Speaker 1 (00:00):
I am all in again.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
You Gilmore Girls Gazette with Amy Sugarman and Danielle Romo,
an iHeartRadio podcast.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
It is time for Gilmore Girls Gazette and today we
have a very special, very special cameo, a crossover cameo
if you will, Amy, It is our very own Tara
from UH from town Hall meeting her. You hear her weekly,
(00:47):
and we had to bring her in because we realize not.
Speaker 4 (00:49):
A disappointment, Tara, not a disappointment.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
Not a disappointment at all. But we decided to bring
her in because.
Speaker 5 (00:57):
You're here for a very important reason exactly.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
So this past weekend, UH Freak Your Friday premiered in
theaters and I was talking with Amy and we both
were trying to watch it, and we long story short,
couldn't get around to watching it. And I saw the
Tara watched it, and so we asked her to come
on to give her to give us her honest review
(01:22):
of mister Chad Michael Murray.
Speaker 5 (01:23):
And I actually tried to go.
Speaker 4 (01:26):
I actually wanted to go on Saturday night with my
niece to a nine thirty showing, but then she said
her mom really wanted to take her.
Speaker 5 (01:34):
Yeah. Nine thirty.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
Oh yeahn't it late.
Speaker 6 (01:38):
I'm in bed, I'm tucked away.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
I went to Mattinee on Sunday twenty percent off twelve pm.
Speaker 5 (01:45):
Oh, I got twenty percent off.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
So yeah, if you go, if you go to Mattinee
like an AMC. It's like twenty percent off the ticket.
Speaker 6 (01:53):
That was right up my own.
Speaker 7 (01:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
Yeah, so tell us how was it.
Speaker 6 (01:57):
I've heard amazing things.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
Okay, it is. I think the best sequel I've ever seen.
Speaker 6 (02:05):
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 4 (02:07):
I am in shock right now because the review. There
was a review that was so bad.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
Which I don't understand because I saw Tara, I saw
what you said. I had like two other friends that
said the same thing that it was so good.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
Yeah, like so Amy, I know the review you're talking about.
Speaker 4 (02:26):
So I was like scathing, Like it was a review
that said, like this is so dumb or something like that.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
So I have a couple of friends who went to
the premiere and they work in entertainment, and they all
raved about it. And they all saw that one article
that it was just one article that they like drag
the movie and no one agrees. Because I also think
like there's a nostalgia factor obviously, and there were so many.
I have my notes, by the way, because I wanted
to like tell you guys moments unless you don't want
(02:53):
me to spoil it.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
No we want no, no, no, don't toil it because I
but you can give moments.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
This is definitely one I want to watch, so so
I'll tread lightly.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
So there were just a lot of callbacks to different
Lindsay Lohan movies and then also different movies, I'm sorry,
different moments from the original movie.
Speaker 6 (03:13):
Okay, so they sing the song, yes, they sing this song.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
The wait which song the one that she singsango?
Speaker 3 (03:24):
I want to get out.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
People listening, can we give a little insight on the
whole Wango Tango thing? So in the very first Freaky Friday,
not the first Freaky Friday, not the Jody Lindsay Lohan one, correct,
she's like auditioning to play at Wango Tango, and Wango
Tango is like our concert that we all have worked
at for me for many years, thirty twenty years whatever
(03:52):
that kiss FM puts on, and it's like this big,
huge concert. So that was like a huge kiss FM
moment in the.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
Movie The House of Blues in West Hollywood, that.
Speaker 4 (04:05):
Yes, it's not even there anymore anymore.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
It's just an empty lot. They never did anything with it,
which crushes so weird.
Speaker 5 (04:14):
Weird, But so how first of all, how's Chad Michael Murray.
Let's get that out to tie it?
Speaker 1 (04:21):
He is just heart throb. Oh wow, he comes in.
He does that same hair flip from the original or
takes the helmet off his long locks just like waving.
And there's a great moment with him and Lindsey and
Jamie Lee Curtis. Like, that's like the main moment. He
does like pop in a couple of times, but there's
(04:43):
this one moment and if you remember from the first movie,
he's singing hit Me Baby one more time outside of
Lindsay Lohan's window. Yeah, well, the Easter Egg is in
this scene. There is a Britney Spears in the Zone
vinyl that Jamie Lee Curtis is holding up and the
tie in is obviously from the first one, but in
(05:04):
the Zone came out in two thousand and three when
Freaky Friday came out, So it's like the ultimate Easter Egg.
