaker 2 (31:11):
Who was No, we didn't talk about was she wrong
to sleep with her employers? Brother?

Speaker 1 (31:18):
I would say absolutely, I'm.

Speaker 2 (31:19):
Gonna give her some some wiggle room on that. I
am okay, I guess we better go. That's the other
thing we listen. If you want to, you got to
know one to.

Speaker 3 (31:27):
Call it, because you could go on the bo It
just could be forever exactly Braverman's out. Hey everybody, and