Speaker 4 (05:10):
Oh wow, Wow, that's some egle ezed McGee there.
Speaker 5 (05:14):
Wow, it was.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
It was kind of funny though, because I haven't seen
the original Freaky Friday in a minute, but I saw
so much growing up that I knew everything. And also
there were people in the theater explaining it to their kids,
like remember when we watched it, it was so cute
and they were explaining like Chad's relationship or that was
the theater crowded? Oh not one seed them.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
Yeah, I'm telling you, I rarely get out of my house.
I rarely get at my house, and this is something
I want to get on.
Speaker 5 (05:44):
Yeah, how much money did it make? How much money?
Speaker 3 (05:48):
So I actually heard this shout out to Amy and
TJ's Morning Run, one of our other podcasts. Oh nowt
I heard them talk about it that it was one
of the biggest or the biggest.
Speaker 6 (06:00):
Uh, this is.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
A Disney film, right whoa yes, like Disney opening in
like however many years.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
Wow, this was a shocking number two debut in the US.
Speaker 6 (06:13):
Yeah, number two.
Speaker 5 (06:14):
That doesn't that's not Why was it number two?
Speaker 3 (06:17):
I think it was probably like F one was probably
number one or something like that. Like this did really
really well in the movies.
Speaker 5 (06:22):
Now some movie named weapons. What is weapons?
Speaker 1 (06:27):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (06:28):
I only music. The music of Freaky Friday.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
I feel like in that era when all these movies
like High School Musical. I know that was a TV film,
but high School Musical, Freaky Friday, like Cinderella Story, Cinderella Story,
all the songs were whoa, everyone was playing on the radio.
You know, Like it's so different now rarely do you
(06:54):
get the soundtrack.
Speaker 5 (06:55):
I like, for the.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
Over forties, for the over forties, we're all okay, like
we know those movies, but those are not like, oh,
we're lay outside the realm here because I'm like I
knew the movie. I've maybe seen it once, maybe half
a time, maybe one full time.
Speaker 6 (07:15):
This was this was like a moment in time.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
Oh, like I was also in a comfort movie.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
Now.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
I was singing this song that take me Away ultimate
like all those Lindsay Lohan's songs. Oh my gosh, this
that was our That was our soundtrack, like that was
the jams. And so just even hearing it and seeing
all the promo, I saw Lindsay like post a video
of her and Jimmie Lee Curtis singing take me Away,
(07:43):
and I just I die for it.
Speaker 5 (07:46):
I lot of sing how does that song go? Take
me Away?
Speaker 3 (07:50):
Don't wanna grow up, I wanna get out.
Speaker 6 (07:55):
Hey take me way.
Speaker 5 (07:58):
Ever, never have I.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
Heard this song it was bright red Right now.
Speaker 4 (08:05):
I will commend Lindsay Lohan low hand in just really
getting it together though she seems like pretty cool.
Speaker 5 (08:12):
Now I gotta have a strong comeback, you do.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
There's also one more thing about Chad. There's a moment
I really don't want to spoil it for you, Danielle
at the very very end of the movie there's a
moment with him, and everyone in the theater was just like,
oh my god, because it's like such a it's such
a reference of the first movie. So you'll have to
wait and see it at Is.
Speaker 4 (08:34):
He like like a few cameos, he's not like fully starring,
or is he like major.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
He's Lindsay's So at the end of Freaky Friday, he
gets with Lindsay Lohan's character and in this one he's but.
Speaker 6 (08:48):
Because she was Jamie Lee Curtis.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
But in this movie, yeah, in this movie, she's considered
He's considered Lindsay Lohan's X.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
And now we've got like a whole mess, right, because
it's not like Lindsay and Jamie Lee Curtis switched you
like involve the grandchildren or something and the stepsister.
Speaker 5 (09:07):
There's some whole foursome switch through or something.
Speaker 4 (09:10):
Okay, yeah right, I mean that's a good that was
a good sort of twisted up.
Speaker 5 (09:15):
Okay, I'll give them that.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
It was so great. And then there is a reference
to mean Girls. There's a reference to parent trap, like
it was just like the ultimate early two thousands, did.
Speaker 5 (09:27):
You have an icy or only popcorn?
Speaker 1 (09:31):
Had a large die coke with popcorn, and.
Speaker 5 (09:34):
Oh wow, I don't drink soda.
Speaker 4 (09:36):
But I have now made it where I cannot go
to a movie without an icy, And like if the
theater doesn't have the icys, it's kind of a bummer for.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
The theater doesn't have an icy.
Speaker 4 (09:44):
Oh some do not, Oh plenty do not. But my
theater has blue and red icys.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
I do treat myself to an icy, but I was
getting candy so wanted to sugar it.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
I think icys are like you might as well just
take a cup of shit gird.
Speaker 6 (10:01):
You know what's worried about the icy is I do
the coke icy? So yeah, I don't.
Speaker 5 (10:05):
I don't do that, but I don't even know. I
don't do the coke it feels like it might have
caffeine or something. I don't know.
Speaker 4 (10:20):
Can we talk about how they need to figure out
the butter situation, like get it down to the bottom somehow,
like put the butter on halfway.
Speaker 5 (10:28):
Through and then put it on again, Like we've been
going to the movies for one hundred years, Like.
Speaker 4 (10:32):
Let's figure out that I don't do the fake is
fake butter, and I want all of it.
Speaker 5 (10:38):
I'm like, if I'm going I'm going on.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
I'm just a salt girl too.
Speaker 6 (10:42):
The butter just gets on the hands and it just
it stays there. It stays there.
Speaker 4 (10:48):
No, I'm all about the butter. I actually am not
gonna lie. One time went back and was like, can
I have some more butter on this? Because it's like
it's not even good without that greasy, gooey butter.
Speaker 6 (11:00):
I want to go to the.
Speaker 5 (11:00):
Movies Jurassic in the theater. Did I get tell you
guys about.
Speaker 6 (11:05):
My D and F one and how you threw out
your back?
Speaker 4 (11:09):
First of all, yeah, I threw out my back in
F one Like that was so ridiculous. Although F one
is awesome. Oh Urassic I had to go twice because
the thing broke Yeah, it was like so hot that
it kept burning out. But yeah, I went back and
I still got to see Superman.
Speaker 5 (11:28):
But I guess I'll go to this Freaky Friday too.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
I think you'll enjoy it. Amy. It's it's also like
but Amy, Amy also like her.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
Not to speak for you, Amy, but like you love
top Gun.
Speaker 4 (11:40):
Right, I love Jurassic Superman, I love like right if
there's any kind of aliens involved, all.
Speaker 5 (11:47):
That kind of stuff.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Oh you don't like what daniel though.
Speaker 4 (11:49):
I said this the other day on nine O two
one ozer. This War of the World with ice Cube
not good.
Speaker 5 (11:57):
Not a good movie. I don't even understand what's going on.
Speaker 4 (11:59):
It was like twenty twenty during COVID because it's literally
just a zoom movie.
Speaker 5 (12:05):
I don't even understand. I mean I watched ten minutes
of it and I gave up that hardly ever happens.
I was like, this is so good, but I heard
Superman's amazing. Someone told me Superman's so good.
Speaker 1 (12:16):
I think Easton saw it. I think he liked it.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
Yeah, yeah, Easton and I are really like.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
Yeah, you guys are like simpatico on Danielle and I
like a good cheesy t show.
Speaker 5 (12:29):
So how were the newcomers?
Speaker 1 (12:31):
The newcomers, Oh my gosh. The two girls were amazing,
especially the girl who played like Lindsay Lehan's daughter who
she switched with. She was so good. There were so
many like mannerisms from like Lindsay from the first one
that she had. Oh wow, it was really good. I
didn't realize she's like fifteen years old. I looked it
(12:52):
up and I was like, oh my god, she's so great.
So they did a great job with the casting. There
were a lot of people from the original who came back.
Speaker 5 (13:00):
Is Jamie Lee Curtis still married to Mark Harmon? Yes?
Speaker 1 (13:03):
Yes, And he's in the movie.
Speaker 5 (13:04):
And is Mark Harmon in it?
Speaker 2 (13:06):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (13:06):
Way to go? I sometimes see them at the grocery store.
Speaker 4 (13:09):
Has been a while, but I never saw him as
much as you know.
Speaker 5 (13:13):
He's married to Mindy from Mork and Mindy. Oh.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
I didn't know that.
Speaker 5 (13:17):
What Yeah, Mark, they've been married for like a long time.
Speaker 1 (13:21):
But he's in it. He's great.
Speaker 5 (13:23):
He looks pretty good. Does he look good? Is he too?
Speaker 1 (13:26):
He's older? He's definitely older.
Speaker 4 (13:28):
Because for me, that guy was like the sexiest man alive. Hunky, hunky,
when I was like growing up.
Speaker 1 (13:34):
He's definitely got like gotten older, but he still looks good,
I think.
Speaker 4 (13:38):
And then who's Lindsay Lohan married to? Or is that
the movie She's marrying somebody?
Speaker 1 (13:43):
That's the movie that's not Child, it's not Chad. I
can't remember the actor's name. I'm sorry, I forgot to
pull it up.
Speaker 4 (13:49):
But she married, had a kid, got divorced, and now
she's getting remarried kind of like her mom.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
Correct, did you okay?
Speaker 3 (13:57):
Not to circle back to the Lindsay long hand comeback
story of the decade? Did you watch any of her
holiday movies that? Like the Netflix movies.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
They were so good? Oh good?
Speaker 5 (14:08):
Wait? You mean like during her comeback when she made those?
Speaker 3 (14:12):
Yeah, like was it called the Holiday?
Speaker 5 (14:16):
Yes?
Speaker 6 (14:17):
Whatever? It was so good.
Speaker 3 (14:21):
And I am just here living in Lindsay Lohan's comeback era,
and I am stoked.
Speaker 6 (14:29):
I am so.
Speaker 3 (14:31):
Excited for her. She is really just crushing it. She
really is. She turned it around.
Speaker 5 (14:36):
I do enjoy her commercials. I've seen her commercials lately.
Speaker 1 (14:40):
I saw an interview that Jamie Lee Curtis did at
the carpet and she was just saying how proud she
is of Lindsay for stepping away and moving to Dubai
and just starting her life over there. And then she
met a man, had a kid, and she comes back
for work, but like she created her whole life there
where she's away from entertainment and somewhere where no one
(15:01):
can photograph her or her kids without her right or
right and so that's like illegal there, yes, and so
it was just really interesting And I didn't know that
Jamie said that they've always stayed in touch.
Speaker 3 (15:13):
Yeah, they're like they're thickest, they're tight, They're very tight.
Speaker 4 (15:16):
Because Jamie Lee Curtis is pretty dang awesome. Like I
have to say, I really like her. I like her sassiness,
I like her funniness when she made fun of herself
for doing the yogurt dads, like I like everything about her.
Speaker 7 (15:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (15:31):
She's also tight with Kyle Richards because of Halloween.
Speaker 5 (15:34):
Yeah oh yeah, yeah yeah yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:36):
He is like one of those just cool chicks you can.
Speaker 4 (15:41):
Stay friends with everybody, because she's friends with Ellen k
from the radio too, Like she stays friends with everybody
she's friends with.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
That's so cool.
Speaker 4 (15:50):
And she won the Oscar, you guys, she's like an
Oscar winner and she's such a total baller.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
And if you have not seen her in The Bear,
you met her, Mike right on over to Hulu and
Catcher because.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
She saw that hair in this movie from The Bear.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
Oh my god, she's incredible.
Speaker 5 (16:11):
In which show The Bear.
Speaker 3 (16:16):
Yeah, she plays no Idea Jeremy Allen White's mom. Oh,
and she's like intable, she's like a druggy like way.
Speaker 5 (16:27):
Oh my god, I like her. She's cool. And she's
been married for us a million years to that guy
she likes, So I like that too.
Speaker 4 (16:35):
Yeah, she's married to like a guy that's like amazing,
Christopher Guest, Like they are a super couple.
Speaker 6 (16:42):
Can you guys invite us over for dinner?
Speaker 3 (16:44):
I feel like I feel like that's a dinner party
I want to be invited to, right.
Speaker 5 (16:49):
Yeah. No, Jamie Lee Curtis is totally legit, totally legit,
especially when I see on TikTok. Did you know about
the movie that she did with John Travolta where they're
like aerobic dancers? Oh? I got And I also like
her in that movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Eliza Douchku
And then that's a really good movie. I cannot think
(17:10):
of the title of it right now. But it's a
really good movie. Arnold's like a spy, but she thinks
he's just like an accountant, and then she gets in
on it. I think Eliza Douchku gets kidnapped. You guys
don't know this movie. I'm talking about True Lies. Yes,
True Lies. It's so good. And Tom Arnold, that's a
really good movie. Everybody should watch that.
Speaker 6 (17:31):
Anything else for Tara before we let her.
Speaker 5 (17:33):
Go, Well, i'd like like some sort of a one
out of ten stars of the movie. Yeah, maybe one
out of five stars. I don't know how stars are.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
Oh, ten, it was.
Speaker 5 (17:43):
I got a ten out of ten.
Speaker 1 (17:46):
It's gonna be my comfort movie when it comes on streaming.
Like it was just so, it was just nostalgia at
its finest.
Speaker 5 (17:54):
Wow. That that is a high score.
Speaker 1 (17:57):
And you and Chad won't disappoint.
Speaker 5 (18:00):
One reviewer just dislike it totally.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
She didn't appreciate the first one.
Speaker 6 (18:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (18:08):
Wow, all right, Well, good job Tara, way to go.
Speaker 6 (18:12):
Thanks Tara, thanks for coming with your notes.
Speaker 1 (18:15):
Appreciate you report back when you watch it.
Speaker 5 (18:17):
Thanks.
Speaker 3 (18:17):
I will sure.
Speaker 6 (18:21):
All right see you. But Amy, while we were talking
about Chad, Michael Murray.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
It's a it's a recent headline, however, not a recent
story in the sense that Chad talked about this moment
when he was fifteen years old.
Speaker 6 (18:40):
Where oh yeah, that.
Speaker 5 (18:41):
Is a crazy story. Yeah, tell everybody that story.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
He lost he almost died in a near death what.
Speaker 6 (18:49):
I'll tell you.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
But he lost fifty percent of his blood so like
literally so okay, So he suffered a twisted intestine causing
internal bleeding teen years old.
Speaker 5 (19:01):
And did it? Was there an accident or just happened
out of.
Speaker 3 (19:03):
Nowhere and it he suffered a twist and test and
I'm not sure how, but that's what they're saying. It
wasn't like he got into a big car accident from
what I can tell. But he was hospitalized for two months.
And he recalls this story about how his uh, his
(19:25):
dad like had a priest come and like give him
his like last right. It's like the whole thing, like
they were like this this kid is is dying, but
a nurse gave him a blood transfusion and saved his life.
Speaker 5 (19:39):
And then he just got gilmore girls. Like then he
just was like, now be a famous movie star. Okay.
Speaker 3 (19:45):
But allegedly when at the hospital, he lost over sixty
pounds and at like fifteen years old, Like, how much
do you really.
Speaker 6 (19:50):
Want a big pund?
Speaker 5 (19:54):
Oh my god?
Speaker 6 (19:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (19:56):
So whoa craziness crazy in his craziness craziness. Obviously, we're
happy that he is alive because we wouldn't have had
a lot of amazing Chad Michael Murray content to follow, Danielle.
Speaker 4 (20:13):
I don't want to make fun of you, but I'm
happy he's alive because he's alive and your children.
Speaker 3 (20:18):
And I'm happy.
Speaker 5 (20:21):
I'm happy he's alive because I need it.
Speaker 3 (20:23):
Friday Chad Michael Murray as a teen heart throb.
Speaker 6 (20:28):
I did, I did.
Speaker 3 (20:29):
I'm also happy that you're a good run.
Speaker 4 (20:32):
I mean, Sullivan's crossing this et cetera.
Speaker 5 (20:36):
Uh, He's all over the press right now too. Everywhere
I turn. I'm like Chad Michael Murray, right right, guess
what I'm worrying.
Speaker 3 (20:52):
I am going to take a wild guess that they
are black, stretchy, comfortable, breatheable.
Speaker 5 (21:01):
And do not hurt my stomach. I have to say legs.
That's why I can't.
Speaker 4 (21:06):
Wear hard pants anymore, but I can wear my Tona
leggings like they are fantastic, And I'm going to a
work meeting right now.
Speaker 5 (21:15):
And I feel cute.
Speaker 4 (21:17):
Yes, I'm wearing sneakers, but I wore like my stylish sneakers,
not like my Hoca sneakers, and they look totally good
with my Tona leggings, I feel good.
Speaker 5 (21:25):
I feel cute. I did a like a tank tap
on top with a denim shirt over sleeves, arolled up
hair's it's about halfway done. Not gonna lie. About halfway
done the.
Speaker 6 (21:37):
Hair, and that's fine.
Speaker 3 (21:38):
You can have half done hair because you're at least
the bottom half of your body looks cute.
Speaker 5 (21:43):
Yeah, this is super true, super true. And they're just
they're they're cool.
Speaker 4 (21:49):
Like they are stylish, and I feel great.
Speaker 5 (21:52):
I'm not gonna lie. I feel great.
Speaker 4 (21:54):
I don't want to be a braggy girl, but my

Speaker 4 (23:16):
I discovered something so funny. I love finding old Lauren
Graham shows that I forgot she was on.
Speaker 5 (23:23):
So I sent this everybody, a picture of the cast
of Townies.
Speaker 4 (23:27):
Yes, here's the thing, the reason town First of all,
I don't even know how many episodes it lasted.
Speaker 5 (23:33):
It was like none right, it just got canceled pretty fast.
Speaker 3 (23:37):
But somber eighteenth to December fourth, nineteen nineteen.
Speaker 5 (23:40):
I was like, very short lived, but what year was it?
Speaker 6 (23:44):
Nineteen ninety six?
Speaker 5 (23:45):
But the reason it.
Speaker 4 (23:46):
Was so like what is because Molly Ringwald was in it, right,
so it was like her TV come back, I don't
know whatever you'd call it. But then when I'm like,
oh my god, Lauren Graham was in that show. So
was Office Space star Ron Livingston who later became Burger
(24:07):
and dumped Carrie.
Speaker 5 (24:08):
On a post it.
Speaker 4 (24:10):
And then there was one other person famous, Oh Jenna
Elfman I think was in.
Speaker 6 (24:14):
There too, Yeah, yeah, crazy.
Speaker 4 (24:17):
So anyway, I discovered that had no like if you
would have asked me a week ago who was in Townies,
I probably could have pulled out Molly Ringwold, but not
the rest. So Lauren Graham definitely had some like she
had some failed shows before she just became.
Speaker 6 (24:36):
Lawerli spoke the Z sweet since.
Speaker 5 (24:42):
Busy sweet, I know, bless her. These did not go
with THEE sweet and at twelve were not winners, right.
Speaker 4 (24:54):
That is not like you're like, oh, Cassid Gilmore Girls,
Let's go back and make another Gilmore Girls, because although
I think Twinless is gonna is gonna have some legs,
Like I think Twinless is gonna be good for Lauren Grant.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
Speaking of my throwbacks, did you ever watch Tuck Everlasting
with Alexis Boddell.
Speaker 4 (25:18):
Yeah, I know Tuck Everlasting with the guy who was
also on a soap opera, General Hospital.
Speaker 6 (25:23):
Guy, Jonathan Jackson.
Speaker 3 (25:26):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, So I guess it's the the fiftieth
anniversary of the book.
Speaker 2 (25:36):
Oh.
Speaker 5 (25:36):
I was like, it is not.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
The no, the movie because it was like fifty you know,
the movie came out in two thousand and two.
Speaker 5 (25:46):
But that's why she's doing the audio book.
Speaker 3 (25:49):
Yes, so she is doing the audiobook, which will be
available in less than a month September.
Speaker 6 (25:54):
Second, and was she in the music movie? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (25:58):
Oh, I don't think I remember remember that part because
I just remembered that Jonathan Jackson.
Speaker 6 (26:02):
Who's the main gal.
Speaker 5 (26:04):
Whoa it was during the run of Gilmore Girls. Yeah,
it seems like it.
Speaker 3 (26:08):
Kind of two thousand and two. Yeah, I mean Gilmore
Girls was just start.
Speaker 5 (26:12):
Yeah, there was Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
Speaker 6 (26:15):
Oh, I mean you like that up. That is a
great question. You know, she probably filmed Tuck Everlasting.
Speaker 3 (26:20):
Before Gilmore Girls, you know, it's like a few years.
Speaker 6 (26:26):
Oh actually I don't know same time because Gilmore Girls
started in two thousand and this aired.
Speaker 4 (26:30):
Oh yeah, okay, so she got Gilmore Girls, she became famous,
then she got Tuck Everlasting.
Speaker 5 (26:34):
But when was.
Speaker 6 (26:34):
Sister Sisterhood two thousand and five?
Speaker 4 (26:37):
Oh so it went Tuck Everlasting, then Sisterhood of the
Traveling Pants, which I can name all four sisters hoods
Alexis Amber Tamblin, Blake Lively, and uh.
Speaker 3 (26:50):
America care I thought you were gonna forget about America
for a've never never.
Speaker 5 (26:55):
That's quite a that's quite.
Speaker 1 (26:57):
That was a cast.
Speaker 4 (26:58):
That was a cast, and wasn't it The pants fit
them no matter what, or something like, yeah you hear
this one hair of pants.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
Funny story about this because this was I graduated high
school in two thousand and eight, so the second movie
had just come out.
Speaker 5 (27:13):
There's two, there's a Sisterhood of the Traveling Pans. There's two.
Speaker 6 (27:17):
Why do I think there's three? I know there's there's
there's two. There's definitely two. Okay, I'm looking at.
Speaker 5 (27:23):
Second one not as good as the first, I'm feeling.
Speaker 6 (27:27):
I guess I remember liking both of them. But the
You know.
Speaker 3 (27:31):
The premise is they these jeans are good luck and
they pass them around to each other.
Speaker 5 (27:38):
Like a soccer player, and it's blake.
Speaker 6 (27:40):
When I was a soccer player, Rome and de Grease
and fell in love, I can remember, but my girlfriends and.
Speaker 4 (27:50):
America Ferrera, I feel like she had like a split,
like a step dad or something.
Speaker 6 (27:56):
I forget, I forget somewhere.
Speaker 5 (27:58):
To see her where i'ma I don't no, Okay.
Speaker 3 (28:00):
I just remember Alexis going to Greece and litterly being
in love with this guy named Costas and I.
Speaker 5 (28:08):
Who played Coastess.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
That is a great, great question that I'm going to
find out right now because I had such a crush
on him.
Speaker 5 (28:19):
Right, I need to know if that guy became somebody.
Speaker 4 (28:21):
Michaelaratti, Yeah, he became something a little bit like.
Speaker 5 (28:25):
He definitely worked again.
Speaker 6 (28:27):
Yeah, let me see, let me see.
Speaker 3 (28:29):
He was in Chicago med.
Speaker 5 (28:33):
One of my favorite shows.
Speaker 1 (28:34):
Oh wow, all.
Speaker 6 (28:35):
Right, he's been in a lot, not like no.
Speaker 5 (28:38):
But he definitely works. That guy's around.
Speaker 3 (28:41):
He was an unreal Jane the Virgin. I remember him
and Jane the Virgin.
Speaker 5 (28:44):
Oh, unreal was a good show, all right.
Speaker 3 (28:46):
Nice melrose Place, that interesting Melrose Place, not anyone. Yeah, anyways,
so my this is a very long winded story.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
The second the second one came out in two thousand
and eight, which is when I graduated high school. And
my friends and I, I mean I all my friends
were like six foot I don't know why.
Speaker 6 (29:04):
I was like the shorty pants so like jeans jeans.
Speaker 5 (29:08):
No.
Speaker 3 (29:09):
We had a sisterhood of the Traveling Notebook where we
had a notebook and we wrote in it and we
and it travels from college to college, oh like for
like three years and then I don't know where it
died and where it left off, but we would it
was like a journal essentially, and like we wrote notes
to each other and whatever, and it would, you know,
(29:30):
come to me at LMU, and then I would ship
it off to my friend Jasmine at you know, Boston University,
and then she would send it to my friend alexis
in San Francisco State, and she would send.
Speaker 6 (29:43):
It to my friend Lauren and Kansas.
Speaker 2 (29:45):
You know.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
It was just cute and we did it for like
three years, and it was based.
Speaker 5 (29:48):
Off my gosh, where's the notebook.
Speaker 3 (29:51):
That I don't know, I don't know where it lives,
but we did it. It was like it was a
thing and we it was modeled after the show.
Speaker 6 (29:58):
It was super cute.
Speaker 5 (30:00):
Wow, is a good story? Good? Yeah, I don't do
anything like.
Speaker 4 (30:05):
That, and uh yeah, but I'm really impressed by people
that do.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
Next, up in our Rundown, Melissa McCarthy and her husband
recreate famous Ghost pottery scene.
Speaker 4 (30:21):
From a pottery scene from Ghost. That was pretty funny.
Speaker 5 (30:25):
That was funny.
Speaker 6 (30:27):
They're just funny. They're a good time.
Speaker 3 (30:28):
Speaking of dinner parties, we want to be invited to,
Melisa McCarthy.
Speaker 6 (30:32):
We're we're always here.
Speaker 5 (30:34):
Yeah. Any other good Gilmore stories before.
Speaker 3 (30:38):
This thing is an Adam Brody headline and he was
asked if Noah has any regrets and nobody wants this
season too, which is his character, and Adam Brodie says, no,
I won't regret choosing love with Joanne over becoming hit
Rabbi noting love is worth it. Oh, bit of a spoiler,
A little bit of a bit of a spoiler.
Speaker 4 (30:59):
But I guess we know that, like because Aaron Foster
married that guy, that it's gonna they're not going to
fall apart.
Speaker 1 (31:07):
Right right?
Speaker 3 (31:08):
But we may have already said this, but forgive me,
if we forgive me, if we have But Season two
premiere is October twenty third.
Speaker 6 (31:16):
There is a date, so it's coming up.
Speaker 5 (31:18):

Speaker 6 (31:20):
It's coming up fast.
Speaker 3 (31:21):
I mean two months away, two and a half months,
oh there before we know.
Speaker 5 (31:25):
That one out pretty quick?
Speaker 6 (31:28):
Yeah, I know. I feel like they were just filming.
Speaker 5 (31:31):
Yeah, I feel like I could have waited longer. I'm
not like quite ready for it. But whatever.
Speaker 6 (31:35):
Okay, Oh my god, how dare you speak at such blast?
Speaker 5 (31:38):
I know, I'm sorry. I enjoyed it, but I'm I didn't.
Speaker 4 (31:42):
I think I enjoyed it, but I'm not like that
was the best thing I've ever seen in my whole
lit like, I enjoyed it.
Speaker 5 (31:51):
It was good.
Speaker 6 (31:52):
Yeah, I get that, but yeah that's the news.
Speaker 5 (31:57):
Trying to think if I have anything else good to
tell you, but I don't have a good menopause minute
really right now?
Speaker 4 (32:03):
Other than just a breaks havoc on your whole how's
the uh towards the end of the pregnancy going.
Speaker 6 (32:10):
I cannot see my toes. That's where I'm at. So
that's real.
Speaker 3 (32:17):
That's right.
Speaker 4 (32:18):
You get worried in the shower, are you like whoa,
because like, even I'm in the shower sort of like
whoa if I have to turn around.
Speaker 3 (32:25):
Like oh this is this is rather embarrassing. I was
at my friend's house on Sunday for like the barber
whatever a hangout, and we ordered pizza and We're all
sitting in the dining room table and the pizza was
on this like credenza in the dining room right, and
I'm like, oh, okay, i gotta go bathroom.
Speaker 6 (32:45):
So I'm trying to get out in my stomach.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
Just looks over two.
Speaker 5 (32:50):
Bucks a pizza? Shut up? Do they all go flying?
Speaker 3 (32:55):
Luckily one box was empty and the second box like
flipped upside down, but it stayed in the box, you
know what I mean.
Speaker 5 (33:01):
So did everybody laugh?
Speaker 3 (33:03):
Everywhere was crying.
Speaker 6 (33:04):
I was like this is.
Speaker 5 (33:07):
Oh my god, because I was.
Speaker 6 (33:10):
Trying to like, you know, scoop past scoop, scoopy.
Speaker 5 (33:13):
Are you there? Were you the only pregnant person?
Speaker 3 (33:15):
Yes, but I mean it's it was it was like
literally us and our two best friends and their kids.
They have older, you know, like middle uh kids that
are like five and six. So yeah, everyone was just laughing,
and I was just like, oh my god.
Speaker 5 (33:30):
I'm not gonna lie. I saw a pregnant lady yesterday
and I was like, that looks it's hard.
Speaker 6 (33:34):
It's hard, it's hard. Yeah, Wow, here we are.
Speaker 5 (33:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (33:42):

just like how crazy it is that, like there's a
human in you.
Speaker 5 (33:47):
But I'll just say that.
Speaker 6 (33:48):
